"Wouldn't stay here again but safe and gets the job done in a pinch"

The carpets are filthy and the place is TINY but it gets the job done if you are in town for a night or so. The staff was sufficient though not overly helpful and friendly (with the exception of one very helpful young lad). Located near a gym and some shops like H&M and a discount clothing store with some cafes nearby as well. quick walk to Hammersmith tube station as well. My room may have been an exception but the A/C didn't work for most of the day (though maybe it was for energy saving and was just set higher than I had hoped), my TV didn't work, the phone didn't work and neither did my teapot. Maybe I have some sort of EM field around me but I found it odd that literally nothing electrical in my room worked except for the hair dryer. I tried to get some work done on my laptop with the Wifi but the data is a very limited amount so I barely got anything done before it shut me down. I was in a very Zen state when I arrived after a week long spiritual retreat so I would say, if you aren't SUPER laid back and easy going....find another place!

Nicely refurbished and convenient location. It is close to the station, shops (next door to Primark) and restaurants. Rooms not very big but stylish. Continental breakfast only. Bed was comfortable and little noise from the street outside.

Worst experience ever me & my arrived from Toronto on 3 & 4 August staff were not too friendly as we were from a another planet. Room were far too small even to keep our bags compared to Canadian chain of best western hotels. On checking out day the ( August 4 ) the receptionist was too rude we requested a taxi to Liverpool street railway station we asked to go out and fetch one Hammersmith station without even making a call to a taxi company.

I am very surprised at what you mentioned with regards to calling a taxi because we normally get very good comments about the staff. I am sorry about the room size because there is not a lot that can be done about that. With regards to the taxi service the only reason I can see why the receptionist asked you to get one from the rank perhaps is because sometimes they tell us in advance that there are no taxis and that the minimum waiting time could ebin excess of 1 hour. Perfect location. Good and clean rooms. Nice Breakfast. Lots of Indian;Italian and Thai Restaurants at walking distance from the hotel. There is a shopping mall just outside the hotel. Supermarket just across the street. At a walking distance to Hammersmith Underground and bus station.

"Not an 4* hotel (more 3*), one of the cheapest near Hammersmith station"

This is not a 4* hotel, but more like a 3* I would say. Rooms are fairly small and breakfast is really basic. This hotel is most of the time the one of the cheapest near Hammersmith station and is perhaps a bit to expensive if you consider to be a really 3* and not and not a 4* hotel. If you book in a quite period you could stay in a much better hotel in the same area for around the same price (or just a little bit higher) Good for 1 night stay if you really want to book the cheapest in that area.....not for very long stays.

I believe the star ratings can be confusing to guests because the hotel is actually 4 star guest accommodation which is totally different from a 4 star hotel. "Perfect location for us, lovely room"

First of all I'm shocked at the bad reviews on here, when we visited July 21st for the night, we got checked in straight away and allocated a room just along from reception. Yes the room was small but there was only me and my fiancé. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice and roomy. Spacious shower. Towels were clean. Room was clean. Only downside we had was the kettle didn't work properly - boiled for about 5 mins but then didn't stop/switch off, and was boiling to touch. Good choice of breakfast items.

"A disappointing stay"

My party booked two rooms in this hotel: 1 triple room and another double. Unfortunately the standard of room between the triple and the double were vastly different. The triple room only had a sky-lite, making the room appear quite dark and also had no air conditioning, making the room exceptionally stuffy. We spoke to the man on reception regarding the room and its heat issue as we had put the heating down as far as possible and were told that reception could sort the heating and therefore to wait 30 minutes for the room to cool- slightly difficult when you are planning to get ready for our function in there. We waited the suggested time and then spoke again to the man on reception as no change had happened and were told to simply open the window- quite challenging when it was raining heavily outside. I felt like my party and I were being fobbed off and after a final attempt (try number 3( we were finally moved to a room that was much better but clearly wasn't ready for us as had rubbish left in it still. On the positive, the double room that the other half of our party booked seemed clean and pleasant with airy windows and air con. Please anyone considering staying here check the parking policy at the hotel's recommended car park (5 minute walk) as I had called ahead to the hotel and was told a very different story regarding parking of that it would be free after 8pm if staying here. This was not the case and instead I paid a hefty fee. I feel this hotel needs to ensure all staff are trained with the appropriate and correct information on all matters regarding the hotel to ensure the best of services can be provided to those staying with them.

Skylight window with poor AC, very hot. Small room. Moved room No parking. Had rang prior, advised parking free overnight. Not the case. Ended up paying £55 for multi-storey for 20 hrs Breakfast basic

"Do not stay here!"

I was trying to be tolerant of the poor overall condition of this hotel and my room as I was only in it a few hours a day while I was attending school. That was, until I left my room for the day and came back to an empty suitcase with an irreplaceable item with a retail value of 2000 pounds missing from it. My additional suitcase had also had the lock code tampered with in an attempt to break in it. The gm Ronnie came in early to speak to me the next morning and took me to a private office. He listened to my story but then told me that there's no way they're cleaning could have stolen it because they only carry a tote and insisted the object couldn't have been hidden in the dirty large bath towels I left on the floor. He told me he wouldn't pay me a penny for my loss and to file it with my insurance, that the two nights for checking out early would be all I am reimbursed for. And that why would some one steal the object in question as their cleaning staff wouldn't have known the value and wouldn't have cared about possessing it. He was condescending, rude and aggressive towards me while I was alone with him in the office. He passively aggressively accused me of being a liar and trying to defraud his hotel. When I tried to speak more he just got even more defensive and upset. I was calm and took the two nights refund without further debate as I felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the room alone with him and needed to get out of there. He basically said why should he believe me and got even more upset when I brought up the trip advisor reviews he wrote responses to about having to contract a new cleaning company for the hotel. He was superficially nice at first but became angry and defensive once he brought me into his office alone. Never once apologized or showed and empathy was only accusatory and rude. This hotel is in no way of Best Western Plus quality and the website images are exceptionally deceiving. There are stains on the floors throughout the hotel and breakfast furniture. My room had a hole in the carpet by the bed and stain by the door. The wall paper was peeling off the wall in a large area and there was black mold in the corner of the widow by the ceiling. The curtains fell down once but the cleaning staff ignored that and I had to fix them myself. The room was the length of the old worn out twin size bed in the room and basically that wide. They didn't use sheets that fit my bed, a oversized mattress cover hung off the sides and a flat sheet was tucked in with no other sheet or blanket provided except a duvet. I had to request a top sheet every time they made the bed and use a blanket I had with me, as providing only a duvet as bedding in summer (with questionable cleanliness) is unacceptable. Oh and the last night there when my item disappeared they didn't even change the sheets, they just remade the bed with the dirty sheets so I had to get sheets from the desk and make my own bed that night. The furniture was scratched up and worn in my room and the breakfast area. The bathroom lighting is too dark to use for make up. The water is scalding hot if you aren't careful. The WiFi is inconsistent at best and totally nonfunctional on many occasions during my extended stay and it is totally unprotected - no passwords. Also there was rarely more than one person working so the front desk was often unattended, leaving the front entrance unsecured. The air condition was locked to 23 degrees and only turned on and off. Breakfast was cheap cold cuts, fruit, cereal and yogurt. I'm sure the manager will reply to this review with a passive aggressive defense as with all his prior negative reviews. Be assured you will treated with the same disdain and attitude he shows in his replies during your stay by him and his staff. I saw this with other guests during my stay as well. I wish I would have changed my reservations when I saw the decline in ratings and accumulating negative reviews during the time between when I made the reservations and traveling. I should have spent the little bit more to stay somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE THE LOCATION IS NOT WORTH IT

We arrived after a long trip from the states looking forward to a good nights rest. Our room for 4 adults was smaller then our camper trailer. The ac wasn't working on a very hot and humid night. The manager on duty had no idea what to do and would not move us to another room. The next day it was repaired. The breakfast was just ok nothing special. At check out they tried to charge for the room even though it was prepaid. We love the Hammersmith are but will not stay here again. Be aware at check in and out.

Our double room on the top floor was really small. It looked fairly clean and was quite bright with a small window. We noticed a strong smell of chemicals which got slightly better after we got the ac going. The hotel staff was friendly.

"Location okay, hotel not so much."

Pros: bed was comfortable,liked the area... Hammersmith is a good place to stay, some staff were okay Cons: Tiny room with bad layout, and dirty with weird sticky stain on carpet, plus hole in floor! Some staff were rude, especially when we asked about our deposit and was told it's not taken until we leave... when it actually HAD been taken. Heard bad reports about the breakfast so decided not to have it. They say that there are take aways that deliver to your room available from reception, actually there is only one.

I think it is important that I do clear a few misunderstandings. to begin with we do not take any deposit just a pre authorisation which is clearly indicated on the slip that you were handed over. Breakfast is actually complimentary and your choice if you do not want to avail of it. There are fresh fruits choice of bread, croissant, selection of meats, yoghurts etc. In fact over 15 items in addition to a vast selection of teas and coffee. I would just like to say that we had a lovely stay the staff were friendly and helpfull the room we had was rearly nice up grade we had a good night sleep the bed was cosy and the room was nice and cool shower was lovely and the breakfast was nice staff kept topping things up when things got low and the hotel was placed just right for our trips out the underground at the end of the street once again had a lovely couple of days we will be going back again many thanks to the staff for all you done

"Great room on the Third floor"

The room was great, and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was good, but for best part of £150 a night i'd kind of expect full breakfast to be included. (I think a cooked breakfast was and extra £15 I'm not 100% on that price) There was however a continental breakfast included which was well stocked. The room i stayed in had a large skylight window. but no actual windows. Very pleasant stay and staff very helpful and friendly. 8/10 in my book. I would stay again if I were on another course in Hammersmith.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel from the moment you walk in you can see it's a chic hotel nicely decorated and very clean spotless in fact . The staff on the front desk met us with genuine smiles and were so friendly and welcoming we instantly felt at ease . We were upgraded to a superior room which was a so appreciated Thank you . which was nicely decorated and was spotless . It was light and airy and cool as it was so hot outside . We slept very well . The shower was brilliant. Breakfast was Continental style there was plenty to choose from you won't go hungry and staff were always topping the food up . it felt a very relaxed start to the day . We will definitely be coming back to this smashing hotel we look forward to seeing you again thank you for making our stay so perfect . see you again . I can highly recommend this hotel give it a try you won't regret it .

Location is convenient which is fine. Second day after housekeeping - did not remove the rubbish, did not replce the tissue paper. Wifi is horrible. Look at the telephone in the room as attached in the picture - full of holes?? First time in my life seeing such an awful phone for a hotel. Yes breakfast is free but it is the most basic - just bread, coffee, juice. I requested for a big Window - I didn't ask for a hole in the ceiling! The whole window is right at the ceiling??? Not for light sleepers. When a white guy at the breakfast asked for late check out 3pm, the staff (looks Pakistani), said okay. When we asked for 30 minutes extension (to 1.30pm), the same dude said we need to pay extra 10 pounds. What is this? Racism? Discrimination? What we cannot accept is that the housekeeping did a very bad job, what is the point of staying in the hotel when housekeeping is rubbish. And this hotel is clearly discriminating us - this hotel promotes white supremacy? I am actually very angry at the hotel for doing this. We did not pay to put up to this level of service, thinking that Best Western is an international brand but this is certainly not international service!

They also have blackout blinds . To be honest I am slightly surprised at the content of your review as you are claiming racism against you because you have already contacted us via Expedia asking for a refund. We never allow free stay to 3pm and the maximum is one hour after departure which is 12 noon. In your case you were actually given free stay till 1.30pm. Regards Ronnie

"Give it a miss. Don't bother."

So I stayed here with friends in May of this year. We checked into our room to find that the duvet had been folded at the bottom of the bed WITH NO DUVET SHEET. The duvet its self was covered in stains. I went to the reception desk thinking that maybe this was a oversight and the housekeeping team may have forgotten to put sheets on the duvets. The receptionist came to the room to basically say Oh yeah this happens sometimes. I'm sorry but the ONE thing you want from a hotel stay is a clean bed to sleep in with clean sheets. I then had to ask for some flat sheets that my friends and myself could use to cover us while we slept. The wifi didn't work, the TV signal was rubbish, the room was far too hot and the breakfast was mediocre at best. That night the manager was not in so the next morning I went to the desk and was told again Oh yeah that can happen because our laundry gets sent elsewhere. I then sent an email to the customer service team through their website ( best western ) To receive an email back saying they will look into it and get back to me although no one ever did. I sent a other email and again I was not responded to. Do not stay in this hotel or any best western for that matter. I shall never again! Customer service is shocking and I've never had such a bad night sleep.

"Good value for money"

I think that this hotel is a good value for the money. The rooms are very small, but modern and clean. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. Location is great. It was a good stay overall, but I have stayed in better hotels in this area.

"Very small room, badly serviced by cleaning staff"

We were put here in spite of booking the sister hotel at Hyde Park for a concert in Hyde Park, so we ended up 5 miles away , so it cost us £20 in tube fares as we had to check our bags in before going to the concert which they had to refund I couldn't walk round the end of the bed without bending over to avoid the tv on the wall The bed sheet was a single simply laid on the mattress and didn't cover the sides and wasn't covering the mattress by morning There was a hole in the duvet cover. The bathroom had a stain/mark on the wall in the shower. Luckily it was Sunday night so the outside noise wasn't too bad On the positive it was a big shower cubicle! This is not the standard I expect from Best Western

"Dirty room and very noisy - would not stay again"

I arrived at this hotel at 2.30 AM. The receptionist was very pleasant. When I got to the room, I found out it was not cleaned (bed a mess, rubbish on seat, bathroom not clean). I returned and asked for another room. After a wait for a few minutes, I was given another room (the final one available). This one has a clean bed but the bathroom was not clean at all: sink full of water and hairs, toilet and shower not clean. I tool the room, but only because it was the only one left and it was so late. The room faced the high street and had standard double glazing, which did not insulate any noise on this pretty high traffic road. I travel a great deal and regularly stay at airport hotels that have way better sound insulation. When I went to check out in the morning, I was asked by the receptionist how my stay was. I replied "very poor". She looked a colleague and did not even ask me why I said that. ZERO inquiry as to my statement. Overall, my worst hotel experience in a couple of decades and I travel for work several times each month.

