Best Western Plus Fort Stockton Hotel, Fort Stockton

This is our second stay in this excellent hotel. On our way to Tucson from Houston, we discovered the Best Western on our first trip two years ago… Fort Stockton is almost exactly located halfway between Houston and Tucson. This is an exceptional hotel. All the rooms and common areas are spotless. They offer a free breakfast and a free light dinner. They enthusiastically welcome guests traveling with dogs… some of the areas in the hotel are marking with street signs with canine breed names. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable… I have not noted a single deficiency, thus the 5 stars. When traveling on I-10 this is a great place to relax .

Driving a 26' Moving truck may not be a big deal but it's no fun looking for a decent place to park when you need to stop for the night. BW of Stockton had a paved and marked parking lot next door large enough for several moving vans and hauling big rigs. Nice bar in the lobby and the room I got was luxuries for what I felt was a very reasonable and cost efficient price. Breakfast was good but the best part was my Texas waffle! I will certainly stay here again in the future

One of the nicest and well managed hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly and treated me and my wife like we were Royalty. Every single person at the hotel was extremely nice and friendly. It was a pleasure to stay there. The food served was excellent. Coffee was everywhere, including the lobby area. Also water and ice. Such amazing friendly service with amazing rooms and clean environment. Thank you

This is a great hotel. Super friendly staff and really clean property. Have only stayed at this location in ft stockton so hard to compare to other hotels but would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a room for a night.

One of the best hotels between El Paso and San Antonio. Great stop place and location for our trip to Arizona and back to Houston area. Breakfast was great. Loved the variety. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the only hotel that I am aware serving complimentary light dinner and nachos every night. The selection of food and drinks for breakfast are many and good quality. Also, it is a pet friendly hotel

Everything was great. Very pet friendly. Appreciated the bar after a long day. Cannot think of any negative comments. Breakfast was better than most mid price hotels Nice grassy area for our dogs I hate these minimal text requirements

An easy check in and very reasonably priced. Our room was very nice and the staff were all very friendly. Really enjoyed the evening supper and breakfast in the morning. Our bed was really comfortable as was the room and everything was clean. We were very impressed with the hospitality of this hotel.

We had truck troubles on our road-trip about 25 miles out & needed to find a repair shop. Pulled into the Best Western pulling a big boat & were pleased that they had ample parking. Manager was very accommodating. Reception staff were friendly. Room was very clean & well appointed. Breakfast & light supper were offered each day with lots of delicious choices. Indoor pool & hot tub were enjoyed while we hung out for two days waiting for truck repairs. We highly recommend staying here. This trip we've been through 12 states & this was our favorite stay even under the stressful situation of vehicle issues!! We would highly recommend a stay here.

We checked in late last night and woke up this morning and saw the sheet with stains and seems like the housekeeper didnt changed the sheet. This will be the last time we're staying in this hotel. The cost is pricey and the cleanliness is a 1 star only. Maybe the reason the sheets was not changed bec elevator is not working. Always check the sheets when you check in the room!

Dear Mr. Green. I am sorry the sheets on the bed had a stain. As per my email to you 2 days ago, I said I was out of state taking care of my mom. I did talk to the housekeeping supervisor and she said she will look into it. I just got back to town and followed up on the issue. She does not know how the housekeeper did not notice the stain on the bed. I am sorry, I do not have an answer for you, but we did address it with the staff responsible to clean the room that day. Pet friendly & designed with pets in mind. Decorated with a pet motif & no carpet for easy cleaning if your pet has an accident. Very spacious. Love the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, & body soap. It's a citrus scent so very mild & the lotion was amazing on my dry hands. Mini fridge, microwave, & large TV with some cable. Heard some dogs barking a little bit but didn't disturb us at all.

Clean rooms, complimentary dinner and breakfast,friendly staff and very accommodating. Our rooms were on I-10 side and the AC squeaked so a bit noisy at night. Ask for a room on the back side of the hotel. Nice bar area with good breakfast selection.

We had plans in place for a different hotel chain, but changed to Best Western at the last minute. Glad we did. Excellent place to stay at this Fort Stockton location. Highly recommend it. Pet friendly, good food, and comfortable rooms. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here twice and absolutely love it! The employees are all friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and updated, as are the bathrooms. We especially like the walk-in showers. They have a managers special in the evenings which include a snack (nachos) and a light dinner (we had Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and fajitas for our two stays). They also have a full bar if you want to purchase a cocktail or cold beer. Such a nice surprise! Note—ice machines are on the first and third floors only. We stay at Best Westerns often, and this is by far the nicest!

From checking in to checking out this place was amazing! We received a cookie when we checked in and then were told there was a light dinner being served til 7:00. We had been driving all day so it was awesome not to have to find some place to eat too. We had yummy enchiladas and nachos. Then, the next morning breakfast was delicious. Everything was hot, room was clean and well kept. Room was great with a kitchenette. The shower was probably the nicest shower I have ever seen in a hotel-huge with a great glass door that felt substantial. Everything about our stay was awesome. We will be staying here again!!! Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

It isn't fancy but it was clean. They offer free breakfast and dinner. While we didn't try either, ot smelled good and I appreciate it was included. Although we could hear the,people in the room next door when we were in the hallway, we didn't hear them at all when we were in our room which was great. Would definitely stay again, especially at the prices we paid.

Best Western Plus – Fort Stockton We stayed one night in room 226. The room has a standard layout with a king bed, refrigerator, Keurig, TV and desk. WiFi is fairly fast and free, although we did not stream anything. The bath has a walk-in shower with 3 grab bars and a wide door. The one negative about the room is that it faces the I-10 freeway – it is not overly noisy, but the muted traffic is noticeable. You might want to ask for a room facing south. Check-in was fast and friendly. There is a small restaurant by the lobby with a small full bar (didn't use it, so can not comment). The parking lot is large & free.

This property seems like it is fairly new and currently being well cared for. There were some unique touches that one does not usually seen in a corporate run hotel. Our roll in shower had a fun shower curtain that seemed to be focused on the upcoming season. We even had a picture of a posh cat who wore a blue wig and lots of bling. The staff here were all well trained and able to offer excellent customer service. We require a roll-in shower which is often not available when we travel. Not the case at this location, all we needed to do was ask and we were provided.

Nice hotel. Great for those traveling with a dog, extra $20 fee, but totally worth it. Clean room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Snack bar. Drink bar. Coffee always available. Good parking.

We made a random stop and didn't expect much since it wasn't planned. It exceeded our expectations. We ended up work the suite since no more rooms where available. It had everything we needed and more.

When we checked in after driving 10 hrs, they told us that they were serving hamburgers in the bar. No charge. We were thrilled and they were really good! Super pet friendly and the staff wad very attentive and friendly.

Stopped the night after a long 560-mile day. Hotel was very nice and modern. Room was excellent with a nice kitchen. Hotel very clean and comfortable. One thing though, now that I'm reading the comments below. I don't recall at check in any mention of comp dinner. We got in about 6pm and were very hungry. Our room was on the end of the hotel so we parked there and left thru the side entrance. Not going thru the lobby or we would have seen the bar/restaurant. A shame becasue there are no restaurants around really, we ended up getting chicken wings at the Pilot Service Center (very good!) and a bottle of wine at Apache Liquor!! lol

Though we do not advertise it, we started this during the peak of COVID. Many of our guests would travel approximately 500 miles and find all the food establishments closed. It was specially hard with small children who had to sleep hungry. So, we started this to help our guests out. We use to keep it open till 9:30 pm now we just do it till 7:00 pm. We stayed here on our way to New Mexico from Austin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fun bar. The breakfast was very good. We were even served hot dogs for dinner! The room was clean and comfortable. We will be back!

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. My sister and I tried to book two rooms and she has a service dog (we have all our papers for the dog) and they absolutely were the rudest!! We never even got the chance to stay here, we booked rooms and everything. But then they had the audacity to call and grill my sister about all of her medical history. What the dog was for, if she has seizures, etc, etc. like EXCUSE ME, isn't that a HIPPA violation, or am I mistaken. You do not have the right to ask me personal questions. You can ask to see my dogs papers. Which we were going to gladly show because we understand that. But are you kidding me. Then I told them I wanted to see their policy and procedures manual where it states that they have the right to ask me those questions and if all of their hotels are like this. What a piece of crap company.

Dear Ms. Madison, I am sorry we disappointed you. We do not ask you any questions about your any medical condition, or an ID for service animal or a doctors note. We just ask 2 questions we are allowed to ask per ADA title III regarding service animals. We never had any guests that need service animal have any objections in answering the questions. We never charged for a service animal, but in order to be fair to the guests who are paying a small amount of $20.00 for their pet, we need to make sure it is a service animal and not a pet. We pay special attention in cleaning rooms that has been occupied by a pet or a service animal. It takes 2 housekeeping staff plus special cleaning products to clean these rooms and to maintain them safe, odor free, tick and flee free. And that is the only reason we charge a small pet fee of $20.00. We do not charge a fee for service animals Again, I am sorry if the staff asked you these questions. They just followed the instructions. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Sincerely,

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and breakfast was great! We especially were impressed when we checked in that in the lounge hamburgers or spicy chicken sandwiches w/fries were being served. You could also have nachos if you'd like. After a long day of driving, not having to drive and get something to eat was a real PLUS. A BW Western PLUS!!

This is an older motel but the room was generously large and very clean. The bed and bedding was very nice, it had a large screen TV, and attractive tile or laminate flooring throughout. The hosts at the check-in counter were very pleasant and the free breakfast was excellent with a large variety of hot and cold breakfast foods.

The check in desk was easy and helpful. The staff were all very courteous and friendly. The pool area is nice and is stocked with pool towels. The breakfast was excellent everything was yummy. The lounge area offers a nice little room to gather with a bar. You can sit here with family and relax or socialize with other guests. We stopped in Fort Stockton to sleep and rest and continue our road trip. We stayed in three different Nest Westerns, the Fort Stockton was by far the best of all.

From pet welcome gift to dog park to treat stations - this place is perfect for owners with pets. Yes the town isn't much and the internet is a bit spotty but this hotel deserves top marks. Breakfast was great, room was clean and fresh, and they even had an evening complimentary dinner (not sure if that's a regular thing but it's great for this small town and trying to go find dinner when you have a pet)

There's not many options in the area, but I do have to say that I was very impressed with the hotel and management here. The hotel itself is very clean and goes above and beyond as far as guest services. The GM there really cares about customer service and improvement. If you're in the area for work or just passing through for the night, this is where you'll want to stay.

Located right off I10 westbound this place is located in a fairly non-descript area with nothing much around it other than a couple of other motels and a petrol station. They offer a complementary dinner which was a pretty low grade burger and cold fries but there's very little else in the vicinity. Likewise breakfast was pretty basic but enough to keep you going until brunch! The indoor swimming pool was rather sad looking and uninviting so we gave it a miss. Room in general felt a little tired.

Nice hotel to stop at on our way to San Antonio. We actually stayed here twice, on our way in and on our way out of Texas. They gave us free nachos at the bar, cookies and popcorn at the desk. Clean, comfy bed, large TV and hot jacuzzi, which is exactly what we needed coming in between 8-10 at night. I would stay here again.

Over solid value. Family of 4. Two queens. Breakfast fine. Beds great. Climate control worked well. Courteous staff at check and breakfast. Gym was super nice and spacious for all four of us to work out. Bathroom sink drained slow. Would stay again.

I made a reservation online but my GPS could not find the place. It took me all over town 3 times before I gave up and asked a local for directions. There was not enough parking but I finally squeezed in. My room was not clean by my

While traveling to Carlsbad caverns withb4 grands, we stopped in Fort stockton for our first night. The rooms were great, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant had a free dinner also, which helped with the budget.

This is a very nice hotel. It has a lounge with a bar. Indoor pool & hot tub. Which I did not get to use. To many people already in it. Breakfast was very good, except for the sausage gravy, to watery. But I do recommend this hotel.

Good first day stop heading west out of Houston. Equally good last night on trip, heading back home to Houston! Lounge & tacos for supper (or easy in town restaurants). Breakfast well set up and delicious. Dog friendly!

Front desk and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great and the lady working in the breakfast area was really nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Every nigth offered a manager's special in the bar area. Will stay again on our next visit. Very convenient and would recommend.

Excellent stay and service every time we stay in Stockton Tx. Sometimes with a small dog, always a pleasant experience. We travel back and forth to Tx and AZ. And plan many more between these two states with family visits.

We were on a road trip and heading home from AZ. We had our dog with us so we needed a dog-friendly hotel. I booked the BW because it had two dog runs, which were great! The hotel itself was very clean and our room was large. I didn't use the indoor pool but the area looked very nice. The complimentary dinner was a surprise, it wasn't gourmet but after an 8 hour drive, it was perfect. Plus there was a full bar. The complimentary breakfast was good, it was typical of hotels offering this type of breakfast and there were many choices (eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, etc) The coffee was great.

My itinerary changed at the last minute and I needed a hotel in Fort Stockton, TX. I chose Best Western for three reasons: I had stayed in Best Westerns in other states and had generally had good experiences, this one had the best ranking of the Fort Stockton hotels, and it was conveniently located off I-10. My comments: 1. Personal, friendly service - I was provided an upgraded room, and the front desk called to make sure I was happy with it. All staff serving an evening "snack" and breakfast were helpful and considerate. 2. The room was neat and clean, and had plenty of amenities. 3. An evening "snack" was served - chicken tenders with a choice of toppings, and a salad. This is a change from my prior travel and I've been surprised to find it on the road this year. I'm guessing that it has been added to bring back customers after COVID in some areas, and to meet competition (I've learned that other hotel chains are now doing this). 4. Breakfast was outstanding. Hot choices and plenty of other items. The full breakfast is back and I'm glad to see it. 5. The bed was comfortable. 6. The price was reasonable. 7. Evening cookies were provided and free snacks were available for guests. I highly recommend this hotel in Fort Stockton.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is super clean, people can bring their pets (and it's still super clean!), and it has everything you could possibly need! I would definitely stay there again (and look forward to it!)!

We enjoyed our stay at this nice clean property. Room was perfect! Breakfast was great! Remember to tip the attendant..he was keeping everything stocked and fresh! Staff were friendly! We would stay here again!!!

We walked in to the lobby and immediately smelled popcorn. As soon as we checked in got some freshly popped popcorn. The staff were all efficient and we were in our very clean room in no time. The front desk staff informed us that there would be nachos, enchiladas, retried beans and rice served 5-7pm. And there's even a bar! This Best Western looked brand new but the manager told us when we were checking out that it was 7 years old. Very well maintained and breakfast was very good too. Highly recommend this motel.

Room was quiet despite being right next to highway - we slept soundly. At milk we were very pleased to find that they offered 4 types of milk instead of the usual not-so-heart-healthy combo of 2 percent and "whole"; both skim and almond milk were there! Not a reason to visit Ft. Stockton, but if you happen to be driving along I-10 and need a place to stay, it's a good choice.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem!!! The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really tasty and they even had a fenced area for my dogs to play!

I have passed this property many times on my West to East travels. My first stay here and I will be back ! The hotel is very quiet at night. Rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. I have my dog with me during my travels and this hotel is very dog friendly. Two dog runs allow my buddy to stretch his legs and the room we were in was dog friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel even if you do not have a dog with you. It is that nice !!!

Very nice and helpful stuff. The room is clean. We asked baby crib and microwave in the room, and they provided before checking in. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for the place to stay

I chose this hotel because it has an indoor heated pool. It was open until midnight. I would kindly suggest that they ask children to vacate the pool after 10pm. This seems like a reasonable time for children to leave the adults some quiet time to enjoy the facilities before bed. It would have been a glorious experience if it weren't for absolutely riotous screaming children who were not controlled by their patents at all in the pool the entire time I tried to enjoy it. I am all for sharing and want kids to enjoy the pool, but please leave us some time without screaming children, too. When we arrived, we were given cookies and popcorn, and found out that they had Lasagna for dinner! Dinner! This is a delightful extra, as Ft. Stockton does not have great restaurants, and we had been delayed at lunch for an extra hour due to the hospitality crisis of staff shortages everywhere. This hotel serves a simple dinner some evenings and we actually made it in just in time to have the last serving, and they even waited for us to get in there to eat! And then, much to my surprise, the dining room has a bar! I was even able to order some whisky, which was great as it was St. Patrick's day! Then of course this becomes the breakfast room in the morning! The rooms are lovely, the water pressure is good and the staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

We forgot our coats at the hotel and the manager shipped it back to us through mail. The hotel breakfast is also very good and they provide a full hot breakfast. The room is also very roomy for our family of four and our puppy.

The staff were great friendly and knowledgeable.Rooms clean and very comfortable. Coffee available all day and night. Great place to stay. The only thing I found wrong was ice machine on first floor didn't work.

Location – stop over hotel Hotel – new hotel within last 2 years - restaurant bar on site front desk person did not recognize Platinum Elite Mbr ? room rate includes free dinner – attendant did not mention this ? we had requested a room on the ground floor but were told all of these rooms were for people with pets ! Room – little storage space, small vanity in washroom, 1 small ring towel rack Light switches for things that we did not know what they controlled ? Only 1 chair provided for seating – others will have to sit on bed Luggage area for 1 suitcase only - 2nd relegated to the floor ! Internet – below average – 10 mbps down, 2 mbps up Breakfast – above average, fruit, eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc Other : hotel provided a free dinner consisting of chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese – all served cold ! Summary : improve internet speed Install outlets for USB charging better training of front desk staff For dinner – serve hot food hot ! Will not stay here again...

