Best Western Parkside Inn

This is an older establishment but very well maintained and cleaned. It's obvious that the staff there takes pride in their jobs. Todd, the manager, and Samantha at the desk were extremely helpful and patient in answering questions. We appreciated the personal service. First floor rooms have an exterior door to the parking area. You don't have to schlep your luggage through the lobby. You literally park a few feet from your room. The room also has an interior door to allow guests access to the morning breakfast, pool and workout room.

This place was amazing. Very spacious rooms. Amazing breakfast. The staff was so nice and very helpful. Your front desk lady I believe her name was Samantha is an absolute delight and made our stay truly the best we have ever had. She was kind and helpful on places to visit and letting us know the good spots to eat at. We had one little mishap with our room but it was due to us not knowing how to operate the shower. We called Miss Samantha up at front and she promptly came to us and demoed how to use it. We will absolutely be back.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was accommodating for each request made, including organizing our family's rooms within close proximity to one another. Delicious breakfast. Affordable prices. Wonderful experience!

From the outside, this Best Western looks impressive, and it carries the Best Western brand, which means it should be of higher quality than other mid-priced chain hotels. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. Our room was old and threadbare. The carpet was dirty, as was the bathroom. The towels were thin and old. The hotel offers free breakfast, but it just OK. Had we known the poor quality of the rooms, we would have chosen a different place to stay.

Had a very clean, comfortable room with quality furnishings. Everything worked, room was quiet and breakfast was excellent. We went a couple blocks up the road to Miquel's Mexican restaurant and had a great dinner. We will stay here again as we frequenly run up and down I75.

Not a bad hotel. A bit dated room has both inside and outside doors Sleep was very good as was breakfast. Kiddos to the breakfast guy did a good job eggs tasted fresh. Hotel offers conference rooms but didn't appear to have an elevator although has a second floor

While on a road trip, we stayed a Saturday night. Reception was very busy checking in people. I'm reviewing room 101. The 1st floor has an exterior door, motel style parking. And an interior door to access breakfast, pool, reception. Two floors, no elevator. Our room was clean and comfortable. Shower curtain was a bit small, no hardship to me, but housekeeping might appreciate a larger one to prevent a wet floor. Indoor and outdoor pools, good tv channels including Cinemax and HBO.

This BW was a great stop, nice pool, close to restaurants and the Bourbon Trail! Friendly,helpful staff, nice, hot breakfast. We ordered in one night and went out to eat another night. Beautiful facility.

I had planned to stay at the GLO Best Western in Lexington, but it had no vacancies. I was directed to try this one, and I am so glad. It has a stately look to the building, without being pretentious. I grew up staying in motels, and this had the option of parking up to the door of your room, or, because the room had a front and back door, you can access it from the central hall. Our room was clean, the linens smelled fresh, and we had ample pillows. The bed was a bit stiff, but I prefer that over one that is too soft. Some reviews said that the hotel was dated, then go to the GLo In Lexington which is urban trendy. At least in Parkside I knew I was in Kentucky because of the artwork and architecture. We have decided that this is where we will stay on any trips that we make on this route.

Location and price was great! In town several times a year for a horse show at Lakeside. Always stay at this location because I know the room is going to be clean and a great price. Staff is always pleasant.

Everyone and every service at this hotel goes above and beyond the cost. Staff helpful and friendly. Every area of the hotel was clean and well kept. Breakfast was a buffet and the indoor outdoor pool was very large for a hotel pool.

I would recommend this hotel, its very clean and the pool is amazing. Breakfast, pool and overall stay was great. I have no negativity at all. I got the suite and it was so spacious and clean. loved it!!!!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast selection was as good as any I have seen at a hotel in this price range. We only stayed one night and did not have time to use the pool or exercise room but both looked nice. This was actually my first stay at a Best Western but after this I will have to consider them as an option in the future.

The cable was out. So, no TV. My husband was very disappointed! The room could have been cleaner. Very dusty and the mirrors needed cleaning. Didn't know there was a train next door. That was noisy for a while! Sounded like they were hooking up cars. Very loud banging! Finally got quite after 11.

Frankfort provided perfect location btwn Ark Encounter and Louisville. Parking was by our door plus there's interior door to the corridor for amenities. Clean room & comfortable beds. Grandson loved the inside/outside pool.Breakfast offered 2 kinds of meat and a pancake machine for grandson's delight. Accommodating staff. Beautiful capital town including the view from Daniel Boone's gravesite

This hotel was easy to find. I was able to park under a light in the front. The staff was very friendly yet professional upon check-in. There is no elevator so you will have to lug your belongings up the stairs if your room in on the 2nd floor. The pool was not in use when I was there. The room had a tiny microwave and a tall dorm fridge. I was pleased to see both a desk with chair and a table with two chairs. The shower was different and took special instructions to operate. It seemed that the neighbors shower was loud in the morning, but I was already up. Over all this was a fine hotel-except for the lack of an elevator. That only affects your arrival and departure. I would consider staying her again.

During this visit I stayed at a Marriott and a Hyatt and this hotel was better than both put together. It is extremely clean and comfortable, The breakfast was plentiful and the location is great if you are on a bourbon tour!

This BW was not up to my expectations and I am a platinum member. It definitely needs some updating . the beds were fine however but the freezer could not be used as it needed a defrosting badly The breakfast was OK but no pastries

This location is quiet and convenient to the interstate and city of Frankfort. Cleanliness and friendly staff are top priority. The breakfast options are a variety of hot and cold menu items. Always a pleasure for met to stay here.

Regularly visit this property and is always clean, staff are very friendly and property is very quiet! It is conveniently located to restaurants, grocery, shopping and the interstate. Whether you are an overnight trip for business or pleasure it is a great place to stay.

I phoned the location three times on Thanksgiving Day, and Darla was friendly and helpful. She did not get irritated and remained hospitable and helpful in answering my questions. When I arrived for check-in on Thanksgiving Day, Darla was kind and welcoming; it was a great start to my stay. Later in the evening, Rachel helped answer my questions regarding the pool and the workout room amenities. She went above and beyond and offered to let the next team member know that I would be using the pool and workout room due to her shift ending soon. When I was finished swimming, a new team member was at the front desk, Tricia (I believe is her name), and she engaged in conversation with me. She asked if I enjoyed the indoor pool facilities. I was blown away by her hospitality in engaging with me regarding the pool use. She could have easily ignored me as I passed the desk, but instead, she took the time to ensure I had a(n) enjoyable experience. Finally, Todd was so helpful to me as I struggled to get breakfast to return to my room. I had my hands full with plates and cups; He didn't ignore me or watch me struggle. He offered a brilliant suggestion to use the tray from my room. He didn't ignore me or watch me struggle. I didn't think of this and had a(n) ah-ha moment when he suggested it. That is an idea I will carry with me in future stays. It was a game-changer!

Stayed from 10-26 till 10-30.Perfect location for Keeneland and Midway college.Stayed in a king size room.The room was very big and bed was very comfortable.The pool area was nicely set up allowing our group of 10 to hang out and have fun.The indoor heated pool was only a minor issue.It says heated,but seems hard to keep warm since their is no complete closure from the outdoor pool.I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Frankfort,to stay there.

My husband & I enjoyed staying at this attractive, clean & comfortable hotel. The pool, workout facility & public restrooms were clean & inviting. The employees were friendly & outgoing. We would definitely stay here in the future & recommend it to friends/family.

We arrived late due to traveling. Check in was quick and efficient. Staff was so friendly. The room was quite large so we were very pleased with that. We got a handicap room so the shower was walk in large with a curtain. It was nice to have a larger bathroom. Everything was so clean! The bed was firm and comfortable. The couch was okay with a pillow behind the back. Coffee table. So nice to have a large sink outside of the bathroom. The TV stations options was pretty good and simple to use. It was nice to be at the back so it was darker without having bright street lights coming in the window. There was two door entrance into the room. One from the outside where you park close to the room and the other entrance into the hall. We did not have much of a walk to go breakfast in the morning. Very large selection of hot eggs, sausage, bacon that was cooked to perfection, biscuits and sausage gravy. Pancakes that we did not have and plenty of other non hot options. NO elevator so we were thankful to be on first floor. You could hear when someone else was taking a shower but not an issue. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water! The inside look very nice with sitting areas. It is close to the highway but not noisy. Probably the best room in all of our travels. A/C worked just fine. Stayed in room 12.

Back to the future. A motel with entry from front although it had in inside hallway. Convenient to highway and other needs. Close to Buffalo Trace, Woolford Reserve and Four Roses. Room was clean and mattress newer. Pillows not very good but there were five of them. Big tv and refrig. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Overall good experience and value for the money spent. Close to all major highways and within reasonable distance of most major attractions to the area. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

When we got to the hotel, I was hesitant that the first floor doors were on the outside. We stayed on 2nd floor. Mo elevator. Had reservation for 3 days later and considered canceling....did NOT cancel. Room very nice, bed very comfortable, hotel quiet, BEST breakfast around!!!! Heading back tonight!

Check in was easy and desk staff was very friendly, Room was clean and breakfast was the average hotel breakfast food. Easy access to thew hotel from the highway. a lot of restaurants in the area, happy we stopped.

Big hotel/motel depending which floor you're on. Ground floor rooms have both interior and exterior entrance doors. It's an older property that's been fairly well renovated, but the bathroom still needs some work. Good breakfast.

Pool is disgusting and in need or repair. It has broken bricks, loose ladders, ants all over the place. Floating debris and left a slime feeling on the skin. Gross at best. The bathroom had ceiling to floor water/mold damaged walls. there were a few coke can sized rotten holes around to top of the shower. The toilet seat was broken and the sink would not drain. we ended up using a cup to dump the water from sink into toilet. The corners of the bathroom floor were full of crud that they were too lazy to clean out. The lights were barely working. one was clearly rewired with a makeshift switch and the other we had to click 2 or 3 times to come on. The AC made a horrible squealing noise all night long without actually cooling down the room. The fridge was not working either. The free breakfast was gross. the hot foods were powdered eggs, dried out sausage and stale biscuits with sausage gravy from a can. Just gross. We will not be using this hotel ever again.

My family and I stayed the night at this hotel and arrived late in the evening and left in the morning as we used this hotel to break up our trip. We were very nervous about the 2.5 star rating but figured it was only for a few hours so we should just give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff at night was great and the morning the woman at the front desk was very helpful and in a great mood which started our day off great! My daughter left her pillow in the room after we had checked out and the woman at the front remembered which room we were in and got us a new key immediately. The breakfast wasn't bad either! We assumed we would eat a little there and grab something else but we didn't have to because there was enough food for everyone. The pool was open until 11pm too and that was great.

I really like this hotel. It is clean and the staff is pleasant and helpful. This was our/my second time to stay at this location and we have another trip planned in September. The hot breakfast was well maintained and a nice variety. The bed was comfortable.

This was our 1st trip since Covid hit, and I am blessed to say that I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel. The staff were all very courteous, and I would definitely stay there again, should I find myself in that area.

The hotel was clean overall. The second floor halls get a bit warm, I think due to the pool being there. The breakfast option is a nice morning feature. The area around the hotel shuts down pretty early so if you're looking for a quote stay, this would be the place.

I live here in town and own Tingle Travel Agency. I wanted to bring my brother from Paducah here to town and put him up in the BEST hotel, close to me, on the East side of Frankfort. BWestern and their staff didn't disappoint! We enjoyed hanging out together at the expansive Indoor/Outdoor pool. Also, my bro, sis in law and dad loved the hot breakfast, make your own pancakes, coffee, and so much more! But, the staff was the MOST amazing part ~ they were super accommodating and attentive! I will certainly be recommending to ALL of my Clients staying in Frankfort that they stay here! Also, need a Conference Room (local people)? They have a room upstairs that seats 80 theatre style, or 50 or so with rounds at a reasonable price! Consider this for your small Corporate Events! Want to see pics? A very nice hotel with inside and outside rooms. Pool was nice after hot day. Location is close to everything. No security issues at all. Our suite was huge and could easily accommodate 4 to 5 people.

This hotel had the makings of a high quality facility. However, the noise level during the day/evening was too loud. The only way to alleviate this issue is to get more insulation in the walls, doors that don't slam when shutting. The pool was dirty. I could see hair and water looked milky. In door pools should not be so cold you can't get in the water without having body shock.

A nice surprise in Frankfort. The property was immaculate and everyone I encountered at the property was friendly and kind. The only negative was the free breakfast. It was the same as every other hotel I've started at, fake eggs, fake sausage, and the gravy for the biscuits was like wallpaper paste.

Stayed here for several nights while I was in town on business. Location is perfect. Rooms were basic, but very clean. The free breakfast was better than most hotels and the coffee was fantastic. Easy drive to Keeneland and distilleries. Will definetly stay again when I am in town!

Visiting family…the staff were exceptional!!!! Great customer service. Had a couple items in the room that needed repairs. Beds were comfortable and liked the idea of a door to the outside AND one to the hall inside.

Great place to stay, clean rooms, comfortable beds, large choice of breakfast items to eat, big heated pool, fitness center, guest laundry, parking for all types of vehicles, conference rooms, Ice and vending machines. I have stayed here 36 nights in 2022.

We are not satisfied with the way management treated us as we were checking in. They had our reservation wrong. We drove 2 states to meet kids we are adopting to only be told our reservation was for one night. The manager came over and tells us every hotel is booked and there's nothing they can do. The lovely gentlemen helping us check in, found a room available that he was going to book for us in their hotel for the next night, like it was supposed to be, until the manager came back over and said he was holding it for someone without a reservation. First, you don't say that in front of customers standing in front of you with a reservation needing another night in the room, which we originally booked, but the office staff was too incompetent because we had to call THREE times to make sure it was right because the women on the phone kept asking someone how to book the room! Second, we have a reservation and the party having the room held for them did not have a reservation. Unacceptable! We had to go to another hotel the next night and stay away from our kids. Come to find out, since we had to drive by to come see our kids, the room was never rented out. We will never stay at another Best Western. In the future, customers with reservations come first, PERIOD! That's not even mentioning the mold we found plain as day in the bathroom, soaking wet carpet because of a leaking sink, and doors that don't close! We had the pleasure of hearing everything and enjoying the cold breeze coming through the door frame. All around, unpleasant experience and we will not be back!

Lower budget hotel which was fine because we were just passing through on our way back from a family vacation. We just needed a place to rest for the night and move on. We got to the hotel late evening and were told that the room we booked was oversold and we had to upgrade to a suite and pay the upcharge. I understand that mistakes happen but when I now need to pay $170 for us to stay. I would have gone a higher budget hotel for that price but because I was never contacted about the error I now had no choice but to swipe my card. The room was okay but it was very cold even with the heat on. The heat in one of the rooms didn't even turn on. Got up in the morning to check out and asked to speak to a manager, which I was not able to do. The attendant was rude when I told her the situation of not wanting to pay the upcharge as this error was on their end. The charge is still pending on my card even though I was told that the charge would be dropped. I don't think the situation was handled like it should have been. Staff need to be trained to handle situations like this when a manager is not available.

