Best Western Premier Garden Hotel Entebbe

Love the decor at this very comfortable hotel. After check-in, finding the room is an interesting scavenger hunt. The art, sculptures, furniture and overall design is modern and well chosen. Friendly staff and great views. The mall is a nice touch.

We booked this hotel weeks in advance. We arrived at 7:30pm after traveling all day and were told that our room was not ready, to come back in an hour. We arrived back at 9:30pm and were told the room STILL WAS NOT READY. Finally at 9:45pm we were allowed to check in. We went up to our room to shower and relax only to find there were NO towels in the room. Called down to the front desk, waited 30 minutes and still no towels. We had to go down to the front desk to get them ourselves. This is the second bad experiecne we've had at this hotel. We didn't review the first time because we thought it was just an off day. But we will not be returning to this hotel.

Nice hotel, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Amazing grounds around the pool. Location beside Victoria Mall makes for convenient and relaxing stay in Entebbe. The staff at the restaurant, front desk, concierge and pool side are phenomenal. The chef makes a great tandoori chicken! Special thanks to the staff members Brian, Kevin, Ritah, Caroline, Faridah, Esther and Veronica who helped provide my family and I with an enjoyable stay. See you again sometime! Dennis

The usual hotel that i stay in for my annual work trip. I love it for the location. Just at victoria mall, you can get anything you need at the mall. The rooms, facilities and breakfast are good value for money. Still the best for the location

The rooms are great and I love the fact that it is located on a shopping mall. In addition the CBD is a stone throw away. The only thing I did not like is the room TV channels. They have too many Indian and local TV channels that one can hardly watch. And the sport channels are very few, something that I love watching during my free time. I live for sports! I want to particularly single out a waiter at breakfast called Esther and a house keeper called Sandra who are fantastic in providing services to guests.

There was lots that I loved about this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the location is great (attached to the mall and opposite the craft centre). The food was very good, the rooms were stylish and well equipped (excellent hot shower, wifi, TV, hairdryer, balcony) and the complimentary airport transfer was much appreciated. I had chosen this hotel principally for its swimming pool which was beautiful. But I discovered that this is also used by locals at weekends. There were various soundboxes (all competing to be the loudest!), and children and groups jumping in and being very noisy. This felt like a public pool, not a hotel pool, and not a place where hotel guests can relax. I have no problem with locals using the pool, but feel that Best Western should maintain the standards displayed in the hotel. I was also unlucky to not sleep well due to a great deal of noise until after 1am from guests in the corridor/lobby, I assume from a late night in the bar.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel & very happy we stayed here. The rooms were comfortable & clean with a good shower. The WiFi was extremely fast & the staff were helpful & arranged transport to the airport. You walk out the door straight into Victoria Mall. Whilst I didn't think I wanted to go to the mall it was great to get to a supermarket & to get a nice drink in the cafe. Recommend.

Excellent rooms, customer care and meals including the Ugandan delicacies of traditionally cooked mashed banana and plantain. The Wi-Fi connectivity excellent, well-equipped gym, sauna etc. This is a place you will not regrets spending a night or two. It is also within a beautiful shopping mall.

The ambience is good. The employees are rude. The waitresses are loud at the counter. The managers are not helpful. I work from here once a week and am officially disappointed. Its really sad to see such a beautiful space not managed well. The sizing up for guests needs to stop

Our room (104) is an executive queen and everything is comfortable and very clean. We checked in late at night and out experience at the desk was optimal. The restaurant is 24 hours and our meal at midnight was amazing! Lunch was outstanding too. The Indian dishes remind me of New Deli and even dishes like the Spaghetti Bolognese and Mushroom soup had a little extra something that made them stand out. I don't know how things were in the past but something really good is happening when straight forward dishes are made with creativity and the special something that happens when a chef loves his work! We will be back next week and we can't wait

Airport Convenience and Business is the best- Entebbe is better planned than Kampala so an early airport Exit is vital to catch your Flight- staff and service exceptional and good to stay 15 minutes to your international flight.

The hotel is Clean and Nice and close to all the amenities. downstairs there is small mall where you can get everything you need. The only weird thing about the hotel is that the rooms face the town not the Botanical garden and Lake Victoria otherwise the rooms are great with AC, ceiling showers, fridge, smart tv and great internet connection. I will book again.

Received excellent reception. The hotel offers excellent amenities, meals. The staff in all departments are welcoming staff. I had forgotten one of may belongings and the staff called me after 1 hour to inform me to pick it up!!!

For overall hotel quality is quite ok but breakfast buffet is quite unsatified, not many choice of menu and no added food if it run of it. Attitude of some hotel staff need to be improved. Room security need be paid attention.

Great hotel, close to the airport and walking distance to the Mall and the Entebbe Botanical Garden. Friendly and efficient staff at reception. Tasty dishes at dinner and a sumpteous breakfast. Waiters and billing was not so great, rather slow, one could see the are not well trained but were friendly too. It was extremely hot in the bar, due to no aircon. One has to go around the hotel to the pool area. Rooms are well equipped.

This is a very nice hotel close to the airport and located at Victoria Mall. The breakfast is very good. The only complaint is checkout. They need to find a better method of checking for incidentals upon leaving, instead of always having to wait for them to find someone to check the room.

My wife and I have always loved staying here. An oasis of luxury in a third world country. Very reasonably priced and the location is perfect. Always treated like a VIP. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

I had a satisfying experience, from the airport pick, to the friendly staff at the reception, restaurant and other amenities. Besides the excellent rooms (clean, modern finish and well aerated), the hotel serves authentic food, whether local or international cuisine. The warm, welcoming and friendly staff make your stay amazing. I remember gentleman who picked me up from the airport (very friendly young chap), and two ladies at the restaurant every morning - they served me like a King. The experience was overwhelming (in the best terms possible).

I love the clean room, working AC, working hot shower, working internet, and quiet. Cappuccino is pretty great. I love staying here after a long day of travel. I always crash here because it's convenient to get to (with airport shuttle)

The Best Western in Entebbe was a great place to stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the restaurant had good food at good prices. The location is also ideal as it is a short walk to the botanical gardens and to Lake Victoria. There is a supermarket in Victoria mall which is really handy. Highly recommended.

This is a home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay. The reception was great. The waitresses were very nice especially Ritah and Farida. Such experience was very nice . I will love to go there again.

Best Western Hotel remains one of my preferred hotels in Entebbe mainly because of customer service. Right from the reception, to the restaurant, housekeeping and the Gym, everyone makes you feel you are at the right place. For the lover of gym and exercise in general, try their Gym (Fusion). Very helpful instructors....Ronnie and Cedric, amazing team! Their conference facilities are well equipped with modern facilities to ensure your meetings/workshops/conferences are well facilitated, including hybrid facilitation. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting for Business and leisure, anytime.

Very clean guest focused Hotel. The restaurant exceeded all expectations! All employees were extremely helpful. Farida in the restaurant knew what I wanted for breakfast everyday and it was there before I asked

Good location near to mall and airport. But All balconies overlook busy and fume filled main road so unusable Security on front door but door direct to mall adjacent to our room had no security. This door opposite cinema on 1st floor of mall, adjacent to toilets was open, left on the latch all the time, so anyone free to enter corridor by our room without being challenged. Awoken early each morning by door banging, noisy footsteps, loud voices. Also music playing in corridor and further loud music from hotel bar. Would not return.

15 minutes from Entebbe airport. Good mall and restaurants nearby. Shuttle was available and came quickly. Front desk was helpful but I thought the rate was a bit high. I am planning on using again the next time I come to uganda.

I have tried a few hotels in Entebbe but have found the BWP convenient and comfortable for those early morning arrivals and departures from Entebbe. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and are nice and quiet. The single banked corridors means there is not too much traffic on each floor - ask for a room away from the elevator. The breakfast is decent, and the staff are friendly and proactive (at least when I was there). They are also accommodating.

No drinks available by the pool, apparently staff too busy serving conference customers Main bar service so slow we'd have been quicker walking to the supermarket a disappointment compared to our first stay here

The hotel has people-friendly staff who are warm and welcoming, right from the security officers at the entrance. They make you feel at home. They have a well equipped, and a swimming pool for recreational purposes.

Lovely hotel, nice rooms, great service! Pool side is very good for parties and entertainent. Food was excellent, friendly staff. Had a good time! Will definitely be coming back soon to enjoy more the hotel!

