Mornington London Kensington, BW Premier Collection

We had an incredible stay at the Mornington London Kensington! I traveled with my daughter during spring break, to visit my younger daughter who is studying abroad this semester. The first wonderful thing that happened was that our daughter who is studying there spoke on the phone with Fred about a room that would have a space for her to stay with us some of the nights. Fred explained there was a really good option with an extra pullout where the 3 of us would be comfortable right on the ground floor. When I arrived at the hotel, Fred remembered about our room & even showed it to me before we decided it was a good choice for us. The personal touch really made a difference. The large main bed was super comfortable for me & my older daughter. The extra bed was perfect for my younger daughter and we were thrilled she could stay with us, which meant we could see more of her during the weekdays she had classes. The location in Earl's Court is just fantastic!! Everything you need is right there near the Underground station, and the hotel is around the corner. We also loved the location because it is less hectic than being in central London. There are easy connections to get anywhere from Earl's Court. All of the staff at the Mornington was fantastic. Erinco even heated up our daughter's heating pad in the evenings. The two women who work at breakfast were great as well! After the first day they remembered my daily latte order right when I walked in. The breakfast is not to be missed! There are cold items, yogurt, cereal, toast and pasties. Then you can order hot food each morning, which is made to order and delicious. It is also nice because it is never really crowded. When full the breakfast area holds about 30 people, it is so lovely. The hotel is updated and modern. There are charging cords right near the bed, and we didn't even need a converter to charge our phones. The shower is really nice, and the hotel provides soap, shampoo & conditioner. The towels were also large & soft. I would love to return to London and this hotel would be my first choice of a place to stay! Thank you to all of the staff at the Mornington for making our stay in London so personal & wonderful. We miss you! It was a true pleasure to come back to our comfy hotel space after our days out exploring London. Earl's Court always felt safe, even when we returned late after a visit to Harry Potter & Wembly Stadium for a football game.

First and last time staying at this hotel. Pros - quiet, even though it's close to Earl's Court station, bed was small, but comfy (1st rating point), breakfast was good (2nd rating point). Cons: I got a lower ground floor room, so little light and no view and it smelled damp and a bit moldy all the time as soon as you entered the LG area. Aircon/heating worked for one day and then never again (I stayed for 5 days), no wi-fi in my room at all (btw not in the breakfast room either), the shower was tiny (a small triangle; even as a slim person you could barely move), the sink - a narrow rectangle, totally impractical - only had cold water. There was a flashing smoke detector directly over the bed that kept you awake at night (I MacGyvered it with adhesive tape and cardbord), and you had next to no storage space for clothes etc. The whole room was super tiny, so you could barely move. And there was construction work going on for a whole day in the lower ground floor area. Tbh, I have had better quality in 2,5 star motels for a fraction of the price, so no recommendation.

Stayed for a night with my 8 year old son,really close to the underground and a nice modern clean hotel. Staff were all very friendly I honestly couldn't fault anything from our stay. We took an Uber into Stamford Bridge for £10 and walked home from the game only about 15 mins. I normally would leave reviews but I felt this one was deserved.

Convenient location on a gorgeous street in central London. Beautiful modern decor and the perfect place for a business or leisure trip. So easy to get around as Earl's court station is just up the road. Will most definitely stay again. Thanks to the staff for a lovely welcome and excellent service :)

We stayed for 2 nights for a short London gaunt. Hotel is centrally located around corner from Earls Court tube with many shops, bars and places to eat nearby. The hotel was super clean and very fresh, with a proper “Kensington feel” to it. Staff is what makes a hotel experience and all the staff were super friendly, very smart and professional. If you are a larger person, the shower might be a little difficult for you but otherwise 10 out 10! Oh also, the bed was amazingly comfortable and I'm really fussy when it comes to a good mattress!

The worst 4 star bedroom we have ever stayed in. Far too small and uncomfortable. Very close to being unfit for purpose. No clothes storage, couldn't move in the shower and very difficult to sit on the toilet which was about 1ft off the facing wall. The double bed was against the wall which meant that someone had to climb over the other one to get out of the bed. Certainly nowhere near 4 star.

Location very good, staff very good and the hotel was clean. The breakfast was good. On the down side the room was small by the shower was tiny, the bedside lights could only both be on or both off which is not good if one person wants to sleep and the other read. There were charging points either side of the bed however one of them only worked when the main bedroom lights were switched on so no charging overnight. The main disappointment was the internet which if it worked at all, which was rare it just kept dropping out. It's 2024 so getting the internet working is quite basic.

Absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel recently. The location is excellent, 2 minute walk to Earls Court underground station. Hotel staff couldn't have been more attentive and polite. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff were constantly trying to improve our stay, either by making polite conversation or giving handy tips where to visit/eat or drink.

2nd stay at Mornington Hotel. It was just as good as the first. The rooms are very well presented - compact but enough room. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Staff are really nice. Vegetarian breakfast was quick and very tasty. And only 150 yards from Earls Court station

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast freshly cooked, convenient location for Earls Court tube. But Executive room was on the small size, shower cubicle cramped, and sink was barely big enough to wash hands, with access restricted by an (unnecessary) shelf immediately above. A shame, as this would have been a 10/10 otherwise.

I stayed here during a weekend trip into London last weekend and I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The location is beautiful and conveniently close to the tube. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean and welcoming and its staff are happy to help with a 24/7 reception and bar. I have a disability that limits my mobility (I have a walking stick) and the hotel were able to accommodate with an absolutely stunning room which held a large level floor shower. The towels supplied are plus size friendly and the room was clean and well stocked with most necessities. My only concerns if you are considering staying here with a more severe condition there are multiple steps leading into the hotel and the bathroom (At least the one I had) would not be able to accommodate a wheelchair into the shower because of the way the door opens/closes. Ultimately I would definitely stay here again and I can't thank the hotel enough for being so accommodating!

Good hotel, no decaf coffee one restaurant is closed as only kitchen staff can use the coffee machine. Ground floor rooms are noisy due to wooden floor. Rooms are tiny but get space is a premium. Fred was so lovely spoke to him before arrival and at check in. Amazing customer service. Others weren't so helpful see above comment about coffee. Choice of soft drinks quite limited. Breakfast menu was ok, would have liked pancakes as an options rather than cooked or continental breakfast.

Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. This hotel is lovely. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The room was small but as expected for a city hotel. Very clean and toiletries lovely quality. Only thing the room missed was a full length mirror.

A great stay made even better by the attention to detail and friendliness of Fred at Reception who went above & beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Great location close to Earls Court tube. Hotel looks like it has been recently renovated and was clean and bright throughout. Didn't interact much with staff but, when we did, they were all very helpful. The room was small (as we expected and glad we paid extra for a slightly bigger room) nut was clean and nicely decorated. We couldn't fault it.

We were staying at this hotel in January. Never have I ever stayed at a room that was located at the BASEMENT, not even at a three star hotel. The room was tiny, and freezing cold if the air-conditioning was turned off for 5min. What I disliked the most is the fact that I read later in the reviews that one could have requested to be moved to a room in the upper floors, but if you don't complain you stay in LG?!! This is such a bad and dishonest service, and I don't agree with some people saying in the reviews that appreciated that they moved them to upper rooms. This is what should have been done in the first place- 4 stars room experience!

One of the best hotels I have ever booked! Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, top location, near underground and bus stop, very good continental breakfast and nice view from our executive suite. I have read many reviews but I don't really understand them, because they talked about view and windows etc despite the fact that the booked oom was budget or economy for example.... I would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

Convenient, 2 mins walk from underground station. Good location with lots of restaurants to choose from. Staffs were super friendly, welcoming and attending to your needs. Whenever you need help, they were the first to reach out their hands and asked if you need anything. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Just returned from a gorgeous 2 night break in this gem of a hotel. Fabulous location.. a 2 min walk to Earls Court station. This hotel has recently been fully refurbished & it smells new. We had a cozy room on the 4th floor. The bed was so comfy ! Breakfast was perfect. So much choice and really good quality. We found every single person that work here to be friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

We had booked a Executive Queen room, the first room we were given on the top floor was very small but newly refurbished and very clean, when we came to shower in the morning we found that the shower was so small it was unusable. We contacted the reception and we were moved to a much roomier room with a decent sized shower at the back of the hotel on the ground floor. The hotel is very clean and the staff are helpful and it's in an ideal situation for tube links.

Hugo and his team clearly take pride in their work at this newly refurbished gem of a hotel. Their attention to detail and endeavours to ensure guests are not only satisfied but delighted is refreshing. Yes, the rooms are small but remember this is an old building in the heart of London and so they are typical of this era. As tourists we spent most of our time out and about so more important is the comfort of the beds, the cleanliness of the room and the amenities offered. I cannot fault any of these. The breakfast is top notch - a superb continental buffet plus a choice of cooked breakfast, all served by very charming and attentive waiting staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London - the location is superb for access to underground and bus routes and the neighbourhood is quiet. I am already booked to return to London in March and again in April and am so pleased to be returning to the Mornington London Kensington on both occasions.

Considering the standard of hotels in London, I was extremely impressed by this hotel. Staff was nice and welcoming. Furniture was recently renewed. Room was clean. I enjoyed so much my stay that I will definitely come back! It was also very close to the center or London! the tube was 2 mins away from the hotel

Very clean, very friendly, and perfect location, but small room with very little window without direct day light. Impossible to stand upright in the shower as an adult. Small double bed against the wall. Even booked as 'economy', we did not consider this a full room. Could be ok to book for children below 10, but not for adults. In another room, we would certainly recommend this hotel though.

A room that's much, much too small. Bathroom also too small, only one person can fit in at a time. The bed is stuck to the opposite wall. No space to move around, no mini-fridge, room in basement, so window facing wall. The hotel is nice, the staff are friendly and it's close to a metro station, but it's not worth the price.

A fully refurbished boutique hotel in a convenient location. Had a lovely feel about it. Staff could not have been more attentive, friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Bed was great. Shower cubicle in bathroom was very cramped (I am a fairly large individual). The lift was tiny and has room for only one person and two cases. Breakfast items were prepared to order and the quality was excellent. Great choice on the buffet. Waiting staff were spot on. Would happily return and confidently recommend.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Lots of plus's about staying here. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the hotel in general was very modern. It is a 3 minute walk from Earls Court Underground and the road that's on has bars and restaurants on it, and everything else you may need. It was also very decently priced for London. The only negatives I could mention are that I stayed in a single room and I have to say it was very small. That didn't bother me much but it may bother some people. Everything was very compact, and there's not much storage space but I only stayed 3 days so that wasn't a problem. I found it impossible to wash my hands without soaking the bathroom floor as the sink was tiny. I felt it only fair to mention these things as that's the point of reviews. Overall It was a great stay and I would stay there again.

I was very impressed with my recent stay at this property. This hotel has a boutique like feel, and my room was cozy, clean, and had nice in-room amenities. As a solo traveler I had no problem with the small room size and bathroom. I was always treated very kindly by the warm and caring staff. I will definitely return!

Very nice and cozy place. Excellent service, staff and a tasty breakfast. Our room were maybe a bit tiny but that wasn't a big deal and it made the atmosphere more intimate. Highly recommend this place!

The location of this nice hotel was just perfect for my business trip. I could reach all my meetings on foot within app. 20 minutes which helped me to safe time without using the Tube every day. Moreover it's just minutes away from Earl's Court which is very useful both on arrival and departure. The room was very clean and although of typical size for London I had all I needed for very pleasant sleeps and even some work in-between my meetings. The WiFi worked excellent. Breakfast was really great, with lots of options both for the cooked breakfast and the buffet.

Top location. Great clean Hotel. Convenient to trains and buses and attractions. Breakfast was excellent! Customer Service was very helpful in directing us as hi was to navigate London by Bus and Train!

Still under renovation. “Queen suite” hotel room well presented but certainly not queen size. Once guests started to use their bathrooms you could hear water running through the waste pipes in our room - we thought we were going to get wet!! Disturbed night's sleep as a result and when complained in morning staff not surprised or interested. Gave hotel a chance to respond by email and a week later still not heard anything!! Present themselves as high end, but customer service certainly not high end

Horrible experience. I wouldn't wish it on my enemies. All of the rooms are incredibly small, which is to be expected in London, but BASIC appliances are not available or functional. What kind of bathroom doesn't have a single towel rack? Where are you supposed to put your towel (hand towel included)? Why are the sinks tiny rectangular boxes that are impossible to use for things like shaving unless you want to clean the floor every time. Why did the fire alarm in our room go off at 7am because someone burnt toast in the kitchen? Is there any delay in this system? Why do the soap dispensers require multiple pumps to get a modicum of what's required? All of these things point towards an owner who has contempt for the people who use this hotel. They clearly haven't tried spending a night here. Truly disgusting. I hope this place goes out of business.

I rarely write reviews but I was very worried after seeing so many bad Google reviews on our way to the hotel so I decided to leave one to prove that this is a wonderful hotel! Me and my mum stayed here just for a night to sleep. Firstly, the hotel is just a 2min walk from the tube station Earl's Court (Piccadilly line) and located on a cozy, safe street that has lots of other hotels around. The hotel looks small from outside but there are quite a lot of rooms. Reception seems to be open 24/7 (considering we arrived at 1am and were greeted by a lovely gentleman). He also asked how many room cards we need. The hotel has been recently refurbished (we think) as the carpet looks fresh, there's a vague smell of fresh paint in the hallway and the rooms look completely new. We stayed in a compact double bed room as we just needed a place to sleep & eat. The rooms are on the smaller side but worth it for the price. It was actually much cheaper for us to book the stay directly on the hotel's website as well. I would say if you want to stay in central London then this is a fantastic spot! Breakfast was lovely - it's £20/person per day (if not included) and there are small pastries, toast, cold meats & cheese, fruit, juice, yoghurt with toppings & honey/jam. There is also a list of hot foods made to order (e.g. various forms of eggs, omelettes, mushrooms, bacon, etc) so you can have a full English or a different mixture of foods. Tea/coffee & water is included of course but you do have to ask the waitresses for them though! Speaking of them, they were so attentive and sweet :) The room itself had lots of amenities. There's a coffee and tea making station (with milk pots), an ironing board & iron, hairdryer, hangers, a very good air conditioner, a big TV, and Rituals soap & shampoo in the bathroom! There's a handheld shower & rain shower. Of course, there were a couple of bits that we didn't love but that's only fair. The sink in the bathroom has a very modern design and the basin is rectangular so you have to wash your face standing sideways. The shower is up against a corner of the wall but just has a shower curtain which I think you kind of have to pull around the whole open corner? Also, the chargers by our bed were not plugs but just a USB & USB-C slot so make sure you have a cable! There might be plugs somewhere in the room but we didn't look as we had cables. Overall, honestly I would rate this place a 10/10. There was nothing that really bothered us and it was a pleasant hidden gem! And the price we got (booked early, non refundable etc) was only about £125 for the night which is quite cheap for this quality in central London. ABSOLUTELY will be recommending this place if any friends/family need a place to stay!

My elderly mother was stranded 3 days awaiting a return flight to the US. Hugo, Jazzy and Danny looked after her and patiently assisted in retrieving her lost passport and valuables and relaying crucial info to family. She was so happy with her comfortable stay and their professional aid and attention. She loved the breakfast! Great people, pleasant amenities, great location. Our family can't thank you enough!

There were stains on my mattress cover but the housekeeping changed it and was offered complimentary breakfast. It's just hard to imagine how you can make a bed and not notice a stained linen. Also there were renovations going on and sometimes there were chemical smells. And the air condition was not adjusted after request. One worker said I could do it in the room and someone else said they had to do at the main controls.Single room is very compact.Overall the bed was comfy and hotel quiet. Breakfast was good but costs extra 15-20 GBP. Safe neigbourhoud and excellent location to the tube, snacks and restaurants. Good service especially in the breakfast area.

I'll start with the positives. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Literally a three minute walk to and from Earls Court Station. Loads of places to eat, drink and grab a coffee from on Earls Court Road. On my first evening I was given a complimentary upgrade to an executive room, which was a very pleasant unexpected surprise. The room was small but beautiful and extremely well finished. Now the negatives. On my second evening I was moved rooms, which I knew would happen and was fine with. The room was nowhere near the same standard as the previous one even taking into consideration it wasn't an executive room. There was no bin in either the bedroom or the bathroom, no hairdryer nor remote to watch the TV. The shower only had a curtain which was useless and flooded the bathroom when used and the carpets had not been finished correctly. When I checked out I informed reception of the lack of items and was advised it was a new room that had just been released. Surely a new room would contain these basics?! Upon check in the receptionist was very friendly and helpful but was on a personal video call. Sadly the location does not make up for all these downfalls. I would only recommend staying here if you book an executive room. I won't return.

Awesome location, small room, but everything is there and spotlessly clean. I am back in London in 2 and a half weeks and I would stay again. Staff were so helpful and storing luggage was a breeze. Great sound proofing meant a good nights sleep. Minutes to Earl's Court station.

Nice staff, clean rooms although quite a compact room. It was in a decent location and close to the rail. It was a bit confusing as there were 3 names the hotel was called making it difficult to locate. I was informed it had been renamed it but there was not clear communication of the correct name of the property.

Stunning little hotel near Earls Court station. Lovely staff and reception area and had my room upgraded as it was my birthday. The room was so nice and the hotel was excellent value too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone coming to london for a classy affordable stay in a stylish hotel that has a modern twist on Art Deco style.

Our “stay” was in late July. The hotel was under construction, which we had not been told beforehand. Jackhammers were operating literally just outside our window on the ground floor. The wifi reception in our room was non-existent, so I had to go to the lobby to use the internet. The AC didn't work. The electrical circuit-breakers kept going off and we were told this was because we were using extension cords. We were told that no extension cords were allowed. There were no electrical outlets on the side of the room with the bed, so this was unworkable. If there are only outlets on one wall, you have to allow extension cord use. Common sense. There was just one small wardrobe for all of our our clothes, with no closet. The rooms were new (well, the place was still under construction) but were dusty, as you might imagine. I had to wipe down the top of the wardrobe so we could use it as a shelf. When we told the front desk we had to leave and book another hotel, we were told we would be charged for that first night, even though we only stayed a total of three hours.