We was able to make a last minute reservation without any problems. The staff was amazing about addressing my questions since this was our first time staying at a BW and we even signed up for the rewards.

Very nice room and clean had a strange smell like smoke when we first walked inside! Left to go get something to eat and the smell was gone. Comfortable bed and clean room great breakfast menu, will recommend, nice and friendly staff,helpful and informative, affordable during these days

Staff was awesome. Room was perfect and clean. They had an inside pool that I didn't use but was very nice. Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from. We were able to use the Wi-Fi for our Xbox to watch movies.

Very clean room. The first floor was convenient. I like parking just outside your door. We liked that there were two doors to the room. This isn't a brand new property, but that isn't important to us. It is well maintained. The hot breakfast was good. Dining area is a little small. But I prefer to eat in the room anyway.

The room was clean but the bed was a little lumpy. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located near several restaurants and I64. We definitely would stay here again.

We had a great overnight stay at the BW Parkside Inn. At first look, I thought it was just another motel, but it turned out to be a refurbished hotel with the first-floor rooms having access to the parking lot. The room was clean and our King size bed was very comfortable. Even the pull-out was comfy for our son. While we did not try out the indoor/outdoor pool we were tempted as it looked very inviting. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed the eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. This will be on the rotation of hotels for our road trips going forward.

Good stay and reasonable price. We stay at this location several times a year as it's close to family's home. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We like the fact that the rooms have a front and back door which allows parking right at the room for easy access.

Not cheap, but still had no breakfast and the vending machine was sold out. Beds were clean and semi comfortable, but the carpet and tile were gross. Hair in the tub. Jacuzzi tub room smelled like mold. Good enough for a short 1 night stay.

This is an older hotel but nicely renovated. I was impressed with how clean the room was....much better than most hotels so that I felt comfortable and relaxed. Mattress fine. They gave me a room that was suppose to be 'quiet' but....there must have been some kind of plant in back because there was a "humming" all night. Needless to say, I could not sleep. Maybe many it would not bother (my husband) but for a 'light' sleeper it was irritating and frustrating; I was exhausted by 4 am. We got up and checked out at 5am...NOT what we intended. I know there is nothing they can do about their location but....if you are a light sleeper....proceed with caution; otherwise, it is ok with a reasonable price and CLEAN.

Check in service was friendly, facility was clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast food served was fresh and delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room size was generous and the facility was located close to good restaurants.

I don't normally write hotel reviews but I am so disappointed in this one. It was a last resort stay due to the area not having many options and I will leave it at that.. If this is the last resort for a hotel room, keep it at that.

The staff, breakfast, pool and hotel was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff I have stayed at hotels all around the US and by far this was one of the best. First time I've stayed at a best western in years and my family was very impressed. We came for a wedding and when we are in the area we will definitely stay here again. Turning into the property feels like you are coming up to a country estate. Beautiful property with an amazing indoor/ outdoor pool. Amenities are great and in working order. All staff was very friendly and helpful. I will always stay here when I'm in the area.

This older motel looks beautiful upon approach and is situated near freeways. The bed was comfortable; however, the room is rather small with little space to put our open suitcases. The breakfast was abysmal...tasteless eggs, no bread/bagels/etc., bacon good but greasy. Very disappointing!

We live in the area and had to be put up in a hotel for two weeks when we had home issues. We stayed at a few hotels before landing at Best Western Parkside. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The suite that we were staying in was booked over the weekend, and they worked with us and our insurance to move us to another room for one night, and move us back into our room the next night. They made it as seamless as possible and were incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was great every morning. It was always eggs and bacon, pancakes, and pastries. The pool is fun with an indoor/outdoor feature.

Pleasantly surprised by the value and excellent experience at this hotel. Lovely indoor/outdoor pool, lavish full breakfast, personable staff, spacious long corridors and doors to outside and interior corridors. Convenient location.

This is a great motel, in a historic city. The motel is beautiful, and sits on a hill, overlooking the area. They have an indoor outdoor pool that is great. The breakfast served here is great. Friday morning breakfast was very busy, the 2 guys who were working earned every cent they made. They served probably 100 or more people that morning. The food was great, and plentiful. The guys were also very friendly. I highly recommend this location.

The location was easy, room was clean, shower was great! The pool was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was meh, as most breakfasts are anymore, but this more so because the pancake machine was broken. Would have given 5 stars but the wi-fi was not great. Connection kept dropping and since I was there on business this was really dissappointing. Otherwise, the rooms and front office help was fantastic.

Great stay for the price! This Best Western had everything we needed for our stay. I usually stay at another brand, but was pleasantly surprised at how well this experience was! I will be looking at Best Westerns for future stays.

We reserved a king bed suite with Sams Club Travel Agency and were told there were no suites available when we called to confirm the reservation. Apparently, the hotel has no obligation to provide a suite even though its been reserved and Sams Club Travel Agency has not obligation to notify the customer that the room is not available. And, Sams Club Travel Agency won't refund any portion of the room rate until the customer can PROVE that the room reserved wasn't available. It would seem that that would be Sams Club Travel Agency's responsibility once they determine that the room was downgraded.

This is a well located hotel that is affordable and exceeded our expectations with a great staff, large pool, quality breakfast and plenty of room space. We would not hesitate to come back if we were back in the area anytime soon!

This hotel is in a great location just off I-64, making Interstate access very easy when leaving the parking lot. The rooms themselves are large and comfortable. My ground floor room had two doors: one which opened to the parking lot and one which opened to an interior hallway of the hotel. Since there were a few thunderstorms during my stay, having indoor hallway access to the breakfast room and lobby was appreciated, while having a door that allowed me to quickly unload/load my luggage from the car was also welcome. The hotel uses DirectTV, so the thunderstorms during my stay disrupted the signal for a couple of hours. However, the Internet continued to work. The only faults I had were minor. Upon entering the room from the "parking lot" door, the room was very dark and flipping the light switch inside the door didn't seem to turn on any lights. I had to open the curtains a bit to find the lamps, then make my way to them to turn on the lights. The electrical outlets near the sink didn't seem to work when I plugged in my shaver or the iron. Overall, this was a good overnight stay (especially given the thunderstorm and pandemic) and I'd stay here again.

The person at the front desk did not even acknowledge our presence when we stood in front of them. They chose to see right through us and then decided to answer the phone while I was standing there hoping for help. After a few minutes had passed with them still ignoring us and on the call, another person walks in smelling heavy of cigarette smoke. They reluctantly decided to check us in. After a few condescending remarks and questions directed at us, we received the room keycard but only after a through explanation about what not to do with the key. Never in our life we have been treated this poorly at a hotel in this country. This hotel staff showed us why something like a Greenbook was even needed. Let me stop right here before I go into the room smell and breakfast. Never gain in this hotel.

This place was very clean and friendly. The pool was beautiful. I would recommend this place for a family or a group. There were plenty of families there you never heard any of them walking down the hall or in our room. There is plenty of places to eat near by.

Southern hospitality and sass keep my husband laughing …break fast staff was efficient and kind… and the pillows were perfection … it was a long day so it was nice to stop … my husband who has a hard time sleeping slept though alarm

The employees were very friendly, especially the Debbie who worked the front desk. The rooms were larger than most rooms, and VERY clean. The beds were very comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the pool, but it looked great! We also didn't take a dog the breakfast, we slept longer than usual since checkout time wasn't until noon!

U can feel the coils in the mattresses so it was impossible to get some sleep! I did not think that still made those type of mattresses any more! If anyone is traveling and looking for a good nights rest steer clear of this place!

I booked this hotel specifically for the indoor/outdoor heated pool. Checked in only to be told pool was totally closed. This is not stated on their website. I would have never of booked a hotel without an indoor pool. The pictures online make this hotel look amazing. When you get there it is much different. A remodeled old hotel that have doors outside that you park in front of. Not at all what I was expecting. The room was clean and breakfast good. The bedding was older and no duvet. Just a blanket in between two sheets. We would not stay there again.

Traveling for the Bourbon Trail... Tanner is the customer service man! I accidentally booked my room for the next night & when I showed up he was very helpful and got me a room for that night! Room was clean, hotel was nice, breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Facility was great. Bed linen and towels were better than avg. Bed was comfortable. Because of the rain the manager allow us to extend our stay by one more day. Location was great to visit the road thru the Smoky Mts

The attendant at check in was very nice and friendly. The process was quick and easy. It was like a friend checking us in. Our room was very clean and spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Always have a clean comfortable room here. We stay here every year on our way to Tennessee. Fairly good hot breakfast as compared to most hotels and is cheaper than Fairfield Inn next door and they don't have hot breakfast.

Older hotel that is well taken care of. I love that if you are on the first floor you can park at your door. And, there is also a door to the interior hallway. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was very pleasant and efficient. Did a good job practicing their social distancing and mask wearing. They even were able to come up with a plan to provide an enjoyable hot breakfast (even if you had to take it back to your room to eat.) I would definitely stay here again when I am in Frankfort. I think you will enjoy your stay.

Nice clean, comfortable room. I really enjoyed my stay and I could park my car right up near my door too! I would like to commend Debbie and Mary at the front desk evenings for the outstanding customer service. They were so friendly and really made me feel at home and attentive to whatever I needed. The night auditor when I checked out at 630am was not so friendly but she wasn't rude either. Thank you for a great stay and I will be back. Definitely recommend!

This is a very attractive and convienent hotel. The rooms are a little dated but were very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable[very firm which I prefer], but the pillows were too firm.Breakfast was very good especially because they served a hot one [eggs,bacon, and pancakes]if you wanted. The price was competitive for the area.

The room was very clean. In fact, one of the cleanest that I have experienced this year. Because the rooms open directly on to the parking area, it was a bit noise late at night and very early in the morning. That is not the fault of the hotel, however. The property is very well maintained. I know that some other guests have complained about the pool being closed - we are in a pandemic and the rules are constantly shifting. I was very pleased that in contrast to the bag breakfast offered elsewhere, this hotel offered a made to order breakfast that guests could take to their room to eat.

Booked a couple of rooms for the family. Chose this hotel specifically for the pool. No mention online of the pool being closed. I was brought up that omission of the truth is no different than lying. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This hotel was comfortable to meet our needs although for me the bed was a little too hard. The rate was reasonable, the staff friendly and accommodating. The idea of a choice for breakfast menu was genius. We were able to select items that we wanted and it was ready in the morning. Would stay again if we're in that area.

The room was very nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Grab and Go breakfast was more than enough. And it was within walking distances of a few restaurants. Since I usually travel with my bicycle in the car, I prefer an outdoor entrance to the room. It makes for unloading the car much easier.

My first 2 priorities for a hotel/motel are safety and cleanliness. This location met both of those. I am generally the type that goes for the $60 motel rooms, as I just need to sleep and get up and go. My wife convinced me to spend more and stop here. It was right off the highway and looked nice and safe. Check-in went well. Lobby was clean and the staff was very pleasant. I joked with the guy at the counter about hating to spend $110 for a room when I am used to spending a lot less. His comment was that with those hotels, you may leave with more than what you arrived with. Sometimes true, but I have stayed in some cheaper hotels that were just as clean, safe, and had everything that worked, which brings me to the next point(s) The internet NEVER worked for the 5 devices we tried to connect—we followed the directions, still nothing. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating. The water pressure was awful and the shower head leaked/sprayed so bad that it was hitting the toilet and making the whole floor wet. When I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't seem to connect at all. Could things have been worse? Absolutely, but these are things that tend to make a stay nicer than others. When I talked with the front desk about the issues in the morning, they offered $15 off the bill. Honestly, I expected more, but I wasn't going to gripe about it any further. Other than the issues mentioned, the bed was comfortable and linens clean, and again, it was a safe area. The room was clean and organized and there weren't any of those half-butt repairs that looked like some minimum waged jack-leg performed; I did appreciate that. They had to alter breakfast due to Covid. There was a check-sheet with different items that we had to turn into the front desk. The next morning we went to the desk and picked it up. It was decent, better than nothing. There was a fair amount of fast-food and other shopping in the vicinity if that is also something you look for. Bottom line, I would stay here again.

They won't allow locals to stay here. Money is money, business is business. If I'm willing to pay just like everyone else, they should allow me to stay here and not cancel when I arrive. I will never stay at another Best Western, this town or not.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot. I don't eat breakfast but it looked pretty good. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hedge outside my room was full of really noisy birds and I thought they would keep me awake but as soon as I closed the door I couldn't even hear them anymore. I would definitely stay again.

Best Western Parkside in Frankfort KY is comfortable & the rooms are clean. Whenever I'm in Frankfort KY I stay at Best Western Parkside. The breakfast is delicious.They have bacon, eggs, cereals, yogurt & fruit.

My husband and I travel frequently to Frankfort, KY. This is one of the absolute best hotels as far as we are concerned. The staff is always so friendly and helpful! Highly recommended and will definitely return when in the area!

Best Western Parkside is a great choice if traveling in the Frankfort area. It is an older hotel but has been kept up so well that it seems like a new property Our room seemed to have been recently updated along with the lobby.We were right by the stairs and expected noise, but it was quiet. It has a large indoor outdoor pool. It is always very clean ,staff are fantastic. Breakfast area is clean and food selection is the same as most hotels with complimentary breakfast. Plenty of free parking, near a commercial area. Have stayed there many time and will continue to when in the area. ** This property is 2 stories and does not have an elevator. The first floor rooms have both an interior and exterior door.

BEST PLACE EVER!! Over the past 25 years, we have frequented this classic motel. From chaperoning students on trips (we are teachers) to bringing our own family as we pass through via interstate travel. Whether we've lived on Kentucky or moved away, we go OUT OF OUR WAY to stay in this beautiful, iconic, always clean, very safe, and extremely friendly location. They no longer make motels like this. Both inside and outside entrances; beautifully renovated; large indoor/ outdoor pool area; and, no matter when we stay, we are consistently met with professionalism and extreme friendliness at the front desk. We've literally traveled the country and out of the country, and this treasure is truly one of our favorite places to stay. A secret place of old where you are met with all the things you miss about businesses in the past...in the good ol' days, the way things used to be, so to speak. If you're looking for that AND a comfortable, clean room, then avoid trying to "make it a little further down the road" to Lexington or Louisville or even Cincinnati. Stay here. The motel was awesome from the staff to the room was great.The breakfast was very good.The pool was nice.I would tell people to stay there.The out side of the motel was kept up nice.The inside of motel was clean.There were places to eat in the area.

Policy which is only known to the manager who is away for the whole day! The staff told me they don't know what to do in case of a late check-out. Then they call the manager who is away for the whole day, it turns out that 1 hour late check-out is half a days charge, two hours late is whole day charge! WTF! Best Western Frankfort, whats up with the shower having to wrestle with to pull it out and make it work!! And whats up with the bathroom sink being outside the bathroom like a cheap motel! Not to mention the lousy excuse for a breakfast! This is not a good hotel trust me!

