"Very Nice Rooms"

We stayed here 4th of July on our way to Nashville. Lauren checked us in and was so nice. When we got to our room on the backside of the hotel, we found that the internet was not working. She tried to reset it but to no avail, so she gave us a discount on our room. Speaking of the room, it was superb, The bed was really comfortable. The poll was a real treat as it was a salt water pool. Very relaxing. We watched several fireworks from the pool. Breakfast next morning was awesome. Western omelets with biscuits and gravy. Waffles, sausage, fruit, etc. Cookie was very helpful and kind to us, keeping everything fresh. She also checked us out to our satisfaction.

We enjoyed our stay as we passed through. The room was so clean! Great guest service! Great saltwater pool! Excellent breakfast! We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a living room. It was great since we were traveling with 2 of our grand babies. We will definitely stay here any time we pass through. You can't get better customer service than these wonderful ladies! Even the Housekeeping staff went out of their way to smile and sincerely cared about the guests. Love this place!

Overall, the staff was nice and lobby was inviting, but small. Our room on the other hand, was good size, but was filthy and falling apart. I don't think it has seen a deep clean in months. We found Cheerios, ladies underwear and empty bottles behind and under furniture along with dirt and dust along the edges of the carpet. The shower and bed sheets were at least clean, but that's about it. I'm glad we only stayed for one night. Could not get out of that room fast enough. For$140 a night, I was expecting a little more attention to detail. Tried to upload pictures, but having a difficult time.

We chose this hotel for a quick overnight stay while visiting family. We were not too sure about it as we drive up with trepidation due to the surrounding area. I walked in to check in and the lobby and breakfast areas were redone. We walked into the room and were pleasantly surprised by the renovated condition and size! Plus, the fridge in the room was one of the larger mini fridges! The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of floor space for our pack n play. One word of warning. When we turned onto the road to pull in, it is very easy to miss the final turn into the motel. We had to turn around to get in. But, if that was the only inconvenience, I will take it!

My wife and I were driving back home from New Mexico and stopped at this hotel overnight. Was given room 206-A. As we were getting into bed I literally fell into a hole about 1/3 of the way across from the bed. The bed literally had a hole in it. If it hadn't been so late and we were tired and needed to get up early to continue traveling I would have insisted on a new room. Decided to stuff a pillow into the hole and try and sleep. My wife took the defective side as I was driving. She didn't sleep well. Asked for manager the next morning and was told they were not there but they would call us. It has been 2 1/2 weeks and still have no reply. Wrote Best Western customer service about it as well and again no reply. DO NOT STAY HERE. How can someone give you a room with a defective bed. Ridiculous.

"Borderline below average"

Stayed one night. Best feature was able to park car near room. No elevator. Pool dirty and appeared uncleaned since last summer. Lots of equipment and AC units sitting in stairwells, under stairwells, all around. Ice maker intermittently functioning. Room seems like it was recently painted, but poor job with paint on ceiling, shower, other wall of a different color--tacky. Breakfast area out of napkins, utensils, some food supplies. Seems front desk clerk also breakfast attendant--it didn't work. You could do better.

"Very good motel and good location"

This motel is a great value. Very clean and comfortable. Only complaint would be that the ergonomic desk chair is too large for the room. Once some one is sitting in the chair at the desk it is very difficult for anyone else to get by the desk. A large selection of very good to excellent restaurants very close by - almost within walking distance.

The freeway exit servicing this property is in the midst of a huge rebuilding operation so that you have to exit well prior to the normal exit. Not the hotel's fault, but keep it in mind; preferably let Google Maps show you the way. The hotel was more like a motel with exterior entrances and no elevator. Parking was no problem but it was a pretty good walk from the parking area to our upstairs room We had a sink drain that was very slow, almost clogged, but not worth calling someone that night. I did report it the next morning and was cheerfully assured that it would be fixed immediately. The heating/cooliing worked fine as did the TV, refrigerator, and microwave. Noise was not a problem even though we were quite close to I-40. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with biscuits and gravy as well as hot meat and the usual waffles. All in all, a good stay for a very reasonable price.

My family of 4 stayed here after a long day of driving. We had a room with 2 queen beds. It was a little cramped, not much room to walk around. Everything was clean, but the room was a little dated. We paid over $100 for the night, and I definitely think it's a little much. The nice thing about this hotel is that it's very close to I-40. Breakfast was good, my kids enjoyed it.

There's a Model 6 across the street that looks a lot nicer and is much less expensive. The Super 8 next store looks to be about the same quality and is also much less expensive. This place basically feels like a cheap motel masquerading as as Best Western. That's not to say the stay was bad. I was happy with the room. The breakfast was decent. But I expected much more for the price and pictures. This is a two star motel at best.

Out motorcycle riding and got caught in rain...stayed the night here and was happy with the accommodations, customer service and location to many stores and food places. Nice shower and big towels with all the supplies required!

Best Western as a corporate needs to implement some sort of procedure to its franchisees to detect bed bugs. I was bitten all night and have gotten medical attention. My bed bug bites have gotten infected. I recommend not staying at this location.

"Fine for a nights rest after a long drive"

We stayed here for one night on our drive through TN. The parking for anyone pulling a trailer could be a little tricky, but thankfully we were able to find open space in the back to get pulled in. Make sure to position it to be able to get out easily in the morning because you never know if there will be more cars in the morning. It is a older motel, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. That's really all we needed for some rest on our long drive.

This Best Western far exceeded my expectations. My handicapped accessible room was awesome. Most impressive staff from reservations to check in. In addition I have gluten free restrictions and staff knowledgeable in that area as well. Highly recommended.

We looked for a hotel that can accommodate all of us ( six...) for a night. We found this hotel on a reasonable price. Ws arrived at midnight and we found the room clean and ready. The best thing is that the woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful ( despite the hour). She fixed that with a room with a door to the parking lot. With four kids sleeping in the car , it was a life saver. We quickly put the kids in the beds and closed the night! Breakfast was o.k. nothing special. It was the perfect hotel for what we needed.