Beautiful hotel next to Victoria Mall. Clean rooms, good food and perfect service. Lovely pool side with an outdoor kitchen and bar. Mall is just next door with access to a supermarket, cinema and plenty of shops.

We were warmly welcomed by all we encountered starting with Robert who greeted us at the airport and shuttled us to the hotel, to all of the receptionists, restaurant servers, and housekeeping staff. We truly felt welcomed. The hotel itself offers a comfortable bed, nice bathroom amenities, great hot water pressure in the shower, an excellent restaurant, and a quiet atmosphere. The hotel was sparkling clean and there are lovely flowers everywhere. The hotel adjoins a small modern shopping mall where you can even find a KFC restaurant if you are missing familiar food. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel where it was a served buffet with on letters to order. There was a large variety of hot foods. I enjoyed my fresh fruits and cappuccino as well. I highly recommend this hotel and plan on returning here next week.

The Best Western Premier is a cut above the normal Best Western in the US. Check in was a little confusing but the rest of the time was very enjoyable. The facilities are very nice and the rooms are very clean and 4 star. I especially love the showers! All the staff was very nice and accommodating.

It was my first time being a guest at this Hotel and considering the fact that my purpose of stay was business, I must say it was a wonderful experience. Internet connectivity was strong, guest room appearance and arrangement was first class. Food menu was appetizing, cafeteria and hospitality services were excellent.

At 3 to 4 times the price we always pay for a hotel in Uganda, Best Western was by far the most expensive, but even by far the best room we stayed. Comparble with Dutch business hotels, serene, calm, pleasant and refreshing with an extremely pleasant swimming pool experience

We asked for a quiet room and got a room next to the public toilets in the mall (There is an entrance to the mall from the hotel). Literally, toilets were like five meters from our room. People were coming and going, and I think some of them got lost in our corridor as well. Room was very worn out and not so clean. The balcony was very dusty and dirty. Next day we had to ask for towels many times. Be prepared that the breakfast is not like European style. It was very heavy with potatoes etc. It was not very handy to ask for every item at the counter. You had to jump up and down all the time and go to the counter to order everything. If this was because of the Covid, it didn't work well…The lady at the reception was bored and not so friendly. The outdoor pool was nice and deep enough. Also, the free airport transfer was working well. There is a beautiful botanical garden near this hotel, which is worth visiting and a good Café/restaurant with nice drinks (they don't serve alcohol) in the mall.

everything clean, lovely staff, good and abundant food. Breakfast included, Walking distance to Lake Victoria and the Botanical Gardens. Very convenient to the airport. Grocery shopping very near by, in hosuse good restaurant and convenient to other restaurants.

We went to the Garden Hotel for our anniversary weekend. The room was clean, well equipped and everything was working well. We had a baby and so they put a cot in the room and also decorated the bed with petals to help the anniverary celebrations. The pool is a great addition to the hotel for non business stays and the gym, although basic, all worked well, although without air-conditioning you sweat a bit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast. It is not to the standard of other "International Chain" hotels in which we have stayed in Uganda with a limited range and a served buffet, which I did not like... and was slow! So, thanks for a good stay, but just get the breakfast more user friendly and all will be great.

I have enjoyed my stay at western premier garden hotel Entebbe, particularly super net and comfortable hotel rooms . the view is also astonishing , u can enjoy the lake Victoria across and I found it amazing .

Staff was all very welcoming, helpful. Appreciated being able to have our COVID testing right at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Showers are refreshing. Price was reasonable I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

practical stay at Best Western Premier Garden Hotel, where everything is within your reach, fancy rooms with high standards! breakfast wasn't that much tasty. The bathroom and shower are great, where hot water is always available with high pressure.

Stayed at this hotel during a recent tour of Uganda. We stayed a total of 7 days on three separate occasions. So experienced in three rooms. All the rooms were clean, with great beds, good bathrooms with hot, powerful showers. The pool area backs onto the botanical gardens and is lovely with great sunbeds, there are clean changing rooms with showers and a gym available. I like being so close to the shopping centre for access to ATM and banking. Great stay if I was to visit Entebbe again I would stay at this hotel. Moses the manager is so helpful, thank you for a great stay. Also the shuttle bus to and from the airport is free.

BW Entebbe is a great location to begin your trip to Uganda. Close to the airport with 24 hour shuttle service. Hotel is clean and well managed. Staff is professional and friendly. Restaurant onsite with breakfast buffet in the morning, coffee is great! Hotel also has a very comfortable bar area for that evening drink with that special someone.

Best Western Premier Garden Hotel is always my place of safe refuge, comfort and peace of mind in Entebbe. They have almost all the conveniences and support that a traveler would need while passing through this city. Ms Chystel and Mr Moses at the front desk are always very accommodating as well as their group of chauffeurs.

The hotel has a great ambience & warm reception. The customer care is great; Pamella & Moses made me feel at home. The security personnel at the entrance were very professional. COVID-19 SOPs were adhered to. I will definitely visit again.

We loved the rooms, the shower and the cleanliness. Save for the bad TV channels which were not child friendly let alone variety for adults. I give the room a 9/10. Pool and the coach are 10/10. The staff are quite polite and receptive. The downside was the food, total disaster. The Christmas breakfast and lunch no good, not child favorable. No green veges, please improve upon the cooking and set variety for festivities Atleast. You have such a nice hotel, great location, humble staff but disappointing food. Also your staff are good but could be better with more training. Our only stress factor was the bad cooking. Staff are 7/10. Food 2/10. Expand on what you offer at breakfast and lunch buffet.

We came from US to join our brothers wedding held at best western premier entebbe. I and my wife stayed there But the location of the hotel is excellent. Those staff who worked on our wedding ceremony we interacted with were very courteous,professional and helpful. The rooms were clean,corridoes were clean too and well lighted. The breakfast was nicest,hot food served in clean covered containers and good variety of breakfast. The beds were so very confortable. We will come back next year for more experiences.

The rooms are very clean and restuarant staffs are helpful. Not to mention but Carol the hostess was so wonderful. Breakfast was very nice and organised. Swimming pool is on standard and jacob the pool attendant was so kind and polite. The location next to the shopping mall was an added advantage. The Best Western Garden Hotel is very close to EBB airport. We felt much secured and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Hotel and room were very clean. Beautiful and quiet pool area behind the hotel.

The hotel is very well run, clean and close to the airport. It is also adjacent to several shops and restaurants. We had to schedule a very early morning shuttle and it was early and had coffee available.

This is my second stay. It was more better stay this time because I was upgraded from basic rook booking to Junior suite. Hotel having specious room with elegantly furnished to give nice ambience. Food dishes are delicious . Staff and services are excellent

Stayed in this hotel during my visit to Uganda. This place is excellent, I was very much worried about the security challenges when I travel to African country. But this place is like my own home. It is within the Victoria mall shopping complex, very safe and secure. People are very friendly and highly professional. The large swimming pool at the backside of the hotel is the best place to enjoy. There is nothing to worry about in this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. And I will definitely recommend to my friends. All the best to the management and thank you for making my stay very enjoyable and memorable.

We stayed at the Best Western Premier Garden Hotel on the first and last day of our Uganda safari. It's near the airport making it a great place to rest and relax pre or post safari. There's a swimming pool, gym and nice cozy bar. The staff are amazing with great service. Upon request, a Covid test was arranged and results delivered in a short notice. The hotel looks very new, clean and it's an international branded hotel. They offered a continental breakfast which was exceptional and we can't wait to be back again. We highly recommend this hotel in Entebbe to our family and friends and all who are planning to visit the Peal of Africa.

Very nice hotel close to the airport in the same building as Victoria Mall. 24/7 restaurant with excellent quality of food and service. Spacious rooms, fast WiFi, everything is clean. For me the best place to stay on each arrival to Uganda

Had an excellent stay at Best Western Premier Garden Hotel Entebbe. Friendly staff. The rooms are superb n their food excellent. Their airport pick-up was early n the drivers professional. The victoria mall is a minute away so you can shop for a few utilities. My stay was short n sweet... Hoping to come back sooner.

The personal attention was refreshing, it also took a short time to get our meals in the room well past midnight plus the welcome message on screen in the room with my name was thoughtful. Responsiveness was also on point even to the extent of a person at the lift.

Very clean Room and quiet Location: in city center (near everything) One lady from Philippines she is very kind and Professional performance. I will return to Best Western if ever we need to overnight in Entebbe again.

