Best Western Chiswick Palace & Suites

Perfectly located for our trip to Twickenham to watch the rugby. We had arrived early and our room wasn't ready,so the very kind lady on reception changed our room to one that was. We had a quad room which was plenty big enough for me,my wife and our two teenage kids. very clean room,lovely bathroom with the most powerful shower i have ever experienced !! plenty for breakfast hot and cold and good quality. cheaper to order breakfast when you arrive. I really cannot fault this hotel . don't tell the owners but i think this hotel could charge more.... wink wink!! i was really that impressed . We will be returning next year for sure

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and fresh and there were great breakfast options. The breakfast room is a conservatory style room at the back of the hotel - sometimes it can be crowded but the staff were very good tidying up and were fast. I had everything I needed for my stay and I was very happy with the service I received. Staff were able to help with my request to leave luggage, etc. and nothing was an issue. I have stayed here several times over the past 10 years and I have not ever had any cause to complain. I highly recommend.

At the time we travelled the hotel was outside the congestion charge area but was in the ULEZ environment zone if travelling by car (please check M4 from junction 3 re congestion charge as this wasn't clear _ we avoided it by coming off at J5 just in case). The access to the car park is pretty narrow and you might wish to ask for the width if you have a particularly large car. I had to retract my wing mirrors. The parking spaces are laid out well and it is all very neat. Very nicely placed a short walk to the station for trains into the city. There are lovely restaurants and a cinema is directly opposite the hotel. The hotel is kept clean and tidy and the reception staff are very very helpful. My room was reasonably quiet. The movement and shower of other guests can be heard above but its not too intrusive. The room was tidy and well presented. Certainly enough storage in this room. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were a little too firm for my liking. Facilities are what you expect regarding complimentary tea, coffee, shower gels etc. Lovely large bath towels. Definitely something for everyone at breakfast and reasonable quality. It is all self service. However there is a staff member on hand clearing tables if you need anything. All in all I would definitely return here.

We stayed while visiting family for Christmas. Warmly greeted by Shiva who was particularly helpful. Our room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Everything met expectations. The car park is a squeeze to get in and out of but being able to park in London was a major attraction for us to choose this hotel so we were still pleased.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff, clean room and excellent breakfast opitons. We had every thing we needed for our stay and were happy with the service we received. Lovely conservatory room. Staff were able to help with our requests to leave luggage, call a taxi etc.

Modest but sufficient breakfast, clean and comfy room. Also the staff is very helpfull and polite. The location is very good. Very near to the city center. Shopping places, Pubs Restaurants and cafes all just in walking distance.

Nice hotel in a good location next to plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Rooms are modern and exceptionally clean. Front of staff are very accommodating and I would like to give a mention to James for exceptionally good customer service.

Stayed to attend a wedding , room was ok , clean and did the job, shower has a curtain , perhaps it might be upgraded at some point as room was a little tired , only negative was it was facing the road and was quite noisy. Good breakfast , staff friendly and it was good for one nights stay.

The location is great. There are lots of good restaurants to eat at within walking distance. It's a nice neighborhood. The breakfast was decent and lobby was nice. The rooms were a different story. The carpet and the walls are extremely filthy. I have never stayed somewhere with carpet La so stained and walls so dirty. We had to ask for a new duvet cover for one of our beds because it was dirty. This place could be so much better with cleaned carpets and fresh paint.

We used this hotel for the first time while attending the BST Hyde Park festival. The hotel is well located on Chiswick high Road and can easily be accessed from the M4 . The hotel is neat and tidy with a good car park to the rear. It is within an easy stroll of the local tube station at Turnham Green. The breakfast was good. Also a number of good restaurants in the very near facility.

The hotel is conveniently located around a 5/6 minute walk from the tube with lots of shops nearby. It is spotlessly clean and very sleek looking on arrival. On check in, the male staff member (afternoon of 30/6/23) was incredibly attentive and explained exactly where to find my room, and if I had any issues at all to call this number which he wrote down for me. I was given a room very close to reception with no steps which was perfect as I had a very heavy suitcase. When I arrived at my room I was pleasantly surprised - it was very spacious, much bigger than your standard premier inn style room and so much storage space that had clearly been designed in a way to look sleek yet efficient. There were 3 shortbread biscuits provided and lots of lovely complimentary toiletries which I made good use of. The shower was also great, very powerful and roomy - I just wish I was staying longer than one night!

I loved it here- it's not 5 star luxury, but neither is it basic-and much more characterful and friendly than most Premier Inns. Lovely bit of London, very much my old stamping ground from drama student days, so it was nostalgic for me- even though I was very much here to work in 2023! I was upgraded, which was lovely. I had also ended up making two separate bookings but staying in the same room- I seem to do this a lot and most hotels get into utter confusion about this-ok, can't blame them! However, the Chiswick Palace dealt with it so smoothly, from payment to updating the room key, to just everyone knowing that was what was happening. Lovely staff too, everyone I met from housekeeping/reception or spoke to on the phone ahead of the booking was so friendly and helpful. Wifi was good (I spent all day working and missing the sun!). Aircon was a bit noisy, but very welcome. I asked for a quiet room which I think did mean I got somewhere with no view down a dark corridor, but I did appreciate the quiet! Felt very safe walking back late at night, due to being on the main road. I opted not to have breakfast as I don't eat a huge breakfast and £11 seemed a bit much... rookie Chiswick mistake. Walked down the High road and paid exactly that for a tiny bowl of porridge and a cup of tea! The hotel buffet looked great and way better than that. Well, I've already booked to come back next month- and this time I'm going for the breakfast!!

Great location. Easily walkable to the Tube. The front desk was very helpful and the breakfast was nice. The tub did have a high step, but that was my only complaint. It is also very near to restaurants and pubs. It was super quiet, too.

The hotel is simply excellent and Soren an outstanding manager. Breakfast excellent, room facilities great, we have received very unbureaucratic assistance with everything we needed. Not exactly common, especially in London these days :-) Can only recommend

We were delighted with this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, good location, great breakfast and comfortable beds in large room for three. Very clean room. Small snag immediately dealt with. We will use this hotel again.

After checking in I arrived at my room to find there was no window and builders tools all over the floor. It had been -2 degrees that morning and +2 degrees outside! How could I have been allocated a room with a window missing in January on one of the coldest days of the last year! I returned to reception and told them what I had found. There was no apology or offer of an upgraded room to compensate for the appalling experience. The receptionist just gave me a new card to a different room. At least this had a window in situ but the radiator was turned off so the room was very cold. It took 3 hours to warm up. The room was very small, there was nowhere to put my case other than the floor. The bathroom was so tiny that your leg and shoulder touched the basin when using the toilet. The mattress was hard and pillows cheap and synthetic. The parking was chargeable at £12 a day and breakfast an extra charge too. It is expensive for the lack of quality and space in the bedroom and parking should be free for guests. A good location - hence 1 star.

Very nice Hotell in Chiswick. Friendly staff, clean and fresh lobby/reception and breakfast. Room was towards Chiswick high road (pretty noisy) but it didn't bother us too much. Very warm room so we had to use air conditioner (in January). Overall very satisfied.

Terrible cleanliness, unfriendly staff, and broken bathroom fixtures. We had stains on the carpet and the decorative bed trim. The staff was unfriendly, especially compared with past experiences at Best Western. The bathroom fixtures were broken and missing pieces. The bathroom amenities were lacking and of very poor quality. Beware of staying in the family room, the pictures do not reflect the reality. There is a stairway leading up to the family room and the bathroom is cramped. Breakfast was also not included in the stay, something we've never encountered before in a Best Western location. The breakfast selection was limited and the food was meagre. Very disappointing experience overall.

We chose this hotel for its convenient location close to the A4, which means we can get in and out of the capital quickly. Turnham Green tube is within walking distance and the area is quiet and attractive. We parked early but could not check in until later as we were in the West end. This meant the only room available was not of thr standard we expected. We booked a king and it was a double bed, in a very small room. In the morning we complained to Soren Back, the deputy manager. Soren apologised profusely. He immediately organised a very fair refund and assured us that if we returned he would ensure we recieved an excellent price and service. Before we left we had an excellent breakfast in their friendly restaurant area and were looked after by a polite and diligent waitress. I recommend this hotel and will be returning.

The hotel is in a good location for visits to london, Tube is 5 mins walk away, it's easy to locate and parked up fine. The hotel and room seemed very clean, the reception friendly and professional. The room was on the first floor, 122 i think, I wish we had the time to see if we could change rooms however when we got back after a show it was gone 12 am when we realised the bed was very uncomfortable it was like laying directly on springs and really required a topper. It also faced over the back of the kitchen and vents which i think were causing very loud humming noise which kept me awake most of the night. The breakfast was lovely everything you'd need to start your day. I would advise the hotel to add thick toppers to the oldest mattresses as it was very uncomfortable. We passed our key over the next morning however no one asked us how our stay was otherwise we would have mentioned before we left.

Soren in reception did everything possible for us to have the most comfortable stay. Travelling with a baby is not easy, but Soren anticipated our needs and made our stay an unforgetable one! Great customer service!

Great hotel in a good location easily reached by tube. Check in was easy and the room was a decent size with everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was served in the reception area which was slightly odd but there were plenty of seats available in the conservatory. Check out was straightforward. I'd stay here again if I was visiting West London again - we attended an event at Hammersmith.

I've been staying in London professionally for work for the past 21 years and I have to say this takes some beating for the price. Stayed for two nights recently and just wanted to share with you what a hidden gem in Chiswick this place is. Rooms immaculately clean, staff super friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast delicious, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location is in wonderful neighborhood, walk to the river, eat, drink, take the tube to Central London easily and connect to other trips and LHR. The service was was fantastic, friendly, pre-paid breakfast. Everyone was so friendly particularly Soren! ❤️❤️❤️

Our studio was impeccably clean and the beds were amazing!! Staff were super friendly and very helpful! The breakfast selection in the morning was fabulous as they had everything from continental to a full fry up.

Nice stay-in Chiswick, hotel colleagues were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a reasonable size. Visited twice this year seeing our daughter who leaves in Brentford. Hotel location close to quality restaurants and tube stations. Would stay again.

I needed a car parking space (£12 on be website for the hotel) and so called pre-booking to check. I was told "yes, absolutely no problem, pop a note on the booking and we'll sort it". On the basis of this phone call I booked (non-refunable) and left the requested note on the booking. Three days before arrival I called to check this had all gone through. I was told there was no parking available for our stay even though I said I had checked pre-booking and told to add the note. I could hear a very loud supervisor in the background say "we're in negative for parking, look", to the lady on the phone, who then spoke to me very abruptly to say "you heard my manager, he's loud enough, there's none available, have a nice day, bye" and the phone was put down. On the basis of this I emailed with my booking number to get a resolution, this was ignored and so I had to book and pay £65 of my own money for private parking. When we got to the room the key card didn't work, my partner went back downstairs to get this sorted, at which point the receptionist asked if we had a car with us?! I hope the £65 I shelled out was not for nothing. Room was nice and clean, comfy bed, breakfast nice, hotel itself did the job for what we needed, would stay here again but don't trust the parking!!!!

Full english option, along with cereal options, croissants, selection of fresh fruit, tea, coffee machine capable of lattés, and more. WOULD COME AGAIN 100%

A very nice hotel, in a nice area. Easy access to the city with underground, and also other transport. Not the cheapest, but I booked late so I cant complain. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, in variation and quality. Room was nice, clean and above London standard.

We came in very late after a flight and Sab did everything to accommodate me and make me feel at home. Excellent customer service. I cannot thank him enough! The hotel was also very clean and the room nice and spacious!

An excellent accommodation in a very pleasant area with easy access to central London. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast included choices which would suit most people. The pastries were disappointing. The carpets in the room were not cleaned very well.

You are less than a 10-minute walk to the tube and there are great restaurants right outside the front door. The room wasn't super special and our king bed was two singles with a king sheet... The staff is super friendly, too.

After our flight was cancelled out of London, we scrambled to book accommodation for the weekend. Through Hotels.com, we attempted to book on a phone while in transit with spotty internet. After hitting confirm we realized the calendar dates had jumped by two weeks. Upon realizing the mistake we immediately contacted both Hotels.com and Best Western Chiswick to attempt to correct the error and move the dates to the upcoming weekend. Best Western no longer had both weekend days available and refused to refund our booking. They cited their no refund policy. I understand why these policies are often in place - people cancel last minute and the hotel would lose out by not being able to rebook the room. In this case our booking was more than two weeks out, we contacted them immediately (the booking didn't exist 30 minutes earlier), and there would have been ample opportunity to rebook the room. They wouldn't even offer a compromise - perhaps meeting us in the middle and refunding only one of the nights. Regardless of their policy there is always flexibility for decent and good customer service given an honest mistake. It made a particularly stressful travel situation worse. Given our interaction with, and inflexibility of Best Western Chiswick Palace, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Helpful staff, found a room to extend our stay even though the hotel was very booked. Our first room was lovely, comfortable, lots of light in the room and nice big shower. Though there is some wear and tear throughout the hotel, it was very clean!

We have stayed in Chiswick in many many different accommodations: rentals, b and b's, etc, and we recently found. ourselves with a need for a few nights stay on an unexpectedly extended stay. I will admit we hesitated (chain hotel) but we took the leap and were glad we did. From. the moment we. arrived the staff. was kind and. attentive. Soren at the front desk was particularly helpful and even offered us an upgraded. room. Our room. was. spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was large and. modern and had a good shower. All in all a great stay and we will likely return to this hotel.

I need to preface this with: I booked this 2 months ago for 3 people. We arrived via a side door, checked in and told our room is on the second floor. We weren't directed to stairs or a lift, we just had to find out own way. Once we made it up the four flights of stairs, we were greeted by a room with 2 beds.. But there are 3 of us! We immediately call reception to be told that they are looking into it and will call us back. We sit in our first (YES, FIRST) room for 20 minutes before chasing up with the reception staff. We are told that a colleague is on the way, Great! We meet him in the stairwell as we weren't sure he would be able to find us. He advises that there aren't any rooms as they are fully booked. But sir, we booked a triple room, 2 months ago, why was this not accommodated for at the time? He said that they had a potential room in the basement we can look at. We query if there are 3 beds, his response "just come and look". Again, we ask: Are there 3 beds though? - "Come and look, we can get you more blankets if you are happy with it". Sorry sir, excuse me? He then informs us that we can leave our bags in the HALL WAY. We are not leaving our belongings in the hallway. We go down 6 flights of stairs to the basement to be shown a studio flat with 1 double bed, a single bed in an office and... yes.. you guessed it.. a sofa. Ah, that is why he said he can get us extra blankets. We inform the member of staff that this isn't acceptable. He states that there are no more rooms. We reiterate that we booked this 2 months ago for 3 people and wonder why we haven't been accommodated. We are THEN told there is a room, but the lights don't work. We go in and the lights do work but one of the beds has been slept in, the toilet is dirty and used (as has the shower) and there are hand prints on the ceiling. The wifi also isn't reliable. We ask for 3 pillows - receive 2 (as the beds didn't have pillows). We tell the member of staff that the toilet is dirty and he says - quite flippantly - "well.. do you want me to come and clean it?" I'm sorry but he should be saying that he WILL come and clean it. The room has obviously been used and not cleaned at all. We are woken up by people walking up and down the corridor banging loudly (We are in the basement remember) and I am pretty sure someone tried to come in, but luckily we locked the door!

Lovely, comfortable, clean hotel, excellent service, very convenient parking arrangements with reserved spaces if required. Very close to great shopping street with a colourful selection of 'real' shops, artisan bakeries and eateries, and a short walk to the nearest tube station at Turnham Green..

Five stars to the hotel, all deserved! I am familiar with Chiswick area, the hotel is in a very strategic position, only 8 minutes walking from Turnham green Station, Zone 2. Only 20/25 minutes underground to Victoria station. There's plenty of shops and restaurants options around there, leafy roads and safe area. The hotel is very nice, super clean and modern. Quiet, it's a pleasure to wake up to that peace. We had our room checked and fresh towels almost every day. Also Internet was working fine. Fantastic and abundant breakfast with plenty of options for vegetarian. A plus is the Full English breakfast every day! I really enjoyed it. Staff was extremely helpful and polite, always ready to assist. I can't think of anything to improve or change.I would highly recommend it and I will surely stay there again.

The Best Western Chiswick is a great place to stay will in Chiswick, Greater London. Close to shops and restaurants. Also close to Fullers Brewery. The reason while we stayed there. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet. Would definitely staff there again.

Wow! What can I say? Firstly don't be put off by the outside. As soon as you walk in you will be amazed at this lovely place. So clean! Smells fresh! Clear signs where to go. Attentive and helpful staff. Then the room. So clean. Crisp white sheets, lovely if firm beds. Clean bathroom and nice shower towels soap etc. Bring your shampoo & conditioner though. Tea coffee facilities etc. aircon was a bit bubbly/noisy but we used earplugs anyway. A good nights sleep then full English breakfast. Delicious! So much choice with continental b'fast too, fruit, pastries! Yum. Highly recommend this place

As usual my stay at the Chiswick Palace Hotel was most enjoyable. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. It is my first choice of where to stay when visiting the area.

I met Sab the Reception Manager who was so kind and considerate. He has such a nice manner and was just happy to help. Very nice welcome and overall would recommend anyone to speak to him. Hope Best Western look after him too.

Great hotel, room comfortable and the staff very attentive. Hotel is situated on the Chiswick High Road with a great array of restaurants and pubs. Easy access to city center by bus or tube ( Turnham Green)

Lovely staff, couldn't do enough for you. I had a great nights sleep which is the main thing I would definitely stay again. Breakfast was freshly made and good for vegetarians. Lots of restaurants near for evening meal

We, a family of four from Holland, stayed in this hotel for a week during the Chrismas period. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very professional and friendly. Our room was great. We had good beds. The location of the hotel is also perfect. With the bus you can get to the city centre very easily. And Chiswick High Road is a nice street, with a lot of shops, restaurants and a park nearby.

