Older motor lodge but everything was very clean with newer beds. Linens were good quality and clean. Plenty of towels and hot water. Nice breakfast area and food was plentiful. Check in quick and staff extremely friendly. Their recommendation for supper, Mesa Italian Restaurant was very good

Motel style - rooms open to parking lot. Basic room. Clean. Friendly staff. Bathroom fixtures are old - tub w/ shower. Coffee maker. Fridge. Breakfast is typical - some cereal & some hot food. Couch in room - very old w/ worn out cushions & slip cover.

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The room was immaculate and staff was welcoming. Had to work and the internet gave me no troubles which was my biggest concern. The property was clean and updated.

We had a great nights stay at Best Western Arizonian Inn. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was quiet. The breakfast was great! Everyone was so kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

The room was clean and very cold when we arrived. Took a while to get it warm. The hotel attendant was not very helpful about making reservations online to use the rewards that we had. We did not receive the free waters for being Platinum members. The breakfast was basic but good and hot.

I am a Best Western Diamond member, as well as being a diamond member with many other hotel chains.In my thousands of hotel stays, mostly business and vacation stays, I have never been more rudely treated as I was tonight. I am an 80 year old Navy veteran with bad knees. I asked to park close to my room (as there were many vacant spaces), but the rude manager said I had to move my truck to a lot some distance away, because “RULES ARE RULES” IF YOU ARE A SENIOR CITIZEN (EVEN IF YOU ARE A VETERAN) OR IF YOU NEED HELP IN ANY WAY, I'D SUGGEST YOU LOOK ELSEWARE! “RULES ARE RULES! NO EXCEPTIONS” PER THE NIGHT MANAGER.

We were lucky to find this great property - Terrific and very kind & helpful staff!. Close to the freeway, large parking lot, close to food services - Room was clean and quiet. If traveling Route 40 again aka Route 66 I would definitely stay there again. I like that they moved to the QR code for tipping - so much easier to show my appreciation.

My family stayed for 1 night. The hotel was clean outside and the staff was very professional and courteous. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Even the coffee maker in the room had good coffee. I would definitely go back to best Western specially in Holbrook Arizona.

Older motel (1979, I asked), but outstanding quality. Staff was excellent, breakfast was good, room was very clean (Glorianna cleaned it), I look at some minor details. The sink drain worked as did the tub drain. Many motels I stay at have slow moving drains. Towels were nice and fresh. If you are in the area, stay at this motel. JT

Don't pass this great hotel up. Nice and friendly staff, clean rooms , really comfortable beds and breakfast was great and opened on time. Very nice! We travel a lot and rarely do we see hotels meet all expectations with our budget, this one knocked it out of the park especially the beds. We will definitely make it back to this Best Western on our future trips!

Check-In and Out was easy:) Breakfast had plenty of the normal BW options:) The young lady running breakfast had the area organized, clean and full! She was friendly and engaging:) Room came off clean:) Good TV and internet service:) Comfortable bed and pillows:) Love. BW bath towels as always:) The shower was hard to turn on and set temperature:( Shower head was old and weak:( Older hotel, but in good shape. would stay again.

Located in a quiet part of town. Stayed here after visiting Petrified Forrest National Park...perfect location. We requested a 2nd floor room which we received. Beware that there is no elevator, so you will have to carry your bags up stairs. I used the pool here, which I don't usually do when I'm travelling. I don't like public pools. It was very refreshing. Got to see the sunset while I was swimming. Very memorable. Breakfast was the typical BW fare. The stay was nothing special (except swimming in an empty pool), but it was perfect for our needs.

I booked our rooms based on others' reviews who said the motel was very clean and the staff friendly. I was SO happy to find that the reviews were accurate! The check-in staff were welcoming and helpful, even though we arrived later in the evening. They made sure that our two rooms were next to each other, as we were traveling with our teens. Our rooms were HUGE and well-appointed. It seems as though the motel is currently renovating some rooms, as our bathroom was upgraded, while our sons' was not. However, everything was very clean.

Don't know why this hotel is No. 7 on Tripadvisor... Stayed here twice in the last week, and I am really impressed. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable beds, large rooms, wonderful wifi, customer service is great. Everything here has been an A++ Breakfast is very good. Lots to choose from--eggs, potatoes, sausage,bacon, muffins, cereals, yogurt, fruit, there are plenty of drinks to choose from --- I'm sure I forgot something. The girl who does the breakfast is super nice, and she talks to everyone making sure all is well. The pool is nice and kept clean.. nice in the 100 degree weather... Make sure to stop here on your way down the interstate... You won't be disappointed..

This is an old fashioned hotel with two floors and all accessed from the outside. The room was extremely clean. Breakfast was great and breakfast staff extremely nice and helpful. This isn't a glamorous hotel but it's clean and has large rooms. There is nothing better in the area.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast really made it though. Staff was friendly, and the food was good. Great selection. I do miss the iconic Best Western biscuits and gravy, but the eggs and sausage were very good. The coffee was excellent.

For an obviously dated hotel, this Best Western was very well done. One can tell that they put a lot of effort into keeping things clean and neat. Our room had everything we needed for the one night we were staying. We would stay again if needed.

Traveling with family for a sporting event in Winslow. Many families, we didn't get to hotel until after 10 pm and some families reservations had "lost confirmations". Thankfully we were able to share rooms with others who had an extra bed or sofa. Unacceptable. also got charged for an extra day, fighting with that now. Also, don't clean rooms daily

Old style Route 66 motel that was fine for a one night stay. Although on the main road it was quite and we slept well. Breakfast was included and the panckae machine was good once it was working. Only one person was covering breakfast and reception which was somewhat unfair on her.

Receptionist was argumentative and more interested in being right, than in helping me figure out why my room wasn't prepaid. I finally figured it out on my own and let her know. She would not work for me in any position dealing with customer service. The room was pet friendly. It was all she had on the first floor and my three back surgeries make it hard to manage stairs, especially with bags and after driving ten hours. She was not happy about me needing a first floor room. The room STANK. I own a dog kennel that boards 80-160 dogs per night. It is not necessary for the room to smell like a wet, dirty dog just because it is pet friendly. I had to get my febreeze from the car and spray the room so I could sleep. The smell caused a headache and sinus issues. I had to find some sinus medicine. The bed was horrible. It was very hard and uncomfortable. The blanket was inadequate for a freezing, snowy night with the equivalent of an open window for a door! The entry door did not seal. Not only can you see light from outside all around the door, cold air comes in constantly! Another customer parked his diesel truck in front of my room and left it idling the next morning. My room filled with diesel fumes. I had to use my inhaler. There was no way to vent the fumes. I left as quickly as I could get my stuff together. Someone was behind the barrier in reception. They coughed when I came in to check out, but no attempt was made to ask if I needed anything. I left my keycard and got out of there. How hard is it to be pleasant and offer good customer service? I stay at best western because it is affordable and still clean and comfortable and it is usually consistent! This was a rinky-dink, side-of-the -road motel experience at best. It certainly was NOT worth more than the other BW hotels I used on my trip!

Barking dog for almost 3 hours and front desk said I could check out??? Really, why am I penalized? They had a "I don't care the dog is barking for 3 hours" attitude!! I'm sure the owners of the dog had no penalty, only me, the guest. Maybe hotels should have dog sections.

Great find after a long travelling day and our expectations were hardly what we found. And were pleasantly surprised to find bacon and pancakes available for breakfast Also, the room and the whole property was very clean.

I stay in LOTS of hotels. This is by far one of the worst experiences I have had. Beside the bathroom being very small and hard to do your business in the coffee in the rooms and food at their breakfast was horrible. I don't believe the coffee packets in our room was even coffee! It literally tasted like dirty dishwater and was undrinkable - not just bad, but literally undrinkable. If it was coffee it must have been 20 years old and had absolutely no coffee smell or taste whatsoever. We waited for breakfast before getting on the road - it is served later than most hotels. WHAT A MISTAKE. The only thing 'hot' on their hot breakfast was powdered eggs and brown and serve sausages that were both done in the microwave. The eggs had no flavor at all and the 'brown n serve' sausages had been microwaved for so long that they were hard pieces of crap you couldn't even chew. This place would be far better off not offering a breakfast than trying to call what they have edible food. If you want repeat business at least make some kind of effort! It's obvious this place does not care at all. I would sleep in my van before I would stay here again!

Room was clean and bed was good. So the important things are covered. They still have shampoo etc. in tiny containers, not the more environmentally friendly wall-hanged dispensers. Room not sound insulated, so noise from early leavers (engines warming up, klaxons, quarrelling etc.) went right through. Breakfast was OK with a choice of warm items (egg, sausages, potatoes, paniskes)

One man at the front desk was so rude I walked out the door crying. Incredibly hostile when I asked a simple question, tried to gaslight me and would not help me with anything I asked. I waited 4 hours for my room to get cleaned, I was told it would be ready at 10:30am even though it should've been ready the night before because I RESERVED IT. I go in at 10:45am to ask politely if my room is ready and this man says nope not till 12. I ask why I was told 10:30am 4 hours prior and this man says “I've been here for 4 hours and I wasn't the one who told you that” and then tried to say he was the only one working all morning, yet 4 hours prior I talked to 2 different front desk workers who told me 10:30am. He even tried to say my reservation wasn't in the system when I was pulling up multiple emails proving it was. He then refused to edit my reservation when I was trying to EXTEND IT and was extremely short with me. I was exhausted from travel, exhausted from waiting 4 hours for absolutely nothing, and this man was the cherry on top of that disgusting motel. The week prior I stayed here and my AC broke, there were bugs in my room and my towel rack fell straight off the wall. AVOID THIS MOTEL. Prices are LAUGHABLE for how disgustingly cheap this place actually is. You best believe I'm finding out how to email corporate because this location is a joke. My entire crew (I'm here for a work trip) is moving hotels because of my experience and how dumpy this place is. Good. Riddance.

From the outside, this looks more like a Motel 6 than a Best Western. We were nervous as we walked into a lobby the size of a walk-in closet. However, from that moment forward we were amazed over and over. The room interior was dated, yet impeccably clean and functional. The staff was incredibly friendly but in a real way. Each employee took any request or question we had and resolved or answered it. Not once did they try to send me to someone else. They accepted that it WAS their job to assist me.

I wasn't sure what we would find in such a small town but I was very pleased with this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and smelled fresh. The workers were very helpful and one even lugged my heavy suitcase up the flight of stairs. The breakfast was great! Tons of options and just overall great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Was slightly hesitant when booking in as this Hotel is an older type Motel establishment, and I have had issues with such accommodation before. However on checking in we were given a great room, and for the 2 nights we were there it was all good. Have to say that the bed was superb, and I had the best nights sleep I've had for many a year staying there. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was a little disorganised but there was only one member of staff on and she was doing breakfast and reception at the same time, and on the whole was a very little isse for us. In all other respects we had a great stay.

Mike was the only bright side to this stay, he's a great ambassador for your brand. I had one of three nights paid with points that I was told by best western was no problem, room started the same, etc. Checked in to find out that it would have to re-register for that third night but it could do it second morning after breakfast. Tried to do that, poor woman didn't seem to know exactly what to do. Toilet works poorly, AC either stays on until you freeze or it shuts it off entirely. While it's nice the shower is set high enough for taller people, it would be even better if the shower head wasn't frozen at the trickle spray. Towels and washcloths have never met fabric softener. Internet is lousy, I couldn't even download my pics from camera to ipad. NOT the quality I would expect

We usually only stay at Best Western because we're rewards members. Hubby booked this location for the second stop on our way to Las Vegas (we stayed at the new Amarillo location on our 1st stop). This place is expensive, ran down and stunk. They charged us for our teenager which is the 1st time we've been charged for any child under 17. We complained and the guy at the front desk said that Best Western locations are independently owned and they couldn't do anything about it. My husband told him to cancel our reservation for the next week returning home and of course it's done through the website. We wanted to cancel our reservation for that evening but because it was too late and couldn't get a refund we were stuck staying here. Our room was old, outdated and stunk. The toilet in the bathroom was short enough for a toddler and horrible for anyone over 2 feet tall. There were problems with the bathroom door sticking, gouges on a wall. Old outdated hair dryer and a plug in that my curling iron wouldn't stay plugged into. The courtesy conditioner bottle didn't have anything in it (I'm glad I brought my own). The little refrigerator didn't have a knob on it to turn it on, The paint colors are old and outdated. We were given tickets for breakfast which is stupid. When we did go to breakfast the next morning the lady that was running the breakfast bar picked and chose who she asked for tickets. The sausage links were hard and overcooked. We don't know how corporate Best Western put their name on this Expensive run down place but they apparently aren't looking at the property. The only good thing is the beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works really well but that's a lot of money for those only 2 items. Lastly the front desk guys don't give a darn and are no help. If you want to see what a really beautiful Best Western location looks like look at the new one in Amarillo.

It's conveniently located from the interstate I am a Best Western's remored member and the staff recognized it immediately the rooms were clean and nice and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available. The room's had the space I needed and a Mini refrigerator and coffee I currently everything was working just fine and very clean cause I said I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that it could the hotel was great and made for relaxing stay. I have stayed here twice a year usually in January and then later on in April for 4 years usually for at least a couple nights sometimes three each stay. I've had a good experience every time.

Our room was a good size with a nice bath and dressing area. The water was very HOT! The air was noisy and really cold. The temperature was hard to adjust. We had a good breakfast. I would stay here again

Older motel but very clean. The entire staff was extremely helpful. A surprisingly great place to stay while on the road. Would recommend this as a place to stay on a long trip. Hotel is going through a upgrade so looking forward to next stay

Air condition was not cold enough. We were not told about the 'breakfast' ticket we supposed to bring to the breakfast room which were hidden inside the room-key's sleeve. Coffee is only available during breakfast hour, there is no coffee in the lobby, not what I expected from BW! The breakfast items was what I expected from BW. The breakfast room attendant asked if I put the ticket into the box, I was confused and asked 'what ticket', she said there's a ticket inside the room-key sleeve, I said I do not know about it and no one told me about it at check-in. I was embarrassed because other guests were looking at me. She asked me to show her my room key which she 'inspected' it, then OK'd me to have the breakfast. Soon after, I heard a non-minority lady said that she did not bring her ticket either, but can tell the attendance her room number, the attendance said no that's ok! Why did the attendance ask for the lady's room key? I understand and do not mind that it is her job to make sure that the people who eat there are their hotel guests, but please be consistent, ask everyone for his/her room key if he/she didn't bring the ticket, not just ask the minority!

In my opinion, this motel was too expensive. I was not satisfied with the HVAC central air conditioning in my room. Despite the thermostat being set at the coolest setting, my guest room was not comfortably cool which made it difficult for me to sleep. The swimming pool was not open in the morning so I was not able to use the pool. There is a beautiful pool here and was the reason I chose to stay here. None of the employees I encountered were very friendly. I just did not feel very welcome here.

I've stayed here a few times and when the rates are reasonable I stay whenever I'm in need. As a woman traveling alone it's extremely important that I feel safe and I always have here. It's clean and friendly and that's all I need when traveling.

If you are heading to the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert area, this is the motel to stay. Well-appointed rooms, clean, easy on/off to Interstate 40, and the full breakfast is excellent! Be sure to stop at all the roadside rock shops, they are great, with good prices and selections of souvenirs, jewelry, tee shirts and petrified wood for sale!

This place is in the middle of no where but was the right time to stop on my long road trip. The place is out of the 70s but my room was super clean and the breakfast is free and good. The lady who runs the breakfast is super friendly so overall if you need a clean place to stay in this area I would recommend based on my 1 night stay.

This is the first time we have stayed in a Best Western property for about 7 or 8 years. This was a good value for the city (Holbrook, AZ). Breakfast was free and included scrambled eggs, sausage and a variety of other breakfast foods. Room was quiet and clean.

Mostly clean, we had a cracked toilet seat and there was an open can of Twisted Tea in our fridge. The check in staff was a bit unfriendly, like we were bothering them. The breakfast employee was great though. Pretty good breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, bacon, pancake machine, etc). Didn't use the pool. The staircase nearest to our room was being worked on so it was closed off, so had to use the end stairs to lug everything up. Be careful of the stairs, they are all cement and VERY steep (especially the first step), I almost fell a couple times because that first step down was so steep. Pricing was a bit higher for a "budget" hotel than I was expecting. Beds were a bit hard as well.

This is without a doubt the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in. The staff are rude and uncaring. The hotel charges $20 dollars extra to stay on first floor knowing that these rooms are requested by Handicapped and elderly guest. Terrible way to make a few extra dollars. The lady who checked in ahead of me was Handicapped and they charges her the extra for a Handicapped room. I was one of 11 people who had to wait to check in for 90 minutes because they said they had no rooms clean but we all watched and the maids were done. I stay at Best Westerns over 100 nights a year on business but I will never stay at this property again. I would prefer to sleep in my car or at the Motel 8 next door.

This hotel was just so-so. The room was clean but unlike other reviewers we didn't have a good breakfast experience. The items were not replenished and the room itself was small & uninviting. Our biggest complaint was the fact that there were guests right outside our room (a rather large group) talking, laughing and drinking until well past 10pm. I'm not opposed to people gathering and having fun (been there myself at a hotel) but the placement of chairs, etc. should have been farther away from any rooms. Also, I feel that mgt. should have spoken to them when it got later. Or...don't put guests in that room; it didn't look like the hotel was full. Overall, I'm pretty sure we would not stay at this facility again.

I would recommend staying at the new La Quinta in Holbrook the Best Western is old outdated and dirty. I was really disappointed booking at this property and will never return. The rooms are old they have a smell and the towels needed to be replaced. Also should let guests know when their pool/spa is not working!

This hotel is reasonably priced and conveniently located. Though nothing fancy, it had recently been redecorated and was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Also, the free breakfast was considerably better than that provided at similar hotels - a good selection of hot and cold food, good coffee, fresh juice, and yogurt. All in all, good value for money.

