Best Western Village Inn

Clean hotel. King bed comfortable. Room clean. Hotel is dated but served our purposes. Good value. Breakfast ok. There is a Dennys right next door. Friendly staff. Great for 1 night. Quiet area. Too cold to use outdoor pool as it's not heated.

Very clean, we had everything we needed. Room was a little tight with a king bed, but bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast very nice, plenty of selections. I would add some yogurt to the menu. There was a night security guard on duty 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Don't know if we should have been worried or not.

It was great stay. Staff is wonderful and Sheryl is great. Rooms are big and very clean. Breakfast was awesome. When I went into check inn , Sheryl made me laugh a lot and made my day. This hotel had security petrol at night . So slept very peacefully.

Enjoyed my stay here the staff was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival, showed me how to get to room from the map, the room was nice and clean and spacious, the hallways and outside was also clean. Breakfast was good in the morning with many of options to chose from waffles, cereal, yogurt, eggs, etc… will come back and recommend to family and friends

We had dinner and then opted to stay in and watch movies instead of going out to a movie. The property was nice and quiet, and the room was cozy and comfortable. They're hot breakfast was tasty and fresh. They had sausage, eggs, hot waffles, cereal, juices, yogurts, and the like. They also have plenty of space to sit while eating breakfast and had a new station on. This location is also right next to a Denny's, so we were able to have a 3:00 a.m. cheeseburger that was super delicious. The hotel has security personnel and has cameras on the property.

Hotel it self was fine. Nice clean room, bed and pillows were comfy . Check in was pleasant , breakfast area was clean and well stocked. My only complaint was, it's not in a good area, kinda slummy. Would not feel comfortable going for a walk after dark. The parking area had several signs warning leaving anything of value in your car, and of course, the hotel is not responsible for any break-ins. There were more signs here than normal....... They have a short block wall surrounding most of the parking areas , easy to hop over, also very easy for them to add something to detour would be thieves. I noticed other hotels in the area having a roaming security guard. Not sure I would stay here again just for this reason. A problem they could easily resolve. BW should do better!

We were put in the wrong room and informed we had to move after we already hauled everything upstairs. Our cards to the new room were deactivated after breakfast, the receptionist had attitude when asked to reactivate them. The fridges in both rooms were broken (the first one didn't close so was on constantly and 75%+ completely filled with ice, the second one seemed to work because the light was on, but the fridge warmed up and ruined $50 worth of food and the freezer thawed my ice packs but stayed semi-cold). When I told the desk workers, I got no apology or compensation for my spoiled food, just an "oh no, that's a bummer, we'll replace the fridge" when I checked out. They deactivated our key cards after breakfast and gave me an attitude when I asked then to reactivate them. There was also stray cats and their feces all over the grounds. I won't be staying here again.

Easy access and hotel service was excellent. Would recommend for anyone going to Fresno! Only stayed one night on my way to Yuma. Had room on ground floor that was renovated. Breakfast had a good variety and selection and service was excellent!

Waffles, scrambled eggs, pork sausage, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy. Cold cereal. Coffee is weak and orange juice is watered down, but not bad for free breakfast. Professional team members.

We were driving from LA to Sam Fran and stopped at Best Wester Fresno. This place was perfect for us and we enjoyed the pool and the internet was great. We were paying a million bucks to stay in ‘good' hotels in Santa Monica and this place was BETTER than them and much more reasonably priced. Another nice thing was that they were trying to gouge you with extra costs constantly.

I stayed at the Best Western Village Inn this trip because I have always stayed there when in Fresno on business. The hotel rooms are always clean, the breakfast offered in the morning is always good with a lot of variety to choose from, and the staff are always friendly and pleasant to deal with.

I arrived in town around 1am or 2am after 48 hours of flight debacles and no luggage. Just needed a place to crash until I could sort it out in the morning. All of the hotels in the city were booked except this one, and 2 hotels uptown that wanted over $700 for a $200 room, so I stayed here. It was a 15-20 min drive from the airport. When I called, the receptionist said there were no rooms, so she grudgingly bumped someone else who hadn't shown yet. By the time I checked in, it was about 3:30am, so I'm hoping no one was roomless that night... The room was large for a 2 star room, had a mini fridge and TV on top of the dresser/ desk. Bathroom size was ok. Large counter. Shower tub with curtain. Hot water. Hotel was surprisingly quiet. Old A/C unit worked. Breakfast was good. Juice, coffee, muffins, eggs, bacon, cereal, waffle maker. Pool and patio area were large. Looked clean. CONs: A bit pricey for a 2 star motel in a somewhat seedy area. Below the average level of quality found in most motels in the Best Western chain. I'm surprised the reviews were so generous. Not a great location. Not the worst area of town, but homeless people sleeping on the motel stairs outside. A few drunks / druggies nearby, though none seemed to interact with the guests. Front desk night clerk was friendly on the phone, but oddly, not in person. The room was surface cleaned, but the carpet, drapes, and old wall A/C unit were musty, dusty, and dirty. The A/C unit was loud and rattled. The bed had clean sheets with old stains, and a mattress cover under the sheets that had probably never been washed. It was dirty with prickly specs of dirt, lint, and wood pieces..? all over it that actually poked through the bottom sheet and the towel I tried to sleep on. Room buildings are located behind the lobby building. No elevators. Breakfast area was small and crowded. Food and coffee were not replenished fast enough, though not from lack of effort by the sole employee working the breakfast area.

Nice rooms very clean and they have free breakfast. They staff was very friendly and professional. They got everything set up for my pretty quickly and in a timely manner. The rooms were also pretty nice and pillows were fluffy.

This facility had great reviews. Bed and bathroom was clean. Full breakfast and room prices were hard to beat. Being a Friday night, I think it was the other guests that put me off. I could do without the drinking and smoking.

We stayed here at the last minute on our way to Yosemite. We got a good deal for the stay and our room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to restaurants and amenities. Would stay again. Wasn't acknowledged as a Diamond Select member on check in or provided welcome waters but otherwise good stay.

This was nothing more then an overnight travel stay for us but the worst hotel experience ever. no ice, old mattress, noisy AC and don't get me started on the bathroom. find a different place to stay if possible.

Okay for a business traveler, as long as parking lots are secure. Lots of homeless people in area! Good freeway access and centrally located, but not a place to take a walk around the neighborhood. Area doesn't appear too safe.

Great service and clean rooms! :) happy with my stay. This was honestly the best experience I've had in a while. Loved my stay here, happy with the housekeeping ladies. Loved their breakfast. Great service overall.

Check-In wasn't as smooth as it used to be. Front Desk agent wasn't friendly & not welcoming! There was a huge bug in my room. Dinning area & tables weren't clean & the lady could use help. No lids for coffee cups.

I encourage others to spend an extra $30-50 extra to stay somewhere that is acceptable. Staff did not know where room was located. The various buildings in the complex had an unpleasant odor. Roaches were observed throughout property.

This was the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel in the last 6 months. It is alway clean and seems safe. The pool area is alway clean and a nice place to relax and sit by, Breakfast is always good.

A great place to stay with a friendly and accomodating staff. Room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. One staff member has been at this facility for a very long time and always greet me with a friendly hello by my first name. He impresses me as a great asset to the Best Western image.

It was a great comfortable stay for our family.Great location quite and safe. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Staff is very helpful. Off the freeway very convenient location to stay while in Fresno.

The rain caused leaks and staff was vaccuming hallways carpets at midnight. Drywall pieces everywhere and staff was not accomdating for breakfast we were 13 minutes late becuase we couldnt sleep the night before from all the noise

Been staying here off and on throughout the year for business. Friendly staff. Rooms need much more care and cleaning. There was a pit bull roaming the hallway on one trip. Staff said they couldn't do anything. Water pressure is bad. I come back because of location, breakfast, and seemingly ok price. But I am reconsidering. I like BW hotels and their service, but they need to make improvements to the quality of the hotel. Pool needs to be serviced.

This hotel I would not recommend. It's outdated has an Odor and it has roaches. Worst hotel experience ever‼️ I spoke to the staff and nothing was done about the accommodation. I left and stay elsewhere the remainder of my trip. It was definitely a disappointment

Best service ever Sheryl at front desk is awesome. They are so welcoming and the rooms are always neat and clean. It's a nice area with relaxing atmosphere and great breakfast . They are always on point with their coffee

From the time I checked in until the day I checked out of this hotel,the entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable . breakfast great. My time relaxing by the sparkling pool was very enjoyable. Fast internet was able to get my work done. I will be back for future stays.

I enjoyed my stay at the village inn. From the check in with Jacob to the outstanding breakfast. We enjoyed the pool as well because it was 110 degrees that day and the pool was nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again when I am back in town for work.

I witnessed a house keeper put a wallet she found in one of the rooms in her pocket I saw her clock out of work and get into a white pickup truck a few minutes later I witnessed her toss the same wallet out the window of that truck I don't kno but she should have gave that wallet to the front desk instead she took what was in it and tossed it .be careful of your belongings at the Blackstone and shields hotel her name was liz sandez bad employee.

I knew this would be a budget hotel, so I wasn't surprised when the rooms/building smelled like cigarettes (despite being non-smoking, I recognize that may not have always been the case and there can be a lingering smell). However, I was disappointed to find that the TV stand had a sticky substance with hair all over it, there was mildew on the shower curtain, mold behind the toilet, and hand towels that were not folded well (which made it hard to tell if they were actually clean or hung up by a previous guest). I ended up cutting my stay short because it felt unhygienic. The amenities were what you can expect from a budget hotel and nothing I would reduce the rating on. But the hygiene was a problem for me.

This stay was a major disappointment. The typical standards of a Best Western are not a priority here. The shower had a wad of hair on the wall. The drapes on the window were broken. The TV did not work. Our request to speak to management regarding a question about our bill went ignored, even after the Best Western company attempted to intervene. This is literally the worst- managed place I've ever stayed in.

The hotel showed little to no exterior security measures. Non-customers were loitering outside unsecured doors and and one exterior door was propped open with a rock. Upon entering our room the carpet was filthy. The refrigerator was not working. My wife called her son who lives there in Clovis and he arranged a room for us that night a Home2 Suites. There was no way we were going to stay at a disgusting, unsafe environment. We left our room key card on the TV stand and left. There were a couple of unknown strange people hanging out by the building's lobby doors when we took our luggage out who were obviously NOT your customers. I called Best Western Customer Service and informed them of my actions and canceled my next two days. I expect a refund on my one night stay. We used NO RESOURCES whatsoever, no bedding, no water, no towel, no free breakfast. NOTHING. I called the next morning and explained to the front desk that I had left the night before and the keycards were in the room. This is a sorry example of a Best Western. This property need a great deal of attention to even get close to Motel 6 standards. It is shameful and does not match posted online photos.

The hotel room was clean and nice. The pool was in good shape. The staff was very kind. But the area felt unsafe. There was a shooting a block away. Security patrols the parking lot at night though, so that was nice.

This was one of the best stays I've had in this area, no noise, Friendly Staff,and a full Breakfast. The swimming pool was clean. They are updating alot of stuff such as door security but with no inconvenience to the guests.

The room was nice. Shower was hot. We liked the fact that there were several pillows and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the fact that breakfast was available. I will always choose to have a waffle although there were several options to pick from. Staff member was busy checking to make sure everything was available for breakfast.

Room was clean...easy to get to..no complaints....its on a main drag....right next door to Denny's...stayed 3 days....only complaint was the sink was slow...would stay again....the people working were friendly and helpful....

Hotel is very rundown. Room was infested with silverfish. we were awake most of the night because of constant police sirens. Two stops were made right outside our window and we had flashing blue and red lights in the window for over an hour.

We stayed here because of it's location from Yosemite to SeKi NP. Staff were great and respectful. Breakfast was delicious. The room we stayed at was dated and dark even with the lamp shades provided. When arrived we found towels in the toilet. It probably fell from the rack just above the toilet. Under the bed were filthy and it looked like it haven't been cleaned or vacuumed for a while. We found dusts, candies, bread crumbs, empty water bottles, and even a bra. When my kids went swimming there was a poop in the pool. They felt disgusted so they had to take a long shower in our hotel. There were too many cats within the premises.

