I stayed here on a business trip, the hotel was very clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. Excellent breakfast array, with fresh bread and pastries, good choice of fresh fruit. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels.

This hotel delvers exceptional comfort and service at reasonable prices. It's only been open a year since it was refurbished from top to bottom. New owners and management have created a smart contemporary environment. The rooms are decorated in an industrial chic style, but the bed is very comfy and the bathroom modern and well-designed. Breakfast is included and offered a good range of hot and cold choices. The reception staff were first class.

One of the best hotels to visit the area,the room was very comfortable,beds were super comfy and there is no noise.It's only 5 minutes walking from beautiful town Lier and staff is the best value of the hotel.I would recommend it 100%

Clean bright modern room. Nice shower and plenty of electrical receptacles. One of the best breakfasts buffets we came across in Belgium while cycling the Flanders route. However, we did not like the single use cutlery, plates and glasses, even though they were touted as "bio degradable".

Clean rooms, friendly staff, 24/7 reception and fast WiFi. Breakfast is fresh and tasty but not much variety. Good location that is walking distance from the city centre and right in front of a bike rental kiosk. Thought it was a bit expensive.

"too pricy for what you get"

we stayed there for 2 nights and looks a bit run down. the place is clean but that's it. Looks like maintenaceof the place has not been executed for the last 6-7 years. lamps hanging from the cealing...creamer which was monthes over the expiration date. There is a similar named place in downtown Lier which is way better.........do not go here.

There is not one single thing in the hotel that feels genuine and a sign that the hotel is operated by owners who wants to be proud of their product. The entrance to the hotel set the overall feeling. Completely unpleasant and needs a severe makeup. Hotel/rooms are dirty, beds are not comfortable, bathrooms are moldy, brekfast has no finess whatsoever, hotel has a smell of smoke allover, things are falling apart everywhere. Staff barely speaks an understandable english.

A very disappointing stay at this particular hotel. We were initially greeted by a very unkempt, scruffy man in a filthy suit with food stains on it, who in fact turned out to be the manager. He maintained that he could not speak either English nor French and eventually got a young man from the backroom to check us in. Confusion then followed as to whether or not the room had been paid for (it had via Booking.com) and we eventually got our key. The reception area was cluttered with piles of paper, the carpet up the stairs to the 1st floor was dirty and threadbare, the walls were marked with deep holes where cases, trolleys, etc had scraped along them. Our room was no better. A dead fly adorned the wall, two electric sockets did not work, the television did not work, the light fitting had bare wires hanging down and the toilet had not been cleaned thoroughly. Being typically English we didn't make a fuss as we were only there for 2 nights and intended to spend most of our stay away from the room. As we were the only guests in the entire hotel for the first night, breakfast next morning was a trial. The hot tray containing hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and what I can only presume to be bacon, was at best uninviting at worst inedible. Even the resident cat would not eat and ambled ouside the dining area to fall asleep on the table outside. On our 2nd and final morning there had been an influx of guests and a bit of an effort put in by the cook. Fresh bacon adorned the hot plate this time with a selection of youghurts as opposed to the solitary raspberry offering the day before. The Manager's wife who seemed to be cook, cleaner, chambermaid and waitress was almost as slovenly as the manager and it all seemed too much effort to get either a hello or even a smile from her. If you enjoy a challenge then book yourself in here and see if you can get any response from the manager. Good luck.

We booked this hotel on line. On arrival, no record of the booking despite showing the online confirmation. No wifi (broken). No facility to pay by credit card, cash only (broken). No air conditioning (not installed). Bed not comfortable. Room stank of cigarette smoke, never did work out if it was previously inhabited by a smoker or if the smoke was blowing in through the window that had to be open because there was no Aircon. Massively over-priced for what it is. Lacks parking but there is on-road and a nearby carpark. Do not believe the 3* rating they claim. Staff were friendly enough though.

They put me in the adjoining building above the NRG fitness centre. That room was okay but the building was always very cold. They agreed to move me to the main building of the hotel but then the heaters were not functional. Then they moved me again and also gave me an additional electric heater. Amad, Bart and Bart's parents were always warm and wanted to make sure I was comfortable.
