Best Western Plus O'Hare International South Hotel

This room was lower price so I was not expecting exceptional but…The rooms were outdated and marginally clean. I did a stay-park-stay. The first check in was delayed as they worked through a person in front of me on speakerphone having their room mysteriously canceled and then being charged more. The parking spaces were very small and several cars had antitheft devices on the steering wheels. on return we called at 10:45 for a shuttle and was told it would be there in 20 minutes ( after taking my name and confirming my reservation) After 50 minutes we I back and was told the shuttle doesn't run after 11 o'clock and they will not be picking us up. I spent $25 on an Uber. when I arrived, they said my room had been canceled two months earlier. I did not initiate this or change the reservation. They had the same room available, but would not honor the original price and wanted to charge me $36 more (The same issue I overheard when checking in the first time). I absolutely would not stay at this location! Spend a bit more for better and guaranteed service. (I have done park and fly many times and never had such dismal/ unreliable service). I drove home at 1 am rather than stay here.

Driver doesnt have license when she drove us back to the airport and dont speak english. The receptionist Arturo told her to drop us off in the cold because they got caught allowing illegal drivers...

I called the hotel 5 times on 1.12.24 about 10pm to get a shuttle from the O'Hara Airport. Nobody answer the phone. I have to take a cab to the hotel and I paid $24 for the ride. In a policy of the hotel the shuttle from and to the Airport is included in the price. When I arrived in the hotel the guy at the front desk was very rude and he said that I didn't call the hotel even I showed him on my phone that I called 5 times. I think you should give me the $24 back. I will not recomend this hotel to anybody. If the guy at front desk don't know how to talk to customers he should work somewhere else. Thank you for your bad service.

We booked as a layover for O'Hare and then i started reading reviews and thinking oh no! The hotel is about a 10 min drive (shuttle from here for a very reasonable $20). WE had a king room with microwave and fridge and yes the sink was in the room not the bathroom but this is just an older building layout i guess (stopped in old US hotels where it is similar and considered charming!) Check in was quick, lady on reception very helpful. The room was clean and spacious - i think it was like $80 or something a night which is exceptional value for what you get. It is on a highway but no noticeable noise from this. If you want to order things like uber eats - its all close by.

The room needs renovation. Both beds in the room smelled stinky, should have been replaced long ago. Towels very old, should have been replaced as well. Breakfast ok, typical BW quality. Airport shuttle once per hour not convenient and vehicle rusty, not comfortable at all.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was fine, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was closed and there was no laundry room. They gave us water upon check-in and check-out, which was appreciated.

We stayed in the hotel and used the shuttle to take us to the airport. The hotel rooms are average. The air conditioning system is old and not efficient. The breakfast is below average, few choices. When we came back , I had to wait 40 minutes for the shuttle. The van was small for us. The driver picked up an other passenger although I told the hotel receptionist that we are 6 people with luggage. We had to put the luggage on the car seat. When I complained, the answer was , “ No body hurt , it was just inconvenience “

I stayed at this location to get closer to the airport for an early flight the next morning. I should have turned around the moment I pulled up. There were random men at the front entrance loitering and smoking weed and hanging out in a big white van with no windows. Once I went up to my room, I found it to already to be occupied with the door propped open. Come to find out it had been broken into by nonpaying guests who were invited there by a guest who had propped open the back door and invited his friends to come to have a "smoke party". The front desk didn't even notice all this was happening even though there are camera all over the hotel and the screen is at the front desk. The security guard, who apparently didn't notice this activity either worked to clean the situation up and get everyone out that didn't belong however, they were still hanging out in the parking lot for hours after. The entire hotel smelled like weed and was extremely dirty. Avoid this location, spend the extra money to stay somewhere safer.

Breakfast was so bad that common food items were not provided such as bagels and sweet stuff. You have to ask for a yogurt. Sometimes no coffee. Rooms are so loud because it is right beside a highway. Every semi truck does engine break in the night when passing that made us feel like sleeping on highway. We had to use ear plugs to sleep.

Very kind driver from the airport. Calls himself the crazy Puerto Rican driver. And front desk staff very helpful. Good coffee machine. Nice comfortable mattress and shampoo, lotion, and conditioner. Assistance with my first Uber booking.

Stayed 2 nites pre collecting our RV for Route 66 as depot very close to hotel. Shuttle staff Daniel & Chris were SO helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent,Art kept the hot freah eggs/sausages/coffee etc. topped up. Took the blue line from airport into city for sightseeing, shuttle picked us up on return, no problem. Even dropped us at RV depot with all our luggage. Location worked for us, yes it's on a 24/7 busy road but it was clean and good value.

Certain perks are given to members and this was not meet. The bed was in rough condition could not get comfortable to sleep. The pool was broken, I think it should be communicated with the customer, we chose the hotel because it says it has a pool.

we flew from San Francisco to Chicago to visit family, this hotel is very close to airport, room was clean and it had fresh linen smell, we got shuttle to and from airport, check-in was easy and desk person was friendly.

Stains all over the room. Curtains burned by cigarettes. It smelled like feet in the whole room. Electronics including the fridge were not plugged in. There was USED towel left on a rack! The woman that checked us in treated us like idiots. Please don't stay at this location that is the farthest from quality service.

We checked in to the hotel and the front desk person was not kind with her attitude. Then, we got to our room and there were things left behind from other guests, stains on the walls, and the overall cleanliness was not okay. When trying to check out the front desk person continued to have attitude and was not very helpful or empathetic towards the quality of the cleanliness or dissatisfaction.

We stayed here 5 nights it was really good stay and staff was friendly and rooms were clean and we got room service everyday, breakfast was fresh with scrambled eggs, waffles and cereals, definitely ll come back when I am in Chicago

We were hesitant to book because of the mixed reviews. We are glad we decided to stay here! We used reward points to book if this is important. Our stay at this hotel was exemplary start to finish. We were picked up promptly at the airport by a friendly hotel shuttle driver who made great conversation and had 30 years experience as a local cab driver. We were greeted at the hotel by friendly front desk staff who promptly checked us in. They sent a staff member back to our room, before we went back, to personally check it was clean and ready - a nice gesture we have not experienced elsewhere. After we thoroughly inspected for any negligence, we found the room to be very clean from the bed, to the TV clicker to the bathroom. No stains, bugs, or trash as some others reported. A few hard to reach cobwebs on the ceiling were no issue for us. We took bus 330 after check in to the Rosemont CTA station ($2.25 one way) to catch the blue line into the city. When we returned and retired to our room, we slept very well in the comfortable bed. The next morning, breakfast was very good - better than most BWs we have stayed at. Fresh eggs, waffles, sausage and potatoes; healthy opions included various fruit, juices, toast, yogurt. Good stuff. Following breakfast the front desk allowed us to store our luggage, after check out, from about 11am - 4pm as we went back to the city before an evening flight. We returned with no issues with our held luggage, and they confirmed our IDs for pickup. The same shuttle driver took us back to the airport and the experience was again great. Takeaways: Pros: Exemplary hotel or shuttle service experiences, exceeded our expectations! Great value. The hotel is close to the airport, however comfy and quiet. We will stay here again. Cons (none related to hotel service or BW): The hotel is not convienient to the L or Metra trains, though there are connecting buses. Public transit to or from the city to the hotel took at least 90 min and cost around $10 each way. This is compared to a $30-45 rideshare service, or $50-60 taxi that would take 45 min each way depending on traffic.

We stayed with my Family for four days while attending the Show at the Convention Center. Raj who checked us was excellent. Friendly, accommodating, and patient. The rooms were clean and had a microwave, and fridge, Clean showers. Thank you.

We had very good stay at best western plus located close to O'hare airport, Building looks old from outside but staff is very well trained and smiles and greets from moment you walk-in, gives you all information you need at the check-in. Room was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable. we also used shuttle service to ride to the airport, shuttle van was small but it was right on time.

Good hotel near O'Hare airport, we stayed last week for family reunion and we needed something close to O'Hare airport, check-in and check-out was lighting fast, desk person was super helpful, Room was clean and spacious. breakfast was good too. they might have carpet update coming up soon.

the hotel is aged, very aged. quite dirty and old looking in all common parts. breakfast is poor and the dining is bad smelly dsince the kitchen is just next door. bed lining and towels are aged too and with plenty of spots. shuttle to airport should be free of charge but it costs 15USD (honestly they did not charge me all lifts I took) and the car is even more aged and ugly of the hotel. room are noisy since the train station closeby

Worst hotel ever of this brand. Room dirty, smelly and outdated. Carpets dirty. Bathroom dirty with parts missing and plaster falling off of the wall. Limited lighting in the room. Was checked in to a room. Came back from dinner to find that the clerk had given it to someone else. Had to change rooms. Breakfast was disgusting! Eggs were cold and green/gray. Potatoes were mushy and cold. (Supposed to be tater-tots.) Limited selection. No pastries or other sweet rolls. A jar of peanut butter was on the counter. The health department should pay them a visit. A surprise "Energy" charge appeared on my final bill. Was not aware of it or know what it is for. Have never been charged anything like it before and other branded hotels. Stay away!

This hotel has everything you need and is in a good location. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. This is our favorite hotel when we come to Chicago! We highly recommend it!! You will not be disappointed.

we had good stay with park sleep and fly package, Arrived with car packing, front desk was friendly and helped us scheduling shuttle for next day, Rooms were clean and had sufficient amenities, had good breakfast before leaving for airport, Shuttle was at the airport within 20 mins upon arrival, overall everything went well as expected without breaking our wallet.

Stayed here for one night for the event in Chicago, front desk manager (Indian guy) let me check in early without charge, gave me room on quiet side, helped me getting into downtown, room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was good too.

I was there for family reunion and it was close to ohare aiport with shuttle service, Front desk was sweet and friendly. Room was clean and spacious with all required amenities, Desk person made sure we liked room, had a good sleep and woke up with good waffle smell and had good breakfast.

WARNING! Do Not stay in this hotel with the park-stay-fly package. When I came back to pick up my car, I found the catalytic converter was cut off and stolen. The hotel would not take any responsibility for this except providing surveillance video to police for investigation.

Room was clean and staff was friendly, they went above and beyond to help us, breakfast was good too with fresh fruits and hot waffles, we also used shuttle to and from airport and driver was very funny

Gross. Smells like smoke, hasn't been vacuumed, poor quality of everything. Close to the airport and offers a shuttle, so that was good. Also, it didn't cost $300, so that was good too. And so on and so fourth.

Very good stay. Clean room spongy bed, clean towels and sheets, toiletries, iron, hair dryer, microwave, coffee. Wished they had bottled water though. Breakfast was surprisingly very good, eggs, sausage, toast, make your own waffle, cereals, juices and coffee. Quite impressive. Area safe and about 15 min drive from the airport. Very good!

Had to book a hotel by Ohare airport. Stayed for 2 nights. Staff was very nice (both at the reception , and especially I'd like to mention Lady and Raj who were so friendly serving breakfast (which was very good too). Room was clean. Was happy to have a little refrigerator and microwave in the room. All in all I was very pleased. Thank you !