We stayed at the Best Western for one night. The front desk was unstaffed when we got there and we waited around for some time for the reception staff to return. When I called the motel number it just rang at the front desk - no-one but us there to answer it. That being said, when the receptionist did appear she was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful with our Best Western points card issue. our room only had one bedside table so my cup/books etc had to go on the floor. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The down side is the area. The location is accessible to the freeway/shopping etc but it's also close to tattoo parlours/dodgy bars and people just hanging around. I don't think that I would have stayed there if I had been on my own. The breakfast was fine - the usual eggs/sausage etc.

Significant security concerns for this property. Back door doesn't lock and everyone can just walk right into the hotel Frequently no one at the front desk. Rooms and bathrooms were unclean. This hotel does not deserve the Best Western name.

Good location, close to fwy and shopping, with food locations near by, clean rooms and reasonable prices..i recommend for people traveling threw fresno..plenty of parking, not to bad of area worth giving them a shot.

Our stay at the Best Western Village Inn is made that much better by the attentive and friendly staff, Jacob a the from office is wonderful. The location is perfect for getting around the Fresno area, a Denny's is next door as is McDonalds and other eateries. Plenty of parking and area to walk your fur babies.

While traveling through Fresno this Best Western is located at quite place surrounded by Denny's and McDonald. Guest room is clean and Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is really good with many choices. I would definitely come back.

This location is well situated for my business needs. The rooms are clean and there has been ample parking (so far). I really appreciate that BW gave me the govt. rate while the agri-business expo was going on, other "brands" quoted me up to $300 on their sites, this means a lot.

We been staying at this place for work 2 weeks out the month for the last year an well it all has to come to an end due to dishonest staff . I forgot my wallet in a drawer with cash . An well let's just say they did call me to inform that they had found my wallet . Upon arrival I was handed my wallet with no cash . Once confronting the guy at the front desk got nervous an tried to play it off as if that's how the cleaning lady gave it to him . Smh hope those 35 dollars were worth losing thousands in business.. protect your valuables don't leave them in the rooms as staff is dishonest … PS. To whom took the 35 enjoy share it with your coworkers you obviously need it more than we do ! Never staying here again Kiss our business goodbye ✌️

This sweet little hotel welcomes you with fresh paint and nicely trimmed mature landscaping. Check in and out was easy and welcoming. The pool is crystal clear and my room was immaculate. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Fresno!

The hotel was somewhat remodeled and the full breakfast was good, but the room was lacking. The beds were too bouncy, the towels too rough, the closet door was broken, the fridge made a loud high-pitched whine, the toilet paper dispenser kept falling out, and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Because of family-related travel, I try to stay in Best Western properties as much as I can. I may have pushed this too far, as an overnight stay in Fresno really tested my brand loyalty. I haven't stayed in Fresno in years, but next time, I'll stay in another hotel. This place is old and in a sketchy neighborhood. The hotel is old and the rooms have not seen an update in years. The check-in was nice, but no bottle of water was handed to me as usual. The room was dark and unwelcoming. A cabinet door had a broken handle. The wall had a thermostat that seemed to suggest that it operated the heater, but it didn't do a thing. The normal bath amenities were skimpy and the bath towels were small. The shower was nice and hot, but surprisingly, the sink had no hot water. Nothing like a morning shave with lukewarm water! The breakfast was sub-optimal for Best Western. Something resembling scrambles eggs were served along with bacon, but no potatoes, no yogurt. The staff was very nice, but I wouldn't stay here again.... and I'm surprised that this property still has a Best Western sign out front. It is not up to their standards.

First the positives - The location was good, there is a Denny's right next door, and they have a nice lobby. But that's it. The interior hallways reeked of stale marijuana smoke. The next morning, I could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway outside my room. Obviously the "no smoking" rule is not enforced at all. Just admit it - smoking is permitted! The people in the room next to mine partied all night long, not so loud to keep me awake, but I could hear the music and laughing each time I woke up and so it seems like a party hotel. And, then I slipped and fell while getting into the shower. Fortunately I didn't get hurt, but I've never slipped in the shower before. The tub was very slippery, like it was soapy, there was no mat and the grab bar was installed on the FAR side of the tub. Come on people! The grab bar should be installed so you can hold onto it as you enter the shower when you're standing on one foot! After smelling the cigarette smoke I could hardly wait to get out of there. The best part of my stay was eating at the Denny's next door.

Everything was poor: Linda, the receptionist said she never heard of AAA and I would not receive my points nor discount; the towels were dirty and threadbare; the food at breakfast was terrible; there was no hard boiled eggs nor separate containers of yogurt; coffee was watered down. The TV did not work and the phone system was broken.

Older, but well kept facility with reasonable rates. Very comfortable beds, and plenty of parking. A full, hot breakfast is provided, with all the standard fare. Lots of food & shopping nearby, & freeway close. Have & would stay here again.

I love this Best Western while visiting Yosemite National Park. We had a great stay. Friendly staff, amazing hot breakfast with many variety to choose from. Quite and safe for family travelers. Great sleep experience. Thank you Best Western Village Inn Fresno!

Great hotel for a couple night stay with family on the road. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Really close to the highway and is easy to get in and out and back on the highway. I would definitely stay here again next time we are going through Fresno.

The staff is super great and friendly, but area is a little ghetto. Bed and pillow quality not the best, but great breakfast. Broken latch lock on door, but no issues. Comparable to motel6 experience.

Best western always always has the best service. I travel a lot for work and they always accommodate me in the best way possible. I look forward to staying here every time I'm on the road and away from home.

Stayed one night here. Received little to no sleep. Our room faced the parking lot. Woke up at 1:43am to people yelling in the parking lot. Then woke up at 2:40am to a train nearby and then 3:40am to people yelling in the hallway. Woke up again to train going by. The only good thing was hot breakfast. However, people were loud there and a sign said to not take food to room. We ate and left.

I had made a reservation well in advance. When we arrived they did not have a clean room available. We were "upgraded" to a room with a TV that didn't work, a refrigerator that had a high pitched sound all night, a microwave with a broken door, a broken toilet paper holder, a hair dryer that didn't work, no desk. We were tired from traveling so went to sleep early - it was almost funny. Ladies at check in were less than professional. Young man at check out was efficient and friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, air cond worked, breakfast was good. The room was definitely not up to BW standards.

Everything was as advertised and I got what I paid for. The hotel is located close to restaurants. The hotel itself looks older on the outside than the rooms do on the inside. My only concern was that I couldn't turn off the AC fan no matter what I tried.

Even in summer of 2021, the hotel had a hearty breakfast. Rooms were quiet and set back from the busy street. A/C was strong, reasonable volume (when set to low fan) and could be adjusted and from the wall control. There was reassuring, visible security patrolling the hotel and parking lot when we arrived in the middle of the night. It was good that this hotel had interior hallways and dense plants outside the windows. Most hotels in the area at this price had exterior hallways. This is a good value for a bargain-priced hotel.

We were in town for 4 days for a softball tournament.. I asked every day for clean towels, they never had them. Needed toilet paper by the 3rd day. Asked twice and they “couldn't find any” so I had to go buy my own. Every time i went to the front desk the employees were either outside smoking, or in the back room on the phone. Several of the guest (we met at the pool) were living there full time and you could hear them screaming at each other over the tv and ac in our rooms. They were pet friendly which was great but the dog area was covered in dog poop that wasn't being picked up. The pool was full of dead cockroaches which was disgusting. Overall, paid way to much.

Great breakfast it was something to definitely come back for. If I was undecided on which hotel to pick the convenience of having a great breakfast every morning would be the decision maker to where I picked.

Staff was very helpful, personally walked us around the corner to show us where breakfast would be served in the morning. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Pool was closed, wasn't mentioned on their website, but COVID, not surprised...not their fault.

When we checked and got our key, upon opening the door, there was a person inside the room and the room was not cleaned yet. The second they gave us was dirty not vacuum, there are medication on the floor, there was mold on the ceiling and the wall behind the toilet tank has mold also. The ceiling and table lamp is not working.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful, super caring and check in was a breeze. The room was amazing for the price clean and well kept. Pretty quiet neighborhood; with lots of different food nearby.

Great location, nearby restaurants, close to freeway. Staff was very helpful, kind, and accommodating. Room was clean, and comfortable. The drinks and snacks vending machines were convenient. A couple of slight issues with remote not working and the lookout lens missing from the door (so there was just a hole in the door that I plugged with a tissue), other than that, it was great. I'd definitely stay here again.

Driving up to this location made me second think staying here. Hotel is dated, pool was not open and it was 100 degrees. I expected a lot of noise during the night-but I had the best nights sleep in 4 days. Hot complimentary breakfast was well laid out with plenty of options. Just make sure you take everything from your car, there are some questionable people driving by. Overall this was a surprisingly good experience.

Not happy with stay. Staff seem bothered. Felt dirty. Rooms smell. Towels/ sheets smell like mildew and have hair hanging. Complimentary soap is cheap and smells weird. Couldn't get new sheets. Sketchy property, didn't feel safe. Bed had huge dent in middle of mattress, left with back pain.

This is the worst hotel that I have been to and an incident happened where a tile of the roof fell on my husband exposed while in the bathroom so when incident was reported, the owner and front desk person never apologized for what happened to my husband and never made it an urgency to resolve the matter. We spoke to the front desk person of what will be done so she text the owner back and forth with no resolution and we were waiting forever and the owner refuse to call us on the phone. The owner text the front desk person to tell us that she will meet us at the hotel at 2:00 pm to resolve the issue and we show up at 2:00 pm and the owner never showed up. My family will NEVER stay at this hotel moving forward.

The neighborhood surrounding the hotel appears a bit sketchy, but the accommodations were great! The management and staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and quieter than more expensive hotels I've stayed in. There is only one way in and out of the hotel which makes it safe. It was very easy to drive to downtown venues from this hotel.

Hotel in a sketchy part of town with some clientele disrespectful, loud and police was called for one group for lack of payment of bill but customers were still there the next day. Mold in the bathroom around window and tub. No microwave in room. Heater/Ac very loud and never turned off. Security door had a broken lock which could allow anyone off the street to have access to our hallway outside our room. Most Best Western Hotels are clean and safe but I would not stay in this Hotel again.

They have bugs refused to do anything about I was told to talk to management no will be talking to a lawyer my girlfriend got bite which caused alllgieic reaction going to e.r. I want a refund if I don't here from management then it's not goid

Filthy dirty, very run down, dangerous neighborhood, rude staff, due to condition of hotel didn't stay there and was promised a full refund however they charged me anyway. Homeless people roaming the hotel.

Decent hotel, large interior rooms, pool (closed due to COVID), breakfast (to go bag also thanks to COVID). Not in the nicest part of town but there are restaurants within walking distance (Denny's, Popeye's, McDonald's, Salazar Mexican).

We pulled in late again and were pleasantly surprised to find a room available. Quite pleasant and helpful staff in spite of all the restrictions. One of the quietest places we've stayed lately. Easy and quick checkout.

This is one of the lesser Best Westerns I've been to. I would like to note that I did not personally stay here. I'm a Best Western Rewards member and had some family over. I arranged for them to stay here using my points. There wasn't any problem with that. I came over with them to check-in. It was pretty easy going for check-in but there was no acknowledgement of Rewards status or any thank you. I have been to a lot of Best Westerns and a lot of them ignore Rewards. I've experienced it so no biggie. The staff member at check-in was friendly but not very welcoming. The room that we received was OK. The room had a weird smell, probably cigarettes and mold, but so did the rest of the areas of the hotel. The bathroom sink had a few strands of hair which was weird. You would think the maids could have run some water in the sink and gotten rid of them easily. There were also streak marks all around the mirror. That made me question how clean the rest of the room really was. The couple who did stay here complained the room reeked and the smell became worse or noticeable as time went on.

My stay at the Best Western Village Inn in Fresno, California a was very pleasant experience. Check in and check out was very efficient and quick. The room was clean and well presented. I can't wait till the property starts serving hot breakfasts again, as they were always very good and tasty. Something to look forward to to start your day with.

Staff did not properly wear face covering yet guest are required to. They spoke around the plastic guard so that did not help. No real food service yet the prices still is high, they never adjusted for the food cost cuts or staff cuts. Better off staying elsewhere.

Upon check in we were assigned to a room that was not cleaned, everything was in a mess. The 2and room that we got have a wash basin that did not drain. Have to call twice for a maintenance person to show up. We were supposed to stay for 2 days but have to cancel the 2nd night coz of the bad experience.

