Best Western Luxbury Inn Fort Wayne

My wife booked a king handicap accessible room thru the BW app and got the confirmation emailed to her. We went to the property and they put me in a double. I asked to be moved to a king handicap accessible and was told I didn't book a king and would need to pay $20 more. I showed him my confirmation that was emailed to me showing a king handicap but he refused and was very rude to me. I asked for a manager and he told me he was the manager. We had words and he promised a refund of to my card and had me leave the property. The receipt he gave me even shows a KING room which I was told I couldn't have without paying more. I have screen shots of everything I booked and what was provided to me. I am a Diamond member with Choices and Wyndham. I was only staying again at this hotel because I stayed there 1 other time before. I will never stay at another BW again because of this man's actions. I went next door to the Comfort Inn South and stayed there. I should have booked there to begin with. Stay clear of this hotel!

My normal deposit was always 50 that Monday I made the booking through hotel.com the person at the front desk told me the deposit for me to stay the 1 night would be 100 I told the employee that's to much I only have 50 for deposit so I will have to cancel my reservation for tonight I then contacted hotel.com and had them make the cancelation and yesterday I received a email from hotel.com that Best Western Luxbury Inn refused to work with hotel.com and give me a refund because I never stayed the night

A rare gem for a budget hotel, very clean, the staff were very friendly, helpful, responsive and genuinely seemed to care about their guests. No issues experienced during our stay. We stayed with our dog and booked through my credit card's program, so we called first to confirm that was ok (recommend doing this!) and they honored the rate from the card company and switched the room to a pet room for no extra charge. The location is great, close to shopping and downtown. Was an excellent experience!

When we checked in the gentleman at the counter was very courteous and thorough. Room was clean. The cleaning service people were courteous and pleasant. We at breakfast. Service was like most...basic breakfast eggs, sausage, cereal etc. Well cooked.

We just completed a two-night stay at this property while we were in town for a bicycling event. I remember when this place first opened (early 90's?); it was quite the place back then. Fresh, modern, and new. Now, not so much. It's showing its age; pretty dated and worn. The bathroom in particular looked more like a jail cell than a bathroom, dowdy and very dated. The finish on the vanity mirror in our room was also peeling and old. I would say the property in general is in dire need of a complete makeover to bring it into the 21st century. When we returned from dinner one evening we walked through the lobby and up the stairs to our room, the very pungent and objectionable stench of weed was almost enough to overcome us. It appears a fellow guest decided to treat the rest of us to that nasty (and, illegal in Indiana) habit. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable enough and we did sleep well. The breakfast featured fake eggs and a malfunctioning pancake machine. Other than that it was the typical carb-fest that you see at hotels with a "free" breakfast. One other annoyance was that we asked for late checkout but were told they could only do 12:00 noon. I am a BW member with Diamond status and I would have thought they maybe could have been a little more generous than that, but they would not budge. We will select another hotel if and when we travel to Fort Wayne again. I travel extensively for work and stay in a lot of Best Westerns; this one is definitely not up to their usual standards.

Plenty of parking out back, although it states no overnight parking, so be careful. (I had no issues) Staff was great. There was a smell, but the room was nice and clean. So, maybe the air system? Breakfast was good.

Yuk!!!! I don't know who is responsible for any of the positive reviews written about this hotel! It is rundown, the hallways wreak of air freshener, our room was especially smelly (we drove to Kroger to buy an air freshener), serious humidity issues leave the sheets damp & fixtures Rusty, plus the mouldy shower! DO NOT chance it!

The front desk was so quick, accommodating and had great customer service skills. We arrived before check-in and they let us right in to the freshly cleaned room. They provided ear plugs in case we were sensitive to the nightly sounds of the other guests, but honestly we didn't hear anything while we were there…except the toilet. It ran on and off the entire time we were there. But we were pleased with the service we received.

Best Western Luxbury is a class act. They offer more than other hotels with the FULL hot food breakfast buffet 7 days a week. Waffles, Pancakes, eggs, Bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon, oatmeal, fresh juices, fresh fruits (apples, oranges & bananas), yogurts, granola bars and many other daily options. The hotel works hard to keep the common areas and the rooms clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.. Would love to try the pool sometime in the summertime..

This place, in my opinion, is awful! I've traveled 130+ nights/year for the past 30 years. This is probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had both in quality of the facility and level of customer service…no question! I had accumulated some BW points over the years, from trips to a BW in Juneau, AK. I decided to use some of them on this trip. With the exception the property in Juneau, AK that I stayed in several times/year, I have had extremely poor experiences at any other BW I have stayed in over the years. Got here and was informed that the elevator was out…we were assigned a second floor room and had lots of bags we didn't want to leave in the car overnight so we had to carry them all up. Okay, we'll deal with it. Walked into the room and it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Carpet was filthy as indicated after walking around the room in my white socks. Several holes in the ceiling. Iron had scorch marks all over it. Wi-Fi signal was fine…as long as I stood by the door. Anywhere else and it was terrible on all four of our devices. The back on the chair at the desk was broken. Came back from dinner and key wouldn't work on the door closest to our vehicle and the end of the building our room was on. Had to walk all the way around to the front entrance and when I said something, front desk clerk indicated that it was an exit door only, no entrance. One would think that a sign indicating the same would be displayed to inform guests of this. The only sign outside the door was “key card required for entry.” The real kicker, after returning from dinner, was a note indicating that the water would be off from 3am-3pm tomorrow and that we should take our shower tonight. I went down to the front desk and told the clerk that this was unacceptable and that had we been told this when we checked in that we would have left immediately. His reply was that it was too late to cancel and we would lose our points! REALLY! You allow a customer to check in without telling them that you would be turning the water off and that we would not be able to shower in the morning. We could have slept in our car at a rest stop and received a better value than we got here! What a joke this place is! I will never stay in a BW property again and will be canceling my BW Rewards Account and forfeiting my remaining points. It's back to Hilton & IHG properties exclusively for me in the future! Based on my 30 years travel experience and close to 4,000 hotel nights, the worst Hilton and IHG properties are far better than this property!

We booked a room as we had an early flight the next morning. We arrived very late due to snow storm and upon arrival at 11:30pm, there was a line with about 12 people waiting to check in. We waited 45 mins and didn't get into our room until almost 12:20am!! We had to turn around and check out at 3:30am to catch our flight. The person working the desk had no idea what he was doing. And he was only one working. Rooms were very old, didn't seem clean and very small. I tried to take a shower the next morning and facet didn't work. It was about to fall off the wall and just didn't work. Unbelievable! Would NOT recommend!

This hotel needs to be renovated. The overall condition of the hotel rooms needs updating. The room did not feel clean. A lipstick stain was found on the hand towel that was hung in the bathroom that we assumed was clean.

Staff was very friendly and gave a lot of information about the hotel and surrounding area on check in. Rooms were clean. Ear plugs were provided in room but not at all needed. It was full but very quiet. Bed was more firm than I prefer, but not so much so that I couldn't sleep. Breakfast attendants were super friendly.

The hotel itself is a little older, and they tried to do a remodel and freshen it up. The room itself was kind of dirty and seemed a little old.. however the beds and pillows were great, the exercise room was nice with modern equipment and the breakfast was excellent. The toilet would run forever unless I took the lid off the tank and reached in and stopped it..Overall I would probably stay here again but hopefully it's a little nicer.

We stayed here for a softball weekend, the property is older, but clean. The staff was excellent and the free breakfast was awesome for the team aspect. Def a great price for the area and easy to get to other restaurants etc close by.

If this is the “best western” I would hate to see the rest. Room was gross. The shower looked like it was a scene from a recent murder or suicide (reddish speckled stains) and the mold was out of control. Everything was greasy and the headboard and other hard surfaces has white specks of unknown origins. The Hotel was in a nice area but the parking lot appeared gather some shady individuals. Two different vans had people hanging around that appeared to be offering amenities not related to the hotel. Although I did not see any signs of bed bugs, due to the condition of the room my skin crawled all night to the thought of where I was. After reviewing the 4 star rating on google. I found most of the good reviews where completed by local Fort Wayne people telling me that the reviews were fake! Very disappointed. This makes me question ever staying at a best western ever again.

Check in was fast and easy. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and was quickly accommodated when an issue arose. I will definitely choose Best Western every time I need a place to stay and get away.

I was also duped by the (faked?) "good reviews" for this hotel. I booked this through Booking.com a few days before we needed a quick stop to sleep on a long drive home from vacation. I thought I had found a diamond in the rough. However, it ended up being a well-polished turd. I started to have second thoughts the moment I checked in and the front desk clerk was telling my wife that I had overpaid for my room. That is not what I would call hospitality. I just told myself, that we just needed the one night's sleep and getting up at 6 am to leave at 7 am and the breakfast had such high expectations from all the reviews, and to hang in there and it will start to impress. Boy was I wrong... After a short visit to the pool, we went to the room and realized that we had been given the wrong room. I had booked the two Queen beds but we got the two double beds. I called the front desk and they denied that I was in the wrong room. This did not sit well again and they had no other rooms available they said, but the parking lot wasn't even half full. Again, just one short night breathe we'll make it and the breakfast is going to make up for it all. We then started to see the age of the room and smelled mold in the air. By now my wife and kids just wanted to get to bed and not have to move again at 930pm to another room or hotel. After we laid down we all noticed the toilet had a constant water trickling sound. That sent me to the desk while everyone else tried to get to sleep. I explained all our expectations of the hotel were not met and if there was anything they could do to alleviate this disaster of a situation I put myself into unknowingly. They then went into this rant about since I booked through a "Third-party" Booking.com that there wasn't anything they could do. Defeated, I finally got some sleep anticipating a great breakfast in the morning. Worst hotel breakfast ever... Glad I got these pictures. Believe what you want to believe about this location, however, we will not be using Best Western or Booking.com let alone stay there again. Be warned, this hotel is a facade!

I was road weary after driving all day!! So glad to finally get out of my car and walk on solid ground. This location is convenient off the interstate. Staff was very outgoing. Clean room. Great breakfast. Highly recommend!

This hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Was very close to places to eat, and a grocery store was close by. If ever in the area again, I would stay here. The staff was friendly, our room was convenient. Parking was easy.

In town on business and the place i was at, i wont get into but I wanted to move and the front desk lady was so kind, made sure everything I needed was taken care of to do my job, the place was very clean, and nothing to complain about. Great visit and wish i had stayed the entire 2 weeks I was in town.

We stayed here before but was disappointed in the lack of good customer service & room that was not cleaned well. Marijuana smell in the hallway & strong pet odor in the same hallway of our room. Not pleased this visit & probably will not return.

The good: It's a older hotel, but is decently maintained. The rooms are spacious. The beds are okay. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The bad: When I arrived, I asked for a quiet room. The front desk guy said all the rooms are quiet. I knew I was lied to when I saw the note (see image) with complimentary earplugs. The ugly: After I ate the breakfast, I found (and killed) a cockroach in my room. I searched my belongings thoroughly to make sure there weren't any more crawling around. I also looked for bedbugs and luckily I didn't find any of those. Bottom line: I won't be staying at this property again.

Did not care for this hotel at all. It was almost like the hotel pictured and the actual hotel were 2 different places. Our room was dingy, there was a beer bottle top on the floor just inside the door, and someone's loose change left on the vanity. The bathroom had paint peeling off the ceiling and it looked like a prison. Definitely not worth what we paid for a room. Will not be returning.