"A bit too expensive for a relatively dirty and small room"

We stayed here for one night as we were going to a festival in Gunnersbury Park in Ealing. The hotel's advantage is that it's close to Hammersmith bus station and one can take direct buses into Chiswick/Acton and also into town/Green Park etc. So accessibility is great, it is in a convenient location. However, for the price paid (114 Pounds, and even that was a membership deal) for a Sunday night, the room itself was sub-standard. It was compact (to say the least), dark, stuffy, noisy (despite having asked for a quiet room) and dirty! There were several big stains on the wall, it looked like food or some bodily fluid had been thrown against the wall and never been wiped off (they weren't just stains, but actual bits of some substance were still on the wall). The carpet had large stains (as if a bottle of wine had been spilled, it could also have been blood for all I know...), the lampshade was stained as well, there were scratches on the wall and the inside of the bathroom door (as if from long fingernails – one was even hand-shaped). The smoke detector had been covered with a plastic film and therefore probably wasn't effective. There was also a funny smell in the room, which didn't clear by opening the window. Not nice!!! This was room 125. Luckily I didn't have to spend too much time in this room and was glad to leave in the morning. The double bed was REALLY small. Luckily, we're small people, but if we weren't, it would be a massive problem. On the plus side, the continental breakfast was OK – not very classy, instead basic, relatively cheap ingredients, but sufficient and enough choice – cereal, fruit salad, cheese, salami, ham, boiled egg, spreads, simple yogurt... The coffee (from a machine) actually tasted quite good. If you wanted a cooked breakfast, it needed to be ordered and cost 5.99 Pounds. We didn't. Bathroom was actually OK, the water was warm/hot and there were no problems. Staff pretty friendly, luggage room available. Overall, it's a functional option, but for that price I would really look for a nicer room next time. I'd rather have a good quality room without breakfast than a pretty disgusting room with an OK breakfast.

Scuff marks on the wall are from luggage bags and the red wine stain will certainly be sorted immediately. This room is on the side which is very quiet and with plenty of natural daylight coming into the room. "Wasn't worth the £152 spent"

The size of the room was far too small, I couldn't pull the chair out all the way as it touched the bed, I couldn't actually walk around the bed I had to climb over as the gap at the end of the bed was tiny and the tv was in the way, the bathroom was also so small, when you sit on the toilet the sink comes over your lap, making it very cramped. This would be better with a single bed and being just for one person, there is not enough space for 2 in this room. Secondly, we were told by the lady on reception at check in that all breakfast was included in the price of the stay, however when we went to breakfast in the morning we were told that only the continental breakfast was free and we had to pay for the cooked breakfast and that there would be a 40 minute wait for this. Why the wait time was so much I don't know but I don't think it's fair to tell someone that breakfast is included free of charge and then on the day tell them something different. In the guest manual in the bedroom it also says breakfast is included and it doesn't note about the additional surcharge. Thirdly, I had a £10 deposit taken. I was not told in advance that was needed, nor was I given an explanation of why this was needed. I asked to pay in cash and was told I couldn't do this and it had to be card. I paid as I didn't really have a choice and I still have not had this £10 refunded to me. The shower was boiling hot and I couldn't turn the temperature down. The WiFi would only work some of the time and we were only on the first floor room 107 so there's no reason for there to be issues.

Breakfast has always been complimentary for continental and this is mentioned on check in. We only charge for cooked breakfast and the price of £5.99 is clearly displayed at the breakfast buffet. With regards to the £10 we have only pre authorised your card and have not taken any monies from your card. The slip that was handed back to you says pre authorisation. We have not had any issue with Wi-Fi reported from previous guests but accept that perhaps it was dropping the signal on the day of your stay. No other guests complained. This hotel is listed as three or four star depending on whose website you see. It's a three really. Booking in we were greeted by really polite and friendly staff, they were also great at breakfast, good continental. The room was nice, bedding and towels clean. The coffee and tea facilities were good. The bed was too hard and the carpet was stained. The bathroom was large and the shower would have been great but for the boiling water that burnt my leg a bit, I had the shower on cool. Our sleep was interrupted due to the constant hum of the airconditioning unit on the flat roof near our window. We were in room 228. Overall I would stay again in a different room. It is near to Hammersmith underground station so easy access into central London.

"scalded by cold water"

The hotel is cheap, my room was very small, the carpet in the stairs and corridor is way past its best, "free" breakfast is acceptable but the worse was the shower experience when the water got hotter and hotter, I turn the setting to cold in a panic, no effect, still getting hotter, I was nearly scalded. Cold water in the sink was so hot I couldn't approach my hand. I complained to reception who ignored me. I managed to get the details of the manager, but clearly the idea that a child or an elderly person may be badly burnt didn't seem to affect the reception staff.

"Never a 4 star hotel"

Just spent 3 nights in this hotel.the size of room was shocking, it was considerably smaller than any budget hotel that I have stayed in, included a double bed , but room was so small that you could not fully pull out chair and use at desk / unit , if chair was pulled out you had to climb over bed to reach other side. Property was very jaded. Breakfast was a bare minimum selection and certainly not comparable to the likes of a Premier Inn. Cleaning of room was minimal and below standard during our stay. Very short of staff, stood at reception desk , which is in the same room as the breakfast area, for 10 minutes at a peak time of 9am in the morning, phones were ringing and reception was unmanned. This hotel charges rates which are way higher than the quality of product and level of service provided. Avoid at all costs.

"After show stay"

Picked this hotel for its location to the Apollo which was perfect, room was very nice with a large shower/en-suite,air con and heating, the bed was maybe a little soft for our liking but that is a personal thing. Only stayed the one night but it was every thing we needed-bar so could have a quiet night cap, continental breakfast with ample choice and quick check in/out. Will be back for sure the next time we go to the Apollo. Book direct and join the reward scheme for a discount.

"Lovely staff ... noisy shabby room !"

Such a pity this hotel is literally 5 minutes from my office. The stair case smells of chips/stale cooking. Reception staff exceptional. Kettle did not work, hairdryer kept blowing the electrics, shower is boiling and has such minimalist control it verges on dangerous. The window is jammed open so the noise from the street pictured kept me awake. Bed was clean comfortable pillows. The breakfast is a great spread pleasant staff. Not worth the £114 I spent

I am sure you will appreciate that is quite abnormal for so may things to go wrong in one go. As we do not cook on the premises the smell that you probably got at the entrance is either coming from KFC next door or maybe guests bringing in take away. I have installed a freshener at the entrance as well as the top of the stairs. The room rates are reflective of the demand in the area and at times can go as low as £99 and upwards of £189. "Slightly misleading photos"

It's fine! I have no major complaints but nothing was extra ordinary, to me the pictures made it seem a little more swish than it actually was. The man at the desk was friendly and printed out my ticket for me which made my evening a lot easier but the hotel generally was very average. Small room with strange waxy stain on the floor near bathroom and only window in an alcove that meant very little natural light in the room - I know I wasn't there for a photoshoot but it felt quite claustrophobic! I'm staying in Hammersmith again in a few months and will be forking out a little extra to stay at LUMA instead!

Very very very small room. Clean enough and not a problem for just needing to put your head down when you're away for work. Free WiFi won't sync emails for some reason. However the amazing shower made up for the small room Clean room with a decent continental breakfast. No qualms about my star other than the size of the room and not sure how it's a 4 star accommodation when I've stayed in cheaper, much bigger hotels for less money

This hotel is rated 4 stars and priced accordingly. However, it's far from the standards of other European capitals. Spent two nights in two different rooms. 1st one was a double + sofa. Which should never be used by any human being. Plus some moisture on the ceiling of the room. Second one was a triple. Much better. Breakfast is (on the low side of) average. The location is quite good, and the staff is excellent.

We spent one night here. Room was small and cute. Thick carpet. Cold buffet breakfast was served and it came with the price of the room. Staff were courteous and helpful. It was a pleasant stay. Lots of shop located near this hotel..including primark, mark n spencer, etc. Westfield shopping center is about 2 km away.

"Marathon weekend break "

Short walk from Tube stn with comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked for alternative room with extra space as party was 3 adults. Room 133 on reception level had aircon, skylight and large monsoon shower. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choice (only continental but hot available seemingly just didn't see anyone request it) Also kept bags safe whilst sightseeing on final day . Would definitely stay again

"Really disappointing but close to Apollo."

We had booked a competitor hotel for an evening at the Apollo and changed it last minute due to the location, albeit a little more expensive, and we wish we hadn't. The bedrooms are the smallest I've seen. I have read a couple of reviews that state that a family of three could not move around but I speak for just the pair of us and the space is seriously limited. It's difficult to walk to the bathroom without banging your leg/arm/head on the corner of something. On arrival the receptionist was disinterested. Not the warmest of welcomes but moving on... the electronic key to the door wouldn't work. We stood and tried for 10/15 minutes before informing the receptionist. She proceeded to 'help' us by also trying the card over 50/60 times whilst we just stood there for a further 15 minutes in silence. It was rather embarrassing really. After over 100 attempts of trying the same electronic key card; we were in! Whilst reluctantly entering Fort Knox the receptionist left us with a very disheartening 'there's a knack to it' and she was gone! Very helpful! There was no TV remote, after informing the same lady we waited another 20 minutes before she bought a new one. Finally after an hour of hassle we were settled in the worlds smallest bedroom seriously regretting our last minute choice! The breakfast isn't great - although I've never been a fan of Continental. All the tables were dirty so we had to sit on one with pots and plates. We sat and ate breakfast for 40(ish) minutes and not one plate was moved, guests just continued to help themselves to dirty tables. The manager/supervisor gent the following morning was just as unhelpful and rude as the receptionist the afternoon prior. I asked for some baked beans which granted, were not included, his response was fairly rude and when I asked for ketchup he bought mayonnaise... Ending on a lighter note it is very close to the Apollo and the shower is a dream, other than that, a very disappointing chain hotel. Won't be returning, even if the price is right!

Stayed here with my daughter who was having an operation in a clinic nearby. We stayed the 12th and 13th April 2018 and can't recommend the location and the staff enough. Nothing was too much trouble even though we were room bound on the 13th. The breakfast was only continental but had everything you could want and I think you could order a cooked one in advance. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had absolutely no complaints and we are hard to please!

"Stayed For The Weekend"

Stayed here for the weekend Fri-Sun a family of 3, so we had a triple room. Room was very small, and we struggled to move around as there was hardly any available floorspace. The bathroom door was restricted too as it kept catching the single bed. Bathroom was an ok size, although could do with having a refresh as grout was coming out the tiles. We had no windows in our room too only a skylight which was fine but can sometimes feel claustrophobic, as it felt the room had no air. Breakfast was continental which was very basic. Very close to alot of shops though, and only a 20min walk away from Olympia which is were our event was.

"Travelling for business...avoid!"

Rooms dirty, carpets badly stained. Noise levels appalling making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast continental only and poor. Card deposit taken despite room being paid for in full in advance. Staff had a bad attitude and were unprofessional in their approach. Security non existent, reception were not monitoring those entering the building, floors had no security locks. If travelling for business, I would avoid, there are other much better hotels nearby which are actually fit for purpose.

All the rooms are double glazed and if you do have a room facing the street then it can be noisy at times but very rarely at night. Breakfast is actually complimentary with the addition of boiled eggs. There are security cameras all over the hotel and is being monitored 24 hours from reception.. This is why the lift stops at the first floor by reception after 10pm. I don't know of a single hotel that has security locks in corridors. When I arrived there was no reception staff, but after about two minutes she breathlessly arrived. I was just about to self-check-in. The plus side. it is 5 mins walk from Hammersmith Broadway. It is warm inside, the rooms are not large but adequate for 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast was adequate and based on a continental style of fayre. Recommended as it is a great price for reasonably central hotel.

"Great for Apollo"

Stayed here for a night for the Bon Iver concert. We drove down and being a Sunday benefitted from free on street parking just down the road. Our room was fine - a bit small but clean and with a nice big shower and bathroom. The breakfast was ok - choice of breads, fruits etc. All the staff we spoke to were lovely.

"Terrible customer service"

We booked to stay at the Seraphine, Kensington on Saturday 17th February 2018 and arrived promptly at 5pm ready for our show at 7.30pm. We were returning customers having stayed here 5 years in a row and always had good service, it was also walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall where we were seeing a show that evening. On arrival we were told that due to electrical faults we could not stay there but we would be given a taxi to the sister hotel in Hammersmith. There were other guests staying here but we did not argue and were very accommodating. We said this was fine even though we would now miss out on our dinner reservations we had booked near to the hotel. When asked how far away it was the guy at the hotel said “just the next road” even though it was 3 miles and a 20 minute taxi journey, no longer walking distance for our plans that evening. Having arrived at Hammersmith we were greeted by Anvil, we checked in and asked as a good will gesture (as we were now very tight for time and missed our dinner) if the hotel would pay for a taxi to the Royal Albert Hall and back that evening. He very kindly agreed and booked this for us at 7pm and 11pm to bring us back. We waited in the lobby whilst this was booked and said it would be charged to the hotels account, we thanked Anvil and went to our room. We were collected promptly at 7pm for our show by taxi and dropped off no problem, with the taxi driver saying it was paid for by the hotel. At 10pm our show finished early and I called Anvil to see if we could get an earlier taxi, he apologised and said they were fully booked so it would stay as 11pm, which we said was fine. At 11.10pm no taxi arrived to pick us up. I rung the hotel and was told Anvil was not there and the man claimed he knew nothing about the taxi situation. I explained and he said they wouldn't usually do this but if we got a taxi he would “reimburse us when we got back to the hotel”. Got a taxi, cost £16.28 and got a receipt to prove we paid. We went up to the lobby and met the rudest hotel worker (I don't know his name but he was working the night shift), he was smirking as we explained the situation and he took great joy in saying he would not pay it and how “our story” should not mean they should pay for the taxi and I quote “it's not my fault you decided to go out!” The whole reason we came to London was to see a show! He also told us over the phone he would reimburse us, he clearly lied. I then asked when Anvil was back and he said the morning. Clearly getting nowhere we said we would speak to Anvil in the morning. We then got a call at 11.30pm to say our taxi was waiting, explained we no longer needed it as it was so late, but this shows Anvil had booked it! In the morning Anvil was not there, another man was. Again explained situation, and he said no, that would never of been agreed too. I explained the first taxi was paid for by the hotel, he refused this and basically said I was lying, we didn't pay for the taxi! He then kept offering to book us a taxi, even though we did not need one now, we just wanted a refund for the taxi we had to pay for due to us moving hotels due to no fault of our own. Me and my husband have been left disgusted at how rude the staff are. Apart from Anvil who helped us, although he did not communicate to other members of staff about paying for the taxi, which would of solved the situation. Me and my husband will not be returning to any of the Seraphine hotels in the future. We have been left out of pocket due to no fault of our own and we were very understanding as to why we needed to be moved. We are now wondering if the Kensington hotel was overbooked and another excuse was used. The attitude of two of the staff members were shocking, clearly more customer service training needs to be given.

