"Budget hotel"
joseahrodrigues, 21 Mars 2024

Good for a overnight stay in London, between Victoria and Pimlico tubs, dont expect any help from reception team. If you need early checkin or late checkout you'll probably not gonna have it. Rooms are very small, double beds are really small for the standard.

"Potential to be a nice hotel but in need of a refurbishment!"
Jayyyy_D97, 29 Février 2024

While working in London, I was booked by my company to stay at Best Western Corona which was a 15 minute walk from the office. Check-in was pleasant and the staff were very helpful and cheery and on first impressions it looks like a lovely hotel, however I was allocated room LG06 which was in the basement of the building and this is where things went wrong. The room although it was spotlessly cleaned and the bed was comfortable unfortunately I didn't have a great stay. The room was tiny and although marketed as a double room, if a couple was staying in here, it would get very crowded very quickly. The room was located next to a court yard area, however on the first night of my stay, I had people constantly going in and out which resulted in the door to the area continuously slamming which disturbed my sleep. The bathroom was very cramped, I'm 6ft4 and had to sit at an angle to use the toilet as the positioning of the sink was a poor design, the shower cubicle door was broken and as a result each night I stayed at this hotel, the bathroom would flood with water as the door on the shower wouldn't close. The room could do with a major refurbishment, lots of wooden furniture which is chipped, wall plug sockets not fitted straight and a massive crack with plaster coming off on the wall by the door. There is a radiator in the room although anytime you turn it off, the room smells heavily of damp. I can't comment on breakfast as I didn't have it at the hotel, however the breakfast room is at the end of the hallway so each day of my stay at 6.30am I could smell cooking which did smell nice but I know many people wouldn't want food smells in the bedroom. With the right improvements I would come back because of the convenience to the office I was working in but otherwise I wouldn't.

"an excellent value in a safe and convenient area"
Bucka296, 26 Février 2024

Very good location, friendly staff (Jesus, Adnan, etc.), check in and check out very easy. The hotel is very good with lift. The room was very clean and made us feel good and relaxed. In room is safe, TV, hairdryer and facilites for making coffee or tea. WI-FI is very good, even in the 4th floor. The bathroom is not big, but it has everything you need - shower, toilet, sink, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The room was very quiet and clean. The front desk team is very kind and helpful. I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again. Excellent location and service. Fair price for a very quite and welcoming hotel. Very close to the tube Pimlico station (4 minutes walk away) or a bus stop just 2 minutes away from the hotel, making it easy to access major attractions. Hotel is located close to restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, pubs - everything in just 5 min walking distance. 10 min walk straight up the same street to the Victoria station. 15 min slow walk to Buckingham Palace. Breakfast is amazing, very good choices- eggs, jam, sausages, cheese, salmone, coffee and tea maker, juices, nutella, honey, milka, croissants, toast, different choice of yogurts, fresh fruit- pineapple, melona, peach, avocado etc. You can eat as much as you can. There is very kind and friendly Mrs. Cristina so if you have some wishes (like you don't want scrambled egg) just tell her. A quiet neighborhood, great location of the hotel and gives a strong sense of safety.

"Worth a one night crash"
claessonstravel, 03 Février 2024

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Very good location, friendly staff, check in and check out was easy. They even gave us an hour later check out. We had the room in what seems like the basement which did not seem so fresh. Was carpeted, view of what seemed like under the street. Felt stuffy and little smell of mould in the hallway to the room. Shower available, towels, hot water, tv, but NO toothpaste. It felt like one could break in through the window here. We had a goog night's sleep after a very long trip. Breakfast was available at a price we did not think was acceptable being a BEST WESTERN chain so we opted not to take the breakfast. Thanks for your hospitality at the front desk.

"Great stay."
Leslie M, 18 Janvier 2024

The hotel was very good. The room was small and the bathroom was very small. The room was very quiet and clean. The front desk team was kind and helpful. It was very handy to the tube station and a lovely area. I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

"Just an average facility"
Japhet M, 02 Janvier 2024

One would expect an international chain to put some effort but this is the second Best Western where am getting disappointed. The other one being in Zanzibar. Nothing special really other than the check in process. A single room has a miniature banker bed, similar to those of dormitories. The bathroom is quite squeezed and breakfast is just bare. If you are just of average size and height adult, take note to book a double. Not sure this is a return.

"Shabby expensive"
colinf394, 08 Décembre 2023

Tiny room, dirty carpet, plastic cups, noisy, no aircon, cheapest toilet paper. Seating in reception long past its best and very cheaply recovered. Glad I didn't take my cat to swing. At £225 per night without breakfast the was very poor value. Best Western you can do better.

"Comfortable Stay in Central London"
Ebordavid, 10 Novembre 2023

I spent four very comfortable nights in this hotel. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and professional. My partner was prevented from joining me because his flight from Spain was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. However the hotel staff did everything they could to compensate for my disappointment. Thank you, especially to Elton and the reception team!

"City Break"
karenannestewart, 04 Octobre 2023

Great location for what we needed. On arrival our room wasn't ideal but they offered to move us next day without us asking. I asked for use of an iron which was all set up in room waiting for me on my return same day & removed next day. Reception staff Very helpful & friendly. Would use this hotel again.

"Excellent"
Sightsee66765531351, 01 Octobre 2023

Excellent location and service. Fair price for a very quite and welcoming hotel. Very close to the tube, restaurants, supermarkets and any other facilities. The room was very clean and made us feel good and relaxed.

"Close to Victoria Train/tube Station"
hop4pen, 27 Septembre 2023

This was an ideal location for me. 10 min walk straight up the same street to the train & tube station. Also easy access to hop on/off bus outside station. 10 min walk to Palace. Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast choices. Room quiet, although a bit small, was enough room for single traveller. Good shower(plenty of room and hot water). Wifi good.

"BW Corona"
dasabe1974, 09 Septembre 2023

Stayed with my daughter for 1 night as she was attending a concert. Location was excellent, near the tube station, which was what we needed - a good connection to O2. Room was rather small but it didn't bother us as we only needed to sleep. Unfortunately it was very hot, provided fan did help a bit. I would not hesitate to book again, if needed.

"Hot in the Big City"
flintstone154, 04 Septembre 2023

Was told at booking our room reservation and air conditioning. I ask for this specifically because I've been to Europe before and not all hotels have Air. You can only imagine my displeasure when it was Hot and we had no AIr..

"Great Location, Clean Rooms"
Bogdana R, 11 Juillet 2023

A very helpful team of hotel employees - thank you. The location is great. A quiet neighborhood with affordable prices. Close to the Pimlico station - easy commute by subway to Heathrow. Walking distance to Victoria Station & Westminster. Great caffes in the neighborhood.

"Convenient Location, Comfortable Stay"
Pavness, 03 Juillet 2023

Pros: The location is great and gives a strong sense of safety. The room is basic but comfortable. Although it might not offer a spacious layout, it aligns with the typical standard for accommodations in London and at that price point. Pimlico station is conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to access major attractions. If you like to walk, attractions like Hyde Park and Westminster Abbey can also be accessed on foot. Additionally, there is a bus stop located just 2 minutes away from the hotel, providing excellent connectivity to various destinations. While the Best Western Corona does not have its own restaurant, there are numerous dining options available in the vicinity, including pubs. Furthermore, if you plan on traveling by coach or need to catch a train to Gatwick Airport, Victoria station is a convenient 10-minute walk away. I personally found the hotel to be quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. Cons: There weren't many significant issues to note, although it could be considered a bit pricey considering the amenities provided. However, it's important to keep in mind that this is central London, where prices tend to be higher. One minor inconvenience was the absence of body lotion, which I expected to be a basic amenity, but unfortunately, they had run out of it during my stay.

"London Visit"
justingV5636CR, 19 Juin 2023

Location is excellent. Close to a lot of sites, the tube, Victoria station which is the starting point for many tours. The hotel itself is lacking. No AC which was rough as it was quite hot. Beds are horrid, mattress has to be the absolute cheapest option. Bathrooms are pretty small, showers have one temp (hot) and water pressure is crazy. All in all if you are interested most in location, it's good. If you want anything comfort wise, it's not great.

"Great Location in the heart of London"
gkelsey1986, 28 Mai 2023

Friendly and helpful staff members. Hotel located close to mayor attractions, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, and public transportation. Rooms are very small but something bigger is more $$$.

"Best Avoid This One"
Sara B, 23 Mai 2023

Really disappointed with this hotel and wouldn't recommend. The bathroom is so small that you can only open the door halfway as it hits the sink, you then have to close the door to get to the shower. The bed is on the small side and it would be nice if there was a mattress on top of what feels like wooden planks. Tea and coffee, hope you're not thirsty, you get 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets. Great to listen to the person in the floor above, pee, stop, pee a bit more, stop. The room looks out in the main road and the bedroom is lit up all night. Breakfast is - throw all the items into the deep fat fryer.

"Did the trick"
hs2405, 10 Février 2023

Very pleasant staff at reception on arrival and on departure. Asked if all was ok and if they could do anything else to help. Genuine smiles. Room was clean and the TV worked. Did the job for an overnight stay

"Corona Hotel"
cha901, 12 Janvier 2023

Very very nice staff, all of the receptionists are kind and service minded, the building itself is very old have some problems with floors and bathroom. The shower was the biggest problem. But thank you for the good service!

"Worst hotel and bed ever!!"
E5007GEmanuels, 14 Décembre 2022

I travel quite often especially to London and, considering the standard room in the city which are not big and comfortable, this is by far, the worst i have ever been. The room cost above 200 €/Night and it was tiny but, the worst was the bed. I cannot describe with words how horrible it was, Please, do not come to this hotel!!

"Very disappointed! Would not recommend"
Emma C, 08 Décembre 2022

Very disappointed! I have booked a stay with my parents for 2nights. Having staying in Best Western previously I expected a much better level of hotel stay. The rooms are noisy and require double glazing- non of us had a restful night's sleep with the constant traffic and street noise. This added to the fact that the beds are hard and uncomfortable, the bed bases are exposed and dirty. We could not watch T.V as the signal was constantly breaking up. And finally there was no hot water the shower was freezing cold! Certainly not worth the room rate and I will not be staying here again or recommending. This will also put me off booking Best Western again in future.

"Very pleasant stay at Best Western Corona London"
Maddie72022, 06 Décembre 2022

The hotel room was clean and all the amenities (wifi, hot shower, heater, hair dryer) were working. The cleaning lady was particularly helpful as she emptied the rubbish bin for us and provided us with fresh towels (as we preferred not to have our rooms cleaned).

"Great hotel and staff"
lucypugh15, 18 Août 2022

Hotel was very good, so close to tube and bus. Walkable to Victoria, Buckingham palace and Westminster. Such a great hotel. I am gluten free and I was looked after very well. Room was fine for London.

"Good Location and Value"
Ken S, 26 Juin 2022

Location is good and is within walking distance to restaurants, mini markets and theatre. Area is nice and pleasant for walking. Breakfast is available at an added cost but is convenient to have and is prepared well and with good variety. Staff was always very pleasant and helpful. The room did not have any drawers for clothes but there was a sofa you could put clothes on and closet for hanging clothes.

"Disappointed"
apenklis, 23 Juin 2022

The hotel is in a great location of the city, that is basically where the positives stop. The rooms are some of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. There is no air-conditioning and the days we were there is was 34C. The rooms were unbearably hot. The first room the shower was Brocken, the second room the bed was broken. The fire alarm went off due to the kitchen in the middle of the night. At 700 pounds for three nights it is grossly over priced, that doesn't even include breakfast.

"Belgrave beauty in London"
nigemarmail, 15 Mai 2022

This lovation was recommended to me by my cousin. They indicated location, price and breakfast were excellent for our London holiday. This could not be more accurate. Alex led off our holiday at front desk by simply being really excellent at his job. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. From front desk to cleaning to breakfast room. If you want to be in a prime locstion to bus, walk, train and fly…the Corona Best Western is so good!

"Terrible hotel"
W9970HNjamesf, 27 Avril 2022

Stayed here for two nights, location is great but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. I will start with the room I have bigger cupboards in my house, the room was tiny. The noise from the constant traffic outside keeps you awake all night. Breakfast was awful everything was cold and tasteless. No proper kitchen or chef to cook just a small kitchen with a grill. On a positive note staff at reception where very polite and helpful. Won't be staying there again.

"Ok to stay, no thrills"
StefanS71, 13 Avril 2022

I am always amazed how low the value for money is on what you get in London. We stayed two nights in the BW on a short trip to London. It is in a quiet street and a good starting location. A few walking min to good bus stations and 10min walking distance from Victoria station. We could reach all main areas within less than 30min. The staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in was fast. The room was in the basement. Bathroom was refurbished and clean but you should not be very tall if you want to sit on the toilet. The room it self was small but ok. It was directly next to the breakfast area so the whole room smelled like egg and bacon starting 630 and at 730 you had the breakfast traffic next to your room. The breakfast and area was basic but ok. Enough room and some basic selection. It was not included in the already expensive room rate. A reasonable choice for a hotel in London, but do not expect anything more than basic for the amount of money you pay.

"Wonderful"
Wanderingwonderings, 06 Avril 2022

Had a wonderful stay here. The room was more than adequate for our 1 night stay. The bed was comfy. The shower was hot. The room was clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We asked a few questions about the area and the staff pointed us in the right direction. Room on the fourth floor was quiet, despite being on the road side of the hotel. The name is quite, erm, unique for these pandemic times. Made us smile.

"Excellent value for money"
Mrs_SNorthLincs, 05 Avril 2022

My daughter had stayed here for previous visits to London so we booked when we came together for a long weekend. The hotel is very central in a very safe area. We had 2 rooms, room only, which were very adequate, clean and large enough for short stays. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early prior to booking in time and were able to leave our cases. If I have one criticism, it is the walls are quite thin and you can hear outside noises, but that was a minor fault, which hardly bears mention. In every other way, this is the hotel we will come back to.

"Above & beyond!"
303hayleyk, 25 Mars 2022

Absolutely chuffed to see the effort that was put into making my daughters birthday extra special. I was hoping for a small gesture to celebrate her birthday stay but she received a lovely card, balloon, chocolates and some soft drinks. It really made her stay extra special. Thankyou so much Helen for making this happen!

"Booked for the location"
genesis_74, 11 Mars 2022

Having stayed here before while visiting London for the night, I knew what I was getting. For value for money, it's hard to beat for such a central location. 10 minute walk from Victoria Station, and 15 minutes to Parliament Square. Booked a single this time, which was perfectly adequate. Small, but that's to be expected. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean. Definitely one to remember when in need of a room in this area.

"Good and clean"
lostsoul1977, 14 Février 2022

Very good location. Very welcoming. We had a family room. Double and single beds. Quiet location. We went for a midnight walk down to Westminster less than 1/2 hour away. Not posh but fine for us. Reasonable price around £250 for a Friday/Saturday night. Nice Italian restaurant - "oh sole mio" nearby too.

"Theatre trip - one night stay"
Lesley W, 05 Février 2022

Great location, staff super friendly and helpful. We arrived early and were able to check in and access our room - breakfast plentiful and good value as it was included in our room rate. On checkout we were offered bag drop which was really helpful as train home wasn't till the evening- would definitely return

"Not good value"
jameseY1471PV, 11 Décembre 2021

Considering the price (£177 per night, December 2021) this hotel is poor value for money. Filthy carpets, dusty room, thin walls, below average breakfast, unreliable key cards for the locks, and a tiny bathroom. The original sash windows look nice, but really just let in the draft and road noise. Cheaper than other options shouldn't mean standards drop this far. For one night, if you can find nothing else, this will do. If you're looking for somewhere to stay on holiday though, there are much nicer hotels than this one.

"Good Location"
CheesyChips29, 08 Décembre 2021

Short walk from Pimlico Station on the Victoria line, and Victoria Station is around 8 mins to walk. Buckingham Palace is also within walking distance. Hotel is located around the corner from Pimlico Thai restaurant & Cask pub which were both fantastic and reasonably priced for food and drinks. Hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay but did not disturb us. Our room was located on the first floor with double bed, spare bed, bathroom with shower & toiletries (no bath), warm heater (used this as room was a little cold near window), TV, dressing table and spacious wardrobe. All in all a pleasant stay with friendly staff, however our Scottish notes (which we were given as change here in London) were not accepted at reception when attempting to pay for refreshments so suggest card payments wherever possible.

"Disappointing and basic"
542EmilyH, 27 Novembre 2021

Hotel was ok, very average. I arrived late due to work and upon arrival was given no details of any breakfast. Room was cold, small and limited but to be expected. Stains on the carpet and missing complementary items except conditioner. Very disappointed to wake up after 4.5 hours sleep to scaffolders outside my room shouting and drilling holes through hollow metal tubes meaning I lost 3 hours sleep I desperately needed. At checkout noone enquired about my stay or apologised about the builders. Wouldn't stay again.

"Good location hotel"
Mrs5miffy, 14 Novembre 2021

Hotel is approx. 20 mins from Buckingham palace. Rooms are comfortable but do need updating. Breakfast was satisfactory, ingredients used for cooked breakfast are poor and there isn't a great deal of variety. This said if you are after a quick breakfast then it's satisfactory. We've stayed in Best Westerns before and this is the reason we choose this hotel but it wasn't of the same standard we've experienced previously.

"Comfortable enough, a few changes needed."
benjyt, 30 Octobre 2021

The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, enough choice and the hot food was great. My friend's ground floor room was lovely, although a very hard mattress. The staff got her a mattress topper. My room was nice enough, although the noise from the upper floor was very disruptive. The shower tray filled with water as it wasn't draining away. This soaked the floor. The shower door wouldn't close at all and just kept bouncing back into the cubicle, which was tiny. Also on both mornings of our stay, my room filled with the smell of cigarette smoke. Location is great for exploring all the sights of London. Would I stay there again? Yes, overall it was a comfortable stay, just a few niggles.

"Business Stop over"
IAN B, 21 Octobre 2021

Friendly staff gave a warm welcome at check in and check out. My room was big, comfy bed and had all i needed. Was in the basement though so no view apart from a brick wall. Breakfast didn't start until 7.30 so was too late for me and my colleagues who needed breakfast at 7am

"Better than expected"
janchol, 24 Septembre 2021

Located within walking distance of Pimlico and Victoria stations so easy access to tube. In a street of 4 storey old buildings. Large pleasant reception area. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. 24 hour reception. All areas of hotel very clean. Some rooms with view of the London eye and houses of parliament. Room a reasonable size. Easy to use shower plenty of hot water. Very comfy bed. Very quiet area. so a great nights sleep.

"Short stay spot on"
philllew13, 16 Septembre 2021

Can't fault this hotel easy check in and out, location perfect from Victoria Station to access most of London, staff were perfect, felt at home there. Room was perfect for us as we only slept there, breakfast had lots of choice. Definitely stay there again 100%

"London stay"
katiegittoes, 10 Septembre 2021

Great location, the rooms were clean and small but we were out the majority of the time so this wasn't an issue. Breakfast was basic but staff were lovely and helpful. definitely stay here again and recommend.

"Great place . Excellent staff"
Melarina82, 27 Octobre 2020

Myself husband and son stayed here for 2 days and couldn't fault it . The staff were amazing so friendly and would help with anything if needed . Rooms clean and building also very clean so Thank you to all the cleaners . It's very close to 2 underground stations and the main Victoria train and coach station . We loved it a great will be staying here again when in London . Big Thank you to all the staff for making our stay safe .

