"Peaceful stay"
It was great stay, check in was super easy. Jason is super friendly and helpful. Room and shower were clean. They have great and new equipment in fitness center. Best thing is they can provide vegan breakfast if you request. Overall good experience.
"Worst stay ever! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!"
The room was disgusting. Dirty floors, both human and dog hair all over the comforter and sheets, and several blood stains on both the comforter and a pillow. The next morning all guests in the room were congested and felt sick. There is definitely a mold issue. I would not recommend this hotel at all ever!
"The Best of STEELTON"
Wonderful weekend stay the best in STEELTON, it was just like being at home. The only thing missing was the fireplace and warm hot chocolate. The best staff around very helpful and friendly as well as respectful.

Good stay. We only stayed one night. They let us have a late check out. We got in too late the night before. The room were nice and well equipped. Staff was friendly and the breakfast had plenty of choose. Great location!!!
"Best Place to stay in Hershey"
We stayed here because it is about 30 minutes from Hershey Park. Our room was clean, spacious and had a great air conditioning. All employees were so kind to my family and myself. We would definitely stay again! Also, if you're a coffee drinker, keep in mind they have 24 hour HOT coffee!

Great place. Awesome staff and breakfast. Will come again . Good location and places to eat around. Clean and comfortable rooms with all amenities you'd ask for. Very close to harrisburg and hershey park.
"Family trip"
I loved this hotel. Very close to Hershey. From the services to cleanliness, everything was perfect. Me and kids love breakfast too. Room was nice and clean. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful.
"Dated and old"
We spent one night in the hotel. The furniture was dusty. The bed and toilet were clean. A little bit of a dive, but generally comfortable. We would have chosen a hotel with a less dated appearance, but we didn't.
"Attending a family wedding nearby in Elizabethtown"
Nice BW but worn ; I liked it but my wife did not. I would stay here but my wife would not. Good value for the money Lots of nice people Safe Good parking And a $100 less than Marriott courtyard right up the road.
"Clean hotel"
A "medium level" hotel that is in need of upgrading. I found the location to be very good - access to major highways and the airport. I don't think there was a van service to the airport, but I didn't need that service. Hotel was clean and the staff generally friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bath was clean with lots of grab bars in the tub/shower. Improvements needed.
"Wished for better room service."
The stay was decent. I enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our stay. What was unsatisfactory was the room service that never came to our room in the three nights we stayed at Best Western Plus. Other than that average stay.
"Total DUMP"
If I could give this hotel a rating of zero, I would. The staff were less than friendly and oddly, dressed in street clothes so there's no differentiating employees from guests; and the room was absolutely disgusting. The room door had scratches all over it from a guest with a dog, the lock didn't feel secure, the bathtub was cracked with a shower-head that appeared held in with bubble-gum, the mini fridge was dirty and didn't close properly, the curtains had tears in them, the box spring was frayed, and I'm pretty sure the sheets were dirty. Had there been another hotel with availability, we would not have stayed. Save your money and book elsewhere.
"Do not stay here!!!!!!"
Hotel is the worst I have ever ever stayed at. Black hair all through the bathroom and bed, holes in the walls, shower head is falling off the wall, carpets are sticky and filthy. I could go on and on but you get the idea!!!
"Less than desirable hotel"
The hotel itself is older, dingy, lacking necessary upkeep, they seem to do just enough to get by. Bathroom seemed to be held together with caulking, shower knob falling off, low water pressure, their were kids running all over the hotel with no concern for anyone else, no one controled them including staff saying anything. Ice machine was dirty, elevators old outdated along with most everything else. Most Best Westerns ive stayed at have been really nice. Avoid this one if possible.
"Absolutely disgusting!"
For the money spend a few extra dollars and go elsewhere. The room was dirty and the bed had bugs. The breakfast was not good and the area it's located in is not desirable. If you have children with you the area is not safe.
"You Get What You Pay For!"
It is very obvious at this facility there is no pride in ownership or customers satisfaction. The free breakfast was not good. VERY dirty, trash overflowing, tables not cleaned, food and coffee ran out. Unfortunately while paying hotel guests stood around and waited for items to be replenished, two hotel employees sat in the corner, eating their breakfast and watched, making no effort to help. The front desk clerk was on his phone the entire time and other than refilling spoons, did not clean anything. I observed the male housekeeping employees taking MULTIPLE smoke breaks around the property. The hardest working employees were the female house keepers. It frustrated me to see them seating at their jobs while other employees moved at a snails pace and enjoyed breaks. Our room shower would not drain. The tub had scum on the bottom that was very slippery and the shower curtain was moldy from sitting in the tub that did not drain. The room smelled like stale smoke. I also noted that the front desk clerk, shift manager and manager all had the same last name. The website shows a swimming pool, but there is not one. It also shows a hot tub, but it was drained and closed. The exercise room did not have one complete set of weights and there was a dirt towel laying on the weight bench for our entire 3 day visit. We chose this hotel because it was a fair price, seemed to have a pool and included breakfast, but it was not worth it. Spend more to get what you pay for.
"Rooms not cleaned"
We had a reservation and checked in at 11pm after a long day and the first 2 rooms we checked into hadn't been cleaned after the previous party checked out. The overnight staff was embarrassed and apologetic but the manager the next day was less than helpful and didn't even apologize. It was not only extremely inconvenient especially with young kids but disgusting.
"Never again"
Did not have the room type we reserved available. Hotel was dirty. Bed sheets had someone's hair on them. Room had a foul odor. Front desk staff member was incompetent and rude. He charged us for a second night because we would not stay in those conditions. We checked out and went to a Marriott down the road. We were part of a group baseball trip. Multiple other families checked out too.
"Steer clear of this hotel!"
Any hotels many times in this worst possible hotel we have ever been at! From the moment you checked in to the moment you left the staff could have cared less. They have a sign on the front door stating how important loneliness is during Covid that they meet or exceed the requirements of cleanliness. Our room had dust bunnies on the lamps we move the refrigerator because something fell behind it only to find absolute filth. I hardly think that those examples read or see cleanliness standards during Covid or any other time. There was no room service for the state even though it was requested. Their website advertises a swimming pool,which whenare you traveling with children (13 and 11)is a nice feature however there was no swimming pool. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.
"Don't bother to stay here"
Upon arriving to the hotel, the lobby seemed adequate. Young woman working the front desk was nice and helpful. The hotel it self is in need of a proper cleaning and some staff need to be trained in customer service. We stayed for 3 nights /4 days. I asked for housekeeping and fresh towels and was told no. I was advised that they don't do that unless you stay 3-4 days. I advised I had and the young man who was busy playing games on his phone said he'd try to get housekeeping and if I wanted towels I had to come down and ask. Housekeeping never came. Went down and asked for towels and the same young man seemed annoyed to be interrupted from playing on his phone and gave us two towel. The sheets are thin, the towels are thread bare, the carpets are dingy, the halls are dimly lite. Only plus was the woman who Maintained the breakfast buffet kept it stocked and clean. She wasn't there Sunday and it was a mess and not refreshed. They tables were dirty and garbage was overflowing.
"Awesome Stay"
I walked into this very well cleaned BW and was greeted by a delightful front desk agent named, Jon. He had all the answers to all of my questions at the drop of a hat! He made my stay very pleasant by also letting me know where I could park my U-Haul to keep an eye on it over night from my room. Very nice clean and cold rooms. 10/10 would come again. If you have extreme allergies and worry about staying at some places due to an allergy flair up, this hotel is for you. It is very clean, new enough and does not seem to have a mold problem. The AC system smells clean!!
"Worst hotel in the area"
Manager John is rude. Staff tells you to get your own towels. Elite membership means nothing. The place is terrible. Food was awful. Everything was in disrepair. Food was undercooked or overcooked. No toilet paper or tissues.
"HORRIBLE ! Don't stay here"
We had an extremely bad experience at the hotel, the front desk personnel gave us the wrong room, we had reserved a suite and gave us a regular room… one of us spent the night in a chair , the front desk ladies were extremely rude and nasty. Never going to this hotel again.

"Not Our Division, Lestrade"
I've traveled often for business and family and stayed at many hotels over the years. This was the worst hotel experience ever. There were bloodstains on the ceiling, wall, and the floor. There was also a syringe in the closet. I had seen the stains on the ceiling and wall, but thought maybe they were old coffee stains. However, the next morning, I saw blood on the floor and found a syringe in the closet. The fan had long blonde hair like confetti in it and the room reeked of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The water barely came out of the shower head. The breakfast was molded, the TV lagged, and the tiny fitness center was gross and missing equipment. Even the hot tub was closed. The employees were unprofessional and untrained. I reported the syringe at checkout and was promised a discount...still waiting for it.
"Always Reliable"
If you need to be near the airport this is the place to stay. A drive of less than 10 minutes got me there for a 5:30am flight. The hotel offered basic amenities, was clean, and the staff was peasant.
"as great as expected"
along with professional and helpful staff, this location offered a clean comfortable room, and excellent hot breakfast choices. dining area was clean and well kept with plenty of room for guests too enjoy their food.
"headed down hill."
Been staying at this hotel for over 10 years. been going down hill since then. I'll find a new place since they raised the prices. Not worth $100 a night. broken floor tiles, Jacuzzi is never working. I travel there twice a year. I'll find a new place to go to. Was better when it was the crowne plaza.

"improvements needed"
I shud have mentioned that the WiFi room and Fitness center were clean and neat. The desk area was also tidy, ad I was glad to have spoken with the manager (?) as well. Strongly believe that the workers to much more training and supervision.
"Nice Place"
I stayed for work. It is a nice quiet place and the wifi worked well. It was nice to have real food for breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again should I be in the area.
"Family weekend"
I went out with my family for the week and it was very relaxing and refreshing. My family and I had a great time stay the night there, the beds are amazing to sleep on. My kids also enjoyed the breakfast there. Would recommend!
"Clean place for staying"
Got the king bed suite and I have to say it was really nice! The place was super clean and had a great modern theme to it that wasn't too overdone. The staff was friendly and the room was beautiful, I loved the archway and raised ceilings, wasn't expecting that.

Quiet place, lot of options to eat around and friendly staff. Located conviniennt off turnpike exit and offers excellent brekfast choices thats included in room price.Will definatley go back when visiting hershey.

Friendly place with great breakfast options. Brought our 2 year old dog along. The staff was very welcoming and treated our pup like their own. The facilities were clean. Fitness room was a bonus. Overall highly recommend!
"Dissatisfied"
Rooms were okay. Service was okay. Breakfast experience was awful! There was a lack of food, watered down beverages including coffee and juice, poor service and unsanitary conditions pertaining to food.
"Will never stay here again"
Dirty mold everywhere in the bathroom, toilet didn't work, light switches didn't work. Breakfast tasted like it was in the freezer and burnt. Not sure what they called bacon they served cause it was not bacon.
"They steal"
Personal item was stolen from room and no one made an effort to return it or make the situation better. Management was quick to blame me and did not ask staff or comp me form the trouble. Will not ever stay there or the chain again. Thiefs!!!
"Needs updated"
We've stayed here many times in the last several years and it continues to go downhill. Rooms are dark and dingy with old fixtures and furniture. Our bathroom ahower/tub would not drain and the bathroom door would not stay closed or lock. The entrance door did not have the rubber strip on the bottom thus light, noise and cold air entered the room. The hallway was freezing cold. We did get moved to another room since the tub wouldn't drain. We loved the location of this hotel, but will be looking elsewhere near rime
"Gross & that is not coffee"
Gross - cleaning needs work. Body hair on bathroom counter. Streaks on desk top. Hole in wall by bathtub & floor - small dry wall pieces on entry & bathroom floor. Eggs were cooked to brown. Refrigerator locked, so no access to refrigerated items. Coffee was either run through re-used grounds or almost no grounds used to brew coffee. It tasted like water with a hint of weak coffee flavoring. I.would not call that coffee. I needed to print a couple documents for work - the business center cimputer.would not connect to the internet. I would probably find somewhere else or sleep in your vehicle.
"BW PLUS IS BW MINUS"
I never stayed in such a shabby dirty run-down BW. BW has been our first choice hotel for 15 years. We could always count on a high quality stay at a reasonable price. We were in town for a family emergency and thought we would have a comfortable place to recoup from the stress First room: dirty floors, one towel, no soap, two cups, opened coffee packet, one trash can with trash, fill line to toilet gushed on floor when flushed, found a Vicodin on the bed, water damage on ceiling Second room: dingy but better than the first one but the water in the shower ran a steady stream all the time. Plumbing for entire facility needs overhauled, draperies, linens, towels, carpets, tiles all need replaced. Breakfast was hit or miss with food quality and quantity, dining area worn and dirty, fridge needs disinfected, microwave needs replaced, only artificial cream for coffee (diabetics can't use) but saw an employee get half & half for himself out of the supply cupboard. What staff there is works hard with what they have. COVID is not an excuse for this. The BW in Gettysburg and the BW near 3Rivers did not have these issues.
"Hotel needs help"
It took three trip to the front desk to get a working key but the employee was helpful. Bathtub faucet dripped all night and there was no hot water in the morning. Lots of areas that are worn and shabby. The staff person working the breakfast bar looked like they were working really hard to keep things stocked.
"Excellent experience!"
This was my first time staying at Best Western in Harrisburg. The hotel and our room was very clean, and quiet. Since we were traveling with our dog,we requested a room near exit door and on main level. The staff was very attentive, friendly and responsive towards our requests. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Loved staying here staff is always friendly and helpful... Rooms have always been clean and tidy beyond my expectations I will def reserve nights here again... I feel like family when I stay at this motel
"Good Value for the Price"
Pretty solid BW Plus. Room was clean and comfortable. A few small details that could've used a little touching up. By this I mean a little paint that was scraped, but other than that, no problems. The refrigerator was a little noisy, but not enough to bother my wife or I while sleeping.

