SureStay by Best Western Jacksonville South

Adequate. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but ok if you're into carbs. The "hot" part consisted of waffles ot toast or warmed up bagel, mini muffin or possible mini Danish. They are open from 6 to 9 am and on our last day we expected to be able to have a hearty breakfast to travel on. ... Nope, no eggs or sausage. Although we did arrive at 8, the pan was clean and looked as though it had been that way all morning. Also, although they have handicap rooms, they are never available. The gentleman at the front desk indicated they are booked year round. The bathrooms are very small. I really hope Best Western considers having more hotels in the Mayo Clinic area of Jacksonville.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any type of business they refuse to let my children into the room while I was at work when they left their key in the room so they were sitting outside in the heat with their food until I was able to get off work and come there to get the key and unlock the door. Night I moved in there was roaches in the rooms and piss stains around the toilet seat they don't care and I honestly don't think they like anyone who's not from their culture they're very disrespectful very rude an extremely lacking in empathy for anyone.

good clean hotel for quick overnight stay for a concert in downtown Jacksonville. Although the hotel was in an unattractive part of town & the hotel a little dated, the bed was very comfortable, the room clean,easy check in, typical good best western breakfast. overall just what we needed.

The SureStay by Best Western Jacksonville South is in bad disrepair condition with leaking bathtub, loose corroded pipes, patches around the toilet, old furniture. The desktop computer on the lobby is only for decoration, not available for guests. The sign on the front desk has a telephone number to call for service if nobody is available, but when I called nobody answered and a voice says that this number doesn't accept messages. The hotel advertises full breakfast, but during my one week stay only on one day there were scrambled eggs available. For the rest of my stay there were only muffins, bagels, yogurt, two choices of serial, but on two occasions no milk was available and waffles. The only positive about this place was room service. The ladies were very friendly and were doing their best.

I know it is a “cheap” BestWestern. But for $95, I expected slightly MORE! Check-in was fine. Room? Much less so! Old worn out second hand furniture, cabinet handles rusty. Phone loading station not working. We could only close bathroom door with brute force. Damages to wall. Don't start me on the breakfast! Advertised HOT BREAKFAST! The only hot item was Waffles (if you made them yourself). No staff anywhere. Bacon/sausage and egg buffet tray empty. No fresh fruit, bowls empty. We suspected that creamer in Nestle bottles was not original product either. In future, I rather pay $20 more and stay at SpringHill Suites!

Just not up to the usual standards that I have come to expect from Best Western hotels. The advertised hot breakfast was not available for the entire 3 day length of my stay due to what I was told was an equipment malfunction. I, along with numerous other guests were not satisfied with this explanation due to the fact that hotel management did nothing to rectify the issue, nor offer any adjustment to the rate to compensate for the inconvenience. It did not seem that any management was available to speak with.

There was an actual turd, yes poop in the tub when I went to take a shower in the morning. The place was right next to an FedEx hub, so there loading all night long. Absolutely horrible. They still charged me. GROSS!!!!! I don't know what else to say. I think I gave you plenty of insight of my experience, without actually grossing you out with a picture.

Easy check in, room was clean. Toilet was malfunctioning but nothing major just ran all night so we closed the bathroom door. Only really disappointing fact was they advertise queen beds and even though that's what we booked they were only double beds.

We needed a place for an overnight on our way south and this looked like it would work. At check-in, the man was very matter of factly. Upon entering our room, we saw that this place need some major renovations that BW should look into to maintain a higher standard. The bathroom was in need of new fixtures as there was a major chip in the tub. While there were no electrical problems, a code enforcer could see that there was a need for concerns. The air/heating unit was missing a plate to tell how the controls operated. Outside, a tractor trailer was running most of the night. The next morning, the breakfast area was unserviced and there was no coffee or a refill of the items that one could eat. Quite a few of the guests went up the street, rather than partake of what was offered. We did sleep well on the bed and left the heater unit running for white noise.

