Best Western Plus Hotel Lake City, Lake City

Our stay overnight was excellent. Kelly greeted us warmly and provided information about Wi-Fi, breakfast and area restaurants. She even had a coupon for Texas Roadhouse and several others. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and Jean was very accommodating and friendly. I'd highly recommend a stay here!

Great location, felt very safe. Near a lot of places to eat and right off interestate. Room had a seperate sitting area and was huge. No complaints, on my list of places to stay. Was a hot breakfast and met our needs. All members of staff were friendly.

Arriving as a weary Ian hurrican survivor, front desk went above and beyond, carried my luggage to my room to show me exactly where the location was. Breakfast hot and delicious. Beds cushy comfortable and bathrooms clean and bright

This property was clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable and everything worked well. The breakfast was typical Beat Western breakfast, nothing different from other Best Westerns. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside to this property is that it is right on the freeway. We were on the far side so road noise wasn't bad. I recommend this property for your overnight stay. It's a little south of i10 and right on i75, but there is nothing at that intersection.

Bring your own pillows! The pillow are half the size of normal pillows and if you move at all during the night, you head will fall off the pillow and they are not comfortable. Also, the breakfast needs improvement. It says hot breakfast but the only hot options were eggs, that were awful, and Canadian bacon. For how much we paid, it was not worth it and I would stay somewhere else next time. Staff was awesome and the rooms were nice.

We always stay in this hotel when traveling from Wisconsin to Florida. It is always an excellent experience. Room is perfect. Pool was very clean. Breakfast was great. Like the fact that while it is close to the highway, it is also very quiet in the rooms.

Location right at I-75 and Route 90 exit, into heart of Lake City. near restaurants, shopping mall, etc. Yet on side road with privacy and safety. Hotel modern decor, comfortable beds, quiet hotel. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast bar well stocked. Very pleased with stay.

We believed the reviews and were not disappointed. This totally remodeled hotel is clean and nicely updated. All employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is typical but the price was very reasonable and we would stay there again. Just be careful of the directions; we used Wayze and there were two addresses exactly the same . I chose the top one and it directed us across the street; we had to call the hotel and get directions which ended up with the location behind another hotel on a frontage road.

I stayed her due to great reviews and right on I-75 interstate. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was great. The high definition tv had many hbo channels as well as 40-50 channels in total. I would stay again.

The Best Western in Lake City is my exact mid-way point between Miami and Northeast Georgia. Once I get off the Interstate and drive to that hotel, I know all i going to be good, and it always is! Perfect place to stay!

It was a great stay after my lil hassle other then that I love this hotel I'll Definitely come back my lil hassle they wouldn't let me check in earlier I mean after 12:30pm like the Policy says The manager told me she never heard of it but it says you can check in after 12:30 PM if your room is ready then I told her I cannot be on the higher floors because I just had surgery and I do not take elevators because of my anxiety problem she told me they didn't have any first floor rooms available about bust out crying before she found a room on the first floor but after that I had a amazing stay

While it is a 3-star property, it does everything better than any other hotel in its class that I have visited. Superior cleanliness. All the amenities were sparkling clean and in working order. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Hotel is highly recommended. I will visit again!

Nice and clean bedroom and bathroom. Also quiet atmosphere that is good for resting. The desk chair as it is always at the lowest position no matter how many time you raise it.. Fridge has to be close multiple times to fully shut/close. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. I would give it 5 stars if it were not for the chair and fridge.

The clean scent of bleach was in the sheets and bathroom. I totally felt safe and secure that the room was actually clean & sanitized. Spacious room for not a ton of money. Beautiful area, will stay again when I am in Florida.

This BW Plus is very clean. The bed was comfortable. The employees at the Reception Desk were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. This hotel met all of my must haves:. Safe, Clean, Comfortable. It went above and beyond with excellent staffing.

This place is great. Super friendly staff and very well maintained hotel. I really like hotels with 1200 checkout as I hate feeling rushed on vacation - we'll be back. I'd like to stay another day and explore more springs but we're off. Thanksssssd!!!!!!!'n

This hotel was the "perfect landing" spot for two weary travelers. It is right off I-75, very convenient to the expressway. The breakfast was good and had a variety of breakfast items. Very clean cafe!

We chose this hotel based on all the positive reviews and were not disappointed! Large room suite was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff and I mean all of them were so friendly and helpful- from check in late at night to the breakfast staff and house keeping. The breakfast was huge and had large variety and there was plenty of it. Flawless visit from check in to check out (which is a late check out time compared to other places). I wish all hotel stays could be like this one. Zero complaints.

Check in was easy and staff was accommodating with any requests. Booked through a 3rd party (Orbitz), selected "pay at property" option and the property still tried to run my card 3 days before arrival. I waited to approve the transaction and looped in expedia group. Since on site staff was friendly review is 4 stars, otherwise the review would be 2 or three for the sheisty move before arrival. There is a CCS EV charger (level 2) right by the front door!

Professional and courteous staff, clean modern room and comfortable bed in convenient location directly off I-75 close to restaurants and shopping. So nice to find a hotel that actually has hospitality attitude.

We stopped in Lake City and stayed at Best Western Hotel. We had never stayed at Best Western or Lake City before this trip. We travel from southwest Fl to north GA a few times during the year for family. This hotel was less $ per night and had available rooms. Very pleasant experience. The hotel looks new and was very clean. Even though it is close to the interstate it was very quiet. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here on the next trip.

I was quoted one price when I made the reservation but was charged more at check-out. The staff said there was nothing they could do about it. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, bagels and cold cereal, no protein of any kind.