I was making a long drive by myself from Texas to Kentucky on a drizzly and gray Sunday afternoon, and I did not want to drive after dark, so I began looking for a good place to stop. I chose this hotel because I have had good experiences with Best Westerns in general, and I also had two gift cards from previous stays that I wanted to use. I was hungry when checking in and asked the desk staff for a recommendation for an Italian restaurant in the area. He directed me to one that was simply delightful and very affordable. I had a great meal, a nice night's sleep, a decent breakfast to get back on the road (food was nothing fancy, but very adequate). I also checked my email messages and did a little browsing on the computer in the lobby. There were fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies for guests--nice bedtime snack. Bed was very comfortable.

"Bring Ear and Nose Plugs"

Very noisy location. Room is sprayed with perfume scented something that was so over powering it was actually nauseating. In-room internet did not work for 3 devices. I would not recommend this Best Western. It did not meet the typical standards of a Best Western.

The staff at this location are wonderful! Friendly, accommodating and willing to help. The accommodations left a lot to be desired. The room was clean, towels and linens appeared newer. Unfortunately some of the “remodeling” wasn't well done which is the reason for the rating. (Uneven tub surround in bathroom - almost fell getting in, beat-up walls with a fresh coat of paint, flimsy door on the room, lots of street noise). breakfast area was clean and food options were good.

"Fair at best"

Friendly staff. Rooms were not as clean as I would have liked...hair in the tub/toilet/sink areas. Breakfast was fair, nothing special, but at least there was something to eat before hitting the road.

Nice comfortable stay. The room was clean overall and comfortable. The room is showing a little "age" in spots, but not bad. The staff informed me that they were in the process of some renovations - as the onsight "dumpster" would have indicated.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. I usually like to stay in a room with an interior entry, and having an exterior door was less desirable. Because of the exterior door, the outside noise, particularly of carts and suitcases rolling along the sidewalk, were amplified. I was unsuccessful in getting a wifi connection. The person at the desk verified that their service had been spotty. When I told her that I hadn't been able to get any connection she apologized and said she would credit my Best Western Rewards with additional points. I felt the room was safe and secure, important to me as a woman traveling alone.

Since I was only passing through all I can account for is the Staff, Room condition and Bed. All was in excellent shape even with it being an older Hotel. The only problem I had was the Construction going on outside of this property.

This is the second time I've stayed here in the past 12 months. I had a king size bed room. It was relatively spacious although the bathroom could have been bigger. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was quiet and located on the back side of the hotel on the bottom floor. The bed was fairly comfortable, however, I prefer the pillow top bed that is used in the Best Western Plus Hotels. I did not have breakfast so unable to rate that part of my stay. I was never able to hook up to the hotel's internet. be aware there was construction on the road between the interstate and the hotel road in early January. It looked like it may be a couple more months before the road work is completed.

Very comfortable bed, new fridge/microwave and Keurig coffee in our room. Friendly attentive staff. Several shopping and food choices nearby. We loved the extra touches for a motel, including a waffle bar with whip pie cream. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at this best western for one night. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. He helped us get into our room when our key would not work. The room is a little dated. There is a TV and good size bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfast in the morning had a good assortment of options. The receptionist let us in a couple minutes early! I would recommend this BW. It is not as modern as some best westerns along route 81. Overall great staff and night staying here. The hotel is walking distance to numerous restaurants.

Staff was helpful and engaging. Located within walking distance of multiple restaurants. Breakfast in lobby was surprisingly good. Eggs with cheese were the best. Clean rooms, good toiletries, comfortable beds. Cold night outside but the room stayed warm without having the heater running constantly. "Don't forget to mention the Excellent water pressure in the shower" says my wife.

This is a nice hotel to stay in if you are in the Jackson area. It is located next to I40. There are several restaurants in the area. The rooms are nice. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. There are also plenty of places to shop for whatever you might need or want.

Hotel is located just off US 45 and just south of Interstate 40. We arrived without a reservation and just needed a place to stay overnight on a long journey. We were greeted warmly and the person on call was attentive and very helpful. Our room was on the first floor with easy exterior access. Reasonable, clean and quiet but somewhat smaller than the average BW room. It was just fine for our stay. A hot breakfast was included. The hotel grounds were clean and well maintained. The area seemed vibrant with plenty of services close by and an abundant number of restaurants about for dinner. The biggest hassle was the access to and from the hotel due to (temporary, I assume) road construction. The hotel is right next to the highways and easily visible, but blocked roads and inadequate signage around the construction made access a challenge.

The hotel itself was in excellent shape. You could tell they had just remodeled. Our room was a little small but for one night it was fine. Breakfast in the morning was perfect to get us on our way. The only reason I rated this hotel a little lower is because when we pulled in at night the neighborhood just seemed a little sketchy and I did not feel safe.

The hotel itself was perfectly what we needed. We just needed a place to lay our head for the night on our trek from Ohio to Texas. The hotel has been recently renovated and was very nice. Our door to our room had to be manhandled to lock but the beds were comfy and clean. They had a nice little free breakfast in the lobby. My only complaint is the area did not feel very safe. We did not have any issues but I don't think I would stay off that exit again. It's a shame too because this is a nice little property.

We had a spur of the moment weekend get away and found this hotel. We got the queen suite and it was great. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They were very personable. There was construction on the road in front of the hotel but it wasn't the hotels fault. TDOT is doing a lot of work on the highway. It wasn't a problem for us.

