The facility was very clean. The staff super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the select coffee machine was wonderful. The king size bed was very comfortable and I slept extremely well. The A/C worked really well and cooled down quickly even on a 100 degree day. Will stay here again and recommend to my friends and family.
Staff was very helpful and courteous. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was plentiful every morning. Great stay all the way around.
Air conditioner leaked, mold on wall, carpet wet. Pool was green and should have been closed. I would not recommend this hotel for the price or amenities.
We were in town for the week for my sister's wedding but we had our cat with us. They were willing to make accommodations for our cat and us all with grace. The facilities were incredibly clean and the staff were all superstars. I've never met a team without any weak links. Everyone was so kind to us.
We were in the area birdwatching and were happy there was a Best Western in Graham. We used Best Western Points (Best Western has a very generous point system) if you travel a bit. The hotel was clean, front desk staff was cheerful, room was clean, pillows were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. It met expectations.
This place has a budget motel vibe but with midrange price. Rooms and facilities are kind of out-of-date, and not in quaint way. Maybe a bit past-due on maintenance, e.g. side doors did not seem to lock properly, if at all. If you are working in the area of just passing through, it will do. But no reason to seek out a stay here.
Great staff, room very clean, breakfast was good, and selection was good. I stay here over and over. Cost seem to be right on the money. Quite peaceful and convenient to all restaurants and wal mart. Till next time.
They always take great care of there guests. The breakfast was great. The facilities were really clean and were also not out of date. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is needing a great place to stay at a affordable rate.
Very nice place. Recently updated. Huge TV. Very nice staff. Cozy room with plenty of lighting. Internet did not work well for me for my computer work. Breakfast was very good. The coffee options were nice.
room was excellent A/C great, everyone on staff was very helpful will be back when in the area again close to restaurants and Walmart gas stations everything that you would want close bye hotel was good
Pool was dirty. Bed frame was bigger then the bed. Cut my leg on bed frame. Air didn't work in work exercise room. Food had no flavor and was under cooked. Saff at the counter wanted to argue with me.
We have been staying at this hotel for about a year. Since last year the lobby was so hot and uncomfortable! In the winter the lobby was cold. Thank goodness our room had a working A/C . Just stayed at the hotel last weekend and the A/C is still broken in the lobby, hallways, weight room and breakfast room.
Have stayed at this location many times as I visit Grham often, The breakfast is one of the best that i have had while.traveling. the staff is always great and the property is always clean. the rate is better tahn other properties in the city.
I stay here yearly at one certain time. They kindly start breakfast earlier than usual on 9/1 due to who is filling the hotel at that time. I've always found the place to be clean and well kept which is why I come back each year.
Have stayed here numerous times since built. Time to clean and remodel. Tub needed replacement rust around the overflow drain that had been painted over . Big Satin on rug. Window so dirty you could not see through it.
Find another place.AC DC didn't work properly. Tv would turn but that was all.could not adjust temperature of shower, wide open scalding hot. After 1/2 of messing with it and another 1/2hour they changed our room
We stayed at OK for a family reunion. Grab ham is closer to the Rock Creek Camp and Fox Hollow side!! Just a 20 minute drive to this Best Western very clean and quiet great breakfast. We expected much less for a small town but we're pleasantly surprised by our accommodations.
There was nothing about this stay that was pleasant. Between the broken beds and foul smells broken air conditioning along with non working ice machine. Night crew was nice and tried there best to make things right however morning crew in my eyes was rude and unprofessional. After the issues we had I can't believe place is still in Business I have stayed at this property before and coming back I was shocked. I asked for a call from Stormy this morning She called and was understanding and explained the Difficulties this location was having but Ultimately only able to refund one night stay when we paid for four nights between the two rooms we Reserved.
The hallway smelled of smoke and trash because the trash was piled in the halls, the elevator kept breaking and we where on the 3 floor with a toddler. Our sheets where dirty and didn't have enough towels. When we went to the front desk we where told there wasn't enough linens to go around!
The elevator was out and has been out for weeks. The ice maker was out on the first floor, but there was a working one on the 3rd floor, no elevator. There was food in the refrigerator in our room. There was animal hair on the floor and on the bedspread.
The front desk staff at this location went above & beyond to help us with everything we needed!! Also the hotel was extremely clean. The breakfast area was one of the best we have seen in a long time. We travel often and stay at Best Westerns most of the time but this one is the BEST!
This is hotel is in the best location of town. It always has a beautifully decorated lobby, great selection of tv channels and breakfast, and even a pool and fitness center with high internet speeds. The rooms are mostly clean and the buggest downside to us (which varies room by room) is the bathroom. Last time we stayed there the bathroom toilet seat kept coming off and the shower curtain didn't close all the way and kept opening on its own while showering. Other than that it's a great location with very friendly staff.
checkin was normal, however when we got to the room the bathroom needed to be cleaned, toilet was dirty, bathtub was dirty. the bed sheets had hair on the sheets. i will be back in this town and will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express. one of the beds was shaped like a bowl, very suken in the middle
The location and the actual hotel is great , the people , staff , was also very good . The biggest problem was the awful beds woke up during the night and morning with back pain due to the rock hard beds and pillows absolutely suck.
This was quite the experience! The hotel is run down and not kept up. We got a handicapped room and the bar in the shower was loose! Luckily I saw it before my mother-in-law took a shower because one tiny little touch and it came loose from the wall! Talk about a dangerous situation! The shower faucet is lined up weird and it looks like it was taken off and put back without any care at all. Our room was so humid that we just felt damp the entire stay. When we woke up that first morning, the clothes that were set on the chair were actually wet from humidity INSIDE the room! We talked to the front staff (a very professional lady that truly wanted to help!) but there were no other rooms available. She said she would send someone in to take a look at the air conditioner and shower bar. They came in and fixed the shower bar and cleaned inside the air conditioner but unfortunately that only provided a temporary, non-sticky bandaid on the situation and actually did nothing to help because they didn't take care of the problem, only cleaned it up a little bit. the air conditioner was collecting VERY dirty, slimy, rusty water at the bottom of the unit! It was a half-assed attempt, at best, to fix the situation. We stayed in a very humid room for the weekend. At check out, we heard a couple of other people talking about the humidity in their room as well. This hotel is a health scare hazzard and I wouldn't stay there again.