I was meant to stay just one night at the Best Western Premier Garden Hotel after traveling some 40 hours from the USA to Uganda. I had such a great experience that I decided to stay for 4 days. I arrived at the hotel after a very long travel from the US at around 7am. Knowing that check-in was not until later, I did not expect to find a room. However, the staff at reception immediately checked me in & welcomed my early arrival. The staff were incredible, from security at arrival to Timothy, the bellman, who helped me with my excessive luggage. Esther at the bar and at breakfast was attentive and more. The room and the hotel were spotless. Daily spraying and sanitizing were observed. The food and room service were amazing and all at great prices. I can't wait to go back to Entebbe and to visit the BW Premier Garden Hotel at Entebbe again.

We needed an overnight before we met our team in Uganda. I looked at the Marriott but noticed the Best Western got better reviews and was less expensive. From the time we were picked up at the airport to our check-out, everything was handled professionally and expeditiously. They upgraded our room to a junior suite which was a treat. Quality of the room furnishings was surprisingly nice. Location next to the Victoria Mall was a plus. It's also surprisingly near a beach on Lake Victoria. Only disappointments were the food and the location of the pool - just not as nice as everything else. We will return to Best Western if ever we need to overnight in Entebbe again.

The location of the hotel is easily accessible and services generally good. The room are good and clean all the time with stable internet. The staff are courteous and appealing always ready to help the guests with a smile. The meals are generally great and with a variety to offer. I liked the variety of food offered during the breakfast and the lunch especially the fish in g.nuts and the chicken wings.

I was very happy with the services offered.I was collected at the airport without having to wait,checked in promptly and all of my requests and issues were met and dealt with. Checkng out and departing was also a procedure without any problems. My only gripe is that the gym facilities close at 5pm and duebto my work,I returned after that time and couldn't use the facilities.

Beautiful hotel, in a secured area next to many amenities (Victoria Mall, pharmacy, liquor store, KFC, cafe, etc). Ambiance is lovely at the hotel. The restaurant, food and service is very, very nice and professional. Bedroom was very modern, clean, and cozy. Loved the view of the sunset from the balcony. The only thing I would hope for is that the television be powered separately from the lighting in the unit. When you exit the room all the power goes out, which is great I love the eco-friendly (and cost saving) concept, however food will go bad in the fridge if you're away for an extended amount of time.

LOVED THIS HOTEL AND WOULD ONLY STAY HERE IN FUTURE. Next to the mall where there's a supermarket, airtel mobile shop, ATMs, a couple of eating places. Very near the Safari Lab that does PCRs etc, near to the airport where they offer complimentary shuttles to the airport. Food was v good , great breakfast and good coffee. Fantastic club sandwich. Nice size room and good pillows. Quiet. There is a pool. Loved the concierge and the general staff. Good price too

Currently staying at this hotel in Entebbe for a week. Staff are welcoming, friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff have to wear masks because of covid measures so there is a smiling photo of them at reception- what a lovely touch. The hotel is absolutely spotless. Everywhere is constantly sanitized, including every table in the restaurant between guests. There is a varied menu and the food is lovely. What we found most surprising is the hotel's own swimming pool. It is their best kept secret and not even mentioned in the description on booking.com. Set in beautiful gardens at the rear of the property, the pool is large and very clean. Very comfortable sun loungers and canopies. The on duty staff bring you a sun bed cushion and pool towel upon your arrival. Drinks and meals can be ordered and served poolside. We have been here 5 days now and cannot find any fault with the hotel at all. Highly recommended. There is also a shopping mall right next door.

What sets this hotel apart is that the staff really does care about their guests. We stayed here twice during our time in Uganda - upon arrival in the country, and at the end of our stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The shower is relaxing, with hot water and great water pressure. Toothbrushes and water bottles are provided, as well as shampoo, lotion, and body wash. The towels are large and plush. We enjoyed a hot breakfast before our long drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Pancakes and omelets are just some of the choices - along with toast, potatoes, etc. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner before we left - yummy, satisfying pizza and tasty ice cream for dessert. The location of the hotel is great - 15 minutes from the airport, across the street from a local market with souvenir items, and next to the "mall" (I use this term loosely!) with a grocery store and a small restaurant. Chrystel was a star - calm, professional, helpful, friendly. She also is attentive and truly listens to guests. The driver was incredibly kind and safe - he went out of his way to provide great service! And finally, a big thank you to Amil - guest satisfaction is his priority and it shows. Overall, the Best Western is a great place to stay in Entebbe!

We are so grateful for this hotel. With the added COVID test on entry it was impossible to know when we would be released from testing. The Best Western was amazing. We emailed before we landed and they even agreed to allow a child to stay on an extra bed for a $25 fee. We called when we landed and told them we were testing and would call as soon as done. We tested at 1:30am and had results at 4am. They picked us up immediately and we were at the hotel by 4:20 including them driving there, picking up our luggage, and driving us to the hotel. It is super close. Maybe 5 min. We were greeted by a very professional staff! We were so exhausted and they already had the extra bed ready in the room and check in was fast. They let us check out late the next day so we could sleep longer. They also allowed us to eat breakfast late since we were arriving so late. The shower rainshower head was amazing and the bathroom/toiletries were great. They had shampoo, shower gel, lotion, toothbrush/tiny toothpaste. The water was good and hot. The air conditioning was plenty cold. Beds were comfortable and WiFi worked great. Fast forward a week later and we decided to rent a room before leaving while we waited for our covid test for flying out. We tested at Victoria medical center through test end fly in Entebbe. It was about 3 min away from the hotel. Very convenient! The Victoria mall is connected to the hotel and we had a fabulous lunch at cafe java. They also have a forex and at least 3 atms so very convenient! Across the street was the craft market and we were able to buy some very reasonable souvenirs. They allowed us to rent one room for our family since we were not staying to sleep, but instead using it for about 9 hrs for the day. It was so nice to be able to shower before our long flight. The most amazing thing was when we arrived our teenage daughter had fractured her ankle during the week. They saw her struggling to hobble along and found a wheel chair for her to use during her stay to go eat lunch etc. We were able to pay the Victoria medical clinic to purchase crutches in Kampala and have them driven to the best western later in the day. We were also able to pay 1,000 per page to print our covid tests for flying. Then we were able to use the shuttle to get the airport! Well done! Super stay. Incredibly friendly and professional people all at a fair price! I know where I'm staying in Entebbe!

Our business trip to Uganda started with a surprise: the BW Premier Garden has much more to offer than what's visible on the website: it has a fantastic swimming pool (20 - 25 meters long) and is in the same building as the Victoria Mall where you can find everything (MTN, FOREX, ATM, pharmacy, Shoprite supermarket und much more). The restaurant is open 24 hours and has a very good quality of food. Talking about services: all of the staff are very friendly and assist whenever you need something. In COVID-times important: you can ask at the reception for calling a doctor to take the PCR-test - within a few hours (minimum 6 hours, we got it after 11 hours) the result will be sent to the reception. Very nice rooms, very clean, quiet, big bathrooms. The Botanical Gardens entrance is 200m from the hotel, very nice for a walk. The transfer from the Airport is done in 15 minutes. A fantastic hotel to stay - not only for one night.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights to avoid U.K. mandatory quarantine as I had returned from DRC. I was offered a junior suite at a great price and took it. The room was clean and well maintained, the spa was immaculate along with a fully equipped gymnasium and the food at the restaurant was awesome, thanks to the chefs for great tasting food that was well presented. Location is in a high security area and the Victoria mall is 30 seconds walk without leaving the secure compound. This will definitely be on my return list if I'm forced to do so to avoid the U.K. quarantine scheme. I'd rather relax properly. All the staff I met were polite and courteous and assisted to every need.

We stayed here on the evening of arrival before we left to go on Safari. The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is available in all areas of the hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The food is nice and the restaurant is available 24 hours. The hotel is close to the airport and next to a modern shopping mall. I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers looking for somewhere to stay before their Safari or trek.

From the time I arrived, I was given a king's welcome and treated in kind. The room was beautiful and the service complimented the beauty of the room. I will recommend this hotel to all who visits' that part of the world!!!!

he rooms are very comfortable however except for the multi-toilet rooms that are like a pool, gym it is necessary to walk great distances. For example, the gym is not in the hotel but in the shopping center next to the hotel, the pool is hundreds of meters away. The hotel is clean and the staff is courteous. Any request not in the book but routine for those who are in the sand a lot, will encounter the inflexibility of the management, everything is immediately translated into money. Relatively new management that brought down the fun of being in this hotel

All staff of this hotel are professional and I want to be grateful specifically with Akello Carol Hostess, she was very kind, polite and always with a smile for us. I have 2 complaint with this hotel: 1-the reception works too slow. I saw only 1 person working when several customers (2 or 3) were waiting to be attended, they aren't decisive. 2-the restaurant takes 1 hour to serve your meal and I consider is too much.