This hotel was close to the airport which is why we chose it. We found the hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Even though our reservation was for four people, our room did not have enough towels and wash cloths for all of us. We had to request and the hotel then gave us enough sets. I would think that the room would always have enough sets of towels for the number of people staying in a room. We also found this to be an issue at another Hampton Inn that we stayed at while on this trip.

TLDR: Moldy, dirty, and unsafe. Do not stay here. We booked this hotel as part of a park/sleep/fly package because it had decent reviews and was close to the airport. Whoever left the positive reviews must have mistaken this hotel for another, because there is nothing good to say about it. Upon arrival, we knew we made a mistake, as the exterior was rundown, the hallway carpets were dirty, and the elevator was shaky. But it's the room that really counts, and ours left such a terrible impression that here I am, writing my first-ever hotel review in hopes that you, the reader of this review, do not make the same mistake I did in booking a room here. The door handle to our room was broken, which was our first room-specific sign that this was going to be a Bad Stay. When we walked in, the room was dirty, so my husband and I stripped the bed in search of bed bugs. Luckily, we found no creatures crawling in the mattress. Instead, however, we found some other less-than-pleasant surprises. Crumbs covered the bed, hair was on the pillows, and a large stain spread across the foot of the mattress. When lifting the mattress to search underneath for bugs, my husband uncovered a colony of mold growing on the bedframe. Despite all this, it was too late for us to find last-minute accommodations elsewhere, and we didn't feel safe sleeping in our car, so we braved the night there. The next morning, we took the earliest possible shuttle to the airport, but the driver was late. When he showed up, the “shuttle” that he escorted us to was notably in rough shape. Most of the dashboard lights were on, one of the seatbelts didn't have a buckle and was thus unusable, and a door handle was completely broken off. The journey felt unsafe, but luckily, we made it to and from the airport in one piece so that I could write this review for you. Please do not stay here. Your health and safety are worth more than a seemingly good park/sleep/fly deal.

I booked this hotel thinking that Best Western was a trusted brand. We needed someplace close to the airport because we had an early flight. As soon as we drove up, I knew I'd made the wrong choice. This property is not in a nice neighborhood. The staff was nice enough, but the room was horrible! The sheets were ripped and stained, the towels were stained. The carpet looked dingy and dirty. My son woke up covered in bug bites. I will say I was glad we didn't hear planes flying overhead.

Imagine checking into your room late at night just to find a bed bug in your room 2 hours after checking in and you feel something crawling on you just to get this response "Thank you for patiently waiting Allison, I've finished the call with the hotel, we spoke with Ismael from the Front Desk who advised us that tomorrow they will provide you another room and also, he advised that he is unable to approve the refund of this reservation, my sincere apologies, my recommendation is to speak with the manager tomorrow and verify other options with them, in case they approve the refund you can provide the name of the manager and we can continue with your case." I wish I could upload the videos... Bugs on my body, in the beds and pillows! I even took a bug to the front desk I killed with a napkin. Horrible experience! Checked out immediately. Me and my family was outside with our bags in our pajamas making accomodations because it was so disgusting!

I always stay at this hotel when leaving Chicago to go home. It is always very clean, room is always the same, I just love their staff as they are always so friendly and if i ever need anything they always get what I need.

The staff were very helpful, the rooms are clean, though quite dated. Located very close to O'Hare, so very useful for transitioning passengers. A decent variety of restaurants are within walking distance, as well as grocery / convenience stores. Close enough for quick freeway access

We were able to reserve a room on very short notice for an unexpected delay overnight at the Ohare airport. The room was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Free shuttle from and to airport. Breakfast. I will choose this hotel to stay on my next trip to Chicago. Grateful experience overall

Great location but towels and sheets bed to be replaced. Had to ask every day for a second set of towels. The sink didn't get cleaned once in 5 days and nether did the bathroom floor. The shuttle to the airport was the main reason for staying there so we could get downtown on the L train but the van bends to be replaced before it breaks down on the way. Breakfast was ok but one day there was no fruit.

Nice place and staff were very helpful. We used the park and fly reservation and felt confident about security of our vehicle. Could use an updated bathroom, it was a bit worn but nice enough for overnight.

Husband and I had a wonderful 2-night stay. Hotel is clean, extremely convenient to all the sights, and had a great front desk staff. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was awesome..Eggs, sausage, oatmeal and bagels. In every interaction we had with them, they were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Had a room on the 4th floor, facing Residential side - it was quiet. Great stay - highly recommend!

Have stayed at this property many times over the past several years. Can no longer recommend this property and will no longer choose to stay here. Seems COVID has really taken a toll. Hot water not working in bathroom sink. Could not turn off the heat. Breakfast was not replenished when needed. Hotel is under new ownership. Hopefully they can/will turn this around.

We stayed at this hotel while vending at the convention center during MFF in Rosemont. The fridge was missing in room 411 when we arrived so they had us go to another room. That rooms door was broken and the room was open when we arrived. We took the fridge from that room and returned to room 411 with it. It was not until later that we realized that the toilet did not work. We tried filling it with water but it did not help. The bathroom smelled really bad from the toilet. There were also yellow stains on the pillow cases and red stains on the carpet. The juice machine was out of order for breakfast so they had a watered down container of OJ instead. I guess this is what should be expected at about $79 per night though. There was a Starbucks across the road so that was a plus at the very least.

It was horrible. I can't believe that Best Western has there name on this building. I had a package shipped to the manager and she received it but they lost it. I'm out the money. Manager is never there and won't return calls.

Who ever hired them , should be fired-your staff need to be taking some kind of classes to learn how to speak with your customers, your staff talking to you like they are your boss and you need them and looking down on you

I was in town to attend a work training which ended each night at around nine. On Friday, I didn't get to the hotel until 9:30 or so, and immediately I could see that the lobby wasn't really clean and everything was very run-down and in disrepair. The pool was closed and being used for storage. There was painters tape across some of the exit doors. Someone was on the phone complaining to the manager while I waited to check in. When I went upstairs, the elevator was visibly dirty. The hallway windows were open and had no screens. In my room, the chair was broken, the bathtub faucet was broken, the sheets, towels, and bath mat had been laundered but all had stains, and the room smelled. I ended up turning off the air conditioning for the duration of my stay, which helped, but my window also had no screen. The cable on the TV wasn't working and was all fuzzy and pixelated. It was bad enough that I checked the mattresses for evidence of bedbugs and wasn't comfortable putting my belongings on the floor, but at that point it was so late I just stayed, though I didn't sleep much. The next day I put all my things in my car, thinking I could look for another hotel during the day if I had time. I left a Do Not Disturb sign on the door so no one would enter. We worked right through our meals, so I didn't have an opportunity to change hotels, and I again didn't return until near ten. I told myself they'd already charged the card, I didn't want to drive around an unfamiliar city searching for a room late at night, and I could deal with it for one more night. The room appeared untouched. I put on my pajamas and got onto the unmade bed, where I put my toes under the folded down covers. My toe touched something wet, then bumped something hard. I jumped out of bed, pulled back the blankets, and found a fresh beer bottle leaking beer onto the sheets. I packed in a hurry! I called my husband, who started searching for a new room online, and went to speak to the manager. She didn't seem particularly surprised or upset. She was the only hotel staff member I'd seen on my way out that morning, and I'd watched her clock that I had all my stuff, so make of that what you will. She gave me the runaround about a refund, and is currently doing the same to Priceline. I will never stay in a Best Western again. If this is the franchise bar, it's dangerously low. That said, the Hampton down the street was perfectly lovely, and a coworker who stayed in the Four Points Sheraton likewise had no problems. Another attendee at my training told me Sunday she'd stayed at this location also and had ended up tracking down a friend and sleeping on their couch Saturday night because she was afraid to return.

I was at this hotel in September for the holiday. I was a little skeptical but when we arrived I saw that the airline pilots and stewards were checking out. I thought, if they are here it must be good! I was not disappointed! It's reasonably priced, the host was friendly, the food was good, the room didn't have a smell and the room was great compared to other high priced hotels! We had to drive a short distance to downtown Chicago but it was worth it. There are lots of restaurants, stores, Walgreens, etc. on the street so if you need anything it was not far to get to. Stay here! You want be sorry!

I have stayed at several best western properties across Canada, and this Best Wester "PLUS" fell extremely short of the quality I would expect from Best Western. The elevator smelled, the hallway leading to our room smelled like pot and smoke, and our room smelled like someone had explodes a can of cheap air freshener. It was absolutely terrible. We had to sleep with the window open (and as a result were kept awake by train and other noise). There was almost no water pressure in the shower, and the toilet required several attempts to flush.

Had an early flight and needed a place that was clean, comfortable, had free parking and was close to the airport. Check and check - front desk was super nice, place was clean and bed was comfortable. Super close to airport. We needed to drop off our rental car and location was 10 minutes away.

Booked at the hotel for few days while in Chicago with my husband so opted for a jacuzzi tub. When I checked in the room had a bad odor and we were never transferred to a different room. Lady in the front desk not helpful at all.

Non smoking rooms were completely smoke smelling. Interior needs serious upgrading. It felt dirty and dingy. It was not too bad of a price but you didn't get much for what you paid. Then grab and go breakfast consisted of a muffin and old orange. Would only recommend if you don't care too much about where you are staying

Rooms are always clean and well organized. I really really enjoy the quiet time spent in this place. I strongly recommend you book a room. The area offers lots of restaurant delivery services with a quick response and delivery time

Never again. We had a canceled flight and needed a place to stay. This was close to ORD and the price seemed OK. Once we arrived, the condition of the parking lot was our first indication that not too much care was placed on appearance/cleanliness, and it got worse. In lobby there were bottles laying around and dirty stairway. The front desk person didn't even tell us the elevator was broken so we found that out on our own. Our room smelled horrible!! We didn't have high expectations on the room being up-to-date, but the lack of care for it being clean was appalling. There was pubic hair all over the bathroom and tub, and when using my own personal cleaning wipe, the amount of dirt that came up was shocking! The front desk person moved us, but blamed everything on a substitute cleaner. No other consideration was given to us, which is fine as we will never be back again. Make sure you are looking carefully at the room before you unpack or avoid this property all together.

Best Western I have been too. Very comfortable, fancy, clean rooms, delicious breakfast that filled my stomach. Good service with very intelligence staff that are friendly. I enjoyed my stay and recommend

Clean large room. A little dated but good for the price. Was very clean. Tub was slow to drain but a good stop on the way home. Highly recommend the attached bar/restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. I had the grilled shrimp skewers with couscous. Vegetables were fresh and nicely seasoned. Husband had the chicken parmigiana and he was happy with his as well.

When I called to get my card credited, the staff argued with me. I was told I stayed 2 nights, when in fact I stayed only one and could not get a receipt given or emailed to me so I could see the charges. I did in fact ask for one and was told it would be emailed. This never happened.

From the moment we stepped foot into this hotel it was nothing less of great experience.The staff was amazing, kind and welcoming.The hotel was clean .Breakfast was limited due to Covid -19. Location is very convenient.