Stayed here for 3 nights -on 2 occassions in past 6months. Warm welcome. Rooms clean and comfortable - but small. WIFI could be better -limited access in 24 hour period. Parking good- but would advise booking in advance. Someroomsat front ofbuilding noisy so would reccomend roomsto rear ofproperty

Stayed one night to attend a nearby test centre. Hotel honoured my request for a quiet room and I had a good night's rest before my exam the following morning. The bed was super comfortable, there was a great selection of continental breakfast items, and staff were friendly. Car parking available by prior arrangement with the hotel. Highly recommended.

This was our second stay at the BW Cheswick Palace. It is now our firm favourite for all future visits to London. The location of the hotel fantastic. It's close to M4. Outside the congestion zone, near the airport. The hotel is located between 2 London Underground stations both probably 10 mins walk. We preferred Turnham Green station as the walk there is past all the shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is split between 3/4 buildings (I think) with carparking space. On our first visit we were allocated a hugh room in the main building which was delightful. On this visit we were upgraded to a studio which was a lovely gesture from BW. However, I wish they had told us it was on the very top floor of a adjacent building with no lift access. I have a knee brace and getting up with a heavy suitcase was quite painful. The room we had was wonderful non the less. The room we had was beautifully set out with a large Queen bed, enormous amount of cupboard space. There was also microwave, cooker, fridge, ironing board and iron if we needed. The bathroom was wonderfully spacious with a full size walk in shower. As mentioned, the hotel is on the Chiswick High Road. We did not take the breakfast option due to the fact there are number of options in walking distance including Vegan/Vegetarian choice. Numerous bars and pubs also nearby. The hotel staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you. For some reason, our room keeping was missed from the schedule. Not a big deal as we were supplied with new towels and a bagful of tea/coffee and biscuits. We really do love this hotel and will be glad to return again in 2022. PS I gave value a score of 3 because I felt we paid above average price. However it does not deter me to visit again.

Hadn't heard of this place before coming, was very pleasantly surprised. My lucky day I had been upgraded to a studio which was recently built. Very modern look and nice finishing to the room, huge TV. Clean and modern bathroom. Big thank you to Sab who was excellent in helping me with my queries and answered my call late at night. Best customer service given at any hotel. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Excellent situation, close to underground and buses. Plenty of restaurants & bars within a few minutes walk. Staff excellent have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, great for couples wishing to explore London.

An absolute amazing place ! All the people who work there are as nice as can be. The hotel is well situated in a thriving street, very clean and safe. Would live there if I didn't have too much work on !

We only stayed for one night but the whole experience was very pleasant and positive . The staff were super friendly , the room was ample size with comfortable beds ( would have liked a more fluffy pillow but never mind), the shower was wonderful and overall I would recommend staying in the suite that we stayed in.

Couldn't fault this hotel for my overnight stay in London for business. Great location on the Chiswick High Road. All staff were polite and helpful and room was very clean and well-equipped. Good value for money in London. Only complaint was the coffee at breakfast. Avoid the cappaccino from the machine at breakfast. it's a shocker!. But an easy problem to fix and otherwise a great place to stay.

The service of the staff cannot be faulted. But the cleanliness of the hotel (stairs to the basement and corridors needed a vacuum), the drab decor and the fact the lift wasn't working did not set a good first impression. There was also a hairball on our windowsill and a discarded hairgrip on the dressing table! Although the rest of the room was OK. It wasn't worth complaining about as we were literally in the bedroom for about 4 hours after our big party, but we'd recommended our friends stay there too so it was a bit embarrassing. Was looking forward to a hotel breakfast though and it was so basic and dismal (croissants in packets!??!) that even the guy at reception recommend we go elsewhere!

I stayed with my daughter for 3 nights in BW, although the location is just perfect our experience was not pleasant. The mattress was horrible, super old and also the bed sheets. The room was smelly and the air conditioning was not working well. Looks like there is nobody taking care. It's a pity.

Location is great for West London and not far from M4. Room was a reasonable size and comfortable. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Only issue was the dust behind the bed. Didn't go looking for it but saw it when plugging in the phone charger.

The hotel staff were really friendly on arrival, our room was lovely, clean and had nice shower and comfy bed. If you're on a weekend break, this is the perfect place to stay, Chiswick is great too, there are loads of restaurants and you're only 40 mins from central London by tube or car.

Have stayed here previously and always been bit a bit quirky but ok, but on this occasion it was different. As I walked past the annex part of the hotel. I noticed families and individuals hanging around the grounds, with washed clothes drying on bushes and trees ! Bags of rubbish in the grounds and kids toys scattered around ? The area looked shabby as not seen previously when I had stayed here. Once back in my room and overlooking the back car park I had the window open, but could hear voices and looked to see a couple drinking beer, smoking and being quite load, they were there for hours. In the morning their rubbish was left all around where they had been. On return to my car in the morning someone had wrote their name on the dust on my car windows. Nothing like this had happened here previously. So I can only assume that their are guests housed in this hotel who are not business or tourist types !! Make your own mind up !

Grim premises, uncaring & unhelpful staff. Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would give this place any more than one star… if zero stars was an option that's what I'd be giving it. Avoid.

This is a really lovely hotel and very well placed on the high street. It's clean, smart and stylish. Great value for money too especially for a family room. Best of all: the customer service! Denzil and Soren were fantastic, especially with our lost property. Will stay here again

Extra guest- a mouse- caught on video. As yet no response from the hotel. Disgusted and disappointed! We were told on check out we would have one night refunded- not happened yet and quite frankly not good enough!

Excellent hotel, nice staff, nice area and reserved parking space , clean and central for Chiswick array of shops, bars and cafes and a short walk to tube to go into the city. The room was well equipt and had everything needed for a comfotable stay,

Stayed here for the night with grandchildren and family. Lovely affordable rooms, beds comfortable, checkin was a little delayed due to room being cleaned but the detail in cleaning was 5 star. Desk staff was amazing, very helpful and cheery. Parking at the rear of the hotel and plenty of amenities nearby. Tube station was only a 6/7 minute walk for the fit, easy to get to the museums which are only several stops away. Will go again if we get the chance.

This hotel is in an excellent location with just a short walk to the tube station to reach central London. We pre booked parking but there were plenty of spaces free when we arrived. Staff were friendly and hotel well kept. The only downside was our room was small and overlooked a vent so there was no natural light in the room. Despite this we would visit again and request a different room.

Having been offered a workable rate for a long stay. to include parking, I went along to have a look. Whilst the decor and setting is lovely, I was offered a very small single room. Then, the rates seem to increase which to my mind was a poor attempt to get more £ as we come out of the pandemic. Had a decent sized room been on offer with some better PR, I might have overlooked the otherwise unacceptable increase in the quote but once the trust is broken,,,,Anyway, I ended up in a lovelier place with better facilities for better rates. Definitely won't be bothering with this hotel again. Note I didn stay here so can't comment on the sleep quality, only the location, decor and service,

We stay at the Chiswick Best Western every year and I can highly recommend this place , hotel is clean and staff very helpful and friendly I can't wait to return next year , location is excellent to get into central london

We have used this hotel for a number of years and have seen changes to decor, accommodation, staff and procedures. The location suits our needs perfectly; we have family and friends nearby, and so the hotel is perfectly located for our needs. Good transport links ( tube and buses) take you to the city, other areas etc. Chiswick itself is a lovely spot and has all the shops, restaurants etc you may need for a weekend stay ( or longer).

Have stayed many times at this hotel, continues to provide a good quality service both value wise and experience wise. Hotel is located in central Chiswick with easy access to a range of good quality restaurants and cafes.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious considering COVID, and they were extremely helpful. I would certainly recommend and will be staying again.

Check in was smooth. Staff are behind Covid screens, plenty of hand gel. I didn't mind paying £10 for parking as it was right outside in the forecourt. I chose a single room, which was plenty of space for myself. Modern room and bathroom with plenty of amenities. The bed wasn't the comfiest of beds to sleep in and the wall at the side of the bed and the breadboard needed a wipe as stains were present. Good price for the stay.

I stayed here for 8 days. There was some major renovation work going on right next to the studio I was staying at. It was at times noisey but overall bearable. Because of the virus, we were given a grab and go breakfast bag which really can be your lunch and dinner bag too. Very generous. Due to some mix up, a very large parcel for me was delivered well before I arrived. The hotel willingly stored it for me and I am truly grateful for this. Overall the experience is really good and I enjoy my stay at the hotel. Would recommend it if you prefer not staying in Central London...

I don't feel that this hotel deserves the rating that it has...but maybe I just got a bad room. The hotel on entry is very clean and looks relatively newly renovated. They looked to be taking Covid seriously which was nice to see. The room felt a little worse for wear, the carpets were covered in stains and I didn't really feel like I wanted to remove my shoes. The bathroom was relatively new and felt clean. It was general very tired and could really do with a freshen up. Whilst the location is great for access to my office, unless the rooms change I don't think I will be back anytime soon.

Our room was spacious, bright and airy and very clean. We all slept well and the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the housekeeping staff on the Friday morning. The staff member gave us lots of extra towels and milk and couldn't have been more helpful. It's a shame I don't know her name. Thank you!

The staff are extremely helpful! Special notice for Suzan from the front desk, extremely helpful considering our circumstances and was so friendly whilst making us aware of the covid precautions the hotel was taking. Room was clean and me and my husband had a great sleep. The hotel is located to many local shops and restaurants and is only minutes away from central. Will definitely be staying here again!

We chose this hotel because we needed somewhere close to Chiswick House for an overnight stay after attending a concert. Apparently we were upgraded to a recently refurbished room so this might need to be taken into account when reading this review but, to be honest, the reception area, breakfast area, lift, stairs, corridors etc. were very up together and very clean. The staff, especially the Manager Soren Beck, were delightful - polite, helpful and attentive. Our room was great - two really comfortable double beds, 2 chairs, desk, table, tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was small but the shower was good - better than many hotels we've stayed in. There was an ironing room which I thought was very handy. Due to covid restrictions breakfast was in the form of a takeaway bag but we could sit and eat it in the dining area and it was more than adequate. There were lots of restaurants, pubs, shops nearby and the hotel has on site parking so it was a great location. If I needed to be in the area in the future I would definitely stay here again.

Booked a night stay to see my son after 6 mths due to lockdown & unfortunately prop shaft went on route from Cornwall. Miguel was so understanding & transferred our stay to the next night with no extra charge. Wonderful hotel with amazing staff, plus all COVID recommendations in place. Best shower EVER! Came to our rescue during the covid crisis and we were pleasantly suprised. Lovely sized room and bathroom Although there were no facilities open. Good supply of tea and coffee and biscuits.Modern decor and very welcoming . As it was a quiet tine due to coronovirus I cannot comment on how the hotel would be in a normal situation. But just from our short stay and what we observed I would recomend a stay here.

Words cannot describe this hotel and its staff! I stay here weekly and keep meaning to post the continual fantastic service. I use this hotel on a weekly basis and they just get better and better with never a fault to report. Special mentions to Karolina and Fatima for this weeks total flexibility! Then when my London clients opt for virtual and remote work this hotel gives me vouchers and hold my reservations open until I need them again! plenty of parking accessed by a very narrow entrance portal. was directed to the house next door which is kind of split up into apartment style rooms, but they were quiet and out of the way of everyone. no evening meals available. room was on the ground floor, with an odd layout, as soon as you open the door you have a step or 2 to climb, and the room was technically a family room with 2 singles and a double, but a family would be falling over each other. the bathroom was a joke, honestly as small as a caravan washroom, surely could have been designed better? breakfast was ok, check in/out ok, staff did not speak English as a first language so a little difficult communicating at times.

Not a very good service whatsoever. I will NOT be back here again and think people working here need to have some training in hospitality. I had a few issues which were not dealt with appropriately, verging on rudeness from one of the male managers.

I have never experienced such terrible hospitality - Denzil and Miguel (who are apparently managers) were unbelievably rude and insensitive and Miguel shouted at me so much to the extent I had to report him to head office. The way they treated an elderly lady was disgusting. Never go here!

We had booked a space in the car park and arrived to find Farah putting a bollard with our name on to reserve our space. You do have to pay for the car park which seems a bit mean but this is London and parking is at a premium. Miguel behind the reception desk was very helpful and good humoured - the staff were most attentive and friendly. The room was small but quite adequate for us, well decorated and clean. The en suite was sparkling clean with good quality toiletries. We had a ground floor room with a view of the main road but the double glazing kept the noise out. There are lots of restaurants within a five minute walk but our best meal was at The Roebuck pub almost opposite. Turnham Green tube station is a ten minute walk away and we were at the Albert Hall in no time it seemed. I have paid a lot more and stayed in far less attractive rooms. I would recommend Miguel and his team.

I really enjoyed my stay here. After some concerns about the service I would receive based on a phone call I made to the hotel prior to check in, I was pleasantly surprised and found everybody I encountered to be wonderful! My first room wasn't the greatest - it was in the basement with a bathroom the size of a postage stamp, but the staff happily moved my stuff to a new room for me on my second day. The new room was wonderful and very quiet. Breakfast was very good as well. Location was great! Outside the city enough for the price to be reasonable, but close enough that it was easy to get into central London. Quick walk to both bus and tube stations.

This is the third time I have stayed at the best western in Chiswick and, for the third time, I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside, the rooms clean and tidy and the staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right off the Chiswick high road with many shops, cafes, restaurants and boutique shops close-by. Turnham Green tube station is a 10 minute walk away and from there you can be in the centre of London within 10-15 minutes. One of the greatest bonuses of this hotel is the on-site parking. You can park securely in one of three car parks around the site and go off without the worries of driving in the city centre and extortionate parking charges. The hotel provides breakfast at an extra cost- this is buffet style and well worth the price and convenience. You can save a few pounds by paying for breakfast in advance when you book. There is lots of choice from cereals and fruit to full English and continental selections. Coffee, tea and fruit juices are also unlimited. The rooms vary depending on size but all are finished to a high standard, clean and warm. Every room comes with a hair dryer, USB ports, free WiFi and complimentary shampoo and shower gel. The towels are big and fluffy and the beds comfy. The staff are only too happy to help (including replacing toilet rolls at midnight) and are all friendly and welcoming. They have great local knowledge too and can point you in the right direction of the best local eateries or give advice if this is your first time visiting London. This will definitely not be my last visit to this hotel. I've not been able to find anywhere of the same quality and convenience for anywhere near the value for money.

the room was in a side building and absolutely awful. Very basic and worn. So overheated - in December- that we were desperate to get all windows opened which didn't work. This is 1 star ar best! Even the location does not make up for it.

A bit off the beaten track - a half hour by tube to central London - this place is worth it. It's clean, the staff are friendly, the prices reasonable, the buffet breakfast does the trick, and Chiswick is a delightful area in its own right to spend some time. If I'm lucky enough to return to London any time soon, I'd return to this place in a heartbeat. A shout out to both the front desk staff and cleaning staff.

Well located in West London. Short walk to Turnham Green tube station, we were in Central London within 20 minutes. Pleanty of bars and restaurants to cover all tastes within walking distance. Staff are always polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We stayed in one of the rooms at the back of the hotel, it was very quiet.

Stayed overnight before a business meeting. It's a very odd layout and if you arrive at the back it looks like a small B&B. But if you find the entrance on Chiswick HIgh Road it looks like a mansion house. I found the back entrance. There are a few parking places here, but more if you go round the front. From the back it's a narrow and dark passageway past a few small appartment blocks to the reception. Quite a walk with baggage. Reception staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Parking is EXTRA! Another £10 - didn't expect that. Hotel foyer is clean and bright and tidy. I'd asked for a quiet room and had one at the back- thank you. Nice and quiet. There's a lift which may help. But if you use the back stairs to reception beware - when I stayed there were a few v unpleasant 'stains' on the carpet and the carpets could do with a steam clean! Out of sight for most but not nice when you find them! The room was warm, well appointed and pretty clean. Bathroom with a shower, nice and lots of towels and toiletries - thank you. I found the toilet a bit tight next to the shower and I am not large! The bed was comfy but the pillows were just lumps of hard foam. Slept OK. Breakfast was a bit of a miss. Coffee machine that promised espresso but delivered strong instant? really? Buffet style and everything was DIY. The apple juice was fermenting. The fried eggs were SOLID. Only one side of the four slice toaster was working? Really? A four slice toaster in a restuarant? Hard to tell whether the mushrooms, hash browns had been cooked in vegetable oil? Would be SO nice if you could be bothered to label things please? Everything was warm, not hot. Wasn't worth the extra and wish I had just grabbed breakfast on the high street. Very mediocre and not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Shame.

We had a room in the annexe, which seemed a disappointment, but, actually, it was OK, very spacious, and with cooking facilities. Comfy bed(s) and new toilet/shower. Attentive staff, so all round, they did well.

Loved the hotel for a lot of reasons. Great location close the public transport and nice area with restaurant, the style of the interior and rooms, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Will be back here for sure!

A warm welcome from all the staff at Best Western makes a positive impression. Check in was swift; staff were efficient and very professional. The hotel is located on Chiswick High Road, in close proximity to the range of shops, eateries etc. It is a short walk to Turnham Tubs station, with direct links into central London. The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated; there is adequate storage space. The self service breakfast offers a range of juices, cereals, hot food and beverages. At the rear of the hotel, there are a number of parking spaces available - pre bookable and pre payable. We have used this hotel on a number of occasions, over a number of years - highly recommended.

We stayed here as opposed to staying in Hammersmith for a gig at the Apollo. So glad we did, as everything was perfect, we stayed in a building next door to the main hotel. All of the inside of the building they had acquired was brand new and spotlessly clean. A twin room with two single beds was just what we wanted and I would recommend staying here if you are going to a gig. The walk to the Apollo passes lots of places to eat or drink and takes around 20 mins walk. Great staff and I will be back!