Economical rate $75.00/per night for a Holiday weekend. Nice amenities Clean Rooms and good service. Very pleasant staff Good location in proximity to Grocery Store, Restaurants and easy access to I 69

We had a tournament for my daughters basketball so I called the hotel on Tuesday the 15th 2022 to inform the hotel that I might not need Saturday night because I had a child of ours who might be released from the hospital on Saturday afternoon so I would have to drive home Saturday and not be able to spend the night. It is a 4 hr drive back so the Front Desk person (Jimmy I believe) informed me that not to worry and that I could do this on Friday when I arrived. I called the front desk and spoke to the lady working Friday late morning BEFORE I even checked in the hotel of the situation and she said No Problem and she'll see me when I came in to check in. I came there at Noon and was told the room would not be ready for 2 hrs so I left and then when I came back she informed me that I was going to be charged for Saturday even if I did not stay because it was too late to cancel. I told her my story and she said there was nothing she could do. I called the number she gave me to talk to corporate and they pretty much told me there was nothing they could do either and it was up to the manager. There was NO Manager on site and wouldn't be until Monday. She told me that a manager would call me back and NO manager ever did. I handed the front desk the keys at 11:15am on Saturday morning the 19th and checked out and drove 4 hrs home. I was then still charged for a night I DID NOT EVEN SPEND there. No calls, No care whatsoever, I was told not to cancel that Tuesday and to come in Friday and I could do it then so in case I needed that room for Saturday it would still be there for me. I was misinformed by 2 front desk workers and this is not my fault. I deserve a refund for the Saturday I was NOT there and for being taken advantage of. Worst experience of my life at a hotel the way i was and am being treated !

The evening and night desk staff were great to talk to at check in. They were very friendly, and patient even after I asked if I could do cash at check in instead of card. The staff were very friendly and greeted you before you even knew they were around.

Booked this hotel because it was AAA 3 diamond, AAA Best of housekeeping, and it got good reviews, HUGE MISTAKE! I gave it a 1 because the bed was clean. The room is filthy, outdated, no USB ports, looks NOTHING like the photos on the website. The guy that checked me in was creepy, his demeanor was really odd and he didn't much seem like he wanted to be there. Mold in bathroom and over sink and some mystery white stuff on the outlet by the sink. Gap at the bottom of the door and no extra latch, anybody could walk right in.

Pros—awesome beds, delicious breakfast Cons—I was NOT told when I checked in that if staying multiple nights, rooms are only cleaned ONLY AFTER a five day stay…5 DAYS!!! Something about trying to stop the spread of COVID. If I wanted to have my dirty towels and/or amenities replaced, I needed to take the dirties/empties to the front desk…how does this prevent germs from transmitting?!? Especially when the person at the front desk did NOT wash his hands or wipe the counter, like the slideshow in the lobby said they do!! The tiny trash cans in my room were overflowing after just three days, and the food in the trash was starting to make the room smell.

Loved the room, and for a little more money than a regular king room. Definitely worth it. Large living room area for relaxing and watching TV. And enough room to have others visit for a game night. And the jacuzzi tub was very large.

Yes I stayed Feb 2 to Feb 4 during the snow storm and the young man that was out shoveling the snow I think his name is Brandon not for sure. But he did a great job making sure I was shoveled out when I had to go to and from work. And every other car that was in the parking lot. This guy needs rewarded great job.

If you were under 21 you were able to stay at this hotel that's why I love this hotel because I'm 19 In anywhere else won't except me to check in at the hotel also the breakfast is really good the Wi-Fi is OK

This is my go-to hotel for visiting family in Ft Wayne. It is convenient, clean and economical. The rooms are adequate and the beds are firm. There could be a few upgrades, especially some work on the bathroom facilities (my tub was chipped and the toiletries had not been replaced, i.e. shampoo bottle was empty and lotion was half full. Overall, great place to stay.

Immediately upon entry to room, I was greeted by multiple bed bugs, running down the side of the door. Overnight staff did not have a reaction and did not seem shocked or show any remorse. Manager was dismissive and rude, upon initial complaint. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT

The only complaint we have is about the smokers outside. We kept out 3rd floor window open and their cigarette smoke kept coming into our room. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Check in/out was very quick.

When we booked a hotel it said that it been fully renovated. The room that we were in obviously was not. Broken electrical outlet, dirt on the curtains, dirt on the walls, holes in the walls, rust on the sprinkler system, and mold in the corner of the shower. Also, one pillow on the bed smell the cologne obviously had not been cleaned. I told the front desk agent when we were checking out about all these situations she didn't act very surprised nor did I get an apology. Checking in was very easy and so was checking out. Breakfast was average. Lobby and breakfast room were bright and cheery and tidy.

For a 2 queen guestroom and arriving at 9PM the total cost was about $140. Our room smelled of musky old men with a hint of mold. It was no where near worth the price that was paid for the night. The breakfast had great choices and the speed of check in was unusually slow. If you are a rewards member and at the highest tier, they do not recognize you for that nor thank you for your business. You also will not receive any complimentary gift for it. Not even a cheap bottle of water. But never have i received a gift yet at any Best Western Hotel for being a top tier member.

This is a tired property forsure. Front desk creeper 'Joe' made me extremely uncomfortable with his demeanor and comments. The guy looked like he fell out of a dumpster at a #maga rally. Conversation was awkward. Room was ok, breakfast ok. Property smelled like cannabis, cigarettes and Tikka Masala. Everything about this place seemed a bit off.

There was this movie some years back - about a guy with disgusting habits, who lived in a filthy apartment, and had hundreds of little gross roommates. I think he stays at Best Western Hotels when he travels. And, I think i found his room at the BW Luxbury Inn, Fort Wayne Indiana! I think you get what I am saying. Short story: one night rest stop on a long road trip. Wife and I show up late (around 10pm) and want to rest. Unfortunately, the room they gave us had little critters living there already. The only offer to rectify the situation was the owner telling us he would give us a different room. Now, why would I want a different room in a hotel where it is clear thry already have a problem? Probably in multiple rooms. Why would I want That? I ended up having to scramble to find another place to sleep, at a higher cost, and lost valuable time and rest, thanks to them. The only positives I can offer is thst the night manager did truly seem sorry (even though she had no power and had to call the owner) and the owner emailed me later to apologize (and offer a bunch of excuses). Man, I know things are tough all over and many of us are overworked and struggling. But in the hotel biz - you NEED to keep rooms clean and guests feeling like they matter and are valued - if you want to make it. I did not feel valued. I did not feel thst the staff and owner did enough to help me. It was a disgusting fiasco. Avoid!

My issue is being over charged and getting no help in resolving. I called the day after I left to get information on why I was being charged more then I was told it would be. The desk help informed me I stayed a day longer then I actually did. She told me should look into it and call me back, 4 days later no one called me back so I called back and the person answered and told me she really did not know why and I would have to talk to the DM DEV, but of course he was not in and the only way I could get in contact with him was to email him. I tried calling Best Western corporate number and was on hold for 45 minutes to just be hung up on without anyone answering. I would rather be telling everyone the hotel was very clean all the staff was very nice but I can brag about this nice hotel that would be at a good rate because they are over charging me (SO BEWARE AND GET RATE IN WRITING)

Good place for travelers with pets needing provisions, good local food and easy access to west fort wayne. Within walking distance, you have a huge Kroger market, Tavern at Coventry (nice dinner), Sarah's (breakfast) and some other cool places. BUT... Pet fee +$25++ was high especially since I always tip the maid for their extra work on behalf of my doggie....

You could smell the air spray from the elevator. It was VERY strong in the room. There was a window left open. There was trash on the floor ands in trash can. The towels were thrown around as if they weren't changed. I have wondered if it was even cleaned

The hotel was totally average. You can tell that it hasn't been kept up or upgraded recently. The lobby furniture was worn and the hallway and room rugs were quite worn as well too and did not feel very clean walking on it or tub faucet Was leaking but we just shut the door so we didn't hear it all night but the tub stayed wet. Minimal Breakfast options Staff was very friendly though. For an average cost and a quick stay it was fine.

I was turned away for being local. I've been contacting this company since my reservation was turned down. I had an interview at a company close to your hotel is why I made it. But your management tells today I CANT GET MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I CHECKED IN AND TO TOP IT OFF SHE SAID I WAS AT THE HOTEL IN FRONT OF YOURS AFTER SHE TALKED THE FRONT DESK!! So you I was charged for not staying and the front desk knew I was in the wrong front desk!! Management even admitted a lot of people went there that night I'm sorry NO REFUND!!

Very Nice Hotel located in Fort Wayne, In.. The building, rooms , wait staff are fantastic.. Very clean and modern.. Building has only been there a few years, so I would say that it is fairly new... I would definitely recommend staying there.

only real complaint is this hotel needs to be cleaner. several things were left by last guest and missed. TV did not work but we didn't notice until the morning when we were leaving. only 1 micro wave in the lobby for all guests to heat up microwave breakfast provided

When we arrived at the front desk the female at the desk was on her phone and did not address me when I walked up to the desk. I stood there between 2-3 minutes before I had to put my phone down on the desk for her to recognize I was there. When walking into the room their was mold and rust in the shower. The smoke detector was hanging on by the exposed wires. It smelled like dirty water. When upon looking around the room there was trash still on the floor in three places. We decided to get a different hotel and not even stay here.

The bed was hard. The pillows were lumpy. This hotel was not comfortable at all. I needed to get up early for work and this place did not allow me to have a restful night's sleep. Good customer service as far as checkin. Hotel had trash in hallways and smelled.

We stay at different hotels for travel baseball and softball tournaments with our Children's teams. This was the worst stay yet. Carpet in hotel was dirty, toilet leaked, air conditioner didn't work properly, and the fire alarm in the room was covered by a plastic bag for some reason.

We moved to MI a few months ago and come back to FWA frequently to visit kids/grands. We would normally stay at one of the nearby Hilton properties as I've been a loyal Hilton Hhonors for 30 years (130+ nights/year for past 30 years) but we had earned $100 in BW gift cards during previous stays here by my wife. She stayed here because we couldn't earn Hhonor points at two different hotels on same night. Upon checking in, neither of the ladies at the front desk were wearing masks. One introduced herself as the manager. At no time, during our two night stay, was a front desk attendant wearing a mask. Most of the housekeeping staff we encountered were not either. When guests see this they don't wear them either which seemed to be the case for most of the guests! Our room was in need of a deep cleaning. Mold in a lot of the tile grout in shower. Dust in most of cracks and crevices throughout the room. Furniture outdated. Mattress was firm and comfortable. All in all, not terrible but certainly below the quality standards I'm accustomed to. Due to below average cleanliness and lack of COVID-19 safe practices, we won't be staying here in the future. With the gift card redemption, our room came to about $50.00 per night which seems about right for this property.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, hands down! 99% of the staff went above and beyond expectations! Truckers and other families should stay here if in the area! When I am in town I will definitely stay again & walking distance of many stores and restaurants and strip malls & grocery stores if needed!!

Check in was great, room was clean...outside was clean...mobile accessible room was NOT...toilet height 14 in. Shower seat 12 inches....not conducive for wheelchair bound individuals...sink in bathroom was to high...shower had low pressure....comforter on bed was damp...

This hotel appears to be nice on the website and when you arrive it's old and outdated. The place is a complete s@&# hole. It smells like rotten garbage. There were people walking around with no masks on and not using the social distancing policies for today's standards. The best way to fix this hotel would be to knock it down and start over with a new owner who isn't cheap.