The rooms were very clean and breakfast included for a very good price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was even a little gym available. My little boy slept very well and everything was very clean.

A very high standard of quality and fantastic customer service!! I had nothing but a great experience at this hotel!! i and my colleagues will utilize this particular hotel for business class lodging going forward. This hotel was right of the turnpike exit which is convenient for interstate travel to and from.
"Disgusting"
I was just going to say disgusting, but the site requires 200 characters. So….this hotel is seriously unclean; smells stale and dirty. Cleaning staff needs to learn how to actually clean. Dirt and dust in corners. I wondered if the sheets had been laundered. Is the shower curtain intentionally wrinkled or did it sit in the washer too long? Beds poorly made. Elevators are appalling filthy. Dirt and dust accumulated in door tracks
"Bathroom door falling off hinges, toilet not bolted to floor, staff would not put cot in room for us."
I always request a cot for the room. never a problem in the past or at other hotels. When I asked for a cot the front desk person said the room was too small and were not allowed to have one. I had to go to the housekeeping room & get it myself.
"Horrible Experience"
My old college roommate and I stayed here for the Penn State-Auburn football game. The hotel was incredibly run down and poorly kept. The shower did not drain and smelled horribly of rotten eggs. We went down and spoke to the front desk attendant whose only course of action was to plunge the shower with a toilet plunger. The attendant came up to our room with the plunger wrapped in a garbage bag leaving me to assume it had previously been used on toilets and proceeded to plunge our shower just to get water to slowly drain. While this at least allowed us to "use" the shower, it certainly never removed the foul odor coming from the piping. The shower curtain and window curtains were tattered to pieces. The mattresses were decent, but everything else was well below even the most modest of expectations. The proximity to the airport is great, but in no way does it make up for the quality of the stay. Our stay was a truly miserable experience. My old roommate and I both agreed that if we had made the same trip with either of our wives we would have never allowed them to stay in a place that dirty.

"Terrible experience"
This hotel was extremely dark, dirty, damp and run down. We cut our trip short due to this hotel. We stayed here during the Hershey RV show due to availability. It made the entire experience poor. I couldn't sleep due to the damp feeling sheets and inadequate covers. Overall a very poor experience.
"Average hotel, decent stay for the price."
For the price this was a good stay. The bedding in our room was very clean and the room itself was spacious. The breakfast was very very basic, if you're looking for a great continental breakfast this is not the place for you. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
"Not clean"
Don't stay here. It does not excuse cleanliness. Wrappers on the floors, leaking ceiling over breakfast. Dusty rooms, wrinkled and old linens that did not seem clean. The hotel was in overpriced and the staff was annoyed.
"Honest review"
The hotel itself looks updated on the outside, lobby area and rooms seem to have been updated I would say within the last year or 2. Everything was pretty neat and clean including our room, bathroom, fridge and microwave (yes I check). I thought the bed was very comfortable not sure if they were new. Now that was the pro parts. On to the cons....so given the work shortage we are going through right now you have one person doing the work of 5 people so upon check in which was around 9-9:30 pm there was only one person working everything. So needless to say we had to wait about a good 10 minutes for the attendant to come back from whatever he was doing to check us in. It wasn't a problem, it went quick and the poor guy looked exhausted. We were with a large group so even if things went bad it was still going to be good. We ordered some pizzas from Dominos and utilized their breakfast area and they never said a word, so that was a plus since we had 14 teenage boys in our group. But the breakfast the next morning was kind of the worst, only pancakes and waffles which you make yourself and they were like hockey pucks. Not sure if that had anything to do with the fact that there was no cooking spray. Then they only had potatoes. No eggs or sausage or anything. There were no english muffins, toast or donuts. The only muffins and bagels they had were all prepackaged. They ran out of plates and forks and again since there was only one person doing the job of 5 employees we found them in the counter and put more out for them. The only plus was the orange juice from the machine was pretty good. It's just an average place, wasn't the worst, wasn't the best. Good for an overnight stay if you need to stay in the area.

"Unhelpful and inaccurate"
The Online service booked my room and when we got to the hotel that evening, they had $90.00 more on my room cost. The staff had no clarification for me and they knew it was to late for me to try to do anything about it. The breakfast sausage was cold and the milk was warm. I would not recommend to any one.

"The worst- it's not Best Western Plus. Not even a motel quality"
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. If I can give it a zero rating, I will. When we checked in, no one was at the counter. After a while, an unprofessional and unfriendly staff showed up and couldn't find our reservation number. He even asked us to call Booking.com by ourselves simply because he was lazy enough to find our numbers. Unbelievable! After we checked in, we didn't get the connected rooms as we requested, not surprised! The worst was typos Hotel didn't follow any of the Covid protocols as they claimed. One of the two rooms we got was unclean- used towels on the floor and messy beddings......etc. I requested to change to another room, and it was THE SAME! I questioned the front desk since it's Covid time, everyone should be more cautious about this. He replied reckless and rudely, " I am not the cleaner and I didn't know which room is clean from my side". Well, if you can't do the basic things like this, you should not even have this job! Not to mention the dirty and damped bed sheets, not working television and telephone, and broken mattress. The only good thing is it's quiet when we stayed there...oh, it should be- cause no one wanna stay there!!

"Good enough"
There was some confusion about what time the complementary breakfast ended. We were told 10:00am at check in, but it turned out to be 9:00am. That was pretty disappointing. But, other than that, it was OK.

"DO NOT STAY; BUG IN BED, OLD MATTRESSES, and DIRTY SHEETS"
We arrived at the hotel for a stay booked June 21-23 to a lobby that lacked air conditioning, and was very dilapidated. Upon checking in after an almost 10 minute wait, we went to our room where we found the mattress to be so old and disgusting that you sat on it and sunk to the box spring. Furthermore, there were 5-6 long dark hairs in the bed on the sheets and what appeared to be a booger. The sheets are at least 5-6 years old, and are not crisp or fresh whatsoever. We had to change rooms because of the lack of cleanliness and when we got to our second room, there was bottle of cleaning product left behind and TONS of hair, fuzz, and dust under the pillows and the mattress was again extremely old, as well as the sheets. We switched to our 3rd room and were taken there by the front desk worker. Everything appeared okay and we left for dinner. I had such little trust in the cleanliness that I stopped to buy pillow covers for the room to cover the sheets and bought a can of lysol to spray the sheets. Around 11 pm, I decided to go to sleep, but before I did I checked under the fitted sheet where I found a LIVING and MOVING bug. I immediately demanded a refund, which I thankfully received and we left immediately. Please do not book a room here. I have never found it necessary to leave a review but I needed to. I later found a review on google from the night we were gonna sleep there with a man who woke up with bites all over his body, and after seeing the bug in my sheets...I believe him fully. The ONLY positive was Yul at the front desk he is amazing, but customer service only goes so far when management, cleaning staff, and room updates lack entirely.

"Damp and musty"
It was gumid weather for sure, but the whole room seemed damp. I blasted the AC and told myself that would take care of it. The mattress was completely broken down but to be honest, I like a soft bed and after having hard mattresses tbe past few nights traveling it felt good. Then came 5am waking in a drastic asthma attack.. ran out of the room as quickly as I could. Too late for another roo. To early to get moving. It was a terrible night. Never again.

Was drawn to motel mainly because of the rate, but was pleasantly surprised with the facility and staff. Quick check-in process, room clean and honestly better than expected as was the exterior and overall location. Would definitely stay again.

"Decent hotel"
Clean room, comfortable bed, spacious accommodations. Hot tub was closed due to "Covid-19", laughable considering chlorine kills the virus. Limit the number of people at a time and open it up. No reason for this to be the case. Seems like hotels just don't want to deal with it but have no problem still charging a premium rate and advertising these amenities such as hot tub, workout room, free hot breakfast etc. and then having none of this available when you arrive. Its annoying. But the rest of the hotel was clean and accommodating. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable, no loud noises and the hotel was in a very nice location close to a couple restaurants where a decent breakfast could be served. Here's an idea, if you can't offer your guests breakfast, give them vouchers to a local restaurant, it would boost business for them while still making guests feel they are getting what they pay for.
"Spa is not operational.. looks like a ghost town in the spa room"
Would have stayed somewhere else if I knew the hot tub didn't work. There is no mention of it being permanently shut down on the website. Breakfast was poor cheap to go choices which I get with covid, but I've had better at 3 other hotels this month alone.

"Bed Bugs"
Stayed 5/29-30. BED BUGS! Family woke with linear bites consistent with bed bugs. Room did not have hairdryer. Asked at desk for hairdryer and was told to look again. Had to wait until shift change to ask someone else. The juice dispenser was not working. The coffee was good. Stay somewhere else. The manager responded to my review by saying there was juice dispenser that I may have missed. No comment on the bed bugs

"The "Plus" in name did not live up to standard"
The room should be cleaned more frequently although it may sit vacant for some time. I had to wipe everything down including the heating system just to use it.. Better sheets and a blush blanket/spread is needed for optimal comfort and warmth. The refrigerator is very small. I waited a long time on line at the front desk to checkout, then the clerk did not properly address my concern to checkout early. He took the keys from me, threw them down on the counter and said he couldn't check me out until tomorrow. There was no explanation until I asked him to explain why he said that. There was no pleasant tone. No wonder we left early.

"Don't Stay Here!"
Stayed at this hotel twice in the last month. First time things weren't but so bad. Door handle into the room fell off every time I touched it, so opening the door was a two handed affair - hold the handle in place and pull the door open by the lock. TV remote wouldn't bring up channel guide, so they brought me a different remote that worked. Microwave was unbalanced, but did heat things. Second time was there for 5 nights. When we checked in, the clerk had on a face mask, but it was under his chin. Said he saw where we had asked for an extra pillow, did we really need it. Really? Once again remote wouldn't work, so called front desk and told them the problem. Kept telling me what channel the guide was on, but was wrong every time. I asked for a remote like I got last time I stayed. Was told they didn't have any others, to just look things up on my phone! After my comment of "Dude! Seriously? I know you have others!" Was told if I wanted one to come get it, he wasn't bringing it to me. Found out the hard way that the mini fridge had a broken controller and froze everything we put in it. Coffee in lobby every morning had grounds in it. Every time we passed the front desk, we were never greeted. Night clerk always had his mask below his chin and morning clerk always had a hoody pulled up over his head and part of his face, so couldn't tell if he every had one one. The one time I could see his face, no mask at all. Finally checked to see when I could talk to the manager. Morning I found her, she was scrubbing the front lobby and her mask was only covering her mouth. I asked about their mask policy and she informed me she never put her mask over her nose? I pointed out the problems I was having with things and her response was they were very short staffed. She was surprised that I was getting the answers from staff that I was, said they are always friendly and helpful. I didn't experience that. I asked for another box of tissues, as we had used all of ours and was told they didn't have any. When I asked if she was sure, she said I'll check, but they aren't ordering them anymore. She did find one and gave it to me. I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns and this is the worst I've ever encountered! Don't stay here!

"Only come here as a last resort!"
My husband and I came here for New Year's Eve since we didn't have our kids We ended up leaving a hour after we checked in. It smelled of smoke, there were foot prints all over our bathroom floor, a huge stain on the chair and outlets that didn't work. It seems the only thing that is up to date in the hotel is the lobby. I'm pretty sure it's so you're distracted from the horror of where you will have to sleep. It was upsetting that we weren't offered a refund and the front desk attendant only asked if we wanted to change rooms after we said we were going. All in all it was my mistake for mixing up best western plus with best western premier and that is a mistake I won't dare to make again.

"Amazing service and hospitality"
My friend and I were tired driving back from work after a long work week so we stopped found a best western more then halfway back home where we used our $25 dollar gift card for cheaper rate. Upon our arrival the guy at front desk greeted us very well especially being elite members Upon check out Quinn was on her A game with communication to helping us out with our bank to release our funds quicker she was very punctual which is key with customer service

"Disappointed"
After calling and adding comment to booking it was upsetting to get to the hotel after a 5 1/2 hour drive to find that our room was given to someone else. Luckily the staff fixed the issue the next day however when you take extra steps you dont expect them to mess it up. This is definitely a budget hotel. Dirty inside and out. Would not stay here again.