Very good location very nice place easy to get around places everything's nearby and the staff was so friendly n Richard was very nice and helpful and giving out advice and places to go around and how to get there cheap and efficiently. Pulled up outside which is where googlemaps took me - squeezed the car on the front of what looked like a town house (thinking it was a tiny place!). I wondered around outside trying to find reception by following the signs that just pointed behind said town house. Evenutually asked another guest for directions which was out the back (to what looked like a seperate business) and found the car park and the main building. The town house building appeared to be the suites. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I managed to move the car and squeeze and into the main place - the drive way is possibly the tightest driveway ive even driven on, so take your time! Parking is very very tight and i ended up moving the car around the car park at least twice to try and make it easier to get out of when i actually left (i left the car there for 2 nights. If you can book, you might want to as no one, it seems; can actually park in the 'spaces' provided. Breakfast was OK and as expected, nothing particulalry exciting. Big strange sitting in reception eating, but it is what it is. My room was in the loft space, so a slanted ceiling and velux window only which wasnt double glazed so quite loud. I had to sleep with it open as the AC wasnt very good and didnt cool the room. The power switches off when you remove your key card so cant leave it on to keep it cool during the day. Bathroom also quite small, literally all the basics squeezed into a small room, but it was OK. So only a few 'cons': 1) reception directional signage is poor outside with the silver signage appearing invisible at night. 2) parking is very tight given London. 3) room AC was poor 4) no ironing board in the room (in this day-and-age?!) Pros: 1) breakfast was OK 2) staff very friendly 3) room cleanliness was good

This was my the third hotel stayed in a week and the best. The hotel has on site parking which used to be free but now they make a charge, it wasn't an issue as it is very good to be able to park in London. Check in was quick and very friendly, Soren the Deputy Manager even carried my bag to my room. My room was in one of the buildings across the car park, clean, warm and above all quiet. Very clean bathroom with a powerful hit shower. The hotel doesn't do food in the evening but there are plenty of restaurants in the area, I recommend the Buenos Aires steak house. Breakfast is buffet style with a very good choice and good quality. Best sleep that I had had all week and a good breakfast !

Very comfortable stay in excellent location close to all Chiswick has to offer. Room was warm and bright, bed very comfortable and TV positioned nicely at end of bed. Cleaning staff in regularly, en-suite very clean and modern however light for shaving not great. Handy to both tube stations and bus routes lots of bars and restaurants close by so didn't use hotel facilities.

An excellent centrally located clean hotel with pleasant front of house staff and close walk to the tube for links into central London. Located on Chiswick high street a short walk from lots of upmarket pubs and restaurants. Booking early is normally expensive, take a risk and leave it until later for much better deals. avoid rooms at the front of the building if you want to avoid road noise.

I emailed ahead to say I would arrive earlier than the advertised check-in time. The staff replied to say that would try to accommodate me, and when I arrived informed me the room was ready. I also asked if they would accept a parcel delivered on my behalf, and this they did. Soren and particularly the lady with him at reception when I arrived were very welcoming. She also helped me with directions and transport enquiries. During my short stay all the staff had ready smiles and this makes for a very nice atmosphere. The room was very clean. The breakfast very tasty and surroundings pleasant. I would choose the hotel again without hesitation.

All the staff at this great Best Western Palace Hotel are fantastic, friendly, helpful and all smiles.the hotel is clean and well managed. It is very well located to the cafes and restaurants in Chiswick as well as a nice comfortable walk to the tube. It is highly recommended and certainly worth a try.

We also booked 2 nights and didn't need the second night ,on our email it said cancel with in 48 hours notice!!! Also told the email was a mistake and no refunds !! So I phoned the Best Western help line and he cancelled the booking and did me a single night The hotel phoned me in a big strop to say I don't know how you did that well turns out it was a flexible booking and could be cancelled. I was also changed for parking......they don't charge they told me at the front desk for parking something fishy there !!! Did not have breakfast as Gails looked way more exciting. So beware of booking direct it does not pay ! Room clean but very noisy and compact Room 123 faces the road a very nasty experience in all !

Don't be fooled by word Palace in the title , nor by the pictures if you're booking a double room. The pictures are of the king size . The double room is tiny and would be very cramped for 2 people. £126.00 for a mid week November night for one, is very expensive. The hotel is very very noisy in spite of asking for a quiet room. You can hear everything next door. I appreciate it's a converted building. The positives are overall cleanliness and courtesy drinks machine in reception plus reception staff were polite. Good shower Breakfast was a good range but very disconcerting having two members of staff either walking around me and seemingly constantly looking over at me . I felt I had done something wrong ! Couldn't wait to get out of there

Travelling for Business I usually stay in BW Chiswick Palace and Suites as it is located most convenient to my office and London transport conncetions in general (bus, tube). Extremely friendly staff and perfectly functional equipment for working in your room .. and for sleeping well. Perfectly clean bathroom, free coffee/tea and very good bed.

I stayed here for two nights as it was very convenient for work. So perfect location for me. Friendly staff. I booked a single room so it was outside of the main building, which meant a walk outside to get to a room that was in a basement location. Not ideal as it didn't describe it that way in the booking, but actually it was very comfortable and felt secure. I didn't try breakfast so I can't comment on that.

Very disappointing experience. The photos do not look anything like the reality. Having often used Best Western hotels (always with good experience), I was sorely disappointed with this location. To make matters worse, management were utterly indifferent to my concerns.

We must have had their worst room. Nothing like the pictures. Small corner bed up a narrow flight of stairs. Way to small for two people with luggage. The room was not what we asked for. Staff was indifferent about it. Our plans changed while we were there and had to check out a day early. For the first time ever, I was refused a refund for the time not used. We gave them 48 hours notice! And checked out before check out a day early. Clerk was rude and said we reserved it for five days and we were going to pay for 5 days no matter what Did have a good breakfast

A perfect, efficient experience. Kind staff, clean hotel, lovely rooms, good value, great breakfast, good wifi, good location. Most of all though the staff were attentive, friendly, well mannered, helpful and assisted me with my trip.

I have been staying here on and off for 5 years and I must say it is the best hotel I have stayed in in London. Staff are especially friendly and attentive soecial thanks to Soren, Alston and Miguel who cannot do enough for you. You are made to feel like you are staying in a home from home. Location is excellent in Chiswick good parking and very close to tube and restaurants Rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy and offer excellent value for money. Very relaxed professional and homely ambience. Would highly recommend!

Rooms are great, I prefer ground floor. Local amenities and restaurants very handy as is "the tube" into town. All pretty much as you would expect/hope for, but it is the people that make this place so special. Nothing seems too much trouble for these guys and girls. Arrive early and your room is put onto priority to get you in ASAP. None of this "you need to wait until check in time". All of the staff are friendly and helpful and between them they make my frequent business trips feel more like leisure breaks. This trip special thanks to Karolina Alston and Miguel on the font desk for there helpfulness and very warm welcome back to the hotel. If you like the inner city "bed factories," fine but for me, I enjoy being treated as a welcome guest and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

I stayed there for an extended time with my elderly parents and have had the best that hospitality could offer. It wasnt luxury but it was completely heartfelt service which went all out to make sure that the guests had the best ,that the staff could offer. Absolutely bowled over by their helpful attitude of service with a smile. Special mention of Mr Miguel and Mr Soren at the front desk.... they were the best in ensuring we had a great stay

So, nothing but breakfast onsite. Arrived in the ate afternoon, asked if there were any decent restaurants nearby and answered with 'just go outside and look'. Thanks for that, I can do that but wondered if you had any local knowledge... obviously not. We won't be staying again, rooms are clean and comfortable, desk staff on the whole (apart from the above) are welcoming and helpful, but I dont think they talk to each other when they change shifts. You can do better in the area for approximately the same price.

Great spot to stay if you are visiting West London with the added bonus of parking and great value for money. Decor has been recently updated and is very good. Only criticism is that room was too warm but open windows solved that.

Our hotel room was definitely better and bigger than expected. A lot of shops close by to grab groceries or a bit to eat. Also a close walk to the station. Just had an issue with our booking prior to arriving. I thought I booked in an extra night at one price but turns out it wasn't booked in so ended up paying a lot more than expected which we weren't super pleased about, other than that it was a nice stay.

I don't know where to start regarding my stay in this dreadful hotel. Dreadful because of the staff who just couldn't give a damn. First of all, we had booked a suite with a double bed and 2 single beds. Instead we were given a room with 2 double beds. The room was so cramped, we just couldn't move. They wouldn't give us the room we booked as they were fully booked! Every single key card we were given worked once, and then had to be reprogrammed. The lock on the bathroom door broke, and we couldn't get into the bathroom at 02.00. We went to report at reception that we couldn't use the bathroom, and we were told that as it was Sunday, they couldn't call anyone out to fix it. A 100 room hotel doesn't have a handyman on 24 hour call????? We insisted that they call someone, which they eventually did. We had gone back to our room, when the handyman came and we asked him to wait until we had finished in our room. He told us that he had to fix the door now as he "had come in especially to fix the lock"! We later found out that there was a handyman who lived on the hotel premises!?! We also had problems connecting to the wifi. Breakfast was dreadful with little choice. The staff didn't come and clear dirty plates, and worst of all was one of the staff members helping herself to a danish pastry, and eating it with her, fingers in the dining room while chatting to the other staff

Nice room but a lot of traffic outside the window. The TV and the aircondition did not work but they changed batteries so the TV worked. STONE HARD beds! We could not sleep much the first two nights and during the days our bodys hurt and we were tired. We had payed a lot of money for a nice vacation but this was partly destroyed because of the beds. Even though I complained nothing happened. Newly renovated and nice bathroom. The staff were not very helpful or friendly, they just did their job and nothing more. I found a very very drunk man outside on the street but the night staff "could not call the police".... The breakfast was ok but nothing special. Not much to choose from and very ordinary.

A very good, clean, friendly hotel at a very reasonable price, reasonable for London that is. The breakfast was very good. The receptionist on arrival was very helpful. Good free wifi. At breakfast there were a wide range of tourists with kids who looked very happy. Will be back.

A really good choice for a night in town. Great location, clean and modern rooms. (Looks a bit average from outside). Good value breakfast. Couldn't fault it for the price paid. Glad I booked it and I will be back!

What an excellent place to stay.room was a suite and was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast choices were good to.full english or continental was available. There was free parking.only down side was the entrance to the car park which is on a busy junction. I would recommend this accommodation.

Value for money rules here. This hotel is at the beginning of Chiswick High Street. It was cosy and comfortable. The bed was just right and the room very clean and tidy. If you need somewhere to stay in the West London area check this place out.

The hotel was in Chiswick, a nice area in London. Lots of resaturants, shops and pubs and a quick acces with the underground to the centre of London. The hotel offers private parking space just behind the hotel. The rooms are nice with good beds. The breakfast is very complete. Good Spot!

Best Western Palace and Suites in Chiswick is a very comfortable, well maintained property. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are always friendly and helpful. This is the second time we have stayed there and we would always book there agai. The Stamford Brook tube station is 5 minutes walk away and also the buses are close by. There are plenty of choices to eat in Chiswick High Road and an array of individual shops plus several parks. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

we had booked the appartment, thinking it would give us more space. It was spacious with 2 king beds, which were very comfortable. The kitchenette had clearly not been wiped down properly, prints all over the glossy front. And what is the point in a sink and dish washing facility if not providing a tea towel? I read in the in-room folder that an iron and iron board could be requested for the room but when I asked for one I was politely told to go and use the iron room. Not impressed. Even less impressed when I said there was no iron in our room and the receptionist felt the need to ask housekeeping if there is one in the room, depsite me standing there and telling him that there wasn't one! The bathroom was VERY small and if the room, which can accomodate 4 adults was at capacity, then that bathroom would be problematic. Also not the cleanest bathroom.

This was a lovely little hotel, our twin room was relatively spacious and modern. Only downside I would say is that the bed was very firm and the pillows hard so it did not make for a very comfortable nights sleep. That aside, there was no telephone in the room to contact reception but that was only a minor issue. Would definitely stay again.

When we travel, I normally book two regular rooms - one for my wife and I, and another for our two teenage daughters, however this seemed plenty spacious, with three beds, a couch, and a seating area. Unfortunately the actual family room that we were provided, (Room 51), is nothing like what is pictured and is severely cramped. In fact, when I spoke to a representative at the front desk, (Mauricio – who was a nice guy), he acknowledged that the picture is incorrect and actually shows one of their studio rooms. He did not, however, offer to move us or provide another room, but he did offer to let me speak with the regional manager in the morning. The stay in the room was terrible. It was not even a real hotel room. A good portion of the rooms at this property are apparently more like a guest house, where they've refurbished a rickety old building nearby and converted it to “rooms.” You actually have to walk outside through the back door of the main hotel, through a courtyard, and down an alley way to get to this other building. In our room, the bathroom was ridiculously small and very uncomfortable. The knob was also broken so the door wouldn't stay shut. The double bed was in an odd cubby area with a slanted ceiling, jammed up against the wall such that if one person wanted to get up, they had to crawl across the other. Most notably, in this room, you hear every sound of other people opening and closing the entrance/exit door, going up and down nearby stairs, walking around in the room above you, turning on/off water, using the shower, and flushing the toilet. You also hear a lot of street noise, and there are frequent police sirens. The next morning, I tried three times to speak with the manager, but he never showed up or refused to meet with me - one of the two. Mauricio did say the manager authorized him to take 25 GDP off of our one night bill of 225 GDP. I told him I wanted a full refund for the inaccurate/deceptive photos and the fact that it was not a proper hotel room. He said the best he could do was 30 GDP, that they were “already losing money” with this offer, and that “it was not the hotel's fault” because they do not control the photos on the webpage. When I got back to the US, I called Best Western's customer service number and explained the situation and reiterated my desire for a full refund. They asked for pictures, (I sent them many of the ones I've included here), and they said they'd get back to me within 5 business days. After 7 business days with no word, (11 calendar days), I reached out to them and asked for an update. I had noticed that during the that time, the family room photos on the Best Western UK website had been changed to be slightly more reflective of what they actually provide. (They still choose not to show the awful guest house room). I noted in my follow-up that I took this change of photos as confirmation that the original photo was misleading, which was why I was asking for a refund. The next day I received a response saying that Best Western had been in contact with this Chiswick branch, that the branch had requested the change to the photo, but that Best Western would be “standing by” the mere 30 GDP refund for “this inconvenience” due to the fact that “the amenities were still used at the hotel” and that I did stay my “full stay,” (which again, for the record was one night). I sent a message back pointing out that, 1) I had no choice by to stay as it was July in London, and were would a family of four find a room without a booking, and 2) the heart of my complaint is that the amenities of which they speak were not as shown. I would NOT have chosen to “use the amenities” or stay at the hotel had they been properly pictured or described. When one books a stay at a hotel, particularly from a recognized brand such as Best Western, they expect a typical hotel room. What we were provided not only failed to match the photos on the webpage, but was not even a real hotel room - it was an odd, noisy, uncomfortable space in the basement of a building, repurposed to serve as lodging. In short, I made a decision to stay at this hotel based on the photos and description provided, and everyone involved admits that these were inaccurate. Instead of staying at another property much closer to Heathrow airport, I paid $70 USD for a cab ride to this Best Western facility so that my family and I could enjoy what was supposed to be a spacious family room and a nice evening in the surrounding area. Instead we were uncomfortable, frustrated, and got little sleep before a 10 hour plane ride the next day. As it stands, I feel completely deceived by this hotel in Chiswick, and I am frustrated with Best Western as an organization for standing by the hotel's insufficient refund of 30 GBP. We still paid over 195 GDP, or about $245 USD, for this terrible experience. In the end, instead of making right what they have admitted was an error on their part, it appears they are going to behave in a cowardly, unscrupulous manner by denying my reasonable request for a refund and ignoring my further correspondence. The only recourse I have at this point is to share the details of my experience and encourage all who read this to take their business elsewhere. This is not a proper hotel.

Couldn't fault it, great value for london. I have stayed in shoddy hotels in london, paid by work, which were 4 times the price of this. Very clean, spacious room, good air conditioning. 10 mins from tube, almost direct tube to heathrow - one change but don't even have to change platform. Ill definitely stay again.

When we came down to London to visit my son and his family we always stay in the Premier Inn of Hammersmith because of its location. This time the Premier Inn was either fully booked or charged at £150 per night during our proposed dates. We are therefore looking for alternative and discover the Best Western Chiswick Palace and Suites with Hotels.com. It is such a great find. Not only we are paying less than £90 per night, the facilities inside our room are so much better. The toiletries are better, room size is more spacious and you have a safety deposit box inside the room. Hotel reception and the restaurant are nice and comfortable. I would have no reservation to come back again. It is also within walking distance from Stamford Brook tube station.

Having stayed here before we were disappointed to be given a tiny room with inadequate bathroom. Since returning home, the issue has been attended to by the general manager which is a satisfactory result. I can recommend this hotel, just not room 206. The location is good and the hotel is very clean and tidy.

The hotel is ideally situated for the local amenities, and transport links. There are excellent parking facilities. The hotel staff are most helpful and welcoming and are a credit to the hotel. All in all, would suggest this is a very good hotel.

Good location, good price, real english breakfast, fresh fruits, helpful staff, confortable beds. Only with early breakfast shoul be improved - not prepared at all:). Helpfull staff with taxi to airport

Stayed here in the family room. Very nice and quiet rooms and great breakfast. Tube station very close by (district line and circle line) and so is the number 94 bus which takes you right into Piccadilly and Covent Garden through Hyde Park area. Only downfall was an extremely small bathroom .

We stayed for 5 nights as a central location that was good for our needs. Check in was fast and easy. All the staff were friendly and could not help enough. The room was a good size and very clean. The bathroom was clean, but a little small, but you don't need to live in there lol. The bed was comfortable and the pillows good. The English breakfast was very good with a number of choices. Once again, the staff were great and friendly. The location is very good, within 10 minutes walk to 2 train stations, lots of shops and restaurants close and handy. Will stay again next time in London.

Having received an excellent room and service last year we returned for a 3 day trip to mark a special occasion in London. Sadly the first room was more suitable for single occupancy which meant we were unable to check in and had to wait 3 hours, which as we were out for the remainder of the day meant it was 11pm when we got to our room. Although slightly larger than the first, it had no windows facing outside and no natural daylight or air. The air conditioning was so noisy we could not keep it on and the room was extremely hot. The quilt was a king size squashed into a double and far to thick for the time of year. The bathroom was clean apart from the shelves which were very dirty. The location is good for access to London and good to have a car park.

The hotel was excellent & the staff were just as good. I don't have a bad thing to say about the place. Thank you for an excellent stay. The food was great & the room was massive....2 king sized beds!!! My partner & I both slept starfish!!