Our visist at BW was very relaxing and nice. The noise from other guest was kept to a minimum, which we had bad experiences at other hotels. The hall did not smell of mildew, which we also experience at other hotels. The lobby was always clean and pleasant.

Very clean, nice area, excellent staff. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were extremely clean and I was checked in on time so no waiting, which is terrific because I was there on business. The surrounding area is very nice as well, so the location is great. Staff is excellent and very easy to deal with.

We enjoyed 2 nights at the Best Western Luxbury. Front desk and housekeeping staff were consistently friendly. Bed was VERY comfortable. Room appeared to have been painted recently and bathroom walls and floor seemed new. We understand the full hot breakfast is currently not operating. The grab-and-go was pretty weak: granola bars, yogurt, a breakfast sandwich. We recently stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and for that matter a Microtel, and at both the grab-and-go had included muffins, cereal, and milk.

The value was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating for your needs. Checkin was fast and recognized as rewards member. The decor was nice and welcoming. Hotel is close to food options and most deliver here.

When overnighting in the Ft. Wayne area, we always stay at the BW Luxbury Inn. It has a great location at the junction of I-69 and US 24 (Jefferson Ave), is close to restaurants and less than 10 minutes from major shopping malls. Best for us, it's pet friendly! We had a king, Room 139, nextto the exit which makes walking our dog so much easier. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Stayed here one night, the breakfast buffet was very good including bacon, potatoes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and many more options. The room was very clean and seem to have been somewhat recently renovated. The beds were comfortable. Very good option for the price.

Decent place for a shower and sleep. Ceiling in bathroom had a big crack and the sprinkler system cover was laying on the floor. Could tell there was a new mattress- enjoyable. Very nice hot breakfast offered.

My two issues were not major, I did not complain, so that is my fault. Next time, I will ask up front for a room on first floor if one is available. Access to the Net was not crucial, so I did not complain. That is my fault, next time I will ask.

We have family in the area and have stayed here at least three or four times over the last 12 years. Always excellent service, clean, full breakfast, work-out room and great attention to detail. Staff is friendly and there to serve!

Excellent choice, great hotel. We were greeted walking in the front door. No issues at all with our reservation. The next morning we were greeted by a very friendly Hannah behind the front desk. She was very attentive making sure everything was okay in the breakfast room. The best breakfast ever!!

The location is great with access to major roads to take you anywhere. It's a great location if you have an early morning flight. There are a couple of great restaurants close by and a grocery store. The service is topnotch. I was pleasantly surprised when the front staff called after we were in our room for 15 minutes to ensure everything looked okay. There were some minor repairs that needed to take place such as a dripping tub faucet. Room was very clean and the beds very comfortable to sleep in. That's the most important factor! The fridge in the room is larger than most hotel rooms. There is a complimentary breakfast, but we were unable to try during our visit. Would stay here again! Great value

Fort Wayne is halfway between Toronto and our destination in St. Louis, so it was our choice for a break from the highways. We picked the Best Western because it was affordable and looked to be clean from the pictures on this site. We checked in on a Friday night and it must have been a slow time for the Hotel because we were the only car in the lot. The building itself looks very plain and there isn't much around it besides a strip mall and a lot under construction. As we walked in, we were relieved to see that some effort had been put into the Lobby. A nice seating area with a TV was to the left and if you were to keep going, you would walk into a breakfast area. The Front Desk was to the right and we were greeted by Tara. Tara was very pleasant while checking us in and had a lot of advice for things to see in the area. She commiserated with us that we weren't able to bring our dog with us (as we had indicated in the reservation) and extolled the virtues of the Hotel's pet friendliness and pet rooms on the first floor. We were moved to a room on the second floor and went on up in the elevator. We saw a few members of staff around; a pair of friendly housekeepers getting off the elevator and what I think was the Hotel Manager passing through to his car at the back door. As we entered Room #205, we had our fingers crossed... And it wasn't bad. I've attached a picture of the room. It was clean and the air conditioner had kept it cool. Everything worked in the room, bathroom was clean, towels were in good condition. The couch was a bit firm and I could hear the crinkle of plastic underneath the cushions but it was comfortable. The bed was comfy and we slept well. When we woke up the next morning and went down for breakfast, we found that a lot of other guests seemed to have arrived through the evening and so we had a lot of company for the complimentary breakfast. Biggest plus here, and my wife was looking forward to it, was the breakfast. Good spread of hot and cold food, juices and water. Checked out with no issues with another young lady on Saturday morning and saw another housekeeper working around the Hotel. Long story short, for the price we were expecting the worst and were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel and its staff. My ratings for service, sleep quality, etc aren't fives because... C'mon, its a Best Western. Overall I scored it with a five rating because, for its value, the Hotel was exactly what we hoped for.

This hotel is a good deal at the price... but I won't go back. It has aged well but time to put the old girl down. I have to say I slept well, it was quiet and no mold in the shower — all good things. It was hard to find - lots of construction. Just old and tired. If you can get it for $100 a night, it's a good deal.

We were in town for a wedding, the venue was downtown Ft Wayne, very easy 7 mile drive. We always try and stay at BW when we travel, never had a bad experience and this location was great too. The girls at front desk were great

My wife made this reservation for us as a surprise birthday gift to go to a convention I had been wanting to go to for ages. I have severe back pain issues usually kept somewhat at bay with periodic lumbar injections and burning of the nerves in my lower back, etc. I then had a heart attack keeping me from these procedures while I was on the blood thinner accompanying my recovery. We kept hope of getting off the blood thinner to get enough pain relief to be able to go to Fort Wayne for up to about 10 days before the convention. When we realized all hope was lost, we called the hotel 10 days before check in and was told they would still charge us $125.01 because the fine print in our reservation said we had to cancel by Jun 17 instead of the usual Jul 17 cancellation date, one letter difference. I then called 6 times in the next 9 days asking them to reconsider charging us since we physically just could not get there. Each call we were blown off by several people working there including the assistant manager Lee who told me she was doing me a favor by not charging us for all three nights we were planning on staying there. When asked if I could talk to the general manager, Lee told me that if I did, I would be all but insured to be charged for all 3 nights we planned on staying there. For us, enjoyment from staying at a hotel is measured much more by the people at the destination than the amenities found there. This hotel has the least heart of any that we have ever encountered. We are just a couple seniors hoping to spend some of our time left seeing some of this great country we are fortunate enough to live in. It will not include this hotel. This hotel will be remembered around our family's stories at the dinner table for what is wrong with our country, not what makes us so proud to be a part of it.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, very good hot breakfast. Check-in was a breeze. Locating the hotel was slightly confusing since the signs for Comfort Inn were prominent, whereas, BW was located behind Comfort Inn. Otherwise, everything was great - quality and cleanliness of rooms, breakfast, friendly staff, easy check in and check out.

So after a long day of driving, on my way to Indianapolis. I decided to stop and stay as I was tired. I read a bit of reviews and proceeded to book online at Best Western Luxbury Inn FTW . Upon arrival, construction and no parking but again I was tired. No worries. I checked in, young lady at the desk was kind. Lots of kids but again not a deal breaker for me. The first room she gave me seemed nice but there was no tub and I wanted to soak my feet after a long business week. I advised front desk lady of this and she kindly said only room she had left was a pet room but it was cleaned very well. So I took her offer. Room didn't smell nor was there any hair so I got comfortable. I pulled back the bed comforter and there was 1 bug. Upon pulling all sheets back there was SEVERAL EVEN MOVING AROUND. I instantly got my phone and video and took pics. As you see the photos all the sheets match and all of the bedding. Front office lady told me that I would have to speak with the Manger which is fine she would be in the following morning. Fast forward, I called manager she instantly said that the video and pics I emailed the night before standing in their lobby were not theirs . I have contacted corp, the booking site, now BBB, I also disputed charges. Posted all reviews and photos. I will not stop until they issue my refund. GOOD LUCK

Reception was very lovely and very accommodating to us with our dog. They gave us some doggie treats on arrival. The dog friendly rooms were conveniently located by the door and the small outdoor area had dog bags and a disposal bin. Our door key was originally not working and they were very helpful and apologetic with getting us situated. Felt very comfortable and safe - they gave us lots of discounts for the food options close by!

A very clean, up to date place! These people go out of there way to be helpful and friendly! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is outstanding. Staff is great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great place to stay. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Was in close proximity to where we needed to be for a softball tournament. When looking for things to do to fill in time, staff was very helpful.

We visit here quite a bit in the summer for basketball tournaments. It is an easy drive to most of the basketball facilities. There are plenty of food places and stores near the hotel. The hotel is very nice, clean, and the front desk staff is very helpful. The free breakfast is awesome and saves you some money. This is the place we will stay any time we are in town.

My son and I have stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row for GearFest. It has the best service and best breakfast. Conveniently located near lots of stores, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

was travelling for business and pleasure, was going to try to make it home, but the weather was so bad i stopped and was treated very nicely, had no reservation, but was made to feel special, it was a great night, got some good rest.

Nice hotel close to airport but no shuttle (reason for 3 stars)service. The front desk did give me a card for a taxi who were very prompt and got me to the airport on time. Rooms were clean and the front desk staff was very friendly.

We travelled with our dog and were warmly welcomed. Restaurants and grocery are within walking distance. Really nice breakfast with fresh fruit, cheese eggs and sugar free syrup. Plenty of space to walk your dog on green grass beside a large pond. All staff were friendly. Very nice. We'll stay here again next time we travel thru Fort Wayne.

I got too sick to make it to the hotel within the 24 cancellation limit. I called and was told since this was a third party reservation (which it was not)nothing could be done, but if it were not a third party reservation they would issue a refund. I called corporate Great Western and they confirmed that it was a normal reservation through the Great Western Website. They called the Hotel and told them so. Called the hotel back and still no refund this time the reason being that I did not make the reservation with them. To add insult to injury I received requests of how satisfied I was with my stay. As you can see I was not

Reserved room on CLC, seems like some hotels are disrespectful of corporate lodging. We were unable to use the shuttle due to CLC. The room was basic and because of the CLC reservation we only able to use a basic queen bed room. Everything else was an upgrade and at the time of checkout we were not offered the option of getting a receipt. The furniture in our room looked second hand with much of the laminate falling off. The bathroom used a closet size door for entry.

This is one of the best hotels I have had the privilege to stay in. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and very professional. They were courteous and kind. The room was clean and if I ever needed anything the staff was more than eager to attend to the need. The owner of the hotel set the atmosphere for success. She had such great customer skills along with making the hotel feel as if it was truly a home away from home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want to have a very relaxing, enjoyable and welcoming experience in the place you choose to stay when away from home!!!!!

Hotel is fine. It seems like they have tried to update but not all the way. The lobby is nice but our third floor room had some serious water damage stains in the ceiling. The bathroom door was so tiny! The breakfast is good-make your own waffles, sausage, cheese omelettes. The cost was terrible $159! But the town was booked up so we were stuck.

The service from the staff was great and very helpful. Restaurants are in walking distance. I stayed in the suite and it was very nice and spacious for the price. The gym is an average hotel gym. Was not able to try breakfast due to work and early checkout.

I thought it was very expensive for a one night stay. But the service was excellent and the room was average. And getting matinace there was a little slow but he worked quickly as possible. The food was Luke warm.

