    « Very nice »

While on vacation, we wanted to stay a night in Gatlinburg, however the city was sold out we decided to look a little further out. We were not disappointed. Very clean, nicely modernized, great full hot buffet! I would definitely stop by on my travels again!

    « Very Clean »

Very clean hotel we stayed only one night but we are also staying again this week on our way home from vacation. Close to the interstate and easy to find. Our mom was on another floor but they told us on our return trip they said they would give us adjoining rooms and discounted one of the rooms. We love Best Western.

    « Good value »

Stopped for the night and this was a pet friendly place. Plenty of other hotels and restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store next door and a gas station fronting the main road. Quick, easy check in. Property seemed a bit worn and dated and we noticed they used too much scent when cleaning the halls. Suite was clean. We were happy that it had an entry area, sitting area and king bed. Extra sink out of the bathroom near the fridge and microwave. The bed was adequate, but not one of the most comfortable. Large TV. Breakfast was ok, with fake eggs & sausage, waffles and the usual cereal and bakery. Again, it was ok, not one of the best. Overall, it was nice having the extra space of a suite for a reasonable price in a convenient location. Good value for an overnight stop off of I-75.

    « Turkey Getaway »

Easy to locate, Very convenient to eat and get gas nearby. We ate at a Cracker Barrel which was right near the hotel. Comfortable bed. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Clean and updated hotel and room. Would definitely stay here again.

« One night stay on the way to Sarasota Fl »

King size bed at $85/night (includes breakfast). Facility was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a small buffet, nothing to write home about. For a one night stay the facilities were quite adequate.

    « Great motel »

We were quite happy with our day at the Best Western in Knoxville. The staff was great and it was a clean establishment. I would stay there again. I have no complaints. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

    « Great! »

Really close to many things. Room was really clean and comfortable.. I had no idea it was a suite until we opened the door. Plenty of room for the three of us to unwind! Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast was decent. Would recommend!

« Good value hotel with large rooms, but the area hotel's in seems a bit sketchy »

When we checked in late on a Friday night, the lobby had a couple people using the WIFI and the receptionist was nice. As I drove the car from the veranda to the parking lot, I was reminded where I was. There was a beater Honda Accord or similar with it's driver side window broken and a black garbage bag covering the hole. I later drove to the gas station next door and noticed the burglar bars on the door. About that time a beater Cadillac pulled into the pump next to mine and a huge black guy with his pants practically down to his knees gets out to fill the tank. Nothing happened to us or our car (parked about 4 spots from the beater car) and the rest of the area at this exit on I-75 had lots of restaurants and stores, so I wouldn't have figured it was a sketchy area. We stayed one night en route to a family activity.

    « All around great »

I wish we could have stayed longer, but we were on our way to SC. This was the best place our whole trip. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the staff genuinely nice. Absolutely not a single complaint. The cost was also less because it was north of the big east /west freeway. Quiet, too.

« Could not be happier. »

We chose this hotel because of the great experience we had at the Best Western in Wytheville Virginia. This hotel was just as good. The two hotels were the best "Pet Friendly" hotels we have ever stayed at. They were a little more money but were well worth it! We will be staying at Best Western hotels for now on. It was well located and easy to get off and on the freeway.

« The Best Host (Joanne) and Gem in Knoxville. »

I got to Knoxville for the AL vs UT game with a room already booked. Once I checked in the room I noticed it was nothing like the pictures or reviews I seen. The amount we paid was so expensive and it looked like a truck stop. So I cancelled my room with no where to go. I went online and seen Best Western was available in the same area so I took the risk ignoring the good reviews this time. However, since it was past 12am I could only book for the next day. I called up there and spoke to Joanne at the front desk and man what a beautiful warming person. I told her my situation, and she got me booked in with a competitive price and the rooms was amazing. She told me to call her when I got back to the room to let her know how it reviewed to me. I must say instead I walked down and let her know how amazed I was and how nice the room was. Grant it we got the suite and it was one of the better rooms but it was just like staying at the Marriott. Joanne made sure my stay was good the entire trip and I can't complain. Would stay here any day.

« We left the drops!!! »

The most memorial thing about our stay was the fact that an hour away from here we realized we had left my wife's eye in the refrigerator. I called the motel and while I was on the phone they checked the room, found the drops, and asked me what I wanted them to do with them. I assume they would have mailed them to us, but we were in the middle of our vacation. I turned around and went back to get them. They were at the front desk waiting when we got back. As far as the hotel goes, it was a nice Best Western and we slept well. That is all we asked for for this one night stay.

« super nice clean rooms »

excellent hotel, clean rooms, great staff, convenient to dining and interstate..travelling through and really enjoyed the quality and friendliness of people both in the hotel and locally..would definately stay again

    « My stay »

Helpful staff and clean hotel! Very convenient to the Interstate. The swimming pool was clean and we took the opportunity to relax in the spa! In fact we made it a point to book our room for our return trip back home. Great value, great price!

