Best Western Inn

Nice respite on our long roadtrip. Nothing fancy or luxurious here but a nice place for a good night's sleep. Parking could be tricky for those hauling a trailer or a huge vehicle. Lobby is nice, rooms are great, and staff was super. Easy on and off the highway with a variety of businesses closeby. Breakfast is nothing fancy but good and plentiful.

I wasn't informed during my reservation that I would need a $150 cash deposit upon arrival, which was money I didn't really have and affected my ability to pay for my rooms when I was trying to check in. One of the front desk ladies was very unprofessional and you could tell she wasn't good at customer service. When she asked for the cash deposit, I wanted to know why it was needed and she just offered to cancel my reservation even though I had nowhere else to stay that night. Room cleanliness was mediocre. It was mostly just hairs I found in the tub but there were a lot so it was kind of gross to find during my shower (they definitely weren't my hairs and I was staying solo). Microwave was really old and the timer was broken so I wasn't really sure how long I was heating up my food for. Breakfast was good and the rest of the room was fine. I didn't hate my stay but the check in was especially frustrating.

Since the last time we stayed here (pre-COVID), this stay was night and day... for the worse. Check in staff was pleasant and personable. Unfortunately that was tge best part of our stay. Our room smelled like old tobacco, despite being a nonsmoking hotel. The toilet seat was not clean and when I informed the front desk and asked for it to be cleaned before our second night we were assured that it would be... but it wasn't. Room got stuffy, turned on tge AC now it smells like mildew meets old tobacco meets a high school boys lockerroom. Breakfast... the juice dispensers were found to have mold growth in the spigot and an almond milk in the self serve fridge was so old it was separated. On a less serious note, I think they must have found closeout lots of mismatched carpet. Asthetically not pleasing but obviously no upkeep since installed. Our socks were black from walking on the carpet in the room. Normally I would as to speak to tge GM but we were on a tight schedule so I didn't have the opportunity to. However, this is not recoverable, I do not recommend this property and we will not return.

The check in was friendly, efficient and informative. The common areas were neat and well maintained. The room smelled good, had little extras that were nice such as face cleaning towelettes. We had one issue, although the toilet had the sanitized sash across the seat, it had obviously been used and unflushed. Which led us to wonder if it indeed had been cleaned. This was the only issue and we have been contacted by a manager since our visit to apologize and assure us that this would be looked in to.

We had a very easy check-in by a pleasant and friendly young lady. The hotel lobby was clean-looking and modern. We walked into the dining room and it was also clean and modern looking. One thing I noticed they had a yogurt machine, a machine for orange and apple juice, and available tea bags. It was clean and tidy. The room was SUPER CLEAN including the tops of the light fixtures and picture frames! The room was a current double queen bedroom and was roomy for the two of us. The bathroom was very clean but a little small. It had plenty of clean towels and face clothes. The carpet was clean-looking and in a modern design. The beds were properly made and smooth linen including the sheets. The furniture was modern in style also with a flat-screen TV. There was a coffee maker with supplies, a refrigerator, a microwave, an iron and ironing board, and a safe in the room. We talked to a very friendly and smiling maid who helped us with easy-to-follow directions to a couple of stores. A big shout-out to Nicki! Their website stated a continental breakfast was included but it not only provided a toaster and bread, bagels, and spreads but also had the equipment to make pancakes. They also provided other breakfast food of eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, and biscuits and gravy. They also had a yogurt machine available all day and night. Here's a hint. If you don't like just plain vanilla yogurt add some jelly to it and it tastes great! The only problems we had were coming home from an event and uncovering a urine stain adult size on the bottom sheet. I also tried to reach the desk clerk after 12 p.m. with no one answering the phone after calling a few times the same night regarding the urine stain I uncovered. The next evening we viewed the same receptionist standing in the parking lot with a friend without any way for a guest to reach the front desk. I did contact the manager of the hotel regarding these two issues.

I was put in a room with only 1 small window that was so dirty I could not see out of it & it had a window A/C. Vending had yr old expired snacks & ice machine out of order. Vent in bathroom was hanging off the wall. Even though Breakfast was from 8 to 10 not much was ready at 9 am. Staff was pleasant but I will not revisit.

I hate writing bad reviews because the staff at these places are always so friendly and do their best. But when there's not much to work with... This is one of those roadside motels that isn't smoking anymore but still smells because nothing in it has been replaced since. Wifi was so bad I couldn't even load my email, which is apparently a known issue. The front desk gal said there are good days and bad days. She herself doesn't even try to get on it. It wasn't the worst motel I've ever stayed at but it really wasn't great.

Let's be honest, anything under $80 a night is going to be questionable. This one came to a surprise. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice bathroom with excellent water pressure. Breakfast was similar to more expensive places. And they kept it stocked. For a quick night stop to sleep, this was perfect and a great price. Only few downfalls: Pool was drained and closed. The bedroom had adjoining doors so you can hear the neighbor through them. Slightly outdated.

It is right off the highway so easy to find and get to. Easy check in, lobby is nicely updated. Sign on the desk warn of the challenge in using the shower. Our room on the second floor at the far end of the hallway was clean but smelled like stale smoke. Everything was fine except shower and sink taps are reserved, hot is on the right and cold on the left. Breakfast was served off the lobby and had a good selection with a staff member there if any issues encountered.

Fairly typical best western…. Internet coverage poor as you get to the ends of the hotel.. definitely worth the price. Stay way from stairwells if you want a quiet night… room was large and allowed me to plug in my streaming device, although internet was too poor to use

Always clean rooms with the most comfortable beds. Pool is always clean and fun for everyone. And the staff is so wonderfully friendly and go above and beyond. My son who has some special needs and sleep issues actually sleeps better here then at home sometimes lol

I've stayed at this BW previously, March 2023. And that stay was excellent. My main reason that I'll never stay here again.. New management? July overnight stay, the day shift manager told me that they require a $150 cash deposit (and a prepaid booked stay) So, I was forced to find an ATM machine down the road to get cash. Upon returning, the employees were smirking at me. Because I had booked through Priceline, I couldn't get a refund. I was forced to get cash! Also, this requirement, doesn't apply to all guests! Upon check out, the employee didn't know of the deposit, until I said something. I feel this is discrimination towards solo females. And indirectly labeling me as if I was a hooker. Also, the room tables by bed and window were grimy sticky to the touch. Not clean! Room #205..

This place cracked me up. It's such a 70s/80s motel that's somehow survived intact to 2023. And I don't mean that in a bad way, necessarily - it's things like the room layout (sink outside the WC), the older appliances (a microwave with a dial!), and the general look of the place (other than the folding automatic doors at the main entrance, which were pretty neat - yes, I'm easily entertained). Everything was fine, and the price was great. The only reason I docked a star was that the service wasn't the friendliest. I'd give it 4.5, really.

Pool was brisk but everything else was great! Well stocked, clean, the elevator seemed new s well as the interior. Breakfast was the best we have had at this price point. Even the eggs and bacon were good! Pancake machine, toaster items, name brand oatmeal packets, fresh fruit, yogurt bar, many juices. They even had almond milk available. Room was spacious and clean. No fridge but those sounds annoy me. No microwave glowing in the night either. No ice available.

This place was fantastic! The room was great and the personnel were fantastic! The breakfast was excellent! This hotel is very well located and close to a great number of restaurants for your dining pleasure!

Check in staff was super friendly. The room is what I expected for the price we paid ($71). The breakfast was fantastic and the worker in charge of it was very friendly and doing a great job keeping things refilled and clean. We had a great experience and would stay again.

Just some relaxing family bonding time in a new environment a place to clear our heads and not worry about the things that keep us up at night and just be able to have a genuinely good time with each other without the hold backs

Traveling to home in PA from MI on turnpike and severe thunderstorms and flash flood advisory I called Best Western and front desk attendant was compassionate and friendly stating that we come to BW hotel immediately and she would have room for us profoundly autistic son and extremely nervous while driving in storm so he laughed when we pulled into BW Hotel

Best Western offers great prices for hotel stays. But they do say you get what you pay for. Upon arrival to the non-smoking room it was inevitable to ignore the smell of cigarettes. The toilet didn't flush and the door handle was so loose it looked like someone had tried to break in. Furthermore, the door was so crooked and hanging there was a gap on the top left hand corner of the door. I brought this to the attention of hotel staff and 2/3 issues were partially addressed. For the cigarette scent they sprayed the room about 5 times and it certainly did not make a difference. The toilet was fixed but for the door I was advised to use the lock inside and I should be okay. Lastly, while in fitness center only the treadmill worked.

The cleanliness of the bathtub could've been handle a lot better. I shouldn't gave had to clean it an still was charged full orice on the room. The clerk should've adjusted the room rate since I had to clean the tub.

7am. I wanted to take a shower NO HOT WATER. I was going to tell the desk clerk when I checked out but she never asked me how my stay was. Terrible "breakfast". No meat-stale bagel. Its great if you are into muffin & gravy,

Old mattress and smelly room carpet. The room and bath were clean. Full breakfast, as advertised with an egg and meat entre. Hallway carpet and lobby looked newly remodeled. Jacuzzi with mirrors in bedroom...why?

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in ever! Room smelled of cigarette smoke, bathroom was disgusting, neighborhood does not seem safe. Furniture is stained and I'm afraid to take my shoes off as the carpeting is dirty. Tried to call Best Western customer service but after trying to explain to not one, but two associates, I gave up. They only know how to read from a script and if you deviate from their script, they become obstinate. Stay away or go sleep at a truck stop. Probably will have nicer accommodations.

Great place for a layover. i felt rested the next day. Hot breakfast with juice & fruit with was nice. I always look for a Best Western when traveling. Best Western has best value and bang for the buck. Easy to find in interstate exit signs

Too small flat sheets instead of fitted ones so wouldn't keep tucked in and I got tangled up in those all night. Painfully slow internet. Good TV selections. Breakfast offerings were average. Nothing special here overall.

we had a group of 21 adults and 17 kids that stayed for 7 days while playing at Sports Force park. Debbie and Stacey were extremely accommodating all week. They were pleasant and helpful with our group. Breakfast was always ready on time if not early. The heater on the pool wasn't working which sucked for the kids. There was 2 days in which the rooms wern't cleaned. The hotel was in a good area in which there were plenty of places to eat and shop.

It took at least 5 minutes for staff to show up to check in. The rooms were very dirty, outdated. The rooms smelled musty when you entered. The pool was ice cold. It was not heated. The breakfast was good.

choose this hotel because it was close to where we were having a family Reunion and from the online photos it seemed to be clean had a nice meeting area that we as a family can sit and talk in the evening after everything winds down, first the rooms were outdated not as pictured on their website, door knobs broken, horrible carpeting that was so dirty you didnt want to walk on it with your bare feet and because of lack of staff rooms were not cleaned properly, the front desk clerk that i later learned was the Manager was nice as long as you didnt have any concerns then she was a totally different person who was very combative, she said we couldnt use the meeting room because none is gonna come in there and sanitize behind us and kept the lights tuned off on us, so the 2nd night we all just sat in the parking lot with chairs and had a good time, but i stayed a night after everyone left and saw another group having a good time in there after 10 pm with no problem of course this was her night off, i later learned she had brain surgery she also shared that she wished someone would end her life she also commented on everybody that came up to her with issues that weekend without realizing those were all my family members she is very unprofessional and should not be left alone at the desk to handle customers. overall we were not treated as paying customers

We recently spent a night here and could not have been more pleased..thecroomsxwerexclean andcspacious,the rates very reasonable and the staff very curious and friendly who genuinely took pride in the place and their role to make the place since and be inviting..

Our stay was very pleasant. Hotel staff was very nice. We checked in with ease and were very pleased to find that the breakfast in the morning had multiple choices as well as alternative milk for those of us who are lactose intolerant. Our room was clean and everything was well stocked. Our breakfast was hot and fresh and we would definitely stay here again if we are traveling through.

I was driving (alone) from Chicago to Philly for a month long trial in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. A little less than half way, my tire went flat. It was an overcast, cold, rainy evening in late February, 2022 and I had no idea what my location was. I hadn't seen any mile markers, my GPS didn't pinpoint my location, there were no tourist signs, no buildings or landmarks...nada! After being able to get in touch with a tow truck company and dispatch helping to find my location, a tow truck came and the driver was able to just change the tire. (Their excellent review will be posted separately). The driver explained that I wasn't too far from an exit where I could find motels and tire places, etc. I pulled into the Best Western parking lot, exhausted. I went to the front desk where I met Debbie. Her kindness and helpfulness actually brought tears to my eyes. She made me feel like everything was going to be ok and everything will fall into place as it should, after a good nights sleep. I wasn't able to post this review until today and I'm sorry I'm late with it. Once I arrived in Philly, work kinda took over and it was nothing but hustling for the trial prep, the actual trial and then packing it up to get back on the road. I just wanted to reach out to Best Western (636 Griswold Road, Elyria, OH) to let the highers up know that you have one extremely special person (Debbie) working for you and your customers. Rude employees lying when we asked about why the pool wasn't open and lying to us when it would be open. Manager cussing in front of guest, it was a terrible experience. There was only two nice ladies one named Stacy there was also a nice older lady that handled the breakfast area.

