I've booked this hotel ONLY for the free airport shuttle advertised both on the website and the booking app. There is NO SHUTTLE available and the hotel staff did not gave any explanation. The hotel staff does not speak English, which is not acceptable in an international hotel chain as Best Western. The hotel itself is well kept and the room was clean and as expected.
I stayed at the Incheon for one night while in transit. The hotel is located very close to the airport and provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Staff at reception were very welcoming and spoke good English. My room was very large with a separate area for working and relaxing. A large table to work at was provided and a sofa suite for relaxing. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Sound proofing was excellent, could not hear any of the flights. The room was very clean and very well equipped. There is a restaurant on site but also several restaurants within a ten minute walk of the hotel. I recommend the Incheon for a transit travellers.
Very clean, few restaurants around but closing quite early. It just just airport hotel but the location is very convenient, staff is very friendly, rooms and bathrooms are clean. Another good thing - it is good price.
Called hotel at 9 P.M to coordinate a airport shuttle. The hotel staff said that all the drivers had gone home for the evening and that I should have called a few days earlier to schedule the pickup (what?!). Note: I called 3 different hotels after learning a needed to find a different hotel and all of them could send a shuttle. On top of that they recommended that I should take a taxi for the 30 min. drive from the airport. I asked if this would be reimbursed by the hotel and they quickly replied no. I told them that I would like to cancel my reservation and asked for a refund...since I did not have a way to get to their hotel. I was told be the hotel to get in touch with Agoda. Agoda then blew me off and basically said they needed to get with the hotel and get back with me. They never did! I called them back and they were giving me the run around. Agoda was ZERO help and I can tell they are out to take your money along with the hotel. I will never use them again!!
Close to airport with free shuttle (runs only every 30 minutes). The rooms are typical of a mid-market hotel, pretty cheap furniture, dark bathroom, not clean enough, .... The bed is typical Asia very firm, though they provide both soft and hard pillows. I was on low floor and could hear the planes as well as noise in the hall easily. The breakfast, however, was very good with many choices. Be careful of reserving "traditional" room: this is Korean style with no chairs or desk.
DO.NOT.STAY.HERE Listen, I've been to my fair share of hotels/motels at every price point and that includes many Best Western Hotel experiences. Not only is the 'Royal' in the hotel name deceiving, it's not even up to the regular standards of this brand. If you told me this was a USD $20 box with nothing but a bed then I'd say it's fine. But there's some minimal expectations that come at approx. USD $100 per night. First, lets talk housekeeping or the lack thereof. I stayed 10 nights and only had my room cleaned 2 times!! Before you ask, OF COURSE I went to front desk to complain literally EVERY SINGLE DAY!! The 'make up room' sign and digital buttons (they had both) did nothing. I literally had a pile of towels as high as my washroom sink from going to front desk and getting fresh towels so many times. Even crazier, with my door sign saying 'do not disturb' the cleaning lady actually came into the room while I was undressed (1 of the 2 times she came to clean). Upkeep was poor. My desk was going to fall apart any moment and internet security was so bad my business laptop wouldn't connect due to unsecured internet. Korea arguably has the world's best internet so this was odd. Chair was falling apart (see pic). The in-room safe (see pic) is basically useless. It's a metal box that is NOT attached to anything so you can literally pick it up and walk away with it. The front desk staff either don't care or have heard so many complaints they can't be bothered anymore. But don't expect them to watch out for thieves or actually tell housekeeping to do their jobs. 10 other colleagues stayed here during the same time period and had the same terrible experience. We won't be back.
Stayed one night. Very clean. Nice hotel, good breakfast, and comfy. Seems new. Clean and modern decor. Lovely room, bathroom, and huge closet space! Would definitely stay here again! Just wished their staff knew some english!
Visited the hotel with friends for an evening out. Very ambient as you enter with very professional and welcoming staff. Sure was a great place to stay. The drinks section is also well stocked for any type of engagement
We stayed here on a stop over, hotel was lovely, service was wonderful. It is a little way out and shuttle bus did not go at weekend. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. Rooms very comfortable.
Stayed here as a stop over travelling back from Chuuk to the UK. It had a free shuttle bus from the airport. I'd slept through my flight meal so was hungry. A little noodle restaurant was open next door. Room service did finish at 11pm so if I hadn't eaten I would have stayed hungry. However breakfast would have made up for it! Had possibly the best breakfast I've ever had here. Hot foods, fruit, Aloe Vera juice, coffee, everything. The spicy chicken wings were delicious and the beans had chick peas in them which were also delicious. The toilet had a control panel!! Had a great nights sleep, I would recommend staying here.
Stayed at the Incheon Royal Hotel overnight as we were flying out of ICN the next day. The hotel is located in an outer part of town but accessible via subway. The nearby subway exits (Ganseogogeri) don't have elevators or escalators, so watch out if you have luggage. We stayed in room 720 which faces the back of the hotel. The room has two queen beds so can sleep four people, but there's very little space left over so you'll be stepping over each other to move around. It's still nice to be able to sleep a family as many rooms in Seoul will not accommodate 4 people. The air-conditioning in the room is very weak and struggled to cool the room below 25 °C, despite setting the thermostat lower and setting the fan to maximum. There is a lack of water pressure so the shower is does not work well. The room smelled of smoke and an air freshener was unable to mask the scent. Perhaps the smell of smoke was from a previous occupant or from the neighbouring service corridor. Two bottles of complimentary water was a nice touch, however was not enough for the four of us. There is a small convenience store nearby, and a bakery across the busy road in front of the hotel.