"Needs work "
LinziD74, 01 Octobre 2020

Very disappointed in this hotel looked at lots of hotels which was cheaper and would have been a lot nicer. Very small room and bathroom no room to move. Very noisy due to busy traffic. Good location and lots of little hide away eateries near by. Would stay in the area again but not the same hotel.

"Decent"
kenmacc1, 13 Mars 2020

Went here for a weekend break. This is a decent place for the price considering it's in London. 3-4 min walk to the tube station so perfect to get into the centre quick enough. All in all a good hotel small rooms but big enough for a weekend. Clean rooms what more do you need. All the staff were helpful and cheery. Would definitely go here again.

"Good value for money, good location"
Lauren R, 11 Mars 2020

Hotel itself was a lovely building and in a nice area (pimlico). A nice pub up the street and a nice bakery for breakfast nearby (gails). The staff were friendly and helpful as the bed next to window had a draft but staff were happy to provide extra bedding which solved the problem. They also kept our bags after check in whilst we went out so that could collect them just before going home. The shower was spacious with a large showerhead. Beds were comfy and the room was cleaned daily with fresh complimentary shower gel etc. Location was perfect for catching the tube to any area in London. Would definately stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is having a lamp near the third bed as there was no access to a light if you needed the loo in the night and with it being up a step it was easy to trip over!

"Perfect for us"
izziwizz2018, 21 Février 2020

Lovely hotel for two friends visiting for a west end show. Central. Good transport links. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable clean room. Very quiet. Only quibble tv had no reception. Not a problem for us but could be for people with little kids.

"Not great but staff nice and friendly "
U5354, 12 Février 2020

Unfortunately the size of a single room was abysmal. Appreciate its probably a conservation area but the windows need serious attention. Mine was rattling in the wind. Clean bathroom and sleeping area were small but the saving grace is the staff who are genuine and helpful. With a bit if TLC and a review of smaller rooms it could be a nice hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with usual buffet and full English options.

"One night business stay"
Jason_Scotland1980, 20 Janvier 2020

Value for money appears quiet good. I was checked in quickly and went to room 103 which is right opposite lift. Rooms very small however walk in shower was big enough. I found bed uncomfortable and outside road noise very loud, age of building probably dictates quality of windows. Breakfast is buffet style with staff bringing you toast and directing you to coffee etc. A little investment would bring this place up. Shower was good and felt refreshed after a broken sleep. Staff are friendly and location is good considering price paid.

"Good location, rooms small and uncomfortable "
Jessica W, 02 Janvier 2020

Good price for a central hotel within walking distance of Thames, Westminster and Buckingham Palace. However, room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. The bed was also very uncomfortable and small for a double.

"They should remove the word Best."
f189j3s7d1080ce32020, 01 Janvier 2020

The bathroom drains were clogged. We couldn't take a bath properly. And on our last day the room upstairs were leaking. There was water coming down from the ceiling and dripping into our toiletries. There was water everywhere. I told the front desk that our toiletries were dripping wet from the leak and I asked if the water was clean or not. They just said sorry and transferred us to another room.

"Poor beds "
mahound29, 19 Novembre 2019

I'll start with the positives: the staff here are super friendly and helpful, that includes both reception staff and the staff working in the kitchen at breakfast. The space is really clean and the shower is pretty nice. The negatives: I got moved from my room on the first floor at 10:30pm as it was so cold in there, the patio type door was not closing properly and the wind was howling in around my feet. The beds here are so bad, you know the springy types that stick in your back? Anyway reception moved me straight away to the 4th floor, much warmer and less noisy, sadly the bed was pretty much the same. Rooms were small but as expected, breakfast was average but typical of this kind of arrangement. my sink got blocked on floor 4 and there was a big hole in my tiny bath towel. Tips: do not stay on the first floor it's soooo noisy there from the road! Hotel: the water and the toiletries are a nice touch but shouldn't you be doing more in regards to single use plastics? Simply recycling is not enough. It's not necessary !

"Noisy"
Sinead S, 15 Novembre 2019

We were woken up at 6.30 am by kitchen staff clattering past the room speaking loudly to each other. Not a pleasant stay whatsoever. What was meant to be a relaxing trip away ended up being one where we were rudely awoken at stupid o clock by staff laughing and talking outside our room and clattering crockery. There was also black mould in our shower and the room was pretty dated, the towels smelt really strongly of bleach so I wish we had brought our own. For the amount paid and compared to a previous best western hotel we stayed in which was beautiful this one was very disappointing and we would not stay there again especially because we felt like we were dumped in a room which was on the main route for all staff and guests to the kitchen and dining area none of whom had any respect that they were walking past a room and were talking loudly from 6.30 am. We have had much better stays in budget hotels.

I have been coming to this for about 6 -7 years and it has improved over that time. It is handy for Victoria Train & Coach Stations. It is on the borders of Victoria and Pimlico, and there are shops, and cafes in the area. It is also in walking distance of Buckingham Palace,Westminster, etc.

"Good for a short stay"
wickedbird88, 12 Novembre 2019

Make sure you have a map if arriving on foot. There are 4 steps at the entrance. Have only stayed in a main road facing room which can be a little noisy on a weekday morning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and heated by an electric wall mounted heater. Heat to your own choice.

"Nothing special though staff were friendly "
R_and_K_G, 31 Octobre 2019

I stayed 1 night on business. Room very small though bizarrely had a very high ceiling! I couldn't even use the folding case rack properly as no space. The en suite was small too. No air con so would be warm in summer. My room faced the road though it wasn't too noisy. Breakfast reasonable. At about £175 for the night it was over priced. It is handy for Pimlico tube station. The staff were nice. Wouldn't rush back.

"Comfortable and quiet hotel"
Sheila B, 24 Octobre 2019

Good location, easy walking distance to the tube. Rooms although on the small side were clean and functional. The bed was comfortable and all basic amenities were catered for. Very quiet at night, we didn't hear a thing either from outside or from within the hotel. We were on a room only basis so can't comment on the quality of the breakfast. Reasonably priced for a decent hotel in London, we would be happy to stay there again when next in London.

"Corona Hotel"
alexsZ7999OW, 16 Octobre 2019

TV did not work properly, Even the hotel technician could not fix it. Toilet seating space is extremely small and sink could only fit one hand in. Noise coming thru upstairs as people moving around late at night. No compensation was offered for the dissatisfaction, since the hotel was booked thru Agoda. I sent an email to Corona Hotel manager but no response so far.

"Decent hotel for 1 night for 1 slim person"
yurillm, 10 Octobre 2019

Prior to choosing this hotel a traveler should know certain things to make his deliberate choice. The hotel is one of a number of "micro hotels" located on the same street. The rooms are so small that a person with the XXL clothes size and bigger may experience certain discomfort trying to fit into a space while using a wash-basin or a toilet. The bed occupies almost all the floor, so 2 people should yield each other while moving in the room. Wi-Fi does not work in the room, only in the reception area. No fitness room. The only advantages of the hotel are its location (10 minutes walk from Victoria station) and a very friendly personnel. The breakfast in the hotel is pretty good.

"Pretty poor I must say. "
lisasH3019HV, 08 Octobre 2019

Well there is nothing really to say, drab, nothing special whatsoever. At £129 a night a little box room with a bed and nothing much else. Clean enough which is why I added a star but when I got up in the morning there was an old thing small tattered towel not even bath size. Can not believe it was given to guests all ripped. Photo attached. Never ever had that at any hotel before.

"Perfect budget and area"
nicam1966, 05 Octobre 2019

Had an 8 day stay here and found it was everything promised. These are not huge rooms but are clean, well serviced and with great friendly front desk staff. The budget is good for this style of room in this area.

"London visit"
roymuckler, 18 Septembre 2019

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. The rooms were the smallest I've ever stayed in, but I hear this is common for London. There option for a room upgrade was not available due to the hotel being fully booked, or so I was told. The rooms are quite dated, but overall, clean and cozy. For 2 people to share the room with suitcases spending a month on the road, it was hard to move. Overall, the location was perfect! If you are there for attractions, a perfect spot and great price point! The room is fine if it is used only for sleep.

"Room with a view"
DONNAC352, 06 Septembre 2019

We have stayed at numerous bed and breakfast places in various parts of London. I often stay at BW in the states. This was our first stay at a BW in England. I would definitely stay here again. It was convenient. Closer to Pimlico underground station than Victoria but no problem getting quick taxi to Victoria when heading to Heathrow with heavy luggage. Happy to have room on 4th floor and elevator to use with the luggage. The room/bathroom was clean. Average size for London. Room had fan which was good since weather was hot. Breakfast was not included but discounted if purchased ahead. Standard selection with cooked options. Overall very happy with stay.

"Return stay"
michaelgP219MB, 24 Août 2019

Comfortable and clean rooms. Ours was a bit small but more than adequate for a 3 night stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast now includes a cooked option as well as continental. Handily placed for access to London attractions, 5 mins walk from Pimlico tube station. Lots of restaurants in the area.

"easy access to London via Pimlico underground"
jpurki219537, 14 Août 2019

Great location for ease of getting into London via the undergrounds, its literally 2 stops. Get yourself an Oyster card, cheaper travel. Pimlico is lovely place. Staff were fantastic, good accommodation if you only plan to sleep and shower there.

"It is this one if you would like a hotel which is wonderful"
davidX2251SR, 10 Août 2019

The house of the hotel is very wonderful with it's own style. I was there for the first night in London and it was just like that he was telling me a story: “Here you are.” The employees who worked at the counter at 7th August, 2019 were just so nice and friendly. I wish I won't forget them.

"Perfectly adequate if you have something to do in town"
FabulousFidel, 09 Août 2019

Had to fly in from the states for a meeting. Hotel is nicely positioned for Victoria Stations and The US embassy. Comfortable room, but this as I am sure all the other converted victorian villas on the street, nothing special. Nothing wrong at all but its in the utilitarian part of the hotel offering. What you want ands what you get is a small comfortable room with a clean relaxing bed. If its a bed you want for the night this hotel delivers. It was a huge help this hotel is available on Amex points.

"GOOD HOTEL TO STAY"
roh49, 08 Août 2019

I visited London and stayed at BW Corona. I choose it for its location. It is 5 or 6 blocks from Victoria Station , one of the biggest one in London and two block from Pimlico station. It is exclusive area near to Buckinham Palace. You have restaurants, pubs, drugstores, book shops ,mini markets , full of people. Most of the hotels at Belgrave Road are old victorian houses and have been refurbished which I think it is a fantastic idea. At BW Corona there is no luxury however it is perfect to go to sleep and take a bath. You are close to all the main attractions using the Tube. I used to go back at midnight and it was very safe then. London will leave you exhausted and you can recover energies at BW Corona.

"Westminster precinct"
fyork232075, 05 Août 2019

Perfectly located if you want to walk to Westminster and all the central attractions. Also close to Pimlico Ststions and Victoria Ststions. Our room was at the front of the hotel, and the exterior hotel floodlighting resulted in our room being filled with light all night long, making sleep difficult. Ask for a back room. The bathroom was about the size of a broom closet and that made life a little difficult as you can imagine. The room was so small that the bathroom door would not open all the way as it hit the wash basin. I think this hotel was expensive too, but if location is the key priority for you, and you dont mind being a little cramped, this hotel would be fine for one or two nights.

"Nice Hotel in a good area"
IAN B, 24 Juillet 2019

Stayed one night on business. Quiet road so a good nights sleep. Room was small but clean and comfy bed. Small bathroom too. Buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and location was perfect for me. Would stay again.

"concert stay"
mkemp12, 18 Juillet 2019

close to public transport. staff very friendly and helpful.room comfortable and clean. very enjoyable overnight stay. would recommend this hotel to anyone needing excellent value for money. will come back again

"Nice Hotel in Quiet Pimlico"
Philip724, 18 Juillet 2019

We stayed at the BW Corona for three nights and were pleased with our stay. The hotel has an excellent location in Pimlico. The underground station is a two minute walk and is connected to the Victoria Line in Zone One. The sizes of the rooms are typical to London but comfortable. We were able to get breakfast at the hotel for £9.95 (provided that we made reservations by the night before). The staff was also excellent as they were very eager to answer any questions that we may have. We would highly recommend this place.

"Wonderful Experience - 5 stars!"
OnAir42013922160, 04 Juillet 2019

This hotel ticks all the right boxes - professional, warm staff, comfortable beds (and pillows), amazing location, great breakfast and completely affordable. I stay frequently in hotels all over the world and this hotel met all of the needs we had during our brief stay in London city. We will return, and from what I heard from other patrons in the hotel, it seems that they have many regulars. All staff were well trained and took pride in their work. Nothing was too much hassle and all staff were genuinely willing to answer questions and provide suggestions about London.

"Great location and nice English hotel"
garylJ2752WK, 02 Juillet 2019

Great neighborhood with many restaurants and shops nearby. Close to Victoria Station and tube. Reception was always friendly and extremely helpful Rooms are small, but clean. Bathroom was tiny but served its purpose but most importantly, was very clean. Comes with a fan, (not sure if there is air conditioning) and kettle. Breakfast was a buffet, typical English breakfast.

"Perfect located hotel, great experience!"
Marina B, 25 Juin 2019

Small hotel, small rooms, but very clean. Great and friendly staff. Everything I needed was given to me. I asked for an extra hour to check out and everything went fine. I have purchased a lot of items from Amazon and they were great to receive and stored it for me. Also I had some issues with my air company and they didnt charge my phone call. Thank you Ana and Tamares for the warm welcome in London! I really enjoyed the breakfast and my experience in this hotel. I would definetely stay there again.

"Tiny "
918shawnn, 11 Juin 2019

Cute hotel. Good location. Very nice staff. Tv has channels. Comes with fan & coffee kettle. Very small rooms. No room for suitcases. Super tiny washroom. No space. Dropped things in the toilet by accident. Almost impossible to change in bathroom. Don't bother if your a bigger person. Hair dryer was broken. But they had a loaner for us. The size was the toughest thing.

"Overnight Stay"
ClareandMary, 05 Juin 2019

I would definitely recommend a short stay in this hotel great location. Rooms very clean and area very quiet at night. staff very friendly and weren on hand at all times o offer advice on where to go.

"Good but basic"
AMasters87, 30 Mai 2019

Basic is the best word for this hotel. If you are just looking for a clean room with small shower and close to transit, which is exactly what we wanted. Main negatives was the noise as our room was right next to the hotels public restrooms, so we heard everything, along with the people traffic heading downstairs for breakfast. There are several really good local pubs and cafes nearby.

"Lovely place "
Melarina82, 29 Mai 2019

Stayed for 1 night in the lower rooms which I guess is where the family rooms are . The room was more spacious than I thought it would be and the beds were made and we had bottled water and biscuits which we really appreciated after a long day . The staff on the desk were friendly and polite and we felt very welcome . The room we were in was next to the breakfast room but it was not noisy at all and my son was able to sleep until 6:45 . The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the carpet could do with cleaning from a lot of wear and tear . But this place is lovely great staff and close to the tube or a short walk from Victoria. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

"i stayed in the room 204 since may 13 till may 16 th 2019"
David Guillermo B, 22 Mai 2019

the maid took from our room 204, 3 female watches ,valuation 150 pounds and one nes female green shirt bought in Zara London valuation 40 pounds. I expect a compensation because of the wrong attitude of the maid

"Really poor hotel, not 3 star!"
CambridgeMrsR, 13 Mai 2019

I stayed at this hotel on a weekday evening in May for one night. The reception is cramped, check in process was easy and the staff are friendly. I arrived at 8:30pm and was hoping to go to the hotel bar for some food or get room service..... this hotel has neither! The room service you can order is an equivalent to deliveroo service. There are apparently sandwiches in the fridge downstairs you can purchase but the only food in the fridge whilst I was there were chocolate bars. As well as no bar, the hotel has no gym and most of the tv channels on don't work - I was so glad to only be staying here for a night!!! My room was incredibly cramped, with an even smaller bathroom. The tv was wall mounted but far too high on the wall to comfortably watch. The shower door had fallen off its runner so the bathroom got very wet whilst using. The bedroom looked over Belgrave Road and due to the poor windows and balcony door was very noisy. I had to sleep in earplugs - noisy road and the walls are paper thin so I could hear my neighbour was snoring! The only good thing about this hotel is the location, it's very close to Pimlico tube station.

"Leisure break"
rachlou74, 12 Mai 2019

Lovely hotel the rooms are basic but clean which is all you need. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Close to pimlico station also in walking distance from Victoria station. Would definitely stay here again.

"Adequate for a one night stay"
mikeshuff, 09 Mai 2019

Booked a single room to keep close to budget and be close as possible to Westminster and tube station that would get me there easily. Friendly reception, room was as small as I anticipated , single bed down one wall , about 30 inches from edge of bed to wardrobe on the other wall, door to bathroom open about 75% of way before it hit the loo. However bed comfy, room clean, bathroom spotless with rainfall shower. So as I had no intention of spending much time in the room other than sleeping & showering , it ticked all boxes. 3 mins walk from Plimico Tube station , quiet enough at night for a good nights sleep. I would happily use again for 1 or maybe 2 nights, the the price and location that comes with a single room here.

"Best hotel in London by far"
Jim H, 05 Mai 2019

My best friend and I had the good fortune to book this hotel for a five night stay last week and my how pleased were we .staff absolutely fantastic nothing was a problem to them very pleasent and helpful especially Betsi all staff are a credit to the hotel .Breakfast was plentyful fresh and cooked well .the room we stayed in on the ground floor was very clean and comfortable and was cleaned and replenished everyday with new toiletries .my friend and I have been coming to London for 20 years and have stayed in many hotels but this hotel is the best by far .will definitely book this hotel for next year's trip

"Comfortable stay with great staff"
HannahS1644, 01 Mai 2019

Stayed here in a family room on the Saturday night before the London Marathon. The reception team were friendly on arrival and our room was great. Lovely and spacious, considering it being Central London. The location was fantastic, we arrived in Kings Cross and it was very straight forward on the Victoria line with no changes to get to the hotel. The hotel is only a five minute walk to Pimlico tube station that's only a couple of stops away from Green Park where you can change to many other lines depending on where you want to get to in London. The bed was so comfy and I had a great nights sleep meaning I was lovely and rested before the marathon. Although I left before breakfast, the rest of my family said it was great. After check out we were able to leave our bags safely and collect them later in the day so didn't have to worry about carrying them around. The staff here are great, was made to feel so welcome and I would definitely recommend. The hotel was comfortable, the staff lovely and a great location means I wouldn't hesitate booking again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

"Reservation cancelled "
sorinap76, 24 Avril 2019

I booked this hotel several months before my Easter trip to London. Two days before my arriving I receveid an email to update the credit card because it isn't valid. My card was valid , but I updated to another card, that was valid too. After 2 hours I received an email informing me that the reservation was cancelled because the credit card was not valid. I called the hotel on the phone and asked for explanation. Their response was that the system do the cancellation, the room is already occupied and they are sorry. I ask them the proof of the fact that my card is not valid. They said that they couldn't give me anything. Thank you very much ,Best Western Corona! I will not stop here with my complaining!