The whole place Smells like cigarettes. There where holes in the wall. Rooms were not clean. Host were rude when I brought up these issues. I will not be staying here again. There are better options in town.
The staff were super helpful and I'm a sucker for free biscuits and gravy. Be it business or pleasure, I look forward to my next stay at The BW. Oh, and being a rewards member, I'd like more of a discount next time.
It started bad when a room for two people is supplied with 1 towel and 1 washcloth. The carpet was un-vacuumed and there was no stopper in the tub. The hairs of the previous guests were abundant in the sheets. The hotel staff had one member who provided minimal customer care. He tub was repaired on his shift. The other member of the desk staff was rude and unwilling to provide any assistance at all, even after the deplorable condition of the linens was brought to her attention. All of the hotel staff allowed large piles of wet and dirty linens and bags of trash to remain in the hallway all afternoon. I finally gathered it up myself and carried it to the front desk, offering to place it in the proper location. The Graham location is not typical of Best Western. Most are professionally operated and staffed by courteous individuals, even under COVID constraints. I will never stay at BW-Graham again, preferring to sleep on a table at Fireman Park.
Too many issues to mention but let's say the cold showers did us in! The towels were dirty with stains and even after they said they fixed the hot water issue, we were forced to take cold showers before we left! The wretched odor in the hallway of the 3rd floor was horrible! Unacceptable! Our room was obviously under repair as there was painters tape on the bathroom light and no cover on the exhaust fan. The tub got clogged so the maintenance man came in and fixed it while we were gone, we returned to find a pile of what were obviously pubic hairs on the floor and in the tub…..let's say I can guarantee they didn't belong to us! Elevator was popping and got stuck and help button continually was stuck clicking on. I could go on! This was probably the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel!
Shower was a little dirty. Pillows were small. Overall was an average place to stay. A good location that is close to several restaurants and shopping areas. Breakfast was prepackaged and was a grab and go.
This is an excellent place to stay! I would highly recommend this hotel to others! The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is hot! I was pleased with the customer service and I would stay here again!
The entire hotel was extremely hot even though it was 32 degrees outside. The shower was in need of repair and looked dirty. I left a yeti cup in my room on the desk and called the front desk 10 minutes after I left and asked the Mgr (Stormy) to have someone bring it to the front desk and I would pick it up later that day. She agreed, however when I went back to get it, it was nowhere to be found. She proceeded to let me know that it wasn't in the room. Someone either took this 40$ cup, threw it away, or kept it for themselves. She basically called me a liar. I will be calling the Corporate Office. I will not stay at this hotel again. I dislike thieves and Liars and rude managers!
Honestly was an amazing stay. I am from Graham and my husband and I went to Graham for Christmas. It was the first time I haven't spent Christmas Eve at my parents house but it was right down the street and a very comfortable stay. Everyone was exceptionally nice, and everything was very clean! The General Manager was also extremely helpful, that is who checked us in!
First room toilet ran all night. Had to turn off water in the middle of night to get sleep. Reported next day. So called repaired made it worse! Moved rooms! New room missing sleeper sofa and table!!!
Making my reservation on my cell phone, on the road as my husband drove, at midnight, last minute was very easy and check in and check out was even easier! I even became a member and it only took a minute to join!
We had intended to stay here since we're Best Western members. But we didn't get past the receptionist. They did not have the Covid protection features of the Holiday Inn north of town. No plexiglass separator shield and no employee mask. That made us uncomfortable. Also, the Business Center was not open and the WIFI was down. The host was nice, but this was not what I expect of a BW Plus.
The smell of mold in the hotel and our room in particular was unbearable. We left after one night and went to Holiday Inn (the only other option in town.) The staff was not wearing masks (we're in a pandemic). No breakfast was offered. Pool was shut down. Key entry on doors didn't work. One bedsite lamp didn't work. Another lacked a light bulb.
They are just finishing the renovation of this property, so it's quite pristine. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with all new linens. The staff members that we had contact with were just wonderful. They referred us to an amazing restaurant, and other points of interest in the community. They are biker friendly in that we were given the option of parking the bike under cover, or in an area where there would be around the clock surveillance. I would strongly recommend this establishment.
I realize a lot of your services were not available due to the virus. So it was in your best interest of your guests safety to take away the things that may spread the virus, but you didn't feel it necessary to lower your prices for all the amenities taken away, while protecting your guests. That does not sit well with me, while we pay for less amenities, and your bottom line increases. Tells me your not concerned about your guests. We are all trying to be understanding during this time, but I think you should rethink your approach.
Ive stayed at Best Western at Graham 2x so far. The receptionists ive had were extremely nice and made me feel welcomed. My rooms are always cozy and neat. Will continue to book here for my visits to Graham Tx
Amazing place to stay when you are away from home. They make you feel welcome and glad you're at their hotel! I have come to this particular hotel many times this past month, and I am always treated exactly the same. With respect and friendliness!
Stayed here for one night while on our field tour. Everything went well. Staff is very nice and caring. They big parking and access is also very easy being in vicinity to highway. They offer good breakfast and tea coffee, in room amenities were also okay and I had a good night sleep before travelling to next destination.
