Best Western Plus Liberal Hotel & Suites, Liberal

Just a bit west of US83, on the north side of Liberal, close to shopping and a large park (including the water park). Easy checkin, comfortable room. Shower noise from above a bit loud. Full breakfast with diverse seating options. Small, indoor pool.

Hotel was everything we needed as we traveled for a great night stay. Clean, staff was friendly and breakfast in morning was great as well. Room rate was reasonable, bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.

Went to liberal Kansas to visit family and friends. Staying at this hotel was fantastic! Employees were great and Mike the manager was fabulous. If I travel to liberal again I will definitely stay here

The young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful checking in and getting us new room keys as ours didn't work the first time. She also helped us with getting bottled water and etc. If I had to stay in a hotel I'd want to stay here

I have stayed in many different hotels in the last couple decades. I have not stayed in a Best Western. I came to Liberal Kansas to attend a funeral. This Best Western Plus vent highly recommended. I will add my name to that list! Excellent room, breakfast, environment. Excellent price!

We stayed here while visiting family, but stay at hotels often for youth travel ball and this hotel experience was one of of the best we've had in a few years! Super clean, well-maintained. Staff was nice and courteous. We will def stay here again without any hesitation.

Stayed here one night while attending a concert in town. Very nice hotel! Generous sized rooms, quiet and comfortable, everything very clean and well-maintained. What made our stay superb was Felicia, the evening desk clerk. What a sweetheart! So friendly and welcoming! And so willing to go that extra step. We were part of a small birthday party that was allowed to use the breakfast area in the late evening. Felicia made sure we had everything we needed. even provided a large knife to cut the cake and a corkscrew when the one our group had proved uncooperative. She took group pictures and was very attentive, bringing me a bottle of water when I suddenly didn't feel well, likely due to dehydration and fatigue -(for the record, definitely NOT due to the wine as I only had a few sips.)

it was off the regular highway but very nice with several options to walk to eat the rooms were very clean and the internet was fairly fast. I was sorry that i didn't have my suit because the pool looked very nice. Their breakfast bar was very effecient and very well stocked. We will stay here again.

Excellent! Price was lower than most; delicious hot breakfast with lots of choices; clean; friendly staff. . Walk to Walgreens, restaurants. Gas station close. Only one elevator. Masks not required. Stay here!

This was a return visit to the motel so we knew it would be a good experience. The motel is clean, quiet and pleasant. We observed no problems with any aspect of the facility. It will be nice when the Covid-19 modifications have passed. Sincerely, Del Chausse

When I arrived in Liberal, KS storms had knocked most of the power out throughout the town. Even though the power was out the front desk was still able to check me in, get me in my room, and even gave me a bottle of cold water. The room was clean and comfy. I would stay here again on my way through to the Southwest.

Super clean and new hotel. Great staff! While they haven't started serving breakfast yet, they had a great bagged breakfast in the refrigerator for everyone. It had a sandwich, fruit, and breakfast bar and water. The common area was very nice and had a large screen TV.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. WIFI was password protected and easy to access. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pristine. Nice décor and very helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Was very impressed with the whole experience. Staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed! Rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast couldnt be like it normally would but that was no fault of the Hotel...due to Covid restrictions. There was still enough selection to satisfy us. We were glad we chose to stay at Best Western and would definately go back!! Thanks to all the Staff!!

This was a very kind place to stay... the staff were very helpful with everything... the hotel was very clean and it's a beautiful place... the town itself is comfortable and welcoming.. Traveling can be hard on people and so it's good to be able to go to a place that understands life is not always perfect, although it's the helpful and kind people that make it better.... thank you

This is an old Holiday Inn Express location. Sheets are worn and paper thin. The furniture has lots of wear. In my double queen room I couldn't find a spot on either bed that had any support. If I had known this I would have booked at the new Holiday Inn.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are nice and clean, Beds are comfortable with wonderful sheets and pillows too. Jessie at the front desk is amazing in so many ways helping me to adjust stays, book reservations and knows good places to eat. I traveled here for for 8 weeks and absolutely would not stay anywhere else. Wish more Best Western hotels were like this one.

Staff were welcoming, hospitable, efficient and thorough. The hotel was clean with an attractive lobby and very attractive rooms. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was pleasant with pick up muffins, fruit, Greek yogurt, cold cereal, almond milk and coffee. Rooms had Keurig coffee makers and refrigerators. It was a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

We were there 2 nights and service was friendly, bed was comfy and room was clean covid protocol was in place. Within walking distance to nice eat in establishment. Brahms ice cream was close along with other restaurants.