Sorry to hear on your situation. I suggest you always have the hotel send you a confirmation letter so you can always verify everything. We do offer hot items daily too.

Best Western hotels are like rolling the dice: sometimes you win , sometimes you loose. The brand itself is a value 5 star hotel, but, because they have franchises, each hotel has its own staple of standard. This location did not disappoint, sanitized remote control, clean room, bravissimo! BUT, can someone please place King. size pillows on the King bed? And..... you might want to put fuller Queen pillows on the Queen beds. There's nothing worse than sleeping on a nice comfortable mattress with plush bedding and a tiny, tiny pillow. It's a recipe for PAIN ! Abd...... the breakfast , because there was no waffle spray for the waffle maker, my waffle fell apart, the banana nut muffins were stale and the orange juice was watered down .

service was great, only complain is how loud the road is outside, and it was the only place to sit and smoke. Breakfast was very good and always fresh someone always replenishing. Front desk was great.

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes that is a down fall when close to the interstate.

Check in and out is super easy online. Breakfast was not bad, staff was friendly except for the late night staff. Be sure to arrive early because this location does not have enough parking. We came from all over for a wedding and there was no resolution to not enough parking.

This is a very nice facility to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable & very clean. Staff is so helpful. Mattresses are great, towels, bed linens, breakfast is home cooked by a very sweet lady. Overall I hate to stay anywhere else in Lake City. Regular visitor at this facility.

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we've stayed in some time! Arrived in middle of the night-was still greeted courteously. Beds were comfortable, bathroom super clean! We had a great stay!

We made our reservation here the same day we visited. We needed two rooms and thankfully secured the last two that were available. The hotel looks rather bland from the outside so we were unsure what to expect We were pleasantly surprised. Our check in was very smooth as the room keys were all already prepared and waiting for us. The rooms themselves were very spacious, nicely appointed and comfortable. Having in room Direct TV available on a great TV was also a welcome surprise. After a quiet night of good sleep we stopped for the included breakfast before leaving town. Tammi made sure breakfast would be a great way to start the day. A nice selection of options awaited us as well as Tammi herself- who was very friendly and personable- made for a nice send off for us. If you ever have the occasion to stay in Lake City, you should consider this property. Additional Tip: You may want to check in to the hotel before heading out for a meal. They offer a 10% discount for a number of area restaurants when you show your room key.

Nice clean hotel, Thursday night rate reasonable, Friday was jacked up by $70. Very clean and was quiet. Great staff, friendly and courteous. We were here to enjoy the Surrounding state Parks. Big Shoals, Suwannee River, Olustee Battlefield, O'Leno and River Rise all within 45 minutes of the hotel.

Im not s frequent traveler and I dont need a lot if amenities. I just want a clean comfortable room and to feel safe inside. This hotel delivered. It was fairly priced and extremely clean and safe. It also had a great breakfast in the morning. I stayed at 5 different hotels this roadtrip and this was the best. I'll always look for a Best Western on future trips.

Our room was very clean and spacious. The indoor pool area was the cleanest one I have seen. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Hot and cold options were available. We also used ta 10 percent dinner option at a nearby restaurant that we were told about.

This place has it all. Great amenities; car charging station, indoor pool, laundry facilities, plentiful breakfast choices, comfortable bed, excellent shower, and the friendliest, most professional staff.

This location was ideal and the property was well maintained. Every staff member we talked to was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This facility has a heated, indoor pool that was well maintained and nice to use.

This is the nicest Best Western Plus I have ever stayed in. The rooms were super clean and well appointed. The desk staff was very efficient. The breakfast was adequate. The whole experience was perfect. The location just off the highway is perfect as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is fairly new. Room furnishings and appointments are quite nice. The building is very near the highway, but traffic noise in the room was barely noticeable. Very light sleepers might want to request a room on the back side. Beds were comfortable. The only thing that was inconvenient was the shower/bath. No soap dish or caddy of any kind for soap or shampoo. Not a deal breaker, but a bit odd.

I always get great rewards and the staff and cleanliness are amazing, check in was fast and simple. All areas are available at reasonable times. Staff always asks if you need something, small store front for snacks and drinks are always a plus

This hotel was perfect minus the pillows. So just bring your own pillow. They give you 4 small square pillows. It was the weirdest thing ever. The breakfast was great and the hotel is so clean. Front hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Rate extremely high $177 as compared $104 a week prior at BWP-Tupelo MS. Checked into three rooms. 1st rm was not cleaned. Safety issues - 2nd rm was occupied & 3rd rm door issue. Stolen Ipod. Bad Mgr

We've stayed here before and was pleased to be able to get a reservation (Stephenia) for our overnight stay this trip. It's conveniently located with lots of restaurants readily close by. Our check in/out person, Tiana was courteous and friendly. We had breakfast served by Jean, who was very efficient and pleasant. Ido enjoy the 'behind the table' service that is offered due to CoVid guidelines of the hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Easy in/out to I-75.

Very beautiful place. Love the staircase to the second floor that you could use. Made it seem like being in a home. Great breakfast. Immaculate everywhere. Wonderful aromatic shampoo and body soap. Quick overnight stop on way to FL. Didn't use any amenities while there but room was clean and comfortable. Staff at front desk was friendly and quick easy check in. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

I was extremely pleased with this hotel. I was passing through the area and will probably never return to the area. If I were a regular visitor to the area, this would be my first choice for a stay. The hotel was clean and the staff were exceptional.