I made reservations online and the web site kept jumping each time I would ENTER the information so I would have to start over. Finally it took and I thought all was alright. A few days before I was to leave and head to the hotel I got an email saying ..'How was your stay on ...." I didn't understand because I had not been there yet and was headed there. I called the hotel and explained their web page jumping and how it took forever to make the reservation and apparently I didn't check it well that it kept my date. It showed I was a no show. Not happy. I also called customer service. I soon received an email that they refunded my money and reserved a room for the date I was to arrive. Once there the check in went smooth and the room was big, clean and I was happy. Thank you Best Western

We stayed here 2 nights over the holidays. This location is very close to my daughter's house and since she was already overcrowded, we chose to stay here as we did once before. The room was modern with everything in good working order. The bed was very comfortable - one of our top requirements. The breakfast area as just private and quiet enough with a good choice of seating with a tv visible from most places in the room. We found the breakfast fresh and hot, with good choices. The attendant was right on the spot when we needed her and very cheerful about it. Everyone we met on staff was nice and friendly. We recommend this hotel and have no negatives.

Please don't stay at this hotel. I have had the worst experience with the management of this place. I asked to have a group of rooms blocked for a family gathering. I was asked to give my credit card number to hold these rooms. Being very stupid and not realizing a credit card to hold rooms is normally not needed, I gave them my number. The unused rooms, per my understandng, were to be put back into their inventory as of a certain date. Well that sure did not happen. What did happen was my credit card was billed for these unused rooms stating they were "no shows". I have fought this since August, 2018. I have contacted my credit card company. I think this is complete fraud. Of course because I gave them my number and I don't have a cancellation number, they had no choice but to agree with this unscrupulous business. I never got a cancellation number because I never got a booking confirmation because I never booked any rooms. I only wanted to have a family get together and tried to make it easy by holding a block of rooms, Never again!! Now to add insult to injury when the family members starting checking in, they noticed the pool was extremely green. Gross. When the front desk was questioned they stated it was due to some leaves getting into the filter system. As green as this pool was, it started many days before checking in. The hotel just chose not to address the problem. When we went out to look at the pool, we noticed it was surrounded on all sides by concrete. Where the leaves came from is a mystery. Just more deceit and lies!! They did offer to give us passes to the nearest YMCA, which was miles away and not conveniently located. Well that put an end to relaxing around this pool. Never again. I hate to see businesses in my city of Fort Wayne to not succeed, but this place could close tomorrow and I would cheer. Please find another place to put your money, this is not worth it.

Rooms are much larger than other hotels we have stayed at. Hotel is very clean, very good breakfast with many choices. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean. We have stayed here 3 times in the last couple months.

Newly renovated, clean & comfortable bed. Great customer's service. Shout out to Tara & Mark, you guys deserve a recognition for top notch customer service. I was on a work assignment for the month of Nov & Dec. I was jumping back & forth different places until I found this place that really took care of my overnight needs. To add, strong Wifi connection which is a MUST in my stay. Pros: Close to resto, kroger, starbucks, B Dubs & Naked Tchopstix. Close to highway, and easy to find. Cons: Can't think of any right now. Will come back again & again in this hotel if I needed an overnight stay in Ft Wayne.

The hotel wifi here is poorly implemented, connection drops on the second floor about every 3 minutes or so. That being said, the bed makes up for most of the cost of the room. I can't sleep on just anything and their beds are great. They just need to update their network. Also, Tara at the desk has great people skills and sill help with most anything!

I stayed here for two weeks with my job they have clean rooms , nice beds , staff was great meet the head housekeeper sonie she's very nice told her I work 3pm til 3am and needed my room done after 3pm every day and she worked it out ... will be back soon !!!

Not in a great looking area- outside there's a fair amount of trash by the pond (liquor bottles and caps) the hotel itself is renovated but it's been done poorly. The rooms look clean but are not clean- there was hair everywhere- each time my kids walked around the room there was hair stuck to them somewhere and it made me want to gag. I found clothes that belonged to a previous person in a drawer and socks from what looked like two different guests under the edge of the bed. Pen cap on the floor clearly visible. These things make me feel like it wasn't vacuumed. The doors have a gap at the bottom which makes it so that people in the hallway can hear us and we could hear them ALL NIGHT LONG. Although it was remodeled the rooms didn't FEEL clean. The cable would go out off and on for no reason. The hallway smelled like cigarettes as we were leaving in the morning- my 2 year old son had been coughing all night and we didn't know why but he has asthma and it made me wonder if it was coming in from under the door during the night and we didn't realize it. They have cameras down the hallways to the rooms and I wasn't sure if that made me feel safe or scared because they needed them... the cart to get our luggage up and down to the rooms barely made it there and back each time- vey difficult to maneuver they are stained and not in good shape. The AC didn't keep the room an even temperature we were either freezing or too hot. I did not sleep well considering all of these things. breakfast tasted good and there were several options available. The staff were all excellent and friendly- honestly the staff are the only reason I didn't complain- they were very personable and I genuinely liked everyone I spoke with! Considering everything we would not stay here again- and would not consider another best western again.

I got to say I myself has had a great stay here... The rooms are nice and spacious . But just the overall appearance of the hotel is great. I stayed for two weeks and first thought was oh boy. But thanks to the wonderful employees for making my stay a little more welcoming. The smiles on their faces say it all and the tone of there voice speaks for itself. You dont meet to many faces that enjoy their job.. But this group here seems to take pleasure in taking care of their customers and making sure they feel at home while visiting.. here I say Thanks to 3 employees that strike a key in my everyday stay. They are caring, and they get their jobs done. SONNIE (Thanks girl you made my stay great)You kept me smiling. Stephanie and Sam are also great ones to. there are so many more people here that I could tell you about but I don't know their names.. so let me just say Thanks Best Western... I had a great time.. I stayed one night. The price that was online did not match with the price when I arrived. I paid $125/one night and it was definitely over priced. The staff were great and accommodating.The first room that I got, did not have a working air conditioner and she immediately placed me in another room. The rooms in general are fine. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. You can tell there have been some updates but they are not very well done. (faucets loose and away from wall and counter tops, etc) The bathrooms of both rooms had a very strong mildew odor and I could see mold on the grout lines. I had to shut the door so the smell did not take over the room. I didn't want to even shower the next morning the smell was so overpowering. This has been the 3rd time I have stayed at a Best Western with the same issues. Unfortunately, I will choose another hotel in the future.

Our stay was in August and we paid approximately $120 for one night. The lobby and common areas inside the hotel were all newly remodeled so our first impression was great. When we went into our room we were delighted at the fact it was extremely spacious (we had a king room with pull out couch). The bathroom was a little small; the sink was outside the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the pillows were less than comfortable for sure. The room seemed to be renovated recently, however the job was very sloppy. The paint was a mess! I certainly wouldn't have accepted that work from a professional. There were other things that had been done that just seemed very lazy by professional contractors. Nothing that was a deal breaker, but I was a little disappointed. The breakfast on the other hand... top notch. Clean, hot, and plenty of choices.

I stayed here on business, the rate we we're quoted was under $100. Low and behold, check out time I received a receipt for over $200 per night. The staff wasn't able to do anything and the general manager would not give them permission to change the price back. The GM Meera also refused to call me or take a call to diffuse the situation. The only answer I received was that if I came back and stayed again I would be charged the correct rate.

The location is nice. It's near a lot of restaurants, a Starbucks in the same parking lot, and a big Kroger (I believe) with anything you could ever need for travels right next to it. Food, clothes, toiletries, prepared hot food, beer/alcohol, etc.

I wish I could choose zero stars for this hotel. I am a business man and have traveled for 30 years and have never found a more disgusting hotel. Found panty's under the sheets and dirty rags hanging over the shower curtain. Unfortunately I did not find this until the next morning when I got out of bed. Completely mortified!!! I finally got a call from the owner of the hotel who went on to tell me that she would refund my money only if I didn't put this on trip advisor. She said if she saw it after she made the refund she would hit my company card again. Unbelievable!!!!!!! I have contacted corporate Best Western to let them know what was said. I have informed my company and I can tell you that Best Western is off of our company's list of acceptable hotels. I will say it again worst I have ever seen in 30 years of business travel!

Our team required 15 rooms for a 5 night stay. The staff was courteous from start to finish. Our rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. I stay here for business as well and would highly recommend when visiting this area.

Nice location. Very nice and helpful staff. Despite all of that, I cannot recommend this hotel in its present condition. The staff really went out of their way to try to rectify the situation and for that I gave my rating of 2 instead of 1. They tried to be accommodating and were apologetic for the inconveniences we experienced. I was in town for training with my company and the corporate office set us all up here. The beds are hard. Like granite. With no give at all. I like a firm mattress but this was beyond firm. I found the pillows to be uncomfortable too, and small. I got no sleep the first night. Said something to the front desk in the morning, she said no one before had complained about the firmness of the mattresses or that they were uncomfortable. Told me I could check out another room to see if the bed was more comfortable, but it was not. So the result was putting a few more mattress pads on the bed to see if that helped. It helped somewhat. The second night of my stay we were awoken in the early morning hours with a leak in the ceiling. We were on the second of 3 floors so obviously something was going on upstairs. The a/c unit in the room is loud. The entire hotel has a very strange musty smell. The outdoor pool is freezing. If they do heat it, it wasn't working. It was seriously ice cold and no point in trying to use it unless they get that worked out. Breakfast is average and the coffee provided is weak so hit the nearby Starbucks. Unless they seriously up their game, make some improvements for the comfort of their guests, I cannot recommend staying here.

Hotel was located within twenty minutes of everything we wanted to do while visiting Fort Wayne for the first time. Pool area was clean and surprisingly deserted while we were there. There are several restaurants and a grocery store located within walking distance. The grocery store, Kroger, is not one we have where we live, and it's more then a grocery store with a little bit of everything else mixed in, clothes, jewelry, and all kinds of other things. Every single member of the staff we encountered were awesome. Can't say enough good things about our stay here.

This is a gem of a hotel located within walking distance of several places to eat and right off the I-69. I was impressed the front desk called us and asked how our room was. Nice attention to detail. Breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, waffles and other breakfast items

We rented two rooms and found both to be clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly upon check in and at breakfast the next morning. I found this hotel to be nice and I would say here again on my travels.

This review could have been higher if our room had been clean... Hair in the refrigerator is unacceptable. Hair on the bathroom ceiling. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.. Very dusty lamp..But the bed was clean...If we had noticed these things upon check-in, we would have requested a different room. Very helpful staff. A wide range of breakfast items that were kept refilled so all guests had many choices. Common areas were clean and inviting.

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel during our drive from Oklahoma City to Toronto and this was a great stopover. We paid a fair price here. All of the staff members were nice and helpful. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The lobby is super clean as well. The hotel is easily accessible from I-69 at Exit 302. There are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again

First time at this BW and been awhile since stayed at a BW. Joe and his staff were excellent! Joe went out of his way to make our group stay exceptional. Rooms were very clean, hotel clean and recently remodeled. Staff was very professional. Was staying with a group for a basketball tournament. Would recommend this hotel!

Really a very nice place. Desk personnel were very friendly. Saturday morning had a pancake machine and Sunday had the Waffle iron. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and clean. Kinda back behind everything. As soon as you turn on Coventry turn right again. There's a bw sign right there. If ya miss it you can come into the backside. There's an entrance back there also.

Need new management A real maintenance man in knows what he is doing and better housekeeping in the like is family or owners that's doing the housekeeping the manager never came to see us the other rooms smell like dogs so we just stuck out last time we will stay

Did you remodel recently? I feel like you did. The bed was comfy, the carpet looked newer and I really liked the blankets on the bed. They were fluffy and comfortable. I stay in Fort Wayne for business quite often. I really like best Western for their rewards program. Some other hotels offer it for CLC users and some other hotels don't. Best Western does so I get a lot of points for my stays that actually amount to something I can use for myself. We have a lot of choices in what hotels we would personally like to stay in and I could choose other places, but I like BW for their rewards. Thanks for recognizing us!