A pleasant 3 night stay. Staff were welcoming and professional. Breakfast menu could do with more choice and lunch buffet. Dinner a la carte very good. Ample car parking and safe environment. A good experience by and large.

Communication prior to arrival was extremely good and all the requests were satisfied. Despite the late arrival a big team was waiting from the concierge, receptionist, luggage carrier, etc. Location is a big bonus for the hotel as it's near the airport and has a mall connected to it. Despite current restrictions in Uganda concerning COVID-19, I believe the breakfast could and should provide more and better choices. In a country where fruits are readily available with high quality, the hotel should also offer it in quality and diversity.

Wonderful! I stay here often it's my go to hotel when I come to Entebbe for work. I didn't think I would be in country end of 2020 but last minute trip and of course it did not disappoint. Everyone is so friendly and helpful I absolutely feel like I'm at home. Thanks again guys for always accommodating me with excellence especially in Covid times.

Excellent facility, great service and welcoming staff. A definite place to be for relaxation, the facility is close to shopping centre, which is a plus, however the facility should have variety on their TV channels

Big and clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly and supportive crew. also the business center served me very well and the Wi-Fi reception is excellent. Highly recommended since that i visited during the COVID 19 era, i couldn't use the pool, sauna and other facilities, but i"m sure that they are well treated

The hotel is just 10 minutes drive from Entebbe airport, perfectly located near the mall and close to the lake. The hotel is super clean and cozy, very nice and helpful staff, and a really great restaurant! I Enjoyed my stay very much and would be glad to return.

The hotel provided everything we could have needed. Staff was super efficient, friendly and obliging. Nothing was too much for them and even when we requested thing outside of their norm they gladly assisted with a smile.

Best Western Premier Hotel in Entebbe, Uganda offers the best services and support during my mandatory quarantine days in Uganda. The staff are helpful and have assisted me even in collecting my delayed luggage, following up our checks and swab testing with Ministry of Health, and even ease in checking in and out. The support staff ensured also that I was taken cared of with the meals being delivered on time and provided clean linens and towels and collected trash regularly to maintain clean rooms. The amenities are very good. Access to wifi is very good and strong and allowed me to do my work while on quarantine like hosting meetings and even facilitating trainings without interruptions. A big thank you again to BW hotel and I highly recommend this hotel to those who are planning to visit Uganda very soon.

The staff was very friendly. I had requested pick up at the airport and it worked well. Room was clean. I had to leave early the next day and was offered to have a packed breakfast and/or coffee. I didn't take the offer but really appreciated it.

I spent a total of 7 nights at Best Western Premier Garden Hotel in February 2020. Location of hotel is excellent. Close to airport and local attractions. Also, modern mall is within walking distance of hotel. Hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Has as all the modern amenities. Comfortable bed and very nice bedding. Food is amazingly good (both local and traditional cuisine). Enough cannot be said about management (Aleena), receptionist (Helen), waiting staff and cleaning staff. All work together to provide their guest with an amazing stay. Looking forward to my next stay. Would not stay anywhere else.

I have stayed at many local Entebbe hotels for business. They are quaint, but many things, elctrical outlets, chairs, showers, do not work. At the Best Western eveything works to the stadards we expect in the USA. Hot showers, fresh towles, and the best internet speed anywhere I have stayed in Uganda.

Premier is accessible as it sits next to a highway to the airport. It neighbours a number of facilities including shopping area. the services therein are good: clean room, clean showers and toilet facilities. For my room the key improvement was the need for a bigger bed. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay!

I use to stay in this hotel regularly and I am very satisfied. Particularly nice is that staff knows me by name and is always very helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean with fridge and a big bathroom. Shower provides hot water all the time, WLAN is fast as well. The little business centre is a very good service as well as a scanner / copy machine / printer are provided. Restaurant and room service, breakfast and food in general: Very nice. Only the white wine can be improved;-). It is very nice as well that the hotel is located within a shopping mall. A back door can be used to access a gym for free, but also Shoprite, other shops and the nice Java Coffee. 10 min drive to the airport - perfect for transit stays. Close to the Botanical garden and the lake which invites for running.

The hotel has the best amenities I have seen in Entebbe. It is also very accessible to a mall for any of your needs like options for dining, food, even movie nights. The internet access is superb and I always go to this hotel if I need to attend business meetings remotely.

The first allocated room had non-functional air conditioning, probably due to a French window that could not be closed. The second bedroom, the safe could never be opened, therefore unusable, the air conditioning works but the evaporation of water from the exchanger flows into the bedroom... Stayed a few nights before heading back with hubby and twin toddlers. We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Overall excellent service. All were nice and eager to help. Hotel felt safe, I liked seeing the police on duty at night. Felt real safe. The food was ok, suite was real spacious and clean. This hotel has no mosquitoes! Great work guys!

I stayed here for one night before embarking on my gorilla trek in Bwindi. The room was very clean, the staff extremely friendly and accommodating (I had to be picked up rather late from the airport), and the room service was the most affordable meal I've ever had. The location is excellent too- the hotel is connected to a shopping mall with a fantastic cafe, as well as a grocery store for bottled water and fun food souvenirs. I highly recommend staying here!

I had one of those days where you arrive in Entebbe by late morning and leave to fly our at midnight. Typical of Uganda. In the past I had stayed at a different hotel and decided to stay here. It was a welcome adventure. This hotel offered a good meal for a reasonable price and a comfortable room, also competitively priced. The hotel shuttle picked me up prompted and returned my to the airport, and this was included in the cost of the room. The staff was courteous and the rooms and common areas are clean. The hotel is gated and secure. It would be safe for male or female travelers who are alone.

The staff were very friendly and offered an excellent service. They responded promptly and helpfully to any concerns we raised. The room was clean and of a good size and we enjoyed the balcony. There was a great range of food options on offer at breakfast and it tasted good too! The bar was a nice place to hang out and relax. The hotel offers value for money and good service in abundance.

We were picked up by the shuttle service from the airport. Great hotel and guest services was quick to check us in after a late night flight. The restaurant is open 24 hours so we were able to get a hotel meal in the middle of the night. Nice clean, spacious rooms with hot shower.

I had to stay 2 nights since my luggage did not come in. the staff at the front desk, at the door, at the concierge desk were very accommodating and kind. the rooms alre always clean and it is refreshing to be in such a nice environment.

From the staff to the western showers, this place is wonderful. Comfortable beds, clean room, fairly quick room service, kind staff, free shuttle to the airport - you name it, this place has it. On this trip we figured out it is just a short walk to Lake Victoria, where there is a great pizza place on the shore of the lake. A nice way to spend the afternoon before heading to the airport for the long flight home.

Great hotel in Entebee. Arrived late at night from the hotel. Front desk had everything ready. Breakfast, included, was excellent. Beds were as to be expected but everything was clean and in working order. Internet was excellent. Staff was exceptional. Will make this my permanent stop when coming into this beautiful country.

The trip to Entebbe, Uganda was so enjoyable. We were warmly received at the airport and taken to the hotel where we had our training/meeting. The only problem was that the van that brought was to the hotel premises was so small compared to the number of the people. We had to squeeze ourselves to fit in the seats. .

This is a good place to stay if you are in Entebbe. The rooms are nicely laid out, clean, with excellent service. There is a shopping mall in the same building so it is really convenient to shop and get a nice cappuccino.

The room was wonderfully done and the hotel thought of everything one would need if they ended up staying here without planning e.g. iron and ironing board in every room, cell phone charges for every kind of phone, a bathroom kit containing toothbrush, toothpaste, comb etc and finally the breakfast was wonderful!

Since I was there for business trip, at the last day of the trip on 31 Oct 2019 we were asked to moved other hotel so, it would have been better if we were allowed to stay at the hotel on 31 Oct 2019.

We only spent one night here after travelling down from volunteering in Kampala. It was lovely to sleep in a very comfortable bed, air conditioned room with hot water to wash with! The hotel is a high standard as you would expect from Best Western, staff were extremely helpful - they facilitated: an early check in; arranged a last minute boat trip on Lake Vistoria; stored our luggage safely for a late flight and transfer to the air port 4 hours later. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

Best Western hotel is one of the best hotels in Entebbe with good service, very clean rooms with fast internet. It is easily accessible since it is on Entebbe - Kampala highway and the workers at the hotel make you feel welcome.

