Best Western Plus Hotel Dayton Northwest, Englewood

We checked in on 8/2 as we were traveling to West Virgina for a family vacation, check in was easy and room was clean had a good night sleep but when we were ready to take a shower in the morning the faucet was broken so we could not get the water to work, as we were wanting to get on the road we just washed up in the sink when we went down to check out i told the front desk worker and was told the manager would be down to talk to me so we ate breakfast manager never came down so when i was done eating i asked again and was told the manager would be coming soon we wanted to get on the road so i left my phone numberso they could call me, well i never recieved a call so when we got back home i called and was told that the faucet was fine and they were not going to refund any of my money, i didnt even ask for a refund just wanted them to know what was going on and see what they would offer. we travel this way often and have family that has stayed there before as this is hlf way between us but we will never stay again,

This place has great employees, the room was clean and internet was great. The breakfast was very good and everyone we ran into was polite and helpful. I really enjoy our stay here and would recommend it highly!

Having stayed in a BW Plus before my expectation was rather high, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Excellent customer service during check-in. Generally the hotel needs a little TLC-looked a bit worn. The room had a coffee maker but no coffee, the sink cabinet in the bathroom was missing the entire front of the cabinet so the pipes were all you saw, missing complimentary personal products. Just overall looked tired. I do think it was overpriced for what you got.

We came to the BWP in Englewood after our power went out after the storms. We booked through hotwire, and when we arrived the gentleman in front of us was unfortunately overbooked. Paulette was very apologetic and was genuinely concerned for him. When it was my turn, fortunately my reservation was booked and we had a room. Paulette was the absolute best and she hadn't had a chance to eat her dinner because of the influx of guests and having to deny rooms due to overbooking. She was pleasant to everyone and while she was being pulled in every direction she was charming and professional. BWP Englewood is fortunate enough to have Paulette as a staff member and we hope she gets recognized for the terrific handling of a very hectic situation. Our room was good, nothing sub par or exceptional. The perfect room for what we needed. I typically don't leave reviews, but I'll make an exception for Paulette as she is a true gem.

We needed a place to stay for the night on our road trip and location of this BW Plus hotel was conveniently located off I-70 in Englewood outside of Dayton. Upon arrival Paulette at the front desk was doing the best she could in getting us checked in and also training a new person; they were experiencing computer and printer issues with a tech person on the phone trying to resolve the problem. Paulette was professional, did not get flustered. Our room was very nice with King bed, couch and coffee table, desk/chair, MW, Ref, bathroom had nice granite counters, all clean. One drawback was the bed was good soft for me and the toilet too low. The breakfast was just okay: husband had the biscuit with gravy, said it was good and I just had a yogurt and bagel that was too dry. With juice and coffee it was enough to start our day and get back on the road.

Great location and the staff were very helpful. Ample parking space. Rooms could have been a little cleaner. The carpets were old but overall a great place. I would definitely recommend this place. I would stay there again. I have stayed at Best Western in Fort Lauderdale and was satisfied there as well.

We traveled to Dayton with a group attending the WGI World Championships in April. Room was booked far in advance. The hotel gave us all a small bag with water/ chips and few other things upon check in; it was a nice touch but not worth staying at this hotel again. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, bedding was too thin, room was not clean enough, there was slight bits of debris under the bed skirt meaning that someone didn't take the time to vacuum where people wouldn't normally see. I happened to tip a small chest over because something of ours fell behind and it was so dusty and dirty, under the lamp and the table was the same way. There was a small spot in our shower that looked like it could have been mold but it also could have been a small spider web, I didn't want to get too close to it in the event that it was either. I did not complain to the hotel because we were hardly there but we will just choose to stay somewhere a little more updated/ clean next go around.

I would not stay here again...ever. The price paid was ridiculous. The breakfast had no juice or water. The breakfast attendant was rude and short with me. My door would not properly lock. The remote control for the TV was not working properly. The AC was almost impossible to properly adjust. The front desk clerk had better things to do than to try to check me in as soon as I arrived. Even after he saw me, he continued working on his laptop in the back room for another 3 - 5 minutes.

We arrived at Best Western Plus in Englewood, Ohio this passing Saturday morning (the 19th). We were without hot water for the duration of our stay, and ended up checking out early and staying somewhere else

We stay here most time when coming back from Florida. Always satisfied. Clean rooms; everything in working order and close to the interstate. Comfortable king bed. Breakfast was good with my favorite scrambled eggs.

Property is old . Needs repairs. Rooms had plaster coming off ceiling. Tub didn't drain. Morning breakfast not great. StAff was nice. Rooms and hall had bad odor. Best thing would be tear the building down and build new.

Clean room, lots of places to eat nearby, was quiet location, staff was helpful with check-in and all questions regarding places to eat and other local attractions. Tony's Italian Kitchen has some spectacular Italian food.

We were overall very pleased with the stay at Best Western. We will choose them again. They are pet friendly and it was really quiet there. I didn't expect a hotel to be that quiet. Recommend this hotel chain

We were there for 2 days and nights, and had the best stay. We'd been there once before, a few months ago. We had a good time then as well, which is why we came back this time. So glad we did. We were not disappointe3d. The staff was wonderful.

I stayed here because it was a better and nicer looking hotel in the area. I had my truck full of tools and it just made sense. Other hotels in the area wanted the same amount of money and the hotels were rundown.

We recently spent one night here on our way from eastern PA to Utah. Although we are Hilton Honors members, the Best Western brand was chosen for this trip because our traveling companions had two cats with them. It was sufficient for our needs, located right off the interstate and comfortable and clean. The a/c worked well. We needed to request additional towels, and the showerhead needs replacing. Our two beds were only doubles (rather than queens), and our overall space was tight. The bathroom had a small corner sink, but it was sufficient. The breakfast was fine, although with limited items; the OJ had run out pretty early. All in all, it was a quite adequate stopover for our party of five humans and 2 felines.

Welcoming and friendly front desk. A little disconcerting because after check-in, she said my room number right out loud and gave me explicit directions to the room. That is not preferable behavior, especially for a woman traveling alone. That aside, the room, which was an accessible room, was clean. The air conditioner worked well. The room had the expected amenities: iron & board, luggage rack, hangers, large TV, clock, phone, coffee, microwave and mini fridge. Reception was clean and had a sunken area with tables for breakfast. Continental breakfast had cereal and oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, applesauce, juice and milk. (The staff restocking the breakfast items were very helpful to locate a specific flavor of oatmeal for me which was so nice.) Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available to guests at any time of day or night. There a couple of minor issues: they were a little stingy with the towels -- only one bath towel. Another odd thing is that the bed was on some kind of metal platform. So every time I sat down on the bed it made this really loud metal noise. Also, I had a bit of a problem with the TV. there was a long list of channels provided in the room, but the TV had a very simple remote that didn't allow choosing channels -- it was very odd. I did tell the front desk about it. All-in-all, this was a decent hotel. It was clean and had easy access to highways and restaurants, and was not too far from the airport. There was even a large grocery (Meijer) nearby. I would stay here again.

The room was dark and dingy. The tub drain was out snd laying on the floor. Had NO walk in showers. No acknowledgement of elite diamond statistic by any front staff nor gift give. Mattress was terrine. Closet d Elle do musty. We didn't hang out cloths in it for this reason. I would not recommend this hotel to s y if my friends!!!

When you pay $150 a night you would expect to have basic necessities like be able to take a hot shower. That did not happen for me, so I took a Luke warm shower ... that turned into a cold shower. I am not sure what the problem was, but maybe I should try it at 4 am, before the hot water is all used up.

Most disgusting room. I used a jacket to cover myself rather than use the linens and put a t-shirt over the nasty pillowcase. I was overcharged. When I tried to resolve it, the manager was beyond rude

This hotel is easy to access from I-70! It is a bit dated but the staff is amazing. The room was quiet. The water was hot in the shower with good pressure. Everything was in working order. But most important, clean, quiet and well priced at a great location! No real complaints!

The electrical outlets in the room were loose from the walls and the blankets look like they have not been washed or refreshed in a long time. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. This location did not seem to be up to standards of other Best Western locations.

Stayed at a lot of Best Westerns this one definitely is not up to par. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room needed an upgrade, The electrical sockets were in disrepair and loose in the wall. One of the lamp shades was almost falling off it on its own. The blankets and the spread is old and looks like they have not been washed in a while. I'll never stay here again.

Shower water pressure was low and didn't get hot. Elevators seemed like they were going to break down. Front desk clerk was very unfriendly and check in and check out took entirely to long. Would not recommend staying here

I really like this Hotel, super friendly staff, never had any problems. I booked this Hotel a few times now and the last time I was even upgraded from a standard room to a King! I am very satisfied with this Hotel and can definitely recommend it!

Great place, good food, stellar customer service. From check in to check out, no problems. I think even if htere had been, they would have fixed them with a smile on their faces. The staff there are all so friendly, courteous and helpful, and one stood out with his heart of customer service. His name is Zachary. What a wonderful guy. That being said, ALL of the front desk people we interacted with were very customer service oriented, I just can't remember their names. One was Sophia, and there was another lady at the desh who was also quite nice. She checked me out. Very nice person.

The hotel itself and the room was very nice and the staff very competent and personable. Of note, the Grab 'N Go breakfast items available included several veggie items including interesting protein, not just carbs. On the other end of the food world, the hotel is next to a Skyline Chili restaurant. Skyline Chile is a regional place that invented what is commonly known as Cincinnati Chili. Interesting menu, not haute cuisine, but not the same old stuff, either.

It's been one helluva day. We're driving in from Kansas and got a call from Dayton North manager around 3pm on the road telling us that although we had a reservation that had been paid for, they had no room for us! However, they would book us at Dayton South and would text and/or email the reservation number in just 5 min. Of course, none ever came. We got to Dayton South and they had never heard of us, had no record of a reservation and would not accept the payment that had already been made. The Dayton South people tried calling North... of course no answer. Dayton South wasn't a whole lot better. After 12 hrs of driving, it took 1.5 hrs to shuffle a room. Once up, none of the keys would work as the door lock was broken. Steer clear from the Dayton BW's. They're a mess!

Stopped here for one night. Sketchy is an adequate description. Hallways smell of cigarettes and smell seeps into guest rooms. Bathroom is terrible. Tub floor is cracked; top layer is peeling away. Shower curtain is frayed. Does not drain - by the end of a shower I was standing in ankle deep water. The room is small and dated. How this place keeps a “plus” designation is a mystery. The “no breakfast due to COVID” excuse is getting old.

Can't say enough about the staff at this Hampton Inn. We stayed for 1 night on May 14th and the gentleman at the front desk went way above what he had to to get us in a room (we arrived without a reservation) and the ladies in the morning were simply outstanding - helping provide the to go breakfast and a couple of wash clothes. The hotel was very clean in the common area as well as the room. Totally recommend staying here and we will next time we venture that way.

The room was very nice, recently updated, and the beds were nice. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The motel is just off I-70, meaning a little road noise, and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the area. They allow pets for a more reasonable charge than other places in the area. Altogether, my wife and I are very pleased.

Room was very dirty. All the pillows were stained, sheets were paper thin and didnt seem clean. Old room and old carpet. Reviews are very deceiving. Clearly not a 4 star hotel. I was very dissatisfied

The room clean, and comfortable, hotel staff was great, there was no issues with the room, will recommend it to family members and friends. The room price for the reasonable and affordable. Know your breakfast but they had something and it was still a good experience.

This is a great hotel to stay at. It's clean, quiet, and the staff is awesome. This is my "go to" hotel whenever I'm in the Dayton,OH area. Good value for your hard earned money. I'm a pretty picky person and I keep coming back. Cali is awesome, she's like having a concierge when you check in and need info and help. I would give her a raise myself if I could. I could see her advancing in the company. All in all, always a great stay on restful beds.

The hotel rooms were dirty, nasty, and dusty. Amenities in the room were old, marked up, and damaged. The bed was so old and uncomfortable. There was an old Bobby pin and miscellaneous nastiness in the room. Smells of marijuana. I do not recommend. Travelocity and hotel will not give you money back if you cancel. There is a Hampton inn around the corner. It is the best hotel in the area of Main Street and I-70. Should have taken pictures.

