Located downtown near many leisure activity locations. The property has recently been updated and the rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very accommodating and professional.

After reading some of the reviews, we were a bit nervous about this property. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel had recently went through a .renovation. It was very nice for the price that we paid. The staff was what made this place. They were very friendly and made you feel like you were in your home town. A hot breakfast was another surprise. It was very fresh and good. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend it. FYI.. We did walk to the Lucas Oil Stadium for an event. It was a longer walk, but felt very safe and stopped at a great mall, Circle Centre Mall and The District Tap for a great dinner along the way.

"Decent hotel in a poor location"

This is a very loud area. There are tracks behind the hotel with trains running all the time, interstate road noise, police and fire sirens, and a municipal heliport across the street with helicopters taking off and landing at all hours. Overall, the staff is very friendly and hotel is decent but the hallways and rooms smell strongly of cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room.

Nice hotel. 3 floors and Clean. Cold breakfast during Covid. Great rate. Hard to get on the phone the night we were coming in. Parking is main level and free. Easy I65 and I70 access. Would stay here again.

The hotel is being renovated. My door (349) did not securely lock unless I pulled it shut due to a bent doorframe. (I found this out accidentally after being there a couple days.) Hallway smoke detectors were covered in plastic and fire alarm pull was covered in painters tape. Hallway ceiling lights were hanging down. If a hotel is renovating, close down 1 floor at a time and put guests on remaining floor. Housekeeping didn't seem to exist...at all! TV didn't get most channels. Breakfast bagels tasted stale and orange juice was horrible. Common lounge area was unusable due to renovations. This is the 2nd year we've stayed at this LaQuinta and we will never stay again. We weren't satisfied with how many of our concerns were met with by the staff.

"WHAT A DUMP"

Don't go here . We just stayed for the Women's BIG10. We styed here last year and were not happy. They said they were remodeling and it would be done. Well no they are not. First the lobby all torn up, We were on the 3rd floor, we had three rooms, the floor was under repairs sheet rock dust all over everything, the smoke alarms and fire alarms were taped over and would not work in case of a fire. The rooms were redone not bad better than the prior year. Some days they cleaned your room some day no , one of the door locks didn't work very well. We called the fire warden to report the conditions as we did not feel safe. Also the lights were hanging out of the sockets, the emergency lighting laying on the floor. Oh yeah the free breakfast we went to the city market . WILL NOT STAY HERE NEXT YEAR With tax rooms are over $200. plus $38 a night for parking

"Wow what s---- h----"

We stay here last year it was bad now worst covered smoke alarms in halls covered fire alarms disconnected emergency lighting dust from spackling a over. Breakfast was terrible no place to sit for shore do not stay here. Free parking yeah 36 bucks a day. Of the 3 rooms. We had all had problems. I will write the parent company about this. Mess. We also called the fire marshal to tell about the hazards. They should be close while repairs. Are being done.

"Scam"

Booked this hotel months ago and the website and every other search says free onsite parking...scam. You get there and then get told it's 20.00. You are lucky to even find a spot. They had 12 spots. 6 on each side. The rest were covered with construction material. Walls are paper thin, the elevator is something from a scary movie...just a bad time. Once you check in, you are pretty much trapped there, because odds are you wont be able to park if you leave. When left the next day, stood at checkout desk for 15 mins and no one came, except housekeeper who didnt speak English to help me. I finally had to call the hotel, while standing there, in order to get someone to come to the desk. Never again.

"Unsafe, dirty, stains, BUGS! YUCK!"

Overall, my experience was horrible. I wasn't made aware that there was construction. I walk in & it looks horrible! I was on a time crunch and had nowhere else to go, so I stayed hoping things would be better in my room. WRONG! First of all, one of the elevators didn't work. The only elevator that worked was OLD and SMALL! It was so raggedy that it didn't even tell you what floor you were on. You just had to pray that it would take you to the right floor. It was shaking and was so small I could barely fit myself and my bag inside of it. I took three flights of stairs up and down for the rest of the evening I stayed there. Even one of the workers ... the WORKERS ... told me she was afraid of the elevator and takes stairs to do her job. The bathroom was so nasty. The tub had a light brown ring around it. I refused to use it and checked out in the same clothes I had slept in. The pillows and sheets had stains on them so my friend and I had to sleep fully clothed in hoodies and sweats. When my friend woke up from her bed, she found tiny BUGS all over the sheets! The only ice machine was down so we had to walk to Whole Foods to get ice. We tell the worker about the ice machine and he gave us a nasty attitude! He was rude my entire stay. No help whatsoever. I'm extremely disappointed because I've never had a bad experience at La Quinta but this was uncalled for. Look sat the pictures. I need a refund ASAP or I will be taking further action!