Location just off the highway is very convenient. Check in was quick and efficient, the room is very spacious and clean. There's a fitness center that requires a key but the pool is always open. Restaurants are nearby and if you want to venture a bit further, non-chain food is available in nearby Midway and Versailles.

Easy to find location right off of Interstate. Excellent breakfast. Roomy rooms with both inside and outside entrance. Staff is very nice and helpful.Great for a one night or more stay. Beautiful looking colonial plantation look.

The fact that I couldn't just book one night was disappointing. They really capitalized off of homecoming in the city. Beds are like twin sized but clean rooms nonetheless. I had no issue with the stay.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and loved that it lasted til 10:00a.m. since I'm a late sleeper! Quiet clean rooms and a pleasantly warm indoor pool open til 11:00p.m.

I was surprised to find that this hotel had no elevator and that the 1st floor rooms open to the outside of the building. This room smelled stale and musty and the bathroom consisted of a toilet and a bathtub with shower. The bathroom vanity and sink were in the rooms entrance and was more a part of the overall room than the bathroom. The breakfast room was small and crowded. The "hot" food was cold.

We booked one night on our way home from a wedding. The desk clerks were excellent, the room clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast the next day was good as well. Biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs as well as the regular breakfast items.

This is the first time I've ever stayed at a Best Western, and it won't be the last. This is a wonderful hotel located close to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. The room (105) was very clean and comfortable. There isn't an elevator so if you have a bad back or can't carry your luggage up the stairs, be sure to request a ground floor room. We loved that there was an internal doorway to the central hallway ... meant we didn't have to walk outside to get to breakfast. This will be a big bonus in the winter or rainy weather. The check-in was fast and everyone we interacted with at the front desk was helpful and very pleasant. If you like walking through antique malls, there's one close by that was interesting. The next time we stop in Frankfort to visit Buffalo Trace, we'll definitely be staying at this Best Western.

The Suites are very spacious, nice, and clean. The bathroom is exceptionally small. Very nice pool area. Close and very convenient to a variety of restaurant, Woodford Reserve, and Buffalo Trace. Breakfast is served every day. Coffee is always available.

This was the first night stay of our Bourbon Trail Trip. Very Close to Buffalo Trace. Very nice breakfast was included. My only complaint was the pancake maker for breakfast. Flat jack more than a flapjack.

This was a great hotel for our weekend getaway for our girlfriend trip. The two ladies at the front desk, Darla and Dawn were so helpful in getting us adjoining rooms, and very helpful to us throughout our labor day weekend. Our rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. And for a treat there are always fresh cookies in the lobby. When we arrived we were very hungry and they just hit the spot, they also had coffee, too. I was very pleased that they also had decaf coffee. Their pool area was wonderful, and they supplied towels, and there was plenty of chairs. This hotel was very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores.

Stayed 2 nights while enjoying parts of Bourbon Trail. Overall it is a bit dated but it was clean, the staff was friendly and the bed comfortable. We had a suite and it was a ton of space but a ton of empty space! There were 2 rooms - a huge sitting area with tv and huge bedroom. I think 3 King beds could have fit in the bedroom. The bath/toilet/vanity were very standard for a hotel room (dated but clean and working) The main room had a long counter with micro, sink and small coffee maker. There are no amenities included like a dish towel or paper towels etc. so if you get the suite bring whatever you might need. Breakfast was good - even had fresh cut up fruit on our 2nd morning. The pool was great. It is indoor/outdoor and makes for a nice way to relax. Wish we had more time to enjoy it! Cookies in evening were nice touch.

Best Western Parkside Inn provided excellent customer service, safe and secure room access, good location and wonderful breakfast. Room was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. There was a small fitness room available. Good advice as to what food options are available.

This is the cleanest hotel that I've stayed in while in Frankfort, and I've stayed in a lot. The staff is extremely friendly & very accommodating to any of your needs or wants. It is conveniently located right off I-64 exit and there are so many restaurants & stores located within the area. I highly recommend you give this hotel a try!

We drove from Texas and chose to stay here. I was concerned at first because of the company beside it, but it was not a problem at all. The reception desk ladies were very friendly and welcoming. The indoor/outdoor connected pool was fun for all of us.

I was so impressed with this hotel. The staff when checking in at midnight was so friendly. I asked for extra pillows and blankets and she was happy to help. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs could use some work, but they were the normal hotel eggs. There's a beautiful pool that allows for indoor and outdoor use. Gym looked clean. Best part when staying with a group... just down the hallway is a bathroom for multiple people! I know it's there for the pool but you don't have to wait for your friend to be done showering or worry about using the bathroom with everyone else in the room. I really loved this and because of that, 5 star!!

Hotel is easily accessible. We chose this location because of the proximity to the various attractions we planned to visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Having an indoor outdoor pool is a nice added attraction. Breakfast was good, the staff at the front desk was very cool. We got there a little early and they've made sure we had rooms to get into. Not all the hotels on the trip were so accommodating. I would recommend this place and would stay here again

Right after July 4th is a hot time to be traveling by motorcycle. But we were. Since it was so hot and humid, we decided to find a place to spend the night. I called and Brandon at the front desk went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean. Beds firm. Plenty of room at a great price.

They run sex trafficking sting operations out of the hotel, in the room right next door to ours. We stayed here for family weekend at Stewart Home school as we have for many years. We take small children and get joining rooms because we must care for our family member with down syndrome as he stays in the hotel. During our recent stay the hotel was running a sting operation with police where they were inviting sexual predators to the hotel to a room and arresting them. we had three children under the age of 10 witness this. In one case someone was loudly banging on our door. Hotel ownership/management allowing a sex tracking sting operation during a sold out weekend is unacceptable. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere as we will be from now on.

We had 10 of us staying here in 3 rooms all on the 2nd floor. The rooms were much bigger than I had expected and very clean. The bathroom and sink area were in excellent condition. The pool was absolutely fabulous! The breakfast hours are longer than most and that is a big help to those of us that don't rise early. The food was excellent and plenty of choices. The staff was very accommodating and eager to help however they could.

We enjoyed our recent stay in Frankfort. Room and bed were comfortable. Complementary breakfast was fresh and hot. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool. Will stay here again next time we are in the area.

We were there the weekend of June 14-16 for our Annual Kentucky Open Breed Horse Show. We stayed at Best Western for the weekend. The staff was wonderful, our rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! The best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel! The bacon was delicious!

The hotel is really beautiful and even the rooms smelled good! The staff was friendly and made easy conversation. There is no elevator on the premise, so during check-in she offered us a ground level room. It was very thoughtful! Only issue we had was with the sink: it didn't drain very well. Very minor issue!

Tiara was so accommodating as the Desk Clerk at Check-In and worked with my wife and I to help us get the best deal and wonderful rooms that were perfect for our stay. Other Hotels in the area were more expensive but this one was very clean inside and out. We're planning to stay here again when we come to Lexington for any conferences or just for pleasure.

Stayed here for the Kentucky Derby weekend and it provided a great location convenient to everything we were doing. As previously stated, the hotel is a bit dated but it was spotless and very reasonably priced for derby weekend so it was a great choice. We were very close to several locations we visited. Check-in was very efficient and friendly. We'll definitely stay again when in town!

Visited this hotel for the 145th Kentucky Derby with my family. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. My only issue was a lack of an elevator to the second floor. While I am capable of carrying my bags I am sure other guests struggle.

I have stayed at this hotel often over the years for business. It hasn't progressed much over that time. Maybe it was because I stayed at another BW last night in Morehead, KY (Eagle Inn) and it was excellent; 50" TV, premium channels, clean rooms. This Frankfort property is average at best, and certainly not worth price they now charge. Rooms are clean but dated. Small tv, and they have cable, but only about 8 channels work, I cannot even watch a playoff basketball game sitting here with nothing to do...asked the front desk about it and they said it is always like that. Also, don't have hypoallergenic pillows available for someone with down-fill allergies. I will give one positive, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Everyone here was very helpful as far as getting us in a handicapped room, since I don't walk and stand the best! The room rate was very reasonable and beds were comfy!! A huge plus although not diabetic friendly were there double chocolate chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven!! Smell alone is worth the trip!!

We stayed at the Parkside on Easter Sunday night. We got to the hotel & were exhausted after traveling in a Uhaul all day. The young lady at the desk was so extremely friendly. She got us our room & the room was spotless. Granted the hotel is an older hotel but it was well worth the price we paid (booked directly online with Best Western). I slept like a baby with no complaints. The breakfast was a good, hot, hearty breakfast. Our room — 1st floor had an outside door & an inside corridor door. I am not sure if all the rooms are that way or not. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I was very impressed. Very good location, easy to get to with nearby restaurants and shopping. Parking was easy. Rooms and lobby were clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfie. Walls were not thin, sound drowned out pretty nicely - we got a good night's sleep. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was above average. I would most definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is VERY Clean. The Breakfast room was spotless. The continental breakfast excellent. The room was clean in great shape and well lite. THE BEST PART WAS THE SUPER NICE STAFF. When we are in Frankfort again this will be our place to stay.

Check in was a great experience. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and quick to get us checked in. She let us know about the free continental breakfast (which was really good) and warm cookies from 6-8pm (which were good). Hotel is older but has been remodeled and was in good shape. Would definitely stay here again. It's also in a good location with shopping close by and Starbucks across the street.

I stayed one night here with my dad. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel was easy to access from I64 and conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The lower level has outside corridors, which is a problem for some people and a convenience for others. We were on the second floor so that was a non-issue. Our room did not have a remote for the TV. The front desk immediately provided a replacement upon notification and offered a visit to the room if the replacement did not function properly. This was a nice, affordable hotel, desk staff was friendly and we would definitely stay again if in the area.

The location is easy to get to. The hotel looks gorgeous on the outside. The rooms are very clean on the inside. The hotel itself is also very clean. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. The room service crew is very friendly and great at keeping the rooms clean. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Stayed here for a conference my hubby was attending. Oh how I wish we would have gotten a different place to stay, but the other nearby hotel had sold out for our dates. Anyway, not sure how this hotel got such good ratings here, I'm thinking many must be fake, there's no other explanation. Our room was on the bottom floor, there are two doors leading into the room. One from where you park your car and one that leads to the interior of the hotel, so you have to make sure both doors are locked to your room, never stayed somewhere like this before. The noise from outside is clearly heard. Every car or truck that comes through, you will hear it. Also, there's a train that runs through that you hear every night. Since there are two doors to the room, you also get the added benefit of kids running through the halls and doors slamming on both ends. The worst part of my experience was the beds. They are not level. You feel like you are going to roll out of bed. I checked to make sure the bed was sitting properly on its supports and it was, so basically the mattresses are sunk in on the sides and cause unevenness. The pillows, there are 3 on each double bed, and yes, you will need all 3 just for one person because one by itself will not be enough. They feel like a soft lumpy hot mess, no support whatsoever. The breakfast was the same everyday. It would have been nice to see a change. The food was mediocre at best. The plumbing is slow to drain, taking a shower, the water pools around your feet as it starts filling up in the tub. The toilet has little pressure, so we had to go down and get a plunger to unclog it the first day. Solved this the rest of the stay by using the hotel toilet near the lobby when having to take a deuce. Now for the positives, the room was fairly clean. The people that worked here were friendly.

The breakfast dining area closed a little too early for us. There were several people still at breakfast when it was time to close. There were many people that want to talk to each other over the meal. It was a good atmosphere.

We checked in late after a ridiculously long day and in a state of utter exhaustion. Sarah at the front desk took great care of us, getting us checked in quickly and offering a warm smile and sympathetic ear. She was very much appreciated after a demoralizing day at the Capitol. We weren't really able to enjoy our room since we had to leave early the next morning, but it seemed to be pleasantly appointed. The bed was comfortable, but was supplied with the small, over-soft pillows that don't provide enough support that so many hotels seem to be going to lately. We slept well once we were able to get situated, though, albeit not long enough. This Best Western is an old-style, somewhat dated hotel, but was a comfortable, affordable place to stay with outstanding service. We'd recommend.

This hotel was clean, friendly service, nice pool. Room was clean, nice size, large tv, beds were just a tad bit hard but it didn't interfere with my quality of sleep. One thing that I found was odd, there wasn't any bedding that was thicker than just a normal hotel blanket. No comforter - just another sheet on top of a thin blanket. Bring a blanket with you! Breakfast was satisfactory, everything well stocked - no made to order omelets like mentioned on website. Great location!!!! Close to shopping and restaurants and DoorDash delivers to the hotel! :)

Very nice large room, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. The pool is large and well lit although we didn't use it. Nicely decorated and good location, good parking near good roads and shopping. Elevator would be nice but we will still be coming here again. Maintenance issue bathroom sink barely drained.

Very clean lobby and room. New sheets and bed cover. Quite room. Large meeting room and the employees are wonderful to work with. The coffee was to die for. Best I have ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was very good and nice selection.

Comfortable surroundings, nice indoor pool, and a very nice staff. We had a training in one of the hotel conference rooms the next day, which was very convenient. I enjoyed catching up on some work in the comfort of my hotel room.

Recently stayed overnight for bad weather and was pleasantly surprised. Big rooms, indoor pool, nice breakfast in the morn, excellent WiFi and friendly staff. Very close to the Interstate and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Hotel check in was super easy. The hotel was slow so we were able to choose a room location. The rooms themselves are a little dated, however, they were roomy and clean, and for the price, I have no complaints! Breakfast is served in the morning and is decent, as far as hotel breakfasts go. A plus is there was no morning rush. The coffee was very good and is available 24/7! This is a great location, right off the freeway. We will stay again when we are in town.

We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the room and amenities. Thank you for accommodating our special needs. The beds seemed stiff and bouncy, however once we settled in, they felt amazing and we slept very nicely.

A girl IN UNIFORM was outside in the PARKING LOT smoking “weed” as these young kids call it nowadays. But it was just so disrespectful on the hotels part to allow this. And you say you are a “NON SMOKING” Facility. But yet your own employee is outside in the parking lot doing drugs??????? I'd rather pay 200 a night than to come back to this hotel. RIDICULOUS. I walked by thinking it was a cigarette at first then I caught a whiff of the smell and knew it wasn't just a “cigarette”

The blonde girl was doing everything by herself while the black girl just sat there or stood there looking like she hated life. Get people in here to work!!!! Never offered to help, when she clearly seen other people waiting to check in. The room was clean and nice. But the staff just makes the hotel look bad. Not the first encounter of this happening!

Toured the Buffalo Trace distillery,the State Capitol building,very scenic area.Best Western is a very convenient place to rest and the staff,the room,over all is a great get away.Highly recommend especially in the fall.

clean and cheap. Good location in Frankfort as it is located right off the exit. Better than the highest priced motel next door. Breakfast is good and the weight/workout room will suffice for your needs.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. Just the pillows need help. There small for a king size bed. The rooms on the first floor in front have a front door and a back door that opens into the interior hallway......

The hotel is conveniently across from a small shopping mall. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was great. They know how to make biscuits! One issue is the internet. It is horrible. I could not keep a connection.