This is my second stay at the hotel, and I found the quality of the facilities, friendliness and engagement of the staff, and the professional and proffiecient provision of services to be superb. The proximity of the Victoria Mall, within the same compound, is an added advantage. I highly recommend the hotel to travellers.

Whenever I enter this hotel it is like I am in another world. The staff, service and decor take me to another place. The location is perfect. Right in the mall for all your needs and across from the craft market. I love how spacious and comfortable the rooms are. I just wish they had tubes.;)

My wife and I stayed at this property for a short one night stay when we arrived to Uganda. We were pleased with our experience and would certainly stay again. The shuttle was waiting for us to the airport and we arrived to the hotel a little after midnight. Chystel at the front desk knew our names at arrival and processed our paperwork in the blink of an eye since she could tell that we'd been in route for 26 hours. We ordered room service which arrived promptly and was delicious. The restaurant team the next morning was very attentive and we were back out of the door at 7 am. Although our stay was brief, I wanted to thank the property for the hospitality. It was our first time to Entebbe at it was slighly disorienting to find the right place for our first night. I'm glad that we stayed with the BW Premier Garden Hotel.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Best Western in Entebbe. This is the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed at by far. The room was comfortable and clean. It is in a great location next to the mall which has an ATM and a nice place to eat. You can also easily walk to the botanical gardens on Lake Victoria which has great trees, monkey and excellent birding down by the water. They have an excellent breakfast spread as well.

We stayed at the Best Western after a last minute change of location. It is a brilliant hotel. Warm welcome, beautiful rooms and a very comfortable bed. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the room turn down service was excellent. I have extensive food allergies and I needn't have worried at all. The food was great and the breakfast buffet was extensive. The location of being in Victoria Mall was brilliant as we could then go out in the evening for a stroll and change money if required. Thank you and I cannot wait for my return visit.

I enjoyed my stay, very accessible to almost anything you may want, there is a cinema, a supermarket, a drug store, a bank, a forex bureau and a fast food restaurant all under one roof. Makes life super easy!

Great staff who are attentive and very helpful! I was able to leave two bags of luggage while away trekking gorillas with no issue at all. Nice room. If able please check out the first floor art - they have a wonderful textured painting of an elephant “coming out of a wall” - gorgeous!! Rooms are spacious and great for working as well as leisure. Staff are great. Check in was very quick and as well as check out. Breakfast- the hotel offers variety and free variety when it comes to coffee.

This was my first ever visit to Uganda and Entebbe. Airport is about 15 minutes away and the hotel has a free shuttle. Check in was quick. Every staff member I encountered was cordial and professional. The room was clean, tidy, and secure. Each room has a balcony with nice 2-seat patio furniture. In-room safe was stuck in "locked-out" position, but I didn't bother to call to fix. The meal I had (Muchomo, with goat meat) was cooked to perfection and was incredibly yummy! Beer, normally a ripoff at hotels, were a little over 2 bucks a piece. Victoria Mall is attached to the hotel and this makes for incredibly convenient shopping! The only negative to this entire experience was that my room (113) is in the hallway connecting the hotel to the mall and there is an incredible amount of foot traffic; annoying when trying to sleep. There is a full supermarket with fresh food, snacks, beer, wine, liquor, a take-out cafe, etc. KFC and a few other restaurants are there as well, but I highly recommend the hotel's food. There is a small market directly across the street where local women sell their wares and souvenirs/trinkets. It is safe and an easy 2 minute walk. Really cool stuff there, so cheap! I would DEFINITELY come and stay here again.

It's a beautiful hotel in a good location. The rooms are nice and they provide a free shuttle to the airport. Someone on the staff was a little rude to a local friend I had meet me there before going to dinner. She did not have ID with her so they would not let her up to my room. I understand that, but they could have at least called me to let me know she was there. If it was not for that, I would have given the hotel an Excellent rating

I am back to this excellent hotel on a business trip. The hotel maintains its quality in terms of good service, great food, nice rooms, and comfortable beds. The only drawback is that the hotel orientation does not have a view of the lake.

Lovey hotel, conveniently situated with the Botanical gardens just a 5 min walk. Good for the airport and close to a range of great eating places on the shores of Lake Victoria. Access to the new highway into Kampala in a few mins. Rooms great and service v good.

Excellent hotel accommodations. The hotel offers universal converters as part of the outlets in each room. Well prepared breakfast buffet or you can ordered something other. Breakfast meal accommodates travelers who are on different time zones. Not just the typical breakfast meal but food that one would order for lunch or dinner. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating of guests needs. Located next to Victoria Mall.

We have stayed here in years past and knew what to expect. There is a lot to like about this property: First, it is just minutes from the airport, and the hotel has a shuttle available. Our flight arrived at around 4 AM, and there was the driver, waiting for us as soon as we exited the terminal. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the ac was really nice to have. We slept easily each night in our 2-floor room. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Our wifi connection was a always strong. The breakfast was excellent. I also have to give a special commendation to the Executive Chef, Kumar. We asked for a dinner of Indian food for a party of 11. He worked with me on the menu items, was eager to do it, and he presented us with an absolutely outstanding meal of authentic, delicious Indian cuisine, which included appetizers, 3 or 4 main dishes, 3 types of naan, and more. He and his staff were incredible. The hotel is connected to The Victoria Mall, which has a supermarket, lots of shops, and a very good restaurant that serves quality food and coffee. I recommend this property if you want a more Western type of hotel, with all the comforts of home.

I stayed here one night and it was very accommodating. Breakfast was included with the stay. We came in on a late flight and arrived st the hotel around 11pm. The restaurant serves 24 hours a day. The room had good wifi that was included.

Just got to the hotel and the service was great. The people here were so friendly. The smell and ambiance was perfect of what you want a hotel to smell like... Fresh and revitalizing. I leaved in a presidential suit room and it was as shown on the Best Western Premier Garden Hotel website. The experience was excellent. The hotel has services that are up to date and meets the customer level expectations. The staff members are very helpful and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to family, friends and other people. From a scale of 1 to 10: I would give the hotel and staff members a scale of 10.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and i must say i loved it. the room is very comfortable and clean, they provide almost everything a guest might need including toothbrush and paste, flat iron etc. the internet was also good and the meals wonderful. Thank you to the management and staff of the hotel.

I stayed here a very short time (arrived around 12am-7am). I really enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and nice. There was a nice balcony with table and chairs. I did not get to enjoy the shower (my cell phone alarm failed to go off in time) but my co-travelers said the shower was amazing...the optional water from the ceiling felt like rain. I especially appreciated the variety of charging cables available next to my bed. It is located a short drive from the airport.

The rooms and amenities were most appeasing. I found the room clean and comfortable especially the bed. I would have preferred a better working chair though since business trips usually require working late in the room

This was our second stay here. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and efficient. Breakfast is ample, and delicious. Location is gated and very secure, with a mall inside the perimeter and local shops across the street. With the airport only a 10 minute drive this was a perfect place to end our vacation.

Overall a very nice, friendly hotel, great service and location (in a mall, close to lakeside and botanical gardens) with good standard rooms. Staff were very attentive and friendly. My only criticism is the gym which was in bad order and quite dirty...very different from the rest of the hotel which is clean and well-maintained.

We started out our 3 week tour of east Africa here. After arriving in Entebbe around 10 PM (after 20+ hours of travel from the US), we just wanted to stay in Entebbe. This was a good choice as it was nice and quiet. The hotel itself is brand new. Clean and modern with nice rooms. Wanted air conditioning so we could be comfortable as we got over the jet lag. Stayed for 2 nights and felt great when we started our safari. There is a shopping mall literally directly next door with a very nice grocery store if you want to stock up on supplies. Restaurant in the hotel had a great breakfast and we had a very nice dinner one night out on their patio. Great value for the money. The hotel is also about a 5 minute walk from the Entebbe Botanical Gardens which is definitely worth a visit. Overall highly recommended.

i recently stayed 2 nights at this hotel with my boyfriend when we first arrived in Uganda. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy. We wanted a nice place to stay after our 20 hour flight in to the country. The location is ideal, right next to a shopping center which we were able to go to and get some groceries. There is a very nice botanical gardens located a few min walk down the block which was great for us to do on our day when we were settling in.