I come here every year - when I have to run away ( for 3 nights ) from my home in Notting Hill , due to the Carnival! The hotel has had a total refurbishment and looks spanking new, with all the bells and whistles ! I booked in advance through the Best Western website - and got a great deal for £128/night, incl . breakfast . This was a tremendous deal - as the location of the hotel is perfect : close to Earls Court tube station, but on a quiet street; one may also walk to all the museums in nearby South Kensington, and there is also the very green and salubrious Brompton Cemetery nearby - with its delightful trails for walks , as well as a convenient little café! A M&S Food Hall is less than five minutes' walk away, and a Tesco Express is also conveniently nearby . My air- conditioned room in the hotel is quiet, very clean and well-furnished with all convenient amenities, and my welcome tray was replete with snacks ( crisps , cookies) , cans of soft drinks as well as water, and there were also Twinings teabags ( and Nescafé coffee sachets ) . I have had the hotel breakfast for 2 mornings now - really excellent quality , and great choices available ( I rather gorged myself, oops) . The hotel staff are always helpful and polite , much appreciated . As far as I am concerned , I am truly enjoying my enforced sojourn here - so thank you so very much to everyone at the Hotel !

Great venue with amazing service. I was welcomed from the first minute and allowed to check in slightly earlier than expected. The room was clean and with all the necessities provided. I really enjoyed my stay and I look forward to visiting this hotel again

Yikes on this room. I wouldn't stay more than a few nights. We stayed on the new side of the building with all the new technology / fixtures that were confusing. Everything is TINY in the room. There were two false fire alarms first night, another one woke us up the next night, another the morning we left. None were explained beyond "someone was trying to dry their hair. There was a leaking roof in the reception area, and the staff seem to be inexperienced and confused. The location is really excellent, however, and the rooms are quiet aside from the alarms, so there's that.

Hi I'm writing about the absolutely terrible room, stay and service I received in room 406 from the 5th to 6th of August . There was no AC in the cramped hot stuffy room and even after repeatedly going downstairs to ask for a AC fix or a room reassignment 3 times I was told that there would be no resolution and that I would have to stay up all night until management came in at 9am the next day and I was promised by the person in-charge that I would be rebooked for another day in my situation. However in the morning I'm told there are no managers on the weekend and that there is no one in charge I can even speak to directly or even on the phone. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable. PLEASE SHUT DOWN ON THE WEEKENDS IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYONE INCHARGE present. Additionally the rooms and the door are not soundproof and my room was placed directly in front of the constantly squeaking elevator lobby door, this is such basic guest service to even just oil the hinges or something, but I have to stay up all night because of management's incompetence. This is absolutely insane treatment. Additionally I was unable to reach the anyone over the phone number provided during then morning before I even came to the hotel

Oh my jesus what a fantastic hotel I came across. Came here on a recommendation from a friend at work and such a lovely place in Earls Cour. The Front House manager Jazzy was so polite and understanding which just made the overall experience perfect. They are going under renovations, but once done I think this should be a 5 star hotel based on the customer service I received. Lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast. Nothing to complain about.

Great value for money, location very convenient. Rooms are sized well in comparison to London accommodation and especially at the room rate. Clean and modern rooms. Very happy with staff both on reception and in breakfast room. We booked here last minute as our pre-arranged accommodation was so bad and had to checkout, so we were so lucky to stay here.

The hotel is in the midst of renovations which they don't tell you about before hand and are happy to charge you the normal price even though in our case there was no handle on the wardrobe door, the air conditioning was not working and the corridors had wet paint signs on them right around the entry to the area in which our room was. Not a good way to treat guests. In saying all this the room was a good size for London, it was clean and well presented. The staff were helpful and of course the location is very convenient for transport and eating. All in all liked the hotel but was not impressed with the price I paid to stay on a work site

Hotel renovations; management needs them and guests will appreciate them...AFTER they're completed! It baffles me that this hotel took bookings while they were completely renovating each floor, the staircase, the lobby... ultimately felt like being robbed and had been exploited by an establishment that hadn't even bother to send an email/notice/warning that guest would be staying in a construction site. The hotel has been undergoing major renovations since at least march 2023 (as per the employees). This means dust everywhere, a lift that does't work, noise during the day. I'm sure this will eventually be a nice place, but would not recommend at all presently.

Location is excellence. Short walking to tube station and bus station. Small room with unworking air condition. Super lumpy bed. Super small shower area. Bad quality of sleeping. Average quality of breakfast. No toilet in reception area while waiting for check-in.

Last minute reservation when another hotel turned out to be awful and not what we expected. Very accommodating, helpful with requests, and very pleasant workers throughout our stay. Perfect location, Earl's Court Station is soooo close, and you there are so many businesses near - food, grocery, etc

Hotel is in an excellent location and ideal for exploring London. Earls Court station only one street away. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was spotless and would definitely stay again without hesitation.

None of the services advertised where available. No TV, no air-conditioning, no telephone, no tea/coffee facilities. Twin room should have been a single as there was not enough room to even change. Even furniture was only for a single room. It was not a bathroom but a wet room. Definitely not a 4-star. Breakfast cancelled on 2nd day after having to go to another hotel on 1st day

This is a big NO unless you verify that their remodeling is finished. NO elevator (lift) for my mobility impaired wife. The website doesn't tell that they are a mere shell of a hotel during remodeling. There is no lobby and no amenities (and no elevator). Do not go unless you can verify they are fully rebuilt. The room we stayed in was very funky shaped. Obviously it is a converted house, but you could barely move around in the room. Still, it was clean and comfortable enough at the end of a day of sightseeing. Convenient to the tube station.

Booked this hotel as it was rated four stars. But how can this hotel be rated four stars??? More like one star. The worst hotel i ever stayed in. Tiny rooms. not clean. plus scaffolding everywhere and builders noise. DONT BOOK

Hotel was as expected. Situated in a nice neighborhood. It was easy to travel to and from the hotel. I arrived in less then an hour by train from Gatwick. Only 200 meters walk from earls court underground station. Hotel is undergoing renovations, no restaurant available.

At £260 a night this hotel should be ashamed of themselves for charging this kind of money. Firstly no forewarning that there were buildings works taking place at the hotel. The reception area was more akin to a construction site. The first room was meant to a king size bed so I expected a reasonably sized room instead what I got was a bathroom closer to the size of a aeroplane cabin. The distance between the shower and toilet was no more than 10 cm. The queen sized bed (not king) and desk barely filled the bedroom. The staff understandably moved me to a larger room the following day but despite being larger the condition of the bathroom was shocking. Best Western proudly brag about their high cleaning standards. You can decided for yourself from the pictures…

The room could be more clean and it could be paid more attention to the details (TV with some issue, A/C too cold after the room "make up" and no bags in the bins after the first change): overall, despite some flaw with the room (but by my experience is always like this with single room in London), the staff has been very kind and available. In booking phase (on Lastminute.com) there wasn't written anywhere that I had to pre-emptively swipe my Credit Card for any eventual damage during my stay.

Excellent check in, we were allocated a room straight away. Dan, who was on reception, then rang us after 15 minutes to see if everything was okay. Clean and tidy Room, totally perfect for our weekend away with tea and coffee facilities plus iron/board.. Literally 3 mins walk to Earls Court tube, M and S food Hall 2 mins walk away, with hotel situated in a very quite area. No faults whatsoever.

I was looking for a base for a weekend in London with my daughter, and this was ideal. 5 mins walk from Earls Court tube and easy connections for theatre land, the museums, London eye etc. all within a 15 minute tube journey. We received email confirmation immediately upon booking letting us know about the refurbishment work being carried out, but we were visiting at the weekend and this wasn't an issue for us. Not having breakfast available at the hotel wasn't an issue either, as there are lots of places within a couple of minutes walk. Reception staff were fabulous; friendly and welcoming and made a big difference to our visit by being flexible with looking after our cases whilst we went to the theatre. Room was good, comfy beds, good shower and air conditioning.

We stayed in this hotel last minute on a train strike day. Knowing a few Best Western hotels I thought I'd pay a little more for a bit of luxury. What a disappointment. Firstly, we walked past twice as there is no signage. the building is completely obscured by scaffolding. The booking gave NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION that we were staying at a building site. There was also nothing saying it was only accessible by stairs which I struggled with as a disabled traveller. There was a max 3person lift inside. Boarded up doorways and walls greeted us everywhere . Our room was so small. It's completely inaccessible for anyone larger than a 36"waist. First its freezing (complaint made) we used an electric radiator from under the desk to warm the room on the entryway is the toilet and shower room on the right and a wardrobe on the left. To use the toilet I needed to enter the tiny corner shower to close the door to then sit on the toilet. Theres dust everywhere and the shower unit hs a broken lever. The wardrobe door hit the main door closer before it was halfway open. Main room. First I see the window. With scaffolding veiw. I closed the curtains. The pelmet top is loose. The desk is OK, but my thigh hit the drawer before I was sat comfortably at it. Tea/coffee station. There was no tea (complaint made) pack of 2 biscuits. Nescafe sugar and canderel sachet. The bed. It got points for comfort. It was flush against the wall so no bedside offering my side. There is a light switch. Said switch doesn't appear to operate anything. Above my head it the air con. Very noisily buzzing and whirring. Complaint made. The side with a bedside offering has a torn lamp shade. No plug or USB offering in reach. We made our complaint before we left for dinner. Upon return the receptionist said she had looked at the noise and it was the AC. She would move us rooms but they're full. She also changed the settings so the room wasn't so cold. She did all she could (except for the tea but that minor). Sleep was irrattic as I was woken by the ac buzz repeatedly. A shame as the bed was the only good part of the room.

We stayed in the hotel in late July and the staff were kind enough to let us check in early, which we appreciated due to the large amount of luggage we had. The location was right near the underground and tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was a decent size although the toilet was a bit cramped between the wall and the sink as well as the shower temperature would fluctuate even when it was at a colder setting. The only major complaint we had was that the air conditioning unit stopped working by the time we came from our day out from at least 10pm onwards. The staff said it was an issue that had to be sorted out the following morning so our sleep was quite poor as a result of this. We had to prop open the window due to it wanting to close. Would like to give the hotel another try in the future once renovations are completed

A great place, centrally located, a 20 minute walk from the Kensington Garden. Clean and well kept, very efficient air-conditioning. 5 minute walk from the Underground that takes you directly to Heathrow as well as city center. Plenty of restaurants around. Quiet. Wonderful and helpful staff. I certainly recommend it.

Hotel is under going somewhat noisy renovations and is also not currently offering breakfast . The staff were helpful in resolving a AC problem … mich appreciated. I believe that the hotel management should have advised us of the issues in advance so we could have considered alternatives

Building work is taking place and the hotel was covered in scaffolding, which we were not aware of and which made the room dark. On the plus side once the work finished on Friday it was quiet as they don't work at weekends., so it did not affect us. The room was clean with plenty of toiletries and tea and coffee. Although we had paid a b&b rate this was not available due to the building work, however arrangements had been made with a hotel across the road to have a continental breakfast there. The staff are lovely and helpful and the hotel is in a great location only 2 mins walk from the tube station. It would have been nice if notice was given of the works taking place rather than finding out on arrival.

We booked in 2020 but due to covid could not visit until now. We were asked to pay an additional £80 to rebook for june 2022 making it £171 per night! We arrived to a temporary reception (to a lukewarm welcome) and found huge renovation worksl going on which we had not been informed of. This meant a lot of noise on the Thursday/Friday. We were told all guests had been told by email and given the option to cancel! We did not receive any email. The hotel had no restaurant available so the full English/continental breakfast we paid for was not available at our hotel. Instead we had to go across the road to another hotel where only continental was available. This was inconvenient but luckily the Mowbray Court was a lovely hotel with friendly staff, but we had paid for a full breakfast, not just continental. Our room was clean but small and in need of refurbishment. It was too hot and the aircon was poor. Our view from the window was a small garden containing 30 new toilets for the refurbishment. The staff at the hotel were not friendly or helpful. We asked to speak to the manager but were told they were off sick! When we went back to collect our cases after checking out we were not allowed to use the toilet. We paid £171 per night and feel that this was very expensive as we had no facilities and did not receive the breakfast we paid for. The room we had was far inferior to that on the website and the staff couldn't have cared less at our disappointment! We heard several other guests complaining too and nothing was done to help them either! We would never book this or any other Best Western hotel again as we feel deceived by the website and photos. We were asked to pay extra when we changed the date and in the end received far less than promised.

Laura was very helpful even before I arrived. Mika and the night manager were very pleasant to talk to. Quick walk to several useful shops and restaurants. Tube is also very close. Great location and easy to get around to anywhere. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

The hotel is located very close to the Earls Court Tube Station which is convenient. However there were maintenance/building works in progress, which we were not informed about. The room was as expected but allocated on the lower ground floor - which was not so great.

Everyone was kind and helpful. I'm not used to staying at hotels, and the staff were very patient with my questions. Thank-you so much for the help and the stay. The bed was also amazingly comfortable.

Friendly staff, very welcoming, clean. Close to underground. A bar would have been nice, but we knew that it didn't have one so no complaints. Plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants close by that would suit a variety of budgets.

A couple of minutes from the Earl's Court station this hotel is a perfect place to explore this amazing city (Queen of the cities around the globe - if I'm permited to say that :) ). (if you are a Dr Who fan like we are, don't forget to check the Police Box righ in front of the station's entrance! :) ) Very quiet, generally very well equiped, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very kind with us. Supermarket about 100 metres, three great pubs about 200 metres from the hotel, everything else can be reached via the Tube within 5-30 mins! Only negative feedback coming to my mind are the following: we got a basemant room (not that bad, window was to the small back garden), and there was a little suspicious odor in the room, I guess that was mainly because the carpet right before the bathroom was a bit wet when we checked in to the room (might be the previous guest's unusual bathing habbits, who knows..)

The Boltons Best Western is ideally located for tube travel around London. It is clean, comfortable, quiet, and modern with a hearty breakfast that is a real bargain. Its greatest asset is its super friendly, helpful staff -- especially Mika at the front desk. I won't stay anywhere else in London.

The hotel was comfortable in a quiet street but also very close to Earls' Court underground station, some restaurants, Boots, M&S. A good location from which to explore London. I didn't take breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that but the staff were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel was ideally situated for a trip abroad via Heathrow airport The day before I also got my COVID test done at a testing centre within walking distance of the hotel Staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean and comfortable

We stayed here for 4 nights in a double room with breakfast included. The location of the hotel is excellent for the tube station and transport in to London. Our room was lovely, en suite, immaculately clean and of a very good specification. There were tea and coffee making facilities, tv and shower gels and shampoo included. The staff are great, friendly and efficient. The breakfast room is immaculate and the breakfast was good, whether you want the buffet cooked breakfast or cereals, toast and fruit. A very nice range. I would highly recommend Bolton's hotel. Fantastic value for money. Worthy of 5 stars.

Clean and spacious room. We booked the family room and it was exactly as described in the booking.com app. Great location for first time visitors, lots of restaurants/dining options around. If not for the broken shower head, i would have given a 5 star rating.

I stayed 2 nights whilst in business and had a room on the 3rd floor. You couldn't swing a cat in there to say the least, the TV was unwatchable due to the positioning, dated, thread bare carpet, wardrobes you couldn't full open (due to the room door being so close). Bathroom was clean enough t but shower cubicle was small (I'm not a big person). I returned after my first night stay at 5pm to find the room not serviced yet and was asked if I still wanted it cleaning. Breakfast was ok, the ‘hot' food was cold but edible. A very average stay, but not disastrous.

I stayed at this hotel with my sister for 2 nights at the end of feb. It's in a great location about 2 minutes walk from Earl's Court station. The staff were friendly on checkin and on check out too, allowing us to leave our bags with them until our train later that evening. The shower was very powerful and warm and took less than a few minutes to heat up which was nice! The Wi-Fi was fast and the tv was good quality. The only things I would say that needed some improvement was the toilet flush - you needed to press it twice in order for it to flush fully or press and hold. And another thing was the fan in the bathroom made a loud noise for a while whenever the light was turned on.

It is an easy to find hotel in Kensington. A bit far from liveliness of Soho, but good for a business trip. The staff was nice, though a bit confused, and mixed a few things ( but nothing serious to complain). The room was clean- basic, reasonable size for london ( they are all tiny), my only concern was it was underground with no proper window. Breakfast was also basic, but good enough.

Booked an executive double, was given a tiny, tatty and basic room. Wouldn't mind if they had been honest and said they didn't have one available and reduced the price to reflect that… they didn't! Disappointing.

Great hotel in a lovely area which is amazing to be walked around. The neighbourhood is communicative and has all of the required transportation (in particular Earl's Court Underground Station). The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and cosy. The staff of the hotel is very polite and helpful.

My mum and I stayed at the Best Western The Boltons in London and we have nothing but wonderful things to say. We received exceptional service and help during the whole stay. I fell very sick suddenly and the hotel provided a doctor right away and helped call an ambulance. They all continued to check on me and my mum to make sure we were okay. I did not expect to be so well taken care of by a hotel who obviously has lots of other costumers, but we were treated with the most professional service at all times which made us feel very safe and comfortable. Other things about the hotel that we really liked was: great breakfast served each morning with lots of options such as different types of bread, cereals, typical British breakfast, jams/marmalades, fruits, juices, coffee etc. The room and public areas were all very clean. Comfortable beds. Coffee/ tea in the room. Hairdryer in room. Big TV with lots of channels. Shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. Hotel located central with just 3 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. To sum it up: Staff: 10/10 Hotel room: 10/10 Breakfast: 10/10 Area/ location: 10/10 Overall score: 10/10 I will recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely stay at the Best Western The Boltons many times. If you want a hotel with outstanding service and staff, then you've found the right hotel.

It got everything we need for the trip. The location is great, 5 min walk from Earl's Court station. Wifi fast and stable. It's very clean and comfortable. Free water kettle, instant coffee, tea bags.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found the staff efficient and friendly. The breakfast is self service with loads of choices. Ask for a room at the rear if you don't want to be disturbed with the noisy street. The room was clean, the shower was amazing - powerful and hot! Comfortable bed. There are local pubs and restaurants to use and it's convenient for public transport links. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a very quiet street although close to the tube station. It was very clean and tidy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with lovely pillows. The reception staff were courteous and efficient and answered all my queries.

Fine hotel in a typical London lane, just right around the corner of Earl's Court Station. Easy to reach when flying in. Small but comfortable room, offering everything I needed for those 2 days. There a water kettle and coffee and tea in the room. Extended breakfast choises, good quality. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I honestly cannot think of anything negative.

Do not be fooled by the Best Western branding! This is an independently run hell hole in a great location. Grossly under staffed grossly over used and very poorly maintained. It's mostly booked by tourists on short stays who pay upfront to booking platforms and are stuck because they can't get a refund. The place is dirty and poorly maintained. Avoid at all costs. Most of the positive reviews are highly suspicious and from contributors who only review this hell hole. AVOID.

a few weeks ago i was originally booked into the Easyhotel at Kensington but due to unforeseen reasons i was upgraded to this hotel. And it was an upgrade!, clean and spacious rooms, up to date furniture and fittings and a space age bathroom. Many thanks to the meet and greet, cleaners and other staff.

