Best Western Plus CottonTree Inn

The hotel was fine, the service was fine, the pet friendly room was in dire need of upgrades. Now I say "pet friendly" rooms because that is what I booked. It did feel like the room was cared for just a little less, and truly I don't understand, considering there is a $20 per pet fee to stay here.

This is a good hotel. Welcome as a member was a nice touch. Front desk service was great. Quick check-in and checkout. Rooms have been refreshed. There is a good, basic breakfast. Location was great with quick access to highway.

I would remove the words Best and PLUS from this hotel's name. I thought I would be staying at a cheap and cheerful hotel, but it was only cheap. The location is good. The breakfast - well, I am not a fan of powdered scrambled eggs.

Check in was good. The rooms were fairly clean- the bedding was clean but pretty worn. A complaint though was the breakfast room!! Very very dirty- seats were dirty and the carpeted floor was very dirty. It made it difficult to enjoy breakfast - which was sausage eggs and good hashbrowns along with the regular cereal etc

This is a wonderful place to stay in Idaho Falls. It's conveniently located near the I-15 freeway as well as the downtown area of the city and its many attractions and activities. The room was clean and very comfortable and I felt safe staying here.

Our stay here was okay but having stayed here a couple of times I see evidence of some decline. The bench in our room had stains all over it which is kind of gross. It's doable I might choose the other Best Western down the street although I haven't stayed there in a while so can't attest to the upkeep there

Holiday travel stop, clean rooms and the pool and hot tub hit the spot. Great eats across the road from the hotel. We brought our pets, great outdoor pet area for the fury ones. Pet fees a little on the higher side if you have more that one pet.

The hotel was very clean and up to latest standards. Rooms had good space, well laid out and all the appliances were in working order. The hotel is located near several great restaurants such as Snow Eagle brew and Pub, a must try. An Outback is across the block for more standard but good fare.

Whenever in Idaho Falls, this is THE PLACE to stay! The staff are cheerfully accommodating, and always asking if there's any way to make the stay better! Located just off 2 main highways, and the Riverwalk, location couldn't be better! Nice beds, clean rooms and delicious breakfast! It feels like familyiii here!

Building, Fixtures are older. The bed was so hard that we could not sleep in it. The hotel did not feel fresh and loved. Staff was very friendly, though. Breakfast was nice, offered hot items as well as items that you could take with you.

This hotel was a game changer for our stay in Idaho Falls after the catastrophe that was our original plan. The rooms here were quite nice and roomy and we were even able to get side by side rooms at short notice for me and my family. My only complaint about the room is a minor one and it was that when I showered the water coming from the shower felt like little razor blades hitting my body. The bathroom was clean, water heated up to a nice temperature and best of all the towels were not dirty. We used the pool and hot tub and we all enjoyed the water and just relaxed. I am always surprised when I find that the hotel has stocked towels in the pool room for use and I find this a nice touch to a visit. Our breakfast in the morning was much more than expected and everyone was able to find something to suit their tastes and I especially liked the yogurt machine that dispensed out yogurt. My daughter was fascinated by the Pancake machine that cooked the pancakes in front of us, nice touch to entertain the kiddos, big and small. Thank you to Best Western Plus for being there for us when we needed a place to stay last minute. Definitely one to recommend for future visits by one and all

Great place to stay. Great pool hot tub area that is open 24hrs. Close to a lot of great dining options. Comfortable and quite room as usual. Easy in and out, parking can be a little tough with such a small parking lot for the hotels size.

With understanding that not all things can be controlled, I do believe some situations could be better handled. Due to the hotel being extremely busy, especially with kids, it appeared that the 2 running the front desk may have been the only ones working. The maintenance man was gone for the day and hot tub was unusable at all our stay. The drink station in the lobby as well as the lobby was a disaster, probably due to parents not supervising their kids. The hotel ran out of clean towels for guest to use and when we asked for blankets in order to make the unmade pullout bed, the gentleman only brought us 1 blanket, which we laid down on the mattress. It was a good thing my son brought his own blanket to sleep under or he wouldn't have had one. I have stayed here in the previous years and have never been as unsatisfied as I was this trip. I do think a lot of this could've been avoided. If the hotel is going to be that busy and/or full, having extra hands to help is absolute necessity. Having some housekeepers to help keep up on the laundry, keep the lobby and drink station clean and stocked, as well as having a maintenance person either on hand or on call to fix things as they break. Our room didn't look like it had been cleaned other than the bedding being changed on the King bed. The bathtub had hair in it and on the edge of the tub by the faucet, the shower we curtain was dirt and had boogers on it. The coffee pods were not refilled - decaf ones in the room. The foot stool was dirty and had sticky stains all over it.

The room had not been thoroughly cleaned. It also had a bad odor to it. Check out was at noon however, staff was knocking on our door before that, even though we had our do not disturb sign out. I most likely will not stay here again.

Excellent staff and value. This was just a weekend trip to see a show at the NEW Center Stage Theater in Ammon. Easy access from the Best Western to Ammon was a plus! The only negative issue was parking. My wife is in a "Walking Boot" due to a broken ankle. There was NO parking available on the first night. Second night staff blocked a space close to the door for us.That was another plus!

Our stay at BW Cottontree was great. Easy access from the interstate, conveniently located across from Jaker's for a good meal, clean room and quiet location. The staff are very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety.

I love this place its the only place i stay when in Idaho Falls! Great Staff Clean rooms and the Breakfast is great. The pool looks real nice but i have yet to use it. The rooms are always very nice and the desk is comfortable for doing my work. Beds are always warm and cozy

This was a great place to stay with the family and pets! Very clean kept! They have an indoor pool that was heated to 86 (still too cold for me) but the kids enjoyed it. They also have a hot tub! Will be staying again!

The staff are very professional, respectful and accommodating. Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable.Hotel is in good location of town. I would highly recommend to others to stay in your hotel. You deserve the rate of 5 Star!

Clean quit and affordable. When I pay for a hotel and have to buy breakfast for my family it gets pricey. Best western offers a great breakfast and every location is always clean and friendly. Best westerns are the best!!!!

The staff at check-in were welcoming and genuinely seemed interested in my reason for travel and where I was from. Upon my departure in the morning, I experienced the same friendly care. The room was clean and we'll maintained.

This hotel is an up-to-date facility that is nested in the trees along the Snake River. It was a peaceful place to be, and I was comfortable throughout my stay. My rest here was good and refreshing, and allowed me to enjoy the next leg of my journey into Montana.

We had just flown in to Salt Lake City after more than 20 hours of international travel. We wanted to get a few hours north before resting. This property was perfect. Had a quiet room on the 3rd floor, appreciated that there was a sheet between the comforter and the bed, heater/air conditioner were quiet, room temp great. Mattress soft but not too soft. Decent pillows. Slept really well. Up early and appreciated the variety at the well-attended breakfast room. All for a very reasonable price as compared to other area chain hotels.

Good Room , virtually no problem stay! Decent , breakfast - Only problem was the Parking lot was really dark at around 6:30 AM when we left , it was lit when we put stuff in car at around 5:30 , not sure if the blew a fuse , or their timer was off! Overall good night ..

Quiet environment. Professional staff. Superb breakfast. Clean rooms. Clean and cozy lobby/common areas. The room temperature was set to a perfect temperature. Comfy bed. Super clean room. Set up perfectly. Best Best Western hotel I've ever stayed at.

This is and will always be my go to hotel in Idaho Falls. Staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is always hot and the options are great. Lobby is beautiful and well kept . I did not use the pool but it is clean and well maintained. Business center is great

The Best Western staff are friendly and accommodating. They made sure our room was set up the way we needed for us to scrapbook for the week. The breakfast is the best I have seen at many hotels. The rooms are clean.

Room was dirty. Fridge leaked and there was brown water stains and mold behind fridge and food. Heavy white dust on top of fridge. Dirty under fold out bed. Room needs through cleaning and repair work.

The hotel is in an excellent location close to the Snake River. In addition, nearby there are several good restaurants. All in all we were very happy with our stay here in Idaho Falls and would recommend this BW.

It's close to the airport. Nice big, very clean room. After two years of having hit or miss toiletries not only were they all there but were nice quality. First place to have an extra blanket too. Will be staying here again when in the area.

Very nice BW. Everything was clean. Beautiful lobby and sitting area. Our breakfast was very good and definitely not just a muffin and juice. They served a full breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

Staff was rude at check in. The clerk said she was not allowed to give Diamond level upgrades. I spoke with the desk manager at check out. She just gave excuses, but did nothing. In addition, the TV did not work in the room I was assigned.

We stayed here two nights during a seven day road trip. The hotel is located near the beautiful river walk, and it is very clean. We arrived early and the clerk arranged to have our room ready before the normal check in time, which we very much appreciated. The hotel was quiet, and everything (TV, lights, heat, wifi) worked well. The only warning for others is that the entrance at the end (which is near the pet rooms) is also the smoking area. When we unpacked the car using this entrance, it must have been break time because there were several people who appeared to be staff, standing outside but right at the door, enjoying a smoke break. They were having a great time and were oblivious to our presence, so I politely explained that I have asthma and asked them to move away from the door. They apologized and quickly moved. There were several other times when smoking staff and guests were standing close to the door as we entered and exited. This is not an anti-smoking rant...we could have chosen a different door to use for entering and exiting. It's just an observation I wanted to share for any others that are sensitive to smoke. We would probably stay here again if we are in Idaho Falls.

The CottonTree Inn was the perfect location for a recent family gathering. Even though the hotel was probably a bit older, you could tell that the rooms had been recently updated and were very clean. When there was a problem with the toilet in our room that couldn't be immediately fixed, we were moved to another room on the same floor right away. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room was very nice, and the selections were adequate. The person working in the breakfast room was very entertaining and added to the enjoyment of the stay. The pool was much larger than most hotel pools. The hotel was also very close to the River Walk so access to it was easy. I would gladly stay at the CottonTree Inn again.

I don't expect hotel rooms to be perfect but there was still hair in the shower and orange mold around the surround. The room was halfway clean. The hotel is older. The front desk clerk was very friendly. I have stayed at both Best Western's in Idaho Falls and I would not recommend this one.

The Tyrolean Lodge is an attractive, comfortable, and nicely maintained property, conveniently located just a few blocks from Main Street. It is over-priced for value received but probably comparable in the costly Sun Valley market. Although the wi-fi was weak and the room stayed quite warm overnight the room itself was very comfortable, the bed soft, towels and covers clean and fluffy, etc. Recommend it.

Driving 12 hours we booked at BW because we are Platinum members. Waited 15 minutes at front desk, no one around. Exhausted, we hauled all of our stuff to our room which appeared to be clean. Changed into night clothes, turned up lights and noticed dog food, hair, and a petrified turd in the corner. $200 room and received a $20 discount. Disgusting....I would recommend the Hilton or Marriott.

Love this place. It is clean and well kept. It offers a free breakfast. The hotel is quiet and we were next to a street. The staff are friendly and willing to help you if you need it. The pool and hot tub were open, but mostly empty.

OK, this is a BW and not a Four Seasons, so all anyone wants is a clean, comfortable place to sleep - failed on both counts. The room was clean, that's the best than can be said. Exterior/interior old, outdated, dirty. We parked in handicapped area where the curb/sidewalk concrete was crumbling and someone tried to make poor repairs - loose rocks/concrete in parking space and on sidewalk, which we had to clear away to walks safely to the door. Interior carpeting in the hallway filthy and looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in a week. Furnishings horribly outdated and depressing. Total lack of concern for COVID protocols especially in breakfast room where the attendant wore no mask, was constantly coughing into her hands, then immediately touching utensils, food, cups, etc. Add to that poor selection of breakfast choices, even by BW standards. We'll never stay here again.

I wasn't surprised to overhear that only 24 of their nearly 100 rooms were occupied the night we stayed there. Nice indoor pool and hot tub, but the bottom of the pool was either filthy or in desperate need of repair/painting. We stayed out of it even though it was not being used by other guest. Room was clean, but the hallway leading to it was filthy, worn out with stained carpet and banged up walls/doors. The view out of our room was of the untended bushes growing to cover the entire window. Breakfast was OK, and the two ladies working it were nice, but I'd rather they would leave me alone until I was awake. Not too sure how old some of the ingredients were in their fridge. We won't stay there again, and may stop staying at any Best Westerns after this experience with their over pricing.

I love to stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious and the swimming pool and hot tub are really nice. It's near the Snake River and we're able to walk along the river. It's also located near many restaurants and stores. We'll be staying here again.