Have stayed here before, staff is friendly. It was nice to have a few more items for breakfast. This hotel has always had clean rooms when I have stayed here before . I would stay here in the future. Only about 15 mi uses fton WPAFB.

Everything is clean. However, the hotel rooms and carpet are outdated and old looking. Bath tubs are clean. The bed was not rock hard but woke up needing more rest because the night's sleep wasn't great

We stopped at this Best Western after being on the road for 10 hours, traveling from SC to visit out grandbaby in IN. We were very disappointed with the fact that in today's times of COVID-19 this room was not very clean. Because of Covid, I travel with disinfectant wipes and began cleaning immediately! Not only was it not disinfected as it should have been it was terribly dusty. The carpet and loveseat were dirty as well. The refrigerator was not cold enough to keep anything cold. I put a couple of drinks in the freezer and that seemed to bring them to refrigerator temperature after a couple of hours. The bed was very hard and not comfortable and the pillows had no substance to them and were also not comfortable. We have stayed in many Best Westerns when we travel and are Rewards Members so we were very surprised when this one did not meet the standards we are used to from this company.

Pluses: Close to freeway, clean, in good repair, descent mattresses, and reasonably priced. Minuses: Absolutely no toilet paper in room when we arrived, had to ask for it; Made reservation for party of 4 in our room, only 3 towels & washcloths in room, had to ask for an additional; Was promised complementary prepackaged breakfast upon checkout, but by 8 am they "ran out". That's unacceptable-- shows total lack of preparation and caring! Will probably consider another hotel next time I'm in the area, this one really didn't impress.

The front staff at check in was great. They made you feel comfortable and welcome. The room was comfortable. And it was nice that the ac was on when you entered the room for the first time. As a Diamond member I was made sure that I received a gift for staying there. I would stay here again.

Furniture in room had a lot of dust. Lucky for me I had cleaning supplies with me. With the Coronavirus going around I certainly felt uncomfortable staying in an unclean hotel room. This hotel need to be remodeled. Would.not recommended to anyone.

Room we were given was not clean and had a broken door on the refrigerator cabinet. Spoke with front desk attendant and she got another room for us immediately. Problem solved. And she was nice about it.

My wife and I were moving across the country. We have stayed in 9 Best Westerns in the past 10 days. This was by far the worst experience. The hotel was poorly staffed, gave us the wrong room, and did not follow any sort of security protocols. When we arrived, there was one person working the front desk. She processed our arrival. When we got to our room, there was two double beds in the room. We ordered and reserved a King room. She told me that they were all booked up. This is a 3 floor hotel. There were 8 cars in the parking lot, and two of them were mine. In addition, every time someone got ice, it would wake us up as the ice machine was directly on the other side of our room. The windows had hand prints on them. They also were held in with caulking. The framing seemed to be non existent. Our room had a chain lock on the door, that was held together by 2 of the 4 screws. We had a pet and needed to take him outside. When I took him down the stairs, we went out the door. It was supposed to require a key. No key required. However, you could not take the stairs up, because the door was locked. I left the hotel three times in the first hour I was there. All three times, I left the person who was working the front desk was sitting in the parking lot smoking. In the morning, when I went to discuss this with the manager, I stood at the front counter for 5 minutes with no-one coming up. I heard someone in the back office laughing and talking on the phone but no one came up. It is a safe bet that we will not ever stay in this hotel again.

Remodel this hotel. I stayed here thinking it would be nice, since its a Best Western Plus. This particular hotel is on the same level as a Super 8 or Motel 6. The Mattresses are old and worn out along with everything else in the room.

Had recently returned from New York. Check in and out we're smooth. Staff very friendly and Helpful. NO BEDBUGGS! Property was in disarray. Rooms dated but clean. Needed to use printer but didn't work.

Great place to stay!! Very clean building overall. Staff was great always greeted when was going outside or back inside. This place is amazing for business trips,hang with some friends or whatever it may be best Western will by my new choice is stay!!!

Best Western Plus Dayton Northwest seemed to be unprepared for pandemic procedures. We were traveling home from the west and stayed at another hotel the night before...they had procedures in place and had guests fill out forms for grab and go breakfast in lieu of breakfast area being closed. Dayton ran out of grab and go breakfast early. They had hot beverages available 24/7 but not a great idea with the need for sanitizing. I requested paper plates and plasticware to make dinner in the room...and was told to get the items from under the counter...again, under the circumstances, not sanitary with the given conditions. The desk clerks appeared to be fearful in their demeanor and actions. No mention of our Diamond status or check in gift (or why we weren't receiving one). At check out, I mentioned the idea of filling out requests for grab and go breakfast bags so they wouldn't run out...she said it was up to the manager/owner to make that decision.

I used my American express to guarantee a room (hold the room for late check in) back in Nov. 2019 then I informed the front desk that I was paying with my Mastercard not the American express, This hotel charged BOTH of my credit cards the full amount for a 2 night stay, when I discovered the error I called them and their response to me was they did not make a mistake because according to them their "books balanced" I got into a verbal arguement telling them they could NOT have balanced because both my american express and mastercard were charged $207.36. Again I used one card to hold the room and another as the form of payment which I informed the front desk clerk of this. I have done it this way in other hotels and NEVER had an issue until now, The lesson I learned is to use the same card to hold the room and that same card to pay for the room, so to this day this hotel has NOT made good on their mistake. I would not stay here again and advise others not to either because you cannot trust the employees nor the management. I had to file a dispute with my bank and unfortunately my bank had to endure or eat the loss. This dragged on for a little over 4 months with this property still NOT making good on their intentional mistake.

There was no receptionist when we arrived and another guest had been waiting for over an hour. There was no one in the hotel who could do this and we had to wait until someone else arrived for their shift befire we could check in. Then despite using the company website to make the booking, and using a rate that required immediate payment, we were told the room had not been paid for. The debit was made while we stayed there. Then a vending machine was not working and a bug was found in the bathroom. At breakfast, the coffee machine was not working and the alternative thermos jugs were virtually empty. Additionally, the juice machine only had apple juice available as both the orange and cranberry were out. Finally, there was no gravy to go with the biscuits. When we checked out, the receptionist apologized for the problems and said the manager would contact us that day to probably offer a free night. No contact has been received. This is not at all what I come to expect from Best Western who are normally better than average.

This Hotel was just what I needed. Nothing too fancy, just clean, and the food was good. I was in town for buisness and it was great to have a clean room to come back too. The Wifi was great and the staff was nice.

Stopped for the night while driving a u-haul from Colorado to New Jersey. Conveniently located right off off I-70. I am a Best Western Member and was recognized as such during check in. Breakfast was available in early morning. Downfall, the hot food was cold but microwave worked wonders. Would recommend if in the area, right off of

I've stayed at this Best Western Plus 3 times so far and I rate this one highly amongst the ones I have stayed at. Staff is friendly and hotel is always very clean. I like the décor and everything functioned like it's supposed to in my room.

We Dayton visit friends and family a couple times a year and we always like staying at the Best Western Hotel in Englewood. The rooms are comfortable and affordable, the people are nice and helpful and the breakfasts are always plentiful and good.

Really close to the airport, yet you don't hear the air traffic. Right beside the Interstate, but can't hear the traffic there either. Wonderful, friendly staff greets you with a smile. Super clean room, great amenities and a great breakfast to start the day. I will definitely stay here again!!!

The price was great. Room and breakfast were just fine. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Very convenient to highway yet quiet. It was a first time stay and was impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Had a room mix up when we arrived and it was handled right away with no problem. Immediately off Hwy 70, priced reasonably, included a nice breakfast, clean room and pleasant staff. I will definitely stay here again! We reserved directly with Best Western online and the price was better because of their "last minute rate". We asked for a room near the exit and the staff was able to provide that.

Friendly, informative check-in on Thanksgiving! Clean, quiet, comfortable. Dogs allowed. Food, gas, shopping nearby. Right off highway but no traffic noise. Have stayed 3 times; will definitely return.

I travel every week to Dayton for work. This hotel is a great value. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Full breakfast. Never had any problems and its convenient access to highways and eating options. Give it a try!

Great stay for a fair price..only 20 minutes from the University of Dayton. The staff is great! Good Breakfast(waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy and more . Easy on and off the expressway, but set back enough so no car noise.

The lobby and hallways are very nice. The room is plain. The exterior of the building needs impprovement. It is hard to find. The road is not labeled as one extis the highway. After finding the road which is straight ahead from the freeway exit, the Best western sign is misleading. One has to drive up the hill to find the hotel.

Had a great experience. Check in was smooth, check out was super quick, room was perfect for what we needed and had a great working refrigerator. Was in town for a youth football tournament and this was 10 minutes from the playing field and everywhere we went. Great experience and will definitely be back if I'm the area.

Best Western Plus Dayton Northwest, Englewood, OHIO . nice place to stay, check in clerk was great. very friendly and helpful . went out of her way to make cookies for my grandsons. cookies are are the counter . room was nice and clean would stay her again.

No one on duty when we arrived. Had to call the hotel and then someone came to the desk. Checked in and found dirty wet towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. No one on desk again to report the issue. Brought towels back down as we headed to dinner. No one at the desk. Left the towels. Would not eat breakfast as we wondered what that would be like based on the towels. Checked out and of course there was no one at the desk. Reconsidering staying at Best Western ever again

Picked this hotel while on the road. It was an excellent choice both for the price and hotel cleanliness, decor and amenities! Check in and out were quick. The rooms were clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had many choices. I would definitely recommend it!

Everything looked clean. Lobby, rooms, etc. Did not use any facilities though there was a fitness room and office work area. Elevators were a little clunky and noisy. Ice machine is not on 4th floor, only on 3rd and 2nd. It was quiet. Bed was comfortable. I just need to learn to bring my own pillows to hotels as the pillow was too soft for me and woke up with neck pain. A/c was quiet. Breakfast was great. Had eggs, ham, sausage gravy w/biscuits, waffles and cereal. Along with juice and coffee for drinks. Very pleasant experience. Would stay again.

Great roomy bathroom, clean room. Desk & hospitality staff top notch. Breakfast was awesome. Fruit, coffee, juices available 24/7. They have large parking area, a smoking area, fitness room, computer area, lounging area all very nice & clean.

We were on our way back to Michigan and stopped here because we were tired from driving all day. This hotel was pleasant, quiet, and priced right. However, check the mattress cover! Make sure it's clean and not grossly stained. Our room was very clean, except for the mattress cover on the bed in our first room. I'm so glad I checked the bed before we got settled in because it was badly soiled and just plain gross. Also, make sure they tell you the correct time breakfast ends when you check in or you'll miss it like we did.

Excellent experience at this hotel great people working the desk and the floor. they were swamped and short handed at approximately midnight when i arrived the guy at check in was the best. The people in front of me were snarly and he was never anything but courteous. He went out of his way to help me after the aforementioned people who actually pushed in front of me in the line were nothing but discourteous.

Even though we were there the week after Memorial day during Sever storms and flooding, the place was and staff were very professional. The manager keep appoligazing because they were so busy and couldn't get delivery trucks in for food delivery. Would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here on our way across the country. Upon arrival (about 10:30pm), the front desk clerk was outside, watched us walk in, and waited 5 minutes to come in and heck us in. He was rude, and put on a fake smile when he told us if there was anything he could help us with to let him know. The bathroom light fixture wasn't installed, you could see straight into the light canister. The soda vending machine was only on 1 of the floors (despite their instructions that there were multiple on each floor) and almost all of the drinks were sold out. Breakfast was later than we anticipated, and we were disappointed that we would not be able to have breakfast before we left in the morning as we paid more to stay there than other hotels in the area specifically to have breakfast.

Property was clean, rooms nice and the B-fest was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the amount of money I paid was well worth the stay and I would recommend the location if you are in need of a night or two stay.

We stYed there while on a bus trip the rooms were very dark and dingy the carpeting needed vacuuming. The toilet we had I swear was one foot off the ground. The ice machine wasn't working. The towels were nice and soft was about the only good thing I can say about the plac. Very depressing place.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel was clean and quiet! The room was a nice size and allowed us to stretch out a bit. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful! we would definitely stay here again.