Great Breakfast Bob is the best! He is very helpful and was extremely accommodating. He made the stay worth it and was extremely kind and compassionate. He helped with breakfast and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a low cost, older & worn hotel that is getting a face lift. We found room 104 to be very clean. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. Check in was quick. Staff is friendly. A.C. was great. Breakfast was average at best. Not sure why all the 'Great Breakfast' reviews because honestly who cares about that when you're looking for a decent clean & safe place to stay! The downside of our stay, this is a very busy street & area. Several gentlemans clubs nearby, and if you think you're going to sleep past 6:00 a.m. here on a Monday morning, forget it!!! Alongside this hotel is a tractor trailer repair shop who begin work at 6:00. And this particular morning between 7:30 & 8:00 we were kept awake by a staff member walking along our doors talking on his phone with speaker on. This seemed to continue for the better part of a half hour until we opened our door to shush him!! Who does this??? He apologized but we gave up on sleep at this point! So inconsiderate! Also, worth mentioning water pressure & shower head not great but that's not a deal breaker to me. At least it was a hot shower. To sum it up, it's not terrible. We won't return but that's because of the noise not the overall conditions.

Lovely staff, hot delicious full range breakfast, and clean rooms with no scent, fresh sheets. Lights and plumbing fixtures are wonky and a little shaky but you'll make it. I'd stay again but only if it's a last minute thing.

Blood on the walls, semen, or what appeared to be, on the headboard and bathroom wall, bodily fluid in a dried drip on the window, crusty urine collections at the base of the toilet. Warped metal on the door frame from pry bars, crack pipe burn marks on the furniture, melted plastic accessories, broken towel hooks, boot prints on the wall, dried mucous and bugs near the vanity. A toilet with a lid that didn't fit that howled when flushed. Staff was shocked when we refused to stay in the rooms and was later unwilling to hear or address concerns.

BOB was a great host. The breakfast was lovely and tasty. I love the waffles. The rooms are comfy and clean. The staff is welcoming and nice. Definitely recommend this hotel for families short term and long term! You will be very satisfied with your stay. The owner is very nice.

BOB is so lovely and the breakfast is really big and includes muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, coffee and waffle machine! BOB the breakfast attendant is very cheery, would definitely book this place again!

The breakfast was great and BOB only made it better! The breakfast area was spotless and the food was good. They had many options for beverages, waffles, muffins and more. My room was also really clean. I recommend staying here if you are in the area!

We got greeted by BOB and he was amazing and all the food was warm and fresh, very nice and cozy place, we were 12 in my group and we all ate very well and full, including my two kids that usually don't like anything! The area is very clean and well kept

My arrival at this property was early in the morning. If I had to estimate, then I would say that I got to this Surestay at approximately 1am. I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Jacksonville after a flight into Fort Lauderdale from the Dominican Republic. This accommodation served its purpose. It was a quiet and clean place to lay my head at night. These are the main things that I come to expect from a Surestay property. There were no issues that I can think of that need to be noted.

BOB was so very helpful to me as I walked in to the breakfast room 10 minutes before it closed. He was so help as I grabbed my breakfast before I got back on the road home to Miami. He showed me where all the breakfast was. The room was sparkling even with the fact that they were about to close

The motel was quiet and clean, my two top priorities. It was also nicely updated. However, several things need attention: the door to the refrigerator cabinet cannot be closed. The handle to the bathroom came off in my hand and I needed my husband's help to get out. He also had to help turn on the shower which is not strongly anchored as it should be. And the toilet kept running after flushing so a new chain/repair is needed. (I did report two of the most important items to the front desk). The breakfast was basic, but good enough. All in all, an OK place to stay but with some attention, could be better.

BOB made us feel comfortable and helped us with breakfast. It started our day out on the best track. We hope to visit soon and hopefully we are able to visit with BOB. The Hotel was nice and may needed a little uptake but all in all was a good visit.

Sure stay was a very clean motel with a good service. The housekeeper Bob was a very kind person and helpful with us, the breakfast was good as well. I loved the comfortable bed, neighbours were not noisy, I could sleep very well. I would spend my time here again, if I come to Jacksonville back someday

The hotel room was nice. Everything was clean. One of the lights worked only the 3rd time you tried. Also you could smell the chlorin in the whole room when the bathroom door wasn't closed. But for the prize it was totally okay! The breakfast was good an had a lot of different things you could eat. Bob the breakfast man was there and helped you with everything!! He was awesome. He made us waffles and they were good. He knew what he was doing. While we were eating, he kept the room and the counters clean and nice. Would totally come here again.

