Best Western Antlers

Nice location - walking distance to all of the restaurants and the pool. Nice staff! Decent breakfast included! My kids overslept and missed breakfast by 8 minutes, the manager gave them wrapped muffins and apples to eat on the road. I have stayed there twice and will again. The room is clean and spacious. My husband forgot his toothbrush and they have supplies for a back-up .

Antlers is great place to stay in Glenwood. It's affordable, clean, quiet, and in a great location. The staff were attentive and friendly. The only negative thing during my stay was the heating and air unit and it wasn't even that bad. It worked well but it had a bit of a musty smell.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Antlers Mar. 10-12. I gave it two stars for the overall experience we had there. The room was clean and comfy. No problems there. But after that it went down hill. First the most important thing i want is good nights sleep with a quiet room. In our room the heater sounded very much like a diesel truck when it was on. I found it impossible to sleep with the heater on. Plus when i pushed the 'on' button the cover on unit fell open. We stayed two nights. My solution, notice i said MY solution was to add a blanket and sleep with no heat. The morning after my sleepless night with heat i went to the gentleman at the front desk to complain and the response i got was quote " I'll have to listen to it before i can move you'. Standing behind him was a maintenance man and he quipped "yeah they all make noise'. This is terrible customer service. These people have no interest my needs as a paying customer. It's not front desk man's ear's that have to put up with that racket all night it's mine! I told the front desk guy 'Remind me to never stay here again' He said nothing. The conversation ended there. The breakfast staff was efficient in keeping food and supplies well stocked but there are issues there too. As i sat there watching one particular lady working the breakfast buffet she took out an empty cardboard box through the back door to the trash/recycle bin returned, picked up a piece of trash from the floor placed it in the trash bin then with out changing her gloves rearranged all the fresh bread slices in the bread bin. This is gross. That cardboard box could have all kinds of crude on it not to mention the doors to the back where she just came from. Clearly she needs more training on best sanitation practices. The room as i mentioned was clean however besides the ancient noisy heater the carpet was torn and frayed at the bathroom entrance. No effort was mad to repair or fix it. Now i may be out of the loop on shower curtain designs but one would think it should be long enough to tuck into the tub preventing water from splashing onto the bathroom floor. Not in this room. It was about 6" too short. Consequently the water splashes all over and soaks the bath mat. Then the door needed work as well. There is a full 1/4" gap between the door and jamb. No seal what-so-ever. Pictures below. Clearly Best Western has neglected this facility for sometime. BW needs to invest money to repair/replace the heaters, room maintenance and re-train the staff on customer service and food handling.

Stayed for 2 nights in the executive suite. Very clean. Great breakfast. Used the hot tub, very nice that the wall was let down to experience the fairy lights. Great location with a view. Would definitely stay again!

The Best Western Antlers is tucked away on the north side on the highway and you can barely hear the road. While rooms are somewhat dated, they are clean and functional. Front desk staff is friendly and genuine. Stayed here a few times now and it's been great every time.

We had a fabulous experience here! The staff was amazing! Warm, friendly, helpful and on it! Dulce checked us in and was so sweet! Jenn who also works the front desk was super helpful and friendly. The head of service was also helpful and kind! Their room attendants were nice and gave us everything we needed with a smile. The women who kept the breakfast going did a wonderful job. The rooms were extremely clean! They were cute and cozy. Small but had what we needed and we enjoyed our stay so much I extended it and we stayed 4 nights! Their grounds were well kept and they had a lot of surprisingly great amenities! We would love to come back!!

Needs updating to old to be in the Best Western group. I were upset by the price to quality ratio.I would chose another hotel to stay in the area. It looked liked they had done a very cheap refit some years ago.

I chose this place due to things 1. They are veteran friendly and offer a discount. Two it was close to what we the places that we wanted to see and the things are we wanted to do. From here you could walk around to all the attractions.

The people that work at the front desk are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. They have free soap for the washing machine as well as feminine supplies if needed. I came to sit in the lobby for a short break from my kiddos and the woman was happy to turn the juice on so I could get a little orange juice. The breakfast is nice. Waffles, eggs, potatoes every day with a change between sausage and bacon. I really wish they had an indoor pool but the hot tub is huge and my kids still had fun. They have room with 3 queen beds which is nice when you have teenagers.

The Best Western antlers is in a great is in a great location. Plenty of restaurants and activities to do. The staff is amazing. They treat you like you own The place. I will definitely be coming back again. Next time I come to Glenwood Springs

Well where do I start? I got a big welcome wave from outside the doors welcoming in from the 2 Jens. Extremely helpful, pleasant, gregarious, witty and helpful the whole stay. It was like a winter wonderland with all the extras. The jacuzzi. The Heated pickleball courts, the view facing the moutains… WOW! The team was next to me on the mountain . Very coool! The host the next day was really nice and friendly. She was a previous blackjack dealer in Vegas. I could talk to her and the two Jens all day! Will definitely be back !! U will love this hotel

This is where we stay when we go to Glenwood Springs, always a great stay! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, it's nothing fancy but is very warm, comfortable and we always look forward to staying at the BW Antlers!

We had booked a room for two nights. Upon arriving in town, we noted this is not a hotel but a motel - a defining feature and even definition of a hotel is rooms are accessed from corridors inside a building and by passing through a lobby and front desk and not from the outside. This property has all rooms accessed from the outside - right off the parking lot or stairs to upper levels. We decided to cancel our reservations, and the front desk person said if we felt we were misled, he would cancel the reservations without penalty. I don't think this is a case of being "misled" by anyone. Again, hotels do NOT have rooms accessible from the parking lot - that is a motel, and this property is listed as a hotel on their site and on Google. I encourage this property to change its description to a motel and not a hotel. Otherwise, nice looking property.

We stayed here for one night, in September, and the beds were good, the staff seems to cater to almost anyone travelling, meaning that your 'neighbors' in adjoining rooms may smoke out a bit, and party sometimes, but overall, we needed a place to stay, shower, and relax, and this was it. About average for a Best Western, but staff was friendly, and overall I will stay there again.

We stayed here for one night on a road trip to AZ. The location is very convenient to everything. We chose this property because they allow pets and we were traveling with our dog. It has a main lodge with several lodge like buildings so we were able to park right in front of our room and unload. The rooms are decent and clean, and we were on the 1st floor of a two story. If we stayed again I would request a room on the 2nd level so we would get s little more light. Breakfast was good and was served in the main lodge.

Very clean, and they have done a decent attempt to keep it fairly modernized, but it's a big older, doors on outside motel. Beds are dated and well used. I hate giving only 3 stars to a place that's trying like this, but it's really just an average motel. Staff was A+, especially the manager with the crew cut. Give him a raise.

Awesome hotel to stay at! Very clean,full breakfast, and amazing staff! Staff were kind throughout the whole stay! From the moment we arrived til the moment we left! Will definitely stay here again in the near future!

We love this hotel! Great pool for the kids and the breakfast is pretty decent for a continental. Easy walk to town where there are tons of restaurants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to go back!

We traveled by train and wanted an affordable and comfortable place to stay. This is exactly what we needed: Walking distance to everything you want to do in town. Big and well maintained property with outdoor areas to relax. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed!

We arrived at check in time of 3 pm, our room was not prepared yet, were told it would be 5 pm before it was ready. Two people were working the desk at that time. We returned at 5 pm, there was a line of 5 people waiting for service that the desk, and only one person staffing the desk. It took another 15 minutes to reach the desk. I have to admire the desk staff, she was excellent, maintaining a professional attitude under pressure. We had a pet with us, I believe the motel may have dinged us an additional charge, above the advertised pet charge, on the final bill. Hard to say, because they did not send an itemized bill. We got the total bill, but not itemized. Overall, even with the murky bill, the motel was a pretty good stay, I would stay here again.

The honeymoon suite was so nice to stay at for our mini honeymoon directly after our wedding! We live in Denver and did the fairly quick drive up to Glenwood to get away for a couple of days. This hotel was perfect location for getting to the delicious restaurants around town. Also located right next to the Iron Mountain hotsprings (highly recommend) and the Adventure park (highly recommend)!

I actually was scheduled to stay at another property which was not as advertised. I went to BWAntlers and ask if they had availability and would they show me a room as I was not trusting pictures on the internet any more. They were happy to accommodate my request. Best place to stay. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished, lots of ammenities available. Definitely a 5 star hotel!

Wonderful and well kept grounds, centrally located in GS, near restaurants and the 2 hot springs.Room remodeled and very comfortable, front desk very efficient. Breakfast well stocked and many choices. Other properties should take notice.

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, room was comfortable, big and well equipped. Only criticism is the lighting was terrible, very dark , but that seems usual in many hotels we've stayed at. Breakfast area was big and well stocked with lactose free milk which was appreciated Good location to walk to town and the hot springs We were disappointed to only have one night there

The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful! Willing to help us find the best bang for our buck. Pet friendly is a huge bonus! The room was clean and well kept. The hotel grounds are magical! :)

We are an older couple and have vacationed in this town over several decades. We like to be in the mountains and have some time with nature. This is possible at BW Antlers if you can reserve a room facing trees and grass. The property is well landscaped with huge trees, bushes and flowers. Outdoor chairs (and rocking chairs) are plentiful. Even in the newly developed areas, many new trees and bushes have been planted are are growing fast. The outdoor pool is so much nicer than any indoor pool because the air is fresh in this mountain town, Glenwood Springs. Several hot springs pools are in town for soaking and healing.

This hotel is much more than a regular hotel. It is more of a resort. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The location is perfect and close to everything. The customer service is superb. They have bicycles you can use and equipment for several leisure activities right on the grounds of the hotel. I highly recommend staying here if visiting Glenwood Springs Colorado.

Excellent hotel for the price. Many amenities to choose from. Room was clean, comfy, and quiet. Breakfast was good and breakfast area was clean. Fire pits were a nice touch at night. Pool was clean and safe.

The custom service is top rated and the location is perfect, the breakfast is excellent to give you good boost for the hikings and the service is everyday. Also they have coffee 24/7, and is quiet place to stay

Fantastic hotel. This hotel was top notch. Great AC and comfy clean rooms. The amenities were awesome. We played pickle ball several times and spent hours at the pool. At night we had fun with other guests around the campfires. Breakfast was really good and they had quality coffee in the lobby available all day. The location was perfect too. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We also took advantage of the 10% off at Iron Mountain. The staff were friendly and professional. The staff goes above and beyond for their guests. Clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast is great! We loved the pool and very large hot tub, our grandchildren loved the kiddie pool. BW had floaties for everyone to use in the pool. The rooms were nice sized,clean. We loved we could walk to many attractions,restaurants, hot springs, and shopping. Free bike rental was great. They have 3 outdoor fire pits that were amazing to sit at every night. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Family of 5 visiting from the U.K. and on a road trip from Phoenix to Denver. Stayed 4 nights in two rooms at the BW Antlers. Overall it was a good choice - our rooms in Moose were comfortable and had great views out towards the mountains. Only real negative was that the two rooms were on different levels - I had booked several months ago (Platinum member) so had hoped that this could have been better accommodated. Our teenagers enjoyed the swimming pool and it was handy having a free breakfast each morning (although after a couple of days it would have been nice to have had more variety). Food was “ok” but nothing special. Great location - we rented e-bikes across the road and cycled through the Canyon, visited the Hot Springs and also the Caverns Adventure Park, and all were a short walk from the hotel. Highlight of our stay was the hike up to Hanging Lake - the trailhead is a 10 min drive from the hotel. The downtown area with shops and restaurants was only a 10 minute walk (although we were surprised how many restaurants were closed on some evenings leading to long waits for the others). Overall I would recommend this hotel for the location and good value comfortable rooms.

One of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at. Rooms were quiet and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Pool/Jacuzzi well maintained. Firepits were nice and cozy. There are two awesome pickleball courts. Grounds have lots of seating and a playground and swings throughout. All very well maintained and close to town. Across the street from Blue Sky Adventures where we booked our rafting. They also have bike rentals etc. Highly recommend. Down the street is Iron Mountain Hot springs...Highly recommend. Walking distance to Glenwood Hot Springs and shopping/dining downtown. I am not able to walk far distances but managed. Would recommend driving and parking downtown if walking is difficult for you. Lovely area and wish we had spent an extra day there exploring more!

Our family spent a long weekend in GWS using Amtrak. The hotel has incredible amenities for families (pickle ball, bikes, pool, volleyball) and it was a very easy walk from the station. Prices were fantastic compared to the other “historical” hotels. Staff was super friendly, accommodating, and let us keep our bags in the office until our train departure. Loved it!!

This is a fabulous family hotel in Glenwood Springs. They have a great hot breakfast every morning and a cute playground on-site. The rooms are super clean and spacious. It is also has a pool and hot tub on site, and is within walking distance of the Big Glenwood mineral springs pool. A beautiful spot!

Wish we had more time to enjoy all of the amazing amenities this Best Western has to offer! The staff was so kind, especially Jerry who was truly dedicated to make sure our stay was the best- which it was! We borrowed the bikes and had such a fun morning exploring Glenwood and the canyon. This will be our go-to whenever visiting the area!

Gorgeous grounds and friendly team! A real retreat! Could walk to everywhere we wanted to go! Rooms felt like a cabin the woods. Played Cornhole on the hounds which were exquisitely landscaped. Bikes available for free!

The Best Western Antlers is like a mini resort within Glenwood Springs. The bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the grounds were gorgeous. I am recommending this hotel to my family and friends - seriously exceeded all my expectations.

Travelled from Frisco to this hotel. Lovely room in this hotel with an excellent view. Downtown is only a short walk away. Only four stars as the breakfast could have been better - but was acceptable. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful area with pristine landscaping, good breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Biggest issue was lack of cleanliness around hot tub and pool areas. Also, no fans or vents in the room but manageable.

This Best Western offers many amenities including a pool, hot tub, outdoor activities, games to borrow and bicycles (not clearly advertised). The location is great if you like to walk -- it is close to River Front Park and the gondolas to the Amusement Park and Caves (plus we got a 10 % discount). It is also a good location for driving to several different hikes. Good breakfast, many choices and good with children including for breakfast. If you want to work out indoors, however, be aware there is not gym.

It has always been good except one time the lady at the front desk was unwilling to give me any break on the rate which was about $180 a night on the off season. I stayed at another motel that night. Other than that, everything has been wonderful.

Unbelievable this place is awesome great service great breakfast. Why can't every place be like this. I'm glad I'm a Best Western member and this place is the very best. Very clean and extremely friendly staff.

We had a fantastic stay at The Best Western Antlers. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a 3 Queen suite which had a separate bedroom with a queen bed and two Queens in main room. The bathroom was great, TV worked well with so many channels. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was really good too with a better, wider range of choices than I was expecting. The hotel was in a good spot walkable to shops, restaurants, hot springs and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel staff were also very friendly and we felt right at home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location in Glenwood Springs. Staff is terrific and the continental breakfast is really good. Delicious green chili, sausage, eggs, potatoes and waffles along with yogurts and cereal. Able to walk from hotel to pool, downtown, parks, restaurants and gas station.

The hotel is absolutely great value. We were comfortable in our rooms, the breakfast‘s waffle station was pretty sweet, the amazing staff makes you feel like family and are very attentive. The hotel has a hot jacuzzi in which you can open the doors and look at the outside WHILE doing laundry as it is literally in the same building, which we absolutely loved. They have several fire pits that they can turn on for you. The place has an amazing location, being close to pretty much anything interesting in Glenwood. I would definitely return.

We stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Year's and the place was made up for the holidays. Very cozy and well decorated. The breakfast was very good and the lobby was the kind of warm inviting place you don't want to leave. Rooms (upstairs) had nice high ceilings and were very roomy. Older property has been upgraded. Reasonably priced rooms are a steal. Snowed a few times and they were very quick with salting walkways and plowing lots. Only downside was thin walls and our neighbors providing an unwanted adult entertainment show at 2 and 7 am…even so, we will ask for an end unit next time to minimize neighbors.

The only issue was that the heat fan was sooo loud. We could hardly hear the tv. we would stay there again and we do recommend it. The hot tub was really nice. Our battery and the car died because of the cold and they were so quick to give us a jump so we could get back home.

Anytime I am in Glenwood I stay at this location and will continue too. The rooms are affordable, clean and the front desk is very helpful. We walked across the pedestrian bridge and it was very close so we enjoyed the location. I'll stay here again! 4th time staying so far!

I have stayed in several Glenwood Hotels but my go-to hotel for family and leisure is the Antlers Hotel, a Best Western brand. The hotel is in great proximity to town, the hot springs', and gondola. The hotel is in a quiet, parklike setting which is great for kids and dogs and they have all sorts of amenities including a very good breakfast, pool and unique outside campfire areas for families to gather.

Jeremy gave us top notch service when checking us in, he clearly loves his job and was super nice and efficient. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. Ideal location, super close to the main hot springs pool and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Full breakfast every day was delicious and had so many choices. The fire pits around the property were super nice and cozy. I am already planning another stay here.

The Best Western Antlers was a great choice to stay in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It was affordable and convenient. We loved the fact of having complimentary breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely would recommend for anyone visiting in the area.

Friendly, professional staff. Great breakfast selection. From start to finish everything was great. The front desk staff were all professional and kind. We're able to give options and ideas of the local area.

We stayed on a Saturday night, the price we paid for this room was wildly high. We were traveling with family, who had a much nicer room across the street, and they paid the same price as we did. They also actually slept. Our heating/cooling unit was so loud, everytime it turned on it woke us. Then the tv remote also would not work, we could not turn the volume down or the tv off.

This BW was nice. No complaints. Have only 3 stars because they wanted $10 to upgrade. I've never heard of such a thing. I don't really have anything else to comment on, but I have to use at least 200 characters in order to post this. So please accept my apologies for rambling on.

This property was such a gem, the grounds were well kept and there are stunning views in every direction! The breakfast was great, I chose to sit outside and drink my coffee. Upon checkout the general manager inquired about my stay and was very polite. Will be back!

This hotel is in an amazing location! The grounds are so beautiful. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast has lots of options. The staff is there helping answer questions and re-stocking. Plenty of seating at breakfast. The four queen room was amazing. SPACOIUS! And very reasonably priced!

We have made a point to stay in Best Western hotels whenever we have the option over many decades due to their reputation for well-managed, high quality accommodations. Our current hotel experience has changed my mind about the brand. I messaged this property ahead of time to request a room close to the breakfast area due to a family member's disability. Upon checkin at 5 pm I was told the only room we could have was on the second floor in an outbuilding down a hill from the main office where breakfast is served. The next morning the front desk staff told me that I should have called instead of filling out the online request form and were unapologetic. The BW in Utah we stayed at last week. handled our disability request beautifully via the messaging app. We requested housekeeping service on checkin and phoned the office again in the morning. When we returned to our room at 2 pm the room was not cleaned and again requested housekeeping. Eventually, a bag of towels was dropped outside our door. but the beds were not made. The breakfast area ran out of certain items by 8 am, although breakfast ended at 930, which I was told would not be restocked. If your hotel is full and you do not have the staff or resources to accommodate the guests then you should not be accepting reservations for all the rooms. Overall a very disappointing experience for an overpriced property. We paid over $500 for a 2 night stay.

This was our third reservation at the Best Western Antlers celebrating my wife and mine 9th anniversary. We've always enjoyed staying at the Best Western Antlers. The grounds keeping and foliage is immaculate and well maintained. The parking is fantastic. The rooms are nice. The crew that prepares and serves the breakfast are outstanding and amazing and they are by far topnotch. I wish I could say the same for the management and front desk personnel but unfortunately I can't. My wife and I are good guests. We clean up after ourselves regularly. My issue is I asked repeatedly if our bed could be made/serviced just so we could experience clean sheets and covers at least once during our stay. I was told this would be taken care of by the daytime manager and it wasn't. In addition to requesting that our room and bedding be serviced her tone was condescending and abrupt. I honestly don't know why or what initiated this unexpected response. My reviews are honest and straightforward. I'm a fulltime hard working person just like the folks who work at this establishment. This was the first time I ever felt inclined to submit a negative review of the Best Western Antlers and I'm not certain that any other guest had a similar experience. Its our favorite place to stay in Glenwood Springs and I recommend it but I am hoping that moving forward that a our stay there isn't marred by what I assumed was a simple request.

Totally loved the convenience of our stay. Dog Station that was very clean right out front and shaded with lots of grass. .7 miles to walk to Iron Mountain .6 to Glenwood springs and can walk to the Gondolas as well. Rooms were clean and breakfast was ready to go. We will be back

Dates of our stay, 09/04 through 09/06/2022 This is the nicest BW we have ever stayed at. I don't know how old it is but it's very well kept. In addition to a pool, they also have a lighted tennis court, bicycles, board games and puzzles, an outdoor fireplace and a picnic area with grills. Our room was clean, beds very comfortable and location is convenient to everything in Glenwood Springs, but it's a small city. All rooms are non-smoking, but you can smoke outside of your room. Recommend and would stay here again.

