Best Western Detroit Livonia

Booked a Jacuzzi room for husband's birthday, room was filthy especially for a $250 a night room. Everything looked rundown. Chipped paint, stains, etc... We didn't even stay the night, just ended up driving back home.

It was used by me and my husband for a child free weekend. The Jacuzzi was fantastic and the room was clean nice and cozy. It was very quiet and relaxing as well. We will definitely visit again next time.

The Best Western Livonia on 16999 S Laurel St is hands down the best Best Western I've stayed in I love the staff my favorite is the Manager/Desk Associate Dominic her pleasant smile and inviting ways just make you feel welcomed and appreciated

I wish I could post pi tures of the room because this would show what I had to deal with and on top of that there still hasnt been a reach out to me to return my money this is a joke from management on down I would not stay at Best Western you have been forewarned

Very pleasant, relaxing stay. Delightful staff and the in-room jacuzzi was wonderful. We particularly appreciated the cheerful and accommodating staff. Thank you for a wonderful mini-vacation. We'll be back.

They will tell you that you're having a party and charge you for it. Do not go if you're trying to treat your children to the pool they will tell you you're having a party and charge you for it. They will lie about sheets and carpet stains.

First off be sure to follow up and check your charges on your credit card. I tried questioning it at checkout and she said she can't do anything right now but it'll be taken care of later and then sure enough I was overcharged had to waste a lot of time, correcting this still waiting for refund Secondly do not eat any of the food, cold stale, terrible tasting . Don't be in any hurry for any kind of hot water. It'll take a while. Room Could definitely use some repairs, and upgrades.

I booked two rooms for me and my family for one night for a funeral. I must say we really did like my brother and his wife took advantage of hotel gym and the kids did go to the pool briefly when we came back from dinner.

Room were clean and functional. Has TV, microwave refrigerator, air conditioning, lamps on table have an AC outlet making it easy to plug in electronic devices. Hotel has a coin operated laundry with two washers and two dryers.

The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The hotel was not clean. I was there 3 days and the same dirt was in the hallways. They did not clean my room 1 day. They needed to pick up trash outside of the hotel as well. Ice machine was only on the first floor. Area was safe.

Dom at the front desk is my favorite person I've met while traveling. Just a real person. She helped me in every way she could and always made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10. I will be stopping back here and staying again on my next trip.

The staff is very helpful and responsive, breakfast is great, room is always clean. Nice place to stay when traveling from out of town. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance for dinner.

The hotel is nasty and staff is unprofessional. I was greeted by disheveled staff in leggings and hair uncombed. I was handed a NO SMOKING POLICY but was informed guest smoke anyway. The hotel smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Staff greeted and referred to my husband by the name tightbutt. My room smelled of moth balls and there was a crusted over substance on the counter. Staff handled food for breakfast without gloves while holding loud and personal conversations on their cell phone. This hotel needs to be managed, upgraded or shut down

Entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room was not cleaned even though we were gone in time for housekeeping. There was not enough toiletries. The pool was dirty. Very disappointed by online reviews that I read ahead of time. I do not recommend staying here.

As a family with two young boys, we chose BW Livonia after going over pretty much every hotel on hotels.com in the Detroit and the surrounding area, based on the following criteria: 1) Must have breakfast 2) Must have swimming pool 3) Must have free parking 4) Must have fully refundable option 5) Must be under CAD 150 / night. And every time we looked, over 2-3 weeks, we kept coming back to this BW in Livonia. And we were not disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We interacted mostly with Dominic and Andy. They were extremely professional, knowledeable ,polite and helpful. So was the hotel manager, who was always around in the mornings, during the breakfast buffet. Hotel is clean, modern, quiet, and a pleasure to even just hang around in. Breakfast is really good and so is the pool.

The hotel was overall an excellent place. Some rooms are older but being renovated. The renovations were not intrusive during my stay. My room was quiet with no traffic or noise from other rooms. The breakfast selections were a small variety and could vary day to day. They do have coffee available 24/7 which was a plus to me. There is a small patio behind the pool area that could use some new cushions but was otherwise a nice surprise. My room and bedding were clean. The furniture was clean with no stains. I will definitely be staying here when I'm in the area

Nice property easy to get to, good location close to a mall and some restaurants. The property has been renovated in the past 5 years. its bright and inviting. The pool is nice. The fitness room could use some upgraded equipment but you can stil get in a decent workout. The breakfast was good and met the need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would say here again.

I traveled to Michigan for a friends upcoming wedding. I book Best Western anytime I travel unless with another party's package deal. I enjoyed my stay, the staff, and the complimentary hot breakfast.

I basically had to clean the room myself...Check in was a nightmare they couldn't find my reservation even though I booked through the hotel website. On line never mentioned a $100.00 deposit. The clerk even looked on line herself.

We are Best Western Platinum members and we are very disappointed with our recent stay at the Livonia location. Our first room had a strong odor of pot so we were given a second room across the hall. The jacuzzi tub has a high step over and I wouldn't recommend these to anyone with balance or mobility issues as you could fall! The smoke detector had a plastic bag tied around it, (photo) The heat fan is loud and cycles all night. Dirty carpeting not vacuumed under bed. Kids running down upstairs hallway unsupervised. Stairway carpeting hasn't been vacuumed in a long time. Toilet in adjoining room running all night. Another Best Western hotel with deteriorating standards. We are going to switch brands and try the competition from here on.

Nice hotel, bad odor in hallway due to two trash bags being left there, had to plug my nose just to walk by. I did enjoy the deepness of the bathtub. The walls are pretty thin, I did wake up to loud talking, a crying baby

I had the pleasure of staying here from New year eve until new year day. It was a wonderful time my baby enjoyed the pool. Staff was very nice and helpful. Especially the ladies at the front desk. I will go back.

This hotel is by far one of the best in the area as far as price and customer service! quality of rooms and their breakfast is absolutely out of this world!!! The employees here have the best attitudes I have found and customer service is absolutely exceptional! I would highly recommend staying here if you are in this area

We Stayed at this hotel for 1 night when coming back to our home town for an event. It was the least expensive option in the area where we wanted to be and exceeded expectations in all categories. We would stay there again, even if further away from a future event as this hotel was nicer than others we'd stayed at in this area that were more expensive.

The room had a weird stench. Woke up with a pain in the neck…pillows were too big or not as cushy. Carpet was musty. Needed to keep shoes on all the time. Though I'd left an item at the Hotel. I called three days in a row after check out. They promised to check with room service each day but never called back.

The 2 girls working the front desk at the hotel were awesome and very patient. I was having card problems even tho the funds were there so one of the workers helped me transfer my $ to another card so my card would go thru. Awesome people. Nice hotel!

When you have the ability to correct or improve based on a rating, then in all fairness let it be said, this hotel needs to step it up. When I stay in a hotel, I want the sheets to be soft, the kleenex to be soft and the toilet paper to be soft. Why do you ask? Because each of the touch my skin, and I like to feel fresh and relaxed when I stay at a hotel. The beds here were very uncomfortable and I woke up with a stiff neck and a very sore back. The pillows were old and lumpy and the mattress was far to soft or the springs were just bad all around. The breakfast was just ok... The Sausages were undercooked and were GREY...They should at least be BROWNED in a skillet, before being served. Overall, the staff were nice but I had overheard other guests complaining about the water pressure in their bathrooms, and their toilet not working correctly.

I've stayed here a few times. Overall good, the gravy tastes like vomit. Other than that 10/10 close to the football Area for half the pay. Willing to stay again for next football game just don't plan to eat breakfast

I had a great time at this hotel and the best sleep. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The hotel was very clean and the room was clean and comfortable.The breakfast was great. The location was great and the hotel was near a shopping mall and there were a few restaurants near by. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Arrived for Check-in to be informed system was down. The staff was doing everything in their power to assist everyone. I asked to speak to the GM, he was not in but would be the next am. of course the next am the GM was still not in. I sent him an email on Monday evening, it is now Sunday and still no response from him.

Was traveling solo for 12 hours of driving. Arrived around 10 pm and met Dominic at front desk. She went above and beyond to help me as I was exhausted. She found me a luggage cart and even brought ice to me room since my floor didn't have an ice machine. She went above and beyond to make my trip great. Hotel was clean and all the employees were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend the Best Wesoin Livonia!

Arrived at the Hotel after the Detroit Tigers game. Great day as Riley Greene hit his first MLB homerun on a walk off shot to deep center field. Hotel is located off the expressway next to a Red Robin and Buffalo wild wings. The hotel was clean and the front desk gentlemen was really nice. They were resealing the parking lot so parking was a little tight but overall was fine. Pool was a bit chilly but it felt great after being out in Sun watching the Tigers. Breakfast was spot on!

Had we been told when checking in for 2 nights that the room we were being offered is slated for renovation and only has a child size toilet, we would have gone elsewhere. In order to shower we had to climb up over a half-wall of what appeared to be a modified, non-working jacuzzi. There were also black blotches on the tub wall that looked like mold. We decided not to shower. Also, the toilet seemed small and when we sat on the seat – that confirmed the toile was child height. For us older adults that meant a bit of squatting. We tried to change rooms in the morning but none were available and no one new when the Manger would be in. I left a message for him to call me and left for our planned activities, He never called so by 3pm we had to return to hotel and found him. He informed us that the room renovations were not completed because of COVID delays and that rooms had kid size toilets. The only replacement room offerred had a saggy mattress ( that should be replaced) so we had no choice but to remain in original room and shower when we got home. Manager was not apologetic and quite dismissive when I requested an adjustment to compensate for the shotcomings.

I have a few complaints about my hotel stay. 1. The pool was not open the majority of time of my stay at the hotel 2. When the pool was open there were other kids in the pool that had no adults present. And the kids were not being respectful and we're coming close to me and not having any personal space. There was also a little girl that was running around the pool. 3. We asked for housekeeping 2 times and never received housekeeping 4. People were playing loud music in the morning and kids were running up and down the hallway at 11pm night and late at night 3am. 5. Staff was rude when asked for housekeeping and also asked for Towels and trash bag and the main desk staff just rolled her eyes, not very professional. 6. especially on Sunday my friend and i heard loud music and kids stomping, running and screaming for several hours in the morning.

I was visiting the area from a different state to find a place to live in a couple months. This was a very good deal compared to other hotels and Airbnb's I looked at. The staff was very pleasant during check in and check out was very quick! I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I could only make it one night. The bed was horrible, it was hard and my side was on an incline and my entire body hurt from trying to NOT role into my husband all night. The room was freezing (we could actually feel a draft from the heater!), but we couldn't turn the heater on because it was deafening! The refurbished jacuzzi tub/shower was so difficult to get into and out of I almost slipped and fell. Nobody has cared to make the situation right for us. Do yourself a favor, don't stay!

I love the size of the Jacuzzi. Staff was a great the breakfast was great with lots of choices. Pool was clean they had heat on in the pool room and the pool water was lukewarm which was great. I'll be staying again this has become one of my favorite spots to get away.

The staff at check-in was pleasant Not much in the way of mentioning diamond awards members. Express checkout wasn't offered. Due to short staffing extra linens and pillows were not available. The jacuzzi room was clean and nice. The person taking care of breakfast didn't really maintain it. The area could have been stocked and cleaned better but she wasn't around much to do that.

Stay here if you don't mind bugs crawling all over the room. If the bugs didn't keep us awake the mattress sure did with the wire edges. Breakfast was burnt, stale and lacked variety. If you think you're going to get a relaxing night after a long trip, better find another place to stay.

This was probably the best stay in a hotel I have had in a long time. Room was very clean & nice. The staff was wonderful. I will be back & recommend it to all of my friends & family. Traveling can be an ordeal that is why having such a helpful staff makes a journey so much easier

The check-in clerk was fantastic . He was so welcoming and nice. He explained everything to me . He also signed me up for rewards. It was just a really nice few good experience . Please thank him for me!

This was our family's second time staying here. First visit was okay, no problems. However, our second stay there was very disappointing. We had BED BUGS in our room. I spotted 3 of them in the beds. I was so disgusted and appalled. I immediately went to the front desk with bed bug in a cup. The clerk did not have an alarming reaction which surprised me.....like it was not a big deal. She offered us to go to a new room on another floor and a free stay......NO THANK YOU!!!! WE will NOT be staying at BEST WESTERN!!!!

The hotel room was outdated. Bathroom was designed for use by a toddler. Toilet was only 13" tall and shower was very narrow. Seemed like the whole Bathroom was set up for children to use. Food court person would look at the empty food and drink stations yet wouldn't refill them

We had $60 in gift cards from the summer promotion Best Western was running so we decided to get a Jacuzzi room for our anniversary. I had no complaints. The staff were pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a week night so it was nice and quiet. They are back to serving a hot breakfast and the automatic pancake maker was so much nicer than when you have to dispense your own batter and pour it into the waffle maker yourself. Makes for a cleaner counter. We did not use the pool. I would stay here again.

