« Nice hotel for stop over »

Traveling from Houston to Meridian, MS. Decided to stay here rather than drive to Meridian. This is a nice, remodeled BW. The owner seems to really care as things were clean and breakfast was good. Felt safe. Price was right too. I'll stay here again.

« Clean rooms and friendly staff »

The rooms were very clean and it was nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, but we didn't like the pillows. We were able to logon to wifi easily and had a good signal. The hotel was located extremely close to Jones Junior College which was where our conference was located.

« Great Place to Stay »

We have been very satisfied with our stays in Best Western Hotels. Always enjoyable, friendly staff, clean properties. Best Western is one of our first choices when we need a motel or hotel during our travels.

« Quiet Gem in Country Setting »

This reasonably priced hotel competes well with more pricey hotels. Its location is just a short distance to Laurel, MS. The hotel itself is quiet and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfasts were good and the staff professional and friendly...always taking pride in representing the hotel well. We stayed five nights at the hotel and were well pleased.

    « Quiet Gem »

What a delightful experience and jewel of a hotel! Located just a few miles from Laurel, MS, this hotel offered a quiet refuge in a country setting with a very professional staff with an easy drive to the baseball fields. The owner/manager was very hands on and visible doing more than his share of the work to make guests feel welcome and provided for. When in the area, you will want to consider a stay at this hotel.

    « Quite Comfortable »

I really liked the semi-secluded location of the establishment. The facility is nice and clean, and it has a nice atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is the bathroom was too small. The door scraped against the toilet when opening and closing the bathroom door. The staff was genuinely hospitable and made me feel welcome! It was a good value for the price.

« decent for the money »

Be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor rooms if there are issues with climbing stairs. Breakfast has limited choices but is good for price. The staff was friendly and professional. ...

    « excellent choice »

great breakfast, very nice and helpful staff & a good location. I would defiantly stay here again. the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful with directions and go out of there way to make your stay comfortable.

« Not the Best BW; but not the worst »

There are few places to stay in the small town of Ellisville, so kudos right off the start for having a place there. Check in was great and the person on duty was very informative. Matress was a little soft for our taste; the room was decently furnished with a small microwave and fridge; room was clean; hall carpets smelled a tad musty. The breakfast was one of the worst we've experienced in the Best Western chain. So if you stay, you might want to consider breakfast somewhere else. We made do with yoghurt in the fridge.

    « Nice & Quiet »

The B/W in Ellisville, Mississippi is a nice and quiet stop for an overnight stop. The room was average. The motel and lobby were very attractive and the staff is helpful. Tip: check out the Shell station next door as it is like an old southern general store---a great place to browse and check out locally written books about the area during the Civil War. And-Oh---don't forget to try some southern freshly boiled peanuts regular or Cajon flavored.

    « Best Western @ Ellisville »

SUPER BARGAIN PRICE...GREAT EXPERIENCE. Clean and very quiet place. Friendly helpful staff. Could not have been happier. The front desk even gave us local restaurant choices. The beds are vary comfortable.

« As Usual BW is a great place to stay »

We typically stay at BW when traveling. This one was no exception to having a comfortable, clean and functional hotel to stay in. However I'll only give the breakfast rating a 3 on1-10 scale. The reason was the eggs were old and drying up. Hotel rep didn't seem to be overly concerned about resolving the problem when I approached him about it.

    « rooms »

good rooms, carpets and sofas are getting worn, breakfast fair, tubs are worn, area quiet and safe for single travelers or couples Ice machine went out on the second night and the coffee was cold. Motel is near a new gas station and store for needed items. New air and heat units in all rooms. No elevators for second floor.

« Best Western, Ellisville, MS »

Our room keys did not open the outside access doors, ever. The first night we had arrived late and chose to park closer to our room. The room key did not open either door at that end of the building. The second night our room keys had to be redone to open the lobby doors.

    « No elevator »

I checked in for a business trip, having never been in a Best Western hotel. The rooms were nice, clean, and had a fridge and microwave. The complementary breakfast was OK. Nothing was within walking distance except for a gas station. The only major issue was no elevator. Lugging up heavy luggage with bad knees was a challenge and hurtful.

    « Great value, clean & comfortable »

Great value at a new-ish/redesigned hotel. Very clean and modern with comfortable beds and well-appointed rooms. Hospitality was terrific. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Among the nicer Best Westerns I've visited.

    « One night »

Just passing through on our way home from a trip up north. Was a nice place to stay and since I am a Best Western member it was a no brainer. The only thing is they do have smoking rooms. My wife smokes so we got a smoking room. Not recomended because it smelled bad.Front desk gladly changed our room .