We stayed in room 103 which is nice and close to the building back door which is very convenient for loading and unloading your luggage. This door accepts your keycard which is nice and makes you feel secure with this door always being locked. Room 103 does have just a slightly noticeable cigarette odor to it when you first walk in, but it was not terrible and not enough to bother us or complain about it. The late night desk clerk on our first night stay was very helpful in resolving an issue with a guest's car alarm that was continuously going off. They quickly found out which guest owned the vehicle after I had provided a photo of the rear of the vehicle along with its license plate. She called the room where the guest was staying and quickly got the situation resolved. The complimentary breakfast bar was very nice with a good mix of hot and cold foods and beverages.

Overall we were pleased with this property - polite, helpful and friendly staff. Average breakfast, but WHY does everyone have to serve biscuits and gravy for breakfast?!? Bacon or sausage would have been nice ... but no way would we eat biscuits and gravy!! Our biggest complaint was guests staying on the floor above us. We didn't complain to the front desk until after 10 pm ... when we'd been listening to them run around for 3 hours! The front desk called them, and while the guest apologized they certainly didn't do anything about the noise. At 11 pm I called the front desk AGAIN! If guests are going to be so inconsiderate, they should either be told to leave or stay on the FIRST floor!

I travel from NY with my kids for they could relax for all the mandatory mask basic 24/7. Everyone is full vaccinated. Just a small family get away for they could relax from everything and receive the new year 2022 relax in a more positive way. With the pandemic we really had go no where, so this trip was our small vacation only us triying to remember how life usto be , fredom, no pressure how newyorkers we are living with this pandemic

King bed, one night. There were a bunch of really curly black hairs ALL OVER the shower (and it wasn't clean, besides), and stuff that looked like food scraps on the bathroom floor. Several of the table surfaces were smeared and stained with bottle/cup marks that were clearly fresh and from a previous guest. The garbage bins didn't have garbage bags in them. Super gross. I didn't complain because I had just finished a 13 hr drive and just needed to sleep. But a complete waste of $100.00. It felt like a joke. Not to mention the small children next door who were up and running the halls until 1:30AM.

It's not the Peabody but it's fine. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. Got a great rate so that helped as well. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I'll stay here again in three days on my way back home. If you're expecting the JW Marriot, go to the JW Marriot.

Property and room was clean, up-to-date, comfortable. Coffee 24/7 in breakfast area, which is a huge plus for us because we're early risers and don't like the mini-makers in rooms nowadays. Definitely recommend this property.

Staff stepped in front of my daughter and her friend 5 min before breakfast ended saying” I'm not playing around it's over” and started taking all the food before she could eat. 3 min later other staff arrive get food from back then sit in dining room to eat. At one point she was in such a hurry to take the food from the kids she dropped and broke many dishes.

The front desk person, Sue, was very good to deal with. She helped me on a couple issues that went above and beyond. Thank you, Sue. The room was in good shape and everything worked. The building is dated but in good shape as was the room. A good place for a night's stay. I recommend it.

Stayed at Four different Best Westerns One in Ludington had Dirty Carpets the Rest were Very Nice They all had very good employee's The only one that gave Me a Gift for being a Best Western Platnum Member gift was in South Carolina

Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Shower barely had any water pressure. We had a family emergency and couldn't stay our 2nd night and because it was 30mins after the cut off time to cancel we got charged for the night we wouldn't even be staying for. Not impressed with the woman at the front desk. She complained about everything. I understand that there are policies but I think they could have made an exception.

The Hotel, is located next to the Interstate Highway. Easy On and Easy Off. The Front Desk Staff is 5 Star. The House Keeping Staff is also 5 Star. The Smiles are there, under their masks!! Seems safe and secure for my stay with my elderly father.

We wanted a place outside Cleveland to end the night. This place did the trick, no frills but well maintained. Good clean average hotel. Everyone we worked with was very helpful and nice. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Several places in the area to eat.

I was not expecting a 5 star hotel when we arrived, but I've paid $130 to stay in the city of Pittsburgh before at a different hotel name, and it was a great room, so I expected paying around $100 for this room to be better than it was. Upon arriving, Sue at the front was great, she was helpful & friendly. But once getting into our non-smoking room, you could still smell the smoke. It was either turned from smoking to non smoking room or they combine smoking & non smoking bedding/towels while washing. We felt unclean and went to target to buy supplies & sanitize everything ourselves, as it was too late to find a new room. After dinner we wanted to take showers and our shower barely worked with very little water pressure. You could take the single handle and spin it all the way around & only in one particular spot would the water start/stay running. That being said, we won't be staying at a Best Western again if possible as it apparently is a gamble from location to location.

There was food pieces on the counter by the sink, nothing was wiped down, sink was full of pee (yet sealed), dog food all over the floor. Second room was dirty as well-toothpaste all over the sink. 3rd room was dirty-there was still hair and soap all in the tub. After 1.5 hours I ended up staying in the first room because I cleaned it. I ended up getting compensated $4, yes, only $4 AND ONLY OFF ONE NIGHT. Upon checkout a note was to be left for the manager-2 days later, nothing.

Very outdated, ac didn't work properly no cooling, Internet was intermittent. Ck in gal friendly didn't give instructions of hotel/amenities. Ck out gal rude when I asked about breakfast. Not informed they didn't offer anything. Not even a to go muffin, juice, coffee etc. Always stopped in Elyria on our way east west turnpike but will definitely not stay here again!

I chose this place because of the generally positive reviews, and honestly, I think a lot of people may have reviewed the wrong hotel. That's the only explanation I can think of for so many positive reviews.I try to be as considerate and understanding as possible with hotels for obvious reasons, but this place was pretty much a dump. The parking lot is small and awkward to maneuver. There don't seem to be enough parking spaces for the number of rooms. The lobby and breakfast area have been recently renovated, but the hallways, stairwells and rooms are a different story. Dingy, rarely (if ever) cleaned carpet and filthy walls and doors were especially prominent in the stairwell. This is supposedly a smoke-free property, but the first thing I noticed upon entering the hallway and my room was that it smelled like a combination of a music festival, an ashtray and Aunt Susan's musty 50-year-old couch. Cleanliness was a big issue in my room. There was a chewed-off fingernail stuck on one of the headboards and there were stains everywhere. One of the hand towels was covered in yellowish stains, a bottle cap was left on the floor, and finally, there were dried drops of what I hope was toothpaste on the sink. I know housekeeping doesn't have much time to clean each room, and I certainly don't expect a budget hotel (or any hotel) to be a perfect sparkling beacon of cleanliness, but I do expect to not find "leftovers" from other guests. I couldn't figure out how to turn the shower on after trying everything I could think of and I was too exhausted to call the front desk for a room change, so I can't comment on water pressure. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have been any cleaner after a shower in this place than I was without one. Everything else, though extremely dated, worked fine and the AC was running nice and strong. The bed was comfortable enough and aside from the usual people walking down the hallway, it was pretty quiet. I kept the TV on all night, and that, along with the intermittent AC, provided enough ambient sound to drown out any noise that may have kept me awake otherwise. I was pretty shocked that I didn't wake up with any bedbug bites. Aside from all the negatives, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the covid-era prepackaged breakfast (2 small muffins, granola bars and bottled water) was decent. If you're thinking about staying here, I'd advise you to either strongly consider an alternative or lower your expectations to their lowest level.

There was a big empty space in the corner where presumably a leisure chair and lamp should be. Granite in the sink area was chipped. Surfaces of furniture were dirty. Grab bag breakfast was OK but pretty minimal.

I just wanted a relaxing (Soak in some epsom salt) day away from my children. The first jacuzzi was broken when I let the front desk know I was told it would be checked to make sure as if I told a líe

Stayed for 4 night at this property while visiting family in Lorain. Upon checking into my room, I found greasy fingerprints on the nightstand, desk and other areas of the room. The floor had debris on it and the telephone was really nasty. This used to be a smoking allowed hotel until a couple of years ago, and there was still remnants of cigarette odor, though it could have been from the people down the hall who chose to smoke in their room despite the no smoking signs. I went to the front desk to ask to be moved to another room explaining the situation, and the young lady was apologetic and very accommodating. The next room was cleaner and the bed was comfortable, but I still had an uneasy feeling. Breakfast was a bag to go with sugary muffins, a breakfast bar, which I don't eat and a bottle of water.

The Saturday night I stayed with my daughter was one of the longest of my life. People were coming and going all night to a room at the end of the hall on the second floor--every half-hour or so. Some of the "visitors" argued with the ladies in the room. The man sitting in a large car in the parking lot argued loudly and menacingly with the visitors. Whatever was going on in the room was, I highly suspect, not legal. You should not stay here.

This Best Western is located conveniently with easy access to the Ohio Turnpike and Rt 2 Expressway that will allow a short drive to Cleveland to the east and Sandusky (Cedar Point) and other points west along the Lake Erie shore to the west. It also has plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Not a fancy property, it is still comfortable and has a pool and exercise area. All of this is at a very reasonable rate.

Service at the front desk is absolutely disgusting. They both need an attitude adjustment. Becky kept snatching things out of my hand. Had my partner not calmed me down I definitely would have traveled even further to find another hotel. The hotel itself is nice. The service is horrendous!

Had several issues this trip and was actually overall the worse stay at a BW. From room service no show for 2 night in a row and missing light bulbs and batteries in remote, POT smell in room and halls, decor in room sub-par. However the girls and the service desk were excellent and very apologetic for the problems. Very nice people, poorly managed motel.

Staff is friendly but if you are looking for a suite don't look here. Rooms are clean so is the hotel. If you mention smells in the hall nothing is done about it. My 4 kids dealt with this for 3 days and I had to tell them the staff knows.

Will definitely stay here again. Clean room, comfortable bed. Sue was friendly at check in. Tub/shower is slippery, be careful. Close to I80 for travelers, lots of restaurants nearby, reasonable room rate.

Absolutely horrible rude customer service Front desk clerks. No breakfast because of covid19, pool closed. Housekeeping left dirty sheets in the room along with old food and drink in the fridge. Gross

I love the women at the front desk that work here. She told me i should be at home because of Covid which i respect but i couldn't be at home right then. But beyond that. The stay was EXTREMELY comfortable and they really do make u feel at home.

I stayed one night and planned to stay a second night. My plans were changed but I would have definitely chosen to stay a second night.Rooms were nice and very clean. Service was good. Hot breakfast with eggs and more variety than standard hotel fare. The overall appearance was very good, but the floor and condition of the elevator brought down the feeling of cleanliness.. Other areas were ok.

I'll remember this property as the "Butts Western". The back entry way is totally littered with cigarette butts . . . I swear you couldn't step anywhere within 20' of the door without stepping on one so they were also tracked into the entry way. Whoever is smokin' out there is nico-jonesing so bad they even got the starewell stunk up. Otherwise, the gal who checked us in was great. The room was all around very good, clean and comfy. No breakfast or pool due to the virus but I'm sure they were good.

It was a great time I enjoyed the pool. The breakfast All of the staff is kind of curious. The rooms were nice and clean. The continental breakfast was amazing. The Bulls kept clean the outside of the building feel secure

I loved the stay.. my room was clean including the bathroom .. the lady at the desk so so nice I wanna say her name was sue .. ..now the bed...Don't get me started ..it was so comfy.. I wanted to pack it up with me ...I felt very welcomed.i will be back .

The outside looks a little rough and I thought maybe we had picked a wrong place to stay. But the inside was a nice surprise and overall looked put together. The breakfast was good. The room was ok. It did have dirty socks in a draw when we enter so that was a little concerning. Overall not bad for the price.

Found a gem in a small business district. This Best Western is changing over to non smoking. Bathtub was extra large. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast included hot food. Pool was heated and clean. Doors are opened with magnetic strip cards.

Motel is showing its age somewhat but is very comfortable anyway. I really appreciated the hotels staffs efforts to make our stay enjoyable. The location was very convenient for a function we were attending in downtown Elyria.

This hotel we have stayed at before and have enjoyed our experience. The interior was very clean in there room, hallways and lobby. Staff very friendly. There only issue is its location. This area had many closed up sites. Didn't seem to be in a good area.