The BW Plus Lake City stands out compared to similar hotels by its excellent breakfast service. They serve each guest individually and avoid crowds at the buffet. Very clean and efficient. First time I find a menu at a breakfast buffet, it helps to make your decisions before entering the salon.

Glad I brought my own sanitizer wipes because the surfaces of the room were not wiped down properly. Since we are in a pandemic this is very upsetting as it reflects poor attention to detail. Also the noise of the busy highway is very loud inside the rooms. Parking is limited.

I am sorry to hear this. I wish you would have addressed these issues at the hotel level. This happening in one of my rooms is unacceptable and I will most definitely address it with my housekeeping.

We travel I 75 often and have always looked for Best Westerns. This one is right off the exit and easy to find. However, this time, the road was blocked to access the hotel from normal route. We had to cut through another hotel's parking lot and around to get to the entrance. The road opened up again in about an hour after we checked in. Not other problem there. The personnel was very friendly and easily checked us in to our 1st floor king room. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a slight issue with our key cards but was quickly fixed by the front desk. The breakfast was served by staff (Tammy and Rachel) and they did an excellent, efficient job. It was nice not to have to 'fight' our way to the food and it kept messes down from being made with kids helping themselves. I would like to see this continue after CoVid restrictions are lifted. It was pleasant eating experience without the hassle.

Two things made this a great choice for me. First, they had a charging cable for an electric car at no cost. Second, I left my new Apple AirPods in my room when I checked out and an hour later I received a phone call from someone at the hotel. She offered to UPS them to me. Very honest and helpful person I wish I could remember her name but I was driving. Anyway, I got them.

Me and my kids go to hotels to get away and i found best Western was always pleasant.. the staff stay to them selves but is always helpful.. Everything always work and I love how it's ducked off alittle..

Will Not Stay There Again Very Disappointing! Room was not cleaned the second day of our stay asked twice and was told the second time it was too late! I was out most of the day asked the first time at 3:30 and second time 5PM. There was no soap in bathroom upon checkin had to get it from front desk.

I am so sorry you had this experience. The above issues will be addressed. I do want you to know that due to covid we offer cleaning rooms by the third day unless otherwise requested during the hours that our housekeepers are present.

The room and hotel were very clean. The employees at check in weren't wearing a mask but they were behind plexiglass so I did not feel uncomfortable. The pool was open, we didn't use it but given how clean everything else was I would have felt comfortable using it if we had more time. They had a hot breakfast which not many hotels have right now and it was delicious ( I always love their waffles!) the woman working the breakfast station was incredibly friendly and followed all safety protocols.

On the road and stopped here overnight. Very clean. Nice folks from check in, lady serving free breakfast to check out. Been very impressed with the Best Western Plus. Right off interstate and many restaurants on other side of interstate. Desk will give you sheet with restaurants you can get 10% discount like Texas Roadhouse etc.

The place is demonstrably clean in this post-Covid time. The staff is friendly and genuinely welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. It was made by an attendant. We had a breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The cold Jimmy Dean sandwich we had at other places is not even in the ballpark. The attendant says she changes the breakfast offering every day. This is a great place to stay. We've stayed in different hotels for the last 22 days and I don't write a review like this normally.

We loved this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Good breakfast. Wish we had driven straight through instead of stopping in Chatanooga, where we stayed in an awful hotel. Would have been much better getting here at 4am and paying for 2 nights instead. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Clean, modern, comfortable. Good breakfast. Had worker who served you, so safety protocols in place. Lots of restaurants nearby for meals. Indoor pool & fitness room. Along highway on way down south. Lake City seems to be a busy crossroads.

We stayed here on way home from Orlando. When we got into the hotel, we were greeted nicely by the workers in the front desk. We stayed at room 112 close to the front desk and vending. Room 112 was nice. The beds were amazing, but kinda-ish not enough sheets. The bathrooms were nice. The A/C was quiet (which I liked). It blocked the I-75 traffic noise. The TV was great, they had DirecTV. The remote was a little slow, but it worked well. Breakfast was good. They had my froot loops and orange juice. The vending machine was great. I ended up getting a Wild Cherry Coke for the ride home. I will stay at this hotel again.

This property exceeded my expectations. Having traveled and stayed in a variety of states and variety of hotel chains during the current COVID-19 scare, I have experienced the many different ways that the hotel industry has responded to that challenge. While mostly common and assumed, cleanliness from one hotel to another is pretty standard and well done. What sets one property apart from the others is the way it handles breakfast. Now, I know that these places are not restaurants, and their main responsibility is to provide comfortable lodging, but the added perk of having a nice breakfast, especially during these trying times, is what differentiates the value of one over the other. Some properties, while advertising having a breakfast...even a limited breakfast... have responded to the COVID-19 restrictions with the unimaginative offering of a grab-and-go bottle of water and pre-packaged pastry. But not here !! This property offers a breakfast served to order with a variety of hot and cold selections, proving that a nice breakfast can still be provided during these unsettled times; all it takes is some imagination and desire to provide customer service. ( At a time when restaurants are open for business, it is a bit lame for a hotel to fall back on COVID-19 as an excuse for not providing a satisfactory breakfast. But that's just my opinion.) Suffice it to say that this property excels in customer service. The staff is outstanding, the rooms spotless, the towels fluffy, the beds comfy. Thank you to all who contributed to our enjoyment of your property. This property is a great value for your travel dollar I will stay here whenever my travels require.......