My reservation at another hotel was cancelled without them notifying me. When I arrived there, the informed me that my reservation had been cancelled and that they were sold out. They did not offer any apology to me at all. I had worked for 12 hours that day, then drove 2 1/2 hours to get to Jackson, TN for a conference that started the next day and I was very tired. I had called my wife to tell her about what happened and she was able to find me a room at the Best Western Carriage House. When I arrived, the front desk clerk was expecting me and informed me that the only room she had was a smoking room. She offered to let me inspect the room before I checked in, since I'm a non-smoker. I told her that I didn't care and that all I wanted to do was go to sleep. When I got to the room it was very clean, however it smelled of cigarettes very badly. I was able to sleep comfortably and the next morning, I went to the front desk and asked if they were going to have any non-smoking rooms available. The clerk told me they would and I asked if I could reserve one. He put a note in the computer system about it and I said that I would be back around 5:00 pm. When I arrived back at the hotel, I went to my room to gather my bags and I found that they were gone! I went to the front desk and gave the clerk my name and she knew who I was immediately. She didn't even let me tell her that my bags were missing. She immediately said that my bags had been moved to another room by the hotel manager, gave me my key and asked if there was anything else she could do. When I got to my new room, it was very clean, like the first room, but did not have that cigarette smell. All of my belongings had been placed in the exact same spot that they were in in my old room. Even the drinks that I had in the refrigerator were in the exact same spot in the new refrigerator! That is exceptional attention to detail. I want to thank all of the staff at the Best Western Carriage House in Jackson, TN for their professionalism, attention to detail and, most of all, their kindness. It won't be forgotten. I wish I could remember their names.

Called hotel they wanted $130 for room, phoned BW got room for $76. Got to hotel( I could see it) there's construction main entrance closed off with barrels. Drove a complete circle, I'm pulling a 16 ft trailor, no entrance. Had to turn around, phoned hotel, clerk couldn't tell me street names to get there. Wound up back on freeway, was a night mare. Get to room, writing desk had liquid stains and fingerprints all over it, something Red spilt in sink. I do not recommend this BW at this time.

Stayed one night then left for another hotel. Parking area and entrance to the hotel parking was cramped with semi trucks. Grounds are not level (hilly). However, grounds were well maintained. Our room was on the 2nd level. Had to use the steep stairs at the end of the building to get to the room that was located in the middle of the building. Room was small and bathroom was really cramped. We found long hairs all over the basin counter which was a turn off. Beds were ok but no pillow top type mattress. All rooms have an exterior entrance. Breakfast room was very small and cramped. Hotel is not located in the best location. We were told a lot of crime is in the area. Sorry but we would not stay here again.

"ONE NIGHT"

Stayed at this hotel one night starting our vacation. We had a king size room and space was a little tight. There was barely room to walk between the foot of the bed and the desk chair. The carpet could use a good cleaning or replacing; bed and bathroom were clean. The main thing you will need to remember, NO ELEVATOR is available. If you're upstairs, you have to climb stairs.

Ok place to stay for one night over. They put us on the second floor after we requested a room on the main floor. We are elderly and didn't want to deal with steps for luggage, etc. Hard for my wife to get up and down steps. No elevator. Rooms open to the outside. We had to park our car a ways away from our room location. Not really what we wanted to do. Some of the electric sockets did not work to charge our phones, etc. Did not stay for breakfast as it really appeared like the typical BW breakfast. Same ole, same ole. Powdered eggs, etc. YUCK! BW breakfasts, in general, are really going down hill. Very likely will not stay here again. Sorry. It is what it is.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was very kind on check in and check out nice place to stay would stay again! Breakfast had a good variety of stuff didn't really like the way eggs were cooked but that would have to be the only negative thing

We had a very restful sleep at this hotel. Bed were very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The carpet felt a bit dirty but the bathroom was spotless. The shower was very clean. I would recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night on business. The hotel and room were very clean and nice and located near many restaurants and stores. The air conditioner in the bedroom part of the suite did not cool as well as it should have but I wasn't going to move in the middle of the night so didn't report it until the morning when I checked out. Overall a good place to stay.

This exit had quite a few hotels but this one attracted me and I have had very good experience with BW chain. Clean outside and in plus friendly workers. Room was clean and inviting. Nice quiet location but close to highway.

Very nice hotel for the money. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, good staff. Beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would like to see that they don't have is a hot tub. After several days of travelling across country, a hot tub would be a wonderful asset.

The room was clean and the Bed was just ok. I had to try three receptacles to charge my i phone. One HBO movie channel listed in their guide but it was not working. The breakfast was ok. I think with the tight space they are doing the best they can. At check in the man was rude at first but got better. Nothing about this place or its staff makes me want to stay here again. Too bad since this was my first night in Jackson. I tried them out and will be traveling back every other week now for business. I gave them a chance first.

Filthy rooms in two out of three accommodations on our trip. Rooms had hair in bathroom shower ledge. Toilet and bathtub were filthy. Things were on ledges by sink. Freezer was dirty. Accommodations were "last room available" for mobility disabled couple. No offer to help get luggage to room. Horrible time.

It's all great! Staff, decor, free breakfast, peaceful, clean room and linens, and the bed and pillows allow one great night of rest! Sits off the road so there is not any traffic noises. Gas and food also very near!

We booked a room there last June on their mobile web site. It did not indicate that is was a smoking room except in the fine print. My wife can't tolerate a smoking room. We had to go to another hotel. When I complained to Best Western, their customer support people were slow to respond (if at all) and didn't bother to read the email chain. I wasted 40 minutes of my time with a supervisor explaining the problems with their website and their lack of customer service. We had been trying Best Westerns -- but we will not be staying there again.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and mostly helpful, but there was no wi-fi in my room. I talked to the front dest about it, but they either couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. They did not offer to move me to another room, even though rooms were available. Also, the breakfast area is very small and crowded. However, the food is good.

The room had a foul odor, the bed was sagging and overdue to be replaced. When we attempted to heat water in the microwave for breakfast tea, it blew a fuse after 45 seconds. This also put the TV out of commission. The breakfast was mediocre and insufficient even for a continental breakfast. The lobby and staff were the saving graces of this visit.

The staff was thoughtful and efficient. The room was adequate but not well arranged, barely enough room between the desk chair and the foot of the bed. The clothes rack overhangs the sink base and interferes with headroom. The room was clean, though there were smudges here and there on the walls. The upholstered chair had a rather nasty looking stain on the seat cushion. Sheets and pillowcases were clean.