A snow storm caused a change in plans and a quick audible to find a roadside motel – always a risky proposition! This Best Western, while far from new, was clean and comfortable and Sue, the desk clerk was as nice and helpful as any concierge in a five start hotel. Plus, there was a great breakfast. Gauging from the “regulars” who stay here, I would say this Best Western is a keeper!

Not the best Best Western out there. Had dried blood on my comforter, exhaust was extremely loud, there was a stink bug that greeted me in the lobby... I'm not used to this type of experience! The person in the front compensated me but I wish I would have known to not bother with this hotel. I thought it was nice because of the indoor pool but even someone at a restaurant said of all the hotels in the area, Best Western was the better quelling hotel! Yikes!

We picked our room because it had a desk chair and a comfy chair. The photo was wrong...no comfy chair, just another desk chair. Very disappointed. The tv and internet worked well. The bathroom was dark and the shower head was low. Our king bed was fine, but the pillows were mushy. Breakfast was okay. The omelets and bacon were not very hot. The glazed donut was a nice surprise.

Best Western Inn in Elyria was not a bad experience for our family's visit. The front desk person who greeted us was very kind. She was also a quick and focused worker, something that is hard to find at most hotels nowadays. Our room as sufficient, though the shower/ toilet area was a bit tiny. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our heater/ air conditioner was our only damper- we could not seem to regulate it to suit our needs. It was not worth bothering the hotel staff over...we managed fine. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise! Two kinds of eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, and more! I'm watching my carbs, so the bacon and eggs were a HUGE treat for me and was very much enjoyed!

We didn't have a reservation and it was late at night when we stopped. Debbie, the lady working the desk was extra nice! She was able to give us a room on the ground floor, which works best for us older folks. Breakfast the next morning offered something for everyone! And the breakfast attendant was very attentive. If we travel this way again we can book a room and know we won't be disappointed.

Two years ago I did a road trip from Chicago to NJ and on the return trip I happened upon this Best Western in Elyria, OH, about the midway point pf my drive back to Chicago. Well as fate would have it, I decided to call it a day once I had driven 450 miles and happen to see the Best Western logo illuminated from the highway. So after re-fueling and buying a dinner salad to go, I drove to the nearby BW Hotel and found that a King room was available at about 60% less than I paid at a 2 star Comfort Inn I stayed at on my outbound trip. Better price, much better room and breakfast. Not only that, the front desk clerk actually remembered me from two years ago!! I was quite familiar with the Best Western brand as I once trained their hotel sales staff on how to sell their properties to the local markets.. I I was very much pleased to see that Best Western continues to be among the leaders in the hotel industry today!!

We had a Clean room and bathroom. It had a great hot breakfast - scrambled eggs and bacon. It was easy to access the hotel from the toll road. Pleasant front desk and breakfast server. And the price was fantastic.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great. They had little cheese, cheese and ham and cheese, ham and peppers omelets. All you could eat. Plus pancakes, sausage, yogurt, cereal and all the other good usual fair. The lady that ran breakfast was very nice and personable. The ladies at the front desk were also very nice. The lady that checked us in (think her name was Stacey) was very friendly and easy to get along with. Paid good attention to my son, who's a talker. That means a lot. She was having a very busy night too. The pool was nice too. A lot of indoor pools are over heated or cold. This one was just cool enough. No road noise like another had complained. I would give it another half star, but I do t see how to.

We have never stayed at a Best Western before and this hotel was nice, clean and the staff was nice especially Stacy. She went above and beyond to be accommodating to myself and son. She was GREAT! The breakfast was good and my kids enjoyed it each morning. The pool was great and we had fun each day we was there.

This was our second stay at this property. Although this wasn't our first choice (the hotel we originally were going to book had multiple recent negative reviews due to pest issues), it certainly was worth the few dollars extra. When we first arrived, the room we were assigned, a non-smoking room, smelled strongly of stale cigarette odor. We notified the front desk and we were promptly reassigned to a different room. While the room shouldn't have been an issue in the first place, I was very satisfied with how it was resolved. The hotel was very clean and peaceful. It has a nice pool area which was kept reasonably clean (unfortunately no spa/hot tub for the adults...) The room was well kempt, beds were quite comfortable, bathroom was small but clean. All the staff we interacted with was very pleasant and seemed to have a genuine interest in being helpful and ensuring we were satisfied, regardless of their role. The breakfast bar was kept well-stocked with fresh food, right up to the end of breakfast hours. Food quality was satisfactory and the selection was very good. Overall, I was really impressed with this stay and feel that this was a great value for what we received. If we are in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Rooms are clean, Hot breakfast is more than expected, and service is awesome. We felt very safe in the area, and the employees were very helpful when needed. The WiFi was great, and very easy to use. I never expected to see a pancake machine for breakfast. Most hotels offer waffles, which I don't like, but this hotel offers pancakes, and different flavored syrups, and it was delicious.. I would go back just for the breakfast.

Stayed for one night with my family. Hotel overall was clean, the room was clean, and everything was as expected. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed swimming in the pool with my family. Overall a great value for the price.

This hotel is amazing. It has a free breakfast, Wifi, exercise room, indoor pool. It's in a great location. The rooms are super clean and the staff is friendly which are 2 major pluses. Also for those who don't like traveling on the turnpike, it's located right off of interstate 90. Keep up the good work, will definitely be back. They also offer AAA Discount too which is also a plus.

This hotel is older and close to a busy intersection however, once inside it was okay in terms of noise level and condition. It's an older hotel but has been updated over the years. A room away from the street should be requested.

Very good, high-quality hotel near Cleveland, Ohio. Lobby area is nicely decorated and comfortable. My room was very good, comfortable, and clean. Full breakfast was delicious. The pool is large, very clean, and perfect temperature.

We stopped here on a long drive, just for a place to sleep. Our room was clean and comfortable, The exercise room was fine, but was pretty warm - A/C wasn't up to the task. The pool was very nice. Breakfast was adequate, nothing fancy, not the best I've had, but not the worst. I went for a walk in the morning, and the area around the hotel was not great for walking due to sidewalks only being on one side of the road, and not many options for side streets.

i didn't really have any issues. it was a beautiful room and very clean, i didn't end up using the pool or fitness room. the staff was really nice, check in was easy and went quick, check out was fast. I got a king room and it was very comfortable, and quiet, a big plus for me since I am a light sleeper. it was located at the opposite side of the building from the entrance and that was also the location of the pool downstairs, there was a door right out to the parking lot i was able to park and quickly take my things up the stairs and into my room

We were ok with stay. Friendly staff, easy to find--appreciate the veteran's discount. Great "real" doughnuts! Cleaning does need to improve. We requested another when our first nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. The second room was ok, but we found a 3/4 used bottle of soda behind the curtain and a key in packet from 2 weeks ago. We wanted to walk to a restaurant .2 of a mile away. The person recommended that we drive because it was "dangerous". Dangerous because of the busy highway.

Easy access from the highway which is always a big plus when doing a road trip. Breakfasts are always a good Best Western standard. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and clean. Slept well after a long day on the road.

Checkin was quick, Jennifer very friendly, room was nice, beds made nicely, bathroom clean. Did not have a chance to make it to the pool area so no input there. Breakfast was hot, area very clean. Checkout was quick too. Would stay here again!

We stayed here on July 25th on our way heading north on vacation. Room was perfect in every way. We like room number 103 because it is at the end of the hall away from all the hotel noises. Exit door right near. All the pictures are from our stay heading north. We have used this hotel for over 10 years. Debbie is the best desk clerk with Sue second. Location is not far from the turnpike and 7 miles or so south of Lake Erie. Golden Corral, Wendy's and a couple of restaurants aren't far from it. Sadly the mall is not as great as it was. Most of the stores have moved out to somewhere else. Price is reasonable. The the way down from up north we stopped for the night on August 5th. We made a mistake on the arrival date and Debbie was able to help us out and give us a room. Whew. Thank you Debbie. The reason for the 4 rating above was because of the breakfast experience on the Aug 5th stay. No yogurt until after 9, no eggs with cheese, something was coming out with the apple juice that wasn't apple juice. Only a few fruit. Plates were flimsy and didn't hold the food well at all, the donuts, bread and pastry case was hard to use to get what you wanted. Not much variety. Nothing like there was just 2 weeks before that. If we were to judge this place on that particular stay on August 5th, it would be a thumbs down. Sorry Debbie and Sue. They have an indoor pool and a small exercise room. There are a few smoking rooms which is sad that they do. We are not smokers and it is starting to bother us so must get a different hotel next month.

Very good facility. It was convieniat to our family and activities. Easy to get into and out of. We'll go there again next time we have a trip in. We also found that this is a great location for other fun activities in northern Ohio. Reasonable driving distance to Clevland or Cedar point and places west.

When we arrived there were only 3 rooms left which is why the price was a little more than I was wanting to spend. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable so I got a much needed good nights sleep. The bathroom lighting was good and there was even nice toiletry items for use. The only problem we encountered was that at breakfast the other guests were very rude. The kitchen staff could not keep up with the demand because people were taking plates full of food that you knew they were not going to eat. Needless to say, we did not eat breakfast. The front desk staff was very apologetic and we understood that they had no control over it. A big thank you to Suzanne the general manager for the nice email I received a few days after our stay. We would stay here again if ever in the area. It is a good location to the interstates.

We stayed in Best Western in Elyria last week. We did not know this hotel allows smoking, has smoking rooms and the second hand smoke in our "non smoking" room was overwhelming. Had I been told by reservations that this was the case I would not have booked the room. Once I arrived we were stuck. I have asthma, my husband has heart disease. The smell was so strong I coughed all the time I was there. Since all other rooms were booked in other hotels we had to stay. Reception gave me a bottle of green liguid that said bathroom cleaner and told me to give it "try". How it is possible that full disclosure is not given the phone to potential guests is disturbing. I booked on the phone, I should have been told. Do not stay here, do not bring your kids. The smell of second hand cigareete smoke is unavoidable. I could not take any longer and left a day early. Buyer beware. Also a car was broken into in their parking lot and one of receptionists was telling the guest she ran into to be aware of this, it happens all the time.

It was a decent hotel, plenty of room and would have been nice to have a sofa. There was a pool, but we didn't use it. Good breakfast buffet. Funny sounding elevator sounds like a toilet flushing, but hubby says they all sound like that.

I had called the morning of the rez and spoke to Sue to confirm rez and request (that was on the rez) for room away from smoking rooms in a quiet area. Sue said she would have to "move some rez around so she would see what she could do". Sue did accomodate, so thank you, Sue! However, for those including requests in your rez, I would recommend calling to conffirm. Hotel is in location with a mostly empty mall, and chain restaurants. Also a grocery store, "Giant Eagle". Room has small shower/toilet room and sink outside. Lobby and second floor where I stayed had stale smoke smell, but room did not. Have to admit, I am not a fan of a flat sheet substitutung as a fitted sheet. It just gets all bunched up. Bed was soft, but that is a personal preference. Room was clean, except for microwave. I did not partake in breakfast b/c of stale smoke smell in lobby area. Fit the bill for a one night stay, doubt I would stay more than one night.

When we arrived our room was not dusted and someone else had to come in and do it because the staff had went home. We did not have enough towels and they could not find any on the first floor so they had to go to the 2nd floor to get them and they brought several shower mats to be used as towels. The carpeting was so dirty that you literally had black feet and had to wipe them on one of those towels before you put on your socks and shoes. When we turned down the bed there was hair on 2 pillows. Will never stay at this place in Elyria again.

I feel like I got the best deal for my money. It felt like my family stayed and at a higher brand hotel but at a lower price. I would definitely stay here again, but better than the comfort inn and super 8 in Elyria. I have family here so I'm always in town and I definitely will be back. Great breakfast, love all the topping they had for the yogurt.

Other than very nice staff and clean rooms nothing else was good. VERY OLD and SMALL. Even breakfast wasn't good. Wet carpet which we were told it probably was from the toilet overflowing! Rooms extremely small.

We enjoyed our stay with our four year old granddaughter. The breakfast held a nice variety of options, the pool was a good temperature and the staff was helpful and friendly. My only suggestion would be to have pool towels in by the pool, not only in the exercise room.

Whenever I'm town visiting family, I like staying here... sometimes rate is high due to Cedar Point but bettter paying higher rates at others. The lower rate hotels are brutally bad. Although it's limited parking and hotel is overall smaller than most BW... they seem to keep up on it and only issue with this stay was a guest wreaked the whole 2nd floor with pot. I did not report it since it was 3:30am and was too tired from wing on the road.