The best thing about this hotel is the outside. Buildings and grounds are very pretty. Not a lot of “plus” about the room we stayed in. A standard king room, it was small and dark, even with all the lights on. The plus: updated and clean with a large double vanity and comfortable bed. Shower was a trickling rainfall, not enjoyable. Biggest issue was toilet did not work at all! We were settled in room and didn't discover it until after dinner and didn't want to move so it was really annoying. Newly remodeled room, so what's with the toilet? They should check the flush when cleaning rooms. Also a TV issue and had to call for that. Price of room was not cheap, so we're disappointed in this motel/ hotel. Breakfast was the usual and good, with great coffee. Still, wouldn't stay here again because of the glitches.

My husband and I stayed one night, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was much better than expected. We will definitely stay here again.

Not a terrible hotel but does need some attention. They have done some updates so it looks alright. But the window in the bathroom should be sealed up. So many bugs come in especially when you have the lights on. They clearly didn't clean the bathroom since there was hair and a hair tie in the shower and stuff hanging from the ceiling above the sink, like the previous tenant hung decorations up and failed to remove all the stuff. The hotel served it's purpose for us but definitely needs some work!

My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights while visiting Glenwood Caverns. The Gondolas are a 5 min walk which is why we chose this place. It was really nice to be able to walk to a lot of close by attractions, but overall the stay was awesome because of the amenities. The pool/jacuzzi and complimentary breakfast were awesome! I liked not having to worry about going out for breakfast after a night at the bar. We also loved hanging out in the pool area. Jacuzzi could have been slightly hotter but honestly it was still pretty good. Room was clean and air conditioning was awesome in the heatwave we were experiencing. Overall I will probably go here again when we visit Glenwood Springs again!

Antlers is newly remodeled and the rooms we stayed in were perfect. Very clean, good beds, spacious, roomy bathrooms with double sinks, frig/microwave, hard-working friendly professional staff, huge complimentary breakfast, lots of outdoor spaces to sit and relax, pool. This is now our go-to place to stay in Glenwood Springs. We'll come back!

We had a few days in Glenwood Springs and we're very happy with our hotel choice.....great swimming pool with lots of kids who played with one another, good breakfast, quiet rooms. I really liked having outdoor tables so we ate carry-out for dinners versus waiting at restaurants.

Newly remodeled and very clean. Beautiful new design and 2 pools and a large hot tub. Staff is above average on their customer service and willing to do lots to help. They seemed to be a step ahead of what I needed and very friendly.

The front desk staff (one in particular) was rude. Our rooms were not ready at check-in and were still dirty when we did finally get to check-in. Breakfast and pool are good. Location is close to town. Beautiful outer grounds.

We have had our family reunion of over 120 people at the Antlers Best Western three times since 2014 and each time we have had excellent service. We love the beautiful grounds, playground, horseshoes, volleyball, and fire pit gathering areas. Plenty of grassy areas to get together as a family group and enjoy the beautiful weather. The property is well-maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and they have resumed a full hot breakfast with waffles, breads, sausage links, scrambled eggs, green chili (amazing!), oatmeal with toppings, yogurt with toppings, fruit, muffins, juice and coffee! The staff is quick to respond to requests and do their best to meet your needs.

This is probably worst Best Western I stayed at (not the worst hotel, though). The room was clean and modern looking. However, I had an impression that the hotel tries to save money without taking customers into consideration. So there is no room service (Covid is still the excuse) during the stay - 3 nights for me. I can deal with that. I can make (or not) my own bed and reuse towels. But to have garbage cans without the garbage bags? Not acceptable. It's not about environment, it's pure cost saving. The complementary supplies also very scarce (1 set). Breakfast - average. I liked their yogurt dispenser. And the key cards got deactivated every day, I had to go to the front desk two days in the row to get that fixed.

Beautiful location, very well kept facilities, pool, fire pits with plenty of seating around them. Extremely pleasant & helpful staff. Breakfast had great variety, preparation, taste & cleanliness. Only regret was we only spent one night as we was on our way home from vacation. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a 3 queen bed one room suite and it was clean and beds/pillows were very comforable. The breakfast was SO good! I thought it would be lame for the price we paid but it was amazing! Hear shaped waffles,scrambled eggs toast and much more.

I spent three nights at this hotel with three adults and two kids. What I liked about this hotel is that they had an outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, and an indoor hot tub (with big open access to outside). You can ask for pool towels at the front desk which is across from the pool. There is a cute little park for kids on the hotel grounds. The location is great since you have easy walking access to the Adventure Park, restaurants, and the hot springs, etc. Also, I was able to get accommodations with three queen beds at a reasonable price. One of the queen beds was in a separate room. The beds were not that comfortable, though. They have a mini fridge and a small microwave. The televisions were on the small side, but there was one in the main room and one in the bedroom. The door to the toilet and tub/shower was very large and so if a person was standing at one of the two sinks, they were in the way of the door. Breakfast (included) had a lot of choices, but there were no changes to the daily offerings. The problem I encountered was that we had no maid service the entire time. Upon checkout, I was told that I should have read the sheet of paper I was given when I checked in. On it, it said that if we wanted maid service during our stay, we were to tell the front office at the time of breakfast. They will then empty the garbage, make the bed (not change the sheets), give you fresh towels, and vacuum. I didn't read the sheet and I have never heard of this procedure before. They said it was because of COVID.

Terrible shower water pressure. We stayed in room 264. We complained to the front desk 4 times over 3 days. They said they would have their maintenance department look at it, or bring in a plumber. But nobody did anything about it. The shower pressure was so weak, you couldn't fully rinse shampoo out of your hair. Unacceptable. After we got home, we reached out to the gm Scott Dyer and asked him for a partial refund. He never responded to 2 emails, 1 letter and 1 phone call. Burying your head in the sand and failing to acknowledge a problem is a lousy way to demonstrate hospitality. Follow up calls to the main Best Western customer service department were unproductive. They said they had no authority to compel an independent hotel manager to do the right thing. Next time we go back to Glenwood Springs, we'll choose another hotel. If you decide to stay at the Best Western Antlers, I advise you to run the shower before you unpack your luggage.

Mel is one of the kindest people I've been around. The best part of my stay was the breakfast because of Mel! He is very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Even if you can't stay the night, stop by for breakfast!

Mel is the best breakfast attendant I've ever dealt with! He's very friendly, encouraging, and helpful! He's always got a good word and a smile. I hope that he's here a long time! You won't find a better dining room worker!

Nice motel. Older but nicely updated. Great breakfast. Only downside(and this seems to be with the case with most motels these days) is they no longer offer daily maid service. Not sure if this is still due to COVID or what, and I'm okay with it but they should notify you at check-in so you can get any additional items you might need during your stay(soap, shampoo, coffee, etc..).

I've stated at this location several times, in this experience has me looking for a different place to stay. My sink was slow draining in the bathtub not drain at all when though for the staff “accommodated“ my needs I was met with snarking remarks the rest of my stay. I will no longer be staying at the Best Western Antlers in Glenwood Springs Colorado after the poor customer service experience I had.

The Motel was located with easy access off the Highway. At check in the staff was friendly and helpful, but the room left a bit to be desired, the betting although clean was stained. The fan in the bathroom never worked, and the room need updating.

This hotel is a gem!!!! We typically stay in Carbondale or Basalt for our Spring & Fall LAX tournaments, but decided on BW Antlers due to lack of availability elsewhere. Boy are we happy we did!!! Super friendly staff, beautiful grounds w/small playground, amazing Mountain views, sparkling clean rooms, and my kids loved the outdoor pool & hot tub! Not to mention the best breakfast we've had at a hotel in a long time! We will never stay anywhere else when we visit the area!!!!

Heading to Denver, we found that Vail Pass was closed, forcing us to stay overnight in one of our favorite destinations. Oh shoot! We've stayed here before and have always had a pleasant, comfortable and safe stay.

Nice Hotel, close to everything and lots of space to walk the dogs. Very quite location, walking distance to most of the attractions. Rooms are clean and freshly renovated. Breakfast could be better but above average for the price.

Very cute… but it ends there. Tried to check only to find an empty lobby… no checking person. We waited 10-15 minutes along with several other parties for him to show up. The room wasn't the cleanest. Dirty bathroom floor, No water pressure in shower, water Luke warm at best. The remote wouldn't turn on the tv. Overall it looks like a management issue.

My family and I love taking little jaunts up the hill from Denver, and Glenwood has been on the list for some time. We often stay at hotels at a similar price point, and usually get a good, similar experience. However, the BW Antlers blew us away. The room was lovely, clean, well appointed, and spacious with extra bathroom space, closet space, and room to move. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. They have a full offering of items, with special touches like 3 waffle makers with an assortment of toppings, warmed green chili, and syrup flavors for coffee drinks. What put this place over the top was Mel. Mel facilitates breakfast at the BW Antlers, and a more lovely host and human you will not find. Mel made certain all of our needs were met, made us feel so welcome and special. He clearly cares deeply about his work and his customers. He was such a bright light to start our days! He is worth the stay alone. We will be back!

For the money, one of my best hotel experiences ever! Clean, friendly staff, great location. Great breakfast, the green chili puts it over the top! Staff member Mel was SO friendly and warm, helping us start our day right!

Check in was easy. I had booked through hotels.com and apparently selected a queen size bed. At check in I asked to upgrade to two beds, but was told all they had left were rooms with only one queen bed - not even king size beds. My daughter and I were able to sleep in the bed together, but would have been better if it was at least a king. Got to our room and wasn't even sure it was cleaned. Found a huge finger/toe nail on the night stand, lots of long black hairs in the tub and on the bathroom floor, there were gross looking stains on the chair… we wondered if the sheets were even changed. The bath towels are a joke… they leave two tiny bath towels and one cheap wash cloth for use. The complimentary lotion was half used - luckily I bring my own. You can hear everyone around you coming and going, plus the people on either side of your room. The walls are very thin. The next morning we went down to the complimentary breakfast. There were scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, waffle/pancake making station, muffins, oranges and apples. Only ate a packaged muffin as it was pretty well grazed. We were maybe going to stay a second night but changed our minds as it was not comfortable. I can't believe the good reviews this place gets.

We went on a ski trip in the area. We're a family of six and got a room with 3 beds. Although the room was a little light with the 6 of us with all of our gear, it worked. I'm not normally a fan of doors that open directly to the outside, but it made it easy loading and unloading our ski gear each day. The breakfast was really good but the breakfast host was amazing. Mel took care of us like we were at a resort. By the 2nd morning he already knew what we would get to drink and have it ready at the table. We would go back just to experience Mel's hospitality. It's not a 5 star hotel and they're not charging like one either. It's a good hotel with a good rate. It's just a short walk to restaurants, shopping and to the amazing Hot Springs Pool.

Antlers is clean and well located. However, it is elderly. The bathroom shower has been updated, but the toilet is so low you free fall onto it. It also gives you a free "bath" with each flush. Toilet paper is #3 sandpaper. The breakfast buffet is BORING, It's the same every day. You need to ask for additional toiletries and towels at check in, if there are more than 2 of you for 1 night.

This is the friendliest staff we have met anywhere. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. There are two sinks in the bathroom, and two chairs so both guests can sit! The breakfast is well-appointed and tasty. The salsa for your scrambled eggs has some good heat to it and may be someone's family recipe. The internet signal is strong and the connection fast. We get a kick out of the ruminant-themed building names: Elk (our favorite), Moose, Deer, etc. (It is Antlers, after all!) We have been fans of a particular national brand's express/breakfast hotels, but Antlers has us thinking Best Western is the better - and more economical - choice.

My wife and I usually make a couple of trips per year to the hot springs pool and either stay at the BW Antlers, or at another hotel at the west end of town. Even though Antlers isn't the least expensive it's always been a nice place to stay. A professional staff, nice clean rooms, a large parking lot, a very nice breakfast, and it's location is very nice.

Horrible customer service at the front desk from the general manager. They double charged me for a 3 days stay and when I called to correct the issue the general manager was unapologetic. He acted confused as to how to look up my reservation and didn't understand the difference between a pending authorization and and an actual charge. I was charged twice, once when i prepaid and booked online and then they charged me again when I checked out. Mind you this was not an authorization or a pending transaction it cleared and they were fully paid two times. He said oh that will go away in 7-10 business days. I said I'm sorry but that's a lot of money to me and this wasn't my mistake I would like a better understanding of your process and why this takes so long. What if I need the money to pay for gas or groceries and he said sorry have a nice day mam and hung up the phone on me. So just know when you stay here if you have any issues or need any type of help they will not assist you. If they overdraw your bank account from their mistake they will not care.

We were driving from Denver to Salt Lake, and hotel prices were very expensive everywhere. I found a reasonable price here and booked without knowing anything about Glenwood Springs. Both the hotel and Glenwood Springs were way above expectations. The breakfast was especially good compared to other places I've been at this price level. Thanks for breakfast, Mel!

For $200 a night, I expected a bit more. Our room was spacious for 4 people and had a decent bathroom. This is just a two story motel spread over several buildings. We had to drive to the lobby for our complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was good, but we were told by the lady on duty that the roads were in bad shape and that she didn't think we would make it to our next destination. We called our next hotel and they said the roads were fine.

I highly recommend this BW. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Gregory the Director of rooms couldn't have been nicer, Scott the general manager extremely helpful. This place is very clean, the breakfast area is constantly monitored. Food is warm and fresh. Will definitely stay there again, great value for the money.

We stay here every year on our trip from Denver to Los Angeles. We have a dog. It is one of the few dog-friendly places in the area. Breakfast always exceeds expectations, and we stayed 2 nights and visited Aspen for a day. Wish the internet was faster, but other than that it is 5-star.

Booked a room for the New Years weekend in Glenwood Springs. Was not able to make it do to the snow storm and roads. Tried to cancel my reservation for a refund. The lady at the location in Glenwood Springs was very rude and unprofessional. Tried getting a refund and she said I would have to contact the online reservations. I did that and after sending them all my information on the reservation they kept responding that they could not find my reservation. You had no trouble finding the reservation to bill me but you couldn't find it to address a cancelation and refund. After sending the information multiple times and receiving the same exact message almost instantaneously, I realized it was a canned message and they would not and had no intention of helping me with a refund. So I am out $500 because of this. The only thing I can do is tell all my friends and social media how Best Western treats their customers.

Lady at front counter was short and rude with me. Wanted to make another reservation, she cut me off and hung up on me. I have been saying at the Antlers for decades (my parents brought me there). Very dissapointed

My family and I stayed here for the first weekend this December. Please check on a map of the buildings that take you away from the road noise because there are a few. The hotel was so beautifully dressed up for the holidays. I didn't know that there are 3-4 outdoor fire pits that are lit up from 6:00-!0:00, at least on the weekends which was so nice. Great pickle ball court, outdoor pool and indoor Jacuzzi. The orange juice at the cafeteria had real pulp in there and the green chili was terrific. Actually, breakfast was very good for a buffet style. Beds were awesome and bathrooms renovated with walk in showers. All nicely updated. Will stay again. Happily surprised with this hotel!

This is a very nice hotel. Large with lots of buildings and amenities. Including a couple fire pit areas. Breakfast was great with lots of options. A great location to visit Iron Mountain Hot Springs or Glenwood Springs Pools.

The only reason we booked here is because Best Western's staff sold us their Rewards membership under the guise that we would earn points toward free stays & would be sent a $20 gift card for each stay during our trip. Neither of those ever happened. What DID happen was: -a hard bed with no blankets, only flat sheet & fitted sheet. when we asked for blankets, they handed more sheets! -a refrigerator that doesn't cool despite the settings being turned to cold -watery, soggy breakfast -mildew growing over the entire bottom of the shower curtain -the wooden shutters (instead of blinds or curtains) were broken, so you could see into our room -neither the pool or the hot tub were accessible (even though the staff confirmed that it was over the phone the day of our stay) -the room's carpet was sticky, so we had to walk around the room with shoes on the entire time. -their front desk clerk not only failed to apply our rewards, but also failed to email my receipt (had to call 3 more times for this) -no rewards points applied -no $20 gift cards received -their customer service line loves to say "there's nothing we can do" about any of it. to top everything off, there is no way to cancel or deactivate your membership - I literally had to go in & zero every entry out & put in a dummy email to keep them from emailing me (even with the unsubscribe settings!!!!) If we had not experienced COUNTLESS issues prior to this stay, we probably would have continued to give best western chances, but after this nonsense, I had my HR head pull Best Western from my company's list of businesses we partner with. I will not be supporting this business through any of my 278 employees who travel for work just like me going forward.

I paid $100 for a hotel before, but this one is a very nice hotel for the price. The room was very clean, had good amenities, and was well designed. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious and had good options, it had a pool (although I didn't use it) and the vibe of the place was peaceful. Money well spent.

The air conditioner in the room was disgusting, it had not been cleaned or dusted. Ran a cloth over it and it ended up filthy. I don't think the filter had been changed in years. I turned on the unit and it blew out nothing but dust. I have asthma and it caused me to have difficulty breathing. I also noticed that there was a lot of dust behind the TV stand and on all the cables.

I'm not sure how Best Western does it, but after recently switching to them as my go-to hotel choice, our stays always feel personable without that corporate feel. This location is gorgeous- beautiful views of the mountains, nice outside seating areas with the pool. If you're passing through, there is a playground for the little ones. It is a short and pretty walk to downtown Glenwood Springs over the new pedestrian bridge that crosses the river, where there's lots of restaurant options and things to do at night without having to worry about driving. I think it was less than a 1/2 mile to both downtown and a 1/2 mile walk to Iron Mountain hot springs the other way, with the gondola to Glenwood Caverns being nearly across the street. The rooms were updated and comfortable (and had coffee makers), with breakfast in the morning hot with lots of options- and for half the cost of some of the other hotels in the area that were lacking the same ammenities.

Our room had so many cobwebs and the WiFi did not work so I had to use my hotspot on my phone which wasted all my data. Not a big variety for breakfast, same thing both mornings. It is a beautiful location, just a few things need to be fixed.

The room was great for the price of others in the area. Very conveniently located next to several hot springs locations. The only thing that kept me from giving this place 5 stars was the fact that the fireplace in our room was broken.

I always try to stay at this facility when I am in Glenwood Springs. It is clean, the staff is great, and the location can't be beat. They offer a continental breakfast, free internet, and offer a pool and hot tub. Very clean and well decorated rooms, too.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at dog friendly with a $20 fee was very clean and nice. The person at the front desk was wonderful and she went above and beyond and got us a joining rooms great hotel and wonderful staff.

Large multi-building complex. The lobby is decorated nicely with wilderness lodge motif. Room was average but clean and fine. Breakfast was typical for a BW, and I did see staff cleaning tables as guests were leaving and new staff were coming in. Front desk staff were pleasant but seemed a little frazzled dealing with multiple customers in front of them and phone at same time, not sure if we just hit a busy time or if they're understaffed as many places are currently. Convenient location in Glenwood Springs, just a few minutes to Iron Mountain Hot Springs or downtown for restaurants.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Best Western Antlers while in Glenwood Springs. We love the lodge atmosphere, the guestrooms, pool and hot tub, and fire pit areas. Overall the guestrooms are clean and well attended.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby and dining room, while not the most comfortable for sitting and relaxing, are visually appealing. The rooms also are visually appealing with wooden beams and ceiling, however they are rather dark. The breakfast options are good. I particularly enjoyed the green chili and the waffles.

Clean and ok. Convenient location. Helpful staff and decent breakfast. Not my first choice of hotels in Glenwood Springs, but likely won't be my last stay either. Nice pool and helpful manager. Will likely return.

Room had bugs on the air conditioning unit and in the lights in shower room. They will not clean your room, make the bed, not pick up towels. If you want breakfast plan on waiting almost 30 minutes for the potatoes and eggs. Please don't use coffee cups for juice when this is the only cup available, you will be yelled at. Greeting staff was amazing upon arrival.

I 70 was closed due to mudslides less than 24 hours before my reservation. Most other best western properties give you until 4 PM that day to cancel. Driving an additional ten hours to get to Genwood Springs is not reasonable. Elite membership meant NOTHING. We lost out $153.