We stay at the Best Western Plus in Franklin Park before. Always great experience. Nice clean facility.. Never a problem .They always recognize us and make us feel like a king. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

When we walk in to the hotel lobby young lady greeted us with smile and warm welcome. Our room was warm and clean . Front desk lady call our room to make sure we like our room. Very impressive. Good location, close to stores and restaurants

Okay so the jacuzzi in the room was amazing but still not worth staying in this smoke infested crack den. Most of the people on my floor were living in the hotel or renting rooms by the hour for god knows what. A man banged on my door in the middle of the night looking for a cigarette - first off I'm pregnant and secondly its a “non smoking hotel” supposedly. Except everyone was smoking, fighting and doing drugs. There was a man down the hall who was screaming at his wife and kids so bad I asked the hotel to call the police. But they didn't. The bed was awful, the pillows were uncomfortable, the blanket is this thin cheap material. The front desk woman was nice enough to give me a second one but I had to wait hours for the laundry to finish because they don't have extras. And ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WORE MASKS. Not the staff or guests. I asked people repeatedly to and even the employees said it was policy. But still wouldn't. A guest threatened me and implied he knew what room I was in because he heard me asking the staff to make people wear masks. The only reason I was staying at this hotel is because I wanted to relax for a few days but instead I was up all night afraid I was going to get killed by these crazy drug addicts.

I was a lone traveler passing through Chicago. I had been driving 6 hours to reach this destination. Once I arrived I didn't feel safe. It was dark and late at night and I had to use one of the parking spaces right on the street. I entered the hotel with my pepper spray because I was scared, and was met by the front desk agent. I asked her if there was somewhere safer to park my car and her response was “You shouldn't park it where you parked it. There are a lot of car crashes on that road and your car could very well be damaged” I asked again where to park my car. She then suggested “against the fence in front of the hotel is the safest but there are no available spots. I do leave in a few hours so you can have my spot when I leave.” I was dumbfounded that the only suggestion to keeping my car safe was to wait a few hours for her to end her shift. (Reminder I had been driving for 6 hours and it was already 11pm). I took a deep breath and ignored my worries about my car because I needed sleep. I asked her for my room key. She said I had two reservations so she would need to put both reservations incidentals on my credit card. I told her I had already been refunded for one the reservations. She said “My computer says I need to charge you for both”. I asked her to check again because I had already paid for both reservations in full. She checked and said. “Oh I see it now. She rudely snapped at me and said “if you don't want to be helped then I have no obligation to help you.” At this point I went back to my car and started crying. I was tired, worried about my car and scared. I gathered myself together and walked back in and said I will not be staying there and I need confirmation that she cancelled my reservation. She charged me in full for both nights of my reservation even though I didn't even stay one night. I had to search around for a new hotel around 11:30pm that night. I called the next day to get a refund at least on the second night and the manager working the next day said she needed to speak to her employee before she could confirm or deny my story. She promised to call me by 4pm on October 8th. I still haven't heard from her. I gave her a few business days and called again on October 14th. I spoke to someone new at the hotel. They said they would speak to the manager and I would hear back in the next two days. I still haven't heard back. I am begging anyone at Best Western or Trip Advisor to please help me get in contact with anyone. I haven't been updated with anything and no one has called me back. I am out $250 for not having stayed at Best Western and having been treated very poorly.

We enjoyed our stay. Upon check-in, COVID -19 protocols were in place: face masks, plastic barriers, marks 6ft apart on the floor. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless including the bathtub/shower and sink. The bed was comfortable, the 4 pillows for the two of us were great. The sheets were crisp, and the blanket was the perfect weight for the season. Large TV and remote were also clean. We would stay again!

This location doesn't deserve the plus... i stayed here after checking Best Western's website. Confirmed the hotel had amenities i wanted. After check-in I found out my room door had a broken slide latch that didn't get fixed the 2 nights there, there was no safe to store secure items during work, leaking toilet tank that made noises all night, tv lines and worst of all no breakfast options the website listed. Breakfast was listed in COVID-19 alternative, not a normalbreakfast. Finally found the luggage racks hidden in a stairwell when i checked out on day two. Bypass this location...

We stayed at this property during the 2020 pandemic. None of the staff wore masks and no safety information (such as social distancing reminders or mask requirements) was posted in the public areas of the hotel. I did not feel that this property was taking the pandemic seriously and I did not feel safe. I would never stay here again for this reason. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable and the pillows were basically flat. Both myself and my partner woke up with back pain, which is not common for us even when traveling. If you must stay here, bring your own pillow at minimum.

Close to home and nice for a quick getaway but the hallway and rooms can smell like weed a lot. Overall isn't bad for the money and the Jacuzzi room is decent. Too bad the pool is never open. Overall not too shabby.

I was quickly picked up from the airport. By the shuttle. The breakfast was delicious in the morning. Checking in was an express check-in and checkout. Perfectly clean room. The computer on site was helpful to print my boarding pass and I was able to finish my work with the all access free Wi-Fi.

Extremely nice hotel. The room was very nice and clean. There was a computer available with full access and a printer. I was able to print out my boarding pass. And breakfast in the morning was great. I really enjoyed the yogurt with granolas.

This hotel needs a major makeover. The pool does not work, if it is even there, the breakfast was cold and horrible. The front desk was understaffed, the guy did a great job for how busy he was. He had to answer 3 phones and check people in by himself. He was crazy busy.

I had been looking forward to this business trip for quite some time looking at this hotel was very easy online. I did call ahead and they did provide me with information as far as their airport shuttle goes. Upon arriving I was offered the quick check out. The front desk clerk was very professional and knowledgeable of the area. I will definitely return to this hotel very clean and great location.

The good: The 2 queen bed was spacious and comfortable and clean. Great shuttle drivers to and from airport. Close to airport. Walking distance to some restaurants nearby. The not so good: Hotel had seen better days, both inside and outside. The posted management photos (here on TA) do not really depict the actual conditions you see (gasp!). A modernization/update refurbishment is a dire need here. Breakfast area is small (as is the lobby/front desk area). This would generally not be a problem, except when we were there several work crews were staying at the hotel and literally took over the breakfast area. The crowding was too much. We had a few minutes wait (not a concern) at front desk at checkin and checkout. The desk was staffed by someone who had other duties and was scurrying around and appeared harried and almost bothered by our presence (more of a concern). Interior condition of shuttle van left a lot to be desired. Well worn and in need of serious cleaning. My experience at this BW Plus (both service and property condition) did not measure up to expectations that were based on other stays at BW Plus properties. We stayed here for an early morning flight. So for one night, it was OK. And special kudos to the shuttle driver that took us to the airport. He was super and started our day on a bright note amid the chaos in the hotel lobby/breakfast area. So not to recommend here. Sadly.

I booked a room today for Feburary 2020 through Expedia. I accidentally booked it for the day I was departing Chicago. I realized this five minutes after making the booking. I immediately called the hotel and Monica informed in a rude manner that the request to make the change had to come from Expedia. I then called Expedia who called the hotel to request a date correction. The person from Expedia told me they denied the request and that she was very rude about it. I'm not sure why Monica thinks it is ok to be so rude to potential customers and business partners. My next step was to call the hotel and ask for a manager. I was told there was no manager on duty and that they would be there on Monday but she had no idea what time or hours. I understand that I booked through a third party but it seems like a shady business practice to not correct a booking error five minutes after it was made three months in advance. Basically, if I cancel they get my money and the opportunity to sell the room again. I was looking to rebook at this hotel. I would even understand if there was a rebooking fee or a price increase for the room, but taking my money for no service rendered should not be legal.

We were generally pleased with our stay at the BW Plus O'Hare South. What was particularly notable was the fact that the staff arranged for an early opening of the breakfast room so we could have breakfast before catching a 5:30am shuttle. That was unexpected and appreciated. We booked a King room, and when checking in the front desk told us that there were no Kings left on the "quiet" side of the hotel, but we could have a two queen room. We didn't think about it much and took the King; it was fine, but light sleepers should be aware that the road noise on the street side of the hotel can be significant. I wear hearing aids, so it wasn't a huge problem for me as I don't wear them at night so the noise is naturally dampened. Others would be well advised to pick the quiet side of the hotel.

Checking into this hotel was smooth and easy I was offered the quick check out. The room was very comfy and cozy. Fresh linens and a great breakfast in the morning. THe staff really completes all our requests prior to our stay

The property was very outdated for a BW plus property, the staff was friendly and helpful though. The arms of the chair in room were worn through. The breakfast was nice though, and the airport transportation was on time.

The staff goes over and above to make sure you have what you need; they even sent their shuttle to pick up our dinner from a local restaurant—at no charge (of course, we gave the driver a tip). And, the breakfast bar is one of the best I've seen for a continental buffet. Very clean, and abundance of offerings (waffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, English muffins, sausage, potatoes, etc.). Room was large and well appointed. Absolutely no complaints—a real value for the money!

This hotel is very easy to find, since it is located on a busy highway. The parking lot is not very roomy, but it was fairly empty and easy to find a place to park. The employees were very friendly and professional and also offered a late check-out to me because I am a Best Western Rewards Platinum member. I had a King bedroom with a whirlpool. The room was clean and organized. There was a loose piece of flooring between the whirlpool flooring and the carpeting that my fiance tripped on once. There was also a large spider in the bathroom that I had to deal with because my fiance does not like spiders. Overall, I would stay here again. The location is good and quiet. The price is reasonable and the staff are excellent.

My husband and I did a reverse sleep and fly here Aug 24. Months prior to our stay I made our reservation based on their 24 hr free shuttle to the airport since our flight got in after 11 pm. I called the hotel at 11:30pm on the night we got in and they said they would be there in 15 to 20 mins. A half hr went by and still no shuttle so I called at midnight and she said the driver went home and that she was sending a crown vic to pick us up. What????!! Another 25 mins went by and a black,dirty, smoke smelling, beat up car shows up. We got in because we were tired but this was NOT the shuttle service we payed for. I did talk to bestwestern about our experience and the best they could do was say sorry....This is unacceptable and we will not be staying at this hotel in the future Look elsewhere especially if you need transportation to the airport.

When we came down for breakfast the TV was on a liberal news channel. We were the only ones at breakfast at the time and requested that the day manager change the channel. She said she "couldn't", but could turn down the volume. Then she retrieved the TV remote and turned it down, not enough that we didn't still have to listen. What kind of idiots did she think we were, that the TV remote would turn down the volume but not change the channel or turn it off? This manager had no business imposing her personal/political views on customers. Also had problems with the A/C in the room and the elevator didn't work.

An overall pretty nice hotel. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. It was not noisy which was a plus. Breakfast was pretty good. The only thing I have bad to say about the hotel it is that parking is kind of hard to get in to. Very narrow spots and if you leave and come back later in the evening you really have to search for a place to park your car.