"The manager let the place down"

We arrived to be met by friendly staff at reception. We were then given room 107!! Upon entering the room you could only just squeeze around the bed to 3 sides. To sit on the toilet you would have to sit with your knees under the sink. When asking at reception to move rooms and willing to pay for an upgrade the manager interjected and refused our request. He followed us back to the room asking what was wrong. We opened the window to a nasty stench. He then said they were fully booked and it wouldn't be possible to move us. However upon looking online there were still rooms available to book. At this point he agreed to move us. In the new room although shabby we had plenty of space. The central light was cracked and the curtains were falling away from the rail. The carpets look like they were fitted by a blind rat, with ruffles in the middle and not meeting the walls. Tops from old shampoo bottles were stuck down the shower drain. Staff were friendly and the room maid was helpful.

A deceivingly nice interior. Worth asking when booking in for a room with windows and not skylight, which I did after seeing previous bad reviews. We had beautiful room on side street which was quiet Decent size bathroom with heated floor and powerful shower. Beds comfortable. Room cleaned and stocked on next day. Good hairdryer and generous supply if toiletries as well as tea/ coffee etc. Good selection for continental breakfast and all fresh produce. Staff friendly and amenable. Will return

"Awful place avoid!!!"

Was asked for credit card in case any damage to room, after paying cash for room soon realised the rooms were extremely small and asked for a refund. Refund given- but when I checked my bank statement they had taken £30 out of my account!! I Was told the only way money would be taken off my card was if there was any damage lol we didn't even stay there!! Called the manager he denied taking anthing out and tried to justify it by saying when we had our refund he gave us an extra tenner, absolute rubbish!! Never been in such a poorly managed place in my life. Rip off merchants avoid at all costs!!

"Okay if you're just wanting a place to lay your head after a night out..."

So to begin with I will say that this place does not offer twin beds only a double which I found very odd. So when I arrived to the room I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was a nicely presented and spacious room (good value for money). The room had a very low hanging lamp from the ceiling above the bed. I accidentally knocked this with my head as it was head height and I kid you not the light fitting fell off exposing live wires at perfect head height. I went to the receptionist who was very good and acted quickly and changed our room. However the new room was very cramped and smelt damp. As we was only visiting for a night out and knew we'd be pretty drunk when we came back we didn't see it as much of an issue. Therefore the first room we was in I'd have to say would have been very good value for london (had the light not fell off) but the other room was not great. Would I stay here again? Probably if I was on a night out and wanted somewhere hep to stay in a good easy accessible tube station. However, if I was staying somewhere for comfort I would stay well clear.

We started with 5 nights, extended another 4 and then after other accommodation that had been previously organised we came back for another 2 nights before flying back to Australia. We were blown away with the service and consideration of all staff. Our room had everything that we needed. Towel rail warmer. Bathroom floor heated. Very comfortable bed. The access that we had to the dining area for Wedding preparations was really appreciated. Thank you so much Ronnie and your wonderful staff.

"Nice hotel, not too expensive"

Booked in for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and the room was decent, clean with a comfortable bed and good shower. The breakfast that was provided was simple enough but sufficient; breakfast cereals, croissants, boiled eggs, bread and jam. Hotel is in a good location, only a short walk from the Hammersmith station

"It was our first time and last time in this hotel"

Booked triple executive room for our little family: 2 adults and one 14 years old teenager. As it's been said that this is four star hotel, we expected lovely room and nice stay. What we got was fairly small room with NO window. "This is like prison!" said our teenager. We only had sky light and that was our window. Also not very welcoming was the big brown in the carpet. We asked extra duvet and the answe was: "I don't know if we have any." What?! This is a hotel, so you should have extra bedding... We had to ask that duvet twice and finally had to pick it up from reception by ourselves as well as put the duvet cover on. One day housekeeping "forget" to bring new towels... Not the way four star hotel works! Room was small and very damp, AC wasn't working and bathroom was very damp all the time. It was nice thought that we could help enviroment using towels several days, but how can you use them when they are wet in the morning, because drying rack is cold and the thermostat doesn't work. Don't even want to think how much mold there is hiding in the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty average continental brekkie, but those individually wrapped cheeses etc. were not very inviting and that huge amount of trash... Not very good. We ate breakfast out most of the mornings. Room was very quiet and that was the good thing. Good thing was also location. But those are only good things our family was able to think. We paid pretty good amount of money for staying in this "four star" hotel and I must say, I really can't think how this hotel has got all those stars. Please, if there's no window in the room, let people know it before they make a reservation...

Good position quite near underground stations. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Np problem staying here again. We needed an earlier breakfast than the usual fixed times and we were accommodated by the manager. Could not ask for more.

"Will not return"

Arrived late at night, checked in an was given rom 202. 2 adults 1 child (11y.o) in double room with xtra bed. As we arrived totaly exhausted, we just fired up the AC and went to bed. Only thing we noticed upon arrival was a used dirty glass under the xtra bed. The morning after, we noticed the AC not working. As the windows were impossible to open, we woke up to a damp, hot room with poor air quality. The front desk was noticed about the AC that same morning, but just some "mumbeling" answere... We were in a hurry for catching a train to Manchester, so we did not address this further. As we returned that evening, we imeadiately could see that the AC was still not working. .Contacted the front desk and explained our problem. I asked for another room, so we could breathe while sleeping.The following acting in trying to HELP us with our problem, was just hillarious... Though tyring to explain my effort in trying to open the windows (and I'm a strong m.f. (male force!)) - was not enough - and staff used lots of time and effort trying to open windows - wich were stuck due to paint and such... Back an forth - looking at computer for half an hour - without explaining options - at last we were provided two other rooms for the night. The next day the AC finally was fixed. Other; pros; -Location! Excellent location in lovely Hammersmith! Close to the tube, stores etc. -Though it seemed that they lacked of experience - the staff was very friendly! :) cons; -As mentioned in an earlier post; the smell of KFC-fat in the entrance! Yak! -Draining problem in the shower. Told the front desk - but nothing noticable didt happend... - Mirror-light bathroom poor - Our time was consumed by staff - trying to "fix" easily fixable problems... And last - but not least; Breakfast! Cheese packed i plastic, sugar packed in plastic covered paper, Nescafe the same. Cereals in smal individual packages of paper/cardboard and plastic. This goes on... A LOT of trash - just by consuming breakfast! Then - you DARE put up a notice in the bathroom; "Please, help us SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT by NOT changing towel every day!" I rest my case... Concidering demanding a refund for some of our expences of our four night stay, as this hotel experience was partly devastating for out trip to lovely London.

"Christmas weekend break "

Booked 1 executive room and 2 double rooms for 6 of us. Our executive room was lovely, it was clean and a good size, en-suite was also nice and clean. Air Conditioning worked well Double rooms were on the small size and my boys didn't have much room to walk round the beds, but they were also very clean. My only criticism would be the mirror lighting in the bathroom was not sufficient. Breakfast was adequate, none of us really bothered about a cooked breakfast. The staff were pleasant and reception accommodating. Would use this hotel again but only if we booked an executive room.

"Not bad, but not very good either"

It‘s really hard to find a good accomodation in London, that offers a good value and good location. This was not bad, but I think next time I‘m going to try to find something else. First the good things: the location. At first I was scared, my company booked the room and I thought Hammersmith would be too outside of London, but I was pleasently surprised: it‘s a nice area, with everything you might need, and the underground goes directly to the center and also to Heathrow Airport, which came in really handy for me on my last day. The decoration is not bad and the bathroom quite modern. The breakfast was basic, best thing there: the croissants. For the not so good thing, I must say: the service. Staff was not particularly friendly. And then: first, they gave us a room without a window. For me, something really quite impossible, you cannot even get a sense about the weather outside, let alone let in fresh air. So I went to the reception and asked if they happened to have another room with window available. His response was literally: „Bring down your bags.“, which we did. Then, maybe I should have asked to see the room first, but I hadn‘t thought of that, and it turns out: yes, the new room has a window but is also about a meter shorter than the one before. I had to move around in it „sideways“ and didn‘t have any room for me to open up my suitcase. I only think that sincerity is always the best thing, so why not say: „Ok, we do have another room with a window available, but it is a little bit smaller, would you like to take a look?“. I still would have chosen the room with the window, but it would have been so much nicer to be warned, this way I felt a little „betrayed“. Also, I called beforehand to ask for my room to have separate beds in it, and they told me they didn‘t have any room with separate beds, which I find out for a hotel of that size. All in all, it was okay, we did only go there to sleep, basically.

"Avoid whilst building work ongoing!"

We stayed at this hotel due to its ideal proximity to the Eventim Apollo. Whilst the room itself was pleasant a d had everything we needed, due to ongoing building works we were awoken at 8am yo the sound of drilling and work being done in and around us - now what you pay for! As a result we both didn't sleep very well and despite raising this when we checked out, the receptionist couldn't have been less bothered! We shall not return!

"Last Minute Booking - Perfect!"

When our accommodation fell through at the last minute, we scrambled around on the internet and found the Best Western at Hammersmith on lastminute.com. What a find! Superb price for a clean, conveniently placed, friendly little hotel. Sandwiched between a KFC and a casino, 5 minutes from Hammersmith tube station and on a busy road, I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Really helpful staff, clean rooms, very well equipped and provisioned (I've never seen so much tea, coffee and milk on the nightstand!) The rooms are small, for sure, but at under £50 a night, I am not complaining. The power shower was brilliant. And all that, with breakfast included in the price. What is there not to like? If I was going to quibble (and it really is a quibble), we could have done with another towel, and the toilet paper was definitely economy, but so what? Will be back next time I am needing a convenient place to stay in London

"Value For Money and Great Location"

Stayed at this hotel for one night on business 21/11/17. This is a small hotel situated in a very exclusive area of Kightsbridge, London, right outside Hyde Park. The decor in the hotel is very modern and I found it clean. The rooms also had a nice decor and everything I expected and needed. I also found the staff helpful. The downside to this hotel is the exterior appearance, the stairs up to reception, no hot food and small rooms but for what the rooms cost I personally think it's exceptional value for a hotel in Knightsbridge. Would definitely stay here again.

"Compact rooms, OK for being near Apollo"

Needed a hotel for after a gig at the Hammersmith Apollo, very convenient. Rooms are very compact, only one person can walk though at a time so needs some co-ordination but the room had all you'd expect. Currently covered in scaffolding but the inside was fine.

"4 day visit"

I booked this hotel through booking.com on the promise of being close to locations whose events I was attending .I paid 674 stg for 4 nights.and frankly the room (121)in terms of size and decor certainly did not match the price.Also I had a room adjacent to King St and the noise was appalling. Continental breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly.However service in terms of wake up calls was terrible.On the first morning after my arrival staff failed to give me a pre arranged call and it happened a second time on the morning of my departure.Luckily I made my flight on time.Lastly the wifi facilities were horrible.I was housed in room 121 and there was weak receptivity which was only remedied by locating in the reception area.All in all this hotel offers little or nothing of value to a regular traveler based on my many years of overseas travel.

"Not so bad as expected"

Having read reviews I was rather concerned about what our room would be like. However cleverly my husband booked an assisted room knowing it would need space for wheelchair so not as small as others and also requested a window on arrival. Therefore we were pleasantly surprised. Room was still quite compact but adequate. Lovely wet room. Hairdryer, tea coffee, bottled water. Good air conditioning and very clean. Breakfast was good too. If we ever return to an event in Hammersmith again we would return.

"Ridiculously TINY room..."

Stayed in the smallest ever hotel room I have ever seen. The gap between the end of the bed and the tv on the wall was completely ridiculous (see photo) as it was the only way around the bed besides diving over it! It felt as if we were staying in an under-stairs cupboard! Also the bedside sockets didn't work well and the room was very hot. Not in any way worth the £150 we paid for it. The only thing positive thing we found was the room was clean and tidy.

Stayed here as at a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo and this is the only reason they are getting a one rating from me. We arrived in the room and it was dirty, hairs and marks on the sheets, complained to reception and house keeping came. Whilst he was there ask for extra pillow (my boyfriend had a broken leg at the time) could not give us extra pillows, so all we had where 1 very flat pillow each. ROOMS ARE SMALL!!!! We paid for an executive suite... HA! That's a joke, it looked over at Iceland. Not impressed. Will not be returning.

"Poor Hotel"

I stayed here during the Olympia Xmas show for my sins and would not recommend it. The hotel is above a KFC restaurant which you can smell in the reception. My room was on the third floor with no windows only a skylight. The staff put you off ordering a hot breakfast and does not do evening meals. The only good thing about my stay was it had a good shower. If you are a tourist it may suit you but as a business customer I would not recommend it. I booked a taxi for 9.30am but it didn't turn up until 9.55am as the driver could not find the hotel..

We stayed in the hotel with 3 months old baby for 3 nights. Location is good and very close to the tube station, lots of shops and restaurants around. Everybody was very helpful and friendly. We didn't have fridge in the room so receptionists agreed to keep baby's milk in their kitchen. Also we had everything what was requested online. However it was very noisy at nights and the sink was too small and no bath only shower so we couldn't bath baby for 3 days. Also the room is small so with extra cot inside we could not move around at all. Our suitcase had to be placed in the shower. Good hotel to stay but without baby.

"Good for what we needed."

We booked here due to going to the Hammersmith apollo so was a perfect location. Tube stop right on your doorstep so easy to get into the rest of London too. Hammersmith has lots of shops and a few restaurants to choose from. The hotel is good, rooms not massive but for the price of the hotel I think it's very good value, everything was in good condition and everything we needed. Only negative was no iron and ironing board in room you have to ask at reception.

"Good experience"

Staff were all super friendly. Hotel was modern and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate. Excellent air conditioning and well located for the Eventim Apollo theatre (5 minute walk). Although situated on a busy noisy road the double glazing did a great job of keeping out the noise. The only reason I have not awarded a five star is because the room was a little on the small size, in this price range I have had much bigger rooms in the area. Overall a nice stay in a well run hotel and I would happily stay here again.