Horrible. 2nd floor room was decent, however once moved to the designated “pet room” on the 1st floor it was absolutely horrific. The only thing that makes these rooms “pet friendly” is the smell of ALL of the pets and their urine that has soaked into the floors. There was a crackpipe on the side of the fridge, which I was told “oh well, you have 5-10 mins to review the room and complain, not now.” By Shawn. Aside from Shawn, who was incredibly rude, the staff was friendly. Shawn however, made up the rules as he went. According to him, there would be a charge of $25 if a pet is allowed on the bed. When asked to see the policy, there is no mention of such. This place is filled with “ppl of the night”. Not a family environment at all. Oh and the complimentary hot breakfast consists of convenient store muffins and packaged breakfast wraps that you must personally microwave.

BOB is a amazing hospitality executive & I feel that he should be promoted to the manager position of the food department of the hotel. We have 2 little kids and he had gone out of his way which was very helpful for both our kids and also us. The cafeteria and breakfast was the best experience during our stay.

I can not complain. Clean rooms, and a exception friendly staff. From the moment we parked we encountered a extremely professional valley service. Ms. Carshena, Mr. Washington and Team went above and beyond to accommodate my staff and I. We will be returning next year.

Breakfast is well stocked. Staff is friendly. Next door is a business that repairs big se.i trucks and they are noisy and start working early. The room was cleaned and was satisfactory. It's a quick trip to just about anywhere in Jacksonville.

Noticed the front desk at checkin there were roaches in the room. There was also mold on the bathroom ceiling and the tv did not work. I paid nearly $400 for three nights. They fixed the television, but made me stay in the same room. I was working long hours and unable to move hotels.

Clean rooms, great value for the money. Older slightly dated decor but good deal. I was really impressed with the breakfast choices. Hot waffles, breakfast burritos, cereal, and the like. Easy access off the interstate. Parking lot is a little tight though.

BOB was amazing! He made our breakfast and was ver kind and happy. He made our stay much better. The hotel room smelled awesome and was clean. The hotel itself is more of a motel fyi. And please make sure you know it has no other amenities other that the awesome breakfast. If your doing an overnight stay like we did it is good however if you are making a long vacation it may not be suitable for you.

FILTHY! Food (or possibly feces) smeared on the wall and lampshade. Giant, think 2 feet by 2 feet, red stain on the carpet. No back on the toilet. Electric wires loose and frayed. Cigarette burns in the sheet. Peeling paint EVERYWHERE. This place is foul. We were boxed into staying here as we were travelling with a pet so we had no options. Not that I would have even given a seconds thought to eating food from this vile place, but they shouldn't have a sign in the lobby stating daily breakfast when there actually was none. Seriously, save your money and sleep in your car.

This motel is at best a very low Super 8. I can't believe Best Western approved this property. The room and service is very subpar. I would describe the staff as doing the minimal to get by. Paid way too much for this stay. Do not recommend.

BOB no was an amazing breakfast attendant so nice sure all was well kept and on point must have breakfast when coking here the Rod ware well kept but above all else customer service was great!!!….. Muy bien todo motel is good limpio y agradable

I will not stay at this location again. I woke up at 1am to find a roach on my face. There is a hole in the shower wall that goes through to the adjoining room. I booked this location because it was convenient to my work site.

The staff smokes while her kids run all over, bugs, room smelled horrible, kept my jewelry and wallet under the pillow, could sleep was terrified since there was billet hole in my window. I was in my way to Florida and this was late in the night so I had no choice to stay. This is a place you see on tv where prostitution and drug deals happen

Easy check-in and easy access to room. The friendly person at the front desk gave us directions to our room and pointed out the breakfast room with hours of service. The room was very clean, had plenty of towels and didn't have any funny smells. I was very impressed with the selection of items for breakfast, especially with the low cost of the room. I would stay here again.

The carpet was dirty, the front door didn't seal , the ac was extremely loud and barely cooled the tiny room, it was loud all night, black out curtains had holes and still let in a ton of light, tub was too gross to use and the cleaning crew decided to sweep the walk way at 8 am? This room should have been $70 not $170

I'm VERY pleased w/my stay at Sure Stay Hotel by Best Western in Jax, FL off University Blvd. My room was pre cooled, it smelled clean before walking in, price was decent & Mr. Patel was VERY polite! I will be staying again in the future!!