This is an older Motel (outside entrance to rooms). But, it has most of the conveniences that value seeking travellers are expecting (easy access to Interstate highway, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast). It is NOT modern Hotel. However, it has a friendly and helpful staff (both arrival and departure), clean rooms, and comfortable sleeping experience. I found the temperature controls easier to handle than a more expensive location. Because it is near an Interstate highway there is some noise. It didn't bother me or my wife. The small breakfast room worked well for us -- first time I bothered to make waffles because there were so few of us. Little problems were handled quickly by friendly staff. I have spent more for less.

Excellent BW. Chose this place between Memphis and Nashville because of convenient location directly off I-40.. Specified "pool" in my search, and was pleased to find this hotel w/ salt water pool (which at check-in was told it is the only one around). The tempting smell of popcorn greeted me at check-inn, a nice touch. The staff is very attentive and professional. The small, clean BW is reasonably upgraded: the bed and bedding were very comfortable, the lobby / breakfast room was modern and very clean. The breakfast, while the exact standard BW fare, was presented perfectly, well-stocked, at the proper temperature with ALL the extras. Coffee was available in the lobby all day in the lobby.

We stopped here for a quick over night on vacation. We were hit up by a very aggressive man asking for money before we even got out of our car. It was late at night and made me very uncomfortable with my 3 young children. Got passed that and got room. It smelled clean enough but the photo below will show the cleanliness. Front desk clerk (behind glass with a little hole to talk into) was very nice and quickly refunded our money.

The beds were fine however the pillows were too squishy. The rooms are a little musty smelling but they are clean and everything was in good working order. It was easy to get to being right off the freeway with a couple places to eat within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.

We needed a place to rest from driving 9 hours with another full driving day ahead of us. This fit the bill . Reasonable room rate and clean room. Outside salt water seasonal pool was very relaxing. I have stayed at this Hotel before a couple of years ago that being said I founded on this stay the Hotel is in immediate need of updates and ,repairs.Just to mention a few things that needs attention bathtub water seeps out,curtains need to be updated,carpeting needs to be updated. Exterior Doors should be replaced Location is perfect, right off HWY45 numerous businesses and restaurants in close proximity. Staffing address issues in a timely manner. Thumbs Up to Lauren she took care of a billing issue in a very Professional Manner,one young lady needs a brushup on Customer Service.

Broke our drive from Memphis to Nashville here at Jackson. What a great hotel. Clean, really friendly staff, walking distance to a number of dining options and added bonus of a pool and a spa bath. Two rooms cost us $210 all up so terrific value for money. Highly recommended.

I went to Jackson, Tn on a quick visit to see a friend. I call and booked a room with no problems, in fact, the desk clerk was extremely helpful. The room was nice and comfortable and the AC was on so it was cool in the room. Everything was just great.

A lot of problems because the reservation line promised one thing and the hotel clearly couldn't deliver. My son had to sleep on the FLOOR because they didn't have a rollaway (I was told they did). No concessions were made. Breakfast was tolerable - not like you'd expect at Best Western. Rooms are very tight with too much excess furniture. People are nice and the rooms are clean. Check the A/C before you unpack.

The room had mold in the upper corner on the ceiling in the shower and there as a baby bottle under one of the beds that had been there long enough for the milk inside it looked like butter. The breakfast items were OK, but they didn't make biscuits and gravy the morning we ate there. We went to McDonalds next door for breakfast. We stay at Best Westerns most of the time when we travel. This one was not as nice as others we have stayed at.

Getting to this hotel is via an access road. Once there, the staff is friendly and very helpful in answering questions about places to eat, etc. They are also very accommodating to people who have physical limitations (not being able to climb stairs, etc). The room was quaint, however, getting in and out of the bathroom was a physical experience if you are not a thin person. Otherwise, the room was nice. Definitely smaller room than most other Best Western Kind bed rooms, however, it worked for us since we were only there for one night. The breakfast was adequate and the checkout was very efficient on the part of the staff (our receipt was already printed and waiting for us).

We were traveling with a younger grandson, and had a king and double sofa bed. It was QUITE NICE! Free wifi was just fine, small fridge, microwave, excellent bed, A/C, etc. The location was just off I-20, and no glitches. Better than we expected! Staff working there went over-board to provide really good service!

We stopped here on our way to the GSMNP. We had a very comfortable, clean, quiet room. We will stay here again when we are in the area. Breakfast was good with choices that are the usual for Best Western hotels. We were only here for a short time but were very satisfied with our visit. We were on the 2nd floor with no elevator. That was the only drawback.

We stayed here twice as Jackson, TN was the halfway point in a trip we were on. The first stay the chair in room #126 had a nasty stain on it. The second stay in room #112 had a cleaner room. The hotel was a little strange in that one of the buildings to the left of the pool and front office (which looked identical to the Best Western) seemed to have been fenced off and was being operated as a Super 8. It gave you the feeling that this place may be in decline. This separation made it hard to navigate the back side of the property to park. The hotel was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms were clean (other than the aforementioned chair). The bathroom looked worn in both rooms. It was still a great value for the money spent as the lobby was up to full Best Western standards including the breakfast and coffee. There was limited seating at breakfast but they were not busier than the space available. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Shower and bathroom floor very slippery upon exiting shower, Am a stroke victim, and felt wrong kind of tile used for handicap access room. Was able to catch myself and not fall completely down. All rooms are provided bath matts for the floor, we would have been glad to give you more. We stayed here on our way to Gatlinburg. Check in and out was quick and easy, the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Our room, 122, was on the back side of the building so traffic noise was minimal. The room was a little on the small side, but clean and comfortable. The A/C made noise though. All the rooms had exterior doors. The hotel was close to the interstate. There are several restaurants within close distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Of all the BWs we stay in, the breakfast menu was the least, the coffee tasted like hot water and the dining area which has only 3 small round tables is too crowded. Only 6 people can access food and seating comfortably. Of the 3 tables, one is pushed against the heating/cooling unit so that only 2 persons can sit at it. Of those 2 people, one is sitting in front of a breakfast dispenser. This is the highest room rate of any BWs on our route from NC to AR.