I went down for breakfast and was so impressed with the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the breakfast area and was WOWed by Beth. She was friendly, helpful and so professional. I would/will go back to this hotel if I am ever in the area again. Thanks Beth!

We were able to get a King size bed and bring our 2 cats. Nice big room, comfy bed. Refrigerator in room and since we checked in a 11:30pm chocolate cookies were at the front desk! Bonus! My husband likes sinks outside of the bathroom too which we got.

Awesome night with my family. I loved everything about it and I would not change a thing! The kids even got free cookies when we walked in. I loved it happy to have the opportunity to stay here with my family!

Patron beware if you cancel after 4. You will be charged regardless due to their policy... They don't understand if you breakdown or have a family emergency they will still charge you if you don't call before 4 p.m. to cancel

I stayed at this hotel in Dec of 2017 on business. I don't normally stay here but it was a last minute business trip to Fort Wayne. The front desk clerk (Wanda) when I checked in was very friendly and efficient. The room was very nice for the Best Western brand and my stay was very good. In Jan, I realized I had been charged for the day after I left. In mid Jan I called and spoke with the manager Meera. She looked up the issue, agreed it was wrong, apologized for the mistake and promptly removed the charge from my credit card. All was good. Thanks

Wish the toilet had been connected to trap completely-waste water leaked from the bottom of toilet every time we flushed...in addition, the bed was not comfortable at all-both my wife and I woke up with sore backs

of all the hotels in the Coventry area, this BW has the best staff and they will make your visit pleasant and worry-free... a lot of new hotels have sprung up in the area the last few years and they are almost identical in the rooms and services offered-breakfast, workout room, wifi, etc- so the quality of staff is a major factor deciding factor for me and other corporate travelers...

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was recently redecorated, large and comfy. I did find the pillows a little on the lumpy side. Nice variety of food at breakfast which is included. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

Front desk was there waiting to check in as I walked in even though it was late. Gave us a 3 queen bed room! I didn't even know those existed. It was great as each kid could now have their own bed. The beds were all the foam, not the uncomfortable springs. Everything was clean and no smell. Husband was happy that there were biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The coffee wasn't that good, but everything else was.

My husband and I had a emergency visit to Ft. Wayne. The hospital where we visited a patient was within 5 min. of hotel, perfect for us. Hotel staff Debi, Joe and Darnel (food staff) all were kind and so helpful. Room was clean and large. We did suggest a lounge chair in room would be a nice addition. They informed us future remodeling will include this. I would recommend and will stay there again.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a family funeral. The hotel and rooms were so clean and welcoming! The staff was amazing. Debi went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it. The breakfast was lovely. There was a different selection of breakfast meats daily as well as cereal, yogurt, danish, pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy. I'm sure I left some of it out! The front desk was wonderful. So helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend the Beat Western Luxbury Inn!

This hotel is friendly, nice, clean. And the best breakfast of the hotels in the southwest area of Ft Wayne. We love staying here. They offer cookies at check in and they also call your room to make sure everything is ok. Super friendly.

Had a good night sleep. Breakfast was awesome!! The staff especially Debi where friendly and very helpful. The room was very large and I should of brought the rest of the family on this trip. The would of loved it.

Staff barely spoke to us during the check In process and was not friendly during check in. Bed comfort was terrible! Breakfast was just okay. The buscuits were not fully cooked and the other food was just ordinary hotel food. Other than that it was Nice and quiet.

Very polite and clean motel in a great location to everything you need. Staff where always available and willing to help no queations asked. Breakfast was great with plenty of options to eat or drink.

The first thing to know is GPS might try to take you all the way to the backside of the loop on Coventry. The entrance is actually a few hundred feet off of SR24 on Coventry. It appears that you are heading to Comfort Suites, but just keep going around the curve as it's hidden a bit. There are small signs but easy to miss as you take in all the restaurants and shopping. Very nice helpful staff, great price, comfortable room, excellent breakfast. I give them 2 thumbs up!!

Your check in attendee was KIND, COURTEOUS and HELPFUL! Room was very clean, beds comfortable and Breakfast was good! Would definitely recommend this hotel! It seemed to be in close proximity to several places of interest as well.

I was recently referred to this hotel by the Vice President of the United States himself. I had never met Joe before, but heard his name around the community for all he does for the community. It is great to have a manager of a hotek with such a great name in the community in which he lives. After meeting Joe in person for the first time it is no wonder so many people revere him. He is a people person like I had never seen before. He helped get my luggage out of my room and it was clear he cares about what he does. We have an upcoming event in fort Wayne and will be staying at this hotel solely because of Joe Townsend. God bless this great American patriot.

Great customer service all around, along with good room and breakfast with plenty of tables to eat at. Business center was very useful, as needed to print out some materials. Hotel location just off interstate, but hard to find as hidden from view - my Garmin got me there easily.

The hotel is just off the I69 and has a Kroger and a Starbucks in easy walking distance which proved very handy. There were also a variety of restaurants really close by. The breakfast room was spacious, bright and very well supplied.

The room was amazing. It had three double size beds. Shower and bathroom was very clean. The beds were extra comfortable. Linens and towels smelled really good. It was a great experience. I will be recommending this hotel for my teams when they come to play soccer 3 years form now 2020.

We drove in from IL to attend a baby shower. Our stay was great! Loved the chocolate chip cookies! Great before bed treat. Breakfast was great also nice selection. Rooms very clean, beds very comfy although a bit high off the ground for my mom & mother in law.

Good hotel that takes dogs without an exorbitant fee. ($20/pet/night) The room furnishings were a little dated, although most of it has been upgraded. Recommended, especially if you are traveling with pets.

This was the last of our AAU basketball tournament trips. We had three of our boys with us. Free breakfast; all day free juice, coffee and hot cocoa was a big plus. The outdoor pool was great even though we didn't use it. Just didn't have time. Great for our budget.

We arrived early at the hotel. (It was pouring rain, so could not to start our job elswhere.) The girl was able to get us a room after a little while, for which we were thankful. Despite the rain we were ready to leave town a day before our reservation was up. When we told Joe we were checking out early, he responded with a smug look and said "You can, but the room was booked on line and is prepaid." Then he ran the card and printed it out to prove it. So we drove the extra miles to and from the hotel since the had charged us. The stay was booked on Best Western's website like all our stays and we have never had that problem before. Anna was a bright spot, she was smiing, happy and helpful anytime we saw her. The room was great, but there really is not good truck parking as advertised. (Every truck had to drag their trailer over the curb in the turn around or pull into Comfort Inn & back in.) Stay at the Comfort Inn, they have drive around parking & everyone seemed happy to work there.

The BW Luxbury is very convenient for visiting Lutheran Hospital, the purpose of our stay. The price is a good value. There are several other hotels in the area and the BW provided a very comfortable room for lower cost than the others. Breakfast is fine, eggs, waffles, cereal, tended by a very cheerful lady. This is the second time we have stayed at the Luxbury and would do so again.

First the positives - check in was efficient, TV worked well, wifi was fast & reliable, bed was comfortable, fitness center equipment worked, breakfast fare was good, & the room was clean. Staff were friendly & the rate was reasonable. Now the negatives - A/C was clearly not working when I checked in, & after complaining several times, I was moved to another room. Microfridge did not work, so staff stored my perishable food overnight in the hotel fridge & the toilet ran every 30 seconds. I doubt that I would stay there again.

Stayed here as my father had to be at Lutheran Hospital at 6:00 am. for heart surgery. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Have stayed here several times and have excellent experience.

OK experience. AC didn't seem to be working (had at lowest temp) and we kept waking up throughout the night because it was so hot in our room. Breakfast was ok. Kids were happy with the waffle maker and strawberry sauce. The eggs/cheese were cold. I think these are pre-made, frozen and then thawed for the breakfast.

We reserved a 2 nite stay for one room. Our confirmation stated that!!! Had that as proof! But when we checked-in - told us we had reserved 2rooms for 2 nights. Wanted to take care of the problem with the manager but would NEVER show up to talk to us, was given diff times he would be there, but in 2 days NEVER showed, even the staff was looking for Dev- I guess he couldn't look us in the face or hotel needed the money, cause it was empty. Very BAD experience. Wished I would hav stayed at the Hilton, after what we got charged. Just be careful, don't let them stick you for an EXTRA nite!!!! We didn't need the hassle, we were in town for a family emergency. Learned my lesson with Best Western -

Stayed at this property for 5 nights in June 2017. Initial impressions were good. Excellent front counter staff who were always easy to find and *very* helpful throughout my stay. Room was a good size and had everything I needed. Queen bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have extra blankets in the room (I didn't ask to have them brought up). Floor needed a vacuum but otherwise the room was clean. Didn't get housekeeping 2 of the 5 nights I was there (they looked to be short staff on housekeeping). Breakfast was free and OK. Hot items included eggs (scrambled or pre-made eggs+American cheese) and either breakfast sausages or patties. Limited bread choices. Apples were provided and were perfect. Coffee and juice were good too.

Hotel is close to airport. Close to a new-nice pedicure/manicure place! Nice hotel exercise room. Good coffee. Large screen TV in hotel rooms. Good lighting in the bathroom for the application of makeup!

This place is great. Close to many restaurants, a grocery store and gas stations. Great manager. Comfortable. Nice pool area, great breakfast and nice workout room. Friendly staff. When in Ft. Wayne, you should stay here.

The hotel staff were all Professional, Friendly and Courteous. Breakfast at other hotels have been a gamble for us. Sometimes its ok, sometimes - not so much. I was quite impressed with the quality of breakfast foods served. I'm a sausage gravy snob, and what you served was AWESOME as was the other items. Very good value for me and the family. The place was clean with friendly staff, had to play with heater in order to work, but was ok after that, wish the eggs served was not from a can, overall a nice stay, it is a recommendable place though the location is a little ackward to get to by car because you have to drive in front of another hotel to access it

Rooms were not clean. Sheets were not changed out in the 2 weeks I was there. Construction caused excess dust in room and noise conflicted with work. Breakfast was powder eggs, biscuit, sausage gravy and breakfast sausage, waffles. No diversity

Okay as a road rep traveling across the Mid West I have truly found a great place to stay in Fort Wayne,Indiana.The Best Western Luxbury Inn is and has been my choice for over 20 years.During the last 8 or 9 year it has been run by Meera Piprottar and her husband.I will say this that I have never written a negative review for this great hotel when BW has asked my opinion.Why? Simple I couldn't find anything negative about my stays.From check in, to a nice clean and warm comfortable room (in the Fall and Winter) or cool room (in the Spring and Summer) to a great quite and restful sleep overnight it has been very special.There breakfast menu in the morning is loaded with super good things to eat.! A great way to start your day for sure.So people if you are planning a trip to Fort Wayne or just passing through as I do with my job you as I have for multiple years.... Never regret it!!!

We stayed here for the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend. The lobby is so beautiful. I felt like I was at home. The breakfast room was spacious too!

I can look past an outdated room but the dust and dirt in the room was horrible. When reported to staff they did not even acknowledge my statement. I have stayed at this location before but will never again. Luckily I had Lysol wipes and was able to wipe down the room myself.

The hotel offered ample parking,clean and modern lobby/lounge.The room was very clean,good sized, and included a mini fridge/microwave.Breakfast was spot on - hot,yummy,with so many options!Banna and Sam are fabulous hosts who truly care for their patrons.