"Charged $50 for a cable experience = no"
Stayed for 2 days and had no cable to watch on the tv due to the cable in the wall not being connected to the wall plate that the wire from the tv connected to. I advised the hotel staff and nothing was done to reimburse me for my inconvenience instead I was charged $50 after leaving the hotel for them to fix the problem.

"Find a better place to stay"
Would not recommend staying here. We decided to stay here based off of the price and pictures online, thinking it would be a nice clean place. When we got to our room the sofa bed was broken and would not pull out all of the way. My wife went to the front desk to let them know and the guy at the desk started accusing my wife of potentially breaking it. We had just checked in and alerted them as soon as we got in the room. Frustrating. He moved us to another room. The rooms just weren't really clean feeling.

"Cheap and okay for price, but dont expect too much"
Although the hotel appearance is nice and the staff is friendly, the inner workings are not acceptable. 4 days in a row our room was not cleaned. Evern after complaining the first night I got into the room of ketchup stains all over the floor, I also had ants crawling on me first 3 nights. Not a lot but 1 or 2 per evening. Day 5 they moved me rooms so as to make sure my room would be cleaned. Morning 6 I had no hot water, figuring it was just the hotel, I said nothing. Morning 7 no hot water again so I complained. They could not fix so swtiched me rooms again for the 3 rd time now. At least the new room had no ketchup on floor, no ants crawling on me in bed, and I had hot water. Hot tub was never more than luke warm even though we would ask for it to be heated. The printer in business center was out of ink for the whole 12 days I was there. Although they would print anything needed at the front desk. This could be a very nice place to stay but I do not feel this ship is running properly.

Staff was well aware of my room phone not working, and they never fixed. Also I requested new bedding but that was not done. AND yes I put the little card on my bed to have the bedding changed. Horrible stay.

"Bring your own bed"
I reserved a king suite with pull out bed everything was great until it was time for bed pulled back the covers the sheets had stains on them I thought no problem I brought my own anyway then I pulled out the pullout bed it had bloody sheets took sheets off the mattress had worse blood stains so disgusting someone has to do something about this but breakfast was great sorry I didnt take pictures room 419 was the room I stayed in

"Not up to Best Western Quality"
From the moment we arrived at this property we were disappointed and surprised that this was a Best Western. No one was at the desk when we arrived mid afternoon and after a 5 minute wait for someone to show up, no apology was offered. The halls of the building were freezing, not heated at all. There was a general sense of no pride in the building, utility doors left open, with cleaning tools falling out, shower curtain so soiled that it should have been replaced - just not at all up to Best Western standards that we expect.

"Ski trip"
I am a best western rewards member so we stayed here to go skiing at RoundTop. My family had 5 rooms. Our bathroom was dirty. My son's toilet was clogged. My other son had to switch rooms because his heat didn't work. We tried breakfast but there were no plates. The bagels were stale, the coffee was cold and there was no milk for cereal.

"Hotel is very old"
The outside of the hotel looks new along with the lobby but the rooms are falling apart. Bathroom door would not close...TV did not work (went to the HDMI setting when you turn it on) curtains would not close and the bathtub has seen better days. Plus the breakfast was the worst we have ever had. Staff had verbal arguments with other guests all this from just a one night stay. We have stayed at other BW and this stay and location was the worst. It should not have the BW Plus seal.

"Disappointing Stay- 1st floor room, near Spa/Hot Tub"
We have stayed in Best Western Hotels consistently for the past 3 years, but this recent stay in December 2019 was a big disappointment. We were given a first floor room, about two-three doors down from the front desk and the hotel's spa/hot tub. We had arrived in the late afternoon, went out to dinner, arrived back by about 8, went to our room, tried to sleep, but kept smelling a strong smell of chlorine coming around the cracks of our door. We didn't sleep much during the night. Finally went front desk at about 3:20 am to see if there was anything that could be done with the smell. Discovered that the spa room door was open and the air jets in the spa were going at high speed since we came in at 8, but no one in the spa. In the morning we didn't stay for breakfast that we typically do each visit, but the smell was still bad out in the main lobby. We shared our concerns with the desk clerk, but he was unable to provide us any refund or compensation for our poor stay because we used our points for a free room. He stated he would pass on the information to his manager. Don't stay on the first floor of this hotel and go upstairs and the opposite end of the main desk.

quick road trip stop, but good access, great pricing, and very clean and presentable. We did not utilize the breakfast except for a great coffee fill. Friendly staff. Plenty of hot water although I would have preferred better water pressue in the shower head.

"Wonderful hotel"
We were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was very good. We had to leave very early in the morning and wouldn't have had time for breakfast, but when we went down, about 20 minutes early, the food was out and ready and we were welcomed to help ourselves, as were several other guests. I'd definitely return to this hotel.

"LEAKING ROOF NEVER REPAIRED"
Room 209 Leaking roof. Stayed in that room in april 2019 same thing. Entry light broken. bathroom door hinge screws coming out and door would not close. remote up down channel not working all other functions ok, not batteries needs remote replaced. second toilet paper roll had ants in it. Neighbors had a great sex life

"Would never go back or recommend this hotel"
The check in process was pretty smooth and the staff friendly. We decided to use the Hot Tub that evening only to find the overwhelming smell of chlorine (to the point of making me cough and burning my eyes) to much to handle so we waited til the next day to try it. That next day the smell was better but the tub was cold and there weren't enough towels stocked. We complained to the woman at the front desk who told us she doesn't know how to turn it up. We had 2 rooms and our friends room did not get made up that day when we were out but ours did however there was a slice of onion on the tile inside our room near the door that was not there prior so clearly the housekeep staff are eating in the rooms. I decided to leave it there and see if they took care of it the next day. The next day we came back to the onion slice still on the floor and less than a quarter of roll of toilet paper with no back up rolls. On our way out the next morning I asked them to ensure we had extra toilet paper and they did but the onion remained. At one point I had called the front desk to request an extra blanket (as I was told by the woman at the front desk there would be an extra one in the drawer but there was not). The phone rang for over 5 minutes with no one answer before I got frustrated and hung up. On day 2 we also told the next front desk person that the hot tub was not hot and was again told they didn't know how to fix it but would talk to maintenance. We came back that evening to a still cold hot tub and again complained to the front desk (this gentleman with red hair had a clue...we liked him) and he said he knew how to turn it up and would take care of it but unfortunately it was still not up to temp by time we went to bed. We tried to use the two computers in the "business" center to print some tickets. One of the two computers wouldn't even connect to the internet. The breakfast was gross, un-flavorful and cold. We went some place else from then on to eat. The carpet in our room felt damp the whole time we were there and it wasn't even near the bathroom so I have no idea what was on the floor but it was gross. When we checked out I told the person at the front desk about the mysterious onion that had laid on our floor for 3 full days despite our room being "done up" all 3 days.

"No problems"
After finding the hotel and checking in, there was several restaurants and a shopping area like two miles north of the hotel. Professional staff, good hot water, wifi was good and I like that there was a socket built into the lamp for a charger to be used (rather have USB ports near the bed but it's a BW so take what you can get). The primary reason I book the hotel was the 1000 AAdvantage miles I got thru Rocketmiles and near Hershey w/o having to be IN Hershey.

HORRIBLE- FLEA RIDDEN HOTEL!! Do not stay here. My husband had fleas jumping all over his legs! Breakfast was like an overflowing landfill. Garbage was overflowing. Inhumane. Had to checkout early then had to try and find a hotel for my family. TERRIBLE!

"Poorly managed hotel"
Upon arrival we were sent to our room to find out it was all torn up. We were given another room and it had not been serviced. The third room was a different class of room and was not clean. There was no apology or compensation offered and the staff and management seemed indifferent. This was not up to the standard of any Best Western we have ever stayed in and was definitely not a “Plus”. This hotel is poorly managed. The photo is how the second room appeared when we opened the door.

"Good Hotel, But With A Serious Issue (For Us)"
The property was located in a quiet area outside of Harrisburg. It has a spacious drive-in area where visitors can quickly load or unload their vehicle to check-in or out of the hotel. It has an inviting lobby that is clean and its upgraded amenities. The complimentary breakfast as well as the eating area deserves commendation as they are very good. The not-so-nice things that we have to mention with regards to our stay was that the room that was assigned to us has the following issues that need attention: 1) The bathroom door knob (or lever in this case) is not working properly. The door can be closed after a good amount of force, but the big issue was that it cannot be opened from the inside the bathroom which is a serious safety issue. It's a good thing that we are a family that occupied this room. If it were just me and this happened, I literally locked myself inside the bathroom with virtually no way to get myself out of. This needs to be addressed ASAP. 2) The bath tub faucet is not flushed to the bathroom wall, hence a gaping hole can be seen which clearly would allow the water to seep in behind the wall while taking a shower. The dining area is spacious and able to cater to about 3 dozen guests. It was well-lighted, with 2 glass doors providing direct access outside should an emergency arises. There was a nice big LCD TV providing entertainment information to guests. It was very clean and taken cared of. Food varieties are plentiful and well-stacked. It was a nice move to separate the coffee kiosk from the main breakfast area so the guests don't pile into a single line trying to get their preferred breakfast items. The hallways are very clean and in good order. However, we noticed that the hall air conditioners on the 2nd floor where we stayed are disconnected, hence the area near the far end were getting hot. This is notable because when we stayed here the region is in the midst of its worst heat wave in 7 years, with temperatures never went below 75°F and same with the dew point. The fitness center and the bubble tub (not a pool to be clear) were working properly. All in all, this is a good hotel that is very accessible from the airport and the nearby shopping center. Management just have to keep up with providing their guests the best amenities their hotel can possibly offer.

Our room was not clean. Bed made up over sheets with long dark hairs throughout. Wet towel folded to look new!! Next room, the deadbolt wouldn't work!!! Finally got a clean, fully functional room and sleep well.

"Good hotel for the price"
Friendly staff, nice large rooms. Breakfast was okay, nothing exceptional, just the standard pre-made foods. Hotel was updated a few years ago, but has some maintenance issues (door falling off hinges, cigarette burn in blanket, tear in curtain, etc.) Government rate is excellent, location is quiet and not too far from restaurants.

"Awful experience"
After calling to confirm our late arrival, we checked in at 11 pm. We went up to our room to fnd it in complete disarray: no sheets on the beds, no shower curtain, linens thrown on a chair. There were no there rooms available. The manager on duty was apologetic and made up the room himself, but that took over 45 minutes. So we couldn't get into the room until after midnight. I would never stay here again.

Been using this hotel for years. Rooms are always clean, Lobby is always clean, staff is friendly and the breakfast is always good. Been staying here for our family trips to Hershey since it switched to Best western about 4 years ago and each time has been great.

"The truth"
The overall experience was excellent. We were experiencing bad weather in the area where I lived so I stayed in Harrisburg overnight. What a wonderful surprise. Clean rooms, great customer service and an awesome breakfast! Eggs, bacon, waffles etc; Plus it was really quiet. I will definitely choose this hotel if annoccasion arises.

"Could be better"
not a lot of choices in this area, so we chose this hotel. At least the room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately , we had connecting doors and our "neighbors " would get up at 7 am and talk loud plus turn the tv on. it was really annoying . The AC unit was a joke.. I would put the temp on low but it would not make the room colder. I asked the front desk if someone could look at it but nothing was done. forget the breakfast, just get a coffee and drive to a dinner. Again , I gave it a three because the room was clean and the shower was good.

"Time for remodel"
Stayed here for a business trip, upon arrival a request that I've made was kind of mocked at the front desk. get into the room and the room is okay clean been at a lot better clean and smelling hotels, the selection of food while at place is very limited. They really need to work on staff that is very catering to what you need. Breakfast was okay but a lot of ready cooked heat up food thrown in serving containers. I would not want to stay at this hotel again unfortunately. I stayed at the executive suite and being there highline room the bed gave me a backache in the morning and the shower was nearly impossible to adjust.

Staff did not have name tags. When you had a question, you didn't know who to ask? The stair rail in the hot tub was rusty. The beds were uncomfortable. We stayed 2 nights and our beds were not made for the 2nd night. There are a lot of other hotels in the Harrisburg area, so for our next visit we will stay somewhere else.

Upon arrival, the front desk check-in was quick, friendly and efficient. Plenty of close parking found outside front entrance. Had ground floor room right next to lobby making for quick easy access to breakfast room, coffee dispensing area. Rooms were large and clean, although appointments in the room and bath were somewhat dated. Bath was quite compact. The breakfast was really excellent as more than one hot breakfast meat was offered, as were scrambled eggs, waffles and all the other expected breakfast items. As we are on our way to check-out I am assuming the process will be handled as was the check-in procedure. Would stay here again if near our route. Very cost friendly.

"Lack of Cleanliness/ Broken Heat"
Hotel was ok, needs to focus on the cleanliness of the rooms. We had candy wrappers and snack papers on the side of our beds. Hotel very short staffed, did not wash hands before switching breakfast items. Our heat was also broken but the problem was solved.