Tried to cancel the reservation and was told I could not. Not one word was said about not being able got cancel the room. The person I talked to (Alicia was her name) told us go take a detour which CDOT said absolutely not. It was a dirt road over a pass. The reason that the interstate was closed was due to rain and possible mud slides in the area. Took a long detour and and did not arrive at the hotel until midnight. Realty bad mattress on the bed. Would never stay here again. The hotel staff had compassion when we checked in but were told over and over the cancellation policy was in effect even though we were never told about it.

Would definitely stay there again. Very Clean and updated décor. Outdoor area was great with available firepits. Nice pool area. The kids loved the availability and usage of bicycles. Close to town and activities and restaurants.

I think this place is fine if you keep your expectations low. I will admit I'm a hotel snob so this was a difficult place for me to stay. The rooms are old, musty smelling, dirty (the shower curtain had mold on it) and just overall yuck. I kept my flip flops on the entire time. Was worried about bed bugs (none found/seen though). Even my kids jokingly said “I feel like this is Schitts Creek”. There's not a lot of options in Glenwood Springs so I already knew we couldn't compare it to the Westin in Avon. Surprisingly the breakfast was good. Shockingly a lot better than I thought it was going to be from what the room looked like. We were only there for 2 nights & it served it's purpose. It's conveniently located bc we could easily walk to everything.

I think this location was understaffed for the summer crowds that arrive. Not sure the sheets on our bed were clean, it might have just been remade. They were very wrinkly. Though it is non smoking, people were smoking outside their room, just under our room. When we called asking for help because of a closed road, I felt like I was bothering them. Again, they were probably busy, and under staffed, but we were in a panic. We ended up having to take a 3 hour detour, it took us 6 hours from Denver to get to Glenwood Springs! Room was dark and very unappealing. Several small bugs on floor in bathroom. Not one of the greatest best westerns we have been to and we are reward members, so we use best western often. I would not stay here again.

This motel has been thoroughly updated! I was in vacation with my 3 teens, there was so much to do there, pool, volleyball and great breakfast, everything a teen desires. Will definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our recent stay at the Best Western Antlers in Glenwood Springs. I would highly recommend it. The location is great. The accommodations are great. The staff are super friendly and provide great customer service.

We recently stayed here while in town for a baseball tournament. The whole team stayed here (probably 35-40 of us in total), and it really is a great locations for kids and groups. The property is big and we enjoyed eating pizza and having drinks at the fire pit and letting the boys play wiffle ball and frisbee in the green spaces. I was happy that it was motel style and I didn't have to worry about the boys running through hotel halls! The pool isn't huge, but the boys had a blast there as well (and there were a nice amount of tables for adults to sit). We had a queen suite room and we were pleased with the size and configuration of the room. Hopefully room cleaning services come back post covid - you have to remember to request fresh towels if you need them by 10am.

I had a reservation for June 29th and 30th we were traveling from Oklahoma (we live in Texas) from softball tournament and wanted to spend 2 days there before our next tournament in Boulder , 20 minutes before arriving to Glenwood road was closed due to mudslide, we were told to exit road with out any explanation and add that is a dead zone not even locals had service . Once we found out road would be close for more than day i called the hotel and they were rude and did not try to help at all i dove one hour one a unpaved mountain one lane only trying to make it but was getting dark and felt unsafe , i tried another route (4 extra hours) until started raining hard and was to late to continue with my teen daughter especially because we had to go back to Boulder for her tournament , we spent the night in another town Steambat, next day road still closed i called the hotel tried to workout to be charged only one day 229.00 but again rude answer , The holiday in were i stayed even gave some discount because felt bad about my situation. Heads up i learned that because of the fire a couple years ago is very possible that mudslide continue to happen for several years , DO NOT make a reservation in this hotel they wont work with you .

loved the flower boxes and decoration of the room, very charming. The room was cozy, but way to dark for reading or working. I loved the wood ceiling with beams and the mountain lodge feeling but the bedding was bad and so were the pillows.

Nice, great appearance, but extremely over priced! 300.00/night! Nice amenities and convenient location. We had to over come shutdowns of I-70 and survive landslides just so we could spent our anniversary there. Also, I have never heard of any hotel refusing occupancy if we did not book for a minimum of 3 nights so we could stay over a Saturday. We modified our Anniversary trip because of this policy. We wanted to stay Friday and Saturday night but had to be back on Sunday. So, we switched our stay to Thursday night and Friday night!

Alesia was the best. She made the experience awesome. She was quick with our check in and she was so nice. She would be the reason I would go back and stay at this hotel. Also the view and the town came in second during our stay

We stayed for 2 nights to meet family. The location is beautiful and close to restaurants and the Glenwood pool. We loved that the rooms were renovated. We also loved the little campfires you could sit around at night!

First let me say that I have no problem with the fact this is an older place that's been renovated. My problem lies with the random crumbs, stained bedding and towels, fraying sheets, moldy shower, and gobs of goo on the wall. I didn't notice any dirt at the pool but the water was cloudy and not one whiff of chlorine making me think the pool doesn't get properly maintained. It was the end of a very long day or I would have requested another room. Glad to see this place in the rear view mirror and will think carefully about staying at another Best Western in the future.

We've stayed at this hotel before, several years ago and really liked it. This trip, meh, seems to have gone downhill. We stayed several nights in the big double room with 4 queen beds. The good: That particular room is very spacious and fairly quiet. Beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The coffee at breakfast was good. The not so good: There's one person working afternoons and evenings and she was overloaded trying to answer the phone, check people in, get towels and TP for people, answer questions, etc. It's a big hotel and they really need another person if they want to provide any level of service at all. The entrance way into our room looked like it hadn't been swept or cleaned out in years. There was a lot of stuff spilled on the sidewalk and garbage and leaves collected in the hallway. The breakfast buffet is ok, but could easily be better. Instead of packaged muffins, have fresh bagels and pastries. Our room looked like it needed some freshening up, like new carpet, new toilet (the water wouldn't stop running whenever it was flushed until we jiggled the handle over and over) and could've used another desk in the second room. The towels were quite thin and were often stained. My biggest complaint has to do with housekeeping. Our room was made up when we arrived, but I don't believe it had been vacuumed, and there was 1 roll of TP for a room that can sleep 9 or 10. They gave us a lengthy letter at check in about their covid safety protocols. Seems a bit silly when no one working there wore a mask, and the breakfast buffet was packed with maskless guests and employees everyday. Buried in that letter was a comment that there's no daily housekeeping. Would've been nice if they had told us that at check in considering how many nights we stayed. You can request housekeeping, but only fresh towels, tp and garbage emptied. They won't change sheets or vacuum no matter what, and no matter how long you stay. So it's ok for the employees to be maskless in the lobby, face to face with a bunch of maskless strangers, but they can't put on a mask and enter an empty room to vacuum? Seems like either they are shorthanded, or they realized they don't HAVE to offer housekeeping and now it's a cost saving for them. When we realized there was no housekeeping, I requested it for the next day (you have to schedule it a day ahead). Next day - no housekeeping. No one came and emptied our garbage or gave us towels and toilet paper. I had to keep going to the front office to ask for it, and she had none. So no housekeeping even if you request it, and if you go to the office to get towels and TP, they don't have any. If management is going to put it on the evening check in person to hand out towels and tp, then they should have towels and tp available for her to hand out. She had to go hunting around to find some for us, then still couldn't find hand towels. This is the same lady that was also checking people in, and answering the phone. No way can she do everything, especially if management and housekeeping dump it all on her. I felt like she did her best but gets little to no support. I'm not sure I'd stay there again. I think I'd read the latest reviews and see if it has improved any. It's a pretty good location, walkable to the gondola, hot springs pool and downtown, so it has that, but if they don't turn things around I would guess it's going to just get worse.

When my purse went missing from the room, we tried to contact management for assistance. We were told that if housekeeping said it wasn't in the room when they checked, it simply wasn't there. Room was missing tissues. Poor lighting, so it was dark in the room.

For $200 total for 1 night stay, we should at least get working sinks and shower - nope! We can't even rinse out our toothbrush without the sink clogging. Both sinks would not drain, then the shower would not drain. We are family of 3, one of us showered once the evening of arrival, standing in the rising murky and soapy water. The next morning the water was still there staring at us in the face. Nobody else would step in that water to shower that night or before departure. The white towels were stained with something black. The coffee maker was stained and dirty looking - so gross. And the WiFi didn't work either. We booked their place because we read that they recently renovated their place and other people gave good reviews. Should have gone with Quality Inn for cheaper rate and probably cleaner and working bathroom. What a disappointment!

I stay at many BW and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. We were greeted with a huge bag of open trash in front of our room. Had to move the leaky bag of dirty diapers and rotten food off to the side to enter room, leaving a puddle of trash liquid to walk over each time entering/exiting room. When brought to the attention of staff the response was, " I am sick of doing other peoples jobs, I am the only one here, I will try to get to it". We went to dinner to arrive to the bag still leaking outside our room. Went to ask for it to be removed in person and the girl at the desk was clearly overwhelmed and made more excuses for why it was still there, promising to remove it. After 2 more hours of the trash sitting in front of our room (smelling and being nasty) I called to cut our stay short. If they cannot take care of a simple request as this then I do not trust the rest of their cleaning of rooms etc. Staff and housecleaning are not well staffed and any issue can not be addressed by staff, they just freak out and make you feel bad for complaining. Luckily was able to get our 2nd night cut off or stay to go home early. Weekend trip was ruined by booking here.

We spent 3 nights at the Best Western Antlers in Glenwood Springs. It was very comfortable, clean, included a hot breakfast, a spa, free bikes to ride. We would enjoy returning to this motel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Do not stay here!!! We wanted a nice hotel in Glenwood Springs for our anniversary and booked four nights. We have been here one night so far. We were told that the rooms would not be cleaned but that towels would be refreshed and trash emptied. We put out the sign to make up the room when we left at 10am. We returned at 9pm and nothing had been done. This hotel is nothing like it has been in the past. The carpet is totally trashed and coming up at the bathroom and has sharp edges where it is loose. Our trash cans were not emptied and the bed was not made. I had to go to the front desk to get towels and to have the trash emptied. I have stayed in budget motels that were much nicer. Do not stay here!!! There are much nicer motels in town.

We stayed one night one the way home and we enjoyed the stay very much. The room is very updated, nice and clean. Location of the hotel is great. You can walk to Glenwood Springs downtown easily, only 10 minutes walk to many restaurants and shops.

The room was basic and clean. It was more basic than I remembered BW hotels- more like a super 8. The pool and very large hot tub were great, and open fairly late. Here's the huge problem- the woman at the front desk in the morning, I think Sandy. The next morning I showed up for breakfast and prior to walking in I realized I forgot my mask. I stood in the doorway and asked if either she could hand me the bag or give me a mask. The answer was a quick no to both. I confirmed that a large Best Western hotel had not one single mask for guests during the pandemic. That seems odd for any hotel. What about if I was checking in? I returned with my mask and got some food. An hour later I checked out with mask on. The bill didn't reflect the AAA rate or the BW member rate, but a rate about $15 more. I started to explain this and she quickly stated "that's what you're paying!" She wouldn't even listen to me but just repeated "that's what you're paying!" I wish I could convey how nasty she was. Mean! Maybe she's the owner. If so, shame on BW. That's it! I cancelled my BW membership! She single handedly lost me as a customer of the chain. There are too many other options to ever be treated this way. This was an in-state get away during covid and all other properties were grateful, not nasty. The upcharge was immediately refunded by my credit card company.

Hotel was nice and rooms were clean on arrival. We stayed four nights and requested several times on multiple days to have our trash taken out and towels replaced. We were told that our room would be serviced and we would receive fresh towels, soap, toilet paper and that our trash would be removed. We finally received towels the night before we left, but our trash continued to pile up and the dirty towels were left. We never received toilet paper or soap. I finally had to go find a housekeeper and get a roll from them. There seems to be a disconnect between the front desk and the staff; we had even placed the tag on the door stating we needed housekeeping.

We loved our stay here, we were only in town for one night but wish we were able to stay longer. A very friendly & helpful employee checked us in & we loved our room with a view of the mountain! We were only a minute or two away from iron mountain hot springs which was perfect for our itenerary! Very nicely decorated & clean spacious room! Highly recommend!

VERY comfortable beds. Clean. Pleasant check-in. Fast wifi. Has been partially remodeled (great bathroom!) but the heating/a/c is still the old style dial, making it near-impossible to find the right temperature. We finally did though and slept like babies!

We stayed here with our adult children for the weekend and have done so for many, many years! This time, on the 1st morning, I noticed we had no bath towels in the room so my husband went to the front desk and was questioned by Sandy as to what we did with the towels!! "Did we take them to the pool? Did someone else remove them from the room?" He said we didn't remove them, that we had only face cloths and hand towels. There was another lady around the corner and she handed him old towels that they give to go to the pool, not the regular room towels. Sandy needs to brush up on her people skills if she is going to work the front desk of a motel!! The next morning, we went in for breakfast which is usually very good, hot and cold items, waffle maker, etc. I know with Covid, things are different, but when restaurants are opening and spacing out their tables, you'd think that a motel could do the same, but they offered only scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and some muffins which they served to you, a very small portion at that....and then you had to take it back to your room to eat! There are no tables in your room!!! Not everything that is different/wrong can continue to be blamed on Covid. All in all, I would say that it will be a long time before we patronize the Best Western Antlers again.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Very close to the attractions like Glenwood Springs Adventure Park and the Hot Springs. Restaurants are also very close. The room is very clean. Only thing is that towels are really thin and looked old already. A couple of face towels were already in grayish color that we had to asked for new towels. We noticed that the queen size beds were smaller than their size. We thought those were full size beds. Breakfast was good and filling. We just think that it should be changed every other day or something as it gets tiring getting the same one everyday. The lady with a long hair that checked us in had some attitude. When we asked to have a different room as the teens downstairs were roudy, she gave my husband this look and attitude. We thought that was rude as my husband was talking but she pretended that she wasn't hearing anything, so he just stopped talking. That older lady that checked us out was very nice and helpful though. We will probably stay again.

This was a great stay. The location of the Best Western was wonderful and it was nice and clean. The staff were wonderful. They were helpful, courteous and friendly and made the stay enjoyable. If I owned a hotel I would hire them! :) Really nice stay here. I

We will definitely be staying at the Best Western in Glenwood Springs again if we ever find ourselves there. It was very close to I-70, the Hot Springs and great restaurants. We were supposed to be staying in Eagle for the night, but due to the closure of I-70, we found ourselves in Glenwood. The room was big, clean, had exterior entrances (which we love) and the employees were all super helpful and efficient.

We came for a weekend getaway and got the 2queen suite. It had a second bedroom attached to the main room via the bathroom which worked well and blocked some of the noise from our 2yr old. The room was pretty clean and the grounds were nice. There is a great big open space to take your dog potty complete with a poop bag dispenser which actually had bags. I know that's weird to say but 90% of the time those things are empty so I thought it was worth noting. There is also a lovely little playground on the property right beside the lobby building, and some picnic tables on the other side of the property on a raised plateau. We did not use the pool as it is off season and we intended to go to the hot springs pool. Staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast was pretty good considering COVID crap going on right now. They give you a bag with a blueberry muffin, nature valley bar, egg and sausage sandwich, apple , and a yogurt(with spoon).

The room was extremely clean and updated. The staff went above and beyond to help my family! We had to leave early and the front desk helped us pack our to go breakfast bags and helped us microwave our jimmy dean croissant sandwiches.

We booked 2 nights in the "suite" that was not a suite just a room with an extra bed. The price was outrageous for the room quality. I let them know ahead of time it was my daughter's bday, a total of 5 guests(husband, son, grandma and bday girl) yet we got a nasty call from front desk about the noise our kids were making. They were playing Mario on a Nintendo Switch, not sure who that pissed off but I'm sorry their childhood sucked. There were dogs barking ALL night which is okay as long as you muzzle your children. If we hadn't over packed we would have 100% tried to switch hotels after the first night. Our family members never even came to our hotel based off our treatment and booked across the street for less than half the price and got a hot breakfast. Overall very sure I will not come back.

Great location, comfortable beds, very large and updated rooms. Great for travel with family and our dog. Very clean and easy to walk to everything. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a get away to Glenwood Springs.

Choose this hotel for it's exterior hallways and room layout with a private bedroom attached to the hotel room to give our kid his own space. Worked out perfectly! Walked to all the restaurants downtown both nights, walked to the Gondola for the Adventure Park too, great location! The hot tub was great and the playground was really nice too! We will be back!

Do not stay here. The staff is extremely rude, unhelpful and do not care about their guests. Stay at one of the many other better options in the Glenwood springs area. I was overcharged for my stay and when complained to the front desk was treated with hostility. The people here are the worst I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry in my life.

We received no refund or reschedule for the extreme weather. Would not recommend if you are traveling in the winter early spring if there is a chance for extreme weather. Called and person was rude. Not sure if I would book again

Beautiful property with playground, lots of room to walk your dog, outdoor seating areas - some with gas firepits and an outdoor pool area. Room was charming and very clean. Grab and go breakfast due to Covid - but one of the best grab and go I've seen. Close to everything you might want to do while in town.

I enjoyed the cheery and upbeat welcome from Sandy. The rooms have been renovated. And were mainly clean. Apart from a strand of long black hair I found on the bed. Not much natural light in the room if you did not want to compromise on privacy. If you opened the shutters to let in light everyone walking down the outdoor passage can look in. Ditto air flow. Not very good. I kept the bathroom window cracked open. No Netflix. Since I was traveling alone I had hoped to read a book in the reception by the fireplace in the evening. The couches in the reception area looked comfy and I was not keen to sit in my dark room alone. Since it was winter sitting outside was not an option at night. I was firmly told this was not a possibility 'because of Covid'. Not even allowed to sit on one of the couches alone. So I went to hang out at the Hotel Colorado instead - enjoyed dinner and sitting by their fireplace. Another 'you are not welcome' was when I asked whether I could have the room a bit past the 11 a.m. check out time. My train was leaving at 12.10 and I had a reservation at Iron Mountain hot springs from 9 a.m. to 11.30 am. I did not want to take all my stuff with me to the hot springs (note 'due to Covid' Iron Mountain Springs has no lockers) Again total inflexibility. Reason? 'Due to Covid'. The motel was barely 10% booked! 95% of all hotels I have stayed in have gracefully extended my check-out time. Best Western? No siree! Breakfast was in brown bags. The orange must have been harvested the year before; it was so dried out. The ham cheese croissant was your typical Sysco fare with MSG and HFCS. I was offered a yoghurt and asked for a plain one. Nope. Only flavored ones available. Oh well. Glenwood Springs is bursting with empty motel and hotel rooms. Stay elsewhere if you want to feel welcome.

I wanted a late check out. I used priceline 3 star where they pick a 3 star at a certain price. I called priceline and best Western to verify late check out. They said yes just like any hotel you either tell them at check in or the next morning. I verified with 2 personal. One over the phone and when at check in. They said yes just call in the am. Here we are the next day and I called to do a late check out and they said absolutely not because of covid. Well if I knew this a head of time I would have stayed where I normally stay where they do offer late check out. This has been the biggest inconvenience and worse morning. After I explained everything a lady told me she's been there for 5 year and she knows everything. But definitely couldn't tell me why a manager wasn't available. I don't recommend this stay. Not only will they lie hey will hang up on you for trying explaining who said yes. Very unprofessional. Customers are always right.

Lack of clarification Upon checking the front desk will give you a bond paper with so many fine details which are expected to read after a long tiring journey it would be better if they said or explained the bullet points for example breakfast is at certain times and you have to order your room makeover before 10 AM. In my case I just paid attention to the breakfast because I thought that I could order the room made over before 12 noonHowever I did notify the front desk after 10 am therefore my room was not made up and I had to personally take out the garbage myself. The garbage cans were empty outside were full so I had to go into the hotel lobby to empty the garbage collected in my room

This hotel was the best place to stay in Glenwood! Perfect location right off the highway, walking distance to all restaurants and hot springs. The staff was beyond helpful and recommended lots of restaurants for us to try for our first time visiting.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Glenwood. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. Good location with several attractions in walking distance. Our only complaint was how extremely uncomfortable the beds were. The mattresses were rock hard.

A nice property but getting a little old. The price is right. The location is close to a nice area just across the Colorado River and I-70 which can be reached by pedestrian bridge. I have been there before and the service is always great. I talked with the night attendant and regarding one of the reviews that I just read, he goes around at night and unfortunately rousts the vagrants from the property. This is true also of the restaurant area across the river. Seem to always see panhandlers. Part of the philosophy of the town and area, I surmise. Permissive. I will stay there again.

Staying at this Best Western in Glenwood Springs is always our 1st choice. The rooms are very well appointed and always clean. We are grateful that this "destination" property accepts pets for $20 per night. There are also many amenities to enjoy on the property during the warmer days, bikes, pool, large hot tub, pickle ball (like tennis I think & horseshoes. Can't forget about the 3 fire pits and comfy chairs on the property too. This is our favorite location to stay at.