The beds were very uncomfortable it was hard to sleep luckily we only stayed two nights, and wasn't a long drive. The Manger was really nice and friendly and helpful. But the front desk workers it seemed like they didnt know what they were doing when they checked us in, because they didnt communicate well with us on our payment / Bill, which left us worried our whole stay.. We had problems with checking in but not at check out. It was close to a lot of things we liked which was nice. I don't think we would stay here again. It wasn't a terrible stay, it was clean and good for what we had to do.

Very nice property .Staff very courteous and helpful. Breakfast hot and good selection. Convenient to highways and attractions. Shoping across the street. Only drawback is on elevators. If climbing stairs bothers you, request ground floor. I have a bad hip and would have requested ground level had I known at time of reservation.

I haven't stayed at a Best Western for several decades, so I didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were helpful and friendly (Chasity). The room was spotless and comfortable and well refreshed each day. In-house breakfast was even good.

Wonderful hotel. Rooms large and spacious, tastefully decorated. Excellent beds and linens. Room spotless clean. Love that you have exterior doors you can park in front of. Also interior door to hallways. Found grounds to be nicely manicured, well lit and very safe. Staff was well trained and polite. Answered all questions with a smile, were quick to see you were given a room that suited your needs. I wish all my hotel stays were this pleasant. Will be back.

Was happy to see the hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and noise was minimal. I've read multiple complaints about noise, of which we didn't experience. Breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast. Hotel is located in a good area. Would stay again.

You'll like this hotel the minute you see it. Situated on a small hill, the building is white and built to fit right in with area horse farms. The floor plan is a wide V with reception, and breakfast room in the center of the V making everything conveniently located. There is a nice pool with a central glass wall (open in the center) that makes the pool both an inside as well as an outside pool. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. When we were there the hotel was quiet although judging from the parking lot there were many guests present.

Good parking. Easy check in. Friendly and helpful staff. Full breakfast. Good towels. Quiet, clean. Convenient to shopping. Rewards program. What more could we ask? We always stay here when we visit our son and family.

Because of bad experiences with BW, I was reluctant to advance book with this hotel. However, this hotel was very nice and the savings from other choices were substantial. The rooms were large & comfortable, the internet good, & breakfast very good. Only one thing, there was no elevator that I saw.

This motel was a mixed bag. First the good: 1. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. AC worked fine. 2. They furnished a set of ear plugs, but we had no problem with the noise. 3. Staff was very friendly. 4. Breakfast was great. Only motel that I can recall that had bacon (which tasted good, don't think it was microwaved), sausage, and real, fried eggs. Other options available as well. 5. Motel was in a nice location. Now the not so good: 1. All the carts we found had at least one flat tire. We had a room on the second floor and there is no elevator. There is a long ramp at the back of the motel to get get to the second floor without using steps. It took three of us to push/pull the cart with the flat tire up the ramp and we were pretty tired at the end of it. Note: We didn't realize the cart we used had a flat tire until the cart was fully loaded and being pushed. We decided to carry our bags back to the car the next morning. 2. There is a neat indoor/outdoor pool. However, the water was freezing, there was no water that we could seeing circulating through the pool, and there were lots of bugs/insects in the pool. Seemed to need a good cleaning. 3. There were no comforters/bedspreads on the beds. 4. The shower head didn't adjust well. My short daughter had to stand in the back of the shower because the head would not bend downward to spray the water straight down. She has long, thick hair, and it took her a while to wash and rinse her hair. 5. There was a large, live spider on the wall in the room. 6. The room had double beds and not queen beds. The room description stated double beds, so my fault. We had four on our trip, and try to always get queen beds, so this would be a negative for me if I were looking to return to Lexington.

The staff were helpful and friendly, The rooms were clean. The beds needed to be more omfortable. tThe hotel offers a great hot breakfast bar. I really enjoy the goodie bag that I recieve as a rewards member each time that I stay at a Best Western Hotel.

Never had any problems at this hotel. Always clean, quiet, great breakfast, close to restaurants and business. Always great staff and the value is good for the amount spent. Great amenities and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back.

Clean, friendly, accommodating -- rooms are larger than average with free wi-fi, fresh hot breakfast every day. Conviently located with access to shopping, grocery, downtown, restaurants, and the interstate.

The staff was excellent and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice breakfast prepared the next morning with plenty of selections for us to choose from. If we stop in the area again, we will stay here. They provided ear plugs for traffic noise, but we did not hear any traffic or have any complaints.

I stay in Frankfort quite often. This is my home away from home. The staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean, and breakfast is very good. This is an older hotel, but it has been kept up very well. Recent renovations to the rooms, and lobby. Located close to several places to eat.

Check in was pleasant and quick. Our room was on the first floor which opened to the parking area as well as the interior corridor and made unloading luggage easy. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast was as expected with a number of choices. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We checked in early Friday afternoon for a weekend of real estate shopping and business, we were amazed by the library, we had booked a King Suite with a Sofa Bed, they placed us in room #150 we had a little difficulty finding the room at first, because a lot of the rooms on the first floor in this hotel have an exterior entrance and we got confused with numbers, we went inside and to our surprise we found we had passed it several times walking through, and we noticed that it only has an interior entrance. The room itself was AMAZING, giant suite, its basically a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment without a kitchen or appliances. The space was perfect and comfortable, the breakfast was alright, needs improvement on that, the pool temp was good and was nice for those who want to swim laps in the pool, prices are reasonable, its a great hotel and I recommend it for those in the area who need a place to stay!

On a little two-day tour of horse country, we got off the highway and the first motel we saw was the Parkside Best Western. We checked in and found the rooms very nice. There are essentially 4 things that we care about when we rent a room. First, the beds must be comfortable and have nice linens, including multiple pillows. Second, there must bea coffee pot, a fridge, and a microwave. Third, the TV and WIFI must be easy to use and reliable. Fourth, there must be a decent shower with quick hot water. If there is a good breakfast, that's a plus. The Parkside checked all our boxes. In addition, the front desk staff were very effivient and friendly. All in all, a very pleasant stay. The price, especially with a AAA discount was good, too. Recommend.

I am giving 3 stars solid. We paid under $90 for the night. The grounds were clean. The pool was clean. However our room smelled a bit smoky & mild air fresheners/neutralizers had been placed to mask the smell. The ac rattled a bit throughout the night and there was some road noise. I was traveling alone so I wasn't comfortable using ear plugs. We had to drive or walk quite a distance to the pool. I didn't mind the walk but someone with young kids or older people would be inconvenienced. We weren't told this ahead of time. Breakfast was good but the space was just too small for the crowd. I would stay again but I would be choosy about the room location and air quality in the room. I was up a lot and had a 4 hour drive the next morning. Yawn. Thankfully for $90 or so I wasn't too upset!

We drive a few times a year from Virginia to Missouri. We usually break the trip in two. We've passed this lovely looking hotel many times and finally stayed. It is really well maintained, exceptionally clean. Great breakfast. Perfect for what it is. Will certainly return.

We have visited here for the past several years while visiting family. Management and staff always looking to improve. Clean, hospitable, great breakfasts. Would not want to stay any where else. Conveniently located.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and we will be back! This hotel has clean-well lit-great parking, located right off the highway by train tracks, had complimentary ear plugs for those who are lighter sleepers. A large breakfast with lots of variety and plenty of seating. Afternoon cookies are also served in the lobby which was a hit for all ages. If there was no coffee in the afternoon, the front desk was eager to run and make fresh for us. The lobby, indoor/outdoor pool, and fitness room were all clean, and if you need something to do you can ask the staff! Each day we would ask about things to do and they would all share different local restaurants, fun activities, and things you may not see in a travelers guide. If you want food delivered to the hotel- they have a list at the front desk! We have stayed in many places, but this place has the best staff, atmosphere, and personality! This team goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. It was a great experience and we can't wait to stay again!

We made this our base camp so to speak for our Bourbon Trail tour. Room (suite) had a separate seating area. Both that and the bedroom part was very spacious. Unfortunately the furniture was not comfortable. We ended up going down to the lobby to sit at night while checking email...The breakfast had a lot to choose from and was refilled promptly. The hotel in general just kinda looked worn. Needs to be updated. Staff and service was good.

This hotel was very misleading in its reviews. Desk clerk was rude and patronizing from the beginning of our conversation. The lobby needed to be cleaned. It was minimal in being maintained. It was early evening and we are older clients so we accepted a 2 bed room with the assurance it was a well cared for nice room. Upon opening the door, the room smelled and was old neglected in appearance. We went straight back to the desk and cancelled the room after being told that was the only open room. We are still waiting for our refund and we are disappointed in this BW hotel. We had just stayed at two different BWs that week while on vacation without complaint! We checked into the Hampton Inn in Frankfort and it was a very pleasant stay. Thumbs down for BW parkside!

BW Parkside Inn is conveniently located off I-64 on the outskirts of Frankfort, but very convenient to restaurants, etc. Good for budget-minded folks who want a clean, comfortable room and bed, complimentary breakfast and wifi and a feeling of security. The first floor rooms are motel-style, drive up with exterior doors while the second floor rooms are accessed by an interior corridor. We found it very convenient to park our car near an entry and stairway (secured entry with hotel room key card) closest to our room. Breakfast was a good choice of typical fare for a complimentary breakfast and included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and made to order waffles. Nice, courteous staff and very efficient late-night check-in. Note: this hotel provided earplugs in the room along with a note that indicated that highway and train noise might be disturbing to some (we didn't use them or hear a thing.)

Our room was great! The entire first floor had doors that opened directly to the parking lot as well as an inside door to the hotel lobby. This made for the quiet, restful night. We never heard a door slam.Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We were not traveling with children, but noticed many kids and parents enjoying the large indoor/outdoor pool. We did not have time to use the fitness room, but it is open 24/7. The complimentary breakfast was well-stocked. Cookies are served from 6pm to 8pm. They smelled delicious. There are handicap accessible rooms on all floors.

Stayed five nights here during my annual Kentucky Derby trip. Good value on the price of $631 for the five nights. Generally hotels jack up their prices during this week. Motel is conveniently located near an interstate. Though close to an interstate highway, it is pretty quiet. It is a few miles from downtown Frankfort, but still close to a strip mall and restaurants. Room had the standard mini fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. All appliances were in good working order. They offer the standard breakfast of eggs, meat, cereal, juice and fruit. Nothing outstanding, but good enough to get one started for the day. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows were a bit on the thin side, but not a big deal. I would stay here again.

Very attractive hotel, and absolutely a great staff. Room rate was too high though. The breakfast was very good, and had plenty of items; well-prepared. The rooms were very nice, and the hotel had many amenities, including an indoor-outdoor pool.

On a golfing trip we stayed at this hotel. Excellent service, great rooms and a very good complimentary breakfast. Also, I forgot my hanging clothes in the room. I called the hotel and the staff mailed my clothes to me in Michigan. Great services, above and beyond....

My spouse and I were visiting the Kentucky Horse Park for the first time to go to the Land Rover 3 Day Event, one of the top 3 in the world. Even though I made these reservations in October 2017, a full 6 months ahead of time, Best Western managed to screw it up!!! When I made the reservations for a king room, I got a confirmation for a king room. When you're traveling with your spouse for a romantic get away, who wants double beds???? When we walked into the room, I was flabbergasted to see 2 double beds! I immediately called the front desk and explained I had a physical paper printout stating king room and my confirmation number. Rachel, who I spoke to, kept saying when the online reservation came through, it did not state a specific room and "there was nothing in the change log" indicating a change. So either the hotel was lying or there's some serious issues with the Best Western reservation system. Because the hotel was full, we had to keep the room. I did explain this at check out and we got 500 points on our rewards account. That's a moot point because we will NEVER EVER stay at a Best Western again. They have lost my trust in this company. Oh yeah, also one of the beds was dangerous. The mattress was on some rickety frame and actually tipped to the side when my spouse was getting out. We are Marriott rewards members and will be staying exclusively at Marriott properties from now on. GOODBYE BEST WESTERN!!!

We went to Kentucky to enjoy some bourbon tastings and we had a blast! Southern Hospitality is wonderful. We met many wonderful people and the Parkside Inn was no exception. We loved the place, great room (we had a suite and it was huge), great location and a wonderful breakfast that's included in your room rate. We hope to get back and visit again soon..

Older hotel but fairly well maintained. The biggest problem was the breakfast area which is entirely TOO SMALL for the number of guests who meet there for breakfast. Extremely noisy and not enough room to move around without spilling something. Replenishment of the breakfast items did not meet the demand of so many guests. I believe the Fire Marshall would have occupancy issues with this area. Due to this hotel being by some railroad tracks, ear plugs are provided in the rooms. We only heard one train come by and it was far enough to just barely notice.

This motel is set on a hillside on a large site with a grassed area surrounding the motel. ( why no chairs and tables for the guests to sit outside year round? ) Two floors with drive up on the 1st floor. Standard rooms are good, suites have large living area with separate bedrooms and working area, well worth the extra.No drive up for suites which is strange.Breakfast is good standard, but big plus for this motel the pool area. Large impressive pool ( one of the best indoor ) and pool continues outdoor seasonal. One of the warmest pools around. Again why no furniture in the outside area before outdoor pool available? Reception very helpful and a good value stay for the price

We were headed home so this was our last stop and we were not disappointed they only had one room left, very clean large room on first floor with a door to the parking lot and another to the hallway for easy access to the front desk and breakfast, which was well presented with fruit and other hot items.

We stayed here one year ago on our annual anniversary trip, so we came back to this property again. We had a pleasant visit but noticed they upgraded the breakfast from a continental offering to a full hot breakfast bar with eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy. It was a good upgrade over last year a d will return in a few weeks with our daughter in her graduation trip.

Me and my cousin visited here for a weekend getaway. The staff was pleasant, and the place was beautiful. The only problem i had was the pool not being open later. There isn't a life guard at all, so why cant grown adults swim late at night.

The hotel was beautiful, great location. Hotel staff was nice, The room was what you would expect from a hotel room. There were 2 exits to my room, so I could hear people in the hallway, and people outside, which is also to be expected, but the hotel provided ear plugs. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

Stayed here for one night while traveling through the area for work. Check in was quick and the front desk worker was really friendly. Rooms had both interior doors to the common hallways and exterior doors to the outside which was nice for a quick and easy offloading of luggage. The room was quite and they even provided ear plugs if needed, though I never used them. Bathroom was clean though a bit cramped. The room itself was spacious and housekeeping did a great job on the room. The beds were comfy and so was the bedding. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold items, plenty of options and well stocked. I would stay here again. Though not located in the center of town it was easy access on and off the freeway.

The hotel is clean, and the staff is courteous and professional. I was greeted by a very professional young lady (sorry, I forgot her name, brook maybe )....She made great recommendations about dinner choices close to the hotel. Madison, Manager is wonderful as well. The Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed.

Going to Ft. Meade, MD for Christmas stayed going up and coming home at 2 very nice BW's. Always stay at BW's. Best for the money and very nice staff. Love their breakfast, makes it so easy to get a good meal before getting back on the road.