We had a complicated reservation including different nights, different arrival times, twin rooms, single rooms, etc. We had the best experience!! Efficient to deal with via email. The hotel is great. The staff understand customer service. Great showers - lots of pressure. Restaurant - breakfast is plentiful, cappuccin is fab. We will be back 100%

The hotel was good, comfortable for a 2 night stay with easy access to the Victoria Mall. The staff are in need for training which I believe being an international train BestWestern is striving in achieving this. Compared to the service levels in Uganda, they are very good.

Arrived late in the evening. Was quoted a price, I found in cheaper on booking.com and they matched the price. The room was as expected for this type of hotel. What made it great was the staff. Stephen the concierge, and their designated taxi driver Ricky made my stay as a female traveller much more comfortable.

The room was convenient, the bathroom was decent. The restaurant, lobby and surroundings were however not reaching the expectations that one would have from such a prices hotel. The staff was nice but poorly trained and dressed.

The hotel is in a very good secure location about 10 minutes drive from Entebbe airport, and next door to the good facilities within Victoria Mall, including a bank, pharmacy and supermarket. Great place to stay if arriving off a late at night flight as one does not need to travel the 45 minutes into Kampala city.There is excellent security around the property making one feel very safe.The surrounding area is quiet with no traffic noise. At time of reviewing ( Feb 2019 ) a large swimming pool/spa is being completed. I was met at reception on arrival by friendly and efficient staff who made me feel very much at home, and my luggage taken to my room by Henry, one of the concierge staff, with a welcoming chat. The large room was very much up to good European standards, with large comfortable bed and good quality linen and towels, walk in shower with good supply of hot water and pressure. Television with BBC World News and other channels, A/C, and a nice large terrace with table and chairs. All facilities were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of food, including fresh fruits individually prepared omelettes and good Ugandan fresh coffee all enjoyed in nice surroundings, and there is a terrace area to dine in also.The deal was offered at a very good price, and I was very comfortable here, so I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel, or recommending it to others visiting Uganda.

We stayed one night at the hotel transferring between camps. It was a clean hotel in the city center of Entebbe. Entebbe itself was really nice and worth exploring by foot. The hotel was a good change after staying in camps for some time. It is clean and has all typical Best Western amenities. It was good to get cleaned-up and sorted once again. Also, we had lunch at the hotel's restaurant, which was good, with a wide range of food options. Additionally, we booked a massage with the hotel. The hotel didn't have their own spa as it turned out, so they take you to the Vicotoria hotel. All worked well, you just need to organize your driver back to the hotel - but the Victoria was very helpful and probably a good hotel alternative to look at.

The location is very good..right adjoining the Victoria mall which has cinemas, shoprite store for daily needs, café java in the Victoria mall is great food and value for money. Airport pick up and drop facility free. rooms are clean but small but okay.

We stayed on a pit stop to Tanzania. Last week we stayed at Protea and I think this hotel is a bit better...more updated and right beside Victoria Mall. The restaurant is pretty good. It is close to the airport. I'd stay here again if back in Entebbe for a stop.

Two nights as stopovers and had such a wonderful experience. The Victoria mall is just a minute away. Rooms are very clean. Very Impressive establishment. We checked in quite late at night and were famished. The onsite restaurant was open with a selective menu. Which was truly better than nothing at all.

This is the second time our group has selected this hotel to host a meeting with international visitors, and we remain impressed by the quality of the venue, the staff, and the service. Truly outstanding -- clean, comfortable rooms, with professional and responsive service at every level. It is just that. Hype is good but truth always shows itself in good time. So we had a serious meeting here and had pretty some communications to do - Email danced itself but never sent a message. TV never showed anything despite hotel staff coming over several times. You just sympathise how a business could be so careless in this era of online global commentary and evaluation. I did inform the front desk staff that i will make this review today when i reach my next destination, Thats what i had to do.

After a month travelling through Africa this last night before our departure was really lovely. A modern secure clean hotel. Water was provided in the rooms. Beds were comfortable snd large with crisp white sheets. Spacious room with a balcony and with lots of space to sort out our suitcases before departure and a free regular shuttle to Entebbe airport on demand. The journey was about 10 minutes to the airport. You do sit in a bit of a queue to get through to the airport. Checkin and check out were speedy. The bathroom was spacious and the free standing shower good and hot. The hotel is attached to a small mall with some cashpoint machines and a large supermarket. Next door is a superb bakery. The breakfast at the hotel was small and basic but adequate. They did however offer cappucino and espresso coffee which we enjoyed. All in all a really good hotel and I would happily recommend it and stay here again.

When you have an arrival or a departure from Entebbe will this hotel located in a mall be an alternative because close to the airport. Very clean and safe. Possibility to have a drink at the bar. Booked on Hotels.com and paid in advance. No issues with check in at all. This property is just amazing. The best hotel to stay at while in Entebbe. The service is above par and the rooms are what Westerns would expect. Service at the bar (The Ark) and the restaurant were very good. You have to go through a metal detector just to get inside the doors to reception, but this is common for many places in Uganda/East Africa. There is a Forex exchange less than 100 yards connected to the Victoria Mall along with a supermarket and other stores.

If you are in Entebbe for work then the BW Garden Inn is your best option. It's only a 10 minute drive from the airport and located right next to the well-known Victoria Mall which has everything you could ever need. The hotel itself is modern, clean and well laid out. The rooms are comfortable and well designed for work travelers. I was very impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Make sure you book their swift and free airport shuttle service. Great value!

I've stayed at the Best Western several times on business with my company, the rooms comfortable and clean. The service is some of the best I've ever had, all the employees are friendly and professional. The property is always clean and my room is cleaned perfectly everyday, I would like to thank two employees that did super job and represented very well, Veronica in housekeeping informed of all the amenities available at the hotel which was very helpful, and Ritah a server at the restaurant, I was interested in local cuisine she was very informative and helpedtttvj. me make some delicious selections that I would have missed without her help. These are two examples of why I will alway recommend the Best Western Premier Garden Hotel as the best place to stay in Entebbe.

Best Western Premier is located right next to Victoria Mall, which makes it very convinient for shopping and eating. Its also within walking distance to the lake and some nice beachfront restaurants. So, locationwise is perfect. The hotel itself is really good, nice rooms, decent breakfast and friendly staff. When I arrived in Entebbe, my luggage stayed behind, so I had to go back to the airport the next day to pick it up. The reception arranged the driver to drive me to the airport, where he patiently waited for me to pick up my luggage (it took like 45mins) and then drive me back to the hotel. Excellent service!

This hotel is first class with a high level or service. It is well-equipped and has all the amenities you would expect from Best Western. However I witnessed an instance when a non-resident guest left without paying the bill. The waitress was distraught because apparently it is Best Western policy at the Garden Hotel to make the staff pay for losses incurred in this way. Appalling, prejudiced behaviour as this event was completely outside her control. Time to man up and apply Western standards to your Best Premier hotels ... !!!

Our organization selected the Premier Garden Hotel to host a four-day meeting with 15 international visitors, and every facet of our stay was perfect. The guest rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, and the conference facilities and services are outstanding. All the meals we ate in the dining room were great, and there's a generous breakfast buffet. Most impressive is the quality of the management and staff — extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is not a resort destination, but it's next door to the botanical gardens and close to the airport. Great place to stay in Entebbe.

One of the best hotel in Entebbe with high level of service and amenities. The rooms are big, classic, modern and equipped with advanced technology system. Breakfast is just perfect. Restaurant is very good with friendly staff and amazing food. Couldn't explore much of the hotel as I was always out for meetings. But it is definitely a good choice either for business or family time.

It was a great stay after a long international flight. They offer a free shuttle that was waiting for us. It's close to the airport. Rooms large, modern and clean. Most of all nice and quiet. The free breakfast was large, nothing bad to write if you just want a place to sleep.

Garden Hotel is conveniently located, close to Entebbe airport and near the main road to Ruanda. Rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. A Westerner is especially impressed by the fresh fruits at breakfast, better than at home :)

I had a very enjoyable experience at the Best Western Premier Garden Hotel in Entebbe. The staff were all attentive and helpful. I had a nice room, and everything worked as expected. I'd recommend travelers to make reservations ahead of time; I was charged a high rate as a walk-in.