"Comfortable and well situated for Pimlico and Victoria "
familymoran, 15 Avril 2019

The 4 star AA rating is presumably for location. The room (double) was small and unimpressive with the en-suite door about 2 feet from the side of the bed so no chance of privacy. The en-suite was tiny which is fine if you like to wash and brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet. There was no working extractor fan and the pedal bin was broken. The quality of the breakfast did not live up to expectations. There was a good range of options including cheese and cold meats and we appreciated the option to order vegetarian sausages which arrived quickly. The ingredients were clearly at the cheap end and tasted it eg the cornflakes and baked beans. That said, the room was clean, we slept well and had enough to eat which was all that was needed for our two days in London. If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep rather than the hotel being the treat this would be fine.

"Great London stopover"
david_masson, 19 Mars 2019

Very pleasant short stay at this hotel. Good location near underground and perfect for exploring Pimlico and Westminster. Hotel room was better than i expected for the location and was 100% spotlessly clean.

"Lone Traveller"
LoneTraveller1244, 18 Mars 2019

The room I was in was very snug but clean and had everything I needed. Staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel is situated in a very central area so good for sight seeing. Street of hotel was very nice too. Unfortunately I had a road facing room and while I appreciate London can be a busy place feeling as if I was sitting kerb side all night isn't acceptable. Very ill fitting doors/window with no double glazing meant a really noisy and horrendous nights sleep as well as a bit crafty though there was a heater. If you do stay here ask for a room at the back anything is better than what I had to listen to all night

"Best Hotel for solo travellers"
SaadA2213, 16 Mars 2019

I had an excellent time with these guys. They are helpful and clean plus they have a delicious breakfast. The staff is top tiered and very nice. The internet is good but has some weak areas of coverage

"Not Worth It!"
JewelDestinations, 27 Février 2019

It's a fairly small sketchy hotel, we were surprised that it was owned by Best Western! The room came to about $275 CDN for one night, and thank god it was just for the night, or else we would switch hotels, immediately. We got there around 1:30pm when check in was at 3. We asked if we could get our room early, and they said we would have to pay a fee. We agreed and gave them our credit card and then they said they actually had no rooms ready. Then they asked us if we wanted a room in the basement and we said we rather not and that we would just wait until 3. Then receptionist changed her mind and suddenly that was the only room they had. As soon as we saw the room we were shocked, poor lighting, small room, even smaller bathroom, and worst of all, the window was facing a dumpster. We seen many people taking their smoke breaks there, looking into the room. The whole time we were worried that someone would break in, we did not feel safe keeping our belongings there. The room was on the ground floor and someone could have easily broken the window and gotten in. Thank god it never happened but we still did not feel safe. The only decent thing about this hotel is that is a 30 minute walk to the London Eye, Big Ben, Parliament Hill etc.

"Staff make the hotel"
138chloeh, 18 Février 2019

Me and my boyfriend endured a 2 night stay here the weekend of the 15th February. Upon arrival the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, as we had arrived early they stored our bags until we came back for check in at 2pm. A negative is that the rooms are very small and cramped, we were having to step over our suitcase throughout our whole stay. The bathroom was also very small with doors of the shower that didn't completely close and the shower itself constantly dripped although being off. Despite this, the bed was very comfy and the staff were extremely helpful. On a few occasions we asked for an iron/ ironing board as well as a hairdryer and the staff brought them up to our room without a problem. As well as this we ordered a takeaway to our room as soon as the food had arrived we were informed by reception. Breakfast was mediocre but substantial. Also bottled water was £1.50 per bottle and as there was no other way of providing us with water, we had to buy numerous bottles during our stay which isn't very good. Overall the staff make this hotel, very helpful and lovely apart from one exception. Our stay was very enjoyable, hotel is located very well.

"Great hotel with very few complaints"
BlueMoonDylan, 17 Février 2019

After arriving two hours before my check in (2pm on Friday 15th February) the staff quickly allowed me and my partner to store our belongings in a safe cupboard until we arrive back to check in. The rooms are quite small, and requires us to step over our suitcase a lot to navigate around the room (due to the crampness) however the interior design and sleek bathroom design makes up for the size. The beds are comfy, the TV is great and the staff were all in all very helpful. I have only 3 complaints: 1. Upon checking-in we were made aware of a “night service”, where food and drinks can be ordered and delivered to your room. Little did we know that this is an external company, and not actually situated within the hotel. You're basically ordering food from a takeaway that gets delivered to the hotel, so it's quite expensive 2. Adding onto the point above, we were under the illusion that the night service was offered by the hotel's kitchen. It states within the guest book that a jug of water can be provided, for free, upon request... so thinking the kitchen would be always open (and being very thirsty at mid night) we went to reception to request a jug of water to be told the kitchen is closed and we're going to have to purchase bottles of water. I thought this was a bit misleading as it doesn't tell us this anywhere (in writing) and I don't believe we should have paid for water, at £1.50 a bottle, when the kitchen can provide a litre jug of water for free. 3. The shower doors wouldn't close all the way, so water was forever spraying between the crack of the door; and also the water was constantly dripping from the shower head, despite being completely turned off. Despite the negatives, it was a funky; little hotel where the staff are friendly and the rooms are compact but all you need

"Four stars, yeah right"
duron600, 05 Février 2019

Enormously disappointing. This hotel has made me seriously question the star rating system that booking.com uses. 270 USD per night gets you: no fridge, noisy electrical heating, noise from the breakfast area, the worst breakfast I can remember (was that dishwasher soap in the orange juice or was it perhaps just very old?), your toilet seat placed under the sink in the tiny bathroom, a fixed shower head that requires anyone over 6 ft to crouch. I know that the standard in London is low, but this Best Western sets a new standard in low standards.

"One night stopover - no issues"
bugnerd2014, 22 Janvier 2019

Booked through work as offered best rates for the area at time of booking. Absolutely no issues with reception staff or the room. Perfectly adequate for my needs. Clean, presentable modern room on 4th floor. Shall definitely use again when staying in area on business.

"Short stay"
AshH124, 08 Janvier 2019

Hotel is perfectly located near major attractions and Victoria station. It is an old Victorian building converted into a hotel. Unfortunately the single room I had was way too small. It was little uncomfortable for me to move around, especially if you have a big luggage. I had clean sheets and towels, overall everything looked very clean. Ok for short stay.

"Disgraceful Service"
travelerr545, 29 Décembre 2018

After being caught in the drone inconvenience at Gatwick Airport on December 20th, I was obligated to book a hotel in the wee hours as I awaited my next scheduled flight out. It was dark and pouring with rain upon my arrival to the hotel and although the staff onsite saw me struggling to get my suitcases up the staircase and into the lobby, none came to my assistance. Additionally, I overheard them selecting my room upon my appearance to the desk instead of ahead of my arrival, and proceeded to put me in a closet-sized room with no window, across from the elevator and with noisy guests on either side of the thin walls. Frankly, I found this placement to be discriminatory as my family has stayed at another Best Western in the London area where we were also placed in a poorly located room that the staff chose only after we arrived to the hotel to check-in.

"This is not a 4* hotel!"
iansue86, 22 Décembre 2018

The hotel is not in a bad area for getting around which is what drew us to it, we had a very small room with a double and single bed, our bed was like a brick! We had to take the quilt of the small bed to lie on to try and soften the bed, the shower dropped constantly I informed the reception shortly after arriving nothing happened, it's very hard to sleep when you are sleeping four foot from a shower thats got water falling constantly, the rooms are very compact, the shower cubicle had black mould all round the bottom, the carpet was filthy, we only went to breakfast once as it was poor the hotfood was all dry and shrivelled most people looked and walked away very unappetising! After the second day of dripping water we were told the maintenance guy couldn't get in our room even though we had left the hotel before 10am and the van was at the front door, if they couldn't solve the problem they could have at least offered to move us, this is by no means 4* standard we were very dissapointed and would not stay there again.

"City break"

"Helpful, pleasant staff make this hotel"
Susan W, 12 Décembre 2018

Stayed one night in December. Had a problem with the booking agent - stress, not the hotel. Staff at the Corona were as helpful as they could possibly be and sorted the problem. Room was quiet, comfortable and the heating worked well. Bathroom was a little cosy but everything worked as it should. Hotel is four minute walk from Pimlico tube station and there are bus stops a short few metres away. Overall, a very comfortable and happy stay. Definitely would stay again.

"Firealarm at 06:45, cleaner tried to come in at 0900 - Not happy"
krcb197, 03 Décembre 2018

The basic service of a hotel, before we get started on the facilities or comfort of the pillows is a good nights sleep. I am afraid that was a failure here. Fire Alarm went off at 06:45 then I had just gone back to sleep to catch up before the cleaner was battering on the door at 0900 on a Sunday morning. They knew I was checking out that morning and hadn't yet checked out but couldn't manage to communicate that to the staff. Maybe this was just a bad day maybe it happens regularly, the statistical average of the trip advisor reviews will hopefully answer the question. The room itself was clean and had the basic facilities that would be expected. I would have given it 3 stars if the fire alarm and cleaner hadn't interrupted my sleep.

"Much better than expected"
karenT154, 01 Décembre 2018

Rooms were modern and clean. And had something that's often lacking in hotels which is plug sockets by the bed. My only observations would be that bigger towels would be better and a better lay out of tables in the breakfast room. Other than that it was really good.

"Great Hotel to Visit"
Franco8600, 08 Novembre 2018

The hotel is in such a great area close to the tube and Victoria Station giving easy access to the airport and in 5 mins the Tube to get around London easily! This is my second stay here and the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. This is a must stay if you are visiting this great City!

"Excellent"
208steenn, 03 Novembre 2018

Great location ! Small rooms, small hotel, but clean and New refurbished. Victoria is a great area , close to good restaurants and other attractions . I Will not hesitate to stay there Again on my next visit to London

"Best place to stay in London"
Molly B, 03 Novembre 2018

This was our 2nd time staying at the Corona and it definitely won't be the last. Ana is an amazing reception supervisor, very professional and welcoming. The rooms are small but they are clean and functional and suit our needs. Not experienced breakfast at the hotel so I wouldn't be able to comment on that. It's about 3 minutes from pimlico station which runs on the Victoria line so your only 5 mins from Oxford Circus and Green Park and maybe 8 mins from London St Pancras - being still in zone 1 is really helpful. Great service and in an ideal location - will return

"An excellent place to stay, for the price, in a lively London neighborhood."
Cat L, 26 Octobre 2018

This hotel is very comfortable, and convenient to train stations, pubs, restaurants, and shopping. It is also in a very safe-feeling neighborhood - I did not feel uncomfortable walking alone on the streets at night. The staff is charming and extremely willing to cater to your needs. The staff brought us endless buckets of ice without question (my husband needed to put ice on an injured knee).

"Perfectly located"
485chloel, 19 Octobre 2018

Me and my best friend decided to stay here due to a Best Western staff discount that was available to us, and due to its location to central London. As we were going to the Theatre in the evening for my best friends birthday, I mentioned this when making the booking and on entrance to our room we received a lovely balloon and some chocolates, which were devoured within seconds. The staff were very helpful, especially when we were having issues with our radiator, which was promptly fixed for us. Given the location of this hotel, and the great price we got it at, we are actually planning on returning back here for our next trip up to London.

"Small Room- Excellent Location"
Gary_Childers, 08 Octobre 2018

We were a party of three people and took one of the family rooms and it was quite a squeeze for three adults. Having said that the room was clean and had a small outdoor balcony- we managed. Staff were very helpful and the location was perfect- a short walk to the Pimlico tube station and Victoria was also within walking distance. I felt that this place represented value for money; London is very expensive and if the price was right I would stay there again.

"Great location. "
Robert M, 28 Septembre 2018

Very accommodating staff, early check in was no problem. Very close to underground station and getting to Victoria was one stop away. Breakfast was ample but could be improved. Definitely would return if staying in London. Young male member of staff was working his first shift the day I arrived and he was both helpful and professional, tried hard. A beautiful period building with lots of character.

"Location, Location and it's a BW...."
foundtrips, 28 Septembre 2018

When traveling to a new destination it's comfortable to have a familiar home base. Best Westerns supply that baseline experience. When being asleep is important for 7-8 hours but being awake and exploring for 16-17 is the point for being there, a BW continues to be a well placed bet. Such is the Corona. Comfortably priced. Got 8 hours in before discovering London. European hotel rooms are smaller (reality check). Many do not have AC. This stay was during this past summer, one of the hottest English summers on record. Propped that window open, turned on the fan already in the room and let Central London waft-in while grabbing eight. Folks, location can be a very important amenity. This property has it to the 9's. In & Out rating: 9... Victoria Station ( a train station and central departure point for many excursion coaches) is a wonderful stroll away. Neighborhood rating: 9... smack dab in Pimlico... sort of felt-like the Heights in Brooklyn. Tidy, curvy and uniform with outstanding pubs. Launch-pad rating: 9... spin yourself around and start off in any direction... boom, history.... boom, BBC location... boom, London. If you got on a plane to go to London, to spend a lot of Sterling and then hide from London... the BW Corona is probably not the property for you. Enjoyed it for what it is... predictable shelter in the middle of an amazing destination.

"Business trip"
Carol B, 26 Septembre 2018

My colleague and I stayed at the Corona whilst working at our London office. My room was a reasonable sized family room which was clean, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. Unfortunately my colleague was not so lucky and had to change rooms not once but twice! The breakfast was nice with hot and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful

"Great find near everything"
Catherine D, 07 Septembre 2018

Great staff so helpful stayed 4 nights in a single room on an upper floor highly recommend an upper floor to open the window no air conditioning rooms are small but extremely comfortable and very clean they do provide fans breakfast is expensive. So unless you eat a big breakfast skip it and walk to Victoria Station to eat. Places you can easily walk to include Buckingham Palace Hyde Park Trafalgar Square The tube and Hop on Hop off buses easy 15 minute walk at VictoriaStation My only con is Should offer a light breakfast such as coffee and muffins for a reasonable price and no ice machine. After a warm day in London they will give you ice if they have it but only had it one day out of 4 in the evening. Highly recommend this hotel in a quiet area and safe Loved It

"Decent hotel"
Julia C, 04 Septembre 2018

Stayed here one night with a friend, 2 twin beds. Note this place doesn't have air conditioning, but the wifi works, it was clean and close to everything and service was good. We got it on a discount price online in advance which made it a good deal.

"Charming hotel with friendly, helpful staff"
59nicholasc, 27 Août 2018

This hotel is well situated, a couple of minutes walk from the tube station and shops/ restaurants. I was checked in and out efficiently and my case was carried to my room as there was no lift to that part of the hotel. My room was hot but there was a big fan. My kettle didn't work but was replaced after speaking to reception. The bathroom suite was green but it was clean and the shower water pressure was really good, far better than expected. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection of food. I needed to leave before breakfast began and I was accommodated. I'd definitely stay here again.

"Great location, comfortable bed, had all the amenities"
lilmizsara, 14 Août 2018

Was reading the poor reviews of the place below after I booked and felt a bit wary. But my experience was quite the opposite. Granted I was on the 4th floor and could open my windows and it was raining almost every single day I was in London so it didn't feel warm at all. Yes the curtains/windows are 'old' - not sure how that matters though - cause the buildings all along the street and most of the era are older ones. Anyway, room was cosy and clean, cleaning staff always did a really good job. Bed was comfortable and it had all the amenities I needed. Always had heated water in the shower though my flush was a bit wonky. The location is really nice - quiet, safe street with Sainburys', cafes and good restaurants all within walking distance. Pimlico station is nearby and so is London Victoria (10 minute walk), so very convenient. Breakfast was also good. All in all, given the price and location, I'd definitely stay again.

"Stay away in the summer - No Air Conditioning "
MaltaBound, 08 Août 2018

Oh my gosh, this was nearly the most miserable hotel stay of our lives, and we have visited approx 60 countries, all for pleasure, which equates to lots of hotel stays. The issue is that the room had NO air conditioning. I went to speak with the front desk and was told that they only provide a fan to keep guests cool. And, the fan hardly blew any air. Our room was on the first floor, so we were unable to open the window to let in some fresh air, for safety concerns. It was like a sauna inside and we couldn't take a nap during the day without sweating profusely. In fairness, in the winter this wouldn't be an issue, but now London is in the midst of a heat wave...how can anybody sleep comfortably in the summer without opening a window? I almost rated this hotel a one-Star, But, later I learned that many London hotels have no air conditioning, so if air conditioning is a concern, check on that no matter where you book. And, we received a hassle on getting breakfast included. It's a good thing we confirmed before traveling and I am so glad that we did. Our booking was very specific “breakfast included”. I read a review before traveling about another guest having an issue about the included breakfast. At my cost, I called the London hotel from the USA, and inquired about my included breakfast. I was rudely advised that breakfast was NOT included. I countered that I have a printout of my booking saying that it is, but to no avail. I called the booking agent, who called the hotel, and it was straightened out. In U.S. dollars, the breakfast would have cost us approx. $17.00 (£13) each for a simple breakfast. It was a stressful hassle due to the hotel clerk, but fortunately it got resolved prior to our trip. Finally, we emailed the manager prior to arrival with a question, and he never did answer the message. Note that there are no safes in the room. The good news: - As to the location of the hotel, it is close to two Metro stops, Victoria and Pimlico. - The neighborhood seemed safe to us, and we walked to the Victoria Train Station and the Victoria Coach Station early in the morning with no issues. The surrounding area is nice. No, I would never book here again in the summer.

"Uncomfortable hotel"
Ed C, 23 Juillet 2018

Disappointing place to stay, made worse by being there in the summer. Bed very small (not long enough) making it uncomfortable to sleep in. Bathroom very small and pokey. No air conditioning resulted in the room being like a furnace, especially as on a high floor. Wouldn't stay there again.

"Was nice "
Skk202, 21 Juillet 2018

The staff is great. Give really good to about where to eat and stuff to do. Don't be afraid to ask. It's great to be able to keep the luggage safe before departure. Thank you for that your service. Have a nice day.

"not the Best Hotel"
Vojcu V, 18 Juillet 2018

I stayed at the best western corona hotel for one night and I will never stay there again. A huge plus is the location and that's all. The price is very expensive when it comes to the privileges you don't get. The room was very small and dirty, old windows and no fresh curtains. The bathroom of children's size leaves much to be desired. There were not even extra towels. That day was a problem with the internet and the staff were not interested in solving it, which made it impossible for me to do my job. I personally will not repeat my stay in this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone

"Best location at budget"
Manoj J, 09 Juillet 2018

The hotel is located near Victoria train station which is best suited for connectivity to all across London. The hotel rooms are OK for double occupancy and provides complimentary breakfast. Breakfast options are good. Must recommended for short business trips.

"Location Location"
theduck11Sydenham, 01 Juillet 2018

Nice hotel, great location. The staff were wonderful. We were in room LG3 which is a large family room located on the lower level. It was nice room but the issue was the bathroom. It was very small, so small that you could not sit properly on the toilet. This made no sense as the room was very large and you could have put a dinning room table between the bathroom and the 1st bed. When you walked in to the bathroom there was a small rectangular sink and the toilet right next to it facing towards the sink making it impossible to properly sit on.I'm not sure why they just didn't move the bathroom wall out 2 feet and correct this issue. There no shortage of room to correct this issue.Other than that there was nothing wrong with this hotel, the staff were amazing, the location is perfect, the 24 Pimlico bus runs right outside the door and Victoria Stn. is a 5 min bus ride or a 15 minute walk, Buckingham Palace is a 20 minute. walk and Westminster a 30 minute walk. Would I stay here again. Yes.