"It was fine"
The reservation was made by my husband's business associate so we had no choice in the decision. I like to make my own reservations and do my own research. I think the hotel was just fine and a good value. We had the handicapped accessible room and it offered lots of space. The shower was very nice with a removable shower head and nice pressure. The room was mostly clean but there was an old pair of socks left behind when we moved the room chair. That's gross! The bedding was clean but the beds were not comfortable, in fact they were more like an air mattress and every move my husband made bounced me around too. Also I would like to have a regular size pillow instead of the small decorative ones that are there. The breakfast was the usual fare for the chain hotels but it did have some variety with fried potatoes and bacon and sausage. The breakfast area was clean and had plentiful seating. We didn't use the hot tub but it didn't look inviting. The room looked like a closet and the water looked cloudy. I would not use it All in all it was an ok stay that served the purpose we needed it too. If in the area, I may consider staying again. It really was a good value for the price.

"Just an okay stay"
This place is just okay.I dont think it was worth the money paid.The rooms are a bit outdated.The cord on my iron would not pull out so that I could use it.I tried to call down stairs but the phone did not work,i went downstairs nobody could be found and I also called on my cell phone and got no answer.I would not stay again if I had another choice.

"Nice and Neat and Pleasant Staff"
We stayed in a king suite while returning to Ottawa Canada from a trip to South Carolina. The room was neat, clean and spacious as was the hotel itself. The lobby is large and inviting and the breakfast area was large and well stocked with a good selection of foods. The coffee was pretty good, too, which is a rarity at a hotel :-) The hotel recently went through a remodeling, both on the outside and inside and it's very nice. We didn't see the property before the remodel (it was a Wyndham by Wingate) but I can attest to how good it looks now.

"Overnight Stay"
This hotel was in a good location close to eateries and well as the highway. The hotel attendants were very pleasant and helpful. The room was big and comfortable. I would stay again if I was in the area or try an alternate Best Western Plus on future overnight trips.

"Nope."
This was a nice hotel to the naked eye. When start noticing the details and small things though, I would not have stayed if I had known. The bathroom in my room was NASTY, Bed sheets reused from the night before(I truly thought hotels change them that is why they have housekeepers right) , guy at the front desk seemed tired when I checked in at 1am.

"Better than Holiday Inn by far"
This hotel is great and is far better choice than the Holiday Inn, the rates are better, they don't make excuses if something goes wrong, they are MUCH more attentive to their guests and just all around better than Holiday Inn!!! (Not Holiday Inn Express)

"Very disappointed"
The lady at the front desk did not even know how to process a travel card. Incidental policy not fair . Most BW properties authorize $25 incidentals . This location does $50 which made them take $144 from us for a $84 room. If you live in Harrisburg they authorize $250 incidentals that should be illegal. Bed very uncomfortable this is not the quality of a BW plus.

"Kinda let down"
We have been on a multi day road trip from home in Louisiana to Hamburg, PA. We have stayed in best western and best western plus hotels all along the way. We were not impressed by this one. We drove out of our way because his was a BW plus. The lady at the desk was less than helpful. She couldn't find us to use our rewards membership. She didn't give any info about breakfast or anything nearby. There was a sketchy looking man by the door when we came in. I'm glad my husband is a police officer or I would have felt uncomfortable. When we got in the room the air didn't work. The phone in the room didn't work either. Thank goodness for cell phones. This was a swing and miss Best Western.

"Management issues"
We stayed in this hotel from November 8 till 11 in room 222. When we entered the room, there was no remote control. The young guy at the desk had to come back twice before he found one that worked. The pressure in the shower is poor. The first morning most of the items in the breakfast room were missing. Apparently a large group took everything early in the morning. The man responsible for breakfast was alone and had to process the supply delivery that came in at the same time. We expressed our concerns at the manager. The second day the problem with the shower pressure was fixed. We were compensated for the this.

check in, we requested a quiet room but were put at front of hotel where there is the most noise from outside, the mattress was the worst we have ever tried to sleep on, it was horrible, the curtains needed repair and the show drain would not stay open

"Worst ever in a Best Western,"
The hotel should be called a Worst Western. Drove 20 minutes out of my way to stay at was supposed to be a Plus Best Western. It had water dripping on the registration counter, the bathroom had paint pealing and caulk all over the tub, toilet.

"would have been better if hot tub worked"
the hotel was easy to find. property was clean. appears to be well maintained. check in went smooth. the 2 ladies there were very cheerful. interior was clean.again well maintained. but hot tub not working. did not seem in no hurry to fix it. a paper sign just said sorry for the inconvenience. i stayed there to do a charity event which was a 28 mile hike. the hot tub was main reason to stay there. then its not working! we stayed on 2nd floor. upon entering there was a musty smell. a scented candle took care of that. room was clean. well stocked.decent amount of tv stations. some didn't work even though on the tv list. there is a microwave and refrigerator in room both worked well. bathroom was clean. could see some patch work was done and the shower curtain bar drooped a little and shower curtain kinda opened a little. shower valve was kinda flimsy. but worked fine. didn't hear much traffic we were on the traffic side. did hear the motorcycles when they came by.climate controls worked fine. felt safe there. nobody hanging around. people do have there 4 legged friends there also. no problem. an occasional bark when they see you.breakfast is the usual hotel fare. as i always say don't expect diner quality food.it was tasty and saved me from having to spend $$ to eat out. go to a diner if you want all the fixings overall was a good stay there. the hot tub not working was my big disappointment there. would stay there again if i had to

"Stayed twice as they were pre-booked well in advance"
I stay at Best Western Hotels all the time. In the future I will skip this hotel and stay elsewhere. We stayed here at the beginning of our trip for 3 nights and are in the final portion of our trip here again before going home. The first portion we stayed on the 3rd floor. The bathroom door was hard to open and close. The sheets on the beds were wrinkly and one even had the sheet on upside down. There were small hairs on the pillow cases. My d-i-l and I slept in bed clothes that covered our bodies. Our current hotel room is on the 1st floor. Wile the beds seemed cleaner my d-i-l went to use the toilet and it was covered in urine and little hairs. She wiped some of the seat with a wipe as it was a long trip. I went to the front desk to see if there was a housekeeper available. Only one person at the front desk and he offered to do it. I said never mind and asked if he had some cleaner I could use and I did it myself. I used my own paper towels. Since the toilet looked bad I sprayed the tub and the sink area. I think maybe this hotel is just under staffed and is need of a housekeeping manager that does quality checks.

"Do Not Stay"
Upon check in we were greeted by Huel, who very much did not feel like being at work that evening. We traveled from NY on a Friday evening with 2 small children. We arrived around 11:30 pm. My husband unloaded the car and kids and I entered the hotel to check in. Huel proceeds to swipe my credit card and tells me it is declined. I proceed to say that that is not possible. He does it again, tells me declined. I get my husbands card, same account, he tells us declined. My husband says again, not possible, he calls his Manager Debbie Barton, she is on the phone with him and in front of us, he is telling her that "they say there is money on the card" with a roll of his eyes. I was so aggrevated, my husband has a fantastic job with a great salary and this card was empty with a large limit, this was not possible. He finally manages to input the numbers manually and it goes through. He starts to program our key and it gives him error after error. He is going through multiple keys at this point. Finally he says it is good and we go up to room 423. We have our 2 kids, one with a disability, so we have a lot of bags for her medications and treatments, and a cart with all of our stuff. It is now 12:00 AM. We get to the room and the room will not open my husband and my self try multiple times, there is a sticker on the door handle to push up, we pushed up down it will not open. My husband goes down and instead of coming to help us, twice HUEL says you need to swipe slow. 2 more trips up and down and Huel finally says he will help us. He comes up and surprise, surprise it does not open. I now have 2 very exhausted children who need to get to bed. As we are all walking down the hallway he proceeds to tell us that the hotel is fully booked and this was the only room available. My kids get upset and start to cry. He says he needs to call his manager again. In the midst of dealing with 2 upset children, I call down the road to Holiday Inn and they have availability, we take the room for the 2 nights we are here. I have now had to pay $100 more then I was supposed to pay you. I now ask Huel for a refund, he prints me out a receipt for $191.36. I ask him to check me out for the next night and to put it in writing that I won't be charged again. He is on the phone with his manager and keeps walking away to the back so I can't hear what he is saying. As he is doing this my husband calls our credit card company and each swipe Huel made that he says was declined I received a hold on our credit card for multiple charges in different amounts. And also a $50 charge for incidentals. The credit card company says they should come off in a few days, if not I can put in a complaint to stop them if they post. I ask Huel for a refund of the $50 and he gives me some song and dance about how he did but can't put it in writing. At this point I am very upset with how this is going, I have 2 upset children and I was aggrevated. He is telling me to "simmer down" and telling his manager I am still yelling at him, which I was not, I was just aggrevated. The fact that all of this was happening with 2 upset children and I still managed to call down to another hotel for a room is crazy. The fact that he wouldn't get off of the phone with Debbie Barton was ridiculous. The fact that Debbie Barton didn't get on the phone to speak to me was ridiculous. The fact that Huel, your customer service representative didn't offer to find me another room at another hotel, since this was your error, was so rude. The fact that I now had to lay out another $100 dollars at another hotel when I booked this months ago pisses me off. I did stop by the hotel the next morning to make sure that we were checked out and that the holds and charges would stop to my credit card. I spoke with your hospitality manager, don't know her name, but she was wonderful. Very apologetic and looked into our account and said they were just holds and should appear back on my card in a few days. Huel, on the other hand, was horrific. I hope that some disciplinary action will be taken in the way that Huel treated my self and my family. I will never stay Best Western again, and I hope that my credit card issues work out, otherwise you will be hearing from my attorney.

"A Little Disappointing"
Upon first seeing this hotel you think "Hey, it looks pretty good" but then the little disappointments begin to add up. I'll explain but first, the good. The staff was wonderful. Everyone we met was cheerful, kind and attentive. The housekeepers on our floor (3rd) were so thoughtful and our room was as clean as was possible. The room had a fridge and microwave which are always appreciated and the sundries shop had just what we needed for snacks and drinks. A nice bonus after a long drive. Breakfast was typical and decent. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, pastries, fruit The usual that you find at this level hotel. In general, this hotel met our needs just fine for the two nights we were there. It was the little things that eventually began to add up to the disappointment. The disappointment was akin to believing you were getting a premium gourmet ice cream only to find that it was actually the bottom brand from your local grocery store. First, I'll mention the bathroom. The shower curtain had a tear in it. No big deal by itself but then the toilet paper holder kept shifting, there was mold around the tub, the door handle to the bathroom only worked if you lifted it up, there wasn't a fan, and the water to the tub wouldn't shut off unless you pushed it really, really hard. Almost to the point you thought you might break it but then it was fine. It all worked but it was all lower quality than what you would think it would be. The room had a really odd smell. Almost moldy. I'm not sure if there was a water problem somewhere recently but it smelled like there was. If you have breathing issues, allergies or young children, this would be a concern. The sheer curtain in our room was ripped. Not just a little bit but completely to pieces. The outer curtains were fine which hid the ripped curtain. It didn't affect our stay but was an indicator of how things are at this establishment. Shiny on the outside but look more closely and there are many let-downs. The ants. We didn't have them in our room but at breakfast we killed seven on our table. I think they know about the ants and are working on the problem but it is still a problem. The hot tub room is a disappointment. It's so small and almost feels silly to use. Luckily, the lovely staff of this hotel made our stay enjoyable enough. It's important for you to know that we had planned to stay here before our trip to NYC in November but are now considering trying another hotel.

"nice hotel"
the place was very clean ( give praises to the cleaning staff) Hall way carpet needs to be repaced. very dark color but clean. bathroom was spotless. very nice. Romm was nice annd BIG. Tv was great too, not a tiny hard to see one.

"Would Not Return"
I stayed here for 2 nights with a large group of family/friends and probably would not return! The hotel was clean and the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable- I was expecting bagels and cereal but actually got hot food, too (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles). However, I was disappointed with the cleaning staff. After our first night we left after breakfast and did not return until after midnight that night. When we got back we realized that the maid emptied our garbage and forgot to replace the bags, took our hand soap from the bathroom and did not replace it, and took our bath mat and did not replace it! Although none of these things are too important, I expect better from hotel staff since it is their job! I didn't bother to go down to the front desk to replace these items since it was late and we were tired. There also was no extra blanket in the room and I always use the extra blanket when I stay in hotels. Little things often make a big difference in a hotel stay!

"Would give it lower but had to give it a 1 star"
What a mistake. The hotel itself was nice, but we were given a handicapped room. As I have cousins who medically use these rooms, I attempted to ask for a non accessible room since it bothered me to potentially take it from someone in need. I was told it would be an upcharge per night to do this because I booked through Travelocity (a "3rd party site", as they repreatedly told me!) As in, really, those needing the accessibility do not get a $10 discount per night???!!!!???? The person working the afternoon and early evening shift, and their manager, made me stand there for 45 at the front desk, with my stuff on a cart and my kids sitting against a wall. They had no customer service, a d repeated the same to travelocity when they called for me. They had no rooms to give travelocity for the same price, only if we paid $10 more a night, the principle of which annoyed me. The rooms around us were noisy, there was a dingy whirlpool, no real pool and the linens were not clean of fuzz when we checked in. We would not stay again.

