Best Western The Wish Versailles

This is such a lovely hotel. Staff so friendly and helpful. Reception staff all spoke English . Food was great. They accommodated are requests for slight menu changes. . Eating out side was brilliant during this September heat wave. The pool was well kept and helped every one cool down. Forgot my swimming trunks! And they programmed my phone to take me to shops. Room lovely air conditioned. Electric car charging in an adjacent car park. Use the chargepoint app for an amazing price.

My first ever accommodation in France and what a great choice I had made. My knowledge of Paris and surrounding areas is very limited. So while at home in Australia I looked up accommodation close to a golf course and because my budget is limited I found this beautiful venue. After a 20 hour flight from Perth to Paris I just wanted to sleep. So a taxi to Guyancourt. Upon entry to reception I was greeted by Duncan who showed me about. Then after a great sleep in a comfortable bed I went downstairs to the restaurant where I had a delicious meal of Salmon. Also a beer or two or .... The rooms here are comfortable and the bed the way I like it. Hot showers and clean amenities. I am booked here for 5 nights. I am going to regret leaving when the last day comes around.

I arrived late and only stayed till after breakfast, so it's hard to write an objective review. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are very basic, but the bed was good. Breakfast was okay, but typically French.

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to Versailles and having a pool. The staff were friendly, the parking was free and the pool and grounds lovely. The room itself was small and bland but clean. Wifi was strong but there were few television channels that weren't scrambled. Breakfast and dinner were uninspiring but given the local here are few other options, It is definitely set up as a business hotel for people who don't plan to spend much time in their rooms. Overall a pleasant place to stay for one or two nights.

Motel type hotel in a Paris suburb. On the plus side, good service, easy to park and access, good breakfast, quiet. But needs a refurbishment urgently, the carpets are worn out and interior from the seventies. The rooms are very small, bed also small.

I really enjoyed staying in the Wish Versailles with my boyfriend. The swimming was good as well as the room. The service was great. The stuff were very nice and welcoming always greeting us with big smiles on their face.

i enjoyed my stay at this hotel , i found the place was really quiet and peaceful with awesome and lovely staff ,i found a difficulty to speak or deal with others using french .the pool is nice but too small for the number of people

The rooms are small, but very clean and fairly modern. The hotel restaurant was one of the better options in the area. Breakfast was okay, good selection. Wifi was good. All in all it was a pleasant stay and I can recommend it for people who want to visit the Versailles palace.

This was a brilliant play to stay during our trip to France. The staff were great and made you feel really welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. The room was excellent value for money and was really well maintained during our stay by the housekeeping staff. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the salad bar in the evenings. The outside pool was a great place to relax. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay

Arrived at the hotel about 7pm on sunday 30th june ample car parking, booked in at reception and was told the restaurant is not open over the weekend and would have to find somewhere else to eat after driving 400 miles to get there. I was told McDonalds was the nearest place and when i went on the app to find somewhere to eat everything seemed to be closed on sundays so had no choice but to use mcdonalds. When we got back to the hotel we decided to have a beer, for a 330ml can of Heineken was €5. But before that i was given a room and was amazed to find someone else using it, when i went down stairs to reception they were puzzled them remembered that the cleaning staff were using it and once they had finished showering we could have the room. We obviously didnt like the idea of using a room that hadnt been re-cleaned so pressed for a different room, which we eventually got , but even then the sink leaked over the bathroom floor so had to go and get reception to get it fixed. The TV worked and had 4 english news channels. Also the air conditioning didnt work so room was hot,(gave up complaining by now) Other than that the room was clean a bit small,bathroom small and the room had tea and coffee facilities but they only left enough stuff for one person bit daft as there were 2 using the room. Would i stay again NO

We stayed here to visit Versailles and Paris. The room was small for three of us, but comfortable and hotel staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Food in the hotel was pretty good and ample parking was available. The local village has a few eateries which are OK.

Small rooms and bathrooms without bathtub, these are the main drawbacks of this hotel. Apart from that it has a nice reception area where you can relax and enjoy a drink or coffee. Sleep quality was good and the nespresso capsule was a great surprise! Breakfast was ok. Rooms were clean, nothing to complain about. Staff was friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for the bathroom I would have given four stars!

The room was clean and quite small but with all the essentials, including a kettle and coffee sachets which is always a bonus. The breakfast was very good with yummy fresh pain as chocolats. A good option for an overnight stay at a good rate.