The room I had on the 9th floor was wonderful especially for the price that I paid for it. Was spacious and there was a good bit of furniture in the room making it easy to sit on the couch or desk. The bed was firm which isn't my preference but worked. Had a great fitness area that was great for the one night I was there. Was very impressed with the location by the subway and the service during checkin. I showed up thirty minutes before checkin but that was not an issue as they had my room paperwork already printed and only had to sign it and get my key. Was shocked to read some other reviews and it may be that it had been renovated recently or that the 9th floor was a better one. I would consider it a four star hotel.
Pro You will be able to take long hot shower. The hotel is next to the metro. Room is old but clean. Con The room is tiny w/ alot of furniture. The room thermostat doesn't work. HARD Bed, Few electrical outlets
Stuffing in the rooms and frosty at the restaurant The whole does not seem to disrupt the management of this hotel ! No action no resolve this issue during our stay . Personal at the reception nice but.......
Although claims to be a 4 star hotel, this BEST WESTERN hotel is below par of other BEST WESTERN hotels in Seoul in terms of room, service, food etc. There are a few very local type of restaurants nearby, but also on low quality side. If need an airport hotel next time, will pick another one.
It was a clean and convenient hotel near the airport. The staff was very hospitable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with Korean and western food. There are restaurants and a convenience store nearby.
Stayed there during late spring and the room, though not very spacious, but it is very clean and it made our stay very comfortable. The bed and linens are of good quality. Toiletries are provided and bathroom is clean. Will definitely stay there again. It is about 45mins to Icheon Airport.
This hotel is right behind some buildings so we are spared from traffic noises . The best thing is the subway station is just 5 mins away, and there's restaurants in the hotel vicinity . The bidet is good too i dont know that bidet could be preheated wuth the weather its actually quite nice to have a warm toilet seat, beware of the hot water though it could be very hot .
This is the best hotel in incheon. The location is one subway stop away from Incheon city hall and very closed to everything such as restaurants, subway stop, and stores. I had an over nite layover at ICN and stayed this hotel. Room Very clean and updated furnitures and bathroom. This is not like best Western chains in USA. It is more likely closed to upscale citi style morden hotel. I wish had some pictures. Location From ICN, you can take their shuttle bus or subway. It is very clearly marked direction to transfer subway at ICN. From Kimpo airport, you can take a subway with 20 mins ride. Staff They are very friendly and helpful. If you have more than one nite stay at ICN. I am highly recommend this hotel instead of staying at airport hotel. You can browse some citi life and enjoy korean culture.
First of all, the name is deceiving and you can't trust Booking or Agoda when it produces this hotel as an ICN airport hotel result. The hotel is located near Gimpo airport but is quite far from Incheon International - it's about 40 minutes by taxi early in the morning, costing about 37 000 won. The hotel only offers a free shuttle on weekdays and even then, just three times a day. This also wasn't mentioned on Booking, it was just advertised as having a free shuttle. Other the surprise of the distance and the taxi, everything was fine. The room is pretty standard but nice, clean, and comfortable. Heated toilet seats for the win! Room service is also really fast (12 minutes for food) and just a couple of minutes for other room requests. I would recommend this hotel for any traveler flying out of Gimpo but not Incheon!
Being over 1 night in Seoul, I decided to stay at this airport hotel as I had an early flight the next day. Very average room - slightly outdated. Staff though was very friendly. I had dinner at the hotel without having big expectations - again there friendly staff and my vegetarian bibimbap was quite good. Free shuttle bus available from and to the airport (5 min bus drive). Departure is twice in the early morning and late afternoon. During the day, the shuttle bus goes only every hour.
Our room was average sized. It was very quiet during our one night stay; we couldn't hear any street traffic, even though the hotel was on a busy street. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel has seen better days, but it's maintained very well, even though our room did not appear to have been vacuumed in a while. The included wi-fi was great. In fact, there was a router on the desk in the room! Didn't have any meals there, so can't rate the food.
Stayed 3 nights because the location was good for our meeting. Staff was not that good. Some were but most worked with s look on their face that showed they did not like the job. Most Could not speak english. Some did, but just refused to help the others. Gym is not for free Breakfast for western people very basic but there is a good coffee machine. Bed is hard and water temperature in the shower differs every second. Room size is ok.
if you need a bed for 1 nigth ,if you do not have much expectation ,this is the rigth place ,?t was expensive and ? was not stasfyed with the service ,room is big and clean ,but amount of the money I paid I was expecting more
I needed a hotel near the airport for the night and I got a very good price for this location. Unfortunately, I think I confused this location with the Best Western that is within walking distance from the airport. It actually takes more than an hour on the bus or the subway (I took the bus there and the subway to return), but both methods will take you close to the hotel. The room was small, but nicely decorated and the staff was friendly and helpful. For the price you don't get complimentary breakfast, but there is a 7-11 nearby for snacks.
A great little hotel which I moved to after the hotel I had been placed did not meet my expectations. The hotel was not very close to where I needed to be on business but taxis were easily available and the metro is close by. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to assist you. Room quality is good and maintained daily to a high standard. The hotel could save some money by reducing the heat in the hotel which was unbearable at times especially in the dining room at breakfast. Food choice was good but a lot of the food at the breakfast buffet was cold as covers are left off of the servers by patrons however you could order omelettes. My main frustration was that if you arrived back at the hotel after 9pm there was no food on offer and the hotel did not have a room service menu either: plus there was not a lot of restaurant choice in the area for non speaking Korean customers. As far as staying here again I would most probably decline as the beds are so hard that I found them painful and it is a pity as well that somebody chose to make the sauna and gym for men only!
