« Average business hotel, walking distance to the old city »

Rooms offer standard comfort. The hotel is walking distance to old city center where you can find restaurants. Breakfast was good. Lunch was less interesting I must say. Wifi didnt work good at all except in the lobby. Would only stay there for business, nothing I would choose for holidays.

    « Good location »

10 min walk to the old city center. Peaceful & quite location. One of the employee in breakfast restaurant was reacting very unfriendly when I was not sure about how to get the coffee machine work. Except that, overally nice stay.

« Great hotel, great location! »

This is an outstanding hotel in a beautiful town. The location is walkable from 2 S-bahn stations, many restaurants, and old-town Esslingen. Unlike the other local hotels, you will find a lobby open and staffed around the clock. Also, has a nice parking garage, better than anything else locally for those who take a car there.

« Nice Hotel 5 min walk from old City Center »

We booked the best western based on central location and good rating in TripAdvisor. We can support all the good ratings. Rooms are very clean, furniture is modern but not extra ordinary (which does not question overall satisfaction !) Breakfast fee is in deed not low level , but you have a broad choice of fresh food ( as well fruits). We definitely enjoyed the service and friendly staff and promise to come back. Every euro worth to spend !!

« Amazing hotel in Esslingen »

We stayed here whilst we were visiting family & were a little sceptical as Best Westerns didn't have the best reputation back at home. However we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were extremely clean, the bed was super comfortable and even had a pillow menu and the room had every amenity one could think of. Will definitely be staying here again when I visit my family in Esslingen.

    « Excellent hotel »

Excellent hotel. In the middle os Esslingen. 600m. from the old town. Comfortable and clean rooms, very friendly staff, excellent restaurant, fast wifi. Great option as a business hotel (or even family trip)

« Great for the lone business warrior »

25 Euros from the airport and nicely located to all the surrounding areas, it's a great hotel to setup camp and go out to customers from. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean and tidy, and the free apple and bottle of water just adds a little customer care that goes a long way. The reception staff are fluent in English and very accommodating, and the taxi I booked was prompt and on time. Eating alone is never fun when away for business but the bar area offers enough separate seating to watch the TV or set your tablet up for a movie. The waiting staff are friendly and appropriately attentive making the experience that more bearable, and the food portions from the "snack" menu are enough to floor an elephant. There is finer dining to be had in the restaurant. A fair price, good rooms, excellent staff, and decent food.

    « It is a n exceptional well run hotel . A perfect experience! »

We love this hotel and return to it every year. It is is pleasant, well run, exception good service and service is perfect. The rooms are comfortable, well decorated and feels like home. The spa is superb.

    « Nice hotel »

Very nice hotel with big rooms. All clean and tidy, friendly service in the restaurant in the evening and nice food and presentation. Breakfast offers everything you would wish for and you can have breakfast also on the terrace, which is very nice. Car is safely parked in the underground garage. Into town it takes you one minute, which is very convenient!

« A very nice, clean and convenient place to stay! »

The location is central and just 5 minutes walking distance to the old city center. It is very quiet and offers a garage to park your car below the hotel. Free WiFi is available everywhere. The rooms are nice, super clean and offer a nice view on the old castle above the city if you have a room towards the garden/backside of the hotel. The service was fantastic, very nice staff. We didn't have a chance to test the restaurant but based on what we saw and how the Bar operates, I guess the food is fine too. Definitely a recommendation for private and business travelers, price level is absolutely okay. We will book again if we are around!

« Good for both business and leisure »

My overall experience is very positive about the hotel. The rooms are clean and quite. The breakfast is very nice. The location of the hotel is also very good for sight seeing on foot. I was traveling with my boss and a colleague. We were all satisfied with our stay. The only negative thing was that the desk boy gave two of us adjoining rooms, which is against the 'unspoken business trip rules.' To which one can not openly object at that moment.

« Great stay for business »

It was a great stay for a busy business week. Very discreet and elegant, and at the same time well presented. Clean, respectfull and great location in the city - just a few steps away from the old center and the restaurants.

    « Nice Hotel »

We stayed three nights in this Hotel, very good atention, nice instalations, excelent food, breakfast delicious and varied. Is at 15 minutes walk from Train station. Antiallergic pillow was provided for our son and they a lotof nice small details that makes the stay there very special. We will come back for sure.