Wonderful staff that goes out of their way to assist and serve. Very pleasant stay with a group of high school students. We were tax exempt and the new desk manager couldn't get state tax removed, but her supervisor came in to fix it while we were eating breakfast. We were on the road with no delay in departure. Very nice people, pristine rooms, wonderful service.

This hotel is very nice. Located close to interstate access. Breakfast is top notch. Would stay here anytime I travel without even having to think about it. Reasonable rates. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

I always stay here when going to training at the KACO Building. It is close and clean and comfortable. I have grown reliable on the staff to meet my needs. I wanted a hair cut and went across the road to Planet Salon. I wanted to go shopping and went across the road to TJ Maxx and Kohl's and Ulta and Pier 1. I wanted to go eat and I went to the Cattleman's, the Waffle House, and Zaxby's all located right there close to the hotel. I was where I wanted to be and had access to everything I wanted to have access to. This is the place to stay.

This motel was extremely convenient to meeting locations and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean. TV Stations were very good. The only issue I see was the breakfast offered was really not very good.

We were greeted by 2 young people who were very nice ! The building is older , but rooms are bigger ! Lots of counter space in bathroom . Breakfast was the usual fare . I highly recommend this hotel . Right on the highway too

This hotel is quietly located directly off of the I64 exit. The room was insulated from traffic noise and the room temperature control is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to Franfort, KY for family or business purposes.

This place is clean, comfortable and inexpensive! The employees make you feel welcome and comfortable. They go above and beyond what is expected to make sure you want to come back for your next stay. The Internet is good. The breakfast bar is always clean and fresh. And the location is convenient. The downstairs rooms have two doors., you can pull in right in front of your door for easy loading and unloading.

I have been staying at this hotel for nearly twenty years. In the past year I have had two significant issues with one employee that had ensured I will never stay here again. I work for a County Health Department and we complete our reservations online and pay with our credit card. For whatever reason, this employee demands a credit card verification and states we didn't pay. I had to track down my finance person and have them resend information before I was allowed to check in. I want to state, this had happened at other hotels and they have allowed me to check in and out finance people would allow us to fax in the morning when my work opened. This treatment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and rude. On another occasion, I was not allowed to check in because I didn't have a personal credit card. I explained my wallet had been stolen and I didn't have a replacement. They told me I had to produce one should I rent a pay per view movie or something. I assured them I would not and even offered to give cash so I could get checked in. They refused. They were only satisfied when another person loaned me their credit card to put a dollar charge on it. Again, unnecessary, unprofessional, and rude. As a customer, I don't expect a lot. Give me my room and leave me alone. Don't give me attitude, don't lie to me, and don't treat me like garbage because I am the only female there. Yes, I said it- my being a female had a part. I personally watched this staff person dawn over all the men who checked in while I was treated like I had spit in his face. I will never stay at this establishment again. Furthermore, I will never stay at a Best Western again. I may be just one person, but my money will be spent elsewhere.

I wasn't expecting much, but the whole experience could not have been better. Well, a properly adjusted TV would have been nice, but that is the least important detail. I watched TV on my computer. NBD!

Same day reservation when we decided to add Frankfort to our state capitols to visit on this trip. The hotel is pretty at night, desk clerk was helpful and friendly. Room was nice, an outside and inside hall entrance on main level. Unfortunately no parking close to it after we went for a late dinner. Lovely pool, but it was way too cold for us to enjoy-seems a waste to heat it at all if not warm enough for people to use it. Nice fitness room. Nice breakfast. Cookies when we arrived.

Beds are small and the room did not have enough towels, especially if more than 1 person was staying in the room. No trash bags were to be found for garbage. The location of the hotel is great and right off the interstate and the price range is a good value. Hotel does not have an elevator so you have to pack your bags up the stairs if you are on 2nd floor.

We booked this hotel for one night due to location and price. The location was great as we planned to explore some distilleries, which are right down the road. The price was great but with that price of course comes the hotel and service that you expect in that price range. The bottom floor is more of a motel with doors opening into parking. We were on the second floor and there is no elevator. The room seemed clean but smelled like an old motel. The folks behind the desk were fine and efficient. The reason I am giving his hotel "average" marks is because of our horrible breakfast experience. We went down to the breakfast room 30 minutes before breakfast was to end. There were no forks. There was no pancake batter to make your own waffles. There was ONE hardboiled egg in the little fridge. The hot food was all just about empty and one was completely empty - it might have had some sort of eggs in it??? There was no worker to ask for anything. I actually went in the back room and found the worker and asked for cups to get coffee, which she said she would get. After a while of not appearing I went back to look for her again and found her coming out with some cups. With cup in hand finally I went to the air pot and guess what, no coffee. We gave up at that point and went across the street to Starbucks and got coffee and something to eat. Why even offer breakfast? There is a Marriott right next door. Pay a little more and stay there instead.

I generally stay at a Hampton Inn or Comfort Inn. This is a great hotel . Generally stay on top floor . This is a 2 floor hotel with no elevator. I stayed on the 1st floor which there were 2 ways to enter the room . Pull up to the front of your room in your car or enter from the hall. The room was larger than a Hampton or Comfort the bed & pillows were great. The breakfast was like the Hampton or Comfort.

Only missing was a shuttle. Great staff and location. Clean. Close to Bourbon trail and gave good advice on places to eat in town. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was on time and very good.

Our reservations for specific rooms made months ahead of time were not honored. Hotel management filled one of the adjoining rooms reserved for us. We ended up on the second floor with NO ELEVATOR. Not a good experience.

We chose this hotel over our usual choice, because it offered the same amenities at a better value for the time we booked. The room was comfortable and we experienced no problems. My husband appreciated the motel aspect of being able to unload our belongings outside the door of our room rather than lugging them through a lobby and up an elevator of a hotel.

check in was good they had room for us since we were denied a room at another best western and had to find this place and this was a lot better looking and secure than the one we had booked and they overbooked so this place by far a better place to stay

Room and common areas were clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Wide variety of breakfast items. Great location right next to I-64. Bed was comfy. I'd definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed one night and thought it was a very nice hotel. Everything was clean and functional, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our toilet had a leaky flapper but other than that, it was excellent. Breakfast was very good and even the coffee was good!

All the people were nice & helpful. We felt safe. It wasn't far from a lot of tourist attractions so we stayed here. The other hotels that were closer to things were all expensive. I liked the fact that we had 2 doors to our room; one from the outside & one interior.

As always we had a great stay at another Best Western. This is the only hotel service we use now. Rooms are always clean and the staff is always great. Thank you again to Best Western and staff for another great stay.

unique with outside and inside room doors quieter than most and a little off road. the pool seems to be main attraction,god only knows why unless heat the water for cool days. the free breakfast can become a bit old, after a few mornings of free breakfast, we were ready to buy breakfast of our choice

I stayed here for work recently and was impressed by the staff. The girl that checked me in was nice but i can't remember her name. Sara the night manager is phenomenal though. She gave me lotion, toothpaste, and extra blankets and even let me eat dinner in the breakfast area. I really appreciated being able to eat somewhere besides my room. Breakfast is good but the menu is better some days than others.The potato and pepper blend was great though and I wish they had it more often during my stay. The pool area is nice and actually has two connecting pools one outdoor and one indoor which I haven't seen in many other places.

We arrived late and hungry and were handed a list of available restaurants as we checked in. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good with the area being constantly maintained. We got back too late from dinner to try the pool, but it looked well maintained, also. Only complaint was a built in night light that was so bright that I had to hang a towel over it to dim it. Such a weird, small complaint.

It was a super hotel the pool was very well maintained. The entire experience was super. Will definitely be visting again. The breakfast was so complete with just any choice you could think of. The waffle maker worked so well and the lady that was overseeing it ..was super. Very good coffee.

We stayed three nights at the Best Western Parkside Inn while visiting Frankfort. Our room was very nice, clean & had everything we needed. We were lucky to have a ground floor room so we were able to park in front of our room & didn't have to worry about carrying our luggage up steps. We loved that the room had an access door to hallway so we didn't have to go outside to walk to breakfast area. There were many breakfast options & always something hot, gravy & biscuits, eggs, etc. The breakfast area was small but there was always a table available when we were there. The beds & pillows were very comfortable! The wifi was a little iffy at night once everybody came in, but during the afternoon if we were there, it worked fine! Access to the BW Parkside was excellent, right off I-64! Would definitely recommend BW Parkside.... very pretty building also!

It was over all a good place to stay! We usually stay here because the Grandkids are close by! The staff at BW are always very friend no matter where we stay! Enjoyed the stay. And will probably be back next year

Was really pleased with our stay. Hotel has a cool old Kentucky mansion look. Room was really nice and clean. Looked like it had been updated recently. Breakfast had good options. Pool are looked nice even though we didn't get a chance to use it. If you're looking for a cheap, clean stay then this is a good choice.

Well kept, clean, helpful. Would stay again the next time we are in Frankfort.While we didn't take advantage of the pool or fitness center, it was good that they were available. The suite we enjoyed was more than spacious, we could have done cartwheels in either of the rooms. Ask for one of the suites and get the AAA or AARP discount. Well worth it.

Wonderful room! Comfortable bed with 3 pillow on each. Only improvements my picky brain can come up with is an extra blanket in the room, a tastier sausage, and gravy as an option. They had brownies with frosting when I checked in! The staff are so patient and kind!!

We were there during August. The indoor/outdoor pool was a welcome feature. The breakfast had eggs on the weekend but not weekdays. It did have coffee, fruit, yogurt, cold cereal and a waffle maker. There was a small coffee maker in the room and a hair dryer.

We stay here every year when in Frankfort, The staff are all excellent and friendly. Great indoor/outdoor pool and workout area is provided. It is close to restaurants, shopping, the expressway. It is a short trip into Frankfort. A great place to go on the Bourbon Trail experience from also.

Such a nice hotel, the pool area is amazing! The indoor / outdoor pool was a hit with my family. The depth was 3-5ft. We was very pleased that towels were provided. The room was acceptable, we had only minor issues but would totally recommend. It's a great value that includes a warm breakfast for my family that I didn't have to cook.

Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel. The staff is great and even the though the rooms are a little dated, they are comfy, quiet and restful. Book a night or two now! If you get Rachel at the front desk, consider yourself lucky!!

Love the indoor outdoor pool! Great value and the kids loved the strawberry pancakes! We were driving from Washington DC to St. Louis and reviewed hotels along Interstate 64. We chose this hotel for the pool and were not disappointed. It is connected inside/outside and we liked swimming at night. Happy that it is right off the Interstate and across from a mall area.

Spent several days here. The first day we had a problem with the shower and reported it to the front desk the next morning. I must say they were instantly responsive and assigned us another room immediately. No problems in that one other than a blinking clock which I couldn't fix. No matter, because the microwave in the room faced the beds and that had a clock. Had it been a serious issue I'm sure it would have been taken care of in the same manner as the shower. Our room thermostat was on the A/C unit itself. The room and bath were very clean and the beds were excellent. An inconvenience was that we wanted to buy a bottle of water, but one machine would not take your money and the other three had "out of order" signs on them the entire 5 days we were there. A trip to a nearby supermarket fixed that. They have coffee in the lobby area, and there are nearby restaurants. If you are on the first floor, you can access your room either from the outside, or from the central hallway. There are no elevators to the second floor, but there's a ramp to make access with a suitcase easier.

We have stayed here on two different occasions. It is close to the interstate and the motel has huge rooms and a hot breakfast. The people working here are very friendly and helpful. Next time we are going through this area we plan to stay here again.

Usually stay here a couple of times during the summer and again at Christmas every year. It is the halfway point on our way to our daughter in Missouri.. Always a pleasant stay, with friendly staff. Only drawback to this hotel is the fact that it does not have an elevator. If your on the second floor, pack light.

I stayed here with my 3 teenage children for 3 nights. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean room and large rooms. Door to outside and to inside hall made for a very convenient stay. We were able to park out car right out front of our door on the first level. The pool area was clean and enjoyed by all. The free breakfast was the best we have ever experienced! A full breakfast which on Saturday included bacon and scrambled eggs and biscuits! (In addition to the waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal (better selection than normal on this too) fresh fruit and canned peaches. Shredded cheese for eggs and a build your own waffle bar! Choice of strawberry or original waffle batter along with a waffle bar with 10 or more additions you can add! 3 kinds of juice, several milk choices including soy! I could keep going! Amazing!

We had a problem with our room and had to change rooms late at night and were told we would get discount upon check out but manager on duty would not give us quoted price. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly in breakfast area.. Cleaning staff wanted in our room before we left each morning

Stopped here with 2 kids after a long day of driving. Checked in and then realized this is a party hotel for truckers and construction workers. Entire backside of the dimly lit parking lot at the hotel was a ripping party of dudes smoking weed, drinking and yelling. Which would be fine if I was a kid looking to get drunk and fight, but Not an environment for children. We stayed all of 10 minutes and checked out. I was told they could not refund or comp the room. Avoid this place at all costs. Far safer to keep driving.

It was extremely hot an humid in Frankfort, KY during our stay at the BW. When you are showing horses all day, you appreciate a clean, cool, comfortable environment to sleep and relax in order to prepare for the next day. The BW in Frankfort, KY offered that and more! The staff where super friendly and hospitable. The location was fantastic and they also sponsored the show offering a rate for the riders which was greatly appreciated! We highly recommend the BW in Frankfort KY now and in the future! BTW- they have an awesome pool!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Room was very clean, staff was wonderful. The kids loved the pool. Great Location to everything in Frankfort. I did have a problem with my lock on my door when I arrived. Reported to front desk, it was not handled until the morning but the day maintenance man was very nice and fixed it right away.

Older hotel, but very nicely refurbished. Everything was clean and in good working order. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Even the guests were cheerful! Interior corridors, but a second door to the outside was great for bringing in suitcases from the car!

A convenient location right off the highway made this a perfect stop in route to The East Coast. The hotel room was clean, the indoor/outdoor pool is great for all weather conditions, the entryway staircase and brings Southern charm. The staff was very accommodating

Wife and I stayed here 1 night while visiting the area. We've found most Best Westerns to be quite nice and this one was no exception. The room was very clean and appeared to be recently updated. The king bed was comfy and room was equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. As it was about 95 degrees that day, we enjoyed relaxing in the pool after dinner. There are actually 2 pools that are connected, 1 inside and 1 outside. They provide a nice breakfast with a good variety of items such as eggs, waffles, toast, oatmeal, cereals, fruit etc. Rates were very reasonable and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The only negative is, the hotel faces a 4 lane highway so you do get some traffic noise. This probably doesn't bother some folks, but I am a light sleeper and would request a room at the back of the building next time.

Hotel room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was courteous and pleasant. Breakfast was adequate and fresh. Cattleman's Roadhouse Restaurant across from the hotel has a great salad bar and steak.

The motel was clean,very nicely decorated,recently remodeled, descent breakfast (biscuits good, gravy runny), very friendly and helpful employees. Location was perfect for our trip to Sparta, KY, for a Nascar week-end.