Factoring in price, location, facilities and cleanliness this is now on the top of my London hotel list. Beyond those criteria, the people at this hotel are incredibly helpful, they will do everything possible to be responsive to your needs and requests. With regard to location it is an easy and quick walk to the underground (tube), and ample wonderful restaurants are within easy walking distance. The buffet breakfast was high quality and had good variety. My only negative is that the room did not have a bathtub - only a shower.

Good sized room, the hotels in a good location too. The tv was too small and the WiFi was unusably slow and intermittent which was a shame. Hotel is very tired and the basement room my colleague had did not have wifi or phone signal!

We really enjoyed staying here. Soren was especially enthusiastic in his delivery of his excellent customer service. We look forward to staying here again! The room was very comfortable and larger than we had expected for London. Just a few minutes walk to the nearest tube station and a short walk to the Thames.

Pretty good place, good service. The walk to the tube ended up being a bit long. I wished the rom had a refrigerator, every drink ended up hot and not that good to drink. The cleaning could have been better, felt halfway cleaned sometimes.

The hotel is in a central position for west London, near to a tube station. The room was all good , small but nicely done out and clean and fresh. We paid extra for a kingsize bed and definitely worth paying that little extra as I would imagine the double rooms to be very small. Look at other pictures of the rooms other than the main one on here and booking sites as that is I am guessing a picture of the best room in the hotel and you are sort of expecting it to look like that and ours didn't. (unless you have booked that room of course). Breakfast was excellent , tasty , so much choice , all very fresh and being topped up regularly. The man of reception deserves a mention as he was welcoming and friendly . I would certainly use this hotel again.

Hotel was in a great location for trips into Central London tube stations very close by and bus stops outside the door, Rooms very modern and clean with staff very helpful and friendly. Also parking quite a rare thing in London. Plenty of local restaurants for good quality food.

I stay about 200 nights per year in hotels, some of which are in the Best Western Group. I have had some not-so-great experiences with this group of hotels in the past, but this time it was great. Especially Soren made it memorable - he made me believe in the Best Western hotels again. Very friendly and helpful. I LOVED the outside ground floor room with a sliding door that could open. I could hear the birds every morning, which was great. Great towels and loved the heated towel rail. Nice and quiet room.

The room was a bit small but very clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. there are lot's of amenities and bars/restaurants close by. For a few nights business trip I can't fault the hotel.

Normal best western style of hotel - good location, nice building and reception area but rooms a little dated and in need of TLC. No bar area to speak of and drinks available from a fridge behind the bar served by receptionist. Several nice pubs in the area walkable to however, just turn left out for the hotel and you can find them. No one eating dinner so deliveroo available from multiple takeaways or domino pizza 2 minute walk away was my choice. Limited parking available on 2 sides of the hotel

My wife and I stayed in this hotel from 17 to 20 May 2019. We stayed there last year. It is very nice hotel. This time we had breakfast which was very good. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only downside this time was we were in room 505 which was in basement and does have very small window but does not look out on anything other than roof fixtures. The bathroom is very small (sitting on toilet my right knee was right up against door frame and when you come out of shower you need to come into the room to dry your back. I am only 5 feet 11 inches and slim) Would come back to this hotel but would not have basement room. Don't know if they put us here as we had to cancel in December 2018 and move to May 2019 as I was in hospital. We still had to pay money for the change.

Arrived to be given a basement room with walls blistering and paint peeling from the wall, the receptionist was very helpful and offered us another room. This one had a double bed against the wall so to go to the loo in the night it was a climb over as the dressing table was at the foot of the bed. We felt we had been moved once so couldn't complain again. Both rooms had badly stained carpets. Staff were helpful, we were just very disappointed

Immaculate and well maintained. Parking. Convenient for local shops/restaurants and close to tube station. Rooms are modern and bright, with a range of facilities right up to fully self-contained. Very convenient for Chiswick and SouthWest London.

We stay at this hotel every time we come to London which is usually 2 or 3 times a year. Very welcoming staff always feel at home. Rooms spotless. Breakfast is great. Very relaxed atmosphere and always someone on reception to help you if you need it.

We keep returning the the Chiswick Palace and Suits. We find the location is just right for us, and the Hotel facilities are clean and comfortable. The staff are always extremely courteous and professional.

Only staying for one night while I visited London and often when you book cheaper places for one night they can be quite disappointing or the typical budget. However I was impressed with location - close to restaurants etc and was really well decorated inside with cool service from all .

We stayed here at the weekend while we went to Twickenham for the Army and Navy game. The staff were friendly and had knowledge of the area and local transport. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, well done to the housekeeping team. Lovely breakfast and plenty to choose from. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great time

We stayed in this hotel in order to go to a concert at the nearby Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. We drove into London from the North-West of England so it was essential that the hotel had parking facilities. The parking was free, though I was told that I'd need to pay a £12 parking space reservation fee to be sure. On arrival, however, I was told that the reservation fee was not necessary as it was a Sunday and there were plenty of spare spaces, which there was, but waiving the fee was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was very easy to get to as it's just off the M4 (and doesn't cross the congestion charging zone) and while it isn't the closest accommodation to the Eventim Apollo, it seems to be just about the closest with good parking, and it's right on the main road through Chiswick and into Hammersmith so it's an easy walk of less than 1.2 miles past a huge variety of restaurants, plus there's a regular bus service if you don't fancy the walk. I believe that there's also nearby access to tube stations if you want to travel elsewhere in London. The hotel reception is very nicely presented and we were offered a room upgrade to a suite on arrival. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room itself was very well appointed, with two king-size beds, clean, modern furnishing and even a very nice kitchenette with hob, oven, refrigerator, cutlery and crockery, etc. Breakfast was excellent with a full range of both continental and English options. The hot food was freshly prepared and everything was of the highest quality, including the coffee - I sampled a bit of everything as I had a long drive home! Parking spaces are provided at both the front of the hotel (limited) with most of them at the rear of the hotel and accessible via a private entrance, so reasonably secure. Overall, this was a really nice hotel which was great value for money, very conveniently located with excellent on-site parking. I've stayed in many hotels in London and this was definitely one of the best ones - I wouldn't hesitate to use this one again, especially if I need to drive into London.

Stayed overnight, great location close to Heathrow but easy to get into London City. If you do not want to go into town lovely to walk to Chiswick House and Gardens and browse the local antique shops. Rooms clean and fresh if a little on the small side. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Great to have luggage storage. Would definitely recommend.

Check in and check out were extremely efficient and pleasant. We had a family room and it was quite nicely laid out with separate areas for the different beds. The shower room was tiny and a bit of squeeze but did the job. The breakfast was really good - plenty of different choices and always somewhere to sit, despite it being well-frequented. The staff were always good. The location is great, the cleanliness was obvious. No complaints.

If you are after friendly yet extremely professional staff. Look no further. Of all of the family trips to London, this has been the most relaxed stay. Nothing was ever a problem. Family rooms spotless, tasty breakfast along with excellent parking make it our future choice when returning to the capital. The location is lovely And the nearby tube station at Turnham Green gives short tube ride into oxford street. The front of desk staff to the service staff deserve a big pat on the back. They were great ambassadors to the organisation and London. Special mention to Soren, Miguel, Mahdi and Alston. Outstanding.

Having stayed here last year it was top of our list when looking for accommodation for another trip to London, and once again we were not disappointed. Parking is available at the rear of the property through a narrow archway and leaving your car there whilst taking the tube into London is not a problem. Our room this time was on the first floor in the main building (accessible via stairs or lift/elevator) and was very clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable leading to a very relaxing sleep, the bathroom was spacious with a decent shower. The rom also provided the usual tea/coffee facilities, TV, wardrobe and also a small safe to stash your valuables. As previously stated, the location for this establishment is brilliant. A short walk to the tube station at Turnham Green allows a swift trip into London and back, and the cost capped at £4.80, is exceptional value. If you're looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting London, this is the place. It's outside the congestion zone, easily accessible and brilliant value, YES we will be back to stay here again.

Tried this hotel twice - big mistake both times. 1st time the heater wasn't working and I froze until they brought me a nosiy heater with a fan - but at least it was a heater. The 2nd time, the room was tiny - no room for me to even unfold my suitcase. I would suggest staying anywhere in the area but here.

The Chiswick is a very quaint town. I wish we would have had more time there. It is close to the train station. Rooms were nice,staff very friendly. Charge for breakfast ( which we did not realize). We traveled in March 2018

Best Western are known to be a quality hotel chain and this hotel is no different. The room amenities are as expected. There is an excellent spread for breakfast. Friendly staff and it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube station. Sainsbury's Local is only across the road.

Very clean, friendly staff, plush style. Well-lit area to have drinks in the day, or night. Close walk to lots of restaurants and near central London if you were wanting to venture out! Parking available and felt safe. Thank you

It was in a lovely village with a lot of restaurants and bars around. Underground is close to the hotel and got a direct train to London city centre. The staff members were kind and very enthusiastic when we arrived. We had a lovely stay

We had an enjoyable stay overnight. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Paying an extra for parking was particularly helpful and competitively priced against London Car Parks. Breakfast was excellent and value overall also very good in particular for London.

As usual this hotel is perfect, clean rooms and great customer service. Have stayed at this hotel numerous times on visits to London over the years, location is great and always greeted with a warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

This is my go to place to stay - I travel for business and this hotel is perfect for my Monday night stay! I have stayed here over 10 times in the last year. The hotel is clean, rooms are good and staff excellent (Thanks to Alston who provides great customer service !) It is in an great location, near excellent restaurants (I always eat at Hare and Tortoise or Tosa) and tube is less than 10 mins walk. Highly recommended in terms of value for money

Hola Adventurers So I was in London on business but my usual place was fully booked. Our office manager booked me into here as a last resort... Location is great at the foot of Chiswick, but that's as far as it gets. The room...cell I was put in has to be some sort of health and safety hazard, the room had a strong smell of cigarettes and every shelf was dirty or sticky...iv attaches some photographs of the room and condition...enjoyed being kept up by staff constantly talking outside the “window”...in the morning as they set up for breakfast I got to enjoy the clattering and dragging of furniture above. I would not recommend this to anyone specially at £160 a night (that's what my company paid for my discomfort at this place). Best Western?!! Terrible...nasty paint pealing of units as well...the staff were second grade which didn't help the cause, but didn't surprise me. I will never return. And I'll tell everyone how bad this is and expensive...Premier Inn £90 a night and much better condition and they don't stick you in a basement. All the floor tiles in public corridors...what a bad design idea...echos any noise. Ok rant over...don't stay here if you value your hard earned money.

Everything was just perfect. The hotel is in a good location with lots of shops, cafes, supermarkets, restaurants. There are several bus stops and a tube station near the hotel. You can get to the city center in about 20-30 minutes. Our room was clean and modern. We really appreciated the jug kettle with cups, coffee, tea and biscuits. When we come back to London, we will stay at this hotel again.

The staff is really kind and helpful. I reserved a parking spot the day before checking in, and that wasn't an issue. The place is spotless, extra clean. It has a refreshing vibe to it. The shower room was really what I expect in terms of cleanliness 5/5! Comfy bed, good natural lighting. Really happy and will go again for business and leisure as it's only a 5 min walk to the tube station.

This was my second stay here,having been so impressed the first time. Working in Chiswick with early start time meant I needed to be close by,without the need of the car. So finding somewhere to stay that was reasonable,clean and ideally located was great. Staff were very helpful and smiley, the room even though it was a single was well presented and seemingly only recently furnished. A quality room and the restaurant looked nice even though I didn't eat. Great location for trips into the centre of london too as the tube isn't far.

We stayed here for one night. On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded from a double to a triple room, however the room was immediately off the entrance hall, next to the front door and toilets. The room itself was clean and presentable, however it had a large single-glazed bay window overlooking Chiswick High Street. The result was that we barely slept all night with noise from the street and guests coming and going.

Only downside was being sent to the ‘annexe' which made you feel a bit cut off from the hotel in the rain. I expect noise in hotels, especially in busy locations and over all it was quiet. Unfortunately, the corridor outside my room was not carpeted and therefore extremely noisy whenever someone walked within metres of it. The room would have been cramped with two people, but it was fine for just me!

Attend a conference there - clean, modern hotel, very friendly welcome, attentive staff - couldn't have done more for us, facilities clearly explained, classy decor. Some delegates stayed over night and were very happy with their rooms. Excellent conference space.

Words cannot describe this hotel and its staff! I stay here weekly and keep meaning to post this review but keep forgetting! Perfectly placed within a 2 min walk to Turnham Green tube, an abundance of eateries opposite and car park space in London which is free to residence! The room was a bit small for four people, but we managed. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good, although I hoped for a wider choice. Very nice building.

We have stayed in many Best Westerns but this one was, to put it frankly, poor. On check in the receptionist wasn't particularly welcoming. We had booked a family room as we were attending a wedding, so we only needed the room for sleeping in, but you could not swing a cat in it, particularly in the bathroom. There was nowhere for us to hang our towels once used, so we ended up with them draped over all the doors. The room should be a double room with a bigger bathroom, not a family room. One of the single mattresses was dipping in the middle . The floor was not clean and it looked as though it had not been vacuumed by the side of the bed for a long time. Probably the worst thing was that as the room was situated on the lower ground floor, both mornings we were woken up by people thumping about above us from 5 am, getting the breakfast service ready. The room had a tiny window at street level meaning very little natural light.

We stayed here last evening, the staff were helpful regarding parking and at the check in process, however the only coffee available was from a machine in the reception area, although free it was also tasteless, even if having to pay for a decent coffee it would have been worth while. The room was ok, small but clean we reserved a room with a King Size bed, but only to find out annoyingly it was 2 single almost connected together, and again needless to say where the join was it was uncomfortable. We had room 110 and somewhere either in the hotel or maybe close, loud music was annoyingly being played, when asking the reception staff, they say they checked and it was not in the hotel, so perhaps ungraded double glazing would be a good investment ? If back in the area, we will be staying in another hotel.

Very basic hotel. The room was very small despite booking a king size and it was FAR too hot ! Couldn't turn the radiator off. Couldn't open the window further than a few inches. Had to turn the air conditioning on in the end. Didn't sleep all night. The bed was hard and we booked a 'king size' only to find out it was two singles pushed together (single beds are not as long as a king size bed and we are tall people). The duvet was far too small and the pillows were too large and firm. The shower changed temperature when someone, somewhere else turned on a tap. Couldn't turn the lights around the mirror off - so light on all night. Breakfast - no dedicated restaurant – a few tables and chairs set up in the foyer and overflowed into a small conservatory. People waiting for tables. - no provision for vegetarians, even though I rang a week before our stay before to ask, just had to choose appropriate items from limited buffet, which ran out quickly. How difficult is it to keep some vegetarian sausages in the freezer ? Breakfast was chaotic – not many tables, all very cramped and buffet ran out quickly – people were standing waiting for food. Breakfast was served between 7 and 10am. At 10.08am the staff were vacuuming the floor and in the process scraping the legs of the tables and chairs on the floor around us, whilst we were still eating breakfast. They then mopped the floor with strong smelling disinfectant whilst we were eating and no word of apology when we complained. In the quest to gobble down our breakfast to get out of this area quickly, we asked if we could sit in a lounge area whilst we ordered and waited for our taxi, only to be told there was no lounge only a sofa in the hallway. The only good thing that I can say is that the staff on reception when we arrived were very helpful and friendly, the towels were big enough to wrap around you and the scrambled eggs were lovely. However overall it was not a good experience and we will not stay there again,

As other people have pointed out this is a excellent hotel with friendly staff in a great location in west london. I stay here a lot...However its quirk is that owing to it being several properties joined together plus a couple of annexes the rooms are of greatly varying size. A couple in the annex are huge and likewise a couple in the same building basement are small to put it mildly. Ringing to ask for a large room away from the main road pays dividends. Also the parking at the rear of the hotel has a very tight entrance which requires caution and confidence to navigate, paint scrapes tell their own story.

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions as I regularly visit London. The hotel is one of the best I have stayed in for comfort, value for money and exceptionally courteous staff. Breakfast is excellent everything cooked freshly and constantly replenished so the food remains piping hot. Great selection of fruit and pastries as well. A lovely touch and so convenient is the coffee/tea making facility in the foyer where you can make a hot drink 24/7. A great selection of coffees and teas are available free of charge. This really is an amazing hotel that gets better every time I visit. Thank-you to all the staff. Hope to see you again soon.

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel very welcoming, staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very good, could have done with a table of some sort. Although therw is no restaurant the cooked buffet style breakfast was very very good. There are many nice places to eat within 5 minutes walk This hotel is value for money. Would i stay here again? Most definately, and am going to. Thank you for a very nice stay.

The Brand new modern rooms which are larger than most european hotel rooms. The bathrooms were just as nice with good water pressure and rainfall showerheads. The staff led by Soren were fantastic making sure we had all the necessary finishing touches to the room to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. The revitalized neighborhood had tons of great restaurants, shops, and breweries. The location was great; it was close to two tube stops on multiple lines making getting into central London a breeze.

arived late but staff was very professional. the room is really cozy and i stayed in. had some (good ) tea and enjoyed the clean and nice bahroom for a long hot shower and then enjoyed the telly and internet access to netflix. i liked it a lot, prefer it over large hotels with massive rooms.

This is a typical city hotel - noisy roads, room not all that big, but a good en suite, coffee and tea in room, expensive breakfast if not part of a deal. No lift in the annexe, so to be avoided. Some way from the Underground. Bed ok, reception 24/7. Price not too high, so worth a look

Very nice location and great value for London. Breakfast is excellent value, staff helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. Family room a great size. Bus line to Hammersmith outside or a 10 min walk to the Piccadilly or district line. some very good restaurants on the high street

Conveniently located along the Chiswick high street, the hotel is within easy walking distance of all amenities and the station. The rooms are (room 64) warm and comfortable. Ours was situated at the back so nice and quiet. The staff were pleasant and polite but breakfast is an additional charge. Breakfast was as you'd expect and pretty good all in all. If you are a coeliac, find somewhere else to eat as they really don't seem to know what to do. Or gave little impression or confidence in their gluten free knowledge. My wife brought her own flakes as normal. So a very very expensive breakfast for 4 slices of bread and some milk. Not impressed with this at all. I would stay here again for convenience but no breakfast for us.