We spent one night here. Check-in was quick and the clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Everything except one lamp worked well. Nothing special here, pretty average and served us well. Breakfast was very good with several hot items - eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. The only negative for me was that the bed was hard and I had a hard time sleeping. My wife slept fine and had no complaints. We'd gladly stay here again

We tried to check in early but were told to come back at 3pm for check in. When 3pm came around, I went back into the lobby to get the keys to our room. The front desk associate and the manager (Dakota) informed me that the room was still not ready and did not give a time when the room would be ready. I was told that "housekeeping was still working on it." When I objected and stated that we were told the room would be ready at check-in, Dakota repeatedly interrupted me and told me that I "should just listen to me." He repeatedly told me that "you have no idea how hard my housekeepers work" and continually dismissed my concerns and objections. As he was talking, he repeatedly took steps toward me and (as a woman), I found this to be aggressive, threatening, and demonstrative. Eventually, I left the lobby and my husband went back in. He demanded a refund and stated that we were not comfortable staying at the hotel, and Dakota refused to refund us our money.

The room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was good. The check in staff was incredibly nice. Exactly what you want for a room by the freeway when you are on a driving trip. Absolutely worth the price.

Was happy upon arrival that desk staff were both behind plexi-glass and wearing masks and they had my requested room type waiting for me. Also received bottled water as rewards members. Room and bathroom were good sized. Bed was very comfortable, got a good night's sleep. Had a very large vanity with plenty of room for all your things. Heater worked very well, only had to have it on a short time. Wifi worked well. There is a Denny's in the parking lot, so very convenient if you are tired and don't want to venture out. Breakfast had a good selection - eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit cup, and yogurt. Only it was all a little cool. The warming trays needed turned up or something. There was a box of gloves to use, but most people didn't. The breakfast room is small, so try to get there early. They need to recover the seat on the bench. Only negatives were that the toilet was absolutely the shortest one I've ever used. It was uncomfortable and difficult to get up. There weren't very many TV channels.

There are a lot of hotel options in Holbrook. The Best Western is way overpriced. No additional amenities. Keep looking. Or simply keep driving. That's about all there is to say. Except that the review requires 200 characters.

It was a vintage motel. Clean and comfortable. Do pay extra money for 1st floor because no elevators. Breakfast so so. Eggs needed to be warmer. No bread. Easy exit from 40. Good beds. Perhaps a bit expensive for what we got. Construction workers stayed there-not a problem for us.

This BW needs a complete overhaul, from the grump behind the desk, to the lousy lighting in the room, to the peeling furniture in the breakfast room. We won't even discuss the watery scrambled eggs... The even skimp on pillows on the bed! Bring your own conditioner, and if there is more than one of you, you will have to ask for more shampoo right away. Bring a flashlight as well; adequate lighting is not high on their list of guest room priorities. Luckily, I managed to avoid cutting myself on the broken dish on the bathroom counter; keep your eyes out in case you get the same one.

Having never stayed at a Best Western and Holbrook having limited options, we decided to give it a try. It was unfortunately one of the worst hotel stays experienced in Arizona. Pros: good price Cons: Person at the front desk seemed miserable. We tried to chat him up but he would have none of it. He was equally as miserable upon leaving. Deceptive advertising - there is no elevator - to be on the first floor you had to pay considerably more money. So, you have to climb 2 flights of stairs with your luggage. The room is old and reminiscent of a bad 70s hotel. The carpet was dark and foreboding. Mattress was beyond soft and needs to be replaced. Room itself was dark and nasty looking. While you cannot hear the train, you can hear cars starting up at 5:30 in the morning and the road traffic. I will never stay at a Best Western again. If you are driving keep going to Benson .

Easy check in, and the rooms were remodeled. Very clean and nice. They had a buffet breakfast that was good, but you couldn't eat in the office area. It was very comparable to other breakfasts we have had before. It was a grab and go. Worked out great for us.

While the place is a little dated, the staff is so friendly and go out of there way to make your stay a pleasant one. I have stayed here several times and have always had a good experience. After you have been in your room for a half hour or so, they always call to make sure everything is ok and if you need anything. The rooms are kind of old fashioned but are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The carpeting is new since my last stay and I can see where they have been repainting as needed. Due to Covid restrictions the breakfast was to go only, so that was a little unfortunate but it was that way mostly my whole trip across the Midwest.

I made this reservation over the phone. THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL DID NOT DETAIL A CANCELLATION POLICY. We called before noon on the day of the reservation. We asked to cancel because we were traveling more quickly than expected. We were denied cancallation and charted $134. I am very dissatisfied with the greediness of the property management and of Best Western. It must be nice to take people's money and provide them with nothing. We will remember this when making future hotel decisions.

very well maintaned, great location, comfy beds, warm inviting staff. We had great wifi, hot water, comfy beds and a warm welcome at the front desk. While you do have to walk up stairs it is well worth the climb. Quiet, comfy and welcoming...what more can u ask for?

The room was large, internet good, breakfast available. Eat down the street at Mesa for a local experience (with plenty of road traveler drop ins). Breakfast was available, though restricted. But still adequate with hot food and cold. I paid a little extra for a bottom floor room, but it was worth it.

Located near interstate and restaurants. Gas nearby as well. Denny's on property. Good amount of parking. Rooms are nice sized and beds were very comfortable. Very clean and fresh smelling. Internet worked well which is sometimes difficult out west (Direct TV was spotty). Went to Butterfield Steak house for dinner. Tremendous atmosphere and food was good too

I got a good comfortable night sleep there. Front desk people were very friendly. I did not hear my neighbors on either side of my room. Rooms were very clean. I was able to get back on the road in the morning very smoothly.

Good internet, clean rooms, and relatively large for a motel. I really like the high window in the shower (high enough to be private, and frosted) to allow natural light. The hotel is adjacent to a Denny's so eating is as convenient as you like.

Very friendly staff, made me feel welcome. Good layout and accessories in the room. Definitely will stay here again. Pool kept very clean. 24/7 Denny's onsite. Nice breakfast area but cut back on the day of my visit 9/9/21 due to c-19. Gas stations close by.

Traveling with dog and was very pleased with cleanliness of room (clean and no odor). We checked in after midnight and young man working front desk was very courteous and helpful. It is an older property but it is maintained. I would stay again.

Unfriendly staff, lobby and breakfast smelled like cat piss, worst breakfast we had in a long time, we had better take outs in a bag from other Best Western hotels. room only had three small pillows instead of the usual 4-5 nice and large fluffy ones. Smoking area right in front of room.

Showed up early and they wouldn't check us in early. Was no fun in the Arizona heat. Guy at desk wasn't very pleasant. A bit pricy in my opinion for such lack in the customer service department. I'll not return.

I am elderly and handicapped and needed a downstairs room because the hotel has no elevator. Front desk person said he had such rooms available but would ONLY assign one to me if I paid TWICE the cost of my original reservation rate. I told him this was blackmail. He didn't care - so I was forced to climb 2 flights of stairs my entire stay!

got a room on 2nd floor near back edge. Rooms clean. Bathroom clean. right off highway on main drag through town. There were places to eat within a mile or so. Continental breakfast in back of hotel lobby. Able to order hot foods that were cooked to order. Nice tables right outside to eat at. Staff friendly but sometimes took lobby clerk some time to get to you. Would stay again if needed.

Friendly staff, good location, great breakfast options, nice rooms. My only concern was the pool it didn't seem very clean. The water was greenish/yellow and cloudy. This is an indicator of bad water quality.

This is an overnight hotel so I look for comfort, convenience and quiet. Room is clean and has all the amenities you need. Super quiet so no freeway noise and friendly staff. Breakfast offered also but some covid restrictions apply. Dennys in the parking lot so very easy to get a bite.

Hotel staff were friendly at check in. Room was neat but carpet in room stuck to my shoes. Toilet took forever to flush. AC worked well. There is a Denny's restaurant next to hotel which was convenient. Overall, this place needs a room update soon. I didn't book a hotel room in advance and read hotel reviews so that's my fault for having to stay here.

This facility is a good value but it has some short comings if you need some services. We pull a horse trailer and the entrance and parking are limited in height and the ability to turn around. Also, it is a 2 story building without an elevator or carts to take luggage to the room on level 1 and not on 2 for sure. Breakfast was good and handled well during this time. They fill a tray and off you go to eat in your room. Coffee and tea available, of course. Personnel all were very nice.

Good for an on the road over nighter. The room was clean and comfy. The stairs and balcony needed to be hosed down. Looking a little grimey. Pretty good location on the edge of town. It was good enough.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and spacious with a full size fridge and microwave. Since we are tall, the height of the shower head was perfect! Friendly and helpful staff. No noises coming from the other rooms or the outside which was awesome. Breakfast was the best we had compared to other Best Western hotels. There is also a Denny's next door. We would stay there again!

Stay away from this hotel!!! Reserved for 2 nights stay to visit Petrified Forest NP. During first night, we weren't able to sleep because the upstairs guests made noise from middle of night thru morning. We asked the front desk for a different room next morning, and were told that no other room is available. We told them we can not stay another sleepless night, and asked for check out. They said they can not cancel second night because the policy requires 24 hours in advance cancellation. We said this is not reservation cancellation. We don't want to stay for another sleepless night. They still charged for two nights!

My husband and I were on a trip to Phoenix and we stay here on our way back home. We wanted to visit the Petrified Forest National Park and Holbrook is the closet to the park. This Best Western is an old motel and it could use some refreshing. There are no elevators, only stairs. The room was large with a king bed, fridge and microwave. Surprisingly, only two pillows on the king bed. I asked for two more and I got them. The fridge actually had a small freezer, which most motels and hotels don't have. The bed was on the hard side as were the pillows.

I was yelled at by a young man at the front desk for asking a simple question. He proceeded to yell at me for 5 while minutes in front of other customers. Not sure why I ended up staying here after this but I'll never return here ever again. Customer service at the front desk is lacking big time.

We usually stay at a Best Western when we go on vacation because the value, the rooms are spacious, quiet, I am rewards member and get points for our stay and the breakfast has such a variety of items to enjoy.

This Best Western is one of the cleanest and quietest BW I've ever stayed in. They are practicing the COVID protocals and I felt completely safe. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The only thing I missed was an elevator.

Best western had several complaint about their manager Charles Junior. I called to reserve a room and let the front desk clerk know I had a service animal. Upon arrival I encounter Charles Jr who proceeded to check me in. I remind him I had reserved a bottom floor because of my service dog. He raised his voice, he told me he had to move me somewhere else because they couldn't have pets affecting other guess. I explained to himmy dog is a service animal and not a pet. Protected by ADA. This guy became violent , started to scream got 2 inches away from my face. My husband was outside. Charles Jr ran pass me open the door and threw a mask on my husband's face. We called 911 and file a police report. Apparently Charles Jr has gotten away with this behavior for months and Best Western has done nothing to resolve this issue. This guy is dangerous.

I spent 8 hours on the road, and was happy to finally arrive at my hotel for the night. It was a cold and rainy day, and my room was warm and cozy. I knew I was in the right place when a stray cat, who looked exactly like my cat who went missing 7 years ago, ran over to me when I parked in front of my room. He wasn't my cat, but I enjoyed spending time with him as if he was mine. I tried rescuing him, but he wasn't going to have any of that! Instead, I fed him some cans of "Toona" (vegan tuna), for dinner and breakfast, as well as leaving him a cup of water.

Check-in was smooth and room was clean. Bed was comfortable but only had 2 very small pillows and only 2 large towels in the bathroom. It looked as though the bathroom had recently been remodeled. Check-out was easy as well. Due to COVID they offer grab and go bags for the morning which consisted of a frozen burrito, apple, muffin, cookies and granola bar. The room did have a microwave so you could heat your burrito before checking out. Easy to find with lots of parking. Across the lot is a Denny's restaurant.

Exceptionally helpful and kind staff, nice rooms, updated and clean! The area is close to the interstate, close to amenities, and felt very safe. I would recommend this motel to solo travellers and families.

We have stayed in Best Western's across the US, and they have all been very nice and not motels, so we were surprised that this was a motel style. We just didn't look at the photos on this site before arrival. It is an old property, and the carpet felt old. Only two pillows on each bed, and they only had one left when we requested more. The bathroom had a horror movie window in the shower, and it wasn't locked when we arrived and we were on the first floor. Same thing happened at a different best western that we stayed at the night before, so we at least this time we thought to check before going to bed. The front desk staff both at night and in the morning were not friendly. They both seemed to hate their job. Breakfast grab bag was fine, but not anywhere close to the pre-covid breakfasts we enjoyed at best westerns.

The desk clerk at check-in was openly hostile. I've never had a worse experience with hotel staff than this. The facility itself was clean and the rate reasonable, there's a Denny's adjacent so that's very convenient but I won't ever come back because of the way I was treated.

I didn't have high expectations as Holbrook is a small town with the one thing we were looking for which was proximity to the Petrified Forest National Park. To our delight, we found it to quite clean, with large rooms and quite comfortable. I stayed in an allergen free room while my son stayed in a pet room. The pet charge of $20 is extremely reasonable and they take dogs up to 75 pounds. They are practicing Covid safety so we were each given a to go bag for breakfast that included cookies, burrito, granola bar, apple and muffin which we all thought was very generous and quite good. We were very pleased overall and would recommend if you need an overnight in the Petrified Forest area.

Appreciated arriving to a friendly and helpful front desk and immaculately clean room. Great location next to Dennys and Macs. Suggested Romos Mexican restaurant which was a winner. Bring your own pillows!

My son and I were traveling through the area during a recent trip. This room was decent mostly clean. The area where the hotel is was nice. There is a denny's restaurant right next door which was nice.

Travelling with family and pets. The website mentions "designated' pet area. We were told the "area" was around the parking lot and in front of Dennys. No grass either. The room was old & bathroom moldy.

This is a typical Best Western. Our room was comfortable and clean. This hotel offers good value for the money. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The brown bag breakfast contained a breakfast burrito (to heat in the microwave in your room), coffee, juice and a muffin.

The hotel was very nice and the price was good but it took us three tries to find a room with both a working potty and heater. Front desk was helpful in switching rooms but you should check everything before unpacking!!!

This is a no frills place to stay. The room was comfortable and clean, good value for the money. This is the second time that we have stayed here and we will stay again, if needed. If you want more luxury, this is not the place for you.

The keys we were supplied with did not work and when the manager walked us to the room with another set of keys they also did not work. Not a big issue because we got in late and left early. The bigger problem developed later. We were double billed for the room. I called the front desk three times to request a credit. On the last call I was told that it was my fault! We are now disputing the charge thru our credit card company..

Husband and I stayed here for the night going to Fresno. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Yes it is a little dated, but not bad. The check in was quick and easy. There was plenty of truck/RV parking next to the building. There is a Denny's restaurant next to the motel.

Booked using points for 3 nights. The cost that we had to pay was $20.00 per night for our 71 lbs dog. The dog only problem was the grab and go breakfast. It lacks in quality compared to the full breakfast this hotel has been known for. Overall it is one of the best hotels in Holbrook to stay at.

I don't like writing negative reviews. I know that the livelihood of hotels depends upon having guests. However, guests' negative reviews should be written to enable the hotels to improve. I don't mind being in a budget-style inn as long as it's presentable, clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. When we arrived, I went into the bathroom and found the toilet seat up. It's not that I'm a toilet seat freak, but it made me wonder if the toilet had been used before our arrival. I mentioned this to the guy at the desk and he said it was “so the maid could clean the underside of the seat.” Maybe she could have put it down after cleaning it. When my husband went into the bathroom, he told me there were large crumbs on the floor by the bathroom. I took a picture of a small area where the crumbs were, but there were more of them, some of which were also in the bathroom. We cleaned them up. I mentioned this to the guy at the desk and he apologized. It made we wonder how well they vacuum cleaned. The rest of the room seemed to be okay. It was a generously sized room with a couch, desk and chair, and king-sized bed. The carpeting was pretty. The TV was an older, flat-screened model with a thicker body. When my husband turned it on we could hear volume, but we couldn't see the picture. We called the guy at the desk and he gave us instructions on how to get it working. It was like that again when we got up in the morning. They only get 34 channels, per hotel desk clerk. It was 9 degrees overnight, but the quiet heater kept us warm. The bed was comfortable for us. We appreciated the double sheets and soft blanket. We also appreciated the employees' effort to keep us safe when it snowed and they added rock salt to public areas to keep it from being slippery. Usually when you stay in a hotel you get two pillows per person. We had a king-sized bed with only two pillows on it. I called the office and the guy at the desk gave us two more pillows. As for breakfast, there wasn't really much offered. If you want a good breakfast, you might as well go the Denny's next door. They aren't really trying to serve much breakfast at this inn. We also walked over to Denny's for dinner because the weather was very bad. I guess if you're not picky, it's not a problem staying at this Best Western for a night or two. We stayed so we could visit the Petrified Forest National Park.

This was our second stay at the Arizonan. We were pleased with our first visit and not disappointed with this visit. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The Covid snack bag was standard . . . the team is doing the best they can under the circumstances. Though there may be cheaper motel in Holbrook I would recommend this property for its cleanliness and comfort.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in order to see PFNP. Holbrook is conveniently located to see the park. You will have no problems getting back and forth. There are enough restaurants in town to keep you fed. The hotel is a somewhat renovated older BW. You get a fridge and a decent bathroom. It is a decent option, the kind you wish for when visiting the more isolated National Parks. No complaints at all. Recommend.

Would never recommend anyone stay here. Due to covid we were not going to make it to our hotel. We called initially to see if there was any way to cancel our reservation. Dakota L. the "front desk manager" was very rude on the phone from the start. He charged my card while ON the phone with us while we were asking about cancelling. I asked to speak with the hotel manager & Dakota L. said there was no one higher than him. Over the course of the call I was not even able to talk due to being interrupted constantly and even hung up on twice. I did not even care about my reservation getting canceled within 2 minutes into the call due to Dakota L's hateful attitude and being interrupted & hung up on. I understand they have a cancelation policy, which I let him know at that point my complaint was about him. He refused to give me any contact information for anyone higher than him & told us we could call back to talk to the hotel manager. When asked when the hotel manager would be in, he told us that she works from home in California so we would not be able to talk to her on the phone. That is just one of the MANY lies that we were fed over the phone and caught him in. This may be a nice hotel but the customer service & management makes it one I would never stay at!