Overpriced given location and horrifying noncompliance with COVID best practices. Delta variant is now dominant strain in US and can be spread by both vaccinated and unvaccinated. Pros: nicely furnished and clean, pool looked great. Staff were very very nice. Cons: Denny's and Highway both a stone's throw away from hotel. Front desk person came into our room to check on something with no mask. Didn't bring a mask or offer to put one on. We have two kids who are too young to be vaccinated. Not a single person wore a mask in the hotel, including in the crowded breakfast room where people were coughing. No signs advising mask use for the unvaccinated. 1.5 year into this pandemic and I very much hope my family didn't just get COVID due to our stay at this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff is exceptionally nice. Breakfast is decent. Great easy access from freeway. Gas station across the street along with a good restaurant, Jakers. Would stay here again.

We had an unexpected four day stay in Idaho Falls and this hotel made our long stay better. It was clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice and responsive to our requests. Our car broke down and the hotel manager was so nice and accommodating with the changes in our stay. The hotel was walking distance to the Snake River and park and had lots of food choices in the area. Even though it is close to the freeway and river, we couldn't hear any noise from either. The breakfast was decent and saved us some money during our stay.

We traveled 1600 miles and stayed in 4 different Hotels. Idaho Falls Best Western Plus was by far the most disappointing. There way better options in the area. I would never stay here again. It was dirty and linens were bascially worn out.

Family and I stayed here after booking on Priceline at a discounted rate. The location is nice as you can walk down next to the river into downtown. The room was clean and the pool was acceptable. Breakfast was good and offered many options. The issue that we had with this place is that we often look and book places because of the hot tub option. After being in the car all day, to have a drink and then sit in the hot tub is always very welcoming. The issue is, this hot tub was clearly way way too hot and not useable. We reported to the desk and the staff member almost gave a scripted response like she has said it many times before. "Our staff members have checked the water and it is within safe temp ranges..." Being in many hot tubs in our travels and owning one my own for a while, I knew for a fact the water was way too hot and unsafe for really anyone. I went and measured the water myself to see it register at around 111 degrees!!! I tried reacing out to Best Western myself for some type of compensation (booking the place for the use of a tub that was unable to be used) and there was no effort to correct the situation. If booking because you are looking for a hot tub to end your day, do not stay here.

Interesting that 2 separate Best Westerns within a short distance of each other in a relatively small town. This one was a little north of the other in a more industrial area. However, it was very close to 2 very nice places to eat, Jaker's and Bees Knees. Easy walking distance. Stayed 3 night and rate was great.

We came in after traveling 12 hours with our cats. Check-in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable.Everything was perfect except the upstairs guests who stomped around until midnight and began again at 6 A.M. I don't blame Best Western for that. No amount of insulation could have helped. But I would like to remind everyone that people do like to sleep at hotels, so it would be good to step a little softly when you are above the ground floor. The breakfast room was clean and bright and breakfast was good. Other than the upstairs stomping, it was a pleasant stay.

I understand being sold out and having full parking. But they allowed 6 trucks with trailers to park instead of making them park across the street. One truck took up 7 spots. I was told I need to park across the street and cross a busy road with my infant daughter and bulldog by myself at night. I called to ask if I could park behind a motorcycle under the covered . I was told I'd be towed even though I'm not blocking because it's meant for emergency vehicles (note the curb is not painted). I told the front desk I can't park there or anywhere else they are full. She made a rude unprofessional comment I should have been here earlier if parking would be a “big deal”. (I checked in at 3 pm and went to dinner with family) They won't tow someone taking 7 spots but would tow me for parking against an unpainted curb just to get my baby and dog in our rooms. If I knew I'd be treated like this I would have never booked here but promise I will never book her in the further.

Ageing hotel. But well maintained. They missed cleaning our room, but I'm sure that they were short staffed as everywhere else we had been. The breakfast area was very clean and well organized. Food was just average.

Overall, a nice place to stay. Minor problems with a noisy fridge and kids above us running around. Breakfast was served sit-down in the dining room with no "to-go" option to be found, so we had to skip it for safety reasons.

We enjoyed our stay so much (mom, grandma and three kids). We had a suite with two beds in one room and a fold out sofa bed in the other. The fold out was so comfortable for our teenager, unlike any fold out sofa I've seen. Breakfast was great.

Not only was this hotel extremely clean and had gorgeous decor...but their customer service is hands down the best we have had with being out of town! Liz at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and even asked our toddler if there was anything he needed! She even brought him color crayons the next day since my husband took the car to work! We will definitely be back and enjoyed our visit!

I feel cheated. I was excited to once again get the fabulous breakfast BW is known for. Instead...waffles and cereal, that was all. The beds were comfortable, the pool and hot tub were open. There is a Dennys next door

The Cottontree Inn was a good choice for a one night stay. It's conveniently located just off I-15. The room was clean and ready upon arrival. Breakfast was a surprise. Their breakfast room was open and they were serving omelettes, sausage and tater tots... first BW hotel that we've visited during COVID-19 that's doing more than Grab N Go.

I loved the perfectly supportive-ly Firm, king size mattress, just right! Yes, this Best Western is right off a Freeway off-ramp, but at night, the auto noise just didnt seem noisy to affect me. And sleeping is important to me. Our king bed room was very large. Great long bath, instant hot water. Good breakfast with waffles. Beautiful decor, very modern. Beautiful pool. Great value for the money especially for a spoiled Californian.

The front desk people were very nice and so helpful. After we checked in, the lady at the desk told us how to get to their beautiful falls. I gave this facility 5 stars because they really tried. I've travelled a lot over the past two months and have found that some hotels have really skimped on the amenities, such as having a real breakfast and even keeping their pool open. This facility had sausage, eggs, and breakfast potatoes that were handed over on a plate by a pleasant young lady who was working in the breakfast room. They had fruits and muffins. You could help yourself to coffee and the waffle maker. They had a very large hot tub which had a good temperature. The pool looked a bit worn around the edges (maybe painting is in the near future?), but it was large and a had a comfortable temperature. The room itself had a couch, which a lot of rooms don't have. The carpeting was attractive. I loved having a sink that was separate from the bathroom. As far as location goes, this place has most everything you could possibly need within a short walking or driving distance. It has gas stations, restaurants, a beautiful place to walk along the Snake River (a must do)!, and Walmart (which we needed). I'd definitely stay there again when in a Idaho Falls.

I had a little mix up when booking the hotel but the manager was able to fix and get me checked in a little early. It was hot and I had been riding all day so I was very appreciative. Very nice hotel with comfortable bed. Hotel was quiet and provided a great nights sleep.

I would agree with other reviews on the above average noise level coming form slamming doors and hall way chatter. Room did have a light pet odor but it was a pet room. Unfortunately the shower in room 133 would not turn on when we went to take our morning showers. My husband and I both tried multiple times-up, down, in, out, left, right- not a drop. We chose to throw in the towel and check out. Giving the current COVID situation and that we were traveling with dogs I was not going to hassle with switching rooms or having a maintenance person come in. I did stop at the front desk and got a “wish you would have called” and “all you had to do was pull it away from the wall”. I'm sorry but that shower was not coming on and a call to the desk was not going to fix it. It should not take a secret maneuver to operate a shower!!!  I had to ask for some sort of compensation as it was apparent they were not going to make any attempt at customer retention. I was offered $10 discount on the night. I kind of feel like the inconvenience of not having a shower is worth more on a $149.99 rate? I emailed the GM 10 days ago and have yet to hear back from him! I also never received a final bill so I have no clue if the $10 credit was applied. We had multiple hotel options to choose from that night but chose this location because we normally stop at a BW Cottontree Inn in Salt Lake. Albeit they have working showers... 

If you research the COVID-19 polices of hotels to find the one that best suits what you want this one didn't cut it. I will post the policy later. The hotel was full the night before so our room wasn't ready. Then they didn't pay attention to our comment about needing an extra towel. The room wasn't very clean and we noticed a piece of clothing under the bench across from the bed that wasn't ours. I seriously doubt our room was sanitized prior to our arrival. The bathtub drain was very slow in draining when taking a shower, it puddled up in the tub. The breakfast room was crowded and unorganized. No one know where to go or what to do and no one to ask. All in all not a good experience. Some guest were wearing masks as required and others weren't. To follow is what I read that made me feel they had caring for our best interest in mind, but it wasn't followed: Guest Room and Housekeeping: Enhanced and thorough cleaning protocols will be implemented in guest rooms. If possible, guest rooms will not be entered for 24 to 72 hours after check-out, at which time the room, linens and all touch points, for example, faucets, door handles, light switches, thermostats, clocks and hangers will be cleaned with chemicals aimed at killing COVID-19. Unnecessary items will be removed from guest rooms, such as decorative pillows, bed scarves, paper notepads and pens. For guest and employee safety and well-being, daily housekeeping service will be by request.

Nice hotel in a nice location. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Nicely located along the river front and path. A variety of dining is within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent property to stay at, clean, comfortable and super friendly staff both at check in and check out. The rooms were quite nice and modern, good beds, chairs and couch that made the stay extremely pleasant

Hotel room was fabulous...spacious, nicely decorated. Check-in desk was friendly and efficient. Good breakfast, mix of hot and cold items. Restaurants within walking distance. Fast WiFi, pool looked super..we did not use.

Room was very comfortable. Staff were willing to do what ever was needed to make our stay great. Very happy with everything including the hot breakfast. We had our little dog and we were in a room very close to an exit/entrance to make it handy for taking the little guy out to do his business.

Heather, the supervisor called me asking if I had left a tablet (iPad) in our room the night before. By the time she called,we were past Salt Lake City on our way to Phoenix. Tina, the housekeeper had turned it in. The iPad was packed/padded up and sent express carrier post and I got it undamaged 2 days later. Thank you, Tina and Heather. It is service like this that brings customers back.

Had a great weekend spent with my kiddos and for my birthday. The staff was pretty amazing!!! The pool and hot tub made my kiddos happy. The breakfast I loved how they had a different selection both days instead of having to have the same thing both days. Overall had a great weeekend.

Overall stay was fine other than too high of beds for a wheelchair user. Consider this problem if you are a wheelchair user. I am a paraplegic traveling alone and it took me at least fifteen minutes to get from my wheelchair into the bed.

We were put in the same room as the earlier reviewer. Noise from hallways and room above until 2 am. Breakfast is right outside our door and you could hear a lot. My wife asked the person at the desk around 1 am if there was anything could be done about the noise. She said "Well, they're in the hallway." Just didn't feel good about the stay at all and was ready to leave 1st thing.

This hotel looked really good on the website, but we were a bit disappointed. It is modern and comfortable but for the price, we expected more. The room was quite small and the hotel could not provide a rollaway bed. I would have liked to see more of an effort to be environmentally sustainable with reusable products instead of the small, disposable plastic toiletry kits and the coffee maker which uses pods. And all the disposable plates and cutlery at breakfast! The breakfast was quite good, certainly enough food to keep us going. The best thing about the hotel was the big indoor pool and spa which we loved.

We have stayed on two separate occasions, will not stay again. The location is good, but Not very clean in common areas and the room linens Were very suspicious( not sure they were changed or laundered well)

Service was great, room was clean and comfy, breakfast was awesome! We didn't use the pool this time but we have in the past and the kids loved it. The breakfast staff was super accommodating to my kids dietary needs of gluten/dairy free options. With plenty of fresh options for my husbands low carb diet.

We had recently stayed in a Best Western Plus in Ballard, Utah and planned on having the same great experience in Idaho Falls. We checked in during the middle of the week and we were given a room on a main floor. I requested a double queen and we were given a handicapped room with a king bed. It was the most mis-matched room I've ever been in. We went to bed and at 6:00 am, we woke up to the management door slamming every 5 minutes next to our room. They serve breakfast starting at 6:30 so there were also people talking right outside our room as they were getting breakfast. We were also next to the laundry so there was a loud hum from the dryers. The next night we got to the hotel late. The hotel rents to companies with big vehicles that park sideways across many parking stalls so they can plug into outlets to keep their vehicles warm. There was not anywhere to park close to the building and we had to take the very last spot in the back of the lot. I'm not sure what makes this a BW ‘plus', but we will definitely go down the road a pay a bit more for a better stay.

The room was great, fast and easy to get to. Close to anything you need or want to do. Amazing staff, real good breakfast, clean and neat room, pool and fitness room are always available. The parking is close and easy to park my big truck.

Easy access off of #15, Very comfortable, quiet and new beds, TV access, internet and pool/fitness center open 24 hours. Super people working there, great parking and restaurants close by. Highly recommended for any person, family or touring group. Best value and night experience that I have experienced.

After a long travel date it was great to check into such a clean and spacious room. Staff took the time to call local restaurants to inquire about availability for dinner which was very much appreciated.

I was in Idaho Falls for my nefew's wedding. I love the location of the Cotton Tree Inn, in Idaho Falls. Very easy to get too. I didn't use it ,this stay, but myself and my daughter enjoy the 24 hour pool.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to downtown and a great walking path. Hotel was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Nice hot breakfast with cheese omlets and tasty potatoes. Room was spacious and clean.