    « Stop over »

My son was moving all of his belongings from Ohio to Orlando and we were looking for a safe place to stay along the way. The front desk person was really nice and let us park our vehicle and U haul trailer right outside the lobby door. The room had old, worn furnishings and smelled a little. We were lucky we parked where we did because there was a police chase right through the parking lot during the night. Apparently someone was breaking into cars.

« Would not go back »

There is something about this hotel that we couldn't put our finger on--but it just has an atmosphere of shabbiness. Add to that the worst hotel breakfast we've ever experienced: very poor quality baked goods; thin, dry disks of industrial egg; a toaster that hardly works; strange yellow stuff masquerading as butter... Across three nights, we couldn't get the a/c to function well; either it didn't cool at all, or it froze us. I'm amazed by the rave reviews.

« Great hotel, with convenient location »

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family in Knoxville. This was a nice hotel and within walking distance of many restaurants. The included breakfast was excellent (my daughter loved the biscuits and gravy!). The hotel staff was courtesy, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

    « Very Nice »

Would definitely recommend this Hotel. It's convenient to stores and gasoline stations and less than a mile to the Interstate. Good quality and value for the money expended. We'll stay there again...They were very accepting of our dog.

    « Overnight stay »

We were on our way to Altanta and chose to stay overnight here. The rooms were really a nice size. The bed was really comfortable. The price was right for what they have to offer .Close to the highway and near a Starbucks across the street.

« Easy, pleasant, with a warm pool »

Check in was easy and our reservation was readily found. We got ourselves and our children into the room quickly. The hotel is a bit run down at the edges (vanities need repair, bed box springs need vacuumed, corners need cleaned) but otherwise it was a clean and neat experience. The pool was warm, which the kids loved. Their sofa bed was not the best experience, a spring was pushed up through the top on one side, but we covered it with a heavy blanket we'd brought and he slept on it anyway. Beds were hard for us and not overly comfortable, but they were clean and bug free. Considering we were able to use our cc rewards on the stay - we were happy. OH, and we were right by the elevator, but didn't hear it once - even at night.

    « Great Value »

Has a 4th floor room away from traffic. Just hear to spend the night on the way to Nashville. Everything we need and affordable. Breakfast was pretty typical. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful

« Not bad for a budget hotel »

Check in was seamless. That's always a plus when you get in late. Breakfast was good. They offered everything from biscuits and gravy to cinnamon rolls. The shower was hot. The toilet isn't fastened down so it moves when you sit on it. The room did have a microwave and refrigerator. Nothing fancy, but better than the average Best Western.

    « Great overnight stay »

Our room was updated and very clean. There were a few areas that could us some updating. The front desk staff was great at check in. The employee at check out seemed a little overwhelmed. Overall this is a good hotel. The bedding was great, the bed was a bit too hard for mom and I. I will stay here again. The pool was wonderful and warm. The hot tub was a bit small, but there was one so that was a bonus.

« Reunion Time in Tennessee »

Coming back from central Tenn we decided to check on this B.W. As we were working our way home. Rooms very well maintained and clean. Got adjoining rooms with my son and grands and it was wonderful. The clerk was friendly at check it and everything was just as you would want it to be. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The pool was nice for the kids and I enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely come back or recommend to others.

    « Never again »

Over a 2 night stay, I was double charged on my card. There was no internet access. There was no parking available in the lot. This was the worst value for my money that I have ever had. I will not be returning for business or leisure travel.

« A decent enough place to stay »

We stopped here for one night, and it was fine. The room was clean enough, and it was quiet. The pool was small and super hot inside, but it worked out well for our kids to expend some energy after a long car ride from Chicago. We didn't eat breakfast here because we needed to go to Waffle House (which is right next door). Not a destination by any stretch of the imagination, but a serviceable enough place to stay for a night on a road trip.

« Pratt Road Best Western Knoxville Tenn »

I usually try to book this hotel when in Knoxville. The service and cleanliness are consistently good and the rooms are quiet. I have actually stayed at this hotel so many times that the lady at the front desk recognized me! The complimentary breakfast is consistent with what you get at most hotels and hotel staff are always on site in the breakfast area tidying up and replacing items as needed. Check out and check in always go smoothly.

« By far the worst Best Western I ever stayed in. Never again »

Manager attitude while attempting to settle an issued was less than favorable. He does not measure up to expectations I have with the BW chain. The BW has a customer service reputation that is above other chain motels. This should be kept in mind and customers satisfaction should be held above all.

    « Average Hotel »

The room was a decent size with your basic breakfast which was also decent. Check in/check out was easy and pleasant however the lobby smelled strongly of chlorine which is a bad sign for a pool. We arrived late in the evening and left early morning so it was just an overnight stay to split up our 14 hour drive. With that being said the hotel did us just fine. The rate was okay but a little over priced for this hotel I believe however we had a gift card so it made it okay. I'd stay here again for a quick one night trip as it was okay but if you are expecting luxury, you may want to look elsewhere.

    « Enjoyed the stay »

It was very clean and comfortable. Felt safe and welcomed. There are a few other hotels near this area, but the price is what got me. I nice pool and hot tub. It is relatively small, but my Son and I were the only ones there, so it didn't really matter. We felt like the staff cared and the people that stayed here were also friendly. There is a gas station right next to it, a Mexican restaurant, a Pizza Hut, and Papa John's delivers there (and offers specials). The only thing I thought could be better was the food quality. The eggs were ok. So it just depends what you are looking for. If you don't want to break the bank, then this is a good quality hotel and you should go here.