"Okay at a glance."

I have mixed feelings on this hotel however I feel the negatives outweigh the positives, particularly since in comparison to another Best Western I've stayed at there were no in house facilities such as a gym and the room was quite small for the price we paid. We first arrived at the hotel at roughly 13:00 but were told our room wasn't quite ready yet, the nice lady at reception took our bags off us so that we wouldn't have to carry them round all day and advised we come back later. When we got back to the hotel we were asked to show ID, again, to confirm it was us that booked the room and then were given a sheet of paperwork (I will point out that I was also given someone elses paperwork that read VIP Guest on it, whoops). We were then led by the receptionist to where our bags were kept - in the fire exit door underneath where the electric box was. When we got to our room we found gravel and toenail clippings on the floor and then on closer inspection we saw that a panel on our wall was duct-taped over and our only window (in the ceiling) also had the blinds duct-taped over. Also considering this was a 4-star hotel, I did think that we would atleast have a fridge and an AC unit that didn't repeatedly click through the night - I was wrong. The icing on the cake which made me and my partner not like the hotel from our first night was a fire alarm test at 06:15 in the morning; I overheard the manager during breakfast discussing it with a colleague so it was intended... I wouldn't have been so annoyed about this if they had at least warned us it'd occur rather than myself and my partner start throwing pants on so we can get outside. Final remark that I'll point out is that I decided I'd check the booking.com to see the cost of the room to make sure all was well when I paid and I saw the same room for £90 less, perfect.

"Really nice stay"

We ended up moving to a Best Western the previous time after we got stiffed by Booking.com, and it was lovely. This was a different hotel but just as nice. the staff were friendly, the room was beautifully turned out and quiet, the bed was firm, the bathroom was splendid. We got complimentary continental breakfast as well, which set us up for the day and meant we didn't have to think about eating until the evening. It wasn't cheap, but then it is London, and it was the Bank Holiday weekend.

"Overnight Stay in Great location"

The hotel is in a excellent location within walking distance of major stores, Hyde Park and the London Underground. Check in was quick and easy plus the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The room was quite small but very clean and comfortable. Finally, it was a nice surprise to find that breakfast was also included albeit continental.

"Clean well designed hotel but tiny space"

This hotel is on king street above shops. Perfect walking distance from the Eventim Apollo making it ideal for shows there. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel itself and rooms are clean and relatively new/refurbished to a high standard. However every aspect of the hotel is a small as it could be and cleverly designed to make it all fit in. The beds are only standard double and I felt the space in my triple room and showeroom was just inadequate for the price paid. If you are larger or even just tall the showeroom just won't work for you. It's a shame to mark the hotel down on space alone as the staff do everthing possible and cannot change the space the hotel chain has carved up into as many rooms as possible on a computer.

"Amazing staff, room clean but needs attention"

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night, last minute stay to attend Nottinghill carnival. Great location. Tea/coffee in room which was great. Room very hot and bed linen very thick, heavy and hot to sleep in also. Although bed linen was clean and smelt fresh. Staff very helpful and breakfast staff were amazing. Room and shower room was clean but would benifit from just a quick lick of paint here and there and some simply maintenance. Considering price this was a great deal which included a nice varied breakfast with wonderful staff all round. If your not expecting 5 star then this is the next best thing at a great price. We would stay again seeing price reflects what you get.

Room not same like the one booked with Booking .com. Smelly pillows we couldn't sleep on it we request to be changed. House keeping need training in cleaning the room and special the bathroom . Bathroom very tiny .Breakfast......very poor and cold ...no imagination maybe the chef will think about some hot omelette... every morning we had just cold boiled eggs and cold milk to go with cereals. I was very happy that the reception staff and the Romanian kitchen attendant was very helpful. I feel sorry that I didn't get them name they make my stay special the Indian man at the reception !Thank you for that.

"Comfortable and Handy"

The hotel was central for Kings Cross Station and for Charing Cross Hospital where I was carrying out a boiler training course for the estates personnel on the boilers. The hotel did a continental breakfast but I had to go out for the evening meal as it dis not have a restaurant on site. The staff were helpful and the room I was in was comfortable from the double bed to the amenities of on suite bathroom with shower and plenty hot water.

"Short stay in a complex cupboard"

Friendly staff but very pokey room, barely able to open bathroom door. The shower sprayed into the bathroom from a leak, soaking everything. Wifi only worked half the time. The door to the room needed the lovely staff member to show me about 12 times the "trick" to getting in. Great location lovely staff but over priced for the quality of the hotel

"Better Best Western Hotel"

Just come home from a great couple of days in London, staying one night at this hotel & was very impressed. We received a warm & friendly welcome from Roxanna on reception, our room was on the small side but absolutely fine for one or two nights & very comfortable & very clean. Very comfortable bed too. Breakfast was fine. We knew it was a continental breakfast but that suited us fine & was included in the price of our room. There was plenty of cereal choices, meat, cheese & hard boiled eggs, croissants & bread to make toast. For anyone wanting a full English there is a Wetherspoons bar/restaurant just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel which serves breakfast until noon. We chose this hotel because we were attending a concert at the Eventim Apollo & was perfect because it was just five minutes walk from the venue. We have stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Cromwell Rd if we were going to Royal Albert Hall, which was very nice too but the rooms always seemed so hot, whereas the air conditioning worked perfectly here, making a very comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again.

"Great Stay,but Executive Room too Small"

We had booked a double room but on arrival we were up graded to an executive room - no reason given, but we accepted. Room (108) had great facilities and it's power shower was brilliant. Only complaint about the room was it was too small to be an executive room - the double bed only just fitted in the room and it was very difficult to get passed the bottom of the bed and the wall which had mounted a television. Did mention this when we left and they apologised, but others beware......

A nice budget hotel. the location is great but the rooms inside are too small, I'm sure there are better budgy hotels around. the breakfast is fine and there is cable tv. the staff was fine, there should be more options for vegetarians and vegans in the breakfast

Stayed for 2 nights in room 326, which was on the third floor at the back and consequently was very quiet. Air conditioning worked well, although the windows could be opened too. Very comfortable bed and good shower. The room was quite small but as I was travelling alone that was fine. Good selection of tea and coffee and also a couple of bottles of water were provided. Good selection of toiletries too. The complimentary breakfast had a wide choice of cereal, bread, cold meat, cheeses, yoghurt, fruit and hard boiled eggs, all nice & fresh. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I know other reviewers commented on the inconvenience of the lift not going any further than the 1st floor (reception area) after 10:30pm but as a lone traveller, I appreciate this added element of security. 5 minutes walk from the tube station, a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Very nice place to stay, I would definitely return if I had business in the Hammersmith area in future.

The hotel is in a good location for a visit to the Hammersmith Odeon. The reception at the hotel was friendly and very efficient. The room was very good. Everything worked as it should. The continental breakfast was fine. All in al I could not fault anything. A highly recommended hotel.

"High price, very poor quality"

Despite paying a huge price because it was the only hotel left with rooms available during the weekend of the U2 concert the stay was not good at all. Several issues • Very loose tap in bathroom (loose at point of contact with sink unit) • Under floor heating set to 40 degrees (max) when we arrived. • Air conditioning was on but failed to supply ANY cold air throughout our stay even though we set it to minimum. • Bad stains on carpets • Bedside lamp had no lamp shade, broken switches and also was very loose, hanging off the bed unit. • Biggest problem: 9am Sunday morning, no hot water in room. 9:30am not water at all. Not fixed by the time we had to leave! I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Within comfortable walking distance from the underground station Hammersmith, so no problem with my luggage. Staff at hotel bar were nice. I liked to have a drink there after the day's programme and before going to bed. My single room was small but that was fine as I did not spend most of my time there.

"Enjoyable stay"

Good hotel. A bit boring breakfast, just ordinary. The extra bed was just ridiculous, so we slept 3 people in the king sized bed. We had a bit rouble with getting enough towels, but the staff tried their best to help us. Short walk to the underground and a good selections of stores right outside the hotel. Overall, I could definitely stay here again.

"Good value in convenient location"

I liked everything about this hotel. Located conveniently close to tube with many convenience stores, restaurants and shopping nearby. Breakfast was great with good selection of fruits, breads, cereals, hot and cold beverages. Croissants and danish were fresh and delicious, flaky and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. My only complaint was the temperature of the room. The air conditioning operates with the room key in the slot and even though we left a card in the slot, the maid removes it so when we returned to the room it was extremely hot and stuffy. Our air conditioner didn't work the second night but the concierge was helpful in trying to fix it on their computer. When that didn't work, he moved us to another room. We were thankful as there was no way we would have been able to sleep, drenching in sweat. Rooms were well stocked with amenities and toiletries. Wi-Fi strength was good. There is a great Indian restaurant near the hotel called Indian Zing. The hotel gave us a discount voucher and we were very happy with the recommendation. I would stay here again.

"Close to tube so very convenient"

Reception on first floor but good lift so no real problem. Our room was very small with no windows but instead having a skylight which opened up to let you watch the stars from the bed! Basic furnishing but good TV. Bathroom was small too but had a good drenching shower and good selection of toiletries. Nowhere to hang towels easily except the very small towel rail. Breakfast was fair but lacked a good selection of fresh fruit (only apple) and no hot food obvious except for (hard) boiled eggs but it may have been available to order possibly. The queue for the slow coffee machine was irritating to say the least. However staff were very polite and friendly.

great location ,food pretty good. when booking if your room is on the 3rd(top floor)you have a roof light and not a window ! but you also get an electronic blackout blind -Very effective . It would be a good idea to put more coffee machines in to avoid business people having to queue at busy times

"Dissapointing"

The location is great but it was generally disappointing. I knew it was basic but I was still expecting good. When I walked into my room I felt that I had been put into the cupboard; very small and no windows. We had to be careful not to bang ourselves with the wall or the TV. The carpet had some nasty looking stains and it has obviously seen better days. There was a funny smell in the room so we had to open the skylight which defeated the purpose of the air conditioning. If a manager replies to this message, can you please provide an email? I would like tho share some flaws in your security which I'm not going to share here, of course. I would have passed my comments to reception staff but I wasn't even asked how my stay was when I checked out.

Indeed 3rd floor doesn't have any windows, it's very stuffy. I was given room on 2nd floor, the sofa bed was broken. The queen size bed was made by joining 2 bed with wheels & it was broken. Breakfast was very basic, we can always purchase this from grocery shop next door. No omelette etc. So best not to purchase breakfast.

"Convenient choice"

I stayed for one night for work. It was very handy from Heathrow, and equally handy for getting into town the next day for a business meeting. The room was small but comfy with a nice rainforest shower, toiletries and tea/coffee/water/biccies. I opened the window in my room for some fresh air. The room was spotless but there was a bit of a smell in the room. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area too.

Triple room on the third floor had no windows to look out of (just a sunlight) and was very small but well decorated, clean and very quiet.. All the feathers in my duvets had clumped up in certain areas and there were parts where there was no feather at all which led to a very lumpy duvet and no amount of shaking would sort it out. Thankfully, this was just a place to lay our heads after a night out but wouldn't want to stay there any longer

Rooms very small . Beds small. Room not very clean. Also lift only goes to 1st floor after 10.30pm. Meaning if room on high floors you need to use stairs. Breakfast room and the breakfast were ok. Overall not a good experience

The room was small but felt clean and was well decorated in a very modern stylish fashion. Continental breakfast of cereals and croissants was fine to start the day with. Only a few minutes walk to the Tube station and the sights of London. No on site parking though and we paid £50 a day in the nearest multi-storey car park.

"Worst customer service ever!"

We had a problem with luggage storage. Hotel confirmed before our stay that they do have luggage storage facilities but when we got there we were advised we could not leave our bags in storage. Reception staff and Hotel manager refused to help us in anyway other than to say we could store our luggage elsewhere and pay for it ouselves. We asked the Hotel to pay the cost of offsite luggage storage, they flat out refused. Customer service by Hotel Manager was appalling. We advised Hotel manager that we would have to speak to his head office about the poor service he was providing us, his response, "go ahead" We cancelled our future booking at this Hotel and booked into another Hotel 2 minutes down the road for the same cost, who were happy to store our luggage for free.

"Clean and modern in convenient location"

We stayed here for 5 days at the end of our vacation. It was conveniently just 3 blocks from the tube station and there were lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. The hotel was bright and modern looking and the decorating in the rooms was light and airy. We booked an executive room but the room that we got (#111) was on the main street first floor and quite small. However, I was feeling quite ill and just wanted to lie down right away so we did not ask to be moved. Although we were on a busy street we did not hear any traffic except for sirens. It was not a problem. The bathroom was very clean and the rainhead shower was wonderful. There were beverage making facilities. The breakfast provided a variety of items including yogurt, fruit, juices, bread and croissants plus cold cuts and cheese. As others have mentioned there were problems with the wifi. Even though we were booked for 5 nights we were given a password good for only one night. They did give us another one but surely they could do better than that. We recommend walking down to the Thames (3 blocks) and doing the Thames walk. There are several nice pubs along there and gardens to sit and enjoy the view. The Piccadilly line goes through the Hammersmith station and goes directly to Heathrow. Very convenient.

Just a short walk from the tube, but watch out you could walk right past the small sign outside. We arrived early, around 10 am, but to our surprise the room was ready and we checked right in. Small, but very clean and had everything you needed. The room we had was on the third floor away from the elevator and very quiet. The morning breakfast was very good they supplied both cold and hot options so you won't leave for your day hungry. Whatever I needed from an ice bucket full or an iron it was provided right away. Would I stay again?, yes and I recommend it. Cheers

Booked this small modern hotel for one night stay. Location great for attending Apollo as within five minutes walking distance. Entrance and outside appearance are deceiving. Inside is a very nice, modern, quiet, relaxed and very clean. Our Room was compact but well designed and furnished, nice subtle mood lighting, and very comfortable. Flat screen TV, free Wifi, tea making facilities, room safe, mobile phone charger all in in room and good ensuite facilities with an array of toiletries. Nice continental breakfast, cooked breakfast available too if ordered. Staff very pleasant and polite. Only complaint was they had limited bar facilities and night we were there had no gin!!! On a busy High Street but late at night bars outside were all closed.