We stayed here on 10/6/20 in rooms 257 and 258. The property is easy to find, close to Petrified Forest NP and had plenty of parking. Our check in and out were fine, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were good sized, clean and quiet. The bathrooms are small but appeared to be renovated and the toilet is very low. The sink is outside the bathroom which we find handy. We found the WiFi poor. There is no elevator to the second floor (typical of most older BW's) and you can walk to the Denny's next door. We thought the price of the rooms was good. We would stay here again. Notes: The A/C unit in room 257 did not work well and it was unable to get the room temp below 80. For that reason I'd suggest not booking 257. Room 258 had a wobbly bed but otherwise was fine Covid 19 The hotel does a good job with this, there is plexi glass, sanitizer and the staff wears masks in the lobby area, the pool is closed, the room looked very clean. Breakfast was a brown bag (fruit muffin, bars) and you could get coffee

This place is an absolutely disgusting, please don't let the looks fool you. We checked into a non-smoking room with my family and and our newborn - it literally smelt like someone just smoked a cigar in there. When I went to complain, they insisted i was wrong and they deep sanitize daily, which is absolutely not true. We were then moved to a room on the opposite side of the property, that had zero parking. So I had to drag my luggage over 150ft to my new room - almost 15 trips as I'm traveling cross country in a truck. The new room, smelled just like cat piss! Friggin disgusting! When I went to complain again, they insisted I was lying. They blatantly disputed it to my face even though they were welcome to come smell the room, they declined. The window was also left wide open - they obviously knew this was an issue! No vacant room windows are just left open, you do the math. Their resolution to the problem was just to deal with it, the verbatim response when I asked to speak with a manager that night. Bottom line - this place is deplorable and their customer service - the absolutely worst I ever experience as a life long Best Western customer. I would not recommend staying here at all, there are several places around here probably far more accommodating.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was fine and the price was decent. The pool was closed due to covid and the breakfast was limited to a brown bag with prepackaged items (muffin, cookie, etc) and apple. Of course understood the reasons for the pool closure and breakfast option. Close to several restaurants and not far from the interstate. Front desk staff we interacted with were amiable and checkin/out was handled without hiccups. Very similar to what we've come to expect from stays at other Best Western properties.

Pet friendly room for the first time in many, many years. King bed with little sofa. Clean and fairly spacious. Were able to eat dinner together on the sofa and coffee table. We like having somewhere to sit besides the bed. Room enough for Fido's bed near Hubby's side of the bed. Little niggling things, tho. Only two standard pillows on a king bed. Only two bath towels and two hand towels. Microwave and refrigerator work. Nice desk area. Pet doo bags provided in pet area. Pet area was very small, but front desk person said we could use the grass in front of the hotel as long as we cleaned up any mess. Goes without saying. The only place without carpet to put food and water dishes was in the bathroom between the tub and the toilet. Reservation and check-in process was very good because this is our first experience with a pet in several years. I had to call the hotel directly because I couldn't see how to book a pet-friendly room online, even with the BW app. Upon arrival, everything was ready and the front desk person couldn't have been more helpful. I signed some extra paperwork involving the additional responsibilities of having the pet in the room. Nothing more than common sense. The parking lot gets busy because it is shared with the Denny's. We had dinner take-out and I can't really recommend it. See separate review.

Sorely overcharged. Charged the maximum rate possible then $15 per child higher than what we were quoted. Families beware. Quoted $94 on the phone, when we got there they charged $170. Pool is closed, they simply said sorry. We won't be back.

We've stayed here a few times, and each time has been excellent. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, hotel is well built, including heating/AC from central unit (quiet and efficient). Refrigerator was quiet. Beds very comfortable, and room layout is pleasant. Covid protections are top level - not the more lax ones that exist in Arizona. "Grab and go" breakfast bags had more than other BW hotels we've stayed at.

This is an older Hotel. But it was clean. The parking lot gets very busy. Even with it full, it was still quite, Room was clean, good bed, pillows and everything work. Just nothing that's going to WOW you. I would stay here again. Coffee was not the best, but it got us on are way.

I booked a room around 12noon, paid for it at the same time, over the phone. Arrived at the BW Arizonian Inn , around 1am. At check-in they raise the price of their rooms, from $85.50 plus all taxes, etc., to $116.95 plus tax, etc $128.95. When question the desk clerk, he said because we arrived late, then because we asked for a ground floor, then said the Main office Best western has a right to raise prices up when they want. I show him my text message confirming the $85.50 per night per room, my conformation#, and didn't help. The manager refused to honor the rate I had per orders and put my credit card as security. NO SATISFACTION

This hotel was much better than I expected. Staff was great and the rooms were spotless. The Denny's next door was great too. The Hotel was very aware of Covid policies and I was comfortable staying there.

Well. We are here. We had two rooms booked for two nights. First they told me I only had one night booked and would have to recheck in the next day. Even after they found the next days reservation. Apparently they aren't in good contact with the main reservation office. The guy behind the desk was also pretty rude. When I reserved, I asked the woman for two rooms next to each other and additionally wrote it on the requests. The rude man behind the desk told me the rooms were next to each other. They were two even numbered rooms so I assumed that was how the rooms were numbered. Nope. There was an entire room between us, making it so we could just like leave the doors open and go room to room to visit or communicate. Upon relaying all this to the man at the front desk in the morning to request to leave early and not check in again, we were refused. He actually said that even if they book the room again, they just get to make double money. I'm torn between pretending to stay, just so my $120 doesn't turn into a $240 reward for rude and ridiculous customer service. There are many nice hotels in the area. Choose one of them. This will actually be the last best western I ever book again since corporate takes NO responsibility for the behavior of their franchises. Bummer because we were really good customers for years and years. Oh, and there isn't enough pressure in the shower to wash your hair, so expect a body rinse only after a long hot day in AZ.

I stayed here years ago by myself, but this time around, my wife was with me. To my surprise, the hotel has been very well maintained. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The staff practices social distancing and sanitization. At one point, the front desk called us to make sure our room was clean and comfortable. That was a nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again!

Very pleasant overnight stay on homecoming trip from Nevada to Minnesota. I requested a handicapped accessible room, and was assigned one on the 1st floor right next to the office and only about 10 steps from my parking spot. I was very pleased with this location as it is very difficult for me to walk very far while carrying luggage. The only downside of this room was that the shower is not really handicap accessible, but since I only stayed one night, this was not an issue.

There are not a lot of choices to stay in Holbrook. I would stay there again. The staff was quick to with advise or ways to help. The place was pretty full, which probably speaks to this being a good place to stay. It is an older hotel but it is well maintained. Fresh paint, new carpet, comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Food was fresh and replenished as needed. It is nice to not have to hunt around for breakfast before you head out for the day. $20 extra for the dog.

We stay in this Best Western each year when traveling to and from Canada To Pal Springs, Staff is friendly and answer any questions we have rooms are Clean and well kept,and we enjoy the experience. EVEN WITH THE COVID_19 VIRUS ISSUES EVERYTHING WAS AS GREAT AS USUAL

We booked two nights at this hotel for our vacation and prepaid for our room. Unfortunately, my wife and I both got very sick during our travels and I ended up in the hospital for four days. We cancelled our reservations at the hotel in advance and explained our situation. After recovering from our illness, I called the hotel several times to see about getting a refund. The desk clerks, Brian and Dakota told me only the manager, Tina Gill, could authorize a refund and they would leave a message for her to call me. No call back. I therefore called Tina several times and left messages. No return call. I both emailed and texted her to explain our situation and requested a refund. No communication. I tried to work through the third party booking company. ReservationCounter.com. They were better at responding but indicated that since the money was paid to the hotel, I had to work with the hotel. After a couple weeks of trying to resolve the problem without success, I turned the issue over to my credit card company for help. Today I received a response from CustomerClub Getaroom, a company I've never heard of before, but in essence they said, "Too bad, so sad but you're not getting your money back." All of the other hotels we booked for our trip willingly refunded our money after we cancelled in advance except the Best Western Arizonian In in Holbrook, AZ. To this date, I have never heard back from Tina. We are very disappointed in the customer service we received from this hotel.

This is a predictable Best Western in a small town ... room clean and fitted out as expected ... but the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (everyone!) made this otherwise ordinary motel experience stand out.

Lots of space in room with an easy chair, desk/chair and fridge and microwave. Everything you need. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was much better than expected. Real plates and utensils. Eggs, potatoes and oatmeal - they tasted like they were cooked from scratch. Reasonable price and nice location. I would definitely stay here again.

There are nice size clean rooms here. Pleasant front desk and breakfast staff.Comfortable bed. The included free breakfast is adequate but not great. I especially liked the heater lamp in the bathroom

We stay here every time we are in Holbrook. The staff is super helpful and always professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is close to the Petrified Forest and is a great value for what you get.

This had to be one of the friendliest places we visited while in Arizona. From the minute we checked in until we left, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and our breakfast attendant was friendly and engaged us in pleasant conversation. Overall I give the staff an A+. Of particular note, we accidentally dropped a pair of earmuff in the parking lot. When we realized it we were 30 minutes away. We called the front desk, and they immediately sent someone out in the cold to find and retrieve the lost item. It was waiting for us at the office when we returned. Next time we are in Holbrook, this is where we will stay!

Overpriced. Google search starts rooms at $87. Paid $112 before tax and hotel was almost empty when I arrived. Poor internet, staff for the most part was not overly helpful or under helpful except when looking for a good ‘review'. They were ‘just out' of conditioner. Pillows were not comfortable. One ice machine out of service due to ‘winter maintenance.' Area has a dark heavy feel and I didn't feel a friendly view, more like I was being tolerated if will. That said, if ‘have' to stay in Holbrook, this is going to be your best bet.

We were booked in here by a travel agent. It was easily the worst of the seven hotels we were booked into during our tour of Arizona. The room had seen better days and the bathroom had seen a better century. The mattress was old and not particularly comfortable. The whole place desperately needs an update. During the night the power went off for hours and nobody even mentioned this as we checked out. Other reviewers comment on the good breakfast. It was very average. The one positive was the excellent breakfast hostess who was friendly and helpful.

This was probably one of the best stays we have had a a Best Western. The Evening clerk and day clerk both gave us good information about the are and places to eat and see. Bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. Even the food in the breakfast was very good. My husband really liked the hot oatmeal and potatoes were seasoned better that most. Breakfast attendant was also great

Nice hotel for small Arizona town. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel had a good breakfast. This was the second time I have stayed here and it seems to be one of the better hotels in the area.

I had to choose this BW rather than the one in Winslow because this one was pet friendly. The only issue I had was I wasn't able to connect to the internet in an easy way. Not sure if that was my tablet or the BW system

My review should be 0 but that's not an option. We stay in a 2-3 star hotels at least 200 nights a year for work so most little things don't bother me but I've NEVER experienced this before. I started booking online but didn't know how to list my $20 Best Western / BW gift card. Walked into motel with phone open asked to help. I showed phone with room and rate of $73 for 2 adults- 2 queens no smoking with request for ground floor room because I travel with a service dog. He frowned at the rate and began typing on computer. Then he says someone online must have booked room - it's not available. I asked if I had & he said no. Two guys walk in and he begins to check them in and leaves me standing there waiting. Meanwhile I went to complete reservation online and a notification popped up - no rooms avail. Once the guys were checked in I asked if he had any rooms available downstairs. He said a King room @ $129. More than $50 more, I said you've got to be kidding. (This is a motel with exterior doors - not a $100 a night hotel) I told him I had the room on my phone when I walked in and asked for your assistance. He just stood there blank faced. I turned to leave and when I got to the door I turned back and said I'm a platinum reward member and you offer nothing, not even a sympathetic I'm sorry. No response, I was livid. I asked for a hotel business card with the Manager or owner's name. He said they didn't have any. Asked for owners name & he said he didn't know. Asked his name and he covered name tag. My husband, demanded his name and he provided “Charles Jr” very sarcastically and we were able to verify with name tag. I made an unprofessional comment and he said “have a great day”. I got in the truck and called BW 800 # and obtained room in Gallop, NM. After booking, I requested a supervisor and was transferred to conflict resolution. Nice lady went online for the Holbrook BW and verified there was a non smoking room available with 2 queens downstairs and apologized. She offered a resolution which I accepted. So Charles Jr. either didn't want to give a room to a service dog or didn't want to honor online rate so he blocked room and I was not able to book online but it was avail after we left. If he blocked the room because he didn't want the service dog - it's against the law and I was discriminated against for having an ADA dog. (Plus he can't charge a pet fee for service dog) Maybe he just outright lied about the room because I know he lied about not knowing the owner or manager. After reading some of the other reviews, it appears others have had issues with changing prices and rude clerks. This employee gives the BW franchise a black eye. Would not recommend!

We stay here every year in our way to Arizona. The rooms are always clean and all the amenities work well. The staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way. It is close to Highway 40 and there are several restaurants close by.

We drove from Colorado to California and back for the holidays. We spent 8 nights in hotels. I procrastinated and could not find anything available for New Years Eve in the area of Flagstaff (very expensive for moderate hotel chains) and Winslow. We had to drive a little farther to Holbrook and the only place available, that allowed dogs, was the Best Western Arizonian. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is obviously a very old place, but everything is updated nicely. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff is super nice. Probably the nicest of all 8 hotels we stayed in. There weren't a lot of options for take out on New Years Eve (problem with traveling with a dog), but there is a Denny's in front of the hotel. We ordered online and my husband walked over to get it. I would not hesitate recommending this hotel.

They were doing some remodeling and the room we stayed in looked like it had recently been redone and was clean and had some small things that you could use to make coffee or microwave something. You have to remember you're staying at a hotel a little off the freeway and there aren't all kinds of amenities so if you get a room is clean and looks good that's what you're paying for. The kind of thing that you always are hopeful for but doesn't always happen is a great staff. The late night staff and the day staff were all good and accommodating with recommendations to restaurants any special needs you might have. The hotel did have a breakfast similar to what most travellers hotels do with waffles and all that type of thing. Parking was fine the only drawback is that there's not an elevator and you have to walk up some stairs you're to get to the second floor. The stairs are big enough that you can get up and down. I would recommend this hotel because of the cleanliness and the staff.

This hotel does not meet Best Western standards! It was a disappointing stay from start to finish. I don't care if you do have a rewards card or not, stay somewhere else. They refused to give us our AARP discount because we were told that we already were getting the best price for the room. This was not the case when we stayed at other BW hotels on our trip. The heater was noisy, the mattress was old and you could hear the springs every time you moved. I have slept on 20 year old mattresses that were more comfortable. We slept at another BW hotel that was right next to the train tracks and Interstate 5 and it was less noisy than the heater in this room. We finally had to shut the heater off so we could sleep. Did I get my point across that this place sucked? Hopefully!

Modern place on the main road,very attentive staff,clean comfortable rooms,hearty breakfast..who could ask for anything more..is it any wonder the parking lot is full P.s. don't be surprised if staff call you asking if the room.is ok..great touch.

Terrible hotel staff. I recommend staying clear of this motel!! When I entered staff were arguing with two customers. It was not a great scene. The young man at the reception was rude. I had tried to make online reservations and it timed out twice, so I called the corporate number to make a reservation. The man did not greet me, nor review my reservation. He kept telling me to keep putting in my credit card, finally I ask if there was a problem. He presented me with three papers to sign and said I reserved three rooms. I told him no, explained the situation. Instead of doing the right thing he refused to cancel the other two reservations. I called the corporate number and they couldn't get him to do the right thing either. I would never do this to a guest. I was ashamed for this hotel's lack of moral vector and charging me three times. I recommend staying somewhere else.

This is a good hotel that's conveniently located halfway between Flagstaff, AZ and Albuquerque, NM. We needed a place to stay that is close to Petrified Forest National Park. This hotel provided a large, clean room with comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and had a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. The room was quiet and we couldn't hear the neighbors or people outside. All you really need after a long day traveling is a clean bed and a shower and this hotel delivered on both counts. They also provide a complementary continental breakfast that had a very helpful attendant there. This hotel has a pool, but since it was December it was closed. They also have rooms available for if you're traveling with a pet.

Clean, spacious room, nice breakfast area. Older building that's been updated but not really renovated... new rugs, beds, furniture e.t.c but the bathroom is clean and functional and fine but not modernized. Excellent service, good stay

At checkin my husband was ignored while maid typed on computer and a man stood by her. We maid reservations for 2 days, kingsize bed gave us a double, after a month of travel we didn't bother. Front desk noticed their mistake came and changed us to king. Do not plan on eating breakfast here, even though its free!. It's a nasty, overcrowded room and awful choices. Also, all BWs offer 500pts if you refuse maid service, the clerk said they don't do that, so we had maid service and she forgot to put pillow cases on, AND breakfast ends at 9am! You will not find anything after 9a, usually it's 10a.

After a long day of driving, my wife and I made a hotel reservation on Expedia online, using our phone in the car, about one hour before arriving at the Best Western Arizonian. When we arrived about 8:30 P.M., my wife showed her phone reservation to the manager, Charles Jr. He looked at it and said the reservation was for the next night, not tonight. I told him that was a mistake. He said nothing, so I asked if he had a room for that night and I would buy that and call Expedia to cancel the mistaken reservation. He had the same room for the same price and we took it. We then went to our room and called Expedia, and they said they would cancel the mistake, but they had to get the hotel's consent to do it. They put me on hold while they called. They then got back to me and said the hotel refused to allow us to cancel our mistake, and they also refused to change the date for the Expedia reservation so we wouldn't be charged twice. I assumed Expedia had call the national chain, so I went to see Charles Jr. to see if he could help. It turns out Charles was the one who had refused the refund. I asked him how he could do that when he knew we made a mistake and discussed the matter right in front of him. (He had offered no assistance whatsoever when he initially learned we had made a mistake.) He said it was "policy." I said I was going to cancel my credit card payment for that night if that's what I would have to do to avoid double billing. At that point, he ordered me to vacate the room because I said I was canceling my payment. I said I was not leaving the room. He said he would call the police and have me removed. I told him to do that and I would be waiting for the police in my room. After waiting for 15 minutes, no police came so I went back to the managers office and demanded Charles Jr.'s name so I could mention him in a review. At some point, he got on the phone with the owner (who he previously told me could not be reached.) They agreed to let Expedia cancel the reservation. This was a very upsetting experience. There was a pretty blatant attempt to cash in on our mistake, accompanied by a threat of calling the police. Also, we could not try to cancel the Expedia reservation on line because when we tried it in our hotel room, the internet was so slow we couldn't get on to their website.