Another great stay at our "home from home" hotel in Chiswick, West London. Always feel looked after, friendly greeting by the reception staff and always made to feel welcome. Our room this time was on the ground floor. Very comfortable, clean and modern shower room. Great location. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Stamford Brook tube is a short walk. Great place to stay. Parking available which is a bonus in London.

Having stayed at this hotel for several years on trips to London, I was was very disapppinted with this stay. The room prices have been jacked up and breakfast is no longer included. The room had missing fixtures, the bed linen was soiled and guests from hell were staying next door. The staff was untruthful when the matter was brought to their attention. Other hotels in the general area offer better prices and superior service. As a long-time Best Western rewards member I truly wish I could give a better review.

I stayed here for 3 nights on business and all in all it was a really enjoyable experience. The man behind reception was very professional when I checked in and it was all done quickly and efficiently. There was also a nice touch in reception with a free coffee machine where you could help yourself to tea, coffee, mocha etc. The room was a decent size, with decent size bed and also bath in bathroom. The tv could have done with being a little bigger possibly. The only negatives were that I had a meal allowance from work but they did not do evening meals at all ( although that is probably more of an issue with work than the hotel!) Also if you get a room facing onto the main road it is quite noisy with traffic to all hours and could potentially affect your ability to sleep. A bonus however was that there are plenty of places to eat on Chiswick High Rd within very easy reach of the restaurant and for runners like myself it was a nice place to run with quiet streets and some green park areas. I felt completely safe even when running after dark

Got put in a room on the lower ground floor. Very clean and comfortable if a little small. Only 2 problems, natural light was reflected in using mirrors to the outside. Room was lower ground floor which meant under reception/restaurant, so from 7 am till 10 am all we could hear was dragging chairs and people who were up already, no good for a lie in.

I had made and received confirmation on a booking at this hotel through Bestwestern,com yet on arrival the booking did not exist. This might be a concern at other properties but NOT at this one. Although initially concerned about our situation, it was handled in a very quick and professional manner by Sammy Kumar, alleviating all our worries. Although we did not end up staying at this location, kudos goes out to the staff on how our unfortunate situation was handled. Special thanks to Sammy and all staff for their honest concern. If the staff is any indication of how this property is maintain any one staying here will be more than happy. What I noticed on my observation was a hotel that was maintained and clean. Partner and I recently stayed for two nights whilst attending a conference in the local area. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms and a nice breakfast available each day. Excellent location in walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay again when in area.

London can be expensive, so I suppose this hotel have the fair rates for 3 stars, very good value for the position in the city, easy acces to bus, metro, highway, and after all nice conditions, facilities and also very clean. I would recommend this hotel to everybody who are not looking for something fancy.

Great location. Exceptional staff and perfect breakfast. This is a gem of a hotel and highly recommended. Parking is free and so are coffees/teas in reception. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well laid out.

Firstly the good bits.... it's clean and each room is just about equipped with everything you need. However I really do think what room it is you stay in? Mine was very clean, but I could literally touch each wall side to side if I stretched my arms out. It was Tiny with a bed pushed up against a wall. The room had air conditioning.... which even though wasn't on, continuously whined all night. You can hear every door open and close, every step up and down, even people flushing the toilet. It's ok. But I wouldn't stay again.

Checked in mid afternoon having booked a two night stay some months ago - went to room having seen sign directing to lower ground floor - no exaggeration there - the room was very dark with a tiny window high up in the wall - not acceptable to me. Went back to reception where the room was changed with no comment, apology or smile. The room we were then given was fine - clean, nice bathroom, good wi fi, We booked primarily for the location and so would return. The gentlemen on reception when we checked out were charming and professional.

Fabulous Best Western Hotel. We had a double room in one of the separate buildings, compact with everything we needed. Clean and airy. Great location in Chiswick Breakfast was delicious, loads of choice, the scrambled egg was cooked perfectly. Will definitely stay again

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the rooms were really lovely and clean, comfortable beds, breakfast was a full buffet and really nice, the staff were really accommodating and friendly, it was in a nice quiet area and easy to find from turnham green station

Was booked into this hotel for work business trip. Was allocated a single room on the 'lower ground' floor which is code for the basement. My room was so small and it was not possible to open a medium sized suitcase on the available floor space. There was no window and it was very hot and stuffy. The only way to ventilate was leave a noisy air conditioner on all night. The bathroom was very small and the sink so tiny it was difficult to clean your teeth. Credit to the housekeepers for keeping everything nice and clean. Despite the tiny size of the room, there were amenities such as a safe, hairdryer, TV, tea and coffee and very basic toiletries. Breakfast was available from 7am (challenging if having to leave early for work) but was a pleasant buffet with a good selection of hot and cold dishes. Staff were friendly and willing to help. I do believe that I would have had a better experience if I had a room with some natural light and the hotel is in a good location for shops, transport and airport. I would suggest however that it is made clear on booking that some rooms a located in the basement as this fact may bother some people more than others. Would be happy to stay again provided room was different.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night to attend a show in the West End. It has superb facilities including free car parking, free unlimited hot drinks in reception, an ironing room and free wi-fi. The only thing i would say about the car park at the rear of the hotel, is that access is severely restrictive. I had to fold in my door mirrors on my MPV in order to pass through car park entrance. The hotel itself is ideally located for good bus routes and three tube stations. The interior decor of the rooms and communal areas was very smart, clean and tidy. It looked like it had undergone a recent revamp. We payed the £7.50 each advance payment for breakfast the following morning which was an inspired move, breakfast was superb including bacon, sausage, eggs etc amongst the fare. We will certainly be staying at this hotel again when attending events in London. A faultless stay.

My fiancé and I stayed here last night due to going to a concert at Hammersmith Apollo. Up on arrival we were greeted warmly by staff, speedy check in and we got a room upgrade. The room was stunning. Kitchen with all appliances, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, big comfy bed, beautiful big bathroom/shower, TV, iron, fan and even a washing machine. absolutely no complaints.. we will most definitely be returning! Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

I regularily stay in this Hotel and I have always been completely satisfied with the rooms and the outstandingly friendly and competent Service of all staff. The Location is excellent with many direct bus Connections as well as two metrolines from/to Turnham Green Station.

Location very close to Hammersmith in London . Has free car parking limited places booking your place is recommended. The staff were helpful but were very curt perhaps a reflection of their work load perhaps their culture or a mixture. Room was very spacious plenty of towels provided toilet amenities of a high standard. The hotel is on the high street and there are lots of breakfast places and variety of restaurants . Next time in London would book again .Prices through Booking.com very affordable for London.

Only stayed one night but the hotel was very clean and well equipped. We were in the annexe area in a fair sized room with nice en suite. Parked on site also available. Friendly staff and helpful reception. Maybe not the best location if visiting Central London but great for Heathrow.

We stayed again last night, and this place is as good as last time. Manager Soren Back is a star, so very helpful and will go out of his way to make your stay great. Still offering free parking, with bus stops and tube stations a couple of minutes away, it is a secret I don't want to share with too many - so don't pass this gem on!

Located in an area with great eateries, cafes and specialist or niche shops i.e. a nut and seed shop, cheese and charcuterie, organic and in some cases locally sourced vegetables and fruit, a few small supermarkets. I do not know if it is well located in terms of access to public transportation. The structure is an appealing row of what have must have been a row of single family dwelling that were attached. They must have been renovated and connected into one hotel. The layout is somewhat strange very narrow corridors. The interior is not as well maintained or nice as the exterior save for the lobby. I am not sure but think that there is an attached more modern looking facility in the back which is accessed through a little gate. The staff was attentive and the cleaning staff diligent as my room was spic and span during my two night stay. The bathroom is adequate with a nice shower. The room is a tad small but big enough to open a large suitcase on the floor without feeling cramped. I did not like the carpet which has seen better days. The back area parking is accessed through a very, very narrow gate leading from the street. Someone in a hurry or not familiar with narrow English roads will probably knock a chunk off the side. It is a nice looking hotel with a good lobby and breakfast area. My only complaint was the carpet. Would stay again.

stayed the hotel for two nights after booking the same through Hotels.com. the check ins was very smooth and found the staff to be very cooperative and helping. Room size although small yet a good value for money as the bathroom/ air conditioning and other amenities were perfect.

Free car parking!!! The man on reception Friday 31st August and again Sunday 2nd September morning is absolute credit to his employer. My mother and I traveled to London for 5 days and chose Best Western through Booking.com The staff are absolutely wonderful, and very accommodating. We had a great time, breakfast was really good, the room was clean. Overall I would definitely stay there again :)

I spent 4 days at the Best Western in Chiswick, and I must say this is the best combination of price, value, and location for my money in London. A lot of other reviews comment on the cleanliness of the place. When I read them I was thinking: "What is the point of commenting on how clean a hotel is. This is like the baseline, standard, non-negotiable part of a hotel". But after staying there, I must say: there is clean and then there is spotless. This hotel almost shine. From the outside you don't give much credit to it. It looks like any other old conversion in London, but it all feels brand new, and clean, very, very, clean. So, to the basics: Room: I stayed on a standard double. The room is small, there is no doubt about it. I think the double room with two single beds is bigger, since you need more space for two separate beds. For a couple, or a longer stay, it is better to try to get a larger room. But it is not claustrophobically small, and it has all amenities, including a kettle, very good wifi and a safe-deposit box. Bathroom: Same deal - small, but functional, and spotless. Nothing much to add as bathroom goes. Wifi: always available, very fast, simple to login, free, and with no restriction on number of devices. In other words, how wifi should be in 2018. Breakfast: I did not try, as Chiswick is my neighborhood and I know many good places to have breakfast. But it did look ok, and at 7.50 GBP it does not sound expensive. Location: Even if you are visiting London as a tourist, I think staying in a quieter neighborhood as Chiswick is a great idea. You are directly on the district line (easy and close access to South Ken, Westminster, Tower of London, etc) so you can spend your days visiting the city, and come back at night for a feel of real London life, with lots of restaurants around.

Just returned from a three nights stay,and couldn't really fault the place.stayed in a ground floor room in the annexe building.patio doors open up to a patio area with a few tables and chairs.great to sit out and have a coffee.room wasn't massive,but it was adequate.nice large bed and a decent bathroom.a bonus would be a fridge in the room! breakfast was decent at 7.50 if booked night before.the local area was really nice.tree lined main road with plenty of shops and restaurants.felt really safe in the area.short walk to the station,then approx 20 mins to westminster.if I revisit London,this hotel and area would be where I would stay.

This was my second stay at Chiswick Palace, I had requested a quiet room and was given a room in the main hotel at the back of the building, which was quiet, even the air conditioning unit was quiet ! The room was obviously a family room having a double and two single beds so was a bit full but there was enough space for my needs with good wifi. The bathroom had a large shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. There is no food in the evening but there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food. The hotel has free parking and I have already booked my next stay in October.

Stayed for one night with my husband during August. Stayed in a King room & had breakfast at the hotel for £7 extra each. Room was lovely - in the external building but was of a good size & layout. The bathroom was lovely - looked brand new & sparkling clean. Great power shower & nice toiletries provided. We were very pleased to see the room had air con which worked a treat & was very welcome in this hot weather! Everything we encountered in the hotel was exceptionally clean and looked very new. Breakfast was buffet style, good choice available. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Thank you to all the staff who made our weekend stay very comfortable.

Looking for a reasonably priced hotel for the one night we were in London was a challenge. Especially as my husband and I were travelling with our children, a teen boy and girl. We liked the general look and area of the hotel and were very pleasantly surprised. While our room was in the basement (ingress/egress window provided some natural light), it was large, spacious, and very clean. We had a large King sized bed for my husband and I, and our kids each had a twin bed. The bathroom was small but well equipped. Being able to put the air conditioning on brought the room to a very comfortable cool temperature perfect for sleeping. Even though we were right across from the elevator, the room was very quiet and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk and our favourite activity was when we walked to the Thames and walked along the path while the sun was setting. The hotel is well situated close to the tube and bus lines and the next morning the incredibly helpful staff helped us secure a car to take us to the tower and even printed off our tickets for us. We purchased the breakfast option the night before for a very reasonable £7.50 per person and enjoyed a lovely breakfast before we headed off for the day. An excellent stay and our first experience at a Best Western property. We would highly recommend this hotel. These photos were taken along the Thames path a short distance from the hotel.

Having a few days site seeing without being in the city centre. This is a lovely hotel. Staff are really great, very helpful. The accomodation is quite unique. Converted town houses. Very tastefully converted and feels like a home rather than a hotel. The rooms are spotless and very well provisioned. We had the buffet breakfast for each of our days. Good quality produce and not stacked to the ceiling. Again the staff are ever helpful. The location of the hotel is great for the tube and Chiswick High Street has some great restaurants and the Roebuck pub opposite the hotel was a great venue. We will definitely have this hotel on top of the list for future visits.

Fantastic staff they cannot do enough for you clean rooms lovely breakfast great location definately coming back . Very near to Arts Educational school if you have an audition good value for money in a lovely part of Chiswick Turnham Green tube station nearby and great bus routes too

The hotel is located between LHR and the centre of London. In 5 to 7 min walking distance are two subway station to take you to Westminster in about 20 min. Besides, the hotel is conveniently located on a road with plenty of shops and restaurants. We had vietnamese, indian, italian and pub food, but there are many more options. Breakfast at the hotel was OK, the rooms were clean and in an excellent state. The service was excellent.

Rooms in annexe are lovely i have not stayed in main hotel. lovely terrace to sit out in the evening. Staff are friendly and go the extra mile. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is really good. I have stayed in many hotels in London in the past 6 months and thus is by far the best I book in there every week now.

The staff, breakfast, amenities and room were all first class. We enjoyed our stay very much. The assistant manager was most helpful, giving us tips about the area, making sure we had what we needed for our room etc. The hotel is convenient to lots of restaurants, parks and the underground stations.

I am a Quality Management Specialist, and this was a first class experience / stay in my opinion, which was delivered to me by Mr Kumar and his team, a very slick seamless professional process, demonstrating great management and operation of management systems by Mr. Kumar and his team. Mr. Kumar was especially helpful, friendly, polite, courteous, respectful, warm welcoming and extremely professional, all the qualities that you would wish for, from a top manager. The room / studio apartment was amazing, very luxurious, spotlessly clean, with great amenities complete with a lounge, cooking area, extremely large comfortable beds hot shower and massive floor space, which is very rare for London. The breakfast was very tasty, there was plenty of it, lots of choice and variety with options for a continental or a traditional full breakfast was on offer. Thank you, to you and your team Mr Kumar for a wonderful stay, I will definitely be back next time I am in the Chiswick area and will recommend you, your staff and this hotel to my friends and work colleagues.

The room I had was in an out building on the ground floor where there was a skip outside the window. I'm not sure if there was building work or maintenance being carried but workmen were around carrying out duties around this building. The bed-sit style room contained a lovely bed, some nice chairs and a kitchen area all decorated to a very high standard. I'm not entirely sure the double glazing did it's job in filtering out the traffic noise from the busy road outside. There was a really big HD tv in the room mounted in a great position on wall and two air conditioning units - one for the main room and one for the bathroom which worked really well. A lavish bathroom experience but I couldnt get the shower head to go any higher on the pole so had to duck to ensure the water poured over me. These are all minor snags and I'm assuming this room/building has recently been converted or refurbished so there may be a few minor snags to sorts out like a grill missing from the air conditioning unit.

We stayed her for three nights (my daughters and I) for some quick sight seeing in London. My goal was to find a convenient location where 3 could sleep in a room and it wouldn't break the bank. I'm also not a fan of roughing it too much when I'm not staying in the developing world. This was a great spot. We took the Train from Heathrow into the city and then took the Undergound District line to Turnam Green which what a short 5 -7 minute walk to the hotel. AT first blush the neighborhood might seem a little sketchy but after spending a few days there we felt very comfortable that it was just a nice non-touristy neighborhood. The front desk staff assured us we were safe jogging in the area and walking to the train at any hour. Our check in was seamless. The gave us a nice size room for three (Queen bed w/ a twin) that was clean, though basic. The bathroom was nice with good hot water and nice pressure but it was very small. Who cares?! We were not there for a spa experience! Be forewarned there were no bathroom amenities and no wash clothes (for the Americans.) In the lobby there was 24 hour tea, coffee and hot chocolate and in the room an electric tea pot/cups and biscuits. There was a buffet breakfast for about 7.95 pounds which we did not take. There were plenty of places near by for breakfast (including a Starbucks!- Yikes!) The front desk was very helpful with getting us all we needed, including lend us a current adapter (as ours was not working.) We found the location very convenient and took the underground absolutely everywhere. For the price it was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again. PS- as for air conditioner: It was ok, Not great, but we weren't sweating at night.

Excellent hotel! Great hotel in very good location. Close to tube and plenty of restaurants easily walked to. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with great suggestions for tours and transportation, restaurants and tips. Would definitely return!

All was great except I wished for a quieter room. Walls are thin so could hear upstairs bathroom water running through pipes, and my door and window were right next to a loud self-closing external door. I was in a tiny single room, so I'd say the bathroom would be very hard to move around in if the door were closed.

This inexpensive (for London) hotel is first class, spotlessly clean, good breakfast, and above all outstanding front desk service especially from Soren who was beyond helpful & also the charming Karolina. I will definitely stay there again.

Annexe rooms are exceptionally nice and large. Coffee machine and ice available 24 hours plus tea and coffee making facilities in room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good air conditioning. Would be nice to have a fridge in the room.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is the second time i have stayed here for easy access to local events. The family rooms are very good value. Have the excellent breakfast which has a lot of choice and fresh seasonal fruit. Could be improved by dececent coffee and fresh milk.

From the moment we arrived to check in, it was clear to me that this hotel was going to be a winner. The staff were incredibly helpful, funny and polite, the buffet style breakfast is all you could ever ask for and well worth opting for and the bar has a wide array of refreshing treats too. The bed was so comfortable we could hardly bear to leave! Chiswick is one of our favourite places to visit and we would very highly recommend wandering around the high street and checking out the local cafes, bars and restaurants. There are great links via bus and tube into other parts of London too!