    « Enjoyed my stay. »

The Ellisville Best Western is a nice place to stay, the staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. I stayed here while doing some genealogy research in the area. It is easy to find and quick access to Interstates. If you are in the area I would recommend this Best Western.

    « Quick stay »

Needed a quick place to stay on the way to New Orleans. This was exactly what I needed. Clean, Quiet, Friendly, Reasonable price, good free breakfast. Nothing fancy but everything worked and was clean. Small town with auto store, general stores and small restaurants easy to get to about 1/2 mile off this exit.

« A Perfect Stay From Beginning to End! »

This hotel was fantastic! Jennifer, who checked us in, was very friendly. After a long drive, it was nice to be greeted by her. We almost stayed in Hattiesburg and I'm so glad we didn't. This is one of the nicest Best Western's I've stayed in. The rooms are well-appointed and very clean. It's evident that everybody here from the GM to the housekeeping staff take great pride in this property. There's a country store right next door so that sells all the essentials, which is convenient. The next time we're in this part of Mississippi we'll definitely stay here. Just finished up an overseas business trip where I stayed in a large, luxury brand hotel. The service was just as god here!

« Nice Quiet Hotel in Small Southern town »

Clean motel in a very quiet location. The bed was very comfortable. The management very helpful. The breakfast was average for a Best Western. We did experience some problems which were resolved by management. Initially assigned to a room that had not been cleaned but were immediately, of course, reassigned. The door would not closed which was resolved within a couple of hours. No drain plug in the bath tub. An arm fell off a chair. Overall it was a good value and I would stay at this property again.

    « ellisville ms »

there were handles all the way around ..they may have not had a walk-in shower in complex but when I booked room I asked for this . I was careful and there was no falls but this was not what I had been promised. Since this is a small town I had no choice meeting was on the campus which was 5 minutes away. this was my issue with my stay

    « Great place »

Hotel had big rooms and was very quiet and clean. Only drawback was there is NO elevator but it is only a 2 story hotel so no big beal for us. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall I would stay here again and recommend this for anyone traveling in the area

    « Great service. »

Stayed here when attending a family event. Reserving room was easy. Facility is very clean, staff helpful with information about area. Free continental breakfast. Accommodated special need to check in early so we could change into dress clothes.

    « Warm and friendly. »

I had to take a test the next day and booked a room for the night. I got the "best value" king size room for $69/+tax. The room was clean and spacious with a sitting area. The desk clerk was welcoming. There was even a traveling, kids baseball team but the I didn't hear a peep. I was able to study and get a good night's rest. The continental breakfast offered a variety: scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, call cereal, yogurt, pastries, etc. I ate the eggs, biscuits & gravy. It was decent. All in all, I would recommend this Best Western for anyone needing a room for the night or longer.

    « Family trip »

This is second year we stayed in this hotel. Everything was good. We were happy to find sausage, eggs, and biscuits for breakfast this year. Only snag was we had a room with 2 queen beds and one of the beds had a mattress that was getting hard and springs were able to be felt. Other bed was good. My Mother in Laws room had both of their beds good. The room we had last year also had good beds. Pool was clean, hotel was clean. No complaints.

    « Best ...ern »

Well, in the town of Ellisville- you have limited options for lodging. There are neighboring cities (Laurel and Hattiesburg) with nicer places to stay. My family stay at this Best Western because of the convenience of this location. The hotel sign that illuminates at night is never working properly- this should be an indication as to how your stay here may go. The front desk isn't helpful and unwelcoming. No elevator. This is a smelly motel. Don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed.

    « Horrible, never again »

Checked in for a king bed room with pull out sofa = no bed sheets and blanket for sofa bed = desk clerk reason: "we do not have any extra blankets have to wait until morning for house keeping". The was unable to provide a blanket for the sofa bed and one of us had to sleep with out a sheet and blanket. Not enough towels: four people sleeping in 1 room and only 2 towels... Need extra towel for pool... no extra towels. When asked the Manger ?Denis Patel? for extra towels and why does he not have any, his response was "we provide the bare minimum of towels according to Best Western Policy" (no extra Towels for anyone) so not enough towels for taking a shower for 4 people and no towels for the pool that was dirty that day because the pump is broken. Our room Had mold in it and had to move. Down right one of the worst hotel experience In a long time over our stay of 3 nights. Manager was very unprofessional and rude to his guest, they do not accommodate there guest or try to, the pool was not maintained and dirty, lobby closes at 9pm so you better get out or the desk clerk gets mad at you. House keeping goes through our personal bags and drawers to find any towels that we might have gotten a hold of and takes them to replace with bare minimum of 2 to dry off 4 people in a room, mold, mildew smell in room. Don't stay here, keep driving north or south and find a real hotel not this pretend to be hotel. Oh by the way other gust had the same towel and blankets issues as us.