We stop in Fort Stockton as the halfway point between Tucson, AZ and Houston, TX. This is one of the best hotels in town with the most meal/food offerings. Great staff and good service over the entire stay. Pricing is very competitive with comparable hotels.

Have had much better AND much worse accommodations. Room had only shower and no bathtub not listed in search. Rooms with Bathtub were not available according to staff but I was in lobby when one was given to someone checking in. They did not have a reservation for that room because the check-in staff had to explain that it had double king beds and "would that be alright?" We had a room reservation for 4 days.

First time at this property and quite surprised!! We arrived at 8:30pm and from the moment I entered I could tell that I made the right choice! The lobby was bright, clean, and welcoming. Check-in a breeze, I was exhausted driving from Phx to Ft. Stockton - the check-in agent needed my license plate number - Sensing I was tired he offered to go out and write it down since I couldn't remember it!! It was a small thing but I truly appreciated it. The room was clean the bed very comfortable. This is a pet friendly hotel - the cleanliness of rooms showed no odors or damage from previous pets. After a good night's rest, we we t to breakfast. The eggs were fresh and not runny. The potatoes cooked perfectly & were also fresh - no burnt or overcooked spuds here! Safety taken into account with bread items individually wrapped as well as utensils. Good assortment of juices, and the option for waffles. For the price this was totally worth every penny and would recommend this property to any traveling with pets. Wonderful experience.

Traveling east to west coast. This is a safe, clean, comfortable option for overnight accommodations . Ample parking and fwy close. Reasonable prices, allows pets, breakfast included. Buffet workable options for most. I would stay again.

No complaints, great room, staff, and breakfast tacos! Easy on, easy off… quick check-in, found me a room at 2am. I've come to the coextensive all of my best western stays to be great and they are. A+

Excellent cleanliness, great service and wonderful dog run for our two frenchies. Breakfast was great and evening food was good as well. Room was a good size for mom, dad and two pets. Staff was super supportive and helpful!

Our stay was so comfortable with great value we deciided to stay an extra night. Amenities and the comp evening meal were a pleasant surprise. We felt like we were at a mini resort. Well trained friendly staff.

This was a great stay. We've never been to Texas and this was a completely new area on our road trip. We went in with low expectations and were thoroughly surprised. The room was pretty roomy and very clean. Checking in and out were a breeze. It was a good location and just a great overnight stay.

This location should be the model for so many others. The hospitality as well as the amenities makes your stay so comfortable. Easy access location along with plenty of parking definitely didn't hurt either...

Arrived a few minutes after midnight and Best Western App would not accept the reservation for the day, showed the front desk clerk and she graciously accepted the rate without hesitation, very freindly and acknowledged Best Western Reward status - which doesn't always happen. Hotel is newer, very clean, modern, quiet, good breakfast and easy access of I-10.

I travel a lot and cross through west Texas regularly. I stop here whenever I can because each time I am impressed by the staff and service. The rooms are large and have anything you could ask for; it is clean and the furniture is in good condition. I always sleep well here. The breakfast/dinner options are excellent and the staff who help serve the food are great. Easily my favorite well-priced hotel in west Texas.

One night stay during road trip. Right off Interstate 10 with easy access to hotel. I checked-in online the night before so seamless and quick at the front desk. The front desk even called later to see that everything was ok with the room and if we needed anything. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower could really use a makeover/deep clean. Other than the grungy shower we had a very good nights rest.

After driving all day and making the reservation from the road, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked it to find that the hotel provides an evening meal daily! Very nice people, good food (also breakfast() and the room was wonderful

I forgot to book rooms for the two of us, we pulled in mid afternoon and the staff got us adjoining rooms and were very gracious hosts. The lobby area was welcoming, very nice decor. Our rooms were spotlessly cleaned and nicely appointed and clean. Comfy beds and no noise from outside whatsoever.

We stayed for couple of nights and Elevator is not working. They started cleaning room after we check-in there at the hotel and asked us to wait for 15-20mins, due to short staffed. Bed sheets were not clean, bathroom sink is not working. We reserved two queen beds but they gave us two double beds and when we ask them, they said that is queen size they have. Staff were friendly, pool was awesome, lobby was great.

Due to COVID and the back order on parts, the elevator company is unable to fix. But we did provide help with luggage for the guests who requested. I can see why this hotel was always full when we went through Fort Stockton. Actually reserved ahead of time for this trip. Dog-friendly (although our dogs are trained not to go on carpet, so the dog park did not work). However, plenty of local area to walk dogs. Good breakfast, friendly staff, wood and tile floors in the rooms. Clean, comfortable beds.

Excellent place to stay! We were passing through for one night and had a great experience. The front desk staff was so kind. The hotel's elevator was down so they had called the day before to make sure we would be accommodated. They offered to help us with our luggage multiple times. Their fitness center was very clean, along with our room. Their hot breakfast was also great. Definitely recommend!

Well cared for property. Clean inside and out. Wouldn't know it allowed pets unless you saw one (no doggy smells!). Well lit parking lot. No road noise. Down the street from good truck/car stop. ......

Easy checkin experience. Nice evening meal offered in the bar/cafe. Decent breakfast. Awesome dog walk/relief area. Parking is large and well lit. Suggest the back side rooms to avoid the interstate traffic (seek odd numbered rooms). Staff is friendly. Room is clean and bed comfortable. Very pet friendly.

The place was clean in August AND just as clean this December! The staff is excellent and friendly. The elevator did not work this time. However, a staff member carried our luggage to our room! Our breakfast was prepared just like we wanted it. The only problem with breakfast was, it wasn't on china plates, but we can live with that.

Check in was easily done and assigned room on second floor. Room was very clean and bed was neat and clean. Bath room was clean with no soap spots on sink spigots and shower was cleaned and ready to use.

This was a stop on the way from Tucson to San Antonio. This Best Western is very, VERY good. It is clean, friendly, and comfortable. The elevator was out of service but the staff did everything they could do to help make our stay comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel seems incomplete. There was no mirror in the bathroom and random nails in the walls. There was mold in the shower and on the bathroom ceiling. There was dirt in the beds and dust on the room surfaces. The beds were comfortable. The hotel did have a nice pool and hot tub area and a good fenced in area for pets.

We informed you when you called to book the pet room on the ground floor. that we do have a pet room on the ground floor but there is no mirror in the bathroom. The guest who stayed the night before in that room, may be a child or someone pulled on the frame and the mirror came loose. Because of the issue we gave the room at a deeper discount. My parents booked this for me last minute as they wanted me to break up my long drive home over the holidays. This is where they stay when making the drive to visit from Phoenix to Austin and felt safe sending me there as a solo female traveler. It is perfectly located right off of Highway 10. There is plenty of parking and the parking lot is well lit. When I arrived in the evening the front desk staff were very friendly, quickly got me checked in and I was surprised to learn that they had a free hot dinner available! That evening it was fajitas, beans, rice and variety of juices that they prepared for me on a tray to take up to my room (there was also an option to dine in the dining room, with free nachos available at the bar). Was a really nice surprise after a long drive to not have to figure out dinner. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The king size bed was comfortable, pillows are a bit over stuffed and too firm for my liking but I was tired and slept great regardless (also, I'm just picky about pillows and usually bring my own). The bathroom was a good size and very clean with a nice shower with good water pressure. The pool and gym were both open with limited capacity, looked like families were enjoying the pool! It's pet friendly and I saw a few cute small sized pups, all owners were good about keeping them on leashes and staying in their rooms, so if you are afraid of dogs I wouldn't worry. I highly recommend this as a stop to break up your long highway drive. It is very reasonably priced and you will get a free hot dinner, a good nights rest and nice hot breakfast. It has plenty of staff who all appear happy to be there and happy to serve you!

Another win for Best Western. New, well designed, well staffed. A surprise dinner (lasagna, salad, beverage). Our 2 small dogs were welcomed. Outside dog area was very accessible and also clean. Lots of parking.

The lady at the desk was great! Super informative, very knowledgeable. Super professional. Out of all the best westerns I've stayed at this one is at the top of the list. Super nice place. We were traveling for thanksgiving and had a truckload of supplies and was the only hotel I felt safe leaving my vehicle with supplies at. Thank you again!

This would not be a "plus" in my opinion. The front desk staff was flat and unfriendly upon arrival. The hotel needs to be updated but not horrible. The room was "okay" as far as bedding and the bed with hard and uncomfortable pillows. The shower door had been broken off and removed but the hinges were left in place and you had to cautiously avoid them. A shower curtain had been placed to cover the partial missing glass door. They attempted to repair tile work with heavily applied grout leaving rough tile edges in the poorly cleaned shower. They did give us additional towels since it was impossible to shower without water going everywhere.

Unfortunately, we cannot get the parts or replacement door of the same model any more due to manufacturing delays and other issues and that is why we have to put the curtains. I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the shower curtain instead of the glass door. Hopefully, if all goes well, in a year or 2 we are planning a renovation project and we will change it out to tubs with curtains. We will stay here again if reservations are available. The room was clean, staff friendly and welcoming from check in to check out. There was breakfast and dinner available at the hotel, a nice surprize. Easy on and easy off the highway.

We always love Best Western Plus, but this was one of our favorites! Very professional and friendly staff, immaculate room, great food options. Our room was very quiet and much larger than most with a separate living area. We liked it so much we decided to stay a second night!

The Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton is new and very modern. EZ to get to just off I-10. Friendly Staff with an excellent breakfast buffet! Check IN and OUT was easy with check IN via email. Beds and pillows were well prepared and the room was indeed spotless!

I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. The design of the lobby and the room was simple yet practical. I traveled with my large breed dog and got a first floor suite. I was extremely surprised to find a nearly full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots and pans and full sets of utensils and plates and cups. The room was very spacious and had plenty of room for my 2 kids and large dog to walk around comfortably. Breakfast was great and very quick for service. There were dog treats and cookies for the kids in the lobby at check in. I have since stayed at an older Best Western Plus and was not as impressed. I hope that eventually all Best Western Plus locations follow suit with this one because the experience and facilities were amazing!

This was stop number one on a car trip to the west coast. We couldn't have asked for better. Our dog was with us and this hotel knows how to handle them! We had a first floor room that was perfect for our canine companion. Wood grained tile floors were clean and the room was remarkable quiet, even though it was near the lobby. Our puppy loved the treats that were in the room. The evening meal (tacos) and the morning breakfast were simple, well prepared fare. And the staff was very accommodating. Highly recommended; we'd be delighted to stay again.

This is a gem especially if your traveling with your furry friends. They have a great dog run and so accommodating. Rooms are clean and decorated to show their love of dogs. I highly recommend for a good nights sleep…safe, clean and a comfortable stay for my dog too!

This was just a one-night stop on a long trip but was a pleasant surprise, exceeded expectations. The office contacted me the morning of my stay to see if I needed anything special (also alerted me to the fact that, somehow, I had two reserved rooms which was unintended. They took care of it right away.) The rooms have a stuffed chair as well as a work space. There's a restaurant on-site which was giving free meals to guests on the night I was there. Also, a full bar. Breakfast was decent and the staff were extremely helpful in getting you what you wanted (no self-service). I was especially pleased to see that they were using paper, rather than plastic, products. Suggest a room at the back, views of distant mesas and a vacant lot, but away from highway noise.

This hotel is well managed with customers in mind and they have applied great thoughtful ideas as to how make the stay better. If you have pets then don't fear as they have a pet snack station in reception and they are welcomed. My room had a kitchenette and it worked, plus it was stocked with cooking equipment and a full sized fridge with freezer. The highlight was the complimentary super which was nice comfort food and a great way to relax after the day.

Nice lady at check in and my room was nice. There were several gnats or tiny flys inside the room and the toilet handle almost fell off. The tv was the smallest of any hotel on my month long travel from the coast of California to Corpus Christi and back. But the AC and WiFi worked great, the bed was comfy and appreciated the four pillows. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator. I was surprised to get a phone call from the front desk checking in on me, which was very nice. My room was on the second floor and the noise level from the room above me was really loud up till about 11:00 pm, and then it was quiet. There was no road noise at all. I passed on the included dinner as I had brought my own. I did try to get breakfast in the morning, however, due to their safety protocols, the area was cordoned off and you had to wait for a person to make up a plate for you. I stood there for several moments and two ladies could be seen talking to each other but paid me no notice. I gave up and went to the coffee area in the lobby. The racks for creamer and sugar were 90% empty. I gave up and left. I have stayed at several hotels in Ft. Stockton and this was my least favorite.

I really appreciate this property, and was looking forward to my return for a second visit. The staff make this an easy stay, and it was a solid sleep both times. The rooms are quiet, spacious, and truly comfortable. For such a heavily travelled property, they do quite a bit to keep the place up. There is an indoor pool, plenty of space at the bar, and parking is convenient and plentiful. The cats in the parking lot add a lot to the visit for cat-lovers. (Maybe unintentionally.) And the nearby town has auto services and stores available. I was pleased with the covid protocols in place here. I have massive allergies, and overall, this hotel does everything they can to cater to their customers. I would stay here again in a minute. Highly reccomend.

The BW Plus Ft Stockton was an oasis in the desert. A friendly group of people staffing a clean and comfortable hotel. He bonus was the free dinner provided to guests - a true surprise and well received after a long day of driving. The hotel property was clean and clearly cared for. The halls were uncluttered and the rooms quiet and well provisioned. Although I-10 was right nearby, you couldn't hear the traffic from within the rooms. The hotel also had a lounge for those who seek that type of venue. This hotel will definitely be on our list for staying at again as we travel through West Texas again.

Our suite was fully equipped and made us want to stay more than the one night we needed. We were surprised with the size of the room and the amenities, including dishes and pots and pans to use on the electric cooktop.

We were accused by the Manager Santosh Varghes we were smoking weed in the bathroom. We do not smoke nor do we do drugs. I reported the smell and the hotel charged us with NO PROOF!! I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Dear Ms. Renie, Thank you for posting your frustration on Tripadvisor. I understand you are upset. I did send you the video proof. In the past 6 years I have yet to hear guest complain to the front desk in the morning about the smell of Marijuana in their room. Usually, guest would immediately inform us upon check in that they are not happy with their room and complain about any foul smell, but you stayed in the smelly room all night. And complained to the front desk in the morning. By the way, I did refund your money for extra cleaning we had to do and to keep the room unsold for one night. Please be more careful next time. It is still illegal in Texas. We are one hotel in Fort Stockton for the past 5 years in a row. We do not get this distinction by accusing our guest for something like this. Thank you.

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Nice that dinner was offered and that there was variety at breakfast. Impressed that we were called to see if the room was satisfactory. Secure internet and a nice sized TV. Second time we stayed here and we were very satisfied.

After travel west Texas for many miles the Best Western sign was a welcome site. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Facilities were clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

I was traveling with my cat, who I cherish dearly. The Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton is all about pets that travel as there a lot of dogs and cats checking in. The room was clean and comfortable, best of all the cat loved it! Free dinner and breakfast for my cats support staff helped seal the deal. Recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The front desk clerk, Nathan, greeted upon arrival. and offered us popcorn and cookies. And then we received a call from him 15 minutes after we were in our room to make sure everything was to our liking. The room was clean, staff friendly, very comfortable bed, large easy to operate TV, wonderful shower. Dinner and breakfast were free and in their store, they have pints of Blue Bell ice cream. Very well run hotel with high professional standards. Very comfortable bed, large fridge, safe, nice size bathroom with large counter space. Room was immaculate. Staff at hotel very courteous and competent. Extensive breakfast served. Check in and check out very smooth. Large luggage racks provided.

This hotel is a great place to stay when traveling with your furry friends. The hotel was very clean & we could tell that our room had been disinfected. We picked this hotel since we were traveling with our little dog. I had reserved a pet friendly room, but did not realize that there would be a $22.60 additional charge each night for our little Chihuahua until we arrived. Had I known this, I probably would have opted to board her at a family member's house during our trip. The only other problem we had was being able to sleep on a mattress that probably should have been replaced a year or two ago.

Overnight stay so location was not important but was safe place to stay. They had technical difficulties but did not let that stop us from a speedy check in. Dinner as well as breakfast was offered. No grab and go! Nice that the extra effort was placed on serving us when self serve could compromise health safety during Covid-19! All staff was friendly and helpful and seemed happy.

We have stayed at this hotel before and we will go back. We only encountered nice friendly staff, and a big clean room. It was a nice surprise to be invited to dinner when we checked in. We have stayed at many Best Westerns over the years and never had that happen before.

Everything was nice except for the black mold that was on the ceiling. We only stayed here to sleep. The club next door was also loud. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday. Hopefully it's not as bad during the week.

A very nice stay in this clean and recently redecorated Best Western. I was hesitant at first to stay here because of past experiences with Best Western but the excellent reviews convinced me to reserve here. Everything was great - room (size and cleanliness), breakfast, friendly staff. I was tempted to make this five star but the uncomfortable, oddly made shower bugged me. It was an addition of a glassed walk-in shower obviously but the installation was amateurish with a protruding drain that I kept slipping on and a grout job that looked like something I might do. It is a minor thing for some but it was what stood out in our minds after we checked out. BUT this is by far the best place to stay in Fort Stockton so don't let a weird shower send you somewhere else.