The location is a bit tricky to get in and out of because of construction.I guess it is better than is was, according to the front desk. Speaking of the front desk, we checked in around 4 pm. The girl, at the desk, could barely smile. It was almost like relating to a zombie. No personality, no sense of welcome. The room is spacious with a large bathroom. The shower was strong and felt good. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping needs to inspect the room to make sure everything is working. Both lights on the desk lamp were burned out. The front desk gave me a new bulb that worked. The lighting needs some upgrading. The one thing that was very irritating was that the doors slam. I mean very noisy. It is enough to wake you from a sound sleep. Overall I would stay here again.

The beds at this location (at least in my room) was all sunk in and rock hard. I would say it's hourly motel quality and that might be too much credit. I have stayed over 90 days in BW hotels in the past 5 months and this wasn't BW Quality. They didn't even have a closet you hang your clothes on a light fixture.

After reading your comments I understand your dissatisfaction with your stay. We sell rooms for a good nights sleep. From your comments the bed was less than satisfactory. The hotel was located right near the highway and near gas stations and resturants. It was extremely clean and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and they had fruit and coffee and tea available 24/7.

Front desk staff was very friendly but it seemed to take a long time to register even though we are rewards members. We were offered a room on all four floors and decided on the fourth floor as it was the top and nobody would be noisy above us. That was a mistake as the traffic noise from HWY 70 was very loud all night long. Tough to get back to sleep without ear plugs. Cleanliness and breakfast were both okay.

Hotel is extremely dated. The hall carpet was stained and quite dirty.The door to our hotel room did not secure correctly and you could open our door without a key. We arrived very late and the gal working seemed more enthusiastic about her tablet than she did the guest. Breakfast was sub par, typical pre cooked hotel breakfast. The employees need to go to a break room if they are going to complain about their job verses doing it in the hall for everyone to hear, this was a same issue our last stay a few months ago. After saying we would never stay here again we tried but this will definitely be our last. No amount of reward points make up for such a poor experience which was offered but never and actual apology. Lesson learned. Keep on moving along to the next exit.

We stayed here on our way to family in North Carolina. The check in person was fast and personable. We had arrived near midnight and she was in great mood. Helpful in getting our rooms next to each other. Another plus for us was there was Almond milk on the breakfast bar which was helpful for my lactose intolerant daughter.

We really enjoyed this Best Western site. We on our last night of our vacation and felt very comfortable and rested in the morning. Great place to stay. We would use this hotel the next time we are in the vicinity. Lots of places to eat in the vicinity of the hotel. .

We travel to this route a couple of times a year and always stay at this Best Western. It is easy on/off access to I 70. The staff is courteous and will make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable for the price. The breakfast is hot and the breakfast area is neat and clean.

This Bwst Qesternis an amazing place to stay. Very clean and friendly staff. Rooms are awesome and breakfast is great. Staff friendly and willing to help anyway they can. Will stay here again. Second time I have stayed here.

Very close to main highway and easy on and off access. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate area to eat and gas stations close to the hotel. The room was very comfortable with good lighting.

We (my husband and I) look forward to our weekly stay at the Best Western Plus Englewood. The General Manager and all staff are accommodating and friendly. We are treated like family. Hotel staff from front desk, to housekeepers, to lobby attendant and the General Manager are our family and friends.

Honestly this is a zero star review. We arrived this evening at the Best Western Plus assuming that the rooms we reserved through the hotel would be available at check-in. When we arrived, the women at the front desk, Rebecca, said “I was really hoping you weren't coming.” She continued to say that they were overbooked and had no room for us. We waited for over an hour while she called the two managers, Judy, who had no solution, and Beth, who never picked up. Rebecca then tried to contact local hotels but couldn't get a rate even close to ours. Meanwhile they were overwhelmed with a tour group and completely understaffed. Eventually we were forced to just cancel our reservation and leave. They didn't take responsibility or offer us anything for the inconvenience. Now we are couch surfing with family for the evening. The worst part about this is that we drive 8 hours to attend a funeral and this is the last thing we wanted to be dealing with.

I just wanted to sleep and had a rather large of number kids around me, so the front desk person was kind enough to give me a room on the upper floor. It's also good to know that most of the rooms do not have bathtubs anymore if you have children or want to take a bath in general so you may need to specifically ask for a room with a tub. The room and breakfast were good for this price point.

Thank you Michelle for your recent review. We are pleased that we was able to locate you a quiet location for your stay. However, all of our rooms does have a bath tub in them. Could you have this stay mixed with another location?

Our 1st stop in Ohio and I was not impressed. No room upgrade,no mention of BW reward member points or gift upon arrival. We were told that we did not use BW number for reservation. They just didnt read the reservation as it was on there. Our room was overly cluttered with too much furniture for the size of it. Also we were not told it would be an adjoining room. The bathroom door lock was broken/missing and the ceiling had water damage stains. As well the bed was not the comfortable BW bed that we have lived elsewhere. At check out the staff were more concerned with their own issues then that of the customer. And when I picked up my bags to leave an employee asked if I wanted a bottle of water....and it was warm! We love staying at Best Western when away, but will not return to this location.

Rebecca and Shar-Da' make a weary traveler feel welcome and are eager to accommodate. Our room was spacious, clean, great bathroom, desk, fridge, tv, couch. The free shuttle, ably driven by Greg, took us to a nice local restaurant and quickly picked us up when our meal was completed. A great waystation, BW Plus Northwest Dayton.

The hotel is close to the highway and it is easy to reach Dayton and the airport. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking and WiFi are free. People are friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room are somewhat dated. My wife had trouble with the bed ( I can sleep anywhere). AC worked well. Although close to the Interstate, we did not hear the noise. Breakfast is included: very good coffee, reasonably fair selection includes toasts, waffles, and pancakes. I do not like corn syrup, though.

This hotel was gross the workers were very rude i would not ever stay again the breakfast lady complain Luann oh my goodness i didnt understand why she even wants to work there i heard yelling going on it was just a mess really couldnt sleep the bath tubs were horrible i had to go visit a family member to take a shower cause i refuse to step foot in it. I couldnt tell if it was clean or not and was not talking any chances.

The Best Western was a good location and good value for our weekend singing trip to Dayton. Others in our group were also staying at the hotel. We really appreciate the full hot breakfast. There were good restaurant options close to the hotel.Our room did not have a closet or clothes hanging bar. That would have been helpful. The hotel is right on the highway. Fine for a night, but I would not want to be there for several days just because of highway noise.

My daughter and I made a stop here on our way from Illinois to Connecticut. We basically just needed a place to sleep for the night. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was a bit harder than I prefer, but my daughter liked it. The bathroom vanity was very nice. Lots of lighting and mirrors. Overall, it was a great experience and a very good value for the price.

I have had the please of staying at this hotel for approximately 8 months while in the area on business. I have always found the staff to exceptionally helpful and kind. All of the employees at the hotel are sure to always greet me by name and remember any preferences that I may have to help accommodate me and facilitate a good experience. In addition to providing excellent customer service, I am always pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. I have never asked for a particular room but typically stay on the same floor of the hotel and have always found the rooms to be very well kept and clean (As an ardent traveler for the purposes of work, I'm accustomed to always inspecting hotel rooms before settling in and have never found anything of concern while staying at this hotel). Additionally, the professionalism and accommodating nature of one particular employee, Judy, has always amazed me. As someone that owns several of my own businesses, I understand the value that exceptional customer service brings to success and longevity of a business and I have not met someone that exemplifies these characteristics within the hospitality industry better than Judy does in my 3 years of traveling around the state and staying in different hotels. In regards to amenities, I was surprised and thrilled to find that when staying at this location, you can show your room key at a particular gym (approximately 1-2 miles down the road) and have free access to their facilities (which is open 24/7) and also be shuttled their for free by their shuttle services. Overall, I have truly enjoyed staying at this hotel and continue to give them my business while working in the area.

Overnight stay, looks like an old hotel that they tried to make look newer but definitely not there yet. Our door didnt fit the frame so there was a gap the you could see through which also ley in some noy wanted hot air from the hallway. Room was rough. Unless you are desperate, skip it.

Very good experience overall. I stayed at this hotel for ~5 months while working in the Dayton area. Bonita was always very friendly and efficient upon arrival and initial check in and even assisted with early check ins as needed. Over the 5 months time I stayed in close to 20 separate rooms on both the 3rd and 4th floor. All of the rooms were very clean and the location was perfect with multiple restaurants, gas stations, and easy access to I70. The hotel also provided free shuttle service within a 5 mile radius as well as to/from the Dayton Airport. I definitely would stay at this hotel in the future if I needed to return to the Dayton area for work again.

Stayed back in the beginning of May during our routine visit with family in Dayton and it was a good stay.. this time, not so much. The room was by far clean and the air conditioning was sub par. There were crumbs on the carpet with ants crawling around and hair all over the bathroom. The evening Van driver sprayed our Room for the ants but didn't offer to vacuum them up and he could use some customer service training. The only positive during this experience were a couple of the ladies working the service desk, Julie and Bonnie, good job ladies.

I have stayed here a number of times when passing through the area. The hotel is experience here is great. Judy and staff are extremely warm and accommodating. The continental breakfast is great, with everything you might need. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Plenty of parking onsite, and there is even a free shuttle to nearby destinations and to and from the airport. Would heartily recommend to friends and family!

We have been Best Western stayers for years. We will never visit this property again. My family had to check out because the room had bed bugs. The housekeeping manager and housekeepers were talking about having a problem w bed bugs.

Just finishing a 4 night stay with 4 rooms for the Dayton Air Show. Our team was totally pleased with every aspect of this hotel. Front desk were friendly, professional, and helpful. LuAnn and the breakfast staff kept food well arranged and supplied and hot. Breakfast choices have been different each day and it all was oh, so tempting. TV was clear and WiFi was strong. Already booked our rooms for next year's show.

Nice hotel in Englewood. Clean rooms, good air conditioning, comfortable beds. Kristin at the front desk was so very helpful with our last minute room request for adjoining rooms! Nice start to our vacation!

Four night stay - at best grubby, unkempt hotel. At worst rudest Manager I've ever met and met with silence from the staff ( exception of head housekeeper ..) ... I slipped on the floors outside the lift which had been moped ( 10.00 am ! ) . whilst the sign was on the floor it was not visible from the lift. Manager refused to come and see me and when I did get to see her and explained I slipped on her wet floor the response was " yes " ...."And" ... after explaining the injuries I was then told I was on camera and to expect repercussions of the conversations. Insurance form was never filed as I wasn't allowed to see what she was writing and she walked away and wouldn't complete it. All this after the room had dirty wash cloths and paint pot in the bathroom for two days. Nothing left for breakfast on the last day - Saturday - as they were feeding a coach party - nothing left for the residents. Gym was dirty , disgusting ...cant imagine when it was last used .

I am a flight attendant and needed to stay at this hotel with my corporate discount because I,was inbetween bases. I checked in sat. and had used this hotel many times before. sat. to sun. went well. i worked sun. all day. returned early monday at 1 am. slept late went downstairs to get coffee never informed of water being turned off. no post anywhere in hotel. when i finally went to shower there was no water. all they were going to give me back for my stay,was 25% . it is independently owned and the genera managers name is Amy witham. horrible customer service i paid for a nightfrom 3 pm sun. to 12 pm mon. w no water from the time i woke up. i advice others not to do business with them .

Stayed there over a weekend where the average temp was 90 degrees. My daughter had a soccer tournament so that compounded matters. My room had no hot water, none! I brought the issue up on two occasions and was told, maintenance will look at it. Even as they were handing me my bill for the FULL amount they asked how my stay was. I said, no hot water and the girl at the desk actually said to me,

We checked into this hotel for a sports tournament. Upon entering room 234 I inspected the room (the bathroom was gross and dirty but turned out to be the least of our concerns) as I usually do at every hotel and found bedbugs on the bedskirt and one on the carpet behind the nightstand. I took pictures with my phone quickly to show the front desk. Thankfully my daughter was still waiting with our luggage in the hallway. The staff was very gracious and offered a different room to which we declined. I realize bedbugs happen but finding 5-6 in a small area on the bedskirt leads me to believe the room is likely infested!