Hotel is very nice, great location, nice rooms, comfortable beds. BUT, they had only 1 woman who was trying to cook breakfast, take your order and serve it and keep the coffee urns full. She wasn't the problem. Food was not bad for a chain, and she was pretty quick. But there was no one to clean and sanitize the tables between guests. I brought my own sanitizer, but I didn't see anyone else using it. Until they hire more staff, don't eat breakfast!

Traveling on I-10 to South Carolina needing a place for one night. Looked at the reviews of this hotel and decided to give it a try. We were extremely pleased! Staff friendly and helpful, room immaculate and as a bonus an indoor pool to enjoy. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Lake City is the-midpoint between my home and the a place I visit. I will always pick this Best Western. The room was spotless and the management was intent on making sure we are safe. I was surprised at the quality of the individually prepared breakfast. Some hotels make a minimal effort for breakfast, but this was good.

My husband and I spent 3 days at this hotel over the New Year's weekend. A little leary of traveling with the whole Covid-19 pandemic, but as soon as we walked in you could tell this hotel was serious about cleanliness. It was spotless!. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

I'm a Best Western Rewards member so I have stayed at a number of BW hotels. We planned a trip from Michigan to southern Florida. I selected a BW in Knoxville and this one in Lake City. I was very satisfied with this facility and would stay again. Check in was fast and the staff friendly. The people in Florida have a different view of Covid but I did fell safe. The staff did their part to make us feel safe. The room was comfortable. The hotel was right off I-75 so easy off and back onto the highway.

Everything was good except for the non-civid compliant breakfast. The server wore her mask around her chin, had no gloves, and although she was trying, was not hygienic at all. It would have been much safer to let us grab our own and go, rather than have her handling the food, setting it down on uncovered couters, placing syrup packages on top of the waffles, and all sorts of other errors.

This hotel had a larger room to give our family plenty of space. It was also very clean and inviting starting with the lobby, then the room, then the indoor pool. The staff was very helpful and the location great.

I had an issue with wifi connection on one side of the hotel. But the staff moved my room to where i had better connection and made sure it worked before we moved which was so nice. I had no further issues after. I love how fair the prices are compared to other hotels. I definitely will be back!!

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life! I checked in at 6am due to working the overnight shift, asked for accommodations for a late checkout. Front desk representative made it sound like I was not even going to be able to check in, because she already entered me into the system as a "No-show"! Made me feel extremely unwelcome. I specifically made a note in my reservation about how I was going to require EV charging, but one of the employees decided to park their gasoline-powered vehicle in the EV charging spot before I arrived which caused an additional headache. The hotel employee responsible was not very accommodating or nice to me about creating this inconvenient situation, despite my specific instructions regarding my requirement for EV charging in my reservation notes. I was only going to be at this hotel for 6 hours due to the lack of willingness of the front desk staff to accommodate a later checkout. I put the "privacy please" sign on my door to prevent housekeeping from waking me up during this short time period. Well GUESS WHAT, housekeeping knocked on my door, waking me up after only 2 hours! The room was already made up before I entered, what was going to be the purpose of her entering the room if I was supposedly marked as a "no-show" anyway? There was no communication at all between the front desk check-in and housekeeping to prevent a sleep disruption. The personnel at this hotel clearly are suffering from a literacy problem, since the "privacy please" sign did not prevent the housekeeping staff from waking me up at 9:30am. Unfortunately I was not able to get back to sleep. I would have rather just spent the additional 2 hours it would have taken for me to drive straight home from work and sleep in my own bed without being disturbed. This was an absolutely ABYSMAL experience.

I am sorry for your experience you had here and I promise it was addressed. The EV charging area my employees are not allowed to park in that spot. I can assure you no employee parks in that area, We hope you will come back and see us so you can see and be rest assured it will not be that way again.

Every employee we came in contact with was extremely friendly, polite and helpful to us. The hotel was beautiful, even outside. Landscaping and front sitting areas were exceptionally clean. Check in was simple, prompt, and courteous. The entire hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and clean and had plenty of towels!!! That was a plus for a family of four with two young kids, we can never have enough towels. The indoor pool was great. I expected it to be slightly warmer in the water and the echoing in the pool room gave me a headache. But that was probably just my kids screaming because they were having so much fun! Definitely will stay here again!!

When we saw the location of the hotel we figured we'd be pulling out earplugs due to the close proximity to the highway. We're we wrong!! One of the best nights sleep without the earplugs! The mattress was comfortable, the room and the hotel extremely clean and updated. After seventeen days of travel it was so nice to have a hot breakfast, served. The staff is great and overall this hotel deserves 10 stars! We're adding this hotel to the top of our list for our next round of travels!

When I was looking for a place to stay in Lake City I reviewed all the options and found this Best Western. It was ranked high in customer surveys, plus was not as expensive as other properties. And they were right. The hotel looks brand new, but it is not. Regardless, it is nearly spotless inside and outside. Check-in was quick and safe. My room was immaculate. The front desk provided a list of near-by restaurants that gave a discount if you ate there and showed your key card (at the time of this review). This BW provided a hot breakfast buffet. For safety, an employee with mask and gloves does the actual serving. You can eat in the breakfast area or take it back to the room - your choice. All employees were masked and did social distancing. While next to the interstate, the room was very quiet. I will stay here again on my next trip to Lake City.

Stayed overnight to go to Itchatucknee springs. Hotel is new and it was so clean and beautifully decorated. Rooms have high ceilings and it felt larger with plenty of room for 4 people. Beds are comfortable and bedding was soft. Love the orange scented shampoo, conditioner and lotion. They had the breakfast set up with a server to serve you hot food following the covid protocols. The breakfast attendant was very professional and friendly. They also had grab and go bags. Very impressed with this Best Western!!

