Best Western Plus Hotel Sam Houston Inn & Suites, Houston

First time staying at this hotel and were not disappointed. The establishment is very clean, the rooms are large and the beds comfy. The included breakfast is excellent. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay, perfect location and awesome staff! The beds are the most comfortable ones I've ever slept on! Continental breakfast has a great variety - especially my favorite TEXAS waffles! The pool is very well maintained and staff is so friendly and helpful!

Not safe and infested as well as broken toilets which I reported and was promptly thrown out and accosted in the parking lot by him and his teenage boy. I am a single female just FYI. NOT UP TO PAR. READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality for my money that I received in Best Western Plus hotel on N Sam Houston Highway in Houston. The price was lower that some other hotels where I stayed on the road but quality was better. Some other hotels did not even have hot water and charged me more for their crappy rooms. Best Western Plus hotel has a clean, nice room and bathroom, nice bed, pool, gym, and everything was in a good shape. Breakfast was good too with several choices of food, coffee in room and in the lobby in the morning. It was also more peaceful stay that some other highway hotels which is why I extended my stay for a couple of more nights.

From the minute I walked in the door they were very helpful courteous and polite going above and beyond. Not being from Texas he took the time to explain where things are good places to eat. It is a very friendly environment and when I get off work I feel like I can go there and relax. It has a nice comfortable atmosphere in the lobby and in the dining area very clean.

The stay was a disappointment, it did not meet the standard BW Plus it felt like a cheap motel once checking in the room. We got there at night and took long to check in and they only gave us 1 room key (not a big deal but odd that they wouldn't ask, plus we just wanted to get in and get ready to sleep. Got in our room and we were so tired and didn't notice a lot of the uncleanliness until we were getting ready for a shower. We noticed there was only 1 bath towel, called the front desk and they told me it'd be 10 min before they give me another (this was fine). I waited about 25 min before calling the front desk again to notify that I was still needed a towel and they told me someone was just about to go. Got it and was able to shower, please note the towels feel old and run down and are small. when I was getting ready for bed I had turned on a few more lights and noticed the floor hadn't been vacuumed and one of the walls had a dark drink splatter on it. I hate to complain on just a 1 night stay especially from getting in from a long workday and drive (luckily, I had sandals). I had to finish some office work before bed and the Wi-Fi did not work at all. I had to use my hot spot from my phone. Next morning when I opened the curtains, I saw exactly how dirty the room was. I was going to book for another night in a different clean room but at this point I wanted to leave. I have to do some office work before hitting the road again and I asked the front desk for a late check-out and she didn't seem too happy about me asking, she was kind of rude. While I was working, I can hear one of the room service attendants obnoxiously talking loud on the phone. This went on for about 30 min before I couldn't handle being in the dirty and loud room anymore, I packed up and left before my late check-out. Overall between the one room key, old small towels, dirty room, slow check-in, delayed responses and slightly rude interaction this definitely felt like a cheap motel. Oh and two last things, the pod coffee machine was extremely dirty and was kept in the bathroom near the toilet and the elevator looked like it had been wiped with a dirty rag, there were super visible smears all over the door. Looked like someone just spread some dirty and water on it and called it good. The only thing that was clean and beautiful was the lobby.

It's was a short notice that we decided to book a room. I always stay at best western. They are the best. The rooms are very clean and nice. The appearance in the lobby is everything. The service was nice .

This hotel was an excellent choice, very clean, updated amenities, quiet, fenced completely around parking lot with ornamental 6' fence. And for the very economical price we paid, it could only be called a hidden gem. On a business trip and knew we would arrive very late at night, sleep only and then off again. So we randomly chose this hotel for its price. Most of the time you get what you pay for, especially on a ‘guess' type hotel pick. We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Very clean, some road noise but not excessive. Spacious room. Great water pressure. They even had keurig coffee maker inside the room. We will definitely return here anytime we stay. Oh and this price was the absolute lowest around that area!