First room had a broken bed frame and a Juuel E cigarette on the floor of that nonsmoking room, along with a TV remote that didn't work. Second room was better but had to ask the front desk to control the loud party of young men in the parking lot at 9pm and 2am in order to sleep. My gift bag had a rotten apple in it with multiple obvious cuts in it. Breakfast area too small and fought to get to coffee urn. Wouldn't recommend.
When we arrived we were told the elevator was not working and there was so work on floors being done. Tile and carpet being replaced. While a very small inconvenience it was not a problem. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Got great nights of sleep
Our stays have been great. Breakfast is the best and their bacon is amazing. I like that they have so much available with the Complimentary full breakfast. I can change it up everyday. We will continue to stay at any Best Western because of their great hospitality (Roy your the best!).
This hotel is in the final stages of remodel. Each time I have stayed here the appearance, cleanliness, and service has improved. I have close ties to small communities nearby. The location of this facility and the amenities it offers, expecially the helpful, courteous attitude of the staff, even with the additional stress of an extensive remodel, was very much appreciated.
This hotel was going thru a major renovation and was in chaos. The halls were being painted and smelled. The elevator was slow and the stairs were stripped down to the pine wood. Did not enjoy the stay and was glad to get out of there. I am sure that they have corrected everything and is a pleasant place to stay now.
This hotel is under construction and that was the answer they had for everything that was wrong. Water didn't get hot carpet was dirty the card readers barely worked. The only good thing about this place is the pool.
This was an older facility and was in the middle of some remodeling on the inside. It was clean and the service was friendly. The wifi was good. It was nice and quiet, but then it was a Sunday night with little truck traffic. The breakfast was good, but some motels have more variety. I would recommend this motel to a friend.
We stay here once a year on our way thru to visit nearby. The property is always very clean and we find the rooms to be very comfortable. The breakfast is decent enough. Only drawback this visit was that the pool was drained....a bummer to my 10 year old.
So... It was a strange visit. We were in one of 2 wedding parties there that weekend. When we first got to the room there was hunks of dirt on the coffee table and no sheets for the pull out sofa bed. We asked for sheets and they were promptly brought to us, with no issue. Then in the middle of the night when I stepped out of bed I stepped into 2 sticky globs of what I'm hoping was grape jelly. We didn't have any jelly and certainly hadn't gotten any on the floor. And our room only came with 2 towels. We were very clear about the fact that we were a family of 4. When I went down to the front desk to let them know about the fact that we'd need more towels and the jelly (that nobody in my family put there) needing to be cleaned up they said ok and made a note of it for housekeeping. Later that afternoon we came back to made beds, but the jelly was still there and we were now down to only 1 towel as they had taken the other one and didn't replace it or leave the extras we requested. The water dispenser in the lobby was out of service halfway through day 1, and no water was provided for the oatmeal packets or tea in the morning at breakfast. The front desk staff seemed aggravated the whole time we were there and were annoyed and confused by any requests. The tub had black stuff shooting out every time water redirected from tub spout to shower head, and many times we had to open the toilet tank and pull the lever to flush it. I stepped in jelly many times over this visit. I would have just thrown a towel over it, but I didn't have any to spare. It was strange.
I've never written a review but felt I needed to this time. Although our room was fine, others in our party had problems. Some rooms were dirty (my daughter's room had what looked like jelly on the floor, front desk was notified but it was never cleaned). Another couple was given a smoking room and told there were no non-smoking rooms left...they were given a can of air freshener. I would definitely check out other hotels as this seems more like a hotel for traveling construction crews.
I stay here almost every week for business. I've never had any issues that I can remember. If their were any it was something very small, small enough that I can't remember. The staff has always been great. No issues in that department. Don't hesitate to book a room here.
I am hesitant leaving this review because it looks like management at this hotel seems to have a sarcastic reply or attack for anyone leaving a negative review. But I will not let that deter me!! In a word this hotel is "Unprofessional". We had a reservation for this hotel not knowing it was not a Best Western. I had requested an early check-in since we were Video graphing a wedding from 1 pm to Midnight and wanted to have a room already secured so we could come back and just go to sleep. The reception clerk greeted us, and I had not even gotten out that we had a reservation, when she interrupted me and rudely stated "Check-in is not till 3 pm". I started over to explain that I had requested an early check-in of Noon since we had a job that would take us near midnight. She then told me that "early check-in is a $25.00 fee" I told her that I did not see that anywhere on the website. Then a young man in street clothes addressed us from the waiting area and then walked behind the counter and stated "It does not matter, we have no rooms ready anyhow." I asked about the manager and the young man stated "I am the manager", I asked about the owners business card and this guy says "I am the owner too". I few observations I would like to make at this time. When we walked in, the reception clerk could not be bothered to stand up and greet us. (she remained seated the whole time) and she acted as if our arrival was an inconvenience and not part of her duties. The young man, manager/owner, should have greeted us politely and identified who he was immediately, because I was upset some person off the street was interfering in my check-in, and acting like a bouncer at a club, not a manager. We left and arrived at Holiday Inn Express a few miles down the road. We were checked in and had a room in less than 5 minutes. The Holiday Inn receptionist clerk, Mrs. Deniece, was very professional and pleasant. I enrolled in their reward program, cancelled my reservation at the Graham Inn, and deleted the "Best Western plus" app all in about 3 minutes. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in the past 10 years and have never been treated as rudely as I was at the Graham Inn. Maybe they are nice to long term guests or people just accept rude behavior. I do not! I have choices and will spend my money were I am appreciated as a customer, not treated like a vagrant.
Rarely has a 3rd floor room available. One of the noisier hotels I've been in. Front desk clerk has been eating a few times when I checked in. Unprofessional and a little gross. Rooms are clean, internet is decent, breakfast is decent.
Good breakfast. With a little creativity, I was able to eat low-carb/keto. The rest of the hotel was fine. Clean and tidy. Staff was nice when I checked in. Other than that, it was a pretty typical hotel stay.