Traveling for business and this hotel met and exceeded my expectations. Everything you can possibly need. Staff went out of their way to make it an easy and enjoyable experience. Would definitely stay here again.

we most often stay at this location during our travels north & south. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. there are several good restaurants close by within walking distance. The location is easy to access off I-15 and there are gas stations right across the street as well.

Always enjoy my stay at the Cottontree Inn , the staff are always helpful and the pool and hot tub are open 24/7 which is a bonus when you are arriving later in the evening. Property is close to restaurants and to the I-15 , makes for an easy get away in the morning. I have stayed here at least 6 times over the last 5 years on my road trip's .

The bed was lumpy and the sheets are very thin. Room had a funky order in it, like it had been smoked in and they tried to cover it up. Not what we were expecting by reading previous reviews. Friendly staff and an alright location. Lots of restaurants close by.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Not too fancy, nice beds and pillows, the room is as expected but most importantly it looked and smelled clean. The breakfast was just right, the layout good, stocks of things fine, the right sort of food.

Friendly staff offer a personal touch to service. Breakfast selections exceed the usual. Parking can be tight for large vehicles and there is a frig but no microwave in the room. The room is otherwise well appointed and designed. I have stayed in the past and always look forward to return visits. Aiport transportaion is available.

The BW Cottontree was perfectly located for our reunion trip. It was centrally located, easy access and a very nice property. Good selection for the hot breakfast. We would stay here again when in town.

Always stay here when we are in town overnight .Come for appointments and supplies . We tell our friends to stay here. You can walk to restaurants for dinner. Large Walmart nearby. Easy on and off freeway .

I love the people that work for BW CT in Idaho Falls very tenative/ Only thing I have to say that would be a negative. For a business traveler I can get better rates through Expedia, Hot Wire. Etc... I should not have to use these sites to get a exceptional rate of $60, $70, $80. I am a business professional and I can understand the ability to obtain higher prices based on seasons i.e. Summer with Tetons, Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone... Those are great profit growing seasons, what about us business guys/girls that buy 60+ Room nights a year. We are the 80% profitability within the lodging industry.. Our company cannot afford to pay a premium "on season" rate.

Location is great. Right by the river/hydroelectric dam. Lots of trails to walk and good restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the Saturday market across the river within walking distance. Staff very helpful with some requests I had.

This hotel is a great place to stay.. Our room was a double queen family suite with living room.. huge! Bathroom had plenty of counter space to spread things out... very clean, lighting was good too. The staff warned us there was a tour bus due in later that night and to we should probably not come down to breakfast until after 7am... they were right, but was gone by then so no problems with seating... Nice being so close to the river...Don't forget to try the Idaho Falls Greenbelt trail near there...

Cobwebs in hallways around lights. Fail. Room smelled like old and musty. Or ?? Fail. Had booked in for 3 nights. Cancelled 2 before first night was over. Cancellation was not implemented when we called in. Fail. Pool (not used) is adjacent check in desk. Creepy. Hotel is across road from trucking company's warehouses and fuel stops. The first sign you see at hotel front desk : If you are not a registered guest you will be asked to leave pool. Fail/Creepy. Not sure where the positive reviews are coming from on TripAdvisor.

Loved being greeted at the front desk with cold water and warm cookies after 400 miles on the road. The bed was excellent, check in super speedy, rooms clean, bed comfy, internet easy and fast. Only wish we had known it was located on the river so we could have requested a room with a river view. Will plan to stay here again next year! And next year I'm definitely trying that huge pool!

I was really excited to stay in this hotel because it had great reviews, but i was disappointed in how noisy the hotel was in the mornings. We stayed for two nights, and I was hopeful after all the Yellowstone tourists left on Saturday morning, the door slamming, rolling suitcases, and foot stomping would be less on Sunday morning. However, you can just hear everything from every corner of the hotel, and it woke me up at 6 am both days. Some earplugs and a noise machine helped. Breakfast was meh, which was also disappointing because I normally love continental breakfasts.

The stay at this property had very horrible customer service. They had it out for the girls team we brought from day 1. They followed our girls to their rooms after our girls just walked up the stairs to their room. In all my travels to hotels with softball teams I have never seen this type of treatment. They advertise a 24 hour pool and yet then try to kick you out of it. The hotel was fine but the service was not.

Quick check-in/check-out. The front desk staff were polite and professional. The hotel itself was clean, modern with a pleasant decor. The breakfast was disappointing. Insufficient replenishment, no breakfast staff to be seen and very little in selection. Stay for the hotel, leave for the breakfast. Overall it is a great place to stay if you are passing through, a side from the "free breakfast".

I like to stay at a Best Western Plus because of the awesome breakfasts. The food was good, but too small of a room - went on a 6 mile walk came back and still had to wait. The rooms were clean, but somewhat over priced for elite members. Great location though.

First, the front desk staff members are very friendly and helpful. no complaints there. We had a pet friendly room, first floor, so my comments may or may not be representative of the other rooms. We only stayed one night as we were traveling through town. The mattress in our room was worn out and bounced like a trampoline. The bed pillows also needed to be replaced. We found a large wad of black dog hair on the floor when we arrived. I notified the front desk about the dog hair and they said they would let Housekeeping know. It did make me wonder if the floor had been cleaned. Bath towels were nice and toiletries good. The hallways and building exterior need some updating and freshening up. We didn't stay for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Our dog-friendly room cost $157 with a AAA discount, which we felt was overpriced. If back in this area, we would try out another hotel.

The staff was super cool right from the time we checked all the way till we checked out. Much appreciated. Hotel was one block from the walking path next to the river. It did sprinkle some while we were walking but the view next to the river was quite nice. Room was really quiet, as was the hotel. Breakfast was really good but extremely busy as a tour bus was eating and getting ready to leave. I would stay here in a heartbeat if I am every back in Idaho Falls.

Very nice place well furnished and accessible the accessible room met the expectations of a person who just had knee surgery and is extremely hard to bend right now the bed was high enough to get in and out of easily

Very nice place. We stayed in a few other cheaper places on this trip and got what we paid for!! This place was super clean, super comfortable and the staff was great. We joined their rewards program b/c if this is what Best Western's are all like I don't want to stay in less or more expensive places.

Stayed over night and was really good hotel, restaurants within walking distance. Denny's right there and Apple bees just down the street. Room was great and bed very comfortable, plus a huge in room fridge with great Tv selection. I would stay again for sure.

We stayed here several years ago while the hotel was going through renovations. We thought it was good then and it still is. Nice rooms, comfortable bed, nice breakfast room. It also has laundry room and business centre. Staff are great. Can't say enough about it and Jakers restaurant across the road.

Great room. Travelled with our dog and room was close to entrance for goggles trips to the grassy knoll!! Breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff were very friendly. All in all it was just what we needed! Will see you next time thru.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had our dog with us and stayed in the pet friendly room. It was nice as the floors were all hard wood so there were no smells from past pets! We will for sure stay here again!

The price is OK, but a hotel that doesn't even have towels....pretty disappointing. We were in an adjoining room next to people who partied until 1:30 or so in the morning, had our son with us, very explicit conversations that you could hear like you were in the same room, called the front desk twice and nothing was done about it.

The rooms are modern and clean, the tub is small, the bed has down comforter and pillows. Mini fridge and coffee. Breakfast was as expected with choices and clean. Pool open 24/7 but main pool floor looked brown and gross.

Great check in service, super room, very quiet and windows that actually open. Hooray. Breakfast was super.Sausages to die for.Only issue which we reported to management that when the heat came on it rattled (room 112). Did not need it at night as we like a cool room.

Overall, I've always had a great experience with my stay and the staff at this location. Generally a pretty busy location, but service is never compromised. Easy check-in and out. Breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel.

This hotel is like a home away from home. They are attentive and the hotel is spotless. Always enjoy my stay and feel comfortable traveling there alone. The hotel has been remodeled within the last few years and they are constantly working on updates and maintenance. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. They treat you like family.

My stay was good. The hotel is clean. The pool was wonderful. My grandkids enjoyed it! I used the fitness center and the treadmill was in good working order. Breakfast was fine. Hotel breakfasts aren't the best but it filled the belly.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was as expected but I found the bed uncomfortable. Definitely in need of replacement. Breakfast was totally uninspiring. Fresh bread for toast would be better than the hot items which were tasteless and just empty calories.

Found everything about this Best Western top notch. Easy to find off of the Interstate 15. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable bed and room. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Being a Best Western member definitely has its rewards. We received an additional discount because of it!

A great hotel, staff are outstanding. Great sleep and an extremely quiet hotel. Will definitely stay again. My only complaint was the breakfast, overall it looked great but we had an early start and were in the breakfast room at 6:00 am. The omelets, biscuits and gravy were all cold and dried out. Obviously made the day before or sometime in the middle of the night. The were in crock-pot type of warming vessels and I guess if you are in the breakfast room after 7:00 or so, they would have been warmed up by then. But they were cold. The rest of the breakfast, cereals, etc were good.

We just wanted a quick weekend getaway and so we booked online because of the low price. The room was really nice, the breakfast was great and the 24 hour pool was awesome! I will definitely stay there again.

Passing through enroute to Arizona. Great welcome from the front desk agent who got us all settled in, gave us info about restaurants close by plus all the amenities of this hotel. Our king room was spacious and comfortable. Early morning complimentary breakfast was very good. Would certainly stay here again.

This Hotel has been completely remodeled and is very nice, the rooms are updated and clean, large and well appointed. Close to highway and restaurants, indoor pool and work out facility. Good breakfast. Stayed on the third floor and was quite and nice

We spent one night in the Hotel as part of the Tours4fun tour and found the Hotel very nice. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was good and would definitely come again to stay. The room had all the necessary amenities.

Stayed here to visit family in the area. This place is very clean. I stayed in a suite. It was well worth the upgrade. Workers were friendly. The only downside was that the beds were not comfortable. Mattress was hard.

I stay here at the least once a month and for about three to four days at a time. This has been a great hotel, and staff. They always make me feel welcome. Breakfast is good. Rooms are always nice. In all my visits I haven't had a bad visit.

We have stayed here before on our trips south. On this trip I made the mistake of booking on Booking.com. Never again. I had put wrong date and cancelled within five minutes. I was told it was non refundable. I called the hotel and their agent helped me fix it by changing date to our return trip. When we checked out the agent helped make reservations for our next stop. I have always found their staff to be friendly and very helpful

The hotel is just next to the interstate 15 which make road trip easy. They have large indoor pool and gym which open 24 hours with room key access. The room is nice and new with lots of plugs. The breakfast has a lot of cold and hot item. And the best is the breakfast serve free and service long time until 10 AM. Staff are all friendly.

We have been travelling travel through Idaho Falls for the past 5 yrs about 6 times per year. And we travel with pets. We book online and check in is easy. The pet friendly rooms have laminate rather than carpet and it makes such a difference. The rooms smell clean - no leftover doggie smells and no carpet cleaning residue... just a pleasant, fresh linen smell. And I don't have to stress should my messy eating dogs slurp their water or drop a kibble or two. Every hotel offering pet friendly rooms should follow their lead. And the beds are just so comfortable. When we have managed to crawl out of bed in time to catch the breakfast, it doesn't disappoint. There is enough selection to suit just about everyone. The hotel is quiet, there's always plenty of parking near your assigned room, great restaurants within walking distance and the scenic pathway leading to the Falls is only steps away. I really trust the Best Western brand based on my 20+ stays in just this location. Highly recommend this hotel when travelling through Idaho Falls.

I would give this hotel five stars except that I reserve that for the ultra-expensive hotels that offer unbelievable luxury and services such as a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. But for a mid-price hotel such as a Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, Holiday Express or Best Western, I give this hotel a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. I am a BW Diamond Member that stays in BW hotels maybe 40 nights a year, and this is definitely one of their finer properties! It has ALL the facilities and amenities you expect. And is super-clean, quiet, safe, comfortable. Front-desk staff all VERY nice and VERY helpful. I'LL BE BACK!!!!!

I had booked this hotel on Hotels.com two hours before my elderly parents "one just recently undergoing open heart surgery" arrived not knowing exactly how long they could drive each day. Upon arrival they were told that they did not have a reservation. Even after giving the hotel the reservation number and receipt showing that the room had been paid for in full the clerk said he could not check them in unless they repaid for the room. Also on line the pet fee was $15 the clerk said their fee was $28. After I contacted customer service and they faxed over the reservation my parents were allowed to check in. I'm not sure of the who's mix up it was but this was not acceptable.