I am a grounded international traveler and Met with a friend in Lake City for the weekend. I being older and of course concerned about the virus I called numerous times to make sure that the hotel was properly sanitized. I spoke with Elbert numerous times. Every time I called he was extremely warm friendly and helpful in every way. Upon arrival, check in was wonderful and great to see Elbert in person. The room was immaculate, hotel very modern due to remodeling. Bed and tv excellent. Ac that is actually controlled in the room.

Spent one night here after making a reservation while driving about 30 minutes beforehand. No problem checking in and staff very friendly. Nice room on 2nd floor. Several restaurants close by. Room looked very clean and staff all wore masks. The Internet seemed to stop or drag at times and it took a while for the water to get hot, but overall, it was a nice comfortable stay.

My wife was concerned about staying at a hotel due to Covid19. But we were assured that they had taken all the necessary precautions. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely professional. We were in a hurry checking out, so we did not eat breakfast. However, we stayed at this same location in January and the breakfast was great. It has been recently remodeled and was a good place to stay at a good price. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night to break a trip from SWFL to N GA because of impending storms. Hotel and staff met all our needs, impressive facility. We had two tornado warnings during the night and felt safe and secure.

The general description on Tripadvisor still refers to this hotel as a Country Inn and Suites, however it was rebranded as a Best Western Plus in 2019 and the renovation is just excellent. Rooms and Lobby area have all been tastefully and beautifully redecorated. Everything looks clean and new. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is complimentary with lots of options. Convenient location near the Interstate but not too noisy. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was super clean. It was very nice. The staff were all extremely friendly. The gym was small but nice. The pool was indoor and heated. The bathroom in the room was spacious. The shower head was adjustable and the massaging head was great! Just a FABULOUS place.

I am a frequent road tripper and use Best Westerns all the time, but this was my first stay at this property. The staff was great across the board and the hotel location is a quiet corner of a major interstate freeway junction (I-10 and I-75). There are suites available at this BW Plus location and the rooms have all been upgraded to the current BW Plus standard. Very nice. The breakfast is the expected BW buffet with an array of cold and hot items including make-you-own waffles. I would highly recommend this hotel for road trippers of all ages.

I was very happy with my stay at this Best Western Plus. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. They had maps of the area with restaurants that offered discounts as well. The hotel is clean and quiet. It has a heated pool, fitness center, and laundry facilities. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs a place to stay, whether it's one night or several.

We stopped at this hotel for one night on our way South because it was convenient and near a variety of restaurants. We were very surprised by how nice it was. It was newly renovated and was beautiful inside. Our room was spacious and very clean and very quiet. It had a "fresh remote". Our king bed was very comfortable, the towels were white and fluffy and the toiletries higher end. The bathrooom was large and bright. The lighting was good. There were ample mirrors, a new flat screen TV with a great channel lineup, coffee pot, microwave and frig. It was a little more money than we usually pay for a one night stay but the free breakfast made up for the difference. Hot eggs and bacon, waffles, hot and cold cereal with lots of toppings, fruit, juices, coffee and sweet treats. They have a" no pet" policy which pleased us because of my allergies. The staff was friendly and helpful. Zack and Cie were always smiling, answered all our questions, took care of our special requests and had restaurant recommendations. We will be back, perhaps on our way back North.

This property was a Country Inn that was refurbished in early 2019 under the BW banner. The rooms were completely re-done, as well as the public areas. The bedding was great, as were the appointments and amenities in the room, including an excellent (ie, quiet) A/C-Heating unit. The front desk personnel and attendants at the breakfast were very cordial. The property is easy to get to off from the highway and there are restaurant and fuel services close to the property. A little oddity is that the two entrances to the hotel both show 'ENTER,' with no exit!! But, that is easy to overlook with the attention to details represented by owners and management o this hotel. We were traveling back north at the end of the year; there were a lot of choices; we picked this one and doubt we could have done better with the large number choices in the area.

If you need a place to lay your head for the night come see Zack! He has amazing customer service skills. Very personable and friendly. He quickly got me checked in and in my room! He also gave me recommendations for food and things I could do in the area. To top it off the room was clean and spacious. The beds could be more comfortable but other than that I was pleasantly surprised about my experience. I definitely will be staying here again if I'm coming through lake city. Zack keep being a rockstar!!!

front desk gal was very un friendly and really needs Csr training, rude, not much info giving when checking in, no smile, no hello, no idea for breakfast hours, did not comunate to us at all, talked to manager the next day and she said she would address it. after driving 14 hours ,we needed to just have a smile.

Great location with clean facilities and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was excellent. Breakfast was laid out in an orderly fashion with staff ready to assist too. It included waffles too. Great night.

The reception that we received was excellent. The room was well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. We would certainly stay at this location on another trip 0nd I would recommend this hotel to your readers. Breakfast was included.

Zack at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and suggested Marian's Deli in town for dinner which was very good. We were in a 3rd floor room at the back of the building and could not get wifi because of a weak signal in that part of the hotel. A little annoying.

We have not had much luck with other places lately....Hilton's...Marriott, etc due to noise....cleanliness....employees not doing their jobs correctly by letting people run and jump in hall. It's been a nightmare with us on the road at 3-4 AM. (You get the picture). This Best Western Plus was exceptional in every way possible. From accommodations to pleasant staff and delicious breakfast. We loved everything about this place. Apparently it had some renovations done in the last year and it's perfect. Very comfortable and relaxing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat We will now start looking for BWP places to stay in the future

We were coming back from New Orleans on our way home to South Florida. The hotel was easy to get to and close to Route 75. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the normal fare and satisfying. I thought the price was high for an average hotel in a non-tourist city.