This hotel is easy to go to/from. Plus, there is nearby shopping and a variety of fast-food and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and attractive. The complementary breakfast features many choices and the menu varies from day-to-day. We had a problem with a VERY squeaky door to our room's bathroom. The staff fixed it right away! Indeed the desk staff were a pleasure to talk with!

The first time I stayed in this hotel it was completely out of the blue. I was travelling, pulled off the road, saw the sign for BW and stopped here. I am so glad I did! The staff are all friendly and competent and go out of their way to make sure your stay is GREAT! I have stayed at many different chains, but never tried BW. Now, this is the only chain I will seek and hopefully all of the hotels will be as GREAT as this one!

She was very helpful and a great cook. The shuttle drivers Gregory(evening driver) and the morning driver (Ed) were very professional and courteous. They were always prompt. On the positive, the bed was comfortable, could run the ac fan on continuous for white noise, cheap rate. On the negative, not vacuumed well in the room or common areas, everything in the room is worn, needs maintenance (no cover on light in bathroom), pretty limited breakfast, didn't get bill under door for quick checkout though they said they would at check in.

This was a very enjoyable room. When a person has been on the road all day, there's nothing better than a lot of flat space to place his luggage, items, junk. Here we had two lamp tables, a coffee table, a computer table and at least three other pieces of large furniture plus a sofa. Walking into the room, we noticed a spacious bathroom just inside the door; big enough that two people do not have to dodge each other if they are in there at the same time. Nothing is perfect, but this place came close.

The experience was great. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of breakfast options including use of a waffle iron for making fresh waffles. The drive through portico and luggage cart was very handy.

Make sure you get a room that is as far away from the road as possible. If not, you won't get any sleep with the sound of trucks rolling by continuously !!! We attempted to mute the noise by turning the heating/ac unit to continuous fan but it would not stay on.

I stayed at this hotel for business and was very impressed. The front desk staff was soooo nice and accommodating. I forgot to pack a toothbrush and the front desk lady sent some to me along with a very thoughtful note to have a nice night and put a smiley face on there. At the end of a long bad day, that small gesture made all the difference. The rooms were updated and as clean as could be. Happy my company chose this hotel as its "go to" hotel in the Dayton area... I will never mind when I have to travel to Dayton now knowing I'll be staying at a good and comfortable hotel.

Really enjoyed this property. First of all the price was low, the staff was very friendly and there were great restaurants near by. Very convenient location right off of I-70. The rooms were just typical but clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast set up.

Lobby and breakfast area were nice and the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast area had no bananas (asked day 1 and she got me one) and day2, no yogurt or bananas. Was told the truck had not arrived. We were disappointed in our room. It was dusty, the art work was missing and the shower did not work well. If we saw these things, what did we not see? The issues might be an indication of a poorly run housekeeping/Maintainence team or maybe more. It's like a restaurant with a dirty bathroom, how clean is the kitchen?We stay at BW often. To be a BW Plus, this hotel needs to review their operations, goals and objectives.

We have stayed here several times. It never disappoints. It is located near many restaurants, including Company 7 BBQ, which has excellent BBQ ribs and wings. The shuttle is helpful since the hotel lets you leave your car there if you have stayed there.

I arrived and checked in to my room only to discover that there was no curtain to black out the room at night. I was quickly transferred to a room with the appropriate curtain. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I noticed this hotel had a noon checkout time, which is more generous than the standard 11 AM. I was given some dinner suggestions and ate at a local burger joint down the road, which proved to be perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay here again.

I was traveling for work. The shuttle drivers were awesome prompt to pick us up at the airport and then drive us around to restaurants or Meijers (The Midwest's version of walmart) The front desk staff was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. There was a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot in the room. The only ice machine was on the 3rd floor and the 4th floor vending machine was sold out but other than that it was great.

After a long day of driving with two young children we finally arrived at this motel around 8pm. We reserved a room previously on the BW website. At check-in, the woman at the front desk (Alyia sp?) seemed confused about benefits we usually receive as Best Western Platinum Members. She didnt know about room upgrades or thank you gift bags and made my wife feel like she thought she was lying when she brought up these things. Our room was on the second floor, and as we made our way down the hall to our room, the smell of cigarette smoke was over-powering. The room wasnt much better, and had a strange musty odor on top of the cigarette smoke smell. The tub was in bad shape with plastic peeling up on its floor. There were crumbs on the floor by the beds.We were all tired and hungry so we thought we would make the best of it though. We noticed on the paper in the room that it said that food delivery was available, and to go to the front desk for a menu. My wife returned to the front desk with our 5 year old son. There was a long line up, but the woman at the front desk, noticed she had come back and asked her if everything was ok or if there was something she could help her with. Upon inquiring about a menu my wife was once again made to feel she was making things up. The employee said she would have to bring the paper down and show it to her to "prove" what she was saying. Then, some self-righteous jerk (an airline pilot) in line started tearing into my wife, telling her she had no right to be talking to the hotel employee, because he (and several others) were in line in front of her waiting to check-in, regardless of the fact that it was expected to be a 20 second exchange to hand her a dinner menu, and the motel employee initiated the conversation. My wife returned very upset and we decided that was enough and we would get out and get our money back and go find somewhere else, even though it was late and the kids were hungry and cranky from a long drive. My wife and the kids headed back out to the car and I waited in line about 20 mins to get to the desk to get our refund. There was a single employee checking in 3 people in front of me and also had to take 2 phone calls for reservations. By the time I made it to the desk, I had calmed down, and told the employee that the main reason we needed to leave was the smell of the room and hallway. At this time, her attitude to me seemed to have changed from when she was talking to my wife, and she was VERY apologetic and assured me that the entire motel was non-smoking and that she would try to look into who was not following the rules. She also agreed with me that the airline pilot was a jerk and I understand that the motel is not responsible for the behavior of its guests. She told me she was on her third shift and dealt with a lot of rude people that day. She did seem like she was trying, but she was just too busy and flustered and had too long of a day, besides not being knowledgeable about Best Western programs. I had no problems getting our cash refunded, and we moved across the street to a different hotel.

We have stayed at many BW hotels over the years. We would stay at this BW+ again because the staff were a step above in providing service even though we experienced cleanliness issues - the first time we have done so at a BW hotel. Our tub/shower did not drain properly and it appeared that the shower had been used - two (extra) bath towels hung behind the door, soap scum in the tub and on the tub fixtures. The front desk staff, Ree in particular, were most helpful and understanding, making sure we were satisfied with the resolution of the issue. In addition, the breafast attendant was friendly and attentive above what we have encountered in othe BWs. The staff's helpfulness and professionalism ensured we will continue to use BWs despite the substandard shower. The other amenities at the hotel were as expected for a BW+, except no newspapers in the morning. The location just off the I-75 just northwest (the name says it all) of Dayton make it an ideal stop for Canadian snowbirds heading to/from the southern US. As an aside, there is a significant difference in rates for any BW hotel between what is offered on-line and what you can get when you phone to book a reservation. The on-line offer is always cheaper.

My son and I stayed here on the way home to Ontario Canada from Arkansas. After 12 hours on the road pulling a huge cargo trailer we needed a fuss-free and comfortable place to stay. We achieved both of these goals here! The staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. The room was very well laid out, clean, and had modern decor. The breakfast buffet had lots of hot and cold choices and there was fresh fruit. Normally we wouldn't have accepted a ground floor room but since there was no pool, we didn't encounter any excess traffic and noise outside our room.

Our evening flight was delayed, resulting in missing the connection in Atlanta, with no later flight options that date. Delta comped us a night at the BW, and booked us on a flight going out early the next morning. So - we never planned on staying there to begin with, but had an excellent night's sleep and complementary shuttle service to and from the airport. We had to leave at 5AM - before the included breakfast. We usually stay at more expensive chains when we travel, but were very satisfied with the accommodations at this BW. I would stay with BW again based on this experience.

It was nothing but noise. First from a wonky heating unit. Then from nearby Hwy 70 truck traffic all night long and then from a nut job who started screaming at the top of her lungs at 3:15am which apparently ended up with the police being called. Other that those problems, the staff was excellent and we took advantage of their shuttle service to get to and fro a local restaurant.

The motel is close to the school and it is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and well maintained. The breakfast is comparable to other hotel breakfasts. It was below zero outside during our stay, but our room was nice and warm. The reception are was cool, but that is understandable considering the frigid weather.

The staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The room was comfortable and the breakfast included eggs, waffles, sausage and the rest. The hotel was quiet and the beds comfortable, so I slept well. The hotel is right off I-74 and there are restaurants and gas stations close. It is hidden behind a Clarion Hotel, but a sign directs you to the Best Western.

This was the second time in 3 months that we have stayed at this hotel on our way to Pennsylvania to visit relatives. The registration person is always so friendly and helpful. They have a list of restaurants in the area that proved helpful our first time through. Unfortunately this last time was on Thanksgiving Day and none of those places were open. We still had a very nice stay.

We stayed at this hotel with our family and needed two rooms. We were assigned connecting rooms. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. We will definitely stay again as the location was very close to the highway.

Best motel we stayed at all year. Breakfast, Wi-Fi and the bed were great. Very clean room. The staff was amazing. Helped me with directions and ads for shopping on black Friday in a strange town. Went out of their way to make our stay great.

We stay here whenever we travel to Dayton. The motel has a shuttle to the airport and you can leave your car at the motel when you travel. There are several good restaurants near by. The breakfast buffet is OK. The bagels could be better.

This hotel is past it;s prime and needs a good makeover. Some updates attempted but not professional. Tiles, baseboards, grouting, etc.appear to have been done by a tyro. Room not well cleaned, other guests hair left in tub, large beetle found on headboard. Highway noise.

I had a beautiful room. The people there were so nice and happy to meet me. I spoke to Makenzie, Teresa, and Cristin, The breakfast was hot and tasted wonderful. The room was on the first floor which I thought might be noisy but it was so quiet I fell to sleep with no problems. Everyone helped me all along the way. I was very happy with my stay and will do it again. The reason for my stay was to see my Grandkids and I was one happy Grandma. Thank you to everyone there.

hotel and its staff are a complete disaster. never again. the door didn't lock. the DOOR! the remote for TV didn't work. the replacement didn't work either. couldn't even latch the door to go ask for a different remote. a complete joke that place is.

The room was comfortably prepared with placement near elevator as requested. Accommodations were better than anticipated for the cost of the room with breakfast which was very nicely set with multiple selections of foods.

Good place to stay the night before early morning flight. Also have stay, park and fly program. Safe parking area with shuttle to and from airport. In past have used breakfast bar and it was satisfactory

Upon arival I was a little sceptical about this property by its appearance, but the best western brand did not fail me. It could have been the friendly helpful staff, or the comfortable room, but probably both. Great place to spend the evening.

All I can say, is that we were treated as a family member from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. This is the case every time that we have stayed at this best western. The people at the counter are there to service you and that appears to be their top priority

The staff was very helpful and friendly. While this hotel is off the Inter-State we had a great night sleep and had trees for the view from our window. The hotel is very accessible and easy on and off, not difficult to find after a full day of driving.

Another great Best Western Hotel! Always the best choice! Always clean, and friendly. When you're looking for a nice place to rest after a long day on the road and want some place that's quiet, clean and the people are friendly, this is definitely the place to stop.

The hotel is excellent in every way. Traveling from St. Louis to Philadelphia is a long trip. Nice to know I can stay at a clean, updated hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Consistently excellent with staff who are committed to making the stay comfortable.

This Best Western is a great place to stay after driving in the rain all day! The beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of good hot water! The staff is exceedingly helpful and friendly! The breakfast was hot and delicious!

Nice Hotel for its age. Everything in order. Easy access from I-70. Lots of restaurant choices and a grocery store across the road. Great breakfast. Liked the fact the coffee was ready at 5:00 AM. Room was clean and comfortable. Will stay again when I pass through. I would recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and easy to work with.

I received a special room rate for the conference I attended. The room furnishings were adequate and comfortable for my needs; the wireless internet service was the best I've used in a hotel this year; the breakfast was good and had a nice variety; the staff was quite friendly and helpful.