I was working in the area and my business set me up for two nights. I had to leave on an emergency and forgot some important items inside my room. An employee by the name of Sergio went out of his way to ensure these items got shipped to me right away. It was a huge stress relief and I really appreciated the work and the location was nice as well. Great job guy!

I had so many changes during the time preceding our visit and Sheryl was so supportive. Even when we had to cancel due to the Coronavirus she was AMAZING! So very grateful for all the support and patience.

Given wrong room, wouldn't take coupon from Best Western, no typical Thank you for being a diamond nor thank you gift bag. Paper thin walls, housekeeping burst into room and bathroom at 9:45AM which was alarming given the dangerous area the hotel is in. Bad working shower with not water pressure.

DO NOT STAY HERE ...my Vehicle was Broke into in the broad daylight at approx 745 am (Fresno PD called it a smash and grab) the people I believe did this watched me put my things in the vehicle while my sister and I went back inside for 20 mins to have a hot breakfast they serve before going back to the Veterans hospital where our father was who had surgery the day before. Fresno PD said the particular area was “bad”. I did see many homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks directly across the street. AND the door on back side of the building that is suppose to be secure unless you have a guest key to enter the building, did not work!! I let the night desk person know about it at approx 1040 pm, the response, “yes there has been a problem with that door” sooo the hotel knew about it. I believe the 2 people who broke into my vehicle, had entered the building for the hot breakfast thru the unsecured door. My sister and I walked out behind them as they exited the building holding breakfast plates of food in their hands. I saw them get into a vehicle parked just outside the unsecured door. Then they watched us put our things into our vehicles. I asked the police to rewind the cameras to see exactly what happened and check the license plate of the vehicle the couple got into to confirm if they were even guests their since the hotel asked for license plate make and model at check in. the police officer told me according to the manager Randy, “unfortunately the cameras Do Not Record so there is no rewind capability, the cameras are deterrents, you can only see what is happening at the moment in time!!! DO NOT STAY HERE for your safety!!!! I stayed 1 night, checked in 1030 pm and checked out 810 am. Had my vehicle broke into, my property stolen, sprained my ankle just outside the lobby, the police cant rewind property cameras because the cameras don't record and the door that should be secure to keep out non-guests, isn't secure.

My daughters car was broken into in broad daylight. We were having breakfast. Security cards are used but devices are broken. Thieves came in back door ate breakfast & then waited in the parking lot for their victim. Busted our window & took her belongings. Cameras were not operating. Police were called & advised this location is not a safe place to stay. Oddly, this is the same motel Veteran's uses for traveling veterans waiting for medical care. I am a wife of a veteran, I stayed here because my husband was in the veterans hospital.

We got a free room through BW rewards. The problem is, they don't let you stay in the hotel if your choice in given area. Of 4, we were given the hotel in a busy downtown area. The biggest problem was the room was tiny. We had a king bed. Next time I'd get the 2 queens and see if the room is any larger. The remote was hinky. And make sure you get there by at least 9 to the breakfast (6-9:30). I got there at the end and everything had already been put away.

The hotel is conveniently located near coffee shops, shopping malls and several restaurants some within walking distance from the hotel. Parking is convenient and easy acess to the rooms from either end of the builsing. Clean, quiet hotel and easy access to rooms. For the price it is a great value of you are visiting the Fresno area

The place seemed just run down. The room was tiny and not attractive, like it had seen better days. The staff was not unfriendly, but I had to say "hello" several times before two people came out to check us in. It wasn't terrible, and we were there about 10 hours, but we would not stay there again.

We have landed in San Francisco in the afternoon and it took us 3 hours to get to Fresno. The hotel had a big room with comfortable beds. We have enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Ample parking on site.

I loved the experience at the Best Western Village Inn even tho I could not be there at the right time for the breakfast. The check in & check out was fast and easy. The people were all very friendly and professional. I had no problems or complaints. Plus, there is a Denny's right next to the hotel.

Was not sure about the area hotel was located however turned out well and felt better after seeing security walking the property . Complementary breakfast was very good, good variety of food. Room was very nice and clean. Was able to check in earlier than expected and easy check out. Everyone working that we spoke to was very nice and helpful. We will Consider stay at this location in the future.

I had a last minute work trip to Fresno and everywhere I looked was sold out including this property when I looked online. I called the property and Lucinda put me in a single Queen room that was available and perfectly met my neede

We were passing through Fresno on the way to the palm desert and stayed here for the night. We were tired and just wanted a place to stay or we may have looked for another hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful but the hotel is very dated and needs to be renovated. The breakfast was typical best western. The area also seems a bit sketchy, which the hotel can't control but it would keep us from staying there again.

Used to stay at a hotel on Barcus road. That area has now gone downhill and is not very secure. Found this hotel and decided to give it a try. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. You do need to drive by some down trodden areas but that is becoming common in all cities.

Older BW, still very well kept. Not all rooms have microwaves so be sure to specify at check-in. Excellent flat screen tv and lots of good Direttv channels for entertainment if you are stuck in your room. We had a room upstairs,215, no elevator. Very comfortable bed. Room has very few plug ins for charging your laptop, phone, etc. That should be addressed.

Very clean, Great amenities,great price,great location! We have stayed here every time we have a business trip. I only will come if I can stay at this particular Best Western. The only problem we had this time that was disappointing was the check in Male clerk was so rude and unfriendly. But I still will stay here again

When we entered the room it smelled of mold and mildew. Then my husband pulled back the covers on the bed and it had not been changed........disgusting! We called the front desk and were given another room. This one was not much better. I have over thirty "bites".............this has to tell you something. The area is very seedy at night. We walked to Denny's and this guy was removed from the restaurant and we saw him hanging around our hotel and he was later escorted off. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!

The rooms at this hotel are clean and the Wi-fi is excellent for streaming. The facility is split into three separate blocks which are all secure with breakfast being served next to reception. The location is close to the Interstate however is not in a nice part of town which becomes obvious when walking around the area - to the point security patrols overnight. Other food options include a Denny's next door and a McDonalds on the opposite side of the road.

We stayed here for 2 nights. When we checked in the gals at the front desk were incredibly kind. They placed us right by a door and vending machines but warned us that the door is set it to be an exit only door so we won't be enter through it. While bringing our things in we learned that wasn't true at all. The door isn't even locked!! Anyone can enter it. That left me feeling quite unsafe. We struggled getting our 2-year-old down and finally had her sleeping when they came and were banging thins around and refilling the vending machines...at 11:30 PM!!! This also happened the next night. Our first morning there we'd planned on sleeping in as we'd gotten there pretty late. That didn't happen because at 8 AM housekeeping knocked on our door and yelled asking if we needed any towels. Why would one do that to a family who just checked in (meaning it should be well-stocked) and at a hotel where checkout isn't until 12 PM?!!? We also had roaches in our room. I've read other reviews stating they had the same problem. I'd recommend fumigating as that will get rid of roaches. Other than the kind front desk gals, the only redeeming qualities of this hotel are the breakfast that is amazing and the small fridge/freezer in the room truly freezes things. I can say we will never be staying there again!

We live in Fresno and stayed for 2 weeks while getting part of our home remodeled. The rooms were nicely updated and the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. The full breakfast every morning was great. This is a very popular property for international travelers visiting our national parks. We especially loved the pool because of Fresno's hot summer days. This was truly our home away from home!

Nice hotel, easy access lots of parking. Receptionist tony was helpful with recommendations and the rest of the staff was generally pleasant. Comfy beds. Quite neighbors. Free breakfast! Company I work for uses best western when they send us around.

I checked into the hotel very nice interned my room nice, but when I went into the bathroom first thing I noticed was the tales they where thin seemed I they been there for years and at anytime just shread to pieces that included the pool tales. I have stayed in plenty of Best western with microwaves in the room had to walk to the front to get my food heated. Staff very friendly guess I am use to having every already in the room. All in all it was a good night will go back in the future.

Located in a convenient place near the mall. Rooms need to be updated with more power outlets to charge laptops, cell phones. Bed was sagging. Breakfast was good and and provided a good start for the day.

I rounded up a 3.5 star rating to 4 stars because the staff is very committed, courteous and helpful. They seem intent on making their hotel the best it can be. The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of parking near your room. Breakfast had variety and first time I've seen a yogurt dispenser - commendably cutting down on one of the worst offenders of single use plastics. The only minor negative was an old bathroom made to look new with slabs of granite placed around the shower. A reasonable and satisfying place to lay your head for a night or two.

Found this exact room hours after I booked it with BW for less on Expedia. They did not honor their guarantee. After a little googling I find that BW hardly if ever honors this. SCAM. I had 2 queen bed with kids and they only gave two towels for shower. ? Also still have cockroaches outside and in pool, same as last time I was here months ago(and had told them). Pros: room was clean, fridge was cold, everything worked. Nice A/C. A lot of options for breakfast. Quiet enough. Close to the zoo (which is why we picked it). However, I think next time will look for something else. I am to the point where I would be willing to drive a little extra to stay nicer place for same price or less. Mostly I am bothered by BW not honoring their low price guarantee.

I stayed here for two nights and would come back again. The beds are very comfortable and there are lots of pillows. The room came with free toiletries, iron/ironing board and hair dryer. We stayed in a two queen bed room. It smelled like someone may have smoked in our room which wasn't great but the smell dissipated. Everything was clean and in order. The staff was friendly and polite. The pool was great! It's summer in Fresno so it's HOOOOT. The pool was nice and cool and very comfortable, my son and husband loved it. I loved it too! The breakfast area was VERY clean!! The food was what you'd expect from a hot breakfast buffet (not gourmet but hot) but the staff was above and beyond. Cleared tables quickly, cleaning always, restocked food ASAP and did everything with a smile. The waffles were excellent and I ate an entire waffle (something I haven't done in a few years). Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here with my husband as a stop over on our road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Whole property very clean and well kept. Lady on check in very welcoming, room on ground floor 146 was good size and clean. Had a issue with air con control which was sorted in minutes. No bar or restaurant on site but plenty of options nearby. We had Mexican at Bobby Salazar's and dinner at Denny's right next door to hotel. Only down side was the noisy aircon, impossible to sleep with it on .

Rooms were nice - property was clean and kept up. Breakfast needed a bit of warmth as did the water in the shower but overall a very nice stay. Front office staff were all very nice and accommodating of allowing us to have a late check out

Found this large BW to be comfortable, staff friendly and location easy access to freeways. Price was very reasonable. It does need some updating, especially with the air conditioning system which is quite loud. Also, shortage of electrical plugs for electronics. Overall, would probably book here again when in area.

Great stay before my medical procedure. I always use best western. Always get great service and the staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are nice and the pool is always clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

It has all you may expect from a motel and that for a good price. On top of that the recepionists are very friendly and provided me with some good advice to have some fun in a relatively not-fun neighborhood of a not-to-much-fun city. The beergarden however a few blocks away can provide for a nice evening with flowers, beer and food. And the very best part is: you found a very economic way to have some luxery for a good price when visiting Sequoia National Park and Yosemite National Park.

Older property in an odd part of town but rooms were nice and good freeway connections. Full breakfast options. Just stayed one night each in and out of Yosemite and didn't use much of the property but would stay here again.

My only complaint is that one of the beds was too soft and Doggie quota on my floor was met so I couldn't bring my pet so ask in advance to reserve a doggy spot. Other than that the room was clean, quiet, and well stocked. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety and staff was friendly. Dining area was clean and spacious. There was a pool area and dog run. Plenty of parking. Restaurants and shopping close by. I would recommend staying here.

When I visit family in Fresno, I usually opt for this motel. Staff is always friendly and helpful./ Breakfast is good for the price. Rooms vary but are clean. The hotel is comparatively economical. I have stayed in many of the Fresno hotels and usually choose this one. Many homeless people in the somewhat sketchy neighborhood but they do not come into the fenced area around this hotel and parking, and I have never experienced any problems. I use the unheated pool when the Fresno heat kicks in.

We have stayed here for two nights. Room was fine and nicely equiped. We have tried also the pool, small but OK. Breakfast was very good, wide selection. I could recommend this hotel, everything was OK.

