« Comfortable elegance, great service and a Sauna! »

Stayed for two nights for a conference. I found the staff extremely helpful and forthcoming and the rooms very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel feels new and solid while the interior of the rooms are comfortable without sparing the luxuries, lots of hand finished glass and wood surfaces. Bed was a good size too! Would definitely stay there again.

« Great location, good service, occasionally expensive »

Nice location above the city. Room size sufficient, most rooms come with a desk and separate coffe table and chair. for an upcharge of 20 Euro rooms come with a nice view on the city. Very nice fitness and wellness area. Good food in the restaurant. NIce bar area with football with football screens covering all major football matches. Nice beergarden with afternoon sun. OVer all good service levels in all areas. PRices get crazy once they are fully booked. Good deals generally during the weeekends.

    « Great facility »

Very clean room, great location, fanastic breakfast, great room design. Hotel has all possible amenaties - extremely satisfactory stay. Looking forward to returning in the future. Great for business stays.

« Excellent restaurant and decent rooms »

Great location in quiet enclave of Aalborg brings additional value to this spot. Unfortunately, if you want to walk to the center of the town you need about 45 minutes. Large parking lot is a value. Handicapped people may have some problems reaching lower or upper part of the restaurant - staff recommends walking around the building using external path. We spent only one night here following wedding party. The dinner was exceptional - small dishes with focus on taste were prepared carefully. Service was fast and efficient as well. I do not like too much small rooms - dark and slightly neglected. Comparing to other Danish, rooms are still at par. Recommended hotel with charm.

« Nice Modern Hotel, lacking a little service polish »

Attended a German friends wedding, at the hotel.... Aside from the fact they messed up my booking and charged me extra, then provided me with a "double room" - 2 singe beds pushed together and having the audacity to tell me its "normal", when my travel partner had a proper double bed on her own.... Its a nice, modern hotel. Was fixed after some "consultation"..... Comfortable modern, clean and compact room with free wifi, fridge (not turned on), safety deposit box and a great comfortable bed (once changed to an appropriate room)... Large bathroom with expected amenities. Very nice. Fantastic breakfast. Extensive and very worthy. Car Parking costs 8 Euros per night. Not included. Overall, a solid hotel in a nice setting overlooking the city. Service needs to improve at Reception, however this may be a language difficulty. If I visited again, I'd stay provided the price was right.... Recommended with some reservation.

    « Conference »

A fabolouse hotel made for very large groups and still look small. Top standard on the top of the hill beside the old castle. Very attentive staff on all positions. I came walking up the hill thinking is nothing. It was tough with suitcases. When entering the lobby with beer in my mind, a staff approached to me saying: sit down and I will get you a beer before you checkin. "You look like you need one." Thats being attentive to the hotelguest.

« Gem close to Ulm »

Staff professionalism, amenities, and location, are top notch. It was extremely relaxing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Ulm. At the end of the day, we looked forward to returning to the hotel.

    « All a business traveler needs »

Just went there for a 1 night stay. Staff welcoming and supportive. Internet ok. Good Parking. Room´s convenient and clean. Venue - all easy to access. Flexibility / Willingness to adjust to personal needs / requests.

    « Best in Heidenheim »

A modern well equiped hotel, with great views over Heidenheim from the Restaurants. The rooms are all very similar and fitted out to a high standard, as you would expect fro a modern chain hotel. The Restaurant is relatively good, especially in Summer if you can sit outside and enjoy the view. Breakfast is very comprehensive and of a high quality. The biggest problem is getting a room. It is nearly always fully booked, which is not surprising, since Heidenheim really does not have much to offer in the way of good hotels. This also tends to make the hotel pretty expensive at peak times.

    « What a great surprise »

Stayed here as a family of five as a package with Legoland. Didn't expect too much, but our expectations were greatly exceeded. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was roomier and of a higher standard than we expected, and the wellness area, including fitness equipment was very modern and well presented. A good range for buffet breakfast was also included. We ate once in the on-site restaurant which was of good quality and value. Would absolutely stay again.

« Good base for visiting nearby cities, as long as you have a car »

We stayed at this Best Western for a couple of nights, back on the long weekend of 1st May. Originally booked through a great Expedia deal, which turned out too good to be true (i.e. a mistake by Expedia; though they partially compensated this by giving us a 50 usd discount coupon). Our idea was to go to Legoland Deutschland, and also to Rothenburg o.d.T., so Heidenheim was sort of mid-way. Additionally, we wanted to visit the Schloos located immediately next to the hotel (which we did on our last day, unfortunately under the rain). If you intend to stay in this hotel, you will definitely need a car (or join a tour where transportation is included), unless you are attending some congress and do not have plans to move around. I haven't seen any restaurants within walking distance, and most probably you will want to explore the nearby cities and attractions. The good: - The hotel is modern and well taken care of. Both the common areas and our room seemed to be very well maintained. - We had a couple of dinners at the hotel-s restaurant (Schlosswirtschaft) and it was good value for money. Ambience was nice, food was ok, and prices were decent. - Location: as mentioned before, a car is almost mandatory to stay here. The hotel is well located to do short-trips to Legoland Deutschland (in Günzburg, about 40 mins away by car) and Rothenburg ob der Tauber (about an hour away). And of course, you are just a short walk away from Schloos Hellenstein. - Although I didn't order room service, food prices were acceptable (see my report pictures). For example, the price for a schweineschnitzel was 12.9 eur. The not-so-good: - Staff at the reception could have been less transactional upon guests check in. They didn't even ask whether we needed wi-fi! Every time we would ask them for some information, we were made feel as if we were a nuisance. - We paid 24 eur for usage of the underground parking (2.5 days), which was slightly on the expensive side, considering the location. - Our room had 2 individual beds instead of the double bed we had requested. I called the reception to let them know about this, but they were not helpful. Negative point for the hotel, I hope the management takes note. In summary: we ended up paying just over 75 usd/night, breakfast included. Ok, we had used an Expedia coupon, but even without it, it would still be very convenient. Staff attitude is an area for improvement.

    « Great service! »

We actually celebrated our wedding in this hotel and as we had many guests from abroad we got plenty of feedback on the hotel. Overall our guests were more than happy with the hotel. Beautiful rooms, great breakfast and very friendly staff. As for us we couldn't dream of a better place to celebrate our wedding and would do it all over again!

« Boarding on hilltop next to the Castle »

A good hotel , for family stay or business conferences. One can walk and admire the Castle nextdoor, which is only a 5 minute walk away. Can also walk down , through the castle , to reach the small market and restaurants. The hotel itself offers good food and one can sit outside too, weather permitting. Rooms are neat and comfortable. For Conference rooms one can choose from small to large