This hotel seems to be in a "sketchy" area, but is it close to restaurants & a grocery store on the other side of South Main Street. It is quiet. The breakfast was only average, with very little to choose from for fresh fruit, which was disappointing.

When our family of six with age ranging between two months and 68 years checked in, we had some expectations from the hotel. We are happy to state that our expectations have been matched by all the hospitality parameters. The rooms are spacious. Housekeeping services are impeccable. The quality of food and beverages quality in complimentary breakfast is very good. In addition, the empathy and care demonstrated by the staff particularly by the bespectacled lady at the reception have made our stay comfortable and memorable. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient for the visitors, specially who travel by car and would like to have quick access to the market for necessities at odd hours in a new place.

Rolled in around midnight on our way from NJ to AZ. Bed was comfortable and room was clean & bathroom clean. Room has refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave, tv, a/c & heat. Had complementary breakfast before we left: pancakes, bagle, sausage patty and coffee. Breakfast wasn't 5 star but it was ok. Only other thing we can say is no exhaust fan in bathrooms......really wasn't a problem but some people have to have them.

We spend two nights for attending our Durga Puja event in Dayton. We will come back to the same hotel again if we have to. Air condition was working very smooth ( no noise at all). We had good sleep at night.

Driving through on the way to MN from VA. Found on TripAdvisor - it was a perfect choice. Check-in was late in the evening and very smooth. My 22-year-old really liked the updated bathroom (!) but then we crashed. Breakfast was ample and good quality. Conventional continental (bagels, Philly cream cheese, Smucker's peanut butter, muffins -English and conventional), plus eggs, sausage, and a waffle bar the kids will love - chocolate chips, cherries, etc). There is one person who tends the breakfast bar - putting out nice fruits as they are taken. Sitting here listening to to the front desk woman who is over the top friendly. Asks where people are going and tells them about the weather they will encounter. Asks if they are signed up for points and makes sure they are getting full credit. Nice people, nice place.

From beginning to end, this Best Western was a disappointment. We were trapped, as we had trusted the Best Western "Certificate of Excellence" award, so were surprised at every turn. We entered the motel through a side door with a door mat and carpet that were heavily sodden with salt residue--and obviously had not been cleaned from the previous winter. The carpet in the hall and in our room were stained. There was a dirty wet washcloth on the table in the room and cracker pieces under the table. There were dirt AND sand all over my bedspread, and I wondered if the bed linens had been changed. In the morning, hoping for better, we found the breakfast buffet to be disappointing--what stood out the most was the green bagel I picked out of the bread display--it was covered with a powdery green mold. The orange juice wasn't read juice, just a sugary orange colored drink. VERY VERY disappointing. And making it hard to again trust the Best Western "Certificate of Excellence" award. No one on the staff seemed to like this place well enough to take care of it.

We found this BW while enroute home from a holiday in the south. It had ample parking and was clean throughout. Check in was pleasant; room was clean though we found the blue accent color to be a little dark. Amenities were good and restaurant was close to the facility. Breakfast was very good and the staff were accommodating. Look here for a clean, quiet location. However, I did not think the mattress was up to BW standards.

This is an excellent property to stay before flying out on the Dayton Airport. The people are very helpful and the shuttle service to the airport operates all day and night. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. We had to fly out very very early and they had breakfast fixed and ready when we came down. That was very nice, we did not expect that.

We stayed at the hotel overnight as we were going to the airport the next day for our cruise. The shuttle bus took us to the airport the next day. When we came back from our cruise, the shuttle bus was there waiting for us and took us back to the hotel to our car. I called the hotel to let them know that our flight had changed. They called later to see if we were able to make our flight. I appreciate them checking on us. We would stay at this hotel again.

desk staff are very friendly, and amenities such as the business center, fitness room, and breakfast were outstanding! Unfortunately, my room was left without routine service my one night there; also, the message light was flashing on my telephone in the room, but there were no instructions anywhere on how to respond

Next to a Skyline Chilis and near AFB . excellent location. Personnel were very nice and friendly; Rom was good. Bathroom and amenities were good and were arranged Would return here. Shopping nearby did not have time this trip

This was the third time that we stayed at this hotel. Everytime we drive west we choose this location. It is a good price and offers nice rooms and a good breakfast. We will probably stay here again te next time we head west.

Room was clean and hotel looks like it was updated recently, just has an older vibe to it. The shower water was crazy, hot then cold, warm, hot, cold. I usually stay at Hampton Inns, not quite up to those standards. Oh, and you can hear everything in the next room, or maybe they were just loud talkers.

Little cheese omelets for breakfast....nice touch! Within walking distance to several restaurants. Staff was very friendly, professional, and efficient. Room was cleN with amenities and plenty of hot water. Parking was well lit and secure.

Facility was located directly at the exit to the highway so it was easy to find. Quality of the rooms was excellent and the breakfast was very good. The staff in the breakfast area were very pleasant and attentive.

First time at this hotel, and we will be back. Could not ask for better staff. From the time we made our reservation until we picked up our car after our trip. Everyone was so helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Our flight left to early to try the free breakfast but the whole area was very clean and very nicely set up.

What a great hotel, very clean and the staff were pleasant, with in easy walking distance to a couple of eateries. We were on our way to Nashville for a Buick car event and this was about half way, we definitely stay here again if the need came up. Thanks Best Western for good hotels.

My spouse and I chose tom stay at BW+, because we had such a good experience the night before. This was expected to be a good experience. No hot water, roaches on bedside table. NO walk in shower for handicap room..

I got to the hotel for my final night stay in Ohio on this business trip. I noticed I left my phone charger at the previous hotel. The hotel staff lent me one for the evening. The breakfast was amazing. Perfectly cooked bacon and hard fried eggs. There were other things but these items really stood out.

The people at the hotel were all very friendly. Specifically the manager (I believe her name was Theresa), and the breakfast worker(Yolanda). They made me feel VERY welcome and had GREAT attitudes. I was stranded due to Hurricane Harvey. The staff gave me support and kept me caught up with the progress of the storm.

A very good deal - comfortable and well maintained - at a good price. Good location and good selection of restaurants near by. This will be my go-to stopover on the way to my son's college. The staff were very friendly, the room and common areas were clean and comfortable.

Very attractive property, comfortable, well appointed rooms, with a very friendly and helpful staff. It offers free breakfast and WiFi at a very affordable price. The property would benefit from another ice maker for the first floor.

My young son and I stayed for one night at the Best Western Plus Dayton Northwest, and we had no complaints, despite being given a third-floor room beside the stairwell. Like the other Best Western we'd stayed at the night before, there were plenty of accessible outlets on the table lamps for charging our devices, there was a microwave and refrigerator, and the room was clean and inviting. The staff was courteous and welcoming, and the continental breakfast provided a wide variety of tasty options. Unlike the hotel we'd stayed in the night before, the light switch for the bathroom was inside the bathroom, rather than in the hallway, and there was a nightlight on the wall-mounted hair dryer, both of which were differences we appreciated. The closest thing we have to a complaint? My son and I aren't much for bright nightlights, so we opted to cover up the blazing bright snooze button on the alarm clock. Thanks for a pleasant stay! We will most likely be back the next time we're visiting friends in town.

From check-in to check-out we had an enjoyable and very restful night. Our trip had been very difficult with road conditions and a funeral in Washington to start the trip and the evening in Ohio at the Best Western in Dayton was most enjoyable. Will try and find a Best Western on our routes in the future to make sure we enjoy each and every trip.

Alexis took care of our check in when we arrived. Her friendly, helpful smile and pleasant demeanor immediately put us at ease. She was so pleasant and easy to work with we were taken back by such friendly service. I commented to my wife that I would drive out of our way in future trips just to stay here. We were so impressed by Alexis, we made it a point to tell the morning General Manager Teresa about how Alexis had gone above and beyond to make our stay all the more enjoyable. Teresa was also extremely pleasant and caring, asking about the quality of our stay, and offering to help us with our program participation for Rewards points and making the check out a smooth easy process. Her friendly attitude and helpfulness is reflected in all the staff we encountered. Thank you Teresa and Alexis for making this the BEST STAY of our entire trip!!! We will be back here for sure!!

Very disappointed .. phone didn't work, room smelled, toilet running all night, doors are heavy and banged all night Long and because the phone didn't work I couldn't report it without getting dressed and passing the loud crowd in the hall way

We found the facility to be clean with good amenities. The breakfast area and selection were excellent. For us one very outstanding item was Kristen's assistance. Someone else made our reservation for a room with double beds. We checked in, went to our room (which was very nice), and discovered the problem. We contacted Kristen at the front desk, and she promptly -- and cheerfully -- changed us to a king. We would definitely stay here again.

Pretty average room overall. A tad cramped with extra furniture. Right beside the interstate so there's a ton of road noise. Don't even bother with the wifi, pretty sure you would be better off with an old Net Zero dial-up cd. I downloaded the Trip Advisor app on my phone and typed this review on it and the page still hasn't loaded on my laptop.

Although we had previously been happy with all our stays at BW, our opinion has changed. After 2 consecutive stays at a BW and BW Plus in a 10 day period and both stays being well below our expectations, we will not be staying at a BW ever again.

Stayed for 3 nights while on a business trip. Best Western has come a long way from where they were in the past. The room was nice, HBO cable provided, good breakfast and professional service. The downfall was the bathroom which looked like they focused on the sink and floor area, but not the bathtub. The plumbing in the tub has a really slow drain holding the water in the tub during a shower. The tiles were moldy. All in all, a good affordable hotel with one infraction. Made the difference from 4 to 3 stars.

Decent room, a little cramped with furniture. Hot breakfast was sausage, egg disks, waffle machine or pancake machine. Only 1 working ice and vending machine. Close to Air Museum. Easy access from interstate.

Spent five weeks in this hotel. The staff is incredibly gracious, caring and respond to the needs of their guests. They truely treated us as guests. They anticipated our needs, kindly inquired how our day was going and had answers t any questions. They even folded my laundry and brought it up to my room! Of special note is Judy, Kristin, Yolanda, Talisha and Beth, thank you ladies and God Bless you. The rooms were nicely furnished, clean and the breakfast was very good.

What a pleasant hotel. Everything about this place was first class. the room was spacious and comfortable and clean. The staff were all very nice. Had a great night's sleep in the middle of our long trip east.

Clean and conveniently located hotel with professional and attentive staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained, quiet and comfortable. Dining area is clean and well serviced by friendly servers In room wi-fi internet service works well and is fast. Since I was traveling with my grandsons, internet access was important and it worked well.

A decent place but I don't see the Plus angle of BW-Plus. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable, but 'full breakfast' (as stated on the BW website) certainly was *not* full. Only one working ice machine in the hotel. Night desk attendant was a bit spacey and didn't really provide all the info she should have. Overall, price was too high for the level of accommodation.

While the hotel itself was just fine (leaving a few things to be desired in a few areas), a woman who was working at breakfast, playing her Gospel music by the name of Yolanda was just exceptional. My family and I will never forget her kind smile, even kinder and thoughtful words and the joyful way with which she worked her job. I hope her managers take notice of her superb performance and give her credit where credit is due! The other staff I briefly encountered were also very nice and helpful :) But could we please add a pool, haha?

Very nice staff and wonderful service. Nice rooms and wonderful workout space. Visiting family who live close by and the convenience of this hotel makes it nice. Great dining and shopping close by. We have stayed several times at this particular Best Western and has always been a wonderful experience.

We have had a great experience at the Best Western by the airport in Austin TX. We will be back several time in the coming years to visit our grandson, and the staff was great and it was easy and close to their home.

we both had a good nights sleep during our stay. we enjoyed the rooms and the services and the staff was extremely helpful. even printed out the schedule of the Cleveland Indians baseball team for my bride so that she could make her plans . used the business center rather than the inroom internet. breakfast was very good , including the waffles .

This rooms were dirty and had a strange odor during my stay. my room had roaches crawling around the room. the setup in the rooms need updating. The best part of my stay was there were microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. the decor of the rooms were very outdated.

This Best Western Plus Hotel was Pleasant and Convenient Place to Stay while Attending the Dayton International Airshow and Visiting and Touring the National Museum of the United States of America.... With nearby restaurants and shopping available, we had a excellent time doing things we like to do....