Best Western cotton tree in a very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean and the people at the front desk very friendly. I went swimming in the pool and the hot tub and it's very clean. Also the breakfast in the morning is very nice I would deftly recommend this hotel

Pet friendly hotel with nice room and good breakfast. We had the two queens bedroom and the duvets are made to be washed between each use. Hard surface smooth flooring was very clean. Room was quiet and roomy. Extra charge for pets but not outrageous. Good restaurant across the street Jakers.

Very comfortable room and bed. We had Standard King room with a sofa bed in it. Great set up: Sink outside bathroom; good mirrors and lighting; lots of outlets; refrigerator; blow dryer; iron; table; chairs, desk; good internet and cable; dresser; long bench to put stuff or sit; coffee in room; gym; pool; and more. Great complimentary breakfast variety and food. Nice indoor pool. I would stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my boyfriend. Unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday when most things are closed in town. We chose this hotel to be close to the airport which it was. Included breakfast and wifi were decent. There was an indoor pool and a small fitness center we didnt use. The room was fine. I wish the hotel was more knowledgeable about things to do in the area as so much was closed. We got excited about a drive in movie theater from the in room book but it needed to updated as it was permanently closed. All in all a decent hotel.

There were many positives to this hotel - yet a few negatives as well. Initially the updated feel seems very nice - but unfortunately we noticed a significant number of opportunity areas for improvement. First of all our room did not feel very clean. Our bedding was haphazard & falling apart. The bathroom had stains in the corners and all over the shower curtain. But - the towels were plentiful & soft. The pillows on the bed were perfect - yet the bed was uncomfortable. The staff at check in were great. They were both friendly & happily answered questions. I think with a little extra work - this could be a 5 star hotel - especially given the great staff & location.

This is a recently upgraded hotel 100 yds from the Snake river. In peaceful surroundings and with attentive, friendly staff, it is a strategically located stop on the way to Yellowstone or Jackson Hole. The river walk takes you to the falls on the Snake river that gives the city its name. Good restaurants and breweries as well as the center of Idaho Falls are also within walking distance.

This Best Western when we arrived to check in had the Fire Department there with an evacuation because of a Short or Evaporation in the Wires in the Computer. The Bathroom sink is outside the Bathroom, and the Bathroom was Tiny! The Ceiling Light above a Bench in the Sleeping Area just in front of the Foot of the Bed was Shorted out and would not fully shut down with a Switch but Flickered all night Long. Room was a Std. King with Sofa, $169.99 without Taxes, and was pricey because of the end of the Summer Season but as I traveled on with my 3 Week Trip I seen a whole lot of Price Gouging!

I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds and great service! The hot tub was clean, good size and about 104 degrees, some places have tubs at 99 degrees which just is not the same.

As we were heading back to Boise (from Yellowstone), we wanted a place to rest and a chance to see the area. We spent 2 nights here which worked out well as we were able to drive to the nearby River Walk and see the falls! They were well worth the extra night we stayed! BTW, the place was clean and the service was good.

It was clean, accommodating and the staff that was kind and gracious. I did feel it could use a few upgrades. We also had to wait until three to check in. We were very tired from a long trip, and had to kill about an hour.

24 hour pool was a bonus! Very nice after a long drive and helped the kids to unwind even at 10pm. Room was comfy and 2 queens and a sofa bed easily fit the 5 of us. Was disappointed there was no microwave, however. Breakfast was great! Kids loved waffles, sausage, and fruit/whipped cream.

Walked in hoping for a room and we were not dissapointed. Our second Best Western Plus in 2 days. We were so impressed we have joined their rewards programme. When you add in the complimentary coffee (with hot water for tea available); the free breakfast it knocks spots off the budget hotels round here.

We stay here when we are in town overnight . This trip was combined with family and business for us . We go to the falls for supplies as we live 100 miles from a city where we can buy what we need or have dentist appointments. Liz and the rest of the Staff go out of their way to help and make us feel welcome.

My family and I were on a tour with the main attraction heading to Yellowstone National Park. One the way we stop at Idaho falls. Spent the night at this Best Western, good clean room with a nice free breakfast.

This hotel is very conveniently located from the I-15. The Snake River is right behind the hotel and is a quick 2 min walk. The check in/out staff was extremely friendly and quick. The internet was slow, but served its purpose. The beds were hard and the bathroom door did not lock, but the room was clean. Breakfast was the worst. I would eat somewhere else. The countertops, tables and floors were dirty. The breakfast staff filled the warmers up so full, the lids did not close and everything was cold. The eggs were burned and sausage was overcooked and rubbery. The hot chocolate tasted like water. There were no gluten free options. There have been gluten free options in every other Best Western Plus we have stayed at. It was obvious the breakfast staff did not care about the appearance of the the breakfast area or the taste and quality of the food they were providing. The elevator creaked and groaned so bad, I wasn't sure it was going to make it to the 3rd floor. We ended up using the stairs for the rest of the our stay.

On rouute to yellowstone stopped here, very nice hotel. Located in quiet end of town but no more than 5 min walk to falls. Idaho has excellent walk round the river. Hotel nice n comfortable and clean.

We stopped here on our way to Yellowstone. We didn't spend much time there, but the room was comfortable and clean, the check in/reservation was easy and it was convenient to restaurants and the highway.

We were travelling on motorcycles for days and needed to come here to have some repairs done to one of the bikes. Not only is this a beautiful town but it has some nice motels. We were very happy with the Best Western Cottontree Inn. It was a comfortable place to stay with clean rooms and a generous staff that was very friendly. There is a gas station right across the street.

We arrived very late in the evening having been on the road from Nevada for most of the day. So our experience was a bit limited. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly. The room was good-sized clean and tidy. There was more than enough space for parking and there is a gas station immediately across the road. Breakfast was the usual good standard and arrangements in breakfast meant that it all ran very smoothly and the breakfast area itself was large and bright. As indicated we did not much more than just pass through but the hotel made a positive enough impression on us and I would happily book with them on another occasion.

We had higher expectations when we booked something called Best Western "Plus". It started with a problem on check in. I was pretty sure I booked a double queen and not a king size room, unfortunately the email confirmation did not show the booked room type. I was told that I probably booked at the same time as someone else and therefore did not notice that it changed the booking into a different room type. I got a 20$ discount so that's fine. Further problems included a parking lot that was filled with trucks blocking multiple spaces so that we had to find a street parking behind the hotel. The advertised additional parking behind a fuel station did not look safe. Biggest issue with the room was the horrible smell of smoke. We already noticed it in the bathroom in the evening. It was fine during the night but we woke up to the same smell coming through the ventilation.

Imagine my surprise when I went to check in and found that I had mistakenly booked our room for the previous night, not the current one. To top it off, the hotel was booked solid with a tour group, this was the last day of our vacation, and it was our 30th wedding anniversary. Oh no, where are we gonna stay? All the other hotels in town were booked. Liz worked her magic and got us into a room. Not just any room, a suite! Although we did have to pay for the mistaken reservation, Liz cut us a deal on the nightly rate with made the bitter pill a lot easier to swallow. She was understanding, patient, and handled the situation like the pro she is. I applaud the management at this hotel for giving their front desk employees the latitude to solve problems like this on the spot. I am very grateful for her kindness and willingness to help us out. Our anniversary could have really sucked. Instead, we had a wonderful dinner at the Sandpiper and a relaxing evening in the room. Thanks Liz!

Loved everything about this hotel! Staff was very friendly. Our room was clean, looks newly updated. Pool was great for the kids, not too cold. Hotel lobby had cookies and ice water for us when we checked in which was a nice treat. Breakfast was very yummy, yogurt, waffles, eggs, baccon, donuts and much more. We were so happy we stated here! We will definitely be coming back!

This was a great Best Western. They were extremely accommodating when we arrived early. The rooms were clean and well attended. They have a nice large pool and Jacuzzi. It is indoor and the pool is heated. If you stay here be sure and go across the street to Jake's to eat. You won't be disappointed. The location of this hotel is excellent and newer construction. Be sure and check out the fireplace.....Unique.

Every aspect of this hotel was above expectations with very clean large comfortable room. Full entertainment satellite tv. Large pool and hot tub. Good breakfast with plenty of options to keep the family happy. I will definitely stay here again!!!

We arrived there after a day's driving. All was clean, nice and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were great, self service laundry is very good and so is the breakfast that goes as far as an American breakfast can go. A very good stop on a long drive.

have been on the road for the last two weeks. I don't think i'm a extremely demanding customer. All i want is a quick and professional check in, a clean- up to date room and a decent sized bathroom. Now most bathrooms in the $100-$170 / night class in the US need a major update, so i'm not going to leave a negative comment about that. I'm starting to get used to it. But i will definitely choose a a hotel with a nice big bathroom over a standard one i've come used too. Anyways, this hotel delivered good value. good check in process, clean rooms and continental breakfast. One thing i would suggest, if a busload with tourists arrive, make sure you have enough staff to check in the other guests too. Luckily i checked in just before the busload of Japanese tourists came in, otherwise i'd be waiting a while to get checked in. Overall experience was good.

We always ask for advice on where to eat dinner. Two guys on duty - both suggested a beer/pub a very short walk from the hotel. Closed for a private party! Next suggestion, by both again, closed on Mondays. 0 for 2. But the two guys were great in taking my teasing about their suggestions. They could not have known about the closures! The place - it's a Plus, with everything that implies. Great bed, good food, etc.

I would stay there on my next travels Very reasonably priced the breakfast wasnt bad love the fact that the pool and hot tub is open 24/7. The wife loved the bed. It was only an hour and a half drive to West Yellowstone

This hotel meets all the basic needs. It's nothing outstanding, but we enjoyed the time there. The rooms are a tad dark, but we were comfortable enough. It has all the amenities you might expect, and we slept okay. I have no complaints. We thought we'd go out for breakfast, so we didn't try the complimentary breakfast. The pool, hot tub, and workout areas were a highlight for us. The pool is big! I got in a quick workout, too, which was nice.

Average hotel located easily off freeway. Rooms are average, but clean. Breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is that my sleep was interrupted by late check in above me. After 11 pm people should be told to come in rooms quietly.

Very comfortable beds, nice room, good pool, clean with friendly staff. Wasn't overly impressed with the look of the breakfast, so I did't eat. Good rates, and seemed to be the only hotel not fully booked in I.F, which is difficult to understand as it's a lovely hotel.

Liz at the front desk bent over backwards to make sure everything went smoothly for us when our truck broke down and out plans had to change quickly. She made sure we had a place to leave bags until check in and worked with our crazy schedule for the day we left.

The 29th of March started early at 0400 in Apache Junction Arizona and ended in Idaho Falls Utah. The check in at Cottontree was swift and the directions to our room accurate. The room it self was spacious and clean with a very comfortable King bed. The only small beef was that at 0500 in the morning the coffee was not hot.

This hotel was very clean, and very comfortable, it was in a good location and was happy with the service we received. My wife and I used our points to pay for room and was a very simple process, the hot tub was awesome, we have Family stay at this location when they come to town, I recommend this Best Western to everyone.

We have stayed her 2 times last month we really enjoy it..breakfast is great hot tub perfect. Would defiantly recommend to anyone..and will stay here on our frequent trips to Arizona, from montana in the future

Had a great stay with family here. All amenities were great and friendly service. Rooms were great. My grandchildren we're able to swim and breakfast had a great variety of food. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone!

Long day on the road, wasn't sure where we would get to but found this nice motel by the falls. They upgraded our room, gave us a nice cooked to order breakfast, newspaper, all for a very reasonable price. We declined the evening snacks as we were full from a recent dinner. Will stay there again and recommended it to friends!

We were on a mini-vacation and found the rental car had a slow leak in a tire. We limped to the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn, Idaho Falls, ID, calling on the way to reserve a room. We woke to a flat tire. After multiple phone calls trying to get the car running again, my husband asked the hotel attendant if they could assist. In a few minutes the manager came out with a small compressor, filled the tire so we could get on our way. Such a great help. They went out of their way to help us! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great!

An easy turn off the I-15 will ensure that your stay at this INN is a very good experience. I cannot fault anything about this place. It is a relative new, quiet and very clean facility. We appreciated the wrapped remote and lovely local art on the walls! Comfortable bed & good quality bedding/duvet. Staff very friendly; real scrambled eggs, standard breakfast. Eating place (Jaker's Restaurant & Grill) across the street is mediocre but convenient.

This hotel was very and had all the amenities we needed. Made use of fitness room, jacuzzi, and laundry facilities, as well as internet. All worked well. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Good choice.

Nice roadside hotel just off the I1 close to the Snake river . Very friendly and accommodating greeting on check in. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is pet friendly. Has a pool and hot tub, business centre and coin op laundry. Complementary breakfast served but seating is cramped. Lots of choices but food is 'average. Reasonable rates

Extremely satisfied with this Hotel on price and the overall newness. We stayed on our trip down to our cruise out of Long Beach and loved the hotel and decided to stay again on our way back. Comparing it with some of the hotels we stayed at in Las Vegas and Long Beach it was a 10 compared to the 5 in the other hotels on our trip although the cruise stateroom was comparable.