Debbie provided us a great experience. Luggage cart needs repair. Good-sized room. Microwave and refrigerator worked well. Bathroom shower is separate from shower and toilet, which made it quicker to get ready in the morning. Great tub and shower. Climate control unit worked great and was quiet.

We have stayed at this hotel twice, while working races at Amherst. Always friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice pool. This stay, our door lock was defective. It made entering the room a hassle every time. As the hotel was full, we were stuck dealing with it.

We stay in Elyria for one-night-only during our trips out to pick-up family. This Best Western is lovely! The rooms are clean, well kept, and the beds are to die for! Sue went out of her way to get us checked-in early during our most recent stay.

We've stayed at the Elyria Best Western (BW) several times. It is easy to find from the turnpike, fits into our budget; has good people working there; nice breakfast buffet with among other things plain yoghurt that you can doctor up your way (too many places have strawberry or strawberry-something else... not good when you are allergic to 'em) This is a real plus. Clean rooms, pool & people friendly. I LOVE the Bath Towels & face towels! That extra plushness that says Luxury! A nice amenity. Additions or changes that would be nice: a smoking pit with a bench. Granted I do not smoke, but for those who are addicted, a place to go to, with a can for the cigarette butts (so they are not thrown all over) & a place for the smoker to sit - there are some old geezers who puff, & use their walkers to get around). I'd look at the first car parking spot across from the entrance, or next to the fenced in AC area beyond the entrance door. Far enough so the smoke does not assault patrons entering & exiting. We come from a place where NO hotels allow smoking inside & they usually provide a place for those who still smoke. Just a thought.

Great! Provided extremely comfortable room for 5 people. Excellent breakfast. Easy to find! This was our first night on the road for extensive family vacation around the country. Was worried what the "5th" person was going to have for sleeping arrangements...Not to worry - everyone had a bed and they gave us just what they had promised! Would have NO problem staying there again!

This was my family's second time visiting the Best Western in Elyria. We were pleased with our stay. The manager Debbie was very helpful. Overall friendly staff. If we needed anything or had any questions, there was no hesitation. The pool was a bit chilly. Breakfast was OK. To add, an awesome trail along Black River (1.6 miles from the hotel) to run, walk and hike.

This is a great property to stay at while visiting the Elyria,Ohio area. We stay here every year when we come to the area for NHRA Drag Racing in Norwalk. Our room is always clean & the breakfast is fresh & delicious! Sue & Debbie always make sure we have everything we need!! I already have reservations for next year!!

Long trip but this was a pleasant place to stop and surprise with how nice it was. Bed was comfortable and sleep was good. Breakfast was hot and everything ready earlier than opening for breakfast. Area was nice and things were close by.

For the price being as fairly cheap as it was, we found our room to be clean, spacious, and the pool to be nice. We were looking for a hotel to stay at for a few nights to be able to go to cedar point, and have an extra day of rest as a midpoint in our long roadtrip. We were just looking for a hotel that would be clean, comfortable bed, have a pool to spend our day off, and be not too far from Cedar Point so that we could spend a day there too. This hotel hit all of those boxes for us. Now it certainly is no luxury hotel, but you get what you pay for. And we were happy that for $76 a night we were able to get this! Did the job for our needs. Would recommend this to someone looking to go to Cedar Point but don't want to pay as much as the hotels right by the park are charging

Nice, friendly staff. Loved the pool, even though there was no hot tub. The lining was nice, They could use pastries at breakfast. Pancake machine was broken, seems like it is a lot. Just grabbed a glass of juice. Rooms were nice and clean.

Molly should be fired from front desk for the disrespectul unprofessional way of handling someone reporting an issue with the pot/smoke smell in hallways. To call the cops on a sweet little old lady was just rediculous and uncalled for and then later to find out she was bragging about almost hitting her is just astounding. By the way the cops thought it was ridiculous as well. Very unprofessional staff. This hotel reeked of smoke and pot and can be smelled in the Non-smoking rooms. We also witnessed 2 houskeeping fighting in the hallways almost coming to physical blows. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if it were the last one with rooms to rent. Disgusted and disappointed to say the least.

It is conveniently located and easy to find. The room was comfortable, clean and we'll appointed. The staff is friend and helpful. It is a short drive to many restaurants. The grounds we're well keptand clean

We spent the night, midweek. We had a reservation and were greeted quickly and efficiently. The receptionist, while friendly, seemed very young and naiive. I asked about non-chain dining options and she was completely clueless, rattling off every chain you could imagine. When I suggested the possibility of small, family restaurants or "mom-and-pop" places, she suggested Applebys. Oy. Anyway, the room was clean, fairly utilitarian. The free wifi was efficient. Breakfast was pretty much what you would expect-fresh, industrial. They had a nifty gizmo I had not seen yet, a pancake maker, but it was on the fritz. oh well. However, the evening receptionist came to every table to greet each diner, inquire as to unmet needs, and assess their experience. Very nice touch.

As a travel nurse working nights in an unknown town, this Best Western was the only hotel happy and willing to accommodate my untraditional and specific needs. The staff was extremely welcoming and grateful to meet my needs. It's my new home away from home while on this assignment.

Non-smoking room was clean roomy with all amenities needed. Great ovation near interstate. There were plenty of items to select for breakfast. What should be hot were and were replenished as needed. Front desk personnel were very helpful with information about the area.

The staff was very helpful and efficient. The area was well-controlled. The breakfast was ample and well-stocked. The atmosphere was quiet and calm. I didn't use the pool, but was very glad that it was there. We'll stay again!

we enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. The front desk was helpful but we did feel the cost was on the expensive side even with the AARP discount. the place was clean and the breakfast was good. We had clean towels and all.

First the positive. Best Western is a brand. The room was dated, but clean and the beds are always comfortable with huge pillows. Breakfast was decent, hot buffet style no meat that day. Now the real the front desk clerk only had us at the check in. The phone was ringing and I asked her if she wanted to get that. She did but she also took a personal call and she told me to patient. I don't feel I did anything wrong. My husband told me she apologized for being snippy but as she was on until midnight I felt uncomfortable dealing with her. So we go the pool. There were no towels or any place to put wet towels. So you have to go to the front desk clerk to get them. The exercise room was med. The treadmill just went from 1.5 to 4 out of the blue and the bike,was off. The bar that you pull on for the weight machine was loose. I told the morning manager this. She told me you have to plug in the bike. I didn't see a plug and I told her I'm not plugging it in. She kept telling me how,the machines were New and finally she said she would send someone to look at them. Like I said Best Western is a brand and if this was my first experience at a best western I wouldn't go back but I know that they have,better service. This is not a forty dollar hotel. I paid 102 for a room with a jetted hot tub in it. And that is a good value. But good service should go along with value.

Not a bad property and the breakfast was great but the bathroom was tiny ... reminded of an old joke/cliche about having to leave it to change my mind. More importantly, the tub show is DANGEROUS ... there is no bathmat provided and the tub is slick, and really slick after using their conditioner. Also, the tub edge seems high, like maybe it was one of those ones that just fit over the existing one and the shower head is some off brand thing that is inscrutable and not all that good.

Your place was the perfect stop for us. Knocked off half of a 14 hour drive. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a Buffalo Wild Wings in close proximity. With family in NYC, we plan to stop at least twice a year.

This hotel is well located and the staff are professional and friendly. Pretty good breakfast, hot and cold items. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed twice, once outbound on our trip and then again on the way back. Our only issues were that each time one of our room keycards didn't work and the hotel's back door lock was broken.

The hotel is on a major highway halfway from Cleveland airport to Oberlin Conservatory. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh continental. The hotel was close to restaurants. We liked it.

With so many choices when booking hotel stays, our previous stays at Best Westerns in other cities lead us to this location. We were again satisfied. Up dated lobby and rooms continue to satisfy out needs for a quite, clean, comfortable night stay. Nice breakfast selection and great staff added to our comfort. Great job!

Stayed 2 nights – nice first-floor room very quiet – staff was friendly and work hard – they had sprinkled sand on the parking lot ice when I went to my car at 7 AM. Good breakfast. Good workout room. Reasonable cost for a dependably good hotel.

Wanted to be close to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but not downtown. With a 30 min. window, we stayed inexpensively and made it there as the hall opened. this allowed plenty of time to visit, yet make it home the same day.

My partner and I drove from New Jersey to Chicago for a gala because plane tickets were way too expensive that weekend. Elyria was a little bit more than half way and we saw that, since it's area off of I-80 was a hotel park, we would stay somewhere to catch up on some sleep for the night. The price for the Best Western was fairly low so it did make me a little nervous that we would be booking this room blind without seeing the quality of the facility first. We stayed here a total of two nights (way to Chicago and the way back) in the non-smoking rooms and it was a good experience. When I heard they had free breakfast I assumed it would be cereal, fruit, oatmeal and coffee but it's actually a whole breakfast bar! Omelettes, sausage, bagels, hash browns, all different kinds of juices. It was definitely the jump start we needed to get back on the road. The only negatives were that because it's a smaller hotel that does have smoking rooms, almost the whole building smelt like a cigarette. And the shower heads were absolutely disgusting. They had mold around the base and just from the design you can tell they are decades old. Definitely time for a refresh with those. Besides that, everything was great ! We would definitely stay again.

Except for wet, barefoot guests walking thru the corridor and lobby (from the pool), this was a very pleasant visit. Wish we could have stayed longer, just to enjoy the accommodations. Left too early in the morning to enjoy the breakfast.

Lovely hotel! Elyria is a stop-over for us when visiting family, and we're only ever there for just one night. But we may have to plan a longer stay, just to enjoy the beautiful accommodations! My last review pointed out the ick-factor of guests walking around barefoot when going to, or leaving, the pool. I guess management didn't think it important enough to address, as we saw several dripping wet, barefoot guests in the lobby and corridor. Manager-on-duty was also more pleasant and hospitable than than the one on duty during our last visit. Would definitely recommend (if you can get past the wet bare feet on the carpets).

We had no problems with the Best Western room. It was a decent room for a pretty cheap price. We got into pretty late and the staff was very courteous. The breakfast was standard eggs hash browns sausage and a pancake maker.

Pleasant professional staff. Comfortable and very clean room. Looks like there may have been some recent updating to carpets and decor. New TVs being installed. Good place to get a good night's rest on the road.

great hotel, the breakfast was hot and lots to choose from! the beds had pillow top and many pillows (4 per bed) will stay here again when passing through. very quiet and was able to sleep in a very soft safe hotel

We went to visit our new great nephew, such a cutie. The hotel was nice, and clean. Sue and Debbie at the front desk were wonderful, very helpful and pleasant. My family enjoyed the hot breakfast, try to get down there early, it can get crowded but the staff kept it stocked. Comfortable beds and pillows. My grandsons loved the indoors pool.

We brought a large group of teens and were treated like royalty. Rooms, food and staff was great. The front desk were very accommodating and helpful. Close enough to Cedar Point but not the high cost of lodging. Great price for our rooms.

I wish the swimming pool had been operational I stayed two nights in the pool was not available either night I booked the hotel because it had a poolFunctional pool. The room was clean and everything was in order, plus it was bug free

30 minutes to Downtown Cleveland Save $$$ by staying a little farther away. Left Monday morning for Detroit also missing downtown Cleveland traffic Nice place, easy to get too, Room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was decent. Friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint was the Bath and Pool towels are way to small, more like hand towels

Checked in on a sat to get rest for a day of fishing. Room very well kept also staff great . Lady at check out offered grav n go breakfast at 5 :30 since it was so early. Thanks had a great stay and will stay next time we go on fishing charter in the area.

I won't go into all of the details here, but there was just an overall lack of attention to detail at this property. Our door to the room had a one inch gap between the jam and actual door. Heard all off the hallway noise etc. All of the faucets in the room were installed incorrectly. Cold was hot and hot was cold. It was a smoking room, so I realize there would be some odor, but the odor in this room was really, really thick. Like they didn't even try to freshen it. I normally enjoy my time at Best Westerns but this particular property is lacking.

This hotel is dated and has no curb appeal, but the beds, linens, and rooms are all pretty nice (except the trendy square bed pillows.) Water pressure in shower is substandard, but the bath products are above average, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Here's what really grinds my gears tho'. When traveling, most people like to get an early start. How do you do that when breakfast starts at 7:00? I asked why this is and two different gals at the desk said people complain about it "all the time." OF COURSE THEY DO. What we have is owners who really don't give a damn about what's convenient for us.

We had adjoining rooms for our two families coming back from Cedar point. Had a pool! Great breakfast too!! Comfy beds!! Bathroom kind of on the smaller side, just had shower and toilet but the sink was outside the bathroom door in our room. A little different but still the room worked just fine for what we needed it for, a place to sleep so we weren't driving so long. Great price too!!

