Sure Hotel by Best Western Haugesund, Haugesund

The rooms are ok, good space and fresh. If a nice breakfast is important, this is not the hotel for you. Very little to choose from, and not very tasty. The Wi-fi is really bad as well, extremely uneven.

Newly renovated, large rooms, all necessary facilities, nice bathrooms, very good location, lovely staff, competitive prices. Breakfast ok, but a bit limited choices, but to be expected at a semi self-service hotel. Simply a great choice for any type of stay.

Arrived in the late evening, without luggage due to SAS strike (which is fine, please c'mon provide all the ground personel a living wage..) Front desk mister Daniel didnt hesitate to run back and forth to his own house and provide me with a serving of much needed contact lense water to use untill the luggage will arrive. Awsome service! Travelled for business and expect the project follow ups to also book at the Sure Hotel.

Very cosy accommodation and very helpfull and friendly staff, really nothing is too much. I would recomment this to my friends. Nice breakfast and vieuw. Right near to the harbour and city center. Good and quit location.

The room looked nice in the website's picture, but I have been around the block enough times to know anyone can tweak a pix. Nevertheless, the deal they gave me online was much better than anyone else in the area, so I figured we could put up with anything for a single night. But I was wrong. About the putting up with. There was nothing to put up with. Right from the get go, Ragu at the front desk, friendly, warm, explaining things well. Not one of the front desk guys who is angry with you because you walked in and interrupted his playing on his game boy. The room was every bit as spacious and clean as the pix had portrayed. I walked in and they had the air conditioning on, room cool. That was an added touch. Breakfast in a bag was interesting, nothing I would write home about, but the coffee was plenty good. I didn't jump in the pool, but it did look inviting. Overall, a pleasant stay, easy to get to from the highway, reasonable price, clean room and facilities, microwave & mini-frig, friendly staff. This will be my go-to place for Chula Vista.

If my grandma would have had a smart-office it wouldn't have ergonomic seats made from poly-euro-ether-chineseum, it would have armchairs. Neither would it have a 5 meter zen water feature in reception, but a nice old man with a warm smile. Welcome to the Neptun Hotel, my only 5 star rating in Haugesund. This is not because its the best hotel, but because its the best at what it says it does and that's important when choosing a hotel. The rooms are big enough to feel spacious, have two comfy chairs, a good work desk, a study office chair for the desk and coffee table. The hotel is central, cozy, good WiFi and has a simple gym. I'm not sure how relevant the AM wall mounted radio is but it adds to the hotels old world charm. The hotel was undergoing some renovations during my stay but any disturbance was kept at a minimum. Feedback for travelers would be that there is no gym changing area and the hot items at breakfast are pretty limited however still true to what is advertised. In conclusion, the hotel is both an effective work-space and still comfortable. You can work or relax in the heart of Haugesund and know that this affordable hotel is a good choice if you need it. In this society of false advertising the Neptune delivers on what it promises and the little things (i.e. chargers that reach the bed) are delivered as you would expect. Grandma would be happy.

Hotel located in really good place. Basically in the main street of Haugesund, very close to marina. Room was clean and cozy. Got tray with kettle and collection of different taste of tea. There is WiFi in the room too. Breakfast included in price. Good place to stay. Welcoming staff.

Vintage feel to this hotel with some modern touches. They upgraded our room for no charge & even brought our luggage up to our room while we were out. Hermann at reception was very helpful finding bus routes for us. The breakfast was decent & our room was well equipped (kettle, Good TV, complimentary coffee). The gym in the basement looks like it hasn't been used since the 80's. If you're there in early August check out the dates for their annual jazz festival.

We stay at this hotel end of august for 4 days. Good locations - near buss station, city center 5min walking. Near lot of restaurants and places to eat. 3min walk Rema 1000 and Kiwi grocery stores. Hotel located at quite area. Breakfast is very good for 3 star hotel, but if you stay for 1-2 days. For a week breakfast is with same offer without any changes. Not in offer oatmeal, just serials. From fruits is apples and clementines. Staff is helpful and very pleasant.

Good central location. Free parking directly outside hotel. Excellent breakfast choices. Friendly & v helpful staff, especially the manager / owner (?) who told us lots about the area & its history. Had the feel of a family run place rather than a chain. Basic no frills room but got used to this in Norway.