This hotel is in a great location for a one night stay when flying in or out of Chicago O'Hare airport. While the hotel is showing it's age, it is clean and the service was A++! Art was working the main desk and I have never felt more welcome. He even called shortly after we checked in asking us if our room is OK and if we had any questions. Once we were settled in our room, we decided to order a pizza delivery from a local restaurant. When Art found out at the front desk, he made sure the pizza came with paper plates and napkins. This hotel might be an older hotel, BUT it is close to the airport with a free shuttle. Shout out to Art..... Thank you Art for help!

Not in the best location. Is a short drive from Rosemont/ O'Hare airport. Lobby and hallways drab and carpet stained/dirty. Room was clean/acceptable. Staff pleasant. Jun 25, 2019 The staff Seemed very scattered brained. I was 45mins late to the airport (one of the reasons I was late was because he was taking someone to where they needed to go that wasn't his responsibility and then badmouthed the gentlemen because he didn't tip him). The gentlemen doing the shuttle acted like he didn't know what he was doing. He asked me multiple times where I needed to go and what he was suppose to do with me. It was absolutely ridiculous. I was so frustrated I found my own way back to the hotel from the airport. Also, the hotel needs a renovation. Somewhat run down. Carpet had lots of stains, bathroom has hair still in it. I have stayed at Best Western before and had a good experience so this was very disappointing. I would not use this location again.

We checked in here last minute. The parking was horrendous. It was so packed and lot spaces so small we had to back put the car to get out. (I'm not a big woman either). However, we were very tired and we had a wonderful friendly face from the front desk guy Art. He was very warm and welcoming. Got us in to a good room and we slept really well. No complaints. The only reason I give it 3 stars is there were tips in our carpet in the room and chair was dated and worn.

My stay with my family was marred by unprofessional behavior from staff. Check in was uneventful at 1800 hrs.We went a few times to get our luggage. The room was clean. We were later awoken by another guest trying to enter the room at 1200 am. This was followed by two terse phone calls ftom frontdesk stating they had no record of us checking in. The front desk person hung up before the end of our conversation.The second call from the same employee demanded I come down with my drivers license at 100 am and hung up. I have a toddler who was none too pleased with these calls. Regardless I went down to the front desk with my id.The front desk employee was rude and unprofessional. She informed me that my id was not needed. After waking us up in the middle of the night , having me come at 100 am with my drivers license , she did not have the courtesy to call and let me know that I did not need to come. No apologies or regret was forthcoming. I was deeply disappointed by this behavior. She blamed the error on the check in clerk. I would not stay here with my family in the future. Unfortunately they provide a stay that is marred by unprofessional behavior and nocturnal interuptions due to errors on their end.

First time in Chicago area, we had many questions .Hotel staff google for us and directed us where to go and what to see.Without them we will missed some worth to see places. Hotel is very clean and the hot breakfast is more than you need for breakfast. We were fortunate we pick this hotel.

While traveling home my truck needed some repairs. I searched local hotels and this Best Western pops right up when I checked in the lobby was very nice and the front desk clerk greeted me instantly. It was reasonably priced. Of course I didn't want to turn down the free breakfast.

Best Western breakfast are always great. Bacon and waffles. Hot. The room was Soo neat. They have white fluffy pillows and clean crisp sheets. I enjoyed my stay in Chicago and I would come back to this hotel.

The check in process was very slow. Took 45 minutes to check in 3 rooms. The rooms were not quiet at all. Traffic was very loud and the walls were thin. The room didn't get very dark at night. Lots of light came in through the door and I couldn't get the shades to shut all the way. Additionally, the fitness center had very little equipment. The treadmill looked like it was from the 90's. Didn't have any place to set belongings. Had no lower body weight equipment.

Getting to this hotel was very easy. The shuttle picked me up. The free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was very convenient because I did have a lot of work to do. And I got a free meal in the morning a hot breakfast.

Upon arriving at O'Hare airport and picking up my luggage I called the hotel and ask for a shuttle pick up. It took about 15 minutes for the shuttle to get there. And it took another 10 minutes to drive to the location. My room was ready. Was very clean the free breakfast, excuse me hot breakfast was great.

My company sent me to this hotel. We had a convention nearby and this hotel was a very convenient location. It was plenty of places to go out to eat after. The staff was very kind and the housekeeping was very excellent.

Flights from O'Hare airport were cancelled and had to spend the night, looked for a reasonably priced hotel with a free shuttle. Even though it was snowing it was an easy walk to several fast food restaurants such as KFC, White Castle, Pizza Hut and Subway, convenience stations for sodas, beer, and snacks are there along with a small supermarket. The room was clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was much better than I expected with waffles plus (e.g., chocolate chips, etc), hot choice (e.g. eggs, sausage), and cereal. The down side was that as I was making the reservation the price changed from $81 to $116. can't really blame them for taking advantage of increased demand.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We were visiting family in the area and found this hotel to be a “quiet place to retreat at the end of the day. The complementary breakfast is convenient, but there is a Starbucks nearby if you want something else. The hotel is convenient with Main Rd., Manheim but you don't hear the roads at all.

This property is an easy head from Chicago's O'Hare Airport, without tolls too! It's been upgraded since my last stay and the staff is amazing. Art help me secure a great room on the first floor and everyone was exceptionally helpful. Everything work properly in the room, towels and sheets were soft. TV options are never ending. I enjoy the area yes I will be back.

I always try to stay in a BW when in the USA as they are always great quality. This particular hotel is also great. I was picked up by the free shuttle at the airport (call them when you land and have your luggage) and also dropped back the following day. They are only like 10 minutes from the terminals. Staff was friendly and accommodating, check-in was easy, the rooms are great. Had a very good sleep. Breakfast was also good with plenty to choose from. Would and will use again.

We used this hotel as a home base for day trips to Chicago on our way from Indiana to California. The front desk staff was very helpful and found us connecting rooms. Flight landed after shuttle service ended. I called and was told on the phone when I made a reservation that the hotel would call me a taxi, no problem, and to call once my flight landed. I called (it was close to midnight) and was on hold for half an hour before they said that they could not call me a taxi, didn't know why I was told that they could, and that I would have to get myself there. I ubered there after midnight, and while checking in THEY WERE ARRANGING A TAXI FOR SOMEONE ELSE. There were also two women in the lobby who said they had been promised a taxi, only to have to uber. I have no idea why this other guy got a taxi and we did not. I have called for the past two days asking to speak to a manager. Apparently this manager comes in at 3pm and leaves at 3:30pm because I have been unable to reach her, and each time I'm told that she'll come at 3 and/or left at 3:30. At least the front desk staff are friendly.

The room was well appointed, very clean, the bed was comfortable, there was Free Wi-Fi and a refrigerator and microwave. Exterior of hotel is terrible and the interior is better but not by much. The rooms are acceptable and clean. They have a decent breakfast and good coffee, but the cream was spoiled. The area is dreadful and dull, an overnight stay is ok but that's about it.

This hotel is updated with large double beds. It is close enough to the airport gor ubers lyfs tacis to pick you up at anytime. But thegreat part is the hotel offers a free airport shuttle. My hudband and i have reserved our return stay here because it has been a great stay.

Upon entering the lobby it was extremely clean very nice.there was fresh coffee. The hotel did not meet my expectations of a Best Western PLUS....it is more like a Motel 6. It is advertised as a non-smoking hotel, but the guest(s) in the adjacent room were smoking. There were heaps of dirty linens on the floor outside of guest rooms when we checked in after midnight. The leather side chair and ottoman in the room were worn and cracked. 1/2 of the rooms face a very busy, noisy street. Hallway carpeting needs cleaned and/or replaced.

The room was clean and quiet, the parking lot very well lit. The check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very caring and considerate. Excellent service. The mattress could have been more comfortable, but I have a really nice mattress at home, so this comment may be slightly unfair. Overall a good stay, I would stay here again the next time I need to be close to the airport early in the morning.

Very nice ladies on the front desk both at check-in and check out. Room clean and comfortable. I had a room at the front so there was some traffic noise. There appeared to be plenty of parking. Not much in the immediate area according to the shuttle bus driver. When arriving you need to call the hotel to tell them where you are for the shuttle bus (there a several numbered doors spread over about a quarter of a mile at the airport shuttle bus centre). I must have been very tired by this stage as I could not get the number to work either on my mobile phone or from a pay phone. Yes, still a couple of pay phones in the waiting area! I was fortunate that a lovely lady at the main BW reservation number called the hotel for me. The hotel phone worked fine – just me being thick though still not sure how. The shuttles to the airport are scheduled to leave on the half hour and you sign up for the time you want at the front desk. I believe the bus drops you back at the shuttle bus centre. However, the hotel got me a taxi the next morning and I was dropped at the check-in area for my airline. Very impressed with the service all round. Thank you.

I would like to thank Maria the hotel manager and her front desk assistant Art for there kindness and professionalism. My flight cancelled due to weather related issues and I had to cancel under the 24 hour notice that is the requirement. Maria reimbursed me with no problem since I am a Diamond member. horrible customer service. Trying to finish expense report and just need copy of the receipt. it's been a week now. Front desk people lied to me and told me BW has a company wide policy that all receipts have to be requested by email to the General Manager. Ok, so sent the email on Tuesday, never got a response, sent another request yesterday, no response. Between Me and my accounting department we have called at least 4 times this week to speak to the GM only to be told every time that she is not in. Yesterday I was told she would be in on Saturday from 9am till 3pm. Front desk tells me she is out. NO ONE IS WILLING TO HELP ME. I book Bestwestern hotels all over the country , just called one in California and had NO PROBLEM getting a receipt with 1 simple quick phone call. Location in California told me there is NO company wide policy that receipts can only be requested by email. I book about 20 different hotels every week and NEVER EVER have I had a hotel jerk me around like this.

BW+ saved the day offering a clean, safe, and competitively priced hotel. The S. Mannheim Rd - same Road as O'Hare - is opposite most major hotels BUT when Chicago hotel occupancy rate approaches sold out due to a major convention it is nice to have a pleasant experience and not get gouged. After taking the shuttle bus to O'Hare and walking downstairs to the CTA to catch the Blue Line + Green Line to McCormick, the commute was a breeze and only costs $10. Save you Corporate cash, enjoy the City and take mass transit to a stay in a similar room to those offered in the Loop for 1/3 the price.

My mother and I recently stayed here to save some money on hotels downtown. The hotel is basic as expected For the price . Our room had a fowl smell coming the toilet which in turn made the whole bathroom smell .. it was as if they mopped the floor with urine. Gross . Also our entire days we were there it was very noisy . Other than that the beds are comfortable and the staff is very nice. Breakfast isn't worth waking up for .