"Last stay here"
We stayed here last night and were very disappointed. We have stayed here the last few years when we come for the Carlisle Corvette Show. However, next year we will be looking for a new location. The staff was fine, very friendly, but very disappointed in the condition of the room. There were drink stains, rings, all over the tables. Then, we found ants all over the microwave counter, the desk and the tables. I put my purse down and when I picked it up, there were ants crawling all over it. You really need to do something about the ant problem. The condition of the lobby was unsatisfactory and the dining room needed vacuuming. Sorry to see the conditions in this hotel going downhill.

"Overnight Surprise"
We were very disapponted to find ths hotel dirty in the lobby and halls and dining area. Then we had tiny sugar ants. Put down my cell phone and with in minutes it was covered with ants that scattered to my legs and bed. Our friends found them on their glassware and around microwave. They were all over the desk area. Now management explained due to heavy rains it has become a problem and discounted the rooms but I can tell you a good exterminator should remedy that. And a diligent cleaning team could cure the messy floors and tables. There is a musty smell throughout the rooms and hotel. Sorry, a discount will not bring us back. This our 4th year and we are done. We can see a decline. Staff is very nice.
"Reservation Canceled With No Explanation"
On May 26, we reserved a one night stay for August 14. While driving to the hotel, on August 14, at 1 pm, we received a phone call from the main reservation desk that our reservation was canceled. Once we had a chance to stop the car, I called this location to find out why our reservation was canceled. I was put on hold for 8 minutes. I hung up and called back and the same person answered and told me he was busy and would call back. Of course he never did. I have placed a call to headquarters, and over one day later have received no response. How does somebody get booted from a reservation that was made almost 3 months ago? My bet is that since I made the reservation through hotels.com and got a decent price that they had a direct reservation that they made a higher rate. If that is the case, they shouldn't ever work with third party vendors I am disgusted and appalled they would wait until 2 hours before check in to call me. Management, please reach out because I want the real answer as to why I was booted out of your hotel.

"Very clean and quiet"
Appearance was of the front desk was disrupted due to some Reno work being done. Other than that everything else was perfect. Room was clean and quiet. It was a pleasant stay for me and the family.I would love to stay there if i am in the area again.

"Horrible"
This hotel was horrible we had items stolen from our room by cleaning staff and all Management said was sorry! The rooms had stains all over the rugs. You could not shut the bathroom door it was swollen from the water issue they apparently had. the tub didn't drain so when you showered your were standing in the water up to your shins! This was very disappointing we had booked based on other reviews we had seen and I am not sure what has happened since these other reviews were done but this hotel was terrible!

"Worst hotel I ever stayed at"
went with my family and other families from my autism group there was a blackout the day of check out so rushed out to feed my son with autism breakfast and came back to pack up our things in the dark and left my kids 4 new hersey t shirts in the closet because it was so dark packing up when I called later that day after spending the day at hersey no one seems to be able to find them well where would they have gone the maid comes to clean the rooms so I guess the maids children are wearing my children's new t shirts the hotel was no help to me worst experience ever so disappointing my children are so upset and my child with autism doesn't understand why he cant bave his new shirt he picked out.

"Quick and easy"
I was going to arrive late, after 9 p, and called to inform the hotel. Said there would not be a problem and everything was in place when I checked in, no hassle. I had stayed at the hotel before when it was under another chain so it did not disappoint.

"Recommended for visits to Hershey Park"
Our main reason for choosing this hotel was our trip to Hershey Park. It's a 20 minutes driving distance from here. The room was clean, the beds and pillows comfy. We also used the fitness center. "Very last minute wedding stay"
I made a mistake and forgot to book a hotel for my friend's wedding. The bride chose this hotel and another local hotel for her room blocks and I had convinced myself I booked the other hotel months ago. I did not and realized this as we were driving from NJ to Harrisburg for the wedding. The other hotel was sold out, but luckily the Best Western had availability for Friday, so we at least had somewhere to stay on the first night of our trip, and Quinn at the front desk (yes we have the same name- like it was meant to be) put us on the list for cancelations on Saturday. Within an hour, we got a call that they were able to accommodate us on Saturday as well AND she very kindly honored the room block discount for us. For the price, you really can't beat it. Lobby is very nice and the room is spacious and clean. The bathroom could use a bit of updating, but otherwise it was a very comfortable stay. Many thanks again to Quinn for being so helpful and friendly. When I told the bride this story, she said that she really enjoyed working with Quinn as well!! So many thanks for making this experience for both both of us so great.

"Tourist"
We stayed here about 3 evenings ago. We had a great stay. The place is spotless and quiet. The girl got us checked in quickly and efficiently. She's very polite and knows how to smile! Something that seems to lack in a lot of cases these day's. The breakfast is a bit limited but enough to get you going. There's lots of food establishments near by. They have a list they hand out at the desk with easy directions to get to them. Very helpful! Would stay here again!

Room was a bit smelly (pets are allowed) so we asked for another one. That one was okay. Clean, but would need some maintenance work. Reception area is nicely refurbished and modernized. "Near Perfect"
This may be a repeat review since it has come back again for comment. This was near perfect and highly recommend the place for all the right reasons. They do a superb job in every category. But they need to pay attention to safety details because we has two very young children both trips and each time there was a safety issue. Once had a face plate off an electric outlet and second time the access panel to spa was missing and inner workings exposed. Mentioned to front desk and both times they were not very concerned. I got dumb response. So I would score them 99% and dock them 1% for safety.

"Lipstick on a pig"
check in was fast, staff friendly. room we got was right next to the gym so at 5am we woke to people running on treadmill. door was broken, would slam shut but was not hanging on hinges right so it wouldn't close all the way, housekeeping did not make sure door was shut when done, came back to the door cracked open. unsettling experience, front desk attendant changed rooms but didn't seem to care about the issue why. You could see mold from the corner of the roof where upstairs bathroom is, seems as though they just painted over it. Beds felt like an air mattress. Its like they took a cheap run down motel and put on some paint and tried to put lipstick on the pig, it will still be a pig. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Hotel was about 12 miles off I-81, but easy getting there and back on I-81. Accomodations were very good, room clean, bed comfortable. Other guests posted walls very thin so you could hear people talking or tv noise, didn't experience any of that. We were next to exercise room with people in it, didn't know they were until we walked by it. Walked to Angies diner, bar & grill for dinner. Very clean with good atmosphere. Food and service excellent. In my opinion would definitely stay here again and eat at Angies

Spent a night here while on a long roadtrip. Very clean and comfortable, nice staff. Breakfast was good eggs and sausage and they had a waffle maker. Hotel is easy to find and quick back onto the highway. We enjoyed the hottub too

"Enjoyed Our Stay"
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Room was clean and comfortable. There were a few broken things in the room such as the bathroom door and the refrigerator froze all of our stuff. Also, it was impossible to keep the room at a great temperature as apparently the thermostat didn't work either. We just turned it off. None of these things bothered us enough to report them. The internet did not work for my friend at all and only worked on the first day for me. That too did not bother us enough to report it. Overall it was a nice place. Breakfast was great and the updates in the decor made for a pretty nice place. We would stay again.

"The Jacuzzi Tub (Awesome)"
I went to visit a cousin who traveled from Florida for a wedding and the room there was total nice and off the charts. They had a jacuzzi tub in the room and in the lobby area. It was really nice and they had a tv in the lobby that didn't have all sports on it varied every time I visited. Next time I am in Harrisburg, I am going to stay here.. Did I mention that the ROOMS were so SPACIOUS!!!!

We stayed at this Best Western Plus on the way to visiting our son in college, and it was a great place for an overnight stay. The room rate was reasonable, the room itself was clean and spacious, and the employees were friendly. There were also some great restaurants to choose from along Eisenhower Blvd. We will definitely stay here again.

"Overnight stay for an early flight!"
It was snowing when we arrived and I believe that their portico is heated so no ice or snow as we unloaded- a PLUS! This hotel was comfortable and clean. Check in was smooth, quick, and friendly. "Poor room cleaning and bad internet"
I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. The daily cleaning was horrible and the internet was very slow and did not work half the time. I was erroneously charged $17 for something the front desk clerk could not explain or fix. My bill was later corrected. Bed was very comfortable though.

I'm a BW Premier member which is to say i stay with this chain often. Generally, the experience is top rate. Not this time... 1. Billed $25 higher than rate listed on reservation confirmation (problem resolved) 2. Toilet not tightly secured to the floor 3. Reserved king bed. Got twins. 4. Coffeemaker had short/unusable 5. Internet so slow, I reverted to cellular. 6. No arrival gift or bonus points offered for Premier member In my opinion, this property's overall aesthetics and furnishings are not up to "Plus" standards.

"a relaxing stay"
The room was comfortable and spacious even with a king- sized bed. Staff members were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the spa was enjoyable. We had a room on the first floor that unfortunately had an exterior light pointing at our window which required some manipulation of the draperies.. It was not quite as dark as we would have liked, but we didn't inquire about changing rooms.

"A Superb Stay"
We only have good things to say about our stay here. The room looked very clean. Our king-size mattress was incredibly comfy, as were the abundance of pillows at the head of the bed. The shower worked properly and was easy to use; the temperature was nice and so was the water pressure. The breakfast at the hotel was tasty; I really liked the waffles and sausage gravy We would like to give a shout-out to staff member, Corey, who made our stay extra special by honoring our strange, but funny request to hide a picture of Sherlock's Moriarty in our room, going above and beyond the call of duty. "Nice Mid-Grade Hotel"
The stay here was very nice. The amenities were great and the customer service here was impeccable. It is not far from the Hershey attractions which makes it nice because you can quickly get to them while staying in a nice hotel that is not in the mix of all the congestion of travel tourism.

"Room and noise"
If you book a king suite do not stay on the second floor near the balcony overlook. So noisy and woke us up at 6:45. Bring your own pillows too as the ones they provide are terrible. Also, the drapes in the room let in sooo much light that it was hard to fall asleep if you like a dark room. The tub was cruddy with rust all around the drain. The pictures are always nicer it seems until you get there!

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and even smelled clean. Complimentary breakfast had ample choices for everyone. Room was spacious and furniture was comfortable. We would stay here again when in the area.

"Good Hotel"
We stay here each time we fly out of Harrisburg, Pa. Its a good value and always clean and near everything. It would be nice if they have a shuttle, but my wife always drives me to airport which is very close.

"Harrisburg BW stay"
The hotel staff were very professional, friendly and most helpful. We did not make advance reservations and they were expecting a bus of people to be checking in and yet they went out of their way to try to accommodate us. The room was spacious, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast area clean and comfortable and the quality of food was excellent. A very good value for the money.

"Beware"
This Best Western Plus was very disappointing. It was not clean and extremely worn out. We were given a room with an unmade bed, torn sheets, and general uncleanliness. The staff, however, was very quick to give us a different room that had been cleaned.

We have an amazing time at the hotel the reception clerk was very nice and breakfast was more can you ask for. Also Hershey Park is only twenty minutes away from there.My Mom and my brother enjoy it. It was the best trip ever.

"business meeting"
Our overnight visit was a pleasant experience. Good service, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, and very helpful pleasant staff. Very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. conveniently located off of two major interstates. Several good restaurants within a short distance from the hotel. Gilligan's was so good we went both evenings!!!

"Great Front Desk staff"
My husband stayed here while working in town and I traveled in to visit him. The front desk staff had amazing customer service. The breakfast was amazing and the spa area was very nice and relaxing. The rooms were very quiet - we didn't hear any of the outside traffic at all or the people next to us. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in that area!

"Carlisle-Hershey-Harrisburg"
Great central location for Hershey to Carlisle events. We come here several times a year to attend automobile themed events. Whether it be Hershey or Carlisle, either are close by and easy to access. Major interstate routes are nearby too.

"Place to stay"
We stayed at this hotel 6 nights since August and will be returning next week. The staff were always polite and went out of their way to provide anything we needed. Room are clean, breakfast is good and it's generally quiet. Felt secure.

"BW Plus Harrisburg East"
Our experience during our four night stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff was fantastic. Everyone from check-in to check-out was extremely friendly and efficient. The room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was among the best we have experienced. Our experience with this Best Western Plus property was outstanding and I would recommend this hotel with out reservation.