    « Fabulous »

A very clean and quiet hotel. Better than most. Our front desk girl, Jennifer, was very friendly and helpful. Places to visit within walking distance of the hotel. Added bonus having the fitness room to use because of bad weather outside.

    « Best Western Suites »

Friendly staff , extra large clean room Nice indoor pool but it's extremely hot in there to enjoy . Several Restaurants conveniently next to hotel. Only complaint is wi-fi is not good even if it's free . Would have gave 5 stars but not having working wifi was a big disappointment. Breakfast was just ok Not well supplied

« Home away from home... »

The staff at this Best Western Knoxville Suites anticipates our every need. I always book with them when visiting family in Knoxville. Once while a guest my older brother was in critical condition in an area hospital. The staff knew this and took personal interest in his condition. I'll always remember their care and kindness.

    « Fine for a Quick Stay »

We were just passing through the area and needed a place to stay for the night before heading into Smokey Mountain NP. Other areas are super expensive, such as Nashville and Pigeon Ford. Knoxville is a little more affordable which is appreciated. This hotel is a convenient place to stop off of the highway. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has an odd odor, somewhat resembling mold/mildew/musty. The hotel is a little older and some of the decor resembles this, like the carpet and bathrooms. Overall the value is great and it is comfortable enough for a quick stay. The breakfast is decent for what you pay for.

« Great place to stay! »

This is a nice hotel, conveniently located by many restaurants and stores. The staff was great. They are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a great size. Plenty of room to move around. They also have a very nice hot breakfast every morning.

« Stay away!! Filthy & smelly room »

Stopped for a night on our way home from Florida. We stayed in a Hampton Inn the night before, so thought we'd try this Best Western for something different and for a different breakfast. The lobby looks nice. Remodeled. I got the key and then got the family and luggage. Upon entering the room we noticed a definite odor. It was a perfumy smell - as if they were trying to cover something up. This immediately made us check under the mattress and covers for signs of bugs - that's pretty bad when you're doing that. The worst part though, was the sofa. See the pictures! It was DISGUSTING!!! There was no way I was going to let my son sleep on that thing. We ended up leaving and went to another hotel. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave us our money back.

    « Loved this hotel! »

Loved this hotel!!! Everything was great! We spent 5 nights here with other families from our club for the USTA Tumbling and Trampoline Nationals. The group rate was wonderful and the suites were awesome! Loved having the extra room, as there were 4 adults in our room, including my adult daughter who was competing. Location was great, as there were several restaurants, a grocery store, and a liquor store all within close walking distance, plus it was less than 10 minutes from downtown Knoxville, with easy access to the interstates. Everything was clean and pleasant. No complaints at all! I'm hard pressed to find any inconveniences, other than only 3 washrags daily in the room, so needed to get additional from the front desk, who were always pleasant about it. Breakfast was good - open until 10:00 and well attended and replenished. Only complaint was one day the scrambled eggs were actually scrambled egg whites. In-room internet was good, although did have to call the front desk a couple nights late to reset the router. We used the hot tub one evening, and others' kids seemed to enjoy the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one!

« Best Western Knoxville TN »

It is a very nice stay. Staff is friendly and helpful and tried to help if there was a problem. Room is a great size. It has a good location with food store and eateries close by. We have stayed here before and would recommend it to anyone.

    « Maybe a bit above average »

You can tell they've tried with renovations to an older hotel. Granite sinktops, interesting colors, cute light fixtures. However not much can override the overall mildew/musty odor. Our closet was so smelly we went to the front desk and were given an odor spray - which only masked it. The girl at the front desk was very accomodating, in fact all the staff was. She gave us discount coupons for Puleo's Cafe and even offered to give us a different room

« Nice hotel, disappointing breakfast »

The hotel room itself was lovely, we had a king room (not a suite) and it came with a very small sitting area. The breakfast provided was your standard hotel continental, but the breakfast room was very small and it was a pain to access everything. There are only about 4 tables in the breakfast area, so you may end up having to take it back to your room if they're full.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

We stayed overnight after visiting the zoo on our way back home. The hotel is older as you can tell from the outside and common areas inside. The room has been updated & was clean. The double queen we stayed in had a sink in the bathroom & outside of the bathroom so we weren't on top of each other getting ready. The room was also very spacious for a hotel. Our room smelled as someone had smoked in it despite it being a smoke free hotel. The pool is small but very clean and we enjoyed it & the hot tub. There are many restaurants near by that you can walk too. I chose this hotel as TripAdvisor had it 5 miles from the zoo but it was 10 miles but I should have double checked that myself.