The place was very clean breakfast had a lot of choices one of the best SureStay Hotels I have stay at they were doing renovation and you can see the improvement. They need to have real pillows they were using throw pillows as bed pillows made for an uncomfortable sleep

It is an older hotel, but is directly off I-95. Price was reasonable. Breakfast is just packaged burritos and muffins and packaged cereal. Coffee was not good. No where to sit. Nice spacious area for a breakfast area

This is a Motel not a Hotel there are ZERO amenities. There is a maintenance shop right next door and all the restaurants have closed up. There is absolutely nothing to do in that area. Breakfast at the Motel was a joke.

Clean room and very kind staff. It is an older hotel that they remodeled. The room was nice and clean. The only issue I had with my room is it would've been nice to have hooks to hang stuff in the bathroom. Also, extremely humid and everything was damp. A dehumidifier in the room would be great. Breakfast is from 6 AM to 9 AM in the breakfast room but they don't have any chairs set up. Would be nice if they got back to normal and let people sit down to eat. All the staff are very kind and helpful.

Horrible customer service, Lobby not accessible even though in a non mask state, No breakfast offered even though promised. Paint peeling off the walls, toilet leaking all over the floor, doorknob falling off the door, no hot water in the shower. When reported, the desk person didn't care. Booked for 8 nights and left after the first night and went to another hotel. The pictures online are not even close to what you actually get. In a very sketchy area of town, a man slept in his car outside our room all night.

There is nothing special about this place. It looks like it was recently remodeled. The rooms are very plane. The lobby was locked. Only access to the clerk was through an outside window. The first room I was in had an odor to it. Also, the sewage backed up in the bathtub overnight. The next morning I requested another room and advised them of the bathtub situation they responded with "Oh, that problem has been fixed". I still got another room, this time on the second floor. It was much like the first room, nothing special;. This one did not have an odor. The rest of my stay was uneventful. The housekeeping staff did a very good job. The grounds were also well maintained.

A very good value if you are looking for a place to lay your head and get some rest during your trip. A nice place to hide and get that rest. Everything you could expect for the price you pay. Good job!

I'm currently staying here at the University Blvd location. I was/am the victim of a house fire and needed somewhere to stay. This location is close to my house and so convenient. I was skeptical about the area and location. But having been here for several days and nights, I made a great choice. The staff is pleasant, very courteous and professional. I'm a senior citizen and really have nothing negative to say about my experience. I feel this hotel has gotten a bad reputation from the negative reviews. Don't go by them. Experience for yourself.

Location was terrible. We booked site unseen, our fault. We will not go back. For the price we expected a lot more. For $87 it definitely was not worth it, not even for one night stay. Stains on sheet that had been washed but should have disposed of.

I should've looked at what was in the area before booking. Across the street screams ‘Murica. Liquor store, strip club, gun store, & a Sonny's BBQ. There were a few things in the room that were questionable like burns on one of the room lamps, grimy shower head, stains on curtains, etc. One thing I will give compliments to is the comfort of the beds despite the weird throw pillows in substitute for regular sized pillows. Overall, the room was okay for the short stay & price.

This place shouldn't even be called a hotel its more like a dirty motel. My family & I reserved here last minute a total of 5 rooms. We requested rooms on same floor & close to each other but was not granted. The bathrooms smell like marijuana the bathrooms looks like they're falling apart, thankfully I brought my own towel because out of the hand towels & shower towels NOT 1 was clean. The towels were all stained & dirty as if never washed. Shower curtain is nasty didn't even want to shower. Stains were found on the bed sheets & comforter. In two of our 5 rooms the door is stuck because the frame looks like its been tampered with. There's mold on ceiling & in bathroom. Felt disgusted walking on carpet without shoes. No breakfast although it says included (not that I would even eat it from a place like this but its false advertising). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CHEAP & DIRTY MOTEL TO ANYONE. Its a shame I spent money on 5 rooms. READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY. The ones that say good things are either bought reviews or people who don't mind staying in a filthy place. The pictures are EXTREMELY DECEIVING. I rather sleep in my car before staying here again!!!

The website noted modified breakfast. No breakfast was provided, not even any coffee. The room had a musty odor. No ventilation in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was falling away from the wall. Mold in the bathroom on the walls and paint peeling in areas.

Great stay, affordable, friendly staff, mostly quiet area. No complaints I would recommend staying here if you're looking for something affordable for a night or maybe for a weekend. I didn't have any issues or anything that would make me not want to stay again!

