    « "Airport hotel" that's a pain to get to »

    If you're getting a late flight forget about this place. I was left stranded at the airport and had to take a taxi to the Best Western hotel, that's some 3.5km's away from the terminal. The hotel itself is a bit shabby and the staff were totally disengaged when I arrived. They probably weren't expecting anyone past 11pm. I had to leave plenty of time in the morning to get the slow moving, overpriced shuttle to the airport again. An extra 30 mins I could have had in my totally charmless bedroom. I can report that with the extra hassle and cost of transfers, it's not worth the saving you get for staying at this clearly off-site budget chain hotel. Next time I'll try the Raddison that's walking distance from the terminal.

    I got a fantastic rate of 80euro for bed and breakfast. Room is small but clean, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Nice bar area in the evening but 10euros for a beer is typical for Norway. Regular shuttle bus for 70kroner. This hotel is at leat 100euro per night cheaper than Radisson or Park Inn and well worth the saving. Highly recommended by me as TA senior contributor

    I stayed here last minute. A bit cheaper than Oslo hotels. Nice lobby area. Had a bus to the airport so it was easy. Convenient for that early morning flight. Nothing around the hotel though to do, which is expected.

    I was traveling from Norway to Canada and I had 12 hrs layover in Oslo airport. I decided to book a room for one night and I found the most reasonable price in this Hotel. The room wasn't excellent but very good for short-term stay. Very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom could be cleaner but I didn't care too much. I had to leave the Hotel in 4:30 (because I had a flight on 6:30) but fortunately they start serving breakfast on 4:00 am which means you can eat before leaving even if you have to check out too early. The Staff were all very friendly and they spoke English well. There is a shuttle bus every 30 mins from airport to Hotel (and opposite direction) which costs 70 NOK each direction.

    I arrived for a signel night stopover in Oslo late in the evening. The hotel is located near the airport, but still so far away that you need a shuttle bus to get there - at a Norwegian price, which is high even for a Dane. The hotel seems slightly outdated - not worn, just not new and not in any way elegant or luxurious (which I guess is ok, considering the price). The breakfast was ok - DYI waffles and Norwegian mysost (brown cheese) was good, coffee and sausages not very memorable.

    This was my third stay in this hotel and this will be the first review I write about my stays. Generally the hotel is a bit worn and the rooms are amongst the smallest I have experienced around Gardermoen with one exception. My stays have generally been average and below average and this time my room was not ready when I 10PM(!!). The receptionist was friendly and helpful and I finally got a new room with Ok standard. Small and fairly clean with an OK bed. Not good, not bad but OK. The morning experience, however, ended up like most of my stays : The breakfast hall was so dark that it was nearly impossible to see the food and when I asked the waitress if we could turn up the lights she nodded, smiled and disappeared and the lights never changed. There were no info on what jams and yoghurt flavors there were, the waitress came in to the dining area carrying the bread with her bare hands placing it in the bread basket. Hygiene? The tables were a mess with no-one cleaning and when I tried to ask the waiter for cutlery and plates she did not understand what I was talking about. When I was checking out from the hotel, the girl in the reception did not arrive until after a few minutes waiting. She was not helpful with info regarding the bus and after payment she "could not" print the receipt I needed. After some complaining she finally printet my bill and suddenly, reluctantly, she was able to help me with info regarding the bus. I stay in this hotel because of work but I never choose this hotel for private travel. Price is amongst the lowest but the standard is too. I rather pay $20 extra for a better hotel with good beds, good breakfast and a service that is focused on the customer.

    I was in late and out early from this hotel so I didn't have a lot of time in the hotel. The bus transfer from the airport was quick . It cost 70NOK which seemed reasonable. The hotel also had an early bird breakfast which was very useful. The room was well equipped and the bed was comfy. The room heating was also good. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quick stop over.

    Hotel situated in neighborhood of Airport. Room clean and comfortable. Big Parking. I have seen bus driving customers to the Airport. I didn't use restaurant so I don't know anything about but breakfast was good.

    The hotel is close to the airport as you would expect. The staff are really friendly, and the lobby/bar/restaurant are quite welcoming. I was a bit surprised that I had to pay for the shuttle (140 NOK return) to use an airport hotel. The rooms are compact, but clean, quiet and functional. I had a twin and found the bed a bit small. I had a bar snack instead of dinner, and it was a quality product, and despite being in Norway (often accused of being expensive) was very reasonably priced. Breakfast is good, but almost feels like you sit in an oversized meeting room to eat it. Hot and cold food, as you would expect, plus Norweigen specialities. A good experience, but for one night.