For an affordable place to stay that has a pool and a breakfast and is in a Great Location, come here. You also get a refrigerator and microwave. The bed and pillows are soft enough. The staff is super friend and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay. We had to come up here for a funeral, and wanted a place close to the funeral home. This is what I chose, and I was very glad I did. It was clean, the staff was friendly (especially the lady who checked us in- she was fantastic, and I am sorry I did not get her name). It is close to shopping and places to eat, and very easy to find. Didn't get to use the indoor pool or fitness area, but everything was well maintained. Free breakfast in the morning, too! Bey pleased with our stay, and we will definitely choose Best Western again in the future!

I came down to visit my grandson for his graduation and I really had a nice day after Best Western hotel and we didn't use the pool for the pool looked it really clean and look great and I want to thank the reception that check us in is really really nice

Secured doors by stairwell exit do not lock and no security, smell of dogs in hallway, front desk staff inept. I would never refer anyone to this facility. Just a step above a motel 6. Give it 1 star. Choose any other place!!!!;

For the prices, I can't really complain too much. Hotel is somewhat dated. AC in first room did not work, but staff located another room, but the extra 30+ minutes were disappointing after long day of travel. Noisy neighbors - but that could be any hotel. Not sure if in MI the COVID regulations still required a bag breakfast - but that was very disappointing, to buy breakfast on 2 of 3 days raises the overall price of the stay. Again, not sure about COVID, but only got "room service" one day of three. The AC had a musty smell and fan is the "always on" kind, so loud when sleeping. Next time I will look for another option in the area.

1st outing of the summer since the covid take over and boy was this disappointing !!!! The mattress was harder than the floor , hot breakfast was a bagged lunch, housekeeping never arrived didn't receive our daily linen

For what was described as a non-smoking hotel I've never smelled so much weed smoke in my life. The carpet in the room was dirty, it still had blunt papers on the floor along with the Bobby pins. The smoke detector had a bag tied over it from the previous occupant. The shower was barely functional, the tub had a hole in it and only the shower function worked. When complaints were made about the weed nothing was done. I would only recommend if you are looking for a contact high. If I could give zero stars I would.

It was a very beautiful experience. The hotel was Immaculate and the room was beautiful. My Husband and I were able to enjoy our stay without any interruptions or anything. Everything in our room was working and functioning properly. I was super impressed and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place for a weekend getaway.

I know covid is going on but I believe if your traveling and staying at a hotel for 4 or more days your room should be at least cleaned once..plus we had 3 children with us... I had to clean daily on our vacation with our grandkids, they had no carts available upon check-in to bring all of our things to the room, went to dinner came back and still no carts available. Ended up using a laundry cart four times by and forth to get our belongings to the room, I had a messed up knee, requested a working tub, did not work until they sent maintenance the next day to check.. They did switch our room. But don't expect to sleep in with housekeeping, they are loud in the morning will wake up any children..

I enjoyed my stay here, the jacuzzi was exactly how imagined it, reasonably internet and cable for your stay and a comfy king size bed, heated pool and grab and go breakfast for your convenience great stay!

I am shocked anyone would leave a poor review. The property was nice. Staff accommodating. Shantel was the best. The price was amazing. $63 a night and there's a great promo for rewards members. We are booking another stay for this weekend

I don't see how this place has a rating of four out of five. It in my opinion is nowhere near. The cleaning staff needs to be way more attentive. I had to clean the head boards that had visible residue all over them. Parts of the wall had visible residue as well. The tables were not clean either so I cleaned them. The refrigerator was disgustingly filthy. The clorox wipe was brown after I was finished with it. The carpet looked as if it was just barely vacuumed. The bathroom appeared clean. The worst part about the room where the abhorrent curtains. I don't know how much hotel curtains cost but the cost will be worth it. Those curtains had cringe worthy stains on them. There were even stains the appeared to be blood. I mean why are those still hanging? The lobby and pool were nice. Couldn't get a late checkout due to covid according to front desk staff. Apparently covid doesn't inspire them to clean better though. I have photos but they are apparently too big for the TripAdvisor server.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was very nice and comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious. We were able to get some much needed R&R. We will stay there again.

In one of my rooms both the sheets and comforters were dirty. My other room the light switch didn't work, I don't know if it needed a bulb or not. This is one of my worst stays in this hotel. Never again

I will NEVER stay in this hell hole AGAIN!!! The entire second floor smell like stinky feet. Timberlands in the hallway, people running up and down the halls at 3am and again a 6am. Coffee maker look like someone masturbated inside the water chamber. Housekeeping entered my room without permission, with my purse, money, ID and credit cards laying on the bed. When I complained, I was told they can enter your room whenever they want...NEVER AGAIN!!!

I highly recommend this place. Comfy quiet clean the teams was nice and professional. Don't know the guys name at the front desk. He was willing to please. Very professional and nice. He's a black guy on the chubby side lol brown complexion low hair cut. About 5'9-6'0. The staff was nice.

Bedding & towels were clean, hotel was clean but did have some trash in the hallways. It met our need of a place to rest & shower. We got it at a great rate, which helped us to accept some of the B+ level of the stay. If our need repeats in the same area, & we are able to get the same rate, we would likely use the hotel again.

I must say when I first checked in the front desk clerk Shantel was very friendly and patient with all of the customers including myself and it was New Years Eve it was a lot going on and she keep her cool through it all. Then Manger Jennifer took professionalism to another level she took on so much new eve night and still stayed professional. Jennifer made sure all was handle as if each person was the only one there to care for. The morning front desk clerk Mark was also very friendly and when I told him about the nose the night before he moved me to a room that I was able to get rest and the room was very nice to say the least. Even the maintenance staff was so nice and helpful. This by far was one of my best stays at a hotel. The heated pool was also a plus!

Goldfish (crackers) were all against the bed and the headboard of the bed. If it was summer time there would be ants.Toilet kept on running and microwave beeped all night.This was a suite and it was super dirty. By far have never once had to do sooo much labor trying to fix stuff then I stayed at a hotel.

For the price it's ok nothing special, The room was ok bed comfortable the bathroom has seen better days shower curtain was thread bare a good effect for just being in the way. Breakfast it's a grab and go so really the bare minimum everything is closed

This location used to be very nice when I have stayed there in the past, but is now rundown and unkept. Booked this location due to the fact they have deep jetted tubs, well tub jets were capped, had mold around jets and tub wall. Carpet in room and hallways was stained and had holes.

I have been to many hotels this past year and this one had zero coffee for its guest other than what was in the room. Not very Kool. Room was not vacuumed very well. And there were these strange ruts in the floor. Not sure what they were. I almost twisted my ankle on one in the middle of the night.

The service was not ok at all the man at the counter had an attitude about everything I asked him and even didn't want to give me the goody bag. My room was very dirty there were rose peddles left over the tube was falling apart as I was taking a shower.

Check in was not pleasant, their rates were significantly higher year over year however due to "covid-19" they offered no breakfast, no business services, no compensation on room rate. When I asked for another towel, they said "you'll have to come get it, I'm the only one here". Hotel was not very clean inside or out and on last day, walked past a room with music blaring. Would advise to avoid this place -- I most definitely will never go back.

While everybody staying away from hotels I think it's a great place to visit him or time to visit them as the prices are good and the rooms are so clean right now and Best Western has the best professional staff when it comes to the rewards program thank you so much

We rented a whirlpool room for my birthday. The hotel was close to the event we attended and restaurant we wanted to eat at. The staff was very professional and polite and the room was very clean and well kept.

I got a great room in a nice hotel in a great spot in Livonia, Michigan. My room had a great king bed, spacious restroom with a perfect shower stall. The breakfast was great, the hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Our room was warm and cozy even with snow and cold winds that were hitting the hotel for 3 days. There are two restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and also a shopping mall and theater across the street within walking distance. My experience at this hotel was great.

It is a very nice hotel just off the Interstate and also across from a Mall. The rooms, common areas and the pool were clean and well decorated. The Staff were all awesome and I have to send a SALUTE to Joe and John (2 Maintenance people who work there. The breakfast was buffet style with both hot and cold selections.Next door they have a few restaurants so making lunch or dinner decisions are relatively easy. Not to mention a Bottomless Float at The Red Robin made the experience all the better (Never had a bottomless Root Beer Float before), sure fillng for a lunch. Consider staying there when in the area, above all, ENJOY !!

From check in to check out the stay was great. The Manager Susan was there when we checked in and just as we where leaving and made sure all was good. Red Robin and BW's was right there and made dinner plans easy and close.

We were in for a family wedding nearby and stumbled across this BW in the midst of many choices near Laurel Park Mall. The first indication that we'd found the right place was the friendliness of the front desk manager, Mark. He welcomed us and offered to prepare a room asap so we could leave our stuff ahead of the 2pm wedding. When we arrived he was again, most professional and helpful. Not only did he get us a room right away, but I had time for my laps in the gorgeous indoor heated pool! The room was spotless, the linens were crisp clean cotton and the facilities were up to the usual Best Western standards. I will stay here again!

We made reservations for and arranged for payment for 2 guests for 2 nights, with specific instructions that the stay was for ONLY 2 nights. We requested and received a check out invoice, ending the transaction, which showed our card was charged for 2 nights as specified. Then, the hotel allowed one of the guests to pay cash for a third night because we clearly specified 2 nights only. One week later we get another bill for a week's stay because, according to the general manager Susan, the guest told the hotel that we said it was ok. This may or may not be true as the guest in question denies it, saying the hotel agreed to daily cash payments. The hotel never contacted us for permission for continued charges on our card. We never gave our consent to more than 2 nights at this hotel. When we called to ask questions, Susan confirmed that the situation was their mistake, and apologized, promising to refund our money. She also confided that the guest in question was actually on their "do not rent to" list; which we did not know, and were never told when we gave the name of the guest at the time of the original booking. Weeks later, the charges are still not removed from our card, and Susan, the general manager won't take our calls, and won't respond to any of our efforts at contacting her. We will NEVER do business with another Best Western. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The rooms were clean and quiet, the breakfast was decent, staff is friendly, and overall this is a decent place to stay. However, they have terrible coffee. Surely they can find better coffee than the f-word of coffees - Folgers. Other than the coffee, this hotel is bargain priced and a lot better deal than the nearby pricier hotels.

Every staff member from reservation to housekeeping provided friendly superior service. Room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting family. Breakfast was an-added bonus. Ither neighboring hotels were more expensive and did not offer

Pros: fantastic service, clean nice atmosphere, hot tub in the room was awesome, pool was warm and nice, Great location close to mall, restaurants and Freeway. Cons: Breakfast… Mostly carbs and eggs were like hockey pucks, floor in pool area slippery, bed was hard as a rock! I slept on top of the bedding and kept asking for extra blankets in order to create softer layers But was still hard after about 14 layers of bedding.

We went to Livonia to do some Christmas shopping. The hotel was centrally located for us and easy to get to. The hotel was quiet, no outside noise and very little guest noise. The breakfast was adequate.

Great staff here. The breakfast is very good although I'd change up the sausage selection as they were not very tasty. The selection for breakfast is above par. The person who runs this area is very caring and makes you feel at home w;ith decorations and so forth. The rooms are clean and very quiet. Love this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting the area. Hotel is convenient to the highway and has plenty of restaurant options near by. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our room rate - food offered was OK but the same stuff every day for 4 days got old. The coffee was horrible - it was instant coffee dispensed from a machine. We were told a new coffee machine had been ordered. Quiet for the most part but one night the room next door was loud and rowdy until 3:30am and the next night the people on our floor were in and out of their rooms until very late and doors kept slamming and waking us up. The TV, refrigerator, and microwave were in excellent working condition. Area is safe and staff is friendly. We would stay again.

This location is amazing! It has an exceptional staff, great breakfast variety, and it's safe. Bre, the night manager is very nice. She takes pride in her work and provides excellent customer service. Ta'Ida is a wonderful person! She listens and ensures your stay is satisfactory. Thank you!

Well-placed, conveniently accessible hotel with a great in-room jacuzzi which was a nice, relaxing bonus. Breakfast included in the rate and went beyond the basic toast/pastry/coffee servings. They also have a big pool (didn't use) and a nice, albeit small, exercise room that was obviously recently redone and clean. The facility itself is showing some wear-and-tear and rough here-and-there around the edges but considering the rate and what was included, very well worth it. Nice customer service, too that went along with the chocolate chip cookies greeting you upon entry! :-)

Our stay was very enjoyable . Visiting family. Perfect location shops ,restaurants, highway access. Clean friendly service. Would definitely stay again. Very quiet. The staff was helpful. The only thing is no laundry. We were on a cross country trip so that would have been great.

We had booked a hotel for a UMich game but the hotel was absolute garbage. This hotel was mostly booked up but had a room last minute. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect for us because we were between Ann Arbor and Detroit. The front desk staff was great and accommodating. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was a great way to start our day. I would stay here again.