We booked a one night stay here as we were only visiting this area for the hot springs. Based on the reviews I figured it would be an OK place to stay for just one night. Boy was I wrong. The property looked fine when pulling in, but as we approached a parking spot by the check in office, we watched for numerous minutes a homeless man walking from window to window trying to look in. After watching him try to look into MULTIPLE rooms we decided we didn't feel safe staying there that night. While exiting the parking lot we called the hotel to make them aware of the situation and asked if we could cancel or even refund our room for the night as we didn't feel comfortable. The gal working was beyond rude to me, called me names and shouted at me for over 5 minutes. After awhile my boyfriend took over the conversation, and she treated him the exact same way. We eventually ended the call went across the street to the La Qunita and shared with them the recording of the conversation that we just had. They mentioned they have had NUMEROUS guests cancel the reservations at this hotel and go stay there and even gave us a discounted rate for how awful she treated us. We have tried to get in contact with Best Western and the hotel management with no success. My best advice would be to stay away from this hotel.

Our family started our eastward journey back from the western US and we picked the Best Western Antlers, based on reviews from Orbitz and Tripadvisor, and because recently we joined the Best Western rewards program and wanted to find earn reward points.  Between Utah and Denver, we found the location to be a good rest stop for some remote e-Learning for kiddos.  Post-trip, in talking to some Denver friends, Glenwood Springs is a good stop before Aspen as well.  I can agree a combo of the hot springs and skiing is very tempting. The good, the clean rooms, COVID pre-cautions, friendly service, and pool/whirlpool combo that was very pleasant.  Thank you Alicia for all the local knowledge and best restaurants to go do. The bad, I would say is the internet, which from the Moose building got me 1 MBs when I could connect.  Effectively, e-Learning was non-existent.  So instead, the family strolled to Sacred Grounds downtown for breakfast and better internet speeds.  The nail in the coffin was when our family had to do e-Learning from the lobby building.  Thank you for letting only my family use the closed dining area for myself and kiddos.  But when the youngest was signing off, the teacher told all the kids online to give a big, loud, 'goodbye' to everyone.  Unfortunately, that meant a big shout too from the office manager came in and scolded my youngest.  As a parent, I swooped into consul my child that it was an honest mistake and that we'll probably never stay here again. I would recommend this location for couples, families, and solo folks in need of a clean, comfy, no-need for internet, and no-frill experience. Tips: Bring your own towels to the pool, as the pool towels are more like hand-towels.

I have stayed at the Best Western Antlers several times over many years. I love the location, the beautiful property, the big hot tub and pool and used to love the breakfast. Covid has changed things but I was content with the grab and go and COFFEE still available all day. My two adult daughters and I stayed here Sept 11-13. I upgraded for $20 more per night to have 3 separate sleep beds. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was so terrible that non of us could even lay on it! Our other complaint is that the room was still "dark" even with all the lights on. On this visit, I found the desk personal very friendly.

We drove many hours and noticed where the fires were a week before. Happy we were there after roads were open. We had a quiet top room. Comfy bed. Clean. Not happy with bag breakfast so it goes now days.

This place has the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with! I have been trying to cancel my reservation and get a refund from them/postpone my booking, since last week and, they are not ready to negotiate at all. The wildfires have made it unsafe and difficult to visit the place and the manager, Ashley, said "We only have some smoke and IF winds are nice, it clears up." This is complete disregard of people's safety and they need to understand that they will be in huge trouble because of such an attitude. They want us to go and stay at the hotel by jeopardizing our health because apparently, it is absolutely fine to breathe "some smoke" and we can still roam around and it is okay to travel 4-5 hours more using the alternative route as their booking and money is the most important factor for them!! Horrible mentality!!

In the middle of a national emergency with a forest fire and freeway closures, yet the hotel will not refund the money. Foolish and irresponsible. Unbelievable despite calls and the Governor telling people not to travel in the area. Thought there was reason involved, but not here.

As many other reviewers have already mentioned with the Glenwood fire shutting down the interstate. It made our 3-hour drive a 12-hour one. Arriving around midnight to then have to checkout the next morning at 11. All other activities in Glenwood that we had planned were already cancelled due to the fire but there was no understanding or compassion from staff. We first talked to Ashley, the front desk manager that morning, who informed us that because we could "still get there" there would be no refund. Later in the day after still attempting to make it there (6+ hours of driving) we hit three closed routes, and then were informed by Park rangers of the 6+ hour detour we would have to take to get there. At that point we called again, and had the displeasure of speaking with Brandon up at the front desk. He was very condescending and with a lack of tact told us that we could "still make it there so sorry". Based on the reviews I have read, we probably won't be hearing back from Scott which, while disheartening, is a validation to the points I have layed out here. The least I can do is warn others of this dismal and disappointing experience. Avoid this hotel. They will not help you.

Because of the wildfires that broke out, our 3 hour drive turned into a 12 hour drive to get to this hotel. Which would put us at the hotel for less than 12 hours by the time we checked out. They refused to refund our money because we “could still get there.” The manage Ashley was extremely rude. We had a call into the GM and never heard back. We only had one night booked at this hotel, I would have thought they would be understanding considering this wasn't under our control. It was ONE NIGHT, we were asking for a refund on. But nope. This is an extremely selfish, money hungry establishment. And from all the reviews I've read on this Facebook page, it seems as though this is a very consistent problem. Grizzly Creek fire in Glenwood Canyon. I-70 closed from Gypsum to Glenwood Springs.After a 5 hour "detour" on 8/11 we found Glenwood Springs engulfed in smoke. we cancelled our reservation for 8/11-8/13. We were still charged for one night's stay because "there is still a way to get here". Management was rude and should not be in customer service. That means you Ashley and Scott Dyer. We have annually taken a trip to Glenwood Springs for 30yrs and staying mostly at the Antler's. We will never stay at the Antlers again and encourage anyone who will listen not to stay there either.

Sorry all of you are having such problems with your reservations due to the fire. I called directly. They were gracious and are working w/ us. They are being very flexible until we know what is going on w/ Amtrak and the highway.

Left messages for several days for the manager Scott Dyer with no response. The hotel agreed to cancel the reservation when all interstate roads were closed, and the nearby fire was 0% contained. Ashley rescinded this and told me to drive 7 hours around the fire on mountain passes and arrive at 1 am, then wonder if the hotel would be evacuated later that night - really? If you stay here hope you don't need any staff to assist your stay or care about your trip. Otherwise find an alternate hotel.

We were planning a trip to Glenwood Springs as well from Denver for a few days away. A wildfire erupted and closed I-70, the main highway to GWS. Then on 8/12, the alternate route was shut down. When we called to cancel the response was "There are other ways to get here so we are not cancelling your reservation." Mind you the otherwise 3 hour trip would have taken 7 to 8 hours using the "other way." Terrible management practices.

Sometimes, I really wish the Internet would allow no stars to some places like this one. Since there is no way for that, I am going to give them a star and let me tell you why. We were supposed to travel there 8/11 through 8/13, but the night before our departure the Glenwood Canyon caught on fire and a vast area was burning 4 miles away with the Interstate closed because it was literally burning and the fire was not contained. There were evacuation orders for No Name area, the people were evacuated from their hikes and rafting too, the smoke was all over the place. I called the hotel the night before when I found out and I spoke with Ashley, the front desk manager and she said if the Interstate will still be closed, they will offer us some options. I called the next day, the Interstate was still closed and initially I spoke to Sandy she was rude and condescending (one other person mentioned the same in their reviews) saying the hotel is still opened and they have some guests over and that there are alternate routes - there are yes, but it would have taken us 7 hours to get there). I said the Interstate is burning and it is closed, the smoke is all over and someone in my family has asthma and I really do not feel comfortable coming and risking to be stranded there. She said the policy is that no refund, the management already decided. I called later in the day and spoke to Ashley again who a night before was offering us options, now, she said that there is no refund, we have to come, there are alternate routes, it did not matter the canyon is burning cause everything is opened in Glenwood and there are no safety concerns. Oh, and that they will charge my Credit Card, which mind her, 5 minutes later was charged! I said I do not feel comfortably doing it, especially that we have health conditions, especially that people could get evacuated, it did not matter! Thus, folks, I am warning you to stay away from this place, because all that matters to them is to get your money, not interested in your well being or safety whatsoever! As one of the reviewers was mentioning, Best Western will not be our first choice anymore, not even a choice if this is how much they care!

Our stay was very nice. Rooms were clean. Cost was reasonable, however due to COVID the continental (to-go) breakfast was very limited. The hotel was older but rooms were updated. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff were friendly and as accommodating as they could be but we were left to fend for ourselves. Trash overflowed, room cleaning non existent. The beds were a toss and turn nightmare. Bring a mattress topper if you want to be rested. C-19 stresses are probably to blame but it was just disappointing to have to keep up your own room when on a vacation.

Through no fault of our own (COVID-19), we have had to reschedule our plans three times. The hotel refused this last time and refused to refund our money which we had paid for in February. We were suppose to arrive on 7/24 and check out 7/26 but I had called the day before to reschedule. The person I spoke to was Sandy and she was very rude and condescending. I called back the following day to speak with Amy, the manager and she was just as rude. Saying that "This is the 3rd time you have rescheduled (yeah, I know) and we will not allow any further rescheduling". I had told her that I work in a doctor's office with a possible COVID exposure and she said "That doesn't change the fact that this is the 3rd time you have rescheduled". Then we received an automated "How was your stay?" e-mail and a statement with our room number!! Best Western has always been our favorite place to stay but with this type of an attitude, once travel has become safe again, we may start staying at another chain.

While the property itself is in a great location with nice grounds, the staff, management and ridiculous rules outweigh any benefits. The front desk has horrible customer service and only do what suits them best. The night auditor is useless and can't even explain how to turn on the TV. The ladies are condescending and inflexible.They are way over-priced and not worth it. The rooms are updated but with such cheap products, you can still smell the glue used 6 months later. I have left 3 messages for manager to contact me and still haven't heard back in over a week. .

The bad: Although we called ahead to schedule service, the cleaning service failed to show up each day of our stay and we were without toilet paper, clean towels, soap, etc. The hair dryer didn't work and the refrigerator was missing a piece. The “Carry out” breakfast was insulting—my kids didn't eat anything but the apple. It was like a cheap gas station breakfast— stale granola bar and ancient, cheapo cinnamon bun. Also you are told not to bring towels to the pool but there are no towels at the pool for guests. The good: great location, staff at front desk was apologetic and earnest—they are clearly understaffed. Also, nice room, pool and beautiful grounds. However, I worry about their ability to clean everything effectively given the lack of staffing...

We stayed at the Best Western Antlers last week. The property is motel-style with decorative upgrades. Our main problem was that we were charged for two nights when we only stayed one. We called in advance within the listed cancellation window, but all requests to fix the double-charge have been ignored. We tried changing our reservation from two nights to one online, but the Best Western website would not work, so we called the hotel. They asked for our last name and assured me our reservation was successfully changed to a one night stay and we received the refund of the second night, only to be recharged for the night we did not stay two days after we left. When I called to fix the error, the receptionist passed me along to her manager, stating that I had made two reservations and was considered a "no show" for the second night. After three detailed voicemails,, and five days of waiting, I still have not received a call back from the manager or a refund for the night I did not stay. I am shocked that I was ignored in this way. This was not the first time I felt ignored by the staff. I waited ten minutes without being acknowledged when I arrived for check-in while the receptionist was on the phone. She didn't even say, "Excuse me. I'll be with you soon." Nothing- and it was literally 10 full minutes of just standing there. She finally got off the phone and started my check-in, and then stopped it when another guest came in to start doing her check-in at the same time as mine. I asked if the change from my call was all set and was assured it was. Our room was not ready even though we were after check-in time and had done the pre-check. I was taken aback by how ignored and then rushed I was. Later that night, my son went in to ask for a basketball. When he didn't come back after 10 minutes I went in to check and saw that the same receptionist was speaking with another guest. I waited with my son for another 10 minutes, and after not being acknowledged at all after about 20 minutes, I had to interject in their very lengthy conversation to ask for the basketball. Very odd. I have never felt so ignored by a staff in my life. And I have never had to pay double for a single night stay when abiding by the hotel's cancellations policy- ridiculous! There are many hotel options in Glenwood Springs. Choose a place that values your patronage instead of ignoring and double-charging guests.

What a gem. Took a chance and booked 2 hours in advance. Staff at front desk very friendly. Pool, hot tub and a pickle ball court. We got a larger corner room. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Hotel located right against the mountains. Fantastic view of an electrical storm over the mountains.

I was staying at the Hampton-Inn but they drained and shut down their pool so I checked out early and checked into the Best Western Antler in. Glad I did. I am a Hilton loyal customer but I have to say the Best Western Antler Inn is a much better hotel

We decided to extend our stay in Colorado and spent a couple nights in Glenwood Springs. Opted for Best Western because of the proximity to hot spots and pictures/reviews on the vendor site we used. Overall, it was a bit disappointing, but hey, can't complain too much since Glenwood Springs is limited on 4-5 star hotels. A few things we noted: Pros: -Close to downtown, Iron mountain hot springs, Glenwood Cavern Adventure Park, Walmart, and pretty much anywhere in Glenwood Springs! -Swimming pools (jacuzzi, pool, kiddie pool). -Breakfast was “grab-n-go”- great alternative to hot options since COVID restricts this. We didn't take advantage of it, but I'm going to give them a benefit of a doubt and say that it's probably decent. - has a microwave and refrigerator- comes in handy for leftovers! Cons: - Swimming pool was overcrowded with a ton of kids. Some were very loud and disrespectful about anyone else in there- though I mainly blame this one on the parents! However, with COVID, I would've expected more management from the property on capacity. - Room smelled like marijuana most of the time! I get it- it's legal here, but not a great smell to have consistently throughout the stay, especially with kids. It gave me headaches which further degraded my ranking of this place. - Internet was sketchy. My husband and I brought work with us and we both kept losing connection. Not fun when you're in meetings. - Price- we paid over $170 per night which was way too much in my opinion for this place. - Because this place is literally right next to the mountains, it would've been nice to have bigger windows in the room. The blinds didn't allow for much view which was disappointing, again, especially given the location. Overall, I gave them a 2.5 out of 5. We had a great time in Glenwood Springs, but did not enjoy our room as much. Hopefully you find this review helpful.

Due to covid, housekeeping no longer comes to clean, just bring towels, or even empty your trash if you stay multiple days... even if requested!! We were told "the dumpster is around the corner" by front desk staff when we asked for the 3rd or 4th time to have the trash picked up (by this point it was late in the afternoon), after having been told they would take care of it during the day. I would recommend you definitely bring your own towels and cleaning supplies if you've got a reservation coming up in 2020 for Best Western Antlers.

During our June, 2020 tour of CO, this was our best motel. The pool was heated, and most everything was open. We stayed here three nights. It is convenient to Glenwood Canyon Amusement Park. We had a good time there....

This is an older stereotypical motel room; especially for their single and double bed rooms. Rooms are newly decorated (note not renovated). Room entrance faces/is off parking lot. No elevators for luggage. One communal lounge by pool for entire property (3 bldgs); for Ice, Laundry, and Vending. Constant noise; very thin walls.

Best Western Antlers in Glenwood Springs is a very nice place to stay, with beautiful ambience and easy access to downtown. I used their high speed internet to get some business tasks accomplished, and the receptionist was wonderful!!!

Nice older place. Across bridge (walk and auto) from a delightful small town tourist and entertainment center. Lots of small bar and restaurants with many choices and easy to walk to. The facility seems to have some surrounding properties that appeared to be lower end, perhaps renting for longer periods. The place was clan and the staff was very friendly. Older daughter loved the town

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! No coffee maker in room, so went for coffee 8 am; Sandy-desk clerk was inattentive and rude(babysitting small boy @ front desk). There was no decaffeinated coffee. This was during covid-19 quarantine, so no free breakfast; but breakfast bag offered(orange or apple, yogurt, & nutragrain bar). We waited and watched as they prepared 3 bags for us without FACEMASK AND GLOVES!

We arrived during the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic. Most of Glenwood Springs was closed but the hotel staff did their best to provide service and give us ideas for places to visit. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

We reported our dirty linens to the front desk and were told that they didn't have any others to replace them with. They suggested we remove the duvet covers and check to see if the linens underneath were usable. This is unacceptable. Who wants to sleep in a dirty bed?

I've stayed at the Antlers many times in the past when I have come to ski. Great location. This visit there was a barking dog in the room above that was there barking for 2 nights. This reflected poorly on the management who over the 2 days did nothing about it. I was sorry to see this poor hospitality and I am not sure I will stay there again. Very disappointed!

We came for a wedding and loved this location. We brought our 5-month old and his grandma (built in childcare) who stayed in the room next to us. We loved the early breakfast and food options and our son had a great time swimming in the pool. He also enjoyed playing on the playground. We were close enough to walk to town and it was an easy drive to the gondola and hot springs. Nothing fancy but clean and accessible!

Stayed on our way back to Minnesota. The room was good the bathroom was great. It was huge which my wife and I really loved since it made getting up and back on the road much more efficient. Biggest drawback was that in the room there was only enough coffee for one. Most likely an oversight nonetheless paying attention to details is extremely important especially when this was not the cheapest place in town. We are trying to be loyal Rewards members.

I've stayed many times in Glenwood Springs and twice at this location. I love the choice of room sizes you can get at Best Western Antlers. This time, I took my daughter and three of her friends for an overnight. We had a three queen suite which included a small bedroom separated by a door. Although we had to share one bathroom, the configuration was great for the four of them being in one room while I had my own room. This is an older property that has been remodeled many times and is well-decorated for what used to be a "motor inn." It even had a window in the bath that opened up for fresh air. The heating/AC worked well and there is good soundproofing between rooms. We missed breakfast, as it ends early. I took away one star for the complete lack of friendliness at the front desk both at check-in and check-out. Very close to both hot springs options. Lots of free parking and close to all of the downtown restaurants.

First I will say I loved the fire pit. I have read the reviews and I can't believe this hotel keeps the Best Western name. I was overcharged for my motel when they couldn't find my name because the reservation had my name spelled wrong. This also happened to another friend of mine the previous year when she cancelled 18 hours in advance for a family emergency. The manager Ashly was rude to me and I left messages for The GM, Scott to call me back which never happened. Apparently customer service is not important to him. I have always stayed at BW and never had a bad experience but this stay was terrible. I do not believe in the cleaning service to clean my room everyday to save money, and natural resources but needed 1 clean towel for a shower at 8 am and was told by the front desk I could not get a towel until 9am but I would be leaving by then. I even offered to go to where the towels were kept or find out where the cleaning cart was and was told no. I will never return. The town itself is magical.

Very comfortable. Easy going not stuffy. Room clean, beds comfortable. Large property places where you can just sit out and relax. Staff helpful. Stay here with large group or alone. You will be pleased.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and well appointed. Bummer that we didn't get to try the hot tub, just didn't have enough time. Breakfast is fantastic, lots of cold and hot options. Bit tricky getting to the place but that is because Glenwood Springs is split in half by I-70.

They did a great job renovating the place looks a little old from the exterior but certainly has spacious and nice rooms with great decor. Alicia who works there is a hoot and made my family's stay great!

We made reservations 8 weeks ahead of time for my wife's birthday and our anniversary. On travel day it had been snowing for over 18hrs and roads were terrible amd most closed. We called to get our reservation cancelled and they wouldn't unless a certain pass remained closed for an indefinite time. The pass opened but the roads to it were closed and we weren't able to travel, the hotel still charged us and we're working with our bank to dispute the charge. Poorest customer service I've ever experienced.

Untruthful to my face, overcharged, unwilling to provide receipt. Wrong personnel for hospitality industry, worst ever at BW as a loyal diamond member. Otherwise it is a fine place to stay, however it is not like there are a lack of options

We wanted an cozy spot we could relax, play dominos, have a couple drinks and go to the hot springs! We weren't disappointed, and glad we opted for the upgraded rooms with points. This property seems to be remodeling and the suites we got looked sharp on the inside and lots of room to move around. Although some of the family had stayed in the standard rooms last year and had mentioned they were in need of remodeling. This hotel is ideal for crashing a group of skiers headed to one of several of the resorts nearby, or passing thru. As we found out at breakfast which was provided with all the rooms, was very busy and almost everyone else looked dressed for the slopes. As we were just wanting space to play games and head to the hot springs, the room layout was difficult to find space to fit 4 adults around a table and had to borrow 2 additional chairs from our other room. We were concerned about accessibility to and from the rooms as one in our party has difficulty with stairs, there is no elevator on property, and the suites are only located on the second floor. However the steps were very small and clear of ice and taking it slow were not a problem. There was a fridge and microwave in the room we appreciated, but there was no ice machine on our floor and you have to go outside and downstairs to get ice. Vaulted ceilings we're a nice touch, really loved the exposed beams! Beds we're good and 5 out of 6 of us slept well only 1 said he felt he kept rolling to the dip in the center of the bed throughout the night. None of us tried the pullout couch beds. There is a hot tub, and a great room, but it was a little walk and 7 degrees on the Mercury we cranked the heat and stayed in. Overall we had a great time getting together again and laughing hardily. Very convenient to everything and had a great stay!