Travelled with my wife, 2 year old, and 82 year old grandmother. My grandmother's first room had a nonfunctional heating system It was subfreezing outside that night. The first tech said he fixed it, but at 12:30 that morning, she awoke to a cold room. So, at 12:30, they moved her to a room that had heat the whole time. We awoke to no hot water or heat. Apparently the entire town lost gas...? They could not tell us when it would be fixed so we made a decision to relocate for the safety of my grandmother and daughter. They charged my grandmother for the frozen night AND the night we left and did not stay there. Reached out to the owner via LinkedIn. Will update if she makes it right.

The internet was out most of the evening. The thermostat was unresponsive to increasing the room temperature. The blowing of the fan in the heating unit only served to make the room feel colder. The water temperature during the evening was warm, not hot. The next morning the water temperature was COLD. The water temperature issue was reported but no action was taken to improve the situation.

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the petrified Forest. The hotel was ok, room was a good size, but a bit dated. Staff were friendly. Overall it was in a good location but I didn't think it was worth the money.

The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The office guys were awesome. Both the check in evening guys and morning guys super nice and courteous. Great customer service skills. The breakfast was delicious. I was pleased with everything and I'm pretty picky. They allowed pets which was nice. Do call direct, much cheaper that way.

The hotel employees remembered us from last year and we were welcomed like family!!The whole staff at this location are just great.So nice to see employees with smiling faces everyday.Nice variety of breakfast items as well

Good over night stay in Holbrook. Efficient service at breakfast so that tables were cleared off quickly to make room for more guests. Military rate was available. Comfortable bed and quiet night. Hot water, too.

After staying at the BW in Flagstaff, which was only ok, I was hesitant to stay in a smaller hotel in a smaller town. This BW was clean, updated, the floors were SOLID, unlike some other hotels in this market. Our 2 year old looks like a bowling ball and walks as if we were dribbling a bowling ball, meaning everyone hears his every step! Not at this location. We didn't have to stress about him making the people below us angry. I'm confident that the first floor slept great. The rooms were much larger than most BW rooms I've stayed at. Loved that the room had central air, not those crappy wall mounted ones that make too much noise. Staff was polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Stayed for one night. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. They offered a breakfast, we didn't take advantage of it. We will stay here the next time we pass through.

The room was big. The room had very nice beds and bedding. The bathroom was a wonderful. So clean. You were given a ticket for breakfast. The food was great. They served a variety of dishes. The people serving were very polite and helpful.

Large, comfortable rooms at a very good price. They have a full breakfast, and the staff is helpful. They even call your room after you are settled in to make sure everything is satisfactory. The Navajos who operate the motel are helpful and friendly.

The rooms are in desperate need of upgrades. Staff was nice. But this is one of the most run down Best Westerns I've ever stayed in....and it was pricier than the much nicer hotel (different chain) that we stayed in in Mesa.

I travel with my dogs cross the United States several times a year. I find Best Western is the most accommodating hotel chain by far! They welcome you, choice of room location, and always with a smile!

This is an older motel and needs an update. But for the price and location, it is a fair deal. Coffee maker in room was broken. We reported both days and the staff didn't seem to care. Front desk clerk responded “huh”. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff was very pleasant. I would stay in Winslow on my next trip.

We stayed for one night on a recent road trip. We weren't expecting a lot for what we paid but this place way exceeded our expectations. Our room was comfortably furnished, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely, especially the older gentleman at breakfast whose permanent smile put us in a good mood for the rest of the day. Breakfast itself was pretty good with plenty of choice. For visiting the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert this hotel is not too far away and is great value.

We spent one night at this hotel. I had a reservation, so checking in was a breeze. If you want a first floor room, be sure to specify that when you reserve your room. The parking lot is large, clean, well lit, and has video security. The breakfast is very good. Lots of choices and checked often by the cook. We enjoyed the real plates and silverware. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

Overpriced for what you receive. Fell below our expectations. We had stayed at this location one other time and gave it high reviews however the experience this time did not compare. We may consider staying here another night with the hope that there will be improvement.

Staff was very helpful, room was very clean and considering it was in the middle of the complex on the ground floor it was very quiet, big easy chair in room is a VERY nice touch but could stand to be replaced (Sank in deep), our only complaint was the toilet was very slow when flushing, other people in our party in different rooms also said they experienced the same problem.

We are french tourists and have spent one night in this hotel. We will remember a nice welcome and the availabilty of the staff at the reception as well as during the breakfast. This is not the same thing in all the Best Western Hotel in Arizona and Utah!

Outstanding Hospitality during check-in was only surpassed by the extremely friendly and helpful young lady during breakfast! Very clean room, nice comfy bed, great fast-speed internet and again.....the staff was outstanding. We participate in an annual event in Petrified Forest Natl Park and have stayed her four of the past five years and definitely plan on staying again. Staff made us feel like family!!

This hotel was acceptable compared to other hotels in the area - it was at the lower end of best western hotels which i understand - everything was average but given the price of $ 139.99 which discounts/coupons it was abit overpriced. The air conditioning/heating unit was difficult to use so not sure if broken or just how it works but it made the room much cooler than necessary - but otherwise when only staying for one night it was acceptable

I reserved a room based on the pictures and description on the hotel's Best Western site. It was a King Suite supposedly with a fireplace, kitchenette, washer and dryer. The hotel also claims that its rooms have new furniture. Well, when I got to my room, it had none of the pictured amenities mentioned above and the sofa had a tattered and frayed cushion with exposed stuffing. The room was a King suite, just not the one in the hotel's pictures. When I inquired, I was told that Best Western had made a mistake and posted the wrong pictures. I was told that, for my inconvenience, I could either move to the other room for a reduced additional charge, or have points added to my Rewards account as compensation. I opted for the points. I did not receive the points. Additionally, when I checked in, I used two Best Western twenty dollar certificates, which the hotel then redeemed, and my American Express card as payment. The hotel gave me proof that they had, indeed, redeemed the certificates, but then also charged my American Express card the full amount for my stay. When I tried to get the overcharge resolved at check out, Michael B. at the front desk told me he was too busy to look at my issue and that I would have to wait until he finished his other paperwork. When we asked to speak with a manager, Michael said that there wasn't one on site. When urged to address our issue, he repeatedly said that he was too busy, that it would take a long time to do because he would have to log in to Best Western and that he would get to it "sometime this morning". When my wife reminded him that we were guests in his establishment, that we had a problem that needed to be addressed immediately and that since we were standing in front of him right then she couldn't understand why we had to wait until a time convenient for him, he accused her of being rude and told her to leave. When we produced paperwork showing that the hotel had indeed redeemed our certificates and that we had been overcharged $40 for our stay, Micahael B. asked a coworker for help. A female coworker assessed the situation, took my American Express card, did something on the computer, returned my card and told me she had issued a credit to my American Express account. She also gave us a printed statement showing that the gift certificates were applied and a $40 credit to American Express With that, we left. A later check of my American Express account does not reflect any such credit.

Bring your own tea and non plastic mugs for hot stuff. The food is awful. The best food was potatoes. The plumbing in our room was terrible. You need to flush at least 3 times. It was noisy in the morning, around 6:10 am. Somebody was laughing very loud and talking like no body hears him.

The room was well equipped and roomy. The tub area was newly renovated tub. The room also had a microwave & small fridge. The continental breakfast was better than most. Would come back if I needed a place to stay in this area again.

Nicer hotel in the area. Has hot breakfast and good service. Enthusiastic desk clerks. Not ultra luxurious but clean and more than adequate. Near the parks and other attractions. Quiet and being updated.

Like to stay at BW, but this clerk was not helpful period. No smile, didn't answer questions. the same thing happened when I stopped in to ask a question in the morning with a different clerk. Never was acknowledged. He was talking to a maintenance man and had no time to tell me he would be with me in a minute. I just left. Took awhile to figure out why the TV didn't work. It wasn't plugged in. Bed was hard.

Booked a room for 3 people as our disabled son was with us,and required an accessible room, they expected all 3 of us to stay in one bed! The room was pre booked via travel agents , so when we explained we were 3 adults and couldn't share a queen bed, they charged us 45 dollars to change the room I explained that I didn't think it was fair as surely he didn't expect us to share the bed , but the manager showed no concern and no care , not helpful , more or less said either pay or sleep in the car , also the breakfast is 6-9 which is far too early when on holiday to rush up , in my opinion, I personally would never recommend this hotel, it's the only one that made us pay extra along Route 66 ,although we did have the same issue acassionally throughout our drive , all other hotels changed room with no charge.

Please please avoid like the plague We're do I start the manager abnoxios rude inconsiderate out to fleece you for as much money as possible We traveled with my son who wheel chair disabled and had booked all the hotels through our local travel agent tui When we turned up with our voucher for the hotel the manager told us that booking was only made for 2 people and that we would have to pay a extra $45 even though our voucher clearly stated 3 people his only interest was money money My son who suffers from cerebral palsy and is permantly in a wheelchair is not as privileged as the manager and may be he needs to stand back and take a good look at himself and defiantly discriminated against a disabled person

Lots of choices in this area, but BW is generally a good value and a known quantity. This location was no exception. It is a very good value, very clean and comfortable in a good location with friendly staff. The breakfast is a bit above average. I can highly recommend this motel and will return in the future. One bonus is the location is close to a Denny's restaurant AND a very good Italian place. Chevron gas station is also close by.

I could not believe how attentive and friendly the whole staff were. They exceeded my expectations completely. The room was large and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard for a motel breakfast, but everything was attended to and kept fresh. It was almost like table service, as attendant cleared used dishes away quickly. Wifi was good, with no problems

I booked through bestwestern.com for the Pedal the Petrified, a bicycle ride through the Petrified Forest to raise money for Northland Pioneer College scholarships. I called in to verify that bicycles could be stored in the room or a store room. We arrived at 6pm and asked for the first floor room. We had bicycles to take into the room. The desk clerk walks off, makes a call, and announces that we can't bring bikes into the room. "Ok, do you have a store room?" "No, we can't accept the liability." "What are we supposed to do with our bikes?" "Oh, you can keep them on your rack." (Parking lot has no security and posted signs, "remove all valuables, the hotel accepts no liability"). It's getting late, asked if he can help find a hotel that would accept bicycles, and was told "We can't help you. We're charging you for three nights because you're didn't cancel within 48 hrs prior." Wow. Called BW customer support, they apologized, but could only call and talk with the manager. They 'checked me out' early after two days, so only two nights charge. A credit dispute was filed. Not taking bikes, ok, although I was told it wouldn't be a problem and they accept pets. The race director will advise all future riders the BW Arizonian is not the place to stay. We never entered the room. The rude treatment, failure to help with either alternate storage or finding another more accommodating hotel, and then charging as if we stayed is simply no way to treat guests. You have been warned.

We had a nice room, somewhat small, but it had all the accommodations we needed. There was a mix-up on my reservation when checking in, but Byron at the front desk worked with us to give us what we needed. The staff at the morning breakfast, Marcie and Michael J. were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The hotel extorts customers with a policy I have never seen at other hotels that costs business travelers who have their plans change quickly. They charged me for my 3rd nights stay because I didn't give them 24 hours notice. I received an email at 7am that my work had fallen through and went to check out at 8:30am a day earlier than my 3 day reservation and they insisted on making me pay for the 3rd night regardless that I wasn't staying. Most ridiculous policy I have ever encountered at any hotel and I stay at least 100 to 150 nights per year in hotels.

I had a wonderful experience at the Best Western in Holbrook. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and ohhhhh, that shower felt so good! And let me tell you, the breakfast was delicious!!! Nothing but praise for this motel.

Our first time at this Best Western. All was great until morning of checkout. When we returned from breakfast an attendent Jac started cleaning the room before we were checking out ( and before checkout time). He had handled our personal medicines, cleaned the bathroom including putting in new towels for the next guests. WE WERE NOT DONE WITH THE BATHROOM. When we reported this at checkout, the clerk was surprised because they didn't have any male staff with that job. Apparently it was a son, friend, or someone of one of the staff. Completely unacceptable in inappropriate. The desk person promised it would not happen again and would investigate.

Holbrook was the town we chose to rest for the night before going to the petrified forest. When we first pulled into the place I was a bit concerned. It looked dated and did not have an elevator. Thankfully, the desk clerk was kind enough to give us a room in the back on the first floor. Upon opening the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised. The room had recently been renovated and done excellently. I hate rooms with room air conditioner units with shorts drapes! I want my room quiet and dark for sleeping....that is exactly what it was. The beds were comfortable, there was a table and chairs as well as a comfortable chair with ottoman. There was plenty of outlets for our electronics, a mirror in the dressing area, great water pressure in the shower. It was an outstanding room and the price was very reasonable. The free breakfast had everything you could want, eggs, ham, toast, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt and danish. The only short fall was the limited space for the eating area. We were very happy overall with our stay and would return.

The room was billed as "accessible" (for wheelchairs). While the bathroom was equipped with a roll in shower with a fold down bench, the lavatory could accommodate a wheelchair, the shower design was a retro and did not contain the water to the shower stall allowing it to pool around the toilet. The carpet/pad in the main room was too thick/soft making it very difficult to use a wheelchair without help .

My family and I were recently driving on I-40 through Arizona expecting to be able to stay in Flagstaff. Every room in Flagstaff was taken so we proceeded down the road and began searching online for available rooms in Winslow and Holbrook. As we were driving we became aware of the smoke in the air and realized that there were forest fires in the area. We called The Best Western Arizonian Inn in Holbrook and asked if there was smoke from the fires in Holbrook as two members of our family suffer from asthma. The clerk stated that the air was clear and that they had a room with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed, perfect for our party of three. We made the reservation and drove down the road to arrive at The Arizonian Inn an hour later to a “foggy” smoke-filled town. Visibility was about 200 yards. I walked into the smoky lobby and addressed the clerk I had spoken to on the phone. I said, “I'm Jim, I spoke with you about the smoke concern. I can't stay here. I have asthma and this is not clear like you said on the phone.” He immediately said, “WE HAVE A 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. YOU WILL BE CHARGED!” I was expecting a smoke free room. He said that the air-conditioning would filter out the smoke. I disagreed, but agreed to “try out” the room. I opened the door the find a room with one double bed and no pull out sofa bed. So they lied about the room they had available and the smoky conditions then used their 24 hour cancellation policy to ignore their shortcomings. Best Western defers to the owner, the owner plays dumb. I wonder how much of their income comes from lying to people about their amenities, availability, etc. Seems like a trend and they way they do business. BE WARNED, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BEST WESTERN!

Though it doesn't look like much when you get there, this is a truly hidden gem! Our room was spotless, everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful, the decor was pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. All in all, a great find. If you are looking for a room in the Holbrook area, we HIGHLY recommend.

Nice room to relax in after a day of driving. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of tv channels to choose from. Very quiet and clean property. Had a nice conversation with the young man who checked us in.

We enjoyed the quiet and comfortable room after a long day of driving. check-in was fast and the clerk was efficient. No slamming doors or outside noises bothered us during the night. . The breakfast was generous and of good quality.

We stayed one night on our vacation. The hotel has no elevator and the ground floor rooms are a higher rate but we were "upgraded" because we asked and we were Best Western members. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have two luggage racks. The phone was not working and the staff discovered this when they called to check on us so they replaced the phone when we returned from dinner. This is the first hotel that I have seen have a key card access for the ice machine. Also you need to turn in a ticket for breakfast when you go to the breakfast room. The breakfast room seemed to be a too small of a space for the crowd that descended on it but we beet the rush and had a table and no issues with our meal. The pool was cool but felt refreshing after the heat of the day. Our room felt dated and well worn, in need of several small repairs. I did like that there was a Denny's in the same parking lot which was really easy for dinner. Overall I felt the staff was very friendly, and I slept well, I would stay here if I am in the area.

We stopped overnight on the way north. I don't know why but the afternoon clerk overcharged us for more than $100! The evening clerk apologized and corrected everything! His name was Byron and was very professional! This would have been a 5 star stop if that wouldn't have happened! We probably won't stop here again because of distrust!

Holbrook was a base for our visit to Petrified Forest NP in June 2018. The Holbrook museum is also worth a visit. The accommodation was average although Holbrook is located on Route 66 so we saw a variety of vehicles, ancient and weird, in the motels parking lot. Plenty of places to eat.

Pleasantly surprised. Worried when we first drove up because the outside appearance is old school. But our room wass HUGE and clean and staff was wonderful! Very happy with our choice. The price was great too!

Super friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Good breakfast. Only con: Thin walls. I could hear doors closing and people talking in the parking lot. I could see a strip of light in the crack of the door.

Stayed at this hotel July 1 2019 as first stop to Denver. A/c units from other rooms cause hum when running but quite about 11PM, so was able to get some sleep. Requested 1st floor on return because of no elevator, which I did get. Also booked for return trip on July 16. Had to spend another night as a tire got a nail in sidewall & Goodyear dealer had to order a tire from Flagstaff & would not arrive until next day. At 12:30am a pressure washer starts up outside the Denny's that shares the same property & continues until 3:30 am. Then the trash trucks arrive at 3:30 am as well dumping about 4 bins. Also door to bathroom is so warped that it can not be closed. Police show up because of noise & say there is nothing they can do as this happens frequently. What is management of this hotel & Denny's thinking. Start the work at 4 am or so when quests may be rising to pack up & leave. Used camcorder to record steaming cleaning.

Very clean queit, peaceful. . . perfect low cost, close to Route 66 landmarks and State parks. The breakfast that is included is the BEST from the other BW's we stayed at in Lapeer, Michigan & Mission Bay, California.