« Quiet, spacious rooms; overall sufficient, but unimpressive »

We stayed here when the hotel was 100 percent booked for a local event (which we were attending). I was impressed that I did not hear any noise coming from the hallway or from the room above us. Granted, the A/C unit in our room had a fairly loud hum, so perhaps that helped to mask any noise. The king bed was comfortable and the sofa bed in the sitting area was acceptable. We selected this hotel primarily because of its "suite" layout. We were able to fit a family of four in our room -- adults sharing the king, one kid on the sofa bed, and one kid on an inflatable air mattress (brought with us -- not provided by hotel). The spaciousness of the room was probably the single area where this hotel completely satisfied me. Our refrigerator didn't work properly and all our water bottles got frozen solid. Staff member brought us some new bottles of water immediately and offered to repair the fridge the following day, but we were near the end of our three-night stay, so it was unimportant to us. The point is, the staff was responsive to our needs. The pool is quite small -- just big enough to take a dip in, not really meant for "swimming" as such. But clean and inviting. Breakfast was tolerable. We saw the same hot and cold selections every morning. The day that we went a bit later to breakfast I regretted eating the scrambled eggs, which had gotten rubbery over time. Other than that, the usual fare, with cold cereals, breads, pastries, DIY waffles. There is no lobby to speak of, merely a sofa and a couple of chairs situated right across from the front desk, plus an aquarium. If you wanted to have someone meet up with you here to visit, there's really no place for that. The neighborhood is a commercial area, not aesthetically pleasing, but quiet and seemingly safe. Check in and check out were easy and prompt, and overall the staff were friendly and helpful. Finally, I was disappointed that the hotel was not following "green" environmentally conscious practices, like not replacing towels that were hung up. When housekeeping came after our first night, they even threw away the bars of soap we had opened and replaced them with brand new bars of soap. So wasteful. In summary, I found this Best Western to be an adequate destination for our family, but certainly not an impressive property that I would look to return to.

« More than adequate but not worth the price! »

The bed was very comfortable and room has a microwave and mini fridge. But the flooring was not very clean and all I got was one sm bottle of shampoo. No bottle water. I asked for conditioner and no problem they provided but I had to get it. The room is outdated and the price was too high so thats why I rated as a 3. Maybe because this was memorial day weekend, I was there on the Friday night on route to Ontario. There is a carwash, liquor/wine store, shopping and restaurants at this exist on I-75 so that was convenient.

« Wish all my stays were this great! »

This hotel is great! Stayed here on a trip to Charleston, SC. The rooms were very clean and spacious. They have a vanity inside and outside the bathroom, which is always nice. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast had a huge variety.

    « Great motel »

Had a great time at this motel, very clean. The indoor pool and hot tub was very clean!! Not crowded! Rates were good. The free breakfast had many options to chose from. Many restaurants and shops close by.

    « Nice stay :) »

We stayed while on the way to Myrtle Beach. Beds were comfortable, hide-a bed was average. It was nice to have a room that sleeps six. The room was clean and the a/c worked well. The indoor pool and hot tub are small, but as we were the only ones using them it was fine. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, waffles etc. Coffee was surprisingly good for a hotel. Will stay here again when passing through.

« It is what it is »

The accommodations where sufficient for my need. The room was very large, comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant. I found the experience of having breakfast in the small breakfast room to be difficult. There were not enough chairs and tables, and the distribution of the mediocre food made it difficult for people to get what they needed. They could definitely work on making the breakfast experience more pleasant.

    « Large clean rooms »

Our room had two queen beds plus a sitting area with a small couch and coffee table. In room coffee and refrigerator. Rooms and carpet in the halls appears to have been updated not tool long ago. Shower curtain was tearing and in need of replacement. Friendly staff. The staff recommended that we park our motorcycles under the front entry cover, which was a very nice gesture and appreciated. Complete complementary breakfast bar, but no meat (sausage or bacon was available). Convenient to nearby restaurants. Our room, and neighboring rooms were non-smoking. Don't know if the whole hotel was non-smoking.

    « Worth the price »

The room was very clean, and much larger than we expected. The staff that we encountered were all friendly. The breakfast was very good and we got plenty to eat. Would definitely come back here if we were staying in the area again. The only small complaints would be the water pressure in the shower was not great, and the pool was a little bit cold.

    « couple over 50 yrs »

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. They went out of their was to help us. We had difficulty finding the location and they were very helpful and stayed with us on the phone until we arrived at the location. Our room was excellent. Clean & a great bed,

« Great Night, no problems »

From Check In to Checking Out was great... Room was clean and one of the best we've been in. Friendly helpful staff... The full Breakfast was good & hot. Motorcycle friendly parking was a plus due to inclement weather in the area.

« Nice room but noisy »

Our room ended up being right above the main entrance to the hotel (our view was the over hang over the entrance). We were just passing through and needed a place to sleep. The room was large, clean, comfy, and reasonable price. The only issue was the noise of people slamming their car doors all night out side the entrance. Needless to say, we didn't get much rest. Any other room probably would have been perfect though.