I got a discounted deal on this hotel for $70 booked in advance online. For that price almost everything is great. However people walk in price was $120 plus tax (mid december), this seem too much. For that price I would be extra picky. Negatives: 1) they dont want to provide more than 2 extra towels (on top of the 2 regular sets). It was below freezing and I didn't have enough towels to cover bathroom/sink area tile. 2) usually BW has 3 hot stuff items (eggs, meat, potatoes), this BW had only 2 (eggs and sausage or ham). Regular milk was always half spoiled. 3) Most weakest shower in my life. Brand new shiny square shower head design looks pretty but horrible pressure. Room 110. Now to good stuff: Clean room, Free parking, Free internet, Microwave, Fridge, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron in the room. Great location, you can walk to restaurants, Enterprise rent a car and Caverns Adventure Park, hot springs, train station. If you have a car....its right off highway, 20 min drive to Sunlight Mountain resort, 20 min to Sopris Alpacas Farm, 50 min to Aspen. I cant stress it enough, there are no UBER, LYFT or taxi in Glenwood Springs, so dont rely on it when u planning a trip (like we did). All front desk people were extremely nice and helpful. Lobby is so beautiful and super cozy with a fireplace. At any time of the day, you can get hot tea, coffee, pop corn and yammy candies. Breakfast from 7am to 9 (or 10). Hot Eggs, sausages, self made waffles. Yogurt machine (so cool), oat meal, 2 types of cereal, 3 types of bread, muffins, apples, oranges, hard boiled eggs. Newly renovated (although tub and window a/c were old). Cant comment on sound proof , we didnt hear anybody as hotel was half empty. P.S. Weird lay out, never stayed at BW where lobby is separated from all buildings. So you have to put a lot of clothes to go to have breakfast in winter. But that's no fault of the hotel. Bottom line, I liked it there and for the right price definitely will be back

Staff needs training on how to treat customers and people in general. I was very disappointed in the treatment of my family group. We were treated with rudeness for no apparent reason.Inspite of this we had a great time in a beautiful place.

We arrived at 6 pm and our room had not been cleaned. We waited in the lobby while housekeeping did an express clean - which is exactly what the room received. We found a room without clean towels and washcloths, a refrigerator with someone else's food, plus other issues. When we complained to the front desk, we were provided with a trash bag to put the previous guest's food in. No apologies!

If I could give it no stars I would. My partner and I drove up from Denver to go snowboarding in Aspen and needed a place close by that was dog-friendly so we could put Cloud in her kennel for a couple of hours. Online their pet policy appeared to be dog-friendly but they called us on our second day of snowboarding and told us we are not allowed to leave our dog unattended even in a kennel. This meant that my partner and I would need to take turns watching her or that we had to stay at the hotel or just walk her as it is winter. We might as had stayed in Denver, when we requested a refund we were told we had to speak to the General Manager who is “in and out” all day—obviously not helpful especially when we tried to call him and he could not be reached. We called hotels.com (where we made the reservation) and they called the front desk which told them the same thing, at this point why is the general manager not onsite if they hold so much power. We checked out early and will not be staying there again. Long story short the WiFi did not work, they did not clean our room once and they are NOT pet-friendly.

We met up with family and really didn't have any expectation of the hotel. We knew it would be clean but boy were we pleasantly surprised! The rooms have been remodeled and have rustic mountain feel. The staff was so nice, treated us like family. We spent a lot of time sitting by the fireplace in the lobby catching up with family. We were able to bring our dog which made the trip even more enjoyable.

Have stayed here before, and we must not have had any neighbors as it was quite, this time our room had children on one side and a group of gentlemen on the other side, they we not talking super loud but it was like they were in the room with us I could make hear every word, so paper-thin walls at the hotel, they were up late and up early so not a restful stay at all. The grounds are great, the rooms updated and clean and the lobby is very nice so this was unfortunate, we will not be returning.

The suite was advertised to sleep six. But it could barely cater to four people. All the mattresses were lumpy and old. The sheets smelled of body odor, meaning they weren't changed. Management wasn't responsive at all. Never called us to respond to our needs. The key cards never worked. We went through 8 or 9. Very unpleasant experience. And typically, every time we visit Glenwood, we always stay at the Antlers. Never again!

We liked staying at best western antlers in glenwood springs colo. The grounds are well taken care of with pool and fire pit. Walking distance to downtown and hot springs pool. Room was clean,beds comfortable. Front desk was very helpful in fixing minor issues. Breakfast on site offered a variety of items. We will stay here sgsin.

This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Glenwood Springs and there's no where else to stay. The pricing is high based upon the amenities that you receive. The breakfast is mostly fake foods and horrible. The coffee was good, though!

Nice comfortable room, good bed, good shower, quiet even though near freeway. Walking access to town, restaurants, shops. But this a bit pricey for an outside corridor motel. If you think the free breakfast is going to offset the cost, don't count on it. Rot gut coffee, rubber eggs, weird cold paper thin slices of ham floating in lukewarm water and cinnamon rolls that came from an NHL equipment room. There are many good breakfast options in town.

We love staying at Antlers in Glenwood Springs because we can walk to nearly anywhere we want to go. If you don't feel like walking they have bicycles that you can check out at the front desk for no charge use. The base of the Caverns gondola is practically around the corner. The hot springs, downtown bars and restaurants are all within 15 min walk. I highly recommend eating at Smoke BBQ. The brisket is tender and delicious!!!!

This place is beautiful. The rooms are nicely updated and unique. Not your cookie cutter hotel room. Check in was busy but efficient. Breakfast was great. The only thing that could improve this property is a exercise room. Otherwise very impressed!

We stayed here recently and were pleased with our very large two queen bedroom. It was clean with a huge shower and room darkening curtains. We would have loved to open our windows but next to our room was a fire pit with many smokers sitting there at all times. We would have liked to sit out there too but we're not fans of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was very good with waffles, eggs, sausage etc. in a cozy setting with a burning fireplace. There is a playground for the kids, spa and pool. The large spruce trees on the property are gorgeous.

Nice property, rooms, pool and breakfast area, however the management was very unresponsive and non-apologetic to the loud guests on Both sides of our room...This lasted from late night till early morning ! The front desk said they did have a lot of complaints in addition to ours , but there was nothing they could do because they were not doing anything illegal??!! WOW..how about the concern of paying guests in getting a nights rest? I sent an email directly to the manager there and also left our phone number. He never bothered to answer! I told the women at the desk we would be leaving even though we had reserved 3 nights..she advised us that both guests on either side of us would be leaving. On top of this, the morning we were to leave, I was VERY startled by loud noises on our floor, at 8 am..I stepped outside only to find commercial power washers and men using door sanders....no one notified us that this would be happening...and management did not suggest to us the night before to move our room...all other guests were moved! Once again a complaint was lodged that morning and we left early. NO apologies. , No feedback from the manager himself...This is no way to treat your guests. I contacted corporate and they agreed this should not have happened.They informed me that management never received the complaint! This was the icing on the cake! Management also said there was only painting going on ! We submitted pictures of what was going on...Manager guilty of Bold faced lying!!!

We stayed a total of 3 nights, and loved the location, personnel and amenities. Very comfortable, and clean! Really feelt like home with the friendly and professional service of all personnel. We will be staying there again!

The room was newly remodeled. Very current and clean, however the there was no heat and a fan that stayed on. When reported to the front desk, we were told we could not have heat nor turn off the fan. The room was uncomfortably cold. The Pillows are from the stone age.

Pickup at train station promised at reservation was not delivered. Excuse was that service stopped at 3:00pm. Most guests arrive after 3pm. Was told by owner that service would be discontinued completely. If you need a ride from train station make sure it is available.

Motel has nice grounds but the rooms themselves are old and small. Bed was not comfortable but the main problem is the heating / ac. Very outdated. Thermostat on wall did not work. Wall unit very old and loud. Would not stay here again.

Hotel property is on a large 5 acre setting with lots of amenities: large enclosed hot tub, pool, private fire pit areas. The breakfast was great and served in main lobby dinning area with a rustic ambience.

We just stayed at Best Western Antlers 9/13 - 9/15 2019. We have been coming here for close to 20 years. Other visits have been stellar - not this time. We arrived Friday afternoon and noticed the card key took a couple of times to work - as in the light wouldn't even register. It finally let us in and we didn't think it was an issue. We got back later that night - close to 10 pm - with food to microwave having just been to the grocery store. Card key wouldn't work at all. Gal from the office came over with new batteries for the card reader. It still wouldn't work. We went over to the office and microwaved our food there - ate there also. Maintenance man finally got our room open but key still wasn't working. I asked for another room. He said they were full up. We've been there before on "no vacancy" nights and we could tell they had rooms. There was a car and boat pulled up in front of the lodge and it occupied 5 spaces. Somebody is not telling the truth - either the maintenance man or the mgr who told him to say this. We left early the next morning for an all day bike ride without knowing if we would be able to get back into our room. The key finally worked that afternoon, but there is nothing quite like having a room and knowing that you MIGHT NOT be able to get in. Upon check out all the desk clerk had to say was "sorry". This isn't going to cut it. There are too many other choices in Glenwood Springs to consider going back there again. It sounds like this has been a repeating problem.

Best Western Antlers is an exceptional place to stay if you are in the Glenwood Springs, Colorado area. The location is close to everything including site seeing, hot springs, amusement park and restaurants. The staff here were all helpful, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and the overall customer service at this hotel was exceptional. The entire hotel is updated, modern and most important, clean. I would most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property.

I didn't have a lot of hopes booking this hotel, as we had stayed at a fairly bad "cheap" hotel the last time we had visited Glenwood. This Best Western exceeded all our expectations. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. The pool area was great, even having a small wading pool that was perfect for our friends who came with us kiddos. The breakfast was awesome compared to other included breakfasts we have had, hot eggs and sausage with waffle stations, it was great. They also had 3 fire pits they lit every night that you could sit around, so gorgeous. The beds were pretty firm, my husband was okay with that.The parking lot seemed safe and away from the main road. They also have vending machines that take credit cards or apple pay! The location couldn't be better, we were about 3 mins from Iron Mountain Hot Springs Pool, Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, and the Glenwood Caverns Adventure gondola. The staff was also great. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff. Great hot breakfast including extras fixings. Pool was warm and the hot tub was huge! They had scooters for us to get around on and sitting at the nightly fire ring was relaxing. We will be back!!

This is a clean hotel to stay and enjoy what the area has to offer! The breakfast is good, the beds comfy and the shower was good with good water pressure. They also have bikes you can borrow for no extra charge to get around- parking is pretty difficult in the downtown area but easy to walk or ride bikes to everything. There are also nice little areas with Adirondack chairs and fire rings to enjoy a peaceful evening. I definitely recommend staying here. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!!

Great pool, hot tub, fire pits and walking location to downtown. Room had a large closet and seating area. Right off I-70 and we did not hear any noise. They sere Rocky MTN Coffee Co and had hit eggs/meat on buffet.

Stayed at hotel on route from Denver down to Las Vegas. Very convenient for first night on the road. Rooms very clean and quite large. Breakfast was both hot and cold and plenty of choice. Glenwood Springs has a lot to offer. Wish we had more than one night to take time to explore the area.

I've been staying at this hotel for at least 9 years I'd say. Everything was great except my check in experience - and this was the only time I had experienced it. Yes, we were a few hours early and a King Size room was available, it just needed to be "cleared" by the head housekeeper. You'd think on a busy Labor Day weekend that they'd want to clear the rooms quickly instead of having everyone checking in at the same time - she just kept pushing the 4pm hour - no wonder, she wasn't working at 4pm that day. I just found Sandy rude and irritated after I came back to tell her a King Size room was available on the 1st floor (as requested) and she immediately got agitated that the ladies cleaning the rooms said there was one - come to find out it was the head housekeeper that informed me of it. I returned my key and said I'd wait for the room to be cleared (meaning the head housekeeper would call and tell her)...I waited like 15 minutes before returning to the office - she could of called my mobile # and said to come get the key - but no, she had the keys waiting for me and when I walked in she just handed them to me, so coldly. She made me feel bad about wanting to change my room and that's not an experience I wish to have again at this location. I sure do miss the friendly attitude of Pete when checking in for so many years.

Nice,clean, close to everything. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. The whole area is super nice from the front desk easy check in to the great quality of the room. Every staff member was helpful and answered all your questions even if they were busy.

Best Western Antlers falls way short of standard practices in dealing with customers. I had booked a room at the Best Western Antlers this summer, along with 4 other hotels and a rental car. Then my husband was scheduled for surgery the same week that we had planned on travelling. Unfortunately, I had booked the reservation as non refundable. However, when I contacted Priceline, which I had used to book all of the reservations, they were very helpful and understanding. They contacted all of the five hotels, including Antlers, and the rental car that we had reserved. Priceline was able to obtain refunds from the four other hotels and the rental car company. Antlers was the ONLY hotel that would NOT give a refund for the reservation. Not only would they not give a refund, they would not speak to me. I made over 4 calls to the general manager. Each time I was routed to his voicemail and I never received a call back.

It was a very nice 3 night stay in Glenwood Springs and this place goes above and beyond to give you perks to help your vacation. Free bike rentals to go around town, gas fire pits, basketball and tennis and volleyball courts, pool and spa, playgrounds for kiddos. If you have the extra time it's worth taking advantage of all this place has to offer. Great breakfast well organized and lots of options. Very clean and modern look.

This is a really special place. There's so much going on that it's getting closer to being a resort than a hotel, but I guess a property has to have a restaurant to be a resort. But I loved this property. The room itself is very nice. Rather than going for the cabiny look one might expect for a place catering to Colorado tourists, they went for a much more sophisticated approach. The room's colors and decor are very chic. It definitely looked like it had been renovated fairly recently. But even though the look was sophisticated, it still fit in with the property and surrounding area. But what makes this place so special is that it has so much to offer beyond the room. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The pool area was nice and was being enjoyed. There's plenty of outdoor seating scattered around the property, including two groups of chairs with firepits. There were two play areas for kids. They really take advantage of the land property they have while keeping everything nice and uncluttered. The breakfast was fine. At first it seemed like there were only a few tables to sit at, but there's a whole other large and beautifully decorated room to eat in. And to top everything off, the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Given everything that they off, I'd say I slightly underpaid for my room. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when I return.

I'm guessing this motel was built in the 1960s – or 1970s at the latest. By now motels of this vintage have gone through at least one renovation and possibly more. We've stayed in some of those – the kind where the owners/management unwisely skipped the hiring of critical architects and designers and skimped on the quality of the necessary tradesmen. NOT this place, though! It's obvious they got it right when they updated the rooms, especially the bathrooms (as that's where we've seen the shoddiest renovation work), the whole exterior, the lobby, and the breakfast area. Speaking of the breakfast area, the buffet is quite good. While I wouldn't recommend the rubber ham, the scrambled eggs are fluffy and tasty, the oatmeal just right (not runny or gloppy), the coffee good, and plenty of choices even for someone with celiac, like me. For families, they offer a well-kept pool, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and playground equipment. The reception staff was quite courteous and responsive. Even though we were there during the last hurrah of the summer tourist season and the place had no vacancies, the receptionist did her best to find us a quieter room (after we discovered we were in the closet building to a busy highway and right next to the ice machine). If we decide on another Glenwood trip, I'll save myself some browsing time and choose The Antlers again.

There are many fine hotels and motels in Glenwood Springs but we choose the Best Western Antlers. We were not disappointed. What drew us to it was that it felt like a mini-resort. While many places are right off the highway or busy street, Antlers sets back on property away from the traffic. It has great amenities' with the pool, bikes and fire pits to name a few. We could of stayed on grounds for a couple of days. But we were also in walking distance of downtown, the hot springs and other sites. We look forward to going back.

Excellent location to Adventure Park - within walking distance. Breakfast was understaffed by at least one person. Lovely pool and large spa. Popcorn in lobby a nice touch for hungry kids. Very helpful front desk staff.

My sons and I stayed at this motel for four nights from July 29-August 2. We were absolutely smitten with it for the first few days - it was clean, comfortable beds, great breakfasts, nice amenities (a pool, large hot tub, basketball/pickleball court, bikes, laundry facility). Unfortunately we left on a bittersweet note. My son left his airpods on the nightstand on Wednesday night before we left for an evening activity. Our room hadn't been serviced as of 4:00 so I thought we just got missed that day (which I was fine with - we really only needed clean towels). When we returned, our room had been cleaned but his airpods were gone. I tore the room apart looking for them, thinking perhaps they fell behind the bed, in a bag, etc. But they were simply gone. I reported this to the front desk and they wrote down the item along with my room number but that was it. As I walked out another guest who had been standing in the lobby followed me and said the same thing happened to them here the week before. They too thought their room wasn't going to be serviced as it was so late in the afternoon, and when they returned, an item she had left out on their bathroom vanity was missing. I was so reluctant to blame housekeeping but in our case it was so obvious. Long story short: would I stay here again? Yes. BUT - do not keep valuables in plain sight or just don't leave them in the room. I should have known better, just a fair warning to other guests at this motel.

We have been hesitant to book a room here for years, however because we are in the Best Western rewards program we decided to try it. The ground are beautiful and lots of activities to do right at the hotel. The heated pool and the hot tub were great. Our room was clean and orderly on the ground floor as we had requested. The unfortunate part of this property is that there are no elevators, however there are lots of ground floor rooms. The breakfast was typical BW fare. The staff was friendly and helpful - even with the amount of people needing assistance. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is recently renovated and they did a good job of it. Location is really great.We had a series of problems with staff, some more problematic than others. The worst was when the wifi needed to be reset. I called the front desk to tell them, and her response was "No, it doesn't need to be reset. Call the 800 number on the card on the desk and they'll help you." So we called, and after a lot of time consuming talk with the tech, he said he would call the hotel and tell them to reset the wifi. Which he did. He told her to "push the button". Why wasn't this her first move, when we asked her to? Why are they using a tech service when they should be training employees to just do the (simple) job when needed? We checked out early rather than risk that the wifi wouldn't be up for my husband's morning meeting. I had called the manager to ask what sort of bikes were available for borrowing. The front desk person had described them as "regular bikes - like you get from Walmart". In a town full of bicyclists, she barely knew what a bicycle was. The manager never called me back despite my leaving two voicemails for him. The bikes turned out to be cruisers, which would have been fine, but they were in very poor condition. Brakes barely functioned. The first morning, our room was not cleaned. No big deal, except that the housekeeper had lied. She marked that she checked the room at 8:30 (we had the privacy sign up) and at 12:00. She did not check the room at 12:00, as by then the please clean sign was up and we'd already been gone an hour. Finally, when we checked out the night before our stay was due to be over, the woman at the desk simply said "You'll be charged for tonight." Again, some training needed. No question about how our stay was, or why we were leaving early.

We loved the HOTEL-the staff on the other hand, was rude, condescending, and extremely unhelpful. The hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy all things in Glenwood Springs. We enjoyed hanging out around the pool, hot tub, fire pits, and grill. If the staff had been hospitable I would give this place an A+ but because the staff was the opposite of hospitable then I give a C- As long as you don't have to deal with the desk staff, then I would completely recommend this place!

Always super clean, great amenities, nice people. Pet friendly. Nice pool and hot tub, and bikes are available any time. Staff is always helpful and the entire facility is always very clean! Wonderful stay every time!

From location within walking distance to everything, to friendly staff, to nice pool, laundry facility and breakfast. Be hard to beat this place. It seemed like it was a beautiful 10 minute walk to anywhere. Will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel is very clean, and nice modern cabin look, and around all major attractions. At a very short walking distance from many good places. We walked to adventure park, less than 2 blocks away. We walked to Tequilas Co tails an amazing Mexican restaurant, less than a block away. Gas station and other fast food 1-2 blocks away. Less than 5 minute drive from down town,mall,and shopping center. Loved everything hotel had to offer for a couple and a whole family..volley ball net,tennis,basketball court,several outdoor bon fire pits with lounging chairs around,pool,kiddy pool,hottub. We definitely will be back with the family to do a lot more things that gleenwood springs has that we could not do in the 3 days that we were here and stay here at the Best Western Antlers again. You do need to bring extra pillows and blanket with you if you are like us that like to be able to sit up on bed..pillows are really soft and we like them more firm..and beds do not have a heavy blanket on then. Im the kind that is always cold. And like heavy blankets.