Service was great. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and hot. Enjoyable stay. Would highly rvicerecommend this Best Western to anyone. Definitely will stay again if need arises.
Poor hours for use of fitness room. No bath towels left one day. Internet service terrible. Spouse could never connect to internet using iPhone. I could never connect using iPad. Never had problem connecting with iPad at any other hotel/motel and on cruise ships.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, washer and dryer facilities, pool, very nice place for small town. Kids enjoyed all options of breakfast available till 10am was great. Stayed here at least 10 times and everytime I am pleased
We have stayed in worse and even better Best Westerns. Graham Best Western has a friendly and helpful staff, rooms are clean, large and adequate, even if a little antiquated. On the weekday we stayed it was very quiet. TV had many cable channels. Paid a very reasonable price. Did not have breakfast at hotel, went to local diner. Graham is a charming north central Texas town.
I have been staying at this hotel for several years while visiting my Mother. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. They recognize me and know my room preferences. Last trip, Nicole took the initiative and called me prior to check in. She noticed I was booked in a queen room and usually I request a king. Stormy has educated me on using Facebook to post items for sale while downsizing my Mother. The rooms have always been clean. Roy, the owner/manager, is hands on and available to assist and also very accommodating.
Our stay at the BW Plus Graham Inn was the worst and most depressing ever! We had three rooms and all were a mess and the hotel was a mess. One room had a BLOODY BED upon arrival all the way thru to the mattress. The sinks and showers were backed up...the towels were thin and dirty...mine had a big brown spot on it. The sheets were gauzy, even after they said they had upgraded the sheets and towels. The pool was green because they didn't keep up their chlorine or whatever they put in the pool and it was full of algae, so the kids couldn't even swim. The breakfasts are all carbs and crap. It was dirty and horrible. We will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. We never liked it much there, but they said that there was a new manager and that things were upgraded. Well, that was a lie...maybe a new manager but nothing was upgraded. I don't even want to give it one star, but you have to in order to do the review. DON'T BOTHER STAYING THERE!!!!! HORRID DEPRESSING DIRTY and SCARY! A DUMP!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Great motel and location. personal there were very friendly and informative. Easy check in and check out. Breakfast was very good and good selection. Beds were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep.
Prior to arriving, I attempted to call the hotel several days in a row and got no answer, on Thursday someone would actually pick up and hang up on me. I finally had to call the 1-800 number. I simply wanted to confirm our reservations. I also needed to confirm that we received the wedding block rate. We had not. Thankfully the agent at the 1-800 let us know and I finally was able to reach a person at the hotel who fixed it for us prior to arrival. The problems continued at check in. I was staying for 2 nights and paying for another guest to stay 1. I was never asked if I were a rewards member. I assume I received no credit for my stay. We showered in standing water, ankle deep. The bread at breakfast was barely edible. When you opened the bread box you could smell the sweet odor of bread that was well past its prime. Later that afternoon I had to ask for plastic wear, and was made to feel as if it were a "bit much" to ask, as it was not breakfast time. When I asked if they had any extra condiments such as packaged parmesan cheese I was promptly told "we only serve breakfast". Obviously I am not an idiot, but having worked in a hotel for 2 years, know the staff eats delivery/takeout nearly every meal and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Having stayed for a wedding, there were many other guests from the same wedding party. All complained of slow drains and rude staff. On Sunday Morning with a full house, breakfast ran out before 9 and was never replenished. A member of the wedding party went out to his truck in the morning on Sunday, that had been parked directly in front of the reception area, and two tires were slashed and his car was keyed. I can't imagine the front desk staff not being alerted to something going on out front if they were actually at or near the front desk that night. I will say that the housekeeping staff were wonderful. The room was very clean. They always seemed busy and professional. Otherwise we would not stay again, nor recommend.
We stayed the night as we were laying over on a trip. Let me first address the staff, overall they are very nice. CeCe checked us in on Friday and was very pleasant. She let me know that the room requests I had could only be met half-way based on other occupancy which I appreciated. The housekeeper in the am was nice in the hall as I needed a plastic bag and she got me one. The breakfast was nice, the waffle maker had a Texas shape which we loved. Coffee was good. The room was decent, clean and the AC worked well. This is not a knock on management because they did not build the place but with two double beds there could be more room between the wall and the first bed. The other furniture was sparse. No local directory in the room which disappointed me, but the desk was able to suggest food and drink We stayed here the same weekend last year and the hotel was transitioning to a BW Plus and the landscaping looked better now. Now to my issues, when I reserved the room I indicated 3 guests, but I only got two bath towels. The desk had extra but if I said 3 people, you would think that equals 3 towels. The light bulbs, pick a color, either bright white or daylight. It plays tricks on the mind when bulbs are different colors in the rooms and halls. We will stay here again in about one year.
It was excellent, good location within restaurants, Walmart for shopping, great services, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast, grandkids loved the swimming pool, couldn't ask for more!!!!
My husband and I were in Graham for the Possum Pedal bike rally. We stayed at this Best Western and it was very nice. Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. Had a great ride because of great night's rest on a very comfy bed. Will definitely stay here again.
If your looking for the best place in town look no further this place is top notch clean rooms, great staff, and good breakfast, and to top it all off rates were better than anywhere in town. We will be back..... A+++++++++++++. Bill Farmer
My wife and I had a nice stay here while in transit. The lobby and room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and filling though the eating area was small so I enjoyed a quiet breakfast out by the pool. Recommended for an overnight stay.
Roy Rawat is young, but wise beyond his age. He has been the General Manager for six months. He will be having this hotel renovated, and all of the photos that you can see in previous reviews will be soon a thing of the past. The entire staff is eager to please, if you have a need, or problem just tell them.
Hotel smells and needs to be updated. TV didn't work room phone didn't work I had to call front desk from my cell phone. Cats running outside trash was on the parking lot not a very clean please for the price of the rooms.