« Quick trip to Knoxville »

We had to make a quick trip to visit cousins from Alabama and Found this hotel close to everything we needed. would consider staying here again. close to shopping and eating without a lot of traffic. Hotel easy from interstate

« Great location, staff, and rooms. But, very firm beds »

Like another reviewer pointed out, the outside made me nervous when I pulled in. A little tired looking. But once inside, it was all good. The front desk gal was super helpful and funny. Pointed out places to eat in the area. The room was wonderful. Booked via Priceline bidding and didn't know what to expect and was beyond pleased....But....the bed was like a rock. I ended up sleeping on the couch by 2am. My poor mom was in tears the next day during our drive because her back hurt so bad. Mind you, we are not firm bed sleepers. For those who are, I am sure they would find the beds fine. But, they were very uncomfortable for us. Breakfast is simple. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, cereal, juice, etc. If it wasn't for the beds, I would stay here again.

    « Pet friendly »

Happy that your hotel was pet friendly, but it would have been nicer if a first floor room was available. Easier access to outside. Bringing the dog down on the elevator was awkward and inconvenient . Handling the dog and luggage, as well as purse was difficult.

    « Knoxville Best Western »

Outside looks like a rough area but it wasn't a problem at all. Hotel clean and the employee's were very good to work with. Breakfast is a little above cold cereal and sweets, has 1 waffle machine with 2 choices, strawberry or original. Each day hot food with biscuits/sausage/eggs next day gravy/biscuit.

    « Impressed!!!!! »

We haven't been there for some time and was impressed with the overall stay here. The cleanliness of the hotel was spot on. The decor for the lobby and the huge rooms was really nice. We will be staying here again our next time through Knoxville.

    « Great price »

We were very happy with our stay at Best Western of Knoxville. Great place for our family to stay comfortably (family size of 5) and also had a pool for the kids. Clean pool and was never busy. ALso, a hot tub (a plus for me). Front desk staff were super friendly and kind to the kids.

« Bring your own food for breakfast »

Breakfast experience awful; overcrowded, not enough tables to accommodate everyone, eggs inedible (when you finally got some...); left hotel hungry because we finally just gave up trying to get something suitable to eat. Room was nice though.

    « Positive Experience »

Comfortable bed. Large room & quiet. Enjoyed my stay and will make reservations for this Hotel again when in the Knoxville area in the future. A great Hotel and very friendly staff. Close to the highway for easy on & off. Excellent selection of restaurants nearby.

    « Hotel Stay 032916 »

The room was very clean and huge. I arrived late and left early so I didn't have the continental breakfast. My past experience with Best Western breakfast bar has been great and a variety of food to pick from. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend any Best Western Hotel. Always courteous and pleasant each time we stay.

    « Pretty good stay »

The rooms were big and the beds were clean and comfy. The TV was big and clear. Breakfast was average, the staff was nice and helpful.. It was a good location, right off the highway. Overall good stay, If traveling through again I would stay here.

    « Easy Stop »

North/South trip four or five time a year, just a perfect location for travel on I-75, easy on/ off, but more importantly Clean, good service and your out the door and on the road again The small indoor pool is great for the kids and hot tub allowed us to keep eye on them, just works well

« Very pleasent stay Great Staff !!! »

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling through Tennessee. The staff was great ! The room was very clean. I was completely satisfied with the room. The hotel its self was very well maintained inside and out. The breakfast was good a lot of selections fresh fruit. I will definitely stay at this hotel again !!!

    « OK for a short stay »

I've stayed at this Best Western many times because it is located close to a family member's home. The place is clean and people are friendly. The rooms are spacious and a good value. The clientele are typically people on the way somewhere versus a final destination (i.e. road crews, families in en route another location, or prisoner transport (no kidding - seen this twice)). The place has an indoor pool and hot tub and a very modest exercise room. The smell of chlorine dominates the pool area and lobby. It this very intense and often uncomfortable. The breakfast checks the box but is nothing special. The hotel is a good economical choice as a stop over point on a long journey but would not recommend if your stay is longer than a weekend.

    « Comfy »

We were traveling from Florida home to Michigan, had to take two days to do this. Halfway mark was Knoxville,TN, so we made reservations in advance since it was the Easter weekend. We had no problems when we arrived it was late in the evening. The clerk at the front desk was very nice held the door open for us, checked us in and gave us our room key. Very nice room, clean well stocked.

    « personal »

As stated the hotel and the staff made my staff most enjoyable, The cleaniless, the service, amenties, and overall condition met all of my expectations., the location, the satff willingness and professionalism, acconodation was an enhancement to to the quailty of my trip and stay.

    « Clean and roomy »

Stayed at this hotel while attending a volleyball tournament at the Knoxville Convention Center. It was a very convenient location for us. We wasn't in the downtown traffic and the route from the hotel to the Convention Center was basically a straight shot. We had a double room that had a small sitting area with a fold out couch. The extra vanity and sink outside of the bathroom was a plus for us since we had several girls getting ready at the same time. There is a continental breakfast each morning. One morning there was biscuits/gravy, etc. The next morning French toast, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

    « Very spacious room »

We had a king sized bed and a very large room with a comfy sitting area with a couch. There is an extra sink outside the bathroom. The room is very clean and very spacious. Great value and the check in was super fast. A basic complimentary breakfast is offered.