People loudly banging and screaming outside all night. Sirens non stop. Cleaning lady banging on my door while I'm sleeping non stop. Legit banging I thought fbi was coming. Never again will I stay in this hotel or anywhere near it. Your front desk people are scumbags

The time I had to travel for business was around the Super Bowl so booking the place we normally do wasn't an option... insert SureStay. My commute to the office each of the 33 days I was there was quick and simple. The front desk guys I dealt with were always pleasant and personable. Although they had breakfast, I didn't partake as I'm more of an eat while I drive to work kinda woman! Since it was an extended stay, I needed to utilize the washer/dryer. The first time I did laundry, blue stuff got all over my white socks and light colored undergarments (my detergent was green). Going forward I just selected Extra Rinse and didn't have any more issues. The washer/dryer is coin operated but no change machine to my knowledge so having to get cash out and go to a bank (or Publix as I learned) to get quarters was an inconvenience. Being there on business, noise was a concern for me. I did not have issues with this. There was a couple days where a kid on the same floor would run down the hall (which you could hear) and would knock on people's doors that had Privacy hangers up. Other than that though, I never heard other people in their rooms or conversations outside in the hall. As far as cleaning- they made my bed, set out towels, and made sure the trash was emptied and I had toilet paper every day. That's really all I needed. I thought it was nice of their cleaning ladies to fold my additional blanket I had and place it nicely back on the bed.

This was the worst stay I had in state of Florida they had roaches all over the place. The bathroom door did not lock and the front desk guy did nothing about it. I will never EVER stay at this hotel again.

This is the first SureStay Hotel (a unit of Best Western) visit and I am impressed. For those who are stopping overnight on their way to a final destination, this is one hotel we would recommend. It may be bare in ammenities but a comfortable bed, pretty good soundproofing with working refridgerator were nice. Pricewise it was a great value. Great arriving and departure service and a pretty good breakfast (pretty standard breakfast offering for a normal Best Western). Will definately be considering them again if we are traveling through Jacksonville on our way to a destination and need to stop for a night.

The staff were excellent, the room was comfortable except for the HAVC. The only noise was the short cycling HVAC unit with an extremely annoying fan motor that screeched off and on most of the night. The unit was turned off around 3:00 AM to kill the nonsense. This motel like all others participated in price gouging due to the Daytona 500 being held 82 miles away. It is what it is.

Rooms should have been a little bit more cleaner. I would like to have the rooms little bit more cleaner. Restrooms were not cleaned properly. A little bit more cleaning would make stay more enjoyable and pleasurable.

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days in February 2020. A PLUS: This lodging option is very close to Interstate 95. Strangely enough, this lodging option is actually labeled as a "Hotel." As one who used to be in the hotel business myself, one may ask what are the major differences between a hotel and a motel??? I will tell you. For starters, a hotel actually has doors to gain access to a room on the INSIDE of the building, has a restaurant, fitness center, swimming pool, and other amenities. This "hotel" had none of these features! Thus, in my opinion, this place should have correctly labeled as a MOTEL rather than a HOTEL. Thus, we were apprehensive when we first drove into the place of what we were getting into. The rooms were decent for the money, with wifi, refrigerator/freezer, comfortable beds, and microwave. Ice machine available in hallways on each floor. The rooms were clean, housekeeping did a good job, and the employees were friendly. The TV remote in our room did not work. Had a desk clerk come over, and informed us that we had to turn the TV on and off with a switch on the side of the flat screen TV. Breakfast was served from 6-9 each morning, but for the 7 days we stayed there, there was no variety in what was served each morning; scrambled eggs, waffles, bananas, apples, yogurt, coffee, juices, muffins, danish rolls, and bread for toast. Would have been nice if they had changed things up a bit. An internet computer in the lobby came in handy for me to conduct my internet business when I needed to. The Wawa gas station and convenience store close by came in very handy for hot food to take back to our rooms. Overall, this lodging option was okay, and perhaps we would stay there again if we were ever in the area again. But next time, we would more than likely stay at a REAL hotel.

Very Good, customer service, breakfast and clean room. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. The cost was very good and location was great, off of 95 exit. Reallly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last week and it is a ok hotel for a cheap price. One thing that I was bothered by is that it has roaches. I had to kill a roach that was coming out of the sink in the bathroom. Had to get the front desk involved on cleaning my room, The walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on in your neighbors room and outside. But, other than that if you are just looking for a cheap place to take a shower and sleep for a few hours go for it. Their are many businesses across the street and beside the hotel as well. Parking is tight at night. Breakfast they serve the same thing every morning which is sausage patties and scrambled eggs. Front desk host was nice and helpful.

