Best Western Premier Sapphire Halong

Exceeded my expectations! Great value for money for the quality of the facilities, non-pretentious, lovely rooms and service which cannot be faulted. Ms. Linh at reception went out of her way to assist during a very difficult period for the hotel and its staff (super Typhoon Yagi) and Mr Minh overseeing the breakfast buffet was very welcoming.

The hotel surprised me quite a bit even though it was the first time I chose to stay here. The service was extremely good, customer support was timely. The staff was cheerful, enthusiastic, and friendly. I was very satisfied here. I will choose to stay here with my family and friends the next time I come to Ha Long. I will introduce the hotel to many relatives and friends to experience.

I had a vaction with my grandmother, who is 80 years old. Although she is a rural person and limited experiences, Sapphire's staff completely serve us with whole-hearted and demonstrating a remarkable ability to anticipate our needs. Overall, the experience is satisfying. The room is large and has everything you can ask for. The room is cleaned everyday and is kept organized so that things can be found very easily. We have a lot of open space and 2 pools (1 indoor and 1 outdoor). We will absolutely come here again in the future

Great staff, the front desk manager and staff were very attentive (especially ling niu)! They were always ready to help and provide recommendations! Very helpful! Hotel is so clean. I had such a great view from my balcony! Towels and bedding were so fresh and comfortable! I loved how the staff all removed their shoes before coming intp your room to ensure hygiene is kept to great standards! Breakfast buffet staff were very efficient and always had a lovely smiley face first thing in the morning! Bar and lounge staff made great juices and teas! Thank you for a fabulous 2 week stay!

Clean, luxury hotel, pleasant stay, great breakfast, i am on team building w company. Has great dinner and venue service. Great shampoo. Love the staff. Would recommend to stay over during trips to Ha Long. Very nice view to the harbour. Love.

This place IS SO CLEAN!! Im used to hotels like Holiday inn and motels but this. THIS IS DIFFERENT. There is a place for the kids to play and it has sooo many things to do in there hotel rooms are really clean and look amazing Shoutout to all the nice amazing staff that they have here. They are so friendly and kind they will help you with anything! I would come here again for sure! ♡♡

Great check in and hotel is new and modern The check in staff were very courteous and helpful on arrival. The rooms are spacious and modern with exceptional views There are great restaurant facilities if you choose to eat in !! Our stay was only short but what a great experience

Hospitality was good , hygiene was maintained, amazing ambience. I came for a trip and stayed at this place. Enjoyed a lot. The room size is good. The view was nice. Staff is very warm and friendly. I recommend this place. Location is also very convenient

Been to BWP Phu Quoc and it was amazing so I expected more when choosing this one but I disappointed myself. The highlight is the staff team, very kind and tried their best to help eventhough it's busy season. We stayed in a 2 bed suite overlooking the bay, the room is pretty as well as the view, amazing. However, the floor was carelessly cleaned even after the 2nd mopping, we can still see the dirty stripes. The bigger problem was the stewage with an unpleasant smell the whole time we stayed there. We were gone most of the time and came back late so the whole suite stank as we left the bath door open. We also got NO wifi in both bedrooms and barely in the living room, the phone didn't work but we figured out it was just unplugged. Whoever decided that the room was ready should really check it better next time. That was a lot of issues for just 1 night staying there which I find weird for a 5 star hotel, the whole experience can't even meet 3 star standards. Not to mention that their breakfast was so awful, save your money and go out to eat. Premade dry waffles, no option for eggs other than fried, coffee and passion juice were made with 2L of water and a splash of fresh passion and coffee, can't be blander. AWFUL

Everything is exceptionally well, the furnitures are well made and decorated. The bathroom also fully equipped with shampoo, body wash and other stuffs, really like it. Cool feature is the seperate air cond in each room, so everyone can freely adjust them however you want

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was spacious and the staff were extremely friendly, the stay was comfortable and the view was very good. However I don't know if I would categorize the hotel as a 5-star. Our refrigerator didn't work. The food in the restaurant was mediocre at best. The room could have some more amenities. However, overall it's a decent place to stay for a weekend getaway.

This Best Western is a new hotel and very affordable...$40 Cdn a night or $60 with breakfast. The breakfast is amazing...full buffet with everything you could want. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have the best hotel gym that I have ever seen. I woke up and went down at 6:30am for a workout and didn't know the gym did not open at 7am. I decided to have a coffee and wait...and before you knew the staff came and opened the gym early for me!! The walkability is excellent!