    « Very Basic for the Price, but Clean and Tidy »

    Quite pricey for the standard of amenities, but very clean, with pleasant staff. A hot room with no air conditioning and tiny pillows. It seemed quite a struggle to get an extra pillow, and we had to open a window to bring the temperature down and therefore suffered from plane noise. Breakfast was good though, but it was again expensive to catch the shuttle to the airport.

    When we realized that Oslo's airport was a good hour from downtown, we decided to book a room here for our last night in Norway. It was a wise decision. We caught a shuttle from downtown (200 kroner) and spent an hour getting out to airport, where we had to catch another shuttle to the hotel (140 kroner). It was relatively early in the afternoon, so we had to wait until a room was ready. Fortunately, the hotel's lobby wifi was excellent and the room turned out to be quiet (despite the occasional jet takeoff), clean and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant had a limited but adequate dinner menu, and very friendly service. In the morning, breakfast was very good?the usual Scandinavian menu, enhanced with roasted potatoes. We checked out and caught the shuttle back to the airport with no fuss. The experience was good, and taught us something: if you're booked on an early-morning flight (especially when you're already sleep-deprived from jet lag), make sure to book yourself into an airport hotel the night before you leave.

    Booked in to hotel eventually although the lovely lady on reception was very good ! Came down to eat later apparently one chef so no room for us ? Ended up paying for the shuttle and ate at the airport !!!!! Breakfast was good waffles very nice !! Could do with bath and shower not just shower surely can't be a water shortage there ? Few niggles but all in all staff good chamber maids polite and friendly !

    The room was big and clean. Had good Internet. Large working desk. The breakfast was OK. Some noise from the Airport, but since there is no night flying at Gardermoen this was not a problem. Tip: Consider taxi from the airport if traveling in a group. Shuttle bus is 70 NOK per person. I found good prices on Amoma.

    I spent one night at this property in September of 2016 while flying between Copenhagen and Nurnberg. There is a frequent shuttle connecting the Hotel with the Airport and you are able to pay on-board via Credit Card. Check-in was quick and very professional, and the room is exactly what you would expect; clean, spacious and fully stocked! I left VERY early so am not able to comment on the breakfast. WIFI was steady and strong, (as well as free). Would definitely recommend.

    « A good hotel with excellent breakfast and public transit »

    It is very good hotel. Clean. The breakfast is nice - salmon, shrimp salad, etc. The nearest bus stop is within walking distance and the public transit matches the first class reputation of Norway. I would have given this hotel almost a full mark if a nasty problem had not occurred. There was a single dead fly on the floor when I opened my door (I have a photo to prove that if you request it.) The location was so conspicuous. How could that have been missed? My only conclusion is that my room was not vacuumed before I arrived. By the way, the pillows are not soft.

    This is the BEST hotel I stayed one night among the other 3 I stayed around the airport hotel. It was quiet and elegant, the breakfast had abundant food with delicate taste and the service was perfect. Every staff seemed to be well trained and ready to help you with your questions. I was very satisfied. The extra bed for the third person is from a sofa bed, so it is not as good as the normal bed but it is alright.

    Check in was good, the room was clean. However, customer service in the restaurant is HORRIBLE. Apparently asking for a single refill of water is an major inconvenience even with a grand total of 5 tables occupied. When leaving, there is a shuttle bus which takes all of 5 minutes. However, the charge is ~$10 per person. Most people who stay here (as opposed to the city of Oslo where there is much more to do) are catching flights, a shuttle bus should be standard. Nickel and diming is a bit much

    « Comfortable place close to Oslo Airport »

    This Hotel is very close to Oslo Gardemoen Airport, which makes this location ideal for those who are travelling and need a stop in Oslo. The hotel has a nice cosy atmosphere, as if in a much smaller hotel. The personnel at the reception is very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and quiet. The hotel offer an excellent breakfast, with lots of warm dishes even at 6 in the morning.

    This hotel is lovely. Everything is very clean and well-kept. The room was perfect for me. When I couldn't figure out how to connect to the wifi, the concierge was very gracious and showed me how to do it. I was able to take a long, hot shower and enjoy a good sleep during my 16 hour layover. The shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient, but you should know you have to buy a ticket - it's $8 one-way.