I will not be visiting this or any other best western hotel again. I do not feel safe if someone can come in to my locked room & steal things. I had a bad experience from the start your keys didn't work for our room 3 times a staff member let us in (when I guess he wasn't suppose to) he (Gustavo) then got in trouble by management. yours keys worked when they wanted to some for the building would work but then not for the door. I left my wallet that held my IPhone on the bed at about 2:00pm 4/6 & when I came back it was gone around 8:01pm 4/6. spoke to management and she states cameras(of cores)didn't work that day for some reason & that they didn't find any other key that was used(but we had so many keys made who really knows )as they worked when they wanted to. I'm discussed with this stay & the way that this issues was handle manager just keep saying we are not responsible for lost or stolen stuff. I will be filing a police report & tell anyone not to stay here

We arrived in the early evening after a tiring days drive and were utterly surprised at the quality of this older 70's style motel. Once you got past the lime green outside color, everything exceeded expectations. The front staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms had been recently renovated with new carpets, comfortable beds, up to date windows and secure access. High speed internet worked flawlessly and was easy to access. The rooms were quiet and dark and provided us with one of the best sleeps over the past several days of travelling. Equally amazing was the wonderful breakfast! Food was actually hot and tasty! There was a great selection of fruit, cereal, breads and muffins, and the little omelettes had ham, cheese and peppers! Things were being constantly refreshed and tables were being cleared. Well done, Best Western! It just goes to show that you can't always judge a hotel from its outside appearance.

Wow! If you're looking for an excellent experience in Fresno, this is the place. It's a little off the beaten path as the hotel is east of Hwy 99 by 4 miles, but it's worth the drive. And getting back on 99, especially south, is very easy. The hotel is located near several restaurants, shops and a large shopping mall. The room was clean and the staff is excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here while in town for a Funeral. I tried to take a shower but I couldn't turn it on. I used all of my strength but still I couldn't turn on the shower. My daughter had to stand in the shower and pull back with all of her weight to pull the shower on. Now I'm not a weakling but that's ridiculous. On the other had they did have a decent breakfast and the room was clean. We were only there for one night or I would have complained and had them move us to another room. I would stay here again.

A truly enjoyable stay. It started off with welcome kits that included Hershey bars, continued with great rooms with inside corridors, and finished with a truly outstanding breakfast. Highly recommended, we will stay here again.

Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and there was cockroaches in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, though they literally packed all things up at 10 am, people walked in confused. I would not stay here again, the room was also just very depressing.

If you want a hotel where nothing works this is the place for you. I have to admit the employees are very good and seem to genuinely care about your experience, but it seems the ownership doesn't believe in updating or making repairs. Basically nothing worked as you would expect it to. We mainly stay at Best Westerns when we travel, there is no way this should be a Best Western Motel.There are other, better BW options in Fresno.

Hotel is an excellent value based on price and quality of the hotel. I normally prefer to stay at a more upscale establishment but wanted a quick and easy stay in this circumstance. This hotel fit my needs exactly.

The staff is excellent. They really treat you like you are at a 5 star resort. I was always greeted with a smile and everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. We plan to use this hotel for many nights in the future as our business brings in more people on a regular basis. Thank you for great service.

Affable hotel where we'd be happy to stay again. Great ground with flowers and shrubs. Helpful staff. Comfort at each point. Beautiful breakfast. It wasn't offered just steak in a morning. Highly recommend for travelers!

Always like staying at Best Western. They are good place to stay and this one was one of the best I have stay at. Friendly people and room was very nice. Set up in bathroom was very good, love the window.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my wife, as a base to explore Yosemite and Sequoia national parks. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Food was pretty average BW fare. No real complaints. Disappointed that non environmentally friendly disposable plastic cutlery is used in the restaurant at breakfast times. Danny's restaurant located next door is good and gives a 10% discount to BW guests.

We stayed at Best Western Village Inn multiple times in September. While we had a large group of us staying at the property the front desk was able to check us in in no time, which is great. The property is very clean and well maintained. The staff was always Very attentive and friendly. We have also enjoyed the breakfast which is served at Best Western. The staff works very hard to keep buffet full, food hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you plan to visit Fresno or any of the National parks nearby.

We arrived about an hour early for checking and the lady at the front desk called the cleaning staff and ask if they could work on a room with a King bed right away. They did and we appreciated the extra mile everyone went for our benefit. This Best Western is a little older but well maintained. Our room was quite clean, the wifi was good and the breakfast choices are excellent. The breakfast room staff were quite busy but managed to keep everything filled.

Good value. Staff very helpful and professional. Could use a lot more electrical outlets. Lots of turns to get there to and from main highways. If you are looking for a modern up to date place to stay, this is not it. However, if you are just looking for a clean place to stay with a caring staff at a reasonable price, stay here.

A thoroughly decent place to stay in Fresno, and the breakfast coupon at the neighboring Denny's was a nice touch. Clean room, working fixtures and a good night's sleep. EZ off and on from freeway, and close to Yosemite, King's Cyn., and Sequoia Parks. Nearby Costco was also a plus for cheap gas!

Excellent facility, room very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Staff polite and accommodating. I stayed here while my home's plumbing underwent an unexpected major repair and I had to vacate for 3 days so chose to stay here. This motel is pleasant, quiet, up to date, and located in mid-Fresno at a very reasonable rate.

Decent for an overnight, GPS directions suck to get you in to the parking lot. Desk Staff was good breakfast staff didn't seam very pleasant. Property is made up of three 2 story buildings and not an elevator in sight. Lugging everything up the stairs gets old quickly. The neighborhood is one I would leave anything in the car.

WE stayed here last week 2 nights - hotel is decent - location is good, next to highway and near food places - no elevator..could be improved..this is the reason I don't give them the full 4th star - good pool, we used it both days..great for hot summer days - breakfast is good - Their lobby lacks information cards [those of nearby attractions]..not sure why - The lobby folks were helpful in getting to wi-fi. - I never felt unsafe here but one of the 2 entry doors..could be opened without key..something to fix/improve upon.

Nice enough place to stay, pretty standard best western, wouldn't say it's a great area to be in for more than an overnight. We were in the front of 3 buildings. Most staff very friendly. We were directed to one walking distance restaurant (although there are some chains as well). There is a shopping mall across the road by the look of it. Breakfast was disappointing- it was chaos. Food quality fairly much standard for a free inclusion, was quite busy when we got there but staff didn't seem to know what to do, at some stages seemed to be just hanging around. Things kept running out - and some took too long to be replaced and some only when we asked. Yoghurt machine not working and no container yoghurt supplied instead. Spot for cream cheese and eggs in fridge but none ever appeared. Bins overflowing. Staff banging pots around and looking annoyed. As we left breakfast area overhead staff complaining about being overworked and being asked to do things that aren't their job. Doesn't help that breakfast buffet is in a cramped corner. Later as we were checking out we could hear a loud conversation (behind a closed door) someone saying they do work hard. Like pretty much every hotel we've stayed in, minor plumbing problems (sink wouldn't drain, shower tap very difficult to switch on). And why are rooms in all hotels so dark? No USB power points.

Fresh and clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast including hot selections. Comfortable beds. Very limited selection of TV stations, no sports, mostly news. Secure pool in secluded location between two buildings.Dennys right next door is handy for something to eat when arriving too late for most restaurants.

I stayed here recently for 1 night. The room was a good size, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast includes a good range of options. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's a reasonable selection of places to eat in the vicinity of the hotel.

We found all modern amenities for the traveller in this nice hotel. Rooms are a nice size very comfortable and quiet, even the air conditioner didn't keep us awake most of the night like they do in some hotels. All staff we encountered were uniformly pleasant and helpful.

We arrived on a very hot afternoon after a full day in the sun. The desk clerk stopped wha she was doing and got cold bottles of water for each of us. She was friendly and helpful, and offered many dining recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent beds. Good WiFi. The breakfast room had three very cheerful attendants. Nice ladies with great smiles. They hustled to keep the room clean at a busy time. Good selection of dining options.

We stayed here for our trip to Yosemite. The hotel is clean and quiet, the bed (we had a king size) was very comfortable and the continental breakfasts were good! The hotel is very close to the mall where there are restaurants for lunch and/or dinner. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to go for dinner and for things to do in Fresno. It was a positive experience and we will definitely stay there on our next trip to Yosemite.

We pulled up to this last minute hotel and I could have cried. The area is not the best and the only people I could see where shouting at people only they could see. But we were tired and I had read some good reviews. We went to reception and staff were okay, if a little abrupt, there was also two dirty towels on the floor which had obviously been left there after it had been cleaned. We checked in and walked to our room. Now in honestly it was sort of clean. However the air conditioning was ridiculously loud and dusty (I know the units aren't usually quiet but this one was stupidly loud) the lights were dingy, half the tv channels didn't work and none of the bins had liners in them. The bed was clean the carpet wasn't. The bathroom was clean although there was a scum line around the toilet. It was surprisingly quiet even though the car park was full. I did sleep well and it was fine for one night. Would I stay there again - no.

First time to stay in Beat Western property and it was a great stay. Spacious room, clean, quite room, easy transaction with continental breakfast. Will stay in Best Western again without even thinking. They have Reasonable price to stay

the Hotel provide a good continental Breakfast and a clean room with a comfortable Bed also is located in nice a area close to Public transportation and good restaurants the bad thing is this is the only Best Western Hotel in the United States with no tv chanels for people of Spanish Speaking

This place was an unplanned, impulse stay, and therefore hard to find -- which was not the property's fault. Roadwork limited our walk to find somewhere to eat to the next-door Dennny's and a couple of Mexican restaurants several blocks away -- also not the property's fault. Otherwise, this was a standard ( = good) BW stay, in a comfortable, quiet room. The young man who checked us out made getting back on the road soooo much easier.

Who is doing these reviews? This hotel is in a lousy area. Upon entering lobby you see it is 1950's design updated to the 70's. No exercise room. Walk up stairs (no elevator) to room. Room very small. Old noisy AC. Old decor. Below average bed. I'll stop here before I try to use the bathroom. Bottom line, for the price the last 3 hotels I stayed at in Fresno were MUCH better.

We enjoyed our two nights at this Best Western property. We asked for a quiet room and received one. All rooms open off a central hallway, and only windows face outward toward surrounding streets. We did hear some noise from inconsiderate fellow guests, but I can't blame the hotel for that. Room was good-sized and very clean; bath was just fine. Check-in and -out was easy, and prices were good compared with other nearby hotels. I visit Fresno a few times a year and will stay here again.

A very good stay for a conference meeting, even for a light R/R visit, extremely friendly staff, getting around the city, it has good access to freeway and sites. The breakfast was very good and the parking is free alone with free wi-fi.

Hotel staff provided excellent service. Hotel was sufficient for the limited time it was used/needed (1 night). Heard all kind of rave reviews about the donut shop across the street form the hotel, Fresno Donuts had good service decent donuts.

There was hair in the bathtub upon arrival. To get the water in the shower to turn on you have to pull very, very hard on the handle. The TV did not have HBO at all even though there was a guide in the room indicating it should. When I called to say HBO did not work I was just told "huh well that's odd." They never offered to have someone take a look at it. Staff at this location did not even appear professional - shirts crinkled, headphones in one ear, not helpful with questions. I am surprised best western allows this to stay a best western. Sirens and people verbally fighting in the parking lot allowed for a completely sleepless night. Breakfast was OK but everything was way oversalted. For over $100 this place is a joke - do yourself a favor and try somewhere else. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Great pricing, location, clean and comfortable room. Hot breakfast daily and walking distance to everything. Maybe one down side is theobby closes at night therefore the business center is no longer available to guest...would like to see this changed.

I probably would not stay at this location again. I would instead travel the 15 extra minutes to the shaw Avenue location.

during christmas i was trip to fresno for community service.bestwestern hotel is best.This was a very enjoyable experience from the beginning to end. When I arrived at the hotel. emploees are very welcomeing. The employee very pleasant, helpful, offered ice water, and wanted me to know that if there was anything I needed just let the front desk know. I ordered room service and the food was excellent in flavor and was still hot. When it came time for me to leave the bill was put under my door and it was accurate. I took the shuttle back to the airport and again it was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

This is a Best Western regular but is extremely nice. Rooms were excellent and very clean and updated. Service was great. The Free Breakfast was very good with items replaced all the time. Great Coffee. Only drawback was no rack of brochures with things to do in area. You can enter from 2 sides so it was easy in and out (construction and traffic in area). Dennys restaurant next door with a walkway. Prices were great. Free parking and WiFi, coffee, fridge and microwave.