This hotel was perfect for our family: walking distance to everything in Glenwood Springs, pool, hot tub, hot breakfast, fire pits, volleyball, basketball and tennis and more. Great service, nice rooms and baths. We absolutely loved it! Highly recommend the green chile on your eggs.

Best Western in Glenwood is located in an ideal spot. Close to several restaurants, hot springs, adventure park. Plus the grounds have a lot to offer. They have pools, courts, fire pits, outdoor seating. Descent breakfast with eggs, usually sausage or ham, yogurt, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, etc. They don't offer ice water at breakfast. Only coffee or juice. I would stay there again.

This hotel is situated on a beautiful piece of ground within walking distance of all the top tourist attractions in Glenwood Springs. The grounds are beautiful with mountain view's all the way around the site.The exterior finish of the hotel is tasteful and blends into the ecosystem. It is directly across the street from Two Rivers Park, at the confluence of The Roaring Fork of the Gunnison and Colorado Rivers.The walking / bike path is easily accessed into downtown Glenwood Springs and along the Colorado River.The rafting and fishing take out ramp is in the park. The interior finish of the rooms are appointed to very high standards.The lobby where guests are offered an excellent complimentary breakfast , is a warm and friendly environment . The staff were all personable, polite and professional. After many years of choosing Best Westerns when traveling, the Best Western Antlers is far and away ,the best there is anywhere !

This hotel was really good value for money. The room was really nice. Note that housekeeping will not service your room until late afternoon. Great swimming pool and spa but unaccompanied children are a problem in this area right up to midnight and hotel does not challenge them Hot breakfast was good as well WiFi worked well in rooms and checkout was quick Not that far a walk into town either so you can leave your car at the hotel

So one year they allow dogs then the next year they don't. Now they allow them again. Oh but you have to stay with the dog in the room the whole time so I guess no hot springs or adventure park for you! Thanks but I'll go somewhere the staff actually has some brains about what people do when they vacation. I would never stay here again. It's mediocre to begin with and the staff is not the most professional bunch of people I've ever spoken to.

A handy location, just a minute or two off I-70. Glenwood Springs has a lot to offer to tourists, whether passing through or staying to explore. This motel has several buildings, an outdoor heated pool (it was a chilly night when we arrived, and you could see the steam rising from the pool, and a number of folks enjoying it despite the nip in the air). Room was ample, clean, and the bathroom appeared to have had recent updates of fixtures and such. This facility wasn't quite as luxurious as some others we've stayed in - not bad at all, just not quite as fancy, but that was offset by the location, the variety of amenities offered, etc. Outside firepits with log chairs around them, tennis court, pool, kiddie pool, spa, better laundry facilities than most motels offer, etc. Walls were just a little thin, we could hear conversations in the next room (not loud, but audible), but the window coverings were such that we slept a lot later than we have been, because the room was so dark, which is a real plus.

I booked the wrong month and the franchise refused to alter/modify my reservation. I was not able to use the reservation and was still charged for it. I am certain that BW Antlers in Glenwood sold my room to another traveler and also charged me. In my opinion, that is quite a money making scam.

we stayed in a room that could sleep 6. It looked like it was just remodeled, so loved the decor. The main sleeping area had two queen beds with large bathroom in back. No door to sink area, but toilet and shower in separate room. Off to the side of the main sleeping and sink area is a nice sized room with a door. It had a comfortable queen size bed. Each sleeping area had a t.v. Perfect for our family of 5 which included 3 adult children. Breakfast was good with a big seating area. Getting the food could be overcrowded as it is smaller than the seating area. Would be my first choice visiting Glenwood Springs again.

Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in...very quiet night as well. I would've loved a better breakfast. I know it's difficult to feed a lot of people, but I'm tired of the same processed choices. The price was higher than I usually spend on a room, but it was super clean and comfortable

The Best Western has a good location and easy parking. It's a short drive to both Hot Springs Facilities. The new pedestrian bridge across the river provides an easy walk to the downtown area. While we were there we noticed a lot of construction going on along the River Front. There are also several restaurants nearby.

The Best Western Antlers was a very nice stay. The rooms were very adequate and we enjoyed sitting by the campfire in the evening. The breakfast was the usual breakfast, great for a continental breakfast. We walked downtown and it was a very nice walk with several places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay here again.

My sister and I traveling across country stayed at the Antlers May 17th. After driving all day we were tired and just wanted an “easy access “ room. Alicia , the hotel desk personnel, had given us a room on the 2nd floor. We asked if there was an elevator....no she said. She sensed we did not want to do the stairs! She said wait let me look again and found a room on the first floor and could not have been anymore convenient! The room was great....staff was very accommodating. Very nice grounds and good coffee! And btw this hotel was full! EZ access to highways! Thank you again Alicia!

We had spent the day hiking to hidden lake and decided to stay in the area to enjoy the city/hot springs. The room appeared to be renovated recently and was spotless. The bathroom was immaculate. The towels left something to be desired, but overall excellent option for the money.

Made reservations through 800# being very specific about a disibility that eliminates my ability yo climb ANY steps or stairs. On arrival at hotel was told there are 6 steps up to room. Had to go elsewhere.

Several lodges spread over wooded lots with a great breakfast selection. Located on the south side of Glenwood Springs near several restaurants and within walking distance of the downtown area. Free popcorn and peanuts in the lobby.

WE love Antlers! WE have two small children so being able to enjoy the 2' pool with them is priceless. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is great, it's close to everywhere we wanted to go. Unless we discover somewhere better, we'd plan on staying here each time we visit Glenwood Springs.

The service I receive is so great every time. I love the rooms I get to 'live in,' because all the rooms have been remodeled by the new owners. The location is great because it;s very close to the Glenwood Springs and great restaurants. The amenities include the free breakfast, the great employees, the quietness location, the beautiful pool, heated hot tub, and the amazing outside sitting areas that have a safe fire, comfortable furniture and each is in a private area. I like ALL of it because it keeps improving.

From the moment I drove in to when I got to my room, and to my last breakfast—this hotel exceeded my expectations! It was my first time staying at a best western and I guess I didn't know what to expect—and maybe Antlers is nicer than most, or the photos online don't do it justice—but regardless, i had a very pleasant stay. The room was spotless, modern but had rustic touches and the staff was polite, friendly and professional. And the amenities are great even though I didn't use most them this stay—pool, hot tub, tennis, laundry, playground, free breakfast, WiFi and parking. Highly recommend overall!

This best western is one of the nicest I have stayed. The room we stayed in was very modern. My wife and daughter were very pleased. The lobby and dining area is spacious and nicely laid out. After visiting the vapor caves we further relaxed in huge indoor hot tub. Outdoor facility wasn't opened yet.

It breaks my heart to write this review. My family has stayed at this property for four generations. I have been a frequent visitor since the 70's and have often posted 5-star reviews. The property remains nice and well maintained, but is now suffering from a bad manager by the name of Scott Dyer, and at least on very rude staff member. During a recent stay, we returned from the hot springs pool about 4:30 pm. We were looking forward to a shower and going out to dinner. Our room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and asked if perhaps housekeeping was behind and had not gotten to our room yet, or if they simply missed cleaning our room. The woman at the front desk seem quite confused. She put me on hold and came back a few minutes later to state that housekeeping would get to us. I specifically asked if they were coming right away (as a result of our call), or if they were still making their normal rounds, so it might be a while. She indicated that they would get to us eventually. She said she was sure "they'd be around," or words to that effect. We didn't want to be in the way of housekeeping, but we also needed to shower for dinner. After about 20 minutes of waiting, my wife decided to take a quick shower. This was about 4:50. As soon as she got in, housekeeping arrived. I told the housekeeper that my wife would just be a few minutes. My wife hurried out of the shower, and we decided to go for a walk while they cleaned the room, then we'd come back and finish getting ready for dinner. When we left the room, there was no evidence of the housekeeping staff anywhere on the floor. We stopped at the front desk to let them know we were out of the room. The woman at the front desk then very rudely told us that housekeeping was gone for the day. I asked about cleaning our room, and she told us that they tried to clean our room, but we "sent them away." I replied that my wife was in the shower and we merely asked that they come back in a few minutes. I was astonished at her response. She said, "If you wanted your room cleaned, you shouldn't have gotten in the shower." I told her we had no way of knowing when housekeeping was going to be there. She replied that when you "call for housekeeping," (presumably referring to my call to the front desk at 4:30) they always come right away. I reminded her that I specifically asked WHEN they would be coming, and she said eventually, not right away. Also important to note, they did not come right away, they came 20 minutes later. She flippantly replied "well, I guess we had a miscommunication." I then asked how we would get our room cleaned, and she said we wouldn't because housekeeping had left for the day. She then repeated her mantra that if we wanted our room cleaned, we shouldn't have gotten in the shower. I told her that we were frequent guests at this hotel, and I really didn't care for her attitude about the situation. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, having previously traveled as part of my job. Her attitude and demeanor were the worst I've encountered anywhere on the globe. I then asked the bigger question - why wasn't our room cleaned to begin with. She replied that we had the do not disturb sign on the door. I'll state emphatically that this is not true. It's ironic she chose that particular excuse, because at the beginning of our stay, the sign kept falling off the inside door handle, so we took it off and placed it under the desk lamp, where it remained. I told her that the sign was not on our door, and in my experience, that's the canned response housekeeping gives when they miss a room. She said that information came from the manager. Interesting the manager would know each room that had a DND sign on it. I asked to speak to the manager, so she gave me the business card of Scott Dyer. We went back to our room and I left Mr. Dyer a message, indicating what had happened, and asked him to call me to discuss his employee's attitude. I wasn't (and remain) not so upset about the cleaning of the room, as I'm bewildered at the attitude of the woman at the desk. When we asked about cleaning the room (both on the phone and in person) we were polite with her. Scott Dyer did not call me back. The next morning at checkout, I asked the very nice lady at the front desk if Scott was around. She said he was in a meeting. I indicated who I was, and she said he had left something for us. It was a credit. While I appreciate the consideration, I was not looking for a credit or any compensation. That's not how I operate. The purpose of my call was not to get money, it was to let him know how we were treated by his employee. When we returned home, I emailed Scott Dyer to explain the situation. I told him in my email that while I appreciated the credit, that was not what I wanted. I indicated in my email that I still wanted to speak with him about how his employee treated us. At this point, I don't care about the cleaning of the room. To this day I've never received the courtesy of a simple call. Apparently Mr. Dyer thinks all complaints are people looking for money, or he doesn't care how his staff treats guests. Guests that did nothing wrong whatsoever, other than ask to have their room cleaned. So be warned. If you stay at the Antlers and you have a problem, the front desk is likely to tell you it's your own fault, and the manager, Scott Dyer, will back them up and definitely won't even give you the courtesy of a phone call. Mistakes happen. I judge a business not by their mistakes, but by their response. The Antlers has failed miserably.

On a recent visit to the historic hot springs in Glenwood Springs, CO we stayed at the Best Western Antlers. It is an older hotel/motel, but is extremely well kept and maintained. Obviously it has been remodeled throughout the years. The breakfast buffet is very good and the breakfast room seating is very adequate. The Antlers is conveniently located to the historic hot springs which our family enjoyed to the max. The weather in Glenwood Springs that weekend was even better than the weather in Denver where we live. I would highly recommend a visit to the hot springs and stay at the Antlers.

Wonderful updates to this room, beautiful shower and ceiling. Relatively convenient as it's right in between downtown and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Their staff was warm and friendly, whether speaking on the phone or speaking to them at the front desk. However, a few things to be aware of: 1) Two different types of mattresses in our two queen room. One was extremely comfortable and one was extremely uncomfortable 2) Loud and interesting neighbors in the the apartment complex that you can almost touch from the bathroom window in Deer Lodge 3) If you take the train into town and have no car, you need to walk a half mile or more for the best restaurants, the main pool, and iron mountain. While not a problem for us, please keep that in mind I will definitely stay again, especially if I can stay in any of the other buildings besides Deer Lodge.

Love this place! The rooms are always clean. It is within walking distance to restaurants, the hot springs, downtown and other attractions. The breakfast offerings are good and the breakfast area is spacious and beautiful.

The front desk did a great job joggling room service calls and front desk duties. She was alone but handled it really well and with a smile. She added my award member number after I checked in my room. Took me a minute to find it and she was will to help but I was not having it. She had to many customers walking in the door. Spring break is always busy. She made sure that i new about the amenities like breakfast and I almost walked out without my key. She ran and caught me, "that key holder has the internet password". Very important to have.

Stayed in Moose Lodge, which was a renovated building. Clean, comfortable beds, service was good. Average breakfast. Only ding...the heat fan in our room was very loud. But otherwise a pleasant stay. Within walking distance to downtown Glenwood Springs.

The rooms are so beautiful! I was in shock for a while because it exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect, the town is clean and beautiful! Just a very welcoming environment. I do believe it's the nicest I've stayed at to date! Very pleased with the overall experience!

Overall the hotel was really well kept and in a great location. I had a womens dress cap come up missing from my room and when reported to front desk they just told me to go to police if i wished. They did not act the least concerned about it. I went to reception the night prior to leaving and made full report so housekeeping could be questioned the next morning. When i went for checkout the next morning the lady at desck knew nothing about my complaint that previous night. Really unprofessional and lack of concern for persons staying there.

This hotel was clean and tidy. Had nice views and a delicious breakfast. Best part is we stayed with our dog and the 'pet room' we were given, was as clean as the non pet rooms. We will stay at this hotel again.

Best Western Antlers is a large family owned property in Glenwood Springs. Our room was clean and updated but still felt like a Motel. The room doors open to the outside. Parking is next to your room. Having said that, that's why we loved staying at this spot. The grounds are very well cared for with lots of space to move about. The price was very reasonable. We book a 4 day stay that included a weekend. The weekend days were very crowded. This is the BEST family lodging in Glenwood Springs. When you are tired of spending money on the area's high priced activities, Antlers has free outside activities for all, including a expansive lawn, play area and pool. You are close enough to walk to the famous Glenwood pool and other attractions. Breakfast is included.

This is always a great place to stay. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, breakfast is good. We always stay here when we go to Glenwood for the hot springs experience. In addition, it is an easy drive over to Grand Junction to visit family in the area.

Great, warm welcome, easy & fast check-in, rooms and parking very convenient from lobby!!! Ashley, the front desk manager, was very helpful identifying restaurants and how to get to the hot springs. The hotel is very close to Ironwood Hot Springs, 2 blocks, which made it very easy and convenient to visit the hot springs!

The lodge was outstanding! My three daughters, two of whom had never seen snow in person before, experienced a lovely stay. Traveling from hawaii, this was my top stop for the trip, and one my girls will remember.

Attractive looking hotel. The rooms are located in blocks close to the main building which houses reception and the dining area. The place looks just how I imagined a Colorado mountain resort to look. Nice landscaped area (on the hill behind the blocks) where you can sit out. There is an outdoor pool (I think part of it is also indoor). The rooms are a little on the small side and are quite rustic. Limited TV channels (compared to other place we stayed at during the trip). The complimentary breakfast offering was fine.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The price was right, the room was nice, and the staff was impeccable. I like that this place is right in the middle of things, and, yet, still secluded on its own grounds. It is perfectly situated equally between the two hot springs within walking distance of either. It is also close to the gondola that takes people up the hill to the amusement park, and the caves. The room, itself, is big and comfortable. It was clean enough, and neat enough. I like the cable TV, and the heaters in the room. The beds were nice, and the housekeeping staff didn't bother us any more than needed - they respected our privacy. This was a very enjoyable get-away made even better by the friendly, accommodating staff. Everyone was so nice to us, and really made us feel welcome. I will definitely recommend this place, and will definitely come back in the future.

Closer to three and a half stars to be precise. This is a decent hotel but very pricey. It does seem to be an expensive town to stay in. The location is good for the town centre. Check in was polite and friendly. All the staff we encountered were friendly. The rooms are fairly neat and clean. They do look fairly recently renovated. Unfortunately the TV service is woeful. A limited number of channels, of which half are in "fuzzy vision". The internet service was patchy. The breakfast was very good, and the staff worked hard to keep things topped up. Overall, a decent hotel in a pricey town. We would consider returning here if in the area.

Driving up it doesn't look like much. It's a motel, the rooms open up to the outdoors rather than an indoor hallway. But the rooms are nice and updated, and the free breakfast is very good. It is located within walking distance of the aerial tram that goes to the glenwood adventure park, and also close to the iron mountain hot springs.

Our family has enjoyed this property for generations. Always a good experience. We love the newly remodeled decor. This hotel has been well maintained and is conveniently located. Five stars. Would recommend.

Do not believe the free shuttle from the train station. Our train was late, which I understand happens often (almost daily)! When I called, the desk person said their shuttle only runs until 3. Did not offer to send a taxi, suggested we walk- it's only a 15 minute walk! Many people could not walk that far, certainly not those who are not used to the altitude. Decent breakfast, nice room, good location.

Years back we stayed here as a family with two young children. This is when Mary was the owner (not sure if she currently is or not). Mary is the rudest, most unprofessional, and power hungry woman. Our girls were under 7 and 1 years old and we spent the day at the hot springs pool, upon our arrival back to the hotel in the evening we were greeted by Mary, who seemed to be STALKING us to meet us outside our room. After having to almost PUSH her aside to get the kids into the room, Mary informed us that we NEEDED to leave our room. It was a handicapped room and she had not booked us properly. After asking if we could have some sort of compensation for the troubles of HER improper booking, she said no and left. Mary returned shortly after with a SECURITY GUARD and asked us to leave the property. A family of two little girls, a mom, and the girls grandmother. Stuff all over the room, including a pack and play for the baby, luggage, food, you name it. We used to stay at the Best Western Antlers EVERY year for 4-5 nights at a time. We will NEVER EVER return. We don't even like to stay with the Best Western chain any more. Mary is an awful woman and shouldn't be left in charge of anything. We hope she is no longer in charge, and if she is, I will leave a bad review of her as often as I can. Vile woman.

Great location, nice exterior. Interior of room needs remodeling/cleaning, and updating. Restroom facilities were dated, and not efficient. Housekeeping was not good. The room rate was extraordinarily high for the condition of the room, Disappointing... wouldn't recommend staying.

My husband and I are astonished this is a 3 star place. I'm giving it 2 stars because it is located close to things which are nice. However, it needs to be updated. The bathroom is historic, the carpet was stained with something white and had not been vacuumed or washed in a long time. There was food left under the vanity, pretzels which tell us it wasn't properly cleaned by any means. Shower pressure very poor. All of this probably tolerable when traveling on a budget as we are military the service was awful. The woman was almost rude to us, and when leaving made a very negative comment on about the military. We are used to this style of behavior but will not be returning to any Best Western locations for this reason.

Loved the location, breakfast was substantial and the front desk and management team were superb and attentive. We were within walking distance of the two different hot springs pools and chose the newer ones just to the west. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms were updated and clean.

Very clean and spacious with a small fridge and microwave in rooms. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included:waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt and other items. Beds were very soft if needing a firm bed or have back problems this might be a consideration. No HD TV. Several Handicap rooms that were spacious and accessible. Several gas fire pits, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, and volleyball court. A great family place that is centerally located.

I last stayed here about 10 years ago and will do so next time I'm in town. I stayed four nights on this visit. This is a large property that has been nicely maintained. Excellent location for Glenwood Springs attractions, most within walking distance. Plenty of parking. Breakfast options are outstanding. Room was larger than expected for only having one queen bed and was very clean. Great Wifi. This would be a 5-star review if the TV service was better. Although the room had a flat-screen TV, the signal was analogue, the amount of channels available was below average (no CNBC, for example) and the aspect ratio was not set correctly for the TV, cutting off part of the picture (and not user adjustable with the remote). This is a minor quibble though, and I recommend this facility highly.