Booked late for a UMich event and everything closer was sky high so ended up here. Bathroom smelled badly of mildew which stunk up the entire room. I think the shower curtain was the culprit. Breakfast buffet was poor, hot food was not edible. Weight training machine in gym was broken.

I stayed at this property last year and had a very positive experience. However, this stay was a visit from hell. I tried to check in late and there was no one at the desk. Police officers were trying to find the front desk agent. Eventually, after waiting an hour, I finally got checked in. My bath tub was filthy, and the room smelled of mildew. Another bummer. I booked this rooms for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend and it got spoiled. The next morning, the breakfast lady was awesome. She always smiles and gives great conversation as well. I tried to explain my problems to the African american woman with blonde hair that I remembered from my last stay at this property, just to find out that she no longer worked there. That was ANOTHER bummer. She was very friendly and always accommodating..I just left disappointed. I will never stay at this property again. It has been ran down and needs renovations. Also, the pool is still not opened.

It was very nice and the rooms were nice and clean. Everyone was very pleasant. The breakfast was very good with a large selection. I would recommend this hotel. I am looking forward to staying here again.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at this Best Western. The price is very good compared to other hotels and I know why. The housekeeping was very poor. I stayed for two nights, trash was left in the hall way. Along with dirty towels. In addition to the bedding not being changed or anything being wiped down. I also received an email from the manager who failed to acknowledge poor housing keeping behaviors. Never again.

Nice room. Staff friendly. Location is excellent for food, grocery, actually just about whatever you may need!! Website indicated outdoor swimming. Not true their making it indoor & not available for use yet. I left some items behind in room. My husband called & they had not been turned in!! NOT KOOL!!!!!

I would like to share the worst experience of my life with Best Western. My booking dates were from 20-Aug to 7-Sep and on the very first day the staff charged me for the entire amount which got deducted from my Travel card and after completing one week they were only suppose to adjust the amount of one weeks stay from my total payment which was done on the check-in date.However, they reauthorized my travel card again for the entire amount which caused double deduction from my travel card. When I went upto the lady manager she instead of helping only kept repeating that we did not deduct, we did not deduct. Later, one of the staff member said that the double deducted balance amount might get reversed in your card.I am still staying here but trust me the staff here has very little knowledge on the billing system. They double charge you instead of charging only upto for 1 week if your stay is going to be more than a week. End of the day if the customer is not using a credit card then even if the amount would get reversed but till those many days you are blocking the customers/foreign travellers money. This is the worst billing system ever experienced for the first time in US.

Stayed two separate nights for Prometric examination which is <1 minute drive. Hotel is clean, well kept, quiet. Large rooms with comfortable bed. Spacious restroom. WiFi is good and reliable. No outside noise. Breakfast is nice. Mix of cold and warm. Friendly staff. Would stay again / recommend. Reasonable price.

Had to switch rooms due to hot tube not working properly. Preferred rate was not honored even though proof of rate was printed and shown to reception and manager? We did not use the breakfast area, only picked up a coffee. It did look good, everything from waffles to cereal breads muffins yogurt etc.

I was leery staying at a Best Western, after working afternoon housekeeping in one in Woodhaven, that place was disgusting!!! This place in Livonia was Beautiful and clean!!! I wish I could have enjoyed the breakfast, but I wanted to get home to my Kitty!!!

Front desk agent Brandon very good, housekeeping great, the best group of people, quiet hotel, breakfast is very good there. Location is great close to the freeway. Parking is good easy access to the hotel.

Needs an update. Air conditioner old and loud. Rooms damp and musty but linens clean in my room. Some members of our party had some issues with their room like hair all over bed, no shower curtain, tv remote with no batteries and a hairdryer that didn't work. Would have appreciated heads up on pool Reno. Buffet breakfast limited with same hot items every morning. Needed breakfast to be served earlier to accommodate our players scheduled for an early morning game but half hearted attempt to try and arrange this for us. Overpriced for this level of accommodation.

Piss poor communication and customer service. My reservation when made over the phone, somehow got lost. The discount I should have gotten and was told to me that it would be honored was not. When trying to get to a resolution to all the fails that had happened, was told to NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!

Overall not a bad experience other than a housekeeping faux pas (the last occupant left some clothes on chair that housekeeping didn't pick up) and creepy smells in entryways. But loudly blasting Fox "News" in the breakfast room? This is very much the opposite of what I want to start off my day. I won't be back.

Stayed there approx 3 months in total because of work project. As title says hotel is old but staff is quality, also some bars and shopping center just next to hotel. Jacuzzi in room was really nice after long day at factory.

Super team.. This was a nice place. Room was clean and everything worked. I will stay again. The front desk staff were a great new. I did not need to go out for any items i forget during my stay. Highly pass on this stay information.

This week I visited Detroit and I chose this place to stay after reviewing this property in Trip Advisor. I liked this place overall. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I got a king bed room and the bed was very comfortable for 2 people to sleep. The rooms are neat and very quiet and I liked the silence. It's right on the 6 mile road. Easy to some eateries nearby.

I come to this hotel at least once, if not twice a month, every month. The staff is friendly, check in is usually fast, check out is super fast. Rates are fairly cheap if you become a Best Western member. Rooms are a bit outdated but nothing I can't handle.

We had the jacuzzi room. Checked in late due to late flight. The person who checked us in was only person who spoke to us. The next morning we saw the peeling and cracked hot tub we were about to use. We did not. The night before we found a cap to a makeup pencil on the bed. Thought it was wife's but next morning she said no. We did not do breakfast but wanted to checkout. No one at the front desk. After 15 minutes of standing and waiting and a couple hellos. We just left. The breakfast workers just 20 some feet away did not even respond. We were just totally ignored. This is a hotel I will NEVER stay at again. Not worth it.

I just booked one of their conference rooms for a few hours in the morning for a fundraiser event and they were so accommodating! I had a hiccup in my plans and they made everyone feel at home while we waited for our bus to arrive to pick us up.... two hours late. The room was set up better than expected and they even let one of our guests check in extremely early! Everything was very clean and I would go back! A HUGE thank you to Latasha Lewis for setting everything up and working out every detail and to Blair at the front desk for jumping into action during our delay. Very professional and welcoming!

Loved walking into the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! Our room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. a great breakfast with a variety of fruit choices! Would definitely stay here again.

We returned to the city where we grew up. After years of corporate transfers we have returned to the nest! We love this location. It's centrally located from the West side to the East side to the North. Ladies, great shopping just across the street! Great eateries a block away by car or walking distance. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Premises clean & quiet. Book early and enjoy!

It was a good hotel with great customer service. The breakfast was good but there were not many hot options, there was healthy options though! The internet would not connect for us which was a downfall but other than that it was a good stay. I honestly would like to know what pillows they use cause they were extremely comfortable.

The hotel itself is very clean. The staff is extremely helpful! Very personable. The breakfast was fantastic lots of choices. The pool was under construction but everyone was super apologetic about it. The only thing that I would have liked is that the updated their information online.

Nice quiet hotel but not crazy about the bug traps all over the room. Also the bathroom had not been mopped and the shower had hair in it, actually not sure if it was cleaned at all. They lost me there. Breakfast was fabulous and lobby was clean. Employees very nice.

Jacuzzi/Hot tub was larger than expected! Could even fit 3 people comfortably. Spacious room with large bed. Very very clean, however the paint was peeling in some areas. Updated features in the bathroom and amenities were plentiful. Front desk staff was attentive and very helpful, even coming to our room to help us when needed. would stay here again, we had a wonderful time here for half the price we have paid for a horrible room elsewhere. May seem expensive for a spa bath room, however it was very worth it in my opinion.

Me and my boyfriend checked in to celebrate our anniversary and we got more than we expected. The staff is more than friendly and accommodating. It was a wee bit chilly and I have anemia. I called down to the front desk and asked for an extra blanket. With no issues Blair, the front desk manager; brought down an extra blanket and was more than accommodating. We enjoyed the spa bathtub that's right in the room. Unlike some hotels where they are in the bathroom. We really enjoyed this because we were able to watch television as well. They also offer a hot breakfast which was delicious. I loved the waffle bar and the coffee since I am a coffee finatic. We spoke with Laurie, the breakfast attended. She was so friendly and nice to speak with. We will be back to celebrate again as well as recommending to our friends when they are in the area.

Came into town on business and was, admittedly, a bit dubious when this hotel was recommended. I was quite impressed as it was nothing like expected. Upon entry you immediately realize your expectations are going to be exceeded. My check-in was expedited by, Brandon, who was both outgoing and courteous. My room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and meticulously clean. I spent most of my evening on my laptop in the common area off the lobby. The large fireplace provided a relaxing and welcoming area to work in. In the morning the complimentary breakfast boasted a selection much more extensive than other hotels I have stayed at. It's clear this hotel's goal is to build a clientele vs make a dollar. Will be staying at this hotel exclusively when I am in the area.

One night I was in need of a room had been driving al night and seen the Best Western sign. I decided to stop and check in. The service was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. I recommended the hotel to friends, family, and colleagues.

My wife and I had a great stay at this hotel for our anniversary. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is clean and quiet. Laurie the breakfast attendant was welcoming and polite threw out our stay.

The room we had was dated. The tub/shower combo was very deep and hard to step in and out of. The bed was a little too firm for me. The air conditioner/heater is a wall unit instead of thermostat. Internet was good until it bumped us off and we had to sign back in even though we hadn't left the hotel. Breakfast was average but good. This is a two story and easy to walk the stairs. It was a convenient location and the rate was reasonable. Would probably come back if they update their rooms.

Great hotel love that they offer hot coco and coffee threw out the night. Only issue i had Was i came in and waited almost 30 minutes for a check in and the staff came from outside it was a late check in around 10pm but id still like someone to be available but other then that great night staff friendly guest friendly cold lemon water it's a 5 star feeling just do better with check in

Dont let the room price fool you. This Best Western is clean, nice, and the in a great area. The customer service is among the best I've ever seen. Brandon went above and beyond the call of duty to fulfill our needs.

Overall pretty good experience TV didnt get the BCS championship that night. Hotel management said that weather was the issue. The breakfast was pretty good waffles were the best part. I had a jacuzzi room which had very resonable pricing.

So I've been here a few weeks now and Bree is the absolutely worst person to have there she is lazy rude and very inattentive to guest this hotel is amazing and she is giving it a bad look by being the way she is i asked for towels and an extra blanket never got it until next shift because she never wants to grab anything

I travel pretty often. Friendly and cleanliness is important to me. Feeling safe is important to me. The staff is a warm friendly very accommodating staff. The breakfast has a nice variety. I love the fact after a tiring day I can make a hot chocolate in the lobby and take it to my room and settle in. The quiet is also important to me. And the convince of the mall across the street and restaurants in the area. I can't say enough about Best Western Livonia.

I'm collecting points at hotels charging two or three times the price, yet fall short of providing the level of service and kindness I received at this property. Mark behind the front desk couldn't have been more accommodating and maintenance technician conveyed an equal level of kindness when we briefly spoke. The room was large, modern and quiet and as mentioned, a fantastic value. I plan on making the Best Western my hotel of choice whenever I visit the Metro Detroit area.

We enjoyed our second visit to this property and we will stay again when in Michigan. I had the best sleep as the beds are extremely comfortable, room was quiet and everything worked. Bree was very helpful in making this reservation which we had to change at the last minute. Thank you so much for accommodating us. Breakfast is adequate and coffee is always on.

Stayed here for one night. No issues or complaints. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. TV worked. Bed was a bit stiff but I slept great. Breakfast had plenty of options and appeared to be well kept. Won't hesitate to stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western as I always do. The staff were great: Three Bs Bree, Brandon and Brenda (I think it was)... really friendly and helpful during my visit. There was an issue with the first room, but it was swiftly corrected. Room was ok, but the property is a bit dated.

Clean, the front desk staff was terrific (Blair - Brandon). Came down around 2 am and Amanda was very pleasant, nice to talk too! Breakfast was delicious. I love the sausage links. My room was very comfortable

I checked in late last night, however the lady at the front desk (Amanda) Greeted me with a great smile, she also helped me with some of my things and gave me extra towels. Housekeeping however was HORRIBLE. Lady on mid-shift has a terrible attitude

good location as there are a couple of restaurants next to it if you are getting there late or really tired & you cant go for a drive. Mid size rooms but the bathroom was really compact. Below average breakfast buffet. hotel is kept clean & nice. helpful staff.

I've stayed at this property on different occasions and the front desk staff is one of the reasons I continue to come back.Everyone is friendly and accommodating. It was fairly cold one night, and I called down to the desk around 2am, the night auditor Armanda brought me down an extra blanket and I really appreciated her for doing that. Blair, the front desk manager is more than friendly. You can tell that she really loves her job and everything that comes with it. She has assisted me with printing out my boarding pass and also gave us great places to visit in the metro Detroit area. Also, Brandon and Mark are very friendly. Brandon always makes cookies in the evening and Mark greets me while having my morning coffee. I really enjoy the breakfast, would love to see biscuits and gravy or maybe red potatoes, however its still delicious. The jacuzzi rooms are my favorite. Always so clean with room to relax. This hotel is the perfect place for couples to come and unwind.