Where do I begin? I booked this hotel 5 months ahead of time and upon check in, around 5:30pm, we were given a second floor room. Our travelers were myself, 62yrs old, my 65 yr old husband and our 10 and 11yr old grandchildren. Our room was ok, heavy old curtains, but roomy. The stairs going up to the second floor were clearly painted with red warning stripes, and rightly so as they were steep and felt to be of differing heights. I tripped almost every time I went up. Under the stairwell between the first and second level, all you had to do was look down and you were treated to a heaping pile of dirty bedding. I had read a review in March that said the pile had been removed. How about doing it again? It looks terrible. The pool was an outside pool and in the back of the property. Here's why I would never stay in Holbrook again. We needed clean laundry. There was no on site services so I had to drive 2 miles or so into town. It was a main drag, a gas station with an attached laundry, along a side road. When I pulled up, it was light dusk. There was a very drunk large man sitting down, leaning against the laundry building. While sitting in my car, another man came and helped him up and they walked away. There was a young couple inside so I went in and filled two washers. By the time my laundry was ready to switch, it was nearly dark, the couple was leaving and the laundry set up was such that there were two rows of washers and I felt that if anything was to happen, no one from the gas station or the road would see me so I sat in my car, windows rolled up, it running. There was a knock at my window, it was the same drunken man from earlier. I shook my head no and backed out. I left with some damp clothes and was shaken.Upon returning to the hotel, it was very difficult to find a parking space and then had to carry up the clothes. Why no elevator? Breakfast was cramped and your run of the mill. The picking were slim though, no yogurt, cartons of milk, no fruit. The hotel was old, would not stay there again, but would not stay in Holbrook either.

Be careful this hotel will charge for extra people over 2. Even if booked through Hotels.com. Asked for my card for incidentals and then charged us $30 for our two children. The hotel was average at best but not worth $140!!! Unfortunately they had the upper hand and we would have had to pay no matter what.

Out of the few hotels in Holbrook to chose from, this hotel seemed to be the best one, but that isn't saying much. The hotel seemed clean, but it was very dated. Even though they said the room was newly remodeled, it looked like it was just new carpet and linens. Bathroom needed a serious update. There were two queen beds, one was a concrete slab, and the other was somewhat comfortable. There was no elevator and the stairs to the 2nd floor didn't seem to be to code. I almost tripped several times because they seemed to short. Both ice machines I could find were out of ice by 8 am. They were either broken or not up to capacity of hotel. Being there is very little hotel choices in Holbrook to stay, this hotel by appearance seems to be the best pick. It wasn't horrible, just not a place you would want to stay more than one night for a stop over. And we paid $75-100 for the room. I wouldn't pay anything more than that.

Stayed here one night, our room was clean & didn't feel hot when we arrived although air con was off. We switched it on & went out for a meal. However when we returned the temperature inside the room was hotter than outside. We checked the air con & it just seemed to be blowing warm air through. We debated asking to change rooms but as it was late evening we decided to put up with it. So we had a very uncomfortable night & were glad to get the door open in the morning. Breakfast wasn't very tempting. Having said all that, check in was good. Very friendly. However we were glad to leave.

We were very disappointed. We stayed Monday on our way to Colorado and they were very friendly and helpful. However, when we came back through on Friday it was completely the opposite. We were greeted by being abruptly told there was a dog park around back, my little dog peed on the rock in front. There was no mention of the pet area when we stopped Monday. Then, as I tried to apologize, he turned around and walked back inside. When we went in he was very abrupt (same person as Mon). He charged us double what we had paid on Monday. The room smelled terrible, like pee! Apparently the "dog" rooms are in the very back bldg, the farthest away from the "pet area". We will choose a different place on our next trip.

Having stayed here before, we found the property slipping in quality. Bathroom was NOT cleaned properly. Pubic hair in tub, urine stains behind the toilet and some other undefined stain on the back of the bathroom door. Sink drain slow. Can see daylight around the room door to the outside, due to lack of sealing around door, which allows bugs to make themselves at home. Barely stocked with supplies such as toilet paper, kleenex, etc. Would pass this property up next time.

We stayed here 3 nights to use as a base for visiting National parks in the area. This included Petrified Forest and Canyon de Chelley. First of all, like to say that we stay at a lot of Best Westerns, and this in not going to be anywhere near the top of my list of best BWs. After an uncomfortable nights sleep (terrible pillows) woke up to take a shower before breakfast. Couldn't use because the the valve to turn on the water was faulty. This room was supposedly newly renovated. 2 times before arrival, I received phone calls from the hotel making sure I was arriving on time and both times asked if I was bringing any pets. Both times my answer, NO! Upon check-in, asked the same question again, still NO! During check in we were given tickets to be used for the morning breakfast. Never had to use one. Breakfast was kind of ok, but lacked the variety and quality of other BWs. Yes, there were eggs, sausage, potatoes and oatmeal for hot cooked options. But fruit, pastries, yogurts were sparse. Coffee for breakfast was good, not so for the coffee in the room. We got back after our trip to Petrified Forest and were happy to learn that our bath/shower was repaired. There was a power outage that went from about 6pm to after 9pm that had everyone feeling miserable. No A/C, no lights, even Denny's next door couldn't fix any meals. Unfortunately, there is not an ice machine on every floor. Only on the first floor, which gave us a workout to go up and down stairs every time. And you had to use your room key-card to operate the ice machine. How many times did I leave my key there only to have to return by going up and down stairs again and the long walk from end to end. Overall, the staff is the only reason I would stay again at this BW. Michael at the front desk was very knowlegeable about things to do and arrive at my other destinations. Thank you Michael.

The hotel is a little away from the freeway but not so far as to be too far to go for a great night's stay. All my expectations were met. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff member I dealt with went out of his way to be sure I had a great stay. Thank you. I would recommed anyone to stay here.

Always appreciate the stay at The Arizonian Inn Best Western. Comfortable Beds and pillows. Clean room and everything was working. Have been staying here whenever in town for business over the last 20 yrs. For food the Denny's Restaurant located within the same property was good for Breakfast and Supper.

Our experience with the Arizonian Inn began the morning of our arrival, when the staff called to confirm our arrival. Nice touch. When we arrived, the check in was quick and easy. The property is an older one, but updated and very well maintained. Our rooms were nice. I had booked a 2nd floor room, because it was a bit cheaper and was pleasantly surprised when they assigned me a downstairs room close to my parent's room. The bed was super comfortable and had plenty of comfy pillows. The wireless worked like a dream. Breakfast was really nice with lots of options and Marcie was super friendly and helpful. Before booking, we had read the reviews. We were also looking at the Super8 in Holbrook, which had fairly negative reviews. Although we selected the option that was a bit more expensive, we made the right decision. The reviews about this property were definitely true and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here one night during Memorial Day weekend. Our room was nice and comfortable and relatively modern. The bed was comfortable. The people at the front desk were nice and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. We also enjoyed the free breakfast that came with the room. It was nothing fancy, but still was very comfortable. There is a Denny's adjacent to the motel as well.

My wife and I stopped at this hotel on our way to California. They even called to make sure we were still on our way. When we got there, they called our room to make sure everything was satisfactory. And they went out of their way to make sure the customer service was excellent.

We were price gouged here. When I caught it and advised the front desk they basically said too bad. Check the web site before walking in and read all the fine print. they won't honor the BW web site price. Apparently BW changes their prices by the minute! If I can avoid Best Western I will. Very poor customer service.

This my third stay here, in three different rooms. Each room has had a wide gap in the door frame and minimal weather stripping. Right now, there is a howling cold wind coming through the door, not to mention the loud rattling of the door in frame and the noise from outside. Forget your key? No problem. I opened the lock by sliding a pen into the door gap. Yes, it is in a little bit of a rundown area, but all the motels in town are, too.

Stayed here, last minute for a trip to national parks in the area. Hotel was clean and service was excellent. At check in, the desk clerk was attentive to our needs and informative about restaurants and sightseeing in the area. Would recommend this hotel.

This hotel would receive 4 stars if it was not for 2 major issues. First the positives: renovated, good and clean, good parking and a Dennys next door. Now for a reality check - Air conditioning does not work so expect to sweat away the night without any rest. It was about 90 degrees through the night and I only managed to fall asleep around 3 am, having to open the windows to let a little bit of air in. This is late August, so I cannot imagine cooking inside this room during the high summer heat! There are alarms going off all night - either electrical faults or fire alarm faults and none of the staff are bothering to reset or fix the issue, so expect to hear non stop beeping outside your room. Clearly this place has enough visitors where your money is squandered away by the ownership without actual customer service. $90 for this kind of service is absurd - I could have camped out in the back of my truck. From this point on I will avoid Best Western properties: the hotel is renovated but customers are neglected - Customer service should always take priority over housing quality.

Our stay at Arizonian Best Western, Holbrook, AZ was not worth the price of the stay. It is located in a poor location among rundown facilities and is perhaps the best of the choice. However, compared to choices in other locals the $133.25 rate would have secured a much nicer facility.

The hotel is very friendly, clean and well positioned for the diner next door. The rooms are very clean and spacious. This is an ideal stopping place on route 66 just off the interstate. I would recommend a stay here on your travels.

Double Billed and still not refunded. I advised the hotel staff Marcia couldn't do anything and Dakota front manager yelled at me and said he hadn't had time to call. GM lives in California so don't ever expect a response.

Coffee pot in room didn't work! Wanted to take a bath after traveling all day. Tub wouldn't hold water! Lobby smelled yucky! Staff wasn't very friendly and I think we were priced gouged because we were from California! Don't stay here! Keep looking!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Although the temperature was mild outside the room a/c unit struggled to keep the room cool. The breakfast was okay, the breakfast area was small and cramped. Checking in and out was slow even though I had reservations.

One of the nicest BW we stayed at. Comfortable clean pleasant room, excellent breakfast, and friendly/helpful staff. Easy on easy off l 40. We will stop there again. Convenient restaurant within walking distance for dinner.

I was charged more than the email reservation confirmation. The manager was rude and would not honor the reservation or cancel my reservation. I tried to show him my email but he didn't seem to care. He lost you a customer permanently!

Asked for handicap room and received 2nd floor room no elevator. They said for 35 dollars more I could have lower level room. Sheets had brown spots like they were wiped on. They did come and change the sheets but we still had to climb the steps and I am 100 percent disabled Veteran.

The room was very clean and nice. Better yet it conveniently had a Denny's in the parking lot and was very close to the highway entrance and gas stations. The breakfast room was a little small but the food was a great way to start the day.

We stayed at the Best Western for four nights. We were in town to see the Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, and Canyon de Chelly. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. The A/C worked well and there was good hot water. The hotel was fairly full every night. It appears to be the best hotel in town. Our hotel was on the second floor by the pool. We couldn't hear any noise from the pool or parking lot.

During a road trip from Prescott, AZ to Santa Fe, NM we stayed in this hotel twice. Once going out and another coming back after a week. We traveled with a dog and they charge $25 extra per stay. The room was of good size, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in working order. Breakfast was good and fresh. The breakfast hostess called Marcie was pleasant and very friendly with a great attitude. She even recognized me on the my return trip and asked if we had a good time.

We stayed here in January of 2019, it was being remodeled! Our room was clean, quiet, and the shower was clean! The breakfast was very good, a little small area abut the food was good! It was in walking distance to a Denny's so that was great!

We stayed in Holbrook only because of its proximity to Petrified Forest NP. Once I-40 replaced Route 66, Holbrook fell by the wayside. There is little to offer in this town, but The Best Western looks to be the best lodging around. It was comfortable and convenient. It shares a parking lot with w Denny's, which was very convenient. On its sign, it boasts "No Train Noise" which was accurate. The cross country freight trains run nearby frequently and we did not hear them.

Can't go wrong with this newest iteration of a once tired chain of motels, which has been revitalized. Good rooms, well lighted bathrooms, adequate free breakfast, coffee available all day and night. Free internet.

We have stayed at some old Route 66 motels and decided to upgrade ourselves and stayed at the Best Western. Good choice and we will stay here again. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. A person doesn't need much more!

We like the Best Western brand hotels. Although this is an older hotel the owners are working hard to update the rooms. It does have outside entrances so the dead bolt lock is appreciated. The room was freshly painted and roomy with the sink being outside of the bathtub and toilet area. We were there when the hotel was full so the parking lot was full and the breakfast room was busy. The breakfast person kept everything filled up and cleared the dirty dishes quickly so there was a spot for people when they came in to eat. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and extremely quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great but a little crowded. Would stay again if I was in Holbrook.

We booked a room while on the road. We arrived at hotel within 20 minutes of booking the room. We were unable to find a place to park the large moving truck we were in. We called to cancel the room and were told they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. I can appreciate that but it had only been 20 minutes from the time we booked the room to the time we called to cancel. They were completely full. I spoke with the manager on duty the next morning. She said they had completely sold out all rooms the night before. She again explained the cancellation policy and said she would pass my information on to the owner. Tina Gill. I have yet to hear from her. If you see her LinkedIn portfolio she says she is passionate about customer service. I would hope she would reach out to me. I don't feel we should be charged for the room since we never stayed there and we immediately cancelled. They were able to sell the room anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised with my hotel room. It appeared to have been freshly painted, as well as, newly renovated bathroom. I'm thinking they are undergoing renovations, as there are three rather large storage containers in the parking lot (taking up parking spots). The beds/pillows were comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly (front desk and breakfast). Don't be fooled by curb appearance. If you're still not convinced, I guess you can always ask to see a room. I received a call from hotel prior to arrival, asking to confirm my room reservation. Strange, I assumed the call was made because they had a full house)?). I did observe one strange item of interest - ...not sure what's being stored beneath the stairwell nearest ice machine. Probably needs to be removed if it's earmarked for disposal.

Death by 1000 little cuts… Neither room key would swipe properly, leaving me stranded outside the room with my luggage; the window curtains were hung backwards so you had to climb behind the sofa to open them or close them; the TV menu guide did not show what was currently broadcasting but what would be broadcast later that evening; the bathroom sink stopper didn't work; and the do not disturb sign disturbed me by banging against the door repeatedly, then falling off. What a comedy of errors!

I've stayed at this hotel before with great satisfaction. This visit is my last here because of management practices. We were driving to a conference and road conditions in the winter kept us from booking ahead because we didn't know how far we'd make it that day. We pulled into this hotel at about 9:00 pm, after a long day on the road. We were surprised by the high rate and were told that their hotel was like an airline: the closer you got to "departure" the higher the rate. I know from being in the industry for over 30 years that most hotels start discounting their rates as the night wears on so they won't have an empty room. Well, we accepted that explanation since we were tired and wanted to go to sleep. However, the invoice showed we paid $0.00. We asked for one that showed the price we paid and were assure that we'd get that in our email after departure. The emailed invoice showed the same $0.00 paid. We need the correct invoice for taxes and explained that to them and to HQ. An emailed request on my part didn't get a response and a phone call to HQ didn't get a response. Additionally, there was a pile of blankets/sheets under my stairwell. Initially I thought it was a haven for homeless people to sleep. Later I realized that's just where they store dirty linens. A great rat haven, I'm sure. Fortunately, Holbrook has many nice-looking hotels. We'll be trying those in the future.

Apparently a (60's, 70's) motor hotel remodeled into a Best Western. Everything was clean and working, staff was friendly. Free breakfast was minimal and mediocre, like many places; scrambled eggs, toast, sausage, juice, coffee.

We stayed in the Holbrook Best Western one night and had no complaints. The room was huge and had the most comfy pillows I have ever had in any hotel. We did not hear much traffic noise. Breakfast was included and well run. Would recommend.

The Arizonian is on the older side but very well maintained and clean. We delayed going to our room and went to dinner. We had only been in the room long enough to try and turn on the TV when the phone rang. It was the front desk checking that everything was ok with the room. I mentioned the TV - the response was immediate. He fixed it in moments and we had a relaxing evening.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly and the rooms are nice. The water and temperature of the shower was great and the beds are INCREDIBLY comfortable. I think next time we'd ask for a 2nd floor room though as at 5am it sounded like the guest in the room above us may have fallen out of bed (it was quite loud) but thankfully we had an alarm set for shortly there after. Only downside was that breakfast starts at 7am and we had to be on the road for 6am.

Decent room but left my My Pillow behind Called back later the same day and was promised a call back from the manager that never happened. Be careful the staff takes left behind items and motel doesn't follow up

Was impressed with the front desk workers, breakfast gal, and that it was so close to Denny's that we could walk to (by the way it was delicious & a lovely waitress). Overall we were very impressed with our stay in Holbrook, Az. Thank you!

Very friendly staff, check in and check out was not time consuming, rooms were very clean and breakfast was excellent and very clean, i will definitely stay there again when we return to Arizona, i highly recommend it.

We had a great stay here. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff (especially Aaron) were very pleasant and helpful. The hot breakfast buffet was amazing. Nobody leaves the breakfast buffet hungry! I highly recommend this Best Western to any travelers - it's a great value.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I pulled of the interstate in Holcomb looking for a hotel after a 13 hour drive. This hotel had the most cars and looked the best, so I pulled into the parking lot. Staff was great and knowledgeable. My room was updated and was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast had several options to eat and drink. Coffee hit the spot. Check out was ez.

Overall a nice stop for the night. Room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable and quiet away from train and highway noise. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning before hitting the road again on our travels. Staff was very friendly and personable.

Disclose extra costs up front before waiting till we arrive. I dispute the extra $90.00 added on to my bill this was for my Mother's funeral and I told them the ages of my adopted children when I made the reservation

This was the only hotel available due to a blizzard in the area. Our room rate was $40 more than what was quoted on the web. I asked for my deposit back when I arrived as the hotel looked nothing like the online photos. It was in desperate need of an upgrade, had poor lighting in the parking lot and there was no security on duty even though it was located next to a questionable 24 hour restaurant. Of course the manager denied my request for refund. The place was so scary we decided to drive another two hours knowing there was a clean, safe and respectable Hilton property ahead.

Highly recommend this place. Nice room - was clean and spacious! Staff super friendly at the front desk and breakfast room! Breakfast was better than average. A restaurant within walking distance. Quiet smaller town atmosphere. Will be back.

After a long days drive, this was a welcome and comfortable rest. Particularly impressive was at the morning breakfast, almost no disposable waste was used to serve and eat the meal. Porcelain plates, metal cutlery, coffee mugs, etc. were a welcomed change from other hotels\\motels. This shows a responsible approach to minimizing needless waste. The breakfast selections were very good - hot and cold items should satisfy everyone. We will return whenever in Holbrook.