We stayed in the middle of April and it was a great hotel. The staff was really sweet and you could tell they would do anything to help out. Our living room tv remote did not completely work and they came out and fixed it. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed ourselves. Would stay again.

Was here four four days while our motorhome was in garage. AC did not work for two days ....I helped take it out to have them put in replacement...celling light in bathroom fell off into shower....lady at front desk offered me a ladder so I could put it back....I refused...some one came three hours later to fix.....refrigerator did not work all the time...food spoiled....told staff nothing done...cleaning staff only cleaned and brought towels etc when we pestered front desk ....room was still not clean when we left.complained to best Western .didnt do anything for us...offered us a few BW points...not many even....nothing else done no follow up...will not stay at BW again they don't care about clients at all!!

With regards to the light cover in the bathroom we apologize for the cover falling down I spoke to the desk clerk that was in duty she was not able to climb to place it back up due to being pregnant but the cover was place replaced in a matter of a hour. We apologize again for any issues you experience since you were there several days we would have been glad to move you to a more comfortable rooms if we would have know you were unhappy. Again we apologize.

Room and bed were comfortable but there was noise from the street and AC unit. No elevator. Convenient to interstate. Staff was friendly and accomodating on the phone and in person. Didn't notice that the charging outlet at desk didn't work when I turned off the light so my electronics weren't charged the next morning.

I travel quite a bit for work throughout each year. I always stay at Best Western if there is one in the town I'm traveling to. Until this Best Western, I have never had any problems. Normally the service is great (which the service was the only thing good about this BW), the rooms are usually nice, comfortable and cheap. However, I paid about 25% more than I ever have at any other BW I have ever been at, the rooms were not great by no means. The beds were horrible, the room smelled like a big ashtray and mold. We were bothered by a housekeeper that made us feel as if we had stolen a wallet from her that she left in another room while cleaning. I willnot stay at this BW again when in town fro business.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. First this hotel location is hard to find. Entrance is located between two buildings with a small sign pointing toward it. This hotel is a two story WITHOUT an elevator. The bath room was small and in need of a good cleaning, exhaust fan did not work. Breakfast area very small and will only seat about six people. I won't stay here again!

I would like to explain that Best Western doesnt require properties to have an elevator unless they have 3 or more stories, I apologize if you didnt notice we have 2 signs at our entrance in front of the property. 1 is a smaller one at eye level and the other is a very large standard signed about 30 feet in the air that can be seen for miles. I agree we are located at one of the busiest intersection in Jackson, which can create many challenges. Regarding our breakfast area we have 3 tables in the breakfast area that seats 12 people along with a large high top table that also sits another 4. With the property only having 48 rooms it is a small breakfast area & we try to accommodate where we can. Customer service was great at check-in and checkout... The breakfast bar was good had lots of choices... Our concerns with the room were handled quickly and appropriately. The young lady that set up the food had exceptional customer service...

Very dissatisfied with bathroom, just plain nasty. Peeling walls , peeling tub. There was lots of hot water which was good. Air conditioner did not cool. Wifi was very poor and cutting out. Thumbs down.

Very friendly staff. Location was close to interstate. Room was nice and clean and bed was fairly comfortable. The bathrooms about as small as they could be. Almost have to stand in the shower to shut the door. If you need a quick room right off the interstate this isn't a bad one but there are probably some that are a little bit nicer without being much more expensive. All in all I had a good experience with this hotel.

Traveling through with our three kids and dog. We were very thankful to find a clean, safe, hotel for the family to stay. Breakfast wasn't great but no other complaints. Clean, cable, internet, plenty of towels, and pillows were soft. We will stay here again when we drive through.

our last stay in Sept was good, this time the room was upstairs, and not clean , fridge was dirty. just a bad experience, the hotel is easy to get to and that is why we wanted to stay again. our last room was downstairs next to the office but this stay was on upper level. it was like walking into a different world.

This was a quick overnight stay en route with my toddler. The hotel staff, facilities and amenities were great.Very clean! Breakfast was tasty too. The hotel itself was tucked in off the road, but easily accessible. This made me feel quite safe since I was traveling alone with my child. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had multiple BW visits over the past year which earned us several $50 off coupons. That is the reason we chose to stay at BW in Jackson. It is not in my favorite area of Jackson and there was a Lane College homecoming which had all the hotels booked up. The breakfast area has 3 tables, one of which is near a vent blowing cold air. This is my second stay at this BW. I'm not sure I will choose it again.

Just a quick nights stay on a long drive home during vacation. I see a lot of very good reviews so maybe we were just there on a bad housekeeping day. There was a small chair with a footstool in the room. There was heavy dust around the seat cushion of the chair and there were potato chips in the corners of the chair. It seemed that the room needed just a few more minutes of general housekeeping. Great price, sufficient breakfast.

Sorry folks but this hotel is not the excellent place it was. Apparently in 2015 they were bought out. We have stayed in this hotel a minimum of 4 nights per year as we travel a specific route to see family and friends twice a year. We have always stayed there a minimum of 2 nights (going and returning) every 6 months for the last 3 or 4 years. The beds are still great and initial overall appearance is the same. This trip, the staff were not very friendly upon check in/out. The room smelled of sewage. The toilet was not clean (ever lift the seat in your room) as dry urine was all over the rim of the toilet. The sink was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Since we have stayed here so frequently and been so pleased, we asked the manager to come to the room and see for herself. She looked at the sink and bathroom, acknowledged it was not clean. She acknowledged the room had a terrible smell. We discussed our disappointment for probably 10 to 15 minutes. She left saying maybe one of her maintenance men had come in and used the bathroom/sink after it had been cleaned. We assumed she would be sending someone to clean the room or move us to another room. NO SUCH HAPPENING! Never heard from her or anyone else until the next morning at checkout. (We had some Clorox cleanup sheets with us so WE cleaned the toilet and sink) We also had Febreeze with us and sprayed some in the room.) We saw her at breakfast and nothing was said to us regarding the room. The breakfast meal was very sad. Nothing like the spread on other visits. Fruit was old and bruised. The link sausage had been cooked so long the casing was like plastic, couldn't eat it. The eggs were so hard I had to cut the center out to get a bite of egg :( No adjustments to our bill was made or offered . We were offered some "reward points" on our Best Western card but they couldn't find our account number and we didn't have the actual card with us. It was strange that they couldn't find our account number because we were given the Best Western Rate for card holders. We left but shared with the desk clerk to tell Carolyn, the manager , we would not be staying with them again. This was one of our favorite places to stay, but not anymore! We know things change when hotels are bought out, but this was so out of character with what we had experienced in the past it was hard to believe. We can no longer recommend this hotel.