Outside broken..it banged all night in the stairwell next to my room. The security device on outside door next to my room was missing allowing anyone to enter unchallanged at nigjht. Addrrssed with manager..result unknown.

Very awesome and professional staff. Enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean, well stocked with towels and very easy to find. I highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Plus we got greeted with treats which added a special touch.

If you want to leave the hotel and walk around, don't! Every other building is a liquor store or smog store. There were many homeless camping right on the sidewalks. It's a shabby place and I have no idea why it got four stars. Fake reviews, I guess. The breakfast was okay, typical for free breakfast.

Good Central location to freeway access and other outlaying areas in Fresno. Convenient for getting in and out of the area and close to a good restaurant. I would recommend this location for anyone wishing to stay at a good hotel with great staff and service for a day or two day stay.

I booked at this location to attend a Funeral in Fresno. The hotel was easy to find and quite accommodating. There is security in the lot at night which was nice. I was able to easily check-in and found the room to be quite comfortable the breakfast was great. There was eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles and yogurt to start the day off right.

Took a quick trip to Fresno on Saturday brought my 11 month old baby, never been to Fresno so I wasn't to sure where to stay I'm so glad i read the reviews. Room was very clean which is a plus for me since I have my baby with me ,bed was very comfortable, quiet, great family friendly hotel. Good place to stay. Free breakfast and close to a variety restaurants and movie theater. Room was clean although the hot water handle in the shower was reversed so I was a little frustrated stepping into an ice cold shower. TV selection was limited and did not have Adult Swim- picky, I know. Fast check-in and out. Would stay again.

The hotel is really clean, and the staff is really friendly and efficient. Even though it is pet friendly, you could not tell in our room. However, smokers smoked right outside the hallway door - too close for me! But overall, a very nice stay.

Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to make my stay as pleasurable as possible. I would stay there again if I were to be in Fresno. The breakfast had a good selection and the internet worked very well.

We have stayed at the Village Inn at least once a year for the past ten years. We missed one year when we couldn't get reservations. It is conveniently located for our family visits and is clean and mostly quiet. We get tired of the usual BW fare for breakfast and got a hot tip from the clerk for a great breakfast place, The Train Depot. The rooms with king size beds do not have much room to spare, but we are gone most of the time anyhow

Chose Best Western Village Inn because it was close to the VA Medical Center where my son was having his leg amputated. I told the person who was checking me into my room. He was so very kind, and said that he would pray for for my son. That really touched my heart. Room was clean, quiet, and bed very comfortable. I appreciate the good breakfast served there. Good, warm and plenty to choose from. Even though it is located in the older part of Fresno, I felt safe and welcome. I would go there again, if the occasion arises.

This is a nice hotel local to many things in Fresno. It's a little hard to get in and out of, but there is adequate parking and easy to find a place to eat, or entertainment locally. just drive north on Blackstone Street and there is a nice indoor/outdoor mall with all kinds of restaurants and shopping. Movies too.

We just had an overnight stop here to rest up on our 3,000 mile road trip. We feel we got a good deal with these guys in that they delivered what they promised - comfort and food at a reasonable price. Would recommend if you're travelling through Fresno.

The area of this hotel is not the greatest and no security at the hotel. Transients walk through the parking lot. Upside is the great breakfast, best spread of items. If you are considering this hotel I would recommend staying up the road at the Shaw Rd. location near the college. It would be a safer area in general and more local eating options.

Well looked after and clean. Location is convenient but at the same time a bit of a rough neighbourhood. There was a good selection of breakfast items but the hot items were not hot at the time we went to breakfast.

The room was very relaxing and the beds were extremely comfortable. I will definitely book with best western again and will recommend to friends and family. We checked on at midnight which I was tired and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful for easy check in

Very friendly reception. There are three separate buildings in the hotel complex, and the common areas in my building were not as clean as I expected. The room itself was clean, large and tastefully decorated. The bathroom showed its age, and the sink had no water pressure at all. The breakfast is better than standard, but I opted to use the Dennys next door. The free wi-fi did not work at all, was very disappointed.

You can always count on the great service and quality of the facilities. I've stayed in a Best Western facility in Europe, Mexico and the USA and it's always consiconsistently a heat experience for me.

Room was immaculate, very pleasant. I expected minimal breakfasts but was surprised at how really good the breakfasts were, with impressive variety of well prepared food. I enjoyed my stay there. A/C was a little noisy but kept the room constantly comfortable.

Stayed here over the weekend. The hotel is a typical budget friendly hotel, nothing fancy, but the service was better that what I have received at high end hotels. I left a note for housekeeping with a special request, it was taken care of and they even left a note telling me to let them know if there was anything else I needed. And Jimmy, I can't say enough about one of their employees named Jimmy. Not sure what his job is because he does anything and everything that he can to make your stay a memorable one. For a short Fresno trip this is a great place to stay.

This wasn't a nice area I would recommend going about 6 miles away where there is many motels and restaurants in a nice area. I would never stay again toilet ran all night r bath sink didn't drain well. the king room was small and had the frig in the bathroom really ??? staff was helpful but there r better choices sorry to say for this motel

Like the hotel very much. Comfortable bed, cleaned bathroom, specious room. Only problem we had was the quality of internet in the morning. Could not sign in at all! Otherwise best hotel what you have paid for.

We loved everything about this hotel. Eco friendly but mostly we loved the staff. Very clean! From start to finish we had a great experience. The breakfast was the best on our trip. Real eggs, bacon, granola with almond slivers, we were shocked by the selection. We decided to stay an extra day and had to pool to ourselves the whole day.

Room was basic but clean and no pet odor. The beds were really comfortable. Friendly staff. The hot items (eggs, etc.) at the complimentary breakfast were marginal (but they had 3 waffle makers!). The rooms had been renovated sometime in the recent past, according to the marquee. The decor is very nice, the room was very clean and neatly decorated. The basics and internet service are in place to make a comfortable stay, including fridge. The two queen beds were comfortable, nicely made, and lots of pillows. No elevator service to second floor rooms. Hallways were clean. The breakfast was hot, tasty, and plentiful. The property is neatly landscaped, fenced in on three sides, large, includes a nice pool area. Adjacent to a Denny's in a neighborhood that has nothing else to offer for walking interests or dining...wait, unless you like donuts (across the street). Short drives to CSU Fresno, a mall is across the main street, easy access to freeway. The value is really good...my criteria were: a great rate for a clean, comfortable property, within easy drive of CSU Fresno. The staff are very professional, polite, and on-top of their jobs.

Good value for staying in Fresno during the peak summer months. Everything was nice and clean. Staff very professional. One tip for first timers: Make sure you get up early for the free breakfast (which is a full breakfast: waffles, bacon, eggs, etc.). Gets very crowded around 7:30-9:00 AM.

This is a very large hotel with lots of room and plenty of visitors. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great. Unfortunately there was a terribe stench in the room because it is in the "pet area". If you book this hotel, make sure to ask for a room that is not used for people with pets. Also the entire facility is a bit worn out and in need of refurbishment. Ironincally, the quality of the breakfast exceeded all my expectations.

Arrived a little late and had to book in through a night window, didnt make the area feel very safe, hotel is in 3 different buildings, breakfast was below par for a best western, we decided to eat at near by dennys, room was large enough with small beds, staff were not great nor much help, wouldn't stay here again. I stayed in the Best Western Village Inn, Fresno for one night in June 2017. The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming and staff were helpful and courteous. The bedrooms had all the required facilities, ie fridge, tea / coffee making facilities. There was free wifi available for guests. There was also a delicious complimentary ( free) breakfast.

Booked on spec in advance whilst back in the UK as a base to travel up to Yosemite as hotels in and around the park are expensive. Really pleased with our choice as it is a pleasant hotel. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful and quickly got us sorted with our rooms. The rooms themselves were very large and clean and represent good value. There is a buffet breakfast included in the price of a nights stay which sets you up for the morning.

Stayed there many times. It's $20-30 more a night than the Motel 6s down the block, but 500% nicer place and staff. When you factor in the things that Motel 6 charges separately for, yet Best Western gives for free, the price becomes a little closer. In any case, I will always stay here when I come to Fresno for business.

This hotel was recently remodeled and has a very nice set up inside. Our company is currently doing work in the Fresno area and the Village Inn is conveniently close to our job site.I appreciate the staff and their service.

We stayed here on the way from Yosemite to Death Valley for just 1 night. Rooms are a decent size and beds are comfortable and clean if somewhat dated. Linen and towels were decent quality. We had everything we needed and the complimentary breakfast was really nice. Free parking and Wifi is a bonus. We stayed on the ground floor and there is no sound proofing so I didn't sleep well due to road noise and people in the corridors late at night. The hotel is on a very busy road in an area that is not very interesting but there's a Denny's next door, a McDonalds across the road and a Starbucks along the street. There is a swimming pool but it was too cold to use it in April. Take ear plugs and I'm sure you'll have a pleasant stay.

On another road trip, and decided to stay here for the 2nd night out. Noting has really changed since the last time we were here. Still clean and comfortable. I do wish yo would get rid of the two chairs at the table in 117, (and probably the other rooms), and get chairs better suited for sitting at the table. When using a laptop, they get pretty uncomfortable. I do have one complaint. The fan on the A?C refused to come on when I set the wall thermostat. I called the front desk, and she asked the guy standing there about it. I assume he was the maintenance guy. Anyway, this character told her that the fans on all the units had been "shut off" to conserve energy. Which leaves the rooms with no ventilation. I told her that was a crock, and she agreed, so she called the boss, who pretty much told her what I already knew...that the thermostat controlled the unit. While she was talking to him, I found that the switch on the unit's plug (not the outlet) had been shut off. I turned it back on, and the fan worked just fine. It strikes me that someone in this conversation didn't want to be bothered, and blew smoke to dodge doing his job.

The Village Inn Best Western is a very clean and safe place to stay. The breakfast menu is unbelievable. They serve sausage eggs bacon cereal and a variety of pastries and muffins. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location with the Manchester Mall across the street and a Denny's next door. I highly recommend this place to everyone. They are pet friendly and offer family discounts and they have a pool.

We stopped in Fresno on our drive from San Diego to San Francisco. The stay at the hotel was pretty nice. It was clean, just had an older feel. We were advised the pool nor the jacuzzi were heated so that was a bit disappointing in the 50 degree weather. Was pleasantly surprised with the free breakfast. It's served from 6 or 6:30 until 9:30. I got there at about 8 and did some work on my laptop and had oatmeal a waffle some coffee and juice. There were a lot of options though and it never got too busy where I couldn't concentrate. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Not a fancy stay, but good for a night on the road.

I decided to stay in this hotel for work and figured it would be fine. Well the night I checked in the lady that did it seemed very happy to help me. After that however the staff seemed less interested. The wifi didn't work even after complaining twice and each time I got met with the same look like I was inconveniencing them. Even at check out the guy just gave me this quick look and gave me my receipt and bolted to the back room again.

This has got to be the BEST customer service hotel in Fresno. The entire staff make it a point to stop with the work duties to greet you every time you pass by. The beds are so awesome, We didn't want to get out of bed. The breakfast items are way beyond my expectations. Would stay here again.

We toured Yosemite and got in to this hotel late. Staff (Linda) was very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, yogurt, waffles, etc. The breakfast staff was wonderful, especially John. He came to our table and noticed the OJ in our glass was a little weak and said that we must have gotten the tiny bit that was left before he refilled it. He took our classes and refilled it with fresh OJ! I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place, people very friendly and helpful, rooms on the larger size, clean, good beds. A little out of the way but not that much, quite area. Places to eat near by. Complementary breakfast was very good, nice selection, good service and large enough area to seat everyone. I would stay here again when in the area.

I stayed here for five days on business and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is pet friendly and provided ample area for doggie walks. The location is convenient to many restaurants and shops. My room was spacious and clean with modest decor. My bed was very comfortable and made it a challenge to get out of! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The best part of my stay was the breakfast buffet! Tandra, who I spoke to every morning was a delight! She has such a lovely smile and just made me start off my morning happy! Besides that, she keep the breakfast area stocked with a variety of delicious dishes. When I back in town on business, I will stay here! Hopefully, Tandra will be there to make me smile!