The decor seemed dated but overall the stay was good and without any negative issues. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good. The checkout efficient and the check in without incident.
We have stayed here many times on our way through town. The room is always comfortable, and the hot breakfast is always very good! Roy Rawat is the general manager, and he manages the property very well. Front staff is always very helpful.
There are no bells and whistles at this hotel. But, lots of hospitality and good value for the price. Free breakfast and wifi. The room was clean and in good working order. Nothing to complain about, other than we needed more towels.
Excellent stay all the times I've stayed there. The rooms are always clean, no issues except the internet in the upper floors can be sometimes slow connection. The ladies at the front desk are always kind and happy to help me.
Always love staying at best western, the staff room and breakfast was top notch. We try to get away from hectic days and come here to relax. Its like a vacation every time. We will recommend best western to all.
Have stayed here annually for the past 5 years. It's "okay" for a night. It needs a lot of work. Cob webs by windows. Sheets were gray. Towels yellow and stiff. Everything is very old. Chose not to use the sofa in room..artwork from the 1960s. We paid a total of 92 dollars with tax. That being said..I need to compliment the staff. The front desk lady who checked us in was SO nice, polite and professional. Very sweet. Gave us ideas for dinner, as we wanted something different this year. Despite the gray sheets, bed was firm and comfortable. Air conditioner worked well. Overall...really hope they update property soon..their business depends on it. If management reads this, I hope that the money for updates is spent on new beds, towels, sheets, carpet and sofas...NOT the lobby. Many hotels make the lobby beautiful instead of guest comfort. We are here to rest, not hang out in the lobby. I like your hotel and your staff is top notch. Breakfast was good too. Looking forward to next year to see if things have changed. My fingers are crossed.
The employees here are very polite, helpful, kind and the manager made exception to the breakfast schedule by having it ready at 5:30 a.m. We also liked it cause they had free wash n dryers. We appreciate the time we spent there while working in Elbert, Tx.
The room was very nice, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. This place had everything anyone could want in the way of amenities. I was surprised to find a free washer and dryer available for guests, or at least it did on the second floor where I stayed. Not sure about each floor. The free breakfast had everything you could possibly want for breakfast and was very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.
The rooms were not cleaned well. The parking lot was very dangerous from ice and no ice melt was used. I wish there was a La Quinta in Graham. They generally do a much better job. The front desk staff seemed to not care.
All rooms and bathrooms are very clean, breakfast is excellent with lots of great choices. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices are very good. We travel to this area several times a year and always stay here
I enjoyed the stay - cleanness, Christmas decorations were up, room was very relaxing, love the pillows as they were so soft and slept like a baby, quietness, laundry room provided a washer and dryer with no cost to use, and breakfast was wonderful. It was in a good area with Walmart and the Dollar General store nearby. This was a business stay for me.
This my goto place when I am in the area hunting. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and attentive. The manager is always helpful and makes me feel welcome. There is plenty of parking and it's well lit. All in all a great place to stay.
Was recently in Graham for a wedding. Wasn't sure where to stay, so we picked the Best Western. Was very pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was! Very clean and nice. Staff was excellent - friendly and personable. They were very helpful in directing us to good places to eat as well as to the church where the wedding was. Had microwave, refrigerator, wi-fi, flat screen tv and cable. Non-smoking room. Breakfast the next day had a good variety of options. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And, if in Graham again, this will be where I'll stay. Good job, y'all!
Average BW, not a BW plus. Large rooms with one chair and ottoman, this oversized room could have had extra chair for couples to sit in room. Pillows are small and feather like, WalM is near by if you need items.
Poor service behind desk. Not accommodating when request were made. Breakfast items not kept refilled. Dust ruffle on bed was upside down. Smoke smell in a non smoking room. One particular employee behind desk did not follow request made and was definitely not a friendly person.
Very nice facility. We were there attending a nearby wedding. I traveled for a living (outside sales) for 30 years. Best Western was always my 1st preference. I have strong preference for local independent businesses.
We stayed here one night to break up a longer trip. The property appeared new and was in clean, well-kept condition throughout. Staff was friendly an helpful. The location is close to many places where we were able to eat. Will definitely stay here again.
Great hotel to stay at. Will stay hear again. Very friendly people and very clean rooms. Great breakfast items. Easy in and out here. Did not have anything negative about this hotel. Lots of parking spaces.
Got in late quick check in... very polite and professional staff with welcoming smile..good night's rest.. very clean... breakfast had a variety of items to chose from.. I would definitely bring my family to stay at this hotel.
Everything was in house. All rooms on hallways which made me feel safe. Quiet, restful, friendly staff, & a full breakfast served free. Many places are charging now. Smoke free& clean. People were visiting & discussing their trips at breakfast. Happy place?? .
We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby at Sparrow Creek Ranch and had many out of town family members staying in the hotel as well. We were very satisfied with our stay. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if ever in the area.
The hotel has a nice location to the downtown area of Graham. The hotel is fresh, clean and has the amenities for an over night or two stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and proud to tell you about their city. Ample parking and close vicinity to numerous restaurants. A place I'd stay in again.
We came up for a friend's wedding this weekend. Excellent service from the staff! Have paid much more for less.... Very highly recommended...Nichole at the desk is fantastic! Lots of eateries and grocery nearby. Great find!
Ms Ferguson took pictures of my sisters and me having breakfast at Best Western honoring my sister Mary's 93rd birthday and e-mailing/texting the pictures to each of us. Outstanding performance in all respects!! W.D. McFarlane, Jr.
The staff were all welcoming and efficient, both coming and going. The lady who served breakfast handled a full house with no help, except for the overnight desk agent staying a little later to watch desk and phone, probably. Breakfast was really good for such a small space, as hotel breakfast go. Even the Dominos pizza delivery guy was so nice Saturday late night and Sunday morning, the same lady who served everyone breakfast and took over Front Desk duties afterwards gave us a great recommendation and directions to local lakeside enjoyment that was just right for our speed that day before driving home.
