Nice clean rooms. The breakfast is very good. Very friendly staff. We stay here every October for Cruisin the coast. We have already booked our rooms for next year. We have told multiple of our friends about this hotel. Great location for the event!
The stay was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was hot and filling. We had no problems with check in or check out. It was a nice place but just a bit farther away from the activity. There wasn't enough parking to accomodate all the guests.
Wonderful all around!! Great place to stay. Very clean, lots of clean and soft pillows, very soft beds and low enough for a handicapped person to get off snd on. Places to plug in phones etc. Breakfast was great! Plenty of places to sit and eat. Lots of food for breakfast different varieties of food and drinks. Plenty places to park also in front of your room. Place to park a trailer also in back if you bring a trailer. Will stay there again!!! 🙏✝️🙏
Room was not what we where told.food was terrible. Front desk had my reservation wrong. Made me stepaside to handle other customers, even though I got there first never been treated this. Will never stAy there again and will warn my friends.
Our room was cleaned. I appreciated the extra pillows on each bed, 4 per queen bed. I liked the large TV. The pool and outdoor area was large and inviting. The breakfast room had lots of seating, was clean and a nice variety of hot and cold food. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great location. Easy on/off I10. Lots of dining close by. Easy drive to Island View Casino. Recently renovated and room very nice. Breakfast has great hot food, pastries, fresh fruit, and really good coffee. Usually stay here 3-4 times a year on trips to Florida.
We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left first thing in the morning after the first night. It felt like we were in the red light district. Everyone staying around the pool had their door open. They partied with blaring music and drugs through all hours of the night. Kids throwing up in the pool. Poker games with old men gambling at every table around the pool all hours of the night. We checked out and didn't stay the second night we paid for. They didn't refund us our money.
Great staff , check in was quick and easy. The rooms are spacious and modern. The beds are comfortable and cozy. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area. The beach is only 15-20 min away depending on traffic. Very affordable price!!!!
The hotel on the outside is a bit rough looking, once you step in it's well kept and nice. The rooms are pretty average but the pool is what makes this hotel. It is a nice size pool, and has a hot tub. Our room, along with additional family member's room did have cockroaches and spiders in it. The staff said this was normal for the area and said that if we wanted to switch rooms he could see what he had available, after we were told there were no rooms available to switch/upgrade to earlier. We had questions regarding our bill, the assistant managers were not all that friendly and seemed irritated that I had questions. My cousins credit card had been used for hotel booking only but was scammed and used for an uber ride after we returned home days later. I will not be going back.
$250 deposit held for 3-10 business days. Ridiculous. Also, outdated AC units were not sufficient . Room had been remodeled, but neglected to switch out AC units from 1982. Obscure sign to warn you of financial extortion in the lobby!!!!!!!
One of my favorite hotels ever. I love everything about it! Friendly staff, amazing free breakfast (a lot of variety, the eggs with melted cheese were awesome), a great conference room, free wifi, really nice rooms, comparatively big fridge and microwave which are very convenient, and a very beautiful pool area with nice plants. I LOVE this place!!
Clean, recently remodeled motel with a nice pool area and excellent breakfast buffet. I especially liked that they had a popcorn machine, cookies, punch and coffee in the lobby. It was a nice touch. My only complaint was the rude front desk reception who first ignored my entrance but evidently acknowledged me with “Yes?” in a bothered tone. I would highly recommend teaching the staff how to greet guests properly.
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The room upgrades are so nice and the pool is always clean!!!
When did this hotel start with the $250.00 incidental fee? Is it even for reward members? Certain tiers? Why is this location doing this? I have been going here annually for several years as a mini stay. I think this is steep. I know it is returned, but how long to you have to wait to get it back?
The hotel is obviously pushing through renovation. The attention to detail is noticeable. Had a great visit despite the on-going work (improvements) around the property. I am fascinated with aviation and the frequent flyover, touch and go, training excersize is exhilarating to experience. Maybe not for everyone but we certainly enjoyed the air show.
Employees walked right into the room while we were resting. No knock they had a copy of our key. Felt very unsafe. Locked anything valuble in our car.
Nice clean area, outside area well lit, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, hot tub and great pools, even small enough for little kids, love the patio tables and BBQ grills. Staff very polite and friendly. Wonderful hotel!!
While traveling across county with my dog I stayed at the Best Western Seaway Inn. My room faced the pool area. Each time I stepped out of my room, I felt I was in a tropical resort. The plants were plentiful and the pool was large. The room was clean and comfortable. The full hot breakfast was excellent. It was a great stay.
Celebrating our 12th anniversary . Wanted to do something different. We traveled from Gulfport , Mississippi to Biloxi ,Mississippi and had a good time . The distance between them 20 minutes apart was great for sightseeing . We really enjoyed ourselves .
The Best Western motels we've stayed at have always provided the best breakfasts. They don't leave me wanting to stop off for a sausage muffin with cheese like the cereal/fruit/waffle motel breakfasts do. Rooms are clean and well equipped. I just wish they all allowed the guests access to the HDMI ports on the TV so we can plug in a Roku stick and stream our shows, The cable offeings are pretty dismal. The Seaway Inn checked off all the boxes we want in a motel that is a compromise between price and amenities/service. It pretty much mad us to decide to stay in Best Westerns from now on.
Hotel has been renovated and is really nice. My suite was beautiful! Staff were nice and food was great and plentiful! Will stay again!
The room was clean and looked to be newly updated. Our issue was people hanging out and yelling for hours in the middle of the night along the sidewalk outside of our room. Quiet hours should be enforced.
Construction noise on roof above room made it unoccupiable after 8 am. Staff did not warn us of how loud the noise would be. They just pointed to a sign on the front desk that said construction was being done with some noise. The line above it said the hot tub was being worked on.
I've stayed at this hotel every time i'm in the area. It is a very excellent hotel. The staff treat ya more like family than a customer, they are friendly & professional. They are willing ot help ya any way they can & will answer any questions ya may have. The rooms are all ways clean & very comfortable. the new renovated rooms are awesome & they are still renovating . They are also redoing the hot tub. The breakfast was excellent, good choice of food. all ways clean area .the staff are very friendly & willing to help ya if ya need help. The hotel is in great location. Easy off & on I 10. & close to many attractions.
This is a nice, clean and very reasonable place to stay.. It's very convenient to lots of things to do and places to go. Can't beat it for location or amenities. It's not a new place but it's always clean and ready when I need it.
This hotel was convenient to the interstate as we were just passing through on our way to Texas. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with more selections than other places we have stayed.
Convenient to the highway, clean and comfortable. Super cute hotel. Would love to go back when warmer and swim in the pool which was really nice. It's a great aesthetic and It's a nice area for a couple day trip.
We stayed at the Seaway to and from our trip to Austin (22 and 26 Dec). It is an older property, yet it has been very well maintained. I found the beds perfect my sleep requirements (firm mattresses, soft pillows, every comfy. I used the exercise room, and all the machines were well maintained and in good working order. The room was clean. The breakfast was hands down the best I have seen and enjoyed compared to my Hilton and IHG brand experiences. And the dining room and lobby appeared to be refurbished. The dining room was carpeted and clean and was beautifully appointed and clean. I accidentally left a small cooler in the bedroom frig, and housekeeping turned them in and the hotel called me for disposition. I told the hotel manager that the Seaway has won my loyalty because of its staff's honesty and thoughtfulness to call me.
Let's start by mentioning that this location is in the flight path of the airport, so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. This is not the place. The rooms are average, carpet was so dirty it was sticky. And the breakfast buffet doesn't have much in the way of healthy food options. Is mostly SAD (standard American diet) food. You hear all the noise from the outside breezeway's and parking lot, so the hooping and howling of the night owls will be sure to keep you awake. If these are the types of things that appeal to you, then this will be your perfect place to stay.
Lovely, friends, helpful staff, clean room and the best breakfast with the most choices of any Best Western we've stayed at. It was a great location, easy to get to and lots of restaurants and shops very close by.
I stopped in Gulfport on a long road trip from North Carolina back home to Texas. I haven't had much luck in the past with the lower end motel/hotel chains and I thought I would give Best Western a try. I had stayed in Best 'Westerns in the 70's and 80's but it had been forever. The room was clean, priced well, had a microwave & frig, and a working A/C and TV. Bed was comfortable and good pillows. I was pleasantly surprised. I needed an early start and went to the breakfast buffet at 6:00 a.m. the next morning. Best breakfast I have had at one of the "free breakfast" chains and it had an attendant keeping everything clean and stocked. The desk staff were attentive, competent, and friendly. I am already looking forward to my next road trip!
Was the perfect stay for a short getaway! Staff is friendly, hot tub was awesome. Only issue I could say I had was breakfast wasn't that great. I would suggest this location to everyone who wants a decent place in the area
The room was clean. The dining and housekeeping staff were very nice and very professional. I was given a room on the back side of the hotel - a long way to the reception area. My family stayed in a room close to the reception area. Overall I had a good stay.
I only booked with Best Western Seaway Inn once prior to this past week. Back in 2019 this place was awesome to it surprise. I mean from the bedding the floor the bathroom i mean everything was nice and for a good price. Ok Fast forward to this last weekend i was a late arrival which i made sure to note it before they charge my card or cancel my booking. Up on my arrival i drive around the lot my first reaction was ass H** i instantly regretted booking. Oh well i get out and walk into the front entrance to check in and it was very nice in the lobby my inner thoughts screamed with excitement lol. Ms Ma'am decides to check me in and proceeds to say I'm in the bottom floor i was awww h** this room is about to be trash lol so i asked her was it cleaned and up to date? She said yes and some remodeling has been done. I leave to go see and too my surprise the room was awful i instantly upset but it late and only for one day so i dealt with it. The beds are horrible the carpet stinks and haven't been cleaned in forever the ac knobs was broken the lamps didn't work like it was so much wrong i also took pictures. The next morning they was beating in the door at 10:45 for me to check out when check time is at 11am so i called front desk to let her i will be leaving in a few she decided to to tell me it'll be a $25 dollar charge plus tax if i don't be gon at 11am. I won't book here again oh and i not if they save your cards on file for past booking i thought i used my debt card and notice they charged my Capitol one card. DONT BOOK HER UNLESS YOUR ON A BUDGET ABD EXPECT A BS ROOM
I had 2 different rooms. Both were dirty and the carpets hadn't been vacuumed or shampooed for a very long long time! The disability room had very dirty and cracked wheel chair accessible shower floor! Both rooms were never cleaned properly. The liens also were stained and not washed properly! Internet was intermittent. Never stay here again!
This Best Western Seaway Inn was very marvelous. Breakfast was fantastic!!!! I can compare this Best Western to The Driskill in Austin, Tx, Best Western had a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, $15 pet fee, an amazing complete free breakfast including chicken with peppers and onions, gravy, cheese omelet scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, juice, pancakes etc. The Driskell: coffee pot, $100 pet fee, no free breakfast, no fridge, no microwave, $30 mac and cheese, $55 daily valet fee, but it did have an empty liquor cooler.
This was an end of summer trip for my daughter and I before she delivers baby number two. We had an amazing getaway and cannot wait until the new baby arrives so we can come back for a few more days just to get away.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is about 30 mins from the beach. Has a Wendy's basically in the same parking lot. Parking is shared between hotels. The lobby was beautiful. However, what they do not tell you is that you are so close to the airport that you can actually see planes landing down the road. So when you are inside your room, basically the entire room shakes. It is extremely loud and woke me up several times as well as made it difficult to go to sleep. They do not tell you that the walls are thin and you can hear everything in other rooms and outside windows. Also they do not tell you that the remodeling budget went to the lobby. My room was dirty when I got in at 7pm. There was hair that did not belong to me on the floor. Looked like the plug for the ac unit had caught on fire recently. Crack in the selling above, which is a bit alarming if you are on the bottom floor. That doesn't include the room itself coming a part. I would not stay again. It is over priced at the rate I stayed on a discount. I did call and let the front desk know, nothing was done about it.
Very clean, easy check-in,everything in working order, pleasant staff good security beautiful grounds. Breakfast, good food and lots of variety. Sausage gravy is especially tasty. Any concerns were met right away. A very enjoyable stay.
Location of this hotel is horrible! People hanging out side of the room; clerk was not friendly, argumentative and should not work with the public. I would not recommend staying at Best Western in Gulfport Mississippi
Cleanliness in the room was not great, the room had an odor and the plumbing is very bad. Shower clogs and holds water. Room is very old. The beds were pretty good. The staff was very friendly. Slightly overpriced for quality.
Very clean. Very nice. I was pleasantly surprised and will stay there again when I travel though. The pool area is really nice too. East check in and check out. Must say... I don't like that there is a 200 character minimum on this review before it can post it. You might be losing good reviews because of that. Also, I didn't want to join Tripadvisor to leave a review.
I was so shocked at this great hotel. The price was majorly affordable. The pool was the best ever. It was large, 9 foot deep and so clean. The rooms were clean and modern in terms of usb connections and furniture. . The beds were comfortable. I felt safe there with my grandchildren.
The complimentary breakfast and dining area was nice. The room was clean. The staff at the front desk upon arrival were not welcoming. I feel the cost per night is not worth the type of stay they offer.
Good rates but you get what you pay for. The floors in our room were not clean. They did not have blackout curtains as advertised. Rooms have a pull down blind that you can see through from the inside and lets in any light from the outside. We had to hang a beach towel over the window to block some of the light coming in during the night. Poolside sounds good but was noisy and we could hear people coming by. They allow pets and when we got up after our first night we discovered fleas in our room. We promptly packed up and checked out. Thankfully they agreed to refund the second night we had planned to stay without any argument. This is a very old property that they have made a few cosmetic improvements to. The building where the lobby and public areas are looks newer and is very nice but seeing pictures online was very deceptive of what you are actually getting. Would never stay here again.
The staff was pleasant and professional., The room was VERY clean and well maintained. The "blackout" shades were a pleasant surprise that helped with privacy and sleep. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL!
The good - clean, safe, quiet, smoking rooms available, many restaurants, easy to get to interstate, water is hot and pressure is good, ac/heat works great, internet is fast, lots of tv channel choices including 4 hbo, 4 kids channels, baby channel, pets allowed, pool and jaccuzzi (outdoors) set up very nicely, lots of parking, black out shades, decent breakfast (those gals are on it), always 2 attendants at front desk, pets allowed, only heard a plane fly over when outside. The ok - room numbers are confusing, elevators are located in the middle of the courtyard which means more walking than usual, room doors are exterior. Casinos are 20 minutes away, no problem for me but if your trip is for gambling, keep that in mind. The bad - I booked a 2 bed smoking room, on arrival was told only a king bed smoking was available but plainly saw a 2 bed smoking room on first floor that wasn't cleaned. Should've been since I booked days prior. Front desk gal accused me of getting upset about that, I wasn't, just needed a smoking room, however, I had to go to second floor instead of first. Inconvenient at best and another person might've actually been upset. That being said, I wasn't charged more for the king room. Suggestion is to call before arriving to ensure the room you chose is ready. I'll be doing that for my next stay and I WILL stay there again.
What a pleasant surprise after coming from a not so great experience at a Super 8. Clean, friendly, safe. I was very impressed with their staff, and I highly recommend it. Plenty of parking, and an absolutely outstanding breakfast. We've all seen our share of pathetic grab and goes, but this one was a very pleasant surprise.
Upon checking in, our first room (#205) absolutely reeked of smoke. When I called the front desk to ask for a room change, I was met with questions rather than something along the lines of “let me investigate and help you.” After a bit of back and forth, we were offered a new room (#217) which was fine and thankfully didn't reek of smoke, but the shower was covered in black mold. :( All in all, the stay was ok, but it was definitely not great and definitely did not live up to the reviews that can be found regarding this location.
We have stayed here a few times and have been very pleased. We actually go a little out of our way to stay here. The breakfast is well presented, lots of choices and tastes good. The price has been reasonable.
I highly recommend this BW. We stayed here on our way to Florida and it was such a good experience we stayed on our way home. Clean room with all the amenities, decent breakfast, and a very attentive staff. I noticed they even have a small laundrymat as well as a nice business center even though we did use those. Nice pool and hot tub, and beautiful courtyard.
I was disappointed with my most recent stay. This use to be my go to place. My next trip I will be staying elsewhere. Guest should not be given incorrect information that can't be changed upon arrival!
Great place to stop and spend the night, Breakfast was great, found room clean on comfortable. Staff was professional and courteous. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water for the shower! Great experience and highly recommend!
I chose to stay in this hotel due to location and price and I was extremely happy with my room and the facility overall! The staff were exceptionally kind and the continental breakfast was amazing - make sure to get the egg casserole!!
I stayed for one night in November with my dog. Our room was clean, quiet and secure. Check in was quick, I did have a reservation. Located close to Rt. 10. There are Restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.
Don't let the price fool you. Pool/property is beautiful, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic! But what made this hotel stand out was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming from front desk to housekeeping. Breakfast staff felt like friends. Great location and felt very safe. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.
The Best Western Seaway Inn provided us a comfortable room, courteous staff, delicious breakfast and in-room coffee. Our stay was extended due to airline cancellation so we also used the fitness center and laundry. Highly recommend this hotel.
It's okay, the pool area is great, the breakfast is always fantastic, housekeeping is hit and miss. Some days your room gets serviced other days not. Management doesn't get to upset about that, they just give you towels and mumble sorry.
Great stay pet friendly with elevator Great hot tub Excellent breakfast Friendly staff Close to restaurants and casino Pool area has two grills Clean Excellent shower Good pet area Will stay again Thanks Fido stays for this great property
Very friendly, helpful, food was awesome! The staff can't say enough about them from check in to check out everyone had a smile housekeeping staff checked every day to see if we needed anything always smiled also the continental breakfast OMG just awesome! Will stay again for sure!
I use this hotel every time i stay on the coast… it has always showed love to me and i felt comfortable here. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. This is my peace on the coast and i can lay around and chill away from everyone.
We were in Gulfport for Crusin the Coast,. The property was very quiet even though there was a lot of activities going on around us. Quiet Curfew enforced and security on property. I would definitely stay there again.
This is a very nice hotel. It is located very near the Gulfport airport and right off the freeway. There are several restarants nearby as well as a shopping center too. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean
Our handicap room was so small that when then scooter or wheelchair was in the room it was difficult to walk around. Furniture too large and too many pieces for a handicap room. Shower was awful-no water pressure, -no place to put soap/ shampoo etc. Water leaked all over the bathroom floor. TV didn't work right despite battery change, and we were told there was no maintainance available until the next day ( it was 4pm). No clock. Gadget (cobietime unit) with no instructions how to use it. No instructions to leave sign on door for room clean, so nothing done for 2 days. The bright side is the breakfast which was fantastic and the chief "Jay" was super, as was the older white haired woman who kept the dining room clean. It seemed to us that the owners spent alot to present a large lobby, food area and lovely pool area with garden look, and skimped on the outdated , small rooms which were overpriced despite it being and event weekend. The 2 cockroaches in our room didn't help! By the way--we were in the back area??old wing??
This hotel is a great place to stay! Clean rooms, amazing shower, breakfast was out of this world amazing! I will definitely stay again! The only thing that could have been better is patrolling security.
BEST breakfast in town. This hotel is close to everything you would need, Staff are very friendly. When you stay do not get a room in the rear of the hotel unless you like truck/train noise. Other than that this hotel is great all around
Spent 2 nights here. Rooms where clean and comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast buffet with helpful and friendly staff. Good location near outlet center and restaurants. Nice courtyard surrounding pool and hot tub, Will be back here again next time.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable ☺️ had good choices between hot food or cold cereal.. The pool was wonderful. This trip was planned for relaxation and we did a lot of that. This location is close to so many things whether shopping or dining.
They were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was so good. Had an issue but it was promptly resolved by the manager. Very nice to know they cared that much. They all always had a smile. Worth the price
The hotel was great. It was clean and found no body that worked there that was rude. I will be staying again and hope everything is still the same. Location is safe and the pool looks amazing, but I was there for work and missed out.
Horrible and low class hotel, rooms are old and not welcoming. I do not plan to use again or recommend. It's terribly overpriced. Stay away , and not move close. The franchise needs to go and do a a total overhaul.
I booked a room here due to being close to family for a funeral that we attended on the Saturday. Overall of that weekend the most we done at the hotel was sleep at night so we didn't utilize the pool or the breakfast in the morning until the Sunday at checkout. If I would be traveling again in the Gulfport area I would probably stay back at this place because it's convenient and around the area I need to be in.
shower was dirty, foot prints from someone having worn what appeared to be crocs from the pattern left on shower floor. also long black hairs on bathroom floor, we are both blonde. when my wife notified the front desk, they asked why she took so long to notify them of the problem and that they had no house keeping available in the evenings.
I had to cancel my reservation because of airline issues and they still charged me anyway. I had given the travel agency that I booked it thru all documentation pertaining to airline issues and they still would not refund my money>
Best Western really hit it out of the park on this location. We were skeptical because the rates seemed so low. And the outside picture of the hotel posted on the website made it look more like a simple motel. Sure glad we did not pass this place up. IT was 40% cheaper than other Best Western's - but tons better. Both in design and staff. But the real kicker is - they offer a staffed breakfast buffet with real food. Imagine that from a hotel ! Will definitely stay here again.
The staff was very professional and pet friendly, breakfast was great, and the beds were very comfortable. Great value, very close to the Outlet Mall. They had poopy baggies in the dog walking area stands. I believe this was the first hotel I have ever stayed at that actually did.
quick and friendly check-in. room was very clean. outdoor place was great to relax not a lot of noise. pool and hot tub was great after a days work. breakfast was perfect and on time. can't complain all was good.........................................................................................................................................................................
This is a very nice, clean, older hotel. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good and the pancakes were the best. I booked through TripAdvisor, reservations was for 2 queen beds and to get to our room to see we only had 2 doubles. Went to the front desk only to be told they don't deal with thrid party businesses and they did not have any queen rooms available. She apologized but wouldn't give me the double room rate even though I paid for the queen rate, agin because I went through a 3rd party. I also understand with Covid, room cleaning normally doesn't happen, that's fine but after 4 days we ran out of toilet paper. Front desk was out so she paged cleaning, never did receive any and had to go buy some. For the price it is a nice place, just a few things that coused this hotel not to get 5 stars from me.
Overall it was great service. The staff was friendly and listened. The manger no so, but there's always a bad apple in the bunch. I would stay here again. The food was good and fresh. The only downfall was that there was no bacon lol.
Everything from hotel attendants to the hotel room was nothing short of amazing. The breakfast bar was delicious! The pool area was perfect for small kids and bigger kids. We definitely will be back in the near future,
Booked my rooms two days prior directly with the hotel. Was told adjoining rooms were available and so I booked. Arrived to find out our rooms were 5 doors apart and they could only offer two smaller rooms next to each other but not adjoining. Same price. I refused and was told I would still be charged by the owner. Very rude and disrespectful. I would avoid at all costs.
Rooms smelled damp and moldy. Water smelled like sewage. AC not cooling and noisy. Staff was very courteous and professional. The pool was too small and dirty. Environment is not clean. I will not recommend.
Good location, house keeping provided after 4 days, management was great, buffet breakfast that is hot and a wide variety including eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy, fruit, pancakes down side: no extra blankets, sometimes no extra toilet paper
When checking in mentioned that when I booked the room that I had asked for a quiet room. Was told that as they were busy I had to take the room that had been allocated (take it or leave it). Staff not friendly or helpful at all. Treated as a problem not a welcome guest. Breakfast was OK.
Awesome hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were nice, pool area is nice. The pool is a no smoking are but surrounding that is not. The entire area is filled with people constantly smoking. The pool side rooms are where tables are setup and people constantly smoke and it goes into the rooms. Amazing hotel, bad experience.
we really enjoyed this hotel - ground floor is the best! They offer a great full hot breakfast. The beds are very comfy and the pillows are perfect! The staff is helpful and friendly and the AC works great! This hotel is in the airport flight path so when in the pool you get some very up close views of the planes, but it did not bother us in our rooms at all.
Check in was very quick. They were super friendly. Breakfast was hot and very good. Pool and jacuzzi area was very clean. My room was nice and clean. Laundry room was also nice and clean. Very good hotel.
Everyone who worked here were very nice, the breakfast was great and the pool/jacuzzi were very well kept. My only complaint is when you stay longer than one night they do not come to clean the rooms or leave fresh towels and rags you have to go to the office to get more.
I was charged $180 and did not even stay a night at this hotel. My wife and I were trying to have a simple weekend getaway. I booked a non smoking king room on best westerns website. Got to the front desk and was informed my room was a smoking room due to the hotel being out of non smoking rooms. They tried to accommodate by offering a no. Smoking with two double beds. That's not what my reservation was for. So I asked to cancel and was informed I'd be charged for 1 night regardless due to their cancellation policy. I feel they could have not charged me due to the fact I booked a non smoking room but they were out of rooms. Instead they still charged me. While sitting in the parking lot finding a new hotel to stay at I did notice there were planes passing over about every 10-15 minutes that were very loud. After hearing that I'm glad we stayed elsewhere.
Very nice pool and courtyard area. It is relaxing to sit under the umbrella and banana trees. The rooms are nice and clean, but they are exterior rooms. I recommend getting the pool view rooms. Great Breakfast buffet for hotel food. The bathrooms are quite small but overall a good stay.
The staff was not willing to correct an error on my booking, put me in a smoking room when I requested non-smoking, and then wasn't even willing to "try" and make any kind of adjustment or accommodation for me! So my wife and I endured two grueling nights of stanky cigar odor. The room is "called" a suite, but all they've done is put a microwave and small refrigerator next to the bathroom sink! The bathroom is so small, you have to be a contortionist to get through the door past the toilet. The door swings about ONE INCH (no exaggeration) by the toilet. So you have to figure out how to shrink your body down to squeeze your way in past the door and the toilet. The housekeeping staff comes on duty early in the morning, and they come in with loud voices, lots of loud talking and laughing and noise making, while guests are trying to sleep and relax. They showed no consideration for the guests at all. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!
Great place stay, Good Breakfast and the service at the convention center was top notch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The conference center was clean and the staff was on top of the job
This is an older hotel that has been remodeled and is well maintained. The negatives are the rooms have exterior entrances, there is no maid service at all. Additionally although the room was remodeled nicely it was small and very oddly there was not one towel bar to hang a towel on, there were only 2 hooks in the bathroom. the biggest negative was that this hotel is in the flight path of the airport. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and accommodating and their breakfast buffet is OUTSTANDING!
Was asked to leave early and refused to reimburse for the extra days I paid for in advance. I am seeking legal consultation over this matter. To ask a family to leave and don't reimburse them for the extra days that were paid for already seems to be a scam!
You get what you pay for- dirty shower, hair in towels and on top blanket of the bed, no maid service while you're there. You have to go to the front to get extra towels or bathroom supplies. Very loud with the pool being the center of all rooms. Only positives were the breakfast and location.
My favorite part of my stay was the hot tub I did not want to leave it. the rooms were very clean however I wish it was ventilated before I got there because the smell of smoke was overbearing. It was close to all the attractions and did I mention the hot tub.The workers were very nice . Overall it was a great experience. Will go back again
This property is awesome! Last night we had the misfortune of staying at a Super 8 in Mobile. It was filthy with cockroaches and more. I almost cried with relief at the cleanliness of this property in Gulfport and the caring staff! Breakfast was good, towels were clean and fluffy, beds were comfy and clean. I recommend this property 110 percent. You will not regret it!!!