May want to reconsider scheduling food delveries, noise woke me up, was woken up at 430 am, staff was helpful sand offered to let me have a late check out. Food selection for Breakfast. Would prefer real eggs over that constituted egg stuff

During my transition from my home being sold and trying to find another home, I stayed at the Best Western Village Inn Fresno, This is by far the most cleanest hotel on Blackstone avenue. The entire staff is very friendly and personable. Keep up the Great Job..

We booked this hotel based on the close location to a concert venue we were going to. The hotel was easy to get to, and the surrounding area was convenient with easy access to food and a Starbucks (always a plus). The beds were comfortable and overall the room was clean. The bathroom was a little dingy, but it wasn't anything worth a negative review or not staying at again. The breakfast was good, and there was plenty of food, even towards the time of breakfast ending. We would stay here again.

If you haven't got your own transport this hotel location appears to be in a bit of a run down location near an even more rundown shopping mall. Local restaurants that can be walked too, especially at night are very limited though there was a Denny's next door that was more than satisfactory with very helpful staff. The cooked breakfast at BWVillage Inn was very good with varied choices.

Very friendly front desk staff. They were accommodating on a special request to be closer to family in another room. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. One complaint, hot tub wouldn't get hot, or even warm. Otherwise, good stay for the money. Not perfection, but I would stay again if in town.

The lobby looked very nice, and the room was clean. The neighborhood seems rough, but I imagine that is a factor to the lower cost than the other Best Westerns in town. A helicopter circling overhead and someone (assuming it was someone in the helicopter) talking on a loudspeaker woke me up at midnight. I kept checking the window to make sure my truck was still safe outside (it was). Otherwise, the hotel itself was ok. I stayed in the first building, where the lobby is. No elevator, so be ready and able to carry your own stuff up stairs if you get a 2nd floor room. The walls between the rooms were thick enough and blocked sound well, but the door or wall to the hallway was too thin, so the sounds from the hallway or even the room across the hall were very loud. The breakfast selection is good with hot breakfast items, but they're all crammed in too small a space, making for long wait times to get the food you want.

Stayed here on 3 different occasions and it has been nice all of them. Friendly service clean and nice rooms, nice pool. Breakfast buffet is very good comparing to other hotels in this price range! Free parking, WiFi is not the best at night. Lots of food round the corner.

We stayed only two night but had a wonderful experience. The staff were cordial and friendly. The breakfast was pleasant with staff that greeted everyone and made sure food supply was ample, The hotel was clean and easily accessible to highways and many restaurants and shopping.

I have been staying at this Best Western at least 30 or more times in the last 4 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The Breakfast service is always excellent. I would not stay anywhere else in the area. It is an excellent value for your money.

I haven't been in Fresno in years. When i saw the location of the hotel I was concerned. Not the best neighborhood/a lot of transients. The hotel provided a nice staff, clean-up to date rooms and a security guard. My worries were put to rest. We had a nice quiet stay. Thank you.

The price was ok, the room was clean (although, I did see a few bugs - YUK). Not a great neighborhood, but you need a key to get into the buildings, so there's that. I didn't expect much for under $100, and that's pretty much what I got. We accidentally left my husband's shirt hanging in the closet. Called as soon as we realized (10:18 pm on the day we checked out). I was told it would be in the lost and found and that was locked up so we needed to call after 8am. My husband called just after 8am and was told to call back later. He called again around noon, and Richard told him he would call him back. Hearing nothing, my husband called again just before 2pm. At that time, Richard told him that they didn't find his shirt. So then I called and asked for the name of the manager and I was told it was Angela. I had Richard on the phone and he said he was just going to call my husband and let him know that he could call Angela and "maybe she can do something". I told him that I didn't understand why it is taking so many phone calls (this was call number FIVE) to locate a shirt. He told me that they didn't find the shirt or our hangers, and I told him that I wasn't concerned with the hangers, it was the over $40 Under Armour polo shirt that I wanted back. He said that it wasn't there and he didn't know what else to tell me. He said, "nobody here steals, I've been here for over 4 years..." and I told him that we didn't THINK we left the shirt, we KNOW we left it (because we both forgot to double check the closet before we left). So it's either still in the closet, or someone took it. He told me that he didn't need my attitude, so I asked him how I was supposed to reach Angela (the manager). He said that I just call the number I had just called (when I got him). I asked when she would be in, and he said that she was there, but she was outside with the pool guy. I asked him to take my number and have her call me back when she gets back in and he again told me that he didn't need my attitude. I told him that I just wanted to speak to the manager, and he said that he didn't have to put up with me. I asked him if I needed to call Best Western corporate and he said to call whoever I wanted, "go ahead!". So I have called Best Western and filed a formal complaint. I am told the manager should be calling me back, but I'm not holding my breath. UPDATE: MIRACULOUSLY, after I got off the phone with Richard (and while I was on the phone with Best Western customer care), Richard called my husband to tell him that they had finally located his shirt. HMMMMMMMM..... where was it that whole time??? When asked, Richard claimed that it wasn't in the room. My husband pointed out to me that not once was he asked what the shirt looked like (color, style etc) - although I did mention (phone call # 5) that it was an Under Armour shirt. We have someone going to pick up the shirt for us (since we obviously don't live there), hopefully we actually get it back. Bottom line is that while you will get a bed here, if you are looking for decent customer service, this place doesn't have it. FIVE phone calls to the hotel, ONE to BW Customer Care to file a complaint and finally ONE call received back from the hotel. I'd still like to speak to the manager, better yet whoever is in charge of this property.

Only stayed one night passing through with dogs, but overall good quality for the price. Clean room, acceptable potty area for the dogs. I did clean up some dog poo that was not from my dogs, so it would be better if it was checked. Check-in and out staff were very nice and welcoming. Would stay again.

Front desk Jacob was so professional. My room had every thing we needed. Large room comfy bed and couch. Bath room was clean. Close to everything. Breakfast was great. Nice deal on Groupon! When we come back to Fresno this will be my 1st choice!

This hotel was nice, clean, had a great breakfast, the staff was very friendly. The pool area was very nice, the spa was not heated at the time and that was the only bummer at the time. We had thought about staying with a different Best Western, but the price of the other one was very high so that is why we picked this one, plus it was close to the family we would be visiting.

Stayed for a short overnighter. Very helpful receptionist. Room was near to the pool area, small but clean. Pool was small but perfectly formed and busy, even though it's in the car park. It is was quite far out of Fresno city centre.

My daughter, granddaughter and I were there to participate in a softball tournament at the Buchanan Softball Complex in Clovis. The hotel staff was excellent, friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was good and had a wide variety of items each day we were there. The rooms were clean and a good size since we had many pieces of luggage plus softball equipment to share our room with. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The only drawback for us was no elevator and/or laundry facilities. After doing laundry in two other locations, we found a brand new laundromat only three blocks from this facility which did not show up on our GPS. The location was great and only three exits from the softball complex. We enjoyed our stay and the people that work there made it special.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 20 years and have always found it to be one of the best in the chain. The rooms are larger than most, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the bathroom is large. The location is close to the N & S crosstown freeway. The breakfast menu is amazing! The personnel are the best! The rates were wonderful. We were in town to visit a critically-ill family member; we stayed seven nights. It was very comforting to retreat each night to our excellent room. It is very pet-friendly with a special area for the pets to walk and "do their business."

We booked this hotel while we were driving - should have booked it directly through Best Western rather then the "site" that came up on my phone - nightly rate would have been less. Will remember for the next time. :) Reception personnel were very helpful with directions to our destination. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable.

The Best Western Village is got to be the most friendliest staff I have ever seen in a hotel. The breakfast items are better that most continental breakfast at other hotels. I was staying at the hotel for a few weeks due to family emergency. The compassion of everyone that works at the hotel was so helpful to me during this difficult time. keep up the great work.

Let's start with the good points 1. The breakfast is very good, and complimentary which is a plus. There is also a Denny's right next door. 2. Location is good, with the movies, Fair Fashion mall and Starbucks etc nearby. 3. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Bad points 1. Staff, whilst friendly, are not helpful in the slightest. Our room was situated next to the pool, which we initially thought was a bonus. However there was a huge party at the pool during one of our nights, where there was music blaring and people shouting and screaming at one another- the area was packed. We decided to go out to the cinema at night to get a bit of peace and quiet, however when we returned, the party had gotten bigger and more rambunctious. This continued on into the night, until police sirens went off and an ambulance and police car arrived. I thought this would stop the party, however despite police intervention the party continued, with people running and screaming up and down the corridor still. We called reception and complained, who said they would sent security to break up the party, however surprise surprise nobody turned up so the yelling, singing and music continued. The noise level in general is off putting, as we could hear every single person enter and leave the building, even through the night. Will not be back.

When we arrived, there was a HUGE group at the pool having a party. They literally had table clothes on all of the tables and had so many people in the small area that the children were unable to swim and we did not feel comfortable/safe allowing them to enter the area with so many people. The location we were in felt very unsafe (we went to a Walgreens just up the block and someones car was broken into in broad daylight). I have never seen a hotel barricade in their employees in in order to keep them away from customers, we literally had to speak with the night staff through a glass window similar to that of a bank teller at a drive-thru window. Throughout the hotel there are multiple signs reminding you of safety and every single door requires key access (even in the hallways), although most of them did not work and the doors were left open and unlocked. Prior to booking we were told that the hotel provided roll-away beds upon request to their guests, NOT TRUE. Our family of 5 had to sleep in 2 very small queen 2 beds! The rooms had recently been updated (supposedly), but were extremely outdated and felt like we were in a very low grade motel (I cannot imagine what they were like prior to the 'updates'). I have had good experiences in the past with Best Western hotels and this was so disheartening and disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality, security, and comfort.

Great staff here. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good sized room. Very clean. Good selection of items at breakfast and always well replaced. However, they were not the best quality. Good value at this location. Easy on and off the freeway so good location. Internal corridors so felt safe inside the hotel. It's located next door to Denny's and we ate there one evening. When we left Denny's to walk back to the hotel there were 2 men begging for money in the Denny's parking lot. Felt intimidated. The next morning we drove to the petrol station opposite the hotel and as we filled up there were a couple of people rummaging through the dumpster. you had to cross the parking lot to enter the pool. No elevator.

Really good price for a nice motel. Room was nice and clean. Air Conditioner cooled off the room quick ( it was 105 degrees). Blackout curtains were great. Breakfast was really good...omelet, bacon, sausage, waffle, oatmeal and so much more. If you are older you might want to request a downstairs room since there is no elevator but I like being upstairs for the noise issues so it was not a big deal to walk stairs. It was full but did not here noise. Didn't use the pool but saw there were people enjoying it.

Found hotel easily and was warmly greeted at reception by Fernando, swiftly booked in along with advise as to where to find a nice restaurant. I always maintain that the first contact at reception will define the hotels ethos. Room was perfect the air conditioning was spot on as temps were 95f+ We used the small pool which was well maintained and towels were provided by the hotel. The room was clean bed comfortable and everything worked so no complaints there. Breakfast was great, hot food scrambled eggs, bacon etc. a good choice of cold food as well. One member of staff worked like a Trojan cleaning up and replenishing the food, (I believe his name is John) a credit to this establishment and hope management will pass on my comment to him. All in all, an excellent hotel to stay on our road trip, thanks to all involved.

This was a great location to stay in. Neighborhood wise, not positive about, but close to the airport. The rooms were clean, comfortable, AC was cold, and the internet good. Breakfast was awesome and had a huge selection. I would stay here again for sure.

The staff was nice,check was quick and fast. The rooms where fine clean & comfortable. The pool was perfect a great place to hang out & get some sun. The breakfast had a great variety Hot & cold one of the best ones I have eaten at in a hotel.. I would stay there in a heart beat.

This place was pretty much everything it says it is and most of the reviews are correct. It is an excellent value and the service was awesome. The breakfast was much better than the cold continental at some places. The rooms were very nice and up to date. The only real issue I had and the reason I could not give more stars was the fact that the hot tub was not working and apparently had not been for some time.

I have had a lot of pressure relief just by staying the nights here at this hotel I was able to have a piece of mind in a long time here alone with my family and I. I hope there are other locations else wher that offer these same services in the near future cause my next stop is yosimite and Miami, Fl.