The staff was wonderful, we came in to town for the RV show in Hershey. Corey accommodated us at every turn. Our shower water was unbearably hot and could not be adjusted, so Corey sent up a key to the room across the hall, where we showered. He also saw to it that breakfast stayed open just a LITTLE longer, so we could get there after the shower debacle. Breakfast and the breakfast staff were very pleasant. All in all, we would return!
"Not Great, Not Terrible..."
I stayed here with my cross country team over the weekend. I am probably biased towards liking it since I didn't pay for it, but let's give this a shot. It was your average hotel's breakfast, lobby looked nice, and the hotel's exterior looked newly renovated. Some things I liked were that the rooms looked clean, the breakfast table had built in USB chargers, and the hotel's interior looked new. It wasn't all good though... The bathrooms were small, outdated, and didn't have a fan. The rooms seemed small, and a person on my team said they had hair coming up from their shower drain (can't confirm that... didn't see it myself). And the door to my room looked like someone tried to saw off where the lock is and you had to use force to close the door. I didn't interact with the staff, but from what I observed our front desk agent, Quinn, seemed helpful and friendly. I also saw the breakfast attendants go outside for what I would guess was a smoke break. I wouldn't call this a terrible hotel, but I would personally look somewhere else next time I'm in the area.

"Older hotel, Room could have been better prepared"
This is an older hotel. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The refrigerator was making a noise, the solution was to unplug it. This caused the refrigerator to leak water on the floor. When we got to the room there were two wet spots on the carpet, source unknown. Complimentary continental breakfast, Choice of breads, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, make your own Belgium waffles, juice, milk and coffee. Would not stay here again.

"Dog Poop!"
We checked in and the receptionist was very nice. When we got to our suite and at first looked very nice. My husband and I unpacked and wanted to relax for a bit before heading out for a bit. I sat down on the couch and decided to adjust the temperature of the air conditioner. When I looked down at the floor there was a piece of dog poop on the floor! I then looked closer at the floor as I was walking to the bathroom to get a tissue for the poop and there was bits of dog food on the floor!! That tells me that housekeeping did not do their job. I went down to the receptionist and told her of the issue. She apologized and did offer a discount on the room. I accepted that and just asked that she make sure housekeeping swept the floor really well the next morning. The next day my husband and I left and I noticed a piece of plastic near the doorway on the carpet as we left. When we returned later that evening I was shocked to see that it was still there- they never even swept the floor! Just made the bed and gave us new towels. Watch where you step!

"Great stay"
I was in town for a funeral so the trip wasn't pleasurable. However, the hotel sraff was awesome, friendly and professional and my room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great!!

"Love it!"
We have now stayed at this Best Western Plus twice. Both times were great! Plenty of pillows, extremely comfortable bed. I was able to get a great night's sleep both nights. Great water pressure in shower! Room clean, pool and hot tub very enjoyable! Will definitely stay again!

"Great hotel"
This is the 3rd year we have stayed here when we go to a car show in Carlisle. Although it's a little bit of a drive to the show the hotel has been a great place to stay for the weekend. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and the breakfast included is really good.
"A nice in Harrisburg"
I nice , clean hotel with vet polite staff. The breakfast was very good with an mixed of Hot and cold items. A great place to stay, we used it as a stop-over and the location is closed to the highway.
"Needs an update"
stayed here because it is close to the Harrisburg Airport. Hotel room needs an update and desperately needs a new mattress. There is a diner close to the hotel which I did not use. In a quiet business location. The hotel appearance is ok. I assume all the rooms need to be updated with furniture and decor. It was fine for one night.

"WAS OK"
It wasn't anything very special. It was the last hotel that I stayed in after two weeks of traveling. I am happy that I used points for it, since it wouldn't be worth spending money on it. Lobby was really impressive but that's all.

"Convenient Location"
We stayed at the Best Western Plus because it was close to the airport and wedding we were attending in Lancaster. It had been recently remodeled and had a full hot breakfast. Other than a minor maintenance issue that was addressed immediately, we felt the facility would be one that we would stay at again if visiting our family near Harrisburg. Staff was excellent!

"What a mess"
1) First night we notice the blankets were damp on the bed, this switched us to a different room 2) Room was dirty, hasn't been vacuumed and smears on the furniture and mirror. Bathroom was horrible. I went ahead and cleaned the bathroom myself, with lysol wipes I packed 3) I think someone was living at the hotel, we smelled curry the whole stay 4) Treadmill was not working and fitness facility was dirty dead bugs, food on equipment and sweat spots on the equipment, yoga mats etc. No cleaners present so the user may wipe down after use. When I spoke to Cory at the front desk about the Fitness Facility, he was rude and informed me that he cleaned it a couple days ago. I asked if he wanted me to show him. An hour later, he informed me that the treadmill was broken and he apologized about the inconvenience. 5) The dining room, was dirty. The food was awful. They had no water for us to drink like the other BW 6) They still had Wyndham logos around. 7) I asked Cory to let the Manager know I would like to speak to her or him. Later that morning, spoke to Debbie she was very nice and understanding. Thank you Debbie.

"Nice for the Price"
Nice newer hotel. In general the staff was just okay. Corey was awesome. Do not stay here if you need fast internet. I didn't get basic emails in a very timely message - Ever. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and new.

"Affordable Hotel Not far from Hershey Park"
15-20 min ride to Hershey park and was worth the trip. The hotel was affordable and came with breakfast. My kids loved the jacuzzi. Comfortable beds. Refrigerator and mircowave in the room was a plus.

"It was just ok....."
We had to have management come clean the room again. There was hair in both beds, the bathroom had what looked to be toothpaste on the faucet, and the shower walls had smear marks. For what is cost for the weekend, find another place. You can do better.
"Great Place to stop, has everything you need"
This Best Western is a great place to stop. It is clean and all of the employees we encountered were super helpful. The brekfest was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. There are some very nice resturants nearby and it is convenient to nearby attractions.

"Average Stay"
The grounds were well maintained and the lobby was as well. I was disappointed that after a 5 hour drive we arrived 20 minutes before check in and had to wait to be checked in. Not fun with a 5 year old.

"Great option near Harrisburg"
Great location of the interstate, quiet area, very spacious rooms that appeared to be recently updated, hot water on demand, breakfast items were plentiful, will use this hotel again when returning to area

This location was one of the best stays I've had at a hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious, and great water pressure and temperatures. My family and I were very pleased with our stay. If your visiting Hershey Park it is a great place to stay.
"Good value."
Good hotel for your money. Hotel appeared recently renovated. Some areas they could have done a better with the renovations, but overall it still looked good. Hot Breakfast was included. Less than 20 min to Hershey Park. Front desk staff were very friendly.
"Nice Hotel"
Clean hotel and rooms were nice size. The staff was friendly with a quick check-in process. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, a bar next door and easy access to the freeway. I would stay here again.
"Our Hershey Stay"
This was a great value! People were helpful in getting our rooms next to each other as we were traveling with other family members. Everything was clean and the staff was really nice. Breakfast was good, and a nice variety to chose from. Close to Hersheypark,about a 15 minute ride but very direct. We had a great stay!!

Excellent stay. Everything was clean and very nicely presentable. The staff was very kind and helpful. This is defiantly my top choice for next time. Great rate compared to other locations in the area.

Last minute trip to take the kids to Hershey. Hotel is about 20 minutes away which is not bad, Clean appearance with plenty of parking. Nice reception area and check in was simple and flawless. Room was very clean, with comfortable beds and accessories. Wifi worked great, bathroom was clean and shower had good pressure. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of hot and cold and they kept it stocked. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice hotel while visiting the area.

"Good facility"
For the money it was an excellent motel. The only issue was the wi-fi network was too slow. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety to choose from. It was a convenient location to get back on the Interstate to leave the next day, but far enough away to be able to get some rest.

"Comfortable Stay Close to Hershey"
My husband and I were in town to visit Hershey Park and decided on this hotel in Harrisburg as the price was 'reasonable' compared to others in Hershey and we've stayed at Best Western's before and were satisfied. I'm not sure what made this one a Best Western Plus though? The room, particularly the bed was very comfortable. The lobby appeared to be updated, but our room though comfortable is starting to show its age. I overheard someone at the front desk mention to another guest that they had one of the updated rooms, so I guess we had one of the older rooms. The front door to our room did not close easily, you had to really shove it to get it to close. I was also surprised that the tub did not have any non-stick material in it. I had to be VERY careful not to fall. The bathroom also had what looked to be a fan, but no switch to turn it on. Everything else was fine, the A/C worked great and was quiet, so that was a plus. We stayed two nights and breakfast was good. The only thing that changed from morning to morning was the breakfast meat, going from sausage to bacon which was good, but very salty. I was secretly hoping they would have cheese in one of the two trays of scrambled eggs, and was disappointed. This would be a real perk. Perhaps a switch from scrambled eggs to omelets would have been nice as well. I remember the last BW that I was in having a $9.99 buffet with traditional buffet style food (including an omelet station), so I was a bit surprised that this wasn't at the BW Plus, though I did see somewhere that they are all individually owned and operated. I would happily pay for this if it were switched from free to buffet. Overall, it was a comfortable stay...easy to find. I would return again and hope by the time I do they have updated all the rooms.

"Just like the pictures "
We arrived 2 hours early and they let us check in. It's clean, nice, and comfortable. Also near the hwy! Breakfast was hot and neat. The hotel has lots of parking and it's quite all the time. Nice staff and great price.

"Excellent stay"
Used Best Western for a softball tournament in Harrisburg PA. Was a very nice stay, room was clean, breakfast was great. Beds we had were ok, the mattress in the room were very soft, we are use to a firmer mattress to sleep on. Not sure if they may need to be replaced or that was the style. We we're not in the room that much only to sleep and shower.

"Excellent hotel"
I stayed there with my husband and 2 kids. It was 20 minutes away from hershey parks . The rooms are updated and very clean . Staff was excellent and welcoming . The breakfast was very good and my kids enjoyed making fresh waffles . I will definitely come back again when in PA

"Good Value for Short Stay"
Hotel appearance was appealing, the staff pleasant, and the breakfast had a good assortment from which to choose. High Speed Internet was down during my stay, which I know it wasn't planned but I wasn't able to access my business work before my training the next morning (kind of nerve-wracking); took longer than it should have for the hot water to run thru the faucets in the room. And if you are light sleeper like I am, be sure to request a room on the back side of the hotel. I was put in a room on the fourth floor on the front side and the outside lighting was horrendous in trying to get and stay asleep (it lit up the room as if you had lights turned on inside the room). Overall though, I was satisfied and would stay here again as it's a good value for what I paid for an overnight stay.

"not a bad stay"
not a bad hotel. very clean. hotel next door is on the shaddy side but no issues there. breakfast is over prior to 930 my only compliant. no pool. but very clean staff very friendly 15 mins to Hershey park.

"A little hideaway"
This hotel is off the main highway but very close to services and food. I have stayed several times and the service and accommodations have always been great. Breakfast area and lobby are very clean and organised.

"Good value"
The staff of the hotel was great. Front Desk provided great tips for Hershey Park and followed up with us when we returned. The decor was good. Only stayed for a night but felt the value for the price was good.

"Great place to stay"
Great place for a great price. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. They seemed to care about your comfort. Breakfast was wonderful. Not too far from Hershey Attractions. Will stay here again when we come back to Hershey!

"Great Place"
Affordable, comfortable, and with easy access to travel and dining options. The bed was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly. Everything was clean, and I felt safe leaving my car full of my belongings in the parking lot overnight.

"Short Stay-relaxing"
Stayed for one night due to business in Harrisburg area. Quiet, comfortable, nice staff, great breakfast, and quick check in and out. I did not use any of the amenities, due to time, but will stay there again for all my trips out there.

"Yuk"
Awful wrinkled linens questioned if they had been washed, blankets that should have gone in garbage, I wouldn't have given them to a homeless person...awful, awful, iron had a cord that automatically recoiled but wouldn't stayelongated, room 304, yuk yuk, never stay at BW again,

"Great Value for price"
We used this property to house our staff for a local lacrosse tournament. The staff was friendly, everything was clean and up to date. Great value for the cost - we paid $149 a night, which was elevated I am sure due to the high traffic in the area. I don't think that it is that high normally. We had our dog with us and it worked out perfectly!

"Good Hotel"
I stay at Best Westerns in most of the places I go. They just get better and better. The Best Western Plus Harrisburg is near airport and the personnel at this location go the extra mile for their guests. Many restaurants near the hotel that are enjoyable and for my wife there is a shopping center close by.

"Average hotel stay"
Breakfast was decent, room was comfortable, ants were in room, didn't feel it was the most family friendly hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was not as clean and working as would have hoped with multiple children.

"Second stay worst than the first"
My second stay in two months and it's getting worse! Should be a regular Best Western NOT a plus! Looks like the owner are massaging the books to position this property for a sale! And in the process cutting out all value:-) Burnt out light bulbs, minimal towels per room. Breakfast with "boiled bacon", no condiments, no yogurt, and no walnuts. The cereal is stale and seems to be off-brand. The smallest milk containers ever, it takes two for a bowl of cereal. They use off brand undersized styrofoam cups for drinks instead of the nicer Best-western Plus brand. The manager is beyond extremely rude ,(maybe pressured to drive the bottom line?) my wife asked the wonderfully hospitable desk clerk (Quinn) a question and this manger tears out of he office aggressively blasting saying no to a request, then storming off. The only reason for two stars are the very nice breakfast lady and Quinn.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Staff was extremely friendly. I am in the hotel business and notice things many guests wouldn't .Very satisfied!! Everyone was friendly and helpful. "Stop the spotlight beam please! I want to sleep !!"
People, be aware, there are spotlights at the front of the buildings pointing to the front windows. The drapes and curtains do not stop the light at night and you wake up at 1:00 thinking the sun is up. Good breakfast. Close to highways. The rooms are clean. Staff, well, do not expect a "good morning - good night - welcome", they do not use these expressions.