I booked a room here via travelocity and canceled the day I was told to cancel without getting a charge. I didn't think anything of it until I checked my account and found a charge for $73.72. I have been trying to get a refund for the last 3 days to no avail. This is horrible, taking advantage of a grieving person, I told you all via the phone that my account will overdraft and you don't even care. I had to attend my grandmother funeral and deal with other expenses, now you're charging me for a room that I canceled and didn't even stay at. I see I'll have to dispute this charge with my bank. I have to deal with my grandmother death and charges that should not have been

The room was painted nice & it had a frig, with freezer & microwave but...could not get the remote to work even with new batteries, the carpet felt wet/damp. There were terrible odors coming out of the bathroom, seemed like bad gasses coming out of pipes. Had to spray deodorizer to go in. Left early the next morning. Got home & the baby had 102.3 fever. We all got sick. Never had a bad stay at BW except for this place. Oh, my family said breakfast was good.

BOB was an amazing breakfast attendant, so nice made sure all was well kept and on point!! Must have breakfast when coking here!! The Ros were well kept but above all else customer service was great!!

When we first pulled in we were not pleased with the surrounding atmosphere. Once we checked in and went into our room it was GREAT. Room had pleasant colors looks as if it was recently remodeled and the bed was comfortable. Didn't hear a peep from any neighbors even though the hotel was full. Next morning we had a FANTASTIC breakfast and had the pleasure of meeting Bob who was extremely helpful, friendly and a FABULOUS host.

We stopped here for a night on our way to Disney World. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was nice and updated. Breakfast was delicious and Bob, the breakfast attendant, was super helpful and fun. But most of all, the staff went above and beyond by mailing us my daughters favorite teddy bear that we realized she had left there once we got home from our trip. I have a very happy girl again thanks to the caring staff at this hotel!

BOB was absolutely amazing. The staff itself actually was exceptionally great but I was a little judgemental cause typically the area wasn't known to be so good, just being honest. lol.. But BOB and the staff provided excellent service. A one night stay on way down to Florida. This place was well priced and a good value.Clean and a friendly front desk staff. On a personal note the bed was too soft for my taste but I rested well. I would stay here again.

The breakfast here is the most amazing and biggest selection I have ever seen and Bob even makes you waffles.The mirrors in the room are absolutely as newage as it gets and the beds are very very comfortable. Bob is so friendly he as a huge smile as soon as you walk in for breakfast.

I dont normally leave reviews but I was very much pressured into it by the very enthusiastic breakfast attendant. I could not even get my 6am coffee stirred and I was hounded to get my phone out and "leave a good review". The place is newly renovated and clean but waking up and 10 minutes later being harrassed for a "hood review" was not a nice way to wake up.

This is one of the best breakfasts I've had since hotel hoping in Jacksonville for business. The breakfast room is well attended by Bob, the sweetest person I've met while here in Jacksonville. The rooms are very clean and the staff super friendly.

I have been traveling to Jacksonville this year for appointments at Mayo. When I am alone for an overnight visit Sure Stay on University Blvd. has been my favorite place to stay so far. It has easy access off of I-95 and was an easy drive on Highway 90 to get to Mayo and back. I prefer to avoid the high speed traffic on Butler (202). There is a nice Publix about a mile away where I bought food to eat in my room. The refrigerator and microwave were helpful. The staff members were all very nice and as a solo traveler I felt safe.

The highlight of the stay was the hot breakfast. There was hot eggs, sausage and and a waffle machine. Also assorted juices, bread, and cereal. The area was clean with television and plenty of seating as well. There was a gentleman named Bob working there who brought the experience together with his friendly demeanor and great service. Would definitely recommend the hotel just based on this experience.

The breakfast was very good. Some hotels call waffles a hot breakfast. While they have waffles they also hot eggs and sausage. The attendant l, Bob was very helpful. The facility was very clean and modern. A great start to my day!

Breakfast is good very clean..eggs sausage toast cereal and yogurt perfect for a quick start of the day Bipin cleaned our tables as soon as we sat he helped me use the grill great job on breakfast..thanks slot Bipin.