The location is central and a lot of options for travel around London. It's close to shops and restaurants hence lots of varieties. The room was clean and the amenities were great. The Front Desk team were amazing. Definitely recommend

If you read the reviews you might be apprehensive about booking here but don't be it's a excellent hotel . It's staff can't do enough for you the room was quiet and the bed was clean and comfortable the shower was hot and there were nice clean fresh towels all in i enjoyed my short stay here and will come back .

During stay, I was so satisfied with all the things. Kind staffs and clean room condition. Most of all, I stayed very comfortable in a quiet atmosphere.Also,It is very close to tube station. I can easily go somewhere.

When walking into the main entrance staff were friendly and the reception area was clean and looked modern. We requested a room with two single beds but got given a double room. Went back to reception who then changed our room. Rooms are very small and you feel a bit chlosterphobic as a there is a lot in the rooms. Also the corridors are narrow and there is a very small lift to use. I would say not suitable at all for anyone that requires a wheelchair or aid for walking. Everything inside the hotel seems dated and well used. Lots of stains on the seat and sofa in the room. Walls in the room and around the hotel have been patched up and temporarily fixed. We thought we didn't have any tea and coffee facilities so ended up traipsing up and down the stairs to the lounge to get a cup of tea but later on found our tray with the kettle and cups etc all on a shelf tucked away in the wardrobe! All night long we heard banging of doors people walking above us and other guests and staff talking until just gone 4.30am so we didn't get any sleep. We finally left the room at 06.00am as we had had enough. I got this room on a flash sale that Best Western were doing but still would not have paid the money I did to stay let alone paying full price!

Stay was booked for last year. Covid put a stop to it. Rearranged for New Year. Booking is for an executive double. Want to change it to a twin. For this ‘privilege' they are wanting an extra £400… an absolute joke Daylight robbery??

Booked to stay for 2 nights but I stayed for 1 while I had an operation at royal marsten so my husband could be near by. We were put on ground floor which was noisy when other guests walking through and door banging. Bedroom walls were dirty, pillows were flat and foam inside was separated and bathroom wasn't functional - bath had no plug and full of hair, shower head wouldn't say up just felt dirty. Will not be returning

The hotel has a great location, near underground, restaurants and market. The room was nice and confortable for a short stay and the breakfast was quite good. The internet was fast. All the staff was very kind.

We just came back from a 3 nights stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice but the rooms are very small and also in an urgent need of renovation. They don't look at all like in the pictures. The first room that we were given was stinking of cigarettes, the second one was better but the carpet and the walls were dirty. Also the shower was cold. We had to wait 30 minutes for the water to warm up a little bit in the evening. One morning I had the water running for an hour and was still cold. I don't think I would come back here.

Great location near Earl's Court tube station and some good restaurants, really friendly staff, roof was very clean with good facilities. Only negative is room window would not open so room was very warm and the food at breakfast was very cold, but I would definitely stay here again

Location wise this is good though old rooms, yellowish walls and too small to Move. They also don't replace your covers if you stay long. We were transferred to this hotel saying that we are upgraded but I felt that it's just the same. There's no upgraded feeling. Very near to train station and kind staffs.

Much delayed trip with friends for a couple of days in London. Hotel is stones throw fron Earl's court tube in a quiet side street, we didn't notice traffic noise. we all slept like logs. perfect location for all our needs. comfy beds, good shower.

We stayed here for a 4 night mini break we had a lot of luggage and the second night we were offered a room change to accommodate us better. Beds were very comfortable rooms ery clean and tidy. Staff amazing and very helpful. Would absolutely recommend this hotel 1 min walk away from earls court tubestation ideal for our missions in and around London. I arrived late and was assisted by Adam who was fantastic. Adam booked me in and helped me with my bags. Nothing was too much. He was very kind. I so appreciated after having a long day traveling. Breakfast was good too. Staff are friendly. The rooms are really in need of upgrading The carports are awful dirty. The curtains are tatty and the air-conditioner in my room. sounded like a jet engine taking off every 20 mins. My duvet smelled of perspiration Just hope the rooms will upgraded soon.

Hi, tbh our experience of the hotel is reasonable. Clean, tidy and a good location- not too far from the tube station. Reading previous reviews left us worried prior, however upon arrival we found it not to be that bad... Yes, there are some flats nearby where people sit and socialise but it's not intimidating by any means and the road well lit. FYI- There are a couple of good pubs and a fab fruit stall at the end of the road. The type of building for the era means that it was not purpose built, therefore it is what it is - a good place to rest your head and springboard across London. The room was fresh, linen clean and no issues on the ground floor with hot water. Reception staff are not empowered and consequently, unable to may some of the basic decisions to make your stay more inviting. That said, breakfast was basic but good and fully accessible allowing quick transition. The hotel kindly held our bags upon departure to free up the room and Adam offered a quick complimentary coffee when we collected then later in the day. He seems to be the more engaging of the reception crew? All in all, no issues from a family of 3 - value for money.

Although the rooms are small in thus budget priced hotel, the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. It's two minutes from Earls Court Station, the breakfast buffet includes smoked salmon, and the staff make every effort to provide good service.

Where to begin? Under the trading standards act the photo on the website is a blatant flouting of the law! Whilst the receptionist was very pleasant and apologetic once the following points were raised - even for a very reasonable 60 notes: In the heart of London - as a best western (i.e. a branded hotel); some sort of standards are expected. In summary: Lights flickering in the room - then not working. The system at the back of the loo had a giant crack and smashed ceramic on the floor resultantly. A turbo jet engine (extractor) fan emitting noise at early o'clock likening the effect of what it must be like as a stowaway under the engine of an HGV! Stains everything, especially the carpet. The shower was either roasting or freezing on a setting that the local fire brigade would be jealous of. The room and especially the corridor reeks of stale tobacco. Old and stinking curtain and net curtain. No tea or coffee making facilities. ….There was one huge positive though…a giant exit door….

We arrived at the hotel at noon and were told that our rooms would be ready at 2 so we left our luggage at the hotel and came back a little after 2 and the rooms still weren't ready. We waited a little bit and then we were shown the first room. We were horrified, the rooms were in the basement and the elevator was so small only one person at a time could go in or it would get stuck. One of the rooms had a couch so dirty and stained we could not even sit in it, the chair was the same. Window was blocked from a wall outside and dust was everywhere. Floor was stained and dirty. The bed was big and comfortable but the beddings had lipstick and mascara stains, we almost puked. The desk had sticky stains from someone's drink. The other room was a bit cleaner but window was unable to open and the hotel's trash was all sitting outside the window. There were crisps on the floor from previous guests and the floor had clearly not been cleaned. We were offered other rooms upstairs after we complained but they were so small we almost couldn't fit in them so we decided to stay in the basement for one night and wait to get the bigger rooms upstairs the day after, because we paid for bigger rooms and a view. The next day we got our new rooms upstairs and they were significantly smaller than the ones in the basement and the showers were horrible, to hot or to cold and water pressure so weak it almost couldn't get our hair wet. The shampoo was also not as advertised. We also had no electricity one morning and had to gather all our stuff in the dark. They gave us free breakfast one morning for our troubles which was nice. The staff was clearly used to these complaints and we were not the only guests that were unhappy.

Dirty rooms probably due to being shut for a year or so wasn't on the pictures that booking.com show rude staff chucked me out because I complained booking.com said breakfast was £7.50 the hotel said ,,£12.50 then said if I had booked the night before it was £10 I complained about the room they chucked me out I wouldn't recommend this hotel

Best hotel ever. Great breakfast, comfortable bed. lovely helpful staff. I will come back every time I visit London. Really recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Kensington. I will be back ! Thanks a lot for your hospitality. Truly appreciated.

Lovely clean beds and room excellent staff and service nothing was too much trouble very central to Earl's Court Tube Station nice area plenty of places to eat would definitely stay again nice and peaceful

When we arrived at the Best Western Boltons Hotel, we were greeted by Mika, who was very happy and welcoming. Check in was very swift and efficient. We were on the 4th floor but there is a lift, very necessary. When we got to the 4th floor, the lift was straight out to another door to the rooms with the stairs to one side. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean, nicely tiled, and the shower unit a good accommodating size. The shower was easy to control with plenty of water pressure. The room looked over the back of the property to the backs of others, but it was a nice outlook with trees and back gardens. The window in the room appeared to be jammed, and there was a crack in the glass. I did manage to get it closed at night, but it was a bit sticky. There was no traffic noise at night it was much quieter than I expected for London. I did have to turn off the air con though as it was noisy. Breakfast was very nice, although the breakfast room is very small and a bit tight if everyone came down at once they wouldn't be able to all be seated. Good selection of English and Continental for breakfast. Overall we had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again at this Hotel. It's location, 5 minutes walk from Earls Court underground is perfect for esy commute to anywhere in London.

Clean centrally located property with helpful staff. Good property with basic amenities. We would recommend this property. Our stay was comfortable. Lift small, some bathrooms very small. Staff was friendly and very helpful and courteous.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights this weekend in a twin room and we had a fantastic break. Location was perfect for a spot of shopping and sightseeing and very easy to get to Alexandra Palace for a show on Saturday evening. Hotel is well located just a short walk from Earls Court Station. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean but due to the shape of it one side of the bed is against a wall so a little difficult to get in to! There wasn't a mirror near the socket for the hairdryer so not easy when drying hair. The bathroom was modern and clean.

I chose to stay at The Boltons because of its great location: I was not disappointed. Access to museums, art galleries, theatres and great shopping opportunities is good. During my stay all of the hotel's staff were warm, friendly and hospitable, their service exceeding my expectations. The atmosphere here is upbeat and positive and I enjoyed my stay immensely.

All good thanks just arrived home after a great break in london , the staff were friendly and always had a smile for us leaving and returning the hotel that always helps in my opinion. Breakfast was fantastic honestly loved it. If I had to be picky our room could have done with a wee freshen up fresh paint on the lighter walls and new sealant round the shower but room itself was clean and suited us fine as all we were doing was sleeping in it . Perfect location almost next door to the tube. Would we come back Dan right we would well priced as well . Thank you all so much Robert and Beth Anderson x

After doing the usual search for hotels for a 2 night stay i found the fantastic deal on offer at The Boltons (£134 b+b). Great location only minutes away from Earls Court tube station. Plenty of pubs, shops, takeaways nearby for any emergency needs. Why wouldn't you stop here. Arrived early and surprisingly got checked in no problem. Got allocated a small room which would be fine for an overnight stay but for a two night break I preferred a bigger room with a bath as I love a soak after a day shopping. Hotel said because we had gone out for the day we could swap rooms the next day which was fine with us. Hotel is very nice and clean throughout. Had a lovely fresh feel about it. Only a one person small lift is available for those who struggle with stairs. Small room is very similar to most in built up suburb London but at least this room had a lovely big window to open plus air con if needed. Bigger room great and better for longer stays with the addition of a bath if needed. Breakfast was buffet style with the usual choice of cereal, toast and all your cooked favourites. Really tasty and happy with the breakfast service provided. At this cost I would consider this hotel evetytime I stop in London.

The room (107) was very small. For a family room sleeping 3 people, the space was inadequate. The breakfast was served between 8am and 10am and we think that this should be changed to 7.30am to 9.30am.

the hotel was reasonably priced for a London hotel, the breakfast was plentiful and all areas appeared clean the décor was tired and could do with a refresh, but overall I would stay again if I was in the area

We come to stay here after looking at many different hotels for a family of 5. Our room was very clean and breackfast was really good with lots to pick from. We had 3 small children with us so are always careful with where we chose to stay but this was perfect for us. We would come back and stay here again.

This trip was booked after a bad experience at a previous hotel, I booked Best Western as I had previously stayed in Oban and knew them by reputation. My room was on the first floor although small it was comfortable with a double bed and a window which could be opened. The only thing not quite right was the lighting as there was no light above the bed. The bedside spotlight was not working and could not be fixed during my stay as the unit needed replacing. Bed was comfortable with thick and thin pillows and WiFi was always there. Bathroom was modern with an easy to use shower plus free bodywash and shampoo. I imagine this hotel is a cheaper alternative to a Heathrow hotel as Earls Court underground is a short distance away. Breakfast was a £10 extra if your booking was with Booking.com but free if booked direct with Best Western which I received when I booked two extra nights. A pleasant surprise was a serve yourself Breakfast which unexpected during the pandemic. Cost seams to be about £90 and I would like to thank the Housekeeper who changed my bed when necessary. Pleasant helpful staff on reception.

I had to find a replacement accommodation at the last minutes for my parents who are finally able to visit their new born granddaughter. Best Western came to my mind straight away. We have been extremely lucky to meet Adam at the front desk. He has been the most efficient, professional and pleasant person with the best understanding of the specific situation as it was late and my mother extremely tired. We couldn't except any better service from him. Big plus he speaks French and my parents don't speak much English! We will definitely direct our friends who visit London to the Best Western The Boltons Kensington, without any hesitation. My parents already spent 3 nights there (out of 11) and they really are enjoying their stay very much! Thanks to Adam and the all team. Breakfast is excellent as well and most of all the rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious. Top location. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

I stayed at the hotel for one night and the location is excellent, just around the corner from Earls Court tube station. Upon check in, I was greeted by Pascal who was helpful. A cooked breakfast was on offer which was lovely. Check out was quick. I would stay again at this hotel, however, check in staff needs to be aware of the benefits for Elite members.

I had a very good experience here with a perfect room and perfect staff. Good location near verything with 1 min walk. This experience was really something special and i recommend everyone to stay here. I especially want to thank the recptionist Adam for being very professional with the service and guidence for me. I stayed here for business and booked a single room. It was small, as expected but extremely clean and comfortable. Great internet connection, nice big TV with lots of channels. Staff were very friendly and welcoming - highlight was the working aircon in my room - I stayed during a heatwave and it was lovely.

Great hotel. Room was on the small side but adequate. Very good value for money and a great choice for buffet breakfast, continental, full English, toast etc. Location was great for the West of London (near Earl's Court) some of the other hotels in the same street are a little run down which is a pity. Overall, this is a good hotel with good staff.

A very spacious double room located on the lower level with private bathroom, shower, a medium-sized closet and business desk. It comes with a large flat-screen TV also, aligned perfectly for late-night movies. Check-in was smooth sailing as was check-out. I find the jazzy background music in particular quite soothing; a very catering and thoughtful touch indeed. Perhaps due to the level of which the room had been situated, the shower, to my surprise had served as a hang-out place for a handful of flying ants. No biggie, a quick phone call to reception and front desk promptly resolved the issue. Did I mention the great neighbor next door who help ensure I was up for the morning flight? He/she really did, thank you! Best Western is a great choice for any travelers, thank you so much!

Nice clean and cosy single room with tall ceiling and window, comfy bed and pillows and a great sized tv on the wall. Breakfast was buffet style, continental and English, with a great selection and a great coffee machine!

I've had bumpy two days and totally mixed up my reservation dates. Moreover, I did not notify the hotel about a late check-in. However, when I arrived at 5am, Adam was kind and professional and checked me in. Thank you Best Western team and & Adam, you helped me a lot. Best, Peter

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights in June. The hotel really is a gem! It's in a brilliant location with Earl's Court tube station a 5min walk away. We stayed in room 306, it was very lovely room, plenty big enough with twin very comfy beds. Very clean too, loved the bathroom! All the staff were so helpful and very friendly, especially the lovely lady that checked us in and out. Breakfast was great too! We will definitely go back!!

We can recommend the hotel to anyone, it was a privilidge to stay there, under the present covid conditions, all our needs were catered for, from an attentive and most courteous staff.. We would most happily stay at this hotel again in the future.

I booked a single room, so knew the room would be pretty small. The bed was really comfy. I was impressed that there was an iron and ironing board in the room rather than needing to go ask to borrow one. There was also a safe in the wardrobe which was a really nice surprise. Took me a while to spot that the kettle/tea tray was inside the wardrobe, and there were no mugs/ glasses to drink from at all. I would definitely stay again. The price was really good and it is minutes round the corner from Earl's Court Station

The best thing about this hotel is the location. 20min walk to Hyde park, quite streets of Kensington, small wine shops and cozy restaurants. I lived on the 4th floor, it was quite hot there because it is right under the roof which would get really hot over the day. My room was super small, I struggled to fit my luggage there and had to block the door with it. However, I felt that small room is much cozier, so I did not request a new one. I am sure that you ask for a different room, staff would fulfill your request. In some other reviews I have read that people say that it can be noisy from the street. Well, I bet that it is hard to find an absolutely quite place in central London. Overall, it was not loud, especially with a closed window. Bathroom was tidy and had everything hat a guest might need: towels, shampoo and shower gel, soap. Staff was super friendly and available at the reception 24h a day. One slightly dissapointing thing is that because of the corona policies, hotel does not clean the rooms. You can request to change your towels or a bin, but not cleaning the room. This might be a problem for longer stays. Note for travelers: it is super easy to get to Heathrow from this location. At busiest time, it is a 30min taxi ride. Also, if you end up staying here, have a lunch at San Pietro because this place became a highlight of my trip. This is a friendly Italian place where they cook seafood (extremely delicious).

I have to stay overnight in London each month for work purposes. This hotel is great value for money, located in a very nice area and the hotel staff are always very friendly, rooms are clean and spacious and the wifi is reliable (this is important as It allows me to stay connected for work emails). I would highly recommend using this hotel.

Staff were friendly and considerable and keen to make my two-night stay as comfortable as possible. Didn't have a lot interaction with room service / breakfast due to social distancing etc. but overall room was clean & cosy and had everything. Needless to say a lot about the convenient location.

I was welcomed at the hotel by a very friendly gentelman called Adam, he was very polite and professional willing to help me if I needed. The room was very comfortable, the view was great and the location amazing. I would defenitly book again.