Very good view, model equipment, large parking garage, nice staff, quiet hotel however not far from the center of Ha Long city with many services, markets etc... Worthy to stay and enjoy nice facilities of the hotel.

Property was more or less what I expected, a new and nice but not luxurious property- more like a good four star than five star category. Front desk staff was helpful and professional and gave us some small upgrade due to BW status. The views from the Bayview room are excellent, with a nice little balcony and a door that opens to enjoy the fresh air. Location was not that great and had to take Grab to restaurants but it's cheap and easy. Very close to seaside promenade which is nice for a walk or morning jog. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and pretty good quality, with fresh pho station. As in other hotels in Vietnam, they tend to put meat in every dish so vegetarians need to beware but they do have options. Overall I found this to be an excellent value stay- a western quality hotel with local prices which is a winning combination.

We wanted a hotel instead of usual overnight cruise for flexibility at night. Best Western Sapphire Ha Long was one of the few hotels where we could preselect ocean view room instead of it being up to chance/luck. The hotel itself was stunning! The staff so thoughtful, helpful and courteous that really elevated the experience to something very special. The hotel and rooms are very luxurious! We chose the 2 br oceanview and all rooms had amazing views, with the lounge having a balcony along with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. It was so lovely relaxing. We had a drizzly day but it was still so special. The official photos are exactly what you get and are honest in their representation. The buffet breakfast is enormous in variety! Full Western and Asian selections with salads, pastries, noodles, congee, juice and muesli, hot cooked buffets just to name a few. There was plenty with no sign of running out when we were there (Dec). The breakfast room was huge and elegant. Definitely worth adding it on to your stay! We were warned by others that the location is not convenient to main centre, which was good advice, as it is about 15 mins drive over the bridge. However it is not so isolated from other things and there were many restaurants and cafes around it and the walkways along the way stunning. We were kind of just wanting to chill when no on the cruise so this was perfect for us! I would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

Nice & brand new hotel, friendly staffs. They help us with very fast checkin and order the taxi, arrange boat trip to the bay even I have limited time only. Definitely I will come back here for business trip or leisure purpose with my family. Also recommend thí hotel to my friends. Thanks

My family and I had a great time staying at this hotel. The front desk staffs were very friendly and always smile whenever we passed by. Spacious and clean room. Breakfast was good. The kid's club was the highlight of the stay, clean and spacious!!! I would definitely come back next time.

This place has horrible customer service. The ppl at the front desk are just plane rude and the way things are implemented just asinine. First i came to the hotel and said i wanted to make a direct booking bc the app wasnt allowing me, i expected them to match the best western apps rats, they refused, i said i dont want to go thru agoda which had the same price, they said book thru agoda, cool. Did that. Next night we wanted pizza, baby was crying and tired after cruise and grab wasnt delivering. I went to bar to order pizza, and they wouldnt allow me to take the pizza to my room!!! I ordered kfc etc no issues taking food up, but they disallow taking food from their restos to the room, so i had to bring crying baby down to eat pizza in the bar. In the morning i asked if this is actual policy, they said yes, cant take hotel food to room!?!? Much better options, customer svc can make or break a stay, these ppl are horrible…

I was travelling solo in Vietnam and wanted to stay in a well-named hotel. Perfect location, amazing and friendly people and outstanding hospitality. I would highly recommend it. The travel agent is one of the best guy I have ever met. Book the boat trip at Ha Long Bay. It was an amazing experience.

This is an amazing hotel with amazing prices! The room is modern and spacious. And the location is perfect in Ha Long. There was construction next to the pool so we couldn't enjoy it! But everything else is perfect. Also make sure you walk around the hotel and enjoy stunning views of halong bay islands

Great hotel with excellence services, all the staffs are nice and really care about the guest. Room view is excellence that can see the ship and the cruise going in and out of the harbor. Facilities are great with indoor swimming pool, spa and gym. Location is really near the shopping mall and the seafood markets that make it really easy to buy souvenir or fresh sea food from the sea.

We stayed here for 3 nights in junior suite. Our stay was very comfortable, everything was perfect. Their staff is great,always smiling,ready to help. Indoor pool and hot jacuzzi is amazing especially after a long tiring day. We had a great stay. Best part this hotel is in a nicer area, lots of cafes in a walking distance. Anytime better then BaiChay. Totally recommend.

Spend 3 days vacation here with my wife and eveything was perfect. The room have view to the bay, the Baichay bridge and it's spacious. Food and drink are decent too. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and a wide view to the city. Highly recommended