"It needs to improve a lot in order to be considered good!"
Thiago2601, 21 Juin 2018

The hotel has a good location, in a short distance walk from the subway (tube) and that is pretty much all that is good about it. The rooms are very small and are not that clean, same for the bathroom and shower. The internet does not work in the room, and don't expect the staff to be willing to help you with this or any other issue. They don't seem to be pleased to be there and will not make you feel welcome. The breakfast is expensive (£12 per person, as in June/2018) and are not worth it at all. Expect something simple, served in the basement.

"Good location "
Lor16, 16 Juin 2018

Great location, within walking distance of Victoria Station. Nice area. Hotel room was small and outdated but comfortable. Reception staff were friendly. However, the shower was leaking and we were met with a wet bathroom floor on arrival. We were told maintenance would call up but nobody came.

"Great Stay Nice Hotel"
James7867, 04 Juin 2018

Very Helpful staff and a extremely clean and well run Hotel, Breakfast was a real surprise Continental and a Full English if you wanted. The location of the hotel is Central good for visiting Westminster and Victoria all within a 10 minute walk, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

"Excellent for groups"
paxt_marie, 31 Mai 2018

A group of 11 of us (2 instructors and 9 students) stayed at the Best Western Corona for 4 nights in May 2018 and I can't recommend it enough. Throughout the entire booking process, the staff were excellent at meeting our needs, always doing so in a timely and friendly manner. This continued during our stay with every member of staff ensuring that we were happy. The rooms were clean and modern, and a decent size compared to others in the same area. The breakfast was also a good spread. The prices are very reasonable for such a central location. We definitely hope to come back! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who is part of a group as the staff are so amenable to your needs.

"London sightseeing"
kimbB3593YY, 23 Mai 2018

Quite well placed hotel for travel being close to Pimlico underground and also not far from Victoria and walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Good clean rooms, good breakfast choice and luggage room so you can leave cases before checking in and when checked out to make the most of both days

"Small but clean and comfortable"
janl881, 20 Mai 2018

When a mistake was made with our booking of two double room the staff worked to correct a mistake providing one double and two singles offering free breakfast to compensate. They tried to be very accommodating. Although the rooms were very small they were clean, nice and comfortable. Breakfast area is handy but was very crowded. The menu contained most items in an English breakfast. The hotel is close to a nice selection of dining options and is just around the corner from the subway system

"Good Hotel"
Juagra, 17 Mai 2018

Hotel is near London landmarks. it's not a big hotel but enough for what you need. Rooms are somewhat small but is good enough to rest. Bathroom area is also small but I think it depends on the type of room because the other room that our kids occupied has a spacious bathroom. Staffs are nice, approachable and helpful from reception, to housekeeping, and breakfast staff. All-in-all it was a good and satisfying stay.

"A disappointing start to our holiday"
smilerviv, 30 Avril 2018

We booked here due to it's proximity to Victoria Railway station. A short walk or shorter taxi journey with luggage. When we arrived in the early evening we were informed that our room was no longer available and we had been given 2 single rooms instead (not next to each other). Apparently there were no other rooms. The rooms were clean but this was not how we envisaged beginning a romantic holiday to celebrate many years together. After much discussion we were offered free breakfast (which we did not need) or a small discount which we accepted. The hotel itself was adequate and the staff were polite. Our complaint (because maintenance issues do occur ) was that they had not contacted us to let us know and to allow us to make an informed decision about what we would do as an alternative. Communication is key.

"Tiny room, great service "
Melanie P, 29 Avril 2018

Have stayed a few tines here on business now. Usually the only rooms in our budget are the singles. These are small and basic, but fine for one night. Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming, even remembering that I had stayed before. Best service though is from the ladies in the breakfast room. Quick and pleasant service, always smiling. Great start to the day.

"Great break.manager Ishan karu"

"Small but perfectly formed"
Kitweasel, 23 Avril 2018

One night stay in April with work and what a lovely little hotel it is. Whilst appreciating for the cost you will not get a big room and even though I literally could not swing a cat in my single room it was clean and warming, Lovely comfortable bed, clean bathroom with lovely shower and in a great location on Belgrave Road. Lovely friendly reception and breakfast staff always smiling and willing to help a hand with tourists not used to the area. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it if wanted and the hospitality was brilliant. If you want t cheaper London city centre hotel that is affordable this is the one. Whilst its not luxurious and is very basic its clean and friendly basic which suits me.

"Great value, great staff"
judgej8, 18 Avril 2018

I stay here regularly for business as the location is great for eating out, staff are very welcoming and always remember you. The rooms whilst small they are very clean and yes outside can be noisy in the front rooms but not always and as hotel manager has said, it's not something they can control and it is a busy city. Breakfast is basic but more than ample and always fresh. I've stayed in lots of hotels in London and for the price and location of this 3 star hotel, you do get good value

"Great service in a convenient and quiet location"
821helmutk, 16 Avril 2018

The best 3*** experience one can have in London at a reasonable price! Avni at the reception and the other staff members were always friendly and offering help. We have had several hotels in London and will make this one our regular place to stay at.

"Horrible"
lulasal, 15 Avril 2018

It was the worst hotel I've been in a long time. Shower did not drain the water, the room was really small, horrible WiFi, terrible breakfast and the guy on the reception did not help us at all. The girls were nice and helpful, but the guy that received us didn't make us feel welcomed here. Don't waste your money here

"Always friendly staff"
BigBH, 12 Avril 2018

Avni on reception is always very friendly and cannot do enough for you. All the reception staff are very helpful and attentive. The double bedrooms are generally on the small side but adequate for sleeping and resting up after a hard day.. the WiFi is generally very good and responsive.. as the bedrooms I have slept in have been clean and refreshed every day. The rooms at the front are a bit noisy so try to get one at the back. Breakfast is adequate but more fresh fruit would be appreciated. I have stayed here three times in the last month on business and find it exceptional value for money.

"Corona Experience"
redcrossrose, 03 Avril 2018

In a quiet residential area a short walk from the Pimlico tube station. Away from the bustle of busy London streets it is a very pleasant Hotel with excellent staff. An excellent buffet breakfast and I recommend the scrambled egg - light and fluffy - the best any Hotel chain has ever served us over many years.

"Great location and good value for money"
Kate S, 03 Avril 2018

I have stayed here a few times when on business in London, and it is now always my first choice. The first time I stayed here, I needed accommodation for a last minute trip to London, and this was one of the few hotels within my company's travel budget and in a reasonably central location. The service was great, with very friendly reception staff, and the location is very handy, just by Pimlico tube station and a short walk to Westminster. The rooms are fairly small, but well-kept and comfortable, and enough to guarantee my return.

"Hotel Corona- The Crown of London"
markeB1259KD, 28 Mars 2018

Great experience in this centrally located hotel. There are single rooms so you don't need to get lost in a double room if your travelling on your own, family rooms are also available. Clean hotel and well presented staff and good for local attractions and transport links. Staff at the breakfast even remembered that I liked brown bread, so really made me feel welcome and at ease. Overall good value for money and I'll definitely be back!

"good location but noisy and average breakfast"
bombus2017, 24 Mars 2018

Spent two nights in march 18. First night and they started to dig the road up outside at 1030pm, when I wanted to go to bed; second night, a car alarm (?) went off in the night. Windows on the front had no sound insulation at all. Room very small. Breakfast very average indeed - restricted choice and not hugely appetising. On the positive side, staff were very friendly and helpful. Ive stayed here before and had one of the rooms at the back of the hotel - where it was quiet and the room larger. Perhaps try to get one of those and skip breakfast?

"A good location hotel"
Vivien S, 23 Mars 2018

Very friendly staff welcomed us for our stay. Avni and Ana were very helpful and kind. Ten mins walk to go to London Victoria station which is full of shops and locations to eat.Our room was clean with gd wifi and coffee facilities. Breakfast was very good.I would recommend this hotel to other clients cause we had a very comfortable and lovely stay. I would surely come again!

"Brilliant stay"
Neil D, 21 Mars 2018

The hotel was a great location for us, it was very clean and smart, the breakfast was good, but a little lacking in fresh fruit and breads, all the breads were the cheapest types you can find, but never the less still a good stay, the staff were excellent, especially Avni on reception, he had nearly completed a 48 shift, and you could see he was exhausted, but he still managed to make sure we were happy with our stay, commitment through out, excellent.

"Fantastic staff!"
_angefitz_af, 21 Mars 2018

We stayed on the 8th March to attend an awards party. We decided to walk to the hotel from the station as it wasn't very far at all. Ana on reception was very welcoming (thank you for the nail polish remover!) Bedrooms were basic but clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. The general manager - Anvi was very friendly and helpful too! We will definitely be back!

"Comfortable and clean "
a-cannon-noren, 19 Mars 2018

Stayed here for one night. Close to Victoria so easy to get to and easy to get around London. Room clean and comfortable, pleasant reception staff and enjoyable breakfast. Would recommend to others if visiting London.

"Impressed"
meritapaparisto, 11 Mars 2018

I had to stay one night at London on Jan 28, 2018 at Best Western Hotel ( Corona Hotel) at Belgrave Road. The hotel is very close to Victoria Station which means that is easy to get there from any of the London airport. The rooms were small but very clean and cozy. The breakfast was good. The service was wonderful, especially the guy at the reception. His name was Avni. He was very kind and professional, always ready to help when it was needed. It was mostly because the service of him that I booked this hotel again when I come back at London on Feb. 02, 2018.

"Buena atención y bien localizado"
Manuel Antonio B, 28 Février 2018

It´s a comfortable and nice hotel, well located, close to victoria station (train and underground), the staff very friendly especially Mr. Avni. My wife and me are delighted with the experience in this hotel.

"Nice area - traditional London style"
BCG84, 28 Février 2018

Hotel just a few minutes walking from underground, nice hotel, small rooms. Breakfast was not the best, quality of the food was terrible ( low budget food / tasteless ) unless you dont have high standards of food quality - then it shall be OK.

"clean and comfortable"
berlinaidan, 27 Février 2018

this is a mid-price hotel near Victoria station, but was surprisingly good - exceptionally clean and well kept. The location was very convenient, and the view from our 4th floor room was terrific - the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, wWestminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, etc. - many important tourist sights! The room was a bit small, but the bed was very comfortable; the shower-room was tiny but well-equipped, and the general facilities were good. Breakfast was great, with a quite a wide choice on offer, and the full-English was good and freshly prepared. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay there again - which we have never said about any other hotel in this price range!

"Convenient location and well appointed London (Victoria/Westminster) hotel"
Jeffrey L, 21 Février 2018

No, it's not the Hilton but..... this is a centrally located hotel that is very well appointed and is well placed in the budget/mid range. It is within easy walking distance of all Westminster area attractions and businesses. My room was if anything quite small but very well appointed to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Great rainfall shower in well appointed bathroom. Large flat screen TV and very comfortable bed. Tea, coffee and complimentary buiscuits replaced daily. Full English breakfast was very nice and a bonus in this price range as ‘continental' only is more usual. Staff were very friendly and professional. All in all a very nice place to base yourself for a few days business or pleasure and very good value. I have already booked this hotel when I return to London for another business trip next week - I guess that says it all.

"Excellent value for money"
David A, 20 Février 2018

Stayed here for a work trip overnight, very conveniently located near Pimlico station. Basic but clean and well equipped rooms, friendly staff and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend

"Great hotel "
Nicola H, 13 Février 2018

Stayed here a few times with work overnight. It's a 10 min walk from London Victoria and close to lots of bars and restaurants so perfect location. Hotel is clean and if you get a family room quite spacious. I like the bottle of water and shower gel plus hot drinks with a kettle and biscuits on offer. Breakfast is fine and staff are always very friendly and efficient so definitely would recommend for a short stay.

"Great"
tikalsk, 13 Février 2018

Staff really helpful and kind, the room was great with a double bed + a single bed in a “almost-separate room”, very clean. Loved the stay, as it is close to Pimlico Station a a short walk away from Victoria Station too. Would book again with no doubt!

"Corona"
Joanna S, 12 Février 2018

Staff great very helpful close to Pimlico underground breakfast needs improving. Rooms not huge but perfectly adequate. Bed comfortable. Laundry used uses strong chemical cleaning products that permeate the linen, needs looking into.

"Amazing value for money"
Matt B, 11 Février 2018

Lovely room, lovely staff. Fantastic breakfast. Only issue was the fact that the shower room is tiny, and being a man who is more rugby player than twiglet, sitting on the toilet was convenient as I could wash my face in the sink and poo simultaneously... All in all great value for money.

"3 Day London Experience"
Tjibbe H, 26 Janvier 2018

We had a good time there, Great friendly staff and nice rooms with a nice price ( also check the BW site for the best price). The breakfast was good with enough choices. Rooms cleaned every day so after a hard day walking London it was nice to come in to the room again and fall on the comfortable bed! Victoria station and underground is not that far from the hotel. We recommend it to others, when we come to London we try to book in Corona again. Head off for you ALL staff members!

"Home away from Home"
geniem2018, 06 Janvier 2018

I am a returning client. I am happy with my first stay so when I returned I used the same hotel. I am surprised that Mr. Avni is still there and he is as accommodating and welcoming as he used to be. When you are travelling away from home it is nice to know that your accommodation needs and questions about the hotel and the place you are visiting are welcomed and addressed in a very warm manner & makes you feel home in your own apartment. That is my experience with Mr. Avni. He have been helpful in making sure that I am accommodated in a quiet room which is always a problem when I am travelling to London, and he is went his way to helping me out with my rather heavy suitcase which is completely appreciated. In the morning it helps that Mr. Avni is warm enough to greet not just me but the people around warmly and with sense of humor enough to kick the grey weather and lift our moods at the start of the day. So overall it was a very nice stay. Definitely coming back soon with my friends this time.

"Typical 3 star"
Dave186305, 30 Décembre 2017

Friendly professional staff. Room was to the front. External noise was a problem until about 2am. Very small room and cramped, ok for one person but not for two. Walls were thin so you can hear others. Bed was small and you felt every movement. Sleep was difficult. Bathroom small and sink partially blocked. Breakfast was ok and varied for star rating. Overall the experience was disappointing, probably won't stay there again.

"Warm and comfortable."
Martin W, 26 Décembre 2017

After a day out on the cold and suffering from a heavy cold, it was a pleasure to arrive here with a warming welcome and a very snug, warm room. The single bed was very comfortable and I got a good night's sleep as the room was to the rear of the hotel, so no external noise. Bathroom was quite small with a compact shower and small washbasin. Toiletries and towels supplied. The breakfast has improved since my last visit with more hot items on offer and a good continental selection. The hotel is in a good location for Victoria, with Pimlico Underground being a short walk away. The staff here are welcoming and friendly and with good value rates in winter this is a hotel worth returning to.

"Holiday break"

"Super friendly staff"
Keith N, 18 Décembre 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The front desk staff and breakfast servers were so friendly and helpful. Our room for 3 was a little small but well kept, clean and quiet. The location is great, not much traffic noise, and close to Pimlico and Victoria tube stations. The breakfast buffer was very good with cooked and continental breakfast items. If the room for 3 was not as compact, we would rate this 5 stars.

"great location"
husj2017, 08 Décembre 2017

The hotel is 5min walking distance to Victoria Station and is conveniently located in between Victoria underground station and Pimlico underground station. Belgrave Road is a lively road with lots of small hotels, a couple of restaurants, convenience stores, government offices and a school... its very quiet in the night. Its a safe neighbourhood and you can walk in the night to the shopping centre over Victoria Station. The staff are very friendly, helpful and focus on customer needs. Easy check in and check out. The receptionist helps you carry your luggage to the room; Hotel has elevator. Hotel appears recently renovated. Wifi is available throughout the hotel. There is a PC in the lobby. Breakfast buffet is excellent; loved the vegetarian sausages! lots to eat..the usual...scrambled, fried eggs, fruit, juice, cereal, coffee etc. The room is pleasantly done and is very clean. There is an extra wall electric heater. TV and wifi in the room are excellent. The staff are organized, quick and communicate well with each other. They will book your taxi and hop on hop off tour bus for you.

"The hotel canceled my reservation"
MartijnVP, 04 Décembre 2017

I had booked the hotel 3 weeks in front of my visit. A week before my trip, the hotel came with a message that they couldn't authorize my credit card, and if I didn't came up with a valid card they would cancel the room. So I gave the details again, called the credit card provider to check my credit card, used another credit card, but the hotel persisted that they couln't authorize the card (while the credit card provider could not see any attempt). I called the hotel to clear the situation, but they were totally not helpfull at all. In fact the man on the phone was quite rude. Because I needed a place to sleep I booked another hotel. And to my big suprise this hotel didn't have any problems with my credit card (not really because I have never had a problem with my card). The only reason I see is that they wanted to cancel the room, because I had booked it at a very good price (for me). The way they treated me I think is scandalous. It took me a lot of time. And although Booking.com asked several times for proof of rejection of the payment, the hotel failed to submit any evidence. Scandalous!!

"Nice hotel - good location, great price"
Alkis_H, 03 Décembre 2017

Hotel is a renovated Victorian building. Small rooms but everything is clean and most of the furnishings are in good shape. Heating is really powerful so we were never cold. Staff were very friendly & were all extremely helpful. It's a short walk (2mins) to Pimlico tube station and close to Victoria station (5mins). Breakfast was ok, you can find better but hard to argue at £9.99/person. Nice visit overall

"Lovely Hotel"
SJB142, 03 Décembre 2017

My Daughter & I stayed for one night. The room was compact but had everything you needed for a night stay. Good decor & bathroom. Tea & Coffee facilities in the room. Ana on the reception desk was very friendly & helpful.

"ANOTHER PLEASANT BEST WESTERN HOTEL"
dicrom88, 27 Novembre 2017

We booked the only Family Room in this hotel as we needed twin beds & it was small but comfortable, however, over-priced for what you get. The staff were extremely pleasant & helpful and attentive to your every need which makes a big difference to any hotel stay. Breakfast is greatly over-priced at £12.95 but there are a few local cafes within walking distance. A point of concern is that when booking this hotel the price shown did NOT include the 20% VAT & I'm not sure if this was due to Best Western or OPODO, the site it was booked on. In any event, the final price was a shock & very misleading. The No.24 bus does NOT stop outside the hotel, as some reviewers have said, but is a few minutes walk on either side of the road. This is a great bonus when needing to get to Westminster, Victoria, etc. A big thank you to Reception Staff who made our stay very pleasant.

"Excellent hotel for the price "
jhorihan21, 25 Novembre 2017

It's not the Ritz and it's not the cleanest but it's acceptable . Rooms are tiny . Do not accept the basement rooms next to the kitchen and you'll be ok. Service by Anna at front desk was excellent. Staff is attentive.

"Best Western Corona"
josehineanni, 20 Novembre 2017

I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided t try Best Western Corona. The reviews on-line are really true. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. People seem to really like helping people and making life the best that they can. They listen and give you their best attention. So, try it you'll like it.