This property is very well appointed offering everything from tennis, to volleyball, to horseshoes. The pool was very swimmable , even w/an outside temp of 65 degrees, and the hot tub was large and very clean. The chairs around the pool were of the quality you normally only see at a 5-star resort. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very attentive, and helpful. Check in was great. The only exception we had is that when I requested a "non-pet" room, the clerk was honest, and said that every room has animals stay in it. She did say she would put us in a room that had the least pets stay there, but basically, animals stay throughout the entire place. There are people walking their dogs trough the lobby where breakfast is served, dog bones on the check-in counter, and dog watering dishes outside the front door. If I had to ask what the hotels focus is, it's pets. As soon as we got in the room, (I have very slight allergies), my eyes watered, and my nose began to run, and didn't stop until we left. I slept very little. The carpet is a brown tight loop type that holds the dirt, dander, and hair...until you walk across it in socks. Do yourself a favor and avoid wearing white socks, as you really don't want to see what you're walking on. I get that people have pets, I have them also, but am able to part with them long enough to travel, and have them kenneled. I have no problem with hotels being pet friendly, and having specified rooms for pets. I would have no problem with smoking rooms either (I don't smoke), if that's what people want to sleep in, but guests should have a choice. This is an awesome property with an above average staff. I only wish that pets were not prioritized over humans.

Five of us spent one night in two rooms. This appears to be an older motel that's been nicely remodeled. Rooms were nice. Grounds are nice. Nice heated pool, and hot tub. Enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night. Nice breakfast buffet with lots of dining tables. Convenient location, free parking.

Stayed two nights while attending a funeral. Choices in Glenwood were not very good. Room appeared clean until I realized the floor is what was getting our feet dirty. Not impressed by the small room or accommodation for a tourist town.

I was disappointed that I couldn't use my rewards points for this stay but pleased that, at this price point, the cost of the room is still reasonable. My daughter and I were in Room 120 which is a standard sized double queen room with an easy chair and an ottoman on the first floor near the lobby. Although not posh, the room itself was adequate for our purposes; clean, well-furnished, and the beds are comfortable. But, I have a few complaints concerning the room. For starters, the TV, which is of an appropriate size, does not have a good picture quality; it's simply not up to contemporary standards. In addition, the channel selection is limited to only a few dozen channels (two of which are HBO). Also, the sink drain is almost completely clogged. Finally, since there are few amenities to this particular room, I think they should take advantage of the empty space behind the room door to add a second suitcase rack and a second small trash can near the table/desk. Judging from the photos already posted and on the hotel website, some rooms are indeed better than others, so it would make sense to ask for one of the better (or upgraded) rooms. The swimming pool is located outdoors and heated; the hot tub is indoors near the pool - both close at 10:00 p.m. The parking lot is not very well lit but I doubt that crime is much of a problem in this neighborhood. There are small enclaves with Adirondack chairs and small fire pits where folks can sit outside to visit and there's a playground for the kiddies. The free breakfast was okay; the usual powdered eggs plus small slices of Canadian bacon (no potatoes or biscuits and gravy). It seems that the mainstay of their breakfast offerings are the three waffle irons. But, it was free - as was the parking and the wi-fi (although the signal is weak). The devil is in the details and it's the little pluses that kept me from rating this hotel at only three circles. Conversely, a little attention to some of the minuses might have resulted in an even better rating. I would have awarded three and a half circle if that had been an option, and I could have gone up or down from there. Due to the friendliness of the staff (kudos to the maintenance man who chatted for a few minutes with my daughter), I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rounded my rating up to four circles; and that's still Very Good.

Centrally located in Glenwood Springs. Clean, comfortable, complete breakfast included, ample parking and free WiFi. Room was clean and comfortable with microwave and mini fridge. Sandy greeted us at the front desk and got us checked in, making sure we were comfortable and all set. She was helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome and expected.

This place is relatively clean, it is in a great location but I'd give it more 2 star than 3. They did try to make it look a little nicer but it just doesn't have a 3 star feel. The staff at the front desk was less than friendly (borderline rude). I was feeling sick to my stomach and asked if I could have a yogurt and was told no...I even offered to pay for it and was still told no. Walls also were very thin and you could hear neighbors all hours of the night as well as traffic.

Quick book on. Nice pool (did not get time to use) park out side the room was good. Large room with tv, small fridge and microwave. Comfy bed and a large bathroom / dressing area. Iron and board if needed. Stayed on first floor little noise from room above but we did go bed early and it did not keep us up. Nice clean hotel with inclusive breakfast.

Pleasantly surprised at the attractiveness of the grounds and hotel itself. Check-in went seamlessly and the front desk person was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and of good size. Breakfast was very good and the staff was able to keep the food coming with the full house crowd. All in all, a very nice stay.

This is a nice motel in Glenwood Springs. This motel offers comfy beds and roomy interior and well maintained. Nice breakfast area and breakfast offers many selections. Jacuzzi in a separate building.

Room was modern and I think recently renovated. Comfy bed, good shower, TV etc. Locations is a short walk out of the town centre but not at all inconvenient. In fact, very handy to have a car hire place basically opposite. Other handy things were the laundry room on site. Not cheap, but better value than other options in town. Only issue with the place was the breakfast buffet- not big enough for all the people, and options were pretty rubbish- but that wasn't a problem. Th town has great options!

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff with great service. Good breakfast in the mornings. They also have ample parking. Centrally located to all of the restaurants and general activities in the Glenwood area.

Very nice stay at Antlers. Nice beds with extra pillows and updated bathrooms. Close to rafting and hot springs pools. A short drive over the bridge into the main restaurant area and right off I-70 do very convenient .

We stayed in Glenwood Springs for a wedding that was in Silt, Colorado. The rooms were nice and clean, and we enjoyed the table on the second floor outside the room as a great place to visit with other relatives and play cards. They really had a lovely breakfast buffet, as well as plenty of room to sit and visit. I would stay there again. I will say that nothing in Glenwood Springs is in expensive, though.

While there's a plethora of lodging options in Glenwood Springs, they all seem to charge high-season resort prices year-round. Even the most modest places cost $100 - $150, The Best Western Antlers is in this category. It's not a bad motel, but there's nothing to particularly recommend it. One positive was that when I arrived by train on an extremely hot afternoon, I was able to get a room before the official check-in time. That room was clean. It seemed cramped and dark, though, and the refrigerator dripped on the carpet all through my stay. I had to let the shower run for about five minutes before I got even a hint of hot water. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the wi-fi worked well. The breakfast was honestly disappointing. It was heavy on starch and light on protein, and the juice was badly watered down. My vacation took me to a variety of different places in Colorado, Utah, and California. Glenwood Springs was by far the most expensive of them, though there was nothing there that seemed to justify the prices. The Best Western Antlers is basically just an old ma 'n' pa hotel with a chain franchise, yet they charge more than many places in downtown Denver.

The motel is almost like a park, very nice landscaping and styling. The room was above average, best we have had in Glenwood (two others), it was well remodeled with a huge bathroom. Was the best deal in Glenwood in my opinion and I expect it to be my place for the future..

We stayed at this hotel with 2 adults and 3 teens. We were able to get a room with 3 Queen beds which gave us plenty of room. The rooms are fine...little dark with only one small window but we were not there that much. Breakfast was basic but good. Walking distance to downtown. Nice pool and hot tub.

Nice rooms, great working air conditioner.. Downstairs bar is nice place to have a few beers. Walking distance to downtown.. breakfast was hot and more then just microwaved eggs and bacon.. If on a motorcycle like us, ask to park in one of the front parking spots..

This hotel was a very good value. Stayed at this hotel twice this year. Once in March and again in August. Took my children and grandchildren to the Adventure Park and Hot Springs and this hotel is the perfect location being just around the corner from the park entrance. Both times we reserved the family room - 3queen beds, one of which is in its own separate room, so plenty of room to spread out! The kids had a great time at the swimming pool there, good size and clean. The breakfast (included with the room) was tasty and had a nice variety, everyone found something they liked. There's also a playground on site, as well as, games in a room off the lobby with a nice rock fireplace. Will stay there again when in the area.

This was a refreshing stay for us when passing through on a cross-country road trip. We had three criteria for our hotels on our trip: Pet friendly, free breakfast, and hot tubs. Suffice it to say, we were not disappointed with Best Western Antlers. We got a lot more than we bargained for as well. We had no idea how close it was to shops, restaurants, and other activities. It was also just absolutely BEAUTIFUL there. Everything was clean, beds were comfy, shower was GREAT, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We liked it so much that we are trying to get both our families to meet there sometime soon to share a whole vacation for the family. And we are recommending them all to stay at this Best Western. It was one of the more satisfying stays in any place we've ever had. Thank you to the Best Western Antlers staff and ownership. You all are doing a great job at making this place a little oasis in a little-known stop off I-70. If you're passing through this part of the country, don't hesitate to try this hotel.

This is a pet-friendly hotel that charged $20/night for our dog, and had dog treats on the reception counter and a dog water dish outside the lobby - truly pet-friendly. There was a huge outdoor area, with pool, kids' pool, hot tub; volleyball court, horseshoes, tennis court, and a number of fire pits with comfy adirondack chairs around them. This is a great location to relax and spend some time. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful.

Antlers Inn is a two storey motel style hotel arranged over several blocks. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The complimentary breakfast is very good. The hotel is located on the wrong side of the river to the main centre and restaurants. Walking distance over a bridge is about 15 minutes. Nothing much near the hotel but it is a quiet spot.

Our family with teenagers couldn't be happier with our stay and the clean, large & nice room, pool with comfy lounge chairs to enjoy watching the sun set & mountain view, hot tub, free bikes to ride in gorgeous canyon only .5 mile away, pickle ball, sand volleyball, yummy big hot breakfast, pretty firepit sitting areas, wooden rockers in the morning, board games, and the fantastic location walking distance to many shops, restaurants & Glenwood Hot Springs. The room (we had #207 in Caribou Lodge) conveniently had way more outlets and USB ports than any other more expensive hotels, blow dryer & iron. Also available to guests for free: Wifi, laundry, computer, printer, pool towels, sports equipment & bikes. We highly recommend BW Antlers Inn we've loved 2 years in a row and our favorite Mexican restaurant ever across the street, Tequilas and inexpensively rafting on the Colorado River with Defiance Rafting Groupon or Living Social voucher. Also visit Kaleidoscoops icecream on Grand and do the Beautiful Hanging Lake hike - early, when parking is possible. When the mountains start calling, this is a VERY affordable, fun getaway to enjoy quality time together in God's beautiful creation!

This place was nice, very clean, breakfast was good, and the service was great. We got an early wakeup call because we were leaving to play golf and travel to Moab. The breakfast and in room internet was free.

This hotel is in a great location. You can walk everywhere in Glenwood Springs from here. Easy drive to Aspen and Snowmass. Sandy was very nice at check in and check out. Pet fee was $20 a day. Parking is free. Bikes available to rent. Pool and hot tub were nice. Guest laundry was available also. Room was just ok, kind of small. We will stay here again.

The room was clean and lodge-like. I loved the sloped ceilings and plantatiion shutters. The bed was a bit hard but the a/c worked very well for the hot summer days. We enjoyed the hot tub. We used the refrigerator and were glad to see the microwave but didn't need it. Unfortunately, we never got up in time for breakfast.

Good location and quiet - Nice pool and hot tub. There was no place to park while checking in. Good views of the mountain and the breakfast was adequate. Suggest breakfast hours extended on weekends - if you're paying extra for weekends, you should be able to sleep late and still get breakfast.

Our family has stayed at Antlers for many occasions. It is the largest lodging property in all of Glenwood Springs, boasting amazing views, playgrounds, firepits, an outdoor heated pool and spa. Lots of space! This last trip we took was not so great, service-wise. Our oldest son is significantly handicapped, and as a result, we always request a ground floor room with a ramp attached to the building. We decided to stay in the much more expensive 3-bed suite. This was a mistake for many reasons. Firstly, the rate we paid should certainly cover the cost of housekeeping, but the floor of the bathroom was covered in muddy footprints, and there were used toilet tissue wads under the sink. We had lots of plans for our trip, and when we got back to the hotel after our first evening out, we noticed that the shower fixture was broken, and also the tub was completely inoperable. This presents huge challenges to our family in being able to bathe our oldest son. But we're seasoned travelers, and called the front desk. They assured us a maintenance person would be by the next morning to fix it. We were sure to leave the do not disturb hanger off of the door, and after returning from breakfast, we noticed nothing had been fixed. We called again, understanding how busy hotels can get. By checkout, nothing had been fixed. When we asked for a noon checkout, the manager became visibly irritated and proceeded to tell me that

We stay here all time when in Glenwood Speings, Colorado. They have VERY clean rooms, great staff and the place is newly remodeled with wonderful decor and ice cold air conditioning! The pool here is well maintained and clean! Antlers has a huge hot tub and you can do laundry in their laundry room located in swimming pool building.. Antlers has free bike rental, tennis ?? court, and huge lobby with computer and WiFi .. Antlers has BEST breakfast in Glenwood Springs... Seriously they have a huge breakfast with hot scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cold cereals, fresh waffles that your kids will enjoy preparing with their 3 waffle irons and fresh batter!! ???? Sausage, Canadian bacon, coffee, fresh juices, milk, tea, English muffins, danishes, toast, fresh fruit, and more!!! This is every day to, not just on weekends~ We LOVE Best Western Antlers! Stayed 2 days here, decent location. Rooms were subpar to cleanliness, floors old and stained. Had 3 beds and the seperate room with 3rd bed had no air conditioning so still wasn't private because had to keep door open for air. Best part was pool and hot tub area. Breakfast was your typical, nothing fancy.

The three queen bed room was just the right size for our family. It was nice to have the extra room. The breakfast was very nice with good selection. The outside sitting areas were great to enjoy the cool evening.

My sister and I visited the Antlers with our kids for a fun getaway. The Best Western Antlers far exceeded our expectations. The property is gorgeous with so many options for activities. Sand volleyball, pickle ball, bike rentals and playground all on property! Rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast was great. While we were here we walked to the Hot Springs pool, Blue Sky Adventures and many restaurants on 7th Street. Staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. If you are planning a trip to Glenwood Springs stay at the Antlers!

We really enjoy staying here on many of our 3 week outwest road trips. Many hotels are over-priced in this town. While this one isn't cheap, it's reasonable. Charming, western lodge-style grounds, with nice breakfast area including outside terrace. Pleasant staff (thanks Sandy- good to see you again) including a groundskeeper who offered to take our pic in front of the giant elk sculpture. Fire pits but not usable due to fire threat in area. Nice outdoor pool, free popcorn in lobby. Great coffee in the rooms, made in Colorado, wish I'd bought some at check out. Good mattress quality. Low water pressure in shower but doable :) All in all a solid choice in a pricey but great little town! Will definitely return.

Friendly, helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast included. The hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants and the hot springs resort. There is a pedestrian bridge over the highway so it is easy to get to the downtown area which was lovely-lots of shops and restaurants.

This hotel was extremely helpful and kind when a friend recently experienced a tragedy in Glenwood. The property is peaceful and convenient even though it is close to roads and activities. The staff is great and the amenities are diverse. I will definitely stay there when back in Glenwood Springs.

What a great weekend! We came with 5 kids under 8 (two eight month olds) and they all had a blast, there were ten people total. Great pool with tables and umbrellas. There was a smaller, shallower, pool for the 3 year old. There was always room for our group to spread out. The hotel was fully booked and you could not tell. Breakfast was good with tables big enough to hold our group with high chairs. Kids played board games in the lobby. The staff was always helpful, especially Ashley and the grounds keeper (didn't catch his name). We stayed one night with 2 queens and a 3rd queen in a separate room with a fridge and microwave and the second night had four queens with a fridge a microwave. Both rooms were very nice and the kids were able to stretch out. Picnic tables and a park for the kids to play was very helpful. We will definitely stay again.

I have stayed here a few times and always have a great stay. The staff is friendly and efficient, rooms large and very clean and comfortable, and it's just located in a beautiful and spacious part of town. All in all, a good value during the busy summer tourism season.

Its too bad they ruined our trip. They lied about my mom being able to get a senior discount, lied about having passes for the hot springs and gave no options to work with us on our trip. We flew from AZ to CO to do the train ride up to the springs, the train was running 5 hours late that day and wouldnt allow us to enjoy the day in Glenwood Springs. I called Amtrak to change the train ride they said absolutely, called BW to change the hotel reservation and they said no.... They told me to catch a bus or rent a car. I was shocked. The hotel is actually nice but the service was horrible. There is too many other hotels in the area for less money that could provide better service. Its been about a month now and BW has yet offered anything to resolve our bad experience.

Think 70's swank and charm with all the modern updates and amenities. Modern rooms, even a room with 3 queen beds. Such an awesome family vibe. Everything was extremely clean, even the parking lot. Location in Glenwood was perfect without feeling like you were in the middle of everything. It felt very private and secure. All of the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the kids loved how helpful even the “head chef” was with their waffles. The ONLY thing missing was a bar, but this hotel/motel is within walking distance of a Brewhouse, Glenwood Hot Springs, restaurants, shopping and the Adventure Park. We plan to visit Glenwood Springs again and we definitely look forward to coming back.

This hotel was a lot nicer than online which is rare. It's like a resort. Perfect for your family,they have a hot tub that can fit about 20-25 people, it has a heated kiddy pool, and heated pool. Off the pool area is a nice laundry mat with ice and snacks. The only downside is you do have to walk a ways depending on where your staying. There are separate buildings but all very nice. The rooms are very nice and better than the last Hampton I stayed at. They have a fridge and microwave. The air conditioning is state of the arc and I was very impressed with the room layout. The only thing that seems to be a problem is the WiFi, it isn't the best and doesn't seem to connect,also the lighting near the bathroom is very dim. But I would recommend staying here to anyone with a family passing through Glenwood Springs.

Quoted a price of 149ish in June tourist time weekend... at the end of the phone call I asked the total after tax almost 200 for one night. I took it because I was just passing through town really. They took advantage whatever mo harm done. Below average type place though. Glenwood Springs is kinda a dump in itself but I think if I looked hard enough I could find something better. Something with a kitchenette. Bottom line is I really didn't like the way they jack people around with the prices. Next time I'll go somewhere else and negotiate the price better. Or figure out a way to book online cheaper.

we were in glenwood springs for the graduation of our niece The hotel was comfortable. Staff helpful. room was good size and had been recently renovated. The hotel is within walking distance of many venues. would stay here again... The buffet breakfast was good, but could use some changes daily. Bacon would be nice! We had beautiful weather, and made use of the pool daily.

The room was spacious and quiet. We were on the second floor. There are no elevators, so make sure you can walk the stairs with your luggage. The breakfast buffet had a good choice of food including make-your-own waffles and eggs. My granddaughter really enjoyed the pool and small playground. There were lots of other kids, which was a plus for us.

The rooms are spacious and yet the location is terrific. What's the deal with towels? Small - tiny even, cheap, and scratchy. They need to either elevate the amenities or lower the price because the hotel is showing his age. The water in the shower would one minute be perfect, then would scald you, or turn cold instantly. The gap under the front door needs fixed.

Just stayed one night, hoping to go to Hanging Lake in the morning. Hotel is within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Check in staff was very friendly and gave us a map. The morning staff and the lady taking care of the breakfast were not as friendly or nice. I think the hotel was a bit pricey as we stayed in 5 different hotels in CO and this was our most expensive. Recommendation to request a room on first floor, there wasn't an elevator and we had to carry our bags. Hotel was clean.

Way over priced & will not be back! Your business is not appreciated. Management & some of the staff will make you feel like your bothering them. Billing problems that they will not fix. Even miss led the corporate office. If you your looking to support business that are run with integrity & character this is not the place.

Hotel is near shopping and dining and a good walking distance to the Glenwood Hot Springs. Our stay was only overnight but it was a spacious room for the 4 of us. It had a mini fridge a microwave and a 2 seat table. Since our room was near the road, it was a bit noisy through the night and morning. Breakfast is your typical continental hot breakfast and there were available seating the time we visited. We enjoyed the blueberry waffles. Our only complaint is that they did not have additional towels, we were told they would have some available in the morning. The cable line up could be better, it was very limited and there were no available channels for the younger kiddoes. This hotel could be great for an overnight stay for the price

We stayed over night at the Best Western Antlers hotel in Glenwood Springs on our way home from Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a nice hotel, the room was comfortable and well taken care of. The grounds were nice, and the surroundings were beautiful. It was within walking distance of restaurants, so we had not trouble finding a place for our supper. We had an adequate breakfast at the hotel.

I have always been a fan of the BW Antlers, the rooms are spacious and yet cozy and the location is terrific. But still.. what's the deal with towels? Small - tiny even, cheap, and scratchy, totally used up. For the money, it feels like they're scrimping on something that everyone uses. We were in Glenwood Springs for one night, and decided to come back to again, but we opted out of the Antlers. The value just isn't there any more. They need to either elevate the amenities or lower the price.

My wife and I stayed here May 13th. Comfortable stay. Not too busy, probably do to price. The 2 queen bed room was on ground floor as requested. We travel with a small dog. Fridge and microwave in the room. Its a large property with multiple buildings, some of which are under renovation, but being a weekend, we didn't have any disturbances.

