"Terrible first room"
When we arrived the first receptionist was very un welcoming and stand offish. We were given the keys to our room which we went to and it was awful. Ripped curtains no heating very dusty on the curtains. Net curtains hanging off. Bathroom very tiny with toilet roll holder hanging loose. Went to reception and saw a very helpful young lady who moved our room i was asked if i was ok with stairs i said yes but unfortunately i didnt realise how many.
"Tired"
A word to describe how I felt after lack of sleep in a hotel that is single glazed on a busy street, and also how I would describe the condition of the hotel, in need of a makeover. Most disappointing was the fact we reported the main light and the bathroom light failed to work on the first day and they hadn't been fixed by the time we left. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly so it wasn't all bad, but given the breadth of hotels on offer I will not be going back.
"Appalling"
My stay at the hotel was truly appalling. There were fire alarms all throughout the night that disrupted my sleep. The room was cold and not very clean. I will not be staying again and would not recommend.
"MR Paul caster"
Hotel was situated in the perfect place to suit my needs. Check in was quick and easy Rooms were comfortable Breakfast plenty of choice staff nice and friendly. Only one thing that wasn't pleasant was people to be allowed in the Breakfast area with bare feet wasn't nice to see whilst eating breakfast bit more of public hygiene requirements.
"Hen Do"
Our booking was through Hen Heaven for a hen weekend. Overall the hotel was nice and in a good location. Our welcome/reception to the hotel after a long journey could have been a bit warmer. The rooms were sadly scattered all over the hotel which became quite difficult as we wanted to stay together as a group. Breakfast was nice but ran out of food quickly so lots of hanging around waiting for glasses, cups, fresh food to be brought out. Some of the rooms has hot water issue also which was a shame so had to go to other rooms to shower. Some rooms were also more modern then others, room 513 needs a bit of tlc! Staff were friendly.