I booked best western the boltons hotel gron 8th May till 12th May. It was a good time. Paula and Adam were quite friendly and helpful. The only thing that made me rate 4 out of 5 was I booked the room and paid for it online. The reservation and payment was already done before arrival. So there has to be a room on my arrival. But I was told that there is no room available. And will be available the next morning. And till the next day, I had to stay in a room at lower ground level. It was not clean at all. And hidden and no sunlight. So it was very cold almost freezing. But Paula helped me next day with all the shifting and stuff to ankther room the very next day. And it was good. Adam was also friendly and helping. His service is very good and quick as well. I would rate him and Paula with 5* for their hospitality. Overall it was a good time

Not had much experience with Best Western so was not sure what to expect from this stay for business. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations, the staff who went out of their way to check everything was OK with my stay, the room which was clean, and the bed was so comfortable I slept solidly all night. A nice shower in the morning along with a Covid Secure breakfast and I was set for the day. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope I can stay again in the not too distant future. Everyone staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, what a great find.

I stayed here for 1night as a key worker and was extremely impressed by all aspects of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you As a diamond select member I was upgraded to a executive double room which was large and spacious with an nespresso coffee machine and large screen TVs The bed was large and comfortable and in the morning had a full English breakfast served in the COVID friendly dining room. I will reurn

The staff were very kind, the rooms were very nice and clean, the hotel is also very close to the Underground and is in a very accessible spot to go around London. For the price of stay, the quality of service received is phenomenal!

As I was staying for 10 days & there was a vacant room, they upgraded me for free! Besides that, the neighbourhood was extremely quiet & peaceful. Hotel staff - Mika in particular - were extremely helpful. They kept me informed whenever delivery packages arrived at reception, and kept me well-supplied with amenities (soap, etc.). The hotel also had a daily subscription to the Financial Times, which is always pleasant to have.

The best place to stay in Central London. The reception team is very friendly and they will help you with all your requests. I chose option with breakfast and I think that was a great idea. The breakfast is prepared when you come in and it is a big portion of English Breakfast with some juice,tea or coffee. It's delicious. Rooms are clean and spacious comparing to other hotels nearby. Also the hotel offers you great prices for your stay.

Hotel is lovely and very welcoming staff, everyone wants to help and look after from arrival until departure. The room 106 was lovely and had all what i needed, clean and quiet. I needed some help with directions and they printed me the map and explained how to get there by best road, Thank you and I will visit again soon

All is good except it's a too-small room and the lift doesn't work. Anyway, the location is just perfect, close to M&S and the underground station. The room is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helped us carry the large luggage as the lift didn't work.

The hotel was alright! Bed very comfortable! There was no issues except some insects coming from the shower drain. Adam at the reception was very polite, welcoming and helpful. If I find a deal again, I would stay again but opting for a non LG room but one with a balcony maybe.

A terrible place. The staff on reception just do not care about customers or customer service. They feel it is more important for them to prove themselves right even though they are and were wrong. The lady on reception will just talk over you while you are explaining the issues as a customer sees them. Her behaviour was just down right terrible and very very rude. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. Do yourself a favour and stay in another hotel.

Upon arrival we were greeted pleasantly by who I think is the manager. She allocated us a room in the basement as the lift was not working, we had been in the room 10 minutes and received a phone call to make sure we were happy with the room, which we were, however we did requested to be moved up to a higher floor. She allocated us a room on the third floor happily and we were very happy with this service. As we left to go out we asked the manager wether we could leave our bags in the reception the next day as we had a day out in london planned. She said this was absolutely fine, and I could even see someone else's suitcases left there. The next day we went down to check out early at around 9am, (checkout is 11am). There was another women on the desk at this point who told us that due to Covid they were no longer allowing people to leave bags, which is fair enough, but the previous day we were told that would be fine. She advised us that the only way to leave our bags would be to pay for late checkout which was £10 an hour after 11am. I therefore asked her if she could contact the manager (who had told us the day before it was ok to leave our bags) she stated she would do so, in a VERY RUDE manner may I add, and disappeared for 20 minutes. By this point we had to go as we had a breakfast reservation which I was not about to miss because of this vile woman. We went and put the bags back in the room as checkout was not until 11am, and had to come back to collect them after breakfast. Anyway moral of the story, do not book this hotel if you don't want to be carrying your heavy bags all around london for the day. I must add the manager was very pleasant and helpful and provided us with great service, however we were truly disappointed with the way we were treated by the other employee, if she was pleasant in telling us we couldn't have left our bags I would have accepted it however the way she treated her customers was nowhere near acceptable, and disappearing for 20 minutes leaving us waiting in reception is just not on.

There was no issue with the staff, yet the room itself was dusty from the carpet to the bedding itself. There was a bad musky and dusty smell in the room. Only one towel was given for two guests, and when asking for a hand towel I was told they don't have any. The bedside lamp was also not working.

The room was a lot smaller than it looks in the photographs. The phone wasn't working in the room so I informed front desk and the phone never returned after that. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were cleaned, but it would have been nice at least for one day during the stay that the sheets were changed and a refill of coffee/tea/sugars/milks be provided (sadly this wasn't the case). After checking out we discovered that 40 GBP was missing from one bag then discovered 100 USD was taken from another; this was NO mistake on our part at all as this was definitely stolen from our bags and our bags never left the room.

The room 111 was small. Need new lick of paint. The shower door didn't close tight so water leaking when using shower. The staffs were very nice and helpful. If you need extra toilet rolls, milk or clean towel just ask! Also let me have early check in because of my train time arrival and 1 hour late check out because of my daughter had a university online presentation with her Tutor at 11.30am. The hotel is next to the Earl Court tube station 1min walk. In the nice area of London.

We arrived and were checked into room 101. The smell was horrendous so we immediately asked to move. The next room hand no hand soap (even in times of Covid), only 4 squares of loo roll, yellow stains on the window sills, a broken bucket seat which you fell through if you sat on and the shower cubicle had dirt and grime all over the walls which we had to spray off. Air con was like a jet plane and the light from the corridor shone under the door all night. Staff were decent and apologetic. £56 a night definitely reflects the quality... poor. We were also due to pay on arrival but payment was taken out prior to arriving. I asked to be refunded so that I could make payment on an alternative card. Now we have been charged twice with no sign of a refund (yet) - complete disaster!

This was our hotel for our 2nd night in London , was cheaper to stop here than our original hotel. The room was a little cramped and only one window opened so was slightly warm, the air con didn't work either. For me personally I didn't find the bed as comfortable as the first hotel I stayed in but it's just down to personal preference. Good hotel if you just need a cheap night away.

I picked up a single room last minute for about £30 for one night and it was perfect. It was by no means a luxury stay, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room, private bathroom and overall location. It is at most a 5 minute walk from Earl's Court tube station and there a few shops and eateries along the main road that are just as easy to get to. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and some tea was provided in the room when I arrived and the staff called up to ask if there was anything I needed just after I arrived. Check-in and check-out was super easy and there was a lift to take me to my room on the second floor. For the price I paid, I was really pleased with the hotel overall and would definitely recommend it for anyone who is planning a short stay like me!

First the good: Front desk staff (Paula, I believe her name is) was very helpful in selecting a room. This aspect was much better than another hotel we stayed recently one street away. Got a good price on last minute booking during the pandemic, which was a plus. One aspect that international travellers might appreciate is the lift, which although tiny, would at least mean you don't have to lug your suitcases up several flights of stairs. Note that the stairs are pretty steep as you ascend to the upper floors. The location of this hotel is good, right in Earl's court, and a few steps away from an underground station and a Santander cycles station. The not-so-good: The rooms at the Boltons are generally on the small side, from what I hear, this is pretty common in London. The room we were shown first in Lower Ground was really not high enough for if you are tall. Decor is a somewhat bland, something I would call business-neutral. The lounge consists of just a sofa and a few chairs in front of the reception area. However at least you are allowed to sit down. (unlike another place we stayed nearby.) Breakfast area looked nice, but we didn't take the breakfast option. (it would have been £10/person if booked at the hotel. ) Given the choice I'd prefer this hotel to many of the larger chain hotels. My main criticism is that1) this hotel is really not up to the standards of a normal Best Western. Also, I cannot really understand why it has four stars on many of the hotel sites. I would say 2-3 stars is probably about right. Nearby: There are quite a few restaurants nearby, including all the usual fast food places: There are also a few more unusual ones, such a handful of Filipino restaurants. There is a small café with really good coffee called Over Under, and an excellent authentic French bakery / café called Pauls ( with excellent fresh baguette-style sandwiches & pastries). There is an M & S Foodhall about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. If you want to explore further afield, the neighbouring area of Fulham has even more independent restaurants.

I stayed here for two weeks in the middle of the pandemic. The hotel is working with reduced staff but my stay has been excellent nevertheless. The hotel is quite modern, the room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Within walking distance, you have plenty of restaurants and shops, which is quite convenient.

Even though the hotel's located near underground station, it wasn't worth to stay here. The room was on lower ground, it wasn't clean at all. There were some hairs on the bed and lots of spiders every corners of the room (include the bathroom). The bathroom seat was dirty at first that we arrived. The floor which is curtain wasn't clean, there were some dry food waste on the floor and didn't provide any slippers.

Nice rooms, would definitely stay again although the TV appeared to only have the radio stations which was a little annoying, just meant I have to watch a programme on my phone. Nicely located near to Earls Court and West Brompton stations.

Great location in Earls Court, nice pubs and restaurants also very close to the underground. Hotel staff very polite and friendly, check in was quick and painless. Room was small and a bit tired but that was all, and it never spoilt the 2 nights we stayed there. Would definitely book again.

The staff were all very nice, the location just round the corner from the tube is good and for London the prices are not bad at all. 1. The rooms however could do with a good deep clean (Bed was fine and sheets all Fresh) but items left in drawers from previous occupant. 2. Windows didn't look like they had been cleaned in years 3. Shower had a leak 4. Very stained chair in room

Arrived at the hotel and had to call a number to bring someone over to reception, in a quick manner a polite lady came over and took our booking details and got us our key cards quickly. When we got to the room, we were met with a lovely modern double room, with a nice bathroom and decent sized TV. The bed was super comfy and the room in general was perfect for our needs. There was a decent gentleman at the reception that helped us out with plates and exerts toiletries as due to COVID there services were limited which is completely understandable. The location is very good, a stones throw away from Earls Court and about a 20 min walk to South Kensington/Knightsbridge. All in all, I'd would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay again!

I was very pleased to get a late deal here and at a great price. Check was easy and the staff are friendly. The room was for a single traveler but had a great size bed and everything you will need including an iron and board. The hotel is very convenient for Earls Court station and all the amenities including pubs and fast food. Very clean

This was not a 4 star hotel experience, felt like a hostel. there were bugs on my bed, a huge spider in the bathroom, showerhead leaked, sheet had holes, cracking floors, no toilet in the lobby, bathmat disgusting, the windows were so dirty, like they haven't been cleaned for a year. the floor was not properly vacuumed, maybe not at all, cause there was a coffee stick under the desk. The lower ground felt really depressing. got woken up by the fire alarm at 5 am. In shock, at the reception they said: "oh this happens sometimes here", because of shower steam or someone's smoking. OK, they didn't care. we went back and tried to sleep.. same alarm happened that night. The smokers were really rude and annoying. fridge and microwave in lobby for everyone, like a hostel. you'd expect a mini fridge in each room (4*!). I would strongly suggest to properly clean (!) the rooms, before giving them to a customer. Also repair the TV, floor cracking, window opened really really hard and only 10cm...been to better hostels than this and paid a third.

Nice little hotel, perfect location couple minutes walk from underground. Room clean, with air con and flat tv. Perfect value for money, I was only there for one night so can't really judge services. But I would use this place again if I was on area.

Stayed here for two nights. Terrible experience! Rude staff Never anyone in reception Dirty No A/C Found a packet of cigarettes in a draw Stunk as you walked up the stairs to my hotel room! And to top it all off charged me 3x for staying at hotel and refused to give answers on why this was! Charge 1: original booking like you would expect Charge 2: when checked out Charge 3: 4 days later when I was due a refund. No answers no apologies nothing! Would not stay here again!! Would give 0 rating if I could!

Staff did well to manage the hotel in this Covid-19 pandemic. Only issue is that staff never bothered to investigate quest(s) smoking in their rooms which was filtering through to my room and along the hallway as soon as you came out. Staff could also smell it but did nothing about it even when I told them

Stayed here recently for work in central London it's a very nice hotel. Quality of the room was excellent and the staff are all friendly and helpful. I mentioned a flickering light in my room to the lady on reception and she had it seen to within minutes. Nice and clean and quiet too for central London. I would stay here again.

I was due to stay at Best Western The Boltons March 15-21, which I had booked for in January. However, this was the same week when the Covid-19 pandemic was at its worst. As a result, I had to cancel my trip to London as travel bans from Canada were expected to be implemented as well. I called the hotel to ask if I could get a credit to be used later in the year and they said no immediately, and even tried to convince me that they sanitize the place thoroughly. I can understand why the hotel would not give out refunds. However, this pandemic was unprecedented, especially for those who booked early in advance. Similar to the other comments here, I feel that at the very least the hotel could allow us to postpone our stay. Meanwhile, other hotels have been giving out refunds and/or credits. From this experience, I feel that the hotel only cares about the money, and have no concern for the wellbeing of their customers. From this experience, I would not stay at this hotel when I do come back to London.

Great location, very close to the underground stop, this stop gave you great access for transfer plus direct line to the airport. The room was very clean room. Bathroom was a little small and the room was some what warm at night. Overall great place to stay.

Made a booking and 3 hours later the Uk declares pandemic , as to cancel or partial refund and no movement , very bad considering other travelling in group were offered full refund due to the unprecedented situation travellers find themselves in . Disgrace

It was a nice hotel in very nice neighbourhood, despite having the room on the ground level and in front of the building, it was quiet. Very good location, just 2 minutes away from tube station. I can definitely recommend it!

Went for a weekend in London. The hotel was in a great location and very good value. Had a small issue with room on the first night but the staff went out of their way to resolve it so quickly. 10 out of 10 from me.

Comfortable room, shower, bed. Good location for traveling around the city. A straight tube from Hithrow. Good English breakfast, plus continental options, some fruits and croissants. Everything is fresh and tasty.

Nice situation close to Earl's court station, very calm. We were there 4 days for the Valentines, it was perfect. Rooms are a little small but very cozy and clean. We suggest this hotel for a first trip!

I would advise against staying here. The front steps are a water hazard and dangerous, the carpets haven't been finished internally on the stairs, the breakfast room is cramped, the tv doesn't have all free view channels, the old windows rattle.

Our first time in London and it was really lovely. Started with being allowed to check in early. Our room was below street level but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. It was warm and dark when needed. Staff were lovely and very approachable. Breakfast was nice. Plenty to choose from. Rooms are a little small but we worked with that.

The place is good only that the room I've been is a bit noisy as you can hear when people walk around on the top of my room. The place is good and nearby to the central London. the place is nearby the underground station which is accessible and just a walking distance. Lots of nearby restaurants and pubs

I really enjoyed my experience staying at Boldons. The small size of the hotel, the small size of my room appealed to my appreciation of intimacy and minimalism. It had all that was needed for a comfortable stay, clean, quiet and friendly staff.

I was about to become sick because heat ventilation didn't work during the night. The room was in the basement, very small, weak wifi signal with the noise coming from the street. It was just only 2 nights stay and I will remember as the worst part of my London visit.

Hotel was fairly clean on the whole. Room rather small but clean. My partner is dairy intolerant and we noticed a sign displayed at breakfast saying that there was a list of allergy/intolerance foods available so we asked to look at it. The kitchen staff didn't speak much English and just proceeded to pointed to the buffet and said ‘this is all dairy free I think'. This was not helpful in the slightest. I then went to reception and spoke to DAVIDE who also spoke limited English. He took no interest at all and just pretty much ignored the situation. In a more serious case of allergy, someone could be in serious trouble health wise. Not impressed at all!

Nice hotel in good location but the rooms are small and there was quite a lot of noise in our room at the front of the hotel. We were downstairs so part of the noise was from outside but you could also hear noises from adjacent rooms.

The location suited me moe than anything. But overall the hotel is good in many respects. Good dining options close by. The underground being close by really helped. Will stay here again on my next visit.

Great hotel, lovely breakfast and amazing location. Just a minute from the underground and lovely restaurants just around the corner. The only critique is that the rooms are really small, but beautiful and clean which made up for it.

We stay almost 20 years in December in London Earls Court and this hotel was the best one in the Range of middle priced hotels. The staff is very friendly, good beds and a very good breakfast. I think we come back to this hotel in December 2020.

Discussing place you have to pay extra for brekfast on top of the Discussing amount you have paid already They should be ashamed of themselves bathroom was very small shampoo made me ichin all day my skin was very saw and red after the experience.

Good location and price but the hotel did not meet my standards. There was no toilet paper in the room, the phone did not work and the sink was blocked. Can only praise the sweet man who cleaned in the morning and helped me with luggage. If you don't have standards and looking for cheap accommodation in central London, this hotel might be good enough for you.m

Very good location. Everything close but still quiet area. Metro, restaurants, pubs and shops near. Extreamely easy to reach from Heathrow. Breakfastroom not so big, but enough space for everyone and also good service!

Central location, very clean and tidy, comfy bed, bathroom slightly cramped but still good. Great breakfast choice and quality. Overall, surprisingly great value for money, especially in Xmas party season.

Great deal great location great staff!!! Financially the package deal was amazing, the hotel is very clean and has the needed amenities. The staff are friendly and accommodating and best of all, the location is 1 minute away from Earls Court Station. Would recommend!!

I've stayed at two other hotels in the Earl's Court area (The Rockwell and Henley House). All are comparably priced. The issues I had with this hotel- the heat! Though I stayed during December, the hotel room was a hotbox for me. I had to sleep with the window open, which wasn't ideal as there wasn't a screen and an insect flew in one night (I feared other creatures might wander in). The other issue I had- no fridge. The two other aforementioned hotels provide these. This hotel had the best bath towels. The bathroom was updated. I think the square footage for this single was the smallest. Henley House was the most updated - but required I haul a 40+ Lb piece of luggage up a flight of stairs. In the end, I've not found an overall best in this area.

The title says it all. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The breakfast and breakfast room staff, wonderful. The hotel itself had a great location, less than five minutes from the tube.

Excellent location within 5 mins walk of Earls Court Tube station. I was kindly upgraded to a double room on the second floor by a really friendly front of house member. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable with everything you need. The shower was hot good pressure with nice good towels provided. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations with a good choice of continental and cooked options. If i had to be picky i would say the only issue was the noise from the street outside, though i'm not sure the hotel can do a lot about that.

Location of the hotel is very convenient. Close to underground station, shops and cafes. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms are clean but a little bit small. bathroom clean but again a little bit small.

Good price for a one night stay to visit the Royal Albert Hall. Room small but adequate. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Only issue was that the room was very warm but when we opened the window greasy smelling fumes from the kitchen extract filled the room. Maybe the management could look at this issue as it will be more of a problem in summer.