We stayed here for four nights while visiting the Detroit area. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was the normal however the staff kept it full and fresh from open to close! The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly. The housekeeping was excellent!

I had business and had to stay in the area of Livonia, there are many hotels in Livonia, but the Best Western was closest to the business I needed to visit. The exterior of the building is nicely kept, clean and well manicured, lawn and trees are maintained. Once inside the building is very clean and well lighted. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and televisions are updated with plenty of channel choices. The only problem is the outdated bathtubs. Many of the rooms have old jacuzzis tubs that are no longer functional as jacuzzis. The tubs are quite high, so it may be difficult for some quests to maneuver. The shower was a little difficult to control temperature settings. The bathroom was very clean, towels were soft. The air conditioners work, no complaints there! The room was quiet! The breakfast bar was well maintained and stocked, hot food had different selections each day we stayed. Lots of pastries, bagels, waffles and cereals. The breakfast area was extremely clean and the breakfast assistant was pleasant and assisted when needed. The only problem the pool was closed, it is being updated to an indoor pool. Even though there was construction, it did not hinder our stay, the crews left around 4:00 pm daily. Overall, it was definitely a good hotel and I would recommend it!

This BW was not service oriented. Missed wake up calls. No coffee left in my room 8 out of ten days.Manager's attitude very unfriendly. It is close to restaurants and interstate hwy. Low nightly rates.Pool under repair. Noisy and dirty talking guests. No laudry room.

Very budget friendly, close to shopping and restaurants, and major highways..It was a nice 2 story building, we found the room very spacious and QUIET, which was very nice to sleep. Hot beverage was available 24 hours a day, which was nice.

The room was spacious and had all of the amenities one would want. Comfy bed & pillows. Safe & ironing board. Friendly staff. Only bad thing was the jacuzzi tub looked a little worn. Laundry service available. Breakfast included.

We had our reunion and we stayed at the Best Western. The staff is excellent, the grounds and the rooms were way above my expectations. I don't know what you're doing as far as hiring practices, but keep up the good work. The young people at the front desk were outstanding and the evening manager helped us print our boarding passes when we were very tired and worn out. Thanks much for your great service.

We chose this hotel to stay while we visited the Dream Cruise on Woodward. We found it easy to get to and comfortable, the room was large with a great bed, clean bath, this hotel is going through a remodel while we were there but it did not cause us any inconvenience.

This was my second stay in this Best Western, as I have family in the area and it's budget-friendly and in a good location. Right off the expressway, near many restaurants and stores. I never have lofty expectations when staying in a mid-range hotel. This hotel is nicely maintained, comfortable decor, pleasant staff. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice breakfast area and food choices. There were some minor maintenance and housekeeping issues in my room, but, again, nothing major enough to complain about. Towels are very small and not very plentiful in the room when you check-in (there were two of us in the room and only 3 bath towels provided), but I saw housekeepers all over so I could have gotten more if necessary.

Do not stay at this hotel! My mother and I spent 2 nights there recently, and after leaving we were charged $150 for smoking in the hotel room. Neither my mother nor I have ever smoked, and we certainly did not smoke in our non-smoking room. My mother has called the hotel several times in order to discuss the issue, but management refuses to speak to her. They originally stated it was cigarette smoke, and that there were ashes in the room. However, now they claim that we smoked marijuana and that when they opened the door to our room, it was filled with smoke! I am extremely disappointed in Best Western for their poor management, and will never be staying at one again.

we had a great stay. i wish we would have went to this hotel the whole time we was in livonia. just walking in the hotel you could tell it was going to be a great place to stay. the people were really nice and just the smell of the lobby was so inviting. the rooms are really nice. our bathroom was really nice but it was a lil smaller. but it was really clean. when ever we go back down to see the family we are going to be using this holetel.

Stayed here for seven nights and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were large and tastefully furnished. Air was very nice and cool. Bathroom had lots of counter space but I can see why one of the reviewers had difficulty getting into the shower/tub. It is very high and deep. Just a few blips though. One day we had a do not disturb sign hanging on our door and housekeeping came in anyway. We were a little annoyed. Another day we got a call from the front desk at 6 in the morning asking for the HDI remote or else we would be charged. Say what? As it turned out the lady at the front desk called the wrong room. She could remember what room she loaned the remote too. Again we were a little miffed. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was very proficient and professional at her job. Check in and we're both very cursory but could have been more courteous. Despite these screw ups we would gladly stay here again during our next visit to the area.

I appreciate the price and the value received. I have special thanks to Tony. He is in the housekeeping department. I was not feeling well and he must have noticed because he offered to take my luggage to my room and made sure I could call on him if I needed anything.

I stay at this BW when I need to stay in the Detroit area. The employees are always friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I would recommend stay at this best Western anytime of the year. The are adding an indoor swimming pool for those cold winter Michigan days. Brandon was very helpful on this last stay.

The outdoor pool was closed for renovations yet reservation page did not indictate this. Front desk personnel was arguemntative about this inconvenience. Mold smell profusely through room. Mold in the bathroom.

Not the fault of the hotel at all - but the weather this past w/e was like an oven - an average of 92 degree heat - starting at 9:00am! Walking into the hotel to check-in, noticed the temp was barely better than outside and we were worried. Thankfully, the rooms were nice and cool - air worked great! Front desk staff was pleasant and the complimentary breakfast was very nice. The location is very convenient - just off the highway. Nice clean new towels, toiletries, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, etc. The outdoor pool is presently being covered and under construction. Looks like the rooms have been updated recently as well. The only qualm I have is that you need a step stool to get into the tubs! (My elderly parents could not bathe for two days)! Also, second day, our maid failed to replenish the kleenex and most of our towels.

I have to admit, when my Uber pulled up outside the building and I walked into the lobby my thoughts were ‘oh my... where am I?!?' welcome to Detroit. However, the staff were friendly and the room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. They had all the amenities that you need, nice coffee service, water and a free breakfast downstairs. Although, I just had a coffee there were cereal, waffles, yoghurt all available and I thought it was a nice touch. The only fault I would give them is that the air con unit is very old, I found the room cold so had to put the heat on, which meant a noisy unit blowing out hot air or be chilly in bed. For the price and convenience where I needed to go for my business meeting I was very happy to stay here for a couple of nights. There is also a restaurant across from the hotel where you can get take out and bring back to your room. I must embarrassingly admit I got the chicken wings, which were terribly good! After the change in ownership, the value for quality has gone down. I must say the service is very good but the quality of the brand has gone down. Last few stays I've experienced issues with the rooms and I will stop there.

We stayed here three nights and rhe room was clean and the beds perfect. The only issue was one night the two rooms next to us had children who were running between the rooms and slamming the doirs which made a loud noise and shook the walls. The mother was talked to by a guaet and she dismissed the complaint and slammed the door. After another hour, it situation calmed down. We understand kids running around, but the doors could be shut quietly.

My family and I checked into the hotel and received the most wonderful customer service from the person behind the counter. I know that my family can be needy, but Blair was always there ready to help. With help from coffee cups to remote controls, she was "Blair" on the spot to make sure our stay was perfect. If you stay, just hope that Blair is working as I know she'll meet your needs as well.

I flew in for a family funeral and only spent a night. I took what they had available wick was a more expensive room. The jacuzzi in the room has hair in it (eeek!) and didn't work. And to top it off, There were ants all over the room (due to the construction outside my guess). Wasn't the best stay.

Our stay was nice. Liked how it had enough room for over size vehicles like ours. The room was clean n had comfortable beds. Good basic breakfast items. Great service! Very friendly staff both hotel desk. N at breakfast. I like how they have both a fridge n microwave oven in the room. The only downside was the jacuzzi tub in our room was broken so we couldn't use it.

The room was very dank and outdated. most of the furnishings were in need of replacing and the king size bed was very uncomfortable. The staff very nice and did a nice job of keeping the place clean..We paid 148 per night and felt the room quality was worth about 60 max. If the room cost 60 I would have not been as disappointed because I would have expected this kind of room for that price.

The room was clean and the rooms are very spacious! The breakfast was very good , and along with the staff it was a pleasant experience. The whirlpool could have been cleaner, and they did supply extra towels in the room for that. The location of this hotel was ideal because it is right off the freeway, but the entrance was a little tricky.

This place is pretty run down, with peeling paint and a construction zone where a pool should be. The room was clean-ish although we had to get used to the mildew smell. No USB. Beds we're clean though and comfortable. The ice machine is broken and water/soda machine took my money.

During our stay there were a couple of minor issues that required attention and they were taken care of promptly and professionally. The rooms are large and well appointed. Breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. The hotel location is convenient, close to the I-275 and to many stores and attractions. Highly recommended!! Great value!!

My husband and I stay at this Best Western at least once a month when we are visiting our family and friends who live in the area. Very clean, friendly hotel staff comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast included! What more could you ask for except being that this Best Western is very reasonably priced!

The first room we were assigned had mold in the shower/tub. We were moved to a second room, which had a water leak in the ceiling. We have used other Best Western Hotels in the past which were in better condition, so we were very surprised when this happened.

I would come back to this hotel all the time. When i would like to get a room. Was very comfortable and people are very nice. Thank you for taking care of your customers. Have a wonderful and and a nice Thanksgiving

Overall, the hotel was in very good shape and rooms were roomy and clean. Hotel staff tended to congregate at the front desk to socialize and this appeared unprofessional from a guest's point of view.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June first of July for a car meet in the area. This was not the host hotel but being a BW Rewards member paid off with a no charge upgrade to a Jacuzzi room with courtyard/pool view which was very nice. The breakfast was good as well. We had 2 glitches that prevented a 5 rating: I had presented two BW gift cards at check-in for $10 and $20 to be applied to my bill and I had requested an email receipt at check-out. When I got home, there was no email receipt so I emailed a request and when I received the receipt, there was no $30 credit. I contacted the manager who apologized for the errors and straightened out my bill. We would stay here again when in the area.

They put me in a room that had bathtub that was in disrepair....they TOLD me at check-in that it was broken but it was the last room. They refused to discount me for this inconvenience...the carpet was SOAKING WET...IT REAKED OF MILDEW....and to top it off...they REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND so I could go stay somewhere else....and was RUDE on top OF it....BRANDON should NOT be in this line of work.

I Stopped at this Best Western for business and found the place very well kept up with a friendly staff. When in town for pleasure I will return here with family to enjoy more of the amenities it has to offer. The breakfast was full of many selections with fruit, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, drinks and other selections. I definitely would suggest to friends and stay there again.

Best Western Hospitality Hotel in Livonia Michigan is a great place to stretch out and get rested up. The room was clean, quiet, easy to access from the parking. The staff is friendly and extremely courteous. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Had to return to Michigan for a memorial service. We stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied at the service and the rooms as well. Rooms looked to be refurbished recently and were very nice. The common areas as well as the rooms were clean and well kept. The breakfast was nice and had a nice selection of foods. Breakfast was also well stocked, they didn't run out of things after the first hour of serving. We will be staying here for future trips back to Michigan.

Great value for the money! Good access to freeways! Good selection of eating establishments close by. Will consider staying here on my next trip to the Redford, MI area. Good place to rest your head in peace!

I've been in the area for years and years on consulting trips (from Florida) and have stayed in numerous motels and needed a change. This was a winner, good location, friendly and helpful staff, but a tad pricey.

We continue to return to this location (2nd time this year) because of the excellent conditions and services offered by an efficient and friendly staff, who know how to do their jobs. Shout out to Dave, Mark, and Lauree who make being away from home a pleasant experience.

An ideal location. Located very close to highways that allow yo to get to major cities like Detroit or Ann Arbor easily. Many restaurants located near by. The breakfast area is clean and quite large. No fighting to get a seat. Quality of the food was excellent and choice was above average. Would stay here again.

Im never disappointed when I stay here. The staff are great the beds have plenty of pillows the tv's are a little small but it's ok. The area is nice, there is a mall and several places to eat in walking distance

Housekeepers were rude and used profanity at lot when ever they had to clean rooms, and did not provide friendly attitude while dealing with guest, complained a lot about doing their jobs, as well as about the amount of time it takes to do Thier jobs

Everyone was pleasant and everything got exactly as advertised. The Internet could have been a little better but it all worked. They were very efficient at providing the best experience possible and I'll definitely return.

Location of this hotel was good. Breakfast quality needs improve and house keeping staff should be attentive about cleanliness of hallways. The heating/ cooling system, at least in my room, made noise and the temperature was possibly not functioning that made the fan running continuously.