My family was traveling from IL to PA then back. We needed somewhere to rest because my 5 y/o twins couldn't handle the long drive. We picked this Best Western because of it's ratings and it's price. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was OKAY. We would stay here again.

This is one of the best motels in Elyria and now that the 49th Street Bridge has been removed it's easily accessible from the entire Mall area. The pool is a gem in itself. The staff is pretty friendly. I found my room in good order with the exception of a lifesaver candy between the bed and the nightstand. It's okay Best Western management I got this. Put on a little Maids dress picked up the piece of candy and toss it in the garbage can. You're welcome. Maybe in the future you'll let me clean other rooms. LOL. In all honesty though this Best Western is one of my favorite places to stay

This hotel is located in a perfect location. Close to everything. Even though it is only a 1/2 mile off the Ohio Turnpike there is hardly any traffic noise. Lake Erie is only 7 miles away for swimming or fishing enthusiasts.

Outside, the hotel was a little nondescript. But the inside was beautifully maintained. Our trip was a quick stopover, so we didn't partake of the breakfast buffet. Lobby and breakfast area were clean. Guest rooms were lovely ... can't beat a Best Western pillow! A couple of things that were missing: no 24-hour coffee in the breakfast area or lobby, and no designated outdoor smoking area (some of us still smoke). A bench maybe, around the corner of the building ... Something else for management, from a health perspective: Don't allow your guests to walk barefoot around the hotel. We crossed (ick!) paths with two of them either on their way down to, or back from the pool. It's just nasty!

This is a nice hotel - do not let the outside of this building deter you. I was happy to book at this hotel because we needed connecting rooms due to traveling with 80+ grandmother, They offer a 'suite' which is basically 2 rooms connecting. This was perfect for our family. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in. This hotel was the last hotel on our week long vacation and we slept the best here. I was very leary when we first pulled up because the immediate surrounding area was not the best looking (it's next to a used car lot) and the building is a mustard yellow color with high weeds. However, once I walked into the front door, my opinion was changed. It is a very pretty hotel that you can tell was recently updated. There are some dated items in the hotel which I hope they change. There are 3 ceiling lights in the hallway by the 'breakfast' area that are very dated. Plus, the microwaves in our rooms are VERY outdated. Check out the pictures I've shared....it was a good laugh for us. We didn't try them but I assume they work. The mini fridges in the rooms were great. It was the first time we were able to put ice packs in the small freezer section and they actually froze to use the next day. The rooms were nicely decorated and you could tell it's newer carpeting. The sinks are separate from the toilet and shower - which I don't really like because I'm the female with 3 males so washing up at night is difficult unless you take a shower. But, it was a nice clean area. The rooms were clean. Our room as right by the stairs on the 2nd floor, which was a little annoying because the stairs door constantly slammed when people went down. I was surprised how many people used the stairs. But, it only happened before 10:30pm and after 6am. so it didn't really disrupt my sleep. Maybe the Hotel can put some type of quiet closer on those doors to help with the noise. The outside of this building needs to be repainted and the weeds taken care of. It needs a good POP color that is inviting. the mustard yellow is hideous. Maybe a nice white/gray color with Blue trim. something to attract you in a nice inviting way. Breakfast was good. Typical Cereal, pastries, a machine that made fresh pancakes on demand. The day we were there we had sausage, mini omelets, and hash browns. It was tasty. The indoor pool - the pool door was the trickiest part. We had to ask the front desk how to get in. You have to turn the handle up and not down to get in. The pool was Clean. Although it's 'heated' it was a little chilly - but you can't have a pool too warm otherwise you have bacteria. The pool area is clean and even the bathroom in the pool area was well maintained. Upon our checkout - I was happy to see there was a good amount of cleaning staff. More than I've seen at other hotels which shows how they maintain the nice cleanliness of the hotel. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Our suite was a great price - much cheaper than other hotels in the area where we needed 2 rooms.

Along with the usual great service that a Best Westerns offers, my group were leaving before breakfast was being served. The staff had a bag with water, cereal bar & fruit ready at checkout for all of us. It was a great thing being we were on motorcycles.

The rate was $89 + taxes with the actual being just over $100. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Our room was very quiet. Check-in and check-out was very efficient, and registration person helped me correct an issue with my BW rewards. Would stay there again.

I was not totally happy with the stay. I thought we were to have a handicap room,but it wasn't. There was a button on the outside by the door, but found out it was for Hearing impaired, what ever it was to do. The bath room was very small. probably only 3 foot square area to stand in. Rest of room was great. Was told breakfast at 7am. WE were packed and ready to leave at 6 am, so decided to leave and eat elsewhere! Drove around to checkout and guys were in there eating. I was upset and left anyways!

This is a standard hotel in a large chain. A few items to mention: 1. The hotel is located in an ideal area. Close to the highway with nearby restaurants (Red Lobster, Denny's, Wendys, McDonalds, etc.). It is two story with rooms all located off an inside hallway (not motel style). There is an elevator. 2. There is an indoor pool and small workout room. The pool does have a lift for wheelchair access. 3. The breakfast was good, the area clean, and the staff (Becky) very helpful. Breakfast included yogurt, boiled eggs, fried eggs, cheese omelet, sausage, hash brown patties, white bread, small bagels, donuts, pancakes, 3 types of cereal, and juice and coffee/tea. All that we had were tasty. 4. Sue, front desk, was very pleasant and customer focused. She really tried hard to please guests. 5. The room was updated and very clean. The bed was adequate - not either super hard or super soft. The pillows were slightly lumpy. The towels were again adequate but not lush by any means. There was a frig and coffee maker in the room. 6. The internet was excellent and free. A code was needed. 7. The parking lot was well lit. I would stay here again if in the area.

The staff was great, friendly and helpful. One of the reviewers said the rooms were updated. Not the one we stayed in. There was a tissue shoved in the drawer to keep it closed. Another one in the door peep hole.

Clean rooms, updated decor. Older hotel with updates. The faucet on the sink was set really close to the bowl of the sink... hard to wash hands. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were not. Good size mini fridge in the room. Only 2 bath towels in the room, which was not enough for my husband and my long hair. Breakfast was good... frozen omelettes & bacon, biscuits & gravy, pancakes... plus the usual fare. Decent stay for the money.

Easy access from I-90 and I-80. Extremely clean room. Bedding was perfect. Breakfast was just right. Lots of space in the room. Had a late dinner at the Harry Bull bar/restaurant across the street and gassed up at the Safeway down the street. Key point for the traveler is that this is a very easy hotel to access, with excellent dining options and convenient access to gas. Lots of hotels to choose from in this area. Can't go wrong here.

Rooms were very clean and big. It's a bit of an older hotel but they have remodeled and it was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to the interstate, but not a lot of food options around the hotel. Good price and a good stop for us.

The reception area is nice. The room I stayed in was unacceptable. There were toys sticking out from under the bed, trash behind the nightstand, sticky residue all over the night stand, phone, and tv stand, dirty sheets on one of the beds, toothpaste spit on the faucet, dust everywhere and dirty underwear on the bathroom floor. I voiced my concerns the next day. I had just driven from Connecticut, was exhausted, and didn't notice the underwear until the next day. I just wanted my room legitimately cleaned. I wouldn't be writing this if the room was cleaned properly. Instead, they only removed the toys and underwear. They left the dust, stickiness, trash, and tooth paste spit. I honestly don't know how housekeeping gets away with this unprofessional behavior. This room was absolutely disgusting. I do not think it is unreasonable to expect to rent a clean room, especially after all these details were brought to the attention of the front desk.

I was impressed with staff (friendly and warm) and breakfast bar was very good. Choices and options were plentiful and staff was quick to help in anyway possible. I wasn't happy with the smell of smoke from other hotel stayers. Cigarette smoke was STRONG in our hallway. I was concerned that you did not need a key to enter the back door of the hotel, and also the pool area. It's scary to think that anyone could come into the hotel. Not cool. Also, the microwave was pretty dated and took forever to warm up food. Other than that, my stay was good. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.

We selected the Best Western Inn at Elyria, Ohio, because it was the halfway point on our trip from Illinois to the East Coast. When we arrived after seven hours on the road, we were cordially welcomed and prompty given a room and instructions on where to park and what door to enter to provide easiest access to our room. The room was clean and spacious and equipped with a refirgerator, microwave oven, safe, coffee-maker, and with wi-fi readily availabe using the password given us when we checked in. Everything about the room made us feel comfortable from the minute we walked in. Not only was the room everything we hoped for, but we also received a complimentary breafast the next morning. The breakfast bar included the makings for any kind of breakfast anyone could want. When it was time to hit the road again, we were rapidly processed through check out and sent on our way with the same cordial treatment we had received upon arrival the night before.

It was an amazing room! The staff was very polite and overall great! The service was fantastic! The Best Western has a fantastic breakfast, the food tastes amazing! Would definitely stay there again!!

The outside and lobby aren't anything special, but this is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with lots of choices. The rooms are good sized, beds very comfortable, and best of all, everything is very clean. It appears to have been recently renovated.

Located right off I 90 easy off and on.. Everything is close by for choosing eat in restaurants or fast food. I stay here while traveling from Ma to Mn. It is about the half way mark. Nice clean rooms and breakfast in the am. A great place to stay,

Could not even get into the room I was assigned. I went to the front desk twice before someone came to help. In the room the microwave was old and they provide a coffee pot with no pot. And you apparently can not have people visit you while staying here.

The Best Western in Elyria is clean, affordable, easy to find, and well located. Parking is ample and easy, there are many chain restaurants nearby, and my favorite part is the pancake machine at the free breakfast buffet.

My wife and I traveled to the area to visit our son at a nearby college event, and this economy low frills hotel just barely met our expectations, and it still needs to try a bit harder. Pros: Room was clean, bed was ok, location was quiet. Cons: Decor was dated and sort of sad, our 'non-smoking' room was near 'smoking rooms' and the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke, breakfast should have included more healthy options. Offensive FOX News channel was blaring in the dining room. Hotel was understaffed with one person handling all the duties. She was competent, but I felt sorry for her. Potentially dangerous situation. A couple of positive tweaks could push this hotel into the VG category for it's class.

Typical BW spacious room with comfortable bed and facilities (WiFi, TV, bathroom equipment) that work. Breakfast was not the best, but was adequate and better than other places that we have stayed in Elyria during previous visits. For my wife and I, this facility was very comfortable and a good value. We will stay there again.

The hotel was clean, beds comfortable and staff pleasant. But we need a handicapped room and the walk to the room was considerable. There was no walk-in shower or hand-held shower. The tub was so deep, very difficult to get in and very slippery. Don't know if we will come again - better than the motel we stayed at before, but twice the price.

Great room. Very nice friendly staff. I was there to get away and study. I arrived early and started my work in the breakfast lounge. Once my room was ready ( and they went ahead and did my room ASAP) I went upstairs and work through the weekend. I will stay there again.

We wanted a hotel that was a little off from the turnpike. This fit the bill. Mall right there and restaurant within walking distance. Loved Room 103 which was down at the end of the hall so we parked right by our first floor room and went out the back door when unloading and loading the car. Also good to go in and out the back door using the key card, to the local restaurant and Dollar General. We just called the hotel at 440-324-5050 because we are a Best Western member we got our room cheaper than any booking agency. We could cancel anytime without paying more or get a penalty. We reserved a non smoking room with a king bed. I am posting pictures for you to see how nice it was. They have a pool, but we didn't use it. Also a nice fitness room with an assortment of equipment. Lounging area up by the front desk. Very friendly staff and so helpful. Thank you goes out to Sue the 8 am to 4 pm desk clerk and to Debbie the 4 pm to midnight staff member. You gals are the tops as far as we are concerned. All hotels should have such good staff as that. Even the other staff members were friendly and helpful. Hotel was very easy to find off the turnpike too.

This place is clean and the staff was nice. They are making upgrades so they are getting better by the day. With so many crappie hotels out there, this was a sigh of relief to see clean beds, good carpets and nice staff.

Very nice hotel, i would stay there again if I'm ever in the area. There's stores very close by. The staff was nice and very helpful. The first day breakfast was nice with sausage,omelettes, hashbrowns and they have an machine that makes pancakes and you can also add toppings. They also have continental breakfast items. I only had two complaints wish they had regular size pillows and one day housekeeping didn't clean one of my rooms, but front desk staff immediately resolved room incident by bringing clean towels and taking trash out.

The outside of the building looks a tad dated and the entrance into the parking lot is tight but that is the only bad thing I can say about my stay. The employees are wonderful and the rooms were perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was hot. I will not stay anywhere else in Elyria.