We arrived in Fort Wayne for a family emergency and this was basically the only hotel available because of a Vera Bradley sale. We received a room that was supposedly the last one available and was to be the executive suite! What a joke! The room was in need of a major renovation. We were charged $150 a night, not worth the value. We spent a week here. We had one lightweight blanket on the bed and it was cold at night. The blackout curtain was broken and didn't keep out the light from the big parking lot lights. The trash was not emptied on several days and I had to make a issue of the trash not being removed by putting the trash cans in the middle of the room. The Kleenex was not replaced when it ran out, the sink was not cleaned. The soap dish was not cleaned and the bed wasn't made; housekeeping merely pulled the cover up. The bathroom floor was mopped with who knows what!

We stayed for one night with our dog and everything was fine - service, room and amenities. The room was big enough and king bed is a king bed! A/C is a bit noisy as well as I had to turn the fridge off for the night as it made some noise. Otherwise, we liked everything!

Visited fort Wayne so many time, room was great, out dated tho, WiFi. Keep going out. There was an odor in hallway coming up the stairs .. Manager housekeeper mad place smelled really nice. My concerns were front desk, no smiles, rude attitude, front desk older short lady being rude on phone. I always see different workers here Everytime I come here. Apparently. Came here before and it was great, till the day we came out of our room, WE SAw Mira waving her fingers in employee face. Making her cry, cussing and belittle her. Felt sorry for employee. Will never be return, we hate racism.. wifi also wasn't working called front desk, and Britt said it was my problem to fix

Location could be better. It sets behind another hotel but there are directional signs to help find it. Had a new employee help us with the manager helping her. It want alright, took a little longer than what I would liked but I get have one of their cookies. Rooms are large and furnished very well.

I stopped here for 1 night with 2 Shih Tzu's. The fee was fair at $20.00, but if you only have 1 dog they still charge $20.00. I didn't think that was fair to folks that only had 1 dog. The room was clean and quiet, I think because the ceilings between the 1st and 2nd floor was concrete.

We stayed in this hotel for a function. Staff was extremely helpful and offered to assist us with dinner and also discount coupons. Room was very clean and nicely maintained There has been some recent updates to this hotel which was nice. Breakfast was nice and breakfast area was clean.

We have stayed here for the past 5 years straight and was great and a wonderful experience with the property and staff ! This year we had reserved a King Suite . We arrived and place was not busy at all . Checked me in and I told them we had a small Federally Registered Service Dog , that weighed 12 lbs and stayed in a carrier . they then cancelled the nice suite and told us we had to take a "Pet Friendly" Room ? We went to check it out and it had 2 beds , not a King , and it smelled like a kennel ! So "Pet Friendly " means they dont clean it ! I said " I dont think so " and told the wife we will go to the Sheridan or somewhere like it . He then called his manager and tried to get us another room , the manager kept try'ing to pass off bad rooms , but he told them not available . He then hooked us up with a Handi Cap Acess room #108 , he said had to be on 1st floor ( Which was ok with us ). The room was acceptable but not like our previous stays ! Desk Clerk then had us fill out pet waiver paper for deposit and cleaning charges , which they cant do ( I just pet N/A on all the spaces and signed ) , also had us give them a copy of the registration of the service animal . Hey Best Western , a service animal is not considered a PET ! Your manager needs to read the Federal Laws and understand them , we are ok and understand how some people with pets are and that you have to protect your property , but the laws are on the peoples side on this issue and you need to be careful ! Our stay was good and the staff was ok, breakfast could have been better . Next year we are looker for better and closer place to our venue (The Coliseum). I wont say avoid or anything bad about the place , but they lost our business.

Kellee at the front desk was very helpful. She gave us coupons to nearby restaurants. She had to come to our room 3 times to deliver 3 separate things. She was very friendly, down to earth, and patient. Best Western had a great breakfast, and the rooms were what we expected. Thank you!

We had a room with two double beds and a couch with a fold out bed. The couch bed was such a pleasant surprise, as I was traveling with my three sons, and we had plenty of room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a nice sized shower and it was clean with no mold. Though we didn't have time to use it, the pool looked nice, and the overall appearance and atmosphere of the hotel was clean, calm, and relaxing. We had to leave by 6:45AM, and breakfast was not posted until 7AM. However, when I spoke to the person at the front desk, she assured me there would be cold breakfast items and waffles available, including juice and coffee, but the hot items wouldn't be available until 7AM. We were able to eat before leaving, and we greatly appreciated having that. I was very pleased with our stay, and I will certainly be inclined to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here when attending a concert in town. Staff was friendly and lobby is fresh and updated. Rooms will hopefully follow. Not bad, just dated. Was impressed when a staff member tried to discuss internal detail in front of desk customer AND the head clerk deferred conversations for "later." She did the right thing and showed how important her customers were.

I was just there one night. I arrived late and had a srive the next mornng. I needed an extra blanket. Mary at the fron desk was super sweet and helpful and brought it right up with no complaining at like 1 in the morning. She made the trip there very nice for my first visit,

We had book our room a month in advance, booking a king due to there was just the two of us this trip. The room that we were given was not clean so we were given an other not that it was made up and not clean it just had not be touched at all. The room we were given was very clean. There were three full beds in the room. This would be great for a family with kids. We travel with ours most of the time, would love to have more hotels like this room. Most of the time one of ours ends up on the pull out or a roll away. It is in a great location close to the interstate. You can get to several restaurants, movies and grocers store with out getting back on the main road. You have to eat a Sarah's if you stay .

we were returning from a wedding and stayed at the hotel again in the way back as it was the best value and a clean, restful stop. At check-in, the person at the front desk was very nice and friendly. Upon hearing that we were return customers, she upgraded our rooms and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. It made our pleasant trip even better.

We have stayed at the Luxbury Inn Fort Wayne a couple of times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The meeting rooms are updated and comfortable, lighting is good, sound is good. We will stay here again !

The hotel is nice, clean and modern at first. But then when you get to the room everything is old and needing a serious new look. Our door wouldn't stay shut unless you locked it, serious security issue! AC was black from dust, bathroom grout was black and shower head pipes were coming out of the wall, carpet was old and dusty and the yogurt at breakfast was curdled...I just about threw up when I opened it. When I brought this up to whom I assume was the manager, she gave a polite sorry and sent me on my way... I guess she is used to the complaints..??? Over all, we slept fine. But will absolutely never stay here again unless they do some serious remodeling! And get their staff to deep clean the rooms better!

This hotel is a great value - a reasonably priced, large, and clean room. There are a great selection of restaurants nearby. Check-in and check-out were very fast and desk persons courteous and professional. Wifi was faster than we normally encounter in other hotels. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here overnight with my 2 sons and my little dog. I chose it based on Trip Advisor reviews and that it was pet friendly (my little dog travels everywhere with us). I don't know what the person below is talking about - her (or his) review states that they had cold showers, loud AC and a musty smell in all 3 of their rooms - I don't know where that person was staying, but it doesn't sound like this place at all. All 3 of us had nice hot showers, the AC in the room was fine, no issues (wasn't any louder or quieter than most other hotels I have stayed in, and I have stayed in MANY different hotels from MANY different hotel chains). And for us, there was no musty smell in the room, or in the entire hotel for that matter (and I am very sensitive to any offensive or musty odor, and I couldn't smell any from here). Nice professional staff, check in and out was easy and quick, nice hot breakfast (no powdery eggs for our stay), clean room, conveniently located, nice (clean) green grass area for pets, decent price - not a whole lot more you could ask for. Would stay here again.

Three different room reservations. Suite not as advertised. Cold showers, loud air conditioners, musty smell - in all three rooms. Powdery eggs. The customer service, however was good, they tried to make up for the problems, and were very, very nice. But the problems need to be addressed.

We stayed only one night as we were on our way to Missouri. It was conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, Krogers grocery store, and Walgreens. The hotel was not busy. We had a spacious room with all the amenities. The complimentary breakfast was the usual Best Western and was adequate. We have no complaints.

Not sure why it is rated as highly as it is. The outside of the hotel looks like it does need a bit of a facelift. The lobby was fine. The staff at check in were pleasant enough. The room was okay. Beds were clean and comfortable. There was mildew on the bathtub faucet. Breakfast was okay. Nice to have a little more variety than just make your own waffles and pastries. It wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to stay there again. However, there are several other choices in the area.

Our son was having surgery early the next morning at a local hospital so we made the 2-hour drive to stay the night before. While it is an older hotel and could use some updating, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was not working in the room so we were immediately moved to another room. Matt who was working the front desk was very friendly and efficient. Because we had to be over at the hospital by 5:00 in the morning we were not able to partake of the breakfast which was included since it was not served until 6:00.

Hotel hard to find, roadwork in the area didn't help. It's located in a very busy area. Lots of fast food and chain restaurants in the area. Front desk staff when I checked in was friendly and helpful. Room was outdated and the lighting wasn't very good, layout is odd with the toilet/shower area right by the door. The sink is in the hallway area. My window had a view of the back of a shopping mall. Room was clean though, and everything worked except the desk chair had a broken arm. Low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was typical of a mid range hotel that has free breakfast. My room was quiet but I don't think there were many people staying there that night. One thing that always turns me off is a hotel that places a list of the cost of items in the room (towels, hair dryer, etc) out for the guests, which leads me to believe that the customers that stay there are in the habit of stealing. Doesn't make me feel safe when I travel alone. I'll probably stay somewhere else the next time I'm in Fort Wayne.

My 14 y.o. son and I traveled to Ft. Wayne in June 2016 so he could participate in a speed (Rubik's) cubing competition. Never having been to the area I was starting from scratch as far as finding a hotel for our one night stay. I chose the BW Luxbury Inn after reading TripAdvisor reviews. It's located outside of town but conveniently right off the interstate. This is a newer hotel with a contemporary look and feel, large and comfortable rooms, and we were very happy with our choice. The competition took place the next morning in downtown Ft. Wayne which took us less than 15 minutes to reach with no traffic. The hotel is near other retail establishments, including roadside restaurants (chains) and a Starbucks for morning coffee. Overall I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. It was an excellent choice at a reasonable price.

Hotel was clean, but seems like the "queen" bed was more like a full. Amenities were pretty cheap compared to other competitors' amenities. Bathroom could have been larger, and lighting can be improved. Hard to get to - need better signs.

First appearance is good. Hot breakfast also good. Pricing was more than competitive. Only issues: Double bed - seemed small after past experiences at home and away, Pillows not to my liking, and Staff was very polite, but did not present the friendly atmosphere that other hotel chains strive so hard to present.

Building appearance ok. Landscaping and debris in shrubbery and parking lot needs attention. Minor details in rooms makes for problems..... bath fixtures, faucets; sticky entry door, bathroom door would not close.

Booked on line thru Trip Advisor using I-pad. No e-mail. Hotel had no record when we arrived but had a room available. Checked at desk today and they show check-in date of today. Wrong. I-pad confirms date was yesterday. Have to call credit card company as they cannot cancel now? The bathroom floor was nasty and in need of bleach. The toilet paper was partially unrolled. The handle on the sink was upside down and the water ran slowly and was not hot. Room 134. TA shows great reviews but we won't stay here again.

As soon as we arrived, Sandy welcome us with open arms. very friendly and sweet. She recommend some restaurants closed by, and gave us a 10 % off coupon to Buffalo Wild Wings. She had hot breakfast ready for everyone, with a smile. Room and place is very clean.