I am a best western platinum member and when checking in, I was greeted very kindly and offered my free gift I didn't know I was rewarded. The king room I stayed in was spacious and clean. My only concern was how high the bathtub/shower was. I had to swing my legs around like a hurdle to get in and questioned how someone shorter than myself would get in but the tub looked like a jacuzzi with blocked off jets so maybe that is why the tub was so tall.

Hotel is at very convenient location near I-275 in Livonia Michigan. Quality of hotel room, breakfast, and internet is great. Service staff is nice and attentive. I found, even as BW rewards member however, that the cost was a little high per night.

Staying in the same BW second time. A completely average hotel in a boring but safe suburb of Detroit. It could use a reno, but they maintain it well. The place is clean. It feels as a safe neighborhood any time of day or night. Pretty quiet at night. Hot breakfast is average but serves the purpose (which pretty much describes the place itself). Coffee is of bad American variety (Folgers or smth of this nature). Wifi is not outstanding but fast enough to watch Netflix in good quality.

Came into the hotel after midnight and was greeted very professionally by staff on duty. The room was very nicely appointed but the AC was hit or miss...not sure if was working correctly Breakfast buffet was probably one of the best I've had in the chain....lots of choices and all good. Area of concern is in the details....walked up the back stairs to the second floor and went to hold the handrail...it was so loose it almost came away from the wall I rate this as a very good choice for a place to stay, just advise the owners to make sure to check everything

fantastic place to stay. i had no complaints at all went down for my sons soccer turnament and we all had a great time. we had about 16 plus kids and everyone that i spoke to was completely satisfied too.

We used 2 rooms for 4 nights for my family (7 kids!) 2 per double bed and a pack-n-play for baby. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The beds (and particularly the pillows, according to my kids) were very comfortable. The pool was great. There was a breakfast that looked nice, but we didn't partake. Small issues: AC is a bit noisy and in-room Wi-Fi is kind of slow. OVERALL: GREAT STAY!

Stayed here for five nights in July. I have only good words to write about it. The location is perfect. The rooms are quiet even though there is a major road nearby. The rooms are large and comfortable with whatever amenities you require. There is free wifi that worked fine. The room was clean and was serviced regularly. Breakfasts were ample and fresh daily. The worst experience ever. Room not cleaned the entire weekend. Hair all in the bathroom upon my arrival.I asked for clean towels and face cloth at 10:30am didn't receive them until 11:30 pm on Thursday. Didn't receive clean towels Friday until 10pm. House keeping told me they couldn't get to my room that's why it wasn't cleaned. I went to the front desk to complain and they said they were busy. I'll never stay the there the staff was really nasty as well.

I had a minor problem with the shower in my room. Front desk staff took ownership of the problem and it was fixed promptly. All staff from maintenance to housekeeping to front desk personnel were so very friendly and courteous! Room was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay.

Very good location. Room # 120 was clean, but unfortunately it seems that most of the previous occupants smoked in the room. We are not smokers, therefore we were in the need to leave the AC constantly running at low, but it didn't help too much. Breakfast is good and there is always coffee available.

The hotel looked like it had been updated and was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The outdoor pool was nice and big. The rooms were newly updated, and the staff was very good. We had kids with us and they had a great time.

Absolutely Horrible experience and sadly happened at very sad time of my family, the death of my sister. I have mentioned previously that my brothers family had almost mirrored problems that I had, air conditioner bathroom issues.

We stayed for two nights. First night didn't get much sleep due to a noisy AC unit. Staff was very accommodating and we switched rooms. The pool was a big plus and well kept with great lounge chairs and poolside towels. Breakfast was nice, too. Overall nice experience.

New management. Newly updated decor, clean, quiet, service oriented. Friendly, personable staff. Perfect for visiting Ann Arbor, Downtown Detroit or Freedom Hill Amphitheater - all are around 40 mins. away and the hotel is conveniently located by I-696. There's also a shopping center with restaraunts directly across the street.

Superb motel where the entire staff was so caring from the management to the person taking care of your room. The staff always asked go you slept, how the food tasted, what you were doing that day. What a great motel.

I stayed at this hotel because it is next to the testing center Prometric. I had a 2 day licensing exam and wanted to be close and in a relaxed, peaceful environment. I requested to be in a quiet, jacuzzi tub room and got the exact opposite. I was originally placed in a room with a broken jacuzzi tub next to the pool door with loud, screaming kids. When I mentioned the Jacuzzi didn't work, the front desk man ( Brandon) accused me of lying and said they had no other rooms available. When I had to show him that it wasn't working, he still refused to give me a different room or offer me any other room. After begging and pleading they finally put me in an even louder room with a working jacuzzi tub, but broken AC and refrigerator. When I went to speak to the general manager(Dave) of the hotel to resolve this issue, instead of apologizing he not only insulted me, but also threatened to raise my hotel rate. He then proceeded to verbally abuse me in front of customers and then followed me around the hotel. I still have yet to receive an apology, or anything for the inconvenience this hotel caused me. If you want a hotel with terrible customer service and lack of management - this is the place to go. If not, there is a Marriott across the street with similar prices and great customer service.

The AC did not work in our room. Housekeeping did not clean our room one of our days. They tried to bill us for two extra days that had been cancelled well ahead of time. For the 3 days we were there they tried to bill us at rates above what was quoted when we made reservations. The hallway carpets were filthy and needed to be vacuumed. Most of the staff were polite but did not have the authority to address any problems.

Surprised with the large room and quiet property since it was close to a freeway. The rear entrance door never locked and the carpets were worn but everything else was good. Heated pool area was well maintained. Front desk was very pleasant.

Hotel is older and need of renovation, but in a nice area with many restaurants and other shopping close to hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Room needed to have simple items fixed like a bath tub drain plug. We had to use a wash cloth for the water to not drain. The front knob on the shower/tub water control was there, so you would use the rail that it was supposed to be on for the water temperature control. Had a roll away bed that was so uncomfortable that mattress was put on floor to sleep.

I look forward to my visit at this particular hotel. The service is reliable and very friendly. The hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are a very good size as well. The pool area is spotless. The breakfast offers a good selection of options, with some fresh fruit. As a solo female traveller, I feel very safe and secure here. The hotel is only 30 minutes to Detroit Metro Airport with easy access to the 275 freeway. Also, within walking distance are shops and restaurants.

I stayed here on a recent business trip. The hotel is located right off the highway and has several places to eat within walking distance. The hotel staff at check in were great and were happy to upgrade my room as a platinum rewards member. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Well lite parking lot as well.

We were in town for a graduation party and this hotel worked out great for us. The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Check-in and out was easy. The only hotel amenity we used was the breakfast and they offered a clean area for eating and quite a few breakfast choices. We just had a couple of the basics (bagel, eggs, and coffee) and it was all decent. For what I consider a budget hotel, this exceeded our expectations and we will stay here again when in the area visiting family.

If you're a HOG member you know by now that the Best Western offers some great deals in incentives for us to ride to and stay at their hotels. As you know they are independently owned and operated and for the most part are great. This one though impressed us with their service and online guarantee. The price wasn't the same as quoted so they worked it out for us and conveniently gave us a late checkout to get our bikes ready. They also have a full not breakfast for the weary traveler its perfect. Rest, eat, wash your bike, and get back on the road.

My stay was pleasant except for the thin walls. Around midnight, I was able to hear the person next door conversation so I had to turn up the A/C and sleep with ear plugs. However, the room and hotel was clean.

Very clean and quite well kept from what I saw. I've stayed here many times over the years and it seems to have gotten better with age. The rooms were clean and well kept. I only had juice, but wife enjoyed the breakfast. I would suggest this property to anyone. I will stay here again.

Central in the automotive area, you can go anywhere in no time. After this place been refurbished, it is clean and depite the close highway quiet. The bathtub have the size of a swimming pool. Breakfast is very basic but okay to get your day started.....for 80$ a night you got a better deal than on the opposite side......for 200$ plus breakfast.

Only issue was our jacuzzi tub in one room the jets didn't work & the other room the water didn't work for it. Other than that I would go back again:) I recommend this to anybody looking for a close clean place to stay

This motel was excellent in every way-clean, friendly, great bed, good air-conditioning, hot breakfast, easy to get to, quiet, This motel should be rated highly by everyone. If you need to stay in this area, this is the placee to stay.

Staircases needed vacuuming. Soil from potted plant was on the floor. Windows needed cleaning. Room temperature was good and easily adjustable. Minor repairs need done. When entering halls to go to room lots of piles of used bedding lines the walls.

Clean, if not immaculate. We stayed for several days. Staff was prompt and courteous providing extra towels, etc. The only down-side was the room air conditioning unit, which not only sounded like a jet airliner, but failed to keep the room cool during the day. The free breakfast was decent, with eggs (not from scratch), sausages, make-your-own waffles, pastries, etc. It kept us happy. Would stay again.

Housekeeping just walks in your room without knocking. This has happened twice at this hotel. Also staff was cursing at customers while I was checking out. Also overcharged my card after using one of their promotions.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in town for a wedding. Convenient location, comfortable room and bed, nice heated outdoor pool and decent breakfast off the main lobby each morning. I would stay here again. Good value for price paid.

Have stayed here many times , it's a nice hotel nice rooms , but this stay really has changed my mind , they were sealing parking lot and had no do not enter signs to show you should not drive on it , so the asphalt got all over our tires we spend hours trying to drive it off , hours which means money and wasted time . The hotel did nothing to show they were at all sorry for mishap , so we will not be staying here again , very sad .

Midway into this visit, and I'm already incredibly impressed. Brandon, the night clerk, has so far been extremely helpful, and already made my stay so much better. Additionally, the accommodations are incredibly nice. The rooms are comfortable, the continental breakfast looks like it will be very good, and and the staff are all excellent.

My husband & I really like this hotel for the price for our short adult get-away. The price is unbelievably inexpensive. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. And our bathroom always has a soaker tub which I absolutely love. The free breakfast is absolutely terrible,though probably typical for "free". Just make sure you budget for food. My husband forgot a few toiletries on our last trip and the front desk had them available for free which was very pleasantly surprising. The staff had always been very nice and helpful. The pool is outside so it isn't functional in the winter. It would have been a great place to take the kids for a little home away from home weekend if it had a pool in the winter. :-( Oh, and a bar or restaurant would have been good too. There is a restaurant right next door though (Red Robin, i think). Overall, we are very thrifty and found that the price is great for a little peace and quiet & cleaner than we anticipated. Remember to plan on eating breakfast elsewhere. We plan on going back almost every other month as long as we work it in the budget (remember, we're cheap!).

Nicely renovated room. Comfy bed! But room wears so stuffy! Air conditioning worked but blasted so strong you couldn't keep on overnight. Breakfast lounge is very inviting with plenty of items to select.

This may be an okay place for a short stay. The bathroom had a lot of mold and the shower had a deep lean into to the drain. The door to the bathroom grazed the toilet. Best western beds are the best but the bathoom at this location was horrible. The room was renovated and appeared clean. We were booked in front of a couple if convention halls which was a very bad design to have rooms located there due to the constant noise and chatter. The breakfast was okay, coffee was great. I wouldn't stay here again.

Blair at the front desk was awesome at helping us with a reservation issue we had. The General Manager was extremely helpful and friendly also. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

I come to Michigan yearly for business and family. I'm not sure what happened when the hotel came under new ownership/management, but it's definitely gone down hill. The new manager needs to take a course in hospitality and how to speak to customers. He's inappropriate toward females and the whole reason I will not be returning, nor will I be suggesting this establishment to any of my colleagues, especially my female colleagues. If the hotel was smart, they'd let him go and hire someone with class that treats the employees and customers decent. If I could give 0 stars, I would; my last stay didn't even deserve 1 star.

Not the best "Best Western" I've stayed at. Don't stay here if you want a really clean room. I stayed here 3 nights and didn't get my sheets changed at all. I had to chase down the housekeeper for my floor (Ana W.) to get her to agree to clean my room and then she didn't come and clean it when she said she would. I only got the room cleaned when I tracked her down and stood over her. Even then, she did a half-hearted job of cleaning the bathroom, didn't change the sheets, didn't dust and left dirt on the floor. The furnishings in the room are nice but the rooms are small and breakfast was just so-so. Wouldn't stay here again unless I was forced to. Forgot to add that the lock on the door wouldn't engage and lock unless you slammed the door very hard -- big security issue!

Stayed at the hotel in January and again the night of March 6,2017. Check in was fast and easy. My partner has a broken leg and is in a cast and again the staff brought a wheelchair....this time right out to the car. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable and it's nice to have an air conditioner/heater that works perfectly A pleasant stay and we will return to this hotel when we are in the area again

I travel a lot as a standup comic. I needed a place to stay overnight on Thanksgiving after driving eight hours from Pennsylvania to Michigan. This property was conveniently located off of the highway and near shopping and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I liked having a flat screen TV, minfridge, and microwave. The shower was also a whirlpool tub. Checkout was at noon which I appreciated. There's a hot breakfast in the morning held in the large and comfortable common area in the lobby. This space is available all day for work, meetings, or just relaxing. It wasn't a long stay for me, just an overnight, but I got a good night's sleep and ready for the journey ahead. Thanks!