Very nice hotel near Hot Springs. Rooms very clean and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and had a variety of breakfast items. Good location. Walking distances to pool and restaurants and downtown shops.

We recently stayed at this hotel on our way back from a mini-vacation in Moab. The room was large, had a very comfortable king-sized bed, and very nice shower. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast hostess was very friendly and efficient. The location was very good and close to downtown and the hot springs. Overall, the property was very well maintained and we will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. They are currently remodeling some portions of the property but we stayed on a Saturday night and thus there was no work going on.

Appeared to have been nice hotel at one time, but not being well maintained. Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Shower temperature varied during each shower, and there were earwig bugs found in the bathroom. A very small refrigerator was directly on the floor so the door dragged the carpet when opened and closed. The refrigerator had not been cleaned. It was a distance from room to lobby breakfast buffet, which was nice with friendly staff at the reception desk. It's shame, but this placed lost its appeal.

Hotel is undergoing renovations in some sections, but we did not spend much time in the hotel and did not experience any inconvenience. Maybe partly because we were staying over the weekend. Beds and bedding were comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Two queen room upstairs in Moose Lodge was very spacious, tall and beautiful wood beam ceiling. There are multiple buildings, call to ask which ones you may prefer. A good view of and a short walk to the gondola. A rather short walk to the Glenwood Springs. We also walked to the other side of the highway/river to downtown for food and walks. Nice trees/flowers outside. Breakfast had a variety of items. Kids (5 and 7 year olds) had a blast and rated it 9.9 :). The pool was closed and we did not use the hot tub. Although we paid a discount rate by booking via Expedia, the standard rate of $150+tax seemed a bit high for this hotel for this time of the year. At this rate, I would expect thick towels and better bed linen. It worked for us very well though. The only other good alternative large hotel we saw in town was Hotel Denver. There may be some good small places on the river bank.

I thought this was more worth my money than staying at the Hotel Denver. Rooms were much nicer and newer and it has a pool and hot tub. Plus the room has a fridge, you can park close to your room, and you get a decent breakfast.

I really like the location. It is conveniently located to Iron Mountain Hot Springs, and Glenwood Adventure Park. You can easily walk over the bridge into town. The breakfast has many great choices. I thought it was a bit pricey for the time of year. I had checked earlier in the week, and the room was $96.25, by the time I made the actual reservation on Thursday, it doubled. Seemed bizarre for that time frame. I inquired at the desk about this, but they said they were heading to peak season.

Stayed in freshly updated room. Poll area also redone. They are remodeling one building at a time. New and tile woodwork is very nice, especially the hot tub room. Have used this hotel for over 25 years and it is really nice with great staff.

This hotel is one of the best in Glenwood. While some of the others are getting run down the staff and owners at this hotel are making improvements to make the hotel better. This is my first choice especially for a summer stay in Glenwood

The hotel is on the main road, which gives it an exposed feel, but does mean that the views are stunning. There were renovations going on, which we weren't forewarned about, which was annoying, but the noise levels were not an issue. The room was spacious, but dated and dark. There was also a large bug on my bed when I arrived, but I did not see any other bugs during the rest of my stay. When we arrived we enquired about the hanging lake trail. The staff member we asked knew very little about it. The taxi companies as well as staff at the hotel discouraged us from doing the trail, so we decided not to go. We now regret this decision. If you want to do the trail rent a car! We had very large suitcases as we had been travelling to various destinations, however when we arrived we were not helped with our bags, there was no lift and we had to go up 2 flights of stairs. We were also not provided with the code for the wifi, so had to call the reception. The wifi connection was awful and would stop working every couple of minutes. Sandy was an incredibly helpful and friendly staff member. We really valued her insight. The breakfast was also fantastic, as it offered a bit of everything you could wish for. The hotel is good value for money.

We stayed here two nights, on the way to UT and on the way back. Room was decently clean, but not the best. Mattresses were horrible. Though we were told they are slowly renovating so let's hope they get new ones. Water pressure is nonexistent, lowest of just about any hotel we've stayed in. We were there in the winter so can't speak about pools, etc. And, we did not have the continental breakfast. Staff was friendly. If you need something, though, you will have to go get it yourself, they bring nothing to the room (we needed additional towels). Located a very short walk to the gondola in Glenwood. Walk into old town main street or the hot springs is a bit longer but doable, though through heavy traffic areas.

From the start, it was an easy check in and stay. Located in a residential area and surrounded by beautiful trees. The room was spotless with contemporary decor. Nice playground for kids. Very quiet and safe. Breakfast was quite a bit more than continental as advertised. It was substantial and fresh. Coffee very good. Quick walk over to hot springs and downtown. Wonderfully friendly and competent staff. Added bonus: great yard for dog walking. Will stay here again.

Sleep on a hammock and rest your head on a beach ball. Albeit, this property is undergoing renovations that was not the case with the room we recieved, second floor of the Moose Lodge. I could literally feel the springs in the mattress that I am pretty sure was manufactured sometime during the Nixon administration. Also those cutesy little half pillows were all way too large for any normal person's comfort. Like trying to rest your head on a beach ball. The furnace was so noisy as it cycled on and off I eventually had to turn it off after being woke up by it three or four times, later got woke up by our neighbors coming home from the bar about 1 a.m. The room was tired, the shower water temp required constant adjusting as it was unable to maintain a constant temp, and the vanity sink took a long time to drain. Upside, check in was quick and pleasant. Breakfast presented a nice display of the usual carbs and sugar as well as eggs and sausage. Plenty of seating room for breakfast and a decent cup of coffee.

Overall this place is great; beds comfortable, rooms clean, location fantastic, hot tub very pleasant, and breakfast adequate. My only comment is that the WiFi is quite slow and I wasn't able to watch Netflix (which is not a huge problem but some people may need fast internet for work reasons). I would stay here again.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel is in the process of renovating and we were given an older room. Chairs and walls were worn. I recommend it is enough for overnight. Breakfast was decent. View is great.

I have been going to Antlers Best Western for many years and it keeps getting better and better. The improvements to the motel are nice but the staff makes the over all experience memorable. Sandy at the front desk was so welcoming and made me feel happy to be returning! Looking forward to the next visit!

The accommodations at this hotel are consistently great. Sandy at the front desk was very helpful, attentive and welcoming. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the man on the evening shift. When I inquired where I could get some ice, he pointed towards the back of the lobby and said the machine was just past the swinging doors. The room was pitch black and I couldn't believe it when he didn't bother to turn on the light for me. On a brighter note, when I brought my bucket down the following morning, Sandy was more than happy to fill it up for me. Attitude is everything in hospitality!

I've been to the Antlers Hotel about six times. It was really good the first time. New owners bought it, and are constantly upgrading everything; the free breakfast, new pool, new year round hot tub that is large, comfortable, and so easily available, great employees, improving the grounds with great private outdoor fire places with chairs. And, they are remodeling every single hotel room at a very high quality level. Plus the dining area has been expanded and upgraded. And, last but not least, the prices are very affordable. The location is very close to two different hot springs locations, and to downtown Glenwood that has great restaurants.

Awesome rooms and great customer service. I always enjoy the great breakfast at Best Western hotels. The staff was super friendly. The view of the mountains was spectacular! I will stay there again when visiting my family!

This place was ok for most things needed on our short trip to Glenwood springs. Good sized room(we had three queen beds), fridge, microwave and tv's. Breakfast was pretty standard and when they say it stops at 9:30 am they mean it! Doesn't matter that people are still there eating. Anyway, this review is more about the lack of help we got from the front desk at night. He was lethargic and not friendly at all. We had to get a few extra things for our room and it was like pulling teeth. At one point I needed a box of Kleenex and he said he wasn't able to get into the housecleaning closet so I had to take a box from the lobby. It may seem trivial but service really sets businesses apart these days so they need to update their staff 's attitudes while they are busy updating their decor.

You are greeted in your room with printed blather from the GM that they are remodeling so be patient. I imagine when they replace the plumbing, beds, lighting and furnishings it will be fine. I certainly hope they remove the red ants that were in our room.

Very clean and pleasant. Rooms were comfortable with good beds. The breakfast was more than adequate. It is a close walk to the downtown area and the hot springs pool. Roms include a microwave so leftovers from resturants can be heated.

We always stay at this hotel when we come to Glenwood Springs. It's just a couple of minutes drive from the Hot Springs Pool so very convenient. The hotel setting is very nice, rooms are warm and inviting. Breakfast is the usual fare, but fresh.

Always a good place to stay when we go to Glenwood Springs. Breakfast was good and employees were friendly. Room needed some upgrades such as a new mattress and the sink was cracked. It was quiet and clean. The hot tub is always working! We have stayed there before and will stay again. Looks as though they are upgrading one building and maybe the rest in the future. Downtown is within walking distance as is other restaurants.

Spacious king bed room with large bathroom having 2 sinks with lots of counter space. Easy to walk to downtown Glenwood Springs, easy drive to Iron Horse hot springs. Decent breakfast. Room clean and no deodorant smell. We travel with 2 small dogs and last hotel in pricey Aspen had nasty deodorant smell. Good to know this was clean and not nasty smelling. Dogs don't necessarily make a mess just because they walk on all 4s. Some peoples shoes track in disgusting stuff to homes.

Wonderful facility. Great staff. Convenient location. I'll be back! I travel extensively for a living. This location was particularly chosen due to its location near the hot springs and related attractions. Best Western is always a first choice for me whenever availability exists. This location ranks very high on my list.

Very good location to the Hot Springs, Walking distance to Hot Springs. The hotel itself was not that clean or comfortable. I heard a lot of noises from outside and other units. Breakfast was average, nothing special.

The room was lovely and the staff is kind. Noise from our neighbors kept my partner up late on our one night to getaway from home and children ran past our room early waking us up. Limited tv channels and breakfast was a tad disappointing as there were not enough choices and the quality was not very good.

Thought this motel was well-located within Glenwood Springs, an easy 10-15 minute walk into the downtown area. Thought its physical layout was excellent, too. Offer free use of bicycles. Andrew was an outstanding check-in employee (and Aly, too). However, there were many minor annoyances, one of which was an excellent TV in the reception area but lousy TV in the rooms. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The room looked a little worn, overdue for remodeling. Consequently for me the room was a poor value or put another way, overpriced at $140 for a night's stay.

This was our third stay at Antlers in Glenwood Springs. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept and fit in well with the surroundings. Lots and lots of outdoor community spaces including BBQ pits, playgrounds, and horseshoes. Staff are all wonderful, from housekeeping to breakfast attendants to front desk - everyone is exceedingly pleasant and fun. Glenwood Springs is small but bustling, and Antlers has the best location - close to everything. Breakfast is typical hot breakfast, but the the lobby and dining area are nicely decorated and cozy, with ample seating and even an 8+ person round table under an iron chandelier. We've never stepped foot in the pool or hot tub, as there are more than a dozen hot springs resorts and natural unimproved springs within 2 to 45 minutes drive of the hotel. You can't beat the price for the quality and care in a resort town, especially give its proximity to Aspen.

We have stayed at Best Western Antlers for years and while it was always OK we were never really impressed. Staff has always been friendly and professional. Our recent stay was a very pleasant surprise as the rooms, lobby, grounds have all been upgraded and they have added two new fire pits on property. Thanks Antlers, we will be coming to stay more often.

Not allowed to use BW points after being told I could. Called directly to the hotel to book the trip, was told I would get 1 of 2 days free when I arrived. Called back twice before I arrived & was told I could do this. Manager advised I cannot do this after I arrived.

Thus hotel had only a few people staying at it the night we were there. The staff decided to put everyone side by side by side instead of spacing us out. The 2 girls in the room next to our room were up all night partying and selling drugs from their car. We called the front desk to report this at 11:00 and again at 1:30am and It was at 3:30 am that we FINALLY got the front desk to call the police. Terrible experience.....You plan your vacation all year and to have a night like this is unacceptable! The A/C was so loud that you had to turn up the volume on the T.V. every time the A/C came on. Then, when it shut off, the T.V. was blaring so loud that you had to turn the volume back down. The T.V. was so old that the picture was fuzzy on every channel....We would not stay at this hotel again even if the room was free.....

The microwave was broken and a light. They fixed them. The wifi was not working so the front desk clerk asked me to call the wifi service number on the card. It turned out I had to spend a half-hour reading IP and routing numbers to the wifi service provider. The clerk said they had to reboot the wifi for the whole property. Why didn't the hotel handle it? Why was that my job? When I asked the front desk clerk for an explanation, she suggested I leave a message with the property manager. I did, it has been 6 days and I have not heard back. I called and spoke to them twice. They suggested I leave another message. Today, I called and the front desk person said there was nothing she could do.

Great location even for walking to shops, restaurants, & fun. Clean room, comfort beds. Staff very helpful with directions & info on sights to see. Hotel has great amenities such as hot tub, pools, bicycles, fire pits, laundry, great full breakfast. We will be back.

The guest room was adequate. Relatively clean and well kept. Shower head was not working properly, but we reported that at checkout and the clerk was very receptive. Great hot breakfast including lots of variety. One minor annoyance: bath towels were barely adequate size for drying off.

Restful lodging in beautiful location. Staff friendly and helpful. Indoor sauna pool relaxing in the evening. Within walking distance of the Hot Springs as well as shopping and restaurants. Rooms always clean. Breakfast in morning decent and available during reasonable hours.

After having stayed at Best Western Antlers every now and then for forty years, I have to admit that it still offers some of the better lodging in Glenwood Springs. The old owners always cared for their travel guests and were courteous and helpful. The new owners who do a good job, have turned over Antlers to a management company which is efficient but lacks that old world family gemutlichkeit(warmth). For example, if you want a certain room, it isn't available. But, the grounds are nice. The pool always warm and wonderful. Antlers is locateds close to the main pool. Rooms are relatively nice with a old rustic look made of mountain logs. A big pricey.

We were on the road for over 12 hours and needed to find a familiar place to stay. Since we have stayed at the Antlers Hotel before, we stopped and were able to rent a room for the night. The room was clean, good bed, etc. Breakfast was also good, well presented and a big clean eating area. We have stayed at the Antlers before, and more than likely will stay again when in Glenwood Springs.

Antlers was a great place! Rooms were clean and well decorated with all the amenities one could ask for. Nice breakfast. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Construction work made it hard to get to the Antlers, but worth it.

The hotel was fairly clean and seemed well maintained. I did enjoy the several "fire pits" around the property. This property has more of a "Condo" type feel than a hotel. The service we received could only be described as excellent or better. Every interaction we had with any staff member was indeed quite pleasant. The were all very helpful and seemed to have genuine concern if they could offer assistance with anything. Thank you for the superior service!

On arrival we received a very friendly greeting and welcome at check-in, a good start to our 2 night stay, and were assigned a ground floor room with parking right outside our door. Very handy for unloading the car. Good sized room with TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Disappointingly, no fridge or microwave. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. An extra blanket was provided on request. Excellent wifi reception. Very effective heater/aircon. Very small cold bathroom. Good shower, excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. 2nd light switch in bathroom controls a heating bulb in the ceiling. It took us until day 2 to find this heater. Towels smaller than usual and rather thin. Breakfast was disappointing. We were advised there would be bacon and my husband was looking forward to a few delicious rashers of bacon and scrambled eggs. The bacon was actually a thin sliced 3 inch circle of pressed bacon/ham? Housekeeping did not service our room - another disappointment, although fresh towels were readily provided on request at reception. Overall, with no fridge, no microwave and no housekeeping service I felt this hotel was overpriced and not up to the usual standard we have come to expect from Best Western. We would not stay again.

This made a good base for our stay in Glenwood – and being on the north side of the river during the construction work on the new bridge was a huge bonus, believe us! It's walking distance to the Springs, Vapor Caves, Iron Springs, Gondola, restaurants and shops, as well as handy for the bike path. The room was a good size, and clean, but they could really do with investing in new towels – these were the smallest and thinnest we've encountered on our trips. The pool and fire pit areas were good too. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special (fresh fruit would be nice), while the bin lorry/garbage truck came around at 3.30am one morning, which we could have done without too. Overall, a good stay, and we'd go back.

Stayed one night in September 2017. A problem with the water supply meant there was no water in the morning when we checked out in the south side of the property. We were unable to flush the toilet, brush our teeth or take a shower. The staff on the front desk could not have cared less and were extremely uncommunicative. Having subsequently tried to express our disappointment privately to the General Manager, we've received no response a week later. While we appreciate sometimes these things happen and are beyond the control of hotel staff, the attitude and concern for minimising the impact on hotel guests is not. They do not seem to have any regard for their guests at all.

Very comfortable rooms, lobby, breakfast area, outside fire pit (!!!!) with plenty of chairs for our group. Nice large meeting area that we used in the evening. Very helpful staff members. Nice pool area. Will definitely be back.

We arrived at the hotel and were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. We requested rooms in a quiet location and we were given room 107 in the Caribou block which seemed great....quiet corner opposite the pool.???? The hotel is basically similar to Motel accommodation split between, I think, 4 blocks. Each block has two levels and the entrance to your room is directly from outside. The room itself and the bathroom could not be faulted as there was ample space and both rooms were spotlessly clean. The room had a good tv and A/C but did not have either a fridge or microwave oven. The plumbing system is very noisy or was in our room and next to the room there was a service room for the staff which was very noisy although not during the sleeping hours. The single king size bed was very comfortable and had great pillows. There were also plenty of lights in the room. There is an outside heated pool for adults a a smaller pool for kids together with a covered hot tub and lots of space to relax on the sun beds. There are a few dining places very close to the hotel and the Mexican right across the street is excellent. We were told by the receptionist that a 15 min walk across the river footbridge would take us to some very good restaurants but we did not test her knowledge as we were tired from our long journey. Driving to the restaurants was a major problem due to the major roadworks on the traffic bridge.....it was closed off! Breakfast is served and was the usual American style hotel breakfast. All in all a good place to stay one or two nights!

Personal pet peeve. If I book a room for 4 people, I expect 4 towels in the bathroom. There were not, and when I made a trip to the office, they gave me pool towels. The outlets were very loose, whatever was plugged in kept falling out. Wi-fi was spotty, as was the hot water. On the plus side, very nice bathroom area with 2 sinks, one in the bathroom and 1 outside. Very helpful with 3 people doing hair and make up.

Its a nice clean little place away from the Grand Ave construction. Across the street from Iron Mountain Hot Springs - maybe a 1/4 mile if that. Breakfast was a nice treat, didn't expect that. Eggs, ham, breads, fruit and yogurt with coffee/juice. Just enough to get into the day. Great staff and guests. Very friendly town and I fully relaxed. Mission accomplished.

On first glance we were very pleased. Friendly receptionist, great rustic atmosphere and nots of grounds with activities for families if you wanted to use them. We stayed in a king room and my parents in a queen. Both were well appointed, spacious and clean with comfy beds. Where it loses points is the noise. I get that whenever you stay at a motel/hotel that you can get inconsiderate guests, however that was not the case here - simply put we felt like we were sleeping in a tent! We could hear our neighbour cough, blow his nose and even pee! It's like the bathrooms were communal. EVERY sound expelled in them could be heard clear as day. Not to mention the fact that a truck turned up at 3:20am to empty all the glass and rubbish! I was hopeful for breakfast, but again it was just ok. This is the 8th hotel so far on our trip and by far the worst. Even when we stayed in a lodge on main road we had a better nights rest.

Great hotel with clean, comfortable, quiet room, ample variety at breakfast, very helpful staff, and a great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The wi-fi was fast and easy to access. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very close to Adventure Park, and lovely rooms (we were in a double-queen room in the building closest to the road, and still didn't hear anything.) The grounds alone are worth the price. But the breakfast was wonderful!

We wanted to tour Aspen and opted for the 50 mile ride from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. This hotel is very nice with spacious rooms, a good shower, comfy bed and easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast is typical of all Best Westerns. Construction in Glenwood Springs made it difficult to get around.

Beautiful, Park like Grounds. Up to date Rooms with retro Motor Inn feel- Just fells like Vacation, even if you have to work. Rooms are very quite, easily within walking distance to the Hot Spring and Downtown.

We didn't know anything about Glenwood Springs when we chose to stay there on a road trip through Colorado, but we enjoyed the Best Western Antlers enough that we made it a point to go back there later in our trip. Good breakfast, friendly staff, mediocre beds.

This motel was very clean and the staff was helpful about explaining how to get to the Spa of the Rockies, which was part of our reason for staying in Glenwood Springs. In addition to the regular breakfast items found at many hotels, Canadian bacon and scrambled eggs were provided. Both items were hot and a nice addition to the selection. Noise from the road and train were noticeable.