Very clean, good breakfast. Easy access. Will stay when we travel again. The night clerk was very helpful and kind. Our check in and questions were responded to in a very informed way. The Hotel was easy to get to from I-40.The grounds, lobby and room were very clean and inviting. The fact that there was a microwave, small ice box, hairdryer, iron/ironing board and quality bath towels and shampoo/conditioner and lotion were very much appreciated.

We love this after an exhausting drive from Houston on the way to Kentucky. Great reception man- he recommended several local and nearby restaurant options and the one we went to - Redbones- Cajun) was very good. Great bed, very clean, coffee in the room great, and a VERY good breakfast for free. The price was fair, and did I mention the great bed?

I enjoyed my stay and everything was very nice and the price and location was wonderful. The fount desk staff was nice and the breakfast person was great also. The problem I had as a BW Platinum member was useing my $50 reward card. I called BW twice to get the number and it was entered by the staff twice but when I looked over my CC bill I found it had not been taken off. After another call to the hotel they needed the number again to be processed. I called BW again (fourth call if you are counting) and they told me that property had used my card but had not been credited to me? After another long hold BW corp called the hotel and got it straight. I did not stay at BW for years due to their rooms being dirty but that has not been the case in the past 6 years now I am not going to stay at BW's because of font desk issue like this!

If I'm ever in Jackson, TN, again, I won't stay in this motel. I don't know who the owner is or what their standards are for personnel, services, cleanliness of the rooms, etc. Practically needed a GPS to find the vending and ice machines -- even after hotel staff told me how to find it.

This hotel is a nice place to stop over for a nights rest. The staff was all very nice and helpful. I stayed a few weeks earlier on a similar trip and the room was fine. This time I did not like the room the gave me at first and the staff was fast and nice to switch to another room. I actually got the same room as my last stay and again everything was AOK. It was a long 12 hr trip from oklahoma, we had some car problems on the way, so it was getting late, I had a reservation planning to drive 9 hr, when we got there it was clean good beds to rest and clean bathroom.. in the morning they had nice breakfast. Outside the hotel look a little old.

This hotel was just a quick stopover on our way back home, and for that it served its purpose. The room was fine, but the breakfast area was tiny. Normally I check Trip Advisor reviews before booking a place, but I simply didn't have time this go around. Had I done that, I might have chosen differently. One thing I definitely shy away from are reviews that get zero response back from management or reviews that get "copy and paste" responses (such as this one). Still, it was fine for the one night.

Clean room, very good service from all staff. Stayed two nights for a wedding. Only reason we did not give five stars was the following minor issues. Toilet tank leaked, two stairs hard to walk on in high heels, (wife, wedding), Breakfast area was too small for number of guests. I would stay again. Pillows and bed very nice. Breakfast was good.

Loved the room, very roomy, and comfortable. Worked great for the four of us. Pool was great, very relaxing. The breakfast was wonderful, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, cereal, rolls, yogurt, toast, jelly, bagels, cream cheese..even the picky little ones found something they liked!. Will definitely be back!!

This Best Western is good for a quick stay when you don't have another option when traveling with your pet. Otherwise, I would not recommend this hotel. The staff is unfriendly and acted burdened when asked questions. Being treated like that is just not worth it even with a decent price. There are cheaper hotels in the area with similar rooms and poor customer service.

The bed was superb. The breakfast was very good. We rented a king suite as we were in town for 4 days attending "Jackson Sings the Gospel". It was great to have the double room provided by the suite. The couch, chair, and lamps however have seen better days and could use replacing. On the last day some of the cleaning staff did not show up and I felt sorry for the exhausted maid who finally made it to our room about 5 p.m. Nevertheless, she still did an excellent job of cleaning.

TV channels were very hazy. Price of room greater than the value of the room. Hotels in the same area have compatible accommodations for less money. BW has steadily increased the price of rooms with very little increase in value. This trip has priced me out of BW and I will seek other accommodations on my next business stay.

"Not What We Expected"

This motel is in a convenient location, but that is just about all it has going for it! It looks nice from the outside, but our room was the opposite of nice. It was dirty, had a few bugs, and there was blood on the bathroom wall. Our room was not soundproof at all, so at times it was a little noisy. It wasn't in what I would call a very safe area, so we really only left the room to find a place to eat dinner in a nicer part of town. We were also really disappointed that the pool was closed and did not work, since that is the main thing that attracted us to choose the Best Western in the first place! Upon check in, the girl at the front desk was not very friendly and never mentioned that the pool was not working. Even when my husband and daughter went down there dressed in their swimming suits, she still never informed them. They found out on their own when they went to open the gate and it was locked. We were only there one night, as we were passing through on our way to the beach, and boy were we glad to get out of there the next morning! On our way back through after our beach vacation was over, we opted to stay at a different hotel in Jackson, which was WAY nicer and more friendly.