It was easy to get to, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. You can simply walk next door to a Red Robin. I got a room that had a Jacuzzi bath. While, I appreciated it, it was a bit much. Great size room. Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a fire alarm that had a battery going low. I could hear that "beep" sound it makes to warn you of the battery going low. I was surprised that my neighbor didn't hear it. It actually sounded it was from next door. I didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast in the morning as I had a n early flight to get to the next morning. The staff was friendly.

It was right off the highway and close to all sorts of restaurants and shops. Even a movie theatre. The rooms were clean and made fresh, the breakfast was perfect, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating

Booked with trip advisor to stay at the best western hotel and the process was cake. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The rooms were some of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in! The beds and blankets were like sleeping on a cloud. Also, great water pressure in the showers!! The continental breakfast was spot on with everything you could imagine. I would highly recommend the best western near novi michigan to anyone. I will be back the next time we have a work event for sure! Thank you the Best Western team for the great experience!

The stay was very pleasant. Room was spotless. Workout room was clean could use a new treadmill but overall great. Breakfast was very nice and always full the girl works very hard and very friendly she had blonde hair. The check in woman was very friendly. She was helping a customer with a problem on the phone and was very professional. The outside looked beautiful we went in november but looked nice. The hotel is close to malls and the showcase center really convenient off the highway!

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS HOTEL. UNSURE WHY IT IS RATED #1 in Livonia on TripAdvisor. We were in town for a wedding and had 9 people in our party so we reserved 2 rooms with double beds. When we went to check in they rudely said we were a no show the day before and gave one room away!! So they only had one room for 9 people. We were not coming the day before, just for the night of the wedding! This was after we confirmed the day before. Why would half of our party come on one day and the rest of us the next day? We tried to explain this but got nowhere. We received no apologies for the mistake on their part when making the reservation. Needless to say we had to stay somewhere else last minute because there were no rooms left at double the cost. My sister was charged for the room and when she called they reluctantly took the price off but still with no apology!! Also some in our group that did get a room said it smelled of smoke. Do not stay here!

2 months in hotels with stays in several and once we found this place we didn't leave until we had a place to go. Beds were so comfortable, staff was excellent and did all they could to help us through a difficult time. Great place.

For the price i paid of $70, the room was definitely impressive. The room was spotless, beautiful, and felt like home. I would recommend this hotel to friends/family and plan to stay here again! The bathroom was fully equipped with all essentials, and the room had a microwave, mini fridge and flat screen included. Complimentary breakfast is offered. Although the hotel is smaller than most hotels, it was cozy and the main lobby is super classy and inviting. I am a nit picky type of person, but i really enjoyed my stay here :-)

Needed a place for 1 night. Chose this based on price (about $100), location and rating on tripadvisor. Staff was friendly and efficient, but the property was disappointing. Late arrival, parking spaces near door were taken and rest of lot not particularly well lit--a drawback for anyone, especially female, traveling alone. Decor in hallways made them seem dark. Beds were too soft (but that may be a personal preference). Wall unit A/C kicked on and off all night and was pretty noisy--not good unless you sleep very soundly. Channel listing for TV and actual channels didn't seem to match up. There was a frig and microwave. Property has just 2 floors. Vending machines on upper floor--one was out of order, other was nearly empty. Vending machine on lower floor--had to guess at prices. Hair (not mine) under sink counter. Tub faucets looked dirty but probably just old. Sink stopper came off in my hands when I tried to use it. If I need lodging in the area again, will look elsewhere.

With access to the major highways and close proximity to the airports, shopping, and dining, staying at Best Western Livonia is hard to top! The staff are visible, the facilities appear recently renovated, the room and bed are very comfortable.

My stay at the Best Western has always been pleasant. I enjoy the free wifi and free breakfast. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend

Just like every other hotel in a 30 mile radius. No special reason to stay here. Nice enough, clean enough. etc. just nothing that makes it any different. Free breakfast is the same old boring fare served in a 100 other hotels (even served the same way). Don't get a room on the freeway side (too noisy)! Desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at several hotels in the surrounding area and this was the best experience I have had. I look forward to staying there again. I visit relatives, frieinds, etc. and the location is excellent.

Hotel is definitely in need of some updates -- part of the counter in the bathroom was falling apart, tub was stained (or else just not cleaned well), had to have staff remove a light bulb from a ceiling light because it would not stop flickering with the light off and it scared my daughter. I called the front desk first thing in the morning and either they did nothing or they couldn't fix the problem because it started flickering again the next night, finally got them to just take the light bulb out (I'd have done it myself if I could've reached it!). Breakfast was good, more choices than average. Pool is outdoor and seasonal, wish I'd have known it was closed already (it's September). Beds weren't bad, and towels were soft. I didn't hear much noise from the hallway once we got put in a quieter part of the hotel, but it's hard to say how many of the rooms were occupied. Staff seemed to be trying to be helpful but not terribly competent. Bathrooms were tiny, only a few inches between the toilet and the door when opening it. We were originally put in a room right next to an event space as an evening event was beginning, with the speakers right next to the wall that the beds were on. NO WAY my daughter would have slept with that, and I can't imagine who would think that would be a good way to lay out a hotel -- put vending machines or bathrooms or something next to that wall at least, not guest rooms! This was my first hotel stay in this area, but if I go back to the area, I'll try somewhere else.

Very clean, modern, spacious rooms with plenty of plug-ins. I would definitely recommend to others. Courteous staff. Helpful when recommending resturants and places of interest. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Don't be fooled by the falling-down sign out front. We were on a Michigan trip visiting family, and when I decided on a hotel in Livonia, I was admittedly hesitant about choosing this hotel. I was familiar with the area having lived and worked in the area for 20 years, so I knew the hotel. There are definitely newer and more upscale hotels in the area, but this was highly rated and the cheapest. My wife was hesitant, but agreed. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The rooms were clean and updated and there was a daily free hot breakfast. My youngest loved the B&W heart logo in the hot waffles. The pool was small and basic, but nice. It's outdoors, so weather permitting. It was quiet and overall a great stay. Definitely the best value in Livonia. Yes, the tilted sign out front if off-putting, but perhaps that will keep this hotel a secret.

This hotel is situated in an upscale area with plenty of amenities. I missed out on pool season so I went to the fitness center to get my "buffed up" on! The fitness room is small, however I was the only person in there. It could potentially get crowded real fast. However they've got an off site fitness center as well. I didn't have time to explore that and it wasn't necessary for me. Upon arriving Blair was so nice and helpful in finding me a restaurant nearby that had steak and beverages. This is by far one of THE cleanest hotels. Immaculate. The rooms and breakfast area are well attended. All of the staff very pleasant and courteous.

Stayed here once before, clean modern rooms, great location with plenty of dining options and a mall right across the street and easy access from the highway. Nader, the manager, is AWESOME! I will be back and look forward to excellent service!

Great clean pool. Convenient location. The room size was generous. The jacuzzi tub was not usable in my opinion. Needed reglazing so it just looked dirty. The vending machines were pretty empty. Overall a very nice place for the cost.

We have stayed in Many B.W. as we travel. The room was clean and well stocked. The lobby and breakfast area was large enough for all. The food was enough and well prepared. The staff was very helpful and professional in manner. While we did not use the pool witch was outdoor but it look clean and well maintained. A very pleasant stay. There were two things we did run into. There was a leak in the ceiling over the Jacuzzi in our room. also they are over 20 year old and not all are working, they need to replace. One of the doors leading out side would not lock and could be used by anyone with out a key. Over all very nice and recommend a stay.

Very comfortable bed! Clean room...good to excellent breakfast variety. Left a valet bag in my room, and was handled a bit too casually about it's possible return; but night staff person could not enter lost and found room to check on its whereabouts.

I stayed here for a night last weekend and was pleased all around. Located right off of the highway, it was easy to find, and a quick trip from downtown Detroit. The staff were all quite pleasant. I was checking in late and someone was waiting at the desk to get me checked in quick. She was also happy to recommend some late night food options within walking distance. The hotel is located across the street from a large shopping center and right next door to a few restaurants. Finding a late dinner and a cocktail couldn't have been easier. I was also right where I needed to be to run some errands the next morning. Very convenient. My room was very large with a king sized bed and a VERY deep bath tub. I'm a tall guy and appreciated being able to fit for a hot soak after a long day. The Best Western Hospitality Hotel is also very clean. Notably so. In addition it seemed pretty quiet even with what seemed to be a good amount of guests on a Sunday. This was helpful for getting some work done in my room (free wi-fi!) as well as when I decided to finally turn in. There's a hot breakfast in the morning held in the large and comfortable common area in the lobby. This space is available all day for work, meetings, or just relaxing. Top notch! Between the pleasant staff, convenient location, and clean quiet property, the Best Western Hospitality Hotel in Livonia certainly lives up to it's name!

My husband and I did not have a good experience at this hotel. I do not recommend staying there. It needs a major transformation. From towels, bedding, running toilet, un level bedroom, thin walls, just to name a few.

This is a quality hotel for the money . Clean and quiet ,staff are awesome . Rooms beautiful and breakfast is fantastic. There is a pool . Lovely safe location in Livonia . I will definitely be back. ??????????????????????????

I wondered what type of establishment I was staying at when I arrived. The only sign in front of the hotel was falling over and it appears it has been that way for some time. We had flooding in the lounge/breakfast area that required us to move to a plain room(conference room) to eat. The staff had to continually put on booties to go back and forth to the breakfast area to reload items for breakfast. This(flooding) happens all the time it rains according to the staff. I guess it explains why the sign is not fixed. Other then that, it was what we expected.

This Best Western seems to be fairly newly renovated! The beds were comfy, clean and smelled fresh. The room and bathroom was all clean and nice. Fridge and microwave in room, single cup Coffee maker too, Iron, and hairdryer. Decent TV and channels. Outdoor pool looked nice, didn't try it though. Breakfast was decent with sausage and scrambled eggs for hot stuff. Waffles had toppings like chocolate chips, nuts, brown sugar, strawberries and raisins which was cool! Basic breakfast items like yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, fruit cups. The staff was very nice as well. There is a red Robin next door, the mall across the street is very small and has a Bar Louie, a Subway, and a Coney Island which had good cheap food! Other than that the mall didn't have much other than a bath and body works, Victoria Secret and stores I've never heard of.

I stayed here just one night with a late arrival. The night auditor was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean and smelled nice. I wish the air conditioner was temperature controlled, but I loved the adjustable shower head. The room was spacious and the staff was inviting at breakfast in the morning. In the morning Kim was helpful in giving me the WiFi code that I left in my room for access on the business computers and using a pair of scissors. I would stay here again if I find myself in the area.

We were very happy with the Best Western in Livonia. The staff except for our check in were friendly, helpful and willing to assist any way they could. I would recommend the Best Western in Livonia to anyone looking for a great stay at a reasonable price. We are looking forward to our next trip back to Livonia.

I came in to check in to have an evening with my son for his birthday. AFTER my debit card was swiped and while I was signing the paperwork (and listening to the girl who was helping me tell another employee about how she was going to call off today and not come in to work,right in front of customers)I over heard another employee on the phone with a guest saying that the hot water should be fixed soon. Since I was not told anything about the hot water not working, I inquired about what she was talking about. The girl that was ringing me up blew off the issue saying how some rooms had warm water rather than hot but that it was being worked on and wouldn't be an issue. I brought my son to the pool with my sister and mom. We enjoyed the overly crowded pool as it's been a very hot day. I met a cute couple who I heard talking about their room and lack of hot water again. The lady said how she comes to this hotel weekly and that this a constant issue but that she comes because she has points with Best Western. Once we were done with the pool we went to shower in the room. Not only was there no hot water, but it was FREEZING. l called down to the desk where I was told that it was currently being worked on. We also noticed that the toilet did not flush right. It took3-4 flushes to get it to work. After letting it run and still no change in the fridged temperature, I went to the service desk with my sister. My sister began explaining the water situation and was cut off and handed a managers card and was told to call Monday. She started talking again and was rudely cut off by Chelsea and told that they wouldn't be talking to her as she didn't get the room, I did. I told them I wanted a refund as I can't shower my son in freezing temperatures. Very rudely I was told how I enjoyed the pool and had been there for more than15 min, so sorry about my luck. We went up to the room to make phone calls. Nothing could be fine as it was Saturday night. The front desk workers wouldn't call their manager and refused to help. I checked out with my mom. My mom started talking and calmly explaining how it's not fair that they didn't tell me there was not any hot water. Blair, the other employee, lied stating that she informed me before I checked in, which was not the case at all. My mom started talking again and Blair put her hand in my mother's face, turned to me and started talking to me. I asked her not to put her hand in my mom's face and Chelsea said goodbye while stepping in front of Blair as Blair was becoming loud and hostile. I took the receipt and left. Shortly after leaving I noticed that the receipt was not accurate. They wrote that we were there from July 23-24 when in fact we left only hours after checking in. I called the desk and Blair said I would have to come back if I wanted an accurate receipt so I did. When I arrived Chelsea was on her phone smoking in the walk way where customers come in and Blair put her hand out with an envelope with the receipt in it. I checked it before leaving. They wouldn't put a time on it of when I left. When looking at other reviews, I found several from weeks and months back stating that guest's had issues of bad customer service and no hot water. Blair and Chelsea may have had their hands tied and couldn't fix this maintenance problem but I should have been told this before checking in, not over hearing it after signing my paper work. My mother getting a hand in her face and me getting yelled at while attempting to celebrate my son's birthday was unreal. I would not ever recommend this establishment and will be taking this issue up with the company. Highly unsatisfactory behavior from these two employees.