Very enjoyable vacation loved it Everyone was very polite and helpful provided transportation to dinner and back provided printout directions for us to drive back home Breakfast was great got there late around 8:30 bacon was gone but had plenty of sausage IT WAS GREAT

Room was clean, hotel staff very helpful and decent breakfast. The hotel staff was able to help me with a few questions. Only complaints are the rooms are a bit dated and the tile floor areas exceptionally slick when wet which was annoying with luggage.

The members of our church attempted to pay for their rooms. Some payments were taken and cleared. Others were taken then rejected. This cause the church to be accused of not paying our bill. Member said they paid and thought it was done. Only to find out the hotel reversed their payment and billed the church.

First, I would like to apologize in the mix up with the billing. There was some misunderstanding on how the payments were be handled. I hope you will stay with us again in the future.

My wife and I booked a room for three days starting 5/26/17. It was not cheap - $385.92 including all taxes. The reviews we had seen were decent so we expected no issues. they ONLY good thing about the stay was the breakfast. Other than that, the room was small, had a beetle hiding in the drapes by the window and during the course of the stay the bed sheets were never changed. The A/C unit was very noisy and left the room feeling cold and clammy. The "behind-the-counter" staff was also not very friendly. We usually are not critical people, but this place left much to be desired. As a result of all of the above the place only warrants a rating of "Poor".

They were booked out the entire stay I was there and yet you never felt like they didn't have time for each and every need I had. I was in the area for a conference and was with many others attending the conference. As a whole, the group was everywhere at the same times. But they never made anyone feel like they were an inconvenience to the staff. From the airport shuttle pick up at noon to drop off at 4am...staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs. Thank you for that!

My husband and I spent one night at the Best Western Plus Dayton Northwest on June 6, 2017. We've stayed at numerous Best Westerns in diffrerent cities in the past. We were not overly impressed with the accommodations at this particular one. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, but the room wasn't as clean as I'd like. . My husband found a long, dark hair on his sheets (it was very late, so he didn't want to start changing rooms or beds). Also, the floor didn't seem to have been vacuumed thoroughly as it had a lot of white fuzz on the carpet. The next morning, we found that the breakfast area was lacking in some of the offerings we were used to at other Best Westerns. There was no instant oatmeal on the counter, so my husband had to ask for it. When the attendant provided it, he noticed that all the choices had sugar in them (he prefers plain). When I came down for breakfast, I wanted a hard-boiled egg but found only ones that were so overcooked that they were inedible. I mentioned to the attendant that the microwave appeared to be very old (it had a dial which she didn't know how to operate). She had no idea why the hotel had replaced a more modern one with this older-style model. It seems as though the hotel is trying to cut corners. The person on duty at the front desk was extremely nice, but she was obviously overwhelmed with trying to do 3 things at once. They need more help.

The room was large , modern and well equipped and clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a good recommendation for dinner at a local restaurant. However our room was very noisy during the night- we had to switch off the air conditioning unit and fridge overnight and use ear plugs because of the road noise. Many of the other motels were also located very near to the road so this may be a problem in other nearby motels. Ask for a room as far away from the traffic as possible. We had trouble getting the faucet for the bath to work. Breakfast food was fresh and adequate although we have had more choice at other BW's. Compared with many other BW's we have stayed in this motel was not of the high standard we have been used to.

My wife and I stayed here to go to the Air Force museum and ohio caverns. Kristen greeted us and had us checked in in a couple of minutes. The breakfast area was a very large and clean. The variety of breakfast food was so great. Coffee was hot and ready. Our room was clean and plenty of towels. Beds are very comfortable And the hallways are quiet. All the staff members we came across was helpful and made sure we had all amieties. If needed they would drop off and pick us up at the store or nearby restaurants. Great place!

The lack of high-speed internet was a huge issue for me. It probably brought what could have been an excellent experience down to mediocre. The sales manager was affable and quite professional at both check-in and check-out, but the weekend breakfast hostess was the saving grace of my stay here.

This was always a great place to stay for a great price. They have now priced themselves out of the market for a place to stay while traveling!! There are many more local places to stay and they are less expensive and have more amenities.

We spent three nights here. The hotel was very clean and our beds were very comfortable. Mary at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was really good with both hot or cold choices. Yolanda was in charge of the breakfast area. Sher did an awesome job of making sure all our needs were met. She was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. We really missed her when we arrived at our next destination. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Dayton. Ohio

My husband and I were in Dayton to meet up with my brother and sister-in-law for a few days of sightseeing. Unfortunately my S-I-L became ill and had to spend 2 days in the hospital. The staff ( including housekeeping, front desk and even breakfast staff ) were so accommodating to our every need, Waiting to hear from us every day to see if we were checking out or staying. Answering our questions and assisting with medical options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. Hotel was clean, easy access to restaurants, shopping, medical needs and major highways. We never did get to sight see but that's for another trip now.

This hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. There are multiple breakfast items for breakfast. The shuttle is an added feature. There are multiple restaurants and stores within walking distance. I visit 4-5 times a year and love it here.

Ice machine only available on one floor of hotel. No vending machines; just a few candy bars at the front desk for $2 each (cash only). Housekeeping came in the room before I checked out, just because she saw me taking some things to the car. She threw away my coffee and fresh fruit I'd just purchased. Never offered to replace it; just, "Oh. Sorry. I thought you had checked out. " Very poor service for a hotel that cost $150/night.

My stay was simply amazing! Mary took excellent care of me from the moment I walked in the door. There was a minor issue but the hotel manager Theresa handled it with no problem and Yolanda made me breakfast that was so good that I thought I was in my moms kitchen the food was definitely made with love! I was satisfied with the employees, service and cleanliness of room and lobby. I would stay at this motel again if I am in the area. There was not noise that kept us awake. I would recommend this motel to anyone who were traveling in this area.

Very close to Dayton Airport. It has a shuttle to airport and if you stay there you can leave your car take shuttle to airport and get car when you return. Have stayed there often and will do so again. Very close to Company 7 BBQ which has great food.

Excellent Service, Mary at the front desk knows a thing or two about customer service, she knows you by first name and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is above average. Hotel is clean, eateries are close to the properties.

Ok place like rest of the BW hotels same old breakfast and nothing special. there are lot of other choice at this exit near the airport so do your research before booking your hotel room. rooms are average and service is average.

I will definitely stay at this property again. Staff went out of their way to accommodate, FANTASTIC customer service! The rooms were nice, comfortable, quiet and in a safe area. The breakfast was GREAT! Hard workers and food tasted wonderful! Thank you for a great overnight stay!!

NICE SIMPLE HOTEL WITH GREAT POLITE STAFF> Having a bus shuttle from the airport was very convenient. Both van drivers were polite, prompt and helpful in getting us to nearby restaurant and supermarket.

We stopped in here for a good night sleep while road tripping. The room had some finishing issues from a recent refurbishment. It seamed like areas in were worked and other areas completely ignored. But the sleep was good the shower was hot and the breakfast was typical.

My brother & I stayed here after a day of visiting the National Museum of the Air Force, and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff, primarily Kristen at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful in offering tips and suggestions for the area, and even had discount coupons for some of the local restaurants. Our room was decent, the closet had only 3 hangers, but since we were staying for just 1 night, that really didn't matter. The complimentary hot breakfast was great, we made some waffles, and the sausage & eggs were good. Nice that the breakfast opened at 5:00AM, as we had to leave for the airport at 6. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the airport, which is very convenient. If we're ever in the area again, would definitely consider staying here.

This would not have been my first choice of stay, but due to some other events I ended up here. I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and conveniently located. My dislikes were the breakfast and the bed was uncomfortable. Everything else was good. If the option was present I would probably rate this a 3.5 or 3.75. It was a good for this class of hotel. I would not have a problem staying here again.

This hotel is convenient but I did not have a great experience. I did receive my early checkin and settled in my room. Appeared to be clean for a standard motel. Upon waking from a nap, I noticed a red "stain" on the comforter and simply pulled it off to set on the floor and just thought I would notify the front desk later of it. When I pulled it back, I was totally disgusted by the amount of stains on the second blanket!! I usually check for things like this but I let my guard down this trip and trusted you was in good hands. ( Yes, lesson learned!) I called the front desk and they did come change the bedding for which I am thankful! Due to this I will never stay here again. I do hope the owners of this establishment address this hygiene issue and remedy this problem,

Room did not have any clothing hangers particularly for evening gown for event we were attending. Staff was delightful and professional. Breakfast presentation and food service worker was fantastic. However, quality and flavor of food was NOT. Even the coffee was awful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean. The bed was very comfortable. breakfast was delicious. I needed a place to get a pedi/mani and the staff recommended two places and gave me the number and directions to both. They also had a wine opener at the desk.

This is just what my wife and I expect when we travel: a pleasant surrounding, clean and comfortable room and a decent breakfast selection. The hotel did all that plus provided a helpful and cheery staff

Our rooms were recently renovated and many of our guests really like our bathrooms with the granite vanity. Again, thank you for the review and for your loyalty to our brand.

Overall clean, served its purpose of staying the night, before continue the travel home, served breakfast to get a start for the day. Had coffee in room, microwave and fridge and soft towels, enough plugs for the electronics.

I stayed for two nights on a stop over to visit the USAF museum. Picked up at and returned to airport by friendly and efficient hotel transport; taxi to and from museum arranged without hesitation; spacious, clean, well-air conditioned room; cheerful staff who took care of my laundry with a Smile. Although the hotel has no restaurant, there is a hot breakfast available daily and there are many economical eateries within short walking distance - I sampled Tony's Italian about a mile away for very good Italian food, and Humpty's at the Clarion beside for a Great burger and fries with a fuller breakfast available a short walk away. The staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. I would happily stay again.

I hope you had plenty of time to tour the entire museum. Tony's Italian Kitchen is one of my favorite local restaurants in the area. If you are ever back in the area I would highly recommend Company 7 BBQ which also is a local restaurant. The convenience of Humpty's being next door to us makes it nice for guests that might want to have a drink. I hope that you will stay again if you are back in the Dayton area.

we were welcomed by a delightful lady in a spacious bright reception. we were on the 3rd floor and found the room to be basic, fine and clean. we did have a problem with the shower being very stiff but the handy man was called and it was sorted. we stayed for 9 nights in total. the breakfast was standard and i don't think they ever ran out of anything. There was plenty of seating and very relaxing. my only niggle was the hot food didn't change much ? about 5 days in the toilet flushing mech broke and we ended up changing rooms which was an effort we could have done without! overall staff generally were helpful and polite. the hotel had plenty of resturants nearby and getting around Dayton was easy as we were near main road. my real bug of the stay was the towels !!! i asked the front desk to tell the maids we did not want the towels changed daily. First day they were changed ( even though we had them hung up !) AND they only replaced with 2 ?? after a few days we gave up and the only way of keeping them out was to put up the 'leave alone' sign in the door !!! in this day of climate change this should have been an easy request ?

The Best Western, Dayton Northwest, exceeded our expectations for our trip to the Air Force Museum. The facilities, staff and breakfast were commendable. The Air Force Museum was a relatively painless 20 minute ride from the hotel. Expect to spend a minimum of 8 hours to tour the museum. If you don't like planes, don't go!

Fast and excellent service. Clean and convenient to I70. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Elevator for older folks. Places to eat near by. No smoking allowed. No pools. It would have been nice if they had a newspaper in the morning. The fitness room was excellent.

We stayed at this hotel on two seperate occassions, once on our way to Champaign, IL and once on our way back. Overall, on both occassions hotel staff was very friendly, and even the maids offered to help carry luggage as we were leaving. The first night the room was fine and the bed comfortable. The only thing I noticed was that the tub was worn and it looked like it had at one time been resurfaced and the new surface was wearing out. Breakfast was adequate and served in a large area with plenty of seating. Had we just stayed one night I would have rated it a four. On our second night, about a week later, we were placed in a third floor room and the room was quiet and the beds comfortable. But the bathroom was not as clean, primarily some mold, with water stains and cracks in the ceiling. Carpets were a bit dingy in both the hall and the room. Breakfast the next morning was poor. They ran out of some cereals and at one point, coffee. The attendant rather that getting more spent time chatting with another lady. When leaving I noticed the exterior could do with some landscaping. Grass had not been cut recently, trash was lying around and flower beds could use some weeding. If you are just looking for a place to stay for a night it is OK, but I would not stay here for any lenght of time.