Excellent hotel experience for a very reasonable price. Was in a family room that was pleasant and comfortable. Very close to all amenities and tube station. Very central location and some excellent restaurants nearby.

I was very happy with my one night stay at The Bolton's. It is in a very good position, clean, friendly and with very good breakfast. Lots of place locally to eat. I was given an upgrade to a double room which was nice and the morning receptionist was very helpful working out which buses/tubes I needed!

This is our second stay at this hotel in the past 12 months. It offers great value in a brilliant location. I also have to say that the staff are exceptional: extremely helpful and pleasant. For a short stay in central London

Sometimes you don't know what to quite expect with a hotel you have never used before! This one didn't disappoint, extraordinarily friendly staff from start to finish, room was a fair size and was clean and tidy. En suite was a decent size! Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. All in all a very good stay, would definitely come back again. Many thanks

Overall ok! Breakfast is SMALL but tasty. I didnt like to stay at the lower ground floor, it was very cold and i could see the rubbish men throwing and collecting stuff rigth outside my window. The Shower head was so strong that was spraying water everywhere and it was difficult to control. Not ideal for the price i paid. However want to thank IEVA and the other blonde Manager for being so caring with me. I appreciated. The Italian guy who works at the reception, Raffaele, is very professional even tho we are both ITalians and i have no clue why he was talking to me in English when i was talking in Italian to him, but he has been very polite. If i come back, i will kindly ask for a different room. but THANX AGAIN for the great customer care

I stayed at this hotel during the height of the July heatwave and entered my room to find the air conditioning wasn't working. I reported the matter straight away and the receptionist said an engineer had already been called. There were no other rooms available that night but she gave me a couple of fans and advised me to pack my case when I went out the next day and the staff would move my things. I came back to the hotel the following evening and my case had been moved to a beautifully cool room! The staff I dealt with seemed genuinely concerned with the issue and could not have handled the situation any better. My room was well appointed with good storage space along with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also well fitted and had a powerful shower. The hotel has an excellent location; just a couple of minutes walk from Earls Court Station and a great range of amenities. Given the staff, location and value for money, this is a hotel I would stay at again when visiting the area.

The hotel was ok, not very friedly staff and didnt engage very well. I had the Lower Ground room and could hear people above, below and street noise. The room smelled of damp and very small. The only positive, the price wasnt bad for the area.

The hotel is right around the corner from the subway (Earls Court) so a quick 2 minute walk. Good pubs, restaurants and markets within a 2-3 block area. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and helpful

We arrived exhausted in the evening but perked up with the very warm welcome and support that we received from Ieva Birstonaite, the manager. The breakfast was solid, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable (could use a bit of touch up paint) and the lobby area was a good place to be to wait for fellow travelers and get London tips from the staff. We would stay here again when in London, especially due to the support and welcoming attitude of all the staff we met. And, the elevator was quite handy for the heavy luggage.

Stayed for one night. Small hotel but friendly staff, rooms very clean. We had a family room which was a decent size. The breakfast room is a little small but breakfast was good. Very close to Earls Court tube station which is just round the corner so very handy for travel on the tube.

The hotel is close to the underground. The rooms are quite small, but we did like the hotel. The staff were kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay close to the underground and the city. It is only a short trip with the underground to the city, and to the underground with different lines!

I needed to check in early, and the staff were really helpful, got me into a cleaned room very fast. The place is safe, clean, comfortable and gracious. And they let me leave my luggage there after I had checked out so I could go to Oxford and come back without having to lug it around. They are super nice. And the location is excellent - lots of great restaurants right in the neighborhood, and Earls Court Undergound is right there. One thing - I found the room temperature really hot and stuffy, and it could only be turned down from reception (you have to call to ask) but apparently it can only be turned down 1 or 2 degrees or so, and it's not clear for how long the request applies. Surprising because outside it was cool and nice - would have been great to be able to open a window. My only complaint is that the room was way too warm for me. Otherwise - a great place.

My stay at this hotel was great. It is in a location where it is near the tube and walking distance to places to see. Breakfast was nice, except it is the same everyday, could do with a little bit of variety. The room was cozy and clean. It was really good. I had an attic like room so I had a view outside and I liked that. The staff were really friendly, nice and helpful. Except on the last day, I requested to extend for 2 hours which had a fee for GBP10/hour that was ok. The but is, between10am to 2pm while i was resting before I check out to go to the airport, I had 3 knocks on the door from housekeepers to check if i needed room cleaning or checking. So I think that can be improved with coordinating with front desk. Apart from that, everything was great. Great location. I would definitely love to stay here again.

A very comfortable, friendly and smart hotel located just a couple of minutes walk away from Earls Court underground station. Room was very comfortable and neat, while bathroom was smart with very modern shower and amenities. Staff were extremely friendly, happy to help and genuine.

Given a reasonable TripAdvisor rating I expected no problems staying here. However was allocated a small single room. Bed against a wall with a 20 degree slope (measured on iPhone to confirm) so I felt like the ceiling was pushing me out of bed/kept hitting myself against it in the night. The bed was also frankly knackered, creaky. Attempt made to make it better with a soft topper but this just made it more likely I'd roll off. (I'm 5'5” and lightweight so heaven help anyone else.) Room also quite shabby, needs renovating. Parts quite disgusting. I spoke to staff about how I wasn't happy. Told unable to do anything until the following day. Staff member seemed quite sarcastic and unhelpful. The following morning I was shown an alternative room but I didn't have time to wait for it to be cleaned and available so I just stayed in my original room. When I checked out, another guest was leaving with the words “I've stayed here three times and this was by far the worst”. Every Travelodge I've stayed in was better than this, and so were many of the Youth Hostels in my younger days. I have also stayed in better Best Westerns. It's such a long way from four star accommodation and I'd barely give it a three.

The staff were great and let me check in early though it meant them cleaning the one available room early. The room was comfortable and basic. Too hot for me and though they turned the thermostat down for me it was stuffy and hot for my whole stay.

very excellent stay in this Hotel, very helpfull staff and brilliant Location, near by M&S Store, near by a good Pub, near by the Underground Station Earls Court and very good conection to the cheap Bus line 74 to travel in the City for example Marbel Arch to go to Shopping in the Bond Street or Walking in the Park

Very friendly personal in the hotel, a clean and comfortable room, and classic breakfast. Even the wifi network worked fine at all of the time ;-) Everything was fine, so we really could enjoy our short trip to London. ;-)

A small friendly hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Single room very small but fine for one night stay. Only problem I experienced was that reception order a taxi for morning and it didn't turn up. Next time I would order a black cab myself to be sure that it turned up as it was a long walk tom ain road and it was difficult to get cab at that time of morning.

this hotel met all our requirements for a short stay in London as it is situated a few minutes walk from Earls Court underground , which makes an easy journey from Heathrow airport . From here you can access most of CentralLondon . Friendly , clean and good breakfast .

I stayed in an executive grade room. It had a king-size bed, desk, sofa, bedside tables and lamps, internet - both plug in and wifi and a nicely appointed bathroom with bath and plenty of towels. There were robes and slippers provided as well as complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. There was also a separate capsule coffee machine and bottles of water. The room was entitled to morning newspapers and there was a plate of fresh cookies to welcome my arrival. There was a radio alarm - or you could request an alarm call - and a room safe and a large flat screen TV. It was comfortable and relatively quiet. The breakfast room was not large but there was a good selection of food and drink. Omelettes were available upon request and you could have as much as you wanted. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room and public spaces clean and tidy. The location is excellent - 5 mins walk from Earl's Court tube and 10 mins from Victoria Station. Lots of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk and 20 minutes walk from Olympia. Great place to stay. Thanks to all who made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a double bed room, room was very small but included all the facilities and was very clean. -ve - Basic things like coffee/ tea and biscuits were not refilled/replaced after one night

We stayed in a basement room and the air-conditioning was good. Staff was helpful and responded to my requests promptly for fixing the problem of water basin. The location is good as you could take the underground via Piccadilly Line from Heathrow Airport around 30 mins without any interchange. Breakfast had more choice than other hotels we stayed during the trips to UK and France. For improvement, it is recommended to provide a leaflet to guests explaining about the permitted parking hours outside the street for guests' hired cars. It is not inconvenient for us to park our hired car at Ibis hotel which was far away from the hotel. All in all, very enjoyable experience in our stay.

Really nice hotel at an affordable price and a really excellent location too. Quiet, comfortable rooms, didn't need a large room. The breakfast was good too. Staff were friendly, approachable and generally great all round.

Great room, great bed, great facilities. This is a great value for money Hotel and very close to the Tube station. However it is also quiet and we were amazed how little noise there was considering how close to a main arterial road. The breakfast was really good and if you are having the cooked breakfast with all the trimmings well worth the money! For me the staff make or break a Hotel and without exception they were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they all seemed like they genuinely enjoy working there. First time at the Hotel and I will definitely stay there again. Thanks.

Excellent little hotel, on a quiet street just around corner from Earl's Court... easy access to central London. Staff really friendly and room was very clean and tidy... amenities limited but plenty of pubs and restaurants around the area. Ideal for a little city break...

Great location, near to the tube, food shops, pubs. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable beds, decent english breakfast. Rooms are small but clean and well equipped. Extremely warm duvets. Don't hesitate to contact the reception if you need anything, they will do everything they can to help you. Minor drawbacks can be found in any hotel, so to be fair: some rooms overlooking the garden are a bit noisy in the morning due to air conditioning from the kitchen. Some carpets need cleaning. But general impression was very good. Definitely recommend.

Great value-for-money relation, near Earl's Court tube station. The room had a nice area for 3 people and quality shower conditions. Good variety at breakfast and always courteous staff to attend to whatever we needed. Highly recommend this hotel, which stands out in an area with considerable room offer.

We stayed in a twin room for two nights with the breakfast option. Firstly the location was great, so close to Earl's Court underground station. The situation was really good with pubs, shops and pharmacies all within a two-three minute walk. The staff couldn't help you enough and room was a good size, clean and tidy. There was everything you would need for short stay in the rooms including, ironing board and iron, complementary teas and coffee with a kettle. The breakfast has a great array of foods and was cooked lovely. Would recommend and return without thought.

Great location round the corner from Earls Court on a quiet road. Friendly, helpful staff. We had rooms in the basement which were very small but clean and cool and suited our purposes which was literally to have somewhere to sleep and we didn't spend any time as such in the hotel. Good breakfast.

Reception team friendly and helpful. Although my room did not have much charm (located at the basement level), it was quiet, clean and functional. The hotel's location is very good (2 minutes from Earl's Court tube station. The (English) breakfast was excellent.

I stayed for 3 nights at BW Boltons London Kensington, room #304, at the beginning of July. I got bedbug bites on my arms, neck, thighs on clusters. Red, itchy small blisters. The symptoms got worse the last day. Extremely irritating. I could hardly believe it. At my return home, I emailed the hotel and reported the problem. The reply was that this happens often in London! They did not answer my second email. Later I found out that similar reports exit in Booking. Shame.

Staff welcoming, nice clean comfy room with fantastic a/c. Lovely housekeeping staff member who serviced our room. Excellent location near earls court station. Decent price considering prime location. Only gripe, was that the room on the lower ground floor was near a staff stairwell, so we constantly heard staff in the morning.

good overall. need somewhere to sit other than the bed and lighting to read by. Great location walkable to almost everything you need and close to the train and underground station. Staff was very helpful.

We would like to say a huge thank you to one of your staff members at Best Western The Boltons her name is Ieva. She made our stay 5* from the moment we were greeted at reception. Unfortunately due to train cancellations we had to stay an extra night and although we didn't have a room booked for the night Ieva managed to sort this out for us and give us a room for the night at a reasonable cost. Secondly, we hadn't been told by another member breakfast was included in our stay and at reception the next morning we found out we missed it. However, Ieva managed to provide an excellent service again and allowed us to have breakfast (she even made us a coffee). Nothing but great words for such wonderful customer service from ieva. Very small hotel, with minimal facilities, rather sloppy housekeeping, and tight rooms - our double bed was pushed right up against the windows, in the eaves of the roof. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The main asset, though, is its proximity to the centre via Earl's Court Tube Station. Like similar hotels in NY, Paris, etc, these establishments get away with high prices for very little in return because of their location.

My previous experience of Best Western Hotels has been nothing short of excellent - hence the reason I chose to stay here - I can hardly believe that this is a Best Western Hotel - Hotel (????) its the standard of a hostel with the same attitude from staff - when I arrived there were people queuing to check out due to dirty rooms/unacceptable standards - I was asked for my card as an insurance against damage to the room - OK - however when I got to the room which was in the basement - hot - stuffy - no fresh air - window doesn't open - air conditioning unit outside the window - the room had considerable damage already done to it ( carpet stains and headboard) If "valued guests" are expected to pay for any damages - then please ensure that the damage is rectified!!- this has been a very disappointing experience and I will no longer choose to stay at Best Western - Come on Best Western you can do better than this I know it from previous experience!

Chose due to locality of Wimbledon. Staff very friendly, decent enough breakfast, room compact but sufficient, bathroom very good. Quite stuffy in the room as on the basement floor and window looked up to street level with workmen talking and smoking so didn't want to open the window.

There are really no words for my experience at this "hotel". The bed bugs stories are true as well as the stained ripped carpets, filthy cramped rooms, air conditioning that doesn't work, basement rooms and incompetent hotel staff. This is just the surface of the iceberg. We had hotel maintenance staff WALK straight into our room during our staff without knocking. You will really couldn't make this up, it was like an episode of faulty towers except much much worse. When I thought it couldn't get worse hotel staff moved furniture around in the middle of the night. I didn't sleep the entire night. SAVE YOUR MONEY, do not stay here. There are way better hotels in London and you will not have to endure the horrors encountered at this falsely advertised 4 star hotel. It is not even close to 1 star let alone 4.

We stayed at the Best Western Boltons Hotel in Kensington, London last night, as we went to see Il Divo at the Royal Albert Hall. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant, welcoming or helpful, they made ya feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The breakfast was lovely, you could have cooked, ceriel, fruit, toast and more. Coffee was good and staff were very nice indeed. It was about a half hour walk to the RAH, but would book this hotel again and thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is visiting this area.

The room has everything a normal hotel room has except there's hardly any room to put your feet. I can't remember the last time I had a single bed; I didn't think Hotels had them anymore. The space is so limited that I had to squeeze between the bathroom door and the bed to get into the bathroom. There is also a door stop in the middle of the floor at the end of the bed - just in front of the mirror so you can see yourself hitting it when you trip - ever heard of 'trip hazard'... It's just too small and cramped.

One of my preferred transit hotels in London. A clean, well-modernized room though very small for a single room, but well equipped and even has ironing facilities. Very clean and the bed is comfortable. There is an elevator but very small. Whether a good choice is dependent on price of the date. I use it for my frequent transits through London as it is near the Earl's Court tube for Heathrow.

The hotel is near Earl's Court station and there some convenience store around the hotel. But the elevator is too small to be used by one person and one luggage at a time.Overall this hotel is good to stay.

Still suffering for the bites of Bed bugs that were in my bed. Told them the next morning and they were sorry about that, but I travel a lot and cleaning of the rooms/beds should be the first thing. A part from that, position was good.

It's very dirty house. Have the bedbugs bite you during the night !!! A very small hotel room and like a B&B house with good location for the close underground station. The hotel service was poor quality and really bad experience with my stay here, I was not sleep all night and had bitten by few bedbugs after the next room noisy stop . I have tried talking to the desk manager but unfortunately they doesn't help me at all. The desk lady has told us that her manager will email me in 24 hours for this terrible things happened, but unfortunately we never received any feedback from them. Please open your eyes to check out the reviews before you booking this hotel. I was looking at the good reviews last time before I booked. Finally got a very bad experience.

When we arrived to the hotel our room wasn't ready. We left our bags to the reception and came back later. When we came back to the hotel, we got our room keys and the receptionist said that our bags were already in our room and we can go there. We went to our room, opened the door and noticed that the room wasn't cleaned after the previous customers!! Beds were dirty, used towels all over and trash here and there. We went back to reception and let them know how our room was, and they told us it was a joke. We got a new same kind of room, no apologize and no compensation. If you screw up like that, I think that the customer should get some refund. Breakfast was good. Location was also good, just minutes aways from Earls court station. Staff in the reception were quite rude but one male staffmember in breakfast area was really nice.

the room was everything you need to get a good nights sleep, comfortable and clean. the breakfast was amazing set us up for most of the day . a very extensive choice of everything... breads .pastries, cereals, continental meats and cheeses, fruits, yoghurts,jams and marmalade, and then the fry up plenty to choose from and as much as you wanted from n nice hot buffet served on warm plates. all the staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. they also had a wide range of twinings teas and served a real good coffee. it had a small lift and rooms were over 4 floors so the place was quite quiet. the tube station was just around the corner and 4 stops to picadilly circus .. fabulous

I was booked into lower ground 1. You access this tiny room down very dirty and poorly maintained steps from the pavement. There were fag ends and litter and dirt on the steps and puddles of water. Wow! What a welcome to a 4 star hotel. This basement room has a flat roof from the pavement to the main building and the internal wallpaper shows plenty water ingress. The carpet was filthy. The room has clearly been an add on to use the basement yard space. My shower was interesting in that I am 6ft 3 and I would guess the height of the shower might be 4ft!! It would not take much to make this up to standard. It seems crazy to leave it in this state.

This is a TWO STAR hotel. Booked two rooms. Dirty stained carpet in tiny tight basement rooms. They appear to put all online booking customers in the basement rooms. Super tiny lift 2'x 3'. Could not arrange wake up calls. One window, stuck open. No coffee. The location was really good for us. The staff were courteous, responsive, listened, and followed up. The staff booked a taxi for us and the taxi was on time the next day. What I liked best is the gall they have to bill themselves as a four star hotel!

To be fair, we were moved from another overbooked hotel to this one. So I was just happy to have a place to stay. My son and I were coming for just a few days and had a jammed packed trip planned. First, the location is fantastic and the hotel is clean. It is literally next to the Underground and an M&S grocery is on the corner. Perfect. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfy, too. However, a few things that irritated me. We were in a small room in the basement, which I expected for two people. I knew this going in, but it was hard to even move in there. The bathroom was also so small. I know it's an old building and they have to make use of all the space, but it was so odd to look at the window and just see the wall from the other basement room. In the end it was OK because we were hardly there. Second, the bathroom reeked of smoke. I should have said something, but I didn't. We were already crammed in the room for such a short time. We just closed the door. But it was really really gross to smell. I also wish it would have had a small fridge, but I have no idea where you would put that, to be honest.