Great service, great breakfast and a cool employee name bipin i can see he's working hard. Kinda of small area, the juice is pretty good and so is the food but anyways i can't wait to try it tommorow.

We stayed here overnight on a trip from VA to FL. The room was comfortable, clean, and convenient to 95. The breakfast room was extremely clean, and the gentleman who ran it was friendly and attentive. Would stay again!

Good service, Bipin was a good host. The rooms were cleaned exceptionally well and the breakfast was great selection. They took care of any problem that came up during the stay and the place was close to stores and restaurants.

Staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Hotel appeared to previously be a motel 8 or something similar. Online photos were a bit deceiving and make it look much nicer than it really is. Room was adequate but nothing special. Front door security lock was broken so even if I had it on, and someone tried to come into the room it wouldn't work to keep anyone out. Door to fridge cabinet was broken and off one of the hinges when I opened it, partially scraping my foot. Was a bit of an odor coming from the right side of the room. The window treatments do not cover the sides completely so there was light shining in all night which caused me to have trouble sleeping. Some questionable persons hanging around the property at night.

I enjoyed myself to the fullest the service was excellent most of all the kitchen worker was outstanding made my stay even better thank you sure stay and Bipin for making it so nice.the staff could not hav been nicer the rooms are were clean and it was quiet.

Full updated rooms and grounds. Run by the sweetest man, Bipin, who just wants to help. Had a restful time! The beds were ready comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and they had a variety of items.

We understood that the hotel is in remodeling, lets talk about the rooms are big and smell really good everything was more than clean and the breakfast awesome the personal attending in the breakfast is great they help you without a question. I can not give you guys 5 stars only because you are not finish the remodeling but you are really close to that 5 star for my and my family. Will be back soon. Great work.

The hotel wasn't what I expected, there a few things to improve in cleaning but the staff made my stay really pleasant. Specially Bipin in the breakfast, he was very nice and kind. The room was ok, I liked the colors in the room and comfortable bed.

We stay here for one night. Only was in Jacksonville for an concert, the free complimentary breakfast was set up nice. Bijin was nice, he was keeping the breakfast room stock and clean. The hotel looks newly remodeled, the bed slept great.

Our room felt like new. We stayed 3 nights. Very clean and beds were new pillow tops and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast area was very clean and well stocked with selections. Hot foods were cooked fresh and very tasty. The man in charge of breakfast area was so kind and helpful.They are almost completely finished with totally renovating this hotel. Very good value for the price. Convenient location to access area. Will stay here again when back in town.

Great business stay in Jacksonville on a budget - rooms were all new and completely remodeled. On-site staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was Hot and delicious. Beds were comfortable and pillows were very nice

Our room was immaculate. The breakfast was great. The service from Bipin in the breakfast room made our visit exceptional. He deserves to be recognized. We stayed here for it's convenient location to the ports and beaches.

Stayed in room 109 . Stay was very nice and affordable. My husband and I have no complaints . Staff was very helpful and friendly :) thank you guys for a lovely stay this weekend . The breakfast was great!

The price alone was hugely disappointing. It was jacked up to more than double for a normal night because of a concert in town. There was a small roach on the shower curtain. There was a dirty mark or something not wiped clean on the nightstand. There was a moldy smell to the room. The beds were too high for comfort. The service gave us fresh towels and that was it. They did not make the beds. We could not find the hair dryer and I was shocked there was not one, The final day we found it hanging in the closet area by the ironing board.

Stay at this hotel over a weekend. This is definitely a low budget hotel. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Front desk was very professional and helpful. This hotel is in a great location, close to nice restaurants and downtown area.

Was alright did not like customer service. They was unorganized and worker was not that polite. The rooms was a decent size but did not like there was bugs. I will on get a room there if i absolute have to

The room was dirty and the shower knob feel off when we went to take a shower, there are potholes in the parking lot. The staff are not friendly. The hairdryer was on the counter and still had the hardware sitting on the hairdryer waiting to be put on the wall. The door did not close and you could see outside all around the door. Was not informed that they did away with all their smoking rooms.

This was the first night after a long drive and just needed a few hours of sleep. Beds were uncomfortable, could feel the springs in my back. Also ended up with bed bug bites all over. Would not ever recommend or stay here again.

overall a nice place to stay ,just needs a little sprucing up, cut grass, paint rooms,new drapes carpet was ok,needs more and newer vending machines The staff was very nice and helpful,easy check-in/out