After looking at what is available in Holbrook, I must say this is the best place to stay. The hotel is not great by any means but not horrible either. I found the front desk friendly and quickly provided me with all necessary for my stay. All rooms face outside. The room I was assigned was older and needing repair in the normal bathroom areas. I stayed in a room with a king bed. I found the bed to be rather uncomfortable and sagging. Breakfast was good with a very friendly staff person assisting. If I were to stay in Holbrook again, I would stay at this hotel. However, I will do my best to arrange my trips so that I can stay in another city. If you are staying in Holbrook, I recommend this hotel.

I stoped to book room. I ask teller if rooms r available. He reply's with the two only option. King for 137 or double for 100 so I then tell him I would prefer a king and proceed to give him my rewards number and corporate lodging card(clc). He then replies I cant give that room at that special clc discount. Ok I will take the other standard room, here is my clc card and my rewards number. He replies I can't enter your rewards number and give u the points or complimentary that your rewards get u at this hotel and use the clc special rate. I have had this service provided at every location I have been to aka y I have the rewards to begin with but u can't. No I can't he says. No not that u can't more so u won't I say. I came to your establishment to spend money for a room and be treated like any other guest. I understand there right to service but I feel if I had never told him payment was in a discounted form clc card. I would have been treated better And not like a bum or someone not wanted around. Discrimination happens in many ways and form and his refusal to serve me a room was a very open close case. Because my room was at a special price cause I stay in hotels 4+nights a week and have a card that helps that be possible he doesn't want to treat my with the same respect. To top It off I call to inform Charles the clerk that he offended me and I was going to right a bad review about him and the way he treated me. He replies if that is all u needed then we r done here. I replied I am not done here I am upset and hurt by your actions and lack of care and felt discriminated against. He said if u r done wasting time I need to go now there r customers!(and was a lie I was in the lot looking at him) at this point I ask to speak to manager or for the management above him. He says I am the manager. I replied ok then I just need to either get in touch with the owner or best western direct because your mistreatment to me will be heard by someone.

We had an excellent experience staying at the hotel. Our check in was smooth, the room was extremely clean, the beds were unbelievably comfortable, bathrooms were very clean, and the breakfast was amazing as it was a full breakfast buffet and very good!! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel in Holbrook. Excellent experience!

Older property with rooms well maintained. Great shower. Room large and fine. Breakfast had nothing to drink except decaf. No herbal tea, hot coffee and juice warm and spritzy. Service much better for prior stays.

We were on the road home to Kansas City Christmas night and decided to stay in Holbrook. We used Travel Advisor to book the Arizonian Inn. We were glad we did. The checkin, room, breakfast and checkout were all above our expectations. The staff was great. We commented we will stay here again in future travels. Good job, Arizonian!

Someone broke into my trailer at night and try to steal my belongings on hotel parking lot next to my room. On my complain to stuff nothing were done. I fhotel wants customers needs to make place safe.

This is one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. Beds are comfortable, newly remodeled. We are Best Western Rewards Members and received the discounted price for our room which also meant we were on the second floor. No elevators. Tough on senior citizens,!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was so good it defiently was the perfect start to our day. Beds were very very comfortable. Very quiet hotel. We will be stopping here next time we come thru. The girls at the breakfast buffet were awesome, very helpful

These three hotels are very nice, clean, friendly and reasonably priced. We stayed in one each night on our way to and back from TN. We have two small service dogs and had no problem with the staff. They even offer treats for the dogs. Great breakfasts and easy check-out. If you want a nice place to stay without paying a fortune for one night, then choose Best Western! We were very satisfied.

Best: The staff was so kind!, the location very opportune, the price excellent, the room clean, and the atmosphere calm.Future improvements: good selection of breakfast items, but would like more!I will be staying here again on my trips out West.

Standard motel exper. Room was clean and you enter from outside. Two flights of stairs and did not see a elevator not convenient if you have many bags and are on the second floor. Staff were friendly and helpful and Breakfast was just ok. There is a Denny's just across the parking lot. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and that is what matters most to us. Furniture somewhat dated and couch had a few stains but nothing unacceptable. Overall just what you expect for the price.

the room was clean and comfortable. TV got plenty of stations. Holbrook is between two sections of I-40 and the Best Western is right on the main drag. People were friendly. great value. Breakfast was great. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We stayed 6 nights and for Holbrook this is a very nice Hotel. Breakfast was good, but lacked variety for a six night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We plan to be Holbrook several times this next year and will stay at this Arizonian Inn.

This place just kept going down in my opinion. We arrived 51 mins early and weren't allowed to check in. Fair enough, but 4 men arrived immediately before and they were allowed to check in. When I asked if I could check in, they said my room 'probably' wasn't ready but didn't even check. Returned a few hours later and a different girl said hello, how are you, What's your name - and moved to the computer on the other side. I answered all of this. She then said hello, what's your name - really???? Pay attention to your guests. I asked about somewhere to eat and what Denny's was like. She said it's okay with no further explanation. Headed off to room on the second floor but no lifts so had to trail everything up 2 flights of stairs. Rooms very basic and strange smell on entering it. Breakfast was included and was very poor. It was luke warm at best, self service, which I don't mind, and served on paper plates and cups with real cutlery. Do not stay here is my recommendation.

This was the best mattress and pillow this vacation. This includes other name brand chains who only think they have a good mattress and pillows. The amenities were super as well. This is my review of the review. It annoys me greatly to say what I want to say and it will not post until I say more. Get rid of the 200 word minimum!

It was nice and Clean. Great room and easy to check in and out. We stayed here on our roadtrip one night. We had Everything we wanted for our stay. Clean room and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice to.

Miniature toilet, cracked. Overall outdated. Not clean, Breakfast fair. Pool unkempt. Sidewalks dirty. As stated, would not stay again. Staff not cordial. Cannot find additional words to describe this hotel.

My company stays here at this motel when we have to do rail work. we been staying here since the summer. My review is mixed. During the summer we were treated great, and got put in good rooms. At one point we stayed for about four weeks straight. The crew had rooms 110, 114; in that area. on our own personal time while relaxing, we even took the time and helped the two maintenance men put a new freezer in from the outside since they couldnt figure out how to get it through the entrance to the breakfast room. We told the Indian woman who identify herself at the general manager she better buy her two men some food because they put in a lot of hard work. Especially one of the older workers named Patel! Him & his wife are a treasure. There are times we would sit in patio area and they would give us some of their food from they make back home in india. we use our clc lodging cards. as of recent stays we been put in not good rooms, and there are times the motel wasn't fully occupied, and we are not allowed to be put in the better section. Various cleaning staff even acknowledges it. we had stayed one night on a saturday in late october, but weather didnt allow us to finish our work, so we returned the next week. I called ahead to reserve six rooms and spoke to woman named marcy. she told me i needed a credit card to hold the rooms and she guaranteed us they would be at our private rate. short time after i needed two more rooms, so i called back, but marcy said the two rooms would have to be at normal price. i was fine with that, and she said the price wasnt going to be "that expensive." our crew arrived and imagine our surprise when the young lady at the front desk with red hair and thick glasses told us all our rooms were for $110!! That is NOT what i agreed too! the young lady called two people to come help her. just by chance one of the other front desk people walked in, a hispanic guy. the young lady was clearly overwhelmed and told the guy she also called Jessie, but she was on dinner break at the denny's on site. i was getting frustrated when Jessie came in to our rescue. I explained what happened and she acknowledged us from staying the last week and saying "I remember you guys. You were here last week. Well, I am the Manager on duty, so I'll help you out." She honored the original agreement of the first six rooms being at our rate, and said that she values our return business, and didn't want to lose our business so she negotiated the rate of $81 for the remaining two rooms. We all thanked her for working with us that night, otherwise there are plenty of other places we could be spending our money at. So THANK YOU JESSIE for being a rockstar and helping us!! I do wish this place would give me the best western points. we stay at Marriott's and Hilton's in gallup, and they give us the points. Even the Best Western in winslow welcomes us with a warm dessert and gives us our bonus points and points for being elite members. Jessie said the rate is too low for clc, and supposedly clc doesn't allow points, but we pay the same clc rate at the one in winslow, and about the same in gallup, and those places dont give us the run around when it comes to that. the one in winslow tells us there is nothing in clc rules that say that. they been encouraging us to stay in winslow instead of holbrook. the rooms are always clean here at this best western in holbrook. thats something we can count on when we stay here. our company will continue to stay here things go better.

This is an older motel which has been tastefully updated. It was comfortable, safe, quiet and the staff was eager to make our experience as pleasant as possible. Entry to each room from the outside made it more convenient to take our dog out. There is an extra fee for the pet. The breakfast had many choices to get you started for the day and the coffee was better than most. I would recommend and would stay at this property again.

Convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. The staff were excellent. One issue with a water leak was promptly taken care of. Plenty of parking. Denny's right next door. I would definatley stay here again.

The room was perfectly fine--about as good as you're going to get in this part of the state. I can just imagine some of the video on file from the security camera monitoring the shower (see photos attached).

Our stay at the Best Western Holbrook AZ was less than fulfilling. The motel is old and quite outdated and less than spotless. Our room was average but the price for the room was over $30 more than a much nicer hotel, that we stayed in in Greenwood Village CO, the two days prior to our Holbrook stop. In addition the breakfast room was quite crowded and poorly laid out. Oh, and the food was less than average. We would defenitely look elsewhere if we ever had an overnight stay in Holbrook. In retrospect I wish we has just continued our trip and drove on to our home in Glendale, AZ instead of our stop in Holbrook.

Large comfortable, clean and quiet room. Great value in good central location. Parking lot shared with a Denny's which could potentially be problematic but I had no issues finding a spot close to room.

Holbrook, AZ is a little town you stay at if you're going to visit the Petrified Forest the next day (which I highly recommend). It's clean, functional, the check in people are nice and friendly. They also have Wi-Fi and a reasonable selection of TV channels. If you're traveling with a dog, the Best Western is your best bet.

This is not the Ritz, but then you are not paying for that level of comfort. On arrival we asked to be moved away from the Denny's restaurant (which is nothing to do with the motel) and the road to ensure that we had a quiet room. The receptionist did this without fuss and we had a room upstairs around the corner but not right above the pool area. I slept well. The rooms were clean and had all you needed but no safe or microwave. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and serviceable. We sat out by the pool in the evening. The laundry is behind the staircase adjacent to the pool but was closed later in the evening when we revisited for a quiet drink before bed.Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and there was indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of choice for breakfast and good coffee. Smooth checkout.

We recently stayed at this hotel on our way through Arizona. The check in process was easy and the front desk associate was attentive. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, but it seemed like everyone else was on the 1st floor, so it was nice and quite. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was not completely convenient, as the hotel shares parking with a Denny's restaurant. We left to go to dinner and when we returned we had to park further away from our room than before. Unfortunately, we didn't partake in the breakfast because it was completely packed in the room when we arrived.

I booked last minute and was so relieved to be put in a spacious very clean room on the second floor. After driving all day from Los Angeles all I wanted to do was take a hot shower and be somewhere warm and quiet. I am glad I booked this Best Western over the one in Winslow, the town felt less desolate and the hotel was surrounded by tourist comforts. Breakfast the next day was a good mix of hot and cold foods and service was great. I do recommend getting a room closer to the lobby. My room was closer to/above Dennys and the noise carried.

Stayed here for 1 night on a road trip. Reservation was prepaid however the motel still billed us for a night's stay. When we called I was put on hold and transfered to another person without telling us which was weird because we were in the middle of our question. Eventually after about 10 days and several mails we got our money back but not all of it because of the currency exchange rate. Just sent my second mail about that, so far no reply. Breakfast was ok but otherwise no reasons to stay there again. Room was mediocre and not very clean.

This was the 7th hotel on our Route 66 Adventure as booked by ATI and Virgin Holidays for a one night stay. It's a regular no frills motel but the room was clean, comfortable with everything we needed. A Denny's restaurant is on site - job done!! We had a quiet undisturbed night which was amazing for a motel just off the interstate.

No problem with this very comfortable, clean room with two queen beds. Something you almost never see anymore is central air conditioning, which makes the room much quieter than it would be with the heating and AC unit in the room. No elevator for seniors, so if you can't climb stairs with your luggage and can't get a first-floor room, this BW isn't for you. The technology was very good. Solid Internet that allowed us to stream to our Firestick and plenty of plugs for charging devices. One gripe was breakfast. The machine that dispenses OJ was broken, so why not just put out a couple of containers of juice from the local market? As it was, there was no OJ. Also, the room was loaded with flies that kept buzzing around the food. On balance, a good value and a very comfortable room.

Stayed at BW Arizonan Inn. Was very quiet at night, comfortable clean rooms, easy on and off I-40, great breakfast, easy check in. Marci was very helpful with entering my rewards points. Denny's next door for dinner which was convenient.

Thss 20th century, outside entry BW was just great. The front check proved an efficient check-in and provided us an upgrade to a King room when asked. The room was the large BW room I expected with recent upgrades throughout. I had forgotten how nice is was to be able to back the car right up to the door of the room allowing a 15 foot bag drag! Having the Denny's 30 seconds away in the parking lot was also nice. I'll stay here again.

This hotel was clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I don't think anyone who stays here would be disappointed. They also have a Denny's next to it, and it was clean and after a 12 hour drive it was nice to walk over there and have dinner.

This is a great place to stop if you are doing a road trip. Location is really good. Staff are helpful and they provide a simple but very acquitted breakfast. Remember this is 'OLD SCHOOL' type of hotel. No elevators. Not a biggie but it is 2 story and if you have heavy cases you might want to request the lower level. Sadly we were booked into one of the upper lever units and had to pay an additional $65.00 and we were not happy with that. There were available units on the lower level but the management won't help us and we are not young anymore so felt under pressure to pay.

Property is nice and recently renovated. The 2 front desk men were VERY good at taking care of checking in and internet info. Room was basic with nice TV and shower. Very nice for the price and location!

We (myself, my sister and cousin) stayed at the Best Western Arizonian Inn in Holbrook, AZ. We originally booked our room for two nights, 9/16-9/18 and then we needed to extended our reservation for another night the night before we were due to check out. The front desk guy that was there between 8-9pm on 9/17/18, said that would be okay and he charged my card for the additional night. After arriving from a very hectic day of trying to get my senior aunts medical affairs in order, we go to our room but none of our room keys are working. We make our way down to the front desk, to our disbelief and astonishment they inform us that our keys were not working because there was someone staying in the room. They had taken our belongings and placed all our food into garbage bags and moved it to their back office. At this point I am in tears not knowing why this has happened, the other staff members look on and smile mockingly at us. None of the front desk staff even offer an apology for their actions or even an explanation. Jesse the front desk manager never apologized for the ill treatment we received from Michael or from her, she herself never offered an explanation for their actions. Until now I still have not received an explanation or an apology for the events that occurred on that dreaded night. I have never experienced anything like this before. This hotel and it's employees have no respect, consideration or at the very least empathy for their guests. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I stayed here to see the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert. The rooms were very large for this type of hotel. Everything was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. People were friendly. The breakfast room was small and food choices adequate. Big plus: there was an incredible view of the sunset across the street (up by the dog park). If in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights here cos visiting the Petrified Forest, and it was a good choice. Its standard Best Western but the rooms are clean and comfy, good breakfast buffet, and very friendly and helpful staff.

We stopped here for one night on our driving trip from Phoenix to Santa Fe. Our room was on the second floor, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and so welcoming. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff ready to help with anything needed. It's a bit crowded for breakfast, but still comfy. I was very impressed with the lotion and other products provided in the room- I'm very picky about lotion and this matched my favorite. Strongly recommend you stop here, if it fits your trip. The Italian restaurant down the street, recommended by the hotel staff, was good and the service excellent.

Stopped here for one night and had a very nice evening and comfortable sleep. Best restaurant in town is a short walk from the hotel but there is also a Denny's in the car park if you want standard American fare. Breakfast was decent although polystyrene plates again. Staff were friendly and check in/out simple. Nice swimming pool as well.

We spent only one night here in Holbrook on our road trip to Palm Springs. I was pleasantly surprised at the BW, much better than I expected. There's very little in Holbrook so I didn't expect much from the hotel. The rooms are situated motel like, on two levels, but no elevator to the upper level. Check in was prompt but we arrived early and our room wasn't ready. We got lunch and returned 45 minutes later and were given our room. On our way around to our room we noticed the property was very clean, staff were visible sweeping hallways and cleaning outside windows. Our room was on the upper level but no elevator so we had to struggle with luggage up the stairs. The room was bigger than I anticipated, and spotless. The bathroom had the usual shower curtain which I hate, but it was so clean I can only assume it had all been recently redecorated. The bed was comfy but the air conditioning was a bit noisy. There's a small pool area and seating which appeared clean and well maintained. Breakfast is included and wasn't bad for a free breakfast, cereal, yoghurt, breads and pastries and hot food. Not gourmet by any means but perfectly ok to start your day. I noticed a lot of company trucks parked in the lot overnight so can only assume the hotel is used by workers in the area. It's not a tourist location so I don't suppose the hotel caters usually for tourists. All in all the BW offered a clean comfortable affordable accommodation and was good value for money.

Been staying at this hotel fr quite a few years and always make an attempt to stop in each year while visiting friend in CO. Stay on return trip back to AZ. Staff are always pleasant and friendly!! Check out what is in Holbrook and surrounding areas. Petrified Wood is a great take.

Checked in after a long days drive. The room was nice and clean. There was a fairly good size refrigerator with a separate freezer. The staff was super! The breakfast staff helped us with to go items. James helped me with my suitcase because it was poirpou rain.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was amazing. I slept like a baby. The breakfast was okay - I understand that this is free, but a little more variety would be nice. Really liked the fact that there was real cutlery, not plastic, and real dinnerware. The girls working in the breakfast area were very nice and accommodating. I can't say enough nice things about these two girls.

Room was very clean and comfortable, lovely pool, help yourself breakfast which suited us - lots of choice, properly cutlery (versus plastic) lovely pool area, easy and quick check in and out and very near interstate (although quiet) for on going journey, would definitely recommend

Everything about this hotel is great except the breakfast. I realize this is a free service and I'm not being ungrateful, but they could offer a little more quality and variety without busting the budget.

My son and I stayed there a week and a half ago, where our car was damaged in their lot. I asked them in person and via email, to review the surveillance in an effort to determine who did it and how it happened. No manager ever contacted me, and my requests were ignored. Definitely would never stay there again, and would caution others regarding their lack of assistance to their customers.