I'm a Best Western diamond elite member. One thing that stands out about this property, is they may not participate in the Best Western rewards program. They certainly did not recognize my status as a diamond member, and as such gave me the room with the smallest beds although a complimentary upgrade for diamond elites is customary at Best Western world wide. Now, perhaps they would cite my method of payment as an excuse. My method of payment is completely irrelevant, as my status was earned prior to my stay here, and is in no way contingent upon a specific form of payment going forward. This property simply shows that the repeat business is simply not appreciated, for whatever reason that may be. This property specifically, is not accommodating. I requested to check out but reserve the room for a second night in case the need arose. I informed I would know by 4pm if I would need the room or not. They said they could not reserve a room for me and if I wanted it I had to commit to it and pay it at that time, although it was only 6:30am. I elected to keep the room as my return was almost certain. And I did in fact return. Still, the unwillingness to be accommodating is the issue. They could be accommodating, they just don't want to be accommodating. Breakfast was average. It would have been fine, except I encountered 2 yogurts that were curdled. A definite minus here. Room was clean. The experience was fine. A decent place to sleep. Good, but by no means great. They are fine with that. They do absolutely nothing out of the way for guest satisfaction, although checkin was great. Keep your standards low and you will be happy. Plenty of restaurants and a very large grocery store within walking distance. Lots of pluses, they are all just off property.

Title says it all. A nice, fresh Best Western, close to the highway and in a shopping center with multiple fast food options. Cookies at the front desk during check-in were a big plus. Room was clean and comfortable. Can't really ask for more.

Room was clean, staff was pleasant, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. We did not use the pool. Would have preferred an indoor pool however it looked fine. Would stay again. It was a nice hotel for the money. One of the better Best Westerns we have stayed in lately.

Good place to stay with a nice location in the Ft Wayne area. The motel and the staff were great. We were coming back from a family event and wanted to eat at a specific restaurant in Ft Wayne and this hotel was in the right place. We almost always stay at BW and find them comfortable and homey.

Thank you for a comfortable stay during our conference; efficient work out room, comfortable room and internet, outdoor swimming pool was clean and easy to use. Morning breakfast had a variety of foods and drinks and was clean and adequate. Vending and ice machines available, in room microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, TV, internet, and desk were helpful additions to the extended stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

This hotel has always been our first choice when coming to Fort Wayne, IN. It did not disappoint. Nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Location is great with nearby restaurants and other businesses.

I stayed here for work. Staff was very nice. Hotel is always really clean. When I could make it to breakfast it was really good. Deb would offer me a grab and go bag though. It was nice to have on my way to work. I would recommend this place to anyone.

All the other hotels were sold out. We came and they had rooms left. We are so happy we stayed here. The service was amazing. Lobby is new. Rooms are a tad bit out dated but very clean. This is the new hotel we will stay at when we are in town.

Accommodations and staff were very, very good. The breakfast bar wasn't the best. But it was adequate and we have all been spoiled with some of the fancier, well attended bar. All in all I would recommend this Best Western Hotel In Indiana.

Jess is the best person ever behind the desk!!!! I asked for a pillow for later and she got me one on the spot! Nothing but great interactions with her, always nice, helpful and full of information. A person who really knows the ins and outs of her job. Way to go Jess!!

I was just passing through the area and decided to stop there last minute. After stopping at multiple hotels and being told they were sold out before I could even open my mouth to ask if they had a room, it was wonderful to walk into this hotel and be greeted with a simple " Hello, How can I help you?" Sandy at the front desk, not only was incredible polite and kind, but she got me into one of their only available rooms within minutes. The staff at breakfast were also very kind, and the room was nothing spectacular but very clean.

The hotel is clean, friendly staff and quite. The king bed I got was a little too hard for my taste. Had to have some package over deliverd to the hotel and they were excellent at accepting the packages and calling me to tell me they had arrived.

I have stayed at this hotel before which is why I came back. Friendly faces and great service. Clean establishment and well kept rooms, a nice fitness room as well. I will definitely keep coming back here when I have business in town.

Jessie, the woman at the front desk, was extremely helpful and friendly. My day had been mostly terrible till the point I called her. She went way above what she needed to. even with my bad mood and rude attitude she still was warm, friendly, kind and understanding.

The lady at the front Jessie was amazing she took the time to get to know my kids every morning at breakfast would ask them where we are going for the day and would give us tips for fun things to do when we would get back she would ask what we did and how much fun we had on our last morning my daughter didn't want to leave so Jessie took a card and wrote employee #1 on the card and out it on her chest while we were eating breakfast they did cleaning inspections and made my daughter's day over all a great experience and great time Jessie is the best employee y'all have

The staff here made sure I was comfortable and settled after I made it to my room. I let them know i was in town for a week and without asking I was told of nearby restaurants and what they had to offer. The room was spacious and very well kept.

Location is super / west of city about 8 miles but close to walkable restaurants, gas, 69 highway north-south!! About 8 miles north of airport with general stores to assist any need you might have while traveling!!

Hotel property is conveniently located near the interstate. This is also an affluent area of Fort Wayne. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. The breakfast that they serve has many options and is very good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, water pressure is good and temperature is just right. Beds and linen are clean and comfortable. I will definitely make a point to stay here again.

We were sent to this hotel after being told at the Holiday Inn near IPFW told us they did not have a room for us even though we had a reservation made 5 months prior. The staff at the Luxbury were very accommodating and friendly. Great stay. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean.

We originally booked this hotel for just Friday night, but shortly before we arrived, we decided we'd stay Saturday night as well if they had any rooms available. When I asked the lady at check-in, which was at 10:30 PM, if we could stay another night, she said she'd have to check and would call me in 20 minutes in my room. After waiting 45 minutes I called back since she never called, and she said it would be fine for us to stay, but the room price would be more. I asked her what the price would be, and she said she'd have to check and would call me back in 5 minutes. In the meantime, I went on their website to see if I could just book Saturday night online, and I could. The website price showed $129.99, which is what I paid for Friday night. After 15 minutes, the lady still had not called back, so I called her. She said she could not give me a price, but wanted me to know that it would be higher. I quickly told her that I had their website pulled up and the price was exactly what I had paid for the first night. After a pause, she said that I could just pay that amount and that she was very busy at that moment. Really? At almost midnight? Our room was clean. The lobby was not. There were smashed Goldfish crackers on the steps the entire weekend. The breakfast was mediocre. Sausage had a weird taste. If in Fort Wayne again, I would definitely look for a different hotel.

Front desk was extremely helpful and nice. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold foods. My only complaint is the blanket on the bed. It was quite thin. True, I could have asked for more covers, but I didn't. Easy access to 69 and a nice variety of restaurants and grocery within walking distance.

We stayed here during the Vera Bradley blowout sale and the staff was very helpful. They were offering coupons for restaurants and for the Vera sale. They were accommodating with directions, extra towels etc. The room was clean and while I personally prefer the bathroom to be all enclosed, I found it to be clean as well. The breakfast in the morning was great! I would stay there again.

I was here with my daughter for a basketball tournament. Check in was slow, as someone ahead of me had an issue with their reservation. Huh? Seems to be a recurring theme based on other reviews for this hotel? Room smelled clean, furniture seemed newer, and beds were comfortable. Sheets were worn, and towels were very thin, and some even had holes in them. Bathroom fixtures were older, and sink was hard to turn on. Shower pressure was not good at all. I have to go back next month for another tournament, and I don't feel compelled to stay here again. Most likely, I will look at other hotels in the area.

We stop here after the long drive from Las Vegas. We just pick it randomly and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The staff was great, the room was clean and had both a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best complimentary breakfasts we've had in a hotel. The coffee was good and we are picky about our coffee. Price was decent for a Friday without a reservation. We recommend this one.

Had to wait 15 minutes to check in because the reservation of the individuals ahead of us had an issue. The front desk clerk remained patient but it still took a while and no one else was there to assist. The room was clean and updated.

This hotel is one of the best for highway location, outstanding staff with friendly, professional, can't do enough for you help. I travelled 2000 miles, heading for Ontario Canada, and upon arrival, I was treated like family. The manager, Anthony, found a massage spa for me because I was so.o sore. They offer FREE long distance calling, helped me move things from my room , because of my physical limitations, and everyone made me feel like family . The rooms were very clean, bright and reasonable. It is a place to stay and to feel like home.

This is a very good hotel right off the interstate and next to an abundance of restaurants, service stations and a Wells Fargo bank. Staff are warm, welcoming and eager to be of assistance. I'd also recommend the nearby Applebee's restaurant.

The only reasons I can't rate this higher has nothing to do with the customer service. Everyone I came into contact with was wonderful, even at check-in, Anthony was very friendly & all smiles, I even forgot my toothbrush & toothpaste & had to re-visit him later, the front desk area was wonderful, the free breakfast was perfect! However, my shower was cold & when I turned the water on a dark brown, blah, came out before the water would start running clear. I didn't say something until the second night I stayed & Staci was more than willing to move me to a new room, like I said, great customer service! There was just nasty corners everywhere, dark gunk, my furnace had a loud bang that would scare me in the middle of the night, I had a stain on my sheets that made me feel like maybe it wasn't a stain, but something left over from the last person. And although they put us in an Executive Suite, the only thing executive was the bed size & room size...desk was small, shower was horrible, nothing special. But customer service & location was wonderful!

This motel is very accmodating and close to shopping and some of the factories. The staff was very helpful and reconising the rewards member of the Best Western rewards program.The motel has a full breakfast , and will be a great place to stay in the Fort Wayne area.

The desk attendant was very pleasant. She made a point of going over details, such as the free breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. I don't recall any noise that was annoying or interrupted my sleep. I do have one complaint and/or request. The washcloths and towels were rough, coarse, and uncomfortable to use. We were in Fort Wayne for a tennis tournament and enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was good, housekeeping very good, beds comfortable and common areas well kept. However what made the place stand out was the friendly and very helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Anthony and Terrence both offered assistance and advice when needed and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Fort Wayne. It has been a while since I felt the staff at a hotel was genuinely interested in making my stay enjoyable. Thanks.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help make this a great place to stay. The evening desk was managed by Anthony. He was outgoing and made suggestions of places to eat. When I mentioned that the beds were very high (I'm 5 feet tall), he provided a stool to make getting into bed easier for me. He called the restaurant where our group planned to eat and arranged for them to have a large table ready for us. The front office manager, Shanda printed off maps with detailed directions to the places we needed to go. I would highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best 'Best Westerns' we have visited. Excellent fitness centre, breakfast, and attentive staff. Most important, this was Pet Friendly - with lots of grassy areas in shopping/business park nearby as a bonus.

The vast majority of major hotel chains have bathrooms that are wide enough to get a wheelchair into so I don't always reserve a special room as it is often a hassle and not listed on TripAdisor so a call is required. These rooms are not that way and bathroom door is very narrow. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was average. Room was clean and quiet. They did move us to first floor so public restroom would be closer. Will know to call and not use Tripadvisor next time.

We had a wonderful stay starting with the Front Desk. The young man was very professional and had a very caring attitude and it started off our stay in such a great way. Our accommodations as always were great and we will continue to stop here every time we pass thru Fort Wayne on our way home from Arizona.