Two weary folks seeking peace and quiet after fleeing Gulf Coast/Hurricane Harvey. Most friendly staff ever made us welcome and comfortable. This BW hotel has small town charm and they treat their guest like family. We stay at this hotel every chance we get to visit Graham,TX.
So many motels clearly go down hill but this place appears to be maintained as it should be. Little towns like Graham don't have many choices, so it's nice to have a place to go each year when I come out west.
Great property and place to stay. Value is outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful, personable, and welcoming. The room and facilities were some of the best I have experienced in a long time. I will definitely stay in this property on my next visit. No more hunting around for a place to stay, I will book this facility in a flash.
I highly recommend BW in Graham, TX. It was clean and comfortable. the entire staff was absolutely amazing. Every staff member was friendly, caring and happy. It was delightful, thank you for a great experience. Thank you
Friendly staff, good price for quality of room & good breakfast. I wasn't blown away by anything but I had a nice stay & I would stay there again. The only problem I had was the latch on my door was loose & did not work.
We had a very pleasant experience. There were more of us coming in than were checking in with nothing being said. They let us hang out in the lobby after check out because we needed to be at a funeral home an hour and a half after check out. The entire staff could not have not have been nicer including the maids.
I stayed here one night in August 2017. Everyone was super friendly, the hotel was clean, bed was comfy, good AC, safe, all for under $100 bucks. Def. the place to say in Graham. I didn't get up in time for the breakfast but it's free.
The staff will go out of their way to help you. The rooms are average, as is breakfast. The beds are comfortable. The decor is typical for a Best Western. They have an outdoor pool, but I did not visit it.
We stayed at the Best Western in Graham this weekend for a night. We were on our way to Possum Kingdom Lake to meet our son. I can not tell you enough how nice the staff was. Nicole checked us in and was super nice. She even suggested a place for dinner. The pool was nice and located just off the lobby. The sodas in the machine were just a $1.75, that is cheaper than the store. The breakfast was so so, but we went at the end of the time so that is okay. We will stay here again next summer.
The hotel is conveniently located, accessible to local dining and/or shopping. Staff was incredible - helpful, personable, friendly - and the room was very comfortable. Although I was not pulling anything, I noted a designated parking area for folks hauling boats/trailers, and that impressed me. I happened to NOT be traveling with my dogs this trip; had they been with me, I would not have been able to stay here as this is not a pet friendly location :-( I didn't use either this stay, but both the pool and the fitness room looked adequate and clean. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was pretty standard - nothing to get excited about, but adequate. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you don't travel with pets.
Amazing polite friendly staff great rooms one of the best places to stay in graham! They are always friendly and helpful with any issues or requests you may have .... fast checkin and express checkout make it easy to be on your way.
Staff was friendly & helpful, facility was clean and beautiful, no roaches, free laundry. Didnt get to utilize the pool or breakfast but definitely will on our next trip to Graham as we are in Graham visiting my fiance every weekend at one of the rehabs there.
Great experience. Chose this hotel. We had a family reunion and found best Western in graham in the internet. The website stated all the rooms were booked for the weekend so we decided to call to check and luckily they had room for us. The staff is very friendly and the room is clean and comfortable.
this is a wonderful place. Beds were so comfortable!!! The carpets needed to be cleaned but it is a very busy place, so they might not have had time to clean them. Over all it was very clean and I would stay there again. The breakfast was wonderful and staff was very friendly.
very simple room. Clean, quiet, and cool. Wifi worked just fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not an overly amazing room, but it filled the bill and was a nice stay in a small town. I would stay again if I where to travel back there.
went to my dads for family reunion , Graham Texas is where we stayed , it's 12 miles from /Bryson Texas Was told pool was out ,but they got if fixed before we got there. Water was cloudy , kids loved it . when ATT towers went down all the kids almost had a heart attack . all in all we lived threw it. we booked because it was 20 cheaper , not sure if it was worth the money saved.
This property is on Hwy 16 South in Graham Texas and was typical of BW Plus. Appearance was clean, front desk was attentive and helpful. Breakfast was Ok for the free service, by 8 AM tho out of bacon, and only offered pork flat sausage. Eggs were ok. We did have a problem with the AC/H unit. It was extremely loud and since the property was sold out we could not move.
everything was ok, except for the broken down washing machine and the many many bugs everywhere. dead and alive. the pool was dirty and no one would swim in it. I ended up moving out of this hotel and staying at the holiday inn in a town called mineral wells. very nice hotel.
Went for the food truck championship on June 3rd. Very courteous and professional staff. The hotel was clean inside and out. The room was very clean. Will definitely stay at this location in the future.
Another fun stay at Graham. Family coming in to celebrate Mom's 90 B.D. Ryan very helpful with info to theater and eateries plus directions. Candace cheerful at 2:38am Sat. when we called to see if son's family made late night arrival. Grounds are newly landscaped and look great. Grand Kids loved the breakfast buffet. Plenty of selections. This hotel never fails to deliver to make folks feel at home.
The hotel was in good condition and the room was clean. However, there were a few working issues with the room. The breakfast was not edible, as my husband stated "the eggs were swimming in water and the bacon was swimming in grease." Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the hotel was nice in appearance.
We found this hotel to be nice with a friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was depleted and most all tables full in the dining area. There was no orange juice, and the waffle liquid had run out. The items that were available were good. We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.
The breakfast is terrible! However, the room was spotless. I can't say enough how clean the room wasThe staff was very friendly and eager to offer assistance. The hotel was very quiet and overall was very nice.