I stayed here for one night whilst on business in the area. This is a small hotel and my double room was very compact and in much need of modernisation. That said the room was very clean but for the price I paid I expected better. The welcome from the reception staff was great and all the staff I met were very helpful. The free breakfast offered a good choice of continental foods and pastries.

Stayed as close to the appollo...room was small but pleasant enough..nice continental brekkie included...high street below..some bars and restaurants close..staff nice but wasnt aware we had to oay a £50 retainer when i booked...would stay again as good price for central London and a bit nicer than a travel lodge

"Fantastic short visit"

Came here for a couple of nights, and whilst the presentation outside leaves a lot to be desired the inside of the hotel is a lot better. Our check in was quick with the staff being very friendly and helpful. Our room was for three adults sleeping and whilst very compact it had everything you could want and a little more. Sleeping was very comfortable with a double and single bed, air con/heating worked well, plenty of storage space / drawers etc and tea / coffee facilities also a safe is located in the cupboard. The shower room is the only real downer, its small with a very small sink, however the shower was one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of using with water pressure cascading on my head at an unbelievable rate, really good!! Breakfast was continental and again this was more than addequate or for approx £5 you could pre order a hot english breakfast. Location is approx a five minute walk from Hammersmith Tube station and several restaurants are in situ with a couple of good 'Weatherspoons nearby or a short walk to the River will bring you to more eating establishments. Really enjoyed my visit and I would not hesitate to return, it did exactly has it said on the box!!!

"Pleasantly surprised !"

Booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced for our 4 night trip to London and in a super area. If money isn't an object and you would like a romantic stay well this isn't for you. This is really a room only hotel...with the breakfast area combined with reception and a bar all rolled into one. However the rooms are modern contemporary but the doubles are on the small side...room tip...go for the executive doubles they are larger and have windows to the high street, the doubles have only skylights. The bathroom are good with a lovely drench shower. The breakfast is continental but very good and the coffee is so so good ! as the pastries. Lots of people use this hotel for the Apollo as is not far away . If you do stay here you are a short away from the thames....dont miss the Dove pub its lovely right on the river.

I stay at BW a lot. This was not a good quality at all. Bed was a double size and not at all comfortable. Stain on floor in hallway. Noise. Bad part of the street. Hot water stopped working. Awful. Staff were clueless.

All the rooms are double glazed but being in the heart of a very busy street in Hammersmith it can be noisy at times. Unfortunately the hot water did stop in the morning but came back later. Room was inexpensive, had everything you need. Was very quiet at night and would have slept well if not for air con. Bizarrely had to call reception to get them to change this throughout the night! Breakfast was a disappointing 'continental' which consisted of just bread and fruit. Would probably look somewhere else next time.

"A hidden surprise on the High Street."

Had an overnight stay here recently as attending a family party in Hammersmith. Hotel in the middle of the high street ( King's street ). Big glass door leading to lift and stairs to reception area. Once inside we were pleasantly surprised by hotels trendy decor. two guys on reception very friendly and helpful sorted our rooms for us ( we were a party of 6 ) quickly and efficiently. Our room was on the 2nd floor. You could call it small but perfectly formed . Decor trendy again , big comfy bed and a high street view. Bathroom was spacious with modern fixtures but maybe lighting could have been brighter. Although compact there was everything thought about for our needs in the room and the storage space was good. Breakfast was continental style with cereals, pastries , boiled eggs ham etc and tea coffee etc all easily accessible. All in all the hotel provided a good base for exactly what we needed and also only 10 mins walk for the function we were attending .Would stay there again.

"Avoid Room 101 at all costs"

Arrived late so not sure if the hotel put me in Room 101 as they were fully booked or just because it was a corporate booking. The room was clean and felt newish, that's the good news The room is awfully small, it was probably a storage cupboard in a previous life. Entering the room immediately and the end of stairs, the door opens to the right and pretty much hits the Ben. The bed is fitted in a recess, one third of the bed tests behind effectively the door opening. (Stairwell) the desk is so small that the hotel struggled to include tea making facilities, phone, glass and light. Underneath the desk, the part where your legs go should you want to sit at the desk, is a safe, therefore, no hope of sitting at the desk. The space to hand clothes is a waste of time. The bathroom is so narrow, horrid image time, out sitting on the loo, your knees are touching the opposite wall. Frankly there is no chance to dl any work in the room. Rooms like this should not be sold or before the time of booking he hotel should make it clea. Lessons 1. Never stay in room 101 2. Not sure I would stay in the hotel as this experience has not inspired me to do so 3. Do not arrive late and overly tired 4. Maybe ask what room you are being booked into as part of the process

"Value for the money, amazing staff & location"

The hotel is cozy, single room was a bit small but was really clean and had everything I needed.. The location of the hotel is awesome, very short walking distance from the tube and had all shops and restaurants I thought of around, the price is reasonable compared to London. The staff were amazing! everyone was smiling and welling to help. especially Saeed & Roxana who were awesomely helpful and welcoming, great guys! Don't expect much of the breakfast, it is a cold breakfast and to be honest I would go for a booking without a breakfast next time, as Bakehaus, Costa and other places were around. And one last thing, the scent you smell when you enter the main door of the hotel is amazing!

PROS: - 4 mins walking from the tube Hammersmith - asked for a silent room and we had a very silent room - easy to find - professional staff - wonderful big shower! - very comfortable bathroom! - a lot of restaurants near the hotel for every kind of wish! CONS: - poor breakfast, need to increase the variety of food - small room if you have big luggages, if not they're ok - uncomfortable hairdryer, the cable was too short and for who has long hair it's a challenge! Recommended!

"Great for a night"

This hotel was perfect for one night, after an event at the Apollo Eventim. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was fresh and clean. However, the bed (and room) seemed small, as were the bath towels, but still a better option than trying to get home after a concert.

"Cramped but great location! "

Stayed here at the weekend with my son as we went to a show at the Apollo. The location is great, ideally situated for the Tube and the Apollo and lots of shops nearby. My son especially liked having KFC just downstairs! We had a double room on the first floor just round the corner from the reception and it was really cramped! I had read the reviews before our visit but still was not quite prepared for what we got! Banged our knees on the sink when going to the loo and there was just enough room for the two of us and our luggage in the main room! I dread to think what it would have been like if we had been two adults in that room! We had a window but this seemed to overlook the main vents which were noisy in the evening so relied on the air conditioning in the room which was very powerful! In general, we were happy with our stay as the location was perfect, good facilities in terms of wifi, toiletries and bedding in the rooms with extra pillows and tea and coffee making supplies. The continental breakfast was basic but enough to set us up for the day. Downsides were the small room, the noise from the vents outside as well as the noise from the reception and dining areas in the morning when setting up for breakfast.

I stayed here on Monday as I went to a gig at the Apollo, very conviently located as it was only a stone throw away from the venue. I could smell kfc as soon as I walked in then noticed how closely wedged next door it was. The room was small but had everything that was needed for a nights stay tea coffee water and toiletries in the bathroom. I had problems getting the soap out of the dispenser every time i wanted to wash my hands although it was full the top was obviously dodgy as it was capped in gunk. Slept ok although the room was freezing, the fan in the bathroom would click on randomly threw the night. The towel rail didn't work in the bathroom although the shower itself was lovely you got yourself dry real quick. Breakfast in the morning was basic boiled egg toast cereal yogurt and tinned fruit. All ok to set you up for the day but not good for someone that has to watch their sugar intake. Coffee out of a machine it was vile. Hotel reception staff very friendly. Overall I did like the hotel but have stayed in better so properly won't stay again.

Good hotel. Nice room. Short way to Hammersmith station. A lot of shops in erea. Good breakfast Reception gentleman ( Arfan ) was very nice and helpfully, so were the otherones. We arrived after 10pm to find our booking on their system was for one person, despite my printed confirmation stating two. Luckily we had been assigned an accessible "double" room on the top floor- clean, adequate but seemed a small double bed. Breakfast was simple but fresh. The hairdryer started to smoke and smell after about three minutes, but a call to reception saw a brand new hairdryer delivered to the room almost immediately.

I needed somewhere to stay before going to Heathrow airport. This hotel is perfectly placed along the Picadilly line and only 5 minutes walk from Hammersmith Station. The reception was immaculate and the staff were very friendly whenever I spoke to them. The room, although not huge, had everything you would need and a very nice bathroom. Internet provided for free is great and as I was on my own I asked to take my breakfast to my room and they were perfectly happy with this. I'd happily stay here again, perfectly placed for a quick transit to Heathrow in the morning.

I checked in around 10pm on a weeknight. The rooms are reasonably priced for the area but i wouldn't necessarily recommend it. I was given my key card but had to go back down to reception as it did not work. The room was tiny and i was totally overwhelmed with the musty smell. The blinds need to be roman as at the moment they do let in the light- you can also hear water coming up through the drain when over guests are using the showers in other rooms. Bathroom floor freezing-beware! Plus sides- tea and coffee + water in the room and basic toiletries. The bed is very comfy. The breakfast is fine (sadly no soya or milk free alternative) Overall this is ok for a cheap london stay

Unpleasant hotel with the main entrance wedged between KFC and a Bookmakers. Faulty appliance wiring, small rooms, open wardrobes, small shower facilities, in my room no window only a skylight and the breakfast served only cold food in a very small area next to reception. Just an awful hotel. H&S would close it re faulty and dangerous wiring. Don't stay there unless you're homeless and are desperate. Not impressed one bit.

I used to stay here on a regular basis, until I recently stayed where the service I received was poor, therefore I won't be returning to this hotel. Firstly, the electrics cut out in my room, to which the staff member blamed me for getting the kettle wet!? Then it happened again the next day, when the staff member took the kettle away again (had they brought back the same broken kettle I wonder?!) Anyway, then I couldn't sleep as I was facing the road which is bright lights and super noisy. I rang down to reception at 1am when he advised there was nothing he can do. I spoke to the team in the morning who advised the same, I am disappointed in the service (which is unusual) therefore won't be returning. The beds are really comfy though, and the rooms lovely - Therefore gutted this has happened!!

On arriving at the hotel and not being fast moving, I stepped into the lift behind my daughter,only to find myself clamped between the j?a?w?s? lift doors,obviously a faulty or absent sensor.The room itself was small, very clean and well appointed, the bathroom was absolutely spotless, with fluffy white towels and well equipped for a disabled person. Wondering why the curtains were closed during daylight we opened them and found a typical London view, roof-tops, aircon units and..............a cement mixer. Coming in after a night out we had a drink in the bar and headed for bed,this went well until the fire alarm went off at 1am, finally getting to sleep again we were woken nice and early by the fire alarm for breakfast at 7am which consisted of a buffet with an excellent choice of cereals, fruit and continental fayre.

This is a lovely hotel just what we wanted for the wknd. We had a triple room with sofa bed, a bit of a squeeze but it was fine. It's 2mins from the underground which was perfect, handy for the airport and going into town. Plenty of shops on the doorstep too.We enjoyed the breakfast both mornings and the staff we very helpful. Would be happy to recommend to anyone on a break to London.

London hotel rooms are small and pricy. This room was very small (maybe 9 m2) and the price was moderate (the only good thing in this hotel). There were a roof window in my room so I could see the gray London sky. Cleaning of the room was inappropriate: when I arrived the trashbin of bathroom was unemptyed. I do not want to descripe what I found from looking into it. I told that at the service desk and they appoligies of it but could not do anything about it because of the late hour, however offered me a cup of coffee. Next day there were other trash on my floor after cleaning, showing that the cleanup is sloppy all the time. There were also an odd, old smell in the hotel, maybe due to the carpets? The internet connection was very slow. Well, next time I will choose an other hotel.

Checked in early to allow for a day of shopping and sight seeing. Quick and efficient and nothing too much trouble. Room amazing, even though i was close to reception,very quite. Plenty of space and the bed was super comfortable Breakfast continental - however plentiful, again staff ready to help. Check out easy Local area, well stopped in the first of many shops and bought so much we had to take it all back before heading up to London. Tube into the city was easy and within walking distance, came back very late and again tube back and felt safe.

great hotel and only five mins walk from the tube and the Apollo this was the key fact for me the hotel is modern and quirky although the room I stopped in was small but all that you needed was there I only had the room as was out on the day and night and did not eat yet I'm not sure if a evening menu is available for travel in around to London and shows this place is there modern clean and helpful staff easy access to tube, which will take you everywhere you need plenty of pubs and eating places right on the door step of this hotel and would to again without a second thought

This hotel is very good, spotlessly clean and they serve an excellent continental breakfast. Our room was very small but well appointed with everything you need and a nice comfortable bed. The ensuite had a spacious shower enclosure with powerful rain head shower.  The Seraphine Hotel is very convenient for trains, tubes shopping and restaurants.  The only criticism would be the external street noise but this did drop off through the night and you're in central London so what else would you be expect. Excellent value for money.

"Special visit ruined"

I booked the Best Western Plus Seraphine Hammersmith as a treat for my Wife. It was a special birthday for her so I'd booked the three of us( including my step-daughter) for a weekend stay. On arrival at the Hotel, the first thing that hits you is there's nowhere to park in the immediate vicinity. My Wife is disabled and struggles to walk. We ended up parking in the main precinct Car Park which is located 5 minutes drive away at the back of the Hotel. The cost for parking there is approximately £50 per 16 hours, so you need to factor that into your costs, although I planned to get out of there ASAP. It took us around fifteen minutes to walk from there, which when you're laden down like a pack horse seems like an eternity to walk. As I mentioned, my Wife struggles to walk on two crutches. By the time we got to the Hotel, she was in considerable discomfort. We checked into our room, which was fairly small with one double bed and one sofa bed. I noticed that whoever had made the bed hadn't put the bed legs down properly, but as I had to go back to the car thought no more about it. There was blonde hair all over the floor and the scatter cushions that had been placed on top of our clean white pillows were stained with what looked like blood. I had to go back to the car to get the rest of our luggage and move the car from the RIP-off Car Park. Fortunately, I found a car parking space down a side street just two roads down. As it was the weekend there was no charge. There's a meter for normal days (£2.60 per hour). I finally got back to the room with another load of balloons/bags and it was time for us all to go out. I had booked tickets to see Wicked at the Victoria Apollo. It was only a four mile drive and I thought it would be a quick drive. An hour later and after a nightmare experience with the London traffic and a SatNav that seemed to enjoy sending me the wrong way, we arrived at parking which inconveniently was again 15 minutes walk from the Theatre. Taxi fare from the Hotel to Victoria Apollo is £30 plus so it's still cheaper to drive it even accounting for £10 parking charge there. We arrived back at the Best Western Plus Hammersmith at Midnight (fortunately my parking space was still there.) My step-daughter went for a shower and got changed for bed. She sat on the single sofa bed and the whole thing collapsed. I laughed and said somebody hadn't put the legs down properly and I'd sort it out. I lifted the mattress and realised the bed was broken on the brackets. Whoever had made the bed must've seen it was broken. We all were shattered but I went down to Reception to complain. Somebody came up to examine the bed and agreed that it was broken. She said the Manager would call to say what they were going to do. The Manager rang and asked me to go to Reception. I went down and the Manager told me they had a solution. We could move to a different Best Western Plus at Kensington (which was actually a lower rated Hotel). Bearing in mind this was now almost 1am and the other Hotel was several trips to the car and then a further 2 miles away, I respectfully refused the downgrade to the other Hotel. We'd put the mattress on the hair-covered floor and make do for the night. The next morning, we went down for breakfast which comprises of a fair sized continental breakfast (Ham, eggs, cheese, cereal, croissants and toast etc. )Unfortunately, everything was almost empty and just as I got to the serving area the last of the boiled eggs were taken. I asked for more and waited and waited. The eggs arrived a full twenty plus minutes later. Towards the end of breakfast, a manager came to see me and offered us an upgraded room. We gratefully moved to the new room which was much larger with two double beds. I have complained to Best Western that we were still charged full-price for the rooms, but have so far had no reply from them. All in all, my Wife's special birthday had been ruined.