Rowdy party/neighbors/teams that kept us awake all night and called security multiple times. Holes in sheet and pillows. Ask for extra towels and there were only hand towels. Hot tub was broken. They canceled my prepaid reservation I had paid $700 for months in advance. Completely ruined my anniversary.
This is a motel style facility with a courtyard pool. It has been remodeled and upgraded and they didn't cut corners. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave and was tastefully remodeled. The beds were comfortable and the room, bathroom, etc were very clean. The front office building had a nice breakfast area, workout room and office facility. It too was nicely remodeled. The location is right off I-10 and there are a number of good restaurants on the north side of I-10. This is a nice place to stay and has a great breakfast.
This is a loud motel. Workers staying here. Hanging out every night with loud music. Kids playing and screaming everywhere. Hot tub was dirty. Air conditioning did not get cool. Room not real clean. Stains on ceiling and sheets. Bathroom floor sticky. Hotel staff nice. Breakfast is fair. Workout room nice. But probably would not stay here again.
Our stay at best Western seaway was exceptional. Very friendly staff, very clean environment. Great location, it's located directly on the strip with several different restaurant choices, there's the shopping outlet located behind best Western. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We'll definitely be staying again soon.
Never had a poor experience before at a best western. This will be my first. Stayed there because they had an outdoor pool and hot tub. When we got to the pool there was one adult and 7 kids running around ... one kept throwing wood chips into hot tub... which made that gross and unusable... then another parent dropped 4 more kids off and got back in her car and left them their... for hours. When i confronted the front desk that we had left and their were many unsupervised kids their they basically said that they didn't card and would do anything about it. You are given wrist bands when you check in to wear if you go to the pool. Not a single person in the pool had a wrist band. I told front desk about that as well and she made it a point to tell me their was nothing she can do. She did say she would talk with maintenance about getting wood chips out of hot tub. But at that point we were out of pool and weren't going back to deal with dozens of unsupervised kids at a hotel where the staff could care less. Room was nice and breakfast was incredible... front desk lacked problem solving skills, customer support and were useless.
Have tried contacting the hotel manager about a refund on a cancelled reservation that I was charged for anyway. The manager does not answer calls or return messages. I will not be staying there anytime in the future.
We ended up missing our flight and we were looking for a reasonably priced overnight stay. Both of our shuttle drivers were super nice and friendly. The front desk staff could not have been more accomodating. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was excellent and the two ladies taking care of things, cleaning, replenishing, etc did an excellent job. We had an issue with one of our neighboring rooms which the front desk made a call and it stopped immediately. It isn't a 5 star hotel, but it met our needs at the time perfectly and we wouldn't hesitate to go back based on the customer service. Great job to all the staff!
Dirty, loud, and unsafe! Nothing like the listing, don't be fooled. There are plenty of other places in the area to stay that are comparable in price. Air conditioner did not work and made a terrible sound. Room had clearly not been cleaned and linens were dirty. Pillows on bed were square stiffer pillows for couch, not bed pillows. Bed was uncomfortable and broken. Room had a bad odor. We barely slept due to the loud noise all night long and did not feel remotely safe in this spot. Thank god it was only for one night.
Although I have stayed at this location in years past, I was amazed at how clean and nice everything was. Checking in and out was very speedy. The grounds were immaculate and the room was extremely comfortable. The landscaping was perfect. The motel was close to the airport and not too far from the beach. Restaurants, shopping, attractions were nearby. Although early in the season (Mid March), the pool was open and very clean. Workers were everywhere taking care of the grounds and the rooms as well. Best night's sleep I have had in a motel/hotel in a very long time. They offered a full breakfast that looked wonderful, but I didn't take advantage of it.
Outdoor pool and sitting area around it was very nice. Stayed with family and it was nice to have an area to gather outside Hotel is older but nicely updated and clean. Some airport noise but to be expected when located miles from an airport. It did not keep us awake at night
Requested non-smoking did not receive. went to take my shower, there were two very long brown hairs on the wall of the shower. Went to call front desk, phone did not work. Next morning, I complained at front desk to a rude attendant. Was gone all day came back after 5pm, went to our room and nothing had been touched. Went back to front desk and told her our room had not been cleaned. She said on long term stays the rooms are only cleaned every fourth day. We were there for only two days. I hardly call that long term.
Overall this was an awesome place to stay and the breakfast was really good. The room was very clean too. I would definitely stay here again. It is located about four miles from the beach and probably one mile from the Outlet Mall.
My husband and I come here every year for a week to regain some sanity (both of our mothers live with us along with our 3 teens yes I said 3...) We enjoy every second here rooms clean staff is friendly they make the towels look cute. My fave hotel!!
Great room for the family. Price was a bargain. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Suggested great places to eat and see.The only drawback of the facility is the access to the parking lot, and the front door
Room was extremely cramped and only slightly larger than the bed. There was only one surface to put all our things. Mattress was lumpy as were the pillows - neither of us got a good night's sleep, which is the main reason to stay in a hotel. In addition, the smoking area was right outside our room and people were talking loudly even at 2 and 3am. While I realize this is not the fault of BW, the location of a communal smoking area should be more remote. There was no towel bar by the sink to hang towel or washcloths. The price was much too high for the quality of this room. There was good TV and good wifi. Parking right outside door for the first floor. Breakfast was surprisingly quite good with many choices which is why they got 2 stars instead of 1. We stay at Best Westerns frequently and this was the worst Best Western we have ever stayed at. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here and I would never return.
Room was really gross. Dust and hair everywhere. Bed was so uncomfortable and I have to wipe everything down with Lysol to even feel semi okay in there. Plug ins in wall would not work, neither would lamp. Will never return!!! Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.
Everything was great check-in fast and easy. It was a great surprise to get a hot breakfast and friendly staff. Usually since covid every hotel has bag breakfast. We have a new puppy and brought her with us was glad they put us in a section where other people had dogs too.
I really like this facility there's plenty of parking for big rigs they have their own lot. I also like that for right around a hundred bucks I was able to get a room with an in-room jacuzzi amazing value
We booked this hotel because it allowed pets and was close to the hospital my sister-in-law was in. It was amazing. Comfy beds, clean room, great breakfast, friendly staff. My dad cannot walk real well.. They made sure we had a room on the first floor near a handicap park as well as allowed us to take him breakfast to the room. Speaking of breakfast - hot breakfast of sausage, eggs, bacon, biscuits, with gloves and hand sanitizer and every precaution you could take. The staff serving breakfast were joyful and so sweet. The staff at the entire hotel was truly amazing. My brother who has been staying at the hospital with his wife was grateful to get a night way from the hospital, see his dog, and be able to do his laundry at the onsite laundromat. Honestly, I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and this one is definitely one that will stand out. We are planning to go back to see my sister-in-law this weekend and will book again.
Clean and comfortable., easy to access from our car. The breakfast room followed Covid protocol and the ladies serving the buffet style breakfast were friendly, and gave excellent service..breakfast included many choices, eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, fruit ..definitely a great place to stay. Our room was next to the pop machine so it was a bit noisy in early evening…but we still had a great sleep
We love the location, price, staff, and breakfast. There are many restaurants and stores nearby. There are also many things to do thst are nearby. It is a good, clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff that is quite reasonanbly priced.
My son and I came to Gulfport to see the Mississippi Aquarium and booked BW of our previous experience with them. The room was great but it was non smoking and smelled like smoking, so I don't know about that. They serve an absolutely wonderful breakfast and I would definitely book again if we are ever back on the coast except make sure it was indeed a non-smoking room.
Was down for work working on the coast and the staff at this hotel made my visit so much better. They were the nicest people I have ever interacted with. They made me feel at home and were never hesitant to help me when I asked for it. Absolutely amazing customer service. Exceeded my expectations. The ladies at the front desk were honestly the nicest and most helpful hotel staff I've ever worked with as well. Tanaira R. Sarah F. Julie H. All amazing people definitely will be recommending this hotel to friends and family.
Front desk staff were polite and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained.. Breakfast area was well stocked, and staff were attentive and polite. This hotel offered a hot breakfast and delivered. Location is easy to get to and just a couple minutes from the beach
It was pleasurable enough that I will definitely return. They had a 9ft deep pool and a hot tub and they were both open! It was perfect. We were there because my brother was proposing that night and being able to relax in the hot tub me my boyfriend my brother and his now fiance being able to just relax and help him clear the jitters this place was the perfect place
I have stayed at this hotel on a previous trip to Gulfport. It is pet friendly which is important and I like to drive in to New Orleans on Hwy 90 so you are right there. It's clean, the staff is so nice, and they offer a full breakfast, which is rare nowadays!
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was a nice stay for such a low rate. The only issue that you might have is that it's close to the airport and you can hear the planes coming in. Other than that, this is definitely a very confident place to stay. You will love that it's next to the Outlet Mall if you are a shopaholic like myself!
For the first time staying at a hotel, I needed a pet friendly one and the hotels I usually book didn't have any close by in Gulfport, MS. So I checked and found Best Western and was happy I did. It's a small inn, not much security though never felt unsafe. Polite and kind staff, complete breakfast included and comfortable room with two double beds, fridge and microwave. Of course, my dog heard every single noise and barked a lot, but it was comfortable for him as well (as much as you can tell from a dog). The hotel's location is convenient, close to a Waffle House, gas stations and about a quarter mile from I-10. My only "pet peeve" is the excuse all hotels are using for not freshening up the rooms, make the beds, etc, due to COVID. Don't buy it, we're not in the room and I saw staff cleaning out other rooms guests had checked out of without masks. Anyway, will most likely book again when returning to MS.
First trip to Gulfport in 20 years Was really looking forward to a great week. Told breakfast was to be an experience. Lazy time reading by the pool or garden. The one time I walked half way around the complex to read All I could hear was the help hollering from top floor back and forth. Finally went bad to my dungeon and finished my book in our dark room
I had a great experience the night hotel staff went above and beyond for me. They greeted me and helped me with anything I needed. They also give you a parking pass to let the staff know who is supposed to be on the property and that made me feel safe. The room was very clean and had everything I needed for a great stay. The bed was amazing and very comfy I was very refreshed the next day. Most hotels I do not feel very safe at especially being a young female but the overall security was great someone was always at the front desk and I saw staff walking the property which made me feel even safer. I will be staying at the Best Western seaway Inn in Gulfport,MS from here on out. Lots of praise and thanks to the Front Desk Night night attendents great job guys and keep up the good work
We stay at this hotel when we visit our daughter and grandsons. We have always been impressed with the cleanliness, the great breakfasts, and the friendly staff. We make sure when we go to Gulf Port we always stay at this hotel. We have never been disappointed!
Rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and breakfast was okay. You could tell that the hotel was doing updates on some of the rooms, but the one we stayed in was nice and comfortable. There is plenty of eating establishments close by or within a short driving distance.
Been staying here for a couple years. Always clean and friendly staff. This last stay I had was no different with one exception. The two ladies in the lobby that checked me in where very friendly and extremely helpful. Very professional and I think they deserve acknowledgment.
I had a late check in and they were more then happy to accommodate that for me, and also made check in quick and easy. The room was excellent, and clean too! The bed as extremely comfortable and slept so great. Was worried being so close to the airport but never heard a one! Peaceful!
Staff was very courteous and friendly. Check in was fast. Full breakfast served daily. Very diligent about sanitizing. Rooms were clean. Grounds and pool area is beautiful. About 3 miles to beach and and 20 min to Biloxi. Close to outlet mall… We had a wonderful stay and throughly enjoyed the hotel and all the amenities
Being a travel nurse, I have to be able to live comfortably on a budget. With COVID cases increasing it is always nerve wrecking when you check in and out of rooms. I 've been staying at the Best Western since the beginning of September, and I am pleased with the way staff listen and makes every effort to accommodate you, and resolve any concerns you have. I met Tina on my 3rd week, and she listened to me, and booked all my rooms out to the end of October, helped me become a Rewards member and put me in a room that was easily accessible for me, and my colleague because we leave early in the morning and return late in the evening. It meant alot that she listened and followed through. Thank you Tina.
The staff were all so professional and courteous. The property was very clean with comfortable rooms. It wasn't a 5Star upgraded property but it was very very nice and convenient to a lot of shops and restaurants. Clean and very professional staff. I will stay here again
Exceeded my expectations in every way. Lobby and rooms were clean and modern. Full hot breakfast was offered and was good. ALL staff were friendly and helpful, especially LG at the front desk. I was a 50s woman traveling alone, and felt very safe. Parking lot is well-lit, in decent area. Convenient to I-10.
I stayed here with my 2 dogs when we evacuated after hurricane Ida. The rooms smelled fresh with no pet odors and were clean. I was lucky to be in the back near the pet walking area that was well maintained. The air conditioning worked great and it was quiet inside. I extended my stay when I couldn't go home and some nights were $50 more per night. I hadn't asked, but they didn't tell me either.
We stayed in August….our double bed room had a lot of space, comfy bed and fluffy towels…The breakfast had a wide selection of food even during Covid and hurricane Ida….the staff especially Tiffany were very helpful and kind….
Black mold in the pool. Room was very dirty. Very dirty surfaces. Furniture had to be covered to sit on it. I'm not sure what is going on here? I've stayed here several times over the past 30 years, it has always been outstanding but this time was a total disaster!!!
First time staying @ a Best Western and was pleasantly surprised , Very clean and very friendly staff , I will most definitely stay here again. Bedding was excellent and it is right off the highway. Waffle house and Circle K are right there if you need something.
Front Desk Associate Was Extremely Nice, She Explained Everything & Made Me Feel Welcomed, Our 2 Bed Queen Room Was Very Nice & Clean, Our Air Conditioner Was Turned On So Our Room Was Cold, Beds Were Comfortable
The first room they gave us smelled of urine and mildew. The second room was better. On the second we came back from the beach to find that our room smelled of marijuana. Went to front desk to complain and they said they couldn't do anything even though we knew what room it was coming from because we only had people on one side of us. The only thing they could do inconvenience us and move us to a different room with smaller beds. There was never a manager available to deal with anything. Breakfast was the exact same thing all 3 days we were there. There was a really sweet young lady at the front desk on the second and third day but that's the only positive.
the facility was very clear the staff was extremely professional and courteous. the pool and hot tub were very nice, very clean. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I am a diamond select member for a reason
Was alittle worried when we seen security out front, but had a great conversation that made us feel like it was safe. There (according to him) are homeless people in the area and they keep the "rift raft" away. We never seen one. We only stayed one night as we were passing through. The breakfast was amazing. It was a $15 breakfast. Great to save, especially if you have a family. The outdoor stationery grills were a great surprise. Lots of tables inside and outside pool gated area. Also upstairs on the other floors.
I had a quick business trip last minute and not many rooms available in the area so I booked here fingers crossed and it turned out great. I had a king jacuzzi suite and I enjoyed my time visiting the area. Breakfast buffet was good as well. Due to Covid I took mine back to my room instead of hanging out in the breakfast room. You can also sit at a table they have set up in several areas outside. Staff were all friendly with no issues at all. I had an easy check in and check out. I would stay here again. Yes you will hear planes from time to time as you are near the airport. I wish the pool had opened earlier than 10 as we had heat warnings for the day. Other than that it was a great stay.
We have a peaceful time there thanks for the good service an cleanest of the room. We enjoyed our stay an will most definitely be back.it was cosest,we sleep well, thanks for the great experience my husband and I needed the time
Friendly and welcoming staff. Always felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Breakfast was wonderful. It exceeded my expectation. Nice area for poolside rooms. No harassment when early check in was needed.
Both rooms had a smell and spider webs on walls, breakfast staff were rude and did not want to help you, too many people in the pool, landscaping was beautiful though. Located next to lots of food joints and shopping.
Family trip, fun and vacation, we enjoy the pool and the hot tub, and kids pool. One thing need was a LIFE GUARD. The breakfast food was good just needed more bacon,, the workers were drilling a door early in the morning.
The room we was in had dirty liens stacked in the closet. The room was very moist and humid. And let's not forget they had a special going giving away fleas. I know fleas are expected where animals are present and that's ok. But I feel that once a guest checks out that the rooms need to be sprayed for fleas before allowing next guest in that room.
Kudos to Housekeeping for keeping these rooms clean regularly. As a former director of housekeeping. Everything was clean including the AC filters. The floors could've been better, we didn't have a shower curtain liner and didn't have an adequate amount of towels for double rooms. Those are minor issues that can be addressed fairly easy by calling front desk. That I can look past but are things I check every where that I stay. I was impressed with how clean the bathrooms were in room 116 & 114 as well. Definitely noticed the cleanliness of this hotel. Everything had been freshly wiped. The breakfast is a big plus. The food had good flavoring, plenty to eat. The morning front desk agent was polite & professional. The Lobby was clean with a welcoming feel to it. Housekeeping was quick to bring us towels when we asked for more from front desk. The rooms could use some touch ups from maintenance/engineering. I originally was going to rate this hotel a 3 based on appearance only. However after staying I noticed how nice this hotel actually is. Yes it can use some touch ups paint wise & slight mold damage control in the bathrooms need to be addressed. I love the fact that this is such a family environment. I throughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Great location for what we were here for. My daughter had a great birthday. My kids loved the pool. I left a tip under the lamp for the room attendant who cleans the room when we check out at 11:00am. I would definitely stay here in the future. Again great job housekeeping staff! I wish I knew their names I'd give them the credit they deserve. We had a great stay. Thank you to all the staff.
We stayed the weekend of a big event so maybe a normal weekend would be better But we were delayed three times checking in we pre checked in online for 2-4 but rooms were not ready until around 9. There were other guest that partied outside there rooms tell past 1 in the morning with loud music and drinking no security present after hours but before 10 they were walking round harassing people about music on A Bluetooth speaker by the pool
Last minute trip to Biloxi. Saw the Best Western in Gulfport and booked it. The room was spotless clean. I have my own cleaning company. I clean houses daily. I pick every hotel room apart when I arrive lol the only think I saw was a lil bit of dust on the fan in the bathroom. Our night sleep was quiet. We were pool side. The pool was great. BBQ grills and sitting areas for adults. Check in was very easy. They did serve breakfast but we did not eat. Will stay at the hotel again.
I did not expect BW to be the same quality that I receive at Marriott and IHG locations but previous BW experience included clan, neat rooms and quality staff. This location had none of that. The carpet was not been vacuumed prior to our arrival. I asked the front desk to have housekeeping vacuum. First I was told they don't clean during a stay, then I was told housekeeping was too busy. Arrangements were made to have the room vacuumed the following day. Never happened. Worst stay in a long time
The room was ok upon check-in. The next morning we notice all of the hair left in the shower by housekeeping. Then we saw the roach in the upper wall corner and another scurry under the refrigerator. We told the front desk upon checkout, and even showed them pictures of them. They did not seem suprised and said they would notify the manager and housekeeping. No apology was even offered.
Stayed for one night. Called the front desk to report dirty underwear in the bathroom and a dirty pillow. The sent security with plastic gloves who said he was not allowed to enter the room, but brought gloves so I can remove the items.
This property was clean and orderly. We loved that the pool was private but we were still in the sunshine and had a nice view. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had 1 minor issue with our blow dryer at about 10 pm and the maintenance guy was there promptly to fix the issue. Very satisfied with our experience!
Thought this was a nicer hotel based on internet pictures and reviews. You get what you pay for is true for this hotel. Guests were loud and rowdy around the pool. Had gnats flying around in room Was glad this was just a quick one night stay.
We stayed at this hotel for the horse show in Gulf Shores. It was very nice and clean, it just needs a Change of mattresses, Great breakfast though. The staff was friendly and helpful for all of our needs.
The pictures of the hotel made it look safe & pretty. The pool area was nice but the rooms are outdated, dingy & tiny. I did not feel safe as there was a man sitting in his car for over an hour just watching. He could have been innocently waiting for someone but as a woman traveling alone, it made me feel uncomfortable. I had to change rooms as the first one had something wrong with the air conditioner. I ended up leaving & checking into the Holiday Inn next door where I felt completely safe & comfortable.
Rooms were nice, comfortable. All of the staff (front desk, housekeeping, shuttle) were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. I traveled with my dog, and the hotel was very pet friendly.
So, hubby took me to the Hot Air Balloon festival in Foley Alabama. We could not stay there because the hotels were sold out so we decided to spend the night near Biloxi, The closest hotel that still had availability was Best western Sea Way. While it is off of the highway and no where near the beach and their cover photo is fake, it was still a nice place to stay. Not top notch, but room was clean, shower was renovated as well as the mini fridge and vanity area. Bed was comfy, Ac was loud, but I m used to sleeping with noise, I fall asleep to the tv every night. Cant sleep any other way; The check in staff was very nice, the breeakfast staff was also very nice but the breakfast was still a Covid breakfast, Jimmy dean breakfast biscuits which I didnt like, brought the muffine, granola bar and yogurt to work with me today lol. ( Im a teacher). Stay was good for a "lay your head down " place. Parking lot was good, It was packed, every single hotel from Bay St Louis to Florida was JAM packed this weeked. It was ok. All the other reviews about this place are so stupid, IF you want 5 STAR you gotta pay for 5 star ppl!!! It was good enough for me.
Excellent Stay!! The entire property was clean and neat. The staff were friendly, helpful and very responsive. The bag morning meal was exceptional compared to other BW's I stayed at during my trip. They had a varied selection of both hot and cold items. Overall, a very pleasant 5 day stay!!!
There was people smoking weed next to the pool which was lingering around the rooms. I couldn't take my 5 year old out due to the amount of smoke. The rooms were not quite. The AC unit was no loud and didn't work that well either
Our family went for a one night vacation stay. Our room was clearly a smoking room, even though I asked for Non-smoking! I cannot breathe in that! We had homeless people outside and drunk people in the lobby! We asked for our money back and were told no! We did Not feel safe! And we did Not stay!
From check in to check out was phenomenal. The front front desk host were smiling and very accommodating . Because of some pandemic restriction breakfast was limited to a cold or hot bag, which was still great, and the exercise room were off limits. Everything else such as the pool, laundry, and hot tub was still in operational. The rooms were well worth the amount. Each room was spacious, beautiful bedding, and the microwave even had a USB charging port attached!! They way the blocked traffic and diverted it so my students could practice was above and beyond.
Everytime I want a getaway in Gulfport, this is my choice of stay. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Pool is big and clean. Hot breakfast is great but since Covid it is minimal but they do their best. My grandkids love staying here too.
If I could package this place and take it when we travel, I would not hesitate a second. Can not give enough praise here. If you are in the area, do yourself a huge service, stay there, trust me you will leave as I did Loving It !!!!! Breakfast was Good. Tropical pool area. Fluffy comfy beds, and so much more.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was peaceful. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent, our room was so neat and clean. Close to anywhere that we needed to go.
Stayed in room 708 for 3 nights just my husband and I to get away from our kids so I may be a bit bius lol but room was so nice clean smelled clean and very comfy love this hotel! Looking for a getaway look no further!!
room smell like mildew. counter top where the coffee maker and cups are located found hair all over it. This was the only Best Western that I have experienced this. As for breakfast, it was in a bag. Mississippi has a high case of COVIK 19 cases. I have stayed at other Best Westerns and have real breakfast.
Best western can't be beat on price! Rooms have been recently renovated. It's an old property but everything was fine. Front desk was perfect. They explained the Covid breakfast process and we were registered and in our room in no time! Comfy beds and new linens and beds.
The room was very clean, and the outside area was very nice. Big pool with a 9' deep end, hot tub, and kiddie pool. Very spacious room, as well as a very nice sink area in the bathroom with the mini fridge and coffee maker
My wife and I made reservations at the last minute to attend a funeral on the Coast. We always stay at Best Western (Platinum Rewards members). We have stayed at this location in January. Checking and enter the room to a musty odor, floors had dirt, carpet had dirt in corners, refrigerator iced up (solid block). We were going to just accept it because of late hour and our long drive. I decided to talk to the desk. She (Kim) went and checked on a new room just a few rooms down. She asked to give the maintenance man a minute to vacuum. We entered the room still slight odor, two red stains in the carpet (?), refrigerator still has ice problem, hand prints on wall, floor not clean, really! There are several Best Western in this area. They are definitely better. This one was closer to our destination. (Funeral home) Worst experience of any of these hotels, hands down.
Well as soon as I get in my room for the night I have to kill 3 cockroaches and now I'm debating on going elsewhere cause that is unacceptable for any hotel and that made the score drop from 5 to 2 and if anymore little critters come out it will drop even further . Well at least check in was good . I would keep on driving if I were you there are better options on the same road without roaches . I'm kinda afraid to go to sleep now cause I don't want these things crawling in my mouth
Stayed for one night with my 2 German Shepherds after Hurricane Zeta. Didn't have power at my house for a couple of days so we decided to stay the night. The rooms were very comfortable. Hotel is pet friendly. I was placed in a room at the back of the hotel where they have a pet walking area. It was great.
First the good. Convenient location near the freeway and numerous restaurants and shopping nearby. Also near the airport. Friendly desk staff. The bed was comfortable and the room had a good shower and there was ample, free parking. This is an older “ motel style” hotel with the doors to you room opening directly outside. It is very close to the airport so if the noise associated with aircraft landing and taking off potentially could be a problem for you, you probably shouldn't book this hotel or any other hotel in the vicinity of an airport. There WILL be noise. It is to be expected. In addition, There iare also railroad tracks nearby with trains sounding their horn fairly regularly, plus there is also a semi truck parking lot next door that is also noisy so no, this is not a quiet hotel. If I had paid $100 or more for this room, I probably wouldn't be happy, but I didn't. I stayed here for several nights at a discount rate that I thought was a great deal so in the end, I was happy staying here. I assume that due to COVID, the free breakfast consisted of a brown paper bag with a bottle of water, granola bar and a muffin inside. There was no housekeeping service offered during our stay but hey,, COVID. Some more negatives: The hot tub ( which was a reason we chose this hotel over others) was closed so that was a bit of a disappointment. Again, could vid... probably. The room HVAC was pretty noisy ( but at least it worked) and the room could have been cleaner ( you just never really want to see another persons hair in the shower). Bottom line... we expected a 2.5 star hotel and that's what we got. We didn't pay a lot and got out money's worth. Would I stay here again? Probably wouldn't be our first choice but we got pretty much what we expected so it's all good!
We stayed 2 nights at the BW Seaway. Check-in was an absolute breeze. The ladies working the front were fantastic. We travel with a service animal which can be quite daunting in itself. But not here! They were very accommodating & understanding of our need for a 1st floor room. We were even able to check in 2 hrs early. This means a lot to someone who has physical disabilities. Room was nice, wifi was good. Directv was good. Only negative was the room was a bit dusty. Shower had great pressure but the water is soft & I hate the feel of that. Security guard was present throughout the night which was nice also. We had a nice wknd and will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.
We checked in after 10 hours on the road. When we got to the room with our luggage in tow there was a loud constant horn sound coming from somewhere. We asked to be moved. The 2nd rooms door did nit work. Had to make another trip to the front desk. Finally after the 3rd room we were able to get in. Nice enough room. We went right to bed. Next morning we realize there are no towels. Back to the front desk for yet another visit. I told the front desk girl about the towels she stared at me. I had to ask her for towels. There were some awards for customer service on the counter and walls. So I am going to chalk this up as one bad night for them.