Beds are like a rock. Overcharged on bill at checkout. Chris H at service desk for checkout was very rude when i brought the bill to his attention and showed him the reservation confirmation. I will not be back to this location.

Nice lodging and good staff. Breakfast bar was pretty good also. Went there as an overnight stay. Wish it could have been a little closer to I75, but wasn't to bad getting back to the interstate. The hotel was close to restaurants and the staff was kind enough to present a listing of them and where they were located.

We travel frequently and always stay at a Best Western. This was the best we've experienced. The rooms and property were very well maintained, very clean, and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. I liked that the rooms had doors both to the indoor hallway and to the parking lot. So we could park right outside our door and still didn't have to go outside to get to the lobby or vending machine. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay as good as they could by offering us fresh ice cream in evening and waters and a snack at departure. Rooms were accessible from the inside and outside of motel, very convenient. Pool was awesome, could go inside or outside, pools connected. Breakfast was everything you could want! Two thumbs up!

it was agreat stay and well enjoyed the staff made me feel welcome i'm from 2119 miles away on a buisness trip they helped with food recommendations store locations ect... very pleased with the staff . my room was clean house keepers were amazing . went above expectations . very pleased and greatfull . front desk agents even printed me maps that i needed ect.

The hotel is located just off I-64. There are numerous restaurants both within walking distance or a short drive. We stayed here overnight while traveling to Indiana. The hotel provided large rooms with update bathrooms and a nice breakfast with a reasonable charge for the room. The staff was friendly and helpful getting us off the road and giving us directions to dinner. Morning breakfast room provided a place to relax and enjoy news and the coffee. I will use this facility again when I travel this way.

Stayed here on 2 different occasions. The first room was great, second room not so great. Torn bedding and towels, no basic amenities such as lotion. Cleaning staff attempted to enter prior to checkout. Air conditioner didn't work well. Expected better from best western.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night while visiting two area colleges. We arrived just before midnight, and the gentleman behind the desk was very friendly at check-in. We stayed in a double bed room, which was clean. The sheets and towels smelled fresh. The pool looked awesome but we did not have time to use it. The breakfast was lacking the typical hotel foods. There were no scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, or potatoes. They only had boiled eggs, fruit, a waffle maker with various toppings, and Jimmy Dean sandwiches that you warm up in the microwave. Overall, it was a decent, average hotel that served the purpose for a short overnight stay.

We stayed one night with 3 small children. The room was clean, the pool was perfect for the kids. Good parking. The breakfast was ok( it was free). We would stay again. Only two story, but no elevator.

This hotel s very nice! It is undergoing some renovations, but nothing that hindered anyone. It was a great location for several visitor attractions. The room was very spacious and had a nice refrigerator and microwave.

After leaving the Days Inn because of sanitation issues a much better choice with excellent customer service and extremely clean rooms. Pool area clean. All around great choice and priced good. I highly recommend the Best Western

I am not one to relish writing a poor review for a hotel. I wish I didn't for this one, but feel that I owe it to fellow travelers to advise them. The hotel itself isn't that bad, but we had a poor experience with the staff. In reviewing my credit card charges after our stay I noticed that I was charged $250 more for the room than my receipt showed. I contacted the hotel and they said the charge was for smoking in a non-smoking room. I explained we are non-smokers, and did not smoke in the room. But the manager assured me he had been to the room and found "evidence" of smoke. It smelled like smoke. Yes, I agree. It did when we got there. It did when we left. But we did not smoke in it. They refused to refund the charge. Lesson learned, and here's the message for those who may stay: If your room smells like smoke, alert the staff upon arrival. Otherwise, expect to be accused of smoking in it and being assessed $250 for doing so. Had it not been for this unprofessional charge, I would have rated the stay average. Breakfast was good. Rooms weren't too bad but, obviously, smell somewhat of smoke. Our room had doors that opened to both the exterior and to an interior hall. Buyer beware.

The staff was awesome; pool area very nice. Beds were horribly hard and difficult to fall asleep in. There is also no elevator in this hotel, making it difficult for people who have a hard time climbing stairs, esp. carrying baggage.

Unlike other BW's we've stayed in. Beautiful circular entrance with the motel on the hill and beautiful grassy hill in front. They have an outdoor/indoor pool and you can swim from one to the other. The fitness center was pretty good. You have an interior as well as an exterior door. Convenient to the roads to downtown, just a short drive.

I have always enjoyed staying at Best Western establishments in the past and always are my first choice. On this trip we found this Best Western just off the freeway we were traveling and it was very convenient. The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, but the two queen size beds seemed a little small, if there would have been two people not of average size. The indoor and outdoor pools looked very inviting but I did not utilize them. The staff did recommend a very great place to eat, but there are a lot of dining spots close by. The breakfast was very good and the check out was easy and fast.

Very nice hotel and wonderful staff. Would definitly stay here again. The pool is a combo indoor outdoor one separated by a glass partition which was fun. Staff very knowledgeable about things to do and see in town. Also very friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed our night's stay at this older southern-styled motor-hotel, perched on a hillside just off the highway. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was bigger than we expected, with a king bed and sofa. Everything felt clean and orderly, though nothing is particularly new or updated. Our bed was quite comfortable and the room darkening curtains worked well. The free breakfast was average. The bedding was a little unusual--a thin blanket between two sheets; fine for us but not great if you prefer the feel of a heavy blanket or comforter.

The hotel is convenient right off of the interstate and it has good curb appeal. I was on the first floor and the room had a door to the parking lot - like the old school motels - and one to the hotel interior hallway. This made unloading and loading a breeze. The hotel provides complimentary internet, which is appreciated. While the decor is not ultra modern all of the important things worked well like the toilet, shower, sink, and A/C. This is a good hotel for people who like value and quality. I recommend a stay at the parkside inn.

Hotel itself is decent. Good location, comfortable bed, breakfast. Staff, different matter. Gave our lower floor room to someone else (no elevator). Had to get new keys 2nd night just to get in our room. Could not open outside doors with our keys. No apologies at any time. Staff incompetent!

Great staff and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend the hotel. The rooms are kept up very well. I have stayed at many hotels on my motorcycle ride trip and this hotel was one the nicest rooms on our trip

We arrived at the Best Western Parkside Inn after 1:00am, and were checked in prompty. Our room was spacious and the beds were clean and comfortable. The shower was spotless, with plenty of water pressure and hot water that was good and hot. The sink and vanity area is outside of the bathroom area, a bit of a concern if you need to get ready quietly in the morning while the rest of the family sleeps, but then again, it's nice to be able to use that area while someone else is in the bathroom. We didn't swim, but the pool was large and the area surrounding it was beautiful and inviting. Breakfast included a bakery assortment, boiled eggs, refrigerated breakfast sandwiches, cereal, make-your-own waffles, fruit, juices and coffee. The hotel pricing was quite fair. I'd certainly stay here again if I were to pass back through this way.

We stayed two nights and never heard a peep from outside or from fellow guests. The room was comfortable, clean, and within an hour of various places we visited. If we visit Frankfort again, we would return to this hotel.

We came for a weekend getaway.. we were quite pleased upon arrival at the exterior of the inn..everyone at the front desk was pleasant and helpful..the property was well kept.. our room was probably the cleanest at any hotel that we ever stayed !

My recent 4 days stayed at this hotel for my business trip travel was not a pleasant and enjoyable at all at this hotel - want to bring up to the owner attention: 1. When we arrived and the front desk people informed me the reservation was canceled. I told them I booked through my company's travel agency and it could not be canceled. I asked them please tell me who canceled and what reason for that cancelation. They don't give me any hint and don't like to help me out after driving almost 7 hours to get there. So, it ended up I called the company to straight it out and finally to able to get a room. 2. They booked for me and my wife a room all the way to the end of the hotel. We don't like the room because at that end we feel not safe and too dark. I requested for a change - they are not happy. I told them I demand for a change. Finally, they changed my room to near the office on the 2nd floor. A second disappointment of the room. They put me and my wife (just a few months of married) into a room with 2 full bed. I asked them to change to at least 2 queen size bed or a king size bed which I prefer. They told me come down early in the morning. I told them I have to be at work early every morning and my wife can't speak English. Your staffs don't care my request to change to a better room. We slept on that stupid little full bed for 4 nights. You need to train your staffs to show a little respect with Asian people like us. 3. Problem after problem - late at night around 11:00PM of the 1st night, the room was locked us out, we went down to inform the front desk. It took more than 1 hour for us just sitting and wait on the front lobby. If we don't stay at the lobby pressure them to call for help, we probably slept out in the lobby. Your guys should offer us a temporary room to rest while fixing the door problem. Bad service from lobby's staffs. Other than your front lobby's staff bad treatment, the lady in the breakfast area is very nice and house keeping service are excellent. A lot of my teammates will be travelling to Frankfort to work for the next several months, your place has given me a nightmare for 4 nights and my back is hurting due to your full bed. To me, until your staffs are changing behavior of treating people with respect, I may come back.

We were very surprised by this hotel. Chris at the front desk was great. Room was very clean. Breakfast was the normal waffles cereal etc. The girl that worked the breakfast room was very good at keeping everything stocked.

Over all it was a nice stay, help went out of the way to assist. Will be staying later in the year. Will suggest to my friends. Breakfast was good, some other items may help. That would be a trial . Hope to return soon.

I have stayed here several times thru the years and have always been happy with the condition and appearance of the hotel. Staff is great also!! Would highly recommend to friends and family. Will stay there on my way home if I go that way.

I arrived after a 12 hour road trip, checked in and was given a room. When I opened the room, it was already occupied by a 1/2 naked guy watching TV. I went back to the desk, and the check in lady apologized, called the room and the computer was showing it available - anyway, I got a different room. The room itself was clean but the shower was dingy and the bed uncomfortable. The following day when I returned to my room, I could not get in. The staff said someone else was in that room and insisted I must be in a different room as the computer has me in room #xxx. Well I have never been in room #xxx, slept in the other room the night before and all my stuff was still in there. So my room got booked to a different person while I was still in it. Talk about a security breach! My stuff could have been stolen while I was gone or someone could have walked in on me. Apparently this is a frequent problem as other guests complained as well. The staff kept blaming the computer and didn't seem to understand the severity of the situation. Poorly run establishment with uncomfortable beds as well.

I have stay at Parkside Inn Best Western Frankfort Ky. several times . The rooms are very clean and a nice size. The staff there is awesome especially Madison, Jamie, Brittany, and Chris. Very friendly and helpful

This is obviously an older hotel, once a different brand, but such a great BW now. The man at check in was great...sense of humor, accommodating, made sure we came back for fresh baked cookies later. Our room was at the far end on the back with an outdoor entrance making easy entry from the car...and so quiet! Room was very large with two big comfy beds, two chairs and table, desk, frig [with small freezer on top for refreezing ice packs if traveling] and microwave. Bathroom area large, clean, all in working area. The neat thing about the room, it had another door exiting into the hall so you could go to the pool area, dining area, front desk, etc., all from inside. Great for cold or rainy weather. Breakfast was very good....typical BW fare, but with two kinds of Almond milk along with the regular milk choices, various cereals and assorted nuts and fruits to go with waffle, oatmeal, or regular cereal. Dining attendant kept everything fresh, tables cleaned, and overall attentive. Out of a week on the road, 3 Comfort Inns and 3 BWs, this was definitely the winner.

This hotel is sooo clean. My husband and I had a suite. The rooms were huge. There was a sofa bed in the first room. A microwave and refrigerator. There was also a large screen TV. The next room had a King size bed, another large screen TV with a vanity area and a bathroom. Linens were nice and soft and they had king pillows. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place, easy in easy out. Good breakfast. Clean. People are helpful. Will use them more in the future. Near many places to see and visit. Like keenland raceway Lexington and Louisville . There are many distilleries in there area that are a lot of fun too. I

We waited for about 10 minutes while the two people behind the desk were trying to figure out a gentleman's bill for his workers for the month. Seriously disappointed with service. Once it was our turn, he could not find our reservation for about 5 minutes. Then he said he found it but we cancelled.......grrr. We did not cancel and had the confirmation on my phone. He had to painfully enter all the information again. The worst check in we have experienced. Then we start to drive around to park closer to our room and the parking lot is full of construction and linemen workers sitting in their lounge chairs, drinking and cooking on their gas grill somewhat obstructing the driveway. The hotel should designate a space for these men.

This hotel is a good price for the area. Room was clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free cookies between 6pm and 8pm were delicious! We were running late from dinner and trying to get a few cookies because it was our friend's birthday. Called the front desk and they were nice enough to make our party fresh cookies once we got back at 8:30pm. Great location to stay to go on the Bourbon Trail!

Brittany who checked us in was especially welcoming; the cookies in the lobby in the evening were a nice touch! The hallways were clean and attractive, and this room was a welcome relief after a dingy, run-down room the night before somewhere else. The property was attractive from the outside too.

The room was exactly what was expected, but the service at the desk by Jamie and breakfast area by Kennedy was outstanding. This road trip took us to a number of hotels and it was nice to go to breakfast and find all items fully stocked even at the end of the breakfast time slot. Kennedy was attentive to all guests and the breakfast room was immaculate. We were impressed that they had almond milk and real hard boiled eggs. Jamie at the desk is efficient handling guest requests even leaving the desk to help me get into my room. When the hair dryer stopped working he sent someone down immediately with a replacement. Best western ought to have Jamie and Kennedy model proper service for other locations.

Very nice hotel for the price in frankfort area, close to Highway exit. The rooms are clean and spacious, there is nice pool area and fitness center. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay full buffet with variety of products, my kids loved waffles and I like coffee.

Overall satisfied with hotel. Very clean. The staff was very professional and helpful. I would stay here again if I were on business in Frankfort. They could drop the pricing just a little. I average about $84 per night and I travel all over. I also stay at several chains other than Best western and I get some good deals. They can do the same on certain days if they wanted. It would encourage more to do more business with them. Overall not to disappointed.

This is a very nice property offering both outside entry (first floor) as well as inside entry. We were able to back right up to the door making bringing our luggage and items into the room very convenient. The room was well appointed and decorated with good lighting and well cleaned. My only knock on the appointments was the lack of digital television and the service (guide for programming) was horrible. The Continental Breakfast was basic but sufficient to start the day. However seating was difficult as it's placed in a smaller room. We will visit this property again without hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly, and our room was spotless. Even though all rooms were booked we were able to enjoy the pool by ourselves. The hotel is also centrally located.

The room was clean, mattress was old, staff was excellent. It is conveniently located just off the interstate. I wouldn't stay for pleasure but it did have a nice indoor pool and families were taking advantage of it. For a quick reasonable place to stay this hotel met my needs.

The room was very clean and fairly odorless. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were divine! My room (with.a King-sized bed) was very spacious and had a refrigerator. The staff was helpful and friendly.