We stayed here for just one night. It was fine. We used the indoor pool. We missed breakfast, unfortunately, so can't speak on that. But the accommodations were just what we needed. Very nice check in staff.

Since 2012 I always stay here overnight on my trips from NJ to IL and back. The hotel is very accessible from I-80. The staff, from the desk to housekeeping, is always helpful and professional. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is delicious specially the sausage and gravy!

This hotel was easy to get to. It was about 25 miles east of Cedar Point. It was very affordable, especially in comparison to the hotels in Cedar Point. The breakfast was good and the place was clean.

Stayed here for two nights to attend a relatives funeral. This hotel had obviously been redone. All new looking carpets, walls, beds, and furnishings, and outside had new paint also. Only problem, not for us, is that the pool was down for maintenance. We will stay here in the future when in the area.

My wife and I stayed here overnight on our way home from vacation. The hotel was very convenient to get on and off the turnpike. The hotel is an inside entry one. I will not stay in outside entry hotels. The front desk clerk, Joseph, was excellent. He was courteous and very helpful for us. We did not have a discount coupon for this hotel. I asked if he accepted coupons from other Best Western hotels and he said yes which he didn't have to do. He offered us a membership which got us a $10 coupon for a future stay at any BW hotels. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. The room was nicely decorated and had amenities such as a refrigerator and microwave and of course a TV. The hotel offered a very nice hot breakfast in the morning which was well worth doing. The morning manager (Becky) was very nice. She came around to every table to great all and make sure everything was okay. I highly recommend staying here. The price is right. As a hint: Stop at the info rest area of any state and pick up the hotel coupon booklet. It will save one a good few dollars.

If you are visiting Cleveland or its surroundings, you won't go wrong staying at the Best Western in Elyria, OH. It's easy to get to places in town and convenient to be on your way since the I-90 is closeby. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for less than 12 hours, it was very conveniently located off the highway and the staff are super friendly. The room was clean but the bathroom had a strange septic smell. We kept the fan on and kept the door closed and it was fine. We were looking forward to a dip in the pool after a very long day of traveling but it's still closed.

We booked this hotel on-line after researching its proximity to the 90 - we were driving to Detroit and wanted a place to stay about half-way along. It was a good value and extremely convenient on and off access. We belong to the Best Western loyalty rewards program and were happy to find one along our route at a good price.

We were travelling and booked here to spend the night. The rate was too bad for a Friday night, but the pool was not in working order. Yet, we were still charged the regular rate, not taking into consideration that we could not use the pool. The hotel itself was OK and I would stay here again for the right price.

From the outside the hotel looks a little run down. But on the inside it was clean and well kept. The pool was being renovated. The front desk person was helpful and efficient. Breakfast was adequate.

Great hotel for the one night we were there. Bed was comfy. Jacuzzi had some weird stains/marks in it, but it was super great to soak in after a 12 hour day of driving. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was good!

The room was clean & the breakfast was good. However, the bathroom door did not latch & there is not enough parking. Got in late & had to park in an abandoned lot behind the hotel & walk around. Although it was lit up from the hotel, I did not feel very safe back there.

Old and run down. Rooms smell. No Pool though they have one sort of. Breakfast the fruit looks like it came out a dumpster. The same holds true for the pastries. You can't screw up oatmeal. The eggs were very over cooked. I am not going to sit here all night writing how bad this is. You really need to experience this yourself.

i have stayed at this location in the past. good atmosphere. many sight seeing locations. staff is helpful for directions. shopping is close and available. would stay here in the future. not far from other local towns if you are going to be in the area for a few days.

Room bottom floor, no pool supposedly maintenance. Clean room. Breakfast was excellent. Odor of smoking in the corridors could have come from outside, or someone walking through on bottom floor. Bottom floor, hallways, and outside area by doors could use some attention, and upkeep. Like many other places slow getting printout of bill. We looked for another Best Western on our return trip.

Not the friendliest place I've ever stayed. And the pool was being redone and it was not on their website saying it was out. There was one lady that ran the front desk that was nice I can't remember her name but she said she had been there a long time.

We booked online a few weeks ahead and got a good discount on the room. The hotel was nicely maintained on the outside and appeared to have been redecorated fairly recently as it was very attractive and cheery inside. Our breakfast was included and it was a great buffet of a large variety of items, including a fresh pancake machine. Our room was neat and clean and well-maintained and the staff was very friendly.

Best Western in Elryai, OH- hotel as expected, nothing spectacular. breakfast was good :) pool under construction :( Room was adequate. Mattress too soft for me, had back issues next day. Good value. Rowland nature preserve just minutes from hotel with playground to give kids a place to stretch their legs before heading back out on road trip.

The first evening I checked in at 3PM. There was a hair in the bottom of the tub in the bathroom, and while the toilet had been "sanitized" (the sign was on it) there were "skid marks" in the toilet. I shrugged it off, flushed the toilet, rinsed the tub. I changed clothes, and then left for my event. I came back late. I walked in the door, and the first thing the hotel clerk said was that there were no rooms available (vs. Hello) and I looked at her and said, "I've already got a room." She said, oh, okay. I also had mentioned both earlier and that night when I came back that when I used the towel rack, it fell off the wall so I couldn't hang my towels. They said that they would have someone look at it to fix it. Never happened. Also, when I called the front desk from my room to get more towels, instead of just bringing them to me (there were two working staff members and it was like 4AM) they told me I'd have to come down and get them. So the next day I sleep in because of how late I was up. I put a "Do not disturb sign" on my door. This was around the time the housekeeping crew was coming around. They skipped me over which was good while I was sleeping, but then when I left at 1PM, I turned the sign over to say, "please service room." I get back again at 4AM that night, and my room had not been touched - towels were still on the floor, towel rack was still on floor, bed had not been made. I asked for late check out, and I got it. So the next day, again because I slept in, it was about 11 and I had the "do not disturb" sign on my door. I get a knock and a loud "housekeeping" shout. I don't answer, and they do it again. From my bed, I say, "I'll be out in about 45 minutes. "Okay no problem." They say. Since my room was late checkout, the housekeeping people should have been told. There was a male staff member who the first night I stayed and got back late offered me a grab and go bag for food, which was nice. I was at a large convention a half hour away, and the reason I chose this hotel was because it was all I could afford, so I didn't have much of a choice but to stay here. But I'm going to start saving my money now so that when I go to the convention next year, I can go to another hotel.

This hotel is clean and comfortable, and it offers great value for the price. Breakfast is adequate, but it would be nice to have a few more options like hot oatmeal and more varieties of tea. But overall, this is the best deal I've found in Elyria. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is well run.

Stayed for three nights while driving across country. Very welcoming and friendly staff; Debbie and Sue answered all questions we had. Clean rooms and prompt housekeeping service. Definitely recommend if you're working with a strict budget!

While taking 80 students on band competition in Cleveland Ohio, we decided to book and stay at Best Western Inn., in Elyria. Upon arrival 1 room out 25 were ready, the pool was under construction after we were told it was available for our students, and the breakfast area was posted "open 7 am until 8:30 am" when we were told 6 am. So after an hour of excuses, we went on our way to downtown Cleveland in order to get back on schedule of things to do. When returned later that evening around 10 pm, on of the rooms had bugs in the bed(not bed bugs) but some type of bug!, another room had a broken door that did not close or lock. About an hour and a half later and several room shifts and changes, we all settled down. The hotel was gracious to accommodate us and serve us breakfast at 6 am in order for us to make our competition on time! When we arrived back for the second night there, two of the rooms toilets failed to work and after a 2 minute look by the night desk manager, we were told that the youth "would have to lift the lid off the back of the toilet, hold the chain and push on the lever". Not what you want to hear being told to rooms of 15 & 16 year olds!!! We also had to place complaints against other tenants that reserved the jacuzzi suite and decided to blast music and party the night away, and some of our youth found some unopened adult birth control objects in the dresser drawers upon opening them!!! House keeping needs to be overhauled. It was a very stressful and exhausting part of the trip, after being assured when making the reservations that things were that the hotel would be able to accommodate our needs.

We use to stay at BW most of the time, however in our opinion quality has gone down. Overall service was good. The breakfast item that were warm were borderline cold. We had breakfast elsewhere. Sleep quality was good

While traveling to Minnesota this is a motel that is half way distance. It is located right off interstate 90 and 80 . Many restaurants near by also I stay here all the time when going west. I highly recommend it

Property is run down and not reflected accurately in photos. Rooms have a odor. Marijuana use in rooms is not addressed by staff. This property is poor at best. I would not recommend this motel unless you were desperate for a place to stay.

We had been on the road for 6 hours and were tired when we reached the BW hotel. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was what we needed, clean and restful. The breakfast was satisfying and they accommodated me as an early riser.

This Best Western is exactly what you'd expect: pretty basic, in a small uninteresting town, next to the expressway. We stay here because we have a child at Oberlin College about 20 minutes away. There's nothing that makes it stand out and you basically stay here because you need a bed for the night. But in fact, it does stand out - because of the staff. We have stayed here a couple of times. Both times the manger and front desk staff were cheerful, on the ball, and accommodating. During this visit we checked in late and the staff person at the front desk said, " did you know you had a smoking room?" We did not - it was a mistake. She immediately shifted us to another room. Although our room was marked non-smoking, it seemed to us that someone had been smoking there anyway. But we were exhausted so we just fell into bed. The next morning, after chatting with the extremely cheery, friendly manager during breakfast I asked if there was any way at all we could shift rooms and explained why. She had us moved in a minute with no fuss. Better: shortly thereafter I (without much hope) asked her if they had a couple of safety pins. She and her colleague actually dug around until they found a few for me. She also remembered us (or, at least, remembered our name) from the previous time we had stayed! Later in the day we realized that we had left a six pack of soda in the old room. We figured that was that, but just in case, that night we checked at the desk. The clerk quickly brought our six pack out - in a plastic bag - labeled for us. As we noted, it's just a Best Western near the highway. But given that we have four years of visiting Oberlin, it's nice to have a place nearby with such great people on staff.

The rooms were decently updated and overall the hotel is presentable. The pool was in really rough shape with ceiling tiles missing and insulation hanging down. The second floor and entrances reeked of smoke ...... and not cigarette smoke. The breakfast is very basic but fine. For the same money stay at another hotel in the area where they have more than one staff member keeping an eye on their property.

Soft towels, new carpet, sturdy and comfy beds, granite countertop, tile bathroom floor, fridge/micro, desk, "clean remote", great breakfast, friendly people salt water pool with warm water (ceiling unfinished at the time of our visit), great price thru Trivago. Will visit again!

My husband and I stayed in the Jacuzzi room and it was incredible! From the minute we walked in the front door we were greeted with a smiling face. Janine at the front desk was the definition of perfect customer service and truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The customer service was OUTSTANDING, room was perfect and breakfast was delicious. We were so happy with our stay that it made it hard to leave in the morning. When we did check out we were greeted once again with a huge smile from Sue who was so friendly and truly appreciates her customers. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and Jacuzzi was just what we needed after 1500 miles of driving. We highly recommend the best western of Elyria and if we ever find ourselves nearby again we will definitely stay there again! Do yourself a favor and stay here you will not regret it!

The Jacuzzi in our room was amazing. Love that there are rooms with Jacuzzis in them. Makes for a very personal and intimate stay. The bed was super comfortable as well. Will definitely be going back for another weekend.

Large sleeping area, small but functional and clean bathrooms. The breakfast had SOME good items. Stay away from the soggy hashbrowns. Coffee in the room is a great amenity. Close to surrounding colleges. Outside of hotel looks worse that it really is. Great value. I would stay again.

Everything in the room was very clean including newer showers/tub units with great water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful and tried to interact with you to see if your needs were being met.

We only stayed for 2 nights and that was too much. The staff was ok the food for breakfast was terrible the only good thing was the toast. The pool air was too hot.. to bad they had an Amazing CHAIR LIFT, but I could not tell if it worked. Could not stay in the pool area due to heat. Accessible room had a tub in it. Knew before we booked. We were only staying 2 nights. We thought maybe we would stay longer. but mold in the tub and the tap dripping changed our mind. I would NOT recommend!

We had 2 adjacent rooms that accommodated our family and the dog. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. The bathroom was clean. Parking was close to the room and we did not hear traffic from the highway.

Pleasant & helpful staff, great room and "great" breakfast. The room was clean, updated and contained all the amenities we needed. A little difficult locating the hotel off the highway. Many choices for breakfast and was far better than your typical "continental breakfast".