Its a best western what do you expect. The only thing is you hear loud planes landing because you're by an airport. There are 2 shades in the room..one completely darkens the window I don't think some people know that because they complained about light coming in
Rented the hotel for one night to go to the casino, arrived at 5 pm. Called the front desk and complained that the sheets were dirty, no toilet paper, and the room smelled terrible (throw up maybe?). They said they would come to the room and clean it while we were gone. When we returned at 12am the room was still the way we left it. Called the front desk was told we would have to move rooms that's all the could do, waited for them to bring a room key for 20 minutes +. When we finally got into the other room it also smelled terrible, like urine! Stayed in a lot of bad hotels but I have never left a review! This one inspired me.
I would not recommend the best Western seaway Inn to anyone in the condition its in now. I have been staying at this hotel for over 23 years. We stayed 2 night. The room smelled like poop, the refrigerator was frozen over , the carpet was wet , there was a dead roach on the counter and to top it off there was dog food under the bed and couch. I had a 1 yr old baby with me so you already know who found the dog food.
I've stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. So I would definitely come back. Its our family go to hotel now. Its in a good location if you want to go to the shopping outlet. And only a few miles from the beach.
The staff are super friendly! Most excellent service! Rooms are newly remodeled & nice. Lots of places to eat nearby. Beach is very close. Super nice pool area with outdoor tables on the second floor overlooking the pool.
No loud music, no alcohol and yet people wheeled out 3 ft speakers and blasted music until 11pm this past weekend. No way to relax or conduct business conversations. I will not ever be back to this motel again, plus with the over crowded pool I do not recommend this place.
This hotel is just ok. Pictures are a little dated so they're a little missleading. Staff was kind and poilite but not caring. This place itself isn't bad but the people who stay here are. Constant partying after the 10:00pm no noise rule almost every night takes a toll. On top of it they allow portable grills within the building so smoke can get pulled through the AC unit and smoke out your room. Repeated calls to the front desk just falls on deaf ears.
We secured the room at Best Western online and were told it included a full breakfast, which was wrong. The room was in need at updating and looked okay, but had a funky door. We decided we could deal with it for one night, but what really got me was when my suitcase knocked against the on the floor air conditioner unit and dust went everywhere. I'm thinking if this room was supposedly sanitized, and they missed that dust filled air conditioner, what else did they miss. I came prepared with disinfectant spray and sanitizer wipes and totally cleaned the room so I felt it was somewhat clean. I told my husband if I was going to catch anything on this trip it would be from that room. The pool was pretty, but not the room. Also, the mattress was awful.
I travel 6hrs from Greenville, SC to attend an event in Gulfport, MS. When I arrived here it was around 12:30am. I got to my room and saw that the bedsheet looked used so I went to the front desk to ask for new bedsheets. I was told that they did not have any more bedsheet so I ended up going to the store and buying my own. The next night I realized that housekeeping never replaced my bath towels so I went back to the front desk and asked for new towels, once again I was told they did not have anymore towels. Not to forget, the room did not appear fully clean and the sink was clogged. I would never come here again. I complained and was told the manager would call me in the evening, but never received a call. Very disappointment. I paid $265 and never received the services I paid for.
My wife and I did not feel comfortable in the neighborhood. The neighborhood did not feel safe. At the hotel there were parties going on in the parking lot. This may have been a one time thing with that group of people, but it was disconcerting to say the least. We drove back through on our way home and opted to stay at another hotel chain for less price and a much better neighborhood.
My friend and I visited this hotel in November, and it was lovely. Quiet, staff was great, comfortable, and the best blackout curtains ever. We needed another quick get away in June, so we decided to go back, and things could not have been more different. Upon arriving, we were told that the room we reserved with the jacuzzi tub was not available. Instead, we were put in a much smaller room, and as we looked around, we realized the curtains were ripped off the wall. Half of the lightbulbs were out. The A/C made a super loud noise. We complained and got switched to another room, which was still small but at least had curtains and a working A/C. We still had to call for lightbulbs. Our stay was two nights, and on the morning of our second day (after our first night) we had housekeeping knocking at our door saying that we were only reserved one night. Which of course was wrong and the front desk had to straighten out. Later that day, we called for a late check out and were told that there was no late check out (we had it the last stay so we knew there was) and that for every hour past 11 AM we were there we'd be charged $25. There were planes that flew over our room and sounded like they were landing on the hotel every morning. It amazes us how two stays could be like night and day. As much as we love their black out curtains (because who doesn't like to sleep till 1 PM?), I don't think we'll be back. We were sorely disappointed.
Let me begin to say this establishment is not even worth the 3 stars that they are given. This hotel is low budget, over rated, and incapable of providing adequate service to customers. I checked in on Friday , June 5th to room 527 located on the back side of the property. However, upon entering the room. The first thing that I noticed was a very visible brown stain on a white cover. Not to mention , the bug that was also crawling on the bed. I have to admit when I brought my concerns to the front desk. They immediately changed me to room 500. Now , this room begun the I'm ready to get out of dodge issues. Everything seemed good to the eye. However, I'm a person that likes to sanitize especially with the pandemic still going on. As I'm spraying the bed down with Lysol, I noticed stains on the sheets, blanket, pillows, hair in the tub. I mean all over the bathroom floor. I took photos and proceeded to migrate to the front desk where I'm basically told that there is nothing they can do but refund me my money because they already changed my room once. Now , I'm 7 hours away from my home. I paid for this hotel weeks before arrival and I had a busy schedule ahead of me. I basically had no choice because I had a meeting in less than 30 minutes at this point. Glenda the manager looked at me like I was crazy when I asked could I just have a throughly cleaned room because apparently the linens had not been changed in neither room. She proceeded to tell me in so many words that I take a refund or deal with what I have . Rude right? Ok, let's proceed to the point where I purchased my own linen for the room because it was less havoc than trying to run all over the city looking for a new room. As I'm walking in the room from dinner, low and behold I see a roach walking up the wall. Nasty ‼️ I kill it then call the front desk because I'm beyond pissed off at this point. Now, I'm like whew just a two more nights . Then, I open the closet door to put my bag in and low and behold I find a dead roach in the corner. At that point, I checked out and found another hotel. This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever experienced. The management team has no regard about anything. The house keeping team doesn't actually change the linen either. I saw them pick the linens up and just remake the bed when so called cleaning the room in several rooms as well. So BEWARE! Find another hotel in the AREA. This one SUCKS! Unprofessional! Nasty! And the worse place to stay!
The rooms looked brand new. The check in was fast and the clerk suggested a good seafood restaurant. The breakfast was better than you usually get at most motels. The location was right off the interstate, which was convenient.
I am upset with myself for not staying here more. This will all change as this is now my go to for business and pleasure trips. Service, valve, comfort, is above and beyond what was expected. Looking forward to many more stays
We have stayed here before but this time was so much worse..first of all when we entered the room we found dirty towels on the back of the bathroom door and then saw hair along the wall in the bathroom..the next morning we found used coffee pod in the coffee maker, gross ..our drinks we put in the refrigerator were frozen even after we turned it down. We had one tiny trashcan and on our 3rd day it was overflowing cuz no one bothered to clean our room..We came back from a long day out and the beds were not made we had no clean towels..Seriously it was way worse than I am saying on here but I am just hitting the highlights..after this experience we will not be returning to this Best Western ever!
We first chose this location because we were traveling with our dog, and wanted something nice, convenient and not too pricey. We have stayed in the Biloxi area many times, but were just passing through for one night on this trip. Great value for the price. Comfortable and close to everything. Breakfast great. Airplanes pass right over, but we were not bothered.
We stay here every time we go to the coast. I love the kind, friendly, sweet staff that greet us as if we're family. You'll find everything you need in close distances near this hotel. They include breakfast and for your convenience has smoking and non-smoking rooms available. I can't say enough about the amazing housekeeping staff that go out of their way to help you in every way. Plus... you'll see familiar faces each time you return.
The lobby and breakfast area were very nice and what you see when you check in. Then you go to your room and we were put at the very back of the property and I was awakened a little after 5am hearing a plane fly overhead so now I know why I was given ear plugs when we checked in. Overall room was so-so and was surprised as most of the reviews I read made it sound like the rooms were going to be much better. Breakfast did provide some good options but not sure I'd stay here again.
This hotel was wonderful! The staff was kind and pleasant and they made sure I was accommodated! Their breakfast was awesome---A+. The kitchen crew stayed visible with a smile, making sure that everything stayed fully stocked! The only thing that I would warn others about is that i was in room 103, for some reason early risers congregated in front of my door, like they were holding meetings of some sort! Maybe because the room is right around the corner after the lobby! I would skip rooms 103, 101, and 105 if you are a late riser! I did not ask to be moved, but I'm sure that the staff would have moved me, I didn't see it as a real concern since i was getting up early anyway for their scrumptious breakfast! *Their free airport shuttle is quick
Our stay at Best Western was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was an added bonus. The price was also very reasonable as I shop around. This hotel is convenient to shopping and resturants.
Right off the runway. I have videos of the jets just overhead. Every 5 minutes for hours. Both commercial and military. It was fascinating for the first few planes. Also, our room smelled like old smoke. Yes you do get used to it after a while, but our clothes absorbed the smell so we travelled with it for a while.
This hotel is comfortable and clean . The room was spacious. The breakfast was very good. We stayed here traveling to Texas and used BW Rewards so it was definitely a good value. All of the rooms are outside rooms more like a motel but we were very pleased with our stay.
This was my first time staying at this Best Western. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. The room was clean and everything worked, I didn't have any complaints. The breakfast was also great. I will probably stay at this location again.
A great place to stay next time your in Gulfport. Friendly staff, nice rooms, clean everytime. Pool for when its summer and you want to cool off. Great contintenal breakfast with healthy options aswell.
We have been staying at this hotel for many years while traveling between Florida and Texas. The staff has always been great. Even during the extensive renovations we stayed with you. Now the hotel is even nicer!!
I will stay there again . Employess were nice great customer service from check in to check out. Breakfast was hot fresh and good. The room were good clean and nice comfortable. Sheets were clean and soft. Hand dryer was also great.
I would not wish to stay anywhere else when I visit Gulfport. Best Western Seaway has always been our go-to. I'm sure one could find a better motel for a much higher rate, but for the money, this hotel is at the top of the list. They are pretty darn good quality for some with a modedt spending budget.
Stayed at several Best Western properties during my travels between Tampa, Fl and Houston, Tx and this was definitely my best experience. Gulfport has a lot of varied activities and dining experiences to explore and enjoy, and the Seaway Inn is a great place to relax.
The cleanest and the best scenic hotel I have stayed in yet. The breakfast was wonderful. The best continental breakfast I have ever eaten. The rooms were also the best with everything from design and furniture.
Very clean property, good customer service, great hotel price. I enjoyed my stay and front desk has the best customer service and enjoy the complementary breakfast. Also, I love the location easy access to casinos.
Room great, love the ones where you park at the door. Accepted our little Yorkie. Breakfast was fine normal things you see on most buffets. Very friendly front desk, moved us to a downstairs room and non-smoking room. Would stay here again.
There are very few hotel that allow you to travel with your pet. Best Western has a small pet fee to accommodate guest with pets. Other hotels I have called have $50.00 non refundable pet fee. Which was more than the room rate there. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was perfect. Clean and close to the dog run for walking your pet. Location was perfect acess back to interstate. There were plenty of Resturants right around the hotel. I will stay here again when traveling to Florida. Thanks Best Western
Beautiful courtyard. Nice pool and hot tubs. Comfortable rooms. Took the air a while to cool the room but once it did, it was fine. Lots to choose from at breakfast. Loved the Kuerig in the Lobby! Great Value!
I have visited this particular location several times and as always it's a pleasure to be here. Staff is always on point and friendly. From my room to breakfast every morning....it's delightful. Keep up the good work!
So reasonably priced and about 20 minutes from the casinos and 5 minutes from the airport. Nice, clean room, everything was updated, complimentary breakfast was good. Over all much greater than I anticipated for such a low price. Way more then I expected. Will definitely visit again.
check for cockroaches in your room. desk service was good ,food was good. rooms could have been cleaner .Lobby was clean. Location was fair.noise was fair, parking space was right in front of room.!!!
We stayed here on our way to Florida. The hotel room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. There were good breakfast choices. They have a nice business area with computers and a printer available. There are numerous restaurants nearby.
Check in was fast & also the check out was fast. Beds were comfortable just the bathroom was a little small but manageable. Breakfast was very good. I would come back again. I stayed on the ground level. Easy access to many restaurants & the mall. And the beach is also close by.
This is the best Best Western I have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly & welcoming. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the free breakfast had more selections than most Best Westerns and delicious.
I feel I must share that this facility is more than two miles from beachfront. I had assumed it was closer. However, we were never sorry we chose this place. Our room opened onto the pleasant interior court featured in motel pictures. That's a quiet area and very comfortable. There was noise from some of the aircraft that left from the nearby airport, but not enough to bother us. There was a large laundryroom, excellent breakfast every morning, and gracious staff people. We spent three nights and enjoyed them all!
This hotel goes out of its way to ensure the Cruisin the Coast participant / spectator has a great hotel experience. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms provide everything you would need. There is plenty of parking for your cars, as well as trucks and trailers. They provide security overnight for all cars, trucks and trailers.
Nice midweek shopping trip in spite of the rain. The Best Western Seaway Inn was conveniently located and a good value. Window view was a concrete wall and could not even see if raining. I had requested poolside.
I was here for an event that spread across both the Best Western and the Holiday Inn next door. I found for the rate I really could not complain. Room was a little small but well maintained. Breakfast was great with lots of choices from pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, fruits to choose from. Something for those reading this review, yes you are in the flight path of an airport, Yes some of those jets landing and taking off is loud but it seems there is no air traffic between 10pm and 6am. At least I didn't hear anything.
Service was great with a greeting that couldn't be beat. Location is in the middle of everything you could ever want or need. We had 2 rooms, 2 different bed accommodations, and she put them close together, but was willing to move them if we needed to change floors. Great and accommodating place!
I ordered room "non-smoking double queen bed" for one night using Best Western website. I arrived to the hotel around 8pm and the desk manager told me that the room I ordered is smoking room and he cannot change it to non-smoking room because no room left at my rate. I tried to talk with him with no success, his answer was "I can cancel your order with no charge". I didnt want to start look for other places so I had to agree for addition cost to get non-smoking room. The room we recieved was with two full size bed instead of queen. The bed was so small and uncomfortable we couldn't sleep all night. And if all of the above is not enough, the A/C made noise like tractor ... The only positive thing to say on this hotel is the breakfast, plenty of food, clean and tasty. I'm Best Western rewards member but after this night I definently consider pass to other hotel group !
Very nice property, well kept and clean. Staff was very friendly and seemed to care about the quality of my stay. I'm not a big tv watcher, but several HBO and Cinemax channels were nice. Good hot breakfast - with eggs, bacon and sausage as well as high carb choices.
Myself my husband our golden retriever and our 7 year old son decided to take a last minute trip from Baton Rouge to Gulfport for the weekend. I booked through Booking.com and found a double bedroom for $94! I chose this hotel based on the ratings, free breakfast, large pool area and pet friendly. Most hotels have weight limits on pets nothing over 25lbs so it is not often you find a decent rate decent hotel with good amenities and accepts pets over 25lbs! Check in was nice. We arrived at 10am on Saturday but the lady said she'd let us check in as early as 12pm! After we settled in, my son and I decided to go to the pool. The pool is BIG. Goes from 3ft-9ft with a safety division in the middle. There is also a hot tub pretty big as well along with a small 1ft pool for tots! The water and pool area was very clean. In the morning I noticed a sign on the breakfast area says NO CARRY OUTS. But due to having a pet you can't leave unattended, i asked the man at the front desk if they could make an exception cause my husband had to stay in the room with the dog and he was more than accommodating for us. The servers at breakfast were also very nice and professional. The breakfast was hot and good and had a lot to choose from! We'll definitely recommend!
Staff was great...the food at breakfast was very good and the temperature was perfect and replaced when depleated! The check in staff was courteous and helpful. Very well located in the area....I would definately stay there again. Great experience and excellent price!
It was a wonderful experience and the best night's sleep I've had in ages. I'm trying to find out where they got the pillows-- they were heavenly! And the price couldn't be beat either!! But most of all the staff was exceptional -- friendly, courteous, professional.
I stayed here last-minute after coming from an awful hotel and the front desk here was able to get me checked in and squared away quickly around midnight. They originally put me in a room that was already occupied, and I walked into a room with other guests who proceeded to yell at me (understandably so), so I was pretty upset about that. That said, I did appreciate the fact that the room was very clean and quiet, and I love that they're pet friendly without charging a ridiculous fee.
Great Hotel and staff! Southern Charm at its Best! Nice rooms with mini refrigerators, microwaves and many recently renovated. The free breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip from Arizona. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping with quick access to the 10 freeway. We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit family!
Good value for the money. Stayed for 3 days. Room was clean, hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Airport was less than five minutes away so flights were overhead during the day. Staff was very friendly. Didn't use the pool but looked nice. Would recommend
Had another great stay with kids and grandkids. Hotel was great place for us to stay with things to do in a short distance and the morning complementary breakfast is almost like a buffet breakfast. I would recommend this to our friends to stay there.
Great hotel, location was close to everything ( outlet mall, beaches, restaurants, Walmart). Pool area was very nice and clean. Breakfast was great ( sausage, bacon, eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, really cool pancake maker, juice, coffee, milk, fruit and pastries. Staff was super friendly. Ample parking. Clean rooms.
The staff was awesome at this location, all the way down to the breakfast crew. The pool had a very beachy feeling. My kids enjoyed it very much all the way down to the breakfast. Great value. Your staff deserves a pat on the back for professionalism.
Best hotel I've stayed at in a long time. Wonderful service from all staff. Room was great. Will definitely stay again. The only complaint I had was concerning the cable TV, the news channels would not come in.
My husband and I choose the Best Western Seaway Inn as the hotel to wait for hurricane Dorian to pass by Florida where we live. We had a minor issue checking in but Oliver was able to work though it and get us into a different room. The breakfast was very good with a large variety.
This we an average stay place in almost every way. The room: had been remodeled, yet no room to close bathroom door without stepping over from of toilet. A/c old style-noisy. Breakfast food was slightly above average. Pool was very good! And hot tub. Wasn't crowded when we were there. We were out in position where we had to use stairs constantly; will just ask for first floor next time. For the price id go back again.
The staff was outstanding, hotel was very clean. Very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast area and lobby was clean and inviting. Breakfast was very good. Everything you need to get your day started.
We read great reviews about this hotel....NOT the case...window A/C was so LOUD ear plugs didn't help..we finally turned that RATTLING pile of junk off at night... in AUGUST..it was late...we drove all day...we didn't feel like packing up again....moving to another room or hotel and unpacking...just REPLACE the damn thing, OMG. Why do that to paying customers...next door people had (3) large dogs...seriously..BW lets (3) large animals in their rooms.....those damn dogs started whining around 5am...then barking about 10 mins later...you could hear the man above us peeing into the toilet at 5:30 am....PEEING...that's not a sound you want to hear...I guess if the A/C was running we wouldn't have heard him PEEING....walls are PAPER thin....the good is in the lobby area, it looked nice...remodeled nicely...the breakfast area was really nice....and had nice selection of good food....but I was there for the room and a good night sleep. My advise....save your money and stay down the road...there are about (3) better and cleaner looking hotels...! WORST $85 I've ever spent at a hotel....I'd been more comfortable sleeping in my SUV or Federal Prison...! FYI, the rooms are old and out dated.....so if you want an old out dated hotel with "exterior doors", sticky bathroom floors, loud rattling window units, old smell, and paper thin walls...BUT with a great breakfast....this is the perfect place.
This hotel is a great place to stay and enjoy the scenery of the gulf coast. The location is excellent and most everything is easy to get to. The staff of the hotel went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible!
I was charged a $25.00 late check out fee for1 hour after talking to the front desk clerk the day before and she okayed it and wrote my name down in a book. Upon checkout the clerk charged me and I told her to look in the book for my name she did found my name but she didn't know how to take the $25.00 fee off of my bill. She then told me to call back to the hotel to have this done upon calling back I was told that if I didn't know the clerks name who okayed the late checkout my money would not be refunded
Awesome hotel. Clean. Beds very comfortable only issues we encountered was the AC not being able to keep up with the heat wave. And the drunk group of people staying next door. However if paying cash they require a 150$ deposit which was no issue but would of been nice to know before I got there.
My room was not cleaned on the 2nd day of my stay AFTER I reported it to the front desk the 1st time! My bed was made with the same sheets from the day before with the ketchup stain still on it! I had to go to the store to purchase cleaning products. After reporting the first incident of housekeeping bringing a couple towels and not cleaning my room! Once returning back to my room over 5 hours later, still had sand on the floor from my trip to the beach the day before, bathroom and sink area still not cleaned and bed made with yesterday's sheets! They only wanted to deduct $20 when I paid them for cleanliness of my room! I had to go to the store to purchase cleaning products and clean my room but of course I wasn't going to purchase a vaccum! So taking this issue to upper management!
We stayed here while traveling from Georgia to Houston, TX. It was the most comfortable nights sleep I've ever had staying in a hotel. The pillows were fluffy and the mattress was so soft. The staff were excellent. I was so impressed with the service that I made a point to tell the manager. The breakfast was also the best I ever had in a hotel. We will be choosing Best Western for future hotel stays.
We were on our way to Orlando and decided to stop for the night. This place is a gem. Priced right, great super friendly staff. Would love to stay longer. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome! I would highly recommend this hotel.
Staff is friendly and efficient. Beds are very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and the surrounding area is attractive. The breakfast buffet has many options to choose from and they were all tasty. It was my second stay and I will definitely go again.
Very excellent staff, courteous, friendly, accommodating. Room clean, pool and hot tub amazing (there's even a kiddie pool fot little ones. Lovely landscape, barbecue grills, plenty of comfortable seating
We have stayed at this property a few times in the past. It was run down and dirty. The renovations done are outstanding. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The lobby was sleek and modern. Everything looked new.
Checked in. Room was on 2nd floor couldn't see room numbers from car. They are blocked by the railing at that angle. A lot of noise, workers hanging out outside drinking and carrying on. Found room, went inside turned on light. Everything is outdated and the room smelled musty and smoky. Probably because most everyone outside hanging out were smoking. Went to adjust AC temp, roach crawling on vent. Roach didn't run, kept crawling allover the AC. I moved the chair to get a picture and found someone's dirty clothes laying on floor. As well as a large dirt ring where the chair was. Obviously it hasn't been moved and cleaned under in a long time. I took pictures of the roach and article of clothing, then I crushed the roach. We packed up and checked out! The reception desk agent made no big deal about the roach, dirt behind chair or dirty clothes left in the room.
Stayed a week in a double/double. The room was big enough for my family of 3. Breakfast was really good with several options. The laundry facility was clean and was $2 a load to wash and $2 a load to dry.
We only stayed one night on our way home from Pensacola and Gulf Shores. The hotel looks like it's just been remodeled and it's lovely! Very pretty lobby and breakfast area. We stayed on the second floor, poolside. Didn't hear anyone nearby, only occasionally someone talking as they passed our room—but we were pretty far back from the stairs and elevators. The room was super clean, beds were soft, and nicely fluffed pillows. The shower was GORGEOUS, but the shower/toilet area was very small. The coffee maker was missing the slot to put the coffee in, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't an inconvenience. Breakfast was definitely one of the nicest hotel breakfasts I've had! The eggs and biscuits were fluffy, and they had a nice assortment of food and beverages. Plenty of seating, and breakfast ran from 6am until 10am. You could hear airplanes flying overhead from the nearby airport, but once we realized they were planes, we had no trouble tuning them out or sleeping. Be aware they do have both smoking and non-smoking rooms, so make sure you pick the one you want! The pool looked gorgeous, but we didn't have a chance to try it out. Easy to access from the interstate, and right off the main road. The parking lot and outside areas were well lit at night. Overall very happy with our stay!
It was a nice hotel, I have stayed in motels all over the country. My personal opinion I overpaid for the room for what was offered and it being in middle of town and not close to a beach or anything on the coast
Great location. Very very clean room. Check-in very cool and polite. Older gentleman. Stayed July 4 night. Very crowded. No noise or I would have complained. One of the first hotels after Hurricane K. Tourists favorite. Free BF. Large complex easy to access but a 3-4 minute walk to Front Desk. Not sure about the pool. No elevators only two floors. Next to Outlet shopping and I-10 Interstate. Refrigerator Microwave great Wi-fi and safe.
This hotel has been a pleasant experience each time I stayed. It is modern and well maintained. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast exceeds expectation. The only downside is having to pack up and leave.
After a long day at the waterpark we checked into the Best Western about 30 minutes before the 4PM check in time. Our 2nd floor pool view room was clean and inviting. We had plenty of room for the 4 adults staying there. The a/c was cold and the shower was hot. They also had one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had at a hotel. The food was hot and freshly made. All the staff were very friendly. Will be back if I need a place on the coast again.
Great Hotel, Outstanding Customer Service, The Hotel is easily accessible, Is close to numerous restaurants. The Rooms were extra nice and clean. Theonly problem encountered is the Mattress on the King Size Bed was extremley hard almost like sleeping on a Board. It was overly firm. Other than that I Highly recommend Best Western for your next get away or stay in Gulfport, MS.
The staff was courteous and professional, the lobby was very inviting, the complimentary coffee offered in the lobby was good except the staff never bothered to check the creamer so the 2 days I was there you were stuck with black only coffee. The rooms are a little small for a Best Western, but a good value for the price
We brought our church youth group to the MS Gulf coast and stayed here. The staff was nice and accommodating, the pool area was incredible, and breakfast was amazing. It was also a great value for us. We rented 5 rooms and everyone was happy. It is close to the airport, so the planes can be noisy at times. It wasn't really an issue for us though; the kids loved watching the planes come through.
When we checked in the guy was super nice! That's why I couldn't give a “Terrible” rating. It takes a lot for me to give a poor rating. First, I had requested a “crib” for our 1 yr old when I reserved the room initially. We got there in the middle of the night and didn't have one in our room. When I called the front desk (on my cell phone because our phone didn't have a cable hooked to it) they said they didn't know what happened but didn't have access to where the cribs were...essentially I was out of luck. So I had to sleep in the bed with my 1 yr old which resulted in almost non existent sleep for me. When we got up the next morning to go eat there was a large crowd of baseball players...which resulted in no bacon, eggs, sausage, etc. We waited around for the longest time and none was brought out. So we left. We were trying to save a little money by staying here but you get what you pay for.
Pleasant staff, nice breakfast, the room 400 ceiling needs some work! Holes in the ceiling that need repair ( see photo) I feel rooms with work or damage should not be be used for guest until properly repaired)
Very nice place to stay. Hotel was recently remodeled. Big pool with jacuzzi. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Plenty of hot water for the shower and quiet inside-couldn't hear outside noise
Great place to stay. The pool area was clean and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The breakfast was far superior to other places that we typically stay. We will be back soon. The only negative aspect is the noise from the airport. In our case the kids loved to see the airplanes up close while they were on their way to land.