This motel is easy to find right off the interstate and reasonably priced. The night we pulled in it was about $15 cheaper than the Fairfield right next door. My wife doesn't like to stay in motels with doors that open to the outside so she was a bit annoyed with me that I wanted to save the cash and stay here instead of the Fairfield but when we checked in the girl was nice and gave us a room upstairs that doesn't have an outside access door. Breakfast was good. I was very happy to see they offer gluten free foods like rice chex cereal and yoplait yogurt. So many times at hotels we end up having to go to the store to buy something special for our daughter to eat since she has Celiac and must have gluten free food. The blonde lady working the front desk was very helpful in helping me find choices for my daughter. She told me her brother had celiac too and was very knowledgeable about the options and cross contamination. The young black girl restocking the breakfast room seemed bored and didn't really want to be bothered with helping me so I was very grateful for her help. I think her name was Shannon or something like that. She really went out of her way to help us and made travelling with food allergies much more pleasant. The internet is a bit slow since my daughter and I couldn't stream videos on our tablets from the room but overall it was clean and comfortable.We will be back here for sure when we go visit the Ark Encounter again!

I could not think of enough words to stay positively about the accommodations, staff , welcoming that you get from a hotel. Traveling solo I stay at many places and this is one of the first that actually lives up to the standards that we as HOG members should look forward to on a trip.

This property is a little dated in the interior decor. The hallway carpet and wallpaper from the late 1980's could use a face lift but the exterior is beautiful when you drive up its like an old Southern style mansion. We checked in late at night and the front desk clerk couldn't have been nicer. I think her name was Sara. She gave us a room on the ground floor so we didn't have to climb the stirs with all our luggage and even offered to keep the pool open so the kids could swim after being stuck in the car all day. The kids loved the pool and I was so grateful the hotel staff let them swim after a very trying day on the road. There is no elevator at this hotel so ask for a room on the first floor if you don't want to climb the stairs with your luggage. Breakfast was pretty standard fare with boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, and fruit but it was plentiful and fresh. The hotel is in a great location and has a very friendly staff so it's a solid choice if you are staying in the area.

There really are not that many choices in Frankfort and if you travel with a small dog there are few. This Best Western is no longer pet friendly but I had been aware it was. I booked this as an option to the Hampton Inn where we stayed many times and this year their prices were even higher. We tend to go to an event the same weekend a local college has homecoming so hotels are limited. I'd stay here again! We noted the Tripadvisor rating. We found the property to be clean, updated, not quite as well decorated as some places we stay but very adequate! The front desk staff were extremely nice. While we skipped the continental breakfast we understand they are switching to a hot breakfast. This was a good room and priced fairly.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. WiFi worked great and breakfast very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget. The only downfall was the pillows. They were very, very soft. Other than that it was great.

The hotel was clean and well managed. There was a breakfast with waffles, egg sandwiches, cereal, yogurt and fruit. The hotel was close to the highway and that helped with getting to nearby places. Grocery store and shopping close by along with restaurants.

The room was clean and comfortable. We made our own plans for dinner after looking on TripAdvisor, but the staff made several suggestions. Great for just an overnight stay and a place to rest, sleep and have breakfast

Staying at the BW Parkside Inn for a business trip. Clean, simple, the breakfast was good and the wifi worked very well. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful recommending a place to eat. It is a little off the main drag, but an option of going to Frankfort for work.

This Motel is very convenient to the highway as well as Buffalo Trace (our primary destination) as well as the downtown area of Frankfort. Good value - clean, nice exterior appearance, friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed overnight for a business trip. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. My only issue with the room was the corners of the bathroom were dirty. Breakfast had a variety of choices which was great. The only issue is that they have it in a little room and it was very hot when they were serving breakfast. Overall, it is a very nice hotel to stay in overnight or for a weekend.

A classic 2-story "mote," this Best Western is nicely updated and perfectly clean. I came for business and didn't have an opportunity to experience breakfast or the pool, but I can say that my room was clean and comfortable (for the money) and the staff was very friendly. In particular, I was impressed by the woman at the front counter. She was very warm and welcoming, she helped me select a great restaurant for dinner and she made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. If you're looking for an affordable place to spend the night, this hotel is quite nice for the price. I hear they have great cookies in the lobby...

I stayed here for business. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service upon arrival. It actually put a smile on my face since I asked for additional specifics for my stay. The room was fine. Bedding clean. Bathroom clean. TV and small fridge in the room. I had an interior and exterior door, therefore could easily go to my car, or breakfast down the hall. Sleeping was no problem. No noise issues. Excellent place for any traveler as it is centrally located. Oh, they also put out warm cookies in the afternoon next to the bowl of fruit that is there 24/7. And breakfast was plentiful with fruit, waffles, breakfast bars, cereal, etc. Very clean room.

They only room available was a king suite. Big room more than we needed. Very clean and luxurious. Would stay here again. Breakfast was hot and just the right amount for road travelers. It was very quiet and the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Suggested a Mexican restaurant it was good.

Spent one night and we were very pleased with our choice. The room was very spacious and clean. It appeared to have been recently updated. The breakfast was adequate and the staff pleasant. It was a nice surprise and we would stay there again.

We stayed at the Best Western Parkside while doing the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. The hotel was well located and easy to find, just off Interstate 64. The room was clean and well maintained. It took a bit to figure out the light switches until we realized there were TWO entrances too the room - one to the Hallway and one to Outside (Parking Lot). We needed the wheelchair accessible room. The bathroom door was sufficiently wide. It featured a roll-in shower. We did have to go to the front desk to get a shower chair to use, but the chair worked fine - sturdy and with the all-important back on it! The vanity sink was properly placed and accessible. We did think it a little odd that the beds were full size (not queen size), a little tight for our taste, so we used both. Complimentary breakfast was offered, but we choose to make the trip a couple hundred yards down the road to the Waffle House. All in all, staying at this Best Western Parkside was fine. We would recommend it and we would stay here again. Be sure to ask for the AAA or AARP discount!.

Our room was on the 2nd floor. The hallway could have been cleaner - vacuumed the carpet, dusted the baseboards, etc - but the room was clean. The room was large with 2 double beds, a table with 2 chairs, a refrigerator, and microwave in the room. The refrigerator was difficult to open, but kept things cool. The microwave worked well. While breakfast is included with the room, the breakfast area is small and very cramped, so we just grabbed some food and coffee and took it back to the room. We did try to go swimming one evening, but I don't think the pool had been cleaned in a while - the water seemed to have a "filmy" coating, the area and the water was cool. We ended up not getting in. I think it was an average hotel, but the price was right, the location was great, and we'd stay there again.

I like this hotel. It's the second time I stayed here. Be aware that it does not have any elevators. I personally like the larger suites. Clean hotel. The water pressure is just okay and the toilet flushes slow. It would not stop me from staying there again.

Room could have used some minor maintenance but overall pretty good, Just had some small pieces of wall paper coming loose. Loved the size of this suite and it worked perfectly for relaxing and work related activities.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was very nice and bed excellent. We have stayed here before and will again. It's very close to family that we visit there in Frankfort which makes it convenient. Love the pool area! We had fun just hanging out there for a little something different. We go two or three times a year to visit and always stay at this location. Staff there makes you feel at home.

We were on a long road trip and booked the motel at the last minute on the way. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They offered a lower price if we joined the motel club. They gave suggestions for restaurants. They even called after an hour to see if we needed anything else to make our stay more pleasant. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We will book this place next trip through.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. At check-in we were greeted warmly and once the gentleman realized we were rewards members, he adjusted our rate to the member rate --what a nice surprise! A few minutes after we got into the room, the front desk called to make sure our room was exactly the way we wanted it! We travel a lot, and we've never had a front desk do this. This is customer service at it's very best. The room was exceptionally clean and very large. We had a king sized bed, a sofa (that pulled out to a bed), a microwave, and a larger mini fridge. The Continental breakfast was fantastic--so much to choose from. They had danishes, oatmeal with a toppings bar, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fresh made waffles with a fruit topping bar, boiled eggs and fresh fruit. The customer service we received at breakfast was outstanding. We will be staying here again on our next trip through.

We were in Ohio coming south later in the week. I reserved the room online. The only problem we had was there was not a king sized bed available, nor a ground floor room. The free breakfast was good. The room was very clean. I do wish the ice machine was not so far away.

I am the pickest person when it comes to room location ect. The front desk was great making sure we were happy. Even called on phone to make sure how our room was. Nice clean big rooms. Best breakfast ever! So happy we stayed there. Thanks Best western!

At check in was greeted...well not really by two young people at front counter.. The young black man wasn't very friendly at all. The room had a musky smell that wouldn't go away. The room needed more cleaning.. Breakfast was the usual slim eats. I went elsewhere for breakfast then came back to my room to find maid had been in my room when I was gone.Already stripped my bed bare and towels gone before 9am. No room should be entered before u check out period.. Pics online even make this hotel beautiful...which was far from it. This location not recommended!

enjoyed my stay very much. service great, helpful. great breakfast. coffee 24/7. loved the location of the swimming pool, gym. had 3 rooms located together. was a family affair. when I have an opportunity to travel to Frankfort Ky again the Best Western will be home away from home!

I found Parkside Inn in Frankfort by accident last March. And I will stay there every time I am driving to and/or from my visit to my grandkids in North Carolina. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent service and offering of a continental breakfast if I choose. I highly recommend this Best Western Motel.

We were just passing through and stayed for only one night. It was very clean. Very nice pool & surrounding area. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and reading for a while. The breakfast was good and the area where it is served was clean and nice. Serving warm cooking in the lobby in the late afternoon/early evening was a nice touch. Good firm bed. Location was handy for our appointment in downtown the next morning.

This was an OK place. The check in lady wasn't very friendly but did her job efficiently - just spoke quickly and moved you on. The room was OK - clean and all. The bed was hard - so if you like very firm beds, you'll like this one. The biggest complaint was that the WiFi was slow. Really no excuse for that now days. Even though I was there on a vacation, I still get my emails and so forth and you don't like to waste vacation time pulling up emails and checking your bank. I ended up tethering to my cell phone to get half way decent internet. The breakfast was good, and the place was reasonably priced. So if you like a hard bed and don't need WiFi, this might be a good place for you.

We stayed here on a trip through to visit relative in another state. The room was very nice, clean, and was well appointed. The staff were very courteous and helpful. It was exceptionally nice to see almond milk available at the breakfast buffet. Most hotels have not caught on to the fact that not everyone can drink regular milk. So that was a real treat to be able to have cereal without having to go buy our own almond or soy milk. The only disadvantage was the lack of an elevator to the second floor, but fortunately there are enough rooms ground level to take care of guests who do not or cannot climb stairs.

Really enjoyed staying here, will always stay at this Best Western when I visit Frankfort. Great staff, good breakfast and clean rooms with a clean pool. Good for families , business and pleasure. Was a great value for the amenities, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, with sausage and egg white sandwiches , fresh fruit for waffles and toppings for oatmeal. Was a great start for the morning. Would definitely recommend.

The Parkside Inn is well maintained, newly remodeled and conveniently located for business or Bourbon Trail travel. The exterior is bright and inviting in a way that harkens you back to the hotel/motels of bygone days. You don't quite know what to expect when you pull up the large circle drive to the tall portico at the front entrance, you might think you are pulling up to Tara and expect to see Scarlett and/or Gerald O'Hara meet you with a cold glass of iced tea later on the east veranda. This, of course, is after you get settled in your well appointed room overlooking the pond on the south forty! In reality, you have arrived at the Parkside Inn and will be pleasantly surprised by the charm of the hotel. It is a hotel/motel with parking at your room AND an interior door to a large main hallway to the lobby and common areas. My corner king suite was masssive and was an excellent place to relax after a long business day. The subject property is close to local amenities, shopping and restaurants and is conveniently located at the Frankfort exit on Interstate 64. The Parkside is only 5 miles from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, a must see on the Bourbon Trail, and is within 10 miles of Wild Turkey, Graham Distilleries. The property offers free wi-fi and a good breakfast in the morning and has an indoor pool and fitness facility. This place tends to be pretty busy and has a LOT of business travelers so book early. I will be back for sure but the next time, I am going to actively look for Miss Scarlet, I suspect that she is around somewhere!

Very nice stay. We had never stayed at a BW so wasn't sure what to exactly expect, but my daughter and I enjoyed it greatly. Good value when traveling with kids. The high speed internet made her happy as did the pool area which was clean and decent sized. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Clean and good location but on Saturday morning there was such a crowd for breakfast we had to wait 15 minutes for coffee. There was no place to sit so we took our food to the pool. Also when trying to use the exercise room the guy at the desk took 10 minutes to find the key.

Nice hotel. Newly remodeled. Clean. Great breakfast. Very helpful and courteous staff. Nice indoor/outdoor pool which is kept up and tested daily. Great location. Just dont have anything bad t say about this hotel. Great price too. Found it to be nicer than the Hampton which charges way too much now.

We were very satisfied with our stay here for one overnight. Very clean, remodeled/updated rooms, close to the expressway, but no traffic noise. Several dining options nearby, including a local establishment ; Cattlemens Restaurant. I read prior reviews before booking. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars, was because the breakfast does not rise to other Best Westerns : No biscuits & gravy, no fresh scrambled eggs, or sides of sausage. Breakfast did include egg/bacon sandwiches you could heat in microwave ( just ok) & make your own waffles, but just not the overall Best Western quality/variety we're used to.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was larger than most, very clean, and quiet. Breakfast was standard with a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, pastries, etc. I was surprised they had almond milk. That was the first time I had seen it at a free hotel breakfast. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

This hotel was a great place to stay. The grandkids loved the pool and especially the fresh cookies. The breakfast had many nutritional choices. The rooms were clean and the price was good. This hotel was an easy on and off of the interstate.

The room was what you would expect. The beds were decent. Plenty of towels. It was clean. The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, but not a ton of choices. They did provide Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches to warm up in the microwave, so I appreciated that. We stayed one evening as we were in town for a wedding. I would stay here again if in the area.

The room was VERY clean. Rooms are also big. If you get a ground floor you have outside access and can park your car right outside your room. The free breakfast was also one of the better ones. Also has a nice indoor/outdoor pool.

Nothing to brag about during this stay! We stayed one night and housekeeping was already knocking on the door before 9am! Check out is at noon. They knocked again a little over an hour later! Sorry, but shouldn't the front desk give them notification of who's already checked out? And no, we didn't have the do not disturb sign out because we couldn't find them (they were hidden behind the tissue box and tray on the vanity) gee, don't know why I didn't think to look there! However, the housekeeper was very rude and got upset I told her to come back after checkout mumbling something in another language. To top it all off, the front desk even called the room at about 1145 or so saying they were showing us as a 1 night stay and wanted to make sure we were leaving! Never had that happen before! Needless to say I'm not in the least impressed and won't return or reccomend it to anyone else!

Visited Kentucky Kingdom to ride Storm Chaser. The hotels in the Louisville area were sold out because of a Skills Competition. I picked this hotel because of the price and it's on the way to Kings Island. This hotel is spotless, everything is new. The carpets are clean, walls clean, nice indoor/outdoor pool. Each room has a door that opens to the hallway, and the outside (if you are on the 1st floor). All I can say is Stay Here. I wish the other Best Western's in the chain would come here and look at this hotel.