We are conveniently located right along I 75 and only 8 miles South from I 10. So no matter where the road takes you we will be here for you! I wish you the best in all your future travels.

This is a remodeled hotel, very well cared for by the staff. Our room was on the back side of the building as was very quiet. Lots of amenities, such as coffeemaker, microwave, small fridge and large flatscreen TV. The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. The bathroom has ample counter space and a tub, which I appreciated for shaving my legs. My husband didn't care for the showerhead, but they had nice bath products that were free of irritating ingredients. The breakfast was pretty typical...so much white flour and sugar. I wish they had wheat bagels, bran muffins and Greek yogurt. Coffee had a very good flavor.The woman who takes care of the area did a great job keeping it clean and stocked. It goes until 10am which is very accommodating. There was a friendly gentleman who kept the parking lot and lobby area very clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel because I had stayed previously when it was associated with another brand, and decided to give it a try. The hotel has been redone, and is practically new. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with my choice to stay here and I will stay again when I am in the area again, and I am in the area at least twice per year.

We stayed here after a Florida football game. A very easy 40 minute drive from Oaks Mall in Gainesville, where we parked. Hotel was full of football fans from the game. Nothing fancy, but clean and easy to get to. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Lobby was closed by 10 pm, making re-entry difficult at 10:15 and 11 pm because the automatic door would not open. There was no sign on the main road for the hotel, and when I called for directions and they said I was only 2 minutes away on the hotel map if I continued to go west, but although they saw my location, I should have gone east, which cost me 15 minutes. Although the hotel was beautifully refurbished, the long wide strip of mold or black wear from the bottom of the bathroom mirror to the sink was repulsive. The room kept getting colder because the heat was not working, and there was no clerk on duty to report it to. The internet worked fine until 1 AM, but then stopped working. When I checked out and told Zach that the room was 62 degrees from 3 AM on, he said he would look into it. I told him I left it running at 88 degrees but it was still cold, he seemed not to believe me. I tipped the maid with a note about the mold and lack of heat, which she should have reported.

We talked about the confusion of our locating us via US 90, and how you were miss guided on your way in. Within our conversation you felt better knowing our bathroom mirror frame is made to look tarnished, and it is not mold. The AC unit in your room was not up to our standard, and the heat did not kick on for you. As soon as our conversation was through I made sure my Maintenance fixed it. He assured me he did, and it is working correctly now. This way no other guest has the experience you did with a chilly room and no heat. I am glad we were able to speak over the phone for as long as we did. I truly appreciate you giving me the time and going further into detail with the issues you experienced. We have stayed in this hotel many times in the past. The hotel is now a Best Western Plus, and this was by far our best experience. Everyone on staff was very accommodating to all of our needs and requests. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed in Lake City after going to Gainesville, FL. to watch a Gator football game. The best Western Hotel looked very nice and clean from the outside as well as the inside lobby, entire room, and where we ate breakfast. Great breakfast, plenty of choices. This was a very nice hotel for the price. We will stay here again.

Check-in by Zack was fast and pleasant. This worker was there at 8PM and then again at 8AM. Route 75 was directly out our window which was a little noisy so if your a light sleeper I'd advise requesting a rear room. Room was very nice and clean with microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Several restaurants close-by and some will deliver. Breakfast was a little on the lean side with scramble eggs and sliced ham slices but no potatoes, bacon or sausage. Waffle maker with toppings, french toast, fruit and bread items to choose from. All in all a pretty nice place to stay while on the road.

My Husband and I stayed at this Best Western Plus in Lake City, we used our points, which were outrageous to start, it took 28,000 points, we checked in, and the staff was very friendly, we went to the room, 206, walked in at 7pm, the AC was OFF!! this is Florida, so it was 95 degrees that day, so needless to say, it never cooled down, we were sweating all night long! Thank God we carry a fan, but it wasn't much help. So the next morning we checked out, I checked my bank account,only to find out they charged my card $30+, I called and they said yes, it was our mistake and it should fall off in 3-5 business days! Seriously, so now i am out that extra money, sweated at night, and the bed was hard, so an uncomfortable night! And a waste of points that took us several stays to earn! We stay in a Super 8 in Waycross Ga a lot, and it is 100% better than this expensive Best Western. We will never stay at this Location again!! Not worth the points or the cash.

I made a reservation for three nights with a desk clerk named, "Elbert" because we were having to evacuate our Florida home due to hurricane Dorian. Everything seemed great and we were happy to get the rates quoted to us, HOWEVER, WHEN I CALLED ON THURSDAY 8-29-2019 TO ASK ABOUT EXTENDING AN EXTRA DAY, THE DESK CLERK "ZACK" SAID THAT OUR RESERVATION WAS ONLY FOR TWO NIGHTS. i HAVE THE PRINTED CONFIRMATION SHOWING THE DATES, BUT WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE SORRY BUT THEY WERE FULL DUE TO THE EVACUEES AND WE COULD NOT HAVE OUR THIRD NIGHT, EVEN THOUGH WE MADE THE CORRECT RESERVATION INITIALLY. After telling him that it was their mistake, not mine and demanding this problem to be fixed, I was put on hold while he spoke with his manager, Linda Beckner. After returning to the phone, I was told that "I could have that third night, but it would be $139.00. My price quote for that night originally was $98.10. This is EVACUEE PRICE GOUGING AND ILLEGAL. I HAVE CONTACTED OUR ATTORNEY. HE AGREES, SO I WILL LEGALLY FOLLOW UP. Do not stay here or make reservations that you need to rely on at this Best Western plus-----no longer a Country Inn and Suites !!!!