Beautiful hotel and rooms! Upgraded everything from the linens, and draperies, to the faucets and high quality room amenities. Good hot breakfasts. The flat screen TV's are large as well. You can't beat it for the price. At last we middle class people can afford luxury. Thank you Best Western PLUS.

Very nice place to stay, quiet, very friendly helpful staff, pet friendly our dog loved the treats they had for her. I appreciated the goodie bag that they had for me as well for being a gold reward member.

Stopped overnight and service was good. We had to change from the 1st floor to 2nd floor because door key did not work and then the phone did not work either. BUT the room we ended up with was good and the breakfast was very good. Convenient location while traveling.

Check in was quick and the clerk was pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, cold cereal, etc. We didn't try the pool or spa. Affordable. Highly recommend.

This chain of motels has been great. They have great staff and very nice rooms. My favorite thing is the 24 hour pool/hot tub and fitness center. It allows you to travel all day and still relax when it fits your schedule. The breakfast is also great! Lots of variety, something for everyone. I eat gluten free and could still find plenty to eat. They were also very accommodating when we ending up having to bring out dog at the last minute.

This hotel has everything we look for when we travel stateside: The staff is courteous. The facility is clean. The rooms are spacious. And they provide a nice breakfast in the morning. Additionally, we have a dog and they've set aside some very nice and clean dog-friendly rooms.

We love to stay at the Cottontree Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful no matter the hour of the day you arrive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is an added bonus after a long day traveling on the road. The breakfast is hot and delicious.

They seen my three kids exceitment and they help build it more. Loved the staff. The pool was very kids friendly. Breakfast was very good and 6 year old friendly. Like three 6 years olds ate everything they had.

This is the cleanest hotel property I've ever visited and stayed at. The owner is always looking for ways to enhance and upgrade the lodging experience. There are always improvements that are easy to recognize from the parking lot to the pool to the room it's self. I couldn't be more pleased to recommend this hotel.

Stayed here when picking a grandson form Rexburg. This is a nice new facility with easy on and off the route 20. Very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast pretty standard and Ok. Beds were very nice as were the linens. Very quiet. No real problems.

We were very pleased with the Best Western Cotton Tree. We stopped here enroute from Canada to Arizona. Had a great supper at Sarah's. The location is just off the interstate. It is also close to Olive Garden, Famous Dave's and Wendy's. It is close to the river

A great staff I have been staying at this location for years, they have gone through a complete remodel and it is nice. If you are in Idaho falls this is the place to stay. You have access to restaurants within walking distance, easy access to I-15.

The breakfast was amazing. My son was so excited to have mini waffles. The beds we comfortable and the pillows we heavenly. We loved the pool and how clean it was with a hot tub also. We spent a few hours in there.

This is my third stay at this location....why because on my first stay.... I had a rock hit my windshield on my brand new car....it was a cold night in November and I knew I had to get it fixed before the windshield cracked. The staff called all around Idaho Falls and found someone to come and fix the chip at the hotel...and did I mention this was close to midnight! I've stayed here since and received exceptional service every time.

Excellent location near the falls and easy access to the freeway exit. Restaurant within easy walking distance, gas station across the street, what more can one ask for? Having said all that, what makes it even more special, was the staff experience. BW has done it right as to who they want hire and manage their front desk. As of this experience, BW has become my first choice when needing accommodations.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room was lovely, spacious, with a nice view of the river. The free pick up taxi service to the airport was greatly appreciated. I was overall very impressed at all this hotel has to offer for such an affordable cost.

Mid 12 hour drive stop, happened to be on our sons birthday. We stopped here got a fantastic rate on a room, ordered in a pizza, and let the kids swim. Room was spacious and clean, pool was well maintained and not crowded. Great stop, would definitely recommend.

The is a wonderful hotel. I will be back to stay at the Best Western plus Cotton Tree. Rooms are super clean. Smell great. The beds are so comfortable. Showers are superb. Breakfast is always hot and ready to be eaten. The hot tub and pools are very clean and comfortable.

This Best Western is very nice to stay at. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient, the rooms are nice and the amenities such as the pool/hot tub and fitness center are very nice. It's great to relax in the hot tub after a long road trip. The lobby/reception area is really clean and inviting, and the rooms are nice. The continental breakfast is about what any continental breakfast is like. I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Idaho Falls, and this last trip was the only time I've ever thought the sausage and breakfast potatoes were overcooked. That being said, they were still good and I look forward to the next time I get to stay at this Best Western.

I usually travel for business so this was an unusual occasion of spending time with the family in Idaho Falls just to have fun in the indoor swimming pool with the grandkids. They loved it. The pool was lovely, heated and indoor, and the hotel rooms were comfortable, clean and modern. I would certainly stay here again. Really enjoyed the breakfast too.

I made the reservations on Hotels.com and everything went as planned. I wrote in the comments that my son has special needs and what that entailed and we were put in a spacious huge handicapped room. Everything went perfectly without even having to contact the hotel first. The beds were very cozy and the staff very helpful. I will only stay at this hotel every time I go to Idaho Falls. Also, really clean rooms. Loved playing in the pool!

Loved this hotel, we spent one night in Idaho Falls, one in West Yellowstone, and one in Jackson. This was by far, our favorite. We also bought tickets to Bear World through the hotel and received a discount.

Nice place to stay great breakfast and loved that we could add on discounted tickets to Bear World online. Hotel staff was great and the rooms were updated but the water pressure was very poor. Overall though we were happy with our stay.

The second to last BW we'd stay at for this road trip and a great hotel it was too. Room was comfy and clean and there wasn't any noise. We were able to have a meal in the nearby Denny's and then to chill in our room before getting some well deserved rest before the last leg of this trip.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and the condition and quality of the surroundings were great. Hotel had just been upgraded and it showed. Location was in walking distance to downtown, restaurants and the falls for which the town was named.

I travel a lot for work and BW is my go to hotel chain. In my experience BW is routinely above and beyond the other Hotel chains I have stayed with. The Cotton Tree in Idaho Falls is right on up there with the better Hotels of the BW Chain that I have stayed at. Even through the Hotel was completely booked and the staff was actually having to send walk in customers to a neighboring hotel they were very friendly and more then willing to do everything they could to make my stay enjoyable.

I stayed at this hotel on my way back to Canada. The hotel is located in, what I consider to be a more industrial area however it is very close to everything. There is a Denny's and Outback steakhouse and convenience store across the road. Very handy!! The rooms are well appointed, nicely decorated and have modern amenities. They have a business center, pool and service a nice breakfast included with the room. The location is safe and very quiet.

Glad we chose this place for our Bozeman stay. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Short drive to Museum of the Rockies. Welcoming, friendly staff. Very clean room, comfortable bed, fast Internet. Breakfast was fine. Great value!

Checked in here after a long day driving, met by smiling reception staff (3 of them) no queuing, no waiting. Room very good. Next morning the hire car wouldn't start so John on reception went out of his way to help us get a replacement -- nothing was to much trouble for him. Would I stay again YES

Just wonderful! The property touts a fresh remodel and it shows! The place is modern and squeaky clean. The rooms are stylish and the bed, ohh, sooo, comfortable. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. There is a small business center, laundry facilities and snack machines for the guests. Free breakfast is offered starting at 6Am, and I must say, the spread is pretty incredible. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and there is a Denny's restaurant across the street. I highly recommend this property.

King suite was beyond expectations. Incredibly clean, comfortable, stylish. Well designed and beautifully decorated, both the room and the hotel had everything we could have wanted and then some. Would definitely return if we ever travel through Idaho Falls again... Now looking for reasons to visit Idaho Falls so we can stay here again.

My room was excellent. The staff were friendly. I made use of the business centre, which again was good. It was only a 10 minutes walk along the river to the Falls themselves and the many restaurants near them. I didn't try the pool out, so I can't comment on it. It was front of house so visible from the car park and road so if you like privacy for a swim it's not for you. The breakfast was good but the breakfast room was small and many in our 2 coach party had to eat in the lobby and corridor. Not a serious issue, I would imagine, only an issue when there's a large group staying (c100) and they all have to go to breakfast together so as to be ready to leave at the same time as one another. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Idaho Falls.

We travel from our home to Boise, ID, once a year and this was our third time staying at this property. I tried making reservations before our trip, but at $175 for one "overnighter," there was no way I was going to stay. I checked again the day before returning home from Boise to find the rate had dropped to $103, so I cancelled our original reservation at a "discount motel," so we could stay here. The rooms are always clean and quiet, and staff is always friendly. I just wish they (and other hotels) would quit bouncing their pricing up and down.

This is a wonderful property. If I hadn't of stayed at this hotel several times when it was another brand, I would have thought it was brand new. Everything has been completely refurbished and redecorated. Our room was large, king bed with a pull out sofa, coffee table, desk and chair, refrigerator that was enclosed in a nice cabinet. My husband loved the flat screen TV to watch a football game of one of our home teams. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Full standard BW breakfast. The hotel was full and there was heavy demand for breakfast. The staff did a good job keeping up. The hotel has a 24 hour, guest laundry and small business center. One minor downside was the the elevator was down a long hall away from reception. We walked right by it and to go back to reception to clarify it's location. Perhaps management could provid some better signage....as in directional sign and an overhead sign at the elevator. Shout to the young lady who was working the reception desk at about 7 pm on Sept 2. When I approached the desk she was on a phone call with someone who appeared to be giving her a difficult time about a rate quote or something. She acknowledged me and was very professional with the caller.

Great location (close to temple and hike and bike trail along the river). Room was clean and quiet. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was adequate including hot items (eggs, bacon, and waffles).

Hotel in good position, short & pleasant walk to the Falls along the river. Staff helpful and accommodating, room was large and clean. Eatery place within short walk. Nice hot tub and swimming pool. We were in a tour with 2 buses but they easily coped with breakfast demands in the morning. Would recommend.

A suite for 6 people and a lovely room is what we had. All staff were EXTREMELY helpful. Breakfast was standard BW of which you get tired of after 2 days....but it was included. Lovely little town and lovely falls. Too far to travel to Yellowstone daily, but instead of $250 a night it's much cheaper. Easy trip to Jackson,Wy.

I had a group utilizing 60 rooms for 3 nights at this hotel. The service was excellent, even preparing breakfast an hour early for them one morning when the group had to depart very early. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The complimentary breakfast offered a large selection and the breakfast staff kept everything filled and tables cleaned promptly. And the administrative staff as well as the front desk handled everything efficiently and were so nice to deal with, especially considering our room list had last minute changes! This is clearly a well-managed hotel and I would highly recommend staying here if coming to Idaho Falls.

The Staff very nice & hotel right off road & by Greenbelt. Good breakfast with different items daily. The only problem was a bit noisy hearing people going up and down the hall at night. It was renovated recently giving newer effect.

Drove all the way from California to see the eclipse. Room was reserved last minute (10 min) to arrival. Room was clean and comfortable after a long drive. Great place to be before Yellowstone. Breakfast was amazing too. If I ever return, I will stay here again.

It is located beside an exit and it was loud all night. Air conditioning is loud and the bedding and pillow are not comfortable. We had to find the guest attendant in the kitchen to check out. Not impressed and thinking we won't ever stay at a Best Western in the U.S.A again.

One of the quietest hotels we have stayed in. We weren't awoken at all hours of the day and night by banging doors. Nice to have other courteous guest that don't just let the door slam every time they enter or exit. Pool is always open which is great since we prefer to have a soak in the spa after the kids have left.

Fast efficient check in. Good recommendations for dinner. Clean and comfortable room. WiFi a bit slow, video streaming paused frequently and no fresh fruit at breakfast due to a couple of tour groups but Liz was able to get us some bananas and oranges. Overall nice stay.

we had a stop over here from the creators of the Moon on our way to the Grand Tetons. the hotel was clean and located in a good place. we used the pool and it was clean. we enjoyed our stay here. we didn't have time to do a whole lot in town with a late arrival and early departure.

After a long day's driving from Glacier National Park, Montana, we were very pleased to have stayed at the Best Western Plus Cottontree Inn at Idaho Falls, ID. We were immediately welcomed and given the key to our spacious and clean rooms. Moreover, there were freshly baked cookies and information about the local area. Our restaurant choice (Jackers) was right across the street. As mentioned, our rooms were spacious and clean with the usual amenities expected staying at a BW. We were not disappointed in our stay and glad we choose this hotel.