    Excellent place when in Gardermoen. I found this place because of a flight delay. It was a great surprise. The quality of the breakfast is very good. It is real close to the airport. The shuttle takes you there in minutes....

    It does not look or act as a hotel that wants returning visitors. Poor beds, poor and expensive food and a lousy breakfast that we could not eat. After three reminders that we needed a gluten free alternative (upon ordering the room, arriving in the evening and when arriving for breakfast) they did not deliver. Despite the cardboard hostess that promised a great and healthy breakfast. Stay away.

    We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were arriving in Oslo late at night. The hotel is standard Best Western with modern and clean rooms, though on the small side. The beds are comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK. The only issue if you're sensitive to smell (which I am) is the smell of fried breakfast that impregnates the lobby and corridors.

    The facilities in it self was not that bad and the service from the personnel was good. But the hotel room had a strong centralized air conditioning that could not be turned off or adjusted from the room. Not only did it keep me from sleeping most of the night, but I was sick for days afterwards. The dinner I had was quite poor, but it was just before the kitchen closed. Breakfast was ok.

    terrible value for money, terrible transportation to the hotel which is unreasonably expensive, and ran by a guy who is extremely rude; extremely old furniture in the rooms, not well taken care of hotel, very poor breakfast materials (the lower limits were stretched to prove that there could not be any worse breakfast given that the items to put there on breakfast table are so cheap).

    We booked this place last minute on and got a great rate. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean and normal sized for Norway (smallish, but ok). The bathroom was modern and nice. The breakfast buffet was complimentary and very good, though it was not well stocked when we were there.

    The hotel gives the usual good comfort of all Best Western Hotels in the world. Good breakfast, nice room, good wi-fi. Just 10 minutes from the airport by a dedicated bus. The inside restaurant does not propose a long list of plates, but they are well prepared. I will use it again if again in transit in Oslo.

    It was all we needed for a night before our flight. Clean room Comfortable bed, cozy comforters and pillows Adequate space, even in the shower Adequately equipped (good TV, kettle, 2 kinds of tea, coffee, soap/shampoo dispensers, enough towels) Quiet Very friendly personnel WIFI in the room We loved the breakfast buffet. So many options! On the negative side : there isn't much choice in terms of dinner menu.

    « Too expensive for bad services... »

    Been ther. For a night, cost me 150euros for a little room with the basic things inside, as well the breakfast was terrible and really limited. And a last thing was the personal, I think the manager of this place should really trained them ! They were really not polite and bored..... Also , if you want to take the bus to drop you to the airport it will cost you about 10euros for 5 min.....ridiculous !

    The charm of bestwestern and oslo was defentely not reflected in that hotel. However price was good value for money and location pretty quiet considering being next to airport. Simple room but with minimum required. Negative: no hotel shuttle or airport shuttle. Only private company running every 20 min. 70 nok for 3 min drive for 4 km is a real ripp off. Only credit cards or local currency nok. First time ever i have to pay shuttle to hotel.! No food service after 21:44. Little snack available but not much choice and again at oslo price€€€€€€. Good fast internet.

    70 Norwegian krohn for a shuttle each way to/from the airport. The room was great although the single room was a double bed with a single duvet which was a little odd. There was a kettle in the room which has been rare to find in most of Europe. Such a pleasant surprise but some milk would've been a great addition too - especially since the dairy industry is booming in Norway, it seems like it would be readily available. Overall, a pleasant stay and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Loved the muesli/cereal bar too!

    We just needed somewhere to stay for the night before flying out and this place fitted the bill. It was clean and the staff were polite. The room service menu was very limited with a 70 kroner room service fee (!) but there were snacks for purchase in the lobby. Breakfast was nice enough. Room was fine, pillows terrible but the bed was comfy. Taxi to airport was still around 260 kroner, but there is an airport shuttle leaving every twenty minutes run by hotel for 70kroner per person. All in all, an acceptable stay for what we were looking for, but relatively sterile in atmosphere.

    Efficient check in with, a bit weird receptionist who had problems to explain both me and the guest before me how thw busses and internet worked. + for open restaurant with small diches until 2230. Okay food, good service. Good location and transfer to airport, value for the money but a bit dirty, not the room but reception and restaurant.

    We got very big room for 5 people and it was very convenient for us in order to spend a night before an early flight breakfast served from 4:00AM , which is helpful. 3 min drive from the terminal and a gas station nearby for the rental car return.