The front desk clerk was rude, every time we dealt with him. Rooms were supposed to have queen beds, they were clearly full size. Bathroom was not cleaned well, there was hair everywhere. Not what o expected from a best western.
We stay here every time weâÂÂre passing through on our way to my sons house in Louisiana. The value for your buck is unmatched anywhere!! Staff is always helpful and courteous and the rooms are immaculate!
This was a business/family trip as we were able to take our daughter along. The hotel staff was great and the rooms were clean. I only gave it 4 stars due to two things. First the maintenance man was really rude when I went down to ask for some bug spray due to ants in the room. It's the south and that season so they are found everywhere, just wanted a little help with them. Again the room was clean just par for the course in the area. Second is they would not match the price I found online. The rates were cheaper online, but they would not match them and told me to book online. I do not book through my phone and also like to use cash so I paid a little more than what I expected, but the price was still pretty good.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Will definitely stay again! The room was super nice. Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. Loved the pool/hot tub area. It felt like we were on an island. Highly recommend!
One of the best places for kids to stay. Great pool area with trees tables and lots of chairs, and has a 1' kiddo pool, and a hot tub, The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Their breakfast was a buffet style with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit. Glad we stayed there. wish there were more places to stay like this Best Western.
A very nice place to stay. The staff were helpful with any problems we had. Close to eating place an Walmart was across the street fro the hotel. The rooms in excellent shape. The wi-fi an cable tv were excellent also.
Our room overlooked the pool area which is beautiful. We did not get to enjoy the pool due to it being totally overcrowded by a large group of kids, one of which was totally naked. Luckily the pool does close at 10:00 so the noise did not interfere with our sleep. This property is kept very clean, we saw the pool maintenance people checking the pool and other workers cleaned the tables and chairs. We will go back and hope we get to enjoy the pool area the next time.
Very clean rooms, comfortable beds , free wifi, centrally located ,breakfast was not impressive, pool area extremely crowded and very noisy if your room has a pool view expect to be awake until it closes at 10pm. If you need towels or sheets expect to leave the room they will not bring it to you. Overall I wouldn't stay again I'll spend the extra money for holiday inn.
We couldnt get out of their fast enough! We left middle of the night because we just couldnt manage it any more. We looked around for other hotels as soon as we checked in 1. As soon as we walked into our room there was a nostril stinging potent smell of bleach, chemicals and chlorine 2. The bathroom itself had a chlorine stench that was even more toxic and potent then the room 3. Dead bugs in pool- it wasnt just a few dead bugs here and there...it was an actual blanket of dead bugs floating at the top. At one point a young mom with her kids found a bug net to try to clear them (there was no staff cleaning them out)... they looked like dead termites and ants.... and i mean there were THOUSANDS of them. 4. Also, not that the hotel can control this part, but it is located directly under a landing flight path for the jet planes (the runway was about 1 mile away)
Great breakfast here, and I absolutely love their pancake machines. Also, the room was spacious and clean. Great value for the dollar here in our opinion. Note that this place is always busy, that is a good sign.
Room was very neat and clean. Had all new ammenities. We would definitely stay and recommend this hotel to others. The staff was very friendly and courteous at all times. The breakfast the following morning was very good.
i liked the hotel and would recommend it but do not take the handicap room 103..it only has a full size bed and the mattress is broken down..worse night of sleep ever..the next day i requested a new room and the staff was quick to accommodate...I loved watching the low planes going over..cool...
I was very impressed with the look and price of the Best Western in Gulfport Mississippi. Very affordable rate with lovely and modern decor of the entire hotel. Breakfast was delightful with lots of choices. Very friendly staff.
Clean comfortable PET FRIENDLY free breakfast, rooms are remodeled. For a discount price motel this was great! 2 Security guys walk the parking lot sundown to sunup which was reassuring for us with a packed U-haul. Upstairs rooms have microwave, mini fridge, tub & shower. Front desk is 24/7 & told me 1st floor rooms have walk in shower. Walked through parking lots to Waffle House and Hooters (the wings!). Office area w computers & Laundry cost $2 wash & $2 dry. Truck and oversized parking available. Airplanes go over (cool to watch!) but you can't hear them from inside the rooms. Lots of working class families, met military couples, and a few work crews up & out at 06:00. Breakfast until 10:00am which is great to chill & avoid rush hour traffic for the next leg of our road trip.
So they lied! We stayed there because I am Best western rewards! I was really disappointed! Having rusty stuff in the bathroom in all our rooms ! Wasn't pleased at all! An I stay a lot at Best Western !
My wife and I wanted to stay just off the beach and located this hotel about two miles north. Just south of I-10, it is very easy to access from the North. Howe's, as you return to the hotel at the end of the day, you have to go past the hotel entrance and then do a u-turn at the light, which is very common and accepted. Full breakfast each morning, but it is mediocre. Accommodations are very clean, with a great pool area. Would be great for large families. Staff is very courteous. We would definitely stay here again.
By looking at the pictures online it looked like a very nice hotel. When you get there it felt unsafe walking to our room. There where alot of questionable people outside late. The rooms have a bad smell and are old and outdated. We would of just left if we did not arrive so late
Great place to stay in the Gulfport, MS. area. Breakfast was great with several items to choose from and is included in the room price. Convenient to several places to eat and shop. I would stay at this hotel again.
I have stayed at Seaway before. It is easy on off the interstate which is nice. Rooms have been neat and clean. I used the weight room which was nice and clean. Breakfast is typically good but I didn't have time to eat this trip since I left at five am. There are several walking eating places nearby and one is you Krispy Cream donut place which I like. There is also an Asian restaurant and a Mexican restaurant a short walk away, Wendy's is even closer for some fast food its only 20 yards away. Plenty of Gas Stations all around the hotel which is nice as well. I like a quiet room and it is quiet here the times I have stayed here although I have never stayed here on a Friday or Saturday night. They do accept pets and have a pet area in back of the hotel. They also have parking for a trailer or a moving truck in the rear as well which I have used several times.
There was a smelly odor in the room, also blood on the curtains we stayed in room 123. No one came in to give us new towels or to hange garbages. Had to go to front desk to get more toilet paper and towels. Most hotels i have stayed in room service still came in room to tidy up gove clean towels change garbages etc but not this one which i found unacceptable to say the least
First off, we picked this hotel coming into Biloxi late at night and everything else was booked. We looked at the photos on trip advisor and thought we were getting a great deal because everything looked new and remodeled. We called ahead of time and found out that the breakfast was a hot southern style breakfast so we decided to go for it. The lobby and breakfast area is gorgeous, newly remodeled. You have to walk outside to the rooms which is a turn off for me, and the rooms are outdated. The pool area is in the middle of the hotel buildings and seems to be clean enough. The turn off was while walking to our room at 10 pm we were passing groups of people sitting at patio chairs smoking cigarettes. Once we got to the room we found 2 small beds. There was stains in the window curtains and the room was very outdated. There is an airport within a half a mile and planes are buzzing very close over the hotel room until at least midnight. The positive sides are the breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast. The staff was beyond kind and hospitable. My real only complaint is the photos were completely misleading to what kind of hotel this is. I don't like rooms that you access from the outside because it poses a safety risk, although I do know they have the main lobby area open 24 hours a day. The hotel served its purpose for a late night stay, but be warned it's not what it appears to be in pictures.
The staff and experience at Best Western Seaway was great. The rooms were clean and the hotel was located in a perfect location from 10 to 20 minutes from everything from food, beach, shopping centers, and several casinos.
I had a king room facing the pool on the 2nd floor. The room was very clean and looked to be remodeled recently. It was nice how they put the mini fridge and microwave in the bathroom vanity area instead of under the TV like most places. The shower (no tub) was very modern with a big shower head, clear sliding doors and a low step in. The 37" TV had plenty of channels with a good picture. The breakfast was good with a large variety of hot items. However, they may want to review how they prepare the bacon. I found it needed to be more crispy for my taste. The breakfast area was large with nice decor. The only downside was the noise of airplanes flying overhead into the nearby airport. I did not hear the airplanes during sleeping hours though.
Hotel was modern, employees helpful and friendly. The breakfast was top notch with a wonderful assortment of breakfast items Was one of our most memorable experiences at a hotel in many years. We will be back and bring our friends.
I booked this room for my daughter and me. We were on a short vacation for the two of us to enjoy Gulfport. I read the website for that hotel very carefully. Nowhere did it mention that it is actually a Motel with the doors open to the outside. I just reread the website to make sure I didn't mis-read anything or didn't see it, there's no where on there that says these doors open to the outside. I arrived late in the evening and I was very disappointed to find that this was the situation. I'm uncomfortable being in a room alone with my daughter in this type of environment. This hotel needs to be more upfront and honest about the actual accommodations. The exterior open doors also make it very loud as people were running up and down the hallway just in front of my room and screaming and squealing at the pool until late hours on Saturday night. Would definitely not stay here again..
We stopped here on the way home from Disney World. I booked this online before our trip and was given a $90 room rate for a family of 4 with two queen beds. When I arrived and checked in, they gave me a cheaper rate ($74 total with tax) due to being a Best Western Rewards Club member. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. There is a free hot breakfast with lots of good food, and seeing as how we paid $20 at McDonald's for breakfast, that means the room only cost $54 which you cannot beat for a good clean hotel room on spring break. There are tons of dining options within walking distance or just a short drive in your car. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
The rooms are on the small side, but they are clean and quiet. And yes the breakfast is with paper plates and plastic wear, but other hotel brands are the same with even a lesser choice of menu items. This is not a 5 star property but for the money it's worth it. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet. When passing thru here again I will stay again
Stayed two nights so we could visit New Orleans for the first time. (1 hour away). Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Staff very nice and accommodating. Best variety and quality of breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage (2 ways) fruit, cereal. almost anything you could want they had. Pool area was really nice. Hot tub and small pool for young children. It was to cold to swim on our trip but the landscape was really pretty. Would definitely stay here again. There would bus loads of teenagers there for a BETA conference in Biolxi and the hotel still managed to have everything we could want.
Perfect, everything was perfect. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms where very clean and in proper order. The whole hotel was very nice. I did have breakfast the next morning and it was very good and right next to the lobby. Everything was perfect.
Big price for medium to low quality accommodation. Breakfast was an even cheaper experience with paper plates and plastic cutlery. All in all not a place I will pay their price and stay again. Don't believe their web site.
Great location and easy to access from Hwy entrance. Nice appearance as driving in and set up was handy. Rooms were good size, amenities were all functional and staff was nice. The pool was in good location center of property so only hotel guest were able to access it. Breakfast had nice selection and staff was constantly updating and keeping items fresh along breakfast bar.
Everyone at this establishment was kind and considerate in rooms was immaculate the grounds and was very well-kept the pool is clean even though it was too cold to get in it. But the kids I'll loved it
My stay was for four days while away in Gulfport for business. The hotel rate was an absolute steal for the quality. If you're looking for a wallet friendly hotel that doesn't skimp on service, this is the place. Large breakfast room with hot fresh eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, and many other choices. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Very nice bathroom installations. For light sleepers, you may want to request a room further from the street. The pool area is gorgeous. The internet can have slight hiccups, but it worked well for me and I am picky.
Stayed 2 nights . Clean, quiet - and easy access to everything!! Breakfast was wonderful - so many choices!!! Better than expected! Would stay again! Staff was very helpful! Only thing was my husband and I could not figure out how to close the blackout curtain
I was very nicely surprised at this hotel. Nice clean room. Just that someone left hair on the back of the bathroom door when cleaning. Breakfast was wonderful. Great value! I'm picky but would stay here again.
Very surprised with my 3 night stay at this Hotel. It is obvious that Management and staff care about this property and their guests. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area
remember if you get an outside room it will be noisy; which out of the control of the motel and the nature of a motel The proximity to the airport is perfect. Easy to get to , the outlet mall nearby , food nearby
Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. Beautifully decorated room with hard bed. Spacious parking with extra parking in back for big rigs. Good dog walking area. Large breakfast room with nice selection of items including fresh fruit.
This is a great place to stay with an awesome staff. They go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. From management right on down. If you are looking for a great place that is close to shopping and not far from the beach this is it.
Passing through on our way home and needed a pet friendly hotel. They are pet friendly, if you have and extra $15, but that reasonable. This place appeared to have recently has a face lift. The exterior look freshly painted and the rooms were in wonderful condition. The breakfast was excellent, with two staff members on site to assist if needed. Would certainly stay again!
This place is in desperate need of a new cleaning staff. I checked into the room and it smelled of urine. There were particles of trash on the floor and hairs everywhere on the floor in the bathroom. There was also caked dust and dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor. When I told the staff, they offered to move me, so I obliged. When I moved, the new room still smelled of urine, there was a brown stain on the bed on the top sheet, there were hairs all over the bathroom floor and pieces of debris on the carpet. When I opened the toilet lid, someone's brown hairs were on top of the toilet seat! I am so glad I looked first! The shower had brown foot marks on the shower floor and white stains on the shower glass. It was so disgusting, I did not even want to use the shower, felt like I needed flip flops to use it. I did not sleep well at all because I was thinking about how dirty the room was. It is as if the cleaning staff do a quick 1-minute clean in there and use the dirty rags on every surface. It was also very loud, people were playing loud base next door and laughing. Horrible! I hope that the hotel reads this and takes a serious look at their staff training program. Oh, and minor issue, the same cleaning staff who left hair everywhere also gave me two conditioners instead of shampoo, so I had to go to the front desk to ask for shampoo. How careless! I will say the lady who checked me in was extremely nice and professional, but when I went back to get the shampoo, it was a dude who was "hanging out" in the back. I stood at the desk for 5 minutes before he noticed me. What a mess!
What a joy that it was after a hard drive west to have such a welcoming hotel to stay at. The staff, especially CeCe, was top notch and the decor matches any swank hotel around. I really also loved the idea of a coffee bar and breakfast was filling and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this hotel and will travel back there in the future. Pets are welcome but know that there is only limited access for them. Not a problem but if you need a front door access, this is not it, as entrances are on either end of the site. Thanks to all who made this such an enjoyable overnite experience.
First of all— I am not a complainer—all I really want from a hotel is clean, safe and a good shower. This Best Western got 2 out of 3. The room was nice and clean when we checked in but there was no housekeeping service for the next 2 days of our stay. We were in town for a family funeral and after being gone all day long it was disappointing to come back late at night to a non-cleaned room and have to walk back to the lobby to get some clean towels. I chalked it up to bad luck but when it happened again the next day—clearly something is wrong. So much of the hotel is nice but this is pretty irritating.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Clean, comfortable, nice sized rooms. Customer service was good and the rates were reasonable. Would stay again. Great restaurants close by. Was a secure place to stay.
Booked rooms weeks in advance with first floor pool side preference. On arrival was told rooms not available . We observed guests arriving days later that was assigned to these rooms that had remained empty until their arrival. Seems like confirmed reservations that arrive first should have preferences honored not guest that arrive 2 days after.
Stayed here several times - safe area - convenient to local casino and all types of food venues. We have had trouble with our room not always being serviced on out last two stays. Have to call down to the desk to get towels and our beds weren't made. This past trip we had an issue with the humidity in the room being very excessive - always felt damp and the floors were wet. Reported it when we left so hopefully they get the problem fixed.
This hotel has a beautiful courtyard and pool area with lush greenery. It was nice. The room was nice but smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The bed was comfortable and the microwave/ fridge areas was nice. Breakfast had nice options and a wide variety of food, but the dining room was disgusting. I had to clean and wipe down a table to find a place to sit. The only thing I will say is that the area is a bit rough. My husband went across the street to Walmart to get a flashlight, and they were locked up. The cashier told him that it was a place with lots of theft.
We had a great stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. We had a hot tub room which was very relaxing and worked great. The air conditioner was slow to cool off the room after the hot tub but it eventually got comfortable.
First time staying at this hotel, the Best Western Seaside in Gulfport, Miss. I usually stay at places like La Quinta, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn. Thought I would try this Best Western out, and let me tell you....I was surprised! It was Fantastic! Great service! Nice rooms! Excellent condition and the value! And the cost comparison.....hands down! From now on, it's Best Western, all the way!
It's 11 pm and children are screaming and adults are talking loudly outside our room. This is, in truth a motel with doors opening to the open air center. Our room was ok but I'll never understand why hotels have bathtubs. Does anyone actually take a bath at a hotel? We only stayed here because the meeting was here. We won't stay here again.
Came in for a conference. The staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel was located close to everything including casinos. 12 minutes from the beach and only 1 hour away from New Orleans! we had a very relaxing time here. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway
Very Nice Motel...Updated.Clean. Accommodation for our pet were greatly appreciated. A full breakfast bar - hot and cold choices. Nice to have breakfast bar attendants ready to help and take care of the area.
Good location, very clean and well taken care of. Great breakfast and staff. Internet worked well. Have handicapped rooms, Plenty of truck and trailer parking. Parking lot well lighted at night Security on sight at night.
good value here for the price. Good breakfast. Nice property in a good location. Bed was very firm. the property is set up well and the exterior is very nice. Lots of parking and good for any pulling a trailer of any kind.
Well maintained hotel with a wonderful courtyard to relax in. Even provided grills for those who wished to cook a meal. Very pet friendly, our dogs also enjoyed their stay here. Felt very safe in the area with several restaurant choices nearby.
It was nice and clean. The staff was nice and made our stay worth it. The breakfast was nice and enjoyable. I stay two nights and will return if I'm in the area.It was near a lot of restaurants and different stores.
I would use this hotel again if in the area. The room was clean, beds comfy, breakfast more than adequate, and conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. Just a few minutes drive to beach. The pool and hot tub area was the main selling factor for us.
Food was good for breakfast which is amazing pancakes with different flavor's Knox Beery Farms. This hotel is like brand new very clean and up to date. The front desk clerk was very nice and respectful.
great breakfast and workers, keep it stocked. Not noisy even though airport close and convention happening, bathroom could have been a little cleaner, great staff at check-in and check out, helpful cleaning staff
Requested a pool view room and was given a room with view of a wall in breezeway. Was told still facing pool. Pool view rooms have a small extra charge for them, that is fine if I actually had a view of pool. Other than that had a good time again at this hotel. Clean fresh rooms, nice big pool and decent breakfast.
Very Impressed with this hotel, location great for shopping centre. Hotel clean, staff friendly and the breakfast more than enough. Swimming pool was great after a day shopping. Loved the view over the pool and plenty of parking. Certainly would return here.
We rolled in sat morning wee hours. The bed was heaven, calm dark & comforting. shower was great! It was a little far to stairs to get to room but short of an elevator nothing could be done. Great & centrally located to shopping casino and main road arteries.
I cant express how satisfied I was with my recent stay at this motel. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated and it shows. The hotel lobby was clean the staff greeted me with speed and professionalism. The room was clean and everything you need was present and worked properly. The exterior of the property was noticeably clean and the parking lot and common areas were well lit at night. The location is centered near most anything you need. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food and drinks and the food was prepared and presented as you would hope. I could probably find something to pick at but I've stayed at properties that were twice the price that didn't come close to the value I received here. Safe, Clean, and good value for money. I'll stay here again next time I pass through the area.
The hotel has three entrances, which make it easy to get in and out due to the small main entrance which is usually blocked by those checking in and out. The rooms are adequate in size but the TV menu is frustrating. Large pool in center of property is nice size and there's also a jacuzzi.
The rooms were clean and appeared recently updated. The grounds were beautiful with tropical plants & flowers. Plenty of tables, chairs and loungers in the pool area. Also had a kiddy pool & hottub, something for all age members of our family to enjoy. There's also BBQ grills for guest to use. The complimentary breakfast was full of options and was delicious. The employees on all levels were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke to us each we'd meet in passing. If we visit the Gulfport, MS area again we will definitely be checking back in !!
My visit was great we had lots of fun we did lotta things hotel was nice staff were friendly food was delicious people was friendly room was clean and had a good time will be coming back to For my birthday and vacation And shopping and eat at the hotel
Everything was great. Room was very clean, staff friendly, bed very comfortable. Staff went out their way to be friendly and make sure our stay was pleasant. I usually stay at Best Western Seaway Inn and I find it only getting better every year.
nice hotel, friendly staff, room was very clean and comfortable, our breakfast was perfect. we will come back on our next trip thru gulf port..location was where we needed to be . close to downtown and the resturants.
This is a great place to stay for ball tournament and long extended stays. Our room faced the pool and the family atmosphere was great. They have grills around the outside of the pool great for burger night. They have many washer/dryers so there is not much wait time. The pool is one of the best I have ever seen, but made more for adults then toddlers it is more then 5 foot deep. If you have a convention, family reunion, or ball tournament in the area this is the best place to stay.
We had a great stay. We stayed during the week so it was not very crowded. All of the staff that we encountered were very, very friendly. The room was nice and the continental breakfast was amazing. It was like what would you pay for at a restaurant. We had no complaints at all and will definitely be returning.
This is the 3rd summer my family and I have stayed at this hotel for a summer vacation. We love it!! The staff is professional, friendly, very accomadating, and efficient. I have not had any major problems or complaints with this hotel. The breakfast is delicious, there are a variety of items, and best of all, it's free! We really enjoy the pool as well. The hotel is conveniently located next to many restaurants, stores, etc. And the price for the rooms are very fair and reasonable. The only little thing is maybe wifi service can be a little better. But other than that, we love coming here and will definitely stick with this hotel wherever we may travel.
The rates were low. The rooms were very nice and clean. Pool/outside area was phenomenal! Breakfast was tasty. Lobby was very welcoming and professional. Easy to access food places, Walmart, and casino.
My family only tolerates that I write reviews when we travel. This morning, as we were leaving, they INSISTED and I didn't have to quiz them for details either- they are shooting sentences at me faster than I can type! ‘Everyone said hello!' ‘Breakfast was biggest and best we have seen on whole trip!' ‘It was super-clean' ‘Beds were comfy' ‘Pool area was nice'. I'm happy because all of that is true and at under $100, I believe it is also cheapest place we have stayed on this whole vacation. Talk about bang for your buck- wow!
Everything about this hotel was great. Eddie was the supervisor that checked us in. I'm a germaphobe and he allowed me to see and expect my room upon arrival. He was super nice to my son. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. The pools were awesome. So happy they had a 1ft pool for my 2 year old. We had 5 rooms total. My family will return. Great beds, nice size rooms. My room view was nice. We sat outside for breakfast in the landscaped sitting area near the pool. 10 minutes from the beach. 2 mins from Walmart and the outlet mall. Plenty of eating spots as well.
We found this place on Hotels.com. It's a nice place to stay especially if you have young kids. There's a nice pool and the continental breakfast is almost buffet style. You can have either a cold or hot breakfast for you and the kids. Very kid friendly. We will be staying at this place again.
Traveling from Destin, Fl to Texas with my daughter. Found this little gem for an overnight stay. Recently renovated...the landscape was in great shape, pool was done up very well, fresh paint. Didn't need it, but the business center available for a travelers to check emails was new and organized. Nice place all around. While checking in, the male desk clerk, sorry I didn't get his name, notice that a discount was available and offered it up and applied it to my room. This which was much-appreciated. This was my 1st stay at any Best Western and I am hoping to find other properties as impressive. Very nice stay for a great rate. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool area with great and our son loved playing with the other kids. The free breakfast was really nice and lots of options for the whole family. We will stay again for sure.
Rooms where nice for a family of 5. Breakfast was great and plenty. Being near the pool was a great view. Will stay again in the nest future . The staff was great. Maybe call guest to be sure they want to use the same Credit card so won't be two holds on accounts.
The staff was amazing, My check-in was quick,My room was extremely clean and the housekeeping staff was the greatest ,most friendliest I've ever met and very patient at that. I really enjoyed my stay.
The Seaway Inn was a nice place to stay. My room was clean, refurbished and comfy. The bed was very comfortable and gave me an excellent night's sleep. Just a short drive to the beach and the downtown area. Near plenty of entertainment, shopping and food choices.
This hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed, I should have stayed at a motel 6 instead and saved money, would have been the same experience. The staff was unprofessional on multiple occasions. The amenities were broken, including the ice machine, coffee machine, and vending machine. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I was very disappointed in the value for the cost.
My husband and I were looking for a hotel with a great pool to escape to for a few days. This hotel was perfect! The pool is gorgeous and well maintained. There is adequate shaded seating as well as an abundance of lay out chairs. Overall we were extremely pleased with our experience.
We stayed at this hotel last summer and there has been many improvements since then. The rooms are updated and look very nice for the price. The breakfast is delicious and has so many options. And the staff was so friendly and helpful! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel in the future!
I booked a couple of months ahead on Expedia for $150 for 2 queen beds for my daughter, myself and her 5 mo. old infant. I called the Best Western directly after I booked and asked about cribs for the baby. I was told that they could not guarantee a crib since we were booked for a busy weekend (one night of July 2nd) but they would try to save a crib and would make a note on our reservation. When I checked in the manager told me they don't even have cribs! I was stunned. My daughter said her baby could sleep in bed with her but we had a hard time getting her to settle down. We wanted to wind down from a tiring trip with a good seafood dinner in the room. I ordered and drove to pick it up and picked up a bottle of wine at a shop. When I got back to room I called front desk to ask for a corkscrew and they had none, not even one to borrow. he said I needed to go next door to the Holiday Inn and go to the bar and ask for my bottle to be uncorked! I walked over in the pouring rain and was so tired and it took me another 15 minutes and by then our dinner was cold. I am stunned at how un-family-friendly Best Western is to not have cribs. Should have stayed at Holiday Inn. And no corkscrew? Not even one we could borrow?? At a price of $150 I expected much more. And one other odd but little pet peeve of mine - there were no towel racks or hangers in the sink area or the bath area. Also at midnight I had to call the Front Desk and ask them to get the people partying outside our door to quiet down. There are signs saying quiet time starts at 10pm. The noise woke up the baby. We booked to be near airport and location was good and shuttle was prompt.
We usually stay at inside room hotels for security and elevators but booked a room at the Seaway because of the price. It's the kind of place where the room doors open to the parking lot. The first thing I noticed was the lobby was very nice and modern. When we got to our room we found everything in it was very nice. The furnishings were all new, carpet and bathroom was very clean, had a fridge and microwave. We were on the 2nd floor but they did have an elevator. I noticed all of the doors looked new and well painted. The railings were all nice and painted. This motel completely surrounded the pool area. Although we didn't use it, plenty of others did and it was real nice with lots of shade. A lot of the rooms opened to the pool side. The breakfast was very ample and had a lot of selections. They had plenty of help working the breakfast area. I know this is probably an older property but they have done a good job with the updates and I will stay there again.
We stayed here for the weekend and it was a good experience. They had the best breakfast!!! Rooms were ok..beds were comfortable. Pool was nice and so was the hot tub. Great and convenient location. Would recommend hotel for families.
We were driving to Florida and needed to find a place to stop for the night. I read some of the other reviews and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased. Room was clean and we got a great price at $89. I was a little worried because our room was right in front of the pool and it was very crowded and loud. We checked in right before 10 and I was as happy to see the staff there at 10 making sure the pool was cleared out. Would definitely stay again
Nice and quiet. Ample Parking. Good Breakfast bar, with pancakes, eggs and bacon. Nice location, close to Interstate I-10 and close enough to the Gulf and the Casinos. Good Price. I would stay here again.