I don't think I've ever given a hotel 5 stars in all the hotels I have reviewed. I can't think of anything negative about our stay here. It was better than just very good. All of the staff was efficient and kind. Rooms were large and very clean. That's what you expect from a hotel. But what makes this hotel really stand out is the very large swimming pool and hot tub that is open 24 hours. And check out is noon. So if you get in late you can swim, and time to swim in the am. They have a nice fitness center as well. Breakfast is included with a nice selection including waffles with fruit toppings and whipped cream! Coffee is hot, fresh and good. Really, it was well worth the price we payed. Of course coming from Cody where we paid twice as much for a poor quality motel, this was a pleasant, relaxing stop and what every hotel should strive to be. If we are through this way again we will stop here again. Well done, Cotton Tree.

One block from the river trail to the falls and downtown. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect at a Best Western. A good stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days for work. I had not stayed at a best western before (usually SPG/Starwood) and was pleasantly surprised. This located was a couple of minutes from a super Walmart, a great steak restaurant was across the street. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good and constantly being attended to. I would certainly stay at this location again.

TV did not work and coffee maker in room did not work. Breakfast room was very crowded. No big deal for me usually but there was a premium price charged. And a bit of arrogance at the front desk also.

This Best Western was a mighty fine gem that I didn't expect! The hotel is very nice and the rooms are as well! You will be impressed from the the moment you walk in. There is also a very nice pool and ample parking. I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive too!

The Cottontree Inn was an excellent hotel. Even though we received a request for a review from Best Western Hotels, this hotel, although a sister hotel, did not offer the free breakfast or Rewards. The rooms were clean, the restaurant was very good. Staff were very helpful.

Very clean, convenient, friendly and accommodating staff; really love the location being right across the street from the River Walk; very nice! The only problem I had was off street parking issue, there wasn't enough room, so I had to park on street overnight; and no luggage carrier is available at this property to tote luggage in one trip to room, so I had to make multiple trips, and a family of four's luggage and belongings is not a small amount. Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular, but it was nice. I would visit this hotel again.

Best place to stay in Idaho Falls. The staff is excellent, as friendly as family. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I love the pillows!! The hotel is right on the river with a trail to enjoy. Breakfast has many great choices. This is my go to place for Idado Falls.

The catagory of a "Best Wester Plus" is really shown in the service and the facility. A great location to the riverwalk which is very scenic and relaxing at the same time. Just go out the door and one is practically on the riverwalk and the Snake River as it runs along side of the walkway.

Good stopping point on the way to West Yellowstone. Clean room, restaurants in walking distance. Nice breakfast no complaints but also nothing "charming" either. I look first to Best Western first when traveling as feel they give good value.

Excellent in every way except room was next to the vending machine and Ice machine. Very loud family getting items from vending machine after we went to bed, then someone filled up their ice chest at 5 am. Make sure to ask to not have room next to these amenities if you want a good sleep. Other than that, everything else was great.

I stayed at BW Plus Cottontree Inn on our way to Blackfoot. It was a very nice hotel. The rooms were big, the beds were very comfortable. We all had a good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. Multiple choices to choose from. The staff was very friendly. Free Wifi. I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for 2 night to enjoy waterfalls and this adorable little town prior to heading out to join a friend for a girlfriends vacation. I travel with my dog and was given a room on the first floor close to the exit...which I appreciate. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. All staff were professional and helped with whatever I needed. Breakfast was organized, clean, and had a large variety. Coffee was available 24 hours...which is something I like as I get up at 5 a.m. and do not like the coffee in the room. They also had ice water and hot water for tea. The internet was a little slow, but worked fine for checking e mail and face book. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Hotel is nice, rooms look spacious & clean, staff is friendly & courteous. Overall a good hotel & a good value. That being said maybe we hit it on a bad morning but breakfast was horrible. Hard dry Tater tots instead of hash browns, bacon that was like jerky, eggs & what passes for oatmeal weren't good either. I've stayed at BW plus in 4 states & this was the only one I've had any issues. Still as I said earlier the hotel is still good overall & a good value, especially with their rewards program.

I will being staying more often a BW from not on. I know that they are not the best prices, but you get your moneys worth and more for the price. I will be using this hotel more as we travel on vacation

Liz welcomed us...She is great! My 90 year old mom and I make an annual trek to IF every Memorial Day. Liz understands the needs of a golden age person and gave us a room close to the elevator and on the third floor for quiet time. Thank you Liz!

Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Our room(stayed to different time), was excellent, very clean an comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They made you feel comfortable. The breakfast area was very clean and organized and breakfast was very good with several choices to make. My only suggestion in the breakfast room would be not to put the butter on ice. I put it in the micro to soften it so that it would melt on my waffle.

Very good value. Minor problem with the TV. Excellent restaurant right across the street. Easy access from US 20. Quiet. Clean and comfortable. Hotel staff competent and friendly. Good breakfast provided.

This was easily the best motel we stayed in during our three week trip to the US, and great value for money. The hotel itself looks like it was recently renovated and is clean, stylish, and easy to move around. There is a little sitting area at reception with a gas fire and a 24-hour heated indoor pool and hot tub. Our room was a decent size, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the armchair with footrest and desk meant there were places to sit and chill other than the beds. The mini refrigerator was blissfully quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The only minor downside was that the air conditioner was really loud and difficult to use - we ended up having to switch it off as we couldn't sleep with it on. Fortunately we didn't really need it but it would have been quite unpleasant if we had.

BW Plus Cottontree Inn was comfortable. We appreciated the large double room (2Q + pullout), dual refrigerators, and comfortable beds. Room was noisy--we were on the main floor on a corner near a side street and had quite a bit of road noise. Had a noisy bus parked outside the window for a bit. Also wondered if the guests above us were playing football. (I would get the same room again but would request 3rd floor for more quiet.) Would be good to clean under the pullouts more regularly. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was good--a little unattended as many items ran out early and had to be pointed out. Breakfast staff was pleasant. Overall, desk staff were competent--not very warm or outgoing, but able to answer questions if approached. We would be fine staying here again. Would love to see a more engaged staff.

We booked the night at this BW on hoteltonight.com which has been great for road trip traveling and not knowing where your day will end. This hotel was friendly and clean and convenient to area eateries. But the one big mistake was that the clerk who checked us in, put us in a room where just about the entire floor was dominated by a bus tour of Asian tourist. The walls are VERY thin so we heard all there conversations all night as they ran around the halls to each other's rooms. Then when they finally went to sleep, their alarms went off at 5am to get back on the bus. So we too were up at 5am!! I blame the hotel mgr on duty for his poor judgement, not the tour group who were here. But the tour group was very loud and slammed doors continuously! What the heck were they doing???? No I did not call the front desk as I was in my pj's and we managed to get to sleep as they settled down about midnight. But the 5am wake up was terrible as all the noise started again! I would have given this BW a five but can only rate a 3 based on the poor decision to put us on the same floor and the fact that there is obviously no sound barriers between walls! I mean we heard every word. Didn't understand Chinese but heard it all!! Very disappointed and very tired today!!

We were treated very well and with courtesy. The Inn was very well kept and all of the staff we had contact with were very helpful and nice. I would recommend the Cotton Tree Inn at Idaho Falls to anyone who might be traveling into that area and tell them it was well worth the effort to stay here.

The hotel is in excellent condition inside, they have had a major update as of 2016 and the rooms are still very new. This hotel was very clean, the staff was very kind and welcoming. The free breakfast was excellent with hot and cold items to choose. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon check in I was impressed with our Desk Clerk Heather. She was extremely helpful and promptly checked us in offering us fresh cookies. We preceeded to our room which was big and very clean. We had a minor problem with our TV and Heather came to our room and fixed it instantly. I used the hotel computers to plan out the rest of our trip and they worked great. The next morning we had breakfast and I was very impressed with the food offered. I made my own waffle, had some sausage and potatoes and was full. There were eggs and pastries but they werent needed to fill me up. The food was very good. Two tour groups had eaten before us and instead of the bar looking like Big Foot danced through it, the bar was clean and all the food trays were full. The tables in the dining area were clean and the floor had been vacuumed. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel and the work ethics of the staff. The only negative was we had a room close to the elevator and could hear the people checking out early, but that goes with the territory. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I have stayed here frequently over the years. The staff is great and the rooms superb. The decor changes often enough that we are treated to something new on a regular basis. Then, too, there are those fresh hot cookies offered each evening. The accomodation has lots of lighting and power outlets, comfortable beds, and room to make yourself at home. Great breakfast with space to access and enjoy the food, guest laundry, business computer, pool. Convenient to I-15, Hwy 20, the Snake river greenway, airport, downtown, Walmart and a variety of restaurants.

My family stayed in the same hotel years ago. It was a nice place to meet as a group with good prices available for everyone. It is close to the Idaho Falls Temple where we met as a group. The bed were wonderful!! Breakfast was great!

I usually NEVER give reviews but this hotel deserves to be commended. The staff was just awesome and helped us with restaurant selections in the area, along with super-quick service bringing us our forgotten toiletries. Also, the cleaning staff had cleaned our room early and was spotless upon our return. The beds were comfy. We had a 2Q with sofa bed. The room arrangement was perfect for us with the separate living area. The only complaint (which is minnor) was that the 2nd refrigerator wasn't very cold and that there were no microwaves in the room but we ended up not needing it anyway. The pool and hot tub were massive compared to most hotels and were very well maintained. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The stay at this hotel was excellent! The hotel was very easy to find just off the highway . The staff make you feel like family an the breakfast has a good amount of food so you won't leave hungry. It is an average place. Clean room. Breakfast was good and was included with room cost. Overall good place to stay for one night. Short walk to steak house and family restaurant. Not much offered at hotel for a long stay.

There isn't anything good or bad about this place. Everything went as expected. Easy check in/out. Continental breakfast, free cookie when checking in. The elevator smells like diesel fumes and lots of loud kids up and down the halls. Great view of snake river from the room. Free wifi. No hot water in shower, not sure if the hotel ran out of hot water or if the shower was broken. Updated rooms but not mattresses.

I travel frequently to Idaho Falls and have stayed at many of the area hotels. Best Western Cotton Tree is conveniently located near the airport, close to many good restaurants, and a short distance from the river. I wish the breakfast had more healthier options, but was overall good. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The fitness center is small and hard to use. The pool was clean.

The staff here goes out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. Liz at the desk is the best just ask and she will do her best to accommodate you. Fresh cookies at front desk when you walk by take one or two that is what they are for. Breakfast room so clean and if you need anything ask. The cleaning staff always gives a big smile and speaks they are great . We feel so at home when we are there . That is the only place we stay when we go to the Falls. We walk to the restaurant accross the street or just down the block . The river is in walking distance if you want an evening stroll, easy access from the highway and Super Walmart is just down the road if you need anything.

A fabulous motel...we stay there every chance we get. The check in process was fast and efficient....in fact the reservation phone call was handled very well too. The breakfast looked fantastic but we left too early to take advantage of it this time...last time through it was delicious.

Stayed here with my grandaughter, she loved the pool. The staff was friendly and attentive. Would stay again! The walls were a little thin but thats not anything the staff can help with and I did over hear them offer to change rooms for a guest who had some issues with and excessively loud neighboring room

This newly remodeled hotel is clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is good and the price is great. The pool was fun and they had warm towels available for he kids. Breakfast had lots of options and was better than most hotel free breakfasts.

This place looks good until you get inside your room and feel like you can hear everyone your neighbor says. Doors slamming all night. It's been updated. But if you want sleep stay somewhere else. Very noisy!! Also, the washer n dryers are not new but may be used new for them. Had issues with the laundry room not wanting to work.

Great hotel! I was just passing through and hadn't made a reservation or anything, but I was able to get the type of room that I wanted at a very decent rate. The room was clean, and the decor was modern.

We go to Yuma every year from Montana, we stop in Idaho Falls at The Cotton Tree Inn on our way there and again on our way back home. It is a perfect distance from home on our first night on the road. This year we've discovered a pizza parlor close to the hotel. We have made this our annual stopping point.

We love this motel. It is always our first choice in Idaho Falls. The pool is always warm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I was surprised to have no hair dryer in the room and no cookies in the foyer. The only bad part was the content available on the TV that my children saw. I was very uncomfortable.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are super clean, the facility has a recent remodel and is as nice as you will find anywhere, quiet rooms, excellent breakfast, free newspaper. Who could ask for more ?

We have chosen to stay at this hotel for the past fifteen years or so and have always been pleased with the rooms and the staff. We were so surprised to see that the hotel has been remodeled, both exterior and interior including the breakfast room and lobby. Their breakfast offerings are plentiful, both hot and cold including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, always a breakfast meat, my favorite a waffle bar along with cereals, yogurts and breads and fruit. Their coffee bar iincludes hot cocoa and there is a juice machine. Every staff member is pleasant and treat us as valued customers.