This location hit the sweet spot for us. We used 2 different hotels while passing through London. The staff and facilities were very comfortable. Included breakfast was well-presented and plentiful I'd definitely stay there again

Even though the room was really very small (the smallest I've ever been to), it was clean. The location is also fantastic: just around the corner you have Earl's court station with access to the Picadilly, District and Circuit lines so you can easy go everywhere in London from there. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it for a one or two-day stay.

We stayed at the Best Western, number 1 reason we recognized the name (Best Western) and the 2nd for the location being close to the Metro, as we were heading to the airport the next day. Reception was friendly and very helpful. I thought the room should have had a fridge, but the staff brought up ice, in a timely matter, so that was useful. Definitely will stay there again if in the area.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff, all of whom were warm and professional. Disappointingly my basement room was tiny, slightly worn and had the kind of vibe you'd expect in the seedy end of Blackpool not Kensington. The view from the window was catastrophically depressing, mouldy walls and a rotting plank propped up. For some mysterious reason involving poor ventilation I kept smelling cigarette and toilet fumes from elsewhere, especially in the teeny tiny bathroom. Yet, the sheets were clean, bed comfortable and shower good. The location is excellent. A lick of paint and putting more of the profits into a sprucing up wouldn't go amiss. If I'd been there more than one night I could not have tolerated that room.

We stayed in the 26th May as we were staying in London for my 50th birthday. The hotel was lovely and the staff were really nice and helpful. Highly recommended. We would have no hesitation recommending.

Having stayed in this street on a previous visit to London we decided to stay at Boltons Best Western for it's proximity to the Underground, local eateries and it's walking distance to Kensington. On arrival we were given an extraordinarily warm welcome by Ieva on reception and Raffaele continued with this exceptional level of warm and friendly service throughout our six day stay. Our room however was quite small in typical English fashion with only a double bed and we would have appreciated a small bar fridge to store fresh milk rather than the cumbersome bath. Breakfast was extraordinary and the beautiful woman and her male team member always manage to provide exceptional service and smile under the busiest of circumstances. Would stay again, great location and fabulous service.

This time, I stopped over London on the way from Seoul to Washington DC. Because Hotel is close to Earl's Court Station on Piccadely Line, it is convenient to go sightseeing downtown London, stay one night in Hotel, and fly from Heathrow Airport next day.

So it'd be excellent except were were slightly "stuffed about" with night 1 of 2.... however we were put up in another property for night 1 and couldn't do enough to assist. Night 2 was superior is all senses staff GREAT, room HUGE, shower GREAT

Excellent reception staff, friendly and efficient. Room very small. They've done what so many London hotels do and tried to cram in far too much in too small a space. Breakfast room even more cramped. Good breakfast and great bed. Good position but too many compromises on space. Wouldn't return.

The location is good, near the underground station Earls court with the good connection all around the city. The staff was polite. Room was small but clean, without minibar. Wifi conection was excellent.

Were happy with the hôtel and the location. The staff is great. We were surprised the breakfast was included which is not the case in most London hôtels. The fact the hôtel is a few meters from Earl's Court underground station is gréât.

Hotel is ideally sutured a short walk from Earls Court tube station. My room on the 2nd floor, was clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. All public areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean too. Staff were welcoming, friendly and eager to assist. Rafaelle was a comic, he has a good sense of humour and was always eager to assist. I will stay at this hotel again.

Ok. Location is perfect. People at the hotel are very kind and friendly. I just have to thank them for their help and efforts for everything to go well. Hope everybody enjoys staying with you as much as we did :-)

Lower ground rooms are a bit dark and non welcoming. If you can, make sure you get a room upstairs. The heating wasnt working when we arrived but the staff was nice enough to make us change the room. In the other room, the heating was a bit noisy when working. Very professional staff though, kind and nice. But it was hard getting 2 blankets... Generally, small inconveniences, but the hotel and the people working there where nice, fortunatly. Room LG14 views on the bins (which is not very cool).

Was a nice stay, could have had a better nights sleep as bed was not very comfy but still a very nice best western hotel. Would use again as staff were lovely, and made our stay the receptionist in particular.

I like staying in the best Western the Boltons hotel.. Close to under ground.. Close to market and restaurants.. Service very good.. Cleaning of rooms very good. Breakfast was nice.. I advise people to book in it..

I was not expecting what a nice and comfortable hotel this was and the location was very convenient. The breakfast brunch was great with lots of variety. Only complaint was that the shower was a little small.

This was one of the single rooms. Small and compact but clean and with excellent basic facilities. If anything the TV was a little too large for the size of the room. Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits were provided. There was a wardrobe desk and a bed. The shower room was nicely done and perfectly fine for 1.

Room really nice in a good location near to tube station it noisy at night but staff at breakfast not aware of pre-paid breakfast was made to feel very uncomfortable in front of many other guests which spoiled the breakfast

We were pleasantly surprised and found it to be absolutely fine and we LOVED the location. It is less than 2 minutes walk from Earls Court tune station and yards from a huge selection of food, drink and shopping options. It was maybe the tiniest room I have ever stayed in, in my life, large enough for a double bed, which we had to crawl over to the get to the equally tiny bathroom, but for the amount we were paying, I didn't expect the Four Seasons! M&S Foodhall is at the end of the street, and we opted to go here for breakfast and snacks. Would return for the area but would look into a larger room or a different hotel (there were DOZENS on this street).

One of the worst places I've ever stayed! The doona was lumpy and the bed was uncomfortable. The hot water ran out on the second morning of my stay and I had to take a cold shower. When I went to reception to let them know, Rafaelo at the desk, just stood and stared at me. When I said, “I think sorry is the word you're looking for”. He replied very rudely, “I was waiting to find out what you want me to do about it?” He seems to be unaquainted with the concept of customer service. At sorry on behalf of the hotel for the inconvenience shouldn't be something I have to ask for! That evening, I heard a commotion in the corridor over the sound of he TV. I went to my door and heard a man and woman arguing. The woman was saying “Don't hit me, don't hit me again!”. I open my door concerned someone was in danger. A man stepped into the hall in his underpants and socks. “Go back to your room. Why you listening to us?”. I don't have a choice, you're yelling in the corridor” I replied. “You f*** o**, you little f****** c***! You'd better watch yourself, you little c***. Go back in your room. Stop listening to us” I immediately called reception. I was concerned the man was violent and I was upset that I'd just been threaten. Pamela in reception asked for a description and said she'd look into it. She called back later to say she'd spoken to the guy and it was alright. The guy was just upset I was listening to them! ALRIGHT, I thought. Nothing about this is alright! Pamela was the only staff member on duty. She wanted me to move rooms. I didn't feel it was safe to leave my room! I spent a very sleepless night. What an awful place! My advice is not to stay here ever!

Each year we choose a hotel in Earls Court, and this hotel is the best hotel so far. Spacious family room, nicely furnished, still fresh, complimentary water and chocolate in the room were awaiting us. The breakfast is very rich in choice - definitely worth purchasing if your rate doesn't include one. Hot, cold dishes, fruits, coffee machine. The breakfast room is tiny, but you can wait five minutes in the lobby if all tables are occupied and you'll be called when the table is ready for you. The reception staff is very helpful. And we were leaving early and the hotel offers breakfast on the go. Definitely worth coming back.

We stayed here while down for a rugby match at Twickenham. The hotel was in an ideal location for that as it was just around the corner from Earls Court tube. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast. Reasonable price too. Only slight gripe is the room was really small and there wasn't much space to move around. Fine for our purposes but would not have worked had we been staying longer and had more luggage.

Having booked this hotel on Booking.com and paid £100 I hoped it was better than some of the reviews I read. I was pleasantly surprised and found it to be absolutely fine and well located. It is literally 3 minutes walk from Earls Court tune station and yards from a lively street full of food, drink and shopping options. I was in a single room on floor 1 which was small but functional. Great shower, huge TV, good facilities and the bed was comfortable. Only slight downside was the amount of noise from outside the hotel window, but that's London for you ! Reception was fine, business like and did everything they needed too. I would definitely stay here again if I had a similar room as it's easy to get to and has so many eating options nearby (I chose to buy from the M&S Foodhall which was 1 minute walk). I didn't sample the room service food or have breakfast as I felt the options around were so good I didn't need to spend in the hotel.

I received this “surprise” information when I arrive at Best Western The Boltons.My room was under the street sidewalks. In the basement outside the hotel. The ceiling was too low. It was impossible to have a shower stand up. The bathroom is too cold and without air conditioner or heater. The toilet was too close to wall. Juste ( frontdesk agent) said me that they had a different room available but I had to pay extra for it. It is too disrespectful. If you don't want the same experience, book another hotel. Do the Best Western staff visit your brand hotels? I don't think so.

I was a bit apprehensive at first about this hotel as I focused on the bad reviews that in particular mentioned the small and cramped rooms. Before my visit, I emailed the hotel and requested one of their larger rooms, and to my surprise they considered my request and we had a lovely spacious twin room on the second flood (room 207 for those wondering). It was one of the bigger rooms I have stayed in in a London hotel and very clean and modern. The hospitality tray had everything you needed and was replenished daily, and the bathroom was lovely and modern with a great shower. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel but there were plenty of places to eat in Earls Court (I recommend Paul Boulangerie). The only bad comment I would make about the hotel is about a certain male member of staff at the check in desk who needs a lesson in friendliness and hospitality. He was so miserable and was reluctant to even crack a smile, despite my best efforts to be friendly towards him. All the other staff we had interactions with were so friendly and lovely, even down to the cleaning staff. Even though the member of staff I mentioned made our check in a little disappointing, it did not ruin our stay. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return to Earls Court in the future.

Location of the hotel is convenient, Earl's Court Underground station is just around the corner. Room was small, our double bed was not accessible from both sides. Carpet was old and dirty, rest of the interior was in good condition. Bathroom was extremely small, when you use the washbasin you will have a hard time trying to not contact the toilet with your legs. What I really dislike was, that they charged me a higher rate than was shown on my booking confirmation. They also gave me a screenshot of their system, where the lower rate was shown. Anyway they told me I have to pay a higher rate, about 15GBP more, and they will give me a refund after they figured out what's going on. Sadly they haven't refund the difference even two weeks later and never answered to my requests.

Not too bad. Location is good. Takes a 5-minute walk from Earl's Court station which is surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets. The rooms are quite tiny to be honest, and the lift is just way too small - one adult and one luggage can fill it up. Noise from next door can be heard easily. The staff wear a smile and behave politely, but they won't help to move the luggage from ground floor to lobby.

Excellent location with clean comfortable rooms although perhaps a bit on the small side. Reception staff very helpful & friendly. Do suggest you keep you booking details as we booked and paid a breakfast inclusive rate but were initially turned away from the breakfast room! All sorted out eventually but unpleasant and unnecessary. Would still visit again though.

Had dinner vegan option and a pint of lager with family at this pub it was great recommend it had a lovely time will go again enjoyed the atmosphere and sometimes they have bands playing had carrot soup and mushrooms on toast love it

I booked a single room, which is hard to get in London and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is 100 yards from Earl's Court Tube Station and easy to find. Check in was speedy and Rafaelleon reception was lovely. My room was on the 1st floor and despite being small it was perfect. Bathroom was modern and immaculate with toiletries supplied and beautiful white fluffy towels. The room had a well stocked tea tray, alarm clock radio, docking station, 40 inch TV, safe, full size ironing board and iron, hairdryer and plenty of power points. There was air conditioning which worked very well and my room overlooked the road with a little balcony at the front. Bed was comfortable with crisp white bedding. I did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment but I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone as I only paid £60 a night.

Friendly staff, great breakfast and perfect location, Earls Court Tube Station just around the corner. Room fairly small but well laid out and clean, everything we needed for a short stay. Would recommend.

We came to London to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday I didn't expect much from the hotel as the price was very resonable, the rooms were clean(could do with abit of tlc) but great for what we wanted, breakfast was lovely and fresh and plenty of it

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a few-day-visit to London. It is in a central place, about 2 minutes walk from Earl's Court metro station. Staff is really helpful, room is very tidy and clean, great service, good breakfast. The only thing you should consider when booking is that rooms are really small. Indeed it is fully equipped, however the bed was too short for me, for example (I'm 5-11") which made the nights a little bit uncomfortable. Otherwise the hotel is excellent, rather a boutique hotel close to the city centre.

The hotel is very well located, very close to the underground, in a very quiet area. For a four stars hotel the room is extremely small with no fridge and the breakfast is not included. The window in the bathroom did not close properly and for this reason, the bathroom was quite cold.

As I arrived late into London and had an early flight the following morning, I thought this would be a cheap and alright place to sleep for a few hours. Well, I was wrong. First off, the room I received was in the basement, looked nothing like the photos, and I had to go outside from the lobby to get there. When I entered the room, the light was flickering, the floor was dirty and the room was generally worn down. The bathroom looked alright enough, until I noticed they've hung up bloody (that's right, with blood spots) hand towels with the spot conveniently towards the wall, so that you wouldn't notice as easily. I'm never going back to this hotel, not even for a night. The receptionist was nice however, but this was the only good thing about the hotel.

4 of us went for a trip to London first time in this hotel and certainly won't be my last it was beautiful very clean and the hotel staff where really very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was gorgeous too would stay here again

The breakfast was really poor. The omlet was chewy the sausige was overcooked. The only thing of fresh fruit was pineapple. We could order pancakes but nobody told us about this. Not friendly at the reception if we asked that we could eat our breakfast outside. They said it was non refundable. I geusse they have had this problem before.

Hello, I did not find your email so I'm writing here. My room number is 301. Tonight I came back around 8-15 and found out that the cleaners did not close properly the door of my room. So anybody could enter. I went to the reception but nobody (!) was there. Thankfully, all my belongings are untouched so I did not call the police. Please make sure that the cleaning personnel is careful and close the rooms m'a doors. Additionally, I can say that I'm not happy at all with the service. My room and the appliances are decent but the attitude of the personnel is disappointing. Not talking about their absence at the working place tonight, I should inform you that they refused twice a package I was expecting without warning me. I'm staying in this hotel for 25 nights (pre paid) and reserve at least that my packages be accepted. Regarding the cleaning, something is always missing - milk, towels, garbage not collected... for some reason, they only give me 1 towel notwithstanding the fact that I lid for the double room. My packages are returned to amazon and I have to deal with the refund now. However, for the rest of my stay I would like that you make sure of the following : - the door of my room is always carefully closed after cleaning; - I have 2 little towels and 2 towels for the face; - milk is provided; - garbage is collected. Thank you in advance.

We had a perfectly pleasant one-night stay at this property. The location is ideal - extremely close to the Earl's Court subway station, on a quiet street lined with quaint hotels. There is a convenience store nearby for snacks. We reserved a family room, a cozy room consisting of three beds. It was a blustery London evening, so we appreciated the warmth of the plug-in radiator. It was also incredible to have an electric kettle and an assortment of teas. We did have a basement room, but a large window with ample light. I also appreciated the converter in the desk drawer, as I had forgotten mine for charging electronics. No problem whatsoever with wifi - it was quick, and log-in was a breeze. Overall, we had a lovely, restful night's sleep and would not hesitate to stay again. Recommended!

This is not a 4-star hotel. This is at best a 3-star hotel by London standards. The reception is understaffed at check-out time, the rooms are tiny, there are loads of basement rooms with no proper window/view. The wifi is incredibly complicated to log into (password given by hotel, then registration online which doesn't seem to work on mobile devices but works on laptop). Also be aware that the hotel will give you a twin room with tiny single beds if you book a double. The bathroom is so small that legs are against the wall when using the toilet. I almost walked out to get another hotel but the only thing that saved it was the location.

We booked two nights at this 4* hotel to enjoy a few days in London celebrating our anniversary. Our room was number 407 right at the top of the building which was reach by a minuscule lift ...... a bit scary! Although very clean the room was absolutely tiny and you could almost shower sitting on the toilet as the en-suite was so small. The bed was VERY firm and not comfortable at all. We have a firm mattress at home but the mattress sloped off at the edge so you felt like you would fall out! The worst thing about our whole experience at this hotel was the heat inside the room. It was like a sauna and was very uncomfortable to sleep it felt like we were in the Caribbean with high humidity. The air conditioning unit didn't seem to be working properly and we called reception at 2.30am to inform them and they said they would reset it from reception but this did NOT happen! Even the small sash window would not stay open and we were unable to prop it open! A horrific night with barely any sleep! We would have had a better nights sleep in a tent! When complaining again at check out we were offered a free nights stay but to be honest we wouldn't stay here again if they paid us! A paultry slight deduction off the bill was accepted ☹️ It must be said the staff were all very pleasant and the breakfast was great! We have never complained about a stay before but think future clients should know about this!

We have stayed in this hotel 3 times now over 6 years and have found the customer service fantastic, the staff will always go the extra mile for any request, like water ice cubes delivered to our room, no problem.

I slept here last night in room 403. Woke up to blood on the sheets and the bed crawling with bedbugs in all sizes. I have never experienced bedbugs and my skin is still crawling. I hope I don't break out in welts. Will now have to decontaminate everything I had with me. Staff came up and checked that there were bugs when I phoned reception and offered me a refund. They claim no one has reported the bugs before but there sure were a lot of them. They also said a pest control company has been contacted. Obviously this is a terrible problem for hotels but if you are staying here, ask the question and check your room carefully. Otherwise an okay hotel if you are small of stature. A larger person would struggle to fit on the toilet. Breakfast unspectacular, but I suspect I would have felt more like eating without the bugs...

There are Best Western hotels in London but this is one of the best. It is at Earls Court 5-minutes from Tube station for access from Heathrow. Rooms are quite newly decorated and reasonably sized and well-supplied, not only tea maker but also an ironing board (a wow), and surprisingly a mobile phone for free use in London for internet and call (a big wow, like in Hong Kong). One of the best hotels for choice in London, unless you opt for luxury. But evcen luxury hotels in London do not supply a phone to take out. Good front desk service too. Will definitely return.

I booked what I thought was a large room, Executive Suite, on arrival trying to get luggage up steps out the front for Seniors is a challenge. After booking taking your luggage up in the 'Worlds Smallest Elevator" is a chore not for the faint hearted. Then very narrow hallways with linen supplies blocking your way to your room! Safety hazards there folks. On opening so called Executive Suite you find a room barely large enough to swing a cat around, then to open Bathroom/ Toilet you find a shower you can barely fit into, the toilet and basin is something you must see, to see how small it is! Breakfasts were included in my tariff, I must say the small dining area is cramped but the English breakfasts were great, I ordered Omelettes each day, and I suggest you share with your partner! The staff at check in were efficient and friendly, Elena in the breakfast area is a gem! If you are coming from USA or Australia where larger rooms are the normal, brace yourself for a room small enough to be your garden shed! Air conditioning did not seem to work, so had to open windows to get any fresh air!