We stayed there one night getting ready to go to a funeral. We had a nice room very comfortable and would recommend staying here again. The only thing wrong with who was the bathroom the toilet seat was loose. Very convenient to restaurants and the highway

My wife and I chose to stay at this hotel over the July long weekend because of its attractive pricing, outdoor pool and good reviews. However the lack of hot water, closed outdoor pool over a long weekend completely overshadowed the good price. We could tell the hotel was an older property but our room was renovated, clean with a comfortable king bed. We even got a free upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi, which we could not use because there was no hot water for 2 of our 4 days. The free breakfast buffet contained typical budget quality food selections, including what seemed like scrambled egg mix from a carton. When we went to use the outdoor swimming pool on July 2nd we noticed what appeared to be green algae growing around the pool lights and corners, some scum on the pool surface and debris on the bottom of the pool. It seemed that pool maintenance had been neglected for some time. We discussed our concern over the pool's water quality and potential contaminants with the front desk staff and were told that the person responsible for maintaining the pool had not showed up but someone would be coming to deal with the pool maintenance. For the remainder of our stay the pool gate had a “closed sign” and the front desk staff had no further information to provide. The front desk staff were quite friendly. However, when problems arose they were unable or unauthorized to resolve issues, and the hotel manager was unavailable. The front desk staff offered us a 20% discount off our room rate to compensate us for there not being hot water but the discount or credit was never given. We asked to speak with the manager but he was not available and never returned our 2 phone messages. We feel that an apology from management for these shortcomings would have been appropriate, particularly given the sign on the front desk – “If something is not meeting your expectation please let us know. We want to make it right. People who Care”. Management instead chose to ignore our complaints.

The check0in process was quick and very friendly. My room was very clean and updated, with a very comfortable bed, and amazing shower and very fast wifi. The property offers a hot breakfast, but I didn't take advantage of it. There were also a lot of great dining options very close (even walking distance) from the hotel. I'm in metro Detroit a lot, and in the future, I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was clean, well-staffed, and well-equipped. I was always greeted by workers in the lobby and had nice conversations with a few of the desk workers during my stay. The breakfast area was cozy, but a little crowded during my stay--the hotel was pretty full. Staff did an admirable job keeping breakfast stocked, and the occasional times when they ran out of eggs or what not didn't last long. It was a little difficult to navigate the breakfast area when lots of people were trying to get food, but it wasn't a big deal to me. I wish they'd left the chocolate chips and other waffle toppings out every day, but they were probably going through stuff too fast with the huge crowds. I enjoyed the exercise room and found the equipment perfectly suitable. I did not use the pool but it looked decent. My room was very comfortable and included a surprisingly large refrigerator and a microwave. There were plenty of accessible electrical outlets. The bed was clean and comfortable. I didn't fiddle with the AC settings much, but it seemed to have an always-on fan that occasionally included cooling. Worked fine, but the on/off cooling cycling made the room a bit stuffy at times. Again, it was very comfortable--I'm just being picky. The bathroom was rather crowded when trying to maneuver in, out, and around. I was surprised by how frequently they replaced towels and soap and such in my four-night stay. Not necessary! On my way in/out every day I heard a beeping noise in the first floor hallway. I think it was a low battery indicator on an exit sign or something. Would have driven me batty if my room had been next to it--very loud. The hotel's wifi had adequate coverage and speed, but I did have to sign in again daily with each device I was using. I brought my Roku stick and had no difficulty using it with the TV after initial set up. All in all, it was a great hotel at a price much lower than nearby competitors. It's within easy walking distance of Red Robin and a few other places in a strip mall a bit further east. I'd gladly stay there again.

We don't normally stay at Best Westerns, but gave this hotel in Livonia a try due to proximity to I-275 and a low price. The surrounding area is very nice with restaurants and a mall across the street. The hotel itself was unusual in that it had an old-fashioned 1960's architectural style which I found appealing, yet carpeting and furnishings throughout the hotel appeared to be new. The room was nice and comfortable, the free hot breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. Thought it was interesting the TV remote was designed with flush buttons for effective cleaning - never thought about getting germs that way.

Average hotel. OK for a quick overnight stay, but not a high star rated hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was OK, but Eggs were boxed eggs you add water to I think and weren't any good. Checked in late and left early so only slept, showered & grabbed a quick bite from breakfast buffet.

The hotel is fully renovated and you can really Tell that there has been a lot of changes in the hotel. The staff was nothing but respectful and helpful with everything we needed even when we were a little grumpy at check in! The pool is beyond amazing and we really enjoyed this hotel and will stay here again! Thank you Nader and staff you guys were great!

This is the little hotel that did. It is clean and quiet. Every room comes with a microwave and refridge. The TV channels include my favorites like Bravo, E! and BET. When I went to my room I noticed that the room next to me had children who do what children do -- make noise. It was no problem getting another room. The next room was next to an exit and the vending area and I kicked myself for not having walked around and asked for a room in the area where I thought it would be quiet. But the room turned out to be quiet in spite of its location. The HVAC is loud. The bathroom is tiny. The room is on the small side. The view from my room was a parking lot but the other option would be overlooking the pool and I do not like noise. In my opinion it is to be expected that there will be noise where ever there is a pool. The free breakfast is adequate. The coffee maker had mold growing in it. So if you rely on caffeine to start your day, head to Starbucks the night before and warm it up the next morning in the microwave., The internet was free and adequately fast. Many of my favorite retail spots such as Barnes and Nobles and Costco are nearby. There is a mall across the street with two department stores.

Had a great experience once again-we have stayed here a lot and always have friendly service. Good selection for breakfast. Always clean. Everyone is always helpful. Beds are comfortable. Never had a problem with noise.

We stayed here for two nights while touring the area. The hotel itself is nice. Bed was comfortable and room was nice. I was a little concerned at first as we were in the room directly across from elevator, but we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was the standard breakfast and the staff were always very friendly. Our complaint is with the other guests of the hotel...bowling teams and parents with soccer tournament kids. These were the rudest people we've encountered. Bowling team took over the breakfast area, the kids ran rampant over the hotel and grounds and the parents took over the sitting area in the lobby anytime they were at the hotel. We were playing cards there and were overtaken by the parents of these kids bringing in food, wine & beer. We had to move outside to the far end of the hotel to the picnic table where we still had kids running around us. And the parents would empty all the ice machines into their coolers leaving no ice for anyone else. Absolutely not the hotels fault. I actually felt sorry for their workers who would clean up the sitting area only to have all these people come in 30 minutes later and mess it all up again. Pitiful. So, beware, maybe ask if the soccer/bowling tournament teams are in town if you decide to stay here.

The hotel has a convenient location and rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is hot and fast for a quick start each day. I booked through TripAdvisor and the hotel seemed confused at checkout. I had an unidentified charge to my credit card two days after my stay and had to call the hotel to have it reversed, which they did. Would stay there again. Thanks.

This hotel is the definition of hospitality. After a one-week recent stay, it felt like family. It was wonderful to arrive at the hotel and find the lobby clean with a cozy fireplace, and welcoming with a smiling staff eager to please. Right away, I was asked to let them know if I needed anything. Upon my late arrival, Jack from the front desk met me at the car and quickly assisted with my things on the hotel luggage cart and escorted it all to my room with ease. The room had satellite TV, the bath clean and refreshing with a spa like shower, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. "Sleep well" are comforting words to hear from staff after a long day of travel. The room had requested amenities such as coffeemaker, frig, microwave and other nice features. The hotel's professional staff are more than happy to provide what you need. From the moment of my arrival at check-in to my departure at check-out, I was greeted daily with smiles from the staff with a "Welcome Back" as I was in and out. Chelsea was very helpful in providing directions for an area business. Busy or not, guest consideration is clearly important to this hotel. Every guest is treated with personal attention. Throughout my stay, there was no hesitation in providing whatever service I needed on that particular day. Oralia from housekeeping was happy to demonstrate how the coffeemaker worked. She enjoys helping and making guests happy. There were times as I was accomplishing my work, I had the "quiet sign" hanging on the door. The hotel staff were very respectful of this notice, and Kimberly made sure that replenished supplies were placed just outside the door as to not to disturb my work. Coffee is available all day (as well as in guestrooms), and a full hot breakfast is offered every morning with a variety of choices managed with exemplary service from Laurie, and bonus, you will be greeted by the hotel's general manager, Nader Judeh with a warm, friendly "Good morning, How are you enjoying your stay? Nader has raised the bar on guest satisfaction and, it is demonstrated throughout his hotel. Guests can enjoy breakfast overlooking a lovely courtyard or watching the morning news in a sunny atrium setting. Newspapers are free to guests. A fitness center is also available. I traveled to Livonia, MI from a well-known popular resort area, and I have been familiar with hospitality for many years. Of all hotels I've visited on my roadtrip which included a marriott and a holiday inn, this by far had the nicest staff. they truly made me feel at home. the room was nice and spacious too and breakfast runs til 10 and 11 instead of 9 and 10. I'd definitely stay here again

Every person that worked there that we met was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were fairly quiet, updated and comfortable. Bathroom is on the small size, especially the counter space. Had a refrigerator, a lot of storage, a safe and a desk. All the ice machines were either not working or leaking water all over the place. I did not eat breakfast, but family staying there said it was good. The outside patio area was is need of some work as well the front area. It seems like they have updated rooms and hallways, but not much else.

Selected this hotel because of the reviews, location and pricing. Clean, updated & comfortable. We had just stayed at a 4 star hotel and the room and friendliness of the staff was comparable. Excellent value !

Located at I-275 and Six Mile Road, this hotel is conveniently located next to shopping and several restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel interior/exterior was well maintained. Full breakfast and coffee all day!

Really loved this hotel. Jen at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was all the staff. The room was clean, very nicely decorated, and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The fitness room is great, and the breakfast had lots of options. The common area is bright and welcoming, and the courtyard/pool area is cute and relaxing. We will definitely stay again when we come back through. I don't understand the low ratings bc really, I don't have a single complaint about this hotel.

Having stayed at this property before, when work brought me back to the region, I knew I'd be back to this Best Western. Like many travelers, price is a driving factor, but I've found it hard to find a hotel to compete with this one in the price range. The property has always been clean (other major factor) and the rooms spacious. This time, the hotel was very full (not sure what events were going on in the area) but the quality of service remained the same. The staff was vigilant in continually restocking and keeping a very busy breakfast area clean. The general manager was greeting guests, making sure everyone was taken care of and even helping the staff clean up. As I mentioned, this was my third stay at this Best Western. I recognized a lot of the same staff members, which is often not the case in the hotel industry. That consistency says a lot about the management and the operation. If I make a fourth trip near Livonia, I'll definitely book this Best Western again.

Loud AC and light shining in our room all night long due to non closing curtains. Definitely not a good place to stay after driving 9 hours. They also only serve three dishes for hot breakfast & do not offer turkey sausage when it is an area highly populated with those who cannot eat pork.

This location served its purpose. Great service and good value. Very quiet but bathroom could have been a little bigger. This hotel served its purpose to get a good night sleep and breakfast the next day.

Stayed here for three nights for business in the last week of March 2016. It has several good pubs and restaurants around, although have to across a big road (3 lanes each) to get some malls. The area seems quiet and I had an impression that here is a safe place. The hotel equipment in my room and around seems a little old but kept in good condition and clean. The reception said that smoking is strictly forbidden within the building but unfortunately my bathroom had very strong smell of cigarette always. Coffee was always available as self service at the lobby though, the a little frugal breakfast was served with paper dishes and plastic knife and fork.

I was performing at University of Michigan Dearborn while staying here. The staff gave great advice on traffic conditions and traveling tips. The room was equipped with microwave and fridge. Really nice bath/shower. There was a fitness center and pool (closed during cold weather). I would definitely stay here again. Lots of late night food around in case you get hungry at night. The restaurants are walking distance. I recommend this place!