We stayed for the night in this Best Western, we were amazed on how clean the rooms were since we had a bad experience at another BW a week before this one. The rooms were so clean and inviting, no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Fort Stockton Best Western!

Stayed here 1 night on our way back to southern AZ from South Padre Island. Very impressed. We don't have any, but for a pet friendly motel, it's very clean. I love that they offer rooms that have never had a pet stay in them. Lobby is nice, decorated well. Restaurant/ bar area surprisingly very nice. Very clean, especially if you look up and notice the fancy ceiling and lovely light fixtures. All spotlessly clean. Had a lovely adult beverage with choice of a bar snack. (Pretzels, peanuts, trail mix). Didn't do dinner but breakfast was hot and fresh. Loved the Raisin Bran and yogurt I chose. Room 216 on 2nd floor was very comfortable, big, clean and surprisingly quiet for being right off the freeway. Would recommend as a very good place to stay for either a night or a week. Note: GPS using the correct address got us lost. We called for specific directions from where we were lost, about 1.5 miles away from location.

Very pet friendly and clean. They even have a little dog park and have treats for your pet in the lobby. Hot breakfast was fresh and cooked to order. We stayed in the king suite which has a full kitchenette and was very convenient. Family friendly too. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this travel hotel and will likely stay again.

This is a good value in lonely Ft Stockton along a less-traveled interstate...new, clean, friendly...complimentary dinner is not much, but it's free! Covid restricted breakfast offering, but was adequate..,

This is the best, best western I have been in and I travel a lot. Desk lady was quick and efficient and nice. Room very clean with nice amenities. Breakfast was served to us and the young lady was great. Special mention. Takayren and alma were awesome.

This Best Western went above and beyond to ensure that my stay there was the best I have ever had. From the time I walked through the front doors until I left the entire staff did everything right! The room was beautiful and one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. I HIGHLY recommend this Best Western to everyone traveling through Texas!

Tried to cancel my reservation and was told he couldn't find it and then days later I got a message saying I had a reservation and needed to know why I'd don't show. So I called and guy didn't listen to me but kept talking about his employee that had been with him for years and asked lots of questions and kept repeating what I had already said and after all that he still charged me for one day when it was clearly NOT my fault but theirs!!! I DON'T recommend this hotel but the Fairfield down the street is very helpful and compassionate to their customers!

Dear Ms. Elsa, I am sorry we disappointed you. We cannot cancel a reservation after the date of arrival. We did cancel your reservation for the second day. We have no record of you calling and cancelling your reservation. We do have record of you changing your reservation 3 times. We asked you if you remember the day you called to cancel, but you keep giving us different days and time. I checked all the dates you said you called but it did not show up on our call log. We did call you on the day of your arrival to confirm and left you a voice message, but you did not respond till the next day. I am again very sorry for this inconvenience. We called you again on the second day to tell you that you were a no show and do you still intent to check in today or you want us to cancel. That is when you called back and asked us to cancel both days. We did cancel your second day but we could not cancel the first day. We were sold out and we turned guest away because we kept the room for you. If you had called us back in time we would be more than happy to cancel your reservation. Again, my apologies. Thank you.

Loved everything about our stay in the out of the way Fort Stockton. Including and especially the Best Western. The communication skills of the front desk people were top knotch. Generally, I don't find this with competitors. But the same spirit pervades restaurants, etc. in the city. wow.

We stayed for one night while traveling and the place was as busy as I have ever seen a hotel. Despite this, we got checked in quickly, our room was good, and we even got to use the dog park, just a little later and earlier than normal due to the number of traveling pet owners.

This is by far the nicest Best Western. Exceptionally clean. Friendly service. Pet friendly and a nice area for dogs to play outside. The hotel even has a bar area which is nice for those who want such. I would definitely stay at this location again if I'm in the area and need a place to stay.

Best Western Plus Fort Stockton Hotel is now my favorite Best Western hotel. The staff are so friendly and really try to make your staff The offer a free breakfast and dinner. They have a bar with a surprising good beer and drink choices. The room is large and clean. This is an oasis on Interstate 10.

They had dinner and breakfast for free! Everything was sanitized and super clean. Was very surprised about that. Would stay there again. The food was good salsibery steak Mac and cheese and salad. Free nacho bar too!

This place is like an old-fashioned motor lodge. You park in front of your room, which we loved! The room is large with a wooden open beam ceiling which we loved. We were there for one night only, and had dinner at Carlitos, which we would recommend for anyone who loves Mexican food. Our dog enjoyed the large grass area by the pool

My husband and I are taking a cross country road trip and staying at extended stay hotels with cooking facilities to avoid having to visit restaurants during the pandemic. I chose this BW based upon the reviews on TripAdvisor, but truthfully I don't understand all of the rave reviews. We booked a king suite with kitchen, which was not even close to what we expected. The kitchen/living area was an uninviting stark room with little in the way of amenities. It was worse than my first apartment!! First the silverware drawer had no forks, one soup spoon and a potato peeler. I wet to find a pan to prepare dinner (nothing fancy, just smoke sausage with red beans and rice). The frying pan was dirty and covered in grease as was the dutch oven/stock pot. Ok, I can wash them I thought, but there was no dish rag or sponge. Then I thought of using a washcloth from the bathroom, but guess what??? We had no wash clothes!! I finally gave up and went back to my car to get paper plates, plastic silverware and a roll of paper towels (did I mention that the hotel did not provide any paper towels either??). I would never recommend this hotel to anyone traveling across country and needing an extended stay hotel.

This was our first trip since COVID and was very nervous. BUT at this Best Western it was clear that everyone took the problem seriously. They were all very friendly and positive. I have determined to use this facility each time we visit our daughter!

Personally I wish I skipped el paso and drove straight here from tuscon .The hotel was clean very dog friendly and the staff was really nice . Fort Stockton is an interesting little town with great little restaurants .I could have stayed here an extra night with no remorse .I you need a place to rest this place has everything and be sure to drive around " old town " it's cute as button

Well lighted exterior, pet poop bags supplied, non-carpeted tile and hard manufactured wood floors, brown bed covering and an enclosed dog run. They offered a free dinner from 6:30 to 9:00ish. Kept us from having to go back out to dinner after a long drive. This was great for the dogs.

The check in folks were very helpful and made check in easy. They told me everything I needed to know and some things I did not know I needed to know. There was a free hot dinner served from 5:30 to 7. There was a bar which opened at 6 PM. A hot breakfast was fixed and served in person the next morning starting at 6 AM. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. The bed was very comfy. The very large TV was nice.

All of my trips east or west on Interstae 10 include an overnight in Fort Stockton and The Best Western Plus' Very friendly staff, extra clean and comfortable rooms and an evening meal all combine to insure that my stay is very restful. The breakfast, indoor pool and the hot tub simply are the icing on a very delicious cake.

This is a newer property built about 2016. The room was very clean. Non carpeted floors ideal for pets. We were given the pet specific room which had cute dog theme decor. Dog treats in lobby. Nice dog run set up and ample room surrounding the property to roam with doggo. The staff very friendly and cheery. Free dinner and breakfast and it was delicious. No buffet due to COVID they serve you the plates. Overall an excellent place to stay as part of your travels.

We stayed at this hotel on a cross country move. The hotel and staff were great. You should check out some of the history about the city too. There is also a great Mexican restaurant close to the hotel.

Great stay! they go above & beyond for pets & breakfast was great but felt bad the woman behind the “line” had to get Everything for you even the cream for my coffee! Bar at night was nice to grab a drink & good nachos! The only downfall (4 stars not 5) was because of the beds—mattresses were awful—i suggest an upgrade or a better mattress topper!

first surprise was a hot dinner for free.. The rooms were wonderful. The whole place was super clean. Heated indoor pool was wonderful to relax away the travel tiredness. Free hot breakfast with so many options, eggs, potatoes, waffle, cereal, fruit, yogurt ...

This Best Western was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. All COVID precautions were taken seriously. The pool was was very warm and made for an excellent break for our two children. Will stay again on our way back home!

This is hands down the Best Best Western I've ever stayed at! It was new, extremely clean, offered a free dinner, breakfast and had a lounge. I also took advantage of the pool and hot tub. Service was exceptional across the board. Truly admirable during COVID. I plan on staying here from now on when I travel the I 10 corridor.

We're traveling with pets and needed a pet friendly hotel in Fort Stockton, Texas. Hotel is easy on/off I-10. Front desk very friendly and professional and gave us a small goody bag for both our puppy and kitten .. which were a hit! Hotel room had luxury vinyl flooring, a puppy pad and a bathroom decorated with pets. There was also a completely fenced in dog run for both small and large dogs. Would stay here again with pets if traveling on I-10. Hotel had a small dinner option and a bar for beverages of choice.

On my way to visit friends in Houston I stayed the night. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The staff are without compare. I'll be staying here again on the way home. Wonderful stay and I'll highly recommend this property.

Clean, amazing attention to detail. Great staff hired by an amazing manager. From free breakfast and dinner down to the dog treats in the lobby everything is arranged to make your stay effortless. I would go out of my way to stay there.

Received a call the morning of our reservation to inquire whether we needed anything special. Received a call shortly after check in to ask if we needed anything else in our room. Dog treats in lobby and plenty of outside space for dogs. Disposable potty pad in room. Complimentary dinner-spicy chicken and gravy, Mac and cheese, salad, nachos. !! Very nice Hot Breakfast! Immaculate facilities. Nice warm indoor pool and hot tub. Staff was fabulous! The best Best Western ever! Well done to staff and management!

Highly recommend this BW+. They take the Plus very seriously. I felt safe given COVID19 requirements. Room was clean and comfortable and having a free dinner on arrival was amazing. And a full breakfast safely served by a masked and very kind staff member was really appreciated. This was my best experience at a BW+ on a four day road trip across country.

I have stayed at this Best Western several times when traveling on Hwy 10. It appears that it has been updated since the last time I stayed there and was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Fort Stockton.

A last minute decision to drive from Phoenix to Tampa found us stopping, coming and going, at the Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel - I wish the other places we stayed along the way were as nice! We required adjoining rooms and found everything to be in order, although one of the rooms was an accessible room. The front desk called early in the day to verify our reservation and ask if there were any special requests - this was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and adequate. the AC and heating worked as expected and outlets were plentiful. This is about the only hotel in the area that is pet friendly, and that was the deciding factor for us, and I'm glad it was. It was so nice waking up to a 12pm checkout and actual hot breakfast until 10am. The breakfast staff prepared plates with smiles on their faces and the food was pretty darn good. There was hand sanitizer everywhere and we felt very safe, as mask wearers, and believe COVID precautions were taken seriously here. The front desk staff were eager to help and all requests (blankets, pillows, etc.) were fulfilled right away. We ended up getting caught up in a New Year's Eve snowstorm, and this place just kept chugging away. There was no satellite TV during that time, but the local channels came through OK. It felt cozy there and we were pleased to be in a warm, safe place and off the road. If you're trying to find a place to stop and rest during your travels, this is the place to be! Amazing staff, terrific amenities, great value and pet friendly!

Face it you just need a break when driving across Texas and there isn't much to pick from in Ft. Stockton. BW Plus has done a super job of providing a clean, comfortable one-stop option. Rates are competitive but not over the top. They excel at amenities with check-in snacks, a complimentary dinner and breakfast. They also have an on-site bar. Both meals were more than the bag-to-go variety we expected. Shower was a unique combination of half curtain/half glass wall with excellent water pressure. TP holder is positioned on the back side of toilet so you need to be nimble to retrieve or collect paper in advance. Establishment is pet friendly. Employee serving meals was a contradiction to all the friendly outgoing service we received by others. He did his job but there certainly wasn't any pride in it.

This place is clean, nicely decorated and pet friendly! We had a plus room with a modern bathroom (stand-alone shower with no nasty tub!) and kitchenette and the flooring was vinyl wood appearance. NO SMELLY CARPET! Friendly staff, dinner and breakfast came with room. EVERYTHING CLEAN!!!

If you're driving through this is a perfectly good place to hang hour hat. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It's very dog friendly which is why we choose it. There's a dog park on the property which was very convenient for us as we were driving cross country with our furry baby. I'd say the room could use a bit of updating but it was comfortable and I slept well.

We were turned onto Best Western Plus hotels through the BringFido app. Once again the recommendation has not let us down. We stayed here for one night while traveling from Tucson to San Antonio and it was awesome! Perfect location. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was immaculate and very dog friendly (including a private dog run on-site). Whilst complying with all Covid protocols, the hotel still managed to make the place feel welcoming with small touches such as complementary dinner and breakfast. Our room was great (120). Large, pet-friendly with separate sitting area and super comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

Lost a point for TV in room not working. Lost a second point for housekeeping knocking on the door at 8:30AM on day of checkout. We got in late the previous night and some of us were still asleep. Staff at the front desk was pleasant.

The team was awesome and cookies or popcorn?? Who does that anymore? This place!! What a surprise! I usually stay at Marriott but with a dog run and cookies and such an awesome team I will be back!! I drive to Texas often with a small dog and they made my life so easy.

Was close off the I-10. Bed was hard and pillows were very thick, Hair in the bathroom. They had a coffee maker in the room but no cups or coffee. Gave you tissue, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair cap. Breakfast was an apple, special K bar, chocolate chip cookies and water in a box. Did not feel the room was clean very well.

We have full hot breakfast in the morning from 6am to 10am and sometimes if you are little late for breakfast we still accommodate you. We offer Fruit, Juice, Coffee, Cereals, Yogurts, Energy Bars all hours of the day. Fresh Baked Chocolate and Macadamia Cookies and Pop corns and Nachos is the afternoon from 5 to 10 pm. We did not have coffee in the room because the coffee filter pods are on back order since Nov. 19th. No suppliers have it. This is due to COVID situation in the manufacturing plant. Manager with a 50% or less full parking lot call the front desk from home after viewing his video camera and inform them to wake me up and help me move my vehicle to a fire lane to park because I was taking up multiple parking spaces with a large vehicle. At 3:30 in the morning I look out the window to still pay 50%.. Complete harassment by the manager. Maybe the manager should pay more attention on ordering coffee for the rooms so he doesn't run out then how full the parking lot might get in the middle of the night.

Dear Donny, I am sorry about the inconvenience caused by asking you to move your vehicle. I can understand the frustration that after 2 hours of check in the front desk asked you to move your vehicle. They should have done that when you were checking in. The front desk should have asked and probably you also forgot to mention that you are pulling a trailer. The reason was because there were 3 other guests who asked us where they can park their trailers and the front desk advised them either the truck and trailer parking on the east and the west side of the building or parallel to the curb on the east side. Each time the front desk told the other guests checking in that they cannot park anywhere else they were pointing to your vehicle and asking how come you were allowed to take up multiple spaces and park where you wanted and why they can't. So, if there are 4 or 5 trailers taking up 4 to 5 small car parking spaces the guests traveling in small cars are obviously going to be annoyed. As far as the in room coffee is concerned, I have placed the order for the filters on November 19 and they are on backorder. It was suppose to get here on December 4 and now it is pushed to December 21. The answer from the supplier is that they are not shipping them out from China yet due to some manufacturing issue or shipping issue. We have coffee available all hours of the day in our dining room. Again, my apologies that you had to come down to move your vehicle after 2 hours of your check in. Sincerely,

one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. modern, clean, well decorated, with big screen TV. though I didn't use them the pool and spa looked beautiful as did the fitness room. very accommodating for my dog was enclosed dog runs adjacent to the property. outstanding hotel personnel throughout. highly recommend.

The Best Western in Fort Stockton is somewhat hidden behind other hotels, the entrance road is adjacent to the Interstate " on ramp" and we got it wrong! Signage for all hotels in the town could be improved to assist tourists. Overall we rated this hotel as " average" because it is a "Plus" Best Western but the quality of bed linen and bathroom amenities provided were inferior to many basic BWs that we have experienced while traveling. The position and layout of the hotel is good.

Clean, hygienic and well maintained. Not more than 12 ppl allowed in the breakfast area. During COVID too, it feels perfectly safe. Excellent service!! I would highly recommend this hotel for family , couple and friends.

Great place to stop after a long drive. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was nice and relaxing with the hot tub that overflows into the pool. They served a free dinner (hot dogs and french fries) which was a nice surprise to find out at check in. They serve free breakfast also. We would definitely stay here again.

On a trip to Big Bend National Park, we experience car trouble and had to spend an unplanned night in Fort Stockton. The Best Western Plus was an Extremely Pleasant Surprise and a much needed refuge. The rooms were sparkling clean and large, and we were surprised to find a full size refrigerator in the fully stocked mini-kitchen. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This is truly a Great Find in West Texas!

We needed a place to stop and rest on a long cross country drive. This hotel was well rated, and my experience is it deserved those great ratings. The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The staff at breakfast were amazing. During this time of COVID, hotels with breakfast included have been scaling back and not offering much. But that was not the case with this Best Western. They were very safe, and personal in their service. And the selection and quality of the food was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Nice staff, clean, and very pet friendly! Despite COVID offered safe options for dinner and breakfast. Very impressed with everything about this hotel and I would recommend it to anybody, especially if you are traveling with your pets!

We were moving from California to Louisiana and this was our second night traveling. This hotel was so accommodating, clean, and comfortable. They even called the morning of our stay to confirm and to ask if there was anything extra they could do for us...I was amazed by that as no other hotel has EVER called and we travel often. Will definitely stay at Best Western again.