We stayed at this hotel between the 6th and 10th of July 2018 and we were overall very happy with our stay. The location was superb. The street was noise free at night and it was within walking distance of lots of restaurants, shops, the pharmacy and also the underground station.The staff were really nice and helpful. We had initially wanted a room higher up with a view facing the street, but this was not possible the first night. Therefore we were placed in a room on a lower floor the first night and moved to a room on the highest floor for the remaining nights. This was fine to us.The first room was very small for being a double room, all though, to be honest, we knew the rooms would be smaller than the Scandinavian standard anyway. It was still a bit too small for two people. The second room on the highest floor was much more spacious and had windows which overlooked the rooftops so that was really nice. Overall, the cleaniness and standard of the rooms was great. Also, the air-con worked in both rooms, which was a life saviour as it was +30 celsius at the time of our trip.The breakfast was something we enjoyed a lot! It had lots of options whether you wanted cold or warm food, lots of different spreads for bread, yoghurt, mini cereal packages of all kinds etc. It was super! Also, I especially have to mention the breakfast waitress too. She really lit up our mornings with her bright and happy demeanor and she was so helpful all the time. One of the best customer service experiences so far at a hotel.Overall, this is a good hotel if you're looking for something that has all the basic necessities you need and a super location for a good price.

We stayed here 3 times for a few days each within the last 3 weeks. With the exception of the small rooms, we found this hotel to be perfect for tourists. The staff were great, especially Ieva, who assisted us tremendously during our stays. Having visited about 7 other hotels in the UK during this period, we decided that the breakfast at The Boltons was certainly one of the best. The location is fantastic with Earls Court underground within a few minutes walking distances. Earls Court Road has a multitude of pubs and restaurants, so no need to have to travel anywhere for dinners.

We stayed here for 12 days and the only thing was we got bored of the breakfast every day. But that's no fault of the hotel. It was exactly what we needed to sleep and shower after a long day exploring London and its surrounds. The beds were comfortable and towels were fluffy and big. The rooms were tight but was expected. They had tea making facilities in the room, a safe, a wardrobe and welcome biscuits. The elevator is a EXTREMELY small and would allow only one person at a time with luggage to go up and down. Those are our general comments and not complaints in any way. Absolutely loved the location, restaurants close by, underground station only a couple hundred metres away.The staff were very helpful and understanding with our needs, travelling in a party of 12. Would stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel a few months back and was surprised to see that this hotel is rated a four star. The room was located at the top floor, the lift quite small. The room was fully air-conditioned which was good but unfortunately, very small. The bathroom was so small that you could bang your head on the wall whilst using the toilet. All amenities in the bedroom were working fine and a little chocolate bar was a nice welcome gift. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well. We called down to reception to ask for some herbal tea bags as we only found breakfast tea in the room and where told that somebody would bring some. After a while I went down to check, the receptionists had already gone and the night porter did not know about it. He could not find any herbal tea bags... All in all I would rate this hotel a 3-star hotel, average service and not very central location. Room ok but not great, 3 out of 5 is the best I can score.

We we're looking for a hotel that was in an area close to the tourist area Friends recommended this one. We had three in our group and the family room accommodated. The room was clean, the beds comfortable The hotel also provided a cell phone which was awesome. We could google map stuff we wanted to see (being from Canada we were dependent on free wifi) Never seen that in a hotel Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend

Stayed for 2 nights midweek, We had 2 Single rooms They were both Compact but very clean. All the usual bits that modern bedrooms should have, Wifi, Coffee making etc. A decent walk-in shower was my biggest plus, I hate baths! Staff were friendly. A great location, I minute walk to Earls Court Tube station, 15 mins walk to Harrods. Will definitely stay again.

They refused to honor my reservation because I had my 2 children with me and the room I received through my reservation only accommodated 2 people. I requested a larger room, but they had none and refused to accommodate me. I originally booked through Priceline, but the reservation was transferred. It is rainy in London and I had to rebook me and my children elsewhere and the hotel still is refusing to return my money. I am being forced to seek legal help for this matter as Priceline is doing nothing. The hotel is not a 4 star, nor is it comparable to a Hyatt like Priceline said. It is a budget Best Western much smaller that the ones in the states. I was not expecting to be in a 3 star hotel as I was booking a 4 star. The hotel staff was very unprofessional when dealing with me and this matter, especially in front of my children. My children were quite worried when they said they would have to have their own room, separate from me, which is completely unacceptable!

I'm wondering where the 5* reviews come from, really. It's not a bad establishment but some things need improving. 1) Housekeeping services - I don't know whether they get confused on a regular basis or what - they throw out something you need, they give you something you don't need (I ended up with 6 plastic cups at the end of my stay even though the other ones were in the plastic covering suggesting I didn't use them), they didn't fill the box with tissues or replace it, just crammed a few new tissues on the top. Either they turn on the air-con full-blast or they don't and open the window in max heat. Highly confusing. You never know what you're coming back to and I guess this is not the point at any hotel. 2) Breakfast room - very small. The food was ok (apart from milk that's gone off - you may get it some time) but the issue with signing in - come on, we're in the 21st century. Do you honestly think someone would sneak in to steal some of the food? The cleanliness of the coffee cups is also another issue - don't you have a dishwasher? The only positive is the dark-haired lady who is efficient at her job and manages it properly. 3) The room - the website says the rooms were refurbished. Maybe, but the photos say otherwise. It looks as if the staff don't understand that the rooms need constant supervision and refurbishment as required. Overall, definitely not a typical "Best Western" experience. Just an ordinary hotel I wouldn't recommend.

For the price this place is fantastic right in the heart of London! Very nice rooms and when we got to the room there was a free device to use during stay that gave all information for London and allowed you to make phone calls anywhere for free! Certainly recommend this place!

Good basement room with big screen TV. All amenities needed, even a full size bath. Would love to have stayed longer than one night. Very professional and friendly receptionist from Lithuania. This would be on my list of first choice small hotels in Earls Court.

We stayed at the Bolton's because it was convenient to where they would pick us up for a tour of Cambridge. It was a great location, close to the tube and many different restaurants in walking distance. Tiny room for 2 people and a really tiny elevator, but the staff were all helpful and they tried to accommodate us- No ice, though. We did have AC, and on the rest of our tour of Northern Ireland and Scotland, we found that was a real plus during their heat wave.

Very well located to public transport and pubs for meals etc. The room was a little small especially for a travelling couple with 2 suitcases but still very comfortable and quiet. Would recommend anytime.

Stayed here two nights with a friend for a trip to Wimbledon and I'll do the same next time (if there is one). Earl's Court tube station is two minutes away and is the ideal gateway to all parts of the city. There are also plenty of nearby eateries and drinkeries to cater for all tastes. The rooms (ours were singles) are small but clean and very comfortable (we weren't planning to anything with them but sleep after all) Nicely decorated too. Bathroom also small but well appointed with a walk-in shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also better than I had expected, having stayed in similar hotels in the area. Good variety, well cooked (and black pudding available - plus point!). And all for under £100 pppn. Can't really fault it. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Overall a good hotel, close to tube station, many restaurants, pleasant walks in South Kensington, close to free museums, helpful staff. The rooms were small, but clean; the breakfast was good with lots of variety and replenished often. However, it did get quite busy in the breakfast room, so come early, or come a bit later and the crowds die down.

Lovely hotel just 3 mins walk from the tube stn. Quiet street and great location. The room was small and I found the shower a tight squeeze, but maybe not u usual for London hotels. Staff are friendly and helpful, we will use this hotel again.

Brilliantly located for getting around London but off the main road. Staff friendly and helpful - checked us in a bit early. Clean, comfortable room with good facilities and some lovely touches - bottles of water and a chocolate bar, there was also a good selection of papers available in reception. Nice quiet air con which was much needed in the current heat wave! The room was quiet, the curtains decently thick so no sunlight getting through in the morning to wake us up early. I left a very satisfied customer and will certainly look to book here again in future if staying in London.

Second time staying here with work and it was another fab stay. Staff always friendly. The room was well presented and breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel is ideal right next to Earls Court tube station with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Thank you and hopefully see you again.

The hotel is clean and very close to the Tube but the room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in my life. As small as crawling so you don't hit your head with the TV.... small as you have to jump the bed tp get to the other side... small that if you open your luggage you definitely have to jump around to get in and out of the bathroom... small as you have to take turns to get out of the door... yup... that small

The hotel is listed as a four star but it is at best a 2 star. I don't know where to begin, If you are anywhere above average size, this is not for you, the room is tiny, has gross carpeting and not set up in logical way. The bathroom is a whole other issue. You can not sit on the toilet because it's about 8 inches away from the wall, so you have to sit sideways or put your leg across before sitting to get in position. Just doesn't make any sense!!! The shower is just as small, I banged my elbows against the shower door just shampooing my hair. The fan in bathroom didn't work. The TV is at the side of the bed, not in front of it and full size not queen. Just not welcoming after you've had a long day walking around and want to rest. I realize you get what you pay for and lesson learned. I will say the location is fantastic and staff was nice but would not book again.

We have a group of four families traveling together and hence I'm guessing it's a pretty representative sample. The rooms are expectedly small, which we understand given Central London. However, the condition is quite terrible. Of our four rooms, one is stinking, another one doesn't have the AC working so they offered a rickety fan, and a third is so small it doesn't have bed access from both sides. We had booked because we had good experiences in Best Western properties in the US, but they should definitely pull their licencing agreement from this one. The rooms at the LG level are the worst in the hotel so if you get those ask the front desk to change your room. The location is the saving grace, and the breakfast spread is good with good service.

Booked for two nights while in London on our way to Belfast. Our room wasn't ready on arrival at 10h00, so we had to come back at 14h00, but our luggage was kept safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are really small, smaller than the picture of the room we booked, but not such that we wanted to complain. Clean room and en-suite bathroom. Great breakfast at an additional charge. All in all good.

Stayed here in June for a conference ( 4 nights) prior to booking o phones and asked did they have baths in any rooms as I needed a bath and they confirmed they did. So we booked. Arrived and checked in no problems went up to the room and no bath.... spoke to reception who said the hotel had no rooms with baths! As we had already checked in and needed to head to Olympia to set up I left it and said I didn't appreciate being told on the phone they had baths when they don't and I wouldn't have booked had I known they don't! Didn't dwell on it until speaking to a colleague on Tuesday who checked in ( we had 6 rooms in total) when lo and behold their room has a bath!!!!! Really don't like being lied to at all! Rooms are very compact and small with no room to put clothes away apart from a small wardrobe no draws etc... bed was really hard and I had trouble sleeping so asked for a spare sheet so I could sleep on top of the duvet ( when I explained why, the 2 young girls on reception that evening decided this was hilarious and has a good laugh at my expense) The day after, the sheet has been taken but the cleaner had left me a lovely Soaking wet pillowcase on top of my folded clothes on the chair.... took this to reception and again requested the sheet! No explanation as to why a wet pillowcase was on my lovely clean folded clothes??? Did not leave me with a good impression at all and would not book this hotel again.

The hotel is in a peaceful locality about 5 minutes walk from Earls Court Tube station. Although it is 4 Star the rooms are rather small. However, the rooms and neat, clean and properly maintained. Breakfast is included when booked directly on their site. The breakfast spread although not lavish was adequate. They really make good omelettes. Always ask for rooms facing the main road. The staff were helpful, polite and always smiling.

The room was hot but air conditioning was supplied for free. The room was on the small side and the en-suite was very cramped, if fact you could rest your head on the bathroom wall in front of you while sat on the loo. Overall the room was tidy and had everything we needed

Close to Earls Court tube station - 5 minute walk, which gives good access to London. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lift upstairs to the upstairs is incredibly small. Two people with small bag can only fit in. Room was comfortable and beds comfy Air con was excellent

The Hotel was in a great location and convenient to where we were going but the rooms and bathroom were very small. They tried to move us as there was a mix up with bookings. Refused it as we booked it for the location.

Nice small hotel, staff in general were very friendly, waitress serving breakfast was not as friendly as the reception team. Only thing that was not good, the lift was out of order for two out of our three day stay.

We stayed here for two nights for the London 10,000 event on Bank Holiday Monday and it was overall a great stay. It is a small hotel, but it has everything you need. The staff were so friendly, did everything they could to help. We did have the fire alarm go off at 2am but the staff were extremely apologetic as it was a false alarm. So close to Earls Court tube station. The street itself looks grand but in reality probably isn't the nicest, however the hotel is the best on the street and i'd be more than happy to stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

This property probably thinks of itself as a “boutique” hotel, but the reality is that small is not necessarily quaint. Sometimes it's just plain small. Rooms at the Boltons are akin to standard cabins aboard most cruise ships, although they feel even more cramped because the cruise lines obviously have more expertise in space efficiency. Beds are doubles; not queens, although I must admit I found ours to be comfortable. We knew the Boltons would not meet the needs of our group long before we went there, but unfortunately the inquiry we had made was translated into a “booking”, and the hotel refused to refund any portion of it. Because the rooms are so small (squeezing a third person onto a cot is out of the question) we were forced to rent an extra “double” room…and guess what? We found the hotel next door charged 25 per cent less than Boltons (90 pounds vs 120 per night). The difference was that the “London Town” Hotel would never have drawn our attention when making reservations from Canada. We were attracted to Boltons because of the familiar name on the masthead, but ultimately found no similarity between it and the chain with which we are familiar in North America. We were disappointed that Best Western was of no assistance in our attempts to cancel the booking. Perhaps other travelers are quicker to reject Best Western Boltons than we were. Twice during our stay we found ourselves taking cabs back to the hotel at night. On both occasions drivers reported they had never heard of it, and had trouble locating it. One tried to drop us at another Best Western, which fortunately turned out to be only two or three blocks away. On the plus side the staff were pleasant enough, and the bonus in the hotel was that each room was provided with an iphone with data...useful for tourists trying to navigate the city. The location is within the loop taken by the hop-on/hop-off tourist buses, about an eight block walk to the nearest hop-on stop. Tour tickets are available at the hotel front desk.

Stayed here for one night as a stopover in London. Less than 5 minute walk from Earls Court tube station. The staff at reception were really nice and helpful. Reception open 24/7. The room was small but had everything you need. Didn't have breakfast but pre-booking was advised to get a cheaper price.

Good priced hotel v close to Earl's Court. Our room was very small but all in all an ok hotel. Clean and freshly smell. Breakfast was ok, but veggies and cheese a bit dry, not freashly cut. Staff very friendly and helpful!!!

We stayed here for the Army V Navy Rugby, excellent location, lots of shops, bars, cafe's and restaurants close by, short walk to Earl's Court train station. Room was lovely, comfy beds, lovely toiletries and gorgeous towels and dressing gowns. Brilliant value

Good 4-star hotel in Kensington with friendly and helpful staff. It looks like the hotel is an old London house turned into an hotel. I stayed in two rooms and they were both well designed and practical. The first room was in the basement and it was quite dark. The second one was at a higher floor and it was quite pleasant. WiFi is free, good speed and stable. Breakfast room is small and sometimes I had to wait for other guests to finish and leave. Overall it was a pleasant experience

Booked this hotel with a family room for a two night stay 26th to 28th April. Location is great with Earls Court Tube station nearby and so much within walking distance such as shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and good London pubs. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Booking in was a quick process, we got to our room changed and left via a taxi called by reception for afternoon tea at the Kensington Hotel (1st class hotel). Returned to the hotel later in the evening room 107 is on the first floor to the rear of the hotel, view over and across rear gardens of properties opposite with greenery. A large window which you can open for fresh air. Room was quiet except for overflying aircraft every minute or so. Made the following observations regarding the room: For a family room appeared small, single bed in alcove and a double opposite, have to be slim to sqeeze between the foot of the double bed and wall where the large excellant tv is mounted gap must be 12" or so? Storage is good 3 side tables, wardrobe and a dresser although missing a mirror over this, so ladies will have to use the wall mounted mirror to the side. Safe, hairdryer, iron and board plus plug adaptor provided! Bed firm, pillows hard although hotel provided hollow fibre ones as could not have down/ feather due to allergies. A nice touch by the hotel to our request at booking. Room was looking tired, corner of walls near entrance door marked could have benefited from a wipe down as was wallpapered, also the odd tear beneath the tv. Carpet was marked in a number of areas would benefit from a clean, wouldnt want a child sitting on it. Bathroom in parts is in need of some attention, plug turn opening and close mechanism on side of bath clearly has been in need of replacement for some time.....botched up with white mastic seal and does not work when turned. Shower screen seal strip dirty full of mould very unsightly and unhygenic. Near toilet seat could smell odour not pleasant, at end of 2nd day.....water around loofer brush on floor was not pleasant. Otherwise decent sized bathroom, sink, toilet and bath otherwise clean with lovely towels. Did not eat in the hotel so can't comment. Would we visit again? I think I would as a couple but not if needed a family room. Shopping Kensington High Street and Kings Road great good restaurants, bistros and bars.

This hotel worth no more than £50 a night!! Then there's a breakfast that's not fit for human consumption, I say this as I took one look at the food that was chaos and that was no where near worth £10,went to Starbucks instead. Utterly disgusting service and quality... spend a few more £££ and stay elsewhere!!

Even though the building is an old building and the rooms are kind of cramped and really small, the staff was great, and the checkin was flawless. The bed is really comfortable, and we got almost no noise throughout the night. The location is wonderful, only a few meters away from Earl's Court underground station and one of the main streets of the neighbourhood.

Stayed here for one night visiting London. Staff were accommodating and helpful on arrival, nothing was too much trouble - they even called the room to ask if everything was OK with the room, a nice touch. Room was clean and had everything required. Great hotel.

Stayed for three nights. Nice location that is close to underground and city center. OK room and breakfast. Friendly staff and good value for money hotel. Fire alarm falsely went off at seven in the morning.

Small and friendly. Well located and excellent value. Would definitely stay again. Had room G4 on the ground floor that was easy to access and a good size for a central London room. After check in someone came to my room and asked if I needed anything. I asked for a small jug of milk for a cup of tea and the lady happily obliged - many other hotels decline this request. Little touches like this make a big difference.