If you want a high end hotel at a great rate, then check out the Best Western Seaway Inn in Gulfport MS. I definitely will stay at this hotel next time I travel in the area. They have outdoor BBQ's by your room that you can use. They also have a decent weight/exercise room, nce pool, restaurant and at a great location. Just off I-10. Also very quiet. Good jobe Best Western.
Josh, as I said... I have had a run of bad luck but honestly, I appreciate you so very much. If you didn't call me and tell me my credit card was declined, I would of never known and it would of been a bigger problem than finding out when I was half way to the hotel. Thank you for telling me because obviously it was an error on my banks part but I would not have known if you didn't call me. You have been so nice and understanding to me. Thank you! I am in the hospitality industry, I work in hotels so I get you have rude customers all the time. I apologize you had to deal with me today. I'm going through a major life crisis but you succeeded my expectations and made me feel so much better. If you ever want a job in New Orleans, I'll happily get you one. You are my rock star! Thank you, and Camorn, you are alright too. Sorry you guys got to see me at my worst. Hopefully you both know, how you handled yourself helped me more than you might know. FYI, all of these rooms are super nice and I'm very happy I choose to stay here, I will be back and staying here exclusively.
Now if you have kids or love to swim in a nice pool here's your place . The rooms surround the large pool and it has lots of seating around the pool on both levels . And the rooms were very nice and clean to my standards . Close to several fast food places , gas stations and right of I-10 and right next to Hooters for you guys ( within walking distance ). Only draw back was there was a little league tournament league staying this past weekend so lots of screaming running kids and no ice in any of the many ice machines . But Wendy's next door was nice enough to fill my insulated cup for me so I could have an adult drink after a very long hot drive . So don't hesitate..... you won't be disappointed in your room .
My son and I stayed here for our trip to the Gulf. I have never had such a great experience! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was phenomenal! It was clean and the pool was great! I would definitely stay here again and again! I was worried about the airplanes, but they weren't that bad... Did not wake me at all. Highly recommend!
We stayed at this hotel on our return trip home - what a surprise! Nicely appointed, updated room - very comfortable bed. Nice towels. We heard the airplanes landing when we got there - but that stops at bedtime. Pick a poolside room. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is the usual - but this is a nice place. Easy to get to this location.
My family was treated second class from time we checked in and the black workers saw my retired law enforcement officer badge, it became more of an issue because I had my PTSD service dog and it wasn't relayed to the hotel by BW Rewards, I had my credit cards stolen so I paid cash, a $ 100.00 deposit was kept because my dog had an accident since the housekeeping staff kept barging in early morning and my dog is trained to protect me and my family. When addressed at the desk upon leaving the black employee on duty became verbally abusive and the very rude housekeeping supervisor said I was a nasty man and talked very ghetto to me, I asked the manager who was there she said I need to contact corporate. I did that night, and just got an email yesterday from " Trish " at Corp, and very vague and an apology that was generic lol, and a call from a Glenda at the hotel today who left a message. Amazing how they treat first responders. Please boycott this location! If your not white you will be catered to find, and BLM is all over the area, good luck.
We stayed here one night after being at the beach all day. Opted for this hotel because of the price and good reviews. Was not disappointed. We were in room 517 which is on the ground floor in the back. Our room was clean, well stocked with fridge, microwave, free bottled water, and coffee maker. The breakfast was great. Good selection with eggs, sausage, and pancakes. The coffee at breakfast was good. Walked to the pool area about 9 and it was loud and crowded. But it is a large area and has beautiful gardens. A poolside room would be a good upgrade, but since we just needed a place to sleep and didn't use the pool our room was good. Quiet and everyone was so friendly. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I would stay here again. They do offer smoking rooms, but they are all in the same area away from no smoking rooms.
We were traveling from Texas to Florida and Gulfport was a good place to stop for a break. I was happy to arrive at this facility and be greeted by pleasant staff who met and exceeded our expectations. The room was cool and very comfortable, the pool/hot tub area was very nice and clean. A great place to decompress after a hard work week and long drive!
Excellent staff quick and easy check in and out. Awesome breakfast with everything you may need. Got an upgrade at no cost (needed the hot tub after a long drive). Our half way point when traveling. Glad we found it.
For the price this was a great motel. Clean & comfortable & good service. The breakfast was not extraordinary, except the pancakes & waffles made there in the breakfast room. Great pool & Kurig coffee offered in the morning.
This place is so amazing it's actually hard to put it into words. I have been in the hospitality industry for 10+years and have NEVER seen such great service. On a trip for finding a place to relocate to, I met a dedicated worker by the name of "Hilda". She was such a ray of sunshine to be around. The highlight of my trip actually. She recommended so many positive places for us to enjoy in the area. She gave me hope for my move. Then there's the front desk agents so welcoming, kind, friendly, helpful in all ways. (Thanks for helping us print out our resume)(Thanks for letting me borrow a highlighter Hannah)The Jacuzzi was a hidden gem. A MUST experience! The rooms were impeccably clean. Great coffee items, Great Wi-Fi, Great breakfast. This was an all around awesome trip. Keep up the good work. If I could rate it 6 stars I would have.
This pet-friendly location would be perfect for interstate travellers. Unfortunately, we were hoping to spend time on the beaches & weren't prepared for the distance from the hotel. The room was clean & comfortable, & the staff was absolutely delightful. Great breakfast in the morning. Hooters & other places to eat are nearby.
I loved the decor of the room. It was cozy and roomy at the same time. It was perfect for just one...me. I would have liked a coffee maker since I didn't have time to stay for breakfast. I'm not sure why this must be 200 characters because I don't have anything else to offer.
I stayed while I was waiting for my apartment to open. The time was delayed and staff was very understanding and made me feel welcome. They changed the check out dates twice and never made me feel like I was asking too much from them. They even let me keep the same room even though an event was going on at the hotel over the weekend.
Driving up- the hotel appeared to be a well maintained and updated older hotel. However all interior spaces were so well updated that it didn't seem like you were in an older hotel. Room was clean comfortable and well decorated. The courtyard area around the pool was beautifully landscaped with many different seating areas. It was one of the prettiest pool areas I've seen in a long time.
I've been at this Hotel several times and the only not so good time was when they were renovating which is to be expected. Now the renovation is complete the place looks and feels great. I won't stay anywhere else!!
The facility was nice and the hotel staff was very friendly! It was a nice location right off the interstate and lots of places to eat around there. We would defiantly go back to this hotel in the future.
My 2 sisters and I stayed here for a short get away. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had and oversized room. It was very comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was amazing. It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We booked a room for June for a few days. We will definitely stay here again when we plan to go to Gulfport.
We do not stay in motels that often but this has been our greatest experience ever. The staff was friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The price was very reasonable. After staying at the Seaway Inn in Gulfport we looked for and stayed at Best Western on our way back home.
The hotel was great. They accommodated over a hundred of us and made our reunion a success. The staff was excellent and the service was outstanding. I believe that we are planning for our 2019 reunion and my vote is to hold it here.
I really enjoyed my time at the Best Western. The staff were all professional and courteous. The only issue we had was that it was something in the room that irritated our sinuses the 2 days we were there. Other than that, the hotel was nice for the price. The breakfast was good and fulfilling. I would recommend it.
We stayed at this hotel because this is where a Navy reunion was taking place. When we first checked in we were given a room with two double beds even though when we booked our reservation for months ago we had booked a room with a king bed. At check-in we were told that there were no queen or King beds available. The manager did make it right the next day and moved us from the double room to the room with a king bed. The rooms have recently been renovated and offer you a small microwave, a small refrigerator, a couch with coffee table, a large TV and a writing desk. The bathroom is of good size where the sink and mirror are. However the enclosed room that houses the walk-in shower and the toilet is extremely small. If someone is of a larger stature then they will not be able to get into the room with the shower and be able to easily close the door without having to maneuver around the toilet. The staff here are very friendly and are helpful when helping you choose items at the hot breakfast. The hot breakfast had scrambled eggs, bacon, patty sausage, fruit, freshly made pancakes, oatmeal, and biscuits and gravy.
Very nice , great quality for the price . Hotel staff waa very friendly. We were able to check in nearly 3 hours early. Rooms were very clean, secure and had plenty of towels. I would definitely stay here again
always good service, always clean. wish they had adult time at pool, after 10. Pool time in the day is full of kids, and noisy, but that's kids, and ok, but adults need some unwind time without that. So there should be some adult time available in the pool with no kids time,
A restful stay. this was just an overnight stop but we found the room comfortable, quiet and clean. The full breakfast was a pleasant surprize. Several hot items Front desk staff was helpful and very pleasant.
I stay here often, the service has all ways been very good. the hotel is in a good area. the hotel is very nice the folks there treat ya like family not just another customer. the rooms are nice the beds are comfortable I all ways rest well here.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a bit too cool for me to use the pool but the kids seemed to enjoy it that were there. Beautiful and clean hotel! Very well kept!
Really loved this hotel! The only downside is that it's in Gulfport and not in Biloxi. The room is super nice!!! Everything is clean and very well taken care of. Never had to buy coffee. Very happy with our stay.
Unfortunately due to bad weather and traffic we got to the hotel late so, being tired, we couldn't enjoy it as much as we wanted. But it was clean, friendly and had a great shower with plenty of hot water so we were good. It was pet friendly and reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good with unexpected great service and a nice friendly waitstaff. All in all a good experience and would recommend it.
My husband and I stayed her June 2017 for the weekend. The service was great! It was clean and looked newly remolded. We will stay here again and recommend it to family and friends. Keep up the good work.
Best property at that price (ever) wish this property was everywhere we stay - Everyone treated us like family - room decor was terrific - surprised with the array of food offered at breakfast - wonderful location (just off I-10) and close to restaurants/airport/etc
The location is near the interstate, not far from the beaches. There are restarants within walking distance. Wendy's is literally on the property. The room was nice and comfortable, I had a double bed with an arm chair and odomon in it. The water pressure in the bathroom was great after a long day at work. The internet was a bit slower than I anticipated, they did fix it and they do have a business center on property. Overall great employees, I gave a 4 on service because of one desk clerk but everyone else was great. The sleep quality in my opinion deserved a 10 star rating.
Super close to many restaurants & shopping. Short drive to beach & casinos. Breakfast was very good and the staff kept everything filled. Courtyard with pool was very relaxing and enclosed making it more intimate since the hotel is on the main hwy -
We were on our way to Mobile when I decided I was too tired to keep driving and pulled off the highway when I saw all the hotels at this exit. Best Western had good reviews, so I went in despite the fact I'm a bit of a hotel snob and don't usually stay anywhere under three stars. I was greeted by a very nice person at the desk who gave me an easy to get to room. It was really inexpensive, and I was a bit worried, but I was only going to stay for a few hours. What a nice surprise to find a modern, clean (very clean, actually) room with comfortable beds. I tried to book a room here again on my return trip, but they were full. I can see why.
Stayed at this BW on a trip to visit my nephew who is in the military. The room was small, but cozy. Definitely not too pricy for the area. Only downfall, was lack of towels. We only had 1 towel on arrival and the room was booked for 3 guests. It took asking 2 different people to finally get more towels. I would stay here again.
An old style motel type where each room has exterior access. Tiny room but clean. Shower had really good water pressure. Bed was comfortable. The major issue is that the location is right on the airport flight path. On the plus side, it is very close to I 10.
We we looking for a place to stay that was close to the airport and on a main thoroughfare. This was just the right stop. The Inn was very attractive. It has a courtyard around the pools with great landscaping, not stuck by the parking lot like many we stay in. The breakfast was awesome. My husband usually skips the offered breakfasts and we find different places to eat. We had our breakfast there everyday of our stay. The staff were very friendly and gracious. Answered all our questions and were very knowledgeable.
Great staff, nice room with jaquizzi plus big hot tub in courtyard. Breakfast is excellent. Price is great. Highly recommend. Close to I-10 and casino access in Biloxi or Gulfport. Room was quiet and clean,
My husband and I stayed at the hotel the night of our wedding and the service was excellent, the room was spacious and the breakfast was amazing. We Will defiantly book with them again. I got an amazing deal on the room.
This hotel is a hometown feeling hotel. They serve a great breakfast in the mornings and the food crew staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. We stay here a few days so we can splurge on other things.
When I check into a hotel that first impression is everything. This BW left a great first impression and continued to impress throughout our stay. First the lobby, spacious, open, well lit and very clean with a friendly clerk greeting as we walked in. The bathrooms in the lobby area were spotless as was the entire lobby area. My very first impression was that the employees really take pride in where they work. Plenty of parking. Our room was very spacious, clean, with comfy beds and right by the pool. Breakfast is amazing, buffet style with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, and assorted cold items. We did not get a chance to swim but the pool and pool area were just a clean as the rest of the hotel. If we are ever in Gulfport again we would definitely stay here. And I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. Great rates, very clean, amazing breakfast sums it up
The staff was efficient and friendly at check in. The rooms were clean and up to date. They are pet friendly and have a large area in the back for dogs. The breakfast had plenty of selections and a friendly staff. Good gym and pool.
Very close to interstate 10, outlet mall, and restaurants. Very clean and affordable. Great breakfast and staff. I wish it was warm out when I stayed because the pool was so enticing. Will definitely stay again.
From our arrival to our departure, the hotel staff was excellent. Everyone made a point of saying hello! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower head. The complimentary breakfast was HUGE, with scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, biscuits with sausage gravy, a nice fruit assortment, and waffles (with the griddle shaped with the Best Western seal!), just to name some of the foods available. A standout was one of the front desk attendants the morning that we checked out. We were having problems with the computers and printer in the business center, and she came in to help us numerous times. As a creative solution to the printer problem, she had us email our boarding passes to her work email account so that she could print them from the printer at the front desk. Not one sign of annoyance towards us -- she was totally committed to assisting us, no matter the amount of time it might take. We would definitely stay here again, and we will recommend the Seaway Inn to our friends and acquaintances :o) P. S. Be aware that the Gulfport area is overflown by jets from the nearby military base, which can be rather loud, but one will hear them at any hotel in the area, not just at this hotel. From our perspective, however, it's the sound of freedom, thanks to our military men and women.
We spent News Years Eve in this hotel. They were very busy but still managed to be kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The room was clean and well furnished. The employees were wonderful
Booked via Hotwire and was disappointed when arriving to find this hotel has OUTSIDE entrances. I do not this type of hotel but this hotel is newly remodeled with nice rooms and comfy beds. The breakfast is much better than usual, also. A great deal, for the price!
I travel to Gulfport on business about six to seven times a year. Always stay at this hotel because I feel it gives me the best value. Also, it is in a good location for getting around the area. The staff is also very helpful.
This is a great place to stay. The staff are very kind and courteous. The hotel has a very beautiful lobby and the rooms are clean and very nice. The Internet, something most people worry about, is great! Very fast speed. My husband and I have been staying at this hotel every year, 2-3 times a year, for the last 3yrs. We would recommend this stay to anyone.
Room has recently been remodeled and they did a beautiful job. It has been updated all except the ac/heating system it is still a system by the window not a central system. In the morning housekeeping goes around banging on doors to find out who is still there.
I've stayed here serval times this hotel has all ways been good. the staff is professional & all ways friendly. the rooms are comfortable & I rest well here . the hotel lobby has been remodeled & looks very good.
This facility has two sides, the good and the not as good. Upon early check-in, our 2 queen room was not ready so the very friendly clerk offered us an option, i.e., 2 full beds vs the 2 queen beds we had reserved ahead of time. We took the offer so we could get settled and make an appointment. The room was the old style, pull up right outside your door type facility. The room was clean and well kept for an older facility. It was well priced and included a frig and microwave. The breakfast was good and I couldn't help but wonder if the cost for our room included the plate stacked high with muffins one of the employees took for herself. This was not the very friendly clerk who checked us in. The door to our room did not work properly. There appeared to be vagrants in the surrounding area, one of which was having an angry discussion outside our door. Our bathroom/vanity floors were somewhat tacky and left footprints wherever we stepped. Other than this we slept well and visited the adjacent Wendy's for our evening meal.
We booked this ahead of time on points on our journey to move to Houston from FL. Because of the horrid weather end of Dec. in FL we had to cancel our res. and then later decided to come a day late bc the weather was still horrid. I called and spoke with Josh from the car and he was a consummate professional and changed all of our reservation info over to the next night! AND I asked if they had a Jacuzzi ( I meant on property) and bc I had told him what we had been thru weather wise to get there he got me the last jacuzzi suite! I am not talking about a tub in the bathroom with a couple of no power jets, I am talking a FULL ON HOT TUB JACUZZI in your living room looking at the tv and room for 2 people! And regular bathroom shower and tub in the other room for the non-believers! We had been so un-believably stressed with a 15 foot u haul towing a SUV and a 90 lb lab in the cab. The room was amazing and I will never forget Josh an=s my BACK hurt so very much from moving that that very night healed me! He is a blessing!
Stayed here in the past heading home from Florida so I decided to stay here again. Clean rooms, clean property, friendly staff. I wasn't disappointed with my choice to stay here again. Will definitely stay here again.
I visited on new years and it was ok. The room was OK, nothing was great about it but the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The room could have been more cleaner. There was cigarette ashes on the carpet, I don't even think the carpet was vacuumed. The bathroom looked OK, looked like they just brush through just to hurry up and get the job done. I wanted to drink the free bottles of water but the rim of the water looked dirty around the bottle. Also they could have sprayed the room to make it smell better. But in all, it was an alright place to stay just for one night rest and then get on out of there. The breakfast wasn't too good either. But no so bad when its free. The ladies that worked in the kitchen could have least smiled when guest fixed there plates. They just watched us like, we was in prison or something. My guy said they looked mean. A nice friendly smile goes a long way.
Great job ! We stopped here on our way to Florida close to the interstate right off the road located near shopping and plenty of restaurants I would definitely stay here again! Great value for the price nice location
Very clean and affordable. Enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was top notch. Lobby was clean and inviting. Room was quiet. Location was easy to find. Close to beach and outlet shopping. Slept very well on the comfy bed. Shower was amazing with great water pressure. Also, liked the fridge and microwave in the room
only there one night went to see the Christmas lites at the park , but staff is excellent, and the breakfast is a hot breakfast, waffles eggs fruit, sausage ..breakfast area was clean and the staff was helpful
We made a last minute stop here to get out out of the rain and watch the football game. We got a great rate for a spacious, clean room with an updated bathroom. Shower water was hot and strong. The shower was spacious but the bathroom itself was very tight. Our room had a couch which was welcome but it was not overly comfortable. We did enjoy the outdoor hot tub but is was too cool to use the large outdoor pool. Breakfast was typical fair. The scrambled eggs were cool and the pastries dry. The biscuits and gravy were the best I have had at a hotel buffet. A tip jar at breakfast was unexpected. We would definitely stay here again.
I will definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling through Gulfport Mississippi very nice truck parking very courteous staff amenities are excellent breakfast is good comfortable men's nicely renovated hotel
The staff was very friendly. My room was very clean and seemed to be well maintained. It was so nice to have a full breakfast too. There was a great place to walk dogs at the back of the hotel with lots of lights to make you feel safe at night. Poop bags and trash cans were provided as well. Excellent!
I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. It was very well priced, clean, good-smelling rooms, good hot breakfast. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. We really appreciated that they are pet friendly. They allowed us to keep our 2 large (laborador-sized) dogs and the pet fee was reasonable. We will definitely be back. Thanks!!!
Friendly staff: housekeeping, front desk and breakfast area everyone was very polite and helpful, the rooms was very clean and the breakfast was awesome. If you every visited the Best Western-Seaway Inn in Gulfport,MS ask for Coco or look for Laura in the breakfast area I will be visited again very soon
The staff here was very pleasant. The renovated lobby was a nicely done. The breakfast was one of the better that I have had at a hotel that serve complimentary breakfast. A very spacious eating area with a nicely set up buffet style line.
Friendly staff in all areas - housekeeping, front desk and breakfast area - everyone was most polite and good natured. Excellent guest facilities, great breakfast, convenient location and very quiet and clean rooms.
Great hotel. Good amenities. Close to the airport with free shuttle service. The value of this hotel is excellent for what you get. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to family, friends or anyone.
This best western has undergone a major facelift. The room was designed with efficiency and comfort in mind. The bed was so comfortable and the water pressure for the shower strong. . Pet friendly is a plus. The value very good, and breakfast offered great choices. A return visit would not be surprising.
This hotel has recently remodeled top to bottom. All common areas inside and out are beautiful, the rooms great! The women in the food service room are very accommodating, do a terrific job, particularly Laura! Sincerely, Nancy Reid Weekend stay !!/10- 13
GREAT place to stay. Very nice hotel, great staff. Very clean. Meet son in town and spent the evening with him. GREAT place for a family to stay. Did not use the pool or hot tub but it was very nice. A must stop.
Ladies at breakfast were delightful and worth so much more to making our morning start off the right way. I cannot compliment these women enough. Wish they would come work at the Best Western here in Navarre.
Good service. employees very friendly and helpful. Place being renovated, and the workers obviously did not know the room was occupied? Kept trying to enter room without knocking and once succeeded! Not good! But, they were very apologetic and it did not happen again. Noise of the renovation was only heard during waking hours, and not sustained, thank goodness! Pretty motel, and rooms very clean and comfortable.
Folks were very nice and we were treated with respect. It would be better if you could turn left out of the parking lot onto Hwy 49. As it is, you have to go to the right and make a U-turn to go north. This is a minimal problem. Not one that would keep from staying there again.
It was great customer service was the best I have seen in a long time.... The breakfast was fresh and variety was more than expected. As far as the room it was very clean and as I stated customer service was great.
This was a great place to stay because if the conference room and closeness of everything. It was 5 minutes from the beach there are restaurants near by and one in the next hotel. The three hotels here are run by the same person and he is very helpful and a great guy.
These facilities are brand newly remodeled and done in excellent taste. All employees seem very well trained to accomodate all guests. Our Goldwing group seem well satisfied with our arrangements. Wonderful experience.
The Inn is under going a facelift but should be completed by the end of October '17. The room was very nice except the bed was uncomfortable, too soft. The lighting in the dressing area was minimal at best. The rest of the room was terrific. The front desk staff were great. The cleaning staff were excellent. The free breakfast was good.
A very clean motel with a very large breakfast rm where the staff greeted you and did everything to make you feel welcome. There was a large selection of breakfast items to choose from. We were there for the MS Gold Wing Motorcycle Rally, and the staff took care of all our needs.
The hotel was in renovation and very busy but everyone, and I mean everyone, was friendly and never passed us without a wonderful Hello and Good Morning. The hot breakfast is absolutely huge and delicious. We always stay here when we get to Gulfport. Even though the hotel was under renovation, the employees were just fabulous.
very nice hotel and staff. rooms were super clean. Breakfast was more than you would usually get at any other hotel. Great waffles...many choices to pick from. the rooms looked recently remodeled. shower was terrific, didnt want to get out of it.
We have stayed here several times and the Breakfast Never disappoints. The staff are Wonderful and the overall cleanliness and friendliness assure that We will stay here again. It was Cruisin the Coast week and there were old cars and muscle cars everywhere. What an awesome stay we had.
Which hose the hotel for the convenience and the rate, so I was extremely and pleasantly surprised to find such a nice room with everything we needed comfy beds and awesome pillows! Would definitely stay there again.
Hotel was being renovated but wasn't terrible. The only issue I encountered was reservation miscommunication. In the end they were accommodating. Hard bed. Wonderful internet. They are one of few hotels that allow smoking anymore.
I just wanted to write a quick review. My family was in Gulfport for Cruising the Coast kick off Oct 1, and we had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western. We've taken many family vacations and stayed at numerous hotels and resorts and in all those years and visits, we've never ever had a hostess/cook show us so much attention, and go above and beyond to make our dining experience so great. Laura as well as co-workers really made our stay. She is amazing!!
I was looking for a place to stay with my dogs as I traveled from Dallas to Florida. The places I called either didn't accept pets or if they did, it was a max of 2 pets or pets that are under 20 pounds. I have 3 dogs and they average 55 pounds each. I figured I would be sleeping in the SUV, since I couldn't do this trip in one day...until I called the Best Western Seaway Inn in Gulfport, MS! I spoke with Joshua, the night manager, who had a room available for a great rate of $59.00 (pre-tax) and this Best Western was willing to have midsize pets stay (there is a charge). I'm usually a bit concerned with hotels/motels that allow pets, because either they are very expensive to allow pets or some have given me a room that past pets might have soiled in or smells of smoke. That was NOT the case here. The hotel is located right off I-10 and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean with a kitchenette and the surroundings safe - they even have a designated area for the pets to go. Later I took the dogs out for a walk and locked myself out of the room (doh!). I walked into the lobby with my dogs (I couldn't leave them outside by themselves) and it was obvious that the staff were animal lovers. Everyone that I encountered working there was kind, the breakfast (which was included) comprised of eggs, breakfast meats, yogurt, toast, oatmeal and juices, coffee and the room had a microwave and fridge. They are doing some painting on the exterior and it looked like some first floor rooms are being updated, but it wasn't noisy. I had a second floor room, felt safe and would stay here again! I'm an advocate of pet owners to treat hotel staff/property with respect when you have animals (knowing some people may not be comfortable around dogs) - if we all did that then maybe more hotels will be open to having larger pets stay. Thank you again BW Seaway Inn!
We really could not have asked for a better experience. There were numerous hotels nearby. We have never stayed with you before. You made us feel special. I will be back. A few days earlier we stayed in a hotel in Lafayette, LA. It was OK but not near the quality of the Seaway Inn. We drove over 500 miles that day and just picked a place that took pets. Thank You!!!
this hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful whenever we ask. the hotel was very clean we know they were renovating but they had it fixed where is was easy to get where we needed tp gp.the food was very good and the dining area was always clean.
Located close to the freeway with a friendly helpful staff who were attentive to me and my concerns. A nice breakfast with waffles. Staff went out of their way to help with requests. Rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave. Did not get to use the pool but it had a fresh and clean appearance.
excellent , clean, nice room. breakfast as good as I've had in a hotel. great rate for this room. I will stay here again when passing through the gulf coast area. I would recommend this to any of y friends. Plenty of eating places close by. The beach is a coupe minutes away. Close to casino and marina.
Although we had to stay here under unfortunate circumstances (evacuating hurricane Irma), the staff were incredibly kind, compassionate and helpful. The rooms were really nice and the internet was a little slow but, the entire hotel was booked so I can imagine the wifi traffic contributed to that. Very convenient location as well, lots of local and chain restaurants near by.
Accommodations were great, even though they were under some construction. Very clean and very comfortable beds, fridge, microwave and granite counters. Even the construction guys were pleasant! Great hot breakfast every morning with a very warm greeting! Those ladies in the dining room almost made us forget why we were there. Lots to do along the Gulf beach, fun restaurants and friendly people!
We had to evacuate for Hurricane Irma. I could not find a hotel that would accept my 90 pound dog. Finally found this hotel. Josh was the night manager. He didn't care how big my dog was, how long we needed to stay, all he cared about was us arriving safe. They charged a flat $60 a night and no pet fee. The room was clean, staff was amazing! Every morning there was a plentiful free breakfast with a very special woman (sorry I didn't get her name) greeting everyone with a smile and asking how we were. This made a very uneasy trip enjoyable. This staff deserves a bonus!!! Keep up the great work. It won't be forgotten.