    « Huge room! »

Location was good for Knoxville, I think. There weren't very many options close to downtown so I think this was the closest we could get without paying an arm and a leg. Got a great deal online for one night. Pets are allowed - huge plus for us. Although, online it doesn't mention a fee for the pets and when I called to ask if they allowed pets they didn't mention the fee. When we arrived I told the girl we had dogs and she said we weren't booked for a pet room. I guess that's the trouble with booking online. Fortunately, she was able to fix it for us. Pet fee is 15 bucks a night, compared to $50 for the Holiday Inn next door. The hotel is going through some renovations; we saw some workers on the first floor tiling the bathrooms. Our room was finished though. It was huge! A seating area separated by a half wall and then the bed area. Large TV, fridge and microwave. Bathroom was clean with updates. The room had an extra vanity and sink which I didn't really understand since the bathroom was big with it's own sink and counter. The room and rest of the hotel was clean. It's an older building but I think they're doing a good job at remodeling it. One elevator that's super slow. We had a hot breakfast that was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, and French toast. Waffle maker and all the regular stuff, too. Lots of other hotels and restaurants in the area. The girl that checked us in was the only staff we interacted with and she was wonderful.

« Wonderful Place to Stay with Fabulous Staff & Great Breakfast »

Have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the last 4 months while in Knoxville on business. Stayed at 2-other hotels the 1st week and have not stayed at any other hotel since our first time here in November 2015. The staff is a helpful 'Family', the manager a delightful and sweet man, Lisa makes sure everything is clean and perfect and she is such a sweetheart. Betty at the Front Desk is not only beautiful to look at, but, also to speak with daily. Jennifer, the fabulous front desk person, greeted me with such caring and helpfulness the 1st night here months ago, that I knew we were in the right place!! LOVE the breakfast !! Most places have the same thing every day, well.. not here, the hot food choices change daily and are always wonderful and fresh!! This is absolutely the place I recommend to stay in Knoxville !

    « Nice stay »

When we first pulled into the parking lot, the building doesn't look the greatest. Along with the lobby and 1 elevator I thought great.. Our room isn't going to be nice. Staff was friendly while booking over the phone and greeted with same friendliness as we arrived. We booked the king suite for one night as this was our mid-way point driving from Florida to Michigan. Kind of nervous, we open the door to our suite and we were more then pleased!! Room was absolutely beautiful. Updated, spacious and very clean. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. TV was flatscreen and huge! Room also had a little vanity type space with hairdryer and sink and mirror for me to get ready while my boyfriend was in the bathroom, such a great idea to have. Absolutely enjoyed our stay, just wish the outside and lobby area was up to par like the room!

    « love this hotel »

Loved this hotel. Very nice rooms. Very spacious. Bed comfortable. Lots of variety in the breakfast. Will return in 2wks. Great location. Many restaurants within walking distance. Right off of 75. Service was great

« Very nice place to stay. »

The staff at the Best Western in Knoxville, Pratt Road were fantastic. We had a fast and efficient check in. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast we had the next morning was tasty and there was plenty to be had.

    « Better Than Expected »

I was moving to another state and needed to break the trip up. I had pets with me so I did some research online. I wanted a place easy to find off the interstate, close to restaurants and one that felt safe. I found it all with this one. Being alone and lugging pet carriers around, as well as one's overnight items, isn't fun. So, I had requested a first floor room (called the hotel directly). Not only did I get it, but I got one right next to the side door (Rm 101). Made it incredibly easy getting every thing/one in and out. When I walked in, they had the heat going strong. So much so, I had to turn it down and kept it down throughout the night. When I walked in, the bathroom was to the left, closet space to the right. A little more in and a sink/mirror to the right, sitting area (sofa/table) to the left and then the king bed straight ahead. A very LARGE tv (especially for a hotel one would consider as "budget"), dorm size fridge and a working microwave. I had ordered ahead of time and picked up my dinner at Cracker Barrel (literally, 2 min away). The fridge did a good job of keeping things cold and microwave worked well at warming up what had cooled off while getting settled. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I couldn't have asked for any thing more. The room appeared clean and there was no smell of any former pet being in the room (this is a smoke free hotel which was another HUGE draw for me). Next morning, I went for the hot breakfast. This is the one part I found lacking. I have had hot breakfasts' at other hotels before and so maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been. The eggs were patties. At least they were cooked (not runny...ick!), but they just didn't taste very good. Nor did the sausage. I ended up throwing it out and going back for cereal. But, this is a personal preference/taste and it wouldn't keep me from staying here again, if the need arose. The late afternoon desk person was friendlier than the morning one. The morning one seemed a bit put out, but it was early and maybe her morning started off bad or she just got done dealing with a difficult guest. Having worked customer service, I can understand it's hard to shake that off right away. Again, wouldn't let this stop my stay. When I left that morning, I was on the same side of the road as the interstate so it couldn't have been any easier getting back on it even on a cold, icy morning. I can't speak to how this hotel would be for a week, but for one night, it was more than adequate and reasonably priced.

« Pool water is NOT heated/Hot Tub Gross »

They claim to have an indoor heated pool but the water is not actually heated, only the room the pool is in is heated. The hot tub was really gross. The water had tons of stuff floating in it. The pool and hot tub are also very small. Swimming was the main focus of our stay. We actually checked out a day early to go to another hotel to use their pool. Everything else was nice. The room was clean and the food was good.