Best Western Plus Seraphine Hotel was the first I stayed in at a number of hotels while I was in London. I was extremely satisfied with the location, service and cleanliness. However, the size of the room was too small for 3 people, especially since the window cut into the available space. There was barely any space to walk around in. Other than that though, everything else was wonderful. Bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious and when the food ran out, the staff was prompt in refilling it. Great service from very helpful and well-mannered staff.

Smooth check-in, our room was right off reception so we had concerns with noise but no issues found. Was shocked by the size of the double room, would have been interested to see how the got the double bed into the corner its was in. Once over this shock, we soon warned to the clean cozy box and was happy to find the bathroom not mirroring the bedrooms minor dimensions, with the shower plenty big enough for 2. After a comfy nights sleep the breakfast was found to be satisfactory with continental range offered. Would recommend but be ready when you open the door!

"Small - and ok in the end"

We arrived late, but staff at the reception was friendly and check-in was smooth. However, when we got to the room it was very warm and in the bathroom there was a really bad smell. After half-an-hour of testing and testing, it was not possible to get the a/c started. After some mo0re discussions with the reception we got a new room, which was ok. The bed was quite narrow, not too much room for two adults, but then we were only staying one night. Bathroom and room was otherwise clean, tidy and in good condition. Breakfast was average. The location of the hotel is good, just a short walk from Hammersmith tube station, both malls and local shops in area, also late night supermarket, if you arrive to late for restaurants to be open.

Stopped for one night as we were going to the Apollo. Great location for Hammersmith Apollo. Stopped on 3rd floor as I requested top floor. Room and bathroom small but comfortable. Contained hair drier for my wife and it had complimentary shampoo and shower gel. Continental breakfast was served on 1st floor. Arrived at 9.45 for breakfast, closes at 10.30 at weekends. Electricity kept failing in breakfast room and no-body had checked to fill up the breakfast items. Once the items had been filled and electricity sorted it was quite enjoyable. If returning to visit Hammersmith would use again.

Clean, modern hotel, polite staff, etc., but the room we had was small. And I mean tiny! Hardly room to squeeze around the end of the bed and it was impossible to sneeze in the bathroom without banging your head on the wall. Fine for the one night we spent there but if you're any larger than average size or suffer from claustrophobia, pick your room very carefully.

A tad expensive because of the great location in Hammersmith I.e near shops and tube stations. Great friendly staff but the rooms are tight... Even for two people with big luggages. Parking is on availability basis in the vicinity.

After a really hot day at the Community Shield match it was great to come back to a really cool room. The a/c works! Conveniently situated near Hammersmith bus and tube station and a good Wetherspoons which has a great range of real ales and the food .... well its Spoons nothing more of less. "Lovely hotel"

We stated at this hotel in the 4/09/2016, the hotel is in a perfect location 5 minute from train/tube station, and all resturants bars and shops are on your doorstep, the staff are lovely and whilst the rooms are small they are lovely and clean but in london all the rooms are small, but that said still plenty of room for a couple to stay in, the continental breakfast was lovely with a wide range on offer, we will happily stay there again

Stayed here a few times over the years, when we had our sales meetings. Well organised and nice breakfast. Close to all the shops, tube and train station. Great selection of restaurants within walking distance. Only downside is the noise from the main road. Could do with quality triple glazing.

Last minute booking by popping in there and we were really happy. Lovely staff, bedroom tiny but nicely decorated, clean & efficient. Everything you're expecting from a hotel of that level in this part of London are reunited. Continental breakfast simple and good but would have been nice to have some british bacon.

A very central hotel in Hammersmith just 5 mins walk to tube. Although room was compact, it was quiet (on top floor) but had excellent facilities and was spotlessly clean. We were offered a complimentary buffet breakfast, which did not include an 'English' cooked, but was very nice with rolls, toast, cereals, yogurts, cheese, ham etc etc and the coffee was excellent! My husband and I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anybody looking for a comfortable, central hotel! Staff were also very pleasant and courteous.

Liked: - Centrally located, close to many shops, restaurants, bars and 2 subway stations. Didn't like: - Room was small, but I guess this is normal in London city center. - Very noisy (noise from the street and from other rooms). - Poor breakfast selection and not very good quality products, would expect more from a 4**** hotel. - Reception is located on the 1st floor and there is a lift on the ground floor, which can go directly to the rooms' floor. So anyone can just come in from the street, take the lift and go to the guests floor! Even though there is a written message inside the lift that it will only go up to the 1st floor (Reception) after 10pm, I didn't find it very safe. - In my booking confirmation it was written that payment should be done at the check-out. Then, when I wanted to pay in cash at the check-out they say it was not possible and that my credit card was already charged!!Had to pay extra fees to the credit card for no reason...

Stayed here for a period of approx. three weeks while our property was being renovated. First impressions were that despite asking our insurance for a large room, as we had to work while staying here, the so-called deluxe rooms were still small, with smallish double bed, despite it being labeled as queen size. However, as we continued through our stay, we found that the room and breakfast area were good places to work quietly, and there are many cafes with wifi in the vicinity to work in too. Location wise it made all our travel so much easier, and with the amount of bars and restaurants in the area everything was actually very easy. We came to really like our room, despite the size, (it's an urban hotel at the end of the day, with all that entails) and the hotel staff, particularly the housekeepers, were very friendly and warm. Breakfast too, while not the most original, provided a decent start to the day. Ended up feeling quite homely by the time we left.

Room was very small but tidy and clean. Bathroom was nice but the shower kept blasting me with hot water every 5 seconds. Bed was comfortable enough. Staff were fine but not particularly friendly. Overall just a very average and underwhelming experience.

I've walked past the entrance to this hotel a hundred times and always thought "no way I'm ever staying there" - it's unfortunately placed on a really unattractive part of the street with KFC and other stuff around it. But on a business visit this week, my office booked me into the Seraphine - so I took a deep breath and checked in. What a surprise! It's actually very, very good. Excellent in fact, for a small hotel offering a "boutique budget" experience. Once you've made it up the stairs from the street, the reception and bar area are really light, bright and clean. I was given a warm welcome and checked in quickly. I was on their 3rd floor (highest up) and although the corridors are quite dark and narrow, the design is fresh and appealing. My room (322 I think) was tiny. A double bed. A chair. A small desk area. And a shower room. But everything was carefully designed and laid out. Everything was very clean. And the tiny shower room was brilliant - a massive rain head shower with room for two to squeeze in, if that's what you wanted! I was on a work visit so didn't try any food or drink. I just stayed overnight (quiet, dark) and left early the next morning. For a short inexpensive business stay, I'd say that this place deserves an excellent rating.

My wife and I accidentally double-booked our week stay in London I sought a partial refund. I booked a non-refundable reservation so the hotel could legally keep my money though we were not staying, but since I contacted them with the request a week before our stay giving the hotel adequate time to re-sell the room they refused my refund requests by phone, email and in-person. Not customer friendly.

Location is great, easy access to Heathrow and the center, some useful shops nearby. Our room was a triple one, on 1st floor. It was very clean and there was enough place for three adults. The staff was friendly. The only problem was the wi-fi. It is said to be free wi-fi but actually it didn't work. There are computers near reception desk, though.

First time for me at a best western. I only stayed here for one night as the usual hotel is stay in was full. It is very close to Hammersmith station and there are lots of shops nearby, which is handy. The hotel is nice with a small bar in reception. The rooms are quite nicely decorated but some have no windows. I asked and they moved me too another room. The only real negative thing to say was that it was quite noisy from the street traffic. I stayed on the 3rd floor and it was quite loud. I'm a light sleeper so this was an issue for me. I'd stay here again but probably not on a business trip.

The place offers a great location (very close to the Hammersmith tube), has many shops around it and offers free Wi-Fi. We loved the hotel, they serve a good breakfast, though options are quite limited for vegetarians. The rooms are of decent size. The service is great, the staff are very friendly & helpful. Great location, close to subway station and close to Heathrow. We picked this hotel so we could have walking distance to the Apollo arena (just a few minutes away). Small rooms but nice and clean. Looked newly renovated. Staff was nice and friendly, what more could you ask?

Stayed here for one night after a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo. Rooms are very small, but have everything you would need. Would recommend as a good overnight location, but you wouldn't want to be stuck in the room for a long time! Breakfast was buffet style eat what you want and while not a huge selection, there's still enough for a good breakfast.

Good value, friendly staff and surprisingly a very spacious room. This hotel is in walking distance of the Hammersmith Apollo so it's perfect if you are coming into the city for a gig. Upon check-in I was offered a complimentary ticket for breakfast the following morning. We'll worth it.

My husband and I booked this hotel from May 12-14, 2016. The room we booked is relatively small compared to other hotels we've stayed. However, considering our size, we are small Asian couple, the room is ok for us. I appreciate that it offers breakfast since we like to start our tour with a full stomach. The staff are helpful.The location is safe. The room is clean. One can easily find this location: from London Heathrow airport, just ride the tube via Piccadilly line (the blue line) going to Hammersmith. In Hammersmith, go to Kings Street exit. Walk past Wasabi and King's Mall. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here in late May 2016. I booked online and requested two single beds in the option box as the site defaulted to a "double." On check-in we were given the double room and when I asked about the two singles I was told the hotel does not have twin rooms with two single beds. The room was small and only had a double bed. I mean a DOUBLE bed, the one smaller than a Queen and two sizes smaller than a King. I haven't slept in an actual double bed for years. This was most uncomfortable. I haven't encountered a hotel offering old fashioned double beds for many years now. It is surprising for this hotel considering it is not cheap. Even though the room is small it could accommodate at least a Queen size bed. Additionally, check-in was perfunctory and the breakfast quite ordinary. Overall, this hotel has a second rate feel to it. It has four stars so there must be some scale applied to that but I simply cannot see how it would attract four stars. There are plenty of better options nearby for the price. Give this one a miss. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great small hotel . Simple, small functional rooms. Close to the tube so can get to mid-London in 30 minutes. Lots of nearby pubs and places to eat . Short walk south to the Thames River which is a great place to set , eat , and have a beer! We'd definitely stay there again !

This hotel is ideally located in a central Hammersmith location surrounded by shops pubs and restaurants. The entrance isn't the clearest, as the first thing you see is the slot machine arcade. But once in the staff are friendly and the hotel is clean and modern. As others have said the rooms are not generous in size, they have very much tried to get as many into the space as possible to the point where you couldn't see the TV from the bed without a weird contortion. However this is London, small rooms are not unusual, and this was reasonably priced, clean and modern, with easy access to central London.

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the tube so very handy. Very pleasant man on reception. The room had no windows but had an adjustable skylight which was useful. Breakfast was very acceptable and plenty full. All in all a very good small hotel.

This is a standard, Best Western Hotel. Rather a three star place, clean rooms, comfortable beds (soft). Very close to the Underground station. Breakfast - continental, not very much of a choice, but for us - better than having English Breakfast. Free Wifi - good speed. Reasonably priced.

Small rooms... well ours was extremely small. To put it into perspective, we had to crawl over the bed to get from the entry door to the bathroom. The bed literally almost goes from wall to wall. Don't get me wrong, it's clean, there's all you need, it is modern but none the less, not the most practical room. Random fact, when we opened the window we were staring at a wall, not in the distance, we could touch it. To discuss budget I would say that the room was not too expensive but that is to London standards of course, 149 euro's and that does not include breakfast. The location of a hotel in London is subjective. If you know your way around the underground, almost every location is good or practical. It is however in a shopping street and I'm not talking fancy Oxford street shopping. It's more like your typical shopping street with a few local shops, pharmacy, Primark, etc... Well actually, the hotel is located between a KFC and gambling hall if my memory serves me well. We didn't have much interaction with the staff but from what I saw they were polite and very much laid back. Wouldn't know what happens if you had a complaint or problem. Would I attend this hotel again? Well I'm divided. I wouldn't make a big fuss if I was booked there again but I wouldn't greatly look forward to it either.

The hotel is accessed by a small door off the street and the reception is 1 floor up. It's not a welcoming start but don't be put off. The desk staff were OK. The room was very small but well equipped. The 3rd floor room had no windows but did have a skylight. The shower was great. The breakfast was basic and only continental. No hot food other than toast. V close to Hammersmith Tube and better than the Hilton Express down the road.

Room small but just fine even for two (couldn't bother less). Room clean and comfy, quiet at the night, equipped with tea, coffe and a kettle so it's a nice addition. Excellent location near subway, quiet neighbourhood, cheap stores nearby. Only thing I could complain about is breakfest, it's really average, without warm dishes like scrambled eggs, beans, and all that british stuff. So it's one thing I could change. Generally a decent place, I would still recommend.