Our staff is trained to repeat at the time on confirmation the dates booked to ensure we are correct on our end. If there was a form of miss understand on any end I give my sincere apologies, I do understand this is a very stress full time for every one in the way of the storm. We have been busy here doing our best to be able to accommodate each guest with each individual need, including yours, we were able to move several rooms around to be able to give you the third night you were needing, I am sorry if you were not originally quoted that in your price. If you feel as if another property can accommodate you and your needs better I would be more than willing to cancel out your stay. Our hotel is in the path of the Hurricane, and yes we will be expected to lose power, we do not offer any form of back up generators for our hotel. Breakfast may not be served. and we may only have emergency exit lighting offered. Again I am sorry you feel as strongly as you do. Our rated do change daily from weekend and weekday, Monday was and is a holiday with us being North Central Florida we are a hub for natural rivers and springs. We always have high demand on Labor Day.

There were many options for hotel stays in the area but I had a coupon for BW and decided to stay there because of the discount. No one ever knows what the BW will offer since each is independently operated . I was not disappointed. The hotel has been newly redone, and the room I was assigned was clean. It is one of the few hotels that still offers hair conditioner in addition to shampoo. It is the little things that count. In addition, at breakfast there was one of the staff who volunteered to make waffles for guests. What a bonus! it was a nice touch. Since I was traveling, it is an easy on and off for Rte 75.

A simple offering such as making you a waffle can go the extra mile. Making sure you have everything you may need in your room is just an added bonus. These items can make a huge difference to guests. They do count! Being that we are conveniently located right along I 75 is a big plus we are also not too far from I 10 as well. Clean, quiet, great staff, would definitely stay there again. Did recommend vegan breakfast options. Anxious to see if they accommodate next time. We were here a year ago, when they were mid-transition from Country Inn and Suites. Now, as a Best Western Plus they are still wonderful! Clean, bright and a staff that goes above and beyond every time. Ms. Jutta is as warm and welcoming as ever! At check in, the room we booked through a third party provider was not available so the desk attendant upgraded us and told us as he handed us the key—all courtesy and professionalism. The breakfast was hot and well laid. The hotel is right off 75. You could not ask for a better stay.

It was updated and very clean. Stocked with plenty of supplies(blankets, pillows, etc...)Good breakfast.Well staffed. Great experience. Pool was very nice and well kept. It wasn't too busy. Thank you!!

This property was clean with a plentiful breakfast. There were several fruits available. The staff at the front desk was young but pleasant. One of the young ladies had to come to my room and manully set up my tv otherwise no issues.

We went to Itchitucknee springs for a family outing and stayed at the Best Western Lake City hotel. The hotel went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and appreciated. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and recommended things to do and see and restaurants. I am sorry I forgot his name but I do appreciate all he did. The rest of the staff we interacted with were also helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Due to traffic congestion on I-75 between Knoxville and Atlanta we were way behind schedule and tired. We needed to make an unplanned stop and Valdosta Georgia was all booked. We contacted Best Western and were able to get a last minute room at the Best Western Lake City The stay was great, the room was clean, and everything was great.

We stop here for just one night, but we enjoyed the time there. The staff member welcomed us great, and the room was very comfortable, nice space, and the pullout couch was good for my daughter. The breakfast had a good variety of foods. The place was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Free parking, wifi and breakfast.

Hotel is clean which is huge for us! Rooms were decorated tastefully. Hotel staff was very friendly & helpful! Breakfast was sufficient & goes from 6-10am. So we were able to relax & sleep in a bit & still get breakfast.

We stayed her for the weekend because we were visiting one of the state parks with some friends. Upon arriving we were greeted with a smile and the hotel was very clean and the rooms updated. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of one staff member that seemed to ignore us, but everyone else went above and beyond to help make it a nice stay.

Pet friendly and staff was excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. I left a valuable item behind and it was kept safely until I could return to pick it up. Recommend for a family to enjoy a nice hotel at a great value.

Stayed going and coming from Sanibel Island - good mid point in travel. Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel was very clean in lobby and room. BW had just purchased and remodeled. Convenient to several restaurants and interstate I-75.

Nice and clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was great and very professional. Only issue for us was the noise from I-75 due to closeness of it to the hotel. I'd likely stay again

We stayed one night on our way home from FL to NC. They remodeled the rooms and they look very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The welcome package at checkin is a nice touch. We will be staying again on our next trip from FL.

We stopped in here after a very long drive and we so grateful we did. Sparkling clean room, excellent bed, wonderful bed linens and the towels were fabulous. We had everything we needed for a good night's rest. Breakfast the next morning was enjoyed by all.

I was booked into this hotel by the VA the night before early morning surgery. The young man who checked us in Sunday night was very courteous and helpful. I found the guest room to be well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The furnishings were very contemporary and tasteful. The large television offered many HD channels. The bath linens were first class. The breakfast attendant was also very accommodating Monday morning. I would recommend this hotel for anyone on business or a leisure trip.

I had a very Pleasant experience while staying here for a concert. The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with many options available. I would stay here again.

We generally book our hotels early in advance so that we can sure we have the type of accommodations we'd like to have We decided to check in at Best Western plus because we were running late Zack and Ebert checked us in and did a great job in finding us the right room and the right price for a room we didn't think we could find I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Florida or from Florida to any other location clean excellent rooms comfortable bed and breakfast in the morning

This was the GREATEST experience Ive had with an hotel! I felt like a member of the family! All of the staff and guest were so friendly and helpful .Beautiful property and the BEST service in the state! Marriott just lost some frequent clients!