I was very happy with my room, which I needed for a one night layover before a flight mid morning the next day. Clean, comfortable, nice beds and pillows, very helpful staff. The evening desk clerk, Jessica, even fixed my tv (no sound, cable unplugged) quickly while I went out to walk over to Sonic Drive In for dinner. Morning desk clerk Monica also very helpful. If you have no car, be aware their O'Hare airport shuttle is only ONE van. It can take up to 30 minutes each way in traffic, so that means the van may only run 1X each hour. So expect delays (it may not leave on the hour as scheduled) and be sure to call the front desk to tell them you are waiting upon arrival at the airport so they can look for you. Also with no car, there is no restaurant close by. You can walk along a very busy street to get to a traffic light and can then cross, about 5 minutes away, to a White Castle, Sonic, or Starbucks. There is also a CVS Pharmacy at that intersection for minor grocery items. An alternative is to use the microwave and small mini refrigerator in the room. In the hotel lobby they sell a few items that you can microwave in your room. TV's are big and nice and new with plenty of good stations. Free breakfast had very limited seating but had basic items including cereals, juice (sort of weak and watery), and hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. If I am not in a hurry, I would easily come back here in the future as the price is very competititve compared to the bigger closer-to-O'Hare hotels.

Hotel is well run, friendly staff, information on the shuttle could be better since the taxi from the airport to the hotel was 30$. Otherwise a good stay and the breakfast is very comprehensive and they manage to make sure that everything is always available.

I stayed here for 3 days while I was in Chicago to see the Cubs and White Sox. This is a no thrill motel. It is close to O'hare airport and they do offer a free shuttle from the airport to the motel and then back. However they do charge for shuttles to any local areas(restaurants, CTA or any where else) up to 10.00 each way. The breakfast is ok but not excellent. Staff and shuttle drivers where all very nice and accommodating. There are a few places to eat fairly close with in 1/2 mile and a lot within a mile. The road next to the motel is very busy and if you are on the road side there is some road noise. I found that if I wanted to walk to the shopping mall a mile away that if you walk one block behind the motel and then walk down the side street you can avoid the heavy traffic. There is a very nice little park right behind the motel.

Check in was easy , parking lot accessible , plenty of space. Room was clean and hotel was quiet.Would come back again.Didnt have breakfast because we came to the room late so we overslep. Chekout was really fast as well

Hotel facility itself was clean and my Room was clean as well but lacking some detail. Breakfast was typical and nothing out of the ordinary. Employees could be a little more friendlier as it felt very limited and very forced when attempting to engage in conversation. Rate was a little more than expected. Would choose this Hotel again as a second choice when in the area.

I travel alot for work and this place's breakfast was more than muffins and coffee!!! I was happy to have a hot breakfast finally after 2 months of muffin breakfasts! The rooms are nice(ish) and the AC works wonders! The service is awesome and the maids are wonderful! None of them acted put out when I asked for extra supplies, very friendly.

My experience here was excellent here and will be visiting here again soon i enjoyed the cleanliness and how much the people at the front desk cared about my stay here when i come back i will be staying again

A routine, 3.5 hour flight from Portland to Chicago turns into an 8-hour grind, complete with a diversion to Milwaukee due to thunderstorms at O'Hare. We finally arrive at this hotel at 2am. I'm starved, and casually mention this to Cherry, the delightful, kind-hearted woman managing the front desk. In an instant, she leads me to the breakfast storage area and offers me a banana, an apple and hard boiled egg to tie me over until breakfast! I mean, who does this for a guest at 2am? Cherry the saint, that's who! (I needed a culinary metaphor for saint in the title) As for the hotel, it's a great Mannheim Road value for an over-nighter, either before or after a flight at O'hare. For specific good stuff, just check out the other positive reviews.

Man car broke down on the way to rockford was comeing from river grove had to stop by and check the hotel out heard good things about it and dident think it was true because of the neighboredhood it was in but i check out a room and it was wonderful the rooms are so clean there no bugs or rats and it dont smell bad its smells so good i slept so good in that comfortable bed and had a good moring breakfest.

Our flight was cancelled due to the weather so we were stuck in ohare for the night. Airport accommodation are us up with this hotel. They were very quick to pick us up and had a nice room for us .. The Jacuzzi room is amazing very spacious rooms clean the lobby is nicely decorated the hot continental breakfast in the morning was very filling they do have a pool but it's not open yet there are a lot of shops and places to eat they also have takeout menus there is a restaurant that they recommend that is very good

We stayed here by accident as were left by our connecting flight due to some technical problems in passport areas. We were so exhausted as we were back and forth in the airport with a toddler and had to spent 3 hours at the immigration. When we got into this hotel the receptionist was very and that he understood how tiring it was. Offered free water and made sure our stay was good. Breakfast was good too. Recommended.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time atthis hotel. It is close to the outket mall and they have easy access to the airport. The staff is soo nice and informative. They have their own parking lot so that was never an issue to find parking. There are also plenty of places to go eat around this hotel.

The staff really knows the area well so I always had somewhere new to go explore. This hotel is so close to the city I was able to get an uber for cheap. The rooms are so clean and well kept. This is a really nice hotel with great breakfast and a free shuttle hotel to and from the hotel. It is not to far from the hotel and you can call the shuttle anytime. They also have really good breakfast available.

I always love stopping at the Best western In franklin park. The staff makes you feel sooo welcome and the breakfast gets a 10/10. The decor is soo modern and perfectly planned out. The rooms are always impeccable. I always call ahead to make my reservation because they book fast! Great hotel.

Not a fancy place, stayed here on layover gone awry, staff members Art and Cherry made the layover as comfortable as possible, they were kind, knowledgeable,and efficient. Whoever manages the place is to be complimented as well for hiring people with natural customer service and friendliness; even the kitchen guy had lovely manners, offering fresh coffee and a donut at my 11pm arrival! The room itself was more spacious than anticipated and perfectly spotless with all appliances in working order. I've been to many a 4/5 star hotel with faulty remote controls or noisy air conditioners. No such annoyances here. The exterior of the hotel and lobby appear very dowdy, but the rooms are much more up to date in style. The cleanliness, friendly and knowledgeable staff (local food delivery after 2am, they can help) were a pleasant surprise.

The stay overall was pretty nice. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. Defiantly would consider another stay at this hotel. I did run into some problems during check in as our rooms were switched up but the problem was quickly solved by the hotel staff. Overall great stay at the hotel.

The Hotel looks just as beautiful as pictures show. Our room was super clean and comfortable. We just spend one night and a shuttle was organized for us to bring us to the Airport. And also the Restaurant and breakfast were delicious. We were also able to leave our car in their parking lot during the time we left Chicago. 100% request!

Our family arrived at Best Western at the last minute after a mishap at another hotel. The staff booked us a wonderful room immediately and went out if there way to make sure that we were comfortable and have everything we needed. They also offered us a better rate then the previous hotel! We had such a great experience, I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family!

We stayed here during a snow storm before flying out from O'hare Airport. Great access to the airport from Mannheim Road. The breakfast offered a wide variety of hot food - scrambled eggs, tator tots, bacon, waffles, toast. Good fruit and juice selection. Our room had nice decor and was very clean. The price seemed more reasonable than those hotels tucked right by O'hare. Helpful staff.

Great value. Free parking. On a busy street but soundproofing was superb. Didn't hear a thing. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast tasty and ample. Were there for family event so don't know how airport connections would work, but staff was very nice and well informed so I suspect that everything they do is done well.

I booked a king with a whirlpool tub, it was super nice and relaxing. The room was exceptionally spacious. The bed was really comfy and we slept great. My bf utilized the work out center which he said was really great. Definetly would stay again.

Our recent stay at this best western was terrific very surprised as we walked in at decor and room was lovely and clean and warm , Sherri at the front desked really helped out in accommodating us and breakfast was fulfilling with selection we will definitely stay here again to enjoy all other amenities as well thank you to all the staff at best western.

I booked 2 rooms 1 was cancelled without notifying me causing out of state family members to have to last minute find another hotel. I have been getting the run around in regards to my refund for the room they charged me for then cancelled.

If you need a place very near ORD for business stay, this is a very good mid level choice, far below the cost of the big name chains but far better in quality than the cheap-o low end chains that have run down rooms. I recommend it as a nice mid range option.

the hotel looks newly renovated and clean. more importantly the staff was excellent with their service. it is great value for your money. the hotel also offers discounted parking while you fly. granting the location is not the closest to O hare (2 minute drive difference), it's all worth it for the price and service you get.

This location is amazing. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. It is approximately 12 miles from Downtown Chicago and only about 2 miles from O'Hare Airport. I had a function at the Music Box Theater and I only had to navigate two streets to get where I wanted to be. The hotel is very clean. The room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay a great deal. I had a good nights sleep with not outside noise to keep me awake. I definitely would recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Chicago without paying Downtown prices but getting Downtown quality. A perfect Stay!!!

I've stayed at this hotel several times now, and will continue to do so, especially since we now have a child attending a university that's close by. The breakfast is good, and beds are comfortable, and overall, a great hotel!!

Stayed here 2 nights whilst holidaying from Australia. We arrived by car, there was plenty of room to park Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, the bed was comfortable, it had a fridge and microwave. There was some street noise you could here in your room, being on a major road. There was nothing really close by, but we had a car so were able to drive to shops. We drove to the nearby train station and parked the car for the day (very cheap – only $1.50 all day, with plenty of spots) and went into Chicago city area by train to go sightseeing for the day. Breakfast wasn't outstanding but ok, a selection of hot and cold foods. Location was close to the airport. We were flying out to Canada early when we left, so this was one of the reasons for choosing to stay here.

The Hotel is close to airport if you are flying; For Chicago it is a Plus that you don't pay for Parking.Staff are nice and helpful, Its close to some restaurants stores and banks / pharmacy. Price is great for the value

We booked this hotel for one night stay and I traveled from Madison to Chicago by Coach USA bus. The bus left me at terminal 1. From terminal 1 (departure level 1). So I had to come down (G level) to take the hotel shuttle bus. Since the bus will leave you on your right, you must cross the road and walk towards the Hilton hotel. All hotel shuttles start in front of this hotel door no. 2 (so just follow the Hotel Signage). It was late evening and I was also waiting for the shuttle as many others were also waiting. I left other shuttles which were having hotel name (Best Western but in Black). The shuttle with the name of the hotel (Best Western Plus...) in Red letters (which is a logo for this Best Western too and there was a huge rush to get on the bus, I also boarded the shuttle. Since I had already seen online that my hotel is only 12-13 min from the pickup point. So when this shuttle was running and running for more than 30 min, I realized something wrong, but I did not bother the driver in the night time. He took us to another hotel with an exact same name but in Glenview area. I told the driver that it is not my hotel and my hotel has same name and logo but different. He was annoyed and started lecturing me. Anyways it was my fault so I bribed him with 10 dollars to take me back to the same point from where he picked. Then finally he did and I reached to my destined hotel by another shuttle. It took me almost 90 mints, huge embarrassment and money too. So friends be careful and check twice before boarding the shuttle, even if there is a rush to get in. It is better to wait for another shuttle rather than getting on the wrong bus. What happened to me should not happen to others. The driver of this bus and the driver of my actual hotel both mentioned that I was not the first one, such incidences keep on happening between these two hotels. In fact, there are 5 hotels with the name of Best Westerns in Chicago, but you need to read between words.