The hotel advertised free wifi. The wifi was free. However, it was non-existent in the room assigned to me. I told the desk clerk about this and was made to feel like I didn't know how to connect to the internet using the hotel password in a condescending way. I went on to explain that I did connect but could not in my room. I found wifi connections a few steps down the outside walkway and near the office, but not in my room. In addition, I was not offered the option of the hotel moving us to another room in the hotel. Basically, I felt like it was my fault and the hotel had no responsibility.

We have stayed here before. It is located in a convenient place on our trip, right off the interstate near restaurants. We have a child with us and there are a couple of things there for a kid to do. The room is satisfactory in every way, cool, clean with everything working as it should. The breakfast is OK, and there is decent coffee with half and half. (a must) The price is reasonable, the neighborhood safe.

This hotel served its purpose as far as being clean and comfortable. We was traveling in a large group and needed 5 rooms for the night on our way to Tellico Plains. We were all placed in rooms on the second floor facing the pool which was under renovation. (We were there in June, would have been nice to have a pool to sit out at or any sitting area outside but none at this hotel). The water pressure was very low in all rooms that was rented. As mentioned, there is no seating area outside and the pool was under renovation. (the clerk stated this should be completed end of June) so if booking before then, don't expect a pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable which is the main reason that on our way back from Tellico Plains, we did choose to stay again in this hotel. My husband and I were divided up from the group and placed in the rooms in the back of the hotel. The water pressure was much better back there. We was placed in room 106. The toilet lid was broken and NOW while I did have to wipe down the toilet seat because it appeared dirty, all else seemed clean. I did have to report the toilet lid being broken which was very wobbly and kept falling. Hopefully this simple maintenance problem has been fixed. The staff was friendly. Breakfast, I mean, it is a hotel breakfast. Don't go in expecting much and you wont be disappointed. Have I stayed at better Best Westerns? DEFINITELY!!! Would I stay at this one again? As mentioned above. I HAVE. and yes I would again. If you want clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price, check in here. This is why we normally stay at Best Westerns. While you may have a few problems with some like this one, they are not so bad that I wont stay again. Ask for a room in the back of the hotel though. Better water pressure.

We just stayed overnight on our way to the beach. It was a bit scary... We put our luggage directly into the bathtub, and didn't leave the room. I went out to the van once, and raced right back in. The area was a little scary.

I almost chose not to stay at this motel because of the web reviews. As I mentioned earlier, I was surprised when I made the reservation that it cost more than our room at the Saddleback hotel in Oklahoma where we stayed at the night before. I was disappointed that there was no fitness center or hot tub and felt ripped off when I discovered that the pool was not operational. The room itself was ok. There were problems with the shower handle coming off, the loose shower curtain rod, and the insecure feeling while standing in the tub.

Desk staff very welcoming and helpful. Upon check-in, desk manager took the time to make sure that I received my award points for the stay even though I didn't have my card with me. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel was located right off Interstate. Have always had good experience with Best Western hotels and this was no exception.

Very friendly and quick check-in, clean room with everything working. Express check-out with receipt sent to my e-mail. The breakfast left a little to be desired, but still good for a freebie. No ice machine on the upper level. Very friendly check-out. Overall a good experience

"Pretty nice for a stop & go"

We stopped on our way home. It was lackluster but the staff was very nice. We checked in at 12am & left at 12pm. We just checked in & hit the bed. That's all we needed. It is right off I-40 at Jackson. We did not make it to breakfast so I'm not able to tell you about it.

"Poor"

would never stay at this motel again. very noisy, things going on all nigh. second nigh police surrounded the place. It looked very nice on the outside, it was nice on the inside but we did not feel safe. With all the going on there was no security patrolling. Doors on outside which I feel is unsafe in its self. Should not have chosen this motel but went thru expedia and was not allowed to cancelled.

The grounds are well maintained. Check in was a nice experience and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet and the wonderful beds. Breakfast was the usual but the arrangements were convenient.

I highly recommend this Best Western. I felt very safe here. The staff was professional and polite. The breakfast was great. a nice variety of foods. The room was clean and neat. The bed was not as great as I thought it should be but still comfortable. The parking lot was clean and well lighted.

A remodeled hotel, but nice place to stay. Room is on the small size, but beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast! Staff was exceptionally helpful about places to eat that were nearby. We took their advice and was very pleased with our meal. The hotel was quiet and clean.

Over-priced considering lack of table space in breakfast area, hot coffee must be carried from lobby about 30 feet to tables and ill-arranged, over-abundant furniture in a small room for a king-size bed which was about 2 feet from the heat/cooling unit at the window.

It should be noted that this hotel doesn't have elevators. Would classify this hotel as an motel because of the lack of quality for the price. Entrance doors need seals repaired, entrance locks need updating, and can hear people in the next room. Looks like a lower quality hotel with new paint and sheets.

"Over priced"

On arrival check in clerk was very helpful and nice. I ask for best rate for two people double bed and was given best rate AAA. Clerk gave me 2nd. floor, this was ok. Walking up outside stairway noticed outdoor carpet coming off. Opened door and was shocked with a small narrow old looking room looked like Motel 6 or Econo lodge! For $80.00 plus tax was too expensive for what we got. We would have ask for a refund and went to the Quality inn that we passed up for Best Western, but we were tired from driving 2400 miles in three days and kept the room. Took a shower and curtain was too short, tried to keep water out of floor with towels. Then went to bed with a lot of road noise the door did not seal off well could see light around it. Breakfast was ok but not much seating for the people there. Sorry for the complaint but have been well satisfied at previous Best Western locations.

"Basic, but clean and quiet"

This property is conveniently located, with malls, shops, and restaurants nearby. The room was pretty basic, but very clean. Again, basic breakfast with hot/cold cereals, fruits, yogurt, etc. Because the price was lower than surrounding hotels, we felt this was a clean alternative to some of the more expensive hotels nearby.

signs to locate Best Western on and off the road was hard to see signs are too small to see behind over sized trees and brush. Needed room to park vehicle and trailer so had to park in space to block two or three spaces.