I visit yearly because my family lives in Michigan. My boyfriend and I stayed (his first trip) and he loved the hotel just as much as I do! Every time I come to Michigan I stay here. Since my first visit, Nader and the staff are always so professional and helpful. I've recommended to others that visit the area as well. Can't wait to come back this summer!

We had a wonderful stay when we were at your hotel last week! It was close to many of the areas we were visiting, and had easy access to the freeway. We found the staff to be exceptionally professional and accommodating, and Nader the General Manager greeted us during breakfast (as well as all the other guests) and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hotel has a great breakfast, as well as free wi-fi, which is a necessity for us. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. We will definitely be back in the future!

I hate NEVER been literally kicked out of a hotel room. I got in very late from a business meeting the night before. I called the front desk and asked for a late check out - the hotel was empty. As I was getting dressed the next day to check out, the manager banged on the door, demanding that I open it. I told him I'd be right out but heard his key trying to open the door. I tried to explain (as I held the door shut to prevent him from seeing my underwear clad body) that I called for a late check out and would be right out. He continued to harass me through the open crack in the door as I dressed and then I was escorted off the property. I have been in hotels around the world and have never been treated so horrifically. I have asked for late check out several times without any trouble. This manager clearly needs a new line of work if he cannot accommodate such a simple request in a rational manner. If late check isn't an option, tell me, don't bang on my door, invade my privacy and escort me off the property like I'm a criminal.

I am in the entertainment industry. At the last minute, I needed a place to stay overnight in the Detroit area. At the recommendation of a friend, I booked a room at the Best Western in a place called Livonia. I knew of the reputation that Best Western had as a place of hospitality and this one did not disappoint. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The TV featured quite a few channels, which helped me relax before a club performance I had that weekend. Although it is not in Detroit and a twenty-something minute drive to DTW Airport, the comfort of the room more than made up for the distance. If asked for a recommendation for the Detroit area, I would ask someone to put the Best Western in Livonia at the top of their list.

We picked this hotel because it was about half way between downtown Detroit and the Tangers Outlet Mall. We couldn't have picked a more ideal location. The hotel is easy to get to and the staff are excellent. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we are visiting this part of Michigan

This facility is top notch. Service was exemplar,staff was pleasent said hello to you in passing. the Manager Nader is wonderful. Made our accomadations seamless. The room was very clean. Very large jaccuzi tub. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you to Nader and his Staff.

My husband and I absolutely love this hotel! The staff is always friendly and eager to assist us in any way. We have stayed here several times and have never had any issues. Our room is always clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the breakfast is a full breakfast including; eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, etc. Not just your typical cereal and pastries. We would recommend anyone to stay here!

This was a Resting trip and I have to tell you I am pleasantly surprised. Veey clean, quiet, and accommodating. I stayed at the Marriott accross the street last night and this Best Western has far exceeded yesterdays experience and Nate was GREAT!!!! I'll be back:-)

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The only reason they have any type of stars is because they offer incentives to guest to write a positive review. i am not that picky of a traveler when I go for business - safe and clean are my highest priorities. I had a co-worker with me in another room - so we basically had the same experience -from stains to tubs... First - we got scared when we saw that the sign was almost on the ground...it was leaning about 30 percent down from vertical. The hotel is a 2 floor hotel - and very scary for security purposes for 2 women staying in a hotel. Second -we walked in the rooms - the tub has been converted from a Jacuzzi - so getting into it is an athletic endeavor.. Third - we found indistinguishable stains on the mattress pads and took them off of our beds and called the front desk to let them know. Fourth - the breakfast food was horrible...I don't think anything was really cooked, but microwaved...the best thing about the entire hotel was the lemon water. Fifth - the lobby was FREEZING..... it was cold outside, but the layout of the room to eat in was off of there and we had to eat in our coats. Sixth - there are no restaurants or amenities in the hotel... Seventh - AND THE BIGGEST...Yes, we found a spider in the bed....that is when we checked out in the middle of a snow shower at 11PM at night. RUN AWAY as fast as you can...

I arrived on a snowy night this month - March 2016 - and noted that the hotel looked like a plain hotel, nothing fancy, but when I walked in, the interior was unexpectedly nice. My room was also very nice - better than most Best Westerns I have stayed at in the Midwest, South and West. Also, the access road to the hotel was slightly behind the hotel and because it was snow covered was hard to see. May a lighted directional sign would have helped. The only issue may be that someone in a wheelchair might not be able to access the breakfast area, because it was accessible by stairs from the lobby, but I didn't really check that out - so you might want to ask about that to be sure. The price was okay, but I've stayed at nice hotels for a little less. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I've have reserved rooms often and this one impressed me a lot I would differently book here again and that was just a one night stay and I wished it could have been longer that's how nice this hotel was.

For an older, budget hotel this facility was very nice. Rooms were very clean with new bedding and nice TVs. Don't let the 2 star rating scare you away as this hotel is nicer than many 3 star hotels I have stayed in.

The hospitality while visiting the Best Western in Livonia was REMARKABLE! The desk attendant Dana went above and beyond to accommodate my guest and I. I would recommend visiting this location to anyone. The place is clean and the staff was very professional and polite!

The front staff was very friendly and pleasant. The other staff members were very friendly also. The hotel was very clean and neat. Rooms were great. The breakfast area was clean, nice and well stocked.

What a nice relaxing place to stay. The wifi worked great. The breakfast was delicious and featured hot eggs, sausage, and waffles. The room was nice and comfortable, with a very big bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak.

My stay at the Best Western Hotel in Livonia Michigan was terrific! The service was excellent from the minute I walked in the lobby and checked in. The front desk associate was very friendly greeted me very professsionally welcomed me to Livonia and thanked me for choosing the Best Western for my stay. The hotel was very clean, my room was spacious and very nice from amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The General Manager, Nader Judeh introduced himself to me and was very personable. I stayed there for 10 days and every day I was down stairs at the breakfast bar Mr. Judeh would come up to me to say good morning would remember my name and ask me how my stay was and if there anything he could for me or that I needed. I travel alot and stay at many hotels and have never felt like people cared so much like I experienced at this property. From my perspective that Mr. Judeh set the example for high standards both for the appearance of the hotel to the way the guests are treated. I would highly recommend this hotel as they treat you like family and really care that your experience is there is excellent and always greet you with a smile.

The management and staff always treat us right. I love the professionalism and friendliness-something which is difficult to find nowadays. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean safe hotel to rests pones weary head.

Great sized room, very clean and has a very accommodating staff. Rite Aid, Walgreens, Jimmy Johns, Red Robin among others, are all great spots to stop by, none of which further than a two minute drive. Being located right off the highway makes for a quick turnaround. Good breakfast in the morning with reasonable hours.

The Jacuzzi rooms here are wonderful, especially for the price! The tub is easily one of the largest in the area. I stay in a room like this 2-3 times each winter, and I have rarely visited the same property twice because there is usually something I am less than happy with. I will be returning to this property again! The tub was very clean when I arrived and the jets worked properly. The separate bathroom was well appointed. I loved the shower and the forced air heat let me get the bathroom as warm as I wanted it. The included breakfast was more than acceptable and the staff was friendly and competent. The courtyard seating looked very inviting and I will certainly be visiting in nicer weather.

We needed a place to stay while our home was being built. We stayed nearly 6 weeks. The room and the staff were awesome, and they treated us very well. Whatever we needed, they were there in a very short amount of time. Also, there were a lot of nice restaurants and shopping to choose from in the area.

I was very satisfied with the location,area and all of the hotel amenities.I usually stay at Best Western when traveling.I especially like the hot breakfasts,as I like to eat and get stated on my way It is easy to a reservation and the cancelation policy is very good.

The hotel exterior and front lobby were clean and orderly. Nader Judeh, the General Manager, was very friendly and engaging. He made sure all needs were met and exceeded. He had baklava from a local bakery available at check-in which was a nice touch. The b-fast was good. I did not use the pool or fitness center so no opinions there. Fantastic hotel.

At the last minute, I picked up some work in Burroughs (about 30 minutes from Livonia) and based on a previous stay, i chose to return to this Best Western. Besides rate, cleanliness and friendliness are big considerations, which is why I figured this hotel would be worth the extra drive. During check in, I happened to meet the general manager and a few other employees, who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd enrolled in Best Western's rewards program before but kind of screwed things up during enrollment. Dana, who was working the front desk, fixed it for me while I was bringing in my bags. The room was as clean & quiet as I remembered. I'd forgotten there were actually a couple weight machines in the fitness room (always great to have some options) and the cardio machines were also well maintained (not the case at many hotels). Breakfast had everything I needed and was well stocked. Facing a long drive the next night after work, they were generous in allowing me a late checkout. After two stays, I know where I'll go anytime I work in the Livonia region. If you're traveling through the area, I highly recommend this Best Western.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast provided was the good and well-balanced. I had a good night sleep. The hotel was quite. There are several good places to eat for dinner. The hotel is across the street from a mall.

Had a lovely stay here. Had a mix up (our fault) in needing a handicap room, and the staff took care of every need. Plus, everyone working there said "hello" when we passed - great customer service! Rooms are clean, newer, well stocked with the usual things- mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, desk area, quiet fan/a.c., shower fits my 6'2" frame fine. Pillows are average, and being on the first floor (where you worry about noise - especially above you), it was pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was average continental hot - "fake" eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, bagels, make your own waffles, etc. Just a lovely stay!

I ended up at this hotel after the hotel I originally booked was oversold and didn't have a room for me. When the other hotel offered to pay for me to stay at the Best Western, I was not thrilled. BUT, the staff here was so friendly and welcoming and the the room was pretty nice too. The experience exceeded my expectations. I had never stayed at a Best Western before, but after this stay I think I'll add it to the regular rotation!

Growing up Best Western was the best--but during the end of the past decade the hotels had gone downhill some. Well, this Best Western in the Suburbs of Detroit has been remodeled to the place where it competes with any top chain. It has touches that remind you of a boutique hotel, but with reasonable rates. The rooms were huge and had all the top amenities. Nice pool and workout room. Right next to a bunch of restaurants. Great staff. Plenty of parking. Best of the BEST WESTERNS.

Good hotel in Best Western Quality, some rooms may need refurbishment und upgrading. The yard is pretty nice, in summer with swimming pool. Nice and friendly staff. The Breakfast offered is limited in but it includes all you need to start a day. Good location to highways and just and easy 30min drive from airport Detroit DTW.

This is by far the best hotel that the wife and I have ever stayed at. The overall experience each time we have stayed here has just been beyond great. Everything seems to always be on point, the staff always warm and welcoming, and the rooms always having exactly what they are intended to have. Never have had to complain about anything yet. We have stayed at this location 5 different times and have obtained both standard and whirlpool rooms which are both great. The overall atmosphere is great and the price is pretty decent as well. I would encourage anyone to try a night here, oh and the location is great, right off the highway.

The service was great. I forgot something at the facility and they notified me promptly so I was able to come and retrieve it. I was very thatnkful. I also was very pleased with this room. Very clean and the facilities were great. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for two nights while taking my son on a few college admissions tours, staff was very helpful in giving directions, room was spacious and clean and the General Manager Nadar addressed us by name each time we entered the lobby. Great location right off expressway and a lot of dining options within walking distance, we will definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends!

Easy access to the interstates which made it wonderful for traveling to different places we were going. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and it was not crowded in the breakfast area which made for a comfortable a.m. coffee time!

I stayed for a week in September, the room was nice enough, and the breakfast your typical free hotel meal. If I had been there just one or 2 nights I wouldn't have had any problems. But after a week you start to notice things. The breakfast items NEVER changed - In fact the last few mornings I looked and left. Also, housekeeping was less than thorough. Several days the sink was not wiped out, bathroom floor unswept, only a single towel was left (once no towels were left) and obvious garbage not disposed of. One night the power went off completely for several hours and no explanation provided the next morning - this may not have been an issue for some guests, but I work online and was unable to do so during this time.

Our room was very nice, the lobby was pleasant and inviting, breakfast delicious and offered a good variety of selections, staff extremely friendly and helpful, parking plentiful, rate reasonable for the area. I found the layout of the hotel slightly confusing but, hey, I get turned around easily. Highly recommend this hotel.

I've been here for about two months now and have got excellent service the whole time.. the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back through. There are plenty of places to eat and if you need any help finding them all you ha e to do is ask the staff is very knowledgeable

Staff was friendly and check-in was quick. Breakfast options were good and breakfast area was spacious. Bed was a small double but was comfortable. Room was clean but stairs need swept. WIFI worked well in the room.

Great location. Relaxing atmosphere. We arrived later in the evening and the front desk was busy but each customer was treated as if they were the only ones there. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast many hot and cold food choices. We will recommend staying at this hotel to family and friends.

There were dirty spots on the pillow and bath towel. When I went into the room the first time, there was dust on the desk. I think that room hadn't been used for a long time. It was pretty noisy outside the window in the morning, I think it might be the garbage collect truck.