My college age son stayed at this hotel before flying out of O'Hare. The owner and front desk were very accommodating in helping me coordinate his check in even though he didn't have my credit card with him! My son found the hotel to be wonderful. In particular, he found that there were lots of good options for breakfast. This says a lot coming from a vegetarian competitive runner.

We used to be able to bring our dog with when we came to visit our son & family. We were informed that is no longer possible. Also the room had a strong odor & it wasn't as clean as it has been in the past

I stayed in the hotel for just one night after a long flight from Europe. Shortly after entering the room a front desk receptionist called me asking if everything OK and if I have any concerns. I was not sure about my room noise level because it was facing busy road. She offered to move me to opposite (quieter) side of the hotel. I declined to change rooms because I was tired and hoped that road noise will not be an issue and it was not an issue at all. I slept so well. I was very impresses with a bed -the mattress was very comfortable and all bed linens were so nice like in 4-5 star hotel. I got very good sleep. In the morning I took a hotel shuttle back to airport and the lady driver was very helpful too. Thank you

The hotel is perfect if you just need to spend the night close to the airport. They have a shuttle service, good breakfast and the rooms are comfortable. It just close to (I guess) a railway passing because every hour during the night you hear a train loudly honking so bring earplugs!

Our complimentary shuttle to O'Hare was leaving at 5:30 am but even though breakfast wasn't suppose to start until 6, they had waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. ready for our family at 5am just so we got to eat! It was delicious and our 2 rooms were great.

Want for my 1 year anniversary the room was clean and I enjoyed the whirlpool tub was very relaxing. The hotel staff was very helpful and the free Breakfast was just so convenient with the stay. I will visit again very soon.

This was my first time staying at Best Western. I chose it for the low price and proximity to airport. The rooms were ok and I didn't find any reason to complain. I grabbed coffee for breakfast, so I can't attest to the quality of the free breakfast. If you're luck enough to be serviced by Art, then consider yourself lucky. He was very well versed in the area for food recommendations and provided exceptionally service!

Hotel is a bit dated and not as close to the airport as other properties. But the extremely friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, and the equally friendly airport shuttle drivers made this a great stay.

This was my 3rd stay with the same ownership and some of the same employees such as Monica who has been there many years. Her professionalism is contagious because the newer Associates equally reflect her example and patience. The value and location has served me well and this hotel is easily 4 stars in overall quality with most of the staff treating customers at a 5 star level.

Stayed for just one night, it was alright, nothing outstanding. Room was clean but everything seemed a Bit outdated. There were signs for a pool but when we called to ask about it we were told it was unavailable.. not sure what that means. Breakfast was decent enough. Manager was nice, she'd say hi and chat if you saw her in the hall. It did the job for what we needed - a quick overnight stay.

Affordable ok hotel near the airport. Shuttle service to o'hare airport. Rooms ok, kinda worn but clean. Bed was ok and room aircon was working but quite loud. I would not spend holiday here but as missed flight it was a place to crash.

The hotel was supposed to be renovated but besides the lobby/breakfast area and furniture in the rooms I didn't see anything else. The room was minimally clean. Some stained sheets that were cleaned but can't get the stains out it seems and weird stuff on the shower that had an ick factor along with some left over of someones hair. The halls were a bit dingy and dirty along with broken a/cs which the hotel cleaning staff was complaining about how hot is was. Had a nice refrigerator, microwave, and tv in the room. The weird thing was the light switches were in weird places. The bathroom light switch was on the outside of it and the light switch for the sink is literally in the closet. The breakfast was pretty good nice selection. If the staff would be trained in better cleanliness and maintenance was done it would help a lot. Been to quite a few Best Westerns and this one needs some help in the cleanliness and for sure maintenance. It was what it needed to be for one night.

I was pleasantly surprised when staying for one night before we flew out of O'Hare for our week in Mexico. Our room was nice, and the staff was great especially Art at the font desk and Tony who drives the airport shuttle. We stayed for one night, but we parked our car in the hotel lot for 7 additional nights for a great stay & park rate. I would recommend for anyone who needs a hotel when flying out of O'Hare.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It gave night us exactly what we needed, which was a quiet night of rest. The breakfast was also very good and gave us a lot of choices. The elevator gt oave us a little bit of trouble and we had to wait for the shuttle for a long time, but overall it was a satisfying experience

Pool doesn't work. Was told there was a shuttle at 230AM to find out that they couldn't do it so they were going to call a taxi to come get half of my group and come back for the other half... so I paid 40 for the park and fly and ended up spending 32 on Uber... told so many things and none of it delivered! ... beds are super squicky. Tried to charge me 25 bucks for a roll away AFTER explaining a bunch of probablems... hair and plastic bags in the shower...so gross! my wife will write a better/worse review than this...I could type way more but instead will be taking it up with a manager

Everything was excellent from the inside to the outside. The Desk Clerks were great. The morning Desk clerk was amazing much like Wonder Women, she was dealing with guests checking out and keeping the breakfast stocked. Beware of the Eggs and Sausage though they are disgusting.

I liked staying at this Best Western because it was a great value with friendly staff. They more than met my expectations for survice and quality. These folks went above and beyond a couple of times during my stay to make this hotel one of my must stay here again list.

This hotel is excellent for business trips. They have nice, comfortable, quiet and clean rooms. There are many restaurants with delivery or within walking distance. Their staff are friendly and very helpful. They provide an excellent shuttle transportation back and forth to O'Hare Airport.

The staff went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The room was clean with plush bedding. The shuttle staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small fitness area that I was unable to use due to an early flight and the fitness center didn't open until 6:00 a.m. The staff accommodated our early flight with nourishment even though it wasn't scheduled to be served until 6:00 a.m. My only disappointment was that the pool was closed for repairs. Definitely would stay again. Cost efficient Park and Fly vs. Airport parking garage, parking lot.

I stayed here in business. I called ahead by about an hour or so. This amazing guy name Art promised to hold a room for me. I arrived and he greeted me with absolute above and beyond professionalism. He made sure my shuttle I needed the next day was scheduled. He also called my room about 10 minutes after I checked in to see if the room was everything I needed and was great. Being an Over The Road bus driver, I stay in a lot of hotels but, I haven't been treated with such amazing above and beyond service and professionalism in a very long time; and I've stayed at Hiltons and hotels of that stature. Thank you Art!

Great room, slept like a baby, clean, service was great, employees were very nice. Jacuzzi was amazing and relaxing. Not loud, internet connection was not so great but do-able. Overall, would definitely come back.

I chose this hotel based on the photo shown at the time of booking. Room did NOT match; photo was of an upgraded room. Staff refused to give me the pictured room and refused any upgrade whatsoever. Price of booking dropped $35 the day after my booking and staff refused to match the price- considering the bait and switch, that seemed extra inflexible. Room was clean, but heat did not work unless turned up to 90. Could not fall asleep until 2am because I was freezing.

We arrived late after a 9 hour flight from Europe. The shuttle driver, Tony, arrived promptly after we called Jesus at the hotel to request pickup. Tony was friendly and for a short time helped lift our spirits and made us forget how tired we were. Jesus quickly checked us in upon our arrival at the hotel and we went to our clean, nicely appointed room. There was a single cup coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Unfortunately we were too tired to enjoy the coffee or make use of the microwave. We had a room on the street side of the hotel which they say could be a little noisy, but if you're tired, you aren't going to notice. The room was a good size with 2 comfortable queen size beds and lots of pillows to snuggle in. The air conditioner ran fairly quietly and cooled the room well. The lavatory was separate from the toilet and shower. Again we didn't really have time to use these facilities but did notice nice fluffy white towels in the bathroom. As we prepared to leave at 4:30 AM, Cherry, the desk attendant, had breakfast ready as she knew many of the guests were leaving earlier than the usual 6 AM start time. Guests could dine on fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, french toast, assorted pastries, fruit, juices, cold cereal, and fresh coffee. Lanny, the shuttle driver, quickly transported us to the airport and bid us farewell and safe travels. This isn't the Hilton or Waldorf but it is a great place to rest a weary body between flights. The staff is super great and ease the tensions of stressful air travel, or any travel.

Price was good but there was a lot of traffic noise, in addition to the noise, we had a king size bed and it was rock hard and the pillows were lumpy, during check out I wasn't offered how I would like to pay, I had wanted to pay cash but she had already ran my card and never even asked how our stay was or how I would like to pay.

I just stayed at this hotel over the weekend, I loved the whole time I was there. Jesus at the Front Desk was very helpful and friendly to me when I checked in the Friday night. The Airport shuttle came timely and didn't have any problems, the gentleman driver was very nice and helpful. My hotel room was very clean and comfortable especially the bathroom, and everything else was great. The morning breakfast was tasty and great especially the items from White Castle. I loved the Juice they had, the waffle maker they had and the other items they had to choose from. I will definitely be staying again at this hotel when I come to visit Chicago again soon. Hotel was average but...staff was excellent! Ray was very helpful during a stressful situation while traveling. Everyone else very helpful-they put breakfast out early for our early departure. Shuttle great right on time. Room reeked of cleaner, interior ok. Good place to stay if you need an overnight close to the airport. Really can't say enough about the staff.

the rooms actually look as described, hotel is near the airport, have free shuttle, and service is quite good, you can build your own breakfast, and there is a fast food restaurant that delivers 24/7, the only thing with the restaurant is that you need to check your order is complete/correct

I stayed here while business trip to Franklin Park. The price is fair and breakfast can be included. Breakfast contains serial, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, minced meat mini stakes, a possibility to make wafer and toast bread... So pretty ok, just better not to expect a full continental breakfast, though. The hotel has indoor pool and a gym which I didn't have a chance to use, so unfortunately I'm not able to tell more than there are such. The rooms were tidy and quite big. Nothing fancy, yet nothing was missing either. The bed was great, not too soft but not too hard either. The pillows were great as well as were the towels. The shower was quite poor and it took a while to be able to get hot water (could be that that is the case in states in general though). The water pressure was not too great either even though I wasn't located on the top (4th) floor. The hotel has free Wireless LAN, but it's not secured, so please consider VPN or similar to ensure Your privacy. I also had some hard time with the WiFi, the connection got lost every now and then. It was working far better in the upper floors of the hotel, so I assume the antenna is somewhere there. Should You work from Your room, please have it from upper floors. In general this is a quiet hotel, although there were a lot of guests coming and going. My room didn't face the street, so the room was pretty quiet. The next room neighbor though woke me up at one night with the sound of the TV. I don't know whether the TV had its volume high or are the wall just so thin. The hotel is located pretty far away from “everything” so I suggest You have a car to be able to come and go as You please. There is a shuttle service to airport, but not sure whether they take You to other places. Public transport is not an option. At least I couldn't see any bus stops or anything nearby. There are few gas stations and markets near by the hotel, but no big shopping malls etc. nearby. We drove all the way to Woodfield mall which was awesome and not that far away, but for sure You need a car for that. If You are going to downtown Chicago from this hotel, I'd suggest You drive up to Rosemont and leave Your car there for 10 $ / 14 hours (parking in downtown Chicago is 7 - 10 $ / hour). From Rosemont You should take a train to downtown. I'd say if You have business in Franklin park or don't mind the longer travel to malls or downtown this hotel is for You. If You are looking for luxury, good public transportation or short distance to downtown, please check out other alternatives. There should be plenty.