My wife and I spent one night at this hotel. It is right off the highway so easy for on/off of interstate. Upon entry into the room you could tell that it had recently be deodorized probably because a past guest had been smoking in a non-smoking room. Also the temperature in the room was very cold and it took a period of time for it to be brought up to a reasonable temperature. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, however the drain stopper in the sink was broken. This was reported to the hotel upon check-out. The breakfast was OK. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Centrally located, safe and comfortable. Attentive staff provide easy transactions. Nice stop for a pleasant rest near many restaurants & shopping areas. Easy access to Interstate 40 and Hwy 45. Extensive selections on the free breakfast bar to start the day!

The hotel was noisy, shabby and not nearly as appealing as even the tepid Trip Advisor ratings indicated. The bathroom was cramped and not overly clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. There wasn't even a mattress cover! We had made a non-refundable reservation and it was New Year's Eve and we were in transit. Otherwise, we would have gone somewhere else. Becoming less of a fan of Best Western after every stay.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. We travel with 2 small dogs which can make finding a hotel difficult. This is hotel is clean, update and has an exceptional staff. The location is very convenient just off I-40 about an hour east of Memphis. Restaurants and bars are located within walking distance of hotel.

We really liked our time at this property both times we stayed. It was easy on/off. Lots of services nearby. We were in a very quiet area both times. Where it felt like you were the only ones there.The breakfast was fast and easy along with being tasty. We were able to grab and go.

"great overnight stop"

This BW is a well revitalized older, small property. Overall a good staff experience. Just an adequate breakfast, breakfast staff was overworked, and selection/quantity was limited. Great bed and HOT water for the shower! Check in was good experience, check out was unattended for 10 minutes.

"Don't waste your time"

Stayed for two nights, two to many. This place has been remodeled so many times they just can't cover up old any more. The Mcdonalds next door left us smelling like french fries all over. Very busy area, surrounded by welfare hotels and fried food joints. Liquor stores etc. the staff was nice and the breakfast was ok, pillows were cheap flat hollow fill crap and the towels were scratchy...

The hotel was pretty dated, no recent upgrades to the rooms. The toilet didn't flush well without holding down the handle for a while. The breakfast room had 3 or 4 tables and was very tight. The customer service was excellent.

The Best Western in Jackson TN was a great value for me. I travel for business and look for good value, clean and safe hotel grounds and convenient locations. This hotel met all my needs. Easy on and off I-40, close to several good restaurants and centrally located to where I conducted my business. The room was comfortable and as advertised on the website. The check in and out process went smoothly and the staff were all polite and helpful. I recommend the Best Western in Jackson to TN to anyone looking for a good, clean and safe hotel.

Staff was very nice and the hotel is BETTER than most in Jackson. The room was kinda small ,you could hear traffic from the highway,and the toilet sounded like an airel bomb when flushed...only bad complaints. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was adequate. Would stay again if I stopped in Jackson.

To be honest, this was a lot nicer than I thought it would be. The beds were very comfortable. I have only 2 complaints. 1. no elevator. For myself, this was not a problem, but for my 90 year old parents, it presented a challenge. I wish hotel/motels would post whether they have elevators or not in a standard posting. 2. I had a room with a "connecting" door. It did not connect to someone I knew. My neighbors watched tv until about 11 p.m. It was not excessively loud, but just loud enough to be annoying. The night management was great. The breakfast was acceptable, but the area is a bit small.

The staff upon checkin was excellent. It was a little difficult to find but then we found out that it was due to our GPS. Had we followed the signs on highway, we would have found it immediately. The room was a little tight but comfortable bed.

Was not a bad place to stay overall. Just off the Interstate. Just a small area to move around in. They did have a good breakfast! Just hard to pull luggage up a stairwell when you are older. Good access off and on the Interstate. Had gas stations and a Wal Mart not to far from it.

The hotel was an excellent choice for us. the town was small enough that we were comfortable getting out and exploring the area. We ate a cozy restaurant on Route 66--a place that neither of us had ever been. The hotel was conveniently located, clean, and the rooms were large enough for us to relax.

My husband and I are staying for a week on business and we have found the rooms to be very clean and well maintained, as well as exceptional service from the housekeeping staff and front desk! It has been a very pleasurable stay!

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. ALL of our stays have been pleasant and restful. Their rates are very reasonable, beds are wonderful, not too soft and not too hard. If you have back problems, this is the hotel for you! Rooms are clean, WI-fi works great and all of the staff are helpful. If you have any problems, just tell them and it will be fixed immediately. Our TV was fuzzy when we got there. We were immediately moved, with an offer to help us move our luggage, to another room. Breakfast is simple but everything is fresh. Waffles, bagels, cereal, fruit, juice, pastries, toast and yogurt, etc were available. Kudos to Carolyn and BP, wonderful front desk personnel, that make it right every time. Great location and close to shopping and restaurants.

Hotel room was in need of a plumber and carpenter. Security window at front desk was indicative of the neighborhood. Disconcerting. Physical location of the hotel was poor. It was difficult finding the hotel in the dark. Lack of clearly visible signage.

This is an old property with out side entry doors and constricted parking. The room was clean and had been remodeled but plumbing was old. Had to walk around building to get to office and breakfast area. We wisely stayed on backside of motel to avoid road noise so room was reasonably quiet. They tried to improve appearance but you can do only so much with a property this old. Staff was friendly. Overpriced for the value received.

This is just another motel. It's an older motel, but the general appearance was clean. I did not make it in time for breakfast, so I can't comment on it. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Not quite up to Best Western standards I see in their newer motels. It was near the highway and across the street from Casey Jones' home.

We stayed two nights. The rooms were clean, the free breakfast was on par with other free breakfasts. The staff was pleasant, and helpful. If you're looking for a nice, clean, cheap room for a couple of nights, why pay more.

After some friction at check-in, all went well. We checked out three rooms, one with a king that we had not intended to reserve, and two with two queens. All three rooms were good, with excellent beds. One room had a trace of odor of some sort, so we rejected that one. When all was said and done, the room was great and more than served its purpose.