We stayed only one night and there was a gentleman smoking pot in the parking lot when reported he was still there, nothing was done. Then shortly afterwards the party at the pool started with a lot of people drinking, screaming and the door to the hotel left open so there was no secuirty. I definitely would never recommend this place nor would I ever go there agian, i would sleep in my car in a walmart parking lot first.

I enjoy my stay. Love the comfort of the beds. My kids love the free breakfast and swimming pool. The staff was very helpful and considerate of my needs. we sleep well. Really like that there is no smoking in all rooms. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Hotel was clean and great for the price. Service was excellent, Jacob and Fernando were more than friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice touch and included with the rate. Sorry for the late review. Will definilty be back and recommend to friends.

Visiting with a youth sports team, pleasantly surprised by relative newness of facility, and quite clean as well. Above average breakfast, competent front desk. Centrally located near lots of food places, stores, etc. Based on other hotels our rate was very good 20% under the higher end hotel chains.

Never a bad stay at Best Western. Breakfast a good PLUS. Beds are comfortable. Ice machines should be larger for faster service. Back to Breakfast, It had all the stuff for a real satisfying meal. Eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, fruit, pancakes, waffles, and much more.

The Hotel is about Avg. The rooms are a little small. Bed is a little firm for me. However , my partner liked it. Walls are thin. You will be able to hear what is going on in the room next door. The air Co works great! I was cool the whole time. It was 104 outside on that day. The showers were nice. Lots of room. There were a couple of spots on the carpet that needs to be either re-places or repaired. The furniture is okay too. There was a lot of kids that were running around on that day. I think this place would be great for families with kids.

I stayed for a night on way home from Sequoia. I drove by Motel 6 and Travelodge not far away but it didn't seem too safe. Both motels had people loitering in parking lot who did not look like they were staying in the hotel and seem to be drinking. With no hall ways between room and parking lot, I wasn't about to risk some drunken person trying to crash into my room. Not to mention possible noise from these parking lot party goers. Best Western was bit more tucked in with no one loitering in the parking lot, although there was a gathering in the pool. It was quite with exception of being able to hear people talking as they walked by and very faint train noise. Room was clean. Everything except for one lamp was in working order. Breakfast was great. There were waffle, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, muffin, bagel, scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, oatmeal, juice, milk, coffee, almond milk, soy milk, tea. I would recommend booking early since on website it was quoted 95ish with tax but from front desk I was charged 124 including tax. Big difference. There are Dennys, MacDonald, Carls Jr, donut shop right in walking vicinity.

Everyone at this B>W. was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and breakfast was awesome! The rooms very clean, just a little small. Need to have all the big trucks park in back. The breakfast awesome, taste and verity

We would go again...get stop to Yosemite. We loved it. Not too price high. Clean, friendly, nice. Safe area. Hopefully the price will stay under $100. Over would be too much for this. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

I visited there for my biz trip. I called the front desk for the room services and the LD for my biz. It was quick response in Front Desk & Fast internet Srv. Also good breakfast !!! Fast internet & excellent Breakfast & quick response using phone system

The first room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, although the hotel was billed as a non-smoking property. We found a cockroach in the second room we were moved to, The iron in the room did not work, so we were forced to go out with wrinkled clothes.

This Best Western was quick and easy and pet friendly, which was good for us traveling with our dog. However, the neighborhood is depressed and the parking lot a bit shabby and the room had a weird odor. But the housekeeping staff gave us some Fabreeze which fixed that. The beds were fresh and comfortable but the carpet had a spot or two.

Recently booked three rooms for a wedding and had a wonderful experience . In particular Angela who was a very friendly and helpful woman was very attentive in the breakfast room and as well at the front desk. The housekeeping staff was proficient and accommodating and had each room in a state of cleanliness .The breakfast was very well prepared and well served with hot food, assorted breads and pastries and waffles and yogurt,eggs,sausage, bacon, and cereal to name a few. Every need the breakfast room, the front desk , and housekeeping was superlative and I definitely will revisit this hotel if I am ever in the area again

We stayed one night here and the room was clean, very adequate, there was free wifi AND a free breakfast. However the place was noisy with people moving about loudly during the night. There was no info in the foyer about the area. Glad it was only one night.

stayed at village inn Fresno because it was best western I would have prefered a downstairs room but it was such a minor thing It did not even consider staying anywhere else breakfast was very good thank you

We were happy in our stay there. The one exception was that there was no tourist information there and the staff acted like tourist information had no place in their business. Also, in the morning there were beer bottles scattered in the pool area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to King's Canyon and Sequoia. On our way back we came here again. The attendant said no rooms were available even through Trip Advisor said rooms were available. The room was clean bed comfortable and shower good.

Good location to local shopping and restaurants. Noisy though No wash clothes in room and trash containers had no plastic bag liners. Repaving parking lot of Denny's restaurant next door and heavy equipment worked until 9:15.PM. I had any early meeting and did not get much sleep.

Clean, comfortable room. First 2 hotels we checked were not pet friendly.This one was recommended by the other best western that was not. Front desk staff was helpful with area restaurants. Decent pet area.

Overall a satisfactory stay particularly comfortable bed and hearty breakfast but certain areas can be improved? 1. parking - the hotel has 2 blocks and if you are wanting to check in at front desk you might not find a 5 min zone to attend to initially check in. This is inconvenient as the car park could be near full 2. daily change of front desk . I stayed a couple of nights and met at least 4 receptionists and quality of attendance is inconsistent. GM did not bother to reply to my complaint of not being charged a concessionary rate (AAA) despite offered by front desk at request. 3. security door on 2nd block was left unlocked a couple of occasion. guess they cannot afford a security officer patrolling the premises. if you have family with young daughters, the lapses might give you a chill 4. wifi is erratic Other than above, the other hotels in same class elsewhere in Fresco could be more pricey.

We left the National Park a bit late and ended up here. I searched for A BW before our trip started, so we called on route. Everything worked out- we had time for wine and cheese--refreshed ourselves--asked staff for dinner places. They did not have much to offer. So we left on our own. The night was comfy. The breakfast adequate and checkout smooth. The new renovations are progressing and really are improving the property.

We along with our dog, KoKo, have stayed at this Best Western several times over the last few years and always have an enjoyable experience -- the personnel have always given excellent service and that helps to make our stay at this hotel a happy one.

Very clean hotel. They are always cleaning and fixing this hotel. The people are always helpful amd friendly. They have the best breakfast of any of the hotels we stay at. Always hot and fresh and a good variety.

Do not be fooled by the neighboring businesses! The owners of this hotel are doing a great job bringing a very classy "oldie" up to modern standards. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast and breakfast area very pleasant. Hats off to the owners of this location for a great job on renewing this hotel.

Very Good location and overall a pleasant experience. Close to downtown and lots of shopping stores. I would come back to this hotel for the price and location primarily. It was a good experience the rooms and staff were friendly. It would be nice if the swimming pool was heated. We went into the pool and came back out because it was too cold.

Always a pleasant stay. Clean, friendly, helpful, convenient, great beds, big rooms and amenities, close parking, great value. Easy off/on to freeway, close to downtown Fresno. There's a Denny's next door, open 24 hrs, decent food.

Make a reservation they may get a bus load of tourist it's not far from Yosemite. The staff is helpful and the Breakfast is more than coffee and donuts. You can walk to restaurants and the movie theater. I frequent Fresno of business often and I will always stay at the Best-western Village inn Fresno on Blackstone.

Big place.Close to busy hwy. I have stayed here 2 yrs in a row. Last time the room was first room from the swimming pool. However, Never experienced any noise from hwy or pool. We will stay at the Blackstone Village Inn in Fresno next year too.

This hotel really needs to upgrade for handicapped guests. They need more parking for handicapped people, automated lobby doors & more handicap accessible rooms. Also, internet service is very poor. Beds are very comfy & rates are fair.

Great place with decent price and it has great service and decent rooms compared to some other Best Western hotels and other similar star rating hotels. Breakfast, however, is not as great. Overall, the location, pricing, staff service, room and bed are great. Would consider this place when coming back.

The room is clean and the beds were comfortable. The highlights were friendly staff and the wonderful selection for breakfast. The bacon strips were crispy, thin, and light on grease. The breakfast staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient. They worked hard and I really appreciate their kindness. I wished I could have left a large amount for tips.

What do you expect from staying in a place like Fresno? I did not like NOT having a gym on grounds. There are no In-Shape nor 24-Hour Fitness gyms nearby so I risked my life by running laps around a nearby park. There is a pool, but swimming in a cold outdoor pool when it is 70F outside is not appealing. Blackstone Avenue is a strip of restaurants, stores, malls, and various commercial centers. There is plenty to do, but I am hesitant to experience the nightlife in that environment (and I used to enjoy going to El Flamingo de Stockton).

Stayed two nights in February for business. Good: Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and an ok size. Buildings are secure and staff is friendly. Fine continental breakfast. Bad: Hallway smelled like smoke. Lighting was poor. TV was grainy. Sagging sinking chairs and lack of electrical outlets made it hard to work on laptop. Hot water in room wouldn't get hot enough. Pool was cold and hot tub was broken. My room (#21) was across from a parking lot that was a party hangout for local kids. Lots of noise. I'm sure there are worse places, but it's been a while since I've had an experience like this for over $200.

Bacon, Sausage, Taco's and waffles, need better gluten free options like cereal and the ingredient of potatoes, best selection I've ever seen. Pool was clean and rooms are new, great hotel. Hotel staff went out of the way to accommodate us, Joe Boike.

The place is located on the east side of town. Easy access to food, entertainment, and close to the airport. It has a swimming pool, and a continental breakfast. If you don't like that then theirs a Denny's right next door. The room was very clean, had a refrig and coffee pot. Bathroom was spacious.

We had two rooms while visiting family, one with a king and one with two queens. The two queen room was much larger and faced a small grassy area, while the king faced the parking lot. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was coffee and oranges and apples in the office for guests. Breakfast was included and was surprisingly good, served from 6 to 10 am. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows, although plentiful, were lumpy and unsatisfactory. We were both cold during the night, and there was no extra blanket. There was shampoo and conditioner, but no lotion, which is what I really needed the most. The rooms were clean and in good shape, but appeared to have been decorated in the 1970s. The best thing about the room was the bathroom. It was modern, large, and the tub/shower was delightful.

we stayed four different nights in the last 6 mouths and were very pleased all 6 times and would tell anyone about are stay. the employees and rooms are very good. it is central located for most of the city, close to shopping mall and downtown.

When I got there, no place to park! When i finally parked I was trying to check in but no one opened the night registration window. I waited for about 15 min when a security guard showed up and informed me the night auditor was gone for lunch. The guard said the auditor would be back in about 15 more minutes but never showed up! I was very tired and just trying to sleep. So I left but worse case scenario all the hotels in the city are sold out because of the AG expo. I went back to the hotel and the auditor wasn't there yet!!!! WHAT A LONG LUNCH. Now I'm stuck here sleeping in my truck! Very mad, I wouldn't recommend this place especially if you're trying to check in at night.

No hot water for my 2 day visit , room smelled like sewage , killed 2 roaches in the bathroom , curtains had cat claw holes in them , internet was spotty and choppy in and out ... I was offered $20 off the room price for the lack of hot water ... Still wasnt worth the price ...