"Very good experience"
Had a very good experience. The Executive Suite is definitely worth the money. Very good price for the Executive Suite compared to other hotels. The room even had a mini fridge and microwave. The jet powered bathtub was nice too.

"Two different stays"
First stay was on the 22nd and 23rd of April. Front end staff was very helpful. Two things that were not so good, 1st room 415 is right off the elevator and the we heard the ding every time it came up to our floor as well as voices. We got lucky that our dog didn't bark each and every time. Next on the 23rd we went to Hershey and spent most of the day out when we got back there was no maid service done to our room. Even with this few things that should have been better we decided to stay again on our return home. So May 3rd we stay another night. When my husband checked in he was told that we had an additional 50.00 charge to be applied to our account. So I went in and asked, the front desk was beyond rude as well as the manager on site. Oh that's a convenience fee that has to be applied I advised her that the first stay we were not charged that amount and all she came up with "Well I don't know about that but tonight you will be paying it". You will notice a credit of 50.00 to your account after you leave. Well here we are on the 10th of May and that 50.00 still has not been applied. The room we got on the 2nd stay was away from the elevators but it smelled musty. We decided to not say anything because we knew we wouldn't get anywhere with the front desk staff. So I booked this hotel at a fair that was good for our account plus the surprise fee of 50.00 when we got there and still it has not been applied to our account One more thing the 1st visit, the maid that came up had no idea what we were saying when we asked for more shampoo and mouth wash...that never happen. Our bed on the 1st visit never got made. One more thing WiFi stinks I was unable to log in...

"Mold"
Room and hallways smelled of mold. Was with a group of 30+ and many felt the same. Housekeeping did not clean room on daily basis. When there was a toilet issue for two different rooms, a plunger was handed to you to resolved issue yourself.

"Nice hotel"
Everything was great the staff the cleanliness the only complaint would be the mattress it in all fairness I have a bad back and don't sleep well in any hotel. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. The breakfast was great.

"Home away from Home"
I enjoy my stay here every time. The staff is courteous and the manager is wonderful. The new decor is marvelous. I like the location so many restaurants within walking distance and also not too far from stores if you forget anything.

"Very nice hotel"
Always enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only thing i can say negatively, is that the bath tub drains too slow when showing. It's located no far from the activities that i had to attend. There's Hersey park, and a casino not far from the hotel for entertainment purposes. Other than that, is s great place to stay for the money.

"Better than before"
Since they re branded their hotel it looks better and feels better. Rooms are spacious, clean and breakfast is richer than before. Fitness room is even bigger than in normal hotels and you can enjoy a small swimming pool. There is always room for improvement but overall meets expectations.

"Very enjoyable w great amenities"
Stayed 3 nites on biz- I'd definitely stay there again! Modern upscale lobby- nice 1st impression. Even a fridge & freezer w convenience items u can buy- ice cream!, frozen foods. Nice hot tub, great bfast! Not just cold carbs & fruit- CLEAN bfast bar also including pot of cooked oatmeal + toppings, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage & gravy, potatoes, waffles. Modern, very clean room w king bed, sofa, coffee table & all the in-room amenities.

"Overnight stay"
Hotel was clean and was recently renovated. Room was average. The bathroom had no exhaust in it which made it a little awkward when multiple people are in a room and someone uses it. Beds were hard and you could feel springs
"Very Pleased"
This was my first time at this hotel and I found it very clean and tidy inside and out. The staff was excellent and very pleasant to talk to. It is very close to the airport and that was important for me.
"Great Place to be"
I only stayed here for a night but it went very well. I was checked in super easily and had a great room for a great rate. In the morning the manager Dorian (I hope I am spelling it right) was spot on with her friendliness, attitude, and overall excitement. You could tell she really enjoys helping people out. If you are going to Harrisburg or Hershey and want a great place for less stay here.

My husband and i stayed here a few weeks ago and were kindly greeted by Quinn upon check in. We later had a (small) housekeeping issue and Quinn went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The level of customer service we received was comparable to a 5 star luxury hotel! Overall, a great experience at an incredible value!

"Stop over on the way South"
The hotel staff was very friendly and accomadating. The room was fresh and clean. The breakfast was pretty good for an early morning road trip. The only negative I have is the "half" pillows. I hate them, Many hotels seem to use them these days. Why??? Do people really prefer them? Thankfully, I brought my own pillow. Please, bring back the full pillows. Overall, a very nice place for the money. We would come back again if going this way again.

"Dog and people friendly"
Brought my dog with me on a business trip. I had not stayed at a Best Western Plus before. I usually use a competitor when traveling with pets. I had heard good things from co-workers about this property and decided t give it a try. The staff at this property was fantastic. They were welcoming and accommodating. My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious.

"If only the bed were more comfortable!!"
I loved most everything about this hotel. The decor was lovely; the staff was friendly. We had a suite with a couch which was very enjoyable. My only complaint was that the bed was kinda lumpy and soft. I was very surprised to discover that as the rest of the room/stay was quite satisfactory. The breakfast buffet was nice, except the eggs/bacon/sausage gravy were cold. I used the microwave to heat it all up. I did like the strawberries for my waffle!

Wonderful stay at this Best Western! The room was very clean and so quiet. Bed was comfortable. I had an early morning flight and it was an easy drive to the airport from this location. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Excellent"
The hotel was modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The fitness center had a few cardio machines as well as a weight rack. Some weights were missing but it was not a big deal. Breakfast options were varied and the lady who oversees it kept everything very well stocked. Very happy with the experience.

Best Western Plus in Harrisburg, PA is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly when we checked in at night and when we left in the morning. Hotel decor is updated and modern, beds are very comfortable, and the room has a nice size bathroom. Internet was great as was breakfast. We used our AAA discount and the room is very affordable. We will definitely choose Best Western again.

"Queen beds Great breakfast Close to Hershey"
JUst stayed for one night on our way to hershey and Gettysburg. Kinda out of the way but Super clean and BIG ROOMS.. very reasonably priced,Hot breakfast and nice front desk. Beds were very comfy and clean. work out room SUKED.. the treadmill was not working and the elliptical was SUPER squeaky and was in a tiny room .was great to have a good breakfast before we left.

"KING BED !"
We don't usually want a king bed (too far away from each other) but that night we were delighted to have been upgraded to one. We were exhausted & the concierge was so helpful. We walked next door to the full-service restaurant and everything was more than hoped for. Thank you again.

"Good place to stop"
Good breakfast, clean rooms. Only drawback is that there's not much within walking distance - a rather industrial/business area it seems. Good value though, and good proximity to Hershey for the swap meet and car show as well as the Hershey attractions.

"Could Do Much Better"
The check in was quick and pleasant. We got into our room and immediately I noticed that the swing lock was cracked though the base and hanging from loose screws. How housekeeping could clear this room as ready without getting this fixed, I'm not sure. Management quickly moved us to another room, no problem. This room looked fine until I was about to take a shower and realized there was no shower curtain. I called the front desk to ask if there was supposed to be one there, was assured there should have been, and had a curtain within 5 min. So far, these were minor inconveniences and we settled in for the night. Within an hour our neighbors were having a party which seemed to involve half the floor. Loud talking, laughing, screaming in the hallways, doors being slammed, loud music, and very thin walls. It was a Friday night and it sounded like a group of young people having some fun so we decided to try to ignore it and try to get to sleep. At 1:45 am I called the front desk to complain, let it ring over 30 times and still no answer. It actually became scary as people were shouting angrily at each other in the hallways. I felt trapped in our room. About 2:30 am things settled down. At 5:30 am it began again, this time it was obvious there were several people engaged in loud sex, their headboard banging against the wall where our headboard was. There was loud banging against the wall beside the bed and a woman screaming. We could actually hear clearly everything they were saying. Management gave us a 20% discount but having only 3 hrs of sleep before a long drive took its toll on us and the beginning of our vacation. We were told that the group had other complaints and that someone should have been on desk when I called. They apologized and I understand that you can't always predict what type of customer you're going to have, but the problem wasn't monitored closely enough and effectively. If you have a group coming in, don't put other guests near them...the hotel was not fully booked so we could have been put elsewhere. And please Best Western "Plus", do something about your paper thin walls.

"Very Nice Hotel!"
My husband and I stayed here for one night after a concert at the Giant Center. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was, especially for the price! The entrance was very inviting, the staff was pleasant and check in was fast. Our room was nicely decorated and very cozy. The breakfast was really good too! I would have liked to have enjoyed the hot tub but we didn't have time. We would definitely stay here again. Oh, most importantly, the hotel was spotless!!

"Great Hotel - Great Value"
Whenever we enter a new state, we always stop at the Welcome Center and pick up the coupon book for discounts on hotels, etc. This time there was one for the Best Western in Harrisburg. We checked in and were amazed with the excellent accommodation (2 queens, microwave, fridge), hot breakfast included and the great attitude of the staff. The only thing is we like to have a table of sorts to play cards after dinner in the evening. We didn't have a table in this room, but they allowed us to bring in a chair from the breakfast room and we played on the corner of the computer table. We stopped again on our way home and asked for a bigger room with, perhaps, a table. We got a room with a king bed, sofabed, hassock, counter/bar with 2 bar stools, a bar sink, fridge, microwave for the same price as before. Again, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hot breakfast (sausage, waffles, scrambled eggs) was delicious. If we are ever near Harrisburg PA again, this is where we will definitely stay!

"Worth The Value "
After spending so much time checking rates and reviews for hotels in the Harrisburg, PA area, we decided on the Best Western Plus. Under $100 a night for a Friday and Saturday, and a larger room with sofa. The reviews made me nervous, but we were willing to give it a shot. First, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Second, the room was clean, but I felt it needed better lighting. I had to turn on every light in the room and still felt it needed more. My husband thought the bed was comfortable, but I felt it wasn't supportive. I kept waking up with back pain due to constantly having to hold myself from rolling into the center towards my husband. There were plenty of towels and for a basic room, it was fine. Third, the breakfast was satisfactory. I read reviews that said different, but they had everything from waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage to biscuits and gravy. We walked away full and the sausage gravy was very good. Keep in mind, this isn't a high end hotel, so it's not going to be perfection. There is a diner/bar down the street, but I wouldn't recommend walking. Between the hotel and diner is another little, shady motel that I wouldn't walk alone near it in the daytime, let alone the night. The Best Western Plus is in a decent location to Hershey and the Hollywood Casino. We found a great dinner place, The Progress Grill, located about ten minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

"OK, but has some flaws...."
I booked this room to stay for 3 days on a business trip. I booked an executive king suite on hotels.com. I read previous reviews and according to more recent reviews the hotel seemed to have undergone some renovations, so i took a chance. Check in went smoothly, and i went to my room. I ate my dinner and didn't think twice about checking anything because it seemed clean at first glance. I went to pull back the sheets and found 2 very long black hairs in my sheets; one on the white fitted sheet and the other in with the fleece blanket between the flat sheet and the top sheet over the blanket. Obviously they hadn't switched the blanket out or bothered to check if someones hair was in there!!!! The fitted sheet on the bed was so worn that i could see my hand perfectly when i slid my hand underneath. I went to the front desk and asked for a new room. The gentleman was very kind and apologized for everything. He offered me a new room, or the option to give me new sheets and blankets and i could remake the bed myself....... um? I don't think so, that is not why i pay to stay in a room so i can remake my own bed...... My new room was comfortable, and had no other issues.The continental breakfast in the morning looked good. i only had the coffee and it was fine. They also don't show in the pictures that there is a sketchy motel that sits right in front of the hotel. Food for thought..... Overall it was ok if you can deal with everything being mediocre, but I will not be staying here again.

"Perfect for a budget-friendly, quick trip"
My family & I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Hershey Park. The reviews posted about this hotel being dirty & under construction are actually untrue at this time & must have been former reviews. While I have definitely stayed at better hotels, we booked this for the price since this little trip was booked while on a very tight budget. Considering that fact, we could not have been happier. The rooms could use some improvements for comfort but the customer service was wonderful!

We stayed here for 3 nights, we are a family of 4. Rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was good, always have enough supply even at the end of the buffet. Staff are friendly. The only reason why I'm giving 4 star was the lack of swimming pool. Hot tub was available.

"Clean & Quiet"
My fiancé and I stayed here after a wedding. We checked in late and checked out early, so it was mainly a place to lay our heads for the night. With that being said, it was clean and quiet. The location was easy to find and close to central PA attractions. I would recommend for a night or two.