Although this was an older hotel it was the cleanest I've stayed in. The pool area is set up very nicely for small or larger groups to be able to gather without getting in each other's way. The staff was friendly both in person and on the phone when I was making a reservation. For pricing now days, this hotel had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well (a little noisy, but aren't they all). It seemed quieter than most of the newer places we've stayed. Not as much outside noise from the halls coming into the room.

Handy location just off I64. Hotel is dated and somewhat worn. Example : toilet didn't sit on the floor squarely, towels were rough, etc. Price was ok for what we got. Pool area isolated from rooms, can hang out there late. Breakfast was complimentary but not very nice.

This motel was clean and had a comfortable bed. Décor is somewhat dated. Breakfast was good but nothing special. Easy access to I-75 which is convenient. Did not use the pool, but it looked very nice with the ability to swim from the inside pool to the outside pool.

I had a wonderful experience!! They have a great breakfast, an the room was very welcoming ... The staff went above an beyond we had a problem with our WiFi connection an the front desk was very helpful I think the girls name was Brittany... I would recommend to family an friends.. We loved the room only one problem no refridgerator you see I am a diabetic on insulin and I need to keep my insulin cold.But other than that everything was terrific.the view and landscape of this facility are exceptional what with the mountain scenery and all just totally beautiful.

We were surprised by the size of our room - almost twice the size of a standard room at a hotel of this price. Lots of moving around space. The sink area was outside the bathroom and the vanity was a decent size. The bathroom was roomy enough. Standard hotel decor but it appears to be pretty updated with nice tile on the bathroom floor and something granite-like for the vanity. We left the bathroom fan on all night for white noise and didn't hear hotel or street noise. The breakfast had some items we don't usually see, like Jimmy Dean sandwiches, almond milk, nutella. They had gluten free options. Parking was plentiful the night we stayed. The hotel is not far from the highway.

Nice hotel with excellent service. Older building but was remodeled. Nice pool and exercise room. Would give good review to friends and family. Excellent location off of the major highway and easy access to main road.

I stayed here as a kid so I thought I'd stay again. It's terrible for the price they charge. Not much has been updated. Paint on outside is dirty and dingy. Furniture is beat up. Spiders in the bathroom. Requested non accessible room and got one anyways. Hate when we take up accessible rooms we don't need, hopefully someone else didn't need one! We stayed in Frankfort for two days. After the first night we switched to Fairfield right next door for only 10 more and it was 10000000 times nicer.

Our stay at this Best Western Hotel was very pleasant. My family and I stayed 3 nights. It was clean, quiet, and located close to many stores and attractions. It was only 23 miles from the airport which made it easy to get to. I must emphasize that the hotel was really clean! They also have maple and brown sugar waffles, yum. The in-door/out-door heated pool was a big plus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I plan on returning for a day of relaxation at the pool.

The room was very nice. We stayed in a room with two double beds. Room could be accessed both within the motel as well as through a direct outside entrance. Internet was excellent. Beds were comfortable.

Check in was fine. Staff was helpful. Had to bring luggage around through pool area due to no elevators in hotel. Rooms were big and spacious, but did not have a refrigerator or a microwave and the bathroom could use an upgrade. Pool was nice and had towels available in the pool area. Breakfast was excellent. Thumbs up for the fresh cut fruit.

We were looking for a hotel for the night, and were very happy we chose Parkside! Friendly staff, large room, and doors on the hallway to the lobby and parking. We liked Not having to bring our luggage thru the lobby. We were too tired to check out the pool. Room came with frig and microwave. The sink is not in the bathroom, which is also nice. Friendly staff at the well stocked breakfast bar. Great place to sleep if you are doing the Bourbon Trail.

I would look for another Motel for the money. I was dissatisfied. The breakfast room could be 5 times larger for the size of the motel. If you go there make sure there are no games going on in the area. The place was packed kids in all kinds of sports. Nothing against sports but don't want all the noise in my room.

Came in for business on a business trip for one night. Looks like an older property but well maintained and nice and clean. The whole staff was great from the front desk to the breakfast woman. Very friendly. Definitely will stay here again

The beds were very comfortable. And when you are there to sleep, this is important. We were starving when we decided to check in before going out to eat. We were very happy to have some delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting for us in the lobby. Sadly, these were not offered the second night. If you stay here, I recommend that you ask for the second floor. We were bothered by soccer children running and jumping above us. However, even if they were just walking, you could hear it.

This was a lovely hotel. The rooms were big, nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. Free wifi and breakfast. Location was right off the highway with several good places to eat. We would stay here again.

This hotel was unbelievably clean! The workers were friendly and those working the breakfast bar didn't wait for the food to run out, but were constantly making more available. Not only that, but they worked hard to clean tables as soon as someone got up to leave! Highly recommended!

Stayed here two nights while visiting the bourbon trail. Great location. Quiet rooms. Free wifi & breakfast. Friendly staff & helpful. I would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting the bourbon trail who wants a central location. Couldn't find any decent places to eat as everything seems to be fast food

My wife and I checked in to this motel as a somewhat central hub for the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. It is fairly close to 3, a little further to the rest. Certainly not the most central location, but we have tried others in the past with mixed results. The room itself is very quiet and appears to be cleaner than average. The carpet also appears to be pretty new, both in the room and the hallway. The room is good sized. Not cramped feeling like some. I got a ground floor which has an outside entrance with parking by your door. On the other side of the room is a door leading to the indoor corridor, which is nice. Be advised that this is a two story facility with NO elevator. There was no reefer or microwave in the room. I found out later that there was an extra $5 charge per day for these items. Does not seem right. So I used a portable ice chest that probably uses $6 of electricity per day. Take That. I had not planned on using the pool, but was checking it out anyway, only to find it empty. Sign at the desk said it was down for about a week and a half for maintenance. No reduction in the bill however. Not even a complementary 'fridge and micro. I would have been a little upset if I'd had kids and was expecting a pool for them in the evenings. The breakfast is pretty much the usual fare. Waffle maker, toaster, cereals and breads. Some fresh fruit and yogurt. Not much else to say. If I am ever in the area again, I'd probably stay here.

We stayed for four days while attending Rolex horse show and found it to be a very convenient location. Front desk staff were very accommodating, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast offerings were sufficient. The pool had a temperature problem as it went from very warm to cold that was a disappoint for the grandchildren. We would still stay here again .

It was clean and comfortable, but there is no elevated for us handicapped. I made it up the one flight, but didn't come down until ready to check out of the room. Also, there was no refrig or microwave oven in the room.

This hotel was easy access off the highway. About 35 minute drive from Louisville. Clean but certainly not fancy. Guess we had a handicap access bathroom because there was no tub or shower stall just flat tile floor with shower curtain separated it from toliet area. Room had one huge lazy boy recliner. Resturants and retail across the street.

As has been mentioned, this is an older property. The lack of an elevator is a real minus. But there are pluses, too. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the place is quiet, except for geese honking each morning out back somewhere. :-) It is clean and well cared-for. The breakfast is a bit bare-bones, but well-attended and certainly adequate. The pool is lovely--I only wish the outdoor one had been open as well. Swimming in the pool was worth the trek up and down the stairs (I have recently had a knee replaced.) We stayed three nights and we had absolutely no complaints. We had known that we couldn't afford the inflated prices in Louisville, and this was a convenient location for getting to and from Churchill Downs. We had an adjoining room with our family, and it worked out splendidly. Our first-floor room was very convenient with the outside parking and a door on both sides of the room.

This Best Western is VERY clean, quiet and great location. Interior entrances. The breakfast was great and continuously replenished. All staff on duty during our visit on April 23 were excellent. Would not hesitate to make a return visit.

This hotel has not been updated for a long time, but it is in line with other hotels for the price. We stayed here with a high school softball team for a weekend tournament. I stayed in a suite which was huge, but the furniture was minimal and very outdated. Again, for the price it is great for an overnight stay with kids and families, but don't expect anything fancy. The breakfast was good and they offered a variety of things that was great for the softball team to get them going for the day.

Nice staff. The rooms are clean and kept in good condition. Easy access to the interstate and places to eat near by. A good value for the money. I have never had a bad experience staying at this Best Western

Very nice older motel, clean and well kept property. Up on a hill, absolutely no traffic noise from close by I-64 Nice pool. Rather large room with two double beds. Mattress's way to soft for my liking, perhaps need replacing

The hotel surpassed our expectations. Hotels in Louisville were all booked so we decided to stay at the Park Side Inn for its central location to everything. It was a short drive to Louisville for the derby and also for most of the popular distilleries. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. The breakfasts, coffee, and free cookies in the evening were always great to come back too. It's also close to many restaurants as well. Highly recommend this hotel for a Kentucky trip!

Very pleased with the staff and the room. I think it was an acceptable value. I was unable to use the various ammenitites due to my business schedule, but was very happy with the accomodations none the less. It was quite clean.

The Best Western Parkside Inn, is a pet friendly place, with interior and exterior entrances. There is an indoor pool. A decent breakfast is available. The taxi transportation to the airport is expensive. Uber is not in the community as yet. Be careful when leaving the hotel there is a stop sign near the front entrance that everyone does not see as you go down the hill. Several fuel stations, restaurants, and a shopping strip mall are very close to the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff were awesome, great clean room and wonderful breakfast! Great location - easy on and off the highway and lots of restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend.

Living for the past 40+ years in the Hospitality Capital of the World (Orlando, Fl) plus having travelled the world over; we were pleasantly surprised to stay at the Best Western Parkside Inn. Was as clean as our favorite Ritz Carlton! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We travelled to Louisville to celebrate the arrival of our beautiful granddaughter. With all the pomp and circumstance of Derby weekend seemed next to impossible to find rooms. We were more than hesitant when I booked online. Much to our surprise we found a real gem. The walls must be heavily insulated making our room virtually noise free. We have already recommended this convenient property to family and friends and would definitely consider a return trip.

Feels more like. a motel. New clean carpet but everything else well worn. If you have a room on second floor you have to carry your luggage up stairs. TV reception awful. Only a few channels work on small TVs. But this was Derby week so we were glad to get a clean room at a reasonable price. Decent breakfast and close to freeway and restaurants.

This is a hotel that I have stayed at several times. It is always an extreme pleasure. The staff is so accomodating and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Frankfort area. It is a wonderful experience. I will be going back there for business and I will always choose this hotel for my stay.

Good basic value for room on "outskirts" of Franklin. Attractive for a modestly-priced motel. They had warm cookies out when we arrived; no problems with check-in. Pool extends both inside and outside (although outside was closed off when we were there). Breakfast nothing fancy, but adequate. Room was basic but adequate and sufficiently roomy. Only negative was the room A/C was very loud. Hotel appeared to be quite clean. Would stay again.

This hotel surprised me. It was really nice. It's beautiful from the outside. It was very clean, you can just tell it's a little dated. We came as a group for a soccer tournament in the Bluegrass Games. Hotel was very close to our fields. They served a free hot breakfast which was convenient. But the best part? Was the awesome pool! It has an indoor and an outdoor pool that connect! I haven't seen that type of design since I lived in Germany! It makes it easier to hold a a whole team (or two) with ease. And if it gets to humid or loud (which is every indoor pool), you can step outside to watch your kids. We are returning as a team this upcoming May. I'm not sure of how many queens and or double doubles, but we usually go with the King and s sofa queen pull out for the kiddos.

We stayed here for three nights as a part of a vacation to visit horse farms and distilleries. It was a very nice hotel, nice pool and great breakfast. The cookies from 6-8pm were a nice touch. I would stay here again.

Stayed one night at the Best Western Parkside. The Hotel room was large, with entry doors to outside and an interior hallway. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety. When we made our reservation, we forgot to notice if there was a fridge and/or microwave in the room. There is space available for both of these appliances, but our room at least did not come with these items. If that is important to you, check whether they are available before you book.

On our recent trip to Indiana, we stayed at the Parkside Inn, in Frankfort, KY and to our surprise, we were up-graded to a suite. The room was very pleasant and large but the analog TV was a bit of a let down with an extra charge to view HBO. The rooms were clean and neat and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was somewhat lacking, consisting of waffles, hard-boiled eggs, toast/bagel and cereal. We then found a Jimmy Dean sausage/egg biscuit that need to be micro-waved, just the same a scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy. Overall I would recommend this establishment if you're staying the in the area.

This Hotel did not look like the standard hotel/motel. Rather it looked like a southern style mansion. The interior and the rooms were updated and the lower level rooms had outdoor access which was a plus. Breakfast was not as good as we have had at other places, but it was adequate.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but, defiantly needs some updating inside. I did notice that the bathroom wasn't the cleanest (hair in the corners on the floor). The beds were ok. There is a hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and board, but no mini frig or microwave. We never did find the icemaker. There are 2 floors and I didn't see an elevator. The staff was very nice and efficient. The continental breakfast was average.

One night stay. Comfortable room good breakfast. Fast in and out. The upper outlet in a wall plug was out of order and there was no remote. I reported it and assume the issues were taken care of since the desk said they would.

Traveling through Frankfort, KY with a crew of 5. Needed 5 rooms for one night. Very helpful staff, reasonable price and very clean, highly presentable hotel. Enjoyed our stay for the night, breakfast in the morning and will plan to stay there when traveling home to Florida

Our stop over in Frankfort was very comfortable. The ground floor room had a door to the outside with a parking spot right there. It also had a door to the inside corridor. It had all of the typical amenities and was very clean. Breakfast was good too. We would definitely stay here the next time through.

Friendly staff and decent hotel. Trim coming off the wall but not a huge deal. Unlike the other Best Westerns, the hot breakfast was the waffle. No eggs or biscuits and gravy like the others but it was still enough.

Ever since we 1st came to this hotel, we have returned. Can't imagine staying anywhere else. Right off the interstate and close to restaurants & shopping. Nice, clean, large rooms. We like the decor and the wide, long hallways since we do our couple walking here. Great place & friendly staff! BTW, the pool area is amazing, too!

This hotel was also very clean and neat. It was pretty quiet, and an excellent value for the money. Had an interior AND exterior door - had never seen that. Beds were comfy, breakfast was pretty good. Would recommend.

Had a great stay clean room good location it was close to our job site lots of food around the hotel This is a very nice hotel right off the highway with a wonderful breakfast The hotel was very clean, nice size rooms, and beds great. This hotel is not located right in town, but was close enough to town for our stay

Our Best Western accommodations were clean but shy on coziness and friendly atmosphere. The room with 2 double beds was relatively quiet. The shower from the room upstairs was a little loud, however, The pillows were thick, the bedding a little scimpy, and the bathroom kind of sterile.

It was a good place to stay the night, just wish the breakfast had been a hot breakfast. Didn't realize they had sausage and in the tiny refrigerator to put in the microwave until I had finished my breakfast. I only saw the yogurt and butter in there. My co worker pointed them out. Wish it had been marked in some way. It was centrally located to everywhere I wanted or needed to go to.