After staying at several hotels in Liberal, I can say this is the one I recommend most. The hotel is taking COVID precautions, which was one reason we chose to stay here. The room was spacious and spotless. Staff were courteous and helpful. Location is convenient with shopping and dining nearby. Little things make a difference; in our suite we had Orville Redenbacker popcorn and a Keurig with multiple kinds of coffee. During COVID, a grab-and-go breakfast is available with quality items like name-brand bottled juice and yogurt or cereal bars, fruit, and bottked water. The indoor pool is big and includes a double shower. There is a nice business center. Rates are very reasonable and, if you join Best Western Rewards like we did, you can earn points and get even more savings. Honestly, this is a well-kept secret because it is off the main highway, but it is right by a big park which makes it perfect for families or for guests who like to walk or run outside. It is quiet for traveling business folks or couples. I believe this hotel is the best option in Liberal!

This BW must have been recently remodeled or just built, it was so clean and fresh. The evening check in person (Jessie) was awesome, pleasant and attentive. We will definitely stay on our way back through the area. Fair price too. It is what I expect out of a BW Plus.

From our reservation to our departure this was exemplary in every aspect. Kim and Julisa treated us like we signed their paychecks - truly earned our business and loyalty Even if we found another hotel with a great reputation we would still visit this Best Western

From the front lobby to the stairwells to the rooms - clean!! Housekeeping staff constantly seen cleaning around the facility. Front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Even though not doing full breakfast, offered grab n go breakfasts. Appreciate the detail to customer service during this crazy time of Covid. We will stay here again if in Liberal for anything.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean. The bed and and pillows were comfortable. Nice big TV with a cleaned remote! We were offered a bagged breakfast if we checked out before breakfast was served.

The look and feel of this hotel was great! Breakfast was perfect and the rooms were clean and modern. We had a very short time to plan the trip and this site was the cheapest we could find in the town. We weren't expecting much because of the price but were blown away when we arrived. Will absolutely stay here again!!

Great hotel and I would highly recommend. Easy access to restaurants and other amenities. The manager was at the desk when we checked in and as the other attendant was busy, he took care of us even though he was getting ready to leave. Great service upon check-in and leaving.

I would highly recommend this property - great value! The room was spacious and housekeeper went above and beyond each day, even replacing the makeup remover wipes (which I love), coffee, towels, and extra toiletries. We enjoyed our stay very much. The fitness room is very small and the treadmill was not working so that was a bummer, but we were happy with everything else and will be back.

The person who checked us in was great, and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious, and very comfortable. The TV was especially larger than what I have experienced other places. Breakfast was your typical BW breakfast with hot and cold items.

Great place to stay great access to anything you need. Fantastic places to eat with in a couple miles. Walgreens right on the corner. Dillion's grocery store on the other side. Hardware store also close if you need anything.

Hotel had everything we needed, reasonably priced and convenient location. Worked well for the young kids with a pool and easy access to the park across the street and dining also within walking distance.

Calling to make the reservation was surprisingly easy and pleasant. Upon arrival checking in was easy and rapid . Everything was clean and nice. Breakfast was very good and fresh with an outstanding attendant. The lobby staff was professional and friendly it was a great experience.

Stayed 2 nights for the Yellow Brick Rd Car show. Excellent location to car show, and great places to eat in walking distance. Overall, really nice little town. Super clean hotel, inside and out. Definitely would stay here again.

The motel was nice and clean. My only complaint was the breakfast. Yuck! Honestly a decent breakfast is huge and this place didn't have much to offer. The girl restocking was working hard but the food was yuck! Do me a favor BW get a decent breakfast!

This was a pleasant stay for a reasonable price. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and staff were helpful and friendly. It is in a good location close to several restaurants, shopping, and a park.

Will definitely stay here again - staff was so helpful as we were stuck in Liberal for several days due to weather. Fitness room was great. Breakfast was awesome with fresh fruit, almond milk, chobani greek yogurt, pastries, eggs, bacon and self made pancakes. Bed was comfy and room clean and updated, even had bag of microwave popcorn in room

Stayed twice in past two weeks, Both nights room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Staff was friendly. Got $10 off by signing into Best Western account. Would stay again when in the area.

I always stay at this hotel when in Tucumcari. It is clean, friendly staff, close to K-Bobs restaurant, and close to I-40. I usually like to stay at hotels with interior doors, but I make an exception for this place.

A little difficult to find. Was told by the desk gal that they had just become a Best Western in May. I had a few questions about my Best Western Rewards and she could not answer them. The night desk gal was new and could use a little more Best Western training also. Both gals were very pleasant and did a good job, I just felt they weren't knowledgeable about the rewards program. The beds were very high and not the easiest for a senior citizen to climb into. Also our heat in the room did not work correctly and cooked us! Extremely CLEAN rooms

Stayed here for a weekend while in Liberal for some summer collegiate baseball. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by friendly staff and were checked in promptly. We had a little time to relax before going to the ballfield the first night. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of things to eat each morning. There are several places to eat at, a grocery store and a pharmacy nearby, all within walking distance. It's also close to the college baseball field where we play.