    « One of the worst experiences »

    I've been accommodated in this hotel with two other friends for one night due to the long connection between our flights. We had a problem from the first minute; when we tried to check in and pay because we had dollars and euros cash not on a card and that represented a huge problem. With our money cash in our wallets we couldn't pay for our accommodation because they accepted just norwegian krone or card. After a dispute about how they should have specified this thing somewhere and how they are an airport hotel and more currencies should be accepted, we were told that in the morning someone else will come and they will see what they can do. We also have been told that we can go back to the airport to exchange the money - that meant around 70€ for the taxi again. We decided to see if we could solve it in the morning. The room was very disappointing also ! Inside was pretty cold, extremely small for 3 people with luggage and just two towels for 3 guests. In the morning we woke up early for the breakfast and for paying for our accommodation. The buffets were almost empty at 8:30 - and it was supposed to be closed at 10 - so we expected a lot of food to be there, at least in the early morning. No one did the refill for the buffets so we went back to our rooms as hungry as we came. I went to the reception to try to pay for our staying but the receptionist was not even listening! She was very rude explaining us that "things do not work this way" and if we have card, ok, if not we can't pay and that's all. I had to call back home, to put some more money on my credit card , so I could pay for our stay without losing another 70 € just to go to airport and to come back and pay. At the check out we asked for a taxi, with the mention that we have 5 luggage and we need something a bit bigger. We had a big surprise when a minivan for 14 people arrived ! I think that was kind of a bad joke, otherwise I can't explain what was she thinking about when she ordered such a car! The driver was really surprised too and asked us "where is the rest of the family?" Of course, this type of car had higher prices too. As a conclusion I do not recommend such a hotel! I noticed just minuses, but if u still decide to go make sure you have norwegian krone or money on your credit card; cash doesn't count! ??

    « Still wont refund me »

    I am not happy with the Best Western Oslo Airport Hotell. My husband, Travis Hoy, and I booked a room for the night of April 29th. We booked on and we could either book a cheaper room with two twin beds (not even actually the size of a twin) or a more expensive room that had one King bed. We opted for the more expensive room with one King bed. When we arrived to the hotel we were given room keys to a room with two twin beds. We went back to the receptionist and told her we actually booked a king room and even showed her our confirmation email that clearly said one King bed. She told us all of their king bedrooms are full but then offered to show us a room with a single bed that's a lot smaller than a king. Then she proceeded (this is after midnight, mind you) to take us to a room to show it to us and she grabbed the keys for a room that somebody was already sleeping in. Awkward. So that obviously didn't work out either. We told her we wanted to be refunded at least the price difference from the two twins to the king room. She said she couldn't do that for us but that her colleague who was coming in at 7am could and that she would definitely tell her colleague about our situation so we could get it resolved. When we we to talk to the colleague in the morning she said she had no idea what we were talking about, hadn't heard about our situation, and that she also could not give us a refund but to write our name and number and email down and she would have the NEXT person do it who was coming in at 3:00. Do you think we ever heard from the 3:00 person after getting the run around from the two before? Of course not. They did not deal with this situation in a professional manner. It was so frustrating. They told us that since we already paid the full price for a king room it was harder for them to refund us the difference. Of course it is, they already have our money, they don't want to give it back! We have yet to hear from anyone to resolve this issue.

    « It's nice »

    This is a pure airport hotel, it's ok for a night or two. Rooms are good, beds are so nice and soft. The staff is friendly. From the airport there's a shuffle bus that takes you to the place. The hotel is about 4,5 km from the airport close to a parking place. Taxi from this place doesn't really allow you the permanent rates from airport to wherever. Again, absolutely ok!

    The entrance and restaurant is nice enough, reception a bit slow because of problems with the computer. The room was simple naff, poor decor with a empty feel to it, the bed is rubbish, no support with naff cheap pillow make for poor nights sleep, along with no aircon in the room. Wouldn't stay again.

    OK hotel for staying transit / layover stays. Also good for organizations and smaller business meetings. Located near Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). Not within walking distance from OSL. 10 min. shuttle bus ride, needed. OK if you need the bare essentials; good shower, clean bed and something to eat.