    « Perfectly okay »

A good clean adequate hotel. Location lacks curb appeal, but, our dog could come with us. That's a big plus. Lots of decent restaurants in immediate area. We reserved here because of the indoor pool, however, it was much to cold to go in. Very disappointed in that.

    « Very clean »

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable with pillow top mattresses. Very nice stay. The breakfast was great and we will stay again on our next trip to Florida. We were very happy with everything.

    « Quiet stay »

I had a quiet stay and a comfortable stay and was able to awake refreshed. What more can you ask from a hotel stay? I would stay at this hotel again and would have no problem advising others to consider this hotel. The breakfast wasn't wonderful but the coffee was good and hotel staff all had smiles on their faces.

« Good place to relax »

This hotel offers great suites in which you can feel very much at home & relax. We were greeted by warm & friendly staff at arrival which was much appreciated by my wife & myself. The breakfast was nicely laid out & the food was excellent. Our overall stay was better than expected.

    « Comfortable and Clean »

Needed a place to stay on our way home from a vacation. This place was clean, comfortable and had lots of amenities. The reason it was chosen was because it was dog friendly and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. The staff was also very helpful.

    « Great Value / Convenience »

Excellent visit. Staff was trained, personable, and expedient. Breakfast was very good. Accolades to the lady who took care of the breakfast area. Need more luggage / baggage handling carts. Unfortunately, due to the location of the hotel, the drive up appeal is very hampered. Could hardly see the front due to utility trucks stored in front of the hotel.

    « LOVE THIS HOTEL !! »

We travel for business and this has been absolutely the BEST HOTEL we have ever stayed in. The Owner and the Staff are the nicest I have ever experienced. Hotel is clean and comfy. Breakfast is awesome and different each day!! If you are in Knoxville, it is the place to stay!! Thank you to everyone there for making our stay wonderful !!

Easy to locate and access from Interstates. Plenty of parking. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Large rooms. Quiet, no traffic noise. Nice hot breakfast from 6 to 10 am. Friendly Staff.

    « A good night's sleep »

We stayed for two nights. Had a suite. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was accommodating and pleasant. Only complaint was no laundry detergent in the dispenser but the front desk person gave me some to use at no cost.

« Good pick for the night, can use some better cleaning »

Room was decent value for overnight stay. Seemed nicely decorated, but with signs of wear and tear. The sofa in the King suite was filthy and stained. Went to pull out the extra blanket to cover the sofa, and there was hole in the blanket. Side of sink outside of room was splattered with something red; didn't feel like it had been cleaned thoroughly. The bottom of the tub was exceptionally slippery...dangerous for anyone, especially if unsteady on their feet! But, decent breakfast and good for pets, too. We'd stay there again, maybe not in a suite with a couch, but was a good choice, overall. The staff on check-in was cordial at best; but the breakfast crew was very nice and helpful.

« Horrible staff. Filthy hotel. »

I have never left a negative review of a hotel, but I could not ignore the terrible way my family was treated by the staff. Every employee my family met acted absolutely miserable, and they were unforgivably rude to my children. My hotel room was not cleaned for two days. I never placed the Do Not Disturb sign up and even requested a visit from housecleaning. I had to visit the front desk to get my own replacement linens and soap. Ten minutes after breakfast ended, I asked an employee cleaning the dining area if I could still get a small cup of juice for my three-year-old daughter, she told me "no, breakfast is over." Really? Wow, Best Western. You really have no idea your in the hospitality industry, do you?

    « nice hotel »

Was on a business trip and was easy on and off the express way. I had some best western certificates from a my last trip The staff was nice and the hotel was clean and food was good. Would stay if back in area

    « Knoxville, Tn »

Very nice room. Had a sink in the entry as well as in the bathroom. We had a king suite room and it had a sofa, coffee table, desk and chair, as well as a tv, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot. We stay here every year, either going to Florida or coming home.

    « Nice room »

The room is nice and spacious. We were traveling with our toddler and there was plenty of space to set up our pack and play crib. Even with the crib set up, there was plenty of space to move around. Break fast was decent.

    « Great Value = Great Stay! »

Was pleasantly surprised to walk into a comfortable, quiet suite upon arrival, w/ plenty of room and a good TV. Breakfast was ample and appetizing and kept me going all day. Free shuttle to UT football game was a nice, eco-friendly service.

« Hotel quality has slipped »

We have stayed at this hotel before and never had any issues, but this time the breakfast was poor quality and the beds were in serious need of replacement. Squeaky springs made for restless nights. Ice makers are in desperate need of replacement as well. You'll wait at least 5 minutes in order to get a decent cup of ice before it melts.

    « business »

Excellent Value!! Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice Breakfast. Having Ingles within walking distance and a church next door as well as proximity to expo center made the hotel a wonderful choice. Having a pool and workout room in the hotel was an added bonus.