"Well located, friendly helpful staff; ok for an overnight stay."
tilottomab, 16 Novembre 2017

One of the many hotels located on Belgrave Road with friendly staff, who are really very helpful. I misplaced my room key about three times in a single day (in my defence, It was a hectic and tiring day, lol) and had to go to the reception for access - and not once did their smiles falter. However, that's where the good stuff ends. The rooms are very small - as are the bathrooms. I knocked my elbows in the shower cubicle several times while bathing and that should tell you how small it is (and I'm a petite person here). Food is very average and the breakfast buffet is adequate. Ok for an overnight stay.

"Mixed opinion "
Graham B, 14 Novembre 2017

Stayed at the Corona mid November, made a mistake in booking a single room, reception area very nice and clean, staff very polite and helpful, room very small as is the bathroom sink, just about big enough to wash your hands however the shower was excellent and roomy. I don't normally like single beds due to be honest I had a great nights sleep in this one. Tea and coffee facilities in the room plus a complimentary bottle of water. Be prepared to listen rather than watch the TV as it's on top of the wardrobe. Breakfast was ok plenty of it but quality not great.

"Theatre break"
Sage_21, 08 Novembre 2017

Let me start this review by acknowledging that we were under no illusion that this would be a 5* establishment however we did expect to be able to relax and sleep after a busy day sightseeing and visiting the theatre. Check in was 2pm. We arrived back at 14:40 to be told our room wasn't ready. As we had reservations for 17:00 we had to leave by 16:30 to get there so this wasn't good enough as it left little time to get ready. After a small grumble with the reception staff, to be told last night was very busy (I would hope so, it's a central London hotel) we were given the keys to a room in the basement. When walking to the room we passed the kitchen, the restaurant and a ton of laundry and cleaning products littering the hallway. Not a good first impression. The room, although slightly dated, was adequate sized and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of space to store things and hang your clothes. The bathroom was tiny - potentially one of the smallest I've ever been in you couldn't use the toilet properly as the sink was so close. There was also no extraction fan so it smelt damp after a while. Amenities included one tea bag each and a 2 pack of biscuits, a pen and two sheets of note paper so no good if you're attending for business purposes. We went to the theatre (which was fantastic) and came back late to get some sleep for our upcoming busy day. Unfortunately that didn't happen. From about 05:30am onwards there was excessive noise coming from the kitchen and restaurant. Banging from what I can only assume was the maids cupboard next door to our room and people talking. This meant we were exhausted the entire day which put a dampener on our sightseeing. In my opinion this room (LG06) is completely unfit for purpose. Even the rooms further round the corridor would have been better than this. As a result this ruined a perfectly good trip to London. I'm sure had we have had a different room this review would be very different. Unfortunately we didn't realise the flaw in this room location until it was to late. We raised these issues with the reception staff upon leaving when we were asked if we'd had a comfortable stay to which they stated they would pass it onto management but no opportunity to actually speak to management. After raising a formal complaint the management of this hotel have denied all knowledge of this conversation, accused us of lying and refused to compensate in anyway at all let alone an apology. The question was asked as to why we hadn't raised the issue with hotel staff sooner; when was this supposed to have occurred seeing as it was 05:30am when the noise started and already too late to rectify the issue? Due to the appalling customer service displayed by this hotel I would not recommend or return to this hotel.

"Great location at a good price."
David C, 06 Novembre 2017

Close to Pimlico tube station this hotel is good value for money. Room was clean although the bathroom was a little on the cramped side. Bed comfortable, but while the room seemed quite isolated from outside noise we could hear people moving about above the room and on a couple of occasions it sounded like somebody was using our bathroom! Breakfast looks good on the advertising but failed to live up to expectations with cooked breakfast laid out and kept warm for a while - not good value overall. Maybe if we had been earlier it would have been better. Only having one knife on the place setting was also curious. We did ask for some more toast which seemed to irritate and it never arrived so we gave up. Good for one night but staying longer in a room that size could irritate. Also get down for breakfast early if you are having it.

"Great London location "

Stayed 2 nights here in a family room , on arrival the reception staff were very friendly and helpful , hotel looked nice , room was quite big for central London , double bed and a single , roomy double shower and very clean and tidy , breakfast was fine , no thrills but plenty to get day started , breakfast room quite small but again wasn't an issue on either day we were there and waitress again very nice and helpful , great location 2 mins from Pimlico tube station , very happy with stay and would use again , ohh wi fi good also , thank you

I stayed here for 3 nights in October. Small but cozy hotel in a quiet aerea. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms and other aereas are clean and inviting. Nice breakfast. Very close to Pimlico and Victoria stations.

"Good value for money"
iritginat, 15 Octobre 2017

Great location The room is very clean, small but enough. the area is quiet and near the hotel there is Victoria station-central station for bus, train and tube. The staff is very polite and kind. Good value for money. Check in 24 hours.

"A pleasant surprise : good value for central London "
Samanthkc, 14 Octobre 2017

Looking for a central London - zone 1 - hotel which doesn't cost the earth is normally a dismal affair with paucity of choice and quality : so it was with interest I booked this rather than others in the same price range . And I am SO glad I did! This is a little gem of a hotel, it's just 5 mins walk from Pimlico tube so in total takes less than 10 mins from Victoria . It's on Belgrave road which is full of houses you would see in period dramas : dramatic , tall white buildings , steps to the front door. Reception is super friendly and informative. Rooms are small but perfectly compact. This is an old building. Rooms are small with incredibly high ceilings and nothing can change that ! The sash windows remind you this is a building that's older than any of its residents' grand parents! But quality in the room is excellent . Soft clean carpet, tea and coffee facilities and water. Comfy bed, luxurious bathroom : marble floor was nice Great WiFi connection too I faced out onto Belgrave Road and yes it's a little noisy : but that's London out there and it's a city which has never slept. Once I tuned the noise out I had a very good nights sleep.

"No safe in room"
Agnes Y, 12 Octobre 2017

The hotel is centrally located - only 10 minutes walk to the Victoria coach station and 5 minutes to Pimlico tube station. Bus stop right across the road, the route 24 can take you to the Trafalgar Square, British Museum. Room was small and the decoration odor was a bit strong so we had to leave the window open for ventilation in daytime. During the nights we had to shut it cause noises like airplanes and road traffic could be heard. Breakfast was free and the staff was polite and nice. However, let me remind you, do not believe that early breakfast could be arranged even if you saw the notice at the reception. We had made it clear to the receptionist one night in advance, she replied she had left a note to inform the next shift colleague handling it, but the next morning we were so disappointed to find that no breakfast had been prepared for us and the staff claimed they had no such service. I literally had to point and show their notice to her so she couldn't argue but it was too late for us. We prefer rooms on higher floor and our request was met. They have a lift so we didn't have trouble carrying luggage, we do appreciate that. However, after we came back for sightseeing on the second night, I found two of my facial masks were missing. I only brought 3 sheets with me so I remembered it clearly. I know I shouldn't have left the suitcase unlocked. The facial masks weren't expensive but I just don't like the idea that others go through my stuff. I reported to the receptionist the next morning and she promised she would look into it. I asked her not to bother, though. We stayed there for 4 nights, overall, we did enjoyed our stay most of the time. Good price.

"Disappointed by price vs quality"
Denisa N, 10 Octobre 2017

Hotel is not child friendly, only steps at the entrance, difficult to acces with a stroller Room quite small, bathroom even smaller Noisy, you can hear everything through the walls and door. Carpet seems dirty, the entire room is not really clean Breakfast is okish ~30min walking distance from buckingham palace

"Nice hotel, nothing flash but nice and comfy"
Kain F, 04 Octobre 2017

Nice hotel located in Westminister approximately 15min walk into town with Pimlico the nearest train station 5-10 min walk. Pro's: - Nice & friendly staff - Comfortable beds (not to firm or soft) - Breakfast good value for money - Good location, although some traffic noise from the semi main road can be heard at night Cons: - No air-conditioning which would be a -major negative in summer - Rooms little cramped - Some of the floors in the hallway are uneven and the lift is very squishy (4 ppl max) which could cause injury - No safes in the room to lock up valuables Overall nice boutique hotel which is decent value for money with friendly staff. We would stay here again in the future. Thank you Best Western for looking after us. Regards Kain

"Price-Location-Quality = good!"
KrissyKaye, 26 Septembre 2017

Hotels in London are crazy expensive. This was a business trip and I wanted something very close to my business meeting. Given the location, I dont think it can get cheaper than this. But the quality of service is good, the staff is friendly, rooms are small - but I didn't need to spend time in there. The breakfast was basic but there was choice. So all in all, price, location, quality is good. I would stay here again- even for pleasure, albeit this area itself is very business oriented.

"Quaint and friendly"
silverrhon, 20 Septembre 2017

Best Western Corona is in a great location. Walking distance to Victoria Station. Family room was small but served it's purpose. Great restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Would definitely stay there again.

"Good hotel!"
polyksena, 18 Septembre 2017

Great location with easy access to the main central attractions (both by bus and tube)! Very nice staff. Family room was spacious and quiet. Great for a short stay. Furniture can be improved as carpets were old and there was no wardrobe (there were drawers though). Overall would recommend!

"Good Location - Clean Rooms - Friendly Staff"
williamrichardh, 17 Septembre 2017

The hotel is centrally located in Westminster, near London attractions and points of interest. The rooms were clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff were continually asking to improve our stay.

"Very basic hotel"
MsfromMississauga, 16 Septembre 2017

Very tiny room in a very basic facility. Disappointing considering the price. Not a bad location but farther from the pimlico tube station than expected. I've been to London. Any times and know that rooms can be small but this was especially so. The furnishings were ok, likely updated recently.

"Cold & noisy room"
MCAPAB, 13 Septembre 2017

Single room over looking busy Belgrave Road equals a cold and noisy room, with no heating control. Not helped by noisy corridor where doors were being banged or next door floorboards creaking. The draught from the unsealed balcony door is unbearable. Terrible nights sleep. Small cramped bathroom, with warm shower. The hotel itself is accessible and within walking distance of decent amenities.

"Very comfortable stay"
alessandrocC524GV, 25 Août 2017

A five-day stay in a quiet area of London. Corona hotel is close to Pimlico underground station and the fundamental bus route n.24. Hotel very clean, excellent and kind service, surprising view of Central London from the back side of the hotel. Very nice experience.

"Small but friendly"
WistowTbone, 24 Août 2017

Good points Clean, good view over london from the high floors at the back Friendly staff Baked beans at breakfast Did the job for a short stay Modern fittings and decor Had a good fan Short walk to Tube Disappointments Small room and bed Small shower No air con Got coffee when I asked for tea

"A personable and friendly hotel"
Andrew_EB2L, 23 Août 2017

I am a regular visitor to the Corona Hotel on business. This hotel is smaller compared to other hotels in London (in terms of number of rooms) but what stands it apart is the customer service in that the the staff are always friendly and helpful (the rooms are comfortable and kept clean.) A special mention to Ana on reception who always knows my name and greets all customers with a friendly smile. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel

"excellent"
Catherine A, 19 Août 2017

Had a wonderful stay. Mariana at the front desk made my stay very lovely. she was also very helpful in giving me information on how to get around London and I thank her for a wonderful job. and the hotel is in a great location so if you ever come to London do stay at best western.

"Visiting the IAAF Woprld Championships."
F3159HFmichaelm, 16 Août 2017

We stayed 5 nights at Best Western Corona while attending the IAAF World Championships. We find this hotel excellent with friendly and helpful staff in all departments. The hotel and rooms are clean and the location is quiet. Breakfast is very good including plenty of English and Continental items. This hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Pimlico Underground Station and so easy to reach any part of the city. It is excellent for visiting the Chelsea Flower Show( 10 - 15 minutes walk}

"Very small room and no air conditioning "
Derek S, 13 Août 2017

We stayed here for one night in August in a double room. It was clean and comfortable but very small. It was a warm weekend but there was no air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortable. There were doors opening onto a small balcony but they were locked. With no other windows in the room the only thing we could do for some air was too climb up on the bed to reach a small window above the balcony doors. The bathroom was so small the door couldn't open fully. It hits the toilet bowl on opening. The shower door was broken and came off its runner. Breakfast is over priced so we ate nearby in a lovely place called Kazan Kitchen. We won't stay here again. It's a good location for what we were doing but very overpriced even for a London hotel.

"Good price, and nice staff"
nudla, 09 Août 2017

Good service. Stayed one day, and we got an hour extra before leaving the hotel, the price was also pretty nice. The reception was very helpful. Lots of information if you're going to go with a tour ect.

"Great time in London"
manjua591, 09 Août 2017

Nice hotel right in the center of Westminister. The Staff is very friendly, The Rooms always cleaned.Breakfast is fine with us. Small rooms but dosent matter since one is out in London sightseeing all day. Had a good time here.

"Very good price/quality hotel"
_Maurizio_Parodi, 30 Juillet 2017

My son and I spent there 5 days, on holiday. We've highly appreciated the reception staff, very friendly & helpful. The hotel is very well located, close to Victoria station and also nearby to bus-stops. The room & bathroom were clean (the bathroom a little small).

"Here Again as Limited Choice but Clean and Comfortable"
CrabberOne, 15 Juillet 2017

This hotel is well situated for central London on Belgrave Road where there are several budget hotels of varying standards. The Corona was selected because I knew what to expect and that is a clean, comfortable hotel is a great location. The welcome and reception were excellent and certainly above average. The room was clean with all of the usual facilities but on the down side it was very small, even cramped. A person of a larger build may even struggle to use the shower room facilities. The room was at the front of the hotel and I did hear another resident complaining about the noise from the busy street but it didn't concern me even though I had the window open due to the closeness of the weather. The double bed was comfy. There was no air conditioning but an electric fan is provided. An iron is available from reception but you would struggle to iron in this room. Breakfast is in the basement but is a very basic and uninspiring affair despite the very best efforts of the excellent staff. When choice (and budget) is limited in London this is an adequate, clean hotel to stay in and certainly one for the budget traveller. For business I prefer something a little better and I do like my breakfasts. A good three but not a four.

"Great Budget Hotel"
Marcus2000, 08 Juillet 2017

stayed here for a weekend in June. hotel was lovely. we chose it based on the price, but it really did the job. we didnt want to spend much on accommodation - and this came up as a decent price. Room was small, but fit for purpose. we slept with the windows open as it was a hot evening, but there was no road noise ( we were facing the road). the bathroom is small, but did the job - good water pressure, and some free toiletries are always great. reception was grand.we checked in a little early. location was great. the area looks pretty fancy to us - and safe..... and the tube station is less than a 5min stroll away. we didnt eat at the hotel, but instead chose a local cafe...about 3mins away...it was grand. would recommend this hotel to anyone on a bit of a budget!! would definitely return.

"Location, location, location"
User, 06 Juillet 2017

This budget hotel is based in a great location right near Pimlico tube station. Within walking distance of the Tate Britain, and Westminister. The room I was allocated was adequate, and very clean with all of the essential facilities. Despite being on the ground floor I found it pretty quiet. The bathroom was tiny but clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room though, with the exception of a fan, which in the 30 degree heat of the capital didn't really offer much coolness. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly and happy to assist you. A continental breakfast was included in the room rate.

"Satisfactory hotel on quiet street"
swj, 29 Juin 2017

The Best Western Corona is located on a quiet, mostly residential street in London. It is about one mile from Parliament and half-a-mile from the Victoria Station. The Pimlico Underground station is a short 5 minute walk from the Hotel. We had a friendly greeting, indeed the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was on the ground floor but did require navigating a couple of steps. It was adequately sized and comfortably, if sparsely furnished. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The carpeting was worn, but clean. The bathroom had modern fixtures. One chronic problem was controlling the temperature of water in the shower. For the first three days we got nothing but cold water. Then after their "boiler man" had been in to fix it, we could get nothing but very hot water on our last night there. Fortunately we could open our windows easily because we were there during a hot spell and the room had no air conditioning. Breakfast was additional cost and we did not try it. The free wifi was slow and of limited use. Overall, except for the hot water issue our stay was satisfactory and I would consider staying there again.

"Simplicity"
STLHerning, 25 Juin 2017

Almost next to Plimlico Underground Station. Friendly and helpfull reception. Peacefull room, nice and clean. Family friendly. Traditional English Breakfast, quality averagely. Interersting neighborhood with small restaurants.

"Very handy for anything in Central London "
travelleryorks, 16 Juin 2017

Have stayed here regularly since 1999. Seems to have changed hands in recent years but a serious amount of investment has been made which was needed and no doubt why prices have risen. Characterful building unlike so many others in London. Breakfast if you want it but plenty of other options in the near vicinity along with good restaurants for lunch & dinner. Rooms are not massive but cosy which you would expect with historic buildings. Pimlico underground and Victoria rail & coach stations in walking distance and the legendary 24 bus whose route includes Victoria, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Whitehall, Horseguards Parade, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Tottenham Court Road/Oxford Street to name but a few. Enjoy.

"Broom Cupboard with a Bed"
Tim N, 14 Juin 2017

Visited for business, nice welcome but this is where the quality stopped. My appointed room was tiny in the basement. The bathroom was poor - no bigger than a wardrobe - toilet was positioned under the sink such that it was impossible to sit normally on it and the seat was stained with years of ingrained use. Shower door off its hinges. Next to a fire door to rear of hotel which guests/staff were using as some sort of smoking area til late at night with commensurate disturbance, further compounded by the constant drone from the hotels aircon units attached to the outside wall at the back of my room. Breakfast was adequate. Only saving grace was outstanding little Italian restaurant up the road called o sole mio!

"For Chelsea Flower Show and London"
MarkCal, 02 Juin 2017

Stayed here for one night to go to the Chelsea Flower Show. Glad we did. 5 minutes walk from Plimlico tube station, restaurants and bars close by. Nice area. Stayed in a single room which was ok, shower door was broke but apart from that all was ok. Receptionists in the evening and in the morning were great, friendly and very helpfull. Would stay here again.

"Too basic for the price"
OlgaKNj, 02 Juin 2017

I get London isn't cheap and I had to book a bit late, so there wasn't much of a choice, but for almost $500 for 3 nights what I got is VERY basic: A tiny room with a twin bed NO A/C -beware! They give you a small portable fan which will do nothing on hot days and trust me, there will be some The window, although nice, did not stay open and I had to prop it up with a book They gave me a complimentary water bottle FIRST NIGHT ONLY. I say, when the room costs this much and has no A/C they need to provide a bottle or 2 a day WIFI is free, thank god They give you shampoo, body wash and soap- no conditioner. Just as an FIY The room was clean, bathroom small but nice, water was not exactly hot There's no safe in the room There is a TV The bed was ok, the pillow are definitely the cheap kind I did not have their breakfast. Go to Warwick Way nearby and you will find a bunch of great breakfast options. For dinner try Warwick pub- I loved their fish and chips and I had never been a fan of that dish before! Anyway, I hope this helps.

"Close to Chelsea Flower Show"
howards244, 26 Mai 2017

Going to Chelsea Flower Show so wanted a hotel within walking distance. This was easy to get to from Victoria coach station, just down the road, 20 minutes at my pace. An easy walk to the flower show either along Warwick Road or The Embankment. The locality has good local pubs for food as well as small restaurants. All round a good location to visit the west of the city. only a couple of hundred yards from Pimlico station. Room we had was big enough for our stay although bed was only a standard double (larger couples note). Place was quiet at night and road seemed fairly quiet during the day. Breakfast was not included but we took it on two days. It was up to the norm for other BW's we had stayed in and was reasonably priced.