Came into town for a wedding, staying two nights. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The price for room was good. The only complaints were could hear people above us when we were trying to sleep and the mattresses were very hard. The furniture and carpet needs to be updated. We overall had a pleasant stay.and hotel was conveniently located to town.
I stayed here while attending a conference in Graham. It was only for one night, but I was comfortable while there and the staff were friendly. It was in a convenient location. Check-in and Check-out were both quick and efficient.
We really enjoy staying at this motel while visiting family in Graham... all staff are extremely friendly, everything in rooms was in working condition, including air conditioner, rooms were very clean.
awesomen the hotel was all you could want and more the staff clean rooms hot breakfast friendly atmosphere parking lot was trailer friendly plenty of room for us car show guys one of the first things a car show guy wants is a place for truck and trailer and man they have it
Hotel staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The breakfast was refilled when needed and never had to wait. The rooms were clean and beds I thought were comfortable. We will definitely stay their again next year
The check in and out was easy. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were more than I expected for a small town of about 9000. The quality was present in all things. The breakfast waffles really topped it off for me. I have stayed in Paris France at the Best Western and it beats the city of Love by a long shot.
Staid for three nights over Thanksgiving and received a friendly welcome from front desk staff Nicole. She assigned a quiet room at the end of the hallway. The king room had warped carpet, sofa with torn fabric and a coffee table, dresser, desk/table with chair, a good size fridge with freezer shelf, but the door trays were all broken out. The mini microwave has very little power, the TV has no HD channels and for unknown reasons, the picture was always zoomed, so that you could not see football scores, news banners or similar. Same on the TV in the breakfast room, seems to be a general set-up problem. The bathroom was standard, with patched tub, spots and drips on the walls - a sign of sloppy house keeping/cleaning. The bed's pillows were small and not well stuffed. Hardly any neck/head support when sleeping. A/C works well, but is noisy and will wake you up during the night. The breakfast experience was disappointing. A small room provides the buffet and six small tables to accommodate potentially 100-150 guests. Crowded, many guests carried their breakfast back to room or sat in the lobby, plates on their knees. Grease soaked bacon and meat-product patties, hardened egg burritos, lukewarm coffee. Front desk staff has to replenish buffet, which causes waiting guests on either side. It would not surprise me if the golden arches next door provide a better breakfast encounter. One night, the guests above our room trampled, bounced or similar until 2 am. Hotel staff Cecilia intervened several times on our behalf, to no avail. Fortunately, these inconsiderate guests left the next morning. In summary, this is not a "bad" hotel - but not a good one either. We will probably stay at the Holiday Inn Express next time when we visit Possum Kingdom Lake area. Nonetheless, they have very friendly and caring staff.
Drove almost 3 hours for a weekend getaway, room is ok. However pillows are small and we had to ask the desk twice for more pillows. There are 2 phones in the room and neither phone works. Mini fridge doesn't get very cold, thank goodness it was just Pepsi and Dr pepper we put in it. And the microwave won't work, it's just a big clock. And to top it all off, you have to fight with the TV remote to get it to change a channel. Will we come back again? VERY DOUBTFUL.
This property is a safe bet when in this part of Texas. It is consistent with the quality expected of a Best Western Plus - clean rooms in good repair, modern amenities, and clean. The staff was attentive and efficient. This is a fairly sparse region of the country and there is a lot of variation when looking for a hotel. Definitely consider this one in Grahm.
I received great service with ease of access. Nice and comfortable pillow top bed. Good nights sleep and a good breakfast started my day off on the right foot. I will return for pleasure trips as well as business trips. A great fitness center although I didn't use it others in my group did.
They have totally redone this Hotel. The last time we stayed here was over 10 years ago. It is so clean and we slept so good. The scrambled eggs had bits of bacon and cheese but not too much. Coffee is Folgers but it was perfect. If I had to say anything negative it would be the bed pillows. But I did not ask at the desk if they had options.
The staff is outstanding and very professional. However, the rooms are filled with filth and crickets. Disgusting carpets and crickets compromised the quality of the staff and all the efforts they make to accommodate their guest.
We stayed in a non smoking room and it reeked. We ended up going to the Walmart down the road and getting deodorizer to bare the smell. The sheets had stains on them and on one of the corners there was even a cigarette burn hole. Worst hotel ever. Do not stay here. Stay at one of the others down the road.
I came in for a funeral, which is always a depressing time. The girl at the front desk was so cheerful and welcoming! She did a great job at making us feel at home and even brightened our overall mood! Our room was great and very clean. Although the circumstances were bad, the experience and overall hotel was great!
2nd stay here but late noise was bad this time. Possibly in an adjoining room to ours or overnight staff? Couldn't really discern where noise was coming from and no one at front desk to help or complain to. Not necessarily staff's fault but still made for an unpleasant overnight stay this time.
Overall this isn't a bad place to stay. The rooms are fairly quiet and the area is decent. They do provide a gravel parking area for RV's and trailers, which is a plus. However, the rooms all seem to smell of smoke, even those that are in the non-smoking area. This is a major negative for people like me that hate cigarette smoke. Also, the bathtub looked like it had been quasi-repaired by someone that knew nothing about plumbing! The caulking around the overflow drain was cracking and made me wonder why it was even put there in the first place! Stay here if you are looking for a cheap place to pull over for the night. But the next time I'm in town I'll probably try elsewhere.
We've stayed here before. The hotel is really nice and the location is good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is hot and filling. The breakfast staff keep all the containers full and are very helpful. Our only issue this time was the 3rd floor. Half of the rooms are non-smoking and the other half are smoking. It was very smokey smelling in the halls. If you're a non-smoker, ask for another floor.