Night manager was annoyed by our visit. Refused a shuttle ride to a restaurant that the shuttle driver offered to give us. After explaining we have Celiac Disease, are hungry and have been traveling all night, he handed me to pizza menus and said that's all he can offer. The room smelled like smoke from someone smoking on our floor. The original room we reserved we were told smelled like smoke so he downgraded the room. That room was dirty. So we were moved again. The shuttle driver wanted to go to the airport early so we were unable to eat breakfast.

Choose another hotel, any hotel as this one is BAD. First they have wifi but the internet is basically so slow that it is unusable. Slower than 1 MBPS based upon speediest.net. Front dest re-set which did nothing other than knock out ant service at all. Secondly there were feces stains on the wash cloth. Was disgusting. I have eaten many hotel free breakfast but what was offered at this hotel was uneatable. The instant eggs were gritty and one bite of sausage patty revealed a frozen inside. Horrible hotel! My son and I stayed here. We were in the room less than an hour and went to sleep. The toilet did not work in the morning. I called the front desk and the attendant Monica apologized and said she would send someone up sometime soon. Meanwhile my son and I had no means to go to the bathroom. I asked to speak to the manager and I got Maria. She proceeded to tell me I broke the toilet and it was my fault I did not check it. I got very angry and she hung up on me. She never called me back when I asked for a call back from Monica. Monica was equally incompetent and terrible. Never stay here!!! I had to go to another room of other guests to use their toilet. Embarrassing !!!! Maria W. GM and Monica Front Desk are horrible.

The hotel was only partially full yet they put us in a room right next to the busy street which was noisy all night. There was food in the refrigerator left over from a previous guest, there was paper scraps on the floor of the room, the toilet ran all of the time and the internet was not working most of the time.

We were here for a family member's funeral. Everyone was nice enough. The hotel wasn't bad, but on the lowere end compared to other Best Western Plusses that we have experienced. Staff was warm, but did not follow through with the rate we were promised on the phone. Food was average and hotel was clean, but hallways had an odor. Fine for one night, but if we went again, I would try the Regular Best Western in Rosemont.

The street noise was terrible. Windows old. Shuttle service not clearly spelled out. Long wait at airport. Other guests noisy and tried to get into my room. Shuttle driver tried to help me out by stopping for some food at a drive through and got yelled at by the night manager. There was no food at or near the hotel. I would not recommend this place or ever stay here again. Neighborhood marginal.

Stayed overnight for a flight the next day. The room was clean with wifi, microwave and a good breakfast. There were two fast food places within walking distance. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I spent two nights at Best Western O'Hare International South Hotel in Franklin Park, IL. I was in Chicago for an annual business trip and this hotel provided several amenities at a great price per night. The establishment is clean and well kept, especially the rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

Due to an early flight from O'Hare to Miami and not wanting to wake up in the middle of the night to take a shuttle I began to search for reasonably priced hotel nearby with shuttle service. I have used Best Western many time over the years as my son played ice hockey and was on a travel team. Additionally have used it for pleasure during vacations and having my son stay at the Rockville MD location during a visit. Excellent service, clean and fantastic breakfast offerings.

CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING!!! The internet was super fast, The rooms are nicely decorated and beds are very comfortable. I was very impressed with all the amenities of the room , everything worked perfect. I loved the fact that there was a fresh coffee all day long in the lobby and fresh iced water. I would definitely recommed this hotel to my friends and family.

This hotel is very reasonable for the Chicago O'Hare area. We booked it because of the 24/7 airport shuttle. What we did not realize, if you just want a shuttle to the airport to catch the train downtown it will cost you $10. It is only free if you are going to or from the airport to catch a plane or arrive from a plane. The shuttle pick up/drop off is at door 3 of the bus/shuttle center directly in front of the Marriot hotel.The staff was excellent. Jesus was very personable and helpful. When we left a 3:30 AM, Art had made breakfast so we could grab a bite to eat prior to leaving. Way above and beyond great service! There is no where close to walk to eat near this hotel. There is a Denny's about 4 to 5 blocks away. If you want to try to walk to a CTE train stop (Rosemont) I would not recommend it. It appears about 4 to 5 miles away on very busy highways. The room was quiet and clean but with a hint of cigarette smoke smell. We notified the front desk and they said it was because the room used to be a smoking room. Upon closer inspection the carpet has old cigarette burns in it. All and all, it was a good stay if you are on a tight budget and are not surprised by the extra cost for the airport shuttle to catch a train Again the staff was excellent and if you need a very early shuttle this might be the place to stay as some hotels do not run very early or late. Parking is free.

I stayed here at this hotel earlier and I immensely enjoyed myself and the staff there was very sweet to me even at checkout. The shuttle was great and timely and the gentleman was very patient and accommodating. Then theres the breakfast that they serve, it was very tasty and delicious especially the items from White Castle. When I come to Chicago again in a few months time, I will definitely want to stay here again and I recommend this hotel for a fair price, transportation, and the amenities, I love it!

This place has the rudest front desk people I ever encountered!!! We checked in 20 min early and they charged is an extra $10. They told us that they have a 24 hour shuttle which was not true!!! They stranded us at the airport for two hours at 11:45 at night. The night desk person hung up on us 5 times and was extremely RUDE!!! Do NOT stay here!!!

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel has been recently renovated. Our room was lovely, modern, comfortable, well equipped , and spotlessly clean. The breakfast area was pleasant with a good range of hot and cold options and again very clean and well looked after. There is a gym and indoor pool which we didn't use but looked fine. All the staff we met were excellent and did a great job. The hotel is in the suburbs of Chicago near to the airport. It is very easy to get into Chicago by train from here-there are several stations nearby- approximately 2-4 miles away. Trains are frequent during commuter hours- and take you to Union Street right in the heart of the city- for 5 dollars. If you don't want to pay Chicago hotel prices- much more than twice the cost of this hotel- or drive in a city-and pay high car parking prices and you like using public transport- hotels on the outskirts with good public transport are a great alternative. This one is also very convenient for the airport and for the new fashion outlets. There is no outside sitting area or gardens and we had some problems getting wifi on all of our devices- but overall this was a great hotel.

We stayed there for one night and will never forget that. It is truely unforgetable because the staff, Art, was amazing. He always made sure that were completely satisfied and we had everything we needed. Will definitely go back to this hotel and I recommend it to everybody. We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and were pleasantly surprised how clean and friendly this place was. The breakfast was hot and free, there was plenty to chose from. We also used the pool and a hot tub to relax. Clean room is a big deal for me when staying at any hotel and our room was very clean. Our bed was extra comfy. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. We forgot to pack our toothbrushes but this was not a problem because the hotel staff helped us rightaway with this problem, and we were even given toothpaste. This hotel has great location, it is close to the airport and to the city. Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Best Western we would defenetly stay at this hotel again.

We just stopped for one night after attending a wedding and my husband and I were so impressed by the competent and friendly service we received when arriving. My husband and I both use canes and the staff insisted on helping us with our luggage. They could not have been nicer. Every employee in every capacity that we encountered until our check out was exceptionally courteous and friendly. Our room was lovely and, most important, very clean. Lighting for putting on makeup could have been a little better, however, and that was the only small negative at this hotel. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We liked to stay at this hotel near the airport because returning the vehicle was very accessible to the nearby rental agency near the O'Hare Airport. It took five minutes to drop the vehicle at the rental centre before the airport - it was our pleasure.

Comfortable room, good bed and surprisingly quiet location. Decent value for Chicago. Good wifi. The shuttle was a little slow from the airport. But it was timely on the following day. Breakfast choices were adequate, but not a lot of variety and the dining area is very small. There are a few fast food choices within easy walking distance. A bonus for families is a small city park right behind the hotel.

This hotel has been upgraded by throwing new paint and furniture at it. Was done in such a sloppy fashion that it probably would be better off if nothing but a good cleaning had been done. The water pressure is REALLY BAD.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Franklin Park,Illinois for 5 nights starting June 9th. I had a very relaxing time the room was clean and nice and the staff was out of this world. They were VERY accommodating quite nice and friendly and were quite helpful with any request that I made. They even gave me a ride in the hotel van to a local restaurant one night for dinner and came and got me when I was done. The breakfast bar was quite nice and tasty warm well prepared food. This hotel has horrible management. My wife and I travel for our company extensively and attempted to make reservations via phone multiple times since we were going to be working in the area. We do use the CLC corporate lodging program for our hotels. We attempted multiple tims to make a reservation to stay here and they either did not want to make the reservation or not for all the days we needed. And yes they did have rooms available for our entire stay (if we paid with a credit card) They just wanted to allow a reservation for weekdays, but not over the weekend for the days we needed for work. We finally called CLC and they made the reservation for us ( for the entire timeframe!). Well, when we showed up the front desk clerk now informs us that they are not honoring the weekend aspect of our reservation. Great...in Chicago and we have to find another hotel on the spot ( than you very much....). It is CLC policy that if there are rooms available they are to allow us to be able to stay. Stay away and do not go to such a dishonest hotel!

Understaffed, poor shuttle, horrible breakfast. Pool closed, Room was great, once we got in at night it was fine, morning got locked out of room, no one at desk, she was running the breakfast area too. Still with a smile but we had to go find her, one of the guest suggested looking in the breakfast room. I don't know why both our keys were voided it was only 9:00 am.

They actually had the FULL breakfast (hot eggs, sausage) plus waffles , pastries, cereal etc. ready for me when i was signed up to take the shuttle at 430 in the morning. apparently they make it ready for the earliest shuttle that has guests riding on it. Shuttle driver and hotel staff very helpful and polite.

If you're looking at this hotel for its closeness to downtown Chicago, you'll be disappointed. Basically it's about a forty minute drive into town, $40-50 taxi fare, $25 or so uber car. The hotel itself is excellent, the front desk staff are also great. My only disappointment was when I left my mobile phone in a taxi, I asked for two days if someone could look at the cctv to confirm the cab company, the outside camera was directly where the taxi dropped us, but apparently they couldn't tell much from it? (Personally I don't think the manager bothered to look) However the hotels rooms were immaculate, they had everything you could need in them. The coffee was good too, which isn't always the case. ******Be careful in the shower, as the bath is very slippery******Breakfast was included, and it was also very good, the wifi could be very annoying at times. We stayed here for four nights, and I am glad that we did.

Stayed for a night in May. I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to work site. I had a very large room with King bed and a Jacuzzi tub in the middle of the room! Odd place for a tub but what the heck I was only there one night. indoor pool was closed and looked to be permanent. workout room was sparse. Around 10 pm the front desk called up to ask if I was smoking in the room. It seems there was a malfunction of the smoke detector in my room sending an alarm to them.