We love Holbrook, Az as a stopping point in our travels west. We booked our stay here this time. We found the best room price through Best Western's online site. $66 with taxes for a spacious two queen comfy bed room. The room was well updated. Granite counter tops and granite shower/tub bathroom. I love the light Yucca fragrance they used too in the room. We had a fridge, coffee/tea maker with both available to make. And we had a microwave. Large screen tv and free wifi! Also a comfy chair with a footrest. A full hot breakfast is included. Marcie and the other young ladies serve a wonderful hot breakfast. There are yummy seasoned potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. You can also have cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, danishes, muffins or toast. There is coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice and milk. (Butter and syrup too)! All fresh and the serving area is clean. They even have real plates and utensils if you prefer or paper plates and plastic forks if you are on the go. We needed the rest after 15 hours on the road yesterday. The beds were very comfy and we rested nicely. Thanks Best Western at the Arizona Inn, Holbrook, Az!

Friendly, helpful folks at check-in and a clean quiet room. Breakfast was decent. My only gripe is the layout of their breakfast room. Everything is on one side in one long line and it gets very crowded and very chaotic. Other than that, everything else was fine.

A nice hotel with clean, big rooms, and with a good breakfast. There is a Danny's Diner front of the hotel. A Best Western quality place. I cant say anything negative about this hotel, we were statisfied with the services.

Horrible customer service. Called on the way into town and received a rate but was given a higher rate upon arrival. Tried discussing the issue and was not treated well at the front desk. When i went to the front desk to discuss our rate after 15$ was added on; I said I spoke to someone not even 10 minutes prior to arrival they both denied speaking to me at all. Even though when we arrived we were greeted and asked if we were the people who they just spoke to on the phone. They then called us in the room and i said “did you quote me for 3 people at 130 and i said it was too high?” The front desk said “yes” i then asked “did you then quote me at 89.99?” He said yes. I didn't just suddenly not have three people and therefore a higher rate was given after we had cancelled a prior reservation at a different hotel to come here.

Although the Inn sets neatly in the desert, it is a quiet and clean break from the road. It's unfortunate that the degraded society in the area has required the ice machine to be key card locked and strict adhearance to breakfast tickets is needed. However, such is 2018. We highly recommend this Inn

My work took me to Holbrook for a night and after searching my options I ended up here. An older, but well maintained, property but my stay was everything I needed. A decent breakfast selection of eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, and cold cereal today gave me plenty of options. No pets allowed and room access is from the outside (neither a problem for me) as a heads up for other travelers. I would certainly stay again if overnight travel takes me here.

We stayed 1 night while on a roadtrip to visit national parks and other landmarks. The hotel was easy to find (not too far off I-40), parking was plentiful, and the check-in was very quick and painless. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the AC was kicking all night. I know a complaint has been the noise and AC problems but we didn't experience that. We were located on the first floor at a building adjacent to where you check-in. We have two small kids and they were happy so that is always a positive. While there are not many restaurants, there are a few good local places to eat nearby. Breakfast is provided and we found it to be pretty good. While not a lot of selections, there is enough to fill you up and it was enjoyable. I would stay at the Best Western Arizonian Inn again if I pass through Holbrook.

We were there for 2 nights in Room 217 which faces the main street. Room doors open to exterior walkways, so you heard some parking lot and traffic noise. You also heard the oil-rig workers/construction workers that hung out smoking outside our room. Other rooms had cigarette butts in front of them the next day, not just ours, so there was more than one group. During the day we left and came back to a strong smell of marijuana on the walkway by our room. We reported it to the front desk - they did nothing. When I followed up in the morning, they said they were going to check later that morning - which is a little late! The room was also HOT. The A/C didn't cool the room down until about 3am, which is a bit too late. When we checked out the desk clerk asked if we had the maintenance guy reset the A/C unit. We didn't know that was an option - and frankly, if A/C issues are a known problem, then tell guests when they arrive! This was not a good representation of Best Western hotels.

Stayed here while driving back from Illinois. I needed a pet friendly hotel since I was traveling with my dog. The tv would not wirk but as soon as I called the front desk someone came and fixed it. There was sound but no picture and apparently this is a common problem with their provider. I think 20.00 pet deposit is a lot for a small dog that is never left alone in the room. It was kind of weird structurally as my room was in a separate building quite a ways from the front desk. Since I left early in the morning before breakfast was served the front desk clerk was kind enough to give me a cup of coffee to go.

We just neded a place to spend one night as we drove between St. George UT and Las Cruces NM. Arrived at 10 pm, left at 8. Staff welcoming and easy going. Room clean. Towels good. Shampoo kind of fancy. Room quiet. Breakfast typical for motel dining. Wait staff great. Nice experience and I would stay again. Three stars because it is what it is- a motel for travellers on Rte 66. Can't go wrong here.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, typical breakfast offerings. It was very hot the two nights I stayed there and the a/c worked great. Because of the heat you can expect a hot shower in the morning! Visit some of the old Route 66 sites (like the WigWam motel) while in Holbrook.

First the hotel charges an additional $10.00 per night for a first floor room even for disabled. No elevator, breakfast eggs tasteless probably powdered eggs. When we arrived room refrigerator was turned off and did not get cold for several hours, ice machine was out of ice and turned off not working in the morning. No front desk attendant during check out. would not stay at this hotel again, staff was not very friendly, seemed bothered during check in.

Pleasant stay on a trip to California while visiting the Petrified Forest National Park. The hotel was clean and safe off a main avenue off I-40. There was a Denny's next door within walking distance. Had complementary breakfast which was average.

This hotel served our needs for a short one night stay to visit the nearby Petrified Forest National Park. The hotel is basic, but clean, quiet, and had friendly and efficient staff. Our room had a refrigerator which is always appreciated. The space for breakfast was tight, but everyone managed! Definitely a good choice for a National Park visit.

Be careful when you book this hotel online. It is the only hotel we have ever stayed at that lists the floor you are booking in the small print on the side. Also expect to pay more if you need a handicap room. The dog area is not located in an area that is convenient to get to. We found the front desk personnel to be very unprofessional and follow through on handling issues to be incomplete. Not the standards we are used to for Best Western.

One night stay, greeted by young lady Jerri who was totally charming and very helpful. Excellent value for money wholly recommend to stay here. It was a great breakfast . Room was excellent sadly shower was a bit weak but other than that brilliant stay.

First of all, to be fair to this Best Western, we had stayed in the Best Western in Elk City, OH and that was just a very nice hotel. This Best Western was just not as wonderful as that. Our room was clean, but had a bit of a musty smell to the carpet. The description of the hotel included air conditioning and 24 hour coffee, but after we checked in, neither was available. We opened up our door and windows, as others did and aired out and cooled off the room. It was fine after that. Comfortable beds. Okay bathroom. Pretty good complimentary breakfast and super friendly staff members. No elevators, so if you have heavy bags ask for a ground level room. As we were tired after a days long drive, we were just interested in a good night sleep and getting on the road again and this suited our purpose. Would we return ... probably nit.

After an 8+ drive coming from the LA area, the beds were very comfortable, room was clean. I have no complaints. Very happy with our stay here and the receptionists in the night and morning are very very kind. You can either eat complimentary breakfast or go to Denny's in the same parking lot.

When we arrived, we were greeted by Charles. Charles welcomed us and we told him our name and he quickly informed us that we only had one room instead of the two that we booked. As we were about to protest, the phone rang and Charles scream answered the phone with a deafening “BEST WESTERN ARIZONIAN INN THIS IS CHARLES HOW MAY I HELP YOU???!!!!” He continued to scream into the phone to this other customer and completely ignore us. After several minutes, the other employee, Danielle decided that she was able to stop ignoring us and help us. She quickly deduced that someone else had gotten our second room and that there were no other rooms available for what we needed. We were traveling with a total of 10 people, 5 of which are young children. We had been in the car for 12 hours and just wanted to sleep. We tried to see if they would somehow accommodate us with 3 rooms for the price of one, being that this was their fault. Both employees couldn't quite comprehend that we just needed a place to stay and Charles had to stop helping us every time the phone rang so that he could shout into the phone at whichever poor soul had called in to ask about rooms. While my father in law was trying to explain that that we needed four beds, Danielle interrupted him by saying, “You know what? I don't need this job,” as she removed her name tag and walked out of the building and then drove off in her car. By this time, Charles was screaming the predicament into the phone to his manager, who clearly couldn't understand the situation because Charles had to shout it to him about 15 times. During this time, we just decided to go somewhere else. As my father in law began to tell Charles to cancel our reservation, he held up a finger to silence him and kept talking to his manager on the phone. My father in law asked to speak to the manager on the phone and Charles immediately said that wasn't possible. I asked, quite incredulously, “Shouldn't you ask you manager that?” The manager must have heard me say that because Charles held the phone out for my father in law. He told the manager that we were canceling and that we were not going to be paying for the rooms or any cancellation fees. We drove down to the Lexington Inn and they were incredibly accommodating. They gave us two rooms, matched the price of the Best Western rooms, and apologized to us for the treatment we got at the Best Western. Which, mind you, was the only apology we got tonight from anyone. If you are staying in Holbrook, do yourself a favor and don't even consider the Best Western.

On our Sierra Nevada tour we stayed at several motels and this one I liked the best for several reasons. The room was spacious, clean and updated. The rooms are accessed from outdoors so the vehicle could be parked within a few feet of the door which meant if you stay on the lower level there's not must distance to haul you luggage. The shower and commode were separate from an additional dressing mirror and sink which was convenient for more that one person attending to hygiene or bathroom needs. The breakfast area could use better lighting and the items which were suppose to be hot could have been hotter but overall it was a good place to stay.

This Best Western property was up to the chain's customary, consistent standards. We enjoyed our stay here. We arrived late-ish for supper so the delivery was a bit slow but the food was enjoyable. Nice courteous staff.

Had a wonderful stay, very nice and outgoing staff. Breakfast was nice and theirs a dinner infront making the dinner and breakfast options easy. Clean, simple, nice hotel. Right off I-40 making it an easy place to stay at when on the road.

Since you won't find any fancy hotels in Holbrook, the Best Western is the next best thing. Parking is a little tight, but they have larger vehicle parking behind the office for trucks w/trailers. Room was clean and simple.

We started Route 66 in Chicago with our first night's stay in Joliet Illinois at a BW. The reason why I like BW is their consistency in everything from the rooms down to the great breakfast the next morning. This one had another great breakfast and the room was nice and quiet. Pretty close to everything we wanted to see. ????

We booked the suite which was fantastic - spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, although the breakfast room was a bit tight. The reception staff was great and gave us great tips for dinner and shopping.

Nice clean motel that reminds you of the 60's. Needs updating and remodeling. Excellent staff who were very helpful. Very close to a Denny's restaurant which has good food. The breakfast was typical of a continental breakfast but included scrambled eggs.

Friendly employees nice and clean room good breakfast. Only complaint I have was I booked on line and the price I chose was second floor room which they don't tell you that on the website. Since we didn't want to lug luggage up to the second floor we requested a room on the first floor and it cost us an extra $20. Feel this is a rip-off since they don't tell you about this on the website. Suggest booking directly with hotel to ensure you know all the facts

Stayed for one night. Roon was comfortable, bed a bit worn. The low rating comes from the breakfast room. Small, crowded, tough to move around and inattentive staff. Had to ask two employees before the empty coffee dispenser was replaced.

Recently upgraded hotel with nice rooms. Got a good night's sleep. Quiet. Reasonable price. I've stayed here before, and likely will again. Breakfast was good. Weather beautiful, and I ate outside on patio. Very good service at front desk.

I was passing through Holbrook on my way to Albuquerque and stopped here. It was a very nice Best Western with everything you expect from a Best Western. The free hot breakfast was good, and the staff was very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again if I was staying in Holbrook. For checkout, they told me to just leave the key in the room.

While the exterior may be a bit old looking the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is really good too. I've stayed here before and returned based on my last visit. Probably one of the nicer places in Holbrook.

Was passing through. This was my second time using this location. It's quiet and convenient. The only down side is that the nearest restaurant is a Denny's. And when it's crowded, it's disruptive. The room was clean. Would prefer better soaps/shampoos etc. Internet was really good. Would like to have seen more food amenities in the lobby; water, soda, wine and beer? Breakfast was the usual. The last time I was there, they made the eggs in a funny way - like a pancake. I actually liked it like that. I was disappointed that they didn't do it that way this time. Just the same old scrambled eggs.

Our check in this time was a breeze. Byron, the clerk was outstanding. He is friendly, courteous, caring and looks after your needs. Tina Gill, you need more employees like him. He is a keeper. He accommodated our needs when I requested a first floor room without any hassle. Thanks Byron.

my family and I were on the last leg of our spring break trip through AZ and were pretty wiped out! The hotel appeared a bit old school in architecture but the staff really was great and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. Breakfast was good, room was quite and the coffee was hot! nice work guys:)

The room was pretty big and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool wasn't open for the season yet. An exercise room would be nice to be able to get some exercise after a long day of driving. Breakfast was good except the eggs were a little questionable.

Generally average motel. From the outside it looks quite modern but the rooms have a dated look to them. All rooms are accessed by an exterior corridor. The front desk staff on checking in and out were particularly friendly whilst the breakfast staff packed everything away the moment the clock struck 9am. Overall it was fine but not exceptional in any way.

Our stay at Best Western, Holbrook was excellent. Everything exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms were well equipped and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

First off the front office person that worked on 4/15/18 is really nice and called the room after we were in the room for 30 minutes to check that everything was OK with room and could he help with anything. Room was in very good condition and everything worked great.Beakfast was also very good. Only bad thing was the roll in shower but in the last 5 years and over 50 hotels I have only come across 2 that are really good. Its just they don't have the room to make it the right way. Price was very reasonable for a Best Western even on the cheap side. Stayed in room 154 on 4/15/18

Service above average. Beds good, room clean and maintained. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Two hot trays... oatmeal.. potatoes... sausage eggs. Plus other mainstays. Very friendly staff both at check in.breakfast and at check out. Good consistency. Enjoyed stay, felt safe. Would stay again

My wife and I were heading north from Tucson back to Western Canada and Holbrook was a convenient first stop. The Arizonian offered a clean, comfortable and quiet room. The breakfast was ample and definitely met our needs (and expectations). And the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return.

Great hotel with a great restaurant. Difficult to get into and out of the parking lot. The parking lot is large enough to hold all of the cars. The hotel is long so getting from your room to the restaurant is quite a walk.

I am a solo female traveler, and although I usually stay in hotels with interior doors, I felt very safe and comfortable in this hotel. Noise was not a problem. Its location was very convenient to the Petrified Forest National Park, where I had spent the day.

Stayed here last year and had the same good experience this year. Can't beat the breakfast. Professional staff. Nice Italian restaurant 0.2 miles down the road. Very convent to I-40. National parks a short drive away.

Good location when visiting petrified forest. Rooms all have outside entrances and are a bit small, but staff were all very helpful and breakfast had more choices than most Best Westerns we have visited. Italian restaurant nearby was excellent despite outside appearance.

We travel from Ontario Canada to southern California have used this place for 3 years late November and late March, always paid $70.00 to $80.00 per stay including tax, got there Mar 22/18 was told price was $120.00 + tax explained that we had been using for 3 years and what price we paid, the desk clerk told me busy time we can charge what we want!! From here on out it will be Days Inn across the road for single night stays the rooms are just as good

We stayed at this hotel for a quick break on a long road trip. The hotel staff is friendly the rooms are clean and I felt safe parking my car there with some of our luggage still in the trunk. The quality matches the price and the included breakfast is nice when you're short on time and have a family. It is also close to the interstate so it's easy to get back on the road.

This was our first stop in a cross country road trip. We arrived in the early evening and the check in process was quick and easy. We stayed towards the back, away from the road. The room was nice and comfortable, but the bathroom was small. Other then that we got a good nights sleep. The breakfast was the usual and I cannot complain about it for the price. I would recommend this location for a quick stop and comfortable bed.

The hotel was comfortable, close to the interstate and near a good Italian restaurant. We only stayed there one night on our trip, and then headed to the Petrified Forest National Park. The location worked well for our itinerary.

Front desk very nice. We changed our plans at the last min and they had a room available. Orginal room was on upper level but preferred something on first level and they were able to accommodate us, room was very clean and inviting. Breakfast was the usual and satisfying.

Recently stayed at this property. It was just an ok hotel but Charles is the star here. When we were 2nd in line to check in, he was graciously dealing with a needy guest, while answering call after call, w/o missing a beat. He was so pleasant & professional the entire time. What an asset he is to this property.

My stay was very refreshing! The room was clean and had a lot of nice touches....like refrigerator, remote TV, nice bathroom, free wi-fi. . Clean and not smelly was important to me. Of course there is a pool and many eating choices nearby.

Stopped here for one night on my way to New Mexico. Check in was quick and staff could have not been nicer. The gentleman at the desk even called my room to assure all was well. Rooms large and comfortable, although the room was really dark with heavy curtains. Bathroom was also very big with sink outside the toilet/shower area, convenient when two or more are traveling together. Enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

We always stay at the AZ BW and have always enjoyed our stay. We like the value. The breakfast is just okay. Otherwise, the stay was great as usual. Desk staff is always friendly, helpful and accomodating.

The issue started when the door wouldn't unlock. Had to go the office and you employee helped us get in. When the door opened, we found that the beds had not been made and there were no towels. Inconvenient but not a big deal – he got us bedding and we made the beds. He apologized and left. Being very tired from driving we just wanted to shower and sleep. We found there was no soap in the bathroom or vanity areas, in fact all there was is some conditioner and lotion. I was a bit upset but decided to just go to sleep rather than go back and forth with the office. When we woke in the morning we turned on the lights and were horrified at the state of the room. It looked to be ½ way through a remodel or something. As you can see in pictured 1-4 (attached) walls were dirty and there were bare plaster repairs all over the room, and bare wires and partial light fixture hanging in the closet area. Then I went to shower and there was calking and debris on the bathroom floor behind the door. Tried to shut the bathroom door and it wouldn't even close as the latch was off by 1/8” and was metal to metal as seen in pics 6 and 6.5. Even the light switch was filthy. I can honestly say I've never stayed in room as dirty and nasty as this one – I was pissed especially after paying $95 for the night. I tried to contact hotel manager with no success. I sent this letter and photos to corporate customer service. I did receive an email that simply said call us. I did, they offered a whole10% off my next stay. I said tat wasn't satisfactory. they said the hotel manager would need to contact me for more. that is now over a month ago with repeated attempts to contact management. Leaves me with one conclusion - this Best Western doesn't care about it's customers.