Our first visit to this high traffic stop on I-75. The reviews were spot on. The hotel was a good choice. One of my main gripes in this price range is poorly equipped amenities and particularly chinsy towels rationed out in threes. These were plump and new and plenty for a night time and morning shower. The room was clean, perhaps a little dark, but we were asleep though most of it. Would very definitely stay again and recommend to our friends

This is one of the best Best Westerns I have been in. The hotel was clean, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful (not overly so where it seems fake but the perfect combo making you feel welcome). The breakfast was yummy and full of options. I would totally stay again if I was in the area.

The grounds were cleaned and manicured. Structure was cleaned and loved the colors. Staff was helpful and takes care of your needs. Room was clean and neat. Smelled fresh and clean. Bed waa firm but slept very well. Wasn't stuffy. Didn't get a chance to enjoy pool but it was nice.

Very nice I thought I was at a Hampton, great check in, our room was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants very close, we didn't have breakfast but I looked at it and looked nice. Would stay there again

What a lovely review. Thanks for the kind words. We have just recently completed a full renovation on our entire hotel. Everything in each of our guest rooms are brand new. I credit the nice clean rooms to my Housekeeping staff. They are among the hardest workers in the hotel, making sure our rooms are in pristine order for each of our guests. Customer service is second nature to each one of our staff members, they all put their heart into it. We do have about 30 restaurants with in a 2 mile strip of us, several options to choose from depending on what your craving. We cannot wait to welcome you back as our guest, this time in hopes you are able to enjoy our delicious breakfast.

Stayed here because of the reviews on Trip Advisor,didn't have a reservation but we got the last room they had, which was a suite... very clean, comfy beds.... the staff was super,,,, will stay again next trip south!!! Only negative was the food at breakfast, it was cold and I was there when they opened at 6am...

If you are in Lake City and need a place to stop over night, this is your place. Chris at the front desk was wonderful. We must of looked Road weary because she gave us a room where we could rest away from the group that was there. The room was immaculate and nicely furnished and had windows that opened. My husband had left his case with his Rx behind and the BW graciously mailed it to us down in the FL Keys. Thank you Jackie for finding it and then sending it to us. We will definitely be stopping here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel with great staff! It has recently been updated and it is very nice. We had a quiet room on the 3rd floor. We loved it. The breakfast area is spacious and very clean. Again really friendly staff.

The second best BW+ we have stayed in. Although that is not really fair as the other was the BW in Fort Myers Beach and it is a resort and well has the beach. But this is a great hotel. Zack at the front desk was the best. Upgraded and when asked to be on 1st floor that was not a problem. Was difficult to find.

The next time you find your self our way we will be your #1! We may not have a beach you can walk on to but we are rich with natural springs around our area. Crystal clear water at a nice 72 degrees all year round. Great for fishing, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, or tubing down. I am glad however to make it with in your top 2. Zack is a awesome guest service rep. He goes above the calling to make sure your stay is one of a kind. Thanks for mentioning him in the amazing review. We are a little tucked away, located on a service road running parallel to I75 South, but I like to say if you found us once you will never forget where we are! I think this is a new motel. Everything was clean and fresh looking. Staff was helpful. The room was larger than most. Comfortable beds, though quite tall. Room was quiet and everything worked. There are several restaurants within easy driving distance.

We reservations at a nearby hotel. Walked in, smelled a horrible Oder and managed to cancel our reservation. Called the Best Western and connected with a lovely lady at th reservation desk who booked a quiet room for us, gave us directions, and was waiting to check us in when we arrived. Our room was clean, the products provided were a great quality, breakfast in the morning included fresh fruit, bagels, waffles etc. along with a friendly lady who refilled the coffee pots, juice etc as soon as it emptied. Every area of the hotel was clean and smelled fresh rather than covered by air freshener. The friendliness of the staff made our stay even better. This was our first stay at a Best Western Plus. It won't be our last.

Stayed for one night on way to St. Petersburg. Impressed with newly remodeled rooms, was done high quality. Bed was very comfortable, top of the line TV, had a refrigerator, microwave, and in room coffee maker. Good breakfast: cold cereals, oatmeal, waffles, variety of bread and pastries. Eggs, sausage and gravy. Three different juices and coffee. Would stay again. Have never been disappointed with our stays at any Best Western.

This is our fifth or sixth trip through the area and this hotel never disappoints. Clean room, good shower pressure and good breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Kind of sad that they removed the hot tub.

The second of our recent stays in a Country Inn and both featured helpful staff, clean rooms and an enjoyable breakfast. Desk clerk provided discount coupons for various restaurants nearby and we took advantage of Texas Longhorn, good friendly service and a very good meal. Overall it was a very restful stopover on a long trip.

We stayed for a quick overnight visit. The check in was quick and easy. The room was fresh and clean. We were up early for breakfast and it was nicely stocked with the typical hotel breakfast food. Oatmeal, eggs, biscuits n gravy, yogurt, pastries, and cereal. It was a nice stay

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel and again it didn't disappoint. The rooms are clean and modern and they have the best breakfast (waffles, French toast, eggs, sausage patties.....) of any hotel we've stayed at.

This was our first stay at this Hotel. My family and myself had a nice overnight stay here. The staff was very helpful especially the breakfast staff. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool immensely. Would definitely stay here again.