Amazing staff and management. Amazing amenities and lounge. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Will totally recommend it to others any chance we get. The pet friendly vibe was taken to the next level. The room was not carpeted which would make clean up easier if necessary and on the first floor, which was awesome. The lounge was open a little later to accommodate the quests which just showed the staffs dedication to their customers.

We stopped during our move with a 26' moving truck with a car in tow. There is plenty of parking in the hotels parking lot and in the lots next to the hotel. There is also a small dog park that our doggo certainly enjoyed. Every interaction i had with the staff was pleasant. We were traveling with a dog so we stayed in one of the first floor pet friendly rooms, and I love the décor they went with in there, very playful. Beds are a bit firmer but i still slept very well. The breakfast was way more than i was expecting so that is a huge plus. Definitely recommended!

Traveling in the time of covid 19 is tuff. This is the best hotel we have stayed at on this trip. The pool and jacuzzi were the great. The pool was very warm and everything look super clean. They did have some one serve a hot breakfast of eggs and sausage. Staff was great and hotel was clean. They also had free hamburgers fries for dinner.

All the staff wore masks, but just about all the guests did not, and no one asked them to comply with safe interactions and distancing. Other than masks and distancing, this is one of our favorite places to stay along I-10 between Phoenix and San Antonio. Their bar is fun and convenient, and the SSSteakhouse almost across the street is really good!! You get a lot for the value at this place!!

We were looking for a much needed quick get away and decided to take in Big Bend National Park. The park requires months in advance reservations, so, the closest we found was 2 hours away at The Best Western Plus Fort Stockton Hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The service amazing, the bed comfortable, clean, and well tended. The personnel at the hotel is A-1 class, and they took care of EVERYONE in a timely manner. Dogs included!!! They made you feel at home. It was worth the 2 hour drive back and forth to Big Bend knowing we were going to a great hotel.

We stopped here for a second time going across the country. We were pleased when we came through last year so felt comfortable trying it again. We were not expecting any food or bar service like last year because of COVID, but after a long tiring day of driving, we were happy to find that they were serving a complimentary dinner of lasagna, salad and nachos as well breakfast the next morning. The sweet sweet lady serving was so nice and attentive and pleasantly conversational as was the young man at the front desk and we actually had a call from the office later to make sure our room was clean and everything was good for us. Would definitely stay here again.

I wish I could remember the names of the girls at the front counter when we arrived around 5 p.m. on September 21st. When we checked into our room the bed seemed old with being able to see previous body indentations so I called down to ask if there would be a better room hoping being a diamond member I could move. The girl found a room and sweetly delivered the new room key. Beds are definitely a little more firm than I prefer but still a comfortable stay. Right now they're doing a limited covid breakfast but the breakfast attendant Liz was so sweet and helpful even though she was so busy, great personality and spirit.

If I could give a hotel 6 stars I would give it to this location. They fully understand and appreciate their customers. While traveling, we stopped for the night and were blown away from the start. They offered a discount without asking, had free Burgers, Fries and Nachos that evening on top of free Popcorn. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. They had Eggs, Sausage, Cereal, Coffee, Juices, Bagels, etc., and it is all served by the hotel staff person. The entire staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. If I return to Ft Stockton, I will definitely stay here again. I hope you find this review helpful in making your next travel plans.

I really likes it was right off the freeway and close to a few places to eat and get gas. I really liked the meals. Breakfast they had several choices and served you not a whole lot of seating but most people were taking meals to their rooms. Everyone was friendly and the food was great. They had food at night also saved me from driving around looking for something.

This is a nice surprise. We'd never stayed in a SureStay by Best Western before. I was greeted, thanked for my loyalty membership and told we'd been upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. The room was very nicely appointed. The fridge was bigger. The TV swiveled between the two areas. There were 4 pillows, but only two towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Plenty of room for everything. The dining room was in service, but you had to wait to be served. No self service. And, unexpectedly, there was a dinner offering! Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, salad, nachos, etc. You could dine in (if maximum customers wasn't exceeded, or take it back to your room. Since we have the dog, we eat in the room. I had the salad and it was very fresh and delicious. Hubby had the Salisbury steak and potatoes, though not a gourmet treat, was just what he needed. The next morning, breakfast was similarly served. Hubby had scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. I know this isn't unusual fare, but it is hard to find in many places during the pandemic. The pet area was enclosed with two separate areas, all grassed with bags provided. Just a couple of downers. The bed was too hard and made weird creaking noises if you moved on it wrong. I kept waking every two hours or so because my hips and shoulder were hurting and I had to turn over. I don't mind a firm mattress, but need a soft layer on top. Also, the walk-in shower did not have any place to put more than a bar of soap off the floor. I use shampoo, conditioner, razor, comb, body wash. I DO NOT want to have to put them on the floor of the shower!!! All personnel we encountered were friendly and professional. All Covid-19 protocols were being followed by every staff member we met. Front desk check-in was very smooth and fast. The dining room server was just excellent for both dinner and breakfast. She even made decaf for me for the road.

First time at a BW Plus property. We made reservations in advance on the BW website, and completed a pre-check in 2 days before the res date. After 11+ hours in the road, the hotel was a welcome sight. Check in was easy and our room was away from I-10 and away from the elevator as requested. Plenty of luggage carts available so we only had one trip from the car. All staff wore masks. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations, altho the station next to the elevator was empty. As other reviews stated, a comp dinner was provided which we appreciated (not having to drive somewhere!). Next morning's complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of hot dishes as well as yogurt, cereal and fruit (fruit was plastic wrapped). Our pet-friendly room was very quiet, and well equipped with everything we needed, including a refrig and a coffee maker. We wipe all surfaces, knobs, switches and the tv remote down due to Covid, and the wipes showed a lot of dust and dirt in both the room and bathroom. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were much too bulky. This would have been a five star review but for the no sanitizer/dust/dirt/pillows. We would stay here again.

I have traveled frequently over the years for dog shows and dog related activities. I've made many trips from Houston to Arizona and California and Fort Stockton is a favorite stop. This experience with 3 dogs was absolutely wonderful. The facilities were the best I've ever experienced and left me wishing I had more reasons to stop in Fort Stockton. Our meal at the K-Bob Steakhouse was outstanding as well.

We were passing through Fort Stockton and needed a pet friendly place to stay. The reviews for this hotel were very good so we decided to stay here. I'm happy we did. It was a nice hotel and there was an added bonus we weren't even aware of. We pulled in late in the afternoon and were going to have to figure out a place to grab a quick dinner, however, much to our delight the hotel had a complimentary dinner. It was basic, more like glorified appetizers, but it met our needs and meant we didn't need to make another trip out that evening. Would definitely stay here again. Even had complimentary dog treats for our fur baby.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel to stay with a dog, as there is a dedicated run just outside. Complimentary dinner and breakfast were included. Despite these positives, though, even in July 2020, when Texas is experience an explosion of COVID-19 cases, more than half the staff we encountered in this hotel were not wearing face masks or were wearing them improperly (covering mouth and chin only). The man serving dinner to guests in the dining room had no mask at all. The manager walked around in the lobby and front desk area with no mask at a all. Despite the COVID adjustments the hotel has made, guest and staff safety are clearly still not the top priority.

We stayed here one week ago, when coronavirus cases in Texas were starting to skyrocket. During check in there were three employees behind the counter and none of them were wearing masks. The housekeeping staff all was but not one person at the front desk had their face covered. I've been a Best Western Rewards member for years but will no longer stay at their hotels. If public safety matters to you during this pandemic I suggest you look elsewhere for lodging in Fort Stockton.

We do care about our guest safety and our employee safety, that is the reason we have put up the Plexiglass partition at the front desk, that is the reason why we do not allow any self service for breakfast, but have our guest being served by the attendant and service personal. That is the reason why we do not allow more that 10 ppl in the dinning room or pool at one time. That is the reason why we air out our floors every day by opening the windows and door and leaving them open for 3 to 4 hours so the fresh air can circulate thru our building, even when it is 102 degrees out side and our ACs are working harder. That is the reason why set all the ACs in the room on high constant fan so it sucks in the fresh air even if the room is not occupied. That is reason why we post the sign for social distancing and use Best Western recommended disinfectants from Ecolab. That is the reason why we provide guest with sanitizing wipes upon check in. Now front desk staff were required to wear masks, but after the installation of the plexiglass partition, and the distance between the staff and the guest, wearing the mask the guests checking in were having hard time hearing and understanding the staff so they have to take it off while talking and then put it back again. But again, I am sorry. You are rightfully concerned about everyone's safety. I will certainly address it with the front desk staff. Again, my sincere apologies. Sincerely,

This was by far the best experience we have had traveling with our small dog. They gave him treats at check-in and had them available in the lobby through out our stay. They also have a fenced in play area and the area was kept clean. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling with pets.

Heading from Phoenix to San Antonio during this Corona virus. After driving miles and miles, we are just happy to be able to stop and rest. Front desk were wearing masks. Lasagna was being served when we arrived. Buffet was blocked off with chairs and signage and food was served to go. We appreciated that. Friendly lady served it up. Breakfast will be the same. Signs stating no more that 12 people can be in the dining seating area at any given time. The room is comfortable. Not a fan of dark brown. Immediately removed the bed cover. Gross, gross carpet. Honestly carpet should be banned in hotels across the board. Bathroom was nice enough. Decent toiletries. Good shower. Not the hotels fault at all. We are just on edge because of this virus. The slight smell of men's cologne. Not a favorite scent. Other than that it will do.

all staff friendly & attentive. the cleanliness is remarkable. the building & grounds well-kept. the location is on the Interstate so there was highway noise but not exceedig foam ear plugs, which i carry for every hotel/motel experience.

This hotel deserves every 5 star rating it receives. Such friendly staff, especially Lupe at the front desk. Clean and comfortable, unbelievable afternoon snacks and breakfast selection, including pancakes. Complimentary dinner. There were two bus loads of high school baseball players and we never heard a peep. Only complaint was the fan system made a soft buzzing sound all night.

Easy check-in and friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi and pool open until midnight and nice warm waters. Felt like they use a water softener as well. Great chance to relax and chill out after a long drive. Restaurant does not have a full service restaurant. Nice breakfast area and bar only

I'm a platinum rewards member and have frequently enjoyed associated benefits. However, I rarely take time to offer comments. For this stay, I have to say my expectations were exceeded for a couple reasons. First of all, the hotel is located a distance away from restaurants, so they actually offered a complimentary hamburger, soup and chips when we checked in - not a gourmet hamburger but very adequate for that situation. Also, and probably for the same reason, they had a bar available in the evening which I've not seen before at a Best Western. Nice place and nice people - highly recommend it.

We traveled westbound in TX, heading to AZ, and decided to stay the night in Fort Stockton. Check In was quick and easy, and our room was clean, well laid-out, and had all the amenities we all expect in a hotel in 2020. The included breakfast was plentiful. All told, very satisfied.

Thought I had booked at Hampton. Oops! But oh well let's give it a try! First impression should set the tone to entire stay. Well front desk personnel was not friendly at all did not let us feel welcomed but instead a bother! The room was very comfortable and clean. But provided no wash cloths. The hallways rooms and lobby had a pleasant fragrance. Mud was all over floors. Breakfast was ok nothing like Hampton. Did not have healthy options except oatmeal. Needed service at front desk for toothbrush but no one in sight. The lady from breakfast area which couldn't understand what we were asking cause she didn't speak English had to get someone to help us at front desk. It was an ok stay but we will be returning to Hampton Inn!

We do provide the following: * We have varieties of fresh fruit, Bananas, oranges, Tangerines, 3 different varieties of apples and Kiwi. * We provide 3 different varieties of yoghurts (2 different flavors of Activa, 2 flavors of Chobani Greek yoghurt, 3 different flavors of Yoplait yoghurt and Yoplait LIGHT with granola toppings). * Almond and Peanut breakfast bars. * Fresh Boiled eggs at the hotel every day ( not canned). * Fresh Oatmeal with toppings like mixed nuts, Raisins and Cranberries, Brown Sugar. * Raisin Bran and Cheerios with Choice of Skim milk or Almond milk. * Tropical canned fruit. * 12 Grain bread with choice of Peanut butter or Cream cheese. * V8 JUICE. Besides the above, we have scrambled eggs, a meat option and potatoes, which I know may not be that healthful if you are counting calories. We travel between AZ and SAan Antonio TX 2 times a year. Paid a little extra this time and stayed at this BW+. Clean aas a whistle and they have a fantastic dog run/potty area that's perfect. Some of the otheer hotels in Ft. Stockton can be marginal at best. NOT this one. This one is Great.

Check-in was easy, they had free popcorn, candy, and dog treats. Dinner was complimentary as well that night. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and organized. My stay was excellent. I was very pleased with the access in and out with my pets.

This is a true gem. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean, beautiful inside and has all the amenities a traveler needs to feel like home. After a long day on the road I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I recommend this Best Western highly.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had our 2 dogs and they put us in a great room on the bottom floor. Great room and a very comfortable bed as well. We enjoyed the bar at night and the nice breakfast they have. Don't miss this great place to stay.

Check in was an average wait. Unfortunately, the staff did not have our keys ready on arrival. The hotel has one elevator. When the elevator doors opened, our floor reeked of pesticide. Upon opening the door to the room we were overwhelmed by the smell of pesticides--very uncomfortable (and unhealthy) to breathe, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel room windows did not open (no option) so we were stuck breathing toxic fumes. The bed was comfortable enough and had all non-feather pillows--great for allergy sufferers! Each nightstand had a lamp with a power outlet--good for charging phones and devices at bedside. The room had a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffeemaker, and the closet had an iron and ironing board. The walls were thin, as was the door that had a huge gap at the bottom; every move the neighboring guests made could be heard--even those in the room above. The bathroom had a shower (only) that, unfortunately, had mold in the grout--housekeeping needs to give that a good scrubbing. The shower water pressure was good, the shower head had a decent flow, and the hot water stayed hot. The towels were thin but absorbent. There was a multi-speed hairdryer under the sink. The WiFi was strong. Parking was free in the hotel's large lot. I'd likely look elsewhere if I'm passing through again--mainly due to the horrible pesticide smell, which is the only reason for the low rating.

Dear Guest, I am very sorry about the pesticide smell. I don't know why and how they will be spraying a strong smelling chemical that is toxic to humans.It never happened before. We have been using this same vendor for the last 5 years. The vendor is reputable and is certified, insured and licensed in the state of Texas. I will certainly look into it and question the vendor about the smell. Again, I am very sorry. Next time if you are not happy with your room during your check in or anytime with in a few hours of your check in, please let us know. This is an excellent place to stay if you're in the Fort Stockton area. Easy on and off access to I-10, and easy to find. The beds are comfortable, and everything in the hotel and room we stayed in looked brand new and was sparkling clean. The complimentary breakfast was truly “a breakfast for champions.” It consisted of fresh fruits of all kinds, eggs, authentic potatoes, fresh juices, power bars and more. Santosh, the general manager, was a great host. We was more than gracious to my wife and myself, and helped accommodate my wife needs, which we greatly appreciate. You can tell Santosh is very serious about making this hotel a top of the line establishment (which it is) and making sure his guests are happy. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will not even consider another one if we are in the Fort Stockton area.

This looked like a brand new hotel but apparently it is about 5 years old! Lobby was very bright, modern and clean. Rooms were very nice and we had a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was pretty good too with a good selection. There were also snacks, coffee etc available in the dining area all day. They also had a bar although we did not check it out. This was definitely a Best Western Plus with great staff too.

This was not our first visit to the Ft. Stockton BW and it won't be our last. Everything about our stay was good. The Saturday Night Surprise was that they served us Burgers and really delicious Potato Soup for free. They also have a bar.

We had been on the road for five days. This was the first night we slept well, and even too late! Bedding is so comfortable. The property is really nice and there's a bar that's open until 9 or 11 p.m. No food, just drinks. We chose this BWP because they are pet friendly but if that isn't your criteria, stay here anyway.. The breakfast was the best we've had throughout our trip. ASIDE: dinner at K-Bob's was a highlight. Inexpensive, good steak, great salad bar, full bar. Check it out.

Staff was very friendly, room was very comfortable, nice area for your pet to go potty, parking lot is well lit. They now have food and drinks on the weekend. We stay here pretty often on our journeys and will definitely be back again.

Located close to the highway, this hotel provides all that one needs for an outstanding overnight stay. The staff are friendly and very accomodating, the rooms are large and very clean and well appointed. The breakfast has many different items all designed to get you on the road quickly and efficiently. All of the above are the reasons that when in Fort Stockton, this Best Western is a very good choice for your overnight stay. On a note of information, this hotel also provides an evening complimentary meal. While not five star, it is wholesome and means that you do not have to go out for a meal after a long drive.

This is one of the better lodgings we've stayed at in Ft. Stockton and I'd rate it a solid 4.5. Every employee we interacted with was extremely friendly and hospitable. Lobby and rooms were exceptionally clean. Even the TV remote had been sanitized and bagged! Room/bed were large and comfortable. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Lots of extras: cookies in the lobby, pet treats for dogs, complimentary Sunday dinner (actually better classified as heavy hor d' oeuvres), deluxe business center, on-site evening bar, closed caption TV, strong WIFI, clean indoor pool, etc. For a city that offers minimal this Best Western does a great job of providing a lot. Just a few changes/upgrades would make the room excellent. There was no working bathroom fan and when I inquired receptionist confirmed room did not have one. No towel racks or counters near the shower so one had to get out wet and drip across floor to towels. No bathtub but not really an issue unless you want that. Molding in bathroom and tile on exterior of shower needs replacing or repair and there was a foul smell from the bathroom sink. There were no wash cloths but when I located a housekeeping employee she politely provided.