This was a great & much needed safe harbor from the storm. We evacuated from South FL & the staff has been very helpful, warm & compassionate. Most are very familiar with the details of a hurricane as Katrina hit this town with a hard fury. They have full breakfast bar, waffle stations, cereal bar, eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, coffee, milk, ok, bagels, toaster, cinnamon bread, instant grits & oat meal. Laundry mat area doesn't have soap, but there are Family Dollar & Wal-Mart very close. Small fridge, small microwave in our room. Nice pool, kiddie pool 1 ft deep, 2 outdoor grills to BBQ on, fitness center, business center, Wi-Fi is free with password & a hot tub. Giving this a 5 the price was right - accommodations are excellent.
We stayed at this Best Western because we needed to find a pet-friendly way to get out of Florida for a couple of days during Irma. The location is convenient, nothing special, but right off the highway and a short drive from the beach. What made this an excellent find was the helpfulness of the staff. When we arrived the pull-out sofa in one room needed linens and the other room lacked towels; both appeared within minutes. Then I realized the TV remote in our room was dead; I called the front desk and two people appeared with a remote within about 10 minutes, even though the hotel was busy with numerous other people who were there for the same reason. The rooms were clean - maybe the carpet felt a little old but hey, it's a pet-friendly motel, it gets a lot of wear and tear. Just keep your socks on if it bothers you! There was no odor, either in the room or out in the common areas, despite the large number of animals there (I saw at least a dozen different dogs just on our side of the building). The laundry room and exercise room both appeared to be clean as well. Breakfast was put out on time and was better than expected. All in all an excellent value.
Super nice staff with comfortable beds! It was an overall really great experience. It was accessible to the highway as well which was great for travel! Restaurants were all around too making it easy to get food!
Room was very clean and nicer then expected! It was very small though. In a king bedroom we barely got the babies crib in. The breakfast was delicious. They had so much to choose from! The pool was nice and hot tub was very nice. Great location!!!!! I would most definitely stay here again!
Stayed at the Best Western Seaway Inn for 2 nights on Vacation. It was the wonderful. The room was clean and the AC worked very well. The pool area was clean and nice which was a shock as it was in an outside courtyard. Staff was very friendly!
I was traveling for business. I had been wearing socks and shoes all day. I spent 10 min. barefoot in the room. When I walked to the shower the next morning I saw that I was leaving dirty footprints on the tile. I took a white washcloth and wiped it on the carpet. It came up black. Many of the vehicles in the lot were work trucks. If that is your clientele then you need to clean the carpets more often. The staff was very friendly, not enough to overcome the problems.
The staff went above and beyond in correcting a problem. Cameron treated us great after a long 14 hour drive and when a problem arose, the evening manager helped Cameron take care of it quickly and gave us enough points for a free stay our next visit to any Best Western Hotel in the country. Unexpected but great customer service.
I would like to send a thanks to Ms. Antoinette in housekeeping for making sure we had towels ,water ,and coffee. Another thank you to Ms. Laura in the Cafeteria for starting the morning off in such a great mode. She took our dirty dishes off the table right away and was very friendly. She did a wonderful job. Both ladies were very pleasant. Also a thank you to Mr. Bryant for coming to the rescue and fixing the a/c and replacing the shower rod. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.
Clean rooms, great staff, and a good start in the morning with a good hot breakfast. Have stayed in the Biloxi area several times, this was the first time here, what took me so long. Definitely worth the stay, and I will stay again!
Everything was clean and neat if you had any problems the staff solved it in 3 to 5 minutes. They are quick to respond even maintenance everyone was very friendly and helpful in whatever was asked of them
Will come again soon, so very enjoyable, got our monies worth, beautiful room, quiet, wonderful breakfast, so filling, friendly staff on board, look forward to staying here again next time wonderful staff, wonderful beds, so comfortble, all updated, inside, vanity, etc.
I stayed two nights at the hotel. The room was clean, but VERY small. It had a king size bed that practically took up the entire room. I will say, though, the breakfast was worth the cramped quarters. The staff in the breakfast area was fabulously friendly -- it was clean and the selection was plentiful! There was a mix up with my reservation that I had to get straight, but the manager took care of that once it was brought to his attention -- which was very helpful. The only other thing I would recommend you be prepared for is the noise. I had a room on the inside by the pool -- which was a very nice set up -- but people were down there late and made quite a bit of noise. Luckily, I've had to sleep just feet under the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, so noise can be drowned out by the tv or a/c. If joviality into the late night is your thing, it may not bother you...just be prepared.
This is my second time visiting a Best Western in 30 days and the experience has been HORRIBLE! I used points that I earned for these visits and they have been a complete waste. When we arrived at the Best Western - Seaway Inn, the outside appearance was wonderful and so was the lobby. I knew this was going to be a wonderful experience UNTIL we go it our room and it smelled like urine. I begin to disinfect the room and try to mask the odor however, it did not work. While disinfecting the room we turned the shower on and the water in the bath tub begin to back up. Things only went downhill from there. I pulled back the sheets on the bed and could see a brown spot on the mattress pad through the fitted sheet. Knowing if I was able to see it through the bottom fitted sheet house keeping should've seen it as well. As I removed the bottom fitted sheet there were numerous brown spots that looked like someone had pissed in the bed!!!!!! I immediately went down stairs to the front desk. Once I arrived the young man on duty, Jordan I believe was his named informed me he wasn't sure if he could move me to another room because we were staying another night and when the other guest arrived they would be pissed off because they wouldn't be in the correct room. Therefore, I asked was someone else available and he said yes, he was going to go get his manager because he didn't know how to resolve this issue. His manager came and had a very nonchalant attitude about the issue and said well we will move you. He then proceeded to follow me to the room to verify I wasn't telling a fib about what was in the room. When we arrived back to the room the maintenance guy was there. The manager then asked for me to show him the spots as if he was unable to see this spots on the mattress. We left him in the room and moved to the new room he assigned only to see bugs plastered all over the walls. Some were dead and others were alive. I became so furious with the room til we decided to go stay at the Holiday Inn next door. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I have EVER HAD! I lost my points that I literally had earned with my hard-earned money by paying to stay at Best Western. Not once but TWICE in a month. I will never stay at another best western after these two experiences and will advise others to do the same.
Nice hotel and great location lots of truck parking and food and shopping is in walking distance to the hotel I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to or through Gulfport Corporate Lodging is a price
Our check in was quick and efficient...room was excellent. The only problem was the express check out which I was told I could do from the room. On calling the front desk there was no answer and when I went to the front desk there was no one there - only a number to call, which I did, but still did not get a reply. I had to wait for half an hour until someone showed up and when I complained, was not even offered an apology.
The only problem I had at all with this stay was the second room I had reserved had no towels when I had specifically asked for extra. The drink machines took my money and did not have half the drinks in stock. But other than that the room was clean didn't have an odor. I can say it was still a nice stay.
overall the service and cleanliness of the hotel very good. Staff is friendly and curteous. The only problem i had this time over all the other times I stayed here is they had cancelled my room for some unknown reason.I was compensated with a lesser room than what I had reserved. This time I might say my bad for not verifying my reservation as i was told it wasn't necessary. Wont happen again.
Very nice room but a little pricey for a pretty basic room. There was no "sleeping in" there.I woke up at 8:45 to a saw being used on the wall to the next room and hammering. This went on for about an hour or so.
Very reasonably priced, very comfortable beds, would like an extra chair in corner. Breakfast was very good. Enjoyed stay. the motel was located near restaurants. Employees were very polite and helpful.
Hotel was nice and staff very welcoming. The rooms were clean and had everything in them you needed. Grounds kept up and clean and great location with shopping and food and right off major travel interstate. Easy to access and felt very safe. Something very important to me. Clean and safe and very accommodating staff. Breakfast was such a treat. many options and great eat in seating to enjoy. This was our first stay at this location but we will use again.
We stayed three nights while on a short vacation to the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly (especially Jordan at the front desk and the gentleman in the breakfast room), the free hot breakfast was awesome, and the pool was well maintained and clean. We had an all around great experience. It is centrally located with anything you need close by. The beach is four miles away and is perfect for kids.
Nice property. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. GREAT breakfast. Seems like they take pride in their property. Safe place to stay. I would definitely stay there again. Free shuttle to the Island View Casino too.
Beds were so comfortable. The room was very clean .They even bought extra toilet paper to our room right away when we asked. Breakfast was great love biscuits and gravy.Very friendly staff.Right by the outlet mall and Mugshots.
Nice quiet place to stay and about 10 minutes to closest casino. Excellent breakfast and competent front desk and maid service. employees made a good stay a great stay.Plenty of other places to eat in this location as well as get gas on your way out.Our pets were very comfortable here and my wife and I can sure see us coming back to stay here again.
The hotel and the rooms were very clean and very well kept. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The grounds were also very clean and beautiful. They have a large variety of breakfast items buffet style. The buffet had everything from eggs, sausages, biscuits, gravy, waffles, pastries, cereals, yogurts, and much more!
Our family stays here every year. Breakfast is always a delight. Pool was awesome. The staff was very friendly. Only one issue, the night before our checkout, the night manager booked our room to someone else and a family tried to come in our room. Good thing no one was getting dressed at the time. Apparently there was a mixup with the reservation. No one took responsibility for it. Oh well.
we was just traveling thought Mississippi and was there was a Casino in that state we stoped to try it out and we did like it so styaed at Best western for the night the people at the hotel was great and helped us to get where we had to go
Could have rated better if they watched who uses the pool, lots of wild school kids who weren't staying at the Motel were swimming every afternoon. There also is a lot of planes flying over since the airport is nearby, but we didn't even hear them in our room. They have a really good breakfast also.
The best value I have experienced in a hotel in many years! Exceeded my expectations overall. Superior to hotels where I have paid 4 times the rate. Highly recommend this property for business or pleasure. If you have children you can't beat the convenience and the quality of the free breakfast. .
I did not have any problems are concern with my stay at the Best Western. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and on point. The housekeeping staff was extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed the comfort of my bed and the ability to take a nice hot shower. The grounds, the pool area, the lobby, the dining area, and my room were clean and I had a excellent experience.
I love staying at this hotel. I have been staying here for the last 3 summer vacations my family and I have taken. Customer service is always excellent; staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are always clean, lovely decor, and all the amenities work. The hotel is conveniently located on a major strip and is near to everything, restaurants, shopping, the beach, etc. The swimming pool is always clean. I have never seen any bugs at this hotel and that is important to me; I can't stand insects. The price is very reasonable as well, not ridiculously overpriced like other hotels. The only con I experienced here is the wifi did not work too well for me. My phone did not work in my room and at the pool. It only worked in the front of the hotel. If they were to get better wifi, this would be the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend anyone to stay here especially if you're on a budget and can't pay much.
Housekeeping needs to be more organized and needs more storage space for towels. TV not clearly visible with dresser in the way of bed by the wall. Coffee never available in lobby, always empty. Otherwise bed extremely comfortable.
The hotel was in a nice location near food and shopping malls and close to the airport. The cleaning service did not come early so you could sleep in. Security was visible. I would have liked to have a late night or early morning swim but rooms were around the pool and pool closed at 10:00 sharp until 10:00 A.M.
They have been in the process of updating this hotel for the last year. They have done a wonderful job. The rooms are very comfortable and very reasonable. Free full breakfast, great desk people and housekeeping. For the money this is the best deal and a great location off I-10 near downtown and the beaches.
The room was nice, but I wasn't comfortable with the environment. I've never been to a hotel that has grills by the pool area. There was a party going on and people were grilling and playing cards. I've never ever seen this at a hotel before.
The hotel is in a very good location if you need to get to the airport (only about 5 minutes drive). It is also very close to the interstate and a ton of shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable enough and the breakfast is a good spread. Most places have one waffle maker but here there are 3, so I can't imagine too long of a wait even at the most busiest of times! You do get some noise from the airplanes but not from the traffic on I-10. Then again I'm sure a few people staying here because of it's proximity to the airport so can one really complain about the airplane noise? You do get a lot of noise from guests in other rooms, which is a little disappointing. The other thing of note is that the shower curtain is woefully small and thus when taking a shower the water gets all over the bathroom floor. I would think this is something the hotel would want to fix. All in all I would recommend a stay here as the price and location are pretty good for the area.
The breakfast was wayyyy more than the normal pastry & muffin selection...and it was FREE!!! The bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area was great for my family b/c their was a regular pool, kiddie pool, & hot tub. Room was clean & had microwave and refrigerator. Several ice makers & drink machines on site which made our trips to the beach really easy. Location was wonderful! Great hotel especially for the price!
I stayed here for a week long business trip and brought my wife along. The front desk staff was nice upon arrival and throughout our stay so I want to give credit where it's due. However, I can't recommend staying here. I originally chose this place because previous reviews said it was quiet. I found quite the opposite, so I felt the need to forewarn others. The exterior room entrances on the pool side were problematic. Nearly every night there were unattended nine and ten year old children of other guests running rampant an screaming and carrying on late into the night (think midnight). We called the front desk to complain but there was only so much they could do. They said they would send security but told me he was making his rounds. If the hotel had full time dedicated security or could otherwise keep inconsiderate guests under control, it probably would've been a better place to stay and a decent bargain. But with the late night disruptions from other guests and the resulting frustrations and poor nights of sleep, it's probably worth it to pay a little more and stay elsewhere.
Very pleased with the complete package from service to accommodations. Will definitely utilize these accomodations again. Staff and property were very convenient and fully serviceable. Will use this facility again next year!
Highly recommended will definitely stay again thank you did not get a chance to use the pool but will try next time love the new face lift ! ( loved the extra amenities) the check in was very efficient
Very nice hot breakfast items. Outdoor pool was very nice in summer. The staff were friendly. Drains in room were draining very slowly. Room was missing card that showed TV channels. Fantastic value for the money we paid.
some friends had told us they wouldn't stay at a best western because they were nasty. they decided to stay at a more expensive hotel. they visited us at best western and to their surprise, our room was 100x nicer than theirs.
We were in Gulfport for daughter wedding. We needed our room early. We called expressing our needs. They got our room cleaned as asson as occupants vacated it and called us to let us know we could check in. Kudo's to Jordon. Then two other family members needed rooms. They had rooms and were able to make us all happy!!!!
The rooms are nice enough, considering what we paid. It was clean and fairly comfy, but the AC was louder than I've ever heard. It rattled loudly all night and neither my husband or I ever fully fell asleep. I spent my days there because my husband had business and going outside to avoid said loud AC didn't prove to be any better. Planes continually flew over the hotel so low you could see every detail on them. Also there was construction going on, which at the time involved sawing into metal which was really loud! If you don't mind noise, this is a nice place to stay, but I didn't enjoy my time unfortunately. You get free breakfast too, if that seals the deal.
very clean rooms, great front desk service and breakfast for the price i got double. I frequent Best Western as Im a diamond member, this is one of my favorite stops. Will continue to stay here on a weekly basis.
I had to stay overnight due to the tropical storm, on my way home to NC. the ease of reservations and check in was great. I was extremely tired traveling from Texas. My son and I needed to rest before getting on I10. I was surprised how comfortable and family friendly it was. Thanks for the stay
We loved staying at this Best Western, it was so charming and clean. The staff was wonderful to us and the breakfast was delicious. We especially loved the comfort of our room. We plan on staying here again on future trips..
I stay at a lot of Best Western hotels for business and this hotel was one of the best. Great stay with friendly staff. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've every had at a Best Western. Lots of variety.
Check-in was efficient. After checking in, we left for a few hours, upon our return the room cards wouldn't work - it was a long walk back down to the office. Once in room, there is no book with hotel info or TV channel information. Called down to office, said we could come down and get a TV channel list, said no, we were just there and didn't feel like walking back. The young man then said he would bring one up to us! Wow, that was great customer service. The minus' for us was the showerhead and no towel bars. Seems most hotels are going this way and just putting the towels on shelves below the sink countertop. Once you use them, where are you to put the wet washcloth and hand towel? Do not like laying them on the counter. Bed was okay and AC worked great. The hotel pool was very busy that night but noise didn't really bother us and we were on the 2nd floor above the pool. What we didn't like was having to walk past the customers sitting out smoking at the tables around the pool. For the price, we were okay for one night but wouldn't stay for longer.
Amazing staff, clean, comfortable and delicious breakfast! the room is beautiful and I will always stay here at this Best Western Seaway Inn I recommend it to all my family and friends. If you are looking for great place then look no further!
For the price I paid on Hotwire, it was an excellent value. Clean, nicely decorated rooms with fridge and microwave. Nice lobby and good breakfast. It looks like a motel, but it was quiet on the inner ring of rooms. It was super convenient to I10 as it was about a block away from the 34A exit at Gulfport. Super friendly staff. I would stay here again for a budget hotel stay.
Upon check-in we were informed that a water pipe was broken so the water was turned off for the entire hotel. We asked when the water would be back on and the management said they didn't know, but it would be sometime that day. Upon returning from dinner the water was back on-thankfully! The room had a cigarette odor even though it was labeled, "non-smoking." The overall appearance of the room was clean. I did notice a cigarette burn on one of the bed covers, and the bathtub was slightly stained.
Nice hotel clean, nice staff. Only issues I had when I checked in 6/9/17 there was no running water city issue and hour wait for towels and loud music and partying at pool area and I was in a room facing the pool too so that was kind of aggravating could not look at tv or relax with all the noise. Overall I would stay again but not near the pool again!
Super impressed with the accommodations in this price bracket. We normally pay double for this quality. The first room we were given still had visitors in it, so they waived our pet fee just for the inconvenience. Customer Service! Imagine that! Our room was very nice and clean. We loved having the mini frig and microwave. I can't compliment the breakfast staff enough, so we left them a $5 tip. They were very attentive to keeping the buffet stocked and everything wiped down and clean.
We stayed one night in a pet friendly room on the second floor pool side. The room was a tad small but manageable for one night. The mattress seemed to be older but not too uncomfortable. The staff was very accommodating. We asked for extra pillows and some towels and we received them within 5 minutes. The room was clean. There was a party going on by the pool with very loud music and partying. It kept us awake till it shut down about 10:30 ish.
We read reviews and decided to come to this Gulfport location based on the fact that it had been newly renovated We were pleasantly surprised by the clean comfortable space with attention to travelers on the go. I appreciated the new open vanity with space for toiletries to be stored underneath the surface. The hallways /walkways were open to pool and there were tables and chairs for guests to enjoy the Gulfport weather All in all I would highly recommend this location!
Good Value For Gulfport and Close By The Interstate and Beaches Nearby A Average Breakfast Was Very Hot But Selection Was Very Bland Close By Dining Shopping Within Walking Distance Beaches Waterparks Very Clean Property Good Value Very Convient Location I Will Be Back To Stay Again Only Complaint Is That Airplanes Fly Frequently Over The Property Since Its Close To The Airport Very Well Maintained Landscaped Property And Nice Pool Area With BBQ grills and lounge area well lit at night time And the Deluxe King Room With The Hottub Was Amazing
There were cockroaches in the room. While I was there the staff did not seem to do anything to alleviate the problem. I reported the problem to the staff several times hoping that they would do something to alleviate the problem but nothing ever seem to get done.
I enjoyed this hotel - was able to get adjoining rooms for family. The pool was wonderful - large pool, hot tub and child's pool all of which were clean and wonderful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Had a great time good good wifi and slept great . Will definitely stay again!!loved the pool and laundry room as well. Friends loved it maid service was awesome too! Breakfast biscuits and gravy I highly recommend.
Best hotel for family with children. Nice, clean rooms. Professional and very, very nice front staff. We made friends with other patrons. Kids had fun in pool, while we enjoyed jacuzzi. We really enjoyed our vacation. The only issue I had was with the window. There were no curtains to cover the windows to block the light during the night.
Our room was big, beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet (even though right next to the pool). The staff was friendly and efficient. A special hats-off to the young man at the front desk who at check-in recommended a local Mexican restaurant and even took the time to look up the address for us on his computer. The breakfast waffles and orange juice were good. I particularly enjoyed the dark roast coffee available in our room.
This was great quality at an affordable price. Family oriented and only 5 min from beaches. The continental breakfast was great with hot items! The pool and hot tub area was clean with plenty of tables/chair. Will bring my family back.
Great value, clean, comfortable room! Easy to find and close to several attractions and restaurants. I would stay here again, and I would recommend it to others. Staff was extremely helpful in securing tickets to Ship Island excursion.
This hotel was wonderful. We had a first floor suite. There was a covered patio with tables and chairs outside our door. There was a beautiful pool and hot tub within feet of our door. My grandchildren had a great time swimming. The price was very reasonable.
This hotel was another stay for about $60+ during our roadshow from ME to CA. The room was very nice, very clean and absolutely no evidence of smoke in the room. We had a bit of a snafu in the reservation date made online via TripAdvisor the day before, but the staff were very accommodating and we were "in like flint" in no time. The hotel has as part of its amenities a very large pool located in the center-court area. It happened to be a very busy weekend for graduations etc. so there were many kids and family in the pool until quite late (after the 10PM quiet time), but the noise was not too disagreeable because of the fun being had by the kids. The full breakfast was great in the morning with eggs, pastries and very good sausage gravy to top everything off. Great stay, but the problem with the TripAdvisor program inadvertently input an incorrect date of stay that could have meant big trouble. Thanks to the staff for fixing us up. TA should take a look at their program to fix the glitch.
This is a nice looking property still going through some updates. My room was very nice & comfortable. I was on business but would stay here for pleasure without hesitation. The breakfast was pretty average but there was decent hot food. The bed was excellent as were the room amenities.
We'll start with the good stuff. The hotel is very clean, and very comfortable. It's a great place for a single night stay. Sadly, not for multiple nights. At least in our room (509) A couple of things I'm going to mention are not the hotel's fault, but you need to know so you can be prepared. First, the place is on an approach path to the airport. The traffic dies down at around 10am, but it starts right back up around 8am. It is also very close to Railroad tracks that stay busy most of the day and ramp back up early in the morning. Your gonna want earplugs, maybe. I didn't, but I grew up on a flight path, and like trains. I can also sleep through nearly anything. As I said, the hotel can not do anything about these issues. On the other hand, in this room, the following needs done: Shower curtain is too short. Water slips past, making the bathroom floor slick The shower head only has one setting, and it's a "massage" setting The bath towels are in a whole different room The A/C was iffy. We had to leave it at 66 to keep the fan running. The desk chair was too short when at its full height. (This is becoming a regular problem with BW)
Amanda, the clerk on check in/out was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The pool area was just beautiful. The hotel is well located right off the interstate, yet just a few minutes from the beaches. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe staying at this Best Western, you just can't beat the value for the price of the room, and I will happily stay there again!
So not worth the stay dirty room no hot water which was known before checkin and wasn't informed. They was suppose to transfer my money to the other hotel and instead I was charged by both and it is now a week later and I have yet to be refunded by either party
After a couple of expensive and non-rewarding stays along the Florida panhandle the Seaway Inn was a refreshing change - being both reasonably priced and an attractive site. The staff was helpful and friendly. The one negative was that there is some construction going on in part of the facility, but that did not effect our room or the facilities for the breakfast.
We've stayed at 17 hotels so far this year. This was one of our favorites. Attractive hotel, excellent customer service and good breakfast. Exterior corridors, which is a feature we look for, and there's a good space behind the hotel for dogs. There are multiple sets of tables and chairs on both levels outside around the courtyard for socializing and relaxing. We were able to walk to the restaurant next door for dinner so we didn't have to get in the car again till we checked out, at which time we were able to get gas almost across the street before getting back on the interstate. Very convenient and easy to find location.
This was our second stay at a Best Western and by for the best. Located off Interstate 10, near Gulfport Outlet, a short distance from the beach and restaurants are close. Our room was clean and fresh. The pool was clear and the hot tub was warm and cozy, even the little ones enjoyed it. The employees and staff was friendly and polite. Thanks for a great stay.
My stay at Best Western was very comfy and my family and I felt very safe. We travel to the gulf coast every year around the same time and next year we plan to make Best Western our spot to stay. We enjoyed it
A trip with family to help with crawfish festival. Rooms were very clean and employees were all very nice. Pool was very spacious and hot tub was awesome. Only thing I didn't like and got a little upset about is that one employee lock the pool an hour and a half early on Sunday night
The hotel staff was very friendly! Phenomenal breakfast! We will return when we travel to Gulfport. Very clean facility. We were happy to hear pets are welcome so we can bring our four-legged friends next time!
This was a quick stop off for 1 night. We were impressed, clean freshly painted rooms, carpets, furniture. The beds were comfortable. The staff very kind, caring and could not do enough for us. The breakfast room is huge, with hot and cold food, fresh fruit. I particularly liked their milk is so cold as it's in a self dispense fridge. White clean thick towels and enough of them in our room,Instant hot water. Fast internet in room. To top it off the cost for a our stay was a shock. So very inexpensive, the staff member also asked if we had military experience, triple AAA member etc for a discount. You will not be disappointed. This is a MUST STAY here.
The room was just like in the pictures. I had no real big complaint except for when I asked for more towels to be placed in our room that afternoon, while we were out, we never received them at all that day or even in the morning. The jacuzzi jets weren't working when we got there but it was fixed shortly after we told them about it and was working wonderfully.
Guest organized outside our room ,drinking very loud. Called mgr at 11 and again at 1. Group dispensed around 1:30 am. Mark assured me on second call he would send security to request guest go to there rooms. At checkout I spoke to Mark again he never apologized. Shower drain clogged.
I decided to stay in town for the night and it was no trouble getting a room with a good rate. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, even with it being a busy time. I was asked if I wanted a room by the pool. The room was very comfortable but with an awkwardly placed refrigerator. The door opening was against a wall that had a full length mirror with large frame. It bumped and had to be moved a little to open it. Occasional plane noise was heard in the early evening. Good breakfast buffet. But the morning desk staff did not have change for a $20. I like to tip, and had to go back to my room for a smaller bill. I would stay there again, being sure I brought my own tipping money.
Would recommend this motel to anyone wanting a nice comfortable room. Very nice and clean. Close to all kinds of businesses and within walking distance to shopping outlets and lots of good restaurants. Close to the beach also.
Beds were uncomfortable. Comforters not thick enough, matress uncomfortable and pillows uncomfortable. The front desk clerk at check out was not friendly nor helpful. She was not professional nor did she seem to care. She acted like she didn't want to help us or do anything for us. She actually made us feel very uncomfortable with her don't care attitude.
The room was spacious enough for leaving out suitcase. The TV may take some figuring out. The tub in the normal rooms is large enough for a comfortable bath. The towels are nice and thick. The replugged the lamps to be able to use my laptop more comfortably. The hotel staff made sure guests are not too loud. The breakfast was typical items for Best Western which provides healthy and filling options. The pool area did not have many towels despite the few amount of guests, but they are clean. The location is in good walking distance to a variety of places. There was even a shuttle to go to the outlet. My negatives were the front desk staff not doing something even communicating while I waited an hour for my room to be ready. The hot tub would not work past 5 minutes, and I received no message after contacting them for the issue.
