Hotel FREIgeist Einbeck, BW Signature Collection

Modern hotel in a very old town. Lots of polished concrete and repurposed industrial objects. Staff were very good. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant not open on Sunday evening so walked into town ( very historic) . Room was very spacious and had a big bath. Car park at the side. Free WiFi.

Freigeist Einbeck is a modern, comfortable and original hotel in Einbeck. I stayed here one night during a bike trip to Berlin and it was definitely my favourite hotel along the route. Staff is friendly, breakfast was very good. The hotel rooms are spaciuous, very clean and modern.

Stayed here a few nights and was impressed with the style of decor, nice modern theme with a clean and well maintained feel. Excellent gym area as for a hotel and there are some nice chilled rooms on the top floor for relaxation. Easy walking distance of most things in Einbeck. Breakfast was reasonably nice. Would stay again.

We stayed here for one night on a bicycle trip and enjoyed the hotel. It is most unusual for a German hotel, as it is repurposed from an industrial building. There is a lot of open space, bare concrete and reclaimed wood in the rooms and in the common area. The staff was most helpful and allowed us to store our bicycles in a conference room that was not being used, so we did not have to leave them outside. Many thanks!

We had little expectation of the hotel and the town of Einbeck before our trip as we had not visited the area before. The hotel was hence a very positive surprise - modern, thoughtfully designed and with friendly service throughout. It is not only the many design features that cleverly play on the automobile theme given by the museum next door - the coffee bar made from an old Isetta car was my personal favourite - but that the bedroom layout is well thought through. We stayed at the Freigeist hotel for a large family reunion with many children from ages zero to 15 which could sometimes be boisterous, and the staff handled the occasional spilled drink gracefully. When staying at the hotel one should definitely also visit the PS Speicher museum next door - it is much more than just an antique car collection as it also shows the development of motor vehicles a social context. The museum also has many special features and games from children, so that a visit can be a family experience

Staying at the Freigeist was a lovely experience. My room was large, clean and well maintained, there was plenty of natural light and a nice view over the museum. I didn't check out all of the hotel but the facilities on offer looked good, there was also a great view over the town from the communal terrace on the top floor. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism of the staff and would definitely stay again :)

I stayed there for 1 night during my business trip in september. Everything was great, I was really surprised. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Rooms are modern with well designed furniture. I would like to come back and stay there longer.