January 2016 traveling with pets, I'd made a reservation at a budget friendly motel which was awful, so using a map I found this Best Western. The area was much better and the grounds looked promising. I drove through the parking lot to scope out the buildings, it looked just fine. I parked and went to the night window. I asked for a room in a specific wing, I think there were 3. Understandably, there was only one wing set aside for pet friendly rooms. So I asked if I could see a room prior to checking in. A kind security guard escorted me to two different rooms, they both looked clean, well-appointed and well kept. I wanted a room with a single queen bed, but there was only one available on the side of the building flanking a busy street and there were several tour buses parked adjacent to the room's windows. I opted to pay extra for 2 beds to get a room on an interior hallway away from the street noise and buses. After inspecting the room, I went back to the night window to register & pay. I asked if there was a room closer to the exit, the clerk said I could have the room nearest the exit available. I had not previewed the room I was given 2 doors down from the room I previewed. When I entered the room and shut the door, I could see light from the hallway through a 1/2 inch wide gap in the closed door. I had passed a room a few doors down with a group of people who were making enough noise to notice after midnight and from previous experience know any place air can get through, so can noise. i didn't like the lack of privacy either, so i called the front desk to get a different room. My request was courteously granted and I waited for the patient security guard to return with a different key. We returned to the first room I'd previewed and the door seemed fine so I accepted. The room was warm from being closed, so I went to open the window. There was a sliding horizontal window about 12 in high by 3 feet wide below a fixed window above. The sliding panel of the window was designed to only be opened half way, the opening was about 12 h x 9 wide, not going to cool off the room, but appreciated for a little security. I went to the thermostat to turn on the air conditioning. It was a very simple automatic digital thermostat with up and down arrows. I adjusted the temperature all the way down. The readout was 64, but the room was stifling. The thermostat would only go down to 66 and instead of the air conditioner coming on, the HEATER came on. I again called the front desk to ask if there were instructions to override the unwanted behavior. The clerk was a little less friendly this time and volunteered she didn't know how to operate the thermostat, but would send the security guard to help. He arrived quickly and did everything he could to help but it was no use that was how it was going to be. So I gave him the key and returned to the front desk to cancel my registration. The clerk didn't know how to void the transaction, but eventually figured out how to print a paper which clarified I didn't owe anything. I returned home and although I have not been charged for anything, the pending charge remains 12 days later. The whole ordeal took approximately an hour. Despite my difficulties I wouldn't discourage a visitor from staying here, it seemed to be near the top of what Fresno had to offer for pet friendly accommodations. I would not stay there again as I couldn't be comfortable,

I stay at this Hotel once a week all year. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a hotel I can count on for courteous staff, clean rooms and and good location. I recommend this hotel with confidence.

Bed was too firm, WiFi was too slow and clunky, breakfast was decent, room is smallish and heat/cooling wasn't able to set to just fan with outside air. There is a small fridge that froze my sandwich, but I was unable to get it to turn down. No microwave.

Overall rating for the Best Western in Fresno is GOOD! My wife & I stayed two nights while doing business in the area. Since I was unfamiliar with Fresno, I spent a LOT of time sifting through reviews & prices. Conclusion? Fresno does not appear to offer the greatest amenities. Cockroaches rule! Fortunately, the Best Western I chose was a great place to stay. Let me count the ways: 1) No cockroaches; 2) Great complimentary breakfast; 3) Clean room (queen studio); 4) Shower & toilet work great. For me, a good complimentary breakfast is a bonus! Lots of bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, juices, fruit, bagels, and cereal available. One morning, the breakfast room was very crowded; I was impressed with staff keeping the breakfast foods well stocked.

It was a nice hotel. The quality of the stay was very good. Everything was clean and functional. The hotel looks nice and is in a convenient location. I have stayed here before and would stay here again.

We were not familiar with the area and the staff pointed out places of interest and gave directions and road conditions. We were able to stop at a clothing store, gift shop, and buy gasoline at the most fair price in town thanks to the staff of B.W. We are most appreciative of the quality and variety of food provided for our breakfast. A great restaurant was recommended for our evening meal. The staff also suggested entertainment after dinner. The dinner was everything promised. The entertainment also was good, it featured local entertainers with whom my husband enjoyed music conversations, as he was a part-time musician.

Staff provided a pleasant welcome and gladly showed a room we prefer before signing us in. The front desk staff made several suggestions for local dining. Bobby Salazar was what we picked. WOW GREAT meal.

My husband and I booked this hotel thinking it was closer to our family. It really wasn't. However, the room was clean, comfortable, and pretty. There was problems, the water main broke, twice, and the heater/ air conditioner didn't work very well. But. the room was perfect, you didn't need the heater or air conditioner. There was even a freeze warning and the room stayed at a perfect temps. We really enjoyed every bit of our time with this hotel. The breakfast was very yummy and the employees are very sweet, helpful and just very nice to talk to. The main water break was really not anyone's fault. We always carry a cpac machine with extra water. We were not affected because we showered at night before and of course the water we always have. The price was really wonderful too. Thank you for making our stay very welcoming and enjoyable. We will be back.

Stayed here overnight, and it was a pleasant experience. Room and bathroom were clean and updated. Bed was comfortable with good sheets and cotton spread. The breakfast was standard, but fine. The location is convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

As a pet-friendly hotel, I expected a lot worse, but the room was very clean and the location was easy to find. Of course, it's Fresno, so the location is what it is, but if you need to stay in the area it's more than serviceable and the buildings are secure. The staff was helpful and friendly too, and the rates were reasonable with a nominal pet fee of $20. The in-room heater was noisy, but it worked, and I've encountered too many noisy non-functioning heaters not to appreciate the distinction.

A good place to make an overnight stop. Easy to get to. Clean and comfy room with open-able window. Fine breakfast. No lift to the upper floor rooms which was a bit of a surprise for a US hotel! Would happily stay there again on a late arrival, early departure trip.

Our accommodations were comfortable, clean and quiet. Having been a holiday time, there were a lot of people coming and going. The staff kept up and made everyone, in our observation, feel welcome. This is a part of town where there are some street people. The staff was observant of this situation and made every effort to see that we felt safe.

We flew into Fresno early September with 109 degrees F and had bad jet lag. Picked up our rental car totally zonked and just started driving out of the airport around and around. Stopped in at the local gas station wanting a not so expensive motel. All the ones at the airport looked expensive. Best Western up E.Blackstone was recommended. We finally found it on the map provided and collapsed into airconditioned heaven. Spent the next day in the pool. The stay included breakfast ranging from pancakes, toast, cereals to yoghurt and juice. Pinch a muffen for morning tea. Coffee maker in room can do hot water for tea. No toaster as they set off the smoke alarms. Bath/shower. Very neat and clean and quiet. Make sure you get out the back, upstairs if you dont have too much to carry. We managed with four packs, box of food and esky. All Best Westerns are so similiar that you know what you are getting. They give you a map of California with the motels starred on it. Very handy!

Very nice hotel. Overall great service. Would totally recommend it. Customer services was well perform. Clean,nice, and affordable. Breakfast was also included which was great specially when your traveling with your little family. My son like the room we stayed in.

Stayed at Best Western while visiting Fresno. It has nice clean rooms. The breakfast included with the room is very good with decent coffee. The towels were a little scratchy, but not a big deal. Overall a good experience staying at this Best Western.

Nice clean hotel, no elevator to 2nd floor. Breakfast area nice and clean and a nice selection of items. My room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Denny's restaurant right next door so dinner was easy.

We stayed here for 1 night after finding a disaster in Seqouia arriving at our hotel to find it abandoned due to forest fires with no prior warning (Montecito Lodge check out my other reviews). This is a basic budget hotel and was decent enough value for the money.

Very nice staff and good location. The beds were comfortable and the linen was very fresh and clean. For the price we paid, we got a very good deal, so no complaints. I go frequently to this chain the PLUS series is definitely good overall.

This is not my usual place to stay. The Best Western that I normally stay at was all booked up. So I was forced to look elsewhere. I am a Rewards member and wanted to get my points. This was the most convenient location and close to the business I had in town. Overall it was a nice enough place to spend the night and get cleaned up.

Very accomidating staff who made my groups stay a memorable experience. Everything we needed was given to us and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I like the new carpets! We will be back next year. Thanks for the hospitality.

The area this hotel was in was BAD!!! I was afraid to go out after dark! The exterior door did not lock so anyone off the street could enter the building, I kept my room double locked when I was in it. My room key never worked and had to call the front desk several times to let me back in my room. Great place to stay if you are a escort or crack head. My second night a couple were arguing so loud they woke me up out of dead sleep at 3:30 AM!!!!

This was my worst experience with a BW motel. Bed in first room was broken. No soap, faucet in sink leaked and TV remote was dirty. Web description on area of motel is not accurate and outside sign advertises all rooms are new. If they are the motel was cheated onb the work.

Clean facilities and comfortable beds. Dated room furnishings, but sufficient. Would recommend bring your own power outlet strip, wall outlets are few and far between. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Good breakfast selections. Good value for $$ spent.

We stay here every time we are in Fresno. The hotel is very clean inside and out. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is good and all of the staff are great. Any time we have had a problem it is taken care of promptly.

I requested a quiet room, and was given just that. Property is clean, secure, and the staff makes you feel at home. It's close to 41 freeway and shopping. Beds are comfortable. Starbucks 1 block away.

This Best Western was closest to where I needed to be, and the price was about expected, though I preferred something the $59 range (plus tax). It was very clean, nice room, and service was great. Breakfast was plenty, but not always tasty. They had no microwave in the room to warm up muffins (I didm;t ask to use kitchen). The toilet ran, but they fixed it promptly. I didn't report that I almost couldn't turn on the water in the tub/shower; eventually managed, but a less strong, elderly person would not have managed. If you aren't getting up early, don't stay in Rm. 104 across from breakfast room. Noisy. I was satisfies with air-conditioning, though had to set it lower than 72 in order to have it be that; my other relatives had trouble with temperature in Rms. 122 and 124. Overall, a good place to stay.

We arrived to our room to dirty bathroom floor and nasty bits on the walls in the bathroom. The AC unit is so loud it made very difficult to sleep with in on. The hotel staff was helpful, but couldn't fix the loudness of the AC.

Room's were clean quiet and comfortable ,the staff were all very helpful and polite. The breakfast was very good with a good variety to chose from ,The pool area and hot tub was clean and well kept i would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable room with a fridge and microwave. Air conditioner nice and cold. Better than average breakfast, with both hot and cold items, and attendants who kept it well stocked. Nice and quiet, with close and easy freeway access. The only thing I found lacking was an onsite guest laundry. Good value for the money, would definitely stay again.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Location a bit iffy if you arrive late in the evening. We ate at the Dennys next door food was reasonably priced and the meal was very good. I would stay here again if I was passing through town. Perfect for one night.

Comfortable room, pet friendly, Its getting a little old, the stucco is having problems but in general its a good hotel. The neighborhood is Fresno - but at least not the really slummy part. There were 2 large tour groups there. The tour from Japan was noisy early in the morning.

I was here on pleasure, in town for the Climb to Kaiser event. I was given a spacious room and needed a good night sleep as I needed to get up early Saturday morning. Bed, pillows, and all were great. Clean room with no complaints. No problems checking in or checking out. Friendly staff. 2nd night had an even better sleep than the first night, maybe it was because of the all the cycling that day. Either way it was a good night sleep. They have a pool in the middle of the complex a number of people were enjoying it. Breakfast was typical for Best Western, still good. I was on the first floor and no noise. Good price for a nights stay, I was there two nights. I would go back to this one again. Not too far from the mall and other shops in the area.

when i book this hotel i loved all the things the hotel had, great location, swimming pool, free wifi,and breakfast, everything was great. but i didn't know that i booked the same weekend as a biker convention,with 30-40 bikers playing music all night and riding up and down the parking lot. the next morning i checked out and the staff said the were very sorry for all the loud niose, they did try to get them to stop earlier in the evening. staff was very friendly and helpiful getting me checked in a little early after a website told me checkin was earlier then it was.

Needed a room for a couple nights, was there chaperoning my nephew for a tournamnet, so I wasn't looking for something shady. Upon checking in staff was friendly. The room was clean, bed were really comfy. You do hear some outside noise from hallway, but not to bad. Breakfast is served with waffles. We didn't see any shady stuff so overall it was a good experience.

Good value for the money. Conveniently located to many areas of Fresno. Newly remodelled rooms were clean and attractive. Very complete warm breakfast including eggs, meat, and waffles. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool and jacuzzi were well maintained.

The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast included some hot items & there where a variety of other cold choices. Don't know about pool because we didn't use it. The folks at the front desk where professional. We'll stay here again!

the hotel was in a good location. check in was convenient and staff were great. rooms were clean and adequate. Breakfast was in the main lobby and was plenty with a big seating area. I would defi recommend this place to anyone. Its a good value for money. The room we stayed in came with a balcony (good for smokers) and the pool is at the back and is clean and big. It actually feels like a proper hotel than a motel.

I use the Best Western Hotel when I visit my grand kids in Fresno. We love the rooms, pool and hot tubs and the hot breakfast with a great juice selection. Always fun too when we meet other guests that are from around the world!