Such wonderful staff at this hotel who clearly love to make you feel welcome and I can't praise them highly enough particularly Soren and Sammy. Stayed here when my brother suffered a heart attack outside the hotel and Soren sorted everything and looked after my brother's belongings, booked extra rooms for myself and sister-in-law while we needed to be near the hospital, kept us informed about the incident. I have got to say for the price we paid for two nights, the cost was very reasonable through booking.com. We arrived and managed to get a parking space at the front of hotel which was free. A big plus point in London as parking can be a nightmare! Fantastic check in smooth and easy with polite staff. Foyer looked fresh and clean, we were pleasantly suprised. Brekfast was extra so we opted to get our own. Shown to our room 1 double bed two single beds which were in a lovely modern huge room. Beds were clean and comfy and we all had good quality towels. Air con worked perfectly well, as there was only a small window so it was a godsent it was there, as the room got quite hot. Bathroom was tiny but adequate as the room was so big. Great shower and toiletries. Tea coffee kettle and biscuits. Plenty of wardrobe space etc. Location is fab Chiswick is a vibrant place. Tube and bus stop not far. We had tube into London and used uber inbetween. One of the best hotels we have stayed in in London for the price. Would recommend this place and would definatly stay here again. Fantastic.

This hotel is just great in a lovely location. I have stayed here before and will stay here again. This time we had a King room in the other building. it was huge with a gorgeous bathroom, a huge bed and the added bonus of wifi & air con! Chiswick is a lovely area and we used the hotel to explore all of London. Great tube links into the West End and other areas. We had breakfast on this trip on the both days and it was very nice. Continental and full english with a lot of choice.

Once I got over the initial shock of how small our room was it turned out to be a great one night stay . Lovely friendly staff , very comfortable bed and shower was perfect . Very good having an off Road Car Park . We would be very happy to stay again . Robert , Manchester .

My husband was staying here when he had a heart attack outside the hotel. The staff coped magnificently - they really helped to save his life. I stayed here while he was recovering in hospital, and no-one could have been more sympathetic or caring. In addition the hotel is spotless, the rooms have everything you need, the breakfast is excellent and the rates very reasonable. There is even a garden. I would recommend it highly.

I booked one night at this hotel for my self and my wife on our wedding anniversary. We arrived at this hotel, only to be told that they had cancelled our booking, due to a problem pre authorising our card, we had selected to pay for our stay at the time of the stay, however the hotel tried to pre authorise our card 2 days before our arrival, and could not do it, so they just cancelled the booking! The hotel say that they informed expedia of this, however expedia state that they have no record of the hotel contacting them. As an added bonus, the hotel was full! apart from one single room, which was offered to us for the same price as the double that we had booked. As we were on a tight schedule for a sporting event, we had no option but to accept the single room, and I ended up sleeping on a mattress on the floor whilst my wife slept in the bed, "happy anniversary"!!! To be fair the staff were very apologetic and offered us breakfast at no charge, but I do not feel this made up for the inconvenience caused. Also to note, whilst we were trying to sort this out, there were 2 other people in the exact same position as us, having had their bookings cancelled. Be aware!!!!

I have stayed at the Chiswick Palace Suites for many years, in fact even before it belonged to Best Western group. Under the new management these past few years it has improved each stay that I have visited . The deputy manager Soren Back has been part of the reason I return very welcoming, he was born to do the job! Very professional but personable & always wants your stay to be a good one.As a lone traveller you are definitely looked after . Also the breakfasts are hugely improved. Well done !

I don't normally write reviews for hotels but I felt I had to on this occasion. It was my Husbands birthday last month and we decided to go to out for a nice meal, a show in London and book a hotel for a night away. My Husband booked this place - he told me he had booked the Best Western in Chiswick and straight away I thought 'ergh a cheap motel!' - I have stayed at beautiful hotels across countries including Corinthia London, Hiltons, Marriotts etc etc.. Well...... we arrived and I couldn't believe the beautiful interior which looks like it has recently been refurbished. Absolutely delighted. A great check in, lovely staff. The décor throughout was lovely. Entered our room, again, they had gone above and beyond and the room and bathroom were modern and very clean. Extras like the tea coffee and biscuits are always a nice touch. We had breakfast too, it ended at 10am and we didn't wake until 9.45am - the staff offered to plate us up a breakfast which we could go down for when ready. I really would recommend this hotel, location is perfect with a car park also free of charge. We will definitely be visiting again. Just goes to show.. don't judge a book by its cover!

I found this hotel whilst looking for somewhere to stay when I visited Twickenham for the London 7s event. As it was an all day event, I needed somewhere the night before that could be used as a nearby base, on a budget, but that offered value for money. In Best Western I got exactly what I wanted. A double room on a Saturday night cost me £65 (half the price of a west end hotel), it's situated halfway between Turnham Green and Stamford Brook on the district line so very convenient for the journey westwards the following morning, and the staff couldn't be more friendly. The room was a decent size and well stocked. I didn't try any of the hotel facilities as I was out very early on the Sunday but they offer plenty.

Really impressed with all elements to this hotel, we drove and the parking is complimentary, the location of the hotel is close to the underground, lots of restaurants and cafes near by, excellent value and very welcoming staff. Highly recommend! Service, rooms and sleep quality - 4 Stars!

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was very good value. We found the tube close and easy to get to central London. On return three is a good variety of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.

We (Myself and My Wife My Wife Lizzie Bum) used this Hotel when we visited a convention in Kensington, London. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially the Duty Manager, (I think his name was spelt Soreno? But he really is one of the most helpful Australians and Hoteliers that I have ever met). The breakfast was both fresh and filling and had a great choice for every dietary need. And they have a well stocked bar (I recommend the prosecco which you can take to the rear garden and enjoy sipping watching the Sun go down). Parking is limited, but if you book ahead, they reserve you a space without any issue. The hotel itself is well located for restaurants and nightlife or, if the need takes you, commuting into London for a spot of sightseeing. I would highly recommend this place to stay for both UK residents and tourists wishing to see more of the London capital. And both me and Lizzie Bum look forward to staying here again very soon!

In 2016 had a pleasure to run this property as a General Manager with some great changes included upgraded breakfast, higher booking.com customer feedback satisfaction, upgrading linen and bedding. Great place to stay!

Stay was fine but we have an open investigation from our bank for charges on our credit card from the hotel. They claim that we had breakfast although the reason for our stay in London in the first place was a breakfast and show for my partners birthday elsewhere. Despite disagreements from calling the hotel, the hotel maintains that we did, although they do not have a process of getting someone to sign, or any checks for guests who charge things to the room. Hoping to have the issue resolved soon.

Great weekend away with Mum. Hotel perfect distance from town (15 min to be rode and 5 min walk). Hotel staff welcoming and friendly, the room was a good size for a twin. The beds were comfortable and the room was immaculate and bathroom clean with a great shower, perfect after a day walking around London.

I have stayed several times...some experiences good others not. The quieter rooms are fine. The new annexe is terrible. Everything done on the cheap...totally inadequate glazing on the windows so the all night traffic and general street noise is deafening, cheap mattress, tv so small you can only watch it from few feet away. Towels from previous guest were still in the bathroom Basement rooms are poky and seemingly a fire risk...only one exit stairs and no escape from the light well. Sadly this hotel is always full so any complaints will be ignored as the demand exceeds the supply...so why bother. Would be nice if the management would address these issues.

We based ourselves this time in Chiswick as wanted to be outside central London. The hotel looks like it has been recently refurbished and in fact the outside was being painted during our stay (4-8 May). We received a very warm welcome on arrival and our room was 212 which was small and in the attic (velux window) but was immaculate and great bathroom with shower cubicle (inc body wash and shampoo inside cubicle - great touch). The room service was great. This room looked onto Chiswick High Road which can be a bit noisy if light sleeper, but didn't really bother us. Chiswick is very nice area with great selection of bars and restaurants, cafes and shops. We walked to Kew Gardens (approx. 40 mins) and got bus back. Would come back to this hotel next time we come to London as it is very good quality and is bit cheaper than the central London hotels was have stayed in in the past. We didn't have breakfast but it was only £7.50 which is lot cheaper than other hotels.

I have stayed at this property many times over the past 12 years. This time was a last minute getaway break for one night during the Bank Holiday weekend. The booking experience with Miguel was professional speedy and accurate. At check in, Koronia was extremely polite and welcoming, and did everything she could do to speed up the preparation of our room even though we arrived early. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a great day in Central London, and a great night in the local bars and restaurants in Chiswick. If you have not stayed at the Chiswick Palace & Suites, I cannot recommend it enough.

Very friendly, clean and comfortable hotel for friends meeting up in London over a weekend. All 8 had single rooms and all were very happy with the hotel. Modern facilities. A good budget hotel on the west side of London. I always try to stay here when I travel to London monthly Basic rooms that are clean, and comfortable. The staff is always friendly, and willing to make sure my stay is pleasant . Its about 10 minute walk to the tube, and 30 minutes to the city center. The area has a variety for food choices close by.

I have stayed here for the last time. The management has changed and they have purchased some adjoining houses and turned every room into a bedroom NO MATTER HOW SMALL. They tried send me to the 2nd floor (no lift) to a room that was 8 square metres. New management does not seem to understand the hotel business. The attitude get the booking on the internet deduct the credit card and put them in anywhere. Such a pity as this was one of the best hidden secrets in London. The position and parking at the hotel was ideal for attending a friend's wedding activities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with local advice and assistance. The ground-floor king sized room was spotless and much appreciated by two oldies with some mobility problems. Breakfast was excellent. We'll be returning.

Our first stay at the Best Western, Chiswick over 3 nights during the Easter Bank Holiday. On first impressions when you enter the reception the hotel is good, it's very clean and quite modern. We thought we were staying in a room within the main building, however we was informed we were around the corner in a flat! At first this didn't sit well with us and as it was raining we thought we would have to walk from the main car park in the rain to our room, fortunately you could actually park direct outside the door. The room was very clean, the wall mounted TV was quite small but not an issue for us, a walk in shower which suited us and a very bright and clean bathroom. The Hotel is Central to Chiswick with many Bars, Cafe's and Restaurants to choose from. There are several Tube Stations in easy walking distance to use to commute on a short ride to Central London. We are looking forward to returning and spending our New Years Eve here. Well done to the Management ??

This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel but having a meeting in Chiswick I thought I would try it especially as it had car parking. On check in I was surprised that it did not do food in the evening and that I would have to go out, having driven a long way I didn't particularly want to have to go and find somewhere to eat, although there were a number of places in the vicinity of the hotel. I had requested a quiet room and was given one facing a main road, the receptionist changed it for a quieter one round the corner, I was in the annexe, but the stairs were right above the double bed and the occupants above, whilst not being noisy, did wake me up, going upstairs and the floor above creaked, I could even hear one of the occupants snoring and had to fond some ear plugs ! I had a poor nights sleep. The buffet breakfast was very good and if I could get a better, quiet room, I would use again as it was good value for money.

Finding the hotel is easy, with parking available at the front, and rear. There are limited spaces, and clearly, if the site was full, this may be an issue. The hotel is well located, and represents quite good value for money. On site, there is a restaurant which is used for breakfast only. Reception is 24/7. The front of house are welcoming and friendly. Check in was good. The outside areas are reasonably clean, to the main hotel, however, the patio area at the annex is anything but. Clearly shared with the service team, containers of dirty sheets are left out, empty glasses and bottles are everywhere, and it's not clean at all. Such a shame. I had a single room - which, despite other reviews, wasn't so small. It was a well appointed room, set out well. An initial inspection review appeared ok, but, a deeper look unearthed that this room hadn't been cleaned properly - ever. Urine stains around the rear of the toilet seat, and dust on top of the wardrobe, Housekeeping are doing a rush job here, The TV unit has cables hanging loose, quite unsightly. The bed provided an excellent nights sleep. The room was in the annex, and rear facing. It was quiet, and peaceful. I am sure the squeaky floorboards in my room would have caused an annoyance to those below me - but - this is an old building, renovated, and, well, the squeaks didn't bother me. My morning shower became ice cold after covering myself with soap. I had no choice to continue showering with cold water. Not nice at all. Calling reception, they said they would reset the boiler. Too late. I've had to endure this. Breakfast was good, with a choice between continental and fried English. I left my room for a day of work. On return, the room had been made up - however, refreshments hadn't been replenished. Most disturbing of all, my luggage appears to have been rifled through. There were no valuables left in the room to take, but, it was very clear my bag had been 'Searched', the same applies to my wash kit in the bathroom. I don't say this lightly. It's a serious allegation, however, I am very particular on my kit. Everything is placed in a certain way. It's habit, and it's the same in every hotel. Everything had been moved - and clearly gone through. I feel if there was cash and jewellery, a proportion may have been taken - but - I'm not stupid enough to leave this lying around. Really bad feeling about this. With a little care, and tighter control of procedures, this hotel would get an excellent review. I encourage management to focus on the good, and improve rapidly in the failings. Making the site as it once was when it was last renovated. I wouldn't avoid this site - but - I would act with caution.

We stayed for just one night. The hotel staff were delightful from reception to House cleaning. Parking was convenient behind the hotel. A buffet breakfast was very good - the only criticism would be that they need more staff to clear tables and more comfortable pillows otherwise bedrooms were good but two chairs were badly worn and needed replacing.

Very helpful and attentive staff. Clean and fantastic shower. Very pleased with a lovely weekend in London. Would recommend it and will be back. Had no breakfast as too many nice places in High Rd. Unexpectedly had to park a car for a couple of hours and there was no problem to park just outside the hotel.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Very clean and good decor, however, they have eeeked every bit of space out of this building with the single rooms having single beds and not much else. If you were to stand in the middle of the room you could almost touch both sides. A colleague had a small double which practically touched both sides of her room (not much chance of falling out), another colleague had a basement room with no wardrobe, just coat hooks, and the sink was smaller than a cloakroom sink -tiny, was also very dark and gloomy. Breakfast was good enough, with good choices, though the sausages didn't look cooked, they tasted ok. Saying this, a good, clean all round hotel with free flowing tea and coffee facilities. A pleasant stay.

There were 5 of us booked into 4 rooms, The hotel is lovely with a very efficient team who looked after us. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice served in the conservatory. Overall a great hotel in a great location with free car parking.

Average hotel, lot of street noise and the room I got was tiny, smaller than my car .. Bed was really uncomfortable to the point I got about 3 hours sleep and I basically live in hotels. Wouldn't risk going back.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. We have been several times before but not for a while. The extended hotel and the face lift we liked a lot, our room was good although a little small, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.. It is Convenient for us as there is a nearby tube and a village feel to the High Street and some good restaurants if you want to stay local. Thank you.

Nice location in Chiswick, close to a x2 tubes. Rooms are contemporary, quiet and very comfortable - all you need. The staff are very accommodating, friendly. I travel a lot on business and I enjoy returning.

Our twin room was a bit of a squeeze. It was difficult to walk around the beds. Room was clean, shower nice. Great to have shower gel provided. Coffee machine in the foyer a good idea. The hotel is in a good location for getting onto the M4. Highly recommended café directly opposite the hotel is called Angies Little Café - does good breakfast, brunch, salads.

Great hotel - clean, modern in an ideal location 5 min walk to district line station about 30 mins from main London attractions - Chiswick lovely safe area shame we didn't stay longer to explore bars restaurants and shops that all looked great.

Stayed here for 2 nights, as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary, and had booked to go to Olympia Ideal Home Show. The hotel staff were very friendly on arrival, and we stayed in the Annex, adjacent to the Hotel, the room we had was very clean, and although small had everything we needed. The bed was too hard for our own taste, the breakfast was very good with a good selection of food. It would be nice to have the option of an evening meal, maybe in the future. Glad we reserved our car space, as the parking is limited.

I have stayed here on a number of occasions because it has a car park and is very local to one of my places of work. Firstly, make sure you are allocated a room in the main building: there is an annex where the quality isn't as good (unless they have recently improved the annex rooms). Secondly, make sure you book a car parking space if you need one. Increasingly frequently the car park is full if you just turn up. Thirdly, the heating is set very high, but you can turn down the radiators and towel rails manually if you prefer not to sleep in a sauna! Finally, I find the pillows too hard, but I haven't found it enough of a problem to actually ask if they offer a softer alternative...

Chose this hotel for it's location and that it has on site parking. Was driving to different venues around London at night, about an hour each way and it was great having the parking. During the day the hotel and area were quiet enough to sleep undisturbed. Plenty of very good restaurants, pubs and bars within a five minute walk. Quick walk to underground and short hop to central London. Very clean rooms, albeit, quite small, but with private bath. Friendly and helpful staff. Save the money on the breakfast and eat at one of the local places.

On our first arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful female receptionist. She also mentioned the hotel was due to be awarded a Four star status. We were pleased to hear we had been upgraded to a superior room. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Though there was a very loud humming noise coming from outside. It was impossible to sleep. I went to the reception desk to complain and asked to move to another room. The friendly female staff had been replaced by a stone faced Duty manager, who said the hotel was full. I explained the problem and a maintenance staff accompanied me to the room to investigate the issue. He heard the noise but couldn't find out where it was coming from. So he went outside the building to investigate. After over half an hour I called the reception desk to check the progress. This time the Duty manager and the maintenance staff came in the room together. Both heard the noise but still couldn't locate the source of the noise. The maintenance staff started using swearing words when talking to the Duty manager. Which was totally unprofessional in front of hotel guests. A while later they couldn't solve the issue and suddenly a room was found, so that I could swap. Although the room was clean, the set up wasn't quite Four star standard. Just two beds being put in a large sitting room. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and warm. Plenty of hot water. It is let down by the varying standard of service. For a hotel going to be awarded a Four star status, I would expect much higher standard of service and room quality.

I stay at the hotel on many occasions for a mix of business and meeting my son who is studying in the area. I always get good value for money and Chiswick is a great spot with a 'village' feel to it yet only a few stops from Central London. The Assistant Manager, Soren, is extremely personable, welcoming and helpful.