    « A night in Esslingen »

I stayed only one night in Esslingen with 2 colleague and our supplier. The hotel is ok, nice rooms and nice breakfast with different needs. The checkin was very fast and the people of the staff are very nice. In only one night I cannot use all the service of the hotel but it have a good organization I can suggest it.

    « Amazing ! »

Was in Esslingen on a short business trip and this hotel was a nice calm place to spend the evenings when not working, everything was perfect and located right next to the old part of the town center.. I can without any doubt give this hotel my best recommandations..

    « Overpriced!!! »

Totally disappointed. For 150€/night you get: -parking for additional 12€/day -70s style furniture and cabinets -basic/poor breakfast - no pastries, no cakes. "espresso", cappuccino, etc from a automatic machine... Juices from concentrate... -just one mid size towel (German precision of course, one person=one towel) + one big and a bathrobe -no slippers!!!! -all-in-one shampoo and shower gel (wondering whether I can use it for brushing teeth too) -free wi-fi automatically logging out every time you get in and out of the room -basic cosmetics set (e.g. no toothbrush or paste..) -WC cover that hides the flush buttons while you're sit... because the toilet is just about 1,5sqm What you get? -good location -floor heating in the toilet -a bed with one pillow (of course one person=one pillow), the second is hidden in a drawer -two bills for 150+12 EUR per night Maybe I didn't get the "lucky room".

    « decent, comfortable hotel »

A comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and good meeting facilities. Good food. Unfortunately a lousy wifi, which is relevant for a business traveler. And the added benefit is the nice, old city center of Esslingen, dating back many hundred years and offering us now nice restaurants where at attractive prices good food is served.

    « Fantastic, never disappoints. »

I've stayed here many times, always clean always friendly and helpful. Feels like a home away from home. For me, it is the hotel all other hotels are measured against. Esslingen is a beautiful small town with lots to see. Lots of great restaurants.

« Best of all in Esslingen »

The hotel is the best of all in the vicinity, clean, modern, accessible to the city, with parking and free wi-fi at rooms. Nice buffet for breakfast but not applicable for a 5 star hotel. I enjoyed my business trip (10 days) at this hotel, however I didn't actually like the food, i chose out door restaurants which were nearby. There area is so cool, and the hotel is 10 min. Walk away from the shopping center. Keep in mind that almost all shops are closed by 8pm! The only problem with the hotel is that the staff know a little English which could make it a bit difficult to communicate (expect the reception)

    « Comfortable week »

Another stay in this good hotel, clean warm comfortable and the service is always first rate. An ideal stop over on any Business or pleasure trip, just on the edge of this fantastic medieval town the rooms are a good size well equipped and well serviced

    « Best Western - Best Choice »

It was a one night visit in Esslingen. The service was very polite, my room (witch is located in the second floor) was pretty quiet and comfortable not the last, very tidy. The breakfast was tasty and wide ranged. I hope next time i will spend more time at them. Recommended :)

    « TOP in Esslingen »

This is the best hotel in Esslingen, particularly for business trips. Large and comfortable rooms with everything you need, the restroom is perfect. Very clean. The breakfast is one of the best I found during my travels!

    « Great all-round hotel »

We stayed here last night while we were in town for the Christmas Markets. A great location for the market and the suite was a really good size. Beautiful lobby/bar area. Downsides: very limited parking available. The worst creme brûlée I've ever eaten in my life - actually, it was inedible. The lights in the suite - although the bedroom & living room were able to be separated by a curtain, one light switch controlled both lights. So it was either all on or all off which is pretty silly.