"The room is quite small and the draining system does not work"
Cyy C, 25 Mai 2017

The location is good but the room is small. The room is clean but the draining system doesnt work. It drained very very slow. The price is reasonable in London. Next time will be still put in my consideration because all are acceptable but only the draining system is make us feel disappointed.

"Easy to find, nice welcom, good room"
Ray B, 25 Mai 2017

I was looking for a reasonable value room near the place for a conference. Had stayed in this area before but not at this hotel. Hotel really easy to find. Not much exercise from the underground station (Pimlico) to the hotel - I should have taken the longer route !! Reception area really nice, clean and welcoming. Staff very helpful. Room small but everything was there and clean and tidy. Location perfect for a walk at night, felt very safe with lots of choices for restaurants and shops. Could not fault this hotel. I paid extra for breakfast but it was low cost by London standards but good quality and helpful staff. I always like to try different hotels but I will struggle to avoid this in the future as it was such an important part of a good trip.

"Can't fault it"
Kate K, 24 Mai 2017

Went to London for my sister's 'Big' birthday. We stayed at the Corona Best Western and I can not rate it highly enough. We arrived early and the gentleman on the desk was more than helpful. He recommended a place to eat (top notch Turkish food!) and couldn't do enough for us. The room was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and hot and again the staff couldn't do enough for us. I can't fault this hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a weekend in London.

"Great hotel in a good location"
Jane D, 23 Mai 2017

I stayed here on business for one night and it was a perfect place. Very close to the tube station and a vast array of shops and restaurants just around the corner. Check in was quick and friendly and the staff were warm and welcoming. The room was small but adequate for a single traveller. There were tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and adequate space for working. The bed was comfortable and clean and the heat in the room was adequate. The variety at breakfast was good and plentiful. The only "complaint" was that I would have preferred a pot of coffee instead of having to ask for a refill. I would stay here again if presented with the opportunity.

"City break"

Back again to corona hotel.always great.reception all very friendly rooms excellent.cleaned every day high standard .breakfasmmt always . good staff excellent and again very friendly special thanks to manager Keisha and Christina for making our stay great.x florence eric irvine.

"Small and comfortable"
jackireim, 16 Mai 2017

This restaurant has very helpful and kind staff. The rooms are quite small but very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of Victoria station and a number of good restaurants. I was happy with the provided tea, water and biscuits! The downside was that breakfast wasn't that great, but also not terrible. I enjoyed my stay!

"Clean, well appointed hotel"
Jim L, 14 Mai 2017

Very centrally located for Victoria, clean and well appointed room. Nice, compact shower room. Bottled water and biscuits in addition to tea and coffee. Breakfast was good, cooked, continental, meats and cheeses. Good value and very good for a business trip.

"Small, Clean,Location"
EddieA1, 04 Mai 2017

This hotel room is small, only a double size bed with only a small amount of room around the bed, but there are a few drawers and a closet to put away your clothes. The bathroom is also small, with only a shower stall. Now for the good stuff..the staff was great, our room had been completely remodelled,. The location was super, a 15 minute walk to buckingham palace. A 2 minute walk to both above ground and underground transportation. A 11 minute walk to Victoria Mall. Breakfast was offered for a fee....average and acceptable. We didn't spend much time in our room so it was great for our needs. We spent 5 nights. Internet was great. I would stay again.

"Comfortable but small - Very close to Pimlico & Victoria Tube Station"
Pieter G, 03 Mai 2017

Comfortable place to stay but their single rooms are quite small. At walking distance of both Pimlico and Victoria tube station. Lovely area with quite a few good restaurants. My room on the fourth floor was clean but noisy. Single-pane windows and all the noise that comes with it, even on the highest floor I could hear cars, buses and taxis passing all day long.

"Suitable Location But At A Price"
MAH3862, 27 Avril 2017

Positives: Good location for the event my wife was attending; ditto for Victoria & Pimlico tube stations; ditto for helpful local eateries Pleasant and helpful staff generally Recently refurbished, clean, reasonably sized & well-organised bedroom Good television (with radio access) - and it did not default to Channel 1 from your previous choice of station (very good) Breakfast (although at extra cost & not the most extensive of choice) was of a reasonable quality Newspapers provided Negatives: Shower room was very wee (I would have accepted a more compact shower enclosure for somewhere to stand when not in it and for a basin with space to get your hands - or the kettle - under the tap) The basin water would not run to cold (one assumes never quite to straight mains from the blender) Although warned some weeks in advance, there was no dairy-free alternative to milk available for my wife's breakfast (almost everywhere we have been seems to manage this, even at very short notice) The price seemed quite high (but then, it turned out, it was the Marathon weekend!), particularly with an extra £8/head/day for breakfast

"Overpriced for the size of rooms"
Mandy B, 26 Avril 2017

I am sorry to say that the price I paid for one night stay at this hotel was seriously overpriced, for the size. The room was very crowded, I couldn't ever open the bathroom door. The room was overly warm, I couldn't turn off the heater. There was no breakfast service

"Comfortable enough - good base to explore Pimlico"
Rob S, 18 Avril 2017

Pleasant welcome and friendly staff. Hotel is clean and tidy. It's a handy base for Pimlico area and Westminster - even Kensington. For a double our room was quite small - and had an interesting slope to the floor - all standing furniture was leaning over! Poor TV reception until we fixed it ourselves. If you need a B&B that's not going to break the bank then this will do the job

"Home from Home"
mikey26592016, 14 Avril 2017

Stay in this small BW hotel regularly when in London on business. Located close to the Pimlico tube station the hotel is 15mins from Victoria and approximately a 20 minute walk to/from Whitehall. Rooms vary in size but all are comfy and well appointed with modern bathroom facilities. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. There are a wide range of restaurants nearby, indian chinese and italian as well as a few decent pubs that also sell food. Would recommend this hotel

"Ideal overnight stay"
Burtcroghan, 25 Mars 2017

We had traveled down by train for an overnight stay in London, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who quickly organised our rooms. We were located on the fourth floor and took the lift. The single room which I had was small but very clean with Tv, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a rain shower which was quite big with a few toiletries, fluffy towels and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served on the bottom floor, where you press - 1 in the lift to get to the bottom floor. Breakfast room was clean and had fresh fruit salad, ham, cheese, rolls, scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, hard boiled eggs, cereals etc where you help yourself. Plenty off waitresses about to make sure you had all you needed, we were asked if we would like tea or coffee and toast. Staff very pleasant and whilst basic and a very good selection. An ideal hotel for an overnight stay, staff very helpful and friendly. We all enjoyed our stay.

"Great value for money"
IM83, 20 Mars 2017

Stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend city break. The hotel was very reasonably priced compared to many other similar hotels which sold it to us, but we were pleasantly surprised - spotlessly clean, and cleaned each day which was nice to come back to. Complimentary tea/coffee/bottled water in the room a nice touch. We had a triple room for 3 girls and had plenty of space with 2 large mirrors and cupboard space. Bathroom a little on the small side but again spotlessly clean and well equipped with enough towels and toiletries. Excellent location only 5 mins walk from Victoria Station, and 15 from Buckingham Palace. Receptionists were very helpful.

"Comfy nights stay"
Carol K, 20 Mars 2017

Room brilliant, so large and comfy. This hotel is close to the underground station of Pimlico and not far from Victoria station and the Apollo theatre. Staff helpful. I booked for 3 adults and got a massive room for 4 Brilliant

"Friendly, comfortable and safe "
Etten17, 15 Mars 2017

We stayed at this hotel for 3 consecutive weeks while in London for business purposes. One 2 night stay and 2 overnight stays. On each visit we found all the staff to be welcoming and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable with complimentary toiletries/tea/coffee and biscuits +2 bottles of water. The only disappointment was that none of this was replenished for the second night but the staff on reception were more than happy to provide us with additional complimentary items if we asked. We found the pillows uncomfortable but again, when we asked at reception for softer pillows, alternative ones were brought to our rooms. The hotel is situated on a busy road so there is some road noise but if this is a problem for you there are quiet rooms at the back. I would definitely return to this hotel.

"Alright hotel"
swarbrick77, 11 Mars 2017

Stayed here whilst in London on business. Good location within easy reach of central London and plenty of restaurants, pubs, snack bars and shops nearby. Hotel is quite average; small rooms, basic breakfast, nothing special but does the job.

"Great location"
Ruthjdanbury, 28 Novembre 2016

Great location, easy to get into central London by bus, great sightseeing on the way, or tube for a faster journey. Good views of the London eye and bug Ben from the bedrooms at the rear of the hotel. Clean rooms and refitted bathroom. A little on the small side and beds a bit hard for me. We had a problem with the hot water but the staff on Sunday were very professional in their approach to this. We would stay again.

"Small rooms but sufficient for overnight"
David B, 28 Novembre 2016

Stayed here whilst attending an awards dinner with my wife. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy. The double room was quite small but sufficient for an overnight stay. Hanging and storage area as well as a small desk/chair at which to work. Free WiFi, always a bonus. The shower room was small; shower/toilet/sink but again, adequate for an overnight stay. We were at the rear, floor 4, with a great view across London towards the London Eye. Paid parking is available outside and on some side streets.

"Small, dirty and poor service"
SweAndreas013, 25 Novembre 2016

Small room (3 bed family room), almost no storage. Dirty, large staines on the curtain. Poor service, doesn't recognize BW Diamond Select members and their benefits. Location and breakfast is good though. Not going to stay here again.

"great hotel in great location"
marion1426, 03 Novembre 2016

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. Rooms are small but modern and efficiently laid out. Had everything we needed for a week's stay. We appreciated the view of the Eye from our room. The location is great, very close to Pimlico tube station and a short walk to Victoria trains/tube/buses. Thames, Tate and Westminster all within walking distance. Several pubs and coffee shops close by; did not try the hotel's breakfast. We'd stay there again.

"1st trip to London"
amy v, 01 Novembre 2016

My 1st trip to London w/ 2 friends led me to this great hotel. Lobby was very small and the girl at the front desk was not overly friendly, however, the room was great. Very clean and plenty of room. Bathroom was very modern, a bit small but it was fine. Great price, safe neighborhood.....I would definitely go back.

"Prestonman"
Alank S, 25 Octobre 2016

Have stayed here on business a few times in single rooms. The rooms are small but very clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helpful. Situated near Pimlico tube and close to restaurants and shops and only one stop from Victoria. A very decent place to stay.

"Friendly and Helpful Staff, Small Rooms"
Valerie G, 16 Octobre 2016

The proximity of this hotel to train/tube stations is convenient, good eating places nearby, and sightseeing attractions are within walking distance (0.5 to 3 miles away). Our 4th floor room had a great view of the Eye, it was small but clean and recently renovated. Overall, it was quiet on 4th floor, but noise from adjoining occupants or hallway was noticeable at times in room.

"Decent Enough"
Stacey G, 09 Octobre 2016

We booked a girls trip to London for a week. There were 4 of us in 2 different rooms. We stayed on the ground level and found the accommodations to be okay. The rooms were small but workable. The one issue we had was lack of electrical outlets. Halfway through our trip, one whole set of plugs stopped working, which meant some juggling when it came time to charge. There was a hairdryer in the room, which was awesome. No one told us breakfast was extra and not included when we booked our rooms. The hotel did have an iron that they let us use. We didn't spend much time in our room so it was okay, but next time I visit London, I will probably upgrade to a slightly nicer hotel. The location was fabulous, we heard no noise at all when sleeping (with windows open), and the staff was nice. However, there aren't a lot of extras, and the bathroom shower is very, very small, so that's why I would upgrade next time.

"Decent place in London"
Rugby2016, 08 Octobre 2016

Stayed here for 3 nights for work. Staff had cancelled my room by mistake, so not a great start, they recovered a star rating my providing a room. The rooms are nice and clean but small, I had a double which seemed a single, don't expect a bath tub, what you get is half a shower which takes a while for the hot water to appear, the tap to the sink was larger than the sink itself. There is no fridge and no a/c, it did get warm in the night and I was unable to open the window. You can hear the occupiers to the room above walking around on creaking floorboards and also hear the sounds of their flushing water. I was here for 3 nights and the bed sheets were not changed at all, the used towels were changed daily. The breakfast was scrambled eggs (which seemed watered and lacked taste) bacon and beans, cereal, pastry, yogurt and fruit. Staff nice and friendly. This hotel is nice and clean and in great location. I would stay here again but only for the night.

"Worst hotel experience of my life"
hl5it, 07 Octobre 2016

This is a 1 star hotel pretending to be 3 stars. Every year the hotel says that the hotel made a renovation, but this is a lie. The room did not have a safe - and it really needs one. The TV also did not have a remote control. Next, you enter the lift - I have seen suicide attempts that adhere to more health and safety measures. Seriously - take the stairs. It rather optimistically has a four person maximum capacity - God help you if one of your companions happens to be fat... The 'continental' breakfast was cheap packaged bread, cheap salami, and plastic-wrapped cheese. I didn't try it - I value my life. I can only imagine how it tasted... Yes - it is near to the centre of London; but so are so many other reasonable hotels - they can't all be this bad. Seriously, do not do it; there are prisons that are luxurious by Corona Hotel standards.

"Acceptable for Central London at the price"
JandLillyn, 30 Septembre 2016

No bar, but 3 pubs within 5 minute's walk, tow of them excellent for ale lovers. Basic but OK breakfast. Very helpful front desk staff. Avoid room G01 until they have installed a blackout curtain or blind, as an exterior hotel light (orange) shines directly into it. Excellently situated in the quiet area of Pimlico.

"Nice budget hotel"
joguigsy, 29 Septembre 2016

Stayed here for three nights. Requested a quiet room on high floor and although small it was modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Agreed with previous comments that if height of summer lack of air con could be a problem. Staff in particular the evening staff were super friendly. The young lady on reception saved the day when the hairdryer broke and brought a replacement in about two minutes flat! The only negative I would say is forget the bacon, weird scrambled egg and value beans. Just improve the selection at the continental breakfast. Would stay there again though as great location close by to some lovely eateries and pubs.

"Avarage hotel"
RajendraRane, 21 Septembre 2016

This is centrally located . Walking distance from West minster. But small rooms with very poor wifi. Ok for single person occupancy. However being located in London and you are tourist then this is okay as you have tube nearby and many touristic places like London Eye . Book in advance to get better rate. Lot of eating option available in 10 minutes walking . We tried Indian restaurant and found it good.

"Sightseeing in London. A dream realised."
Susan C, 16 Septembre 2016

Fantastic 5 nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was a standard double, it was a small but absolutely great room. Very comfortable, very clean and a lovely view over to the London Eye and Big Ben. It was lovely to come back to after a long day sight seeing. Such pleasant genuine and helpful staff. Situated in a lovely part of London for access to the centre and theatres and the embankment. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace and St James' Park. A wonderful stay.

"DISSAPOINTED"
jasonhanson, 15 Septembre 2016

I was in room 102 which was tiny. No air conditioning and could open the window fully. The bathroom wasn't much bigger than a phone box and the corner sink was so small I could hardly fit both my hands under the tap. Breakfast was no improvement, all that was available at the hot buffet was bacon, scrambled egg and beans. The hotel does not offer any other hot food options at breakfast, probably because they couldn't fit anymore hot plates in the tiny claustrophobic restraint which is located in the basement. Avoid staying here.

"Great staff sabotaged by dated facility"
James P, 11 Septembre 2016

The Corona is billed as a "three star" (from Wikipedia: Properties that deliver a broad range of amenities that exceed above-average accommodation needs. Good quality service, design and physical attributes are typically fit for purpose to match guest expectations). I would say they are knocking at the door of a two-star. The location is excellent: a few minutes walk to either Pimlico or Victoria Station. There are several amenities that are steps away: dry cleaning, convenience stores, restaurants/pubs, groceries. Structurally, the facility is an antique. Floors droop and creak. Conversations in the hallway can be clearly heard in the guest room. Pluming is primitive (2-3 flushes to take care of things) and the shower temperature adjusts itself from scalding to chilling. There is a breakfast offered for £7/person — adequate and convenient. I am certain they do not have facility to cook on premises but, more so to reheat. On offer: some fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, bacon, beans, toast/jam, pastries, coffee/tea. The scrambled eggs are weird. I apologize for not being more eloquent but, I think they are reconstituted from a powder. They are slightly watery with a tinge of a granular texture. So there you have it. Weird scrambled eggs. A signature of the Corona. The staff are very accommodating. The front desk provided an extra fan and extension cord to help to cool the room down. We visited and London was going through a bit of a heat wave. That said, most common areas in the hotel (lobby, corridors etc) were considerably cooler than our room. In the dining area, the buffet items were well-tended and topped up and servers were quick to offer and remember your preferences for coffee or tea and white or brown toast. It's the little things that are impressive. The staff also work hard to keep the hotel very clean. Housekeeping services are reliable and professional. The room is clean and well looked after. There is no fridge or dresser. There is a kettle with a choice of tea and instant coffee in the room. There's also a USB jack in the desk to charge phones. Staff are the only "above average" feature in the hotel.

"Good Hotel"
Linda R, 10 Septembre 2016

Had a lovely stay here, it is basic but all you need is available. Cleanliness is very good but the staff are extemeley friendly and helpful,we could not have picked a nicer group of people, they were like friends.

"Great location, very good service, but not the place to stay during a London heatwave."
ChiCanadian1969, 09 Septembre 2016

We used Aeroplan points to book the room, so it did not cost us any money. Therefore, I can't be too critical. If I were on a strict budget, I think I might actually give this hotel four stars. That said, it is very much a three-star hotel. It's in a great location--between two major tube stops: Victoria and Pimlico. The service is actually quite good. We stayed there during a heat wave and the staff was nice enough to give us extra fans and an extension cord, which we sincerely appreciated. They did try their best, but it was still a hotel without air conditioning during a heatwave, so it turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I have ever had. We were on the third and fourth floors, and it was stifling. The rooms were typical of a three-star hotel: no room fridge; no dresser; no room service, etc. The bed was OK--not especially comfortable but not especially uncomfortable, either. The shower scalded you and froze you by turns. The breakfast was adequate. However, if it had not been included with the room, I would never have paid the £7 for it. I would gladly pay £20-£30 pounds more a night for nicer hotel, so I don't think I would stay here again even if I could use points to pay for the hotel.

"Not greta"
333Maria_S2014, 07 Septembre 2016

Very cramped room. Dark and dingy in basement. Extremely small corner shower and sitting down at the dressing table and opening the drawer with the hairdryer in was a physical impossibility. (To note I am not an unusually large person female size 12!) Very limited breakfast choice also. No plan to return

"clean and cheap"
Jenny B, 02 Septembre 2016

nice little budget hotel, good for what we wanted, walking distance to where we were going, (Rolling Stones Exhibition, and theatres) very quiet area near to Victoria station but did not hear the trains

"Very nice hotel at a great location"
Svetlana K, 31 Août 2016

We (2 adults and an 11-year-old child) stayed at Best Western Corona late August for 7 nights. The location couldn't be better. A 10-minute walk from the Victoria Station. There is a very convenient bus #24 half a block away from the hotel. On the parallel street there is a dozen of different, not expensive nice restaurants. The hotel is on the quiet street. Rooms are on the smallish side, but the three of us did not bump into each other. Bathroom is small, but shower is normal size. Everything is very clean and feels fresh. More than adequate breakfast at convenient time. People are nice and helpful. The only negative thing - no air conditioner. There was an ok fan in the room, but the outside weather was in the 80s, and the room was very warm. Our friends stayed at a hotel across the street, they had the same situation.