This is gonna be a short review... But for all good reasons! I can't say enough good about this hotel! The staff was excellent, the rooms were clean and remodeled! The bed was comfortable. My stay was nice and quiet. The water was hot when it needed to be. The lounge and exterior was amazing! This hotel has definitely earned it's "PLUS!"

JMJ Stayed here because of it's closeness to Dayton. Used a Best Western because I had earned gift certificate through their Rewards Program. Everything was very clean and fresh looking. Breakfast was good; not the extremely high quality we had at a Best Western Plus in Austin TX but good. Our room was a little far but that made it very quiet: you aren't too far from the expressway; which we appreciated. Good value for the price and have been recommending friends to look into the Best Western hotels.

Stayed for two nights while on a short trip. Hotel was filthy overall. Carpets in hallway very nasty and stained. I was given a room key, when I opened door someone was in there and room was NOT vacant! Totally embarrassing. Then cards for our room stopped working all together and you could open the door with no key at all and we had to switch rooms. Beds weren't too bad. Found trash in our room in between the night stand and the wall. Breakfast was awful. One thing I can say is the staff for the most part was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, definitely will not stay here again.

Had no problems at all, everything went great. Got some great recommendations from the host at check in for dinner. Would recommend staying here. Had some road construction nearby, that would be the only issue but that had nothing to do with the hotel.

This hotel is nice and a value and I booked when I saw the fitness room. Went down this morning, there are 5 machines and 3 don't work at all, only the weight lifting was available, not exactly an aerobic workout. The treadmill broke (has power, lights on but doesn't work), recumbent bicycle broke (start button pushed in and broke), and StairMaster (powered but won't start) all broke. Almost comical, please remove 'fitness' room from your advertisement..

Stayed one night to get on plane and one night back. I have to agree with past review. The rooms are small. I stayed in other best western and rooms are much bigger. The room was so small we had too put luggage on other queen bed so we can walk around easier. Breakfast wasnt that great either. I looked at square dried out eggs did not even touch them. I grabbed a danish that was not that fresh in fact was rather on the hard side. Coffee was good so I dunk my danish in coffee to be able to eat it. We checked out at three in the morning no one at desk . two Girls giggling at the breakfast area . So we left key on desk and left. We where in hurry and needed to get to airport. We really expected a receipt bill under our door but did not get it. They keep asking if we got bill under the door. No we didnt and first check out we left with out a bill. So I dont know if your suppose to have bill under the door or not. The second checkout she printed one out for us. I really dont know if We would stay here again or not. Maybe Hampton next time.

I chose this hotel as I am a Best Western rewards member. On the trip site I used it had many good reviews and the price offered for the room was very reasonable. I was very pleased with my whole experience. From Christine/Christie(?) the afternoon desk clerk who checked me in, to the quality of the room,and the offerings of the breakfast buffet. The room itself was very spacious and nicely decorated. The A/C was EXCELLENT and very quiet as well. In fact I actually had to turn it up a couple of notches as it was TOO cold at times. Although the hotel itself was just off I-70 you wouldn't know it as there were a bunch of trees obstructing the view of the highway as well as the noise. The breakfast buffet was good with a huge offering of different cereals,muffins,waffles,pancakes,sausages,and eggs every morning. The one morning I actually woke up and left later than expected, I returned in the evening to find my room had not been made up. When I spoke with the desk clerk about this she was very apologetic and offered to go up to clean the room herself. As she was the only person working the front desk,I did not want her to leave it unattended just to clean my room so I declined her offer. She called me later to tell me she had awarded me an extra 1000 point to my rewards account for the inconvenience. I only have a few complaints, one is that the carpeting in the hallways could have used a good deep steam cleaning. The other was that the fitted sheets did not properly fit the mattress. As I usually toss and turn in my sleep, I usually woke up in the morning wrapped up in them. The last complaint is that there was no pool. Now this is a minor complaint as I very very rarely swim in a motel's pool but seeing as the daily temps in the area were in the mid to high 90's while I was there and I spent most of my time wandering about outside, I really could have used a dip in the pool at the end of the day! As I didn't realize there was a lot more to do in the Dayton area than I expected, I do plan on returning here again . When I do I will definitely be staying here.

Rooms are relatively standard in size, but everything excels in operation from the highly efficient front desk staff, beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms with all the possible amenities, and upgraded items for breakfast. The hotel is located about 5 miles West ( 0ne exit) from the airport

I was recently staying at this hotel, as I found it on priceline.com at a good rate. I have always had good luck with Best Western's and this one was no exception. Friendly welcoming staff, good variety of breakfast, comfortable room and close to places to eat dinner and get some groceries if needed. I was in town for business and it was only about 25 minutes an easy I-70 drive. The room was always at a comfortable temperature and was serviced daily. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone to attend.

We were surprised never having stayed at a Best Western. (We like the Hilton chain, but they were all sold out.) Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Well maintained. Bathtub needs some maintenance but all an all we were pleased for an overnight stay. They have breakfast in morning, but we went elsewhere.

I chose to stay in this Best Western during a quick weekend getaway and I was not disappointed. The staff was very helpful throughout the stay from check-in to check-out. Our room was modern and incredibly clean. This hotel is right off of the exit making it very convenient, however because it is secluded there is no noise issues inside. At this point, I was already beyond pleased with my stay. Yet, the breakfast just added to that. With great variety and helpful staff for assistance, the free breakfast buffet was the perfect icing on the cake for this excellent hotel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. Thanks Best Western for a wonderful stay!

Best Western Plus offers excellent accommodations for a pleasant, welcoming place to stay. The rooms look and smell clean and fresh, the showers have constant hot water, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioner/heater adjusts well for comfort day and night, the breakfast buffet offers an excellent range of foods to choose from, and the staff is welcoming and friendly and seeks to make sure you are well taken of.

DONT STAY HERE!!! I would never recommend this Best Western. These guys are horrible. April and Peggy on weekend nights at the front desk provided the worst customer service I have ever received much less from a Best Western Plus! My room bath tub was clogged so I couldn't shower. They said there was nothing they could do until 8 am because they were sold out and the handyman wouldn't be there til the AM. When I called back they again they finally admitted they had one room they would "upgrade" me to. It has 1 king and a pull out. I informed them we both had bad backs and needed two selerate beds. I suggested that since they could re rent my room and had already offered me the "upgrade" why not let us shower in the other room and sleep in our original. They agreed and brought us the key. Only to tell us they needed them back when we were done tonight so they could clean it and resell the room tonight. I informed her I needed to shower now after a 28 hr drive from Idaho and in the morning around 5 am before I left for KY for the day. She refused stating I could only shower once tonight because they were going to resell the room for $160. I was pretty upset and asked what the logic behind not letting us use it since our room was out of commission and she had already offered us the room. She could only say she couldn't give me two rooms even though that's basically what she had earlier suggested. Either way both rooms were out of commission for the night. When I informed her my only option was to cancel she stated, "that's fine we can resell your room for more so it's not a problem ". Having booked with Kayak I got a discount. So, I had to uproot my belongings after she told me I only had 10 minutes to get out with my 14 year old cousin at 12:30am or be charged a $78 cancellation fee. I have never had such a horrible experience with a hotel in my life.

The room appeared fine on our late arrival, although a little too much furniture. It was a cute bathroom arrangement--maybe a recent remodel? As I unpacked though I came upon a number of things wrong. There was no coffee or tea for the coffeepot. Refrigerator had no freezer (unable to refreeze our cool-its). But best of all were the very loose electrical sockets. I was able to plug the desk lamp (which had been flickering) into another which was part of the desk, however the flashing alarm clock could not even be unplugged! The electrical boxes were not mounted to anything. I slept on the other side of the bed to keep from touching it during the night -- and I covered the alarm clock with a wash cloth. The beds had very old "weak" blankets. There was only one waste basket in the room. We didn't dare use the safety bar in the shower. That also was not anchored. All fittings in the shower were loose. The shower curtain and the head-level soap dish were dirty (or stained). The breakfast area was much too small for the number of guests and the layout is poor -- too many corners so difficult to access what is there. First impressions can be deceiving.

Our flight to Chicago was cancelled due to weather and we had no other option but to rebook and fly out the next day. This hotel was offering a reduced rate for "distressed passengers ." A shuttle was sent to pick up us and others in the same situation and Peggy was a welcoming person after being disappointed about not being able to go home. At the hotel we were greeted by Kristen who was very pleasant and set us up with a room. Overhearing some of us talking about wishing we had wine, we were offered a ride to get some wine! Peggy and Kristen recommended a place for take out and what began as a group of "distressed passengers" became a night of getting to know new people and making the best of an unexpected layover. Peggy and Kristen went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel was quiet, neat and clean and I recommend it. Close to the airport and an excellent staff make this a great place to stay in Dayton.

Excellent customer service is what we were served at this Best Western hotel. Our flight was canceled Sunday evening and we were unfamiliar with hotels near the Dayton International Airport. So, at the recommendation of the airline agent at the counter, we reserved a room at the Best Western Plus Dayton Northwest. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Kristen took our reservation by phone and told us when to expect the hotel shuttle. Their shuttle bus made getting there simple; and Pegi, who drove us, was friendly and helpful. We got the distressed rate as stranded travelers. Kristen checked us in and even offered us water and chips. We were even offered a ride to some nearby restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was included and quite good. The breakfast seating area was large and well-appointed. As front desk staff, Kristen and Pegi were fantastic. And from what I observed, they treated all their guests to the same high level of service. Should we stay in Dayton in the future, this hotel will no doubt be our first choice.

I have always experienced great service and exceptional value at Best Western and this particular hotel hits all the usual high marks. The staff at this location is incredibly friendly and accommodating, helping me with an anticipated very late arrival due to airline delays. This hotel has very nice upgraded rooms and the latest in modern conveniences including a refrigerator, microwave, and free WiFi. The complimentary hot and cold breakfast items were all freshly presented and there was a nice selection. The front desk helped register me for a summer promotion I had somehow missed in my e-mails. I highly recommend this hotel equally for those passing-through or planning a longer stay in the northwest Dayton area. You will not be disappointed.

Good choice if you like a hot breakfast, they offer both pancakes and waffles as well as some meat and egg selections. Very helpful front desk staff. Only drawbacks center upon the ongoing road construction at the adjacent exit that can sometimes cause a short delay and while the hotel is clean it is starting to show a little wear and is beginning to show some signs of needing some TLC. Internet service can get a little sluggish when the hotel is full but it is okay most of the time.

I travel to the area frequently for work, and frankly spend more nights in a hotel than I'd like to think about. Having that range of experience at a variety of properties, I can say with confidence that the staff here is what makes the difference. They consistently and without exception go above and beyond to make sure your stay is exceptional. The rooms are updated and extremely clean. Theresa does an excellent job managing the property, and it's clear from her management style that she really cares - it shows in the details. The front desk staff remember you by name and truly are the epitome of professionalism that many hotels could learn from in ensuring recurring business. I have a choice of where I can stay when I'm in town, but have chosen this property again and again because of how well I'm treated here. I'd recommend it for a night if you're passing through, or if business brings you to the area...the staff here will treat you right and ensure you an enjoyable stay, every time.

This is always a great place to stay. But be sure to book early if there is a Air Show in town. On this stay we could only get a room for Thursday night the weekend was booked full. Rooms are clean, Staff is friendly, Elevators are fast, Breakfast is okay and well stocked and always someone there to help if you need it.. Wi Fi is fair, Also a lounge and a few computers. I also asked them to copy something for me and they did it right away. Highly Recommended Motel

I'm sorry we could only accommodate you for Thursday night. I'm happy to hear that the staff was friendly. We pride ourselves on making the guest feel welcome and part of our family. My oldest brother recently passed away and my Dad and I, along with my other brother and his wife all stayed at this hotel. The staff was amazing. They were very sympathetic to our situation and bent over backwards to make us feel better, including giving us a bereavement discount which was more than I expected!! I won't tell how much of a discount it was, but let me just say that it helped alleviate the pain of our situation. I stayed in room 104 and the room was very clean and comfortable with all amenities included. The stay included a free breakfast each morning with a variety of choices. The only minor complaint? Lack of variety in breakfast meat. But that's insignificant compared to how we were treated. The staff was amazing and made sure we were comfortable in our stay. My advice? If ever in the Englewood, Ohio area, STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I would even consider staying here at their regular room rate!!