We chose Best Western as a pit stop and place to sleep before our short Safari in Murchison Falls. I have to say, we wanted to extend our stay, but since everything was planned we couldn't. Prior to our visit I had an email correspondence with Pamella (through Expedia.com) which was informative, and we also arranged airport pickup. As agreed, staff from the hotel was waiting for us - and the pickup was complimentary. A security guard and a metal detector met us at the entrance. A good thing for sure, but I question the thoroughness. We all went through the detector and the guard went over our backpack rather fast. Our luggage was carried inside by the staff. They didn't check them. So, if I wanted I could have brought some scary stuff inside. Anyway, it's better than nothing. The receptionist was very kind, especially Pamella. Very helpful! We got a juicy welcome drink while we waited for our room to be ready - which didn't take long. The staff both took us the the rooms and carried the luggage (I must honestly say that I don't like them taking the luggage, because I'm fully capable of doing it myself. But they want to help, so I won't protest). We didn't tip the staff that showed us the room, because we weren't sure what and if. But we gave the hotel 50000 shilling when we left, which is around $13,5. Our room was located on the west side, with view of the road. If you are staying for a longer time and want view, you can always ask for a room on the opposite side, with view of Victoria lake and the garden. Room was spacious, clean and welcoming and so was the bathroom. Room have AC which worked very well. All of us slept very good. As most hotel, it's well equipped and you probably won't miss anything. The location of the hotel is close to a small shopping mall, with KFC, cinema, atm, pharmacy and with among others. A grocery store is also soon to be open. We had to leave at 6am, and we were told that the hotel could give us breakfast to go if we had to leave before the main breakfast started (which is 6.30 am, if I'm not mistaken). But instead of giving us a packed breakfast they actually opened the servings at 5.30. We thought they only had a small selection, but as we could tell the was the big deal. Continental breakfast (order different kinds of eggs) bread, yoghurt, croissant, juice and more. Wifi was ok. We did easy surfing and some texting. Worked fine. Didn't test the speed, but I don't think you can stream, so be sure to download anything you want or need to watch. All in all, very good and awesome stay!

The hotel is located at Victoria Mall hence very convenient for those looking for affordable eateries such as KFC,Cafe Javas or planning to end their evening by watching a movie at the local cinema. Despite being located in mall, the rooms are surprisingly tranquil and comfortable. The gym and meeting rooms are located within the mall(outside the hotel) meaning one has to exit the hotel to access them. It's worth noting that the hotel is quite close to Entebbe airport approximately 15-20 minute drive. As I was there during a business trip, it was quite frustrating not being able to access Microsoft services such as MS Office 365 from my laptop and also their business center.

The rooms are very well designed, spacious, wardrobe, fridge, TV, safe deposit box, iron, space to store suitcase and ample space on the desk; all amenities provided. The bathroom is equally spacious, especially the shower, compliments to the architect and the owner of the hotel. The restaurant is open 24hrs enabling early breakfast with an extensive choice. The service staff at breakfast is very friendly and attentive. A big advantage of the location is the adjacent mall with a foreign exchange office, Java Café, shops, cinema, and fast food. All in all the perfect place to stay after a long flight or up-country trip. The only shortcomings refer to the staff at the reception desk or possibly the hotel policy. I booked the hotel via expedia for my 1st stay and hotel.com for my 2nd stay and within 1 week twice experienced that the airport pick up did not take place. When I arrived from abroad I had the written confirmation that the hotel would pick me up at the airport, however, despite waiting and searching for the Best Western staff, there was nobody at the airport. After searching for a person holding a Best Western sign for 10 minutes and inquiring with persons holding the signs of other hotels without success, I took a taxi and when I arrived at the hotel I was told that the driver were still waiting for me at the airport. To make sure that the airport pickup will be organized for my next arrival 6 days later I requested the reception staff to take notes of my arrival time and flight number. It was in vain, again there was no Best Western staff at the airport to pick me up, again I reached the hotel by taxi, and at the reception were the same ladies with whom I had agreed on the airport pickup. They did not even try to find an excuse nor did they apologize. And I noticed that some guests get a welcome drink at the reception and others don't, probably depends on the type of booking. The internet is not that fast as announced. However, my downgrading of this hotel is caused by the irresponsibility of the reception staff or possibly the managements order not to provide the airport pickup for guests with online booking through such sites as booking.com, expedia, and hotel.com.

I was with a group of 12 and we stayed here 10 nights. The hotel was always clean and the staff were all very friendly! They all went above and beyond to serve our group. The chef's food was ALWAYS delicious and was presented so beautifully. He consistently checked to make sure that everything tasted well and it definitely did! Definitely recommend eating all meals at the hotel at least some. The breakfast was also delicious and had such a variety of food as well as wonderful traditional food. Will definitely be staying here again when I visit Uganda!

I booked this hotel for one night after I had finished a tour of Uganda's beautiful national parks. This was the perfect cap to my trip. The rooms are super clean and well appointed. The wi-fi is fast. The bathroom is modern, and the water is hot. It's not far from the airport, which is a plus given Entebbe and Kampala's notoriously bad traffic. Transport to and from the airport is complimentary, which is also a plus. The hotel has a restaurant, which I would give a 2.5 out 5. But it's nice that breakfast is included in the room rate. Also, the hotel is connected to a mall, which has a fast food restaurant, a coffee shop, and a sit-down restaurant. The hotel is also a quick 10-minute walk to the botanical gardens, which offer beautiful gardens on the shores of Lake Victoria. Nice plus that the hotel is across the street from a craft market in case you're looking for souvenirs. Also important to note that this Best Western is not like some Best Westerns in the states. It would qualify as at least a four-star hotel.

Clean, new, modern, international class hotel. Very helpful staff. Free access to a members only gym in adjacent mall. Beautiful rooms -- feels like I am already in Amsterdam! Nice big safe for laptop. I did see (after I agreed to a rate for a day room) that there was a deal on trip advisor for a full overnight rate just $4 more. Should have seen that but running too fast.

The reception and check in was good. The ambience and location for the hotel are satisfactory. The staff at reception, concierge and restaurant are friendly and helpful. Movement from the guest area on the second floor to the conference area is arduous. The hotel is located next to a shopping mall.

Stayed here for 5 nights after our 11 night tour of Uganda. Throughly enjoyed our stay, the rooms are lovely and clean, the bed was lovely and comfy with crisp white linen, well equipped bathroom with toiletries replenished every day - perfect. We ate in the restaurant every night and just about tried everything on the menu- all delicious! And the service was superb, all the waitressing staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for any of them - special mention to Merab- lovely girl and brilliant at her job - but really they all do a fantastic job. The pool is currently under construction, but if you wish, they will take you to a hotel with a pool which is no more than 5 minutes away and collect you - this is free of charge including transport which is an excellent service - we just had one mis-hap with this but when brought to their attention the staff were very apologetic. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again given the chance!

I stayed at the Best Western Premier on a weekend. The hotel is well located at the entrance of the city, but more importantly, built into one of two major shopping malls. Staff are friendly and efficient. No comment on the dining experience because we didn't eat there but it was nice to see that the hotel also had a nice bar!

I've stayed here three or four times over the past 18 months and been happy every time. The hotel is clean, airy, and pleasant. The service, including airport pickup, has been good every time. The last two times, I was greeted with fresh passionfruit juice while checking in--welcome refreshment after a series of very long flights. Sometimes they offer espresso during checkout. This is my favorite hotel in Uganda, which is pretty amazing for an airport hotel. The good: All three rooms I stayed in during 2017 were clean and modern with a balcony, large bathroom, and satellite tv. The service has always been great, including helping me find replacement items when the airline once lost my bags for two days. It's very close to the airport, so convenient as a place to crash when you first arrive on a late flight (as I usually do) or for a bit of relaxation in Entebbe before your flight out. It's also attached to a small mall with food options and within walking distance of some of the beachside spots in Entebbe, like Goretti's. The bad: Not much. Make sure your sliding door is locked after you check in; the cleaning staff often leave them open. After repeated stays, I've never had a bad experience. Bottom line: I'll keep coming back.

The rooms are great with nice linens and amenities. The front desk staff and doorman were very friendly and helpful along with the manager. The refrigerator in the room wasn't working, however they sent up ice and responded immediately. The challenge was the restaurant. The rating would be higher if the service in the restaurant was better and the food preparation was what we had ordered. The curry was so salty I couldn't eat it and my husband's fish was fried instead of sauteed and was cold. We left and went to Javas Cafe nearby and had a great meal with fast service. Before leaving we discussed these things with the manager and he assured us he would take care of the maintenance issues and restaurant challenges. We will try the hotel again in the future.