We stayed here one night in late February and were very happy to find the rooms clean, comfortable, with everything working well, including the heater and the wi-fi. Breakfast could be a little more creative but overall it was fine. We ate dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant the staff recommended (I think it was called Mesa) and were also pleasantly surprised.

This facility is usually always on our travel itinerary when driving to California from Iowa. Great beds, breakfast, pet-friendly (extra charge), and a Denney's right next door! Does it get better than that?

Front desk staff were very professional and helpful. Our room was very nice, large and clean. We liked the room set-up, which was a little different than most hotels. The breakfast which was included in the price was very good.

The building is older than most Best Westerns but it has been updated. Rooms were plenty large. The staff was pleasant upon checking in as was the staff at breakfast. The breakfast choices were good and there something for everyone.

We booked at the last minute because it was starting snow as we headed towards Flagstaff and we didn't have a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The price was reasonable so we called ahead and booked a room. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and welcoming and they recommended El Rancho restaurant for dinner, which was great. The room was super clean and everything was in working order. I was worried about possible road noise at night, but it was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and good and is in the hotel next to the lobby. Cereal, fruit, English muffins, pastries, and even make-your-own waffles. The lady at the front desk was very helpful as we checked out and looked up road conditions and weather reports for us when we expressed concern about driving conditions. We had no issues at all with Best Western, and will definitely stay there again if we're in Holbrook.

the staff from the hotel used my credit card to purchase nights on different dates. dates that i didnt book and didn't stayed in the hotel. when asking them to explain why they charged me they said they will check with the manager who is out of the country. for almost 2 weeks they keep told me that only the manager can check and refund and he doesn't reply to emails... i had to open a dispute n the credit card company.

This Best Western was a gem. I honestly was expecting less but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and the bed / room was very comfortable. The parking lot was lit up very well. All at a very reasonable price. The breakfast staff were excellent!

Efficient check in process, front desk clerk was pleasant. Room was typical, bed was comfortable but did not care for the bed pillows. Way too small and on the soft side for us. Noise level was minimal except for early risers leaving and slamming doors. Travel book said the hotel has a restaurant but it's a Denny's right next door. Breakfast is complimentary while staying and must show admittance tickets as proof you are a guest. Typical breakfast food, nothing out of the ordinary. Free parking and free wifi.

I stopped at the last minute at Best Western in Holbrook, AZ...with no advance reservations. Best decision every. The room was excellent, quiet and the staff was very friendly. The area for breakfast was very clean, and the food was very good and fresh. If in the area I will stop again.

Really nice rooms good breakfast 5 stars all the way around and there's a Denny's right in the parking lot makes it really convenient it is a little far from the freeway but it is well worth the drive

Online booking service booked wrong day. Manager said she would give discounted rate...not true. Charged extra. I was too tired to cancel. Low quality linen/towels, overpowering hotel smell, no secure WiFi, no elevator for disabled. Woulda, coulda shoulda gone on to Flagstaff for better hotel at same price. First bad best western I have encountered.

The hotel was fine, the room was fine EXCEPT for a deadbolt that was non functional. After taking 2 phone calls to get someone from the front desk to come to our room, he could not fix the deadbolt. He tried assuring us that we were in a very safe area and should be fine with that unlocked. I told him that was NOT acceptable. So we ended up moving to the room next door.

Make sure you reserve a first floor since this hotel does not have an elevator, It will cost a bit extra tho. Nice breakfast with hot food options, you'll have to get coffee at the nearby McDonald's because the hotel coffee is horrible.

Arrived on time the friendly desk clerk had pre arranged reservation in order. We have a dog and our room was very clean and warm. It was ground level for convenience and worked well. It was full so there was passing guests and constant vehicle movement. The breakfast area was small and crowded at 8am. The coffee was excellent and the stay was good. I would stay again. Very convenient to Rte 40.

The bed was uncomfortable and small even though the room was large.. Breakfast was in a small crowded noisy room and the food counter wasn't well organized. The staff was friendly and the property clean.

This is one of the worst places that I have ever stayed at. Considering the cost of the room, it should have been so much better. I had trouble with the room itself as it had just had a carpet cleaning that day and the carpets were soaking wet. We were not treated well with help finding another comparable room or packing up and moving everything to another room. I asked for compensation and got the "run around" from staff. The new room was old and noisy. Everytime someone took a shower upstairs it sounded like a 747 and continued for ;10-15 minutes. The bed was soft and lumpy. The armchair was stained and looked dirty. The whole place looked old and dated.

Our room on the ground floor was very nice and clean. Beds and pillows are great, very quiet, the heater is not annoyingly noisy. There is a real window with natural sunlight in the bathroom. Very convenient dining-- walk less than 1 minute to Denny's which sort of share the same parking lot. The breakfast room can be crowded. all mugs, dish and utensils are reusable ones, no plastic throw-away trash. Staff is super nice and friendly. great location. highly recommended.

Clean, spacious room with microwave and fridge. Comfortable beds and located in a quiet area of town, far away from railway noise. It has an outdoor swimming pool but it's closed during winter, no hot tub. No laundry either. Next to a Denny's diner, very convenient. Friendly reception staff. Good for visiting Petrified forest and Painted desert.

Usually we like BW but this time handicapped walk in shower ran all over the floor. Good thing we took our showers in AM or we would have been swimming to toilet Breakfast was gross. rubber eggs. They need to improve their breakfast choices. People working there were very nice to us about everything.

We understand that Holbrook is a small town but there seemed to be many tourists passing through. This is an older motel. We had ground floor rooms but it didn't appear that someone was above us. It was clean but older. My biggest objection came in the morning when we went to shower. It was extremely difficult to adjust the faucet to get hot water. I got a very quick warm, at best, shower and my husband a cold one. The free breakfast is as one would expect. It did become quite crowded though. We found the staff to be courteous and friendly.

Hotel is older and out side is drab. the front desk girl was wearing a VERY wrinkled shirt. I reported a sticky front door but it was never fixed in the 3 days i was there. the Breakfast hostess was friendly and caring. she kept it well stocked and clean. the room was drab inside but well kept.

This is your typical little two story motel. Very clean, beds are soft, (a little lumpy) rooms good size, microwave, frig, 31 channels on the TV, nice flat screen and easy access to highway. I would stay again.

Needed a quick place to stay for the night. We looked this up on the internet. At check in everything matched what we found on the internet. This hotel was conveniently located. The staff at check in was very helpful with directions for the next day and also gave us helpful information for where we could attend church the next morning.

This is not a 5 star hotel, the room was clean and serviceable, the staff service was good and the breakfast served up was similar to some higher priced establishments. If you cannot carry bags upstairs you need to ask for a ground floor room. This is and old style hotel where cars park outside the rooms, so some early morning noise may disturb late risers.

When we checked in we had to wait for someone to return to open up for us to check in. Once we entered the room the bed looked like it had been layed on. As the complimentry breakfast goes I can not believe that you needed a ticket to have a mediocre continental breakfast. It was a standing room only and they would only bring out very little food so if you were not trying to find a place to sit then when you waiting on coffee or the food. Disappointed...

Nice place to stay when traveling through Holbrook. Restaurants close by and helpful staff. Internet access provided. Breakfast provided; warm dishes included. The restaurant area was a little crowded....perhaps they could open another room.

The hotel is next to houses whom have dogs that bark which disturb sleep nor do the heaters in the rooms work consistently. Staff is neither knowledgeable nor expeditious in resolving issues. Additionally when booking room I was quoted one rate then after bringing to the attention the the Best Western Website rate was lower they matched and asked if we had AAA or AARP, in which we did however the rate did not decrease. When asked they said it was included but couldn't provide me a designated line item. I did not have the patience to argue as I was on vacation however needless to say I am less than happy.

Nice clean place. Quiet clean. Good breakfast selection. Easy check in and out. Close to freeway. Short drive to Petrified Forest either entrance. and Painted Desert. Best Western has always proven to have standards upon which you can depend.

As a Best Western Gold Member I am always amazed at the different levels of Best Western properties. The room was clean and comfortable. Easily found off the I-40. There is a Denny's in the center of the facility. The facility is pet friendly. The only issue I had was the parking! It is tough but adequate.

We were 5 friends and family moving from Ohio to Phoenix and had a long trip. We needed to drop down into Phoenix and knew the roads had 6% grades and didn't want to drive that in the dark with large rental moving trucks. We decided to stop early and called ahead & reserved 3 rooms. Past experience with Best Western was our main reason for choosing this hotel, plus we needed RV type parking space for the trucks and we had a dog. This place was the best place we stayed on the entire trip! Really nice rooms, good parking and a Denny's right out front. Nice breakfast and just a great place to stay in Holbrook.

Updated rooms, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast at the Denny's adjacent to parking lot. Pet friendly for a reasonable fee. Staff seemed on top of everything. Great value for the rate.

As we traveled from MN ro AZ we stayed at several different mid priced hotels. We found the room comparable to Hampton and Holiday Inn Express except for the outside entrance which worked well for us. Rooms have been updated nicely. They do not have an elevator so get a ground level room if hauling luggage is an issue. It was nice to have Dennys next door.

I would never stay at this location again and would not recommend it. The staff was not friendly and the rooms are small and old. the updating does not make up for the price or the smell of the room. It looked clean but did not smell clean.

The rooms are nice size, clean and very comfortable. We slept in so missed the breakfast but Dennys is right in the parking lot so ate there. No negatives worth mentioning. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Everything at this facility was great. We were greeted by a fantastic night clerk who directed us to our room. We found our room to be in excellent shape and the beds were very comfortable. The TV selection was great and in the morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast. The breakfast attendants were very pleasant and helpful. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would be so happy to recommend the facility to anyone.

You are located off I-40, so easy access. The hotel seems fairly new so clean and comfortable. You are kept away from the town center and the train, so quiet. Right next to Denny's so late night snacks within walking distance. Only complaints are the toilet is made for very short people and the faucet should reach out about 2 more inches because water gets everywhere as you wash your hands.

Needed an adjustment on our stay twice and they were very accommodating. We had an issue with our travel schedule and this saved us extra cost. The rooms were clean, service was good and the hotel overall was well kept.

Had a very friendly and good stay at the Best Western in Holbrook AZ. We also enjoyed the Denny's right there for dinner as well. The staff was helpful and informative as well. The hotel allowed pets and that was good as we have stayed there in the past and knew they allowed pets. Two 12Lbs little dogs.

My friend and I had two rooms here because they did not have a handicap access room with two beds. The rates are reasonable. The rooms and exterior of the hotel is immaculate -- excellent housekeeping. Friendly check-in and front desk helpful and welcoming. Holbrook is tiny and not much going on, but as a captive audience for visitors to the Grand Canyon most of the hotels and all of the restaurants are way overpriced, but this Arizonian is reasonable.

This hotel was very nice. Right next door to a Denny's, so was able to have dinner without having to drive. Room was very nice and spacious. I liked the sofa to just sit and relax. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean, but shower area and toilet were kind of small. The only disappointment was the breakfast. I was the first to arrive. The food (eggs and sausages) were cold. OJ dispenser was low and came out thick as paste. Room was cramped, tables and chairs practically touching each other. However; would recommend this hotel, except maybe the breakfast. Maybe it was just a bad day for them

Reward membership helps in decision making process, we stay because we have found BW hotels comfortable and affordable. The breakfasts are of good quality. The beds comfortable and the rooms well appointed

Have stayed at this Best Western several times in past 2 years and have always found staff helpful and courteous, room and facilities clean and comfortable and breakfast good. Plan to return in future trips.

We have had good luck with the chain, but this was a disappointment. The comfort level of the rooms was roughly what we would expect from a Motel 6 - and there is one of them next door. The free breakfast was pretty bad as well.

I have been traveling with my daughter-in-law and infant grandson. When I booked this hotel I requested a crib. When I got to the hotel they wanted to charge a $15.00 fee. None of the other brands of Hotels charge for a crib, but this is a motel maybe that has something to do with them being cheap/greedy? I usually stay at hotels, this is a very small town but if I am ever in this area again I will not stay here.

We have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times this year. The rooms are quiet and clean, the staff friendly, and the hot breakfast is good. And having Dennys next door for dinner is a plus. We would stay here anytime we're in the area

Quite nice facility. Large comfortable room. Got to love those king size beds. Folks working were quite nice and extremely helpful. The weather did get a wee bit chilly though. Would definitely stay here again.

We always stay at BW when we travel & booked this hotel in Holbrook. We booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised at how conveniently it was laid out. A couch & comfy chair, separated from the sleeping area by a short wall, desk & chair, refer & microwave, but best layout feature ... the bathroom area! The tub/shower & toilet in one room, immediately outside that was the sink with large counter area, totally separated from the sleeping area. The closet area was adjacent & had TWO luggage racks!! Having these areas separated from the sleeping area allows the first riser to shower & dress without disturbing the other person. Staff & management all very friendly & personable. Clean, comfortable bed, good parking & well lit at night. Would highly recommend. Nice breakfast area, lots of seating, constantly restocked. Only suggestion to mgt: scrambled eggs please, not the preformed egg patties.

This Best Western was convenient to our travel plans, modestly priced and served our purpose for a quick overnight stay. The staff were pleasant and welcoming, told us about the complimentary breakfast and provided us with tickets for the breakfast with the room key and internet access code. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a minor problem getting the tv to work but a call to the front desk was promptly answered and the problem quickly resolved.

Not great but ok. Next time I will stay at another hotel. Rooms were clean but office staff were on phone. Would have preferred laundry service and indoor pool after a 3 hour drive. Thankful for comfy beds.

Have just returned from the Painted Desert for a two day hike, Five miles each way both days. We expected our hotel to be clean with a comfortable bed but that was all. As it turned out the service was so much more than we expected. The room was also more than we expected. After taking a ten mile hike the room was the only thing I could think of to be going to rest before dinner. The breakfast was also as good as the room and the service. We would recommend this hotel as well as we would stay there again.

Great place to stay if you are traveling on I10 from or to California, The pace has excellent customer service, Clean, and friendly staff. If are hungry for dinner just about 1/4 mile down you can get a great Italian dinner I was surprised by how good the food was.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff at breakfast was wonderful. This was a great place to stay while we passed through Holbrook and we'd recommend it for a good nights rest while traveling.

Super friendly staff, comfortable room and great location! This was my last night on the road and I was happy to be able to have a comfortable place to spend the night. There is no place like home but this hotel was close!

I know this is long, so if you don't want to read, the message is they well rip you off. We pulled in late in the evening and was told the room would be $119. I told the clerk, I'll just go sit in the car and make the reservations, to which she replied no ma'me I'll give you the managers rate which she wrote $89.99 on a piece of paper so the other people in the room couldn't hear what she was saying. I then said does that include my AAA, she then said no that is the best rate we have as we are sold out. All the while this other couple is being told the room would be $200 a night. So that lady (who also had a broken foot and was in a leg brace) left and then pooped right back in and said on the computer it says the rate is $71.99. To which they were told only for an upstairs room, so that lady said I'll take it & I said I'll take that price as well. So simultaneously they booked us for the same room. But I heard the room number they gave her and told the clerk that is the room y'all just gave me. So then she said I'll just give you the downstairs room & instead of redoing the paperwork she just scratched thru the number printed and wrote the new number down. So I was told the rate was $71.99. I went to the room unpacked and thought I need to check something out and glad I did because the room rate on the receipt was $99. And to top it off we were told they were sold out when I first went in but there was a group checking in when I went in this time and they miraculously had 4 rooms to accommodate that group. We were also told the next day by another guest that they had made reservations for a cheaper price, but when the went to check in their reservation wasn't there so they were charged a higher rate than the reservation amount. With that said the room was comfortable and clean, average at best. So if you can get the $71.99 rate, it's a clean place to sleep, but I'd check my receipt.

Rooms are ok but old. We were ready to go to bed and pulled down the sheets on Both beds and there were numerous human hairs in both beds. Obviously the sheets were not changed from the previous occupant. I called the front desk and was told they would be here right away to take care of the problem. 30 minutes went by and nothing. I called the front desk again and was told that the person I spoke to forgot the room number. The clerk at the front desk told me that he was alone and would try to get me some clean sheets. Still waiting 40 minutes later.

This hotel is back a little from the freeway but easy on and off. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's a Denny's on the property if you need a meal and don't want to drive. The breakfast room is small but they make the best use of it.

This staff at this property is trying very hard to make guests feel at home. We stayed at 4 different chain hotels on our trip and because of the staff at the Best Western Amazonian we rated it the best experience even though we usually don't stay at Best Westerns.

My room key card would not work. The housekeeping staff entered my room, when the Do Not Disturb was posted. The ice machines did not work. There were no laundry facilities. The pool was dirty. The parking lot was over crowded.

Hotel provides clean rooms, friendly service with high speed WiFi. Located next to some of the better restaurants in town on the main thoroughfare. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Full service breakfast is included in the price. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night at the Best Western Arizonian Inn. The room was clean and spacious, it had high level windows which made it a bit dark and no door to the bedroom but it didn't bother us too much. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very busy so we opted to leave and get something en route. It was a good place to stopover on our journey and we slept very well in a comfortable bed.

Enjoyed vacation overnight stay in large, clean, comfortable room. There are outdoor doors to the rooms, but it was very quiet. The bedroom windows open with screens for fresh air. There was also a window in the bath area that could be opened. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, but was appreciated for its convenience. Will stay here again when in the area. Absolutely no complaints.

We stayed in Holbrook on our way to Las Vegas. Great stay and we enjoyed the breakfasts. We stayed only one night but would recommend this hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Excellent place to stop, decent breakfast, friendly staff, good location. I haven't had a bad trip to this hotel yet. It is a very tourist friendly so get to breakfast early as it becomes very full and crowded.