We booked this room after a long day of driving by finding it on a map at a turnpike rest stop. The rate was OK and I was told it was just off the turnpike, which is not really true. Good luck finding the sign. The small parking lot on the entrance side was lit, but if it was full, and we'd need to park in the unlit back lot, we would have left. The reception area and breakfast room has been updated, but the hotel stinks. Lots of rooms are marked as non-smoking, but the corridor to the rooms and our non-smoking room were smelly. Same with the bedding. Also, I always check the beds for bugs. I did not find live bugs, but found "something" (food crumbs, bug droppings, ?) on the mattress pad under the sheets, took a picture and was moved to another room. The hotel is quiet, but between the smell and the question of what the heck was on the sheets of the first room made me very uncomfortable so sleep was hard to do. TV reception kept going in and out. The indoor pool is small and the water level was low. It was too late to use it even if we wanted to, but it did not look inviting. We ate the complimentary breakfast in the morning which was standard and left without showering...just wanted to get out of there. Then we saw that we were directly across the street from the Ohio Dept. of Rehab and Correction....just saying. Desk staff were nice. If I could, I'd give this location 2.5 stars.

Very nice hotel for the money, clean and quiet, exterior and interior very nice,staff friendly. Breakfast was OK it had a decent selection. Location was grouped in a cluster and behind other hotels, sign is visible from the street.

We had a good experience at this Best Western. The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. It's nice to get the complimentary breakfast.The front desk clerk was very personable. We would recommend this hotel to families or business travelers.

The room and bathroom were immaculate, the bed comfortable, and the staff was helpful and friendly. After giving us recommendations for nearby restaurants, and discount coupons, we had a good night's sleep in this quiet room. In the morning, we appreciated the good breakfast. Solid value!

This Best Western has been remodeled and is very nice for the price. The rooms are spacious, with good beds, refrigerators and microwaves. They serve a good hot breakfast. The business center is small, but serves the need. And to top it off, they have an exceptionally nice staff.

The room was clean, cormfortable and had ample space. I was visiting family with my 8 and 4 year old grand-daughters. The breakfast was very good and there was a variety of foods to choose from. My grand-daughters liked it too. The hotel is great value for the money.

I am not a picky traveller but I do expect cleanliness from a hotel. This property was nasty. The smell of smoke and mould was very strong in the halls, which filtered into the room. When we went for the complimentary breakfast, it was non-existent! Should've believed other reviews! The sad thing too is that there is no compensation for any of the complaints.....too bad!

Beware, I was scammed. There was not a working shower at the hotel. Upon check out I asked Becky (front desk) to validate this check the room and she refused. I asked for a small adjustment in bill, say $10 or $20. She denied this and said only Mgr could do that. Also stated I would be contacted the next day. I called hotel several times in next two weeks, no Mgr even attempted to contact me. This is the service I received, but they got the full amount from my credit card. Watch out everyone!

We called last minute on a Thursday, and they still had a few rooms left. It's close to the highway and very convenient. We rented a crib, which I thought would be a pack n play, but was a fold out apartment size crib.

We (myself, 3 grandchildren) had driven 9 hours and made this reservation online beforehand via my IPhone. It was easy to find off of the Ohio turnpike and the lobby was tastefully decorated. Immediately upon entering the room, an unpleasant smell was noted. It had a chemical smell, not from a cleaner, and the AC was off. I turned the AC off and took the kids down to the pool. Before, I stopped at the front desk and informed the front desk clerk of the unpleasant smell. She said if the smell was still there when I returned to the room she would bring an air freshener to spray and " cover the smell." I informed her that I did not like odors/spray in my environment but that I expected fresh air, as much as can be provided with a room AC. The offensive smell was less when we returned and as we spent time in the room it was even less noticeable.

This hotel had pretty nice reviews from others, so I gave it a try. I was stopping on my way to Ann Arbor. The staff was very nice, location easy to find, although the area is a little confusing due to construction. There are plenty of places to eat nearby (standard chains). The room had obviously been renovated recently and was pleasant and clean, with a micro and refrigerator. The sink was separated from the toilet/shower, which I find convenient. AC worked great, and overall the hotel was quiet, although I don't think there are a lot of people staying here right now. You can hear kids on the second floor running around. The pool is ok. Water was freezing and the pool area was very humid and hot, but it was like that outside, so water temp was welcome. Pool area a little tired and rusty. The bed was ok, but here is the exception: although I was given a no-smoking room, there was a definite cigarette smoke smell in the pillows and bed. It was really off-putting. The room itself didn't smell of smoke and neither did the hallway, but the pillows and bed sure did. Other than that (which did disrupt my sleep) the place was great. I would stay again, but if I smelled the smoke, would ask for a different room.

This hotel was our second try and we couldn't have been more pleased. It was super clean and comfy. We had first tried to stay at the Days inn and it was so unpleasant. Can't go wrong staying here. Great breakfast as well.

We have all goods things to say about this Best Western. Well maintained grounds, great lighting outside, ample parking, close to many restaurants and activities. Rooms were spotless, beds comfortable, friendly staff and very nice breakfast. We highly recommended this Inn

My daughter and I spent one night at this hotel so I could take a break from driving. It was very easy to find, right off 80/90. We had a speedy checkin and the lobby looked welcoming and updated. The receptionist was very friendly. We like to stop in Elyria as the Sam's Club at the next exit has very low cost gas. The room was very nice, seemed to be updated recently. Nice, newer, clean bathroom fixtures. Granite countertop. Everything appeared clean and there was a mini fridge and microwave. Our room smelled fine, but unfortunately the hallways on both floors smelled like cigarettes. The pool was somewhat of a disappointment. For my daughter, a pool is the highlight of the hotel. The pool was conveniently located on the first floor. The door handle had some issues, making it difficult to enter. When we entered, it was a small warm room with a strange smell. We looked around for towels and found none. We asked someone who was already there and they told us we had to go to the front desk for towels. I hadn't planned on going to the front desk in my swim suit, but didn't want to go back to my room first, so we did. When we arrived back at the pool, we found the water was cold and my daughter went in and said the water had a funny smell. It was the shortest swimming session in our history of hotel pools! When relaxing back at the room, I did see in the hotel info binder that it stated that guests must go to the front desk for towels. It would be great if they could tell guests upon check in or in some other way since it is uncommon. The location is great for ease on and off the expressway and there are many restaurants and stores within a short driving distance. Not much within walking distance and no nice views from the rooms, but room is nice inside. Breakfast was fine, with some hot and cold items. The boiled eggs were much better than the egg “patties”. I was glad to see oatmeal and yogurt. There was not a whole grain bread item to be found the morning we were there, but there was some fresh fruit. Enough fuel for us to get back on the road!

I recently booked 50+ rooms for my employees to stay for a week. My employees expressed extreme gratitude and appreciation for all things, ranging from the hotel's rooms and atmosphere to the attention to detail and friendliness of the staff. I had the pleasure of working with the staff on a daily basis and would be doing them a disservice if I described the experience as anything less than perfect. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoyed the unforgettable experience provided by all. Thank you very much!

Best Western has changed it's decor, since my last visit; very nice. It was clean and quiet. Check-in was a little slow. with one person in front of me, it took about 20 minutes. I don't think one person should be working the counter on a Friday evening. My room was fabulous, bed very comfortable, only con was the pillows are too small. Breakfast was fresh and hot...good job!!!!!!!!!! I live in the general area, and I just wanted to get away for the weekend and relax; but because I live in the area I had to put to pay a deposit of $200.00. Which I understand to a point. But at 54 years of age, I was not looking to have a wild party and tear up the room. My relaxing weekend cost me $427.00. (wow). I will definitely stay again, if something can be done about the deposit...only downfall.

Sue took care of twenty-one people very well at check-in, today. She handled it very well. If I come back to Elyria, I will consider staying at this Best Western again. The hotel in general was clean. I liked Sues personality. I will recommend this hotel and Sue.

Good clean comfortable hotel. Fast Wifi and a good breakfast. It was an ideal location for my needs.Swimming pool was out of order, but I was not going to swim anyway. We stayed here after a 9 hour motorcycle ride. It was clean and everything in the room worked. The bed was ok. The location was good (for us anyway). The price was very reasonable and we have no complaints about our stay here. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here one night for my son's sporting event in nearby Oberlin. Hotel seems like it is a bad neighborhood. Check in was slow after a long day of driving. Room was sufficient enough but the bathroom is extremely small and water was hard to regulate in the shower. Beds were comfortable but the room temp was either blazing hot or freezing cold and noisy. The pool area was nice but NO TOWELS!!!! Someone said (after we were soaking wet) that you had to ask for them at the front desk. Breakfast was ok. The pancake maker was a hit with my 9 year old. I was disappointed that there wasn't any peanut butter for my toast. Overall the town itself is not that impressive and this was a good option given the area. It is an average hotel with an average price if you have a discount. My son stayed at the Days Inn and he told us it was awful so I guess I should consider myself lucky.

We arrived late at night for a few hours of sleep and breakfast before continuing our trip. The queen beds were comfy and breakfast was good. Very close to I-90 so it was a good choice for quick 8-hour stay.

Hotel was great in all categories. The only complaint was the air conditioning BUT it was also 94 degrees outside and it couldn't keep up. Microwave and refrigerator was great and the POOL! It was close to several restaurants and the mall.

This is an older hotel with carpeting throughout and unfortunately, the carpet holds a lot of smells. It also tends to be a bit dark in the hall ways. The pool is nice and large. Breakfast was actually decent. The area is very busy and rundown and definitely is not an area where you can walk

This hotel is outstanding! We always have to have an ADA room with a roll in shower. Other hotel chains never got the reservations right but Sue @ Debbie made sure we had everything we needed.The room was very comfortable & we had a very pleasant stay! We will be back!

Great Hotel, Great Staff. Very clean very comfortable. Very good value for the money. I dont choose any other hotels than Best Western, and this last stay will keep us coming back.The front desk girl was very welcoming, helpful, and informative, they were having a problem with the pool, and she told me about it, but my grandchildren enjoyed it anyway.

Stayed 1 night while driving cross country. Hotel was convenient with nice breakfast, overall great value. Did not use any of amenities (pool, business center, fitness center, etc). Front desk very helpful.

We stopped at the BW Griswold in Elyria, OH after a long day on the road. The staff was courteous and helpful during our stay, the internet quick and reliable, but the hallways and room smelled of a bit too much commercial disinfectant which seemed designed to mask the smell of cigaret smoke. Our room window was a single, fixed type and could not be opened to permit fresh air into the room. The air conditioner was good, but on the loud side. The breakfast fare was average, but did feature hard boiled and scrambled eggs. There was no microwave immediately available to warm food, but staff, when available, could heat food from the breakfast bar.

I have to admit I stay in a LOT of hotels. This is one of the few that recognised me as a "top level" Best Western customer with a bag containing water, chips and an energy bar. The room was fine for two people and the shower excellent. There was a huge fridge not to far from the bed and these I get annoyed at. How many of us have a fridge at home that kicks in regularly as you are trying sleep? Most of the time they are in the kitchen well away from you. That is the ONLY negative on the whole experience here. VERY friendly and helpful staff. It is also made easier to get there as the road has been changed near the hotel. Before there was an overpass and various turns could not be made. That has all gone and it is a regular set of traffic lights making arrival/departure nice and simple. I'd happily stay here again.

The staff is to be commended for making this a great stay! They did their best to meet out needs. I loved the convenience of the location! I really like that the roads were redone to make the access easier and safer. Only improvement I would make would be to the breakfast food, that is, include bacon or sausage links. The donuts went very fast and were constantly needing to be replenished! Regarding the sleep quality, I found the small pillows to be uncomfortable.

The staff at this location were all incredibly friendly from the front desk person all the way to housekeeping and management. There wasn't a single employee who looked unhappy or was mean. The room was clean and had no issues. The quirks were our first night there was a big truck who had it's engine idling just outside our room all night. There were some constructions people parked in the lot taking up a lot of space and one of them apparently stayed out there all night? I dunno, it was pretty loud and I could hear it over the fan in the room AND a pair of headphones. I let the front desk know and I was promised it wouldn't be an issue the next day, and it wasn't. The shower was designed in such a way that it was nearly impossible to not get water all over the floor in the bathroom. The combination of the curtain and the nozzle just wasn't that good. Location and price wise we thought it was fantastic. Very quiet and near places to eat. We would definitely come back again.

Good hotel, the bed was comfortable , but I would have prefered larger pillows.;For the amenities, I would have like a Lotion mini bottle and a bigger soap bar, but I am sure the desk clerk would have accomodate me with those. As for the breakfast I would have preffered a waffle maker to a pancake maker, and possibly a fruit salad.