This is the first time I have ever felt I needed to leave a review for a hotel. My daughter and I spent the night here. The hotel decor is very inviting. But when when my daughter pulled back the covers to get into bed, we saw a crunched up Cheeto smashed into the sheet. Obviously, the sheets were never changed between guests. I felt disgusted. And the shower curtain strongly smelled of mildew. I don't think I would choose to stay here again.

The bed had one of the 3 best mattresses that I have slept on in my life (!) The breakfast was fantastic. Everything seems to have been recently remodeled and clean. The only disappointment was that the cookies by the front desk were gone by the time we checked in. Being a BW Plus means that it was a little more expensive, but quite worth it.

This is a newly renovated hotel with beautiful decor, and great staff. Within half a block is a small bistro called The Bees Knees that has outstanding food at great prices served by one of the best (his name is Torry).

First the good, room was quite large and bed was comfortable and housekeeping kept it spotless. Breakfast was also quite tasty with plenty of variety. The downside was the location which did not appear to be the best of Idaho Falls and if it was, I don't want to go back to Idaho Falls. I will also have to admit not being very happy with the process of booking this hotel through Trip Advisor. I fell for the too good to be true advertised price of $89 a night and "only one room left at this price". Once I hit the enter key on the computer the price magically turned into $127--non-refundable. Sometimes things don't work out and this was one of those times. The Cotton Tree Inn will be OK for most people but for me there are better options.

Wonderful staff, room was newly decorated, quiet and exceptionally clean room with pristine white bedding. The hotel was easy to locate. Nice breakfast buffet area, and menu. I would recommend this, and would stay here again.

Passing thru Idaho headed to Grand Teton NP. Great location, the river walk on the Snake river with the falls is right behind the property. Great place to take kids forr a walk. Room was clean, modern and bed was very good. Breakfast was very good, omelet, sausage, waffel and various fruits and cereals. Staff was great. I would definetly stay here again.

We/I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years for both business and vacations and this is the best hotel in Idaho Falls. The facility has been remodeled and upgrades and everything is superb. We will not consider any other hotel in Idaho Falls. The staff makes every effort to accommodate the traveler and goes out of their way to make your trip a memorable pleasure. We highly recommend the Cotton Tree Inn.

This is our favorite place in town by far!! The hot tub is large and the pool is perfect, the breakfast is really great, it has lots of choices, there are welcoming cookies and coffee too! The staff are amazing!! So helpful and friendly. We highly recommend you stay here!! Great location as well!

The King bed was comfortable. Nice room and pet friendly for an extra charge. The breakfast buffet served cold eggs, easily fixed with the microwave. Otherwise the breakfast was great. The staff were all very helpful.

We stayed in a King Suite. It was absolutely excellent. Separate Living Room / Kitchen with large flat screen TV with Direct TV. Bed was extremely comfortable with large flat screen TV in the bedroom. It felt like you were in a small apartment. The whole experience was just great. We will definitely stay there again if we are in Idaho Falls.

we have absolutely NO complaints..only good reviews! Room was clean, bed linens crisp and yet soft, pillows comfortable too!. Bathroom was clean and shower was refreshing after a full day of hiking. Amenities were good. Hot tub was perfect and clean with available towels. No noise outside so we were able to sleep peacefully.

Location is great. It is among good restaurants and central to everything in Idaho Falls. I love that the pool is open 24 hours! My only issue is that the light bulbs in the room are an awful fluorescent white instead of a warm yellow glow. Otherwise, the breakfast is good, and the you get what you pay for.

I wish I had gotten the name of the * Angel Among Us* who registered me ( I almost said admitted me) after having been diagnosed with bronchitis earlier in the day in Jackson WY. We needed a place for me to heal a bit before our flight in 2 days. She was so kind and offered me a bottle of water all the while trying to get me checked in as soon as possible. When my husband and I got to the room it was perfect. Immaculate .Ground level with car very close outside. Two beds with snow white bedding, very cool AC, refrigerator and microwave. The room was large and the bathroom was very clean with white towels. I took a shower and went to bed, Everything super quite. The man working the evening shift was very helpful to my husband. Jakers across the street with AMAZING soup. This BW had a good breakfast with great coffee, Less than 2 miles from the airport for our early morning flight. We could never have found a better place to be .If I could give this place a score of a million I would.

Friendly staff (Liz & Alex), large parking area, good sized room, wi-fi worked well. We slept great, the King sized bed was very comfortable, and hotel was nice & quiet. Breakfast incl. near lobby is always a plus.

Hotel is located in a quiet area close to the Idaho Falls Temple and river. In room fridge was clean and in good working order. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a small sofa bed to sit on.

I chose this motel as I'd had such a terrific experience at the last Best Western I'd stayed. This experience wasn't quite as good as that one but was good. The room was clean for the most part. There was dust on the plastic kleenix box that happened to be empty, so had to ask for a refill. I had trouble turning on the shower but when instructed by staff how to turn it on, was just fine. Apparently, the motel had been recently remodeled, so was very clean. For the most part it was quiet but could hear children bounding down the hallway when I was trying to sleep. The location was good as there was an Outback and a Denny's within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.

We were on our way home after 2 weeks away and discovered that we had to cancel our final night on the road and rush home. Our cell phone wouldn't work in Idaho and long distance calls were not allowed from the room. The front desk person gave me her cell phone to call ahead to Billings and cancel our reservation before the deadline. Above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated. Clean and comfortable.

When I booked this hotel for 2 nights, I booked it because it was just renovated and had good reviews. After checking in, yes, the hotel looked great, the rooms look awesome and the service at the frontdesk was good. When arriving in our room, the toilet didn't flush. In fact it didn't flush at all and in no-time the water was coming in the room and hallway. We phoned the frontdesk, the nice man came upstair, but the problem was worse than he expected. Finally we turned off the running tap. But the damage was done. We were lucky there was only 1 room available, 1 king and 1 sofabed. Next day we could move to another room with 2 queen beds, but the manager? Here you got your new key and that's it..... Nothing.... The breakfast area: TOO SMALL!!! Seems that lots of buses come to this place and all buses have breakfast at the same time. Second day we wanted to have an early breakfast because we wanted to move on also. No space and no food because one of the buses guests made such a mess out of the place. These awful people got lots of food and didn't eat because they did not have any manners. I felt really sorry for the girls preparing breakfast. Since we just wanted to relax a day after traveling a couple of weeks we didn't had it in us to complain more. I was really disappointed about my stay. Luxury may look great but the look and experience are 2 different things.

My wife and I were given a room for three nights that had an interior door to the adjacent room that had no sound dreading qualities; we could clearly hear ever noise and sound in the next room as if it was in ours. Also, we were on the second floor of a three floor structure where we could clearly hear people waling and kids running around in the hall ways and jumping around at night

The room had classy decor. It was clean, roomy and quiet. The hotel was close to the freeway and east to find. The restaurant just across the street, Jakers, was excellent. We would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Idaho Falls.

We stayed at The Best Western Plus Cotton Tree Inn with our two granddaughters. The first stay was for two days and we came back again about a week later. The room was great. We stayed in a spacious suite with the bedroom separate from the living room. Very comfortable and felt more homey. The bathroom is between the bedroom and living room, with privacy pocket doors on each side. Excellent layout. Two sinks, clean bathroom, well maintained. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The full breakfast was good. The pool was larger than the usual hotel has and went to 6 ft depth - great fun. Laundry facilities were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is close to the highway access, but is quiet. So if you want a place that is in the middle of fun night life, this is not the place. There are Outback and Denny's restaurants close by and a gas station across the street. For our group and situation, this was a great place for a fairly reasonable price. We highly recommend.

We stayed with 3 children including a 1 year old and 2 year old in a regular two queen bed room. The room was large enough we had room to move around and it made it great for the kids. The pool was very kid friendly and quite large. Although there wasn't a two foot - there is a large stair area where the little ones could play around. The breakfast was amazing!! It includes bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles - all the things we never make at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers with families!

We had come from Bakersfield Calif. for a funeral for my aunt in Idaho Falls. My husband did research and found this Hotel had good ratings. Rooms nice, front desk person wasn't overly friendly, but over all a good place. It had a pool and Jacuzzi but didn't get a chance to use them. We arrived Friday afternoon, Saturday morning they have a very nice breakfast. We left the room at 10:00 a.m. maids were across the hall from us and saw us leave. We go back to our room at 2:00 p.m. and it hadn't been cleaned, not cool. Plus, I didn't see any blow dryers in the room and found out later it was hanging from a black bag in the closet. Still a pretty clean Hotel would give them another try.

Wow, this Best Western Plus is definitely a capital PLUS. After renovation the changes are superb! From the rooms to the lobby restrooms, the lobby and breakfast room are great! The srvice was always outstanding and caring, but the new look everywhere adds a bunch to the value.

The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast bar had a variety of items to choose from. They had an indoor pool which we used. They also had an elevator which was nice because my travel companion has difficulty walking and climbing stairs.

I've stayed at many Best Westerns over the years. Some are nice, some are terrible. But this particular one is exceptional in every respect. The room was spacious and clean, the cable lineup was massive, the breakfast was really good and had way more than your traditional 'hot' breakfast servings in a hotel. I would certainly stay at this Best Western again and recommend it to anyone I know.

Clean and modern, the rooms were well-equipped, well-designed, and convenient. The airport shuttle and breakfast were important to us as we were spending the night before our morning flight. Front desk was very helpful. This hotel is near other hotels and restaurants so very convenient to grab a quick bite. My sons went for a jog around the nearby park and fitness trail. Nice, close amenity.

Great hotel, great room (only the bathroom amenities and towel that was never replaced/changed, even the towel that was on ground to be changed), good staff, great breakfast. Good localization near to road exit to Yellowstone.

Everything about this budget to mid range hotel was what we expected of it. It was very clean, had a great pool, breakfast was also very good. Our only complaint of our overnight visit is directed to the rude lady, Joyce, who 'greeted us'. We both felt that we were imposing on her time by checking in. A friendlier receptionist is needed.

This is actually the best BW hotel we have stayed in on this trip. Rooms were immaculately clean and breakfast very satisfactory along with service. Lots of families present as well as couples. Would happily stay again.

The staff was very friendly and all seemed to enjoy their job. We had a king with a sofabed which made it feel like we had a lot of room. I really liked having a refrigerator to keep our drinks cold for the next days travels.

Property check in/check out was straight forward and quick. Quality of hotel was average for price. Hotel was full during our stay, but, make sure you don't wait until the end of the breakfast hours -- most everything was out of stock and there was really nothing to pick from. Staff was not planning on doing any restocking or did they make an effort to help our family.

The room was comfy and clean and all of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. It was only about a block from the river and a half-mile from the dam/falls. It was an easy walk over. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Check the alarm clock before going to bed. House cleaning forgot to reset this from the previous person staying. We were woken up very early. :( It took us over an hour to get the baby back to sleep. There was also a floss stick on our towels in the bathroom. Ewwwww!

Very modern and clean rooms with a nice bathroom, large bed, free wifi, free parking and a decent free breakfast. Recommended place to stay for visiting Yellowstone if places nearer the park are sold out.

It's 2hours from yellow stone but worth to stay here. Room is clean and comfort. Free breakfast is more than average value. Omelet w american cheese, waffle, oatmeal were delicious. There are nice and kinda staffs.

Newly remodeled, the Cotton Tree is a great place to stay. The 24 hour pool and jacuzzi are a definite plus. Pool area is well maintained. Staff is extraordinarily helpful. Location of the motel is along "motel row" on Lindsay Blvd. Many of the best restaurants in Idaho Falls are within walking distance. The Green Belt is directly in back of the motel, allowing access to miles of riverfront walking and recreation.

The location is between other hotels and an industrial area.....Front desk clerk on check in was curt, not smiling, stressed. Room was clean, but smelled like sour bleach. Linen was fine but the comforter had a stain. Breakfast was fine.....good coffee. Again, OK for a night, but will not make a point of returning.

Rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the staff is professional and courteous. The remodel is beautiful. Breakfast is top shelf, The free newspaper is a bonus. It feels like home. Recommend to all.

Nice hotel, great location and suited our needs perfectly. We stayed on "reward points". Didn't have time to use the pool or other amenities, but everything looked lovely. Clean and comfortable. Easy to find from the I15. Pleasant, professional staff.

This hotel has very nice rooms. It felt like a new hotel inside. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint I have is with the guests. People were walking up and down halls all night. They were talking loud and just being obnoxious. Other than that it was a great hotel with a great location.

Loved this Best Western! Beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced at any hotel. Rooms were quiet and clean. The breakfast room was clean (until a bus load of kids descended upon it), with ample selection. The only criticism I have if for the parents of the children!