    « A well situated modern hotel. »

This modern chain hotel is well situated on the edge of the attractive old town. We recently spent two nights there while visiting the Christmas markets. It is not our usual type of hotel as we prefer family run places with a bit of character but this was good of its type and we had a reasonably priced package. The public areas are clean and spacious and when we visited were beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. Reception staff and those in the bar and restaurant were all friendly and helpful. Our room on the third floor was a good size and nicely furnished with a desk and seating area. It overlooked the main road and we could hear traffic nose most of the night even with the Wi down closed. Those on the other side have better views over the old town and castle and would no doubt be quieter. The lighting was a bit subdued; I would have liked a brighter light by the desk for working and by the bed for reading. The bathroom was bright and well equipped, with a decent bath (not quite full size), bathrobe and toiletries. Ours either didn't have an extractor fan or it didn't work which was a definite minus for this hotel. The breakfast was excellent on both days with a good variety of well prepared food and really pleasant staff. The leisure facilities were closed at the time of our visit so I cannot comment on them. I would be happy to stay here if ever in this area again.

    « Nice hotel. »

A very nice hotel. Nice clean rooms, and good service. Extraordinary good breakfast. Polite and serviceminded staff. Hotel well situated in center of town, several nice restuarants nearby. Good recomandations from hotel staff.

    « Near city center »

Good hotel near Esslingen Marktplatz. Good parking garage. Executive room larger with working table. Clean room and overall facilities. Breakfast good (seperate fee). Friendly staff. On Sundays brunch is available.

« Rooms are too hot »

It is the only business hotel worthy of the name in Esslingen. Fine in all respects except sleep quality. Regardless of season, the rooms are suffocatingly hot. Had the heat off and the window tilted open, took the comforter out of the duvet and just used the duvet. Still too hot.

    « Average 4 Star Hotel »

This hotel has great potential, spacious and tidy rooms. Location is also good. However, the friendly staff was quite slow during breakfast, lunch and check-out. Offering only 30 min extra when I asked for a late check-out didn't help much either. Towels were also not changed even on the 3rd day even though I put them on the floor...staff just hung them again! Overall an average 4 Star Hotel in my opinion.

« Great hotel in Esslingen »

If you travel to Esslingen, this is the hotel we would recommend. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms spacious, the hotel very clean, the breakfast buffet exceptional, there is underground parking and the hotel is centrally located.

    « Very Good »

I stayed here on business for four nights. The staff were very helpful and polite and the hotel was always clean and tidy. My room was on the first floor and very nice it was too. No air con although I visited in early Autumn so it wasn't a problem but be aware in the Summer. Quiet too. Complimentary water and fruit were provided each day which was a nice touch. The pillows were pretty poor and mainly bags of air. The duvet for a double bed also didn't cover the bed. Maybe a German thing for single travellers as all my colleagues had the same issue? I had a bath/shower which was fine for my needs. I used the restaurant on the first night and the food was very good although they refused to serve us dessert as the restaurant closed at 10pm even though we'd been in there since about 8.45pm. Overall a very good hotel and would happily stay there again! Com

    « Family at a wedding »

Primarily stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding, however the hotel was great. Staff very helpful, particularly as we didn't speak German, and were great at dealing with the extra requirements of a 2 year old! Nice modern hotel, just a shame there was no pool.

« Best hotel in Esslingen »

Best hotel by far in Esslingen. Rooms are large and clean. Bathrooms are likewise clean with the usual amenities. Located on the outside of downtown Esslingen, but walking to distance to many restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Parking garage located in the basement is available for a fee. Breakfast buffet (which was included in my rate) is excellent, consisting of traditional German fare (meat, cheese, etc.), fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, misc. bread, pretzels, fruit juice, etc. etc. WiFi in the rooms was a bit spotty for me. I ended up needing to plug the Ethernet cable going into their WiFi switch directly into my laptop because the WiFi kept going in and out. I also came in August this time and the rates were relatively low (compared to other times of the year).

    « Overall very nice »

A good hotel with a large room (with a bathtub, not a shower cabin) and a very comfortable bed. I slept like a baby. The wireless internet connection is faster than expected and free of charge. On the down side, it got pretty cold at night and the heating was central (they did not switch it on and there is no AC, at least in my room). Other than that, there's a wellness area, which includes free entries to the fitness room. It does not have weights (just cardio machines and a multi purpose machine) and lacks air conditioning, which means that after 15 mins of running i ran out of oxigen (small area AND next to the sauna - even less oxigen!). For enjoying a beer, there's a terrace on the 5th floor, which was closed due to bad weather, i suppose. Extra costs: If you use a car, you have to pay for parking, and the breakfast is 16 ? per person...