    « Excelllent service, dissapointing room »

    We booked a Junior Suite because we have 3 lilttle kids. The room was spacious but unappeling, because of the colors and illumination we felt more like in a hospital room than in a hotel. I completely agree with the review that equals the Junior Suite to a Wheel Chair room. Breakfast had enough options to choose from, but taste was just adequate. What really bothered us was the low level of cleanliness, we found huge amounts of dust under the sofa that doubled as bed, we found recent shampoo stains on the wall, and the air filter on the ceiling was covered with lots of dust too. We travel a lot, and understand that is hard to keep room 100% clean and immaculate, but this time we had to complain. Normally one wants to return to the hotel room after a tiring day and relax, this was not our case. What we really liked from this property was the kindness and courtesy from the staff at the reception and the restaurant, they were very nice and helpful.

    « Junior suite = wheel chair room? »

    I booked a Junior suite but got a room specially made for wheel chair users. The interior was very simple, not what you would expect in a "suite". No curtain in the shower so a lot of splashing. Not a very cozy lighting in the room unless you turn off the light in the celing, but then it gets very dark. Curtains lets too much light in. Not much to hear from the aircrafts flying nearby, but you can hear people talk in the room next door. A big flat screen TV but no good reception. Working desk, free internet and a clean spacious room is all fine, but no "suite" feeling. Only one pillow per person. Change the desription to "family room"! On the day of departure it had been snowing one foot (30 cm) of snow and the guy clearing snow outside also helped us getting in to our car, very Nice thank you! OK breakfast buffet. Welcoming staff. A bit pricy it is on this location.

    One night stopover for a short business trip. First experience of Norway, prices in general are high, not the hotels fault! Otherwise, hotel was fairly busy, but all staff were friendly, room clean and warm. Food was good, breakfast was not Tommy personal liking, but that doesn't say there was anything actually wrong with it!

    « Sound hotel with the bare essentials. »

    This hotel is located off the airport area and as such you will need a shuttle. The shuttle is 70 NOK per way so that will increase the price by 140 of the otherwise reasonably priced hotel. The rooms has what a room needs - clean and tidy but do not expect excelsior standards - though that's not a problem since you most likely are in need of a place to sleep. Since there is not much else there you will not have problems with noise etc. The restaurant is actually very decent and has nice service and, considering the place, very nice food at OK prices. The breakfast is there, but hopefully you will not need to go a full day since it works mostly for topping off before moving on. All in all it is a nice place, the price is ok but the location is rather poor - if you are flying out.

    Stayed ovrnight before our flight back home. Nothing special about the hotel, it is close enought to the airport, shuttle rund every 20 mins, it's abit expensive to be honest, but handy. Restaurant and bar available, did not have dinner as prices were ridiculous. Service at the bar was nice, wine not so much :) As we travelled with children, the playroom was great, as rooms were relatively small. Also, we did not get all our rooms on time, had to wait over 30 min for cleaning to be done. Rooms itself were clean and nice, but all in all -- it 's good for a stopover and not meant for vacation :)

    Very disappointed. We booked this hotel so we would be close to the airport. We had to pay 70kr each to get to the hotel with the hotel's shuttle bus. Then, we were told, in order to go to Oslo's city centre, we had to take the shuttle and pay 70kr again to get to the airport and take another bus/train. Same thing when we came back to the hotel. The next day, when we were flying out, we paid another 70kr. We would of been better off paying a little extra for the Radisson Blue Hotel which is literally at the airport and is a much nicer hotel. Total for the shuttle bus: 280kr per person = 90$ Canadian for 2 persons... When you think it almost cost us the same price as the hotel room!

    Stayed just for 1 night (1 adult +1 kid 3 yo), close to the airport (about 5-7 min by bus). Simple and cosy, very nice room, it's not spacious, but has all nessesary, extremely clean, very god breakfast. Thanks a lot for nice staying!

    « Transferred to another hotel upon arrival »

    I had read on here that someone had been transferred to another hotel because of overbooking. However, I decided to still book this hotel for a night because Best Western answered that this was not standard procedure. Well guess what? I was transferred to a lower quality hotel upon arrival because of "technical issues". I was vaguely shown where the other hotel was and found myself walking around roads with no sidewalks by 0C weather at midnight... Two other people had been transferred that night. I checked the price of the new hotel (Gardermoen airport hotel) and the price of a room is a lot lower than the price of a room at Best Western. I'm disappointed to have paid for something that I didn't get. Do not book rooms in this hotel, overbooking seems to be standard procedure after all.