She handled all our requests and questions in an exceptional and courteous manner. She was witty, upbeat and very responsive to our requests. She genuinely cares for you as a customer and went out of her way several times to ensure we had a one of a kind stay at your hotel. Dominique's attention to detail and compassion for our exhausted parents and daughter was evident by all her efforts to "make things perfect". Also, I could not sleep that night and so I went to the lobby to read. She came over to ensure I was alright, sat with me and chatted about what I was reading and then excused herself to complete her other duties and responsibilities. Dominique then continued to check on me periodically for the next 2 hours that I was in the lobby. Employees as wonderful as Dominique come along very few times in a manager or director's career. Hang on to her, praise her and remember to thank her for all she does. She is a genuine asset to your company. Anthony was also a wonderful person to interact with. I had left my pillow in the room and he called me personally and offered to mail it to us so we wouldn't have to stop in again and interrupt our day. When I arrived to pick it up it was fluffed up and handed to me with a smile and a wish that we all had a great day. Such a warm and friendly staff you have here at this hotel. We were very satisfied and will return frequently to stay after all my daughter's collegiant track events!

I travel frequently for business and I believe that this is the best hotel that I have found in my travels for the value. I would highly recommend the Best Western Luxbury! Great owners and great employees. They go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. Great location - good restaurants very close. Easy on and off from hotel.

Snow was falling on the roadways and it looked like we needed to stop on our way home from a week-end trip. We registered for a hotel room (on hotels.com) but when we arrived, the desk did not have a record of our reservation! Mr. Terrance Woods was at the desk and agreed to work out a room for us even though the reservation had not come through (after we had received confirmation an hour or so earlier!) Our room was great, we got settled.....and then he worked with the .com group when that reservation FINALLY came through. A cozy room during the snow and a good breakfast before we headed on our way Monday morning.

My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend and we are so glad we chose this place! Terrance was so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommended staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great mini vacation!

We had a great night on Super Bowl Sunday. Anthony did a very good job making us feel welcome at the Best Western. I would stay again. The large TV in the room and channel selection cover everything we want to watch.

Great rooms! Always clean! Anthony has been awesome! He through a super bowl party for us last weekend. I have been staying here a lot and that's a first! Would be nice if there was a lounge for us to hang out at with pool tables and games! Over all very satisfied with my stay! Good breakfast! I stay here a lot. They have a pool. It has been remodeled and is very nice place to stay. We were welcomed at the front desk by Anthony and he went above and beyond to make sure we were satified with our stay. It was Supper Bowl Sunday and they served pizza and cookies. I would stay again. Anothony was a very upbeat person and had a great smile to great you. I would stay again. The room was excellant and clean.

Pleasant one night stay at Best Western in Fort Wayne -- clean room with comfortable king size bed, friendly staff who was very welcoming. Toilet seat was broken, but reported with promise of repair. Breakfast was much better than other hotels offer Biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereals waffles etc.. good variety of items to eat.

My wife and I stayed for one night on our way south to visit family. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom could use some updating. The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone could not have been friendlier, more helpful or more professional. We both travel quite a bit for work and have stayed at a wide variety of lodgings. I have never encountered a team that was this friendly and worked so hard to make us feel valued and at home. Terrence gave us a great recommendation for dinner (Tavern at Coventry). Very impressed.

I've stayed at several different Best Western hotels and this is the best so far. Great spacious rooms, ful of extras like exercise room, laundry room and business room. Also several restaurants within walking distance. And great staff.

My experience at BW in Fort Wayne has been great. I have been staying there every time that I go through FW for the past 4 years. Dev, his wife, and Terrance have always been polite and helpful. Great to be around. The entrance has just been remodeled and looks great. The rooms are always clean and well kept. I would never be afraid to recommend this hotel to anyone when you are traveling through Fort Wayne.

Such courteous service especially from Terrence at the front desk. Stayed here while husband was in Lutheran Hospital and after a long day with him it was so convenient to not have an hour's drive home in bad weather. Quiet comfortable and so convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area Close to restaurants grocery stores and drug stores. Everything so handy and the hospital is right across the highway. First off, it was football playoff Sunday and Terrance who was working at the front desk was super friendly. He small talked with us about football and the hotel was broadcasting the game in the lobby along with offering popcorn. I thought that was really neat. As my husband and I settled in our room, we had everything we needed and the room was clean. My only concern was the thin walls and the very noisy neighbors. I'm sure if we would have been overly bothered by that, Terrance would have taken care of it. I also wanted an extra blanket for the bed and Terrance was happy to provide. We will definitely be staying here again!

We were in town five nights for a funeral, and found this location to be convenient for our needs, as well as close to shopping, restaurants, and the Lutheran Medical complex. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious, but the bed was too firm for my liking, so I was glad there was a recliner for my occasional use. Breakfast consisted of eggs, meat, waffles, breads, and cereals, and in the evenings cookies and popcorn were usually available. The best part of our stay was meeting the incredible staff; all exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the front desk host, Terrence Woods. It was nice to have such a sincere welcome and top-notch service each day.

Large comfortable room. Good breakfast. The staff are SO friendly. Terrance checked on us during breakfast to make sure everything was as desired. The quality of service is better than some much more expensive hotels.

the staff at this hotel are wonderful. The hot breakfast buffet and the fact that they advertise free snacks in the afternoon was not. We waiting forever for refills which made us late, so we didn't get to finish breakfast. The "popcorn, cookies, lemonade, and tea" was not true. They only served popcorn only and it tasted old.

The personnel at this hotel were outstanding in every way. The manager personally attended to us every day, as well as the desk staff. We became friends with these people by the time we left. There was nothing they couldn't do for us.

I stayed four nights and found the Best Western staff to be friendly and welcoming. The room itself was average as to cleanliness with some wear evident but nicely appointed. There was water damage to a shower wall that was most evident but did not deter my stay. The low flow shower head was distracting. The breakfast was most generous and well presented.

Excellent choice for us. Check in was easy and accommodation made for our truck and travel trailer to be parked close to the entry way...nice as the weather was not very nice! Terrance checked us in and was extremely helpful, even pointing us in the right direction for a great meal (and cold IPA) at a local pub within easy walking distance. We will stay here again on our travels through the area.

Everything was quite nice about this hotel as a one-night stop on our journey, but what impressed us most was Nikki Kaur, front office supervisor. This has been a non-smoking hotel for several years, and when we entered our room it was clear someone had been smoking in there. We mentioned it at the desk, mostly so they wouldn't think it was us and charge us a cleaning fee, and right away Nikki apologized and not only changed our room right away, she gave us a complimentary upgrade as they had a suite available. We were very impressed with this level of customer service, as we have stayed in other hotels that have a smokey smell, and all we got was a cursory apology.

Just that - comfortable, convenient locale, very good breakfast, left juice machine on at night. Lots of pillows although they were not that comfy for me. The bed was comfortable. Nice business area off lobby.

This stay was using points from another stay that went terribly wrong. This hotel was very clean with a very clean lobby and caring staff. We had a flawless check-in and no problems with our stay. We did not use the breakfast but it smelled wonderful.

First, desk clerk Terrance was outstanding: engaged; proactive; friendly without smothering; responsive; fast and efficient; he is dedicated to his job. I would give him 10/10. The hotel room was very comfortable and looked and smelled good. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The pillows are a effective mix of soft and firm. However, they are a bit overstuffed for my neck. I looked for and found NO bugs. The breakfast was a notch above most breakfasts I have had at hotels. The juice machines were on at night, too! Lobby looked inviting and comfortable. Business room computers were fast.

The best part of my stay here was the staff. Everyone was very pleasant, and Terrance was especially helpful. Although the room I was first given a key to wasn't ready, when I went back to the desk, Terrance immediately got me another room and checked to see that it was up to snuff. He advised checking online about a recall when my car key broke (my second one broken), and I found that it was a common problem with this key. He helped me out with my luggage when I left. Couldn't ask for better attention. One thing that would improve the motel is thicker walls or better sound-proofing. I did not enjoy being awakened by the television used as an alarm clock in the adjoining room--at 4:30 A.M. Would I come back again? Absolutely.

i am here more than i am at my house. i haven't found a better place to stay in ft wayne. the staff is very pleasant and niki takes care of me even when i forget reservations. like i said, this is my home away from home.

A great variety of restaurants close by from fast food to a nice sit down dinner.This was our third time here and will definitely stay here again!

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, people where helpful. The main lobby area was quite nice and trendy. The breakfast area was roomy, comfortable, and full of options including: fruits, bread, waffle maker, juice, coffee, and cereals. There was a good sized fridge and microwave in the room.

Presentation of breakfast = A+, taste = F Looks like they poured all their money into the lobby and forgot everything else. The pillows on the bed were maybe 2ft by 2ft. Like sofa cushions and very uncomfortable. The rooms need updating so badly I don't know where to start... from the bathrooms to the rock hard bed, to the wall unit A/C. TVs were new. IF you like TV and fancy lobbies, stay here. If anything else matters, go somewhere else.

Great location, close to airport (only one exit away), restaurants (Outback, Applebee's, and other local ones), movie theater, and grocery store (this Kroger store is huge). Compared to the hotel next door, this hotel is much cleaner and staff are friendlier.

Since this hotel is not as visible from the highway as others, we stopped at another first and found that all neighboring hotels were full except this one. We were so glad! From the minute we entered the building late in the evening, our host on duty "Terrance" made us feel welcome, even though he was juggling another customer plus a phone call. He handled all three efficiently and with a smile on his face. I can't count how many times during our visit he asked if there was anything we needed. He was just as energetic and helpful the next morning and seemed to really enjoy his work. (My husband even commented that he would hire this guy in a minute to work for him!) The breakfast staff was great too. The common areas are lovely and appear to be recently remodeled. The rooms have not been updated in awhile but were fine. We will be back!

This is an excellent hotel/motel. Probably one of the best in the Best Western "fleet". You get exactly what you pay for and more. Very pet friendly which is greatly appreciated. I stay here twice a year when I travel to Canada and on my way back to California. I have never been disappointed with the service.

The hotel has made such massive improvements. It is quite beautiful and inviting. The breakfast room is comfortable. You can enjoy a nice breakfast while watching the news. Relaxing. I have stayed at this hotel for many years when I come to Ft Wayne and I am just amazed at how beautiful it looks. My room was comfortable and quiet. The service was wonderful. The Front Desk Staff was efficient. They had my reservation and it took only minutes to check in.

Wonderful facility, I believe they were newly remodel. Front desk staff is awesome (Nikki's the best). Had a little trouble with tv cable network in the beginning but that was resolved. The place is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great hotel recommend it to all.

Nikki is the best front desk person to deal. I have been staying at this location for almost a year now. I stay 2 nights a week for my work trip every week. The rooms are nice and very clean. They offer a variety of choices at breakfast. Great location with a lot of restaurants in the surrounding plaza. Definitely worth checking out. John H.

After a long drive, we landed in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We lucked out with Terrance at the counter at the BW. He did the paperwork while we gathered our luggage, gave us a great room at a great price, coupons for local restaurants, and checked in after we were settled to make sure we were alright. Unbeknownst to us, we had left one bag out by our vehicle. BW employees found it, by its location thought it was ours, and called us to let us know...we're very grateful--it would've been a terrible loss. We tried to tip Terrance--he wouldn't accept it--our satisfaction with the hotel/service was enough! TTerrance

My room was quiet and comfortable; the hotel is fairly new and is very clean. The location is very convenient - walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The traffic pattern getting to I-69/Jefferson Blvd is a bit tricky, but it is quite close. If the rate is competitive, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

From the moment we entered, our stay was perfect. The room was more than we expected, as we used our points to pay. The desk was very friendly, and the room sparkling clean. Will definitely stay again, if in the area.