"Good value but needs air con."
KentChris, 31 Août 2016

Stayed for two nights in a room facing Belgrave Road. The room was small, but clean and attractive with a comfortable bed, decent shower and good quality TV. Good value for £59/night. Unfortunately the hotel has no air conditioning and the room became stifling by late afternoon. I slept with the window open which helped, but the road is busy, so was happy I'd brought along earplugs. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would stay here again but definitely not during the summer months.

"Late rooms messed up and I was one of the 7 dwarfs "
Law2, 30 Août 2016

Booked my stay with late rooms, they didn't pass on the details which caused about a 20 minute delay, I was already tired and made more grumpy, which I sadly passed on to the staff. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful despite my attitude towards them( I did apologise after a shower) The room was clean and functional, with all you could need for a short stay, ironing board and fan supplied! Tasty biscuits and a kettle, Not eating here so can't help with the food side. I will return, hopefully in better spirit!! Thanks again tolerant staff

"Hottest Day of the Year and No AC"
Barry P, 28 Août 2016

The title says it all. This is a nice hotel, located within a 15 minute walk from Victoria Coach Station & close to the Pimlico tube stop. It has clean, small rooms & friendly, helpful staff. But I cannot recommend this hotel in the summer on the chance a hot day and night may occur. London had a sweltering 93 degrees F. (over 30 degrees C.) and we roasted without AC. Granted it is uncomfortable riding the unairconditioned tube in those circumstances -- but trying to sleep in a hotel room like that? Try it in a different season.

"Great Place for the Price"
jlove397, 18 Août 2016

I was solo female traveler looking for a place to stay the night in London. This hotel was easy to get to from the Tube.It is only 2 blocks away from the Pimlico Station making it easy to get to from the airport and for sight seeing. I was in a single room that was small but provided me everything I needed. I also ordered take-away and the front desk called me when it arrived. Also if you arrive before check-in you can store your luggage with the front desk. I would stay here again.

"Nice Hotel in the Pimlico Area"
PDDunstan, 04 Août 2016

I recently stayed here for 1 night. The Staff are pleasant and friendly. The Hotel was clean. I stayed in a single bed room and it was small, but I was expecting this as we are talking London! The bathroom was also compact, with a good shower. The bed was comfortable. Seeing this is a London hotel, I thought the price was reasonable. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

"Stop over for 1 day"
Caron2406, 30 Juillet 2016

Only ever booked room for early get away to office. This hotel is very well situated for both Victoria Station and Westminster. I havent used the local restaurants nearby but have used Tescos which is a 5mins walk away. I've found the single rooms I have stayed in to be roomy and the beds are comfy. The bathrooms are very clean but compact. I consider it to be reasonably priced and will always check availability when stopping over.

"Not bad"
UkPeteD, 26 Juillet 2016

Stayed here with work as was near a meeting I had the next day, not normally an area I would stay in. The good - minutes from tube - free wifi - very clean - ok room facilities, hairdryer, tea and coffee - plug sockets near bed - room service was a reasonable price Could do better - no air con - badly designed room - TV in awkward position to bed - tiny bathroom - not great value at £117 a night for a 3 star

"Victorian Stay"
CobolAl, 26 Juillet 2016

This place is very nice. The room was spacious for a single guest. It is only 4 blocks from Buckingham Palace and the Theaters. Parking is free on the weekends in front of the hotel. It is also close to two different subway systems.

"Superb standards!"
Babs W, 21 Juillet 2016

Friendly staff, very clean, quiet room with plenty of sockets including USB sockets. Efficient and polite breakfast service, good value for money. No air con but a large quiet fan provided which helped a lot in this week's heat wave. Our room was at the back so it was quite cool anyway and very peaceful. Highly recommended and very convenient for Thames walks and not far from many great historical sites.

"Great service"
traceywinter, 18 Juillet 2016

What makes a hotel stand out? Cleanliness and service. The Corona on Belgrave in London, aced both of these categories. Pleasant, helpful staff, clean room and nice continental breakfast included. Plus internet service was excellent. I say this because oftentimes internet service is spotty in hotels if working at all. Highly recommend this hotel.

"Perfect Location"
GM-BWMAYPOLE, 16 Juillet 2016

Nice friendly team on check in / Check out and breakfast. Room very clean with everything you needed including a tower fan. Located 5 min walk to the tube. Great location and exactly what we needed as a hotel.

"Nice hotel and lovely staff"
RhosBoxer, 13 Juillet 2016

Have stayed at this hotel on three occasions on business. The hotel has been refurbished to a good standard. There are complimentary toiletries and comfortable beds. The three rooms I've styled in were of reasonable size with workstation, free wifi and tea/coffee. Large plasma screen TV too. The breakfast is a buffet style with enough choice to choose from including bacon, eggs and beans along with a good selection of continental food. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. One of our party had asked for porridge which the hotel do not provide, only to have it presented to him at breakfast the next day. Good location for Pimlico tube and Victoria train/coach station with plenty of local restaurants nearby too.

"Great Stay in London"
Cassy W, 12 Juillet 2016

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and it was a great hotel. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the main Victoria Station, and a 20 minute walk from many of the major tourist attractions like Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. The hotel is in a great neighborhood near many pubs and coffee shops.

"Decent Hotel, Except for the Bathroom"
Sparky1954, 12 Juillet 2016

As others have mentioned, we found the Best Western Corona to be a fine hotel for exploring London. The Pimlico Underground station is only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and the hotel staff is quite pleasant. The only negative was the bathroom. It is the smallest I've ever encountered. As you can see in the accompanying photo, only a child would be able to sit properly on the toilet due to the position of the sink plumbing. Adults have to use an awkward sideways pose. There is a stand-up shower, but it is difficult for an adult-sized individual to turn around when inside. They are apparently doing some renovations, so perhaps this will be fixed in time.

"Fine hotel for exploring London"
ete4, 10 Juillet 2016

This was my first stay on a two-week tour of Britain. I had a small room at the top of a landing. The room was small (not unexpectedly so) but adequate for a single traveler. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom well appointed. The front desk staff were incredibly nice -- even printing out my tickets to the Tower of London that I had purchased online through my phone. This hotel is on a street that is filled with tourist hotels (some looking shabbier than the Best Western), and tourists wheeling oversized roller bags to and from Victoria Station were a common site. Get off the main thoroughfare and there's enough in Pimlico to explore -- not to mention it's extremely well located to explore the rest of the city. I would like to give a plug for Cask Pub & Kitchen, an unassuming pub around the corner from this hotel with a very friendly staff and selection of excellent beers.

"Absolute shambles"
revjan2016, 04 Juillet 2016

Pre-booked and paid 5 months ago, booking confirmed by phone the day before travel. On arrival the dis-interested reception staff informed us that 'the system' had re-allocated our rooms, and we were 'bumped' to a horrible B and B in Earl's Court, for which we were meant to be grateful. A hotel and company with no concept of customer care. We will avoid Great Western in the future.

"Excellent location, friendly staff, nice room"
Sirkku A, 28 Juin 2016

I spent four nights here with my mother. We arrived before check-in time so our room wasn't ready, but we could leave our luggage at the hotel, which worked fine for us. When we got back in the evening, the check in process went smoothly. Our room was in the lower ground floor, close but not next to the breakfast room. The room was compact but very nice, safe, clean and quiet. The room had free wi-fi, which worked fine. There was also a coffee maker in the room, which was a nice touch. When traveling, I don't need a large room because I'm mostly just going to sleep there. The location of the hotel is excellent. Pimlico is a very nice area with plenty of restaurants. The Pimlico tube station is about five minutes away and the larger Victoria Station is only ten minutes away. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. The breakfast was good. There were croissants, pastries, fruit, cereal, and eggs, beans, and bacon... The breakfast staff also asked if we would like some toast (white or brown), and whether we would prefer coffee or tea. On the day of our departure we had to leave very early, before breakfast time, but the staff was kind enough to bring a limited but very satisfying breakfast to our room. Overall, Best Western Corona is a nice, clean, safe hotel in a beautiful area with exceptionally friendly staff. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

"Good stay"
SutterCaine, 25 Juin 2016

Was here for 6 nights and was very comfortable all the time there. The room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. The location was perfect. Easy access to the underground and within walking distance to many attractions. Hassle free check in. Nice breakfast.

"Lower ground floor - huge room - very friendly check in"
VantivemanDCFC, 10 Juin 2016

Very convenient for working in Westminster - only a 15-20 walk to meeting near Westminster Abbey. Double room had two single beds and a very comfy double bed - huge room, windows a bit grubby on outside but probably due to renovations. No view except of building rubble - but very quiet being LG room, had windows open all night and slept like a log. Nice hotel different from the usual corporate look - had some character about it Breakfast had good enough choice between continental and cooked scrambled eggs, bacon beans etc. Breakfast staff exceptionally friendly and very attentive for coffee tea and toast and top-ups - much better than being in a Travelodge. #24hr free WiFi is a real bonus, much better than just 30mins - logical!

"Preferred hotel on Belgrave Road"
Victoria P, 10 Juin 2016

I regularly stay in London and must have tried most hotels on this road; the Corona is the only one I want to stay in again..in fact must have stayed a dozen or so times now. The price is good for the area and must be busy as it isn't always available on our works hotel booking system. Single rooms are quite small but, in my opinion, perfectly adequate. Nice to have free WiFi and toiletries. Rooms at front of hotel can be noisier due to road noise but that's common to many hotels. I do keep intending to ask for a room at the back of the hotel to compare but forget each time! Breakfast has always been ok. Not a 'full' English but hot choices are tasty...do wish they would use thicker bread for toast though...hint hint! Will definitely be back.

"Good room poor mattress"
armourer1, 08 Juin 2016

Good room size and very good service. Great location for visiting London. Close to Victoria railway station and underground system. Room G03 mattress was very poor. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

"Poor hotel but great staff - wifi only free for 24rs!"
maaike2009, 01 Juin 2016

Have stayed in the smallest one bed room ever. No air con, so had to keep the window open all night, but wouldn't stay open so only option was to use the bible as a prop. The walls are so thin that the alarm from the room next door woke me up, not that I soundly asleep as the local church starts raining its bells at 5 am, and with the window open, it's pretty loud! I'm here for three nights but wifi is only free for 24 hours, not great for a business trip Great location however, and the staff are really helpful. I just like to sleep when it's time for shut eye

"Best of the Best"
Julie B, 31 Mai 2016

Stayed here on several occasions and have always received a great welcome and great stay. Will definitely being staying again and bringing the family along, a great place to stay if you want to visit sights of London, not far to tube station or walking distance to London Eye.

"Perfect location for Chelsea Flower Show"
Angie_L, 29 Mai 2016

This hotel is very convenient to Victoria Station, with Pimlico tube station a 5 minute walk away. The friendly staff couldn't do enough and were extremely helpful about giving directions to the local transport. Our room was spotless - like most people have said, the bathroom is not enormous but has everything you need including a great shower. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would plan to use it when in London again.

"Good stay and location "
xmas05, 27 Mai 2016

Room is small and there is carpet which I have come to dislike but staff were helpful and friendly, the location is very close to Victoria station and the hop on hop off stops. The tube has gotten ridiculously expensive in London Actually London is the most expensive city I've ever been to and much more so than when I visited before( relative to other places etc)this hotel is literally on a street lined with boutiquish hotels with names like best western so lots of choices. You can walk to bucking ham from here and there are lots of shops and restaurants and English pubs nearby. Careful, places close early and are often closed Sunday which we thought bring in such a touristy area was strange.

"Great Experience"
Lisa P, 26 Mai 2016

My sister and I stayed at the Best Western Corona while spending a few days in London. We chose this hotel because it seemed to have a central location, reasonable price, and positive past experiences with other Best Western hotels. This hotel was clean and very adequate for our needs. Our room was on the below ground floor and featured a twin bed, double bed, and private bathroom. The room was definitely smaller than what you would get in the US, but we were expecting that, so it was not an issue. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is within walking distance to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the London Eye. We were also able to walk back from the area around the Tower of London, although it might be a little far for some people. It is very convenient to get to the tube from the hotel, which made getting to/from Heathrow airport a breeze. My only complaint was that the bed was a little too firm for me and caused some back discomfort; however, my sister thought hers was comfortable and did not have an issue. I would consider staying at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

"Small room but served needs for night."
Emma L, 25 Mai 2016

Had a small single room but big enough for 1. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate without a massive choice but had everything I would normally eat. One issue if you can ask for a room facing the back as my room had a lot of traffic noise despite the window being shut. I guess the age of the building means that double glazing is not allowed. Handy for my meeting near Westminster.

"Weekend with friends"
371henrim, 25 Mai 2016

Normally I'd give this kind of hotel one star less, but as this was in London and quite well located, let's make it three. The location and price are the two best things about it: rooms are small and lack air conditioning. The double bed is tiny so make sure to book a twin room if you're traveling with friends :-)

"Don't stay here"
sugardoc1, 23 Mai 2016

I am not going to dress this up, or go into hyperbole, but just don't stay here. Small rooms, smell of damp/mold, not particularly well sited. To be fair to the team, they try hard to make this work but just stay somewhere else

"A good value hotel in Pimlico"
Bryan G, 19 Mai 2016

I stayed at this hotel whilst at attending a function, in London. The hotel is good value, has clean rooms, a good breakfast and helpful staff. It is located in a quiet area no more than 5 minutes walk from Pimlico Underground Station, which is only 10 minutes from Kings Cross or Euston on the Victoria line. I enjoyed my time there and would use it again when in London

"At the heart of the city"
Patri C, 17 Mai 2016

We stayed at the Best Western hotel for 4 days the past weekend. The hotel was extremeley close to Victoria, next to bus 24 stop (to Leicester square), and had around all type of facilities, from nice, cosy restaurants to have breakfast to Sainsbury's and Boots. The staff was really kind, helpful and proffessional! We almost forgot a handbag on our leaving day and the cleaners took it to the reception so that they could warn us about the situation! They were awesome! The room (we stayed in a triple) was very comfortable, nice, clean and it had all the services needed, from a nice, equipped bathroom to complimentary tea, water and buscuits. The only bad thing about our stay was the fact that, on our first morning, they had to repair the window of the room next door, so we had a noisy wake-up alarm. However, everything else is far worth a slight trouble and we recommend the Best Western Corona for London stays!! We most certainly will be coming back for more!!

"Small but clean"
Jenny B, 17 Mai 2016

This hotel was a bit difficult to find at first, didn't have a sign sticking out. The room was very small for 3 people who luggage. There was no air conditioning so we had the window open and our door propped open to cool off the room. We stayed in room 308 and if you look out the window around 11pm there is a free peep show in the building across. Staff was friendly and they have a fridge at front desk if you need to keep any food cold. Not a bad place.

"Hotter than the beaches...not in a good way! "
emmagoughitsme, 11 Mai 2016

I recently stayed for one night in room 302. The hotel is located in an ideal location only a short 10 minute walk from Pimlico underground station. Friendly welcome and we even asked for breakfast 30 mins earlier at 6:30am as we had to leave for a conference and this wasn't a problem at all. Room was very clean, new furnishings, snug with a good sized TV however the room was hotter than the gates of hell. Even with the window wide open ALL night, I was melting. The water in the room was warm, my make up had melted and even the shower & tap water didn't go cold! I rang reception at 11:30pm after I couldn't take it anymore and he said the heat was due to the bedroom underneath me having their heating on....I have never heard of anything more ridiculous in my life. At 1:30am when I still couldn't get to sleep I tried a cold shower but this is the not hotel in the world to never not have a hot shower. Lovely little hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast and good location but not for those who faint easily in heated conditions! Thanks for a pleasant stay, think I've lost 10lbs in sweat!

"Expensive for what you get"
Hairyworf1, 08 Mai 2016

Stayed here for one night on a Saturday. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the reception staff, have to say its the best welcome we have had booking into a hotel in ages. We were informed that we had been upgraded to a family room, all good so far, there were complimentary newspaper at reception. Our room was at the front the building on the fourth floor. The room was well appointed and the ensuite was smallish but modern and functional. Loads of tea and coffee, I would call the room snug, not the biggest in the world, been in smaller. One small window, no air con. The hotel is situated on a busy road. when we got back later that evening the room was warm despite leaving the window wide open. The noise from the street was loud, had to put up with someone loud music from a neigh bout and the local residents shouting in the street. If you closed the window , you roasted. Double glazing and air con would be good. Breakfast was poor in my opinion. No fresh fruit, came out of a tin, cooked food was bacon, baked beans and scrambled egg. There was no option to have a poached or fried egg. Hotel is near to a tube station and a short walk to the river. Doubt we will stay here again, shame really

"Very Happy to Stay there Again"
CrabberOne, 07 Mai 2016

The Corona Hotel is situated on Belgrave Road, London where there is plenty of competition for similar hotels. Some very good and some very poor. It is in a great location for Central London if sightseeing with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The Corona is certainly very comfortable and perhaps at the better end of the range. A few steps to negotiate on entry but a very warm welcome at reception and easy check-in. My room was on the ground floor at the top of the stairs that lead to the breakfast dining area. The room was a good size, comfortable and well reasonably well equipped. The bathroom was clean and modernised although space was at a premium when using the toilet as one has the sink almost on one's lap forcing a slight sideways manoeuvre when seated. Ihad to be up relatively early for work however a lie-in may not be possible for all as one can hear noise from the breakfast guests as they descend the stairs outside my hotel room door and eat their breakfasts. Neither were a particular problem to me and I would not hesitate in staying there again on my frequent trips to London.

"Good hotel"
Steve I, 04 Mai 2016

Stayed for two nights and was very pleased we chose this hotel, ideally located for the tube station, our bedroom was on the first floor at the front of the hotel, it was well equipped with a fantastic shower!!! Breakfast was very good too, set us up for the day with a wide selection of food. Would definitely visit again!!!

"Nice Hotel"
Nick B, 01 Mai 2016

The hotel is situated central London. Good accessibly due to a near underground station. The reception is as usual very nice. The rooms are small but all accommodations are available. The breakfast is continental with limited choice. Nevertheless I would highly recommend the hotel due to his hospitality and location.

"Very noisy.."
nursetutor, 29 Avril 2016

This was a great hotel 5 minutes from Pimlico station and excellent for transport links. 10 mins walk from Victoria train and bus station. Free magazines, I had Elle a decent TV with all freeview channels. There were even biscuits with the tea and they were yummy! Hotel is on a main road and London never stops so it was pretty noisy which was such a shame. Staff were OK. I would like to stay here again but at the back of the hotel would be nice.

"Well Placed Hotel"
Brands_03, 24 Avril 2016

Stayed for three nights on business. Hotel really well placed for Pimlico tube and a whole load of pubs and restaurants. I had a basement room next to the lift. Rubbish view out of the window, in fact a view of rubbish. That said, the room was clean and reasonably well equipped - no fridge though. I had good wifi throughout my stay, easily good enough for Facetime or Skype. The bathroom was adequate, if a bit small. I reckon the room would be a squeeze for two with suitcases and stuff, but absolutely fine for me. I needed to leave early one day 30 mins before breakfast and the hotel delivered me room service - excellent customer service thank you. My room was completely quiet but other colleagues had rooms at the front on higher floors and weren't as impressed. Guess you need to be at the back or underground; I thought £120 was a bit steep.