The first time I stayed here I didn't expect out of the ordinary. Was I pleasantly surprised!! It all starts when you are greeted by Sue (during the day) at the front desk. The consummate professional. She will make sure you have a room that suits you and on subsequent visits, if you like, will make every effort to get you your favorite room. She remembers all of her guests and greets them when they return. The others who man the front desk are ALL very helpful and cheery. The housekeeping staff is nothing short of excellent. They sanitize and seal the toilets, make sure the rooms are spotless, and are never rude!! The owner is a great person and if you happen to meet him he will make you feel very welcome. This is my home away from home when I am in the Cleveland area.

Planned stop at Elyria, OH on way to Holland, MI. Overall quality of room and service was good. Nothing fancy but a good value. Room was clean and comfortable. Good restaurants, shopping and gas near-by. Convenient access to I-80.

My husband and I stay here often. This hotel and location work good for us. We have business close to this location every other month and when a room is available at this specific hotel we stay here. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. This hotel is a lot cleaner than other surrounding locations.

The interior has been nicely updated and the amenities are a great value. They even have a pool and work-out room! If you need to stay in this part of Ohio, this is a decent place--even though there appears to be a parole office across the street.

Room... Lots of bugs, most dead on the walls... Enough said. It's a strange place to be sure. Passing through and needed to rest. If only we had gone another exit or two. I'd post some photos but happily I left most of my belongings in the car. Did I mention that the sheets and towels seemed well worn and not clean? We were too tired to deal with the front desk which was another issue... They were multi task challenged. It all makes for those great travel stories to share later.

I called 3 days prior to my reservation to cancel one of my planned nights. The manager asked whether everyone in my group planned to call and cancel. I told her I did not know because I was only responsible for my own plans for the trip, as all members were. Then she complained that 3 people had called before me. Not my problem. I was well within my right and the cancellation policy to do so.

Sometimes you need a Ritz Carlton and sometime you just need a clean room at a fair price. This hotel was clean, recently updated and close to where we needed to stay. If you are visiting Oberlin College it's a great option.

Stayed overnight. Needs updating. Comfortable but no frills. Price was right and I needed the points. Stayed at many Best Westerns and this one was OK. Large room - just needs to be updated. Wanted water but they don't give any.

i've stayed here before. it is a nice place with a pool & exercise room. the staff is very nice. the breakfast is good. the heating unit is quiet & worked well. room was cleaned well. don't mind staying there again.

We had 15 rooms for The Eagles Bowling Tournament being held in Lorain for two nights. Picked the Best Western because of pricing, fitness room, pool and hot breakfast. Plus it being recently remodel was a please. The front desk staff was super nice, hotel was recently remodel, and had a pool. Not sure if they hired the cheapest contractors they could find for the remodel or decided to make it a Do It Yourself Project. The fit and finish of the remodel looks poor. In our room every thing hanging- lights, mirror, pictures, door to hallway (yes the door) was crooked.. The walls and doors seemed to be paper thin as we could here everyone and everything it seemed. It seems that most rooms on the hot and cold were switched on the sink faucet.The whole hotel seem to smell like your at the pool and we were on the opposite side of the hotel from the pool. We had a smoking room and I know it is going to smell like smoke but the stale cigarette smoke was so over powering it caused headaches. Cleanliness was okay- I have seen clean hotels and I have seen dirtier. The hot breakfast Saturday was missing the hot food items and a lot of cold food items but Sunday was loaded up with both items. Fitness area which was my only want, I got to work my frustration more then my fitness in that area. I attempted 3 out of 4 pieces of equipment before giving up because they didn't work right or at all. Thank goodness for the two stairwell and two floors that I just did laps in. Never made it to the pool because our room key wouldn't the door. One of our rooms refrigerator didn't work, reported to the front desk. Someone looked at it but nothing was done about it. Loved the beds and might have got a good night sleep if we didn't hear everything. For what we were doing and in town for the hotel worked but I would stay just to stay.

We were there for a funeral and Sue, who checked us in was so nice and fun to talk to. She gave us directions to the funeral home which we greatly appreciated. The room was perfect and the breakfast was also. I find hotel coffee not good but theirs was great. If in the area again we will definitely stay there.

Stayed here again for my sons Junior recital and was greeted with the experience I am used to. Staff is still excellent, and the same as years ago. Rooms are nice, breakfast has an offering for almost everyone. Finally have the freeway fixed, so getting to the place is much easier. All in all the stay was what I have come to expect...Excellent. Sue the day manager is a sweetheart, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Unless something changes, I'll continue to stay there as long as my son is at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music (2 more years!!!) Also there is a Speedway gas and mini-mart a half block away. If your staying a few nights, and drink coffee, get yourself a loyalty card. I received to free drinks while there.

Overall the hotels was ok for one night stay. Location was easy to find, close for where we were going the next day. I didn't like the pool, needs an update. Breakfast was ok. Maybe more options in meat but ok for the day.

We booked a nonsmoking room and even signed a form during check-in acknowledging we were staying in a nonsmoking room. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the end of the hallway next to the stairs. The room smelled of smoke upon entering. We immediately called the front desk. Apparently this hotel doesn't enforce their nonsmoking policy, as the front desk staff offered to come up and spray a room deodorizer. Parts of the room were filthy, but the bed and bathroom were clean. Our room had been partially upgraded but had older faulty sink and tub faucets and an old microwave. Bed was comfortable. Room location was very noisy. Parking lot lights were not working, so the lot at the far end of the building was very dark at night.

The price was in the high median for other places to stay in the area. The rooms and entire second floor smell strongly of smoke. Although the room was reasonably clean, there was a container of pld food in the microwave that was there for some time. The staff was apathetic when I complained.

We stayed here for two nights while we were visiting from out of town for a wedding. Overall the facilities were very nice and clean, parts of the building were clearly recently remodeled. The breakfast was fine for a hotel, nothing spectacular. The staff at the front desk were overall very nice and helpful. There were a few cons: we had booked a suite online that was listed as two bedrooms we thought would be connected by a shared space. This was really just two adjoining rooms so I'm not sure what the premium price was for. We were in room, and our friends in the room next door the room had a noticeable odor. Also a few parts of the room were very outdated...the microwave and the fridge. The biggest pro was probably the nice-ness for the price. If the wedding wasn't in Elyria I would have stayed closer to Cleveland.

Stopped at the Best Western in Elyria on our way home from spending the holidays with family on the east coast. The motel is convenient to I-80 and in the greater Cleveland area. Staff was friendly and efficient, the complimentary breakfast was good, internet was reliable and had a strong signal for being at one end of the motel, room was clean and beds comfortable. All in all, a good place to spend a night on the road.

This Best Western is a very comfortable contemporary style, and is convenient right off the thruway. We found a couple small problems with the hotel, but our overall experience was good.I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know that is traveling through this area.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The pool is great and i really enjoyed the breakfast. Make sure to have your AAA memberships benefits and discounts added when you arrive to enjoy an amazing discount off the overall price of the hotel.

The Jacuzzi was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. had a great stay. shower and bath floor could have been cleaner. but the Jacuzzi was very clean. the hotel pool was kinda cold. check in lady didn't really explain or didn't act like she knew how to check us in? but over all stay was Great

This is the "BEST" Best Western we have ever stayed at, and we just stayed at 3 different ones over the holidays. It's rooms are CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! BED is GREAT. We slept so good, No doors slamming all night long, or rude people yelling outside in the halls. Good hot and plenty of food to get us going on our way in the morning. (eggs, sausage, pancakes + all the other stuff) The room was BIG, everything WORKED!!! Parking right outside our window, on ground level. These things are all big A+ in our book. Everyone was wonderful to talk with and had a smile on their face, and made us feel welcomed. They do have a pool, we just didn't get to use it. If we EVER are in this area again we will be staying here again.

As several others have said, "OK," but I would add "overpriced" by about twenty dollars. I am puzzled at those who provided accolades, because I found the hallways on the dingy side, although the rooms were...well, OK. And the breakfast was better than that: as complete as one would find in this class of accommodations. What was shocking, however, was the state of the fitness room, which seems to have been totally abandoned: the equipment was cheaply made, but that was an irrelevant consideration, since none of it worked. Even the TV had been removed! If you are not a fitness buff (most motel guests aren't, at least not while on the road), then you could presumably do a lot worse than staying here.

This is the best hotel in Elyria as far as I am concerned. I stayed two weeks ago and will stay again this coming weekend. I visit family there fairly regularly and I have stayed at most of the hotels nearby. This one is modern, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and my room was very nice, especially for the cost. I had a fridge, microwave, and a good bed. It was very clean. I did not smell smoke like another reviewer suggested and I am very sensitive to it. The breakfast was very good! The coffee even tasted great, which is unusual for hotel coffee. I am very pleased and will only stay here from now on.

We were looking for a reasonably priced room for one night and this hotel fit the bill. Room was very clean, staff was very friendly, and hot breakfast was excellent! Hotel is very well located, right off the expessway.

First a warning, If you are coming from the south on 57, your GPS may try to have you turn right on Midway, then left, then left on 49th street. This used to take you onto a bridge over 57. The bridge is being demolished, so turn left at the light either before or after Midway. Room was large with plenty of storage space. And, for those of you who have read other reviews of ours, you know that we have a thing about the bathroom. This had the best tub of any motel during our two week trip (deep, wide, and plenty of hot water). Breakfast was good, but not as many choices as some other places.

Just to let you know they finally had an elevator installed. Still can do the stairs, but nice to know it's there if you need it. Same friendly staff, nice breakfast. Stay there twice a year and it has only gotten better. Keep up the good work

What a surprise, not expected. We choose this location because it was close to a place we were going to visit . We had about 6 hotel choices, but despite some not so good customer commentaries we choose this location, base on price,location and convenience. Big surprise to find such a clean place, warm, nicest employees ,always with a smile in their faces, nice rooms, very clean and renovated Our two rooms( we were politely asked to relocate to another room during our 5 days stay, as they wanted to finalize the room bathroom renovation, of course, it was asked in a very nice way, and they never force us to do it . W agreed to move, and the new room was even in a better shape that the first one we got. Room were spotless, bathroom was also spotless, services offered like free wifi was good,same as tv channels, carpet, bed and pillows The morning free breakfast at a very clean and cozy room was one of the best free breakfast we have had in this kind of road hotels The offered breakfast was always kept with plenty of food. We had breakfast 5 mornings ,and there was plenty of food every day Breakfast included, pancakes,4 choices of cereals,eggs omelette, with ad without cheese, patties, hash potatoes, choice of 4 juices, bread and pastries, milk,fresh coffee,choice of instant oatmeals..what else to expect. I have read some commentaries before my stay about the location, been close to a road renovation and " supposedly " a dept. of correction rehabilitation offices. It is true, but is another government office, that in any case put into jeopardy ,the safety of the place. Ah, there are 3 more hotels in the same area, and it does not look that this particular office offer any insecurity. It is just an office ,almost empty during the day and it is not too close to the hotel It look to be unfair to write a negative commentary on this nice hotel because of such outside government facilities ,been close. Sincerely, it was a wonderful time, in a nice small hotel,nice employees always with a smile and salute in their mouth. Is a hotel I would recommend for a short or even long stay Small heated interior pool where kids and adult had fun..

Extremely satisfied with everything about this location. Check in staff very helpful and will go the extra mile to help you out. Was there for 2 nights and was so comfortable it was unbelievable. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. My compliments to all the employees.

Staff was very friendly, the hotel was nice, clean and efficient for the rate. I liked the way the rooms connected for families. Breakfast was good. We just wish the pool would have stayed open later than 10pm. When you are out of town visiting it is hard to get back into your room by that time.

Very impressed with Best Western particularly this hotel. My boyfriend and I had been traveling across the country to relocate for a new job, and this hotel was a great stopping point in relation to the highway. The room was clean, very modern, and the breakfast in the morning was hot and great to fuel up before another day of driving!

this hotel has been recently remodeled and is a good value for the price. very friendly staff, decent breakfast and nice rooms. only complaint is the low flow shower head..it was difficult to adjust to get any pressure

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family just outside Cleveland. This Inn is clean, friendly, had free parking, free wifi and FREE complimentary breakfast. Not just bagels and coffee, there was a pancake machine, eggs, sausages.....etc. no complaints at this best western!! We will be back

Another excellent stay. The staff at this hotel really take pride in their work and it shows. We always get top notch service and a clean, fresh room. Definitely the best hotel in the area. I do recommend making a reservation as this place gets more popular as time goes on.

After leaving Canada and heading West I have used Best Western Motels almost exclusively. I find that the internet service and the hot breakfast are worth it to refresh me on my travels. The staff was very attentive and answered any questions I may have had to the best of their abilities.