Wasn't too impressed by this place. Main problem i had was just how incredibly small the room was (not uncommon with rooms in London but this seemed extreme). There was literally not enough space between the bed and the walls to lie down my suitcase fully. I actually find travelling on business and staying in rooms like this quite depressing. Maybe that's a personal thing! Location is obviously very good. Well decorated. Good air conditioning. Room was facing the road and cleaner and delivery truck noise woke me up repeatedly. Breakfast was very average. Staff seemed rather miserable and disconnected - i felt like i had to persuade them to help me. I will try to avoid staying here again.

Ideally situated for a trip to the Hammersmith Eventime Theatre the rooms were small, the bed a double apparently, was only a small double, two larger people would struggle for room. Our room was overlooking the" High Street" and you could hear all the vehicle movements and people outside even through the double glazing as if there was a window open. The room was clean and tidy and had all mod cons , the breakfast was fine. The hotel has a bit of an issue in that English is not the first language of some of the staff which makes communication difficult and on a couple of occasions almost impossible. On the whole the hotel served our purpose for a not unreasonable price. The hotel has no parking but we parked in a shopping centre nearby for £30 for 24 hrs

Firstly, let me start by saying the location of this hotel is perfect for Hammersmith tube or even the Apollo. It is literally a 2-3 minute walk. And for what we paid £80 it would have been a steal if it wasn't for the following........ The staff have no customer service skills let alone a shine of personality. They mumble, say the bare minimum and can't make eye contact. I just can't understand people like this working in this type of environment. When booking this hotel I requested as quiet a room as possible after reading other reviews on here and booking.com. We could not have got a noisier room, first floor, above the main road, right next to reception, the lift and main staircase. The smell of stale smoke around the room was not pleasant until i realised this was due to the bin in the room having not been emptied from the previous guests and that contained empty cigarette boxes. The ice machine in the corridor didn't work and there are no fridges in the room so be mindful of this. The bed is at best a standard double and my partner and i are not big people. It was however a comfortable nights sleep (if you stay still and are not wrigglers). We went out for breakfast the following morning, and when we returned at 11.45 we was locked out of our room. Being told checkout was 11 so they had blocked our card although my booking confirmation email specifically stated 1200. My recommendations: if you expect the bare minimum and I'm low you will be fine. If you expect more, don't waste the £80. There are other deals to be had.

Lovely hotel in good decorative order. Rooms were clean and the en suite was huge! My only negative, is that he room was far too hot, and when we turned the heating down, it didn't make any difference, so we had to open the window. Internet (wifi) is free. Breakfast is continental and the choice was reasonable, but not great.

I stayed 4 nights whilst working near, unfortunately I drove to London which was a big mistake, however, when I had managed to drive the 3 miles from my place of work I could usually find a parking place on the side street, and between 6.30pm and 8.30am there are no restrictions, I will amend if I get a ticket. There is a car park just up from the hotel through the Kings Mall, but there is a very sinister looking housing development of concrete flats, majority of which look boarded up, and doesn't look particularly safe, stick to the side roads. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly.

This is definately the smallest room I have ever stayed in. If my husband was standing at the end of the bed, I had to wait for him to finish what he was doing so that I could get by. Other then that, everything was great. Free breakfast in the morning with croissants and cereal, no hot waffles or pancakes like we get in the States or Canada, but with the price of food in restaurants in London, this was a bonus. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The location was fantastic, so close to the Hammersmith tube. We took the tube from the airport and it only cost us 1.5 pounds each for the trip. It is worthwhile to get the Oyster card and travel around London on their public transportation. Beautiful city!!

With an entrance positioned unpromisingly between a KFC takeaway and a casino, this hotel did not look like a good option. However, once you enter the first floor reception, things begin to look up. it's clean and pleasant and the staff are welcoming. There was the oddity of asking for a £10 cash damage deposit. Why, when it was returned in the morning with the room unchecked. The room itself was a real surprise - spacious, well equipped, pleasingly decorated with a very comfortable bed, a huge TV and relaxing lighting. The bathroom was enormous. For the price, it was well worth it. The only drawback was a tepid shower in the morning, which never warmed up even though it ran for quite a long time. Staff were very apologetic and offered vouchers as compensation. All in all, good value for the price. You wouldn't want to hang around there all day but if you have to been in that part of town, a good choice. And you could always pop downstairs for a spot of gambling it you were to get bored...

This was an excellent place (great value for money) to stay at close to London city center - we stayed 4 nights in Jun 2015 and had one double room and one triple room. The rooms very somewhat small - but nicely decorated with fresh, contemporary decor and clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice (and we are vegetarians). The staff was quite helpful - they would help us warm food for our 2 yr old toddler. The hotel is located in Hammersmith and about a 5-7 minute walk to the tube station (Hammersmith has two tube stations - one which is the start of the Circle and Hammersmith/City Lines - and the other on Picadilly/District lines) - the second one takes you to Westminster / Tower bridge etc.. - short 20 minute ride away. Next to the hotel there are some large stores (Primark) and a mall. Overall - an excellent stay for great value in London!!

We stayed for one night, hotel was spotless as was the room. Friendly staff who checked us in early and promptly which was a real help. Room was a little small but perfect for our needs and well equipped with kettle, coffee etc. There were also 2 bottles of water. Hairdryer available and toiletries. Breakfast is cold continental buffet with absolutely loads of choice. All in all a good break. Location from tube is literally a 5 minute walk. Would definitely use the hotel again.

My husband and I stayed one night as we were going to Hammersmith Apollo. Reviews I had read said about the rooms being very small but ours was perfectly adequate. Tea & coffee facilities and bottled water were provided. Considering we were on a busy road it was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was buffet continental and there was plenty of choice. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a well situated Hotel about 10 minute walk from the Railway/Bus station and the Apollo. We travelled up from Devon buy coach and need somewhere close to both. The entrance to the Hotel is very small and easily missed being wedged between two stores. The reception is upstairs but their is a lift. Our room was very clean and of a reasonable size and a safe was included in the price. We had a good sized well placed TV and aircon, In general the room looked newly refurbished. The cleaning staff were polite and friendly however the reception staff although polite seemed disinterested and lacked any enthusiasm they never smiled and offered no additional useful information. They didn't even thank us for our custom when we left just took the key. But that was a minor issue. Overall I would recommend this hotel and we would use it again

Shower worked perfectly We were only round the corner from Hammersmith Apollo (took about 5 minutes). Hammersmith is lovely area. Station just up the road from our hotel. Shopping centre next to hotel - lots of shops, coffee houses. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay at hotel again.

The service in the hotel was good, pleasant reception, well cleaned room each day and helpful breakfast staff with a vegan meal. Staff were all very accommodating and pleasant and influenced our good opinion. The room was small, 'bijou' might be the word. Initially we were given a room with no windows, outdoor light coming through a ceiling 'window'. We were offered a room upstairs with a window, attic corners to the room and again bijou, but we got to really like this room. The hotel has a nice feel to it. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area, and nearby the Lyric Theatre. Not far from the river for the Thames Path, Fulham Palace, London Wetlands. Also close by is Hammersmith Underground.

Nice modern and clean hotel we stayed at for one night when there to see a gig. The room was nice. The walk in shower with rainfall shower head was fantastic. LED lighting everywhere! Bed comfy (if not the largest double bed I've slept in but ok for a city hotel) Space ok (we stayed in an executive double - whatever that means?) What can I say? It ticks all the boxes, it's modern, it's clean, it's reasonable, it's close to the station and the gig! Will use this hotel again

Stayed there 1 night. Found everything to be really nice & clean. Bed very firm & comfortable, just as I like it. Shower amazing with great pressure & separate rain head and handset. Only criticism is layout of toilet. Sitting on pot was the closest thing I've done in years to getting into a Lotus Elise !! Far too close to sink and wall. Also, have to stand in lobby to brush your teeth unless you're only 6" wide !! Overall quite nice. Well placed for Hammersmith tube & Apollo theatre

Stayed overnight at this hotel after going to the Hammersmith Apollo. Great value for money, clean, staff welcoming. Although the room was small it was perfectly adequate for us. A nice touch was bottles of water as well as the usual tea and coffee in the rooms. Beds comfortable, the continental breakfast was good. Asked for gluten free bread and it was provided. The only thing was that security wasn't good, anybody could wonder around the hotel without being challenged. The rooms were secure but not the corridors. The reception counter was very high so that the staff couldn't see who was coming in. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a stay in London.

Excellent location for theatre, underground & shops.Overall very clean, comfy & secure with 4* touches, air con, free in room safe, complimentary toiletries, bottled water etc ice machine on landing. Room was tiny (only a small double bed) with only a skylight, no window, although it does open & there is a blind (all electronic). The staff weren't welcoming at all just telling us check out was 11 am (says 12 on website) the cleaner was the only one with a cheery hello! I asked for some extra coffee & it was like asking for gold dust!Breakfast ok, nice croissant, hot boiled eggs, cereal, ham etc but the toaster not working, only 1 toaster?!! A good manager would have popped out for a new one for a tenner! The room had a very wet patch on carpet (got wet socks), the bedside light didn't work & I'm not sure there should be a plastic bag over the smoke detector? All these niggles so easily fixed & then a glowing review & high recommendation.

Stayed at this hotel, ideally situated for anyone going to see a show at the Apollo Just minutes away from the venue and tube stations. Rooms clean, showers hot. Would definitely use this hotel again and recommend to family and friends.

This hotel was in a perfect location for our function at Hammersmith Town Hall. It was a bargain as far as London goes, clean room, water and tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, decent buffet continental breakfast. As we were friends staying together as opposed to a couple, we asked for a twin room, to be told there werent any. However, upon arrival, they had given us one of their triple rooms, which we were really pleased about. Paid 2.5 times more for a hotel along the road a few weeks ago, yes, it was a beautiful building, the room was bigger, but really, the comparison was not worth that sort of money, for the amount of time we spent at the hotel, i.e sleeping and breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo, only a 5 minute walk so great location. Hotel was very clean and nicely decorated , reception area had plenty of seating and the breakfast area was clean and well presented, breakfast was a bit chaotic, no plates then no bowls then no bread then no cups... It all eventually arrived but not without having to ask a member of staff. We stayed in room 312 which had a window but was small, it had everything we needed but not many places to store anything, only one metre of shelving so toiletries and the like ended up on the floor when we wanted to make a tea.... best shower I think I have ever had and very clean... Reason for 4 stars was the room really stank of stale smoke, we thought at first it was outside but no it was the room.. Other than that it was very stylish, modern and well presented.

This is a very pleasant hotel, staff where very friendly and the hotel is in walking distant to the tube station, ten minutes and your into Paddington. Plenty of nice pubs close by to eat. The breakfast was continental which was adequate and you could help yourself to as much as you wanted.

We only stay for one night, which was good as the room we booked was small, but it was nice and perfect for our needs. We had a good night sleep so we we're happy, the breakfast was nice with a good choice and the staff were nice and friendly. Only one down side we found the wifi very poor.

Nice hotel in a excellent location, as Hammersmith tube station is less than a 5 minute walk away for a 10 minute tube ride into central London. Hammersmith is also good location for shops, restaurants and theatre. Hotel was good value for London. Nice room and buffet breakfast.

The hotel is ok enough and clean enough but the rooms are tiny. It is good we were there for only night and thus brought hardly any luggage as there would not be room to leave a suitcase. The breakfast was basic but ok enough. All in all perhaps a bit expensive for what you get but for the rest ok.

Room was good, an opening skylight rather than a window was a little different to normal. Shower was great on arrival, but there was no hot water at 0840 on Sunday morning. Reception staff sent someone from maintenance to check, they confirmed "a problem" but offered absolutely no apology. Would have rated 4 if it weren't for this problem and the staff's nonchalance, which lead me to suspect this is a regular occurrence that is unlikely to be fixed. Couldn't get the free Wi-fi to work, but picked up on the KFC one downstairs instead!

Nice enough hotel. Mostly clean and tidy with modern but small rooms. Ideal for an evening at the Apollo and would definitely stay again. Continental breakfast was decent although a bit of a scrum as limited space in the reception/dining area.

Have just spent 1 night in this hotel. It was part of our Christmas pressy from our kids so no idea what the hotel was like. Our room was small but well thought out with a lovely shower room, pristinely clean and very chic . The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast is only continental but plenty of everything the biggest of appetites would be fuelled up for the day. The Hotel is 5mins from the tube and 5mins from Hammersmith Apllo (walking) Hammersmith itself ? It was our first visit but will definitely be back, the area is vibrant with plenty of bars & restaurants a good base to enjoy the touristy stuff but somewhere to come back and relax over a nice meal and s few drinks. Looking at some photos on the site some bathrooms look a bit cramped so just be aware. Ás for our experience brill stay looking to book again to stay a bit longer next time .

My husband and I stayed here for one overnight on a weekend of shows. We arrived in London early and rang the hotel to ask if they would look after our small case until we checked in. Better than that they checked us in straight away so we had the room immediately! It was on the small side but modern and very clean with a good size bed, desk/dressing table, two chairs and a wardrobe (open fronted too so the doors didn't get in the way! Brilliant!). Wall mounted TV too (although we didn't use it). There was plenty of tea and coffee and a good supply of milk cartons too, along with two complimentary bottles of water! The bathroom was a very good size, very modern with a big shower cubicle and again very clean! We had really good nights sleep and breakfast the following day was free and very acceptable, consisting of a continental style cold buffet. My only criticism was that the dining room was too warm to be comfortable. Overall an excellent establishment and we would happily stay again!

Great hotel and location. Just outside the 'real centre' of London. We had a great room, a bit small. But we've only slept there and had breakfast. We recommand this hotel to everyone who is planning to make a citytrip to Londen. The service was great and the bed was comfortable.

We paid for an executive double room which turned out to be a boxed attic room which was barely 10 foot by 10 foot - absolutely nothing executive about it. Air con didn't work and the shower was scorching or freezing. Two tea bags and two sachets of coffee. The hotel staff really need a lesson on customer care they we unfriendly unwelcoming and generally just didn't seem interested in the guests full stop. Breakfast was average but as there was no staff there to welcome you, you have to pretty much figure it out for yourself. I've stayed in at least another 5-6 Best Westerns all of which put this small hotel to shame. Don't get me wrong the hotel is very clean, modern and stylish and in an excellent location. unfortunately we will not be staying here again

Me and my fiance stopped here last year for a weekend of sightseeing in London. The room was very clean and modern, however extremely small. We had to take it in turns lying on the bed to allow the other to get changed before we went out. A continental breakfast was included in the stay, however it was very basic to say the least. We would have been much better eating a breakfast down the road where there was also a lot of choice. Great location to the tube, and Hammersmith itself has plenty of pubs, eateries and shops. However the size of the rooms for the price let it down.