"Always a good stay"
We stay here every year in November. Breakfast is great, room is wonderful, and staff is always friendly & professional. It is only 10 minutes from the Farm Complex. The Irish Pub attached is convenient and the food is excellent.

"Comfortable beds "
We spent three nights here. Front desk employees were all very nice. The room was basic but comfortable. I was most impressed with the bed, it was very comfortable. We chose not to have housekeeping during our stay but they brought clean towels when needed. They do offer breakfast but we decided to sleep in and missed it. Coffee is available 24 hours a day in the lobby. They have parking but it does fill up in the evening. Our key never worked for the little gym but we didn't go to the front desk to fix that. No pool but they do have a large whirlpool. The location is close to many dining options as long as you have a vehicle. My only complaint was the wifi. It never worked but if you happened to get on, it was only momentarily.

"Breakfast was awesome, clean room, super nice employees"
So we stayed here three nights and had a great time. The hotel has recently been renovated and it really shows. The beds are super soft and comfy, even the pull out sofa bed was comfortable, which was something I didn't expect! The breakfast offered had some really great hot food, including eggs, bacon, and even able to make your own belguim waffles, which was a first for me at a hotel! The staff were all super friendly and had smiles and a warm welcome ready all the time. I even loved talking to the cleaning lady as she made the bed. Over all this place was really awesome and I'm glad I stayed here as it was much better than many of my other hotel experiences.

"Best Western Plus Stay"
Enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus. Wi-fi worked great, room was very quiet, breakfast was good (except for the eggs but loved the waffles) and the staff was wonderful. Loved the fact the front desk had a list of nearby restaurants with directions! Only other wish would be to have taller shower head - it was ok but that's to be expected when you're 5'10"

"Clean but didn't care for staff member's attitude"
We arrived in the evening of July 15, 2016. We went up to the room and discovered we had been given a room with one queen bed. I had made reservations for two queen beds. I pulled up the reservation on my phone and went back downstairs. The clerk tried repeatedly to get us to stay in the room - even after he confirmed with their paperwork that my reservation was for two queen beds. He pointed out twice that the room had a pull out couch. I pointed out that a pull out isn't the same as a real bed. He finally checked to see availability and gave us a room with two queen beds. He apologized for the inconvenience, but then added it wasn't his fault. He just gives out what they tell him to. That last part was unnecessary, and his apology did not feel genuine in the least. The room was clean and neat.

"Great option"
Clean and comfortable. Easy 20 minute drive to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire and Celtic Fling site. Great option if you cannot get into one of the closer hotels. Love the belgian waffles on the breakfast bar. The only thing missing was biscuits to go with the sausage gravy.

"Overnight Stay"
Easy location to get to, both the hotel itself and where its located with 3 major roads less than 5 minutes away.The parking lot was clean and well lite. The room was very clean and very well maintained. It looked spotless. The breakfast was also very good. Had a good variety of food and plenty of it.

I really liked this location. It was on the outskirts of the city so we were not driving in a congested area. There were a number a restaurants nearby. The breakfast area was more spacious than most places. There were scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, cereals, fruit. All was good. The hotel room was clean, wider than normal (for a 2 queen room), clean bathroom. I would definitely stay here again. The managers were accommodating to our needs.

"Best Western took over this Hotel from Wingate and improved it"
The last time my wife and I stayed here, this property was a Wingate Hotel and in terrible shape. Best Western has taken it over and improved the facility quite a bit. They have refurbished the property so it looks a lot better. We were greeted at the front desk by Nickolas and as Best Western Card holders. The Lobby was clean and inviting. Debbie the manager was also helpful. Quick check -in Rooms were very nice clean and large. We had a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine and the shower very good. The breakfast area was large and very well stocked and fresh. A small pool that we did not use. An easy check out. We stayed for 2 nights at a very good rate and would return again.

"It's only cereal ??"
Grant it we checked in late and was asked by the front desk guy if we needed a wake up call for breakfast. Due to breakfast ending at 9:30. I declined because I thought the kids would have me up in time for breakfast. Well we all overslept ??. It was 9:45 when I went down to ask if I could have some cereal for my 2 kids. The cereal was on a cart so I grabbed 2 bowls and put some generic fruit loops (aka fruit rings) in them when out of nowhere comes Margie stating breakfast was over at 9:30. I was trying to aplogize and let her know we got in late last night and overslept. She wasn't trying to hear it. Now I have 2 bowls of cereal and a locked fridge with the milk in it. I asked Margie if I could please have some milk for the kids, no reply. She walked away then she came back and opened it asking "I guess you want 2%" sarcastically. Then she asked how many did I want as if they were 1/2 gallons. I asked for 2 and she gave them to the girls. I could've stayed further down Eisenhower at a cheaper hotel where I would expect attitudes and crappy service then go eat at any of the restaurants. She upset my experience there. Not to mention it's no indoor or outdoor pools for the kids to go swimming. Danielle and Debbie were both very friendly. They need to give kindness genes to Margie, it was only cereal??.
"You MUST stay here when in the Harrisburg/Hershey area!"
When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Danielle. She was AMAZING! After such a long travel day, my son's senior prom, an abcess tooth, etc., I arrived at the hotel exhausted and in pain. Danielle greeted us and seriously, she made my whole day better just by the way she greeted us. She was so nice, cheerful, happy, genuinely sincere, and she made me laugh. I just can not say enough good things about her. It wasn't a fake pleasantness either. She honestly seemed that she cared and loved her job. The entrance to the hotel was clean and modern. We got up to our room and the pack 'n play we requested for my granddaughter was already in my room with sheets! This is so wonderful for a hotel to do when you make a request online and they honor it and don't make it a hassle. The room was spotless. Believe me, I am a hotel snob. Before I unpack I check the mattresses for bed bugs, behind the curtains for bugs and mold, in the bathroom for mold, make sure the shower curtain is clean, make sure there is no mold or slime in the refrigerator, etc. This room was spotless, smelled fresh, etc. We stayed two nights. The next morning, I came down for breakfast and it was delicious! Large variety, wafflers WITH strawberry topping and whipped cream. I had one issue, I went outside to my car and came back in in the middle of the night. My key card wouldn't work so I came back down to the front desk. The front desk gentlemen asked for my ID, I said my ID is in my room. He said, I can make you another key but I have to accompany you upstairs to check your ID. ABSOLUTELY not a problem. I really appreciate that they take hotel security seriously! By the way, the key not working was totally my fault for having it against my cell phone. When we checked out, my daughter left her diamond ring in the bathroom. She remembered 5 hours later, after the room had been cleaned. She called the hotel, and the diamond ring had been turned in to the front desk by the cleaning staff and we were able to go pick it up. This simply does not happen in this day and age. I do not know the employees name, but they are to be commended for their work ethic and honesty. This was the best trip I have ever had at a hotel. Thank you so much for helping to make our weekend great!

"Another Best Western"
This hotel had quick check in, friendly staff, and was a clean hotel. The bed was soft for our liking, but it fit everyone comfortably for our visit. The breakfast was good, but I would have liked to see more options and meat cooked a little longer. No complaints as it was free, just my personal preference.
"Convenience"
The rates were affordable for the holiday weekend we stayed compared to other hotels in the area. The accomodations were modern and comfortable they offered HBO as part of the television package. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

"Average BW. Has some flaws"
FD staff was able to get my family and I checked into our suite early, which was nice when traveling with infant twins. Girl at the desk in the AM could smile more. Our suite was huge and even had a jacuzzi tub - a nice surprise for our six year old! A few housekeeping issues were overlooked, mainly some dusting on the HVAC units. There were many youth soccer teams staying on the same weekend we were here. Noise was expected, however large groups of kids were riding hover boards around the halls late at night, keeping us all awake. One call to the desk was all it took to remedy the situation. Breakfast in the morning was standard Best Western - the area was kept clean and food well stocked. There are other options to eat nearby as well as Target and Walmart short drives away. Hershey attractions were only a 15 minute drive.

"comfortable.. yes i would return"
beds were comfortable. a mini fridge, microwave and flat screen. A NICE flat screen. There were many little kids on our floor but i didnt hear any of them thru the door...there is also a small pool and a snack bar in the lobby. Yes i would return. Only had 1 minor problem with the plumbing, which i assume is now fixed; the shower came right out of the wall and the shower faucet would not turn to close...just kept spinning.. the desk got maintenance right on it before we even left

We used a hotel voucher and got a very good price on the room. The young man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The room was plain but clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast offerings were limited, however.

"Good location"
What we liked: The location was convenient. 3rd party price was good and selected due to decent reviews and cosy comparison. Indoor pool and hot tub What we didn't like: Requires a drive for meals. Mattresses were on the low end. The room hvac was gross-clogged with debris, so I shut it off and opted for stale air. Shower drain excessively slow. You stood in a 2+ inch gross puddle at the end of a shower. Screw on the bathroom floor. Urine at base of toilet. No towels at the pool. Pool was overly foggy, uncomfortable, unkept-moldy, rust, peeling paint. Hair in eggs at continental breakfast. Layout in breakfast area was a logistical nightmare.

"One night stay on the way through"
This hotel has just moved to Best Western from another brand. The hotel is relatively new. We stayed there while on moving south to Maryland. The rooms are good. The hot tub is great, and much appreciated. The breakfast is good. Our only problem was a large group of teenagers that descended upon our floor in the evening. They decided the hall was an extension of the room, with much noise until late at night. I told them to stop, with some success. The hotel had to intervene as well. This is tough for hotel managers, as they usually do not have the tools to deal with moderately rowdy visitors.

"Great hotel and price"
Desk staff very attentive, room clean with plenty of towels and wash cloths (that's a rare thing these days), excellent price, hotel recently remodeled and is beautiful. Only downside was breakfast is done by 9. We were in town for a local conference, we went, registered, got our seats, and came back for breakfast and it was all put away. Breakfast could use some yogurt too.

"Great place to stay on a budget."
The hotel is nice, clean, and quiet. The staff was super friendly and knew me and my girlfriend as we had stayed there more than once. It is close to the airport, and close to the some great dining, the bigger mall in Harrisburg, and a really nice theater. It's a great place to get out of the country for a little while. It's also about a third cheaper than the other Wyndham hotel in the area, and despite the other being more 'upscale' (The Wyndham Garden Hotel) this one had much nicer rooms. The only thing it lacked compared to the other was the free shuttle.

"Great value "
We stayed here for 2 nights while Motorama was at the Farm Show Complex. An easy 10 minute drive away. The hot tub was cold the 1st night but corrected quickly. The hot and cold water was plumbed backward. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
"Loved This Place"
My husband and I unexpectedly needed to spend the night in Middletown, Pa, so at the last minute I got on the computer and Googled lodging in the area. Based on price and excellent reviews we booked a room at the Wingate by Wyndham Harrisburg. After booking the room, I called them and requested a 1st floor room or one with close acess to the elevator as I suffer from severe back problems and sometimes have trouble walking. When we arrived, we had a room on the first floor very close to the front entrance. The most important thing to me in any hotel/motel room is cleanliness. This place was spotless....and HUGE. It was a large room with a king size bed plus a sofa bed. It had a large, flat screen tv, a mini fridge and a small microwave plus a coffee maker and a hair dryer. There we plenty of towels and the internet was fast. Did I mention that this room was CLEAN? The bed was just a tad soft for me but was the perfect softness for my husband. The breakfast was wonderful...scrambled eggs, bacon, English muffins, bagels, bread for toasting, assorted cold cereals, hot oatmeal, a Belgian waffle maker, mini muffins, apples, syrup, jelly, butter, margarine, coffee, tea juice and milk. There were two attendants and ample seating and the whole area was spotless. The ladies who were attending were so friendly and also very helpful. Although we did not use it, there was a small workout room right next to ours, I think they even had an indoor pool but I didn't see it. This place is about 4 miles off the main highway, but very easy to get to and our room was very quiet. I feel we got a great bargain for the price we paid. I would not hesitate to stay there again. And, I cannot stress enough how impressed I was at how clean it was.
"My stay over at Mom's!"
I loved this hotel! I needed to stay over to spend the day with my 91 year old mother. It is a long drive from where I live ( near Atlantic City) to Middletown, Pa. Sometimes when I make the trip I stay over the first night and then I am fresh to spend the day on outings with my mom who now lives in an Assisted Living Situation. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and the price was reasonable for the area( Harrisburg/ Hershey). The hotel was only minutes to my mom's Assisted Living unit. I had a King room that had a sofa, small refrigerator and coffee maker. There were plenty of towels and toiletries. The only real disappointment was that the workout room was closed due to repairs. I had really needed to get some movement time in after the long drive and for medical reasons. There was a lovely Hot tub adjacent to the workout room. Included was a nice breakfast and lovely Breakfast Room. I experienced my first stay with Windham in Tennessee through an RCI exchange and was very impressed with the way they keep their units maintained and clean. While on a recent stay on Hilton Head Island I did not exchange to a Wyndham Property. A lady sitting by the pool said it all ( as we were disappointed with our exchange). She said, "You can't go wrong with Wyndham". I am beginning to believe that myself now.