So we were assigned this hotel for the 2016 Warrior soccer tournament. Obviously, when a hotel gets taken over by about 100 boys for a soccer tournament it can create some mild havoc. The main issue I had with this hotel is that 1) our room was never cleaned and 2) I needed clean towels at one point (since the room wasn't cleaned) - I went to the front desk and the clerk was completely MISSING - nowhere to be found. I waited, and waited and waited. Finally, I went myself to the laundry room, found clean towels on a shelf and took the ones we needed for the next morning.

This place passed my expectations. We were traveling with a group and this is a great place because of the amenities. Good breakfast. Lots of room in the eating area for breakfast. Foods were prepared well and kept hot and plenty of it. Clean rooms and well appointed. WiFi in room. Easy to get to. Convenient to freeway although there was construction on the on/off ramps. Easy to find and convenient to eating places and airport.

I was travelling from Indianapolis to Columbus. This location is seconds off Interstate 70 and close to Dayton Airport. Friendly staff and I'd stay here again on my travels. There are a few places to eat nearby if you wish not avoid driving although they are not "top of the range". Despite being close to I70 there was no road noise at all, phew. Good sized room and the fridge is enclosed in a cabinet to help keep the noise down.

The room was clean and looked as if it had been remodeled in the last few years. My only concern was that the room available for us, 4 adults, had double sized beds. It was small but not that big of a deal. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was typical and the lady working the food was very nice and kept things filled and fresh.

Best western hotels always meet the expected standards of hot water and clean sheets! Some exceed and some don't. This property was nice. My main issues were the lack of good internet connection and brick-like pillows. Otherwise, just fine.

After a long day on the road was perfect place just off the highway close to food places. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful with assisting us with the best places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable.....

We picked this hotel because it was close to the places we wanted to go to. They had a nice breakfast and the people were very friendly. Had a great maid. Only bad thing was the construction right when you turn into it.

Friendly, helpful staff. Walked into our room and it looked, smelled and felt clean. Plenty of room with 2 beds, a table with 2 chairs, a desk and chair, armoire and dresser, microwave, fridge and coffee maker plus a nice sized bathroom. Good internet speed/connection. Decent assortment for breakfast and is kept well maintained and filled by the woman overseeing it. We were very pleased with our stay and would come here again.

Thank you for the excellent review! We recently renovated and are pleased with the updates which includes a microwave and refrigerator in every guest room. We also added some items to our breakfast and I am happy that everything was great with your stay and look forward to staying with us again if your in the Dayton area again.

Pros: clean, next to I-70, several restuarants nearby, elevator, ample parking, desktop power outlets, large bathroom. Cons: only one small waste basket, mattress too firm, On second day of stay, had to wait till 3pm for maid service. Firm mattresses may be cheap, but they are very uncomfortable. I will not stay here again because of mattress problem. I need my sleep.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We have renovated rooms with new carpet, new lighting, new large vanity in the bathrooms and microwaves and refrigerators in every guest room. I apologize about the beds, they are new beds and are a little firm due to them being new. We do have some beds that are not as new and are not as firm. I hope you will stay with us again.

Hamvension is always a crazy time in Dayton and it is great to have a friendly place you can count on to relax early in the morning and with all the hams crazies after a busy day, Plenty of room to sit around and compare what you got and where. Coffee is always on. And WHERE did you find THAT is always good fun. Staff is friendly and will help with most anything. Maps and routes on the desk at check in for the ones that are new or may have forgotten is just one more of their hospitality extras. Been staying there for years and plan on continuing.

Don't Stay Here Long then a night if you are suing a bed. It is uncomfortable as they only provided a full size bed which is not comfortable for two people I had to sleep with my arm on my head. We also had to squeeze a cot in for my daughter and there wasn't enough room left. Breakfast was so so. We only stayed here because my wife and daughter needed to catch a flight and I had to drive her car to New York.

picked this hotel because it was a "plus" expecting a clean comfortable room. The room was dusty which we had to clean; the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast was meager, very little selection; bagels were more than a day old; coffee watery.

We decided to stay here on our trip south on I-75. Even though it was slightly off our route,it was well worth the extra 5 minutes. Set in a Forrester area just off a main intersection, it was the perfect setting for a quiet restful night yet easy to find. the beds were great! They also directed us to a great Barbecue restaurant just a block away. We will be back!

Nothing spectacular, but clean and convenient. Restaurants nearby. Easy to find right of I 70. Was a lot of construction on the highway, but does not cause major problems. The free breakfast was better than most.

The hotel is right off I-70 and there are plenty of eateries and places to shop nearby. The room was up-to-date, the staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. The breakfast was the only downside. It's the typical free breakfast offered at this type of hotel - dry and processed foods. There are plenty of breakfast places nearby.

The highway access is great for anyone traveling east or west on I-70 and within 5 minutes from I-75 north or south. We have stayed here several times and always had a good experience. It is one exit from the Dayton airport on I-70. It is minutes away from our favorite BBQ restaurant, Company 7 BBQ,. It is also not far from the US Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn OH.

Stayed here overnight on a trip to Indianapolis, as the hotels in Indianapolis were all full due to a convention. Hotel is conveniently located off the highway, is nice and comfortable and offers great value for a short stay. Breakfast was very standard for this level of hotel and a bit crowded, but the staff were trying hard to keep everything moving. Rooms were comfortable and ample parking available. Wouldl definitely recommend this for those considering a short stay in similar situations to our trip

Update hotel great staff and pretty good breakfast I would recommend a stay!! It was me and my wife one a trip to Connecticut and this was a great stay and it's not that far from the Airforce Museum which is enormous so make sure you have time if you go!

I wasn't told upon check-in that my in-room phone wasn't working; when I went to the desk to tell them, hey offered to move me, but I was already unpacked. The toilet wasn't working; it took over 4 hours for it to be fixed (a simple fix), because the staff was busy with shuttle rides. Plumbing noisy.

The issue has been resolved and I sincerely apologize that the staff did not inform you prior to checking you in. I also am sorry for issue with the toilet. Friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The service was great, opened breakfast 2 hours early as we needed to be up and out early. Even though the hotel was completely booked, they made everyone feel welcome. Will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our overnight stay while traveling south. Room was clean, fresh and relatively quiet even though it was located next to the highway, not far from I 75. Breakfast was good, hot and satisfied or early morning needs before we resumed our travel. We would recommend this hotel to friends.

We flew into DAY and arrived at 10:50 PM so we made reservations here. The desk clerk was great and check in took about 5 min. Great room and Very quiet. The place is very clean with a limited Breakfast included. We also stayed the night before our 6:40 AM departure and all was the same. I would highly recommend this hotel while visiting the Northwestern Dayton area.

I had considered staying at the Clarion next door but they had a policy where they wanted they stay prepaid. I called this motel and the staff was far friendlier and I was not disappointed. Every member of the staff was attentive to our every need helped us to find places to eat and shop. I cannot say enough of how great the staff was. The room was great and clean.

I stay at this hotel once a month for a couple of days for the last couple of years and I rarely have any issues during my stay. Compared to other hotels in the area, you can't beat the value. Clean, new décor, excellent staff, decent breakfast. Nothing in the area comes close for the money.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean and nice to look at. Multiple option for internet was very nice to have. The room was very nicely remodeled and very well kept. Breakfast had variety and was pretty tasty.

Over the past few years we have taken I-75 coming home from Florida and this is our second night (three driving). This Best Western has consistently provided a great nights sleep, good food and a front desk staff (Peggy) making our stays a pleasure. There are budget restaurants within a mile (we went to Wendy's this time) and others. like roadhouses, nearby to. As well, it is a few miles away from I-75; but not too far.

My experience was it was a very clean room and the bed surprised me for how comfortable it was and was better than many other hotels I've stayed. The shuttle service was prompt and very good. I would say here again.

Overall an excellent stay. Staff was very hospitable in getting me a quiet room for a great deal in timely fashion. Rooms were very clean with all the necessary ammenities and comfortable beds. Hot breakfast was great and shuttle to the airport was prompt and on time. Planning on stay here many more times in the next couple months.

I travel for a living, This BW in Englewood,Ohio is one of my favorite places to stay. It is conveniently located off I-70 and this exit has several choices for food and fuel. The hotel itself is very modern and clean, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Check-in/Out was quick and painless. The hot breakfast was a very pleasant surprise! I usually skip the breakfast at many places but this one had a wide variety of breakfast food. I will certainly stay here again. I wish all the places I have to stay at were as comfortable as this one.

We chose this Best Western because of its easy access from and to I-70. Our very friendly desk clerk lady placed us right inside a secondary entrance, because we'd asked for minimal luggage transport. Our well-lighted room was very nicely appointed in blue and beige with complimentary abstract paintings. There were two comfortable full beds, microwave, refrigerator, dresser, wardrobe,desk table with chairs. The bathroom was large and clean with a three-angle mirror. Breakfast was served 7:00 AM - 10:00 on Sunday. My wife and I had cheese omelettes, sausage, bagels, and juice. There were also waffles, condiments, cherry compote, apple compote, and coffee.

The hotel gives an impression that safety and cleanliness. The lobby is modern and fairly spacious. The hotel has been recently renovated so rooms are quite new in appearance. The internet works very well and is fast and easy to connect. Staff were very courteous and helpful, the cookies were good as well! A little difficult to find due to construction in the area.

I'm used to Hilton hotels. My husband wanted to try Best Western because it was cheap. $80+. So we did. He loved it and the free breakfast. Me, not so much. Loved the outlets at the bedside table. Bathroom was decent sized. That's where it ends. Door had gaps in it. Not tight. No fan in bathroom. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outside in the halls including the adjoining room's television ALL night long. Bathroom shower wasn't as clean as I would have liked with hair laying in and in it. Breakfast wasn't good. But my husband loved it. You get what you pay for. Many will love this. I travel for a living, I like my Hiltons.

Let me get this part out of the way right off the top; It was abundantly clear that the toilet had not been cleaned following the last guests' stay. That got us off to a pretty icky start. We had checked in late in the evening, and so decided not to call the front desk with that problem, since we figured there was probably no housekeeping staff on site at that time. Beyond that, the whole place feels a little down on its luck. All the common areas have sort of an unpleasant disinfectant odor. The HVAC doesn't have a "fan on" option, so you hear the AC cycling on and off all night. Starting very early in the morning, we could hear the elevator "ding ding" over and over again. Very slow sink drain. A toilet that flushed in slow motion (which didn't help at all with that first problem I mentioned). Scratchy cheap bedding. Mold creeping up the bath tiles. Slow and balky WiFi. We had booked for two nights. When I went down the following morning to tell the desk clerk that we wanted to leave early and to have the second night charge refunded, she agreed to do so without even asking why, or whether there was a problem, etc. My wife later went up and told about the toilet, and they refunded the first night as well. You can do a lot better, including in the same price range.

Well taken care of hotel I didn't like the way air conditioner work but everything else was fine. The breakfast offered a good choose of food and was really good for the price. The help tried to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

i enjoy my stay unfortunately there was a soccer team that check in during my stay which made it hard for me to sleep. The clerk change my room fairly quickly and i discover i didn't have a phone in my room. Other than that the decor was nice the room was clean and the complimentary breakfast was good. I didn't like the shuttle service wasn't very helpful for me because it didn't run when i needed it. SO have your own transportation.

I was told that hotel did not have any King size rooms even though I had a confirmed rewards member reservation in writing. No attempt was made to rectify the situation such as a reduced rate or discount. Hotel was ordinary with 20 year old decor and rubbery eggs breakfast. Didn't expect much and was not disappointed!

Typical Best Western....nice motel, relatively new, breakfast was a typical ..........problems with the service. Ask for extra pillows...still waiting for them.....they made a mistake on my bill.....they also left a used bar of soap in the shower