Unusually good for an airport hotel. Excellent and attentive service, very clean and well equipped. Ten minutes from the airport with on-demand shuttle service. In summary, very convenient for Kampala given how far it's airport in Entebbe is.

During our a safari trip to Uganda we stayed two times in the Best Western Garden Hotel. The first time we choose the hotel, because our flight from Kigali was arriving in the evening and we did not want to travel all the way and face the traffic jam to Kampala in the night (An express highway Entebbe - Kampala is being built, which cause delays. On the other hand large parts of the new road are already finished and being used clandestinely). We booked the free airport shuttle in advance and the pick-up was right on time - great when you arrive the first time in a new country. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we booked the hotel one more time for one night before leaving Uganda by air. The rooms were superclean and the beds super-comfy. The balcony was excellent for having a relaxing glass of wine and for smoking. The air con was working perfectly, which we really loved especially, because of many nights before without A/C in other places. The staff was friendly and helpful - especially the vice manager Mr. Haj. Also the small shopping mall right besides the hotel was handy for having a tasty dinner in the "Cafe Javas". The only minus point was the breakfast buffet of the hotel, which we found poor (eggs tasteless, fruits appeared to be old, coffee without taste). Otherwise we can fully recommend this hotel.

An exceptional property. Perfectly clean, staff took care of our every need. Had ten rooms rented for 3 days and meeting rooms, food, activities were world class in such a small resort. Have to admit I was nervous because I never stay in Best Western Hotels in the US because of quality issues.

This hotel is a very good representative of the brand (or franchise as the case may be). Clean, spacious, friendly staff, good food etc. For me, it is one of the very FEW times that I have not had anything to say regarding hotel services. Slept well too so much so that I overslept one of the days and I NEVER oversleep. Maybe more movie channels that are not only action movies may help some of us, but it is a great place to stay. Internet was stable and quite good. Situated in a mall that gives you other things to do if bored. Great gym, movie theatre in the mall and its 3D etc. Security is good as well. Really, really loved it. A small glitch happened but until I get to the bottom of it, I cannot comment yet. However, services... top notch.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were very pleased and happy. The room was big, clean and had everything we needed. The staff is nice and helpful, the WiFi is very good, breakfast include a wide selection of good food and the location is very central. There is a mall right next to the hotel with restaurants, pharmacy, laundry and more and the botanical gardens are 5 min walk away from the hotel. There is also a free shuttle from the airport.

Great rooms, well maintained. Service was a bit lacking though. I asked the front desk for a massage at 7pm, I was told they'd get back to me about availability. They didn't get back to me, rather I called at 9pm only to be told that the masseuse had left. Otherwise it was a good one night stay on my way out of Uganda.

Excellent modern hotel with good amenities. convenient to airport,. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, good internet wifi. next to mall with other eating options, secure environment. Will recommend to all.

Excellent hotel with airport pickup/drop-off at any time. International standard hotel at least 4*.Highly recommended if you trip takes you through Entebbe. Particularly handy for late night arrivals/departures from Entebbe. Special rate for golfers!

When you hear the term Best Western, you don't always associate it with a standard of quality you list with other larger chains. After the service I received at this hotel, I would challenge any hotel in Entebbe/Kampala to rate themselves even close. Long story short...my expensive DSLR got irreparably damaged on the day I arrived (a Sunday) and I was due to leave for the Bwindi Forest the following day at 7 am. Finding a camera shop open in Uganda on a Sunday is just this side of impossible. Not for this hotel. The staff of this hotel not only found me a car and driver, but researched shops that might have a point and shoot camera that I could buy to at least take pictures during my safari, and that was open late (this was 2 pm). They even kept in touch with the driver to ensure I was getting what I needed, and met me upon my return to make sure I had gotten what I needed and was treated fairly! If I could rate the staff as AMAZING for this post I would. I return in two days, and will be commending them to their head office for their work. Thanks, and WELL DONE!

Recently, I had a workshop here and the service was amazing. The hall is big with a big screen projector and the chairs and tables are movable ( you can conform to any meeting style at anytime) --the internet is perfect ( that's like an oasis in the desert of SLOW INTERNET IN UGANDA). Support staff are always there and they are nice .....I finally got a favourite Hotel in Uganda.

We arrived in Entebbe late in the evening and only needed a hotel for 1 night of sleep as we were departing early the next morning. The Best Western in just 15 minute drive from the Airport and very conveniently located adjacent to Victoria Mall. Airport shuttle was included in the price of the room. The staff were very friendly. The room was nice, clean, and the bathroom was big with a nice shower. Breakfast started early so this was very convenient for us, there was a variety of food, it all tasted good.

and booked every room in the hotel. It is a modern and stylishly decorated new hotel with wonderful, efficient and friendly staff that take good care of you. I was convening a 4-day international conference here last month and the whole thing went really smoothly, in large part because the staff here are really first class: friendly, capable, efficient and eager to please. Joao, the manager, is also flexible, accommodating and amenable. I received many positive comments about the cuisine at the hotel and was impressed by the quality, standard, variety and creativity of the chef team and the food served. The conference facilities are very good and Bernard, the IT guy, was always on hand to make sure things went smoothly. Let me reiterate that it is the excellent hotel staff that sets this hotel apart from others where we have held our international conferences: Alice, Kumar, Pennie, Bernard, Pamela, Fortunate, Ibrahim, Sharon, Dora, Victoria, Steven – and I could go on – have all been fantastic. Please pass my thanks to them for all hard work, which made my life easier and our conference such a success!

Exemplary customer care from front office to our conference room. IT Guy, Benard, was extremely helpful and ensured that conference went well. Alice(sales and marketing) had a busy schedule but amidst all that, she had the time to ensure that there were no hitches and of course f&b Vanessa, Polly and entire team were on their toes to ensure we were well attended too. Perfect venue for your conference. No regrets.

Best Western GHE is a relatively new entrant in Entebbe City of Uganda. The hotel is located within Victoria Mall so a number of amenities such as shopping, gym, medical clinic, pharmacy and restaurants are nearby. The food was fairly good, as was the service. However, the spread/variety of the buffet appears fairly limited, particularly the dessert section. Many times there were none/not enough pastries. The fruit tastes as if it has been prepared with a knife used to prepare other cooked food/meat. The rooms are extremely well appointed. However, the housekeeping staff is consistently sloppy. They kept neglecting to replace consummables such as lotions, sugar, cream for the complimentary tea service in the room.

A small group from Rock Church San Diego was in Uganda for a men's conference in Masaka. We stayed here after our 26 hour flights from the US. This place is super legit. Maybe one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at while on a mission trip. The hotel is brand new and they didn't take any short cuts while building this gem. Bathrooms have everything from blow dryers to razors. The bed was super comfy. I'm trying to find one thing I didn't like about this place, and I got nothing. The breakfast was on point. Omelet bar and a bunch local favorites. Seriously, if you are reading this trying to make a desicion on whether to stay here or not, take my word. This place is where it's at. I think that's why it was $100/night. In USA. A hotel like this would easily be $300

I walk into my room completely exhausted after an eventful day and over 4hrs drive, to my surprise my room was adorned with very beautiful flowers, wine and cake...nicely written message for my big day....wow wow wow... this was an experience straight out of this world. I will never forget how special you made me feel, it is people like you who take time to do special things for others that make this world all the more beautiful. Thank you very much.... always my home away from home.

I had a wonderful time at the Premier Garden Hotel. Very modern hotel and the best food in Uganda. A big shout-out and a round of applause going to the Chefs Kumar and Ramesh for their wonderful service, excellent cuisine and taking care of the individual wishes of their customers. Cannot wait to come back!

Best Western has an awesome corporate/business experience. I was there between 5-7th October, and needless to say that the facilities are of high standards in the region and the staff are excellent. Thank you Fortunate for the help, professionalism and excellent customer service. All the best.

We had a wonderful beginning to our African adventure when we stayed at the Premiere Garden Hotel.. The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. From the moment we were picked up at the airport we felt taken care of. The entire staff was so welcoming, courteous and polite and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. They were incredible!! The complementary breakfast was excellent as well as dinner in the restaurant. The only downside was the pool is still under construction but we were taken to another hotel and were able to use that pool and the driver returned exactly when we had asked them to. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of spending time in Entebbe.

Best Western has lived to its name in Uganda. From the smiling and welvoming Fortunate at the reception to the chic rooms, this hotel provides value for money. The restaurant was good and the chef willing to accommodate different dietary needs even at a short notice.