We stayed for one night. We had 2 double rooms booked. The hotel is easy to get to from the tube and is appealing from the road. We were welcomed by the deputy manager. He couldn't do enough for us and was incredibly helpful. The hotels public area are all clean and modern. Our room was small and a little disappointing but it wasn't expensive, had everything we needed and we both slept well. Our friends room was bigger than ours. We only found out today that their radiator hadn't been working and they were cold. They reported it on the saturday night before we went out but it didn't get sorted. shame really. however we would stay again.

I had first been to this hotel for a small conference so when we needed an overnight stop in Chiswick, we were able to take advantage of a great offer (on a Monday night) and had a lovely room in the annexe which offered its own front door just off the side road. The room was clean and well laid out and really fit the bill. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. We were also able to find a space in the car park. It was an easy walk to Turnham Green Terrace for something to eat. Breakfast was available but we chose not to indulge. We would certainly recommend the hotel and, for visitors to London, the access to Central London by tube is easy.

This was out 3rd visit here. And it works for what we need. its very clean and well looked after. Staff do fix issues you may have which is another bonus. Its off a busy road so can be awkward to pull in while rush hour is on, unless come from the other direction then your fine. parking is good for £12 and your space awaits when you arrive. not yet tried the food. most rooms are spacious too. I will stay here again, i just like the clean and fresh environment

Our company booked some rooms at the ChiswickPalace for Hotelympia and all pleasantly surprised. Very professional and courteous staff at the front desk, Ramona was highly efficient and upgraded mine and colleagues our rooms at checkin. Breakfast buffet had good range and yogurts with different flavors. Would highly recommend

Good value for money. Including car park on first come first serve basis. Room clean and bed comfortable. Near tube station. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Feel safe to walk on the street at night. Near to Thame River and Chiswick House. Will come again.

Wonderfully helpful staff, room far too hot (84) a flat top sheet would have been useful so we could discard the divet. Breakfast lovely, location very good, nice area. Hogarth,s House, Chiswick House and Park and river within 15 mins walk. Plenty of restaurants close by. Limited parking, was not aware you could book this ahead of arrival.

Very welcoming staff on arrival and surprise upgrade to larger family room in lovely old house that is part of the hotel. Right on Chiswick High Road but it was quiet throughout the weekend and is a terrific area. There were lots of nearby restaurants and bars to chose from. We enjoyed an evening meal in a Turkish restaurant Citrus & Spice followed by a very good beer in nearby Italian craft ale bar The Italian Job. The following morning a five minute jog led to the Thames and a nice riverside path towards Richmond in one direction or Hammersmith in the other. Perfect way to run off the previous night's calories in preparation for the good buffet breakfast.

We stay at this hotel regularly due to location and parking facilities. Easy to get into the city by tube, Chiswick is a lovely area with several restaurants and inns. The hotel is decorated to a high standard, rooms are well equipped, and facilties are modern. We recommend guests make their personal requirements known to the hotel as rooms differ in size (and therefore associated bathrooms) and may be located in the roof area (sloping ceilings)

Weed been to the Orchids at Kew Gardens and had tickets to a show at the Dominion Theater the following day, so an overnight-er made sense. Escaped from the kids and a chance for some us time. Great trip. Hotel staff where very accommodating. We stayed in the Levi's Room, so we had our bed side bed ;-). very comfy bed and snuck a few beers down from the bar. totally enjoyed...

I travel a lot due to my work. I think that I am rarely that surprised by the rooms of my hotels.: this one was far too small! I could not even leave open my suitcase... Small - and noisy, as I could clearly hear all the noises of my.... co habitants in the same building. / I stayed at the new, external sector. Very poor breakfast... Polite employees and good room service

This is a hotel in a good location to central London. Only a ten minute walk to tube station. The room was of a good standard, They do provide breakfast for a extra charge. There is limited parking on site, overall we would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for a night having visited the Natural History Museum one day at Kew Gardens the next. This was an ideal location, equally distant from each. The room was large and clean, the beds comfortable. There is a car park at the rear which provides a convenient, safe environment to park. The hotel is situated close to local shops and restaurants, including a Sainsburys Local.

We have stayed here several times now and cannot fault it. The deputy manager, Soren, is brilliant and will go out of his way to help you. There is free parking, you can easily walk to the underground tube, and we paid just £80 for the night.

So I stayed here from 10th Feb-11th Feb and I stayed in one of the Suites/Studio flats that they have within the hotel as there was going to be quite a few of my girls staying also. OMG!!! It was lovely..... It was my birthday weekend so the guys at the hotel had decorated the whole studio with balloons, cake and I even got my first birthday card from the hotel! Room was lovely and clean and the added extras that they did for me was such a lovely surprise! Would definitely recommend staying here and the next time I need to stay in Chiswick I'll be coming back! Thanks Best Western Palace for making my birthday a memorable one! :)

Stayed here for two nights in January. We had two rooms for two couples and we had two rooms on the same corridor which was handy. The rooms were nice with a modern, clean bathroom. The hotel was very well presented and looked impressive when we first arrived. It is in a good location, not far from a tube station. We had breakfast on both mornings and it was lovely. Lots of options, cooked or continental. The price was very reasonable for such a lovely hotel. Will definitely be returning.

This hotel is excellent value for money. Only a ten minute walk from the nearest tube station, and Chiswick is an excellent location for eating out. The staff were always faultlessly polite and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Our double room was quite compact, especially the bathroom, but was well appointed, comfortable and quiet.

The hotel is comfortable and useful to stay at London. Fair prices and very nice team. Well located, about 10 minutes walking form Turnham Green Underground. The neigbourhood is very nice. We will repeat.

As far as London prices go, this is a very good value hotel. The room we had was compact but had a double and 2 singles beds. It was clean, although you could hear people walking around in the room above. We enjoyed a good value breakfast, and took advantage of the free car park. Would recommend for a 1 - 2 nights stay.

We found this hotel for about £56 on booking.com and wasn't expecting much. When we got in the place, the decor was fantastic, really contemporary grey, white and black. Big mirrors on the wall and an open lobby area, there was free tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby too. Soren who was the manager for the evening was fantastic! Super helpful, engaged and energetic. We paid only £12 to park overnight, when we went out the next day Soren the manager let us leave it car there whilst we went out into London. The room was nice too, the air con worked as it was a chilly night it warmed up the room quickly. The bathroom was very clean, the shower was wonderfully powerful and spacious too. The only thing was that the room above us had very noisy floorboards, it was like the person above us was falling over all the time ha ha. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff were very pleasant and very attentive noticing if you were unsure of something before you asked for assistance. The hotel was extremely clean. Very close to tube station. Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable room

Nicely appointed room with excellent bathroom, large fluffy towels on a warm radiator. Power shower, in a spotlessly clean bathroom. The showers are noisy, and will disturb other guests late at night. Room 114 also had some strange vibrations, from external fans of some sort ; so I had a micro ~ massage, a vibrating bed for the night. (it was quite nice actually and I dropped straight off to sleep) Reception was slick, polite, friendly & professional. I always look forward to staying at a Best Western (except the one in Lowestoft) Breakfast is always good..... And this one was no exception. Recommended, go and enjoy

The hotel is excellent offering B&B and complimentary coffee all day (and night). It is well situated to allow the weary traveller an opportunity to avoid a gruelling car journey into central London by parking up and taking the tube. The location offers plenty of choice for eating out from fast food to a variety of good dining. If you cannot find something you like here, stay at home. Most importantly to me, a hotel can only ever be as good as it's staff make it. Every time I visit, and it is now frequently, I feel as though I am at home. Everyone tries their utmost to make your stay a good one and nothing seems to be too much trouble. It is convenient to the tube and M4 as well as a the previously mentioned good supply of local restaurants. Too good to be true? I think not! I might be easy going but now when I turn up more often than not it is with doughnuts for their hard working team.

This is a great hotel because it is simple to reach via the M4-M25, right in the hart of Chiswick on the outscirts of Hammersmith & Fullham . I stay here all the time both for bsuiness and day trips as you can catch the train or underground directly to anywhere in London very quickly. Parking is at the hotel, if you dont like the stress of the city but need to visit clients or go for a days outing, this hotel is a great choice. Always busy so do book in advance!

Needed a hotel to stay in as I was only in London for a day and was recommended this by a friend. The rooms were very comfy and clean. Very close to the tube which is always a plus. Breakfast buffet was wonderful.Very friendly and attentive staff. Alston, the member of staff who checked me went out of the way to help. Will definitely stay here again.

Was happy to once again to check in to my favourite hotel As always, great service and supportive staff and service. Neat and clean rooms, good breakfast and nearby all public transport. Highly recommended.

We just stayed one night but were able to leave the car their while we were out sightseeing the following day. It's only 10 min walk from Turnham Green Tube. Easy place to find once you drop down from the motorway into Chiswick. We were allocated a room at the front of the building by the front door which at first we thought might be noisy - we were wrong. The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Everyone was commenting the next morning about a storm that kept them awake that night ........ Not us we slept like tops, no traffic noises, door noises, or weather noises. Infact we would book that room again. The Buffett breakfast was at an additional cost and beware!!! If you book through booking breakfast is more expensive then if you book it at the hotel. We had a perfect stay, plenty if restaurants etc close by fir an evening meal. We chose the Thai Restaurant just down the road and had a fabulous meal. Can't wait to return.

Where to start ? Well, having purchased tickets for some west end shows, we needed somewhere decent to stay, onsite parking, close to transport/tube links, and NOT in central London (avoiding congestion charge). This place fitted the requirements on paper, and was subsequently booked. On arrival, having driven 300 miles from home, the place was relatively easy to find. There are two buildings (linked at via short pathway at the rear of each property), with parking available at the rear of the main building, and at the front of the second building. We were allocated our room at check-in, but as this was located on the ground floor at the front of the building, we requested an alternate room. This was sorted without issue, and we settled into our room in the second building. The room was clean, fresh looking, TV, tea/coffee facility, safe, hair-drier, case stand, and the bathroom was equally as good with tiled walls and floor, with large shower cubicle. Breakfast was available in the main building but we didn't bother with this, so won't make any comment. Our room was cleaned each day, fresh towels, bed made etc. so not complaints there. if I did have a complaint it would be that the bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, but the perfect bed is always the one you left at home, and so I wouldn't mark this place down for that. The building is located about 10 minutes walk from Turnham Green tube station, passing several shops, bars and restaurants on the way, with others further up the main road. The tube journey into central London takes around 30 minutes. So would we stay there again ? That would be a resounding YES, without a doubt.

I guess there isn't anything particularly special about the hotel; what makes it so unusual and great is as it should be! The hotel is in a nice area, close to transport and shops, bars and restaurants. We stayed their after flying into Heathrow because it was cheaper than the airport hotels and avoided the rip-off Heathrow Hotel Bus charges. Check-in was great, quick and hassle free. They had kindly collected a parcel for me and put it to one side. The rooms were really clean and spacious for London, with all the amenities you require. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection. All of the fixtures and fittings in the hotel are new/well maintained. There were no 'scruffy' areas and I think that makes a real difference. Most importantly, every member of staff we dealt with was really polite. They seem to work like a big, but professional, family. I like how there were some tradesman doing some jobs at the hotel and asked if they could have a coffee - the receptionist replied 'of course!' which I just thought indicated their friendliness extended beyond paying guests. It's a lesson in how hotels should be run.

Company booked this hotel for local contract and as one would expect for corporate short stay has all facilites required, comfortable night sleep, good size rooms and free wifi. Breakfast was a cheap add on at 7.50 with highly attentive and friendly reception staff

We stayed 3 separate times over 3 weeks and each time we were greeted warmly, had a reasonably spacious room which was serviced very promptly each day. The ensuite had plenty of room and the hotel is well placed for the Chiswick High road, Hammersmith and the A4

We stayed here for one night in the cheapest option room which was situated in the back building of the hotel which is away from the main building. It's a short walk and this wasn't an issue. Parking was a bit of a fuss trying to get through a small passage but there was plenty of space. The actual room was nice and clean but very small! The only issue we had was that there was no hot water which caused us to change rooms in the morning to have a shower. We were given a discount on next return but probably won't be hurrying back any time soon.

Lovely two big rooms with a little corridor between, for use of son and family and the other room for myself and husband. Very clean, but hot - we could not seem to cool the room down even with window open and cold outside. great access for tube station. Easy to get into London. Chiswick High Road very pleasant area with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty to offer.

So glad I stumbled upon this hotel when booking a family London break, from the time of booking right through to end of the stay we found all staff extremely helpful. I booked direct with the hotel and spoke with the manager who offered great customer service. On arrival at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised at just how lovely it is. We were allocated the studio room which was amazing, modern, spacious, ideal for a family of four. The reception area and breakfast room was also very pleasant and breakfast was very good, a great selection of fresh food on offer. Great price for a very good hotel, ideally located for exploring London, being only a few tube stops away from usual tourist spots with the added benefit of free parking. Will 100% be using this hotel on further London trips.

This is the second time I have stayed at this particular Best Western, the brand which is very quickly becoming my group of choice. On each occasions the staff have been extremely welcoming and attentive, with very good local knowledge. The location for anywhere in Central London is very good as there is a tube station within a very short walking distance, from where you can link up with any tourist or business location. It has a small carpark and is surrounded by some very good places to eat, with a great choice of food types to choose from. There is a similar choice of places for a drink and relax. On my first stay I was upgraded to a very spacious room, where the décor and design was exceptionally good. This time I had a standard double room, which was not quite the same standard, but still very good. The atmosphere is very relaxed and unimposing in any way. I felt very comfortable coming and going to my business meetings and going out to eat in the evenings. If the location is right for your needs I would certainly recommend you try it. I will go again.

We went to see the Christmas spirit of London and we found this hotel at a very affordable price. it's a bit far off the main streets but with the underground connections you arrive in no time so its not a problem. the good thing was it is in a quiet location and a very pretty house. the rooms are very clean, the bed is cozy, the staff are very helpful, breakfast had everything you need to start a new day in big london, Excellent!

Modern , clean , breakfast wonderful , I would highly recommend this hotel , my second visit and still as good as last year , close to tube station , parking my car was very convenient . I was great full for that coming from Birmingham it's great help .

The room was modern, clean and the beds are great. The bathroom is a bit small but very clean and new, great shower. Breakfast was ok but the bread and pastry should be more fresh. Location is very good, a quiet area and public transport a few steps away. The staff is super friendly.

This hotel is located between 2 station of the District line and is relatively close to Hammersmith. There are also a few bus lines stopping nearby to various destinations. The hotel is relatively cheap, clean and the stuff is lovely and helpful. The breakfast is decent too. Also there are a few quality restaurants around.

just got back from a weekend in london and stayed in this hotel..the rooms were modern,light and wonderfully clean..the beds were so comfy..all mod cons and a wonderful welcome gift..i would definately recommend this hotel.. not far from stamford bank tube station(a short walk)

Convenient and cheap hotel close to the centre of London. Large, clean rooms for 2 people and we were both very happy with our accommodation. The breakfast could have been better though. As it is it felt a bit sparse.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was warm, clean, spacious and the staff were extremely friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate me and kindly moved me to another room away from the main street when I requested it. It's so refreshing to be greeted by friendly faces in the morning! They knew it was my birthday and handed me a lovely gift of toiletries to take home with me. The bathroom was spotless with a hot shower. I didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast but it looked like there was a lot on offer. I would definitely stay here again!

I like this hotel, I have stayed a few times, the location is just far enough outside central London to relax but close enough for ease of access. This time we booked a King Room and were put in the annex, which is actually a house that is at a right angle to the main hotel. The room was a nice size in a private location, had a private access down the side of the house, so we could come and go as we pleased. Lovely bathroom and a great power shower. Only criticism would no drawers to unpack into, just an open front wardrobe and some shelves.

This hotel I use everytime I stay in London. It has parking, close to the tube so 30 min to central London. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff and service is great. The rooms have got TV, Tea and Coffee facilities and great bathrooms with bath or shower. Towels are fresh as is the linen!

Easy to find, welcoming staff, room easily dealt with. Room larger than expected. Good range of facilities - shower, TV, hair dryer, lighting very good and all worked etc. Not much of a view but not that important. Bit of a noise from heating system outside but not that intrusive. Bed very comfortable. Room spotlessly clean with tea/coffee making facilities. Well carpetted room. Toilet/shower worked well; good range of toiletries & although small very well fitted out. Ground floor room & very quiet - excellent! Great facilities for a single room in the London area.

Booked here through Hotels.com for a 1 night stopover after attending a gig at Shepherds Bush. Nice comfortable hotel, situated in Chiswick on bus routes with lots to do in local area. Great, helpful, friendly staff, we were upgraded to a larger room. Very clean, great breakfast, parking,will certainly stay again.

Got a small room in the basement which i dont really mind since i just sleep there and air was ok. However, the checkin was very unfriendly (night concierge) and did not give any information as you are used to. The biggest issue is the sound level in the hotel, you can hear everything what happens on the corridor in the evening since the doors have 2 cm gap to the floor. Worst however is the morning when u can hear everything that happens on the ground floor and it sounds like there would be furniture moved around. Breakfast is limited and tables are barely cleaned. All i all ever worth the price or this location

checked in late at night -- very efficient - clean rooms - loads of tea / coffee / biscuits in the "kitchen" -- clean bathroom -- double bed and single bed --- everything really good -- following morning the breakfast was great - lots of choice -- guy on desk even came outside to show me where to catch the train -- would stay here again definitely

The hotel is great and in very nice location. The only not so good point is that some of the rooms are very small (i have stayed in 2 such rooms) and you feel like you don't have enough space. Other than that everything is really great and i would for sure recommend it to someone to stay there.

A very nice hotel, clean, friendly professional staff, the room was spacious with everything you could need. Excellent transport links to central London and a lovely high street with lots of individual shops. Our only issue was the noise outside our room. We were on the ground floor and we think because of the tiled floor the noise outside, breakfast being set up, people coming and going etc was massively amplified. We have stayed here before in different rooms and never had this problem. The people were not being exceptionally noisy it's just the acoustics which created the problem. It would not stop us staying again, we would request a room on another floor.