We stayed here a year ago while traveling with our Whippets and stayed again due to our excellent experience last time. We were not disappointed this stay. This hotel has it all for those traveling though town and need a night's stay and in our case, traveling with two Whippets. The hotel is pretty new, in superb condition; clean, modern, our suite was once again HUGE with a full kitchen, huge TVs and a great dog run! The staff is friendly. This one room faced the highway but was very quiet. They did charge us a pet fee again but it was only $20 which considering the quality of the room and hotel fee, was well worth the price. Once again this location totally fulfilled all our needs and expectations.

Great experience. Receptionist was very accomodating. Looked up my Best Western loyalty membership when I didn't even know I had one and applied credit to my account. Very clean, modern lobby, restaurant, and guest rooms at a reasonable price.

This is a very nice newer hotel. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bed is excellent - we slept very well. The desk person who checked us in went above and beyond to make sure we got the room we wanted. Usual offerings at breakfast, but overall very good.

This Hotel was a great place to stay on are travel to see family. The room was clean and the people were nice and very helpful. I would stay again on my next trip back home or any time traveling through Fort Stockton.

We really appreciated the free manager's special for dinner and the indoor pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. Salt water pool so no awful chlorine smell in the pool area. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip to West Texas.

Chose this hotel for price and reviews. We've been on the road for two weeks and this was the best breakfast we've had. Both waffles and pancakes were available. Real Cheerios. The kind of milk you would want. Fresh fruit salad. Other choices. Good coffee. Friendly attendant. The hotel is new, clean, and comfortable. Nice staff. Room was roomy with lots of outlets. Good internet. Pillows were too hard. GPS had hotel on town strip but it's off the freeway.

Very courteous staff, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable room. We will definitely stay here again, and hopefully have an opportunity to patronize the cocktail lounge. All said and done this is the nicest Best Western we have stayed in.

My husband I stayed here on Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and again on Saturday night as we headed home to Tucson. Both stays were outstanding! The whole hotel is immaculately clean, staff welcoming, and breakfast with selection to please all tastes. Especially appreciated was a hamburger, chips, and soup supper on Saturday night. We were tired from traveling and not having to go back out to find dinner meant so much to us...Thank You Best Western Fort Stockton!!!

Absolutely excellent accommodating experience! The staff is professional and has wonderful hospitality skills. The guest room felt welcoming and even my elderly dog relaxed! I was able to go take care of some personable business and return, take a nap and then check-out with the greatest of ease. Thank you for all you do!

Overall, the best hotel that I have stayed in many years for customer service. From check-in to a beautifully prepared guest room to the complimentary dinner and full breakfast to the check out process~~ all friendly and cheerful staff exceeded my expectations. I would stay at this hotel again.

We usually stop in Fort Stockton since it is halfway to our final destination - this hotel is modern, up to date and clean - also looks great from the outside - rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable - definitely will continue to stay at this hotel.

I thought that this would just be a hotel the same as any other Best Western Plus but I was very pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We earned a free night stay during the early part of our trip and the young ladies at the desk helped us redeem the reward even though we had a reservation and would have had to pay for the night. After this pleasant bit of checking in, we were told that there was a manger's special that night and we had dinner, gratis, at the hotel. The property is fresh, clean, comfortable, and convenient. Cannot ask for more.

In the middle of a drive across Texas, our family stayed here. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to grab some cookies before we made it to the room. The front desk was so nice and the room was large and clean. The king bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really good and they had so many choices! The kids loved it! We enjoyed our stay!

After a rough night and a very long day of travel we stayed here. Thanks to a cheerful staff, a taco supper that was provided free, and available popcorn and cookies; we went to the well-decorated room with nice soap and shampoo, plenty of kleenex and toilet paper and soft fluffy towels. The beds were very comfortable with cuddling pillows. It was heavenly after the previous 24 hrs.

This BW Plus was FANTASTIC and far exceeded our expectations! From checking in to having a few drinks at the lounge, then breakfast the next morning and checking out - it was all great! Everyone working in the hotel that we encountered were very professional and super nice! Highly recommended and will definitely be staying in more Best Westerns from here on out!

This Best Western makes Fort Stockton a great stop along I-10. It has a gorgeous lobby, very comfortable and clean rooms and very good breakfast offerings. It has a nice fitness center and even has a lounge and bar. Tip: Ask for a room facing away from I-10. The traffic noise didn't bother us but it's still quieter on the back side of the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel before after a full day on the road. First time we brought our pets: 1 cat and 2 dogs. The hotel has pet rooms available and nice outdoor facilities for the pets. This time I stayed in the hotel without pets. The reason I chose this hotel was because the staff is very accommodating, dinner is served for free and the hotel has a full bar. Great clean place to stay. Oh, almost forgot; the beds are very comfortable.

Like an oasis in the vast desert of West Texas. Clean, comfortable with caring staff. Breakfast with many hot and cold options and love that complimentary snacks and beverages options are available 24 hours. Very pet friendly property with a special mini dog park at back.

It is relatively new, and the room is not as large as those operated by large hotel brands. But this place leaves fruits and coffee maker all day for those who wants a bit or a drink. It serves decent breakfast, but the better part is the bar in the earning serves beer and all kind drinks

Ft. Stockton Texas seems to be a busy place! It is the perfect place for us to stay after a 1/2 day drive on our way to Tucson. We have stayed at this motel at least 6 times in the past year and it is comfortable and clean. We always get a great night's sleep.

I stayed here twice in July with my dog--on the way to and from Houston dog shows. I was impressed with the property and the friendliness of the staff. They have special rooms for people with dogs and a fenced dog run with artificial turf, which makes this a super place to stay. The hotel is clean, breakfast is what you would expect. It is a hidden gem.

My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay overnight during our road trip out west — and this Best Western Plus was right off our route. Everything went above and beyond our expectations! Extremely friendly front desk staff who checked us in and made us feel welcomed. The complimentary food was delightful, as were the staff members/cooks who prepared everything. We felt totally comfortable and safe here. Highly recommend for anyone stopping through Fort Stockton!

Great room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast options are the main perks of this Best Western Plus hotel. The proximity to route 10 allows easy access to the freeway to continue east towards San Antonio or west towards El Paso. The hotel had cookies in the lobby for us when we checked out.

Very modern, clean and well appointed hotel just off the I10 exit 257 mid way between San Antonio and El Paso. This hotel has all the amenities you need to stay awhile on business or for a good nights rest after a day of travel. Dining area is clean and spacious and even sports a bar serving drinks after 7. There's a pool and fitness room, small business office with a couple of work stations and modern lobby area. Combine all that with the friendly staff and you have a good value in a convenient location. We'll stay again.

Amazing, friendly and caring people at this hotel! From checking in until checking out they have been fabulous! My situation is a little unique. I checked in and managed to get really ill overnight (nothing contagious) I went to an urgent care to be seen and get medication. I needed a little extra time to get back, they were so gracious and caring when I got back; asking about my well-being, just like family would. I dont think I've ever been treated so well at a hotel and I've stayed at some of the best 5 star hotels in 4 countries! If you need a place to stay in Ft Stockton, this is the place to go (even if you dont get sick!) The Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton surpassed our expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They all made us feel important and valued. The light meal was a definite surprise after a long day of travel. If anyone is traveling across Texas on I-10, I highly recommend you plan a break in Fort Stockton.

This was a great hotel in a very awful city. The team at the hotel were great and very helpful. We especially liked Liz in the food service area, she both served our evening social and our early breakfast.

The most variety of HOT breakfast we ever had in a hotel: 2 brands of coffee, oatmeal, fresh made pancakes or toasts or croissants or others, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon…… just mention a few. Very friendly staff. Room is clean. Great location.

I don't often say this, but this was a great hotel experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern. My kids were able to get their wiggles out in the pool after a long day of driving, and I used the fitness room, which had a variety of equipment- weights, machines, exercise mat, etc. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of foods, there were snacks and drinks available in the lobby (no extra charge!), and the night we arrived they were serving a free dinner of hamburgers, soup and salad. I would absolutely stay here again if ever passing through Ft. Stockton!

Very satisfied with the service, staff extremely friendly and helpful. VERY GOOD BREAKFAST. Good competitive price, the rooms have everything a whole family needs. The whole facility was very clean with personnel always ready to take care of any accidents found in the public areas.

The front desk staff could definitely be more friendly and helpful, but that's my only complaint! The hotel and room were clean and well-maintained. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi after our long day of driving. We were very impressed by the free breakfast! You can make your own pancakes or waffles, and they have a cereal bar, oatmeal bar, burrito station, bagels and danishes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, and lots of coffee and juice options!

This Best Western Plus is a quick couple of turns off 1-10. We arrived late after a long day of driving. We were greeted by friendly folks manning the front check-in desk. Little time wasted in getting us in a very clean well equipped mini suite room. We found the room clean with a very comfortable bed. (what more do you ask for a one night stay). The complementary breakfast was tasty with a wide selection of breakfast staples. We highly recommend this facility for an overnight-not sure why there would be extended stays in Fort Stockton??

Office staff was friendly. Convenient area. For the price I would assume they would have at least clean rooms and bathrooms. We stayed in Best Western plus before in different cities with the dogs and we surprised how clean they were. This time we were traveling without the pups so we got a room upstairs for non-pets. The shower was awful with hair and dirt still in the shower, Dirt clumps and hair in the corners on the floor and stains and debris on the carpet in the room. The chair had something white and clumpy spilled down the front so couldn't even use the only seat in the room. All the prices around the same in Fort Stockton so I highly recommend you grab another hotel in this area. Best Western Plus in El Paseo is the one you want... Not the one in Fort Stockton.

Good afternoon Ms. Terri, I am sorry about the dirty room. I sent you an email this morning. I looked into what happened after I received your email. Like I mentioned in the email, the guest checked out late from that room because he checked in very late (early morning). Housekeeping staff had left for the day. After a guest checks out the room becomes available to sell on line we got sold out and the front desk staff had to go and clean the room. I see that they did not do a good job. I did refund money. If I were you, I would not have accepted that room, and would have demanded another room or would have checked out and gone to another hotel. Again, my apologies for disappointing you. In short: While neither it or Fort Stockton could seriously be regarded as "destinations" in their own right, the Best Western Plus exceeded my expectations, and delivered a very impression overnight stay option as we travelled through western Texas. Measured in the key categories* it scored a solid 4.4 average. The long story: Honestly, we were simply looking for an overnight stay to break up a long drive from Lincoln, NM to San Antonio TX and Fort Stockton appeared to be as good a place as any in that part of West Texas. The hotel is conveniently if not romantically positioned and on the outskirts of town and therefore it's easy to find and park. The room itself was large - indeed, huge - and well-appointed, comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was a slight let-down, with the emphasis being on "grab-and-go" food and utensils and maybe it would be nice to have a more genuine sit-down feel to things, but I suppose they are catering to the majority, to people that simply want to get on the road; fair enough. The acid test (that is, would I return): certainly, if I found myself in that part of the world again. *Key Categories Accommodation = comfort, ambiance, sleep quality, facilities: 4.5 Breakfast/Dining = quality, choice, appropriateness: 4.0 Staff = helpfulness, efficiency, politeness: 4.5 Meeting Expectations = how close to meeting the expectations they set: 4.5 Value-for-Money = taking everything into consideration and measuring this against the cost: 4.5

My stay was an overnighter. I arrived late and left early-ish. This spot is the very definition of speedy, efficient service inside a comely building. Carpets, walls, elevators, room and bath all very clean. It was easy to check in and out. There are several gasoline stations and full service grocery/sundries+ stores within a mile. The place is quiet and the TV screens are large. The access to I-10 was easy. It's a good place to stay.

Very clean and updated. The staff was so sweet and accommodating. We stayed in two other hotels on our stay and this was by far the best. They even had a complimentary dinner when we arrived. I would highly recommend.

Pillows smell, the blankets in all 3 of our rooms were worn, and balled. The sheets were worn and felt like sand paper. This was so below standard for Best Western. We have successfully stayed at Best Westerns in the past. This was an extremely uncomfortable stay.

Very clean, very comfy beds, even a bar so you don't have to go out. Very quiet, secure, and nice laundry room. Huge, walk in shower! Receptionists so friendly and helpful....cookies, popcorn, snacks, and coffee...what more could you want, except maybe the usual breakfast, plus fruit salad, tortillas, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, pancakes, homefries with onion and sausage. Convenient location, too!

I've stayed here several times travelling cross country. This was the first time without a dog so I was in a room on the 3rd floor rather than the pet friendly 1st floor. Everything here is clean and well maintained. THe single bed is huge and comfortable. The A/C worked well and was quiet. We asked for extra towels and a set of sheets for the sofa bed, and these were delivered quickly. The front desk is friendly and efficient. While the breakfast is the standard 'free' breakfast food, there is an attendant who greets guests, monitors and refreshes the food, and cleans the tables, and manages this very effectively. This is also a modestly priced hotel option and I highly recommend it.

I can't say enough about how impressed I was with this property. I thought it would be an average experience because Best Western has always been more of an average hotel for me. This property was new, modern, clean, friendly and the list goes on. The hotel offered plenty of parking, a pantry, food on site for breakfast and dinner which was included in the cost of my room. The staff was so friendly. If I'm ever in Fort Stockton again I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property.

Very clean, free dinner on the weekends, oustanding breakfast, beautiful rooms, and a heated indoor pool and hot tub, plus nice gym. Super friendly staff. Sujey at the front desk even got me a roll of electrical tape when I needed to repair my trailer hitch wiring. Best Westerns are nice regardless and the Best Western PLUS definitely lives up to its name. SIX STARS!

I don't have anything to complain about, the price, the people are nice and polite, breakfast is delicious and weekend dinner delicious!!! I feel comfortable staying with my daughters while my husband works.

Have no complaints about our stay. The staff is most helpful with any issues, directions, or simple details regarding internet connections. Our room accommodations were clean, well supplied, and a comfortable bed made our stay complete. Breakfast options are far above the usual offerings at other locations we have stayed. Speedy check in and out.

I loved everything about this hotel and hope that this is the future of where hotel chains are going. I also hope that Best Western realizes how lucky they are to have the staff they do. The enclosed pool and fitness are was wonderful and clean. The bar and breakfast area was nice with a great selection. It was awesome to be able to have a glass of wine at the end of a long drive as well as snack food all there in the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and our overall experience was top level for a chain hotel. Hope Best Western is paying their people what they are worth!

A fabulous hotel for the weary traveler! We had been traveling all day down a very boring I-10 from Houston and just needed a comfortable bed for the night as we traveled onward towards Arizona. This hotel seems fresh and new, which is a great testament to how they maintain it! It was clean and smelled great! The bed was comfy and our room was large enough to spread out all of our luggage! I highly recommend this hotel! It is also very conveniently located for an easy on/off from I-10!

We have stayed here 3 times now and it is a comfortable and clean place to stop while driving to Tucson. The only problem we have had was other guests being noisy. Other than that, we have always slept well and been pleased with this hotel.

I came to stay the night for Easter and it was great, me and my boyfriend came to spend my t together and it was a great experience for the both of us seeing how friendly the staff were and all the amenities they provided it was incredible

Made the decision to stay in Fort Stockton while attending a wedding that was almost 60 miles away. Good choice! Picking the Best Western Plus was a great choice! It's a newer property, clean, good amenities, friendly staff. They let us check in early so we could get ready for the wedding, and the checkout time was 12 noon instead of the usual 11am. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a large flatscreen TV on wall, safe, and a wonderful kitchenette, complete with stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and a full size refrigerator/freezer. We stayed on 3rd floor, and our room was on the backside of building, which was a good idea to avoid the road noise from the highway. The hot breakfast the next morning was great! So many choices, from eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruits, cereals, and more. You won't be disappointed and you won't go away hungry! Best of all, the rates were very reasonable. We saved substantial bucks by staying here.

This is a new hotel everthing works and the TV is huge! The breakfast is a full one with eggs, bacon, patatoes, beans and slice jalapenos! At check in they have a big bowl of cookies and a big pot of coffee in the lobby!

Great stopping point on way from Tucson to San Antonio. Newer property, about 2-3 years old. Nicely done, pleasant, clean, convenient. Very good breakfast, manager's complimentary light dinner the night we arrived was a nice touch. If you want a room on the same floor as ice machine, don't stay on second floor.

They have early evening offerings. Makes it a nice place to stay. Easy reach from I10. Pleasant staff. Wish all in chain were the same but Halas no. They also had nice breakfast offering. Room was clean and quiet.

The room was very nice and clean. They had a free happy hour (food) and a free breakfast. The pancake machine made perfect pancakes. The full service bar was nice too since we were on motorcycles. Good selection.

One of the nicest hotel rooms we gave stayed in. We stayed in a Kings suite-a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, two televisions and more. None of which we used, but the room was wonderful. So was the staff and breakfast .