Stayed at the Best Western Wish Hotel for a few nights, found it comfortable and handy to work locations. The great salad bar in the evening is a bonus. Rooms small but comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here to visit the Versailles Palace. The hotel is approx. 11 mins by car. Located in a quiet town. The hotel has free car park available which was a plus for us. Check in was very quick and easy and all the staff here spoke very good English. The reception area is modern and very welcoming, The rooms were small but was nicely decorated to high standard, you have tea and coffee making facilities in your room including a Nespresso coffee machine like the other travellers said limited to one cup per person. Wi-Fi worked very well, no English channels. The hotel has a swimming pool, so don't forget to pack your costume or trunks if you fancy a dip. Beds were very comfy and had good night sleep. Didn't have dinner here but breakfast was adequate. I would be happy to stay here again.

We booked a family room along with a double. We understandably paid a 40% premium for the family room but it was basically the same tiny room. My parents room had a large queen sized bed but ours was a regular double and a single for our daughter. It was very cramped and I really think it was poor value for money. This was not clear when we booked. It was only a short stopover on our way home but I wouldn't stay again.

Good hotel. Rooms: Rooms are nice and with airco Facilities: -The hotel pool is nice but no other fitness facilities. -Enough parking options Food: -The dinners are really nice for a hotel restaurant. -The breakfast is compared to most hotels a bit spartan. It has all options but it did not make a big impression. Overall nice!

Well run and clean hotel. The menu is fairly simple and not bad value. Rooms, although small are comfortable and clean. Fine for business and the value is good too. Taxi's to Charles de Gaulle take nearly 2hrs at peak..

Very nice and super clean Best Western, mid brand hotel in a great city in France. Rooms are small and very clean, nicely appointed, upgrade from typical Best Western. Nice restaurant and bar - comfortable seating in bar area. Good breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff and willing to work hard to accommodate guest needs and comfort. Location is a bit challenging - nothing local and walkable. Short Uber or taxi ride to restaurants and tourists sites or businesses.

I stayed here for a night. Arrived late but the check in was the easiest I have ever experienced in all my travels. The room was clean and elegant. Nice form bed for a good night sleep after long travel. Breakfast was ok. Checkout again quick and easy.

During our stay which was one night business, the hotel was under construction, so pretty noisy. I would recommend it for business trips and Versailles sitings as long as you have a car. I saw that there is a bus stop in the near proximity of the hotel but not sure how long it would take you to get to Versailles. The room is a bit spartan and compact, but has all you need. The breakfast buffet is OK, it comes with an extra charge though.

I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel the way the staff treated myself and fellow travelers. They knew our names and room numbers from day one and every request was received with a smile and no problem. They even offered to open their breakfast bunch early on Saturday morning so we could eat before leaving for the airport. Great crew I will be back.

I have stayed at many hotels and never had such an amazing customer service experience as I did here. They knew our names the first night and never forgot them, or our room numbers. They remembered our preferred drinks and knew our habits. They were friendly and so very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit more modest but comftorable and a good place to stay. Unlike many hotels I've seen in Europe this one had a large number of outlets as well, which made charging and using my various devices a lot easier. If you are in the area, I'd reccomend it.

The quickest sign-in ever, which was a real treat: no credit card required, no passport, no signing, no queue - nothing. [And I was paying the full bill myself] Reception knew right away who I was and simply gave me the key for my room. "WiFi?" I asked. "Free and no password." Sure enough, worked a treat. But very strangely, next day I needed a password. Heating in the room easily controlled and very effective. Shower almost instant hot and easily controlled. Locking safe easy to use. Bed and TV fine, but only one English channel: Euronews. Other dislike: no place to store anything. No drawers. Only a shelf and a very ordinary open hanging space.(see photo) Dinner good and served well - nice staff. Breakfast - plenty of choice including lots of fresh fruit.

Here is good option to stay around here if you have a car. Bus number 465 runs to Saint-Quintin-en-Yvelines station even mid night. Distance from CDG is around 50 km and it took approximately 80 minutes even 22:00 because of traffic jam at peripherique around St.Denis. There is a Nespresso machine, however, I can enjoy coffee only one per day. There is also water heater which I believe this is convenient. Room is clean. Shower room is large. Breakfast is nice. Good baguette comes around 6:45. I like the juicer machine.

