« Comfy hotel with a pool and decent beers »

Comfortable hotel close to STMicroelectronics, only 2 minutes away by car. Set evening meal menus from 1930. Decent selection of beers and some blends and bourbons. In summer the outdoor pool is open. Indoor there is small gym and a sauna. Wifi for one gadget at a time. Comfortable bed and a quiet hotel. Not much around to do. There are some shops and a McDonald not very far away. For a night or two it works. If you stay longer I would go up to aix de provence.

« Getting worse, need to change managing style »

One year after my last review, things are getting worse. I'd been spending about 3 months in weekly chunks but still the hotel shows no maintenance and random housekeeping. Normal issues: towels don't get changed and so happens to bath detergents. Maintenance routine faults: leaking taps, shower does not stand on its hang rail, burnt bulbs don't get replaced, non working air conditioning, wifi with hiccups. Latest funny thing: first day, open the fridge door ad water splashes on the floor: dry it all up and tell the front desk to fix it; last of 4 days, open again, another splash! I hope the hotel management is checking TripAd sometimes: the hotel needs a change of direction. It is cozy, well placed, rooms are big, staff is ok but it feels like it's left to its fate, no care, no maintenance, low attention to good service. It will not pay in the long term. Must do something now

    « Clean and quiet »

Nice hotel. Clean and quiet. Parking is free. Lovely pool with outdoor eating area under the trees. Staff very pleasant. The drive to town is about 15 min. Lots of traffic to deal with in town but many parking lots available near center.

« Good food and comfy bed, remember to bring your swimming gear »

Good local hotel if you are visit STMicroelectronics, 2 minutes away. Comfy bed good food and decent internet connection. Not too much to do around here but if weather is on your side bring your swimming gear since they got a pool and and old proper flipper machine and a small pool table.

« great value, amazing dinner »

Good hotel, very comfortable bed and it looked clean and fresh. Toilet and bathroom ok too. I had complimentary breakfast part of the room rate and it was good too though I cannot comment on the hot choices, as I usually go for cereals and croissant only. I also had dinner there upon arrival. Even if I had not reserved a table, I was welcomed and the staff did manage to find a seat for me. I had the octopus with rise and it was just amazing, so tasty and soft. A 5***** preparation! The dinner cost was astonishingly good too, just 18EUR for salad plus main course. Minor negative is that the laminated wood flooring had two or three damages that gave an overall look of lack of maintenance. Really minor though. Free wifi and free parking are offered, there is also a gym area with an outdoor pool and a small sauna as well. I would definitely go there again next time in the area.

« Looks old fashion and not well maintained »

the surrounding of the hotel is not pretty (industrial area) and the building seems dirty and used. The room was correct the breakfast was medium ; I've had to ask 3 times to have scrambled eggs, to wait for 10 or 15 minutes to get them, and at the end, the eggs were cold (probably not prepared in live).

    « Lovely hotel - no complaints! »

After the usual long haul from the north, we eventually navigated Lyon and arrived at this hotel. Slightly tricky to find - use your sat nav or Siri. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel isn't close to anything so we went for an evening meal in the restaurant. Food was actually really really good! Ordered the steak and I couldn't fault it. All credit to the poor waitress who was running the hotel almost single handedly!! Breakfast was superb with a good choice of things. Many thanks - 5??

« Average quality, no surprises »

I'm used to stay at this hotel for business since it opened up years ago. Not much has changed since then; the rooms are spacious and fairly clean and so is the bathroom. Sometimes you might have troubles with the shower (no shower hanger, ripped curtain, water too hot or too cold or too few..), but after all is pretty ok. Breakfast food is reasonable but it is ALWAYS (I really mean it) the same, nothing new in years. I rarely had a meal at the restaurant so I cannot judge it. All in all a fairly good starting point if you're planning your wandering in Provence.

« Perfect services for your money »

We found the hotel as a cheap stay in overcrouded hot summer Provence and we were pleasantly suprised by the services, clean and spacy modern room, quiet air-condition, the presence of the free swimming pool, sufficient wifi internet speed. The only drawback - the breakfast buffet (6.30 to 10.30) could be better - at 9.45 AM there was really nothing to eat - so don´t sleeep too long!

    « A Nisic Hotel with a Great Dinner »

This is an older buy still comfortable hotel. The best part of the stay was a really nice dinner. The food was was above pat and the waitress cute, helpful, and nice. One improvement they could easily do is to have an English translation of their daily menu available.

    « OK business hotel »

OK hotel for business travel. Conveniently located to may local businesses. Hotel is clean. Facility condition is average. Staffs are nice but speak limited English. The hotel is not lively in day or night.

    « new staff - old problems »

this time not acceptable, defect lights very dark, cold and not helpful staff. this is best way to push the customers out. I cannot understand why they cannot learn from the problems in the past. At this time it is a shame for this hotel. Normally Best Western is much more better

« too much internal problems »

too much owner change, 1 person on reception desk was realy proffesionel, second person cannot speak english, no manager available, room poor , electric light mot ok, by using the bed light one broken, one damaged. for this price is this hotel too expensive. Given promises are not not present on arrival and also by asking severl times during stay. Other BestWestern at Aix en Provence are more clean, better rooms and cheaper, waiting for reaction from manager