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. While it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, the service is fantastic! From the greeting at the front desk to my check out, it was a perfect stay. This is a Best Western Plus which is the higher end property, but no one does it like they do! In the lovely lobby area, they have a "mini market" where you get snacks and small things you may have forgotten, there is a very nice business center, a sitting area with a "fire" going, and in the evening they have "happy hour" where they offer coffee, tea and cookies in the lobby area, and in the dining area they have full on food to eat, all complimentary. There is an indoor pool with a hot tub so you can swim all year around! A welcome treat from lots of driving. There is a nice bar that is open in the evening where you get a drink. The dining room is a nice size and at breakfast hour they have the best selection of breakfast foods I have seen. They offer pancakes AND waffles as well as hot eggs and meat choices, oatmeal or grits, plus many other items too numerous to mention. Another feature I really liked was they have the juice machines open all day so if you want a juice instead of coffee or tea, it is available. The room was really nice and to top it off, they had chocolate mints in the room! There was also a small refrigerator with a coffee maker. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. This is a newer hotel so all the amenities are pretty new. Plenty of parking. There are restaurants nearby and freeway access is easy. If you driving through Fort Stockton and need a place to stay, this is the place! The hospitality they offer is unbeatable! Best of all, they are dog friendly! There is an additional fee for dogs, but they make them feel welcome.

I say it is a hidden gem simply because it is a little difficult to find. Hotel lacks directional signage, but with that said, it was a great stay. The rooms were quiet and the pillows were outstanding not like the crappy pillows you get in most hotels. Plus, the bed did not have 'comforters.' Instead, it had a sheet, blanket, and spread like beds should have. I arrived there on a Saturday night after a 600 mile drive. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the were serving free hot dogs and soup, salad and chips. It was just what I needed, plus they had a bar that served cold draft beer. The only negative thing I saw was that as time wnt on, the food/bar area became filled with friends of the workers. They weren't disruptive, but you could tell that everyone knew each other and were going to stay for a long time.

This is a top notch hotel. Beautiful comfortable room. Our king suite had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The pool was clean and sparkling and warm. The fitness room had excellent equipment. The breakfast included eggs, salsa, beans, onions, tortillas, cheese and other toppings. Fresh cut up fruit was available throughout the evening, as were fresh cookies. The tables had fresh cut roses in vases.

The staff here make my stay away from home a little easier. Santosh and his team go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and important. This is the only hotel I will stay in while in town. The team has set themselves far apart form the rest.

Nice facility, built relatively recently. Somewhat hard to find, according to the GPS but we persevered. Good people, good service, good breakfast, easy check in and check out. Price is reasonable. Will stay again soon.

We had our dog Cosmo with us and appreciated how clean the room was. The hotel is easy to get to and the rooms nice. Quiet. We appreciated the free spaghetti dinner that was served the night we arrived. Not fancy, but it meant we did not have to go to a restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was modest but fine. All in all a good place to spend the night in the middle of nowhere. 8/10

We spent a night here enroute to Big Bend. At walk-in we were treated efficiently and politely. Upon check-in they had "happy hour" - with snacks (something we haven't seen in hotels for awhile), cookies!, and then the following morning not just an average continental breakfast. It included perfectly fried BACON! Out of traveling inexpensively when we are only spending a short time going to our destination - these little things were unexpected in the average price range for that area. The room even had a full sized refrigerator for convenience. It is close to Wal-Mart (not a great Wal-Mart however) for stocking up if traveling into remote areas. Bed was comfortable, room clean....but the employees took it to the better level!

Over a three week trip this was our first night at a BW. A nice modern hotel but the most expensive we used on this trip. It certainly wasn't for the scenery, oil & gas country in West Texas is not that scenic. My service dog didn't care for it because of the ever present "sand spurs" , they had placed a small piece of indoor/outdoor carpet down but she's been trained to 'go' outdoors. We both were happy to get to the next hotel on the trip.

When planning our 18 days southwest tour months ahead I picked Ft. Stockton as a lodging base for a long El Paso - San Antonio stretch. I was shocked with prices I saw for this middle of nowhere town - not only about this hotel, but others also. So, based on similarity in prices and great TA reviews (Nr. 1) I picked this BW. I must admit I expected much more, as for 160 $ a night you get a mid class hotel in Midtown NYC. Instead, you get a quite average hotel, just like any other Holiday Inn Express or Hampton we stayed on our tour for a much lower price. Room is OK spacious with all you need, lobby nice, breakfast standard American. One of the reasons I picked BW was the hot tub - this was disappointing. The water level was low and not as hot as it should be. Another disappointing thing was my daughter left her make up box in a drawer between the beds. I called the hotel from San Antonio tomorrow, explaining the exact place, but apparently they didn't find it. To conclude - it's just an ordinary hotel at an extraordinary high price.

I should have known better when then hotel called early in the day asking if we were still taking the reservation. We were driving and about 3 hours from Fort Stockton. Yes were were staying with them. I asked what interstate exit we should take. The caller was calling from the hotel but didn't know their exit. This was strange as the hotel is right on the interstate.Upon arrival (after our GPS got us to the right exit) the hotel front dest person greeted us with a coughing fit. This was a serious cold, not allergies.Opening the guest room door we were greeted with a behind the TV view of a mess of wires/cables.The electronic connections in the room were from another decade.The floor in our room was chipped. Germs?Some carpet seams in the corridor were open.The guest room doors boomed upon closing. Constant noise throughout the night.The breakfast buffet was pitiful but sadly average for todays traveller.

While going to Big Bend for a week I spent my first night in Fort Stockton at the Best Western before going to the park. Great place to stay! The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was restaurant quality and the staff were outstanding. The rate was excellent for being in the oil field area. Great job in Fort Stockton Best Western. The only negative for you discerning customers was the tile work in the shower. I have done better.

This is a very nice Hotel easily found off the I-10. It ranks at the top compared to the other BW hotels I have stayed in, but is twice as expensive. I always have to take a room with 2 beds and only need 1. It is like the restaurant business, where they served you enough food for 2 people, when you only need enough for 1. I have no complaints except for the price when you are living on a budget.

We were recently stranded for three days due to an auto breakdown in Fort Stockton, TX. Our one night reservation turned into three nights. The hotel manager was extremely sympathetic and honoured our discounted rate for all three nights. The biggest problem wasn't the hotel, but the fact that no mechanics work in Fort S on the weekend ! The final resolution only took 2 hours to get us back on the road. But the hotel and staff at Best Western Plus made the three days pleasant and comfortable.

Traveled during the Christmas holiday so the rate was expectedly very high. We decided to stay here anyway because we had a previous satisfactory stay. As before the bed was comfortable, clean and ample bathroom space. I don't know if all the rooms are the same but we had a full shower with wonderful handrails and a great sliding shower door. I wish all showers had handrails. It is an important safety issue. The desk people were efficient, the breakfast adequate for motel fare. There is not much choice in this little town but it has improved with Best Western.

Although we only spent one night at this relatively brand new hotel, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was decorated very nicely and the bed was very comfortable. Lastly the free breakfast, which is customary for most Best Westerns, was excellent!

This hotel was amazing! After a 12 hour ride from Lousiana, my fiancé and I were exhausted.. the woman at the front desk helped up get checked in so quickly and promtly and upgraged our room for an inconvenience with the third party booking website we booked our room on. The girls name was Kimberly! Thank you so much Kim! You made our stay THAT much better. ALSO GREAT BREAKFAST!

My family of 3 stayed here for one night while driving through Texas. Fort Stockton is a midway point between Austin and El Paso; we wanted a nice place to stay and thought for $172/night this would be a great hotel. Here are some pros and cons of this Best Western: Pros: Friendly staff, mostly clean, good breakfast, free WiFi Cons: Standard small cheap pillows that don't hold form, mold in guest laundry washing machine, dirty mop and mop water left in hallway, our room had the sensor for the remote dangling, which made it challenging to operate TV. Overall...would stay here again, but not for the price.

Traveling though on a long road trip with our three Whippets, needed a dog friendly hotel in Fort Stockton. We usually stay at La Quinta chain due to their great pet policy but heard the one in this town was pretty awful. Decided to go to Best Western instead. Yeah, we did have to pay a $20 fee for the three dogs but that's not too bad considering what other's charge. And after staying here, while we'd love to see this chain cater to the pet traveler, I could not be more happy. First, the hotel is pretty new, in super condition inside and out. Clean, quite and the staff was outstanding in their welcome to human and K9s. We even got three little treat packages with poop bags upon check in. Next, the room was HUGE and had every conceivable goodie. It was a suite and massive with it's own kitchen area. Not that we needed it over night, still super impressive. I'm taking about a FULL refrigerator, microwave, stove top and even a dishwasher. You could spend weeks here. In the same separate room was a massive LCD TV. A 2nd the same size in the bedroom, suite area. The bathroom had all kinds of nice toiletries; see picture of kitchen and bathroom supplied. There's a really nice dog run outside with Synlawn for the dogs to run up and down on and the three Whippets did just that. Fresh cookies in the lobby along with coffee and all the accouterments. There was even a small shopping area with food, frozen items, travel items etc. We actually used the coin laundry room on the 2nd floor and for a mere $3 for wash and dry, the fancy units did a fantastic job. Seems this location thought of everything a traveler would need. VERY impressed. While we'll still aim for La Quinta chain due to the free pet policies, I'd consider BW as an alternative. I didn't think the initial price per night was that high compared to other's in the area. I've heard most hotels in Fort Stockton are expensive but in this case, we got our money's worth. HINT to BW management; go after the pet traveling family, maybe wave the pet fees for ‘members' and I'd sign up and book on all our travel IF your other hotels are anywhere as nice as the one here in Fort Stockton. Only tiny complaint was having to log into the WiFi (is that really necessary these days when such units are out and away from all the other hotels; just a tiny unnecessary inconvenience. But the WiFi is free and it was fast so this is a tiny nit pick.

We stayed here for an overnight recently. After a long day on the road it was a nice surprise to have such a lovely room. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. The hotel was also relatively quiet, not much in the way of hallway noise. Especially appreciated was the fenced off-leash dog area to the side of the hotel. Our two cocker spaniels really enjoyed being able to run after many hours in the car. The breakfast was one of the best we have come across in any hotel offering breakfast as part of the room price. Hot, plenty of choice and a very well maintained clean area. We would definitely stay here again.

There isn't much as I came in from Tuscon on I-10, just long hard driving. Having this experience of lovely comfort was a real treat as I drove from LA to North Carolina. I especially loved the breakfast.

Fort Stockton was a stopover for us for a long distance drive. That seemed to be true of most of the guests because the town itself is quite small. The front desk staff were friendly. Dog-friendly rooms are on the first floor and do not have carpet. They are not elegant but you don't have to worry about your dog getting a carpet muddy. Blankets were available for the dog to use on the chair. The hotel bar was nice with a community feel. Rooms were quite clean. There was a fenced dog area with fake grass. At first I thought that would not be useful but this part of Texas is so dry that real grass parks are not very good for dogs. They have stickers. The breakfast had a wide variety of items.

Traveling from Tucson to San Antonio, Ft Stockton was a long first day but the first BW east on El Paso on I-10 that I found when I was planning our trip. It was a good choice as it was convenient to the freeway as well as local food establishments. As usual this was a very nice store ( BW Plus) with a great staff. We Travel with our small dog and being pet friendly is a must for us. This store had many pet friendly rooms and it appeared as though all were carpet free, which we like. The staff contacted us both by phone and e-mail the morning before we arrived to confirm our arrival and our estimated time of arrival. A nice "customer service" touch. We will stay here again as we travel between AZ and TX.

I have stayed at 4 different hotels in Fort Stockton, and this one is my favorite, although it is not the best in all respects. Hospitality here is better than the others, though, and the breakfast is better, too. The tipping point is this hotel's dog-friendliness. If you love sweets, you will notice and appreciate the fancy candies and cookies at check-in. Our dog even got fancy dog treats!Our room was perfectly clean and did not smell pet-friendly, but it was. Our dog liked the pet blanket they provided for sleeping on the floor. This was our dog's first (and last) time to be left in a hotel room, and he got very upset while we were gone for dinner. The hotel staff retrieved him from our room, left us a note, and he stayed behind the front desk with them having a lovely time until we returned. I felt so guilty, but the staff just very kindly told me what a good dog he is and returned him to me. I learned not to leave him alone in a hotel room, but I also learned how gracious the Best Western staff are. At least one other hotel in Fort Stockton has softer bedspreads and towels, and I have stayed at a fancier hotel in Fort Stockton, but this Best Western exceeded my expectations in ways I needed, yet could not have anticipated.

Bring your own pillow. The pillows are terrible. Other than that it was nice. Beds were comfortable. Location is good....right off the freeway and friendly staff. I guess we would stay here again but would definitely bring our own pillows.

Last week I sold one pillow because one of our guest who has stayed with us a cpl of times insisted that I see her one or she will steal it. I understand pillows are very tricky. Very hard to find perfect one for each guest. And to be honest with you. I carry my own pillow made out of buckwheat husks that contours to my neck and head. Thank you again for your business. Hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. I have stayed here several times before and it has always been a very nice place to be safe and get some good rest. I would definitely recommend this hotel will definitely use again in the near future when traveling through Texas.

This is a good hotel that will work hard to make sure that you're going to enjoy your stay and make sure that everything is taken care of for you. I've stayed here for a long time and any time I did have an issue it was addressed immediately. Their breakfast is good, the rooms are clean, the Wi-fi works as it should and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've stayed in tons of hotels and this one is one of the best. Sometimes the prices seem high, but that's because it's in an oilfield town and demand is usually really high, even so they still provide far better rates than some of the other hotel chains, which in the Permian Basin can be as much as $400/night.

We like Best Westerns and this one is one of the best we've ever stayed in. It's a little more expensive than most Best Westerns, but it's a notch above the rest. Nice lobby, breakfast room and bar area and big rooms with comfy beds and a beautiful bath with walk in show. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. This place is first rate.

easy to find right of I10. many other hotels around it. No nice restaurants close by, but McD is not that far of a drive.own the street. Restaurants not that far of a drive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room comfortable, although I did not care for the "blanket' on the bed. not really a blanket and slippery. I prefer, something fuzzy of fluffy that feel like I have something over me. But that is just me Laundry on second floor $1.50 for wash and for dry, but the dry could have had more time but could only add the whole amount. They said detergent available by the front desk for sale.

First, this is a fantastic hotel, and even if they were not so pet-friendly, they would have gotten a high rating, but their pet-friendly accommodations earn it 5 stars. First, the non-dog part of the review. It was a very nice hotel, nice lobby, friendly staff, clean and very comfortable. They had 5 carts to take luggage to and from the car and the room, so there was no waiting for a person to return a cart. The hotel had a food section in the lobby, so I just bought a frozen dinner there to eat in my room. Even without dogs, I would stay here again. This hotel had 2 things in particular to accommodate guests with dogs. First, they had a very large dog run, which is really nice for me because my girl dog will not poop on a lead. Not only did both my dogs get their business done quickly, but they also enjoyed being offlead for a little bit. My boy dog briefly had the zoomies, and my girl dog just enjoyed sitting and watching everything going on outside. When I next travel this way, I will have to allot more time just to sit in the run with my dogs. They also had really nice poop-bags by the run that made it easier to pick up after the dogs. The other really great thing was that the pet rooms had laminate flooring. In the off chance my dog would have had an accident, it would have been so much easier to clean, and besides, even without dogs, I really prefer laminate flooring, which is why I had all the carpets ripped out of my house and replaced with laminate. I liked this hotel so much that I booked it for my return trip home. I probably should have stopped in Ozona for the night to balance the travel hours, but this hotel really was worth the stay. I will stay here again when traveling west out of Texas and I have already recommended this place to all my dog friends, and I don't freely give out recommendations.

My husband and I stayed at the Fort Stockton, TX. BW for 3 nights. The pool area was clean and nice. The fitness center offered a great choice of equipment. The breakfast area was clean and offered a wide variety of food selections. The room was quiet and the location was easy to get to.

After staying in some less than excellent places on this vacation, it was like a letter from home to stay in this place. A little hard to find (Phone sent me to wrong side of highway) . In addition to a wonderful large room, we also had a sitting room-kitchen the size of a room in some competing cheap places. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed here one en route to Guadalupe Mountains Nat'l Park. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The room also had a very large refrigerator, microwave, HD television, and safe. Wifi was reliable and reasonably fast (~3mb download & ~1mb upload). There was complimentary cookies and fresh popcorn on the first floor. One comment, try to get a room not facing the highway - there a lots of trucks going by. We would stay here again when in Fort Stockton.

Good stopover hotel on way to West Texas, right off highway. Large, comfortable room. Bedding needs improvement. Blanket and towels were not the quality expected of best western plus. Huge television and plenty of us connectors. Staff very professional. Breakfast had many offerings from scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, cereal, etc.

Due to the demand in the Permian area, hotels can charge a premium for rooms. Be aware, that the hotel will charge on your credit card for one night stay around 11 am on the day of your arrival. The reason is too many folks cancel or just drive by without canceling on the day of arrival. So if you decide not to stay, cancel before 11 am!. There is a nice enclosed dog run for those who travel with a pet. The swimming pool in indoors due to the weather (blowing sand), the exercise room is adequate and the rooms are quiet and clean.

If I could stay at any hotel in the entire world this wouldn't be it. But on a cross-country drive after 7 hours in the car through Texas, this hotel was perfectly fine for our needs. It is clean, well-maintained, had a very well-equipped fitness center, and excellent free breakfast.