The hotel is fine, the employees are great & I was very pleased with my regular stays there, traveling for business, until...bugs! Roaches & their babies on my last 2 stays at this property, weeks apart, tells me that there is an infestation. It's a shame, as it would be ideal if not for the roaches
This was a quick getaway, and we booked the room with the jacuzzi tub in the room. The room decor was nice and clean but there was a strong moldy odor. I bought Lysol and I believe there must be a leak because the floor under the carpet was wet. Breakfast was just ok, I have had better and worse at other BWs.
This hotel had great friendly workers and the rooms were great! They were very clean and bed was so comfy! The breakfast was good but you're also so close to many food places. It was really great priced for being close to the gulf! Would differently stay again!
My room was clean but the carpet had a pee smell to it and I seen like 2-3 roaches crawling on the night stand and wall...other than those issues my stay was very well pleasant and I will book again!!
Though not on the beach, this motel is very conveniently located to all the attractions my family visited in the Gulfport area. The room was very clean and we were pleased with the amenities, such as in-room fridge and microwave. The breakfast was nicely laid out and delicious. I advise asking for a room facing the pool rather than facing the parking lot.
This is my 2nd stay here. Both times I found the staff helpful and friendly. I got just the room I requested. I like the ground floor with parking right in front of my room. It's much easier to load and unload especially for an older person, such as myself. Will stay here next time, schedule permitting.
The Hotel was under construction and a little dusty and noisey. By 5 pm they were finished. overall the room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The employees friendly and polite. The breakfast was cold and tasteless. But it was a nice varieity of things to choose from.
A reservation problem with Best Western's 800 number turned into a positive experience thanks to Tiffany at the front desk. She was welcoming, caring and took positive action to resolve our concerns. We will be back!
Initally, upon our arrival at the Best Western Seaway Inn for an overnight stop on a recent road trip, everything appeared normal and uneventful. The lobby looked refurbished and clean. We were given a room (619) at the back, facing west, on the 2nd floor. The room was freshly painted with new furniture. Everything appeared normal, but this peaceful feeling did not last long. About one hour after our arrival, we experienced a cockroach infestation, the likes of which we have never seen anywhere. There were 6 separate cockroach sightings in the first two hours of our stay. Printed words cannot convey the surprise, disgust, and revulsion we experienced upon seeing these disease-bearing insects, over and over again, in both the sleeping area, the kitchenette, and on personal items. The first cockroach was on the floor between the double beds. Upon discovery it scooted under the bed frame. Another roach appeared on a glass filled with ginger ale which my wife was about to drink. I noticed a third roach scurrying along the marble ledge near the bathroom sink. Then a fourth roach was spotted crawling on the outside of the tissue dispenser on the nightstand between the queen beds. The fifth sighting was near the ceiling at the top edge of the kitchenette cabinet. The last roach was sighted running under the mini-fridge as my wife was on her way to the front desk to complain. The desk clerk at the Best Western Seaway Inn, when informed about the infestation, without a hint of surprise or alarm, offered to spray the room with insecticide!! Not wanting to be exposed to smelly and toxic roach spray, we demanded to be moved to a different (bug-free) room. We were moved to 209. The clerk gave us the business card of the manager and gave us his sincere assurances that the manager would call us on Monday to discuss the incident. But no one ever called us back. They have our home number and cell numbers, in addition to our email address. I waited a full two weeks with no contact before posting my review here, and on other major travel websites. It appears no one at Best Western cares to discuss this third world nightmare we experienced. It's an everyday occurrence to them. Perhaps they hoped that we would forget about our cockroach infestation, and not tell anyone else. Big mistake! I have attached photos of the Best Western cockroaches referenced here, along with some additional visual evidence of our horrible experience. Hopefully this review will attract the attention of anyone thinking of booking a room here. (I also have movies of the roaches but unfortunately the *.mov format is not supported by Tripadvisor.) We are certainly not the first ones to complain. Just read several of the previous reviews reporting a bug problem, always with a response by the management that state the cockroach problem was subsequently (and permanently) resolved. Obviously they need to greatly expand the scope of their extermination efforts, since the reviews haven't changed over a period of several months. I feel I deserve a full refund and a written apology from corporate management. I paid for CLEAN, safe accommodations. Best Western is a big company and they can well afford to fix their unsanitary lodging which endangers public health and is a PR nightmare. In my opinion, if the corporate owner/franchisee truly cares about ensuring the health and safety of customers, the entire Best Western Seaway Inn structure (see attached room map) should be thoroughly FUMIGATED, and then inspected by state-certified independent third party experts who attest in writing no bugs anywhere in the building.
great rooms, service & breakfast, would surely stay again !! also a great location !! staff were helpful & friendly !! this property is a great Best Western !! would highly recommend this motel to everyone !!
We have stayed at this hotel many times. We always book it when we visit Gulfport. They renovate often, continuing to improve the facility. The location is great. The breakfast is very good. It's easy to get to, and it's a comfortable, homey hotel.
Stayed here in March, 2016 and it was great! But this time (Sept), they were remodeling so construction caused a few problems but worse was small bugs (roach like) in the two rooms we occupied. This could be related to the construction but don't like bugs! Staff, however, were nice & friendly.
Normally the stay is better at this location, but the remodeling this year made the stay a good deal less pleasant. And they still jacked up the prices for Friday and Saturday to about $200, should have been reduced with all that work in the way. It was hard to find your way to the breakfast and temporary lobby.
Horrible. Not sure how it gets good reviews. Roaches, although small seen crawling in room. It isn't the worst room I have stayed in terms of stains, etc but roaches are not what I want to see in my room.
We had a one night stay on the ground floor facing parking lot. Workers were sanding on steps for way into the night (past working hours!)- you would think they would put their guests away from the ruckus while they had majority of open rooms. The room was clean enough, price was decent, but roaches in the room-ooh, and also our alarm clock wasn't plugged in but... at least it worked. The fridge and micro were nice. The office is very unclear and laid out poorly. Was a good locale right off highway but wouldn't stay again. For a Best Western it was quite a let down compared to the great quality they provide elsewhere.
We got in very late and they offered us a late check out right away. THe room, bed, breakfast all were great. THe price was good and the service was great. The breakfast was great. There was a nice variety and the food was fresh and hot. THe room itself was clean and comfortable. We love BW and stay in one every chance we get. We also belong to the BW club and have used the free rooms many times.
We decided to make a Sunday night concert in Biloxi into a 2 day, mini getaway. We booked a king suite with a hot tub. Upon arriving at about 3:45, we found that our room was not quite ready. They offered a downgrade but we declined. They got our room together quickly -it took about 30 minutes - and our check in was very easy. Every staff member was very polite and courteous. Our room was very comfortable and clean...our stay was really pleasant, on the whole. Housekeeping comes early...so make aure you place your DND sign on your door....just a heads up. Breakfast was great. Lobby is being renovated so that was a little messy. I wish this place was closer to more attractions, but we will more than likely be back. Thanks!!
Used this hotel for the last four years when attending Crusin the Coast. The housekeeping staff is great. Always greeting us with a "Good morning & have a great day" every morning. They always asked us if we needed extra towels and so happy to accommodate us. The breakfast was really good. We have recommended this place to others and they have been really pleased also. Looking forward to next year.
This hotel was undergoing renovations. It was a liitle out of the way for the lobby and front desk. The room we stayed in had a king bed with a jacuzzi tub in the room also. It was very nice. The bed was comfortable. I liked that the toilet and tub/shower had a door and a vent that stayed on. The vanity was not in with the toilet and tub/shower which is nice because I was able to get ready while my husband took a shower without having the mirrors fog up. I am looking forward to seeing the property after the renovations are complete.
I have stayed frequently at Best Western and enjoy the brand. This hotel is in the process of having the lobby remodeled. The hotel is a courtyard style with rooms around the pool. Parking is distant from your room and has no secure entry. Anyone can walk by the room. The receptionist said they had security but I didn't see it. The room was clean but musty smelling. Next to Hooters with easy access off the highway. The room was not the right one for us.
I came to write a review of this hotel and saw a previous review where the writer said there were 'bed Bugs !!,Mold/Mildew' etc. Honestly, I saw no trace of any such thing. Our room was clean and of a reasonable size for two people.fresh towels every day,a reasonable breakfast supplied, staff were very pleasant and helpful.Im wondering if that person sayed at the same Hotel?.For the reasonable price,it was good for the money and I would stay there again.
Booked this hotel through Price line Express deals. First problem Price line falsely advertised this express deal as a 8/10 positive review hotel. Once purchased it was in fact 7.9. In all my experiences with price line they do not round up. Well we got to hotel late. Were tired and went to bed. Next morning when we really looked at the room. Wow, dried urine all around back of toilet lid. Mold, mildew on ceiling and all around tub. Trash not removed from room. Floors filthy. Had bites all over. We called the front desk told the clerk the condition of the room and why we were checking out early. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. I filed a complaint with price line only to be told that they contacted the hotel for a refund and was told that we did not complain. What a joke. Front desk clerk lied. We were clear on why we were leaving. We were in room 107 and I'll post a few Pictures.
Hotel was OK. This was a last minute stay. Room and bathroom was to small for a family of 4. With 2 children there wasn't enough room. It's ok for a couple are 4 adults. If had to stay there again I would request an outer room instead of one at the common meeting area and stairs.
Booked two rooms for one night on our way back home from Florida. The hotel is located right off of the Interstate and when we arrived around 10:30 pm on a Saturday night we found the parking lot full of people just wandering around. One person approached my son asking if he knew where to buy drugs. They were renovating the lobby so we had to follow some signs with arrows pointing the way to check in which was a bit confusing. Once we got into the rooms, we found them nice and clean. Check in staff were nice and courteous, beds were comfortable. Skipped the breakfast that they offer due to the parking lot incident, we wanted to make sure and leave there safely. The hotel is okay, just beware of your surroundings if you stay here.
Eight years ago we stayed in this hotel and never planned to again due to the very disappointing condition of the hotel. This trip to that same area, we noted the hotel had a Best Western Plus rating and claimed to have been updated in the last couple years, so decided to try the hotel again – with a Plus rating and updating we thought it would surely be a better experience. On check-in we noted the lobby was being remodeled and construction zones are just what they are, so no problem there. The staff was completely unwelcoming. We got our keys and requested additional coffee packs. We were told they would be delivered to the room. We went to the room to drop our bags and then left for several hours. The room was small but met our needs. When we returned, no coffee was there. Back to the lobby, we were told the coffee couldn't be delivered as no keys were available, no coffee was kept at the front desk and they would deliver it to the room. Based on the earlier unfulfilled promise we waited in the lobby approximately 15 – 20 min for the coffee. The next morning we left very early and did not return until very late evening. The room was just as we'd left it...no fresh towels, no coffee, no bed service, no toiletries, nothing. It was very late and we were very tired, so went to sleep and left the next morning. I am a longstanding Diamond member and have spent much time in Best Western hotels across the country and in Europe. In my opinion, this hotel is not Plus quality and is a truly disappointing representation of the Best Western name.
My husband and I only stayed here one night but the room was clean and it was up to date the bed was comfortable the price was great the people at the front desk were and very helpful and very nice over all we had a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone
I enjoy my stay at Best Western, but I did have a few problems. The internet suck and we had a Ant problem when sitting on the patio. We purchase bleach and spray bottle from the Walmart. They did take out the entire amount ahead of my stay. Other then that it was a nice stay. Life to short to sweat little things.
clean room, friendly staff, easy check in and out, good breakfast, good location, comfortable beds, did see cockroaches around sink but didn't report it,they were steam cleaning rooms around us so I think they will solve that problem
We got to the hotel and checked in the lady Susan was very nice and helpful and when we went to the 2 rooms that we booked both rooms were not clean and they were clawing with roaches as soon as we flipped on the lights. They were clawing all up the walls and when we went to our 2nd room it was even worse. We went back to the front desk and told them and then while we were being refunded there was a roach clawing across the desk. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. We were approached by a male outside begging for money and telling a story about just getting out of prison. They handled it right away but we did not stay there we left and got a refund. Not saying everyone's experience would be this awful but ours sure was and I won't be back.
Pulled in for a night without a reservation. Was charged approximately $149 for the night. Lobby was undergoing renovation. Didn't use the pool or other amenities. Complimentary bottles of water was a nice touch. Hotel is in a flight path. The room appeared nicely renovated, at first. As I was getting ready for bed, I noticed the mirrors were filthy and someone's old used soap was left on the grab bar in the shower. There was no towel rack or hooks to hang wet towels. No facecloths were provided. Dirty marks on the walls. When I turned down the bed I saw a stain through the sheet, which prompted me to look at the mattress, which was so stained I could not sleep in the bed. (I don't understand how the mattress was kept in service! Housekeeping should have noticed it, reported it and the mattress should have been replaced before offering the room to a guest.) I called down to the front desk to ask someone to come to the room. (I was told there was no night manager on duty.) A young lady came and took pictures and got us another room. She was so helpful and understanding. They reduced our nightly rate by $50, which was a nice gesture. The area where they served breakfast was very spacious and the offerings were typical of a Best Western. I won't be staying there again. Lack of cleanliness negates any upgrade done in a room. It makes me wonder how a Best Western hotel is assigned a "Plus" designation.
Although the room was smallish, it was CLEAN, which I appreciated. The bed was firm, but not stiff. The air conditioner was very good, and not too noisy. The shower could have used a little more pressure, but the stream was adequate. I really liked your breakfast bar. The food was hot, tasty and plenty. Overall, I believe the place to be a bargain when compared to the casino rooms.
The room was clean and the pool was nice, but our room was not made up after the first night. There were three of us in one room and we only had two towels. We requested extra towels which were never brought. We had to track down a housekeeper, and she acted like we were trying to steal towels. She made us explain why we needed the towels, made us sign for the towels, and told us she was keeping track of how many towels we had in the room. The refrigerator worked but the temperature control knob was broken. Also this hotel is right in the flight path for the airport and right next to railroad tracks.
This place was pet friendly and close to the casinos on the Gulf Coast. The Breakfast was first rate and the lobby is being updated. We have stayed here before because we travel with our dogs and have not been disappointed with the service. It would be nice if they would put in a fenced 'dog park' area.
I have stayed in this motel numerous times before and knew the excellent service and facilities it offered. The only problem I had was children being too load in the pool area, but that is no reflection on the motel.
even though the hotel was going through alot of renovations the over all stay was very nice. The front desk was a little off putting but the lady at the desk made it seem like there was nothing out of place. the room was very nice except for the smashed bug on the wall that i found, probably by the prior guest. that just means that house keeping needs to be a little more thurough. Overall i enjoyed my stay.
breakfast, poll, and hot tub were great. The housekeeping was deplorable. Not enough or no towels and did not clean room daily. When we did get towels some were either dirty or stained. Hotel is under renovation but that should not effect cleanliness of rooms
The desk made the room dysfunctional with a toddler and luggage, whether we were arriving or leaving the desk chairs always had to get pushed out of the door way. But the kitchen area was very modern and the room was clean.
We arrived around 4PM after a day at the beach and there were no towels in our room. After we called for towels it still took about 1 1/2 hours to receive them. There was a dirty wet towel still hanging behind the door in the bathroom and the tub was not clean. I would not recommend this place nor would I ever stay here again. Seems management is more interested in renovating the lobby than in upgrading the rooms. It seems to be and older hotel that has been neglected.
Booked during renovations, which obviously made for a less than great first impression. The room was clean and staff was friendly. It is not nearly as nice as the picture makes it seem. If you are just looking for an inexpensive place for the night, this will do. I would not want to spend my entire vacation here.
This is now our fourth time to stay here, in 3 years. We continue to be impressed by how much great motel you get for the money, which was $75/night (incl. taxes) for a weekday during the summer. All the rooms are around a large lush courtyard with a pool, jacuzzi, and kiddie pool. I think due to the good rates, the motel attracts quite a raucous family crowd, with lots of folks out grilling on the motel grills, kids running and yelling, adults smoking and hanging out. This area is called the "redneck Rivera" by New Orleans folks (our grandparents are from NOLA), and Best Western Seaways definitely epitomizes this! We enjoy it, and still find privacy for our family, which our 13-year-old found a ready crowd of friends. Despite the party atmosphere, the rooms are quiet and very pleasant, with comfortable beds, clean and spacious. Our room this time even had a jacuzzi for no extra charge! The complimentary breakfast is several steps better than your typical motel breakfast (which I usually don't like - I'm no cereal and donut fan), with fresh made eggs with cheese, two kinds of sausage, sausage gravy, granola, pecans and fixings, half and half for the coffee, etc. The motel has been undergoing renovations for a long time, so it will be nice when they are finally finished. I had someone from maintenance come to my room (a small issue with the phone), and he were very responsive and helpful. Likewise, the front desk is helpful, and by and large the staff is friendly and helpful. I feel like this motel really tries to provide more than the typical experience, and our family appreciates it. The main down side is that they are not on the beach, despite being called Seaways! It is about a 10 minute drive to get to the ocean. This I don't like. Otherwise, two thumbs up.
The accommodations were clean and convenient for our stay. The lobby was in the process of being remodeled during our stay. The biggest negative is the hotel is directly under the landing glide path so noise is a factor. There was also a couple of low fly overs by military jets going to the nearby Keisler Air force Base. That's trilling to see at a low altitude once but by the second day and fourth fly over the charm was gone.
When booking the staff was helpful. When we arrived both of the ladies behind the desk where eating and there was paperwork everywhere. I expected a little bit of this since they were remodeling, but that should have given me a clue. Once I got the key from the staff, who acted like I was bothering her, we started to our room. The parking lot was a mess and there was trash everywhere! We get to our non smoking rooms and it smells like smoke. Everything someone walked past our room smoking we could smell it. The toilet was dirty, the shower had not been cleaned, and there were only two towels. After not sleeping because the sheets were ripped and didn't fit the bed we went to breakfast. The tables were covered in food. The counters where the food was being served was covered in food and the staff seemed irritated when I asked for a rag to wipe my own table. We were going to stay another night, but decided against that. I understand things may be dusty due to remodeling, but this place was filthy and the staff very unfriendly! The only thing good about this place was leaving it!
I stayed during the 4th of July weekend. The room decor was very nice and it smelled great upon arrival. It was a loud weekend but that was to be expected. Overall, very good hotel and location is close to many stores, outlets, and restaurants. It is only 15 minutes from the beach.
Just checked in to this hotel, only to find basic things missing in the room. Towels for example - we call the front desk to ask for towels considering none were in the room. We were told that they were backed up with orders for towels. We just drove 14 hours to get to this hotel, so taking a shower was something we all really wanted to do. It's not acceptable for the hotel's excuse/response to be pretty much, "we don't have any ready, and don't know when we will. "
Rooms were clean and nice. They were renovating the lobby, so check-in was in a side door which meant when we woke up for breakfast and it was pouring rain, we got soaked trying to get there. Besides this, it was a very good experience. Easy access from the highway, but not great parking.
The room was clean and newly renovated. This is a pet friendly inn. Location near I-10 was great. The breakfast was very good. The price of the room was fair. It is close to the beach. Also, it is close to the casino. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would book this room again.
Our baseball team reserved a block of rooms for 5 nights for a tournament. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in time to find our rooms weren't ready. We waited over an hour after check in time and they still weren't available. The manager refused to do anything but say he was sorry and refused to give us a time that they would be available. Our "block" of rooms are on separate floors but "as close as they could get them". We reserved these rooms more than a month ago and are disgusted as we sit in a hot makeshift lobby with our babies that have been in the hot sun all day!
They have nice rooms, conveniently located, nice polite night clerk Gave us a good rate, downstairs as I asked for. We stayed their for about four days. Nice breakfast buffet for free! Bar on premises if you want that. Nice swimming pool, exercise room, washateria. Perfect, comfortable stay.
Former hotelier myself I look at any property as if I were the manager. For an older property it is being well maintained. I stayed here last year and I am glad to see the lobby is being renovated it was clean but very dark my last trip. Staff were friendly and helpful despite having a high occupancy. Housekeepers are missing some cleaning and maintenance opportunities. My room did have what looked like soda spray on the wall near the window, some rust stains on the bathroom wall by the lower door hinge plus the bathroom ceiling needed a coat of Kilz it looked a little dirty-- reported at checkout. Grounds were free of trash and I was happy to see bins for clean and wet towels by the pool--great idea. My only real suggestions concern the breakfast. The eggs are awful--rubbery and tasteless (same as last year). Suggest you change the product or cook them on site in an electric skillet if necessary. The sausages should have a slotted insert pan to drain the excess fat. One waffle maker had a broken timer--should be replaced. The plastic flatware (at least the knife) is too light weight for the waffles--makes it hard to cut and waffles slide off the plate during the process. The opening on the gravy container is a little high resulting in spllls and possibly injury if a child tries to serve him/herself. Selections good. I do enjoy staying here. Keep up the good work.
When we travel to Gulfport, Mississippi we always stay at this Best Western. The hotel rooms are very nice- lots of parking for big vehicles. Dining options are within walking distance. They have a nice courtyard pool and hot tub.
Under renovation but no inconvenience. Check in was smooth and staff friendly. The room was clean and newly renovated, housekeeping came everyday and did a great job, I only wish they had restocked the coffee. The pool was GREAT! Beautifully landscaped with palm trees and other tropical plants that inclosed the hot tub. The pool was very clean, we saw them checking the pool levels every morning. I only wish the pool rules would be more strictly inforced. The hot tub stayed full of kids and there was quite a few people drinking alcohol, at one point there was a birthday party with balloons and pizza. Also there were alot of people smoking, my son is allergic to cigarette smoke (he breaks out in hives if around it for more than a second) so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we liked. The breakfast was the best part, they had waffles, biscuits, sausage, sausage gravy and the rest of you typical continental breakfast fare. The breakfast room was nice, it felt like you were in a restaurant. Overall we loved our stay.
When I stayed they were undergoing remodeling so things were a little off-kilter but they were working hard to overcome the difficulties. The room was clean and quiet, even though it is under the airport flight path. There were a lot of young families enjoying the pool area when I arrived. Nice and friendly staff.
My family and I decided to change our plan at a last minute and wanted to stop at Gulfport, Mississippi. We looked up Trip Advisor and "viola" Best Western Seaway Inn has the best price so far and according to the reviews it did not sound that bad. Long story short, our experience was outstanding, staff are friendly, the breakfast is awesome, rooms are very well kept and clean, the rooms assigned to us we're right in front of our room and after 10:00 PM it was quiet outside and had a peaceful night. We wouldn't mind staying in the same hotel again if we ever drive by the area again.
This hotel is a great value and a great stay. The hotel is under construction so the front desk is moved, but things are well signed. The staff at this hotel are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, well stocked and there was plenty of room to get around and enjoy breakfast. Our room was in the back of the hotel which was a long walk for breakfast so if walking is an issue for you ask for a room close to the breakfast. We had a large truck and trailer so the rooms in the back (500 first floor 600 second floor) where perfect. There is a large parking lot for trucks and that lot can be accessed from the block behind the hotel. There is a very nice outdoor pool inside the hotel space. The beach was 4 miles away, and worth the drive down to it. The beach was free and wonderful. Be sure and find Pops Popsicle down street for artisan Popsicle. great stuff. great stay. One thing to note there is a railroad track behind the hotel. I only heard a train once during the day. There is also an airport very close and during the day I heard planes taking off. I never heard planes or trains at night. I would stay here again.
This was a great value for a nice place with a great breakfast. Staff very friendly. The lobby is being remodeled but didn't really interfere with stay. Nicely landscaped pool although we didn't get a chance to use it. The location is near the airport in West Gulfport but it's only a few miles to the beach.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the choices of food was adequate. The beverages were good anr the choices was great. The pool was clean and it was just what we needed to accommodate the family members in our party. We enjoyed the pool side grills that we used to grill on. We will stay in this hotel again when we are in the area.
Love this hotel.... It's under remodeling but it's gonna be worth it.... This hotel is one of the nicest one we've stayed in. The beds are comfy each bed has 3 pillows. Bathroom was nice .. Microwave, refrigerator nice size tv.. The pool is just beautiful with the palm trees, also a hot tub. About 10 minutes or so to the beach. The area is in a good location plenty of eateries.... Gas stations and a wal mart near by.. The breakfast was wonderful scramble eggs, sausage ,biscuits gravy . Really to much to list. We will definitely be back...
Stayed for one night with grandkids so they could go swimming, they had a blast. Pool is good size with a kiddie pool and a hot tub. Breakfast is good. Hot. Waffles, scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, biscuits and gravy and mini cinnamon rolls. Rooms are good size but bathroom is a bit small. Breakfast area is large with plenty of tables. Staff very friendly. Had problem with fridge and maintenance was right there fixing it.
While staying there last week I changed rooms (from upstairs back area to first floor pool side) to be closer to swimming pool. I realized that evening that I had left my phone charger in first room. I checked with front desk immediately and was told to check back in am with housekeeping....needless to say after going back and forth with front desk clerks and housekeeping my charger was never given back to me....I know it was my fault...but it doesn't make it right...I was even told by a.m. desk clerk (friendly young black female) that normally ONE person does ONE room...which is what I witnessed during my stay...this is the first time I hv left anything in a hotel (that I am aware of!!)....don't expect the staff here to help you if YOU make the same mistake I did....
Our room was nice. Loved the pool area. Very nice place to stay. Had a bit of a hard time falling asleep(bed was a little uncomfortable) but we had a nice nights stay and would definitely stay again. The only con was that they should've cleaned the bathroom tub a little better.
When we arrived, there was only 1 towel and less than 1/2 roll of toilet tissue in our bathroom. Called front desk, and they promptly brought them. I had to get coffee from housekeeping the next morning as there was none in our room, nor cups/condiments. Bathrooms are really in need of towel racks, especially one for a hand towel. There is only one hook on the bathroom door to hang one towel. We were unaware that there was a bike-fest the weekend we were there, and the hotel was full of them. One guy woke us up at all hours of the night revving his motorcycle right outside our room. Staff should really tell guests when they are making their reservation if there will be a lot of bikers there. Our refrigerator had leftover food in it and a bug crawling in the bottom. Most of the TV channels were not what were listed on the TV guide. Front desk staff wasn't the friendliest, but not the worst, either. Breakfast was very good, and the staff there was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was friendly, too. The bar staff was terrible, not friendly at all, and we sat at a table about 5 minutes before we realized we had to go up to the bar to order. The bar was dark and smoky and very outdated; I felt like I was back in the early '80s. If you plan to stay here, make sure there isn't a motorcycle rally going on, unless you are a biker.
Right on Highway 49 which makes it a good place to use as a central location to do things in Gulfport/the Coast. Really nice and helpful staff. Plenty of resturants close by so you do not have to travel great distances for a bite to eat.
Stayed here during the Motorcycle Blowout at the race track over memorial day weekend. The hotel is nice, rooms clean and comfy. The shower head kind of sucked, but manageable. There is a bar on site which made it nice to have drinks and walk back to room and not have to drive. Great location to food spots, race track and beach.