We stayed here for a night recently and were very impressed. The hotel has recently undergone a makeover and it shows, because it looks top notch. The rooms are a good size, are very modern and clean with new fittings and appliances. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and the staff were all lovely. Try the waffles! There's also a large indoor pool area with a small gym. It's about a solid 10 to 15 minute walk to the Idaho Falls, but there are restaurants surrounding the hotel, including a Denny's right across the road and an Outback Steakhouse a one-minute walk away. Highly recommended!

The Best Western Plus Cottonwood Inn at Idaho Falls ID was clean and comfortable. It was newly refurbished. The breakfast room was clean and the food was well prepared and well maintained. I would recommend this facility to others.

All hotels should be as good as Cottonyree Best Western Plus. Customer services shine. The lobby is enchanting with a crystal type fireplace. Have never seen any thing like it. Daisies in small glass vases with lemons in the water everywhere. Ice water & coffee & mints& USA Today at all times complementary in the lobby. Cookies at check in. Nicely designed rooms with great space & amenities. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Good quality shampoo, soap,etc. Problems resolved quickly. Breakfast tasty, hot & good variety for any appetite. Cheery wait staff & checkin & housekeeping/ maintenance staff. Thankd.

We drove into town, went by the Best Western Desert Inn (a three diamond AAA). Finally found the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn. We were astonished, this is rated two diamonds by AAA, but is an almost new location, Neat, Clean, Quiet and Comfortable. We would highly recommend this location to any traveler that wants a nice hotel, complete with pool and a great restaurant right across the street. Breakfast was very good.

Great friendly staff. Clean and welcoming .We can a real good experience. The front desk was More then willing to help with directions and maps of the town and how to get back to the I15 We will definitely be staying there again, and recommending this property to friends

Hotel is in a very convenient location, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast fairly robust. However, the WIFI did not work. When I called the front desk, they informed me that it doesn't work when there are so many guests at the hotel, and that there was nothing they could do about it.

We came in at nightfall to a full parking lot. The adjacent area is unsightly but if you already ate dinner, just park and go into hotel. Check-in was easy. The hotel as many reviewers mentioned was recently updated and were were very content with the room. My wife thought the bed was especially comfortable, the TV was able to swivel for viewing from the couch in addition to the bed. The bathroom was small but tastefully decorated in addition to the pleasing colors in the room. My only complaint is the lighting using energy efficient type lighting. I requested a quiet room away from elevator and or stairs and our wish was granted. Thank you to management for that. Oh, breakfast was a 2.5 stars out of 5. .....could be better. Overall, for the price we were happy and do plan on returning next week as we stop over on our way to our Montana property.

The recent remodel of this hotel with from the beautiful interior of the rooms to the comfortable and homey feeling of the reception area is a tremendous improvement. The friendly hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel right at home.

The presentation of the motel was very nice, the staff were very accommodating, and the room was very comfortable. I did appreciate the fact that that the pool and spa were open 24 hrs and even though I got to the motel later in the evening I could still get in the hot tub to relax my back.

Everything about the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn in Idaho Falls was very inviting and very pleasing. The hotel and lobby were very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was quite beautiful and vey comfortable. It was easy to access their WI-FI. Felt like home. Thank you!!

Great hotel. Stopped here as an overnight on a road trip and was very happy. Room had a fridge that worked, the bed was excellent, the air conditioner worked, the TV was HD and had lots of channels and the breakfast was good. Asked for an email receipt and was emailed a receipt. This hotel is the reason why I stay in Best Westerns.

We stay here 1 or 2 times a year. This is a nice hotel but plumbing can be suspect at times (e.g., our toilet flusher had completely eroded away and we had to flush by pulling up on the flap from inside the toilet tank!). But, they can/will put you on the 1st floor which is often hard to get in a BW hotel when you just show up without a reservation. Also, next door to Denny's and Outback (over-priced, methinks!).

This hotel was easy to get to; it's a nice hotel, clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. Breakfast was the norm, but served its purpose. Several dining options very close to the hotel. We would stay again.

A pleasant surprise - I had stayed here before - newly remodeled - some great decorative embellishments very nice place -quite lovely - a caring, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, staff - they really went out of their way to make my stay pleasant- a very nice indoor pool - good breakfasts (gratis) a wide range of foodstuffs - I will be back as business requires

This hotel really was so very nice - we had a doggie room and it was amazing! The updated rooms was so nice in every way... breakfast was so good, so much variety we loved it and my Sons family loved it also. The pool was so very nice also - my Granddaughter learned to not be afraid of water ...so great for us ;) of course she swam a lot since this pool is open 24 hours!!! One of our best stays in any hotel ... loved it and thank you Liz for being so sweet to us !!!

I slept in a recently renovated room that had a very comfortable bed, great shower, along with a good refrigerator. The room was clean and I would stay here again if in Idaho Falls again. It is conveniently located to Interstate 15 and US Highway 20 headed to Rexburg and YellowStone National Park. I can recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. The pool and work out area was very nice and clean. The breakfast area was clean and well taken care of and the food was very good. Overall enjoyed our stay. I am a smoker but get non smoking rooms. could have a better smoking area. Parking was good too . Thanks for the pleasurably stay.

We stay at this hotel on a regular basis. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool and hot tub are nice, convenient and always clean. There is adequate parking. Interesting places to walk near the river close to the hotel. Great Restaurant, Jackers, is across the street. Several eating establishments close by. Close to the freeway. Highly recommend this facility.

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and it was rather old and run down back then. They had just finished a remodel days before we checked in so it is very nice and smells clean and new. The pool is nice and big and unlike most hotel pools it is warm.

Clean. Quiet! Restful. Friendly. Spacious. Good coffee and breakfast selection. I want to go back! The hotel was all non-smoking as far as I could tell. Close to several restaurants and a grocery store. Beautifully remodeled recently.

Excellent facility. The facility and all of the rooms have been remodeled. The room décor is very attractive as well as comfortable if you just want to relax in your room. Superior location for dining and freeway access. Staff here is superior.

Very comfortable and accommodating. Great beds and bedding, loved the lounger, shower, breakfast, coffee and service. Did not like the room lighting as it is the bright LEDs. Close to interstate, so convenient, and the price was the best out there.

An overnight stay. The lobby was torn up with a remodel but the rooms have all been completed. Probably by now its all done. Nice rooms have been completely redone, nice new fixtures and finishes. Convenient to restaurants and stores. Helpful staff.

Although the hotel was undergoing renovation at the time I was there, all went well considering the interuption with construction. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room, completely renovated was comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfast was complete and better than usual for a Best Western. A pleasant stay.

Stopped for one night whiling travelling home. Rooms are all newly renovated and great bed and pillow selection. Lobby still under renovation but will be finished soon. Hotel has a great breakfast included with your stay that starts a 6:00 AM. There is an Outback Resturant and a Denny's right next door.

This property was chaotic as the entire lobby and breakfast area was completely gutted, and most common areas were difficult to navigate and congestion was the main issue. They set up various rooms to set up temporary breakfast serving stations and dining areas. It was a great job and the food quality did not suffer at all. But most importantly, the customer service was outstanding. The room was in excellent condition. Given the very extensive remodel, it should be stressed that a safe environment was projected at all times during my stay.

The lobby was under construction, but the workers where nice, and nothing was closed off except a door. I have stayed here before they redid the rooms. They have improved them, I love the curtains, they need these curtains in Alaska for the summer months.

Comfortable, Quiet and a good value. All the staff are good. The hotel is under remodel, however, the staff are doing all the can to keep the guests comfortable. The new rooms are great. The hotel is in a very nice location. this is just a great place to stay.

The staff have always treated us kindly, great breakfast, warm swimming pool and always very clean... even our little fur body loves it here... we wanted to just order food in and the front desk gave us different menus and restaurants to order from, and the fresh home made cookies warmed our tummies after long hours on the road, from the cheery smiles at the front desk to the cheery smiles at breakfast makes the end of the day and the early morning much better...

Best breakfast at a hotel ever...Scrambled eggs were fresh and from real eggs! Lots of choices and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay what we needed. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

We arrived after a long day of driving , wanted to rest as we had another long day the next day. The room had been redone very nicely, bed really comfortable , but the noise from the hallway and next door were very loud. The bathrooms are also very tiny, could barely move around. The morning continental was adequate and checkout was easy.

After a 12 hour drive to Idaho Falls from Northern Alberta we were ready for a good sleep. Well we found it . The Hotel Reception Clerk was outstanding and answered all of our questions and more. The Hotels 1 st floor is being renovated, however the 2 nd and 3 rd floors are complete. Sure there was a few little messes , however it was not bad and certainly understandable. Our room was on the 2 nd floor , it was freshly renovated. It was well appointed with a very nice room darkening Roman Shade that worked very well. The only thing we noted is that there were large chips in the "New" Bathtub . Seems strange for a newly renovated room . We did utilize the well kept Pool and Jacuzzi area open 24 hrs . The Breakfest in the morning was also very good with a good variety of morning goodies . Once again the staff was very helpful . Needless to say we were well rested and ready to go in the AM .

We have stayed here several times and it is always a pleasant experience. They are renovating the hotel and are doing a fantastic job. We stayed in a renovated room and it was really great. I would recommend this Best Western to any traveler.

This is one of the best "Best Western" hotels. great price, clean hotel, with nice rooms, excellent people, good location. Good amenities, good breakfast, and they offer discounts on local restaurants.

Stayed here on Jan 13/14 2016. Was put on the third floor in a newly remodeled king bed rm. Really a nice way room. Everything has been refreshed. .. nice combination of tile and carpet floors. ..extremely comfortable bed...great color combinations. There continues to be "under construction" however nothing inconvenienced us. NOW THE BREAKFAST... why oh why are most places going to the flavorless micro thin bacon. ...one suggestion. STOP.. It's bad enough we get the rubber omlettes. ...but that bacon adds insult to injury. The breakfast area is well taken care of and is very clean.. Overall stay was impressive. Very clean...great staff... give it a try.

Really great room for the money, despite being under construction upgrade to better furniture and new beds, rooms were warm and comfortable, and nice pool area and hot tub I would definitely come back if in the area.

Great pool & reliable internet. Decent breakfast, though the set up was odd as the stations were extremely far from each other. Nice staff. I would like to see the bathroom updated to ensure new caulking and ventilation.

I have been staying at this location about once a month for a decade and it is still the best value, best service, friendliest people of any city I travel to! Not to mention the remodel is wonderful, nice big hot tub and a great hot breakfast.

We stayed in a just-renovated room. Fresh, clean, well appointed, very quiet. Acceptable breakfast included: menu seemed limited but there were fewer guests than usual because of rooms under reconstruction. Very helpful front desk.

VERY HAPPY. The room had been recently remodeled - everything was brand new, beautiful. Amenities were perfect. Breakfast was hot and had great variety. Staff were very helpful - responded immediately when questions were asked.

Stayed at Idaho Falls BW during our Christmas trip to visit family. Due to length of trip/winter weather, we stayed at BW twice both going and coming to our destination. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They put us in their newly remodeled rooms for both stays. Very large selection for breakfast. Plenty of fresh/hot food. Boyds coffee in two locations. Really appreciated as the temperature was below zero both mornings.

This hotel is just off the I-15 has has all the services one requires, it's safe, warm and comfortable. with fuel services just across the street, just ideal for quick overnight stopping and an ample supply of places to eat close by.

Wonderful staff, great beds and breakfast. Clean even though they were doing remodling. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed as the weather was not good and we had to stay an extra day.

The hotel is under major reconstruction mode. Workers there until 6:00 pm (they should be out sooner as guests usually are arriving by this time and need peace and quiet). Pillows very lumpy - need something more firm. Waited over 5 minutes before front desk checked us in (employee was on phone with another customer, but having worked front desk myself, ALL transactions should take no more than 2-3 minutes if you know what you are doing and type with both hands). Just when we were to check in, another phone call. I told the employee to put the phone and take care of us first. Rule #1: THE GUEST IN THE LOBBY IS ALWAYS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE ONE ON THE PHONE!!!!! The person on the phone should be put on hold while the person in front of you is taken care of. Lobby common area computer had to be reset so that I could use it. For a Best Western Plus property, this place is only so-so. I don't know how it qualifies with the Plus status. As a Diamond Member, I expect more than what I got.

We just spent one night at this particular hotel, but right from check in to check out it was a very pleasant stay. The fresh baked cookies at the desk were perfect!! Very clean and well maintained hotel. Would highly recommend this particular hotel.

We always stay there coming and going for our winter in the south, excellent rooms, and excellent breakfast. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, was disappointed this time as no grits and gravy... my once a year treat...

We pass through Idaho Falls at least once a year and always stay at the Cottontree. The office staff are very pleasant and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Their breakfast looks great, however we usually check out by 5:00 AM when traveling. Even then there is coffee and muffins available that we take along for the road.