***Good*** Check in went smoothly, the front desk accommodated a room change, the room was clean and bathroom was mainly clean, but there was discoloration at the seam where the back wall and tub meet. The a/c works well, the WiFi and Ethernet work, the ice bucket is generous sized, and the computer desk chair rolls easily on the carpet. Early morning coffee in the breakfast area from on on-demand coffee maker is hot. Breakfast items are varied, good, and hot. ***Not good*** The only ding is no horizontal grab bar in the shower. This is important to older people. Overall, this hotel is doing everything right and is worth a stay. In fact, other hotels where I have stayed could take lessons from this BWP.

Overall good. We will stay again. We booked on-line after calling to see if the place was pet friendly, it was. Upon arrival we were told our suite was not pet friendly so they booked us in another, smaller room. It was great. There was no way to indicate you have a pet on the on-line booking forms.

This was a truly enjoyable experience. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the staff exceptional. We slept in past breakfast cut off but thought we could beg a cup of coffee. The breakfast attendant told us to help ourselves to anything that was left. How kind! We requested a late checkout-no problem. I will never stay anywhere else in Ft. Stockton.

we have stayed at this hotel many ,many times--on our way to our cabin in Cloudcroft new mexico---it never disappoints--the pool is indoors---and hot tub--which we can swim even in the winter ! Cookies are served in the lobby--also coffee and lemon water--the cookies are very good--and a nice selection---also--great place for dogs !-The beds are comfortable--and the staff so helpful --will stay again--and again !!

We only stayed one night but found the room to be very clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was updated, and the breakfast options were pretty darn good. We couldn't hear any highway noise either. Hotels in this area are expensive due to the high volume of freeway travelers, but we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was the highlight of my trip (as far as hotel rooms went). The most comfortable beds and pillows from Texas to California and back again (therefore the best sleep). The rooms were clean and fresh, The free breakfast was nothing to write home about, but after two weeks on the road, I feel that it was the best we had anywhere. Conveniently located near I10 with relatively easy on and off access. You just have to pay a little bit of attention to make sure you don't end up back on the freeway going the wrong way.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, I knew I had made a great choice in selecting this hotel. It's pricey than the other surrounding hotels, due to the oilfield boom there, but it was worth our stay there. Everything was so clean. The breakfast was delicious with a great assortment to choose from. The staff was very friendly too. Definitely coming back in the future.

I stayed in this hotel for one night while traveling from Phoenix to Houston. It was very nice and pleasant. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. The room has a microwave and fridge, so I just bought a frozen dinner in the lobby and settle in for the night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good and had everything a person could want to get going before a day of travel. I will definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one brief night (got in very late) but were very impressed with both the facilities and the service. Every single employee we encountered went above and beyond to make our visit the best. We really appreciated that they left much of the breakfast food out and available well past noon, since we had a very late start in the morning.

Stayed one night. The check in was flawless and the staff was accommodating. SO many amenities available around the clock. The room was cool and very clean. The king bed was comfy and the room was quiet all night.

Friendly staff and property is very clean. Excellent value. Easy on and off from freeway. Stayed at this property twice and will stay again if the opportunity arises. Hotel was busy both nights we were there and pets are welcome.

To be fair it has been 2 months since our stay so my memory is fading. It is a good stopping point in the middle of no where and clean bed comfortable. Not the most reasonable rate probably because it is a newer hotel and everything feels fresher. Had some trouble getting a Best Western credit to apply but the girl at the desk was persistent until issue was solved. We'd stay there again.

Great hotel! Our room was very clean. The indoor pool was wonderful. Our teenagers worked out in the exercise room and said it was great. The free breakfast buffet was far better than most, with do-it-yourself pancakes & waffles, scrambled eggs, ham, etc.

Excellent service and decent price. They also gave us the veterans discount without requiring a military ID. My husband is a veteran but didn't retire from the military so he no longer has a military ID. Most places will only give you a veteran's discount if you show an ID. We appreciated that they recognized the fact that most veterans are not retired military.

Newer property - has a fabulous dog run! Pool & amenities. We always stay here because they have pet rooms covering the entirety of the first floor. Pecos County is in the midst of an oil production boom, so the place is filled with Oil/gas workers often...which helps to keep the breakfast ALWAYS available @ 0600, every day. Most of the rest of us just travel through, making Ft Stockton the best place to pause on that long stretch of I-10 from El Paso to Kerrville.

I was a bit surprised when I checked in to be greeted by clerks with pierced noses, lips, ears, etc. For a moment I thought I was on the wrong planet. I am not against this sort of thing (to each his own) but in a four star hotel I thought it was a bit much and totally unprofessional. The amenities were very good but the room, 2 queen beds, was small and the air conditioner very loud, on and off all night and kept me awake. In my opinion not worth the money. I have stayed in better places at half the price.

This was a great place to stay on our way to visit Big Bend National Park. Beats the place we stayed in there by a mile. Very clean, comfortable bed, good spa and pool, great all around. The breakfast buffet was top-notch with a wide variety of choice of food from hot eggs, bacon, potatoes and refried beans to cereal both hot and cold. fruit, yogut, bagels, etc. Had a restful night and everything about it was great,

Spent one night here on the way to Big Bend National Park. It was a decent hotel, neat clean and friendly staff. Our room came a couch and lounge area. All the rooms in this part of seems to have a fridge and microwave. Good beds. Breakfast included choice of many staples, juices, fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy with plenty of breads and bakery. Cereals and yogurts and oatmeal. The only issue I had was Apple maps directed me in a round about way through town. Better to access from the exit at I-10.

Good location off I-10 access road. Very good breakfast. Nice fitness room. Hotel is good, but noisy. Insulation is thin because you can hear guests talking in hall and rooms. I was on the second floor.and could hear lots of foot traffic above me. Hotel door to my room let in a lot of light. Solid hotel, but better hotel options on this access road.

The tile work after a repair was as bad as it gets. Made an old motel 6 look good. Tile uneven and grout everywhere. One towel bar had fallen out and a shelf had fallen off as well. The caulk uneven and white caulk everywhere with grey tile. One whole edge of tile was missing

Ft. Stockton is a major jumping off point for a lot of popular attractions to the south and north of I-10. As such there are quite a few hotels and motels in town, including brands perhaps better known than a BW Plus. In that class of hotel this is one of the best locations I've ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable, the room spacious (with thick walls and windows), and the bathroom modern. This is our first choice in Ft. Stockton.

My husband has been working in the area and has been staying here. Myself and our son came down to join him and this place has been wonderful. The staff and management are so amazing. Everyone us so friendly and helpful. This place is so clean and nice. The breakfast and bar area is very nice. Great food. This has a family vibe.

This was a late night last minute stop before getting home the next day. The staff was great. I called from the road and he held the very last room for us. Very nice BW. I always try and stay at BW, especially on motorcycle trips. I like the chain a lot!

This was a very nice hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The prices are a little high, but I think the hotel makes up for it. My only complaint was that the breakfast was not good at all. The eggs and sausage tasted very bad. My girlfriend described it as dog mush.

I just want to let you know that if don't like what you see in the chaffing dish, you can always ask the breakfast lady make a fresh batch. This was a pleasant surprise! Lobby was clean and inviting. The children appreciated the cookies. Elevator was a nice size, no squeezing the cart in. The room was large and clean, well supplied. Needed more towels and they were at door in ten minutes. Beds were comfortable. Good pillows. Pool was clean and large. Pool was advertised as heated and really was. Pool area had a restroom and shower which is nice to rinse off. The breakfast was excellent. The eggs were real eggs and children enjoyed fresh pancakes. The food and selections were good. But the little touches are what make it. Mini marshmallows for cocoa, assorted syrups for pancakes and waffles. In evenings there were cookies, yogurt, granola bars, fruits, nuts, pretzels and assorted drinks available. Staff was pleasant. Will stay again.

We stayed in this hotel as a stop over on our way out to Big Bend. The hotel was pricey, but this was spring break. The room was clean, well decorated. The hotel had a wonderful dog park that was clean, astro turf, and long enough for our dog to run. The hotel provides breakfast.

If you want a super clean, super quiet, comfortable place to stay, this is it! Awesome HOT breakfast with fresh fruit (apples, tangerines, kiwi, and bananas), pancakes and waffles, plus eggs and sausage with all the fixings to make burritos for breakfast! The only negative I can find is that when we checked in we were told the bar would be open for 30 more minutes, and we had just driven 1000 miles and a drink sounded nice. We took our bags to the room and immediately returned to the bar to hear the girl tell us she just shut the bar down. The posted hours still had 30 more mins before closing, which was disappointing, and rather frustrating but the AM breakfast and good nights sleep left us ready for another day on the road.

The excellent reception set the tone for a very good experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was completely booked, yet it was quiet. Check in and out processing was seamless. All hotels are pricey in this town (for some reason), but this hotel delivers value.

Fairly new hotel (1-2 years old) and is clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Free breakfast with may items to choose. Coffee bar and bar for drinks in the evening. It has separate area for dog walk, exercise room and indoor pool/ spa.

Hotels in this area aren't cheap, for a little more than the budget places in Fort Stocken you get a lot more. Nice room (place seems brand new). There is a lounge that was in full swing when we checked in on a Saturday night but you couldn't hear in the room. The hot breakfast decent and much better than the standard waffles and muffins.

SANTOSH VARGHESE (General Manager) has no customer service whatsoever. He has no idea how to manage a hotel. His staff isn't trained to know what services they provide. The lady at the front desk was shocked to know that after 3 yrs of working at this Best Western that the hotel offered dry cleaning to their guests. We dropped off our laundry to get dry cleaned at the front desk the day before. Today we find out that we would not get it back till tomorrow because we didn't stay at our hotel room all day waiting to pay the bill AND it is our fault for having an American Express card on file. The dry cleaning business refused to drop off our clothes until they got paid by the hotel. SANTOSH VARGHESE could care less that we were leaving the next morning and still didn't have our clothes. His solution was: “We will mail your clothes to you”! This man was so unprofessional to talk to. He constantly contradicted what he was saying. His staff is not trained to do their job right. Not to mention, not being aware of how to even do their job. I would never stay in a Best Western or Best Western Plus again after this ordeal with SANTOSH VARGHESE and his customer service and untrained staff.

The desk staff were lovely, friendly and interested. Our room was comfortable and we slept well. There was no restaurant but we were happy to skip dinner. Fresh fruit and snacks were available in the dining room at all times and freshly-baked cookies appeared at about 4 pm, a really nice gesture. Breakfast was more than adequate.

This is the best hotel of the best westerns I've ever stayed in the room was absolutely spotless we were treated like a king and a queen we brought her little dog there are excellent as far as little dogs even have a doggy Robin arm for the breakfast was beyond good and we saw nothing but smile in the face so I can't say good enough about that there is an anything I could possibly complain about to sit down

The hotel staff was Amazing! Breakfast was great and had a bigger selection than expected. Debbie who checked us in and took our reservation by phone was amazing and we will be back at this hotel when passing through because of how clean it was and the amazing customer service.

Safe and accessible location. Facilities relatively new and well taken care of. Room was excellent and bed comfortable. Exceeded our expectations. Pool and fitness area nice. Fenced in lighted dog walk. Enjoyed and highly recommend!

We spent the night at the Best Western Plus...it was a great stay, one of the nicest Best Western's we've stayed at....clean, new, well maintained...friendly, efficient staff...great breakfast with a lot of variety...and clean tables in the dinning room. We couldn't find anything that was wrong with this facility. Thanks to everyone who works there for making our stay so positive! 149 for a king with micro, cooktop, plates, etc and even a dishwasher. Convenient right off I10, good parking, cookies, breakfast, and only a couple of miles from town and local restaurants. Lots of room, very comfy bed, 42 inch flat screen hanging on wall.

Quiet!; Pet Friendly - They have a Puppy Park on Site ($20 for two poodles); Clean; Easy on/off from I-10; Real Meat Breakfast (included) and a Great Assortment of waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, et al. Coffee - very good - needed for that early start. NFC keys for ease of use I would go out of my way to stay here again. We have stayed in Van Horn, Odessa, Midland and this is hands day two cuts above - pardon the cattle reference. And, best of all - no sulfur ./ petroleum smell

The Best Western was nice. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel is conveniently located. The parking lot was well lit and appeared very safe. The pricing was high but in line with the very busy West Texas area due to oil and gas exploration being extremely active in the area.

This is a very nice and newer hotel that is great if you have pets traveling with you. It is easy on easy off the interstate and close to whatever you might need traveling. There is plenty of parking. They provide a nice complimentary breakfast. All in all a very nice stopping place when traveling cross country.

First time staying here and very pleasantly surprised by it. Hotel staff greeted me warmly, encouraged me to help myself to cookies, coffee, detox water, yogurt, juice, fruit and other amenities available all the time. They even bring in a bartender to serve drinks in the evening. Lovely touch after a 9 hour drive with kids.

Very clean. There is a HUGE variety at breakfast with lots of protein options, waffle and pancake makers, and hot food. Coffee, fruit, yogurt, granola bars and snacks are available all day. It has a large, well lit parking lot. The service is outstanding.

This hotel was worth the stop. I can't say enough about all the staff and how helpful they were in all areas. Fitness room, Breakfast and dogs loved the run area. Rooms were spacious and met my families needs.

Ft. Stockton now has a quality dog-friendly hotel for us as we travel from AZ to San Antonio several times a year. The ADA room had excellent accommodations that we needed, as well. The breakfast was also excellent with a variety of good and nutritious items for all appetites.

The staff were very busy, but friendly. The room was clean , and the AC was cold. The bed was clean and comfortable. This place was crazy busy with all the workers from the petro industry, but everybody was friendly and helpful.

On my way through Texas and needed a good place to stay before getting to El Paso this was a Jewel in a very isolated and long stretch. Room was clean, people friendly, Hot shower, great breakfast. Pets are also welcome as there were many well behaved dogs visiting. Parking was good and it had a lot of things close like gas, restaurants, and such.

I Absolutely recommend this place to Everyone. The staff was professional. Breakfast was Delicious. The beds were Extremely comfortable. My family and I will definitely be back. It's worth the Money for sure!!

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Ft Stockton and this BW was average for the area. Everything was clean and neat and the price was very reasonable (especially since they are pet friendly with no extra charge for our dog). The service was very good. The breakfast was standard fare for a self service breakfast.

My family travels from CA to Texas, where we have other family, a couple times a year. Coming from the Bay area fort Stockton is our day two stop. We travel with two dogs, a large German Shepherd and a smaller (45 pounds) mixed breed one. It is so difficult to find hotels that will accept large dogs. This best Western was such a welcome respite after an 11 hour day in the car. The fully fenced-in dog run was a gift to our furry friends who really needed to run and play off leash. They had such a great play sessionand I didn't have to stress about one of my fur babies getting away from me. The room was small for 3 people and 2 dogs, but very manageable. And the best surprise... coffee, really good coffee, at 4am when we checked out. Yes! Really!!! Fresh, hot coffee at 4 am in the area where they have complimentary hot breakfast for all guests. The management of this hotel has it down! So well run and large dog friendly, we will 100% be back!

This Best Western is located in a strip of chain hotels on the outskirts of Ft. Stockton; we stayed there en route to Big Bend National Park from Austin. Our room, in the back on the second floor, was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There's a generously-sized pool and spa area. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety and an attentive server. We can recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

I had booked this Hotel in advance as an overnight stop for my 15 year old Labrador Retriever and myself, during our permanent move to Tucson, Az. It had rained all day, but about 75 miles East of Fort Stockton, the rain turned to sleet and light snow. I was happy to reach the Hotel as I was told at my last gas stop, the weather was supposed to worsen overnight. We were given a comfortable room on the ground floor and one of the girls at the desk helped me to get my dog out of the car and walk to the pet area. Due to her size and age, my Lab has hip dysplasia and moves slowly. During the night, my Lab became wedged under the night table next to the bed and I requested assistance from the front desk to get her up on her feet. Each time I requested assistance for her, one of the staff always helped and were happy to do so. After our first night, due to the amount of snow still on the ground and my car, for our own safety we decided to stay another night. We were graciously extended an extra night and were able to leave the following morning. The helpful assistance from the office/desk staff, along with the extra linens provided by housekeeping, in addition to the warm breakfast each morning, I can't say enough good things about the Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton. The rooms were clean, neat and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to other travelers. It was truly a welcome respite from the grueling day of travel we had experienced on the highway.

Everyone we met there were excellent with friendliness, knowledge and services. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Indoor spa was a real plus after long day on the road. We felt very confident about vehicle security too.

this Hotel will always introduce them selves with pride, smiles and ensure your are satisfied at check in & check out. they explain inform you of all the facilities the have as swimming pool, exercises room which has enough to do any exercise your want to do. Bar is excellent & makes most of anything you ask for as to where the bar tender welcomes with smiles.

Nice place to rest closer to the interstate. Good breakfast, comfortable and clean beds and rooms. Pet friendly with enclosed area to walk/potty the dog. Stopped there twice on way to and from visiting family. Would definitely stay there again.

If your you've been driving for many hours and your suffering from “road weary”, then I suggest you stop at this hotel for a night of good rest. They have room that are pet friendly and many snacks to choose from when you first enter the hotel's lobby.

Staff were all polite and friendly at check in and check out. Breakfast buffet was fresh, hot and plentiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Also perfect for guests traveling with a dog, because the floor in my dog-friendly room was not carpeted. Love the pet-friendly atmosphere, especially the large, well-lighted, clean, fenced area, where it's possible to allow your dog to explore off-leash. I would definitely stay at Best Western Plus Fort Stockton again.