"Good value for London"
javabelle, 18 Avril 2016

Best Western Corona is conveniently located near to two tube stations (Pimlico and Victoria), and in quiet neighbourhood. I stayed in a single room which was small (typical London) but comfortable. Good options at breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. I look forward to staying here again next time.

"Clean, comfortable room in central London"
Masters-excursions, 16 Avril 2016

A no frills stay in central London for business. The staff were polite and courteous. Stayed in a single room with small bathroom. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a few warm items, plus the usual selection of cereals, toast, yogurts and fruits. Overall a pleasant stay.

"Overnight stay"
sarahlouparker71, 09 Avril 2016

Lovely, clean and tidy hotel. Good location, just a short tube ride on the Victoria line from Oxford circus. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room with our 5 year old, which was big enough for our overnight stay. Good choice for breakfast buffet; scrambled, boiled eggs, bacon, beans, tomatoes, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, ham, cheese, croissants, pastries, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Would definitely stay again, even though the hot water in the shower was a little hit and miss.

"Very small rooms"
SarahCovell, 08 Avril 2016

Excellently situation, easy walking distance of tube. Nice restaurants close by too. Easy walk to many attractions. Hotel spotlessly clean, staff helpful and well mannered. Only thing was the rooms were tiny and the bathrooms even smaller. All in all a decent hotel for the business traveller but for holidays you would probably find it rather claustrophobic.

"good hotel for not close to any major landmark"
Travis S, 08 Avril 2016

This was a good hotel if your trying to see a different part of england, although there is no AC in this hotel and if you are trying to get on wifi it only lets 1 person on from your room at a time and it kicks the other person off. Beautiful area around but just wasn't what we were wanting to stay by.

"Above & Beyond."
Theresa G, 31 Mars 2016

Fantastic little hotel. Clean as a whistle. Reception staff very friendly, helpful & polite. Breakfast was lovely & breakfast staff just as nice as the reception staff. Room had everything I needed. Very comfy bed. Amazing power shower. I was in room 111 for 2 nights. I would recommend it & I would definitely use this hotel again.

"Good value for money and good location"
DavidBirchall, 31 Mars 2016

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of night during Easter. The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was relatively spacious. Staff were all polite and friendly. Ideal location for the tube (less than 5 minute walk to Pimlico station and maybe 15 minutes to Victoria). If we were staying in London again we would definitely look at stopping here again.

"Visit"
diddy12, 24 Mars 2016

Travelled to London with my 9 yr old twins hotel staff were welcoming helpful pleasant. They really looked after us. Room lovely everything you need all was clean and tidy. Good selection for breakfast everything fresh and again staff were helpful. Pimlico tube station very short walk away. Thank you

"Avoid it if you are 5 foot 7 or over "
sharonO186525, 23 Mars 2016

This is a very small , tidy , neat hotel that would generally fit a family of dwarfs ! I have never stayed in a smaller room before or have eaten in a smaller restaurant . Nevertheless it is modernised and clean . Windows are not double glazed so it's a bit noisy but not unbearable

"Excellent staff, spotless but noisy traffic meant poor sleep"
Hollfamily, 12 Mars 2016

Well located in Belgravia 10 minutes walk from the Thames. Reception staff were very attentive. Room and hotel were spotless. No evening meals available. My only gripe is that the windows were old fashioned sash single glazed, probably due yo conservation area and the noise from the traffic from 5am meant. Sleep was disturbed every night

"Great location and value!"
Deborah A, 29 Février 2016

We booked a basic suite for 2 nights, Friday-Sunday. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Victoria Station, 20 minute walk to Buckingham Palace, 30 minutes to Big Ben/London Eye, Convent Garden/Soho. Very convenient location, beautiful neighborhood. We felt very safe, and had a pleasant stay here. We chose to not spend money on breakfast, so our room was discounted. The room was ok, located in the basement of the hotel - so the view was of the alleyway, but we didn't care. We spent the majority of the days outside of the hotel, and only used it for sleep and shower. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a clean, safe, and cheap option while in London. Oh, wi-fi was included, but since we were in the basement, it was a bit spotty.

"Overbooked, moved to a 2* b&b no compensation"
Faye B, 24 Février 2016

I booked 2 night stay for a work trip at the best western as its a brand name that I trust to have a fairly decent standard for cleanliness, size etc. On arrival they state they've overbooked so transfer me over the road to a 2* b&b which is cheap shoddy and dirty. Looking online cheaper and lower rated. Thanks best western, trust gone. It's not about the money as my work are paying anyway however I would expect from the customer service that I'm transferred at a minimum to the same standard of accommodation.

"Good location"
Jillian C, 17 Février 2016

Good location, friendly helpful staff and clean hotel. Excellent position for Underground and local friendly restaurants and bars. Quiet area of London, perfect to get away from hustle and bustle. Would definitely return.

"A pleasant stay in a convenient location"
SussexKazzy, 17 Février 2016

My friends and I stayed one night in single rooms. These rooms were small, with single beds, but perfectly adequate. Likewise the bathrooms were small but everything was clean. There was free wifi, and tea and coffee. The only drawback was the traffic noise, it wasn't bad, but I'm use to complete silence at night. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

"Alright Hotel!"
Ian N, 14 Février 2016

Stayed for a weekend in January. Bedroom layout badly designed. Couldn't see the TV from the beds! Breakfast was a little disapointing, not replenished when there was still guests coming for breakfast. A place to sleep and handy for tube and walking into town.

"Worst stay ever!!"
Kirsty B, 14 Février 2016

It is currently 3:20am and can't wait to go home in the morning. Can't sleep due to the banging of the fake chained up "balcony" door!! And this room is smaller than my bedroom at home. The price paid for this is ridiculous. Never ever ever again!!

"A hidden gem"
chriscorr, 11 Février 2016

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The hotel looks freshly decorated, it is bright, airy and clean throughout and has a quality feel with a high standard of fittings in the room. As usual in London the room (single) was quite small but it didn't feel cramped. Lots of lighting and space to work. A great shower! The free wi-fi works well with a strong signal and the TV has all the standard Freeview channels. There are USB charging points in the desk and plenty of free sockets for work. Over the road there is a Pizza Express and an Indian restaurant. The hotel is under 5 minutes walk from Pimlico tube station, about 10-15 minutes walk to the river and about 10-15 minutes by tube from central London areas. The staff were all friendly and helpful with no wait for anything. The breakfast was delicious. A full range of cold items are available, as well as bacon, egg and beans. Breakfast is served in a small dining area hidden in the basement. Breakfast doesn't start until 7am though so you'll miss it if leaving early. The only tiny criticism is the noise. Somewhat unavoidable in London, but there is some noise from the road outside and the internal noise travels quite a lot too. It wasn't a great problem but if you need your silence to sleep you might find it a bit irritating. I would definitely stay here again, even if working elsewhere in London as it's so well connected.

"Comforting for nights stay"
Novadane M, 31 Janvier 2016

I loved this hotel! Its all I can say I stayed for one night to see Stonehenge. I took coach from Victoria Coach Station which is only a 10 min walk from hotel. There is also convenience of local bus service. There are restaurants nearby as well.

"Nice little hotel"
Avril147, 30 Janvier 2016

Nice little hotel rooms pleasant with a nice breakfast clean and comfortable would stay here on business again easy location for Pimlico tube ...will recommend this hotel to colleagues and friends a wee bit expensive £125 per night staff very pleasant and helpful

"Bring ear plugs"
Will_it_grow_back, 25 Janvier 2016

Stayed here for one night in a twin room for business trip. The good things - The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from Victoria tube station so pretty easy to get to and from transport. Room was LG5, which was a comfortable size, clean and well decorated. The bathroom was nice and the shower in the morning was great. The bad things - LG05 is right next to the eating area which comes alive at around 6:30 when the staff begin preparing for breakfast. Pans clatter, people talking to each other and then on goes the radio. None of this would be a problem if the door to the eating area was to remain closed or the bedroom door were not paper thin. Bring ear plugs or you will be awake before you want to be. The breakfast was quite limited and not particularly nice either - I think the eggs were powdered and had a strange consistency, like mashed potato.

"Great Staff, Small Rooms"
Ian S, 20 Janvier 2016

I was met by a friendly smile and efficient booking in process. I had a double room with no view and when I opened the curtains the air vents were stuffed with toilet paper? The room was very small but reasonably well laid out, the odd stool was stuffed into the only available space for it, it couldn't really be used unless you put your feet on the bed?? Room rate was reasonable for the area. Good access to a couple of pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about but again friendly service.

"Excellent"
Dragos M, 19 Janvier 2016

Very nice place, clean and warm. Very good services. Very good location, just 15 minutes walk to Big Ben, and 5 minutes to Victoria station. Around area are a lot of shops and rrstaurants. Price is guaranteed.

"Good for the price"
Alex M, 14 Janvier 2016

A little far from the main sights but not bad if you can walk everywhere. It is right next to a station on the tube so if you are public transit savvy it's a good location - you get what you pay for. Biggest disappointment was the wi-fi, it didn't work in our room and they couldn't get it fixed for the duration of our stay (3 days) but really not the biggest deal... when I'm on vacation, wi-fi is not life or death.. we just had to walk to the lobby to use it which was inconvenient. For a budget hotel, not bad at all. I'd stay here again.

"Not bad"
Craig B, 13 Janvier 2016

Checked in by friendly staff, warned that hotel was being renovated! Carpet grippers, carpet up and smell of paint was a warning but ground floor room at back was quiet and big enough. Wireless was free and good speed. Free paper. Free bottled water. Would stay again. Close to loads of places to eat and drink. Close to Victoria for transport links.

"Fit for deaf midgets"
giovanna f, 10 Janvier 2016

This newly refurbished hotel was clean and tidy, and that's the best one can say of it. The window was not double glazed, hence the traffic from the street was very audible; the room, bathroom and bed were exceedingly tiny, fit for midgets. At breakfast, tea and coffee were awful. Overall, an expensively annoying experience.

"Always good"
travelleryorks, 10 Janvier 2016

I've been staying here on and off for the last 15 years or so: so a review is well overdue! I have always found this a consistently good place to stay whether for business or leisure. It's location is excellent for getting around London whether by bus 24 which goes everywhere any visitor might want to go including Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Downing Street, Horseguards Parade and Trafalgar Square to name but a few; or tube from Pimlico/Victoria or National Rail from Victoria. It's the nearest place to living in a village with friendly pubs and restaurants all around the hotel's location. Bedrooms are comfortable and well-serviced, quieter at the back with views over London on the higher floors. Staff excellent as is breakfast. No bar but not needed with numerous pubs and wine bars within walking distance. Highly recommended but not if I can't get a room!

"Good location"
Katie T, 09 Janvier 2016

Upon arrival we knew we were early, the gentleman at reception was very friendly and we left our bags with no problem at all. Checked in later and we were directed to our room which was modern, comfortable and clean. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Only downside was housekeeping knocking on the door at 8.15am on a Saturday morning! Breakfast was okay, limited choice but suffice. The location is great within walking distance to an underground station.

"best western in uk and france"
Alfred D, 09 Janvier 2016

very satisfied. We stayed in uk and france at best western and very happy and satisfied with the staff and hotels overall. The only thing is the showers, we have very little water and it gets cold and hot at times which can be a pain as back home in Australia plumbing is not a problem at all so we are used to have big showers with big flow of water and non changing temperature. But would recommend best western to anyone traveling, value for money and locations are great!

"Nice budget hotel in London center "
afnium, 03 Janvier 2016

The hotel is simple, but clean and comfortable. The room is really small as usual in London, offers free wifi a flat tv 32" and breakfast, personnel is kind and available to provide informations to the guest. The location of the hotel is walking distance from Victoria station and close to Pimlico metro station.

"Small but comfortable, quiet and convenient "
User, 15 Décembre 2015

Just a short walk to the tube or bus from this small hotel located just a few blocks from Victoria station. Very reasonably priced and staff was extremely helpful! Wireless Internet was a little weak, but there is a computer in the lobby that was free to guests that could be used to print on.

"First trip to London"
tashdeanne, 14 Décembre 2015

Stayed here for my first trip to London + it was a great base to go and explore! Pimlico station 5 minute walk - 2 minutes on the tube to Victoria where there are restaurants and theatres and not long to get to all the attractions like Big Ben, London Eye etc. Hotel was easy to find & staff were pleasant. Room was lovely with a beautiful view of the London Eye, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. Only downside was the bathroom was tiny! Expected in London I suppose but it really was small. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Would like to have wifi in bedrooms not just the reception area. They very kindly looked after our luggage all day after we had checked out which was extremely useful. Will definitely book again when visiting London again in the future!

"Corona best western"
josephmJ7808TF, 13 Décembre 2015

Good central location. The room was comfortable and the usual London size. The staff were helpful and conscientious. However the breakfast was really quite bad. The hot food was just about warm The coffe was almost cold on the first one. It did improve afer we raised the matter.

"london"
Bill N, 05 Décembre 2015

first class reception at the Corona hotel in Victoria the manager and staff were most helpful ,nothing was to much trouble spending time instructing us on the tube service and trains Damir was the young manager we must thank him for making our stay pleasant

"one night business stay"
Angela L, 29 Novembre 2015

I was a little concerned when directed to a lower ground floor room but I have to say the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. the bathroom, whilst very compact was fine. as I was travelling alone there was no problem but the room was set up with one double and 2 single beds and I imagine the size of the bathroom would have presented an issue if the room had been full. the room service was good and the menu and not extortionate and wifi was free with a good signal whic is not necessarily the case with many hotels, especially in this areas of London. The breakfast likewise was good. would stay again.

"Great location"
Sandieraa, 28 Novembre 2015

We chose this hotel for a three night break after reading good reviews about the location and room cleanliness. We were not disappointed. Really handy for Pimlico tube station, the room was great and the staff could not be more helpful. We had an issue with the shower where no cold water came in. We advised reception in the morning and it was fixed when we returned later in the day. Recommended. Would certainly return to this hotel.

"Excellent"
Welshbird2014, 25 Novembre 2015

Lovely quiet location, excellent service and nothing was too much trouble, rooms were lovely and clean. Very easy to find. Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was lovely and had plenty of choice. highly recommend

"London base"
Margaret H, 24 Novembre 2015

The Corona is in an excellent location for the underground and city centre. Hotel clean and comfortable and staff excellent always very helpful. The breakfast including hot food is very good. Always stay here on a London trip.

"Great location and super Thai Restaurant around the corner."
Emma S, 19 Novembre 2015

Service was excellent and reception couldn't do enough to help during my stay. Quality of room good- clean and modern with everything you need. While others have mentioned a poor breakfast I disagree, it is marketed as continental but has scrambled eggs, bacon and beans for those that want a hot breakfast. Good little find for the price and central location. If you like Thai food then there is an amazing restaurant just around the corner which is well worth a visit.

"Expensive but two stars pension"
Torino I, 14 Novembre 2015

I would not recommend this hotel apart from the position close to Victoria and Pimlico tube station. Staff is average the room extremely small, breakfast very basic. Next time I will look for other solutions, 150 euro a night is too much for this hotel.

"Disappointing"
Railtickethome, 13 Novembre 2015

Great location but that is about it. Room was shabby although I understand they are refurbishing. 'Free' WIFI but it did not extend its reach to my room. Answer come down to reception area. This is 2015! The final straw was the breakfast - for the first time in my life I was unable to eat a sausage. This really should be so much better!

"Fantastic location! But I have had better breakfasts!"
D7BGG, 07 Novembre 2015

Brilliant location and a nice clean room. I was in the basement which meant I had limited mobile phone signal and I also couldn't connect go to Internet but as I was out and about I didn't investigate this further with the hotel. Pleasant staff who were happy to assist. Breakfast was basic..... Limited hot choice, scrambled egg was vile! Perfect location for my workplace when in London overnight though so will stay again!

"2 nights at best Western Corona"
craleycommando, 04 Novembre 2015

Hotel is located in Victoria which is a clean and safe area. Walking distance to Victoria tube station but even closer is Pimlico Station. Hotel is quaint and clean. very nice bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning is great. If on ground floor make sure you are not beside breakfast room, can get loud.

"London Family Break"
Ecilop76, 29 Octobre 2015

Stayed in a family room at this hotel for three nights. Good location near to Pimlico Underground station. Hotel was very comfortable and staff were hjelpful and friendly. Did not spend much time at hotel but it was a good base. Good size bedroom but ensuite bathroom extremely small to say the least. Beds were comfortable and it was a fairly quiet hotel. Would recommend to others visiting London.

"Stopover to attend House of Commons tour"
James H, 15 Octobre 2015

Chose this hotel as about 1 mile from House of Commons. We had a tour early next morning. Nicely situated a few minutes walk from Pimlico Underground station. Reception very good. Efficient friendly, and told us all we needed to know. Room small but very clean and comfortable. Room for a few clothes in open wardrobe. Bathroom small but clean. I am 6ft 2 " and fitted in fine. Walk in shower, and usual shower gel and shampoo available

"Great Boutique Hotel"
Tony S, 13 Octobre 2015

The hotel is close to 2 tube(subway) lines, easy access from Victoria Train Station, the room was clean and comfortable with some nice perks. We were given early arrival to the room and the staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed something. It is in a quite area and there are some nicely priced pubs nearby. Only minutes walk to the river front. Price was very reasonable and would stay here again. We highly recommend trying it out, add the breakfast it worth it.

"Nice Hotel"
Frank R, 10 Octobre 2015

Nice centrally located, clean, friendly staff, very accommodating, close to the tube. Great little boutique feel hotel. Nice breakfast. The room was not very large but it was comfortable. We were able to check our luggage in, go to lunch and return to our room be ready before check in time.

"weekend stay in London"
noimnotsingle, 05 Octobre 2015

nice enough hotel , room was a bit small for price paid , but pleasant enough , front desk staff were nice , and breakfast was good , bed was comfy , shower clean and had free toiletries , free wifi worked well , close to Pimlico station which was a bonus.

"Small is small. Think cruise cabin"
C H L, 03 Octobre 2015

Rooms very compact (small). 8 ft at widest. If you are taller than 5ft8in good luck on the single bed as you will be sleeping in fetal position Close to Pimlico tube station on Victoria line so access to tube is excellent Staff excellent No air conditioning so expect if you leave your window to get street noise Staff is superb but

"Not bad, but basic!"
Sams85, 26 Septembre 2015

We had 2 double rooms and 1 triple. Doubles were tiny - bedroom and bathroom, very basic dated, but adequate for an overnight stay when all you'll be doing is using it to sleep, triple however was at least 4 times the size and like a suite in comparison. Not your typical best western.

"Pleasantly surprised"
Helen G, 23 Septembre 2015

I was a little concerned since i read the reviews on the way to the hotel. However i had a family room 109 and it was very quiet and very nicely furnished. New carpets throughout. Could imagine it would be hot in summer as only one small window behindthe single bed. Breakfast ok not spectacular. Few health and safety issues need sorting. Firedoor on stairs sticks open on the new carpet . Was open my entire stay and in the breakfast room there is a table in front of the fire exit. But overall a very nice comfortable and clean hotel.