A pleasant hotel in a small and quiet village about 15 minutes out from Versailles. My husband chose as he had some business nearby but it wasn't too hard for me to get into Versailles or Paris. A car would have been handy but also stressful as we're from Australia. I used the bus which was right outside the hotel. There was a hotel restaurant but it was booked for a private function when we arrived on Saturday night. Luckily we weren't too hungry because there wasn't anything else nearby. The restaurant did have a nice buffet breakfast each morning and dinners thereafter but we preferred to eat out each night. Staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable the housekeeping staff did a great job each day.

Family vacation. They were very accommodating for us with our 7 month old. We had to be moved to a different room so we could place our pack and play for her to sleep in. Pool was wonderful. The restaurant though is a joke. Don't waste your time. Plus it was input open 1 night of our 3 nights we were there.

Whilst it is not a grand elegant hotel it offered a good price for a nice clean room. Not a high quality finish to the rooms but new and fresh. Obviously had a refurbishment with new contemporary furniture, without a full strip out and rebuild. Final test is the bed and the bathroom. Bed was new, supportive and comfortable as the bathroom was spotless. Ultimately you are paying for a sleep in clean surroundings and this delivered for me. Bar was very pricey but again pleasant. This hotel would not be a destination hotel but as a base to reach some key surrounding areas was ideal.

It's hard to know what to write about this hotel, I will start with some positives - The girls looking after the place are pleasant and made me a coffee on arrival while I waited for my room to be prepared and the parking is good. The mediocre points, the rooms are small, ok for 1 but you would be tripping over each other if there where 2 or more. The menu is limited and the food average. The poor, when I got to my room I found the water water wasn't working and would be off I was told until 6 that evening, to be fair it was on before then but it would have been nice to be informed beforehand. I then found that the WiFi didn't work for my stay and not 1 English speaking channel on TV, to kill the visit totally and result in me cancelling previously booked visits for the coming weeks, I arrived to check out at 5-45 am, no queues so expected a quick process, I was still waiting 45 minutes later as they struggled to work the computer to print the invoice out. As the title says, maybe I was unlucky but I won't be giving it a second chance and they just lost 12 months worth of bookings while I work in Flins.

A great place and location, espcially if going to the Palace of Versailles. Great Staff, kind and helpful. the place is nothing special, but it's not run down and it's very clean. Rooms are small, but adequate.

Staff nice and welcoming. Nice decoration, Nespresso coffee machine in the room, that's nice. I had a burger for diner at the restaurant, quite good. Nice breakfast. Bed low quality. Old electric heating in the bedroom, not very plesant, or too hot or too cold.

We spent 4 nights during a trip to Paris. Great location if you have a car, lots to do within 20 mins drive radius. Staff were fabulous, great friendly service and couldn't do enough for us. Pool was lovely and very clean as was the whole hotel. We will definitely be visiting again.

I booked this trough internet and got a nice price , the hotel was clean , staff was nice and easy to find . good for business less for leasure . it is a place where I would go back in case I would be around .

Great for overnight stays. Family friendly and also good for business travelers. Breakfast buffet was exceptional with real orange juice press! Wide variety of breakfast foods including European and American tastes.

Polite, friendly, and helpful staff. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms, with easy check-in, check-out. Thoughtful amenities: water bottle in room, biscuit by coffee machine, elevator. Would definitely return.

We went over the weekend to this great hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful that we immediately felt we had landed in the right place. There were only a few other guests in the hotel, and the restaurant was closed on Sunday, but the staff helped us find an excellent Thai restaurant in St Quentin. The kids loved the heated pool and we loved the sound of birds while drinking a glass of rose on the terrasse.

Stayed in a triple room with my two children (4 and 6). For three beds and two kids the room was far too small. Breakfast ok. As to the place - we were visiting relatives who live walking distance from the hotel, so for us it was perfect.

Very smart, recently rennovated hotel with good facilities and in an ideal location for business in Guyancourt or the SQY region. Short walk to Guyancourt village and a very short drive to Versailles. The Hotel staff were very friendly and professional, the room was clean if a little on the small side and the bed was comfortable. Wifi speeds were fine so working in the hotel ws not a problem. Nice coffee machine in the room makes a pleasant change from just a kettle. Only real issue is that breakfast is seriously overpriced, but with many other options nearby, this is easily avoided.

nice/simple room, decent breakfast, great staff. good location close to Versailles, has a nice pool (if the kids weren't walking in the palace gardens, they wanted to be in the pool!). staff was great, very helpful and accomodating.