Driving from Tucson to Austin we stopped for the night at the BW Plus. A quite new hotel that is immaculately clean with very kind and helpful staff. If you are traveling with your dog they have a great dog run conveniently located to the side of the hotel. They also have a small bar and a lovely free breakfast in the morning! We would be delighted to stay here again if we were in the area.

It was a great breakfast. The dog run was also great with artificial turf, chain link fence and a gate. After traveling for 6 days it was a nice surprise to have this. I We did find the rate high as the day we checked out it was $60 cheaper. And in the middle of the week

Pretty average hotel but a pleasant oasis in a kinda bleak environment. Nice they accommodate pets with a decent dog run. Room was clean if a bit small. There is some decent food available. Staff is nice and public spaces are attractive and clean. Glad they were there after a LONG drive across Arizona and New Mexico.

The manager was mopping the floor as we pulled up to check in. We were welcomed with a smile and the offer of refreshments. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were the perfect balm after a long day of driving. The rooms are a decent size and beds are comfy. Tissue and toilet paper are a bit harsh so travel with your own if that's important to you! The breakfast is very good from omelets to waffles.

Very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast with staff attendant available and offering assistance. Great front desk clerks. Reasonably priced. Free cookies was a nice added extra. Only our second stay at a Best Western. This hotel caused us to sign up for the rewards program and seek out other Best Westerns on our travels.

Was a great experience which was a surprise being we went online and took what was available at a late date. Will definitely use this one again, thanks to all involved. Out of things to say and so I'll just repeat, Outstanding.

Very new, super clean hotel. Rooms were larger than average hotel sizes. Hotel was quiet, even though pretty full with guests. Beds comfortable. Very pet friendly hotel from front desk personnel to the treats provided. Also has a fenced in dog run with grass turf, which we rated highly since our pets travel long distances with us. Our pets enjoyed running and playing outdoors,as we sat with them eating the coffee and cookies hotel provides. Breakfasts are great, even the pancake maker.

it s readily apparent that when this motel was built a couple years ago they made some good choices. In particular, the room seemed more spacious than most, including bathroom. the motel includes a bar open in evenings, and cookies, coffee, and more available 24 hours. clean, good bed, TV on wall so as to free up cabinet top space, and adequate well-lighted parking. well above average BW+ at the same price point. will return when on same path.

The hotel accommodated me and my dog very well even with a late check in . They have a fenced dog walk which was clean and well maintained. The room was clean and very quite and I was able to get much need rest before continuing my cross country trip.

We were on our way to Belton Texas to deliver daughters things as she just relocated from Phoenix. We arrived 1 hour past midnight and we thought there would be problem with reservation cause we were late and the gentleman at counter stated that everything was fine, checked us right in. The breakfast was good, room very clean, bed comfortable. We will surely stay again.

Used on the way to Big Bend National Park from Midland airport. Not much to do in Fort Stockton so was really a stopping point for us to rest in a nice hotel. South Texas is an interesting place to visit.

This was an overnight stay on our way through the area. We booked last-minute and there happened to be a pet-friendly room which was handicap accessible (we did not need this feature but it was helpful). The room was clean and we loved the tile floor for the dogs. It was quiet and right by a side exit for the dogs. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made some good suggestions. Breakfast was good although the yoghurts were frozen so I mentioned this to the lady who worked there and she gave me two new ones. Our dogs loved the dog run and were pleased to have the AstroTurf so no sand spurs (be careful of these if you take your pets on the regular grass!). The only downside was that the dog run was at the opposite end of the hotel to the pet friendly rooms. My dogs have to go out during the night so we had to make do with the grassy (and sand spur area). As far as the handicap accessible room is concerned, I would like to make a suggestion that there be a bigger shelf in the shower as our toiletries kept falling off the soap dish. That is no good for a disabled person. Also a seat for them to sit on would be good. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you very much!

Overall great service from the check in process to the check out process. Very helpful staff and were very knowledgeable of the area in Ft Stockton. The only issue was the breakfast sitting area was small had to wait to sit since seemed that it was quite busy towards the end of breakfast.

Conveniently located just off the Interstate with fuel stops, restaurants and a Walmart close by, this property offers a pleasant opportunity to rest from travels. The clean room benefits, in my opinion, from having a tile floor. Having all the drains work as designed eliminates the annoyance present when they don't. The hot-and-cold breakfast offers a variety of options and the ample seating area adds to the pleasure of enjoying that meal. The staff is helpful and efficient. The only drawback I experienced was slow internet. Overall, the value is good for your leisure travel dollars.

Going above and beyond...that is this hotel! WOW, just WOW! We have stayed in many, many hotels, including Best Westerns, and this one is so, so accommodating. We had to evacuate from Corpus Christi when Hurricane Harvey was approaching, so we decided to get out of all of the bad weather (which reached FAR inland) and went out to West Texas, Ft. Stockton to be exact. We reserved a pet-friendly room at this hotel. It was very pet-friendly with its hard floors (they had a wood look to them) and not carpeting. All of the pet-friendly rooms were grouped together on the first floor, conveniently located near an exit door. The room itself was very clean and all of the amenities you could want or need. Outside of the hotel, they had a dog run for the dogs complete with little baggies for scooping up their poop! Breakfast was also included with the room, as it always is at Best Western Plus hotels. But, this breakfast was a FULL, multi-choice breakfast and it was very tasty (not just "OK" like more breakfasts are at hotels). It was the best serve-yourself breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The management and the people at the front desk & in the dining room were nothing short of very friendly and helpful. I cannot think of one thing to complain about at this hotel. I give this one my highest marks!

One of the best BW we have ever stayed at. Clean, pretty, very nice staff and great dining/bar area. Rooms are spacious and clean and they have great showers. My only complaint is the hot food was NOT hot.

We normally stay at another property when traveling through but it was full on this date so we stayed at BWPlus. It was a very nice surprise when we arrived and checked in and we will stay here on future trips when possible. They are pet friendly and 60% less expensive for pets than the competitor we had stayed at.

Great hotel. Oh if only all hotels could be line this one. Everything was perfect to make one have a lovely stay. Beds were comfortable in spotless clean rooms. A nice bar to relax in the evening and one of the best breakfasts around. Well done! Best Western Plus will be one of our go to hotels in future if they are all like this one.

If this is the best hotel in Fort Stockton consider another town. Nothing really wrong; just $100 plus for the equivalent of an old Hampton Inn. Had a suite (ha) and two people still could not watch tv except lying in bed. Breakfast was fair; only meat was a little sausage in gravy for biscuits. Scrambled eggs and fried potatoes were luke warm and tired at 7:00am. King bed was very good.

Sorry, we could not provide you with made to order omelettes. We are not equipped with a full kitchen. There is nothing for 100 miles east or west of Fort Stockton and there the towns are very small. So, if you don't have to take I-10 then please take I-20. You will be able to stay in Midland or Odessa. These are bigger town and you have more choices. If you have not already tried, you can try, Fairfield or Holiday inn express in Fort Stockton on your next trip this way. Again, my apologies for meeting your standards. Sincerely, santosh

The best place to stay after a long day on the road. The staff was friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Very clean and modern hotel. We have stayed here twice and plan on staying again when we pass through the area.

The room was very comfortable really liked the tv and all the channels made it easy to veg out after our long drive. The best thing was the astro turf dog run where my dog could actually run and have some fun after being in the car for so long.

Hard to find a hotel with a really handicap accessible room. This hotel was great. No carpeting on floor helped with moving the wheelchair. Beds were low enough to access. Roll in shower greatly appreciated. Will definitely book here for all future visits

Everyone was very helpful and kind. The room was nice. The included breakfast was better than the norm. When we asked for directions, they immediately were able to send us the right way. Customer service is obviously important to the staff.

This hotel had the best breakfast buffet of any Hotel chain we've ever stayed at. Best Belgian-type waffles, pancakes, sausages, fruits, cereals & almost everything you could think of. We'd come back again just for that!

We stop here at least once a month on our business trips to our selenite quarry in New Mexico or our stone mill in Belen, NM. The rooms are really nice, especially with an upgrade to a suite with a full kitchen and fridge. Always ask for the quite side as the noise from IH-10 can be bad at times.

Nice hotel. A little difficult to get to late at night when no knowing where you are. Even my GPS was confused. Room was nice and clean, although towels looked thrown together instead of neatly folded. Breakfast was good and a variety offered.

This note was close to the highway and a great place to layover for our cross country drive. Clean and well maintained. Small problem with the internet but otherwise a great stay. Customer service was excellent.

Rude, combative manager who told me he did not believe my dog was a service dog. The fruit in basket for arriving guests looked old. Room not clean, walls thin allowing noise to penetrate. Breakfast looked unappetizing so did not eat.

Door lock was broken, the pancake maker was broken, the bacon was microwaved, the downstairs men's bathroom had no paper towels, upon departure at 8am there was no one consistently manning the front dest, the Manager's apology came across as mechanical when discussing the critical issue of door not locking properly and offered no assistance when I let him know I now have an issue of securing my luggage during breakfast. Won't be back.

We do not want any of our guest to stay in a room that is not secured. We would have gladly moved you. I am sorry about the pancake machine. We had called in the service but due to flooding issues they did not give us any date when they can come out here to fix it. But we had waffles available. I sincerely apologize for all the inconveniences you had during your stay with us. We were severely short staffed because some of the employees called in as they went to help their relatives. The staff are above excellent! The facility is great, Fenced dog run for you pets to do their business and stretch. I have stayed at more than 50 hotels is the past few months and the staff at this one was by far the best. They were the most friendly and helpful. I was upgraded a room, and that room was perfect. If you stay in Fort Stockton this should be the place.

We had a pleasant overnight stay in this hotel where everthing worked well and service was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was very good, and far better than what is common for this price and type of hotel.

Clean, newer Best Western along I-10. Comfortable bed, good shower, huge breakfast. Our dog got a bag of bacon treats when we checked in. We will be driving this stretch of I-10 often in the next few years and will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding for the value, this hotel is about 2 years old. The complimentary breakfast, including many hot items, is second to none-no joke. There are also freshly baked complimentary cookies (at least four varieties) in the lobby as well as chilled lemon water. The Pecos Roadhouse next door has awesome chicken fried steak, and they deliver to your hotel room! If you dine-in there and show your BW key, they give you 15% off. Really nice and clean place. Great staff, clean room, good shower, all really great.

We enjoyed our overnight here. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. The breakfast ladies were helpful and so good-natured. This has nothing to do with the hotel--but don't eat at the restaurant next door. Seriously.

Driving around the area as we left, I'm glad we went off of the Trip Advisor recommendation (some of the area is kinda sketchy). The employee at check in was nice enough to let me know I was booked in a pet friendly room (didn't want one). They were able to move me and the room was pleasant enough (blankets are scratchy). The crew in the AM at the free breakfast was especially pleasant. Kept everything fresh and was very kind and friendly. A pretty good free breakfast as far as they go with eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, pastries, cereal, cooked oats and actual cut up fresh fruit. They even had granola bars for a quick grab and go. My only complaint is I could hear the freeway noise pretty badly from my room, it's rather consistent all night too. We could also hear others slamming doors throughout the evening (earplugs helped). The workout room was decent, we didn't use the pool but it was indoors and empty each time we looked. All in all a good stay!

We stayed at several best westerns on our road trip with our Grandson... This motel was pretty good... There wasn't enough hot water in the motel. The breakfast was about the same as all the best westerns... sometimes seems a little cold but was ok.. our grandson loved the "free" pens in the rooms.

Went to this hotel because it was relatively new (2 years old) and was pet friendly with a dog area displayed. Bathroom tub was full of mold! Really? Can hotels not understand that is a yuck factor...something so obvious...unbelievable. The dog run is really a strip of fake grass. Try putting a pup on that when temps are around 100...no way. I have been to tother hotels in the desert that had real, watered grass or mulch.

Unfortunately, we won't be removing the artificial turf. As they are easy to wash and keep clean. Also in this part of west Texas we have scorpions and other poisonous critters and also the stickers that get into pet paws etc. The artificial turf prevents these issues. Traveling with 2 dogs and my husband and I. They were all very nice and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. They didn't make you feel unwanted because you had dogs. The breakfast was very good and a lot of it.

The staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was good. What else can you ask for in a hotel? OK, there were 2 comfortable chairs to watch TV, bed was comfy and clean. And the price was a value.

BW was first rate welcoming my husband, our doggie and me. They had a yummy dog treat, wrapped, upon arrival. The location of the pet area was convenient to enter & exit and close proximity to the dog run which was nicely done. We hadn't traveled with the 14 year old dog for a very long time, but it was very pleasant.

Great customer service, thank you!!! Extremely clean and updated rooms. Beds are comfortable and cookies during happy hour are the best. Not to mention the breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff made check in and check out easy. The breakfast is a little better than I expected with tortillas and salsa (no one in my family eats plain scrambled eggs) and with a nice indoor pool this is a nice place to stay with a family. We were passing through on a week long family roadtrip and this was our last night from home and we had a restful stay. The ice machine was broken and the tub drain stopper didn't work, but we take showers anyway so it wasn't a big deal and everything else was clean and in working order.

The only downside to our room was left over food from a past guest left in the refrigerator. If you have pets the accommodation for them is great. The have a dog run which is fenced with AstroTurf. Indoor pool is nice

My family and I loved everything about this hotel! We are heading back to AZ at the end of our family vacation, and this was the third Best Western we've started in on our week long trip. This was the BEST location out of the 3. Spacious, CLEAN rooms with very friendly staff and great amenities! We found ourselves wishing we could have stayed longer just for the heck of it, because the hotel was so nice! Lol. We will definitely be returning next year!

Everything was great...from front desk staff, room, swimming facility, breakfast, snacks in lobby. Room was very comfortable. Whole establishment was clean. Staff was extremely happy & friendly. Would definitely stay again in our travels & would highly recommend.

We stay here regularly on our trips between SD and Houston. Always have a fresh room Staff is always pleasant and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Always a good choice in breakfast items.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! They were polite and welcoming! We would love to stay here again. The rooms were very clean and very up to date. The whole hotel was very nicely updated and clean.

We stayed here overnight on our way across Texas. We were traveling with our dog and were happy to be greeted with dog treats for him and a nice dog park/run area with fake grass. He was happy after traveling in the car, to have a place to run. The room was very nice with plenty of space. The pool and hot tub were very nice as well and breakfast was great with many options for coffee to include latte creamers and numerous waffle toppings. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed twice in a week. Staff was great. Amenities were great. Breakfast was decent. The manager(Santosh Varghese) went above and beyond with regard to his approach to customer service during my stay. I would highly recommend this place.

According to trip advisor reviews the best hotel in Fort Stockton, Tx is the Best Western Plus. This was my first time to stay in Fort Stockton so I cant compare other hotels there but my wife and I were very pleased with so many features of this hotel. Unfortuantely we could only stay one night. The bed was awesome, the room size was spacious. The price was very reasonable Wifi was strong and there was a good selection of TV channels on a very nice sized tv which was actually mounted on the wall making it much more comfortable to watch tv from the bed. The free breakfast was one of the better selections I experienced on the whole 21 day trip. We stayed here to drive to Big Bend the next day(didn't realize how far Big Bend was from Fort Stockton) If we ever go back to Big Bend we will plan on staying at this hotel.

Noisy and old, don't believe in the website pictures as they show a really nice hotel. Rooms are also old and need refurbish. It would be ok if they charged $60 night. Breakfast is ok. The value you get is really poor...

The hotel is easy to navigate. Check in was a breeze. It was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpul. They also have a nice little convenient store type area with some meds and good snacks if you arrive late, or hungry. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Good breakfast too. We will be staying here again.

Fairly new hotel in a small town with friendly and courteous staff who offered suggestions on shopping, dining and site seeing. Employee Noemi, at the front desk, was able to help us with a technical problem which made our entire trip much more pleasant. She is an asset to Best Western.

Any drive through Texas is a days long affair, necessitating a stop, sometimes with only a few choices. This BW hotel is the best in Ft. Stockton or Van Horn. Staff is excellent and always helpful. Rooms are comfortable - everything works. Larger wheeled carts available and easy to use.

We had a great time. Clean rooms, friendly employees, & great breakfast. We will definitely use your services again while on vacation or business trips. I was impressed with the location, the appearance of the hotel and the easy check in process.

Our room was very clean and they had a separate wing for those traveling with pets. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast buffet (included) was very tasty. The hotel parking lot was well-lit and plentiful. The hotel was full the night we were there yet it was quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Selected this hotel due to convenient location right off of the freeway and that there was a restaurant next door. The hotel is well decorated and inviting. The Guest Service Representatives who checked us in on both stays were great and friendly. The free breakfast was great and they also have a lounge. If I am ever back in this area I will definitely stay at this location again.

We made our reservations by cell phone the receptionist was very helpful gave us a room very quick with no delays on helping us out seeing we had been on the road for many hours she explained all the services they have at BW it is very helpful when they take time out and explain all the animities they have for not all hotels have what Best Western has to offer not only did they provide us with more information regarding the restaurant with the 10 per cent that we got for staying at Best Western We highly recommend Best Western

Very clean,good breakfast, would recommend this hotel. Great people working there. I would stay here again. Wifi was good. We stayed one night just passing thru. Price was very good. I had a great experience