Staying for business at an airport hotel for weeks at a time sounds like a pretty dreary assignment. But the staff at this hotel makes the trips not only bearable, but actually pleasant. Maria is so warm and welcoming and she trains her staff to be the same. The service is consistent and this is just a nice little hotel where you are greeted each day with a smile and even a hug.

The staff at this hotel was very nice. They not only answered our questions, but were excited to do so. The room was your average nice room. Breakfast wasn't to my liking, but it seemed like most other people were enjoying it. We stayed for the shuttle service to the airport and they were very prompt in every matter of transportation. We made our flight on time and they picked us up as soon as we called. Pool was closed when we were there. Call before and ask if you are staying for the swimming pool. We will try to stay here again when using Ohare airport if the price is right.

We stayed at this hotel for it's location between spending a day in downtown Chicago and planning to spend the next day in the suburbs. We got an excellent price in time since they filled up by the time we checked in. The hotel looks to have been updated recently as the room was really nice. The water pressure in the shower wasn't so great, but turning the type of pressure to another seemed to help. The breakfast was pretty good for being free, especially the waffles, but standard fare that I would expect.

Very helpful and always offering to get everything squared away for you. We were recommended a late night restaurant which was great and not expensive at all. The only downfall was that the pool was being remodeled, but other than that everything was wonderful. Stayed 2 nights.

We stayed the night before flying out of o'hare the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable and check in was smooth. The neighborhood is so-so and the road noise is constant, but we were able to use the a/c fan to limit what disturbed us and we felt safe at all times. The part of the trip that impressed us was when we needed to leave for the airport at 3:30am. Front desk guy, "Art", gave us a wake-up call and then got out breakfast items like fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries that we could take with us. What a super extra since we did not expect to be able to utilize the free breakfast offering at 3:30am! The shuttle driver also was polite and a careful driver that we enjoyed chatting and riding with. I would for sure stay here again.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. I had to leave at 6:30 am and the staff laid the breakfast on a little earlier than the usual 6 am just to be sure I had a chance to eat before I left. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

The staff went out of their way to accomodate my needs. My room was clean and spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. While it wasn't fancy, it was certainly a great value for the price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I really think this is the best hotel near O'Hare airport especially the Airport Shuttle Van. The gentleman was so patient and friendly driving the Airport Shuttle Van. I absolutely loved their breakfast, it was tasty and yummy and hit the spot in the morning when I needed it. It was easy to get around on the public transportation especially when I was going to the Downtown area and it was in a decent area. It wasn't noisy or seedy or anything like that. I really enjoyed myself here and will stay here again when I come again soon which I plan to do. Everything I needed was here and when I needed it, I will recommend this hotel to any new travelers like myself just as I also would recommend the Carlton Inn near Midway Airport. I will stay here again when I visit Chicago the next time over.

Inside the room, the internet was working. Beds were comfy and the pillows were soft to the touch. Coffee was available 24/7 and that was great. Guest bathrooms were clean and sparkly. Breakfast eggs and waffle was yummy. Heater was working well since it was tremendously cold outside that day. All the staff I encountered from check-in, middle of the night person and checkout person were all professional. Also, the parking lot had plenty of parking space for my truck. Overall, the customer service provided to me was very professional and very enjoyable. The facilities were great and offered me many amenities.

This is not the best Best Western I've stayed in, but it was clean and comfortable. Front desk agents take their smoke breaks right at the entrance, which was a funky first impression. Though they took care of our luggage after our check out and was very nice when I needed late night food recommendations. There is a Denny's near by that opens late. Location is an hour away from downtown by train and bus. There's not much to look at in this neighborhood. Not the ideal location for tourists.

My stay was excellent. I was surprised at how clean and wonderful this hotel was. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were one of the most comfortable and softest I have ever laid on. The 40-inch TVs was a nice touch, along with a variety of channels available, including HBO. The breakfast items to select from were all good and oh-so delicious. The front desk staff (Monika, Art, Jesus and Don) were all so very helpful with all my questions. The shuttle I needed to the airport was on time and the shuttle driver was polite and a wonderful driver. The internet connection was available throughout the hotel and was free of charge. I needed to get some work done and because their internet speed was excellent, I was able to finish some work on my laptop. I will definitely stay again at the Best Western Plus O'Hare International South since I think I just discovered the best hotel that O'Hare has to offer.

The rooms were clean. Internet Wifi speed was fast. Breakfast was delicious. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My shuttle to the airport was on schedule and prompt. There were lots of food options as there were many places that delivered to the hotel. TVs in the rooms were 40" inches of wonderful entertainment. Overall, just a wonderful experience.

#1 the vending machine was never restocked, the snacks in the lobby are over priced.(1.25 for a .25 bag of chips?) #2 I left an item behind by mistake, I called to retrieve it. I was told to wait until the next business date.. I called the 1-800 number explained what I was told.... the front desk said the manager will be in at 11:30 pm I could come then. I was told my items were locked in an office only the manager had access. When I arrived I spoke to the front desk "Art" ( who knew nothing about my phone call) APPARENTLY my items weren't locked up and I didn't need a manager. Whomever I spoke to lied and did not tell his co-worker anything that happened. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I won't be back...

My friends and I arrived late into O'Hare (midnight). I called for a shuttle to the hotel as soon as we landed and the driver was there by the time we made it to the shuttle pickup. No waiting! :) When we arrived, we checked in and were taken to our room. Omg, the room. It. Was. Beautiful. And super clean. Muuuuch fancier than I expected. It felt like I was in a Marriott, and was even nicer than some of the Marriotts I've stayed in. The beds were really comfortable too. To boot, there was a full (and I mean full) breakfast in the morning with hot food, pastries, waffles, the works! The only reason I'm giving this 4 stats instead of 5 is that the front desk called our room a little after 1 am (because, like I said, we checked in late) asking if the room was okay. I get that they were trying to provide good customer service, but 1 am?? Really?? I was a little ticked because I was already asleep. The phone call startled me awake and I couldn't get back to sleep for another hour. Not happy about that, seeing as I had to wake up early. Note to Best Western: calling guests at 1 am is a bad idea. However, I was happy overall and the staff there was really nice.

We have stayed at 3 Best Western in the Chicago are in the last few months. This hotel was the best of all of them. The beds were very comfortable, the decor good, & we could bring our dog, which was great.

This hotel is a short shuttle ride from O'Hare airport. The shuttle drivers were the only negative side of our experience here. The shuttle will take you to the blue line to get into the city. The cost is $10 per room. We chose a cab however which cost us $16.00 to get to the Rosemont station. The rooms were very clean and large. Our room appeared to be freshly painted. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Food was good. Prices were very good. Other than the inconvenience of not having transportation within walking distance our stay was great.

Stayed here during the NLCS playoff games. It's not the most convenient to Wrigleyville or downtown Chicago but it was very easy to get there. The hotel is very clean and they have an airport shuttle that will pick you up from Door 3 at O'Hare transportation center. Short ride from airport to hotel. The shuttle will also take you to the blue line train. Rooms rates were very reasonable. Good variety for breakfast buffet. Front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. Excellent service.

The shutlle service is awful, the driver is grumpy, he doesn't know how to drive and complained about the hour that he was requested, the employees are rude besides this all I got stolen and they didn`t asssume the guilty.

Nice hotel, convenient for the International airport. We booked in advance for two separate nights. The first night was a stopover arriving from Manchester, UK before flying on to Salt Lake City next day. Phoned hotel from airport for the shuttle and was told it would be there in 20 minutes. After 1 hour and 10 minutes of standing outside with luggage and two phone calls later, shuttle arrived. My husband is disabled and found it very difficult. Room nice but noisy from the traffic all night. Went for breakfast next morning, only us. Receptionist was sat on the dining room all the time we were eating and would not leave us alone. She then started complaining about the management. It was very uncomfortable. We were not looking forward to return but it was pre booked We did return for the night before our flight home. What a difference! Staff polite, courteous and efficient. Shuttle arrived promptly after 20 minutes. It was late and we were hungry. Manageress recommended diner 5 minutes Away and shuttle would take us but they did offer a takeaway service ! The food was beautiful and wholesome. Soup homemade and piping hot. The member of staff who was complaining previously had been "removed". Would definitely stay again.

Do not be miss led by shuttle available. The sign up clip board says $10/ room one way. Upon actually requesting a shuttle it was $10/person.....much more expensive than a taxi. Not convenient to public transportation either. The actual bill was more than initially quoted. Don't seem to be terribly honest or friendly. Better hotels all along the road. Breakfast was the only saving grace.

This hotel is located in an industrial area with any type of amenities a distance away. It is NOT within a few minutes from the airport as stated. It took the shuttle 40+min to get to me, while other hotel shuttles made continual rounds. The driver had every excuse in the world about why he couldn't make it any sooner, yet it took only 12 min to get to the hotel. My room was not ready upon my arrival at 5:30 pm and I had to wait for over an hour to get my room. Breakfast is so so,, with little food left if you are not in the dining area by 7:00 am. This place caters to large bus tour groups, and if you are not part of the tour, you are pretty much out of luck for service. The hotel is located on a small parking lot with no amenities, no charm, on a very busy and noise highway. The rooms facing the highway have extremely high noise levels. There is nothing friendly, inviting or appealing about this place.

This was the worst experience starting from the moment we checked in. My husband and I were misled on the parking situation when you choose to park and fly. We were under the impression from the hotel website that parking was only $1.00 a day, but Jesús the employee at the reception desk said it was in fact $8/per day. Following that unpleasant surprise and substantial additional cost, we asked Jesús when the shuttle for the airport leaves in the morning and he informed us it would leave whenever we needed it to. However, the following morning, I went down stairs to tell the employee at the reception that I would like a shuttle at 6am (it was 5:45a at the time) but I did not see anyone at the desk. I waited for several minutes and as I started to walk away a women sitting in the breakfast area (without an employee uniform on) approached me and ask what I needed. I asked about a shuttle at 6am and Heather was very rude and said that the next shuttle wouldn't be there until 6:30a. I explained that Jesús from the night before told my husband and I otherwise so she called him and then told us that "we had to be ready at exactly 6am, or the shuttle would leave without us". We were down there at 6am and gathering some items for breakfast and Heather basically forced us out the door where we encountered the equally as rude driver, Andy. Both Andy and Heather made it seem like we burdened them for doing their jobs. When we returned 10 days later we called the hotel to pick us up at 4:55pm. The employee told us the shuttle would be there in about 30-35 minutes due to traffic. At roughly 5:50pm we called the hotel and they said the shuttle was just arriving at the airport. After 30 more minutes the shuttle was not there. My husband called and had a taxi pick us up ($40). When we arrived back at the hotel and explained our frustration to the reception employee, Don. Don apologized and told us that the driver Andy probably stopped to *GROCERY SHOP* before coming to get us. Clearly this has happened before since Don knew why Andy never showed up. After reading numerous reviews on TripAdvisor Andy and Heather have many complaints it seems that date back to over a year ago. That in itself is ridiculous. In conclusion, if you do decided to stay at this hotel do not expect to get the customer service or the transportation that you pay for.