    We stayed for three nights on our way to USA. From the moment that we arrived in reception, at one in the morning we were made to feel at home. The huge reception hall was sparkling with a multitude of flickering candles. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. The room was beautifully furnished with everything that travellers need. Luxurious cotton sheets duvets and soft pillows ..we had four each, and a wonderful soft mattress.The breakfast was five star plus. Cereals and yogurt fruits cheeses smoked salmon and herring fried eggs and bacon potatoes ham and much more. The food is freshly cooked and exquisitely presented. Restaurant open until 10.00am,11.00 am on Sunday..nice touch.The hotel is immacutely clean and the staff in all departments can not do enough to help and always with a smile. Thank you Best Western, let the competition try and match that!

    Arrived at 10.30pm last night after 34 hour trip from Australia to find the hotel saying they were overbooked and that they had transferred my fully prepaid reservation to another property.Another guest checked in just after me and was given a room so I presume that the hotel was walking guests who had booked lower rates /oversold as they could get higher last minute rates The hotel I was transferred to was basically a 32 room guest house with no fitness facility,a room less than half the size of the standard rooms at the BW and a single bed about two-thirds the size of a regular single bed -it reminded me of a bed in a hostel from my younger days. If a hotel is going to overbook and walk a customer who has already paid for a room of a particular size and standard at a hotel with particular amenities then it is very poor service to move that customer to a lower quality hotel without standard amenities. Find an alternate hotel of equal or higher standard for the guest that you are inconveniencing. Compare the photos of the hotel they transferred me to those of the room I actually paid for on the BW website Not at all impressed with this property and very much doubt that the two reservations that I have prepaid for this hotel in the next two months will remain at this hotel.

    After 18 hours in the air I was hungry and tired. The food was surprisingly good and a good Italian wine suggested by a sweet Swedish waiter made my night! I slept like a dog on a good, but narrow bed, and was ready for my meeting the next day.

    Nice, clean rom, quiet athmosphere. Orderen a bottle of wine in the bar with two glasses. The wine was way too warm, and one of the glasses really dirty. Told the barkeeeper, who said he doubted that the wine was as warm as I said... No excuse or sorry for either the wine or the glass! We had dinner in the restaurant, two different courses, one meat and one fish, served with exactly the same kind of vegetables and not according to the menu. And the Chocolate fondant for dessert was served with cheap, vanilla ice cream instead of fruity sorbet as it said in the menu! When we asked the waiter he just said We don't have sorbet. No sorrrys, no excuses, no nothing! Sendt an email to the hotel almost a week ago about this, no response. My advise; stay away! Wining, dining and sleeping is expensive in Norway, a minimum of service should be provided for the money!!

    I stayed at the Best Western for 2 nights while transitting in and out of Oslo. Firstly I remember getting a good rate. Secondly it was a blessing since Lufthansa lost my luggage, and I was close enough to the airport to get there very early next morning to get it. As hotels go - it was good. Very friendly front desk staff. A comfortable room. And a good breakfast. Not over the top, but good enough when travelling. The coffee/ tea counter in the dining area was helpful as they dont have coffee makers in the rooms.As I got in late I didnt get to use wifi or any of the amenities.If you get in very late - eat at the airport & then get to the hotel. If you are leaving very early, its a partial breakker.Thats ok. Getting to and from the hotel too, was easy...bus No 33 from stop No 37...almost at arrivals exit. And the bus stops bang in front of the hotel. From the hotel it is every 20 mins from 4 am on.Thats the good news. The bad news is for those who want to make use of their half day in Oslo during the midnight sun days. You would have to go back to the airport and catch transport into the city & back the same way - via the airport. A bit tedious after a long flight. If there is an underground station close by, i wasnt told about it when I asked. i was told to take the bus. all in all, it is a good deal for transit passengers.

    Good price for a hotel in Norway. The full breakfast buffet (4:00 am partial, 6:00 am full) was good but not great. Lobby of the hotel was pleasant. Friendly and easy evening Check-in but morning receptionist did not speak English during Check-out so I couldn't get an answer about my bill until after 8am. (I had to leave at 7am) They charged me correctly though. Room was very clean but poor lighting in the bedroom area. However large bathroom had excellent lighting. Solo room had a small couch. Hotel located near the airport. Take Shuttle S33 at Platform B37 right outside Arrivals door. Pay 70NOK cash/credit on the bus. Purchase Shuttle ticket to Airport at the Hotel Desk to save time. Bus runs on time. From Airport to Hotel about 15 minutes - from hotel to airport about 7 minutes due to the order of the other hotel stops.