Every year we go to Gulfport for a motorcycle rally at the Gulfport dragway. After staying in tents onsite we finally gave in and started booking a nearby hotel room. This one is close and also convenient to all the restaurants on Highway 49. it also is just off I-10 so getting to the dragstrip and the casinos in Biloxi was a breeze. The staff was great, they even had blocked off motorcycle parking only areas as the hotel had several hundred bikes there! The staff were all friendly and pleasant to talk with. The hot breakfast was a great way to start the day (6-10 am with room key). The rooms were spacious and clean. the ac worked perfectly. The beds were soft, just what was needed after riding and partying all day. One thing I will say is that if you book this place call them direct, their rate at the desk was much lower than what I paid through a travel site . Although we did not use either, the pool area and laundry area looked clean and inviting. If not staying directly on the beach is okay and you don't mind the planes flying over and nearby (the hotel is near the airport) this is a great place to stay. I did not hear any planes once in the room.
nice people here . i have lived at this hotel off and on for about 5 or 6 years . most likely around 500 nights for not more . good place and good places to eat near by . fun club at times but i will say it needs to be redone .
Very nice place to stay if you can overlook the Navy jets flying over every few minutes. There was a few bugs in the room not on the beds they actually have protective covers on the mattress. Pretty quiet for being next to a bar I was surprised. I would stay again. Best part is get a discount for having AAA and Cdl.
This was the 2nd time that I have stayed at this hotel. I like to stay at this hotel because they allow pets which is a plus for me. Hotel is convenient to many restaurants in the area. Friendly staff that are willing to go above and beyond in making their guest feel at home away from home.
We stayed here on 5/18/16 during a terrible thunderstorm. Coming from central Wisconsin, I'm used to snowstorms, but not the amount of rain that fell in such a short period in Gulfport! The parking lots were lakes and the water washed up onto the windshield. The gentleman at the desk was very welcoming and found us a room. Upon going to the room, the corridors were flooded with so much water I had to take my shoes off and when I opened the door, the water was coming in soaking the carpet. I went back to the desk to tell him what the room looked like and he promptly got us into another room, very dry this time. And I know I wasn't the only person going back asking for another room. The room was great and they offered a very nice breakfast in the morning, If I'm ever in Gulfport again, I'll stay here! And they take dogs!!
great time! was there for a grandsons graduation from USM and family reunion and vacation and had a great time while we were there! had no problems at the motel with check in or out and the cleaning staff was great!
Very clean, modern and well run Hotel. All the staff we met were really nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel to any one looking for a worry free place to stay. They offer a good rete. The provided breakfast was delicious offering a good choice of hot tasty food.
This hotel is perfect in many ways easy on an doff highway, plenty of parking, close to restaurants, shopping and beach . casino is a hop and skip down the road. take the scenic route to new Orleans for a day trip well worth the stay . would not recommend any other place
My son wanted to stay at a hotel to celebrate his 11th birthday weekend. This one was in just the right location! Right across the street from the clean, white sand beaches. We missed the complimentary breakfast but a Waffle House is right next door!! We passed on the pool as it was very crowded. Our non-smoking, two full size bed room was clean, everything was in good working order, the AC kicked butt!! Hot water for three showers. Microwave and mini fridge served their purpose. Carpets were clean, without stains; the beds were very comfortable!! Will stay here again if the need arises! Front desk staff very friendly and courteous, lobby area nice and clean. Although we missed it, the "dining area" for breakfast seemed spacious.
My husband and I left early in the morning for an outing, leaving our dog crated in the room. We looked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign, but there was not one in the room. We called the front desk and asked that housekeeping not disturb the room and we were told housekeeping would be notified. We returned to the room at approximately 12:30 pm to find the door open. Housekeeping had cleaned the room against our request and they had left the door open with our dog and possessions inside. I can only imagine what would have happened if we had not come back After lunch, but thankfully our dog was unharmed. I called the front desk to let them know what happened and was told that the housekeeping manager would be notified (not even an apology from the desk clerk) and the housekeeping manager met us outside as we were packing the car. She was apologetic, but said that may be the room with the door that pops open on its own... My purse was also left in a drawer in the room, and a hasty check revealed that cash was still in there. Later the next day, I discovered that a $100 bill was missing from the bills that remained. A detailed review on a survey we received by email received a generic response from hotel management-not even a personal response. This hotel is clearly unsafe and they really don't care. Beware!
Generally a very good experience. The room was clean and updated even if a bit small. On the night I stayed, I was out on the town until after 1am. Upon arriving back to my room, I realized I needed some extra pillows. I called up to the front office and, despite the late hour, was immediately brought the pillows by the Security Guard so that the front desk would not be left unattended. I was impressed at the quick and cheery service. The breakfast was plentifully stocked and the area kept clean. I arrived late and left early so I cannot comment on the pool except to say that the area was clean and I, personally, saw an attendant sweeping the area before the pool opened for the day. My only complaint was during the check-in process, the staff helping me was more interested in chatting with her co-worker about oddities with the phone system than informing me of the hotel amenities. I actually had to ask the clerk where the location of my room could be found but after that, the service was great.
Normally i do not like outside corridors for noise and safety reasons. At this hotel we were at the bottom of a U-shape layout over looking the pool. The corridors were very wide and had tables and chairs. It was very quiet and very separate from the nightclub on property. Breakfast was good. We stayed just one night. The pool looked nice and well protected in the center of the U.
I would have said excellent but the housekeeping staff is very rude! The housekeeper I had knocked one time without saying anything and just walked in my room it was 10am check out at 12. Don't you have rules?
I enjoyed the hotel staff during check in and check out. Very kind and courteous. The room was clean and smelled of cleaners. Not a bad thing, just overwhelming at first. I did have an issue with safety as we were approached several times including once while I was trying to open the hotel door. Which made me uneasy as I had my kids with me. The staff was on it calling security. The only other thing was our key would not work and we had to get new ones when we left for an outing.
Air conditioning was so loud had to turn it off! Room was spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. However quite noisy! Shower could have been better. Lighting could have been better. It was rather chilly even without air and Jo extra blanket anywhere!
No major issues here, it is budget accommodation after all. Room smells a little musty, and is pretty cramped. It is just on the right side of clean. TV picture a bit fuzzy but WIFI very fast. Ok for a night, and is walking distance from a few eateries and outlet centre.
I was very happy when we pulled up. The staff was very friendly. We were travelling with our dog and had no problem being reassigned to a pet room. Rooms were clean, location was very convenient to everything. For the money, I was very happy. They had a nice breakfast in the morning as well.
I got the $69 special. My wife and I were passing through on our way from FL to CO. The staff was very friendly and everyone was most helpful BUT the bed was just OK, it was cold and there were no extra covers, the TV remote was wonky, there was repeated loud parking lot noise until almost midnight, and in the morning the breakfast eggs were cold and unappealing and there were no English muffins. On the road again.
We had a nice couple of nights here. There's an outlet mall walking distance behind this motel. It's on a very busy highway (intersection of highways) but has everything and more than what one needs. Just down the road is the beach too. I especially enjoyed the full meal breakfast, both hot and cold, mostly southern but delicious and well tended. I walked around the motel for over half an hour while my husband had a skype conference and never felt nervous. Didn't get to try the beautiful pool as it was a bit cool yet. Reasonably priced made it all the more better.
The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the ladies that attended the breakfast bar were so very friendly and helpful. They did an extremely good job. Where the hotel is located is convenient to shopping and restaurants.
Good location ,nice hotel with fast check in and out, clean rooms, big pool and a hot tub which seems to be a big plus down in this part of the country. Breakfast had a good variety including yogurts, waffels, eggs, sasage, biscuts & gravy & more. We stayed at other Best Westerns on this trip which weren't as nice and didn't have breakfast near as good but were more money and rated high too. When I book a hotel I spend a lot of time reviewing the ratings. If they are good I consider them also based on price and amenities. If they are reviewed bad I don't consider them. I could of had a great experience and someone right behind me could of had a bad experience so I guess you do have to take reviews with a grain of salt, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay here again.
Very cozy beds, adequate rooms and a very convenient location. I stay at this hotel frequently when visiting the best place in the USA! Ask for a room in the main building because the back building can get dark, particularly if you face the court yard. You will have ants, it's the south and the rooms open directly to the outside, if you can't handle that, stay in an enclosed hotel. I love being able to park right outside of my room and being able to open my door and get a breath of that amazing Mississippi air first thing in the morning. House keeping does not start until mid morning so no early morning knocking or vacuuming next door. You'll sleep amazing in the awesome beds with plenty of pillows. There is plenty of bathroom counter space, mini fridge is good size and plenty of well placed useable outlets. Overall good hotel and is almost always available on Hotwire for a steal of a deal!
The hotel has easy entrance and exit and is close to good places to eat, including fast food and sit down restaurants. Not fancy, but clean well maintained. Great Breakfast. We would use again. The staff was pleasant and eager to make the stay positive.
We spent one night but easily been a week or two. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff and very accommodating for our needs! The hotel is convenient to the freeway and shopping and restaurants!
Great rooms for the price.Well Located, not far for anything. Staff very helpful, nice Breakfast included. Free internet. The staff were friendly and the quality of linens, mattress and breakfast all surpassed my expectations.
Stay away if you can! This place is GROSS! We honestly only stayed here because we had a really hard time finding a pet friendly hotel in Gulfport that accepted bigger animals and didn't have an outrageous pet fee. I appreciate the fact that they only charge $15 extra per night for animals, but I also appreciate a clean stay. I don't need frills, but I do need to feel like I am not sleeping in someone else's semen. We booked the "best" room in the hotel because it's a cheap place and we thought it would have more room for all of us. Turned out to be a Jacuzzi suite (not that we were going to use it) which was weird but fine. The first thing I noticed is was the smoky cigar smell. Nasty, but not a big deal, I happened to have room spray with me. Next, the smoke alarm was loudly chirping because someone had "borrowed" a battery and it was dying. No biggy, I called the front desk and they sent a guy......went to the bathroom, and - oh man. The stench hit me like Whoa! I tracked the stink to the tub and knew it could only be rotting hair. I pulled up the drain plug and saw a big clog of black hair in there marinating away - bleh! eww! ugh! For the moment, I let that go because I had to wash my hands...then there was a pube in the sink. How can I tell it was pube? well, ya just know one when you see it. Then I started to get concerned about the rest of the room. I began to notice a sticky film that covered almost everything. The grime covered all and dust was sticking to the grime. How long does it take for dust to build up on grime? More than half a day! The front desk said that the room was cleaned the same day we checked in. I call BULL on that!!! There was also pop splatter on one wall, a shiny new bud light cap sitting in the middle of the desk, and many other unseemly and unidentifiable smears and stains everywhere. And as I am looking on all of horror, I notice my toddler's socks...they were white when we entered the room, and now they we BLACK on the bottom, and sticky. I immediately checked my own white socks - BLACK when they were fresh, clean socks this morning. Words do not describe how filthy this carpet was. I informed the front desk, who did promptly send someone to snake the drain. The worker mentioned that it looked like a "horror movie". But, we were left with dirty room and it was too late to switch. Thankfully, the bed actually looked clean so we had a place to sleep. and bless my stars, we only needed the room for a night! I never review things, but I just had to get this one off my chest!!!!
Beautiful Hotel, very large room with an indoor hot tub. nice pool, with a hot outdoor spa, even outdoor grills. Breakfast was especially good. Gravy and sausage was the best we've had so far! Fairly close to the beaches.
Just do it! Well Located, not far for anything. Staff very helpful, nice Breakfast included and PET FRIENDLY. Free internet. A nice place to stay for a Soccer tournament with your Family and Dog. Not far from I 10 directly on Highway 49
The staff were friendly and the quality of linens, mattress and breakfast all surpassed my expectations. A very restful stop on a long road trip with many sub-par hotel stays, Kudos to Best Western for continuing to improve.
I stayed at this property while checking out a real estate offering. The property was clean, the staff friendly and the amenities more than adequate. The breakfast buffett was of good quality with good variety. In fact, it was one of the better breakfast offerings that I have utilized. Close and convenient to the beach and casinos, I would recommend this property for a reasonable accomodation.
We arrived rather late and were quite pleased to find a very clean and quiet place to get a good nights sleep. From the quality of the linens and mattress to the much better than average free breakfast this was the best of all our stops on our road trip.
We did not spend a great deal of time in the room, however the queen twin beds were too small for me. The drainage on the landscape needs to be repaired, due to flooding, The parking places are located in an area that is prone for flooding.
I was very impressed with my king bed, very soft, and 4 nice pillows. Nice 2 person hot tub in room, but they are rare here, and you have to book early to get these rooms. The room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Very nice room. Clean. Free breakfast buffet was excellent, many choices, very good for a free breakfast. Free newspaper too. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but it looked very nice, especially for off season, beginning of March. Outlet mall is next door, and many stores and restaurants are very close by. Hotel is pet friendly and there is a petco less than a block away. I booked another stay here for June. Very nice!
I wish I had pictures! The hotel was clean and wonderful. After a long day of gambling and shopping. We winded down in Michaels night club located inside the hotel! ALL CAPS... IT WAS GREAT! WE WILL BE COMING BACK! This is such a good hotel. The only trouble we had was we got the double queen room instead of a single king but it was fine.
We were very impressed with both the interior and exterior remodeling of this property. We stayed in a king jacuzzi room on the second floor overlooking the pool and courtyard. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There is a balcony with tables and chairs in this section only. The hot breakfast is very good and the breakfast room is large and comfortable. The price was an excellent value for this area. The property is located about 1/2 mile from the I-10 exit and it takes about 10 minutes to drive to the beach and casino. The Island View Casino buffet is one of the best on the Mississippi coast. Seniors can get 1/2 price buffets on monday, tuesday, and wednesday by putting 20 points on their casino card.
Needed a place to stay for a recent trip to New Orleans and this hotel was the perfect choice. Right off interstate 10 so easy on and off. Older property and exterior corridor rooms but property was clean and the rooms look to have been recently remodeled. Front desk very efficient and helpful. Would stay here again!
Group was not placed together. One room was already occupied. Two smelled of smoke. There was a night club downstairs and we were traveling with a group of students. The club did shut down when it realized how many students were on property. Housekeeping came and sprayed rooms but the smoke smell was still there.
Nice clean room breakfast not bad at all. Had 4 in room and needed an extra towel and it was delivered within 2 to 3 minutes. We did have room booked for 4 also. We will stay there again. Not far from Casinos but far enough away to get out of traffic. Close to airport bed we were not bothered by planes.
Great hotel for the price. Nicely decorated rooms. Room was a little small. And super clean! Check in was fast. Property is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Easy access to and from the interstate.
I was overall very satisfied with the quality and amenities of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was very nice and appeared to be clean. The bed was comfortable and having a hot breakfast available was a plus. A few things to consider is that the hotel is near the airport and air base so it can be noisy with all the flights coming in and out. The only other thing I would mention is that there was no bathroom vent.
Smaller room than we had before but still oh so nice. Comfy bed, large room for breakfast with lots of items to choose from. Nice hot shower and the heater kept the room and you comfortable all night long. We were in the back, upstairs and it was fairly quite back there.
I have always stayed at this hotel when visiting the coast. Never had a problem but this stay was Roach City. I had roaches everywhere. Had to leave my luggage outside when I returned home to make sure none got in my home. I only stayed one night this time for my brother's funeral. What happened??? Definitely need to get on top of this. I was in room 614. Please rectify this problem before you lose loyal customers.
We had a very nice couple of days at this hotel. The upgrades are welcoming. Clean and beds was comfortable. Parking is right by the room door at the rear rooms. Great especially for the handicap rooms.
Passing thru Mississippi, it was late, we were tired and decided to stop here. WOW, this place was nice! Comparable to the Hilton, no joke. We had just left Florida and stayed at a hotel running $100+ per night and it was nothing compared to this hotel. We both agreed it had to be a brand new hotel as it was VERY CLEAN, with a small kitchenette, granite countertops and soft towels/bedding. When checking out, I asked if this was a NEW hotel? They said no that it was renovated a few years ago. For $89 (tax included), this is a great hotel!!!
My spouse and I booked the king room with jacuzzi through his corporation. When we got there it didn't show up in the computer as a jacuzzi room, but the lady at the counter said there was 1 left and gave it to us! (Being that the company email stated it was a jacuzzi room). The room was beautiful and huge. Most hotels I have stayed at had little room to move around. But this room was very spacious and nice. It had a mini fridge and microwave. Now for the bad. I decided to clean and run the jacuzzi just to make sure it worked. Well it worked great but all this nasty little black and brown stuff came out of the pipes. It took the tub forever to drain, so it took a while to really clean the whole tub out. We ended up not using the jets but there was still more little of the dirt that came out while we just sat in the tub. I attached 2 pictures of the tub of how it looked after we used it without the jets. It was really hard to clean Also there were a bunch of dead ants and spiders in the cracks of the floor in the bathroom. And throughout the room. It seems like the room may have been fogged for the insects. And they were just left there and not cleaned up. Other than that check out and in was quick and easy. Breakfast was good. And it's like 1 minute away from outlet which was great.
I am currently staying at this hotel, and it will be my last. I can see the dirt in my room's carpet. It might not had been vacuumed in days. The bathroom door has marks of spill (who knows what kind of spill). Overall, I'm not satisfied with my stay.
we have stayed here three years in a row and what started out three years ago with a rocky start has ended up as a very good experience. Each year has seen improvement. this year was great. We did not have reservations but were welcomed warmly by the desk clerk. she gave us excellent advise (and directions) on where to find the best oysters for dinner). Our room was clean and comfortable. the breakfast area is far superior to any motel. the selections good, the best part was a separate coffee bar marked "strong" coffee, what a wonderful idea , it meant we could get on the road without stopping for coffee (most coffee at motels is not strong enough).
Due to unexpected circumstances, we booked a last minute room at this hotel in Gulf Port. The check in was warm and welcoming which is a big deal when you're exhausted and road weary. The room was up stairs and the elevator was not close by, but we managed. The room was clean, well stocked, and modern. Only two things on my bad list: the nightclub in the lobby and breakfast. I am used to bars in hotels, but not a nightclub. When I checked in the patrons were rowdy (normal for a nightclub), but made me feel uncomfortable bringing my family into the lobby during check in. Breakfast was atrocious. There was something gritty or sandy in my eggs, the sausage was cooked, but grey. Despite these two things, I would still come back due to the great service during check in and the quality of the rooms.
Convenience to the airport and having shuttle service to the airport was most important to us. We turned in our rental car the night prior to leaving. The shuttle picked us up at the airport, then we returned to the airport the next morning for our flight.
We stopped on one of the busiest travel days of the years. We got a nice room on the floor level cause we have a dog. Everything was perfect, clean room, great staff and good hot breakfast! This will be our stop over on our way to Texas
The rooms are good and not stuffy like a lot of hotels that I have stayed in and beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like the breakfast a variety of selections. I have stayed here on a couple of occasions and have been satisfied with each stay.
Here is a pretty decent motel for the price and located on 49 in Gulfport MS. Clean, nice sized room with decent furniture, microwave, refrigerator and TV. Nice pool and heated spa. Good breakfast buffet. Place has good security lighting at night and is close to restaurants and the airport. Oh yes, heard a couple of planes but not enough to bother about.
I usually book a hotel depending on their TA rating, at least 3 1/2 for me to even consider. In this case the rating was a solid 4 and I choose to go ahead and book a room for the night. Well in the room the beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, a nice set of towels for all your needs and a decent shower. The breakfast was ok the following morning, nothing to celebrate but it was what you would expect. Now pretty immediately after entering the room I thought we were at WAR, a plane took off from Biloxi airport and flew maybe 200 feet over the building. Following this aircraft was another 3 shortly after, I was telling my self - this is unbelievable, who builds a hotel in the direct line of fire from runway 14/32 at GPT. Well it seems Biloxi airport operates 5AM to 10PM, ok it's 9PM something so whatever I can live with that. The following morning I'm awaken at 5:30AM by a freight train blowing it's horns non-stop for about 2 minutes, the track runs about 150 feet from the hotel. Also the hotel is surrounded by highway 49 and old highway 49 which both has traffic pretty much 24/7. Considering the above I really don't think this property deserves a rating of 4, some serious sound proofing would have to be installed for me to even consider that.
Me and a business colleague stayed here prior to our long flight from Gulfport back to the UK the next day. The room was of an excellent stands d and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Making size room was huge, true king size bed and very clean. Had more amenities than you would expect for the price. Extra towels, microwave, mini fridge, large work out facility and huge free hot breakfast We hotshot so truck/bus parking is a must and they have plenty. Will stay here anytime we are in Gulfport
Needing a place to stay the night on the way to Texas, we chose BW Seaway because of price and billboards advertising newly redone rooms. What a good choice it turned out to be. The rooms were as advertised, redone, clean and spacious, with clean bathroom and good water pressure and towels. After a good nights sleep, we went to the breakfast room. Another surprise, a large room with lots of tables, and a well laid out, plentiful buffet, and perhaps the biggest surprise of all........scrambled eggs that tasted like eggs. All in all a very nice property, not new but well maintained, a good nights sleep and a good breakfast and all for a great price. What more could one ask for.
The room was not clean at all. The bathroom was not clean. There was something splashed on the wall and all over the nightstand. They also did not have any towels provided as well as no sugar and creamer for coffee. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The service was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and so helpful. The rooms were very nice and pretty. The breakfast was awesome! It was a full breakfast bar with hot food items. I highly recommend staying here!
Admittedly, I stay at this hotel because they allow smoking in some rooms, but you sure do get a lot more than that. They call it a continental breakfast, but there are scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits & gravy... The rooms have not just refrigerators (large ones) but also microwaves. There's a full laundry, a gym, a pool - and most of the people - employees as well as other guests, are delightful and very helpful. There's a bar and lots of restaurants nearby too. I go there for the smoking, but I get so much more.
This is an older hotel but nicely renovated and in good shape. The room was more than adequate and the staff honored our request for a first floor room. The swimming pool is excellent. It is large and can (and did) accommodate quite a few people. We enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were above and beyond what I expected as far as just feeling that over all clean feeling. The breakfast the next morning was incredible... So many choices.. The check in and out was so easy... They also had a special AARP discount on the flashing board.. Hey, everything helps
In town for a funeral. Nice stay at hotel made everything else better to deal with. If I am in the area again, I would consider this hotel. It was right off the highway, yet close to the places I needed to be. They even, without asking, put my siblings' rooms nearby so we could all be together. Really appreciate it.
Best Western Plus Seaway Inn, Gulfport, Mississippi is showing it's age. The walls are very thin and the party next door was boisterous until 2:30 am. You could also hear everyone walking past the door, even if they weren't being loud. If you like lime green paint in the bathroom, room 420 is the place for you. Personally I didn't find it appealing. The concrete walkways need patching and painting. The coffee is excellent, the breakfast was good, the staff is personable and the overall appearance of the grounds is good.
Would have given a 5, but room carpet was filthy. We didn't notice until we got in shower. Then took a wet cloth to carpet, and white cloth became black! Aside from the above, room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Flat screen, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, king bed. Hot breakfast. Fluffy towels. The desk help was outstanding. Rhonda and Monica. Super friendly. Rhonda gave recommendations for dinner, and area.
I have been a frequent visitor at Best Western and we were driving from Florida to New Orleans and we stopped off at Gulfport Alabama. USA. The hotel looked good and was a good price. I had trouble checking in as there was a receptionist who had only been working there for a few weeks. She had to bring out a supervisor to finish off the booking and the supervisor told her to book me in , give me the key and the booking in process could be done again later by the receptionist. About 2030 that night I heard someone trying to gain access to the room so I shouted out that they had the wrong room. The person said sorry and went away. About 30 minutes later there was a knock at the door and I tried to look through the spyhole but the glass had been obscured. I asked the person what they wanted and they said they were hotel security and they wanted to speak to me. I asked his name which he gave me and I told him I would ring the reception to confirm. I rang for 4 or 5 minutes but no-one answered the phone which I found very suspicious. I told the person at the door that I couldn't get through to the reception. He kept insisting that I open the door and he told me that the police had been called and I would have to open the door for them.He said I shouldn't be in the room and how did I get there! Meanwhile my wife kept trying the front desk and eventually the phone was answered. My wife complained about us not being answered and the receptionist stated in a very belligerent manner that she had been busy with customers.. We could have been murdered in our room by the time it took her to answer. She also stated that we shouldn't have been in that room and I reminded her that she put us in this room. I had to tell her to keep quiet so I could explain the serious problem we had. She was quite annoyed at this and she was giving the impression that she was the aggrieved party. I said I would open the door but I wanted to speak to the manager who she said was at home and wouldn't be disturbed. I open the door to see 4 HEAVIES all around the door and of course there were the usual rubber neckers. I insisted we all went to the front desk to sort the problem. The incompetent woman was there and of course it wasn't her fault but the systems and even though I kept suggesting that it was her that booked us in and should have been aware of the room mix-up! As every one knows with computers, it's rubbish in rubbish out.. Eventually the receptionist got the manager on the phone and he was apologetic about the mix up and he suggested we speak in the morning. We did do this and once again he apologised and I suggested that the fault not only lay with the receptionist but also the inadequate training that she had had or hadn't. We weren't charged for the stay but I have to say it was one of the worst stays at a hotel we have ever experienced. Certainly not up to the standard I would expect from a Best Western. I have given the overall rating of the property as terrible but the property was good it was the standard that was terrible.
I'm posting for a friend who left the hotel last week with spider bites. As a former front desk agent at multiple award winning property, the bites and doctors my friend and her dog had to endure were unacceptable. Then, she was rudely by both the property and Best Western Customer Care.
We have stayed for the last 3-years at Best Western Plus Seaway Inn in Gulfport, MS. Obviously, we have been very pleased with the service and amenities. The staff is always very helpful and courteous. We will stay with them again.
I found the property well maintained, front desk personal well trained, professional and more important, nice. Room clean and fully supplied , breakfast buffet above average. Would highly recommend this Inn.
We visited during Cruisin' the Coast in early October 2015, so they were super busy. Despite that, our two rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. I must admit that I had such service was a thing of the past. My only complaint was that while our rooms were nonsmoking the pillows smelt very faintly of smoke. My husband & I both have allergies, but it was so faint we just had the mildest of symptoms. I would definitely recommend this Best Western and we plan to stay again. We'll just take our own pillows. ;)
Good location, great rooms, great parking, near food, bar, all the stores. it is a litle long ways from the casinos and beaches10-15 minutes. less than 30 to anywhere in the Biloxi area. if you are in Guflport there is not a better choice for your dollar.
Just checking in was a delightful experience. We were given a room on the bottom floor without asking. The room was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and the light was kept out while we slept. If there had to be a problem, it was a simple one. There was only one towel in the room. However, with one call, additional towels were sent to the room immediately. To emphasize how comfortable the room was, I over slept and missed breakfast. I could have easily spent several days there. Checking out was a breeze. Staff, checking in as well as out, were exceptional. If you are on IS-10, heading east or west, set your navigation system for the Best Western Plus Seaway Inn in Gulfport, Mississippi.
room was not fresh, towels did not smell fresh, swimming pool was closed without notice when checking in. room felt damp at all times, air conditioner seemed not to keep room cool. great area to eat and shop
Visit this city 2 to 3 times per year, will most probably use Best Western on our next visit. This is a pleasure trip, enjoyed by a couple that travels often, service was very good, room very comfortable, great Breakfast Buffet, second time here, enjoyed very much.
Stayed here a few nights. Some noise from the airport nearby but otherwise quiet. Clean and ok breakfast. Free USA today. Nice pool and bbq's. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Short drive to the beach and close to the highway. Friendly staff.