Here on business for 3 days and I was pleasantly surprised (and even shocked) that there are still smoking rooms available in hotels. I of course am a chimney but I am so use to stepping outside of the hotel to "puff" that entering my room I saw not one but 2 ashtrays. Throwback era to say the least. The room was spacious, clean and ample work space. I have no complaints. In fact I want to give a "shout-out" to Chelsea (front office) for making the check in process smooth & easy. Glad I chose the hotel and in fact I will be back next week. Thanks again Best Western for hiring good people
You do get what you pay for, but this was below our relative expectations. Stains on top blanket, dead bugs on bathroom floor upon arrival, aged and stained tub. We were uncomfortable staying here. The hotel can't control this but the entire 3rd floor smelled like cigarette/cigar smoke. It's a non-smoking hotel. Won't be coming back.
We arrived late, after 11:00 PM .. to a large clean room on the first floor. The girl at the desk was cheerful, informative and responded to our immediate needs (restroom). The king-sized bed in the room was comfortable (firm), the a/c worked great (the thermostat on the wall was accurate and located right next to the bed), there was a nice large screen TV and the bathroom was fully appointed and clean. Also, the wifi in the room worked great. We used the ironing board and iron in the room closet as we had an important meeting the next morning. Always nice when we find a nice motel/hotel in a small town. We slept well. The hot breakfast the next morning was adequate, but seating was very limited We did have one problem. After checking out of the motel, I could not find a medical cream that would be difficult to do without. I called the motel later the next day. They were most responsive, even invited me to check the room for myself (as it had not yet been rented again). We did find the cream later than day, not at the motel, but in the bottom of a suitcase. The staff could not have been more responsive to our needs. The next time we need a hotel in Graham, we'll return to Best Western.
Nice facility and good rates. Several little things that was not normal good BW quality. No TV listings in the room. Elevator id not work. Ice machines worked all working. Half the drink vending machines were empty. No express checkout. Computers in the Business Center were unusually hard to understand and use browser. Had hotel clerks try to assist and they could not get them to work either.
I thought the room was very comfortable. I thought the breakfast was excellent and the choice for the breakfast was very accommodating to all. I thought the bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice and always very clean. The staff was very friendly no matter what time of day I walked in. Also suggested very good restaurants to eat at.
Hotel was above average with good customer service, breakfast and comfortable bed. My only complaint was we arrived early around 2 pm and was informed in order to check-in early we would have to pay a $20.00 fee, needless to say we left and came back at regular check-in time. Overall a good stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
This hotel is very convenient, clean and fully equipped for a good stay, and Nicole the manager is beyond helpful and pleasant! It would be worth staying here just for her! The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was better than the usual hot breakfast, with bacon and sausage as well as the usual fare. I would feel comfortable recommending this hotel!
The room was nice, but dark. I would suggest different lighting. Also, all rooms should have an ironing board, especially for the business traveler. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The choices at this hotel's breakfast are minimal, but OK as far as hotel food goes.
Our stay was very brief but we had no complaints (the bed was a little too firm but the pillows were great). Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean and neat and the room was large. We would stay here again. We are Hilton Honors members but there are no Hilton hotels in Graham. This was a nice surprise--very good value for the money.
We live here in Graham, but we always rent rooms here for our family when they stay. They love it. Extremely clean, nice staff, and the price is perfect. Has to be the best hotel in Graham. The location is perfect near lakes, downtown, and places to eat. This is a must stay when in Graham.
Everyone is so nice and friendly, rooms are super, clean and breakfast is great, lady's at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, hotel is in center of town so you have great excess to every thing, when I go back for other deer hunting trips will be stay here.
I want you to know that this hotel is a really good hotel. Primarily because of Rachel at the front desk anything that I need it she took care of she made sure my fax went through it took three times because the line was busy but she stayed on it when I first got there my key wasn't working and she brought a key up to my room didn't make me go downstairs to get it. I'm telling you anything that I needed Rachel went out of her way to make sure that it got done. Because of her I will come back and back. Rachel you did a excellent job. Well done girl
Best hotel staff in the world! Needed a dress thrown in the dryer and extended check out time...they went above and beyond and did it with a smile! Their breakfast was great for a free hotel breakfast! This hotel is clean and neat! The doors are a little thin so you can hear noise well in the hall, so don't stay on the first floor if you're a light sleeper!! We learned that the hard way ?? that was literally my only complaint! Definately would stay again or recommend to a friend!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus in Graham Tx. The staff was very professional and helpful. I enjoyed the hot breakfast that was served. There were many items to choose from. There rooms were nicely decorated. I also liked the express check out.
Never stayed at a Best Western before. Room was ok but service was terrible. Stayed two nights so first morning they took the dirty towels but did not replace them. When I asked about new towels they said they were being washed. Second morning they just opened the door with out knocking first. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Had stayed in the Holiday Inn in Graham before. It was much better but this one wS slightly cheaper. But not worth the difference with all of what I experienced. Best Western is now off my list of places to stay.
Very clean, good value for the money. Breakfast left a lot to be desired with very limited choices. The big thing for me is that they open breakfast for us at 0500, not sure if this is the way it's usually done but it is every time I've stayed here. Lots of business patrons here due ot the oil and gas and wind turbine activity in the area.
The hotel was very clean (even smelled clean). The room was very comfortable with a comfortable, clean bed. I travel a lot for business and appreciate a good, clean and comfortable room. I will stay at this hotel again in the future.
The room was clean & the bed was fresh. The room did not smell clean. It smelled stale. I thought, ok, not bad. It was strange to flip the switch for the vent on the outside of the bathroom. There was dirt in each corner of the bathroom which made me wonder how much cleaning is really done. The lady at the desk when we came in was very pleasant. The price of the room was good. The breakfast could have a better variety of food.
Stayed during a recent road trip. Hotel was clean & comfortable. Room was quiet & a/c worked well. Front desk staff was very courteous & helpful. Hotel is average from a building perspective - older & dated. Breakfast was probably below average compared to most. Would stay again if the price was right.