Very attentive staff who are very polite and helpful. Carried my bag to my room which was a very welcome service. Breakfast was very good quality and stress free. Room has air con which was welcome and bathroom was very modern and very clean. My only issue was the car park. It is free so that was a bonus but it is quite small and cramped. Once your car is in its a 90 point turn to get it out. I would advise getting to the hotel early to avoid this issue, Tube station is a 10 minute walk to the district line so quite useful. Main car park entrance is a bit hidden and is unfortunately on the corner of a junction so you may find you need to drive past and turn round to safety enter. Good wifi free in hotel

Nice and charming hotel, next to famous studio Metropolis in London. Nice streets, many transports available, shops open 24hours. Hotel was very clean and people very helpful 24/24. Breakfast top! I recommend it 100%.

The Best Western Chiswick was a quiet, clean hotel with friendly staff and a warm delicious breakfast to start the day. Close to two district line tube stops meaning you can be in central London in about 20 minutes.all the shops and restaurants on the Main Street give plenty of options for dining and necessities. Our room was a two double, large updated bathroom and plenty of storage. I would gladly return in the future.

What a stunning boutique hotel located in the heart of Chiswick, totally unexpected stopover en route to Heathrow airport due to delayed flight using a secret deal offer online and it was the most amazing place to be at. They must have just put the Christmas lights up because the decorations and "Wonderland" theme were spot on and we hadnt seen this before at a London hotel. Fantastic buffet breakfast with warm kind and brilliant service from all staff. We will definitely be sharing our experience with family and friends

Lovely place and grate location. So easy to hop on a bus etc into the centre of London. Lots to do around hotel too. Friendly staff, good breakfast. On site parking and you can leave your car while you pop around London.

I have stayed at the Chiswick Palace & Suites many times over the past 11 years. The Hotel is always clean comfortable and warm, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The location is ideal with plenty of bars restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is also easy access to all parts of London via Turnham Green tube Station located nearby. I stay here on business trips to the City and weekend breaks. It really is a home from home for my Wife and I.

Stayed one night only but the room was perfect. Clean and all the areas we say seemed recently upgraded. Breakfast excellent buffet with good choice. staff perfect and helpful, Could not fault anything.

Decent value given how expensive London is but: - The bathroom smelled bad when we turned on the water in the evening - We (unexpectedly) had a basement room with virtually no light The hotel is 25-40 minutes from central London by tube.

Room was very tidy and warm. The shower cabin was new and shiny. Everything worked fine. English buffet breakfast was excellent and tasty. Though the coffee could have been better. In the room the TV set was a bit small but working. The air cooler was also a good thing. To the wish list we would like to add a small fridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got excellent service. We have stayed in many hotels in London. The staff in Chiswick palace is definitely the best. The Chiswick area is very nice. There are several good restaurants and shops at the walking distance. The Tube stations are near. You walk easily to the Stamford Brook or Turnham Green station. District Line takes you anywhere you like. The coach line 27 Chalk Farm is a good choice. Travelling by bus is cheap.

The Best Western Chiswick Palace and suites really exceeded our expectations. We needed a hotel with parking, ideally with good access to M4 and booked in for 2 seperate nights in the same week. We had one larger room in the annexe and then a smaller room in the main building. Be aware that the annexe building does not have a lift. Hotel is on a busy road but we weren't bothered by outside noise and we slept very well. The hotel has fresh, modern decor throughout, is clean,comfortable and very efficiently run. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good value, entirely self service with plenty of fresh hot and cold options. Great transport links - tube and bus nearby and a great variety of cafes, bars and restaurants almost on the doorstep. We will certainly stay here again when we need a London stopover.

I didn't actually stay at the Best Western Chiswick Palace, but I booked on behalf of a colleague who was working in the area. Unfortunately there was a mistake with my booking and some confusion so he didn't end up staying but the hotel deducted the payment from our card. Upon speaking with the manager Soren, we quickly resolved the issue. I just wanted to say how helpful Soren was, he was very polite and understanding. Excellent customer service! Thank you.

I had the good fortune to stay at this hotel during a business trip to London recently and was pleasently surprised by the price, staff, cleanliness, and service. The standard was way above my expectations for the price. If you want a knot hole to the west of London to stay at please do yourself a favour and stay here. It has everything around it that you could possibly need and is a good base for a visit. I

Reception staff were lovely and friendly and were able to give us our two rooms next to each other and even an hour early. We were in an annexe and my room facing the room was very spacious and very clean. Towels, toiletries, hospitality tray and air con were all great. The only odd thing was that there were no bedside lights, so when reading before falling asleep I was in full glare of a ceiling full of spotlights, hoping no pilot would mistake room 67 for Heathrow. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. I know from previous stays that I prefer breakfast out of the hotel and there are plenty of places on the road outside. We like Outsider Tart a few metres away. We would recommend this hotel as very convenient for coming from the M4, parking onsite, a short walk to Turnham Green tube and lots offering options on Chiswick High Road. All in all it is good value too.

Stayed here on business the room I stayed in was in the main building and was fine for the time I was there. My colleagues had rooms in a separate building and they had basement rooms which were not so good as they were a little tight on space. Car parking is pre-booked so make sure you do! Also entrance into the main car park is very narrow, so if you have a larger vehicle you may want to request parking around the corner in front of the separate building. Breakfast is self service and a good spread, there were no evening meals available and the bar is also the reception desk, that said there are plenty of eating choices very nearby so no excuse not to try them. All in all a comfortable stay, I would stay again on business but ensure I am in the main building.

Birthday weekend away to see some sights, and this hotel provided the ideal base. Clean and tidy the double room was not large but was fine for the two night stay, and very well placed to jump on a tube into central London.

We were in the rooms in the annex this time, sadly no lifts there. Rooms were comfy and other facilities good. It was nice and quiet at the rear of the property. Breakfast as always was good, with plenty of choice.

Was in London for a short leisure trip . Loved the hotel as they provided professional and really friendly service, especially the guy Alston at the front desk for his attentive service . Will definitely be back.

Company booked over 20 rooms for 2 nights between the 18th and 20th of October. A couple of hours after checking out on the Friday I realised I had left an expensive jumper in my room so called immediately to ask to arrange for this to be posted to me which I was happy to pay for. I was told once called that any lost property is locked in the manager's office but that I would be called in the morning to let me know if it was in there. Of course i received no call the next morning and so asked to speak to the manager herself and was informed she had not checked for me and would call me back. Again, no call was received so I again called on Sunday and was told that they had "not had a chance to look for me" 3 days later! My guess would be that someone took a liking to the item of clothing and is not willing to take responsibility for it, so if you do not wish to have your lost property stolen do not stay here. I will most definitely be advising my company to not book here again!

This hotel is in my opinion one of the best choices in London. The price is great and the location as well - it is right at the subway station on a line leading to Westminster and further on along the river. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and pretty much nothing was missing. The room was well also very clean and well equipped, but I have to mention how tiny it was...really it could have been the smallest room I have ever experienced. BUT it did not matter, if you go to London you spend most of the time away anyway, so you only get to sleep in the room and that was absolutely fine. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows to chose from. The area around the hotel is full of restaurants, but otherwise very quiet and safe. Over all this hotel happened to be a very good choice.

Great location with easy access into London. Have stayed many times rooms vary in size but always clean, can be a little noisy if you get a road facing room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good value especially if booked in advance, will return again soon

We booked this hotel for two night stay to see parts of London it was in a good location, with parking. The tube is near by, so straight into London. The hotel was excellent, lovely clean and bright, the staff very polite and the room, although a little small, was adequate and clean and everything you needed. There was hot and cold food for breakfast, with plenty of fruit and juices to choose from and a lovely bright conservatory to eat it in. On the whole an excellent week-end. we would definitely stay again also recommend it to our friends.

Set in leafy up-market Chiswick, this is a delight of a hotel. Some rooms can be a little small (and the bathrooms even more so and I agree with other comments re discount pricing for these) but if you want a clean, well priced and comfortable place ideally situated for the airport, the West End and places like Richmond and Kew as well as Westfield shopping centre all easily accessible by public transport then look no further. The breakfast buffet is good value especially if booked in advance. The staff are efficient, helpful and friendly

I stayed here on two occasions. On my first stay the room was what I had expected for a single room however on my second stay I was slightly surprised by the room I was given. Admittedly I checked in late however I did make my booking and paid for my room in August so they knew I was coming. The room I was given was newly refurbished however it was in the basement and only had a window at ceiling height. The room was absolutely tiny and bring underground was claustrophobic. Had I had my large suitcase with me (fortunately it was at my sons house) it would not have fitted in the room! The bed was also appeared shorter than normal to fit in the room as my feet kept hitting the wardrobe. I rang to see if I could swap my room but was advised it was not possible. Fortunately the next morning another room became available otherwise I would have checked out. I definitely think the basement room should be at a discounted price and you should be advised of this at the time of booking. Had I known this, I would never have booked it!

Room and ensuite were of good quality. Whilst we were in the annex, it was a characterful building and had parking, a bit of a bonus for London. The staff in reception were friendly and helpful, although I would say the breakfast staff weren't particularly good with any request for menu choice. We had to select the best of the items from the breakfast buffet, some proved not worthy of finishing and noticed that other guests were making the best of certain items ie bacon sandwiches. Our room cards didn't work and we had several visits back across the courtyard to reception. Would we go back? Probably not, however if you want a good quality room with parking at a reasonable rate in London and you can put up with the not so great, but reasonably priced breakfast, then perhaps it's worth taking a gamble on the room cards!

I've now stayed here several times as it's close to family. Staff are always courteous and the room beautifully clean. Wi-fi free and functions well so I can get work done at a distance. Good value with a Great Western Rewards card.

THis hotel has changed beyond recognition in the years I've been using it. Now more modern facilities and decor. Serves a good breakfast and also close to numerous restaurants for the evening. Bus stops nearby to either Kew/Richmond or Hammersmith (and London),and District Line tube a short walk. Let down by niggling issues - the sink waste in bathroom wouldn't work propserly, air-con was not working properly and room was cold and, worst of all, the pillows were rock hard. Stairs in annex can be quite steep. But, good location and value overall. Very helpful and friendly management and staff.

My friends and I recently stayed here for 2 nights as we were in London for one of the American football games at Wembley stadium. We booked room only but we could have had a cooked breakfast for £7.99 each. There were four adults and we booked a family room which had a king size double bed and 2 single beds. The room was good and shower and toilet looked brand new, there was a television and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Some good pubs and restaurant's all around the locality which we found very handy. It was about a 300m walk from Stamford brook tube station on the District line which was ideal for getting in and around central London and only 40 mins and one change at Westminster to get to Wembley. All in all a good hotel with very friendly efficient staff in an ideal location for what we needed. I would use it AGAIN and reccomend to my family and friends.

We have stayed here multiple times. The hotel is very conveniently located in Chiswick on the High Road close to shops, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores etc . Public transportation is excellent with bus stops and a tube stop within minutes . The staff is very nice and helpful though I could have used a tutorial on the air conditioner. The hotel has undergone a recent makeover with very nice bathrooms in the larger rooms . My only complaint which I have mentioned every time I stay there is that the beds are very uncomfortable. They are old fashioned spring mattresses that are lumpy and saggy . I required 3 extra mattress pads on mine to be able to sleep . I must say they were provided immediately upon request . An investment in new beds would be a priority if I owned this lovely little hotel . All in all this is an excellent value for London and we will return often .

The location was great. Very nice area with many shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to London Underground. The bed was extremely uncomfortable however. The pillows were like planks and the bed seemed to slope. Other than that, it was a nice, quiet hotel.

A smartly refurbished nest of houses in Chiswick, nice people, good parking, but with a dark secret. My room was a windowless cellar. About 75 square feet (ie, room for a bed, and space to walk carefully around it), a small square hatch high in one wall opened to a sort of mirrored shaft which rose to a ground level glass paving piece. A feeble current of fresh air meandered down to the depths. The mobile signal did not. The shower was OK, but the shower room so small that you cant actually sit on the loo without arranging yourself around the basin. Immaculately clean, and newly done up, but I cannot work out how they got planning permission for these rooms. The whole basement is divided into windowless cellars. Bed and linens OK, pillows ghastly (but I always bring my own). Not a keeper.

I stayed here for one night with a member of my staff as we were in London for a trade fair. The hotel was easy to find & the parking adequate and free which counts for a lot in London. The rooms were very clean and spacious and I slept like a log on the extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was a little on the small size but as I was only there for one night it was not a major problem. Check in and check out was quick and easy and the breakfast was adequate without being either sparse or sumptuous. I've never stopped in the Chiswick area of London before but there were a number of bars and restaurants nearby which catered for a bit of relaxation time too. All in all good value for money and recommended.

This was our second stay at the Best Western Chiswick and once again it did not disappoint us. The check in was so easy and being able to leave our bags and venture off into a London, as we were early was great. Our room was in the annex, accessible via a security door (key operated), which I found very reassuring for security. The room was a nice size, very clean, comfortable bed and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom facilities were grand. The only downside to our room was a constant humming noise throughout the night. I switched off the air con unit, the heated towel rail and extractor fan, but it was still there. I assume it must have been one of these items running in a room above us. It was annoying, even the ear plugs didn't block it out completely. We had breakfast each morning, the bacon & eggs for breakfast were fine, the pastries a bit dry, seemed slightly stale, there was a limited ham and cheese selection which was ok. I have to compliment the staff however, each were very pleasant, welcoming, friendly. This was excellent customer service. Thank You.

We have stayed in this excellent hotel several times over the last few years and have always found it to be ideal for doing various things in London as it is well placed for using most forms of public transport. An added bonus is the free on-site parking. The hotel is very well run, clean and employs friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is good and there are also several restaurants nearby. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a really good stay here, on arrival we were told that they had upgraded our room and it was modern, clean and had all the amenities needed (toiletries, hairdryer etc). Parking was good as we pre-booked a space. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Great location for a hotel, plenty of transport into central London. Would definitely stay again :)

Stayed for a night here last week, the room on the top floor had recently been refurbished and was very clean and well presented. It's very convenient for the tube and Sipsmith distillery.the breakfast was very good with cold and hot dishes which were of a very good standard. Lastly and most importantly the staff were very helpful and positive.

Great location, the hotel is surrounded by multiple restaurants and places all walking distance. The room was nice and clean, same the bathroom. Breakfast was not included but we decided to pay for it the day fore which will save you a few bucks. I was a good breakfast, fruits, eggs and some of the English breakfast ingredients like the beans and English bacon which I absolutely loved it. Free WIFI and parking but it seems you have to call and advance to let them know you'll bring a car cause the parking lot is small, actually when we got there it was full and we were considering booking a different hotel but somehow they found a spot. Also very tricky to get in the parking lot, very narrow so be careful. In general great service.

Really nice hotel . Parking a big bonus that close into London . Rooms were lively and clean and well appointed . £7.50 for pre booked breakfast , what a bargain and plenty to eat . Definitely staying here again .

My wife and I stayed here last night The room was nice We had a reserve car parking space which we paid for but someone took our spot. When we returned late in the evening we just left our car. There was no room to park everyone was squeezed in. THE PARKING WAS A JOKE I am disabled driver. There was no disabled parking space. In the morning the cold items of breakfast was very tasty but the cooked items were luke warm the plates should have been at least warm but they cold so the breakfast went cold. We will be looking elsewhere next time in London

A nice hotel with nice, helpful staff. Very convenient location with parking for access to M4 etc and public transport to Central London. As with other reviews here, make sure to pre-book parking if you are going to arrive late (£12 total no matter how long/short your stay is) and ask for an appropriate sized bedroom and location, as the size and noise level clearly varies. Although I was alone, I asked for a double bed and was allocated one on the top floor which was undergoing refurbishment and so was roomy, clean, 'new' and quiet. Breakfast was also good, although it would be nice to have a muesli/granola option for the cereals.

Car parking very good, receptionists were both welcoming and friendly. We were offered reduced cost for breakfast, we normally would not bother with, however, we took the offer and enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Room was spotless with good facilities. Location was perfect with easy walk to tube and 30 min ride to central London

Stayed for two days,Great location,good parking ,breakfast was very good value for money ,for the price it's an unbeatable hotel ,the staff are very polite and helpful,if you are a light sleeper you would be advised to ask for a room at the back of the hotel ,the front rooms although double glazed ,at certain times , street noise can be heard ,but overall we will definitely stay here again

This was a short notice Internet booking on a long weekend. Room was in the basement so bit dubious but was fine very quiet. Great water pressure and large bath sheets. Room had small window that you have couldn't open but had a fan that moved the air or air conditioning. Bed comfortable wardrobe room safe and quick response when hair dryer didn't work. Would stay again.

When staff litterally shrug at you it says a lot, the didnt even stand up out of their chairs to pass the key cards, i was sorry to inconvenience them with checking in but i did need a room to stay in, if i didnt already have a reservation i would have looked elsewhere. The hotel was clean but dont expect anything in the way of service or a hint of politeness.

Parking was free and room 61 was big & comfy. Glad we didn't go to Clayton where other family stayed. We didn't do their breakfast because we had a stove and bought supplies from nearby Sainsbury's Local

The staff was unfriendly when we asked for shampoo and conditioner. They said it was already in there and it wasn't. We rented 2 rooms and they both didn't have any. The hotel clerk was unhelpful. The rooms were also small. We had points and they were still trying to charge us for both rooms.

I stayed in room 75 in one of the side wings. Pros: Excellent location in Chiswick. Close to public transport, restaurants and pubs. Also close to two parks. The room was well appointed, comfortable bed, very clean with an updated ensuite. The room overlooked the courtyard and had lovely sun come in through the day. Good water pressure/temp and free wi-fi. Airconditioning/Heating in rooms. Also generous with the towels which is much appreciated! The toiletries provided were good but I personally do prefer a bar of soap rather than hand/body wash and no conditioner. Negatives: The room was on the "top" floor with no elevator and three sets of steep stairs. Fine for me but not if you required help. The gentleman who showed me to my room didn't even offer to assist which would have been a nice gesture. Also being a converted home, you do hear othet rooms, water being used etc. Easily resolved with earplugs. No glass glasses provided and it would be good to have a shelf in the shower for personal toiletries. Overall would definitely stay again.