Booked two exec suites for a holiday theatre trip with my teenage daughter with ASD. Phoned ahead to ensure the rooms we were allocated were close by and although I had to agree to a downgrade to ensure this, I was very happy with the approach of staff and secured adjacent rooms. However, on arrival we found that another member of staff had reallocated the rooms and we were on separate floors. To be fair reception tried hard to address the issue, but we ended up with two very poor lower ground rooms having no other option we accepted, the staff member offered a 50% reduction and free breakfast. However, the rooms were small and located underneath the breakfast rooms with sounds of scraping chairs, heavy footsteps, and my daughter with ASD was disturbed twice by housekerping, once while getting dressed. My room had the odour of cigarettes and outside the window was a discarded coke bottle and cigarette buts. Breakfast was poor, the salmon and cheeses and meats advertised were miniscule and appeared to have been out for hours. I returned my complementary breakfast slips and requested a refund for the second night and was offered a 50% discount. Staff did offer to move us, but by this time my daughter's stress levels were high and more disruption would only have compounded the problems the hotel caused. I did ask if the hotel had an equalities or disability access policy, only to be told they didn't know. Some staff tried, but others less so. I really would not recommend this hotel if you have anything other than basic needs, certainly not going to use it again.

While our over all experience was good there were several problems that tainted the whole experience. Several mornings there was no hot water for showering. We then tried changing to evening showerering but it was still hit or miss with the hot water. An other disappointment was the staff. We arrived after a long red eye flight and our room was not ready. Instead of trying to help remedy the situation, the receptionist was rude and blamed us for the problem. On the other hand we did enjoy that the hotel was clean, modern and had a great set up for in room morning coffee.

Stayed at this hotel not long ago, the room was one of the cleanest I saw,from the many I often visit with travel. Nice fast check-in & check-out but one of the things that terrified me was the attitude of the kitchen supervisor, a blonde lady which was answering to requests indolent, like how dare we to disturb her from her phone chat. From a 4* hotel you expect people to treat you with respect , which wasn't the case in here.

The Boltons is close to the Earls Court Subway station and has lots of food choices in the vicinity. The hotel itself is rather small but has nice rooms. The lift is very small and can only be used by one person if you have suitcases. Our reception staff was friendly but I felt she was a little overwhelmed with the task of checking us in. The rooms next to the lift have a humming noice especially in the bathroom when the lift is operating. It feels like a minor earthquake but dissipates as soon as the lift stops. Fortunately the lift wasn't used too much by the guests.

My husband and 14 year old daughter and I just returned from a six night stay at the Boltons. I can't say enough good about our experience. Check-in was easy, our room was clean and although it was small (maybe 150 square feet) the layout good. In fact, our daughter's twin bed was tucked into an alcove which gave us all a little of our own space. The location can't be beat either. The hotel is about 300 metres away from an underground stop. I have read some of the reviews saying that the hotel needed some updating. I disagree with this. It was clean and modern and there were great amenities (particularly for a mid-priced hotel). There was even a kettle with coffee, tea, etc, in each room that we made good use of. Breakfast was very good. There was a good variety of food for everyone. Eggs, sausage, bacon as well as yogourt, fruit, cereal and your choice of juice. The cappuccino was also great. Elena who worked in the breakfast room was a real stand-out. She was hospitable and efficient and made everyone feel welcome. We travel alot as a family and we have stayed in budget to luxury hotels and the Boltons ranks in our top five. Not because it was the most luxurious but because this hotel got it right particularly with the things that really matter to be comfortable in a hotel. Oh yes - the beds and pillows are great.

This is a small, cozy hotel right around the corner from Earl's Court Tube station so close to restaurants, shops, stores, and a few pubs. Room (#109) was good size4 double (for London) with most modern conveniences except for an in-room fridge. Because I was staying for 7 nights I was considered a "long term" stay and was provided with a letter at check-in with what upgraded amenities would be provided. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of them. No turn down service, no complimentary water in room, no snacks provided in room, etc. Oh well. No big deal to me, but more discerning guests may have had a problem. Other downsides during my stay: property-wide fire alarm went off on three separate occasions causing some concern amongst guests. One day there was no hot water in the evening, and on another day the bathroom fan system stopped working altogether. The positives: as mentioned the location is great, wifi is fast and free, staff very friendly, and the TV in my room was huge. Would stay again if I got a good deal.

Well received, this small hotel in Earls Court is near to the Earls Court Road. The room was small, and my double bed was two singles pushed together. The finish was contemporary but had started to look worn. A hole in the carpet was hidden by a chair. Comfortable and clean, and for the price great value.

I was supposed to stay here in a single room but my friend decided to join me from another hotel. I requested an upgrade to a twin room. They upgraded us to a family room instead. Great experience, friendly staff and comfortable room with basic amenities. My friend and I had a pleasant stay. Very near to Earls court station and safe environment.

This is a nice hotel the staff are friendly. The hotel is well located for the museums and the tube is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there are lots of places to eat within a few minutes walk.

I was there with a group and had a great experience. My room (204) was tiny, but maybe that's just London. The people were very friendly!! And a note about breakfast: It's 10£ if you reserve breakfast the day before, and 12.50£ if you show up that day. It's a pretty great buffet-style arrangement, eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, pastries, jams, breads, fruits, yoghurt, made-to-order things like pancakes--and all you can drink coffees including espresso and lattes. Definitely worth it, and to reserve early. Aside from being in a room with single-pane windows, making it maybe a tad chilly, I was very satisfied with everything. Oh, and it being Valentine's Day, I was greeted with a red balloon attached to muffins and jam. Nice touch!

Extremely close to the Earl's Court Station and also close to a lively and full of facilities street such as restaurants, chemists, shops etc. The hotel is simple and small, but very cozy and confortable. The Staff is very gentil and kind, always willing to help and the breakfast is fresh served with a variety of options. It is not a luxurious hotel, but is a good base B&B for the ones who plan to visit London using the tube.

Great location, 5 minute walk to EC tube station. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within short walking distance too. Hotel looked pretty good from outside. Given room on 3rd floor which was tiny, could touch the ceiling easily (I'm 5'10), double bed was small. Requested a room move, given 1st floor room, bit bigger bed, room and higher ceiling. Room was cold at night due to old windows, asked for radiator. Shower didn't work one morning, only cold water. Our room wasn't serviced by 4:30pm, had to request it done and wait downstairs. Breakfast was nice, lots on offer, waitresses do their very best with cramped conditions. Pros: - Staff very well mannered, very accommodating. - Location Cons: - Very small rooms. - Very Very small lift. - Room wasn't made up by 4:30pm

Stayed here for four nights. Location was great, just around the corner from Earls Court underground and about 15 min. walk to V&A. Breakfast buffet was better than in most budget hotels. Staff were very good. Windows were old and rattled with the wind but a coin wedged in solved that. Would stay here again. Got a great deal.

Welcoming staff and a gift bag for loyalty club membes on arrival for a 2 night stay. The room was a good size for London and though initially noisy once the window was closed the room was silent. We needed an email printing during our stay and reception were really helpful sorting it out. Breakfast was plentiful and again served by helpful and friendly staff. The only negative of the stay was the lack of hot water on our first morning, cold shower in February, not good! The front desk were informed and they told us an engineer had been called. Other reviews detailed a lack of hot water and on checking out after our second morning another guest was complaining of a lack of hot water. He was told it was being looked at. I suspect the problem is a lack of capacity when the hotel is busy. Either way the hotel needs to sort their problem. Otherwise a good hotel.

This is a little gem of a hotel in Earl's Court, near excellent transportation and restaurants. It looks newly remodeled with modern furnishings, and excellent breakfast. If you need clean, modern, comfortable housing, and don't need extra features like a gym, spa or pool, you'll find this delightful - and a short block walk to Earl's Court Underground tube system.

With it being a special anniversary we visited London and saw this hotel was advertised as 4* in Kensington, it was very well marketed showing nice spacious rooms with bright decor so we booked straight away. The room we were put in was completely not what we expected. We understand space is limited in London however the room was tiny. We kept bumping into each other when trying to get ready to go out and our knees pretty much touched the sink when using the toilet. The decor was very out dated with many stains on walls / carpets and marked furniture. There was a hair in the bath which I never thought would bother me but it wasn't at all pleasant. The room was not sound proof so we could hear the guys next door talking through the night which disturbed our sleep. Make sure not to stay on the Lower ground if you decide to give this hotel a chance. The next morning we were shocked to find there was no hot water so we had to have a cold shower, we discussed this with reception but they say because a large group of people just checked out they may have all showered beforehand???? This isn't really the best excuse. The staff were nice and location excellent. We made the complaint so others staying there could have a better experience. We were offered discount to stay again but declined because we still feel the room would be overpriced for what it is unfortunately. This hotel has great potential!

If what you want is sleep and hit the road... This is the place. Super nice, small like all in London, and clean rooms. Very quite. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Great location, near the tube. Definitely recommended.

Generally friendly staff, nice breakfast and comfortable room. Although the sound insulation between rooms was poor. The hotel was very well located, with a very short walk to Earl's Court Underground station as well as shops and eateries.

They give us a room in the basement, which was really very small with no day light - with which we were very disappointed! Otherwise the cleanliness is okay and room was quite modern. Breakfast is to expensive, so we didn't take it. Hotel is in good location, near metro.

Following a misunderstanding when booking through booking.com the staff at the hotel moved quickly to rectify the situation and couldn't have been more helpful, well located hotel for underground in a nice part of London.

If you go to this hotel, make sure they do not give you the room in the basement. It reminded me of my student days. I can only describe it as a cubbyhole. The ceiling over the bath/shower made it impossible to have a shower standing up. The toilet was positioned right up against a side wall. The room was tiny and access was poor. I was told I was given this room because it was the last room available in the hotel. I write this review because last week I e-mailed the hotel making a complaint, but to date I have not had a response. Otherwise, it looked to be a good hotel, with a fine breakfast.

Very comfortable and well located for transport links. The room was small but more than adequate for a person travelling solo. The bathroom was good with a decent shower and tea and coffee was provided in the room. I would definitely stay there again if I could get a good deal.

very nice location, near to underground station and in nice area, staff really willing to service and cover your needs and all of them were polite, rooms were a bit small as well as the breakfast area

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel gave us an handy which is a phone with unlimited internet and calls. The phone saved us money and was very helpful. The hotel located in good neighborhood next to the underground, coffee houses and m&s.

Travelled from Yorkshire to Kings Cross Piccadilly line to Earls Courtout turn right out of the Station first right 200 yards down the road & there it was. Staff extremely welcoming ... loved the Phine Buddy if I had stayed longer it would have been brilliant . Lovely comfy bed room 306 very quiet big tv .

Stayed at this hotel for a one night break for our anniversary and to go to Winter Wonderland. They upgraded us on arrival which was lovely, so our room had a Nespresso machine and a few extras. The room was still pretty small however we did not need any more room as we were only there for one night. Hotel was clean and tidy and staff were friendly however I asked for some more milk and coffee pods which the receptionist looked for but could not find, she was very polite and offered to have a look and bring them to us, which she did however they had run out of coffee pods; although I know it's not the end of the world and we could still have instant coffee but to offer the service and then not have the supplies seemed a little odd! Again not the fault of the staff as they did everything they could to make the stay great. Would use this hotel again, as in a handy location.

It was a nice hotel, check-in was smooth and the room was small but clean. However, at around 6am the noise started and I was unable to get to sleep again. It was as if someone was constantly rolling and stomping across the roof. With check-out at 11am this was at least 4 hours of sleep lost. I asked the front desk about the noise (at 9am when I finally gave up trying to sleep with earphones) and they said that my room was located underneath the kitchen and they knew about the potential for noise issues. They offered me a discount "on the hours of sleep lost" for my next stay. I don't think that this is acceptable service, particularly as they seem to have known about the issue. Beware of booking this place in the future, particularly if they try to put you in a room in the lower ground!

I definitely will return again to stay in this cosy b&b.There are many restaurants and cafes nearby and Earl's Court Underground station is walking distance (less than 500 metres) away. Good value for money given its location and Best Western brand

My dad and I spent a weekend in London for Christmas shopping. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise; it's connected to the District and Piccadilly line which makes going around the city very easy, and it's in a lovely little area with a lot of small shops that are convenient fo eating out or shopping for forgotten items (Boots, M&S, some pubs...). Both the interior and exterior of the hotel are tidy and welcoming. Our room had excellent heating and a great bathroom, everything was clean and the bathrobes were as fluffy as one can wish for. There were enough plugs for all equipment - the only thing I would have liked to have was a blow-dryer. Breakfast was uncomplicated, the staff served hot beverages and freshly made food alongside the buffet that had a rich selection of cheeses, fruit, and other breakfast food such as beans, scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, and juices. The staff assisted me with my food allergy and kindly directed me towards the suitable breakfast items, which was very considerate and nice. Check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and it was possible to leave our bags there even after we checked out so we wouldn't have to carry them around the city all day. Overall, we were very satisfied and would visit again!

What a disappointment! I booked 6 nights at The Best Western Boltons on Hotels.com. I chose to book it through Hotels.com because this stay would mean I would receive a free night stay on my next hotels.com booking. I must have poured over the hotel choices in London for several weeks and countless hours. My biggest concern was bed size. It was my first time in London, but nowhere near my first time abroad. 32 countries and counting. I quickly discovered that the standard in London was 1 double bed. This gave me pause because my husband is a rather large fellow and I am currently pregnant so I too am larger than normal. We've never slept in a double bed before and since we were staying 6 nights I wanted to be comfortable. Sadly, hotels.com did not have a filter to search for rooms with king and queen beds, so again I spent hours "saving" and "favoriting" hotels that listed a queen or king bed instead of a double. I had it narrowed down to about 5 hotels and I chose this one because it was the least expensive option for a "King Executive Room." Perhaps the fact that it was less expensive should have tipped me off that something was amiss, but it was not extravagantly cheaper. It was at the Earl's Court tube stop instead of the Gloucester Rd or South Kensington stop so it was a little farther out which would make it less expensive. Finally, the other hotels I looked at were slightly better names like Doubletree so the price made sense. We arrived Sunday at 9am. We were able to fill out paperwork and drop off our luggage. We were told our room would be ready at 2. When we arrived at 2 we got our keys and went up to the room and I was horrified. I cam back downstairs and said there must be a mistake. I reserved an executive king. This room is the size of a closet with a double bed. Nope, this is the only bed size they have I was told. The woman at reception had long brown/blonde ombre hair. I was clearly upset. I asked if anything can be done. I was told I couldn't leave because my reservation was prepaid for the week. I could pay $160 more for 2 twins if I preferred, but those were my options. I also received a snarky comment about "Welcome to London, we don't have American size king beds. That is a king bed here." This is what really sent me over the edge. If this is a king bed here then what were the queens and doubles that other hotels had? Also, I am upset and you are in customer service. The proper thing to do is to try and figure out how you can accommodate me, not make a snide comment about my cultural expectations. The nice thing to do would be to offer me a free upgrade to the two twins, or at least make a gesture of offering me a free breakfast. Anything, any gesture, would have been appreciated. I returned to the room where I spend an hour on the phone with hotels.com who at first acted like they would help me, only to tell me that they spoke with the hotel and indeed I was in a king executive room. Hotels.com gave me an even nastier, "London kings are not the same as American kings." When I asked the agent then what is a London queen and a London double she didn't have an answer I would also like to point out that Hotels.com is an American website and should know what Americans expect with king, queen, double, etc. Needless to say I won't be using hotels.com to book international ever again, and may not use them at all in the future. Also, fyi, they do have king beds in some London hotels. We had friends staying near Victoria tube with a king bed. So we reluctantly stayed in our closet of a room for the week and things didn't get much better. My husband complained that the bed hurt his back. I nearly fell out of the tiny bed twice. The shower was a claustrophobic nightmare, and the toilet never seem to flush properly all week. I told the ombre haired lady at the front desk one day before we went out but she was the one who all but called me a stupid American so I am not surprised that it was never fixed/addressed. The room was also crazy loud. Our street seemed pretty quiet, but it wasn't. You could hear everything through those windows. It was Times Square loud. The only positives I can say is the location is super close to Earl's Court tube which although at the End of Zone 1 is pretty convenient since it is on both the district line and Piccadilly line. Also, the room did have a tea kettle, hair dryer, adapter, and even a free cell phone you could use. The hotel did have a lift, but it barely held 2 people or 1 person and 1 suitcase. Overall, I was terribly unsatisfied with my stay and the fact that I made my displeasure known and not even the smallest gesture was made to assuage my disappointment or fix our malfunctioning toilet just really irritated me. Finally, as we came in last night and checked out this morning there were other guests complaining about the size of the room and the loudness of the room so clearly we are not the only ones displeased and this hotel just doesn't care.

Nice small hotel in very convenient area near Earls Ct Tube Station with direct access to Heathrow Airport. Lots of restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, convenience stores near by the hotel. The hotel staff is quite pleasant and the rooms quite comfortable. I recommend this property.

Lovely hotel just the room was far to small for a double,it was at the top of the hotel in the eves could not stand up near the window to get into bed.It would make a lovely single room.the bathroom also to small

Space appears to be at a real premium at this hotel. Our room was very tight to get around and the breakfast lounge soon filled up, leaving no available seats. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but appeared hard-pressed on occasion. Quiet road and convenient location.

Short staffed hotel... Waited 20 minutes to check in with 1 receptionist working at 2pm on a Saturday..very unorganized. Smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in...not even room on my side of the bed for a bedside table (And we are not big people!).. lipstick mark around fresh coffee cup ..hence didn't bother with a morning coffee! Bathroom fitted in with the room...SMALL with no space. Cooked breakfast bland, bacon so streaky it would have out run Erika Rowe!, fried eggs like rubber & watered down fruit juice. Good range of cereals/croissants/preserves and fruit... stayed In many Best Western hotels and this one does not deserve the Best Western name

The Breakfast was great and also the Crew was friendly. The Rooms and the bath are clean. You are nearby Earls Court Sub Station and there a lot of possibilities to eat. But we had to move 3 times. First the room was too tiny for 2 person with a very little bed. So we did the upgrade. But then we had another problem - die Heater wasn't working. It got incredible cold and my husband even got sick. That is horrible because we have been on honeymoon. So we complained and got another room - and we have been told that we don't have to pay the full upgrade because of the inconvenience. But we had the same problem in the last room and even i got sick too. But he best was that when we checked out the guy on the reception told us that we have to pay the full update. I was really upset because we even asked the night before checkout because we called an Uber for 4am to get our flight. Thats totally not okay, we had to move 3 times - and we don't even got any compensation. Shame on you guys - for this prices its totally not okay.