We stayed here for three nights in April 2015 and it was well priced for where it is, the hotel is small, but it is well organised to fit everything in, its clean and the staff are friendly and offer you good help. The complimentary breakfast is a nice bonus, its not a full english, but its a continental freebie which for the price we paid, we couldn't complain. We will most probably be going back to stay here again int he future and although small, we've stayed in much smaller in other big cities.... It would be a great hotel for shopping as its close to a couple of huge shopping centres, and its within a couple of minutes walking of the hammersmith tube line...

I stayed one night in this hotel on returning from holiday and before continuing my onward journey. I got a budget price so it was reasonable value for money, though I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Hammersmith Tube station so is convenient for travellers, or those going to an event in Hammersmith. Only the entrance is on the ground floor with the reception on the first floor by stairs or lift. I was checked in reasonably efficiently, given a wifi code and told that the continental breakfast was included, which was a pleasant surprise as the site I booked through doesn't usually include breakfast. My room was on the third floor, and as others have commented you can't take the lift straight up there after 11pm. The room was smart, but very small with the bed taking up most of the space. The two bedside tables were taken up by a phone and an iPod dock - the latter a nice touch but it means there's nowhere to put your watch, glasses etc. After I'd gone to bed I realised the room was quite noisy and found that the inner window wouldn't close properly - someone had previously tried to wedge it shut with paper, but my further attempts were no more successful. Between the traffic noise and the rather lumpy mattress I didn't sleep all that well. On the plus side the shower was very good, the wifi worked well and the breakfast was adequate (especially as it was unexpected).

I have stayed in London hotels before - or should I say shoe boxes - so I was pleasantly surprised when we got in our room which was spacious, fit for purpose and clean. We had booked in advance to attend a concert which was cancelled but went as we didn't want to loose the booking. The staff were fantastic - and we were on the first floor - which with my recent disability was a great help - thank you ! we slept well with no noise and a relaxed continental breakfast. Not far from the tube and within a shopping area. I would recommend this hotel to London stayers and would hope to return on day.

Hotel is close to major transport hub (Hammersmith Station) and shops. Rooms are very compact so more suited to couples or singles. Noise-proofing is not great. Hotel was well cleaned and maintained. Facilities are minimal so this hotel is most suited to people who are spending most time elsewhere - which is what London is about! Breakfast is a continental buffet with a selection to suit most tastes but not the most extensive ever. I found the staff helpful.

Location was ok. I took the executive room, and was surprised of several things: - The desk space was very small to put my laptop on. I barely could open the screen to an appropriate angle, otherwise the laptop would fall in my lap! - There was no minibar or small fridge, which deprived me having cold water in the room, and made me one from the hotel bar every time I needed it! - The reception was on the 1st floor, and the main entrance was on the ground floor. For security reasons, after 11 PM you can only go up to the 1st floor where the reception is, and you have to continue your journey using the stairs!

This is the 3rd stay we have had at this hotel. Very convenient position with short walk from Hammersmith Bus/Train Station. Lots of choice of eating out places very close by with shopping centre and banks. Comfortable, clean and smart hotel. We have returned a few times as easy travel to our onward destinations, shopping/theatre and for visiting family. Great staff and the hotel is kept very well. Buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Rooms are a little on the small size but well fitted out and with a great shower and comfy bed what more can you want. We will be returning again very soon.

Really beautiful hotel stayed with my Husband for 1 night in a standard double room. Really comfy bed and the room was presented lovely. Its in a great location close to all the shops and resturants only a very short walk to Hammersmith tube station. Breakfast was included in the price of the room it was a normal continetal breakfast with unlimited drinks layout made it really quick to be able to eat and be on our way. Overall high standard and friendly staff all for a good price especially considering its location.

Stayed for 3 nights for long weekend in London. Very small room, could not have stayed in it for more than a couple of nights. Easily the smallest room we have had in comparable level hotels, however it was very clean and well kept and we did pay a budget level price. Silly things like wired in hairdryer no where near mirror in room(irritated wife), and difficult for both of us to see TV together, even in bed, due to room shape/size. Breakfast continental choice also much worse than comparable hotels we have used in London and other cities. Lay out in breakfast area badly thought out leading to long queues. Have given 4 stars purely on location ( we like Hammersmith) and price we paid,

This hotel is a pleasant surprise, claiming it to be four star is a bit ambitious but it wasn't charging London 4* prices. Great location, clean and tidy. Wifi was a bit slow and the shear number of switches and controls in the room took a while to figure out. We just needed somewhere to sleep after a show at the Hammersmith Apollo and it was perfect for that.

I booked this hotel for 1 night for Sunday 6th December ~ I live in Cumbria and tragically we have been hit by severe floods again. It is not possible to travel, trains cancelled. However the lovely gentleman on reception at Best Western was very disinterested and will not even consider refunding the room cost. We are on high alert, people have been flooded and evacuated from their homes, police are urging us not to travel at all........ however at least Best Western have not lost the payment for the room.

I knew my room would be tiny and that is not my gripe, it was just how unclean it was. The carpet had not been vacuumed and the door to the en suite kept dragging in all sorts of people's hairs! The check in clerk could barely stand to speak to me even, as if it was all a bit too much for him. I know we all have other issues and worries on our mind, life isn't always a walk in the park. But when you're in the service industry it's pretty vital that there is a high level of service! It's is ideal for location though and bed was comfortable. If you're just using it for sleeping you will be fine.

I visited here in November after a concert at the Apollo. We had a great room. All the facilities you need etc, clean and airy. My only criticism would be the reception - slow and dis-organised. Their system seemed slow at recognising 'on-the-day bookings'. The breakfast was good. I would stay again.

Stayed at the best western seraphine for a short break/shopping/theatre trip in London. We decided on Hammersmith so that we were encouraged to travel around London and it is quite close to the Westfield shopping centre. This hotel is rated 4 stars by the AA. The rooms are very small and very hot. It lacked atmosphere and was more for anyone travelling to London on business. The facilities were adequate and the shower was lovely. But wouldn't recommend for a fun trip to London. If you didn't know Hammersmith it would be easy to miss this hotel as the entrance is a small door on a Main Street. The staff were helpful accommodating and friendly. Although there is no one to help with luggage. The room was terribly hot in fact the heat was overwhelming. The breakfast is continental although you can book a full English at the cost of £10 per person. A little steep I think. There is a small bar but again wouldn't recommend for a few drinks after a night at the theatre. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift doesn't go up there after 11 at night for security reasons. The views from our rooms were a little dismal but there were tea and coffee facilities in the room although with the lack of space it was awkward.the stay was again adequate although wouldn't stay again.

I stayed here for one night for Business in November. I had a tiny single room, but it had all I needed. Decent telly, hairdryer, kettle and drinks tray, lovely large shower in my en suite, safe and even complimentary bottle of water. Breakfast was a sumptuous continental affair with fresh fruit salad and yogurt, eggs, ham, cheese, breads, pastries, toast, juice and hot drinks, lovely! Also the hotel has a lift which is brilliant for the less mobile. All in all a bargain and I would happily stay there again.

Dare I say it my better half insisted on dragging me along to see Will Young and wanted a night in town staying close to the Eventim Apollo. I chose the Best Western PLUS Seraphine Hammersmith Hotel and what a great decision, The hotel was extremely convenient being only 5 minutes walk and nestled in the heart of Hammersmith Shops and nearby restaurants, . The room had a very comfortable double bed, TV, Coffee Tea making , safe and large walk in Shower. For a nights stay in an easy reach location for Eventim Apollo we can both highly recommend this friendly hotel.

Stayed here for one night as it was close by a hotel where we were staying the following night. First time we had stayed in Hammersmith and we pleasantly surprised as it was close to the tube. The rooms were clean and comfortable although compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. The breakfast was decent for cold buffet style with reasonable choice.

We arrived at the hotel and we instantly impressed with it's modern décor. We had an issue with our room and when I complained it was very quickly resolved which was fantastic - thank you to who served us at the reception! The hotel was the perfect distance from Shepherd's Bush Empire and was about a 15-20 minute walk from the venue but had restaurants and shopping that were very close. The docking station in our room was damaged and started sparking when we tried to use it so I brought that to a staff member's attention. She offered us a 10% off voucher for our next stay at any Best Western Hotel, which I wasn't expecting at all but was a lovely touch. The staff members we dealt with were very professional and helpful so can't fault them or the hotel.

A very clean, comfortable room but be warned they are very small. I bumped my knees on the sink every time I went to the toilet (and I'm an average sized woman) and to get from one side of the bed to the other involved crawling over the bed or leaning back to avoid the TV on the wall. The bed was very comfortable though!

Modern, quite smart hotel but very small rooms. Modern bathroom with double shower (very good water supply) but mine smelled badly of damp drains. Beds not that comfy but pillows OK. Free internet and continental breakfast. Breakfast OK and you can order full English for £10 extra which I think is too much. No heating, my control was set on cool and although you could turn up to 30 degrees and change the fan speed it just blew cold air, no way to turn to 'heat'. After 11pm you can only get to floor 1 in the lift and you have to walk along way to another lift to get to floor 2 and 3 which is a pain if you are over on the right side of the building. There is a small bar which is handy and plenty of power sockets at useful heights. Parking is at nearby shopping area but £30 plus for 24 hours, better to only spend 16 or less for £20.

This is the place for you. Just 2 blocks from the Metro Hammersmith station (blue line), taxi and bus stops and a couple of great restaurants, this place was magnificent. It reminded me of NYC in the way that the hotel was just a door off of the street (we almost missed it), but once inside it was cozy and comfortable. The room was tight, I'm not going to lie, but not the tightest of rooms I've been in. My friend and I were able to move comfortably around each other. United never sent my luggage to me, and I was stewing in the same clothes for 24 + hours. The concierge at the front desk was extremely helpful and made suggestions for me when I needed clothing and a toothbrush and shampoo and and and, since I am a poor carry-on-packer/girl scout and was not at ALL prepared to not have my luggage. Anyway, there is a store right downstairs ( I forget the name ) and it is like out Forever 21. They had cheap clothing and all of the essentials. Let's not forget Poundland (the dollar store). Amazing. Breakfast was good as well. I you are expecting the typical American breakfast with sausage, eggs, ect. Don't come here. Any maybe stay in America. They had an assortment of pastries, salami, cheese, all types of coffee, including, but not limited to, cafe americana, mocha, cappuccino. They also have toast and bagels and fruit salad. The place was clean, the windows opened to the street, which I loved. The only thing was, I love the air conditioning when I sleep, and it didn't seem to go below 19 degrees celsius (about 66 degrees fahrenheit). Which may sound reasonable to some people, but it did get hot when we slept or when we were blow drying out hair. That leads me to appliances. They have a blow dryer there that is completely obnoxious. It has pretty good power, but you have to hold down a button to keep it on. Definitely good to save electricity, bad for my thumb. I did try to plug in my travel blow dryer, but the voltage amount was too much and it shorted out the room. Annoying, I was stuck with this push-to-start, low blow, blow dryer. I however, made it through, and the world kept on turning.

I did not like this hotel particularly for many reasons. Access to lobby is though elevator from the street with no great security; anyone could access the rooms! Hotel was old and rooms where deteriorated; very strong odour of cologne all around. Breakfast was poor and service was very limited.

Yes rooms are small but clean comfortable and quite breakfast is top class all fresh eat as much as you like, Hammersmith tube serves 3 different lines in London so you rarely need to change lines tube is 5 mins walk with plenty of shops pubs and restaurants en route. Would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Was booked in here by work while attending a course in London.I was allocated the dreaded Room 101 - which is smaller than a prison cell! In fact most prisoners would riot if stuck into such a small room. I estimated it as no more than 65 square feet - including the en-suite shower room! I could stand in the middle of the room and touch both walls without stretching. The head of the single bed was stuck into an alcove only 3 feet wide so the only way to get in and out was crawl down the length of the bed; the bedside light was on a metal fitting 18 inches above the mattress so I hit my head every time I sat up; there was a permanent draught from the window plus traffic noise and bright light outside so got no sleep. Final straw was being told that if I wanted a full English breakfast that had to be ordered and paid for the night before! So, I cancelled the remainder of the booking and moved out!

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay the hotel was so easy to find and only a 5 min walk from the Hammersmith train station! IIt was right in the centre of shops which was helpful and our room was really nice. The rainfall shower was amazing and the bed was so comfy and the room was so cosy, we soon made ourselves feel at home! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the gentleman in charge was very useful and kept our luggage in storage before we checked in! I would definitely recommed it, the buffet continental breakfast was satisfying although we would of preferred a cooked breakfast as an option! We will defintely be coming back, we had a lovely time in London and staying somewhere so nice makes the experience even better!

You could easily miss this hotel completely as the entrance is set in a line of shops,and there is a cycle lane and road right outside, which makes getting into the hotel from a parked vehicle a bit of a challenge.There are stairs and a lift/elevator up to the reception area. The décor is very contemporary, bright, unusual - but it works! My room was a disabled friendly room, spacious and very comfortable. The only problem was the heavy glass sliding door o0f the shower was half off the runners and the handle was missing but the shower could still be used. I reported this to reception. The shower itself was excellent. Breakfast was continental style and there was a good selection. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Good hotels are hard to find in London as the rooms are often cramped and hot but the Seraphine was excellent, just a pit there is no car park.

Our room was a Standard double..More like a rabbit hutch. Not a room for two people. Couldn't get around the bed as the room was too small. Couldn't have the bedroom window open at night, as the air con machine outside was very very noisy. Hurt my back trying to sit on the loo as it was so tight to get in the bathroom.

After booking brackenbury apartments (AWFUL AVOID AT ALL COSTS) I had struggled to find elsewhere to stay for the second night in with short notice! Managed to find this place and was very reasonably priced even though some people have put bad reviews about this don't let that put you off if it wasn't for this hotel we would of had an awful weekend stuck in an awful appartment!! We stayed in room 228 and it was fantastic!! Couldn't fault it what so ever, yes room was small but was decorated beautifully and very modern :) bathroom was huge and also very modern and clean very happy with that!! Another thing that we liked was the fact that the bedding and quilts had either been washed in sort of a perfume freshener or this had been sprayed on, however this was a very nice touch and smelt lovely!! If I was to go back to London I would definatkey stay here 100%!!! :)