    « Pet Friendly Room »

Appreciate that the Knoxville Location is Pet Friendly, however an odor in the room that other hotels do not have. I would recommend the hotel for the service. Breakfast items were good and good presentation. Staff were helpful.

« Nice looking, if only they cleaned it and maintained it.. »

Pros: The rooms were nicely appointed and quiet. The TV was large and reception was excellent. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and functional. The beds were traditional inner spring mattress beds, slightly squeaky but comfortable. Cons: The AC unit squealed when it powered on, waking us throughout the night. The sink did not drain well, making even hand washing difficult. The shower was full of mold. It was an insert made up of 4 sections and where the joints were is where the black mold was. The room was a non-smoking room, but it smelled heavily of stale cigarette smoke.

    « Very nice! »

Everything about this hotel is excellent! Very nice rooms, facilities and the staff was friendly & helpful! I would stay here again for sure! Downtown Knoxville is a short drive away and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from near the hotel.

    « Great! »

We've stayed in several BW's for the last two weeks, this room was the nicest: two queens and a sofa sleeper. Clean! We stayed one night. Indoor pool with late hours. Breakfast was fine. Laundry was affordable and sufficient drying time! Friendly staff and great family experience!

    « What a gem »

Enroute from Myrtle Beach to Michigan we found this to be an excelent choice. Great Mexican restaurant across the street.Recently remolded and the 2 sinks in our room was an unexpected perk. Will stay here again if traveling this way.

    « Anniversary Getaway »

I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is in a great location to to go Knoxville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or other surrounding areas. Our room was wonderful. It was nicely updated and very clean. Our sheets smelled like they were freshly washed and did not have stains. I did check the room for bedbugs (I had an issue with bedbugs at a different hotel before) and there was no sign of any. The hallway outside our room was also nicely updated with new carpet and paint. The hotel was very clean. The lobby was updated and had an aquarium. There is an indoor pool and hot tub that looked great but we did not have a chance to use them. There was a hot breakfast each morning: eggs, sausage, pancakes, a waffle maker, cereal, assorted breads/pastries, fresh fruit, juices, milk, coffee/tea, and extras. Overall this was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

    « Excellent BestWestern »

Stayed 2 nights in King Mini-Suite. Very clean room, comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast was above average. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended, would stay again. And blah, blah ,blah for 200 words.A stupid rule-I thought were past this childish rule.

    « Anniversary trip »

The staff was very friendly and courteous, everything was clean, and quiet, and it is a convenient location, just off of the interstate. There is an Ingles grocery store, right next door, a gas station, and several restaurants. Our room was very nice, and modern. We Would stay here again!

    « Gameday Stay »

Stayed here for an evening before a gameday. Check-in was easy and the room was plenty large for three guys including two queen beds and a sofa bed. The bathroom had the expected amenities. The hotel offered a complementary hot breakfast in the morning with plenty of food and beverage options. The location has plenty of stores and food options in the immediate area, but is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Knoxville and another 5 minutes to UT. Overall, it was a good gameday option.

« Convenient location, highly accessible, good value »

My husband and I stayed here on the way from Florida to Ohio. Our trip was complicated by the fact that I had a broken leg in a temporary splint and needed to change our reservation to an accessible room. We were able to do so easily. The room was clean and well arranged for someone in a wheelchair. The tub was easy to use with a chair. Free hot breakfast in the morning was excellent, with plenty of helpful attendants and table space. Would certainly stay here again.

« Resting our weary bones »

What a room. Everything was so great. Made our travel so much better, knowing that we could stay at a place that the rooms define comfortable. We rested our weary bones and was able to get up refreshed and with a filling breakfast we were on our way. Will always stay here when we are in the area. Staff was so nice and helpful

    « Dont bother »

My 2-year-old found a pill by the toilet and I was simply told "Oh, sorry"! After his shower, his feet were black from the floor. If you like cleanliness and safety, go elsewhere. It is in a great location, but just isn't worth it

    « A modest hotel at a moderate price »

Staying at a Best Western has become something of a dodgy affair, especially if it is one of their older properties. This property is one of their older facilities and you could sense this in the public spaces and the guest rooms. There was nothing of great concern that stood out in that this property deserves to avoided, but there are no real highlights to point out either. It is a good place to sleep for the short term stay. Families will find everything they need, but small rooms and simple bedding. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, but did provide an assortment of options.

« Great Choice if You are Attending a University of Tennessee Football Game! »

My husband and I selected this property because we were in town to attend a football game at the University of Tennessee stadium. The hotel was freeway accessible and easy to find. We arrived before check-in time but the desk clerk was friendly and we were given the key to the room shortly thereafter. Instead of having the hassle of driving to the game, a school bus stopped at the hotel and provided the transportation to and from the game. At only $20 per person, the cost was reasonable and it was fun to ride in a school bus again. The room was a fair size and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast the next morning was more than adequate and it was nice to meet some other friendly guests. The free parking was appreciated. The overall value was excellent.

    « Referrable »

This hotel is definitely a great place to stay. Rooms are very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I have been staying in this hotel the second time now and again, was not disappointed at any time during my stay. The price vs. quality is above average compared to other hotels in the area and within this category. I will continue to book my rooms there!
