"FIND ANOTHER HOTEL"

Worst hotel EVER. DONT waste your time or money. They DOUBLE charged me. Everything was paid for AT THE HOTEL UPFRONT. My view was third floor and of a construction-site. Two days later (after leaving/checking out) I get a double charge for the same amount and no one can tell me anything. I am still getting the run around and DISRESPECTED not to mention the supervisor HUNG UP ON ME while I was talking. Okello. Jamelia was BEYOND disrespectful. As an African American and her being the only African American that works there I am even more disappointed with her nasty and unprofessional attitude. She's just as bad as okello and with his nasty attitude (of course also black) I see exactly why she thinks she can talk to people like that. She started laughing and sighing while I was talking and asking questions then verbalized she was irritated after she was raising her voice at me. She talked over me, cut me off and stated she already knows everything but then when I asked basic questions she didn't know literally anything. I asked if the calls were recorded (so the manager could see her nasty statements and unprofessionalism) she didn't know. I asked when Sam would be there, she didn't know. I asked when the managers would be there I'm weekends, she didn't know. I asked how long she worked there, she didn't want to “talk about herself right now.” I asked who told her Sam was no longer calling back after her supervisor, okello, clearly explained Sam would be taking my case, she didn't know. It PAINS me as both an African American AND a supervisor of my company that she acted like that. This is why we get treated the way we do and have stereotypes about black women. She acted in every stereotype about us and it's disgusting. If she was an employee for my company and I heard her treat a customer with such disrespect, she would've been terminated IMMEDIATELY. I wouldn't have even let her finish her shift no matter HOW bad we needed the help. We don't need disrespectful people like that and you will NOT be talking to any of my customers (new, old, potential, WHATEVER) like that. With Okellos behavior and “leadership” I see why that girl thought that behavior was okay. Not to mention I had just written him an email about how great Sam was and how I had to give him props and even said he had to be a great supervisor for Sam to be so awesome. I paid for each night UPFRONT to avoid any bills AFTERWARDS. I get a charge yesterday with NO explanation and I never even was given or sent my bill or total or anything. They're crooked thieves and they need to fire half their staff. I'm DISGUSTED by this hotel and I will be going up there and filing a full report and alerting the police of their THEFT. I am DISGUSTED I bought one day originally and extended for two more days because I enjoyed the gym (when it was open when Sam worked) and everyone was ok for the most part. AS SOON AS YOU CHECK OUT YOURE NOTHING. I CANT GET AN ANSWER ON MY DOUBLE CHARGES? You have the supervisor hanging up on me? No one knows when the manager gets in? The phone didn't work and the host stated they won't fix it since I'm leaving tomorrow anyway. I talked to a different host and she fixed it immediately. That should've been done originally. That's such a serious hazard. Not to mention I had bought another day so I wasn't even leaving the next day. I can't even get an answer on who's above these disoriented “staffers.” I'm filing with the owner and the police against this disgusting hotel. Not to mention I have proof of their double charges. I recorded part of the disgusting conversation with jamelia. I don't care how high I have to take this but this type of behavior is never okay. I just left the hospital, I just wanted some time to heal and relax, AS THE STAFF KNEW ABOUT, and I can't even get that. This hotel needs to shut down. They're working on opening and also owning Staybridge and I don't know if they let all their terrible employees work there & new, better ones @ Staybridge but they need new EVERYTHING!

This is an old wood construction hotel, which means that any activity in the room above is amplified into the rooms below. Very noisy group upstairs. I didn't sleep at all. I finally called the front desk at about 2:30 AM. They said they would handle the problem. They did not.

We booked this hotel because of the "Best Western Plus" name. We had just come from staying in one in Texas that was superb. This one was so disappointing. The front desk staff was very nice.. but everything else was horrible. Room was not 100% clean... but not bad enough to switch rooms. I did however find a hair that wasn't ours in the shower. EWWW. The tiles on the floor outside bathroom door were loose. Shower wasn't hot... and the bathroom door wouldn't open the whole way without scrapping on the floor. The TV was horrible. Picture was pixelating and the clock on the tv was 45 minutes off. Remote wouldn't work either. You could go up and down channels, but couldn't put channel numbers in to go there directly. VERY annoying. We were not happy with our room... they gave us an adjoining room.. and we could hear the people next door very clearly all night. Not a quiet room. Will NOT stay here again. Front desk staff had masks on when we checked in , but not when we checked out. NO breakfast was offered to us.

Best Western was clean. Staff took good care of to make sure it met safety guidelines set forth from the CDC. The room was clean though the walls were thin (could hear the TV on the other side). The decor and colors were spot on. Whoever did the decorating for the hotel, did a good job. The microwave and fridge were in working order. The shower needs a bit more water pressure, but the temperature was great!

I normally use IHG for my business needs but needed to bring my pets due to a short notice. I liked the facility and made sure due to the current COVID-19 scare to only allow someone in my room when required for cleaning. Instead I kept it clean myself. Everything was fine until I checked several days later. They had originally charges me $100 pet fee for a week which I understood. They added another $250 charge without telling me. I guess they thought it was a company card and no one would notice or dispute. I called asking and was told there was no one available to talk to about it and the room was trashed with urine everywhere. My dog had one accident while there I cleaned up immediately. This was a way to pack the charges on due to declining booking amid COVID-19 and extensive construction nearby. I would never stay here again the sneaky way they did this and a manager would not talk to me about it prior to charging.

dirty carpet. windows do not open. small room. great front desk crew. handled alot of complaints when i was in lobby at differnt times during my stay. kept it cool and professional. breakfast was ok.decor seems to be updated. quiet and conveinient .

Liked this hotel but didn't love it. Nice restaurant attached to hotel. Nice breakfast buffet. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. This place is really big. When you have an issue walking that's not a good thing. Restaurant (with breakfast buffet) are on one side of the hotel while all the rooms are the opposite end. A bit difficult to navigate with knee issues. Still good rate & room.

The hotel seemed to be newly renovated. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. All my family decided to visit again. Now this hotel become one of our favorite hotels. I really appreciate the staff.

I had a two day training day in Duluth and found the Best Western Plus was very close to my destination. Jamilia was very nice along with all the other employees. Great customer service. The breakfast was nice and the room was very comfortable for my two night stay. The only complaint I would say is if you are going to patch an area of the ceiling make sure it is done properly. The people above me had a small child that was a bit hard on the floors but I didn't ask for another room.

I have to review this hotel in 2 parts.... 5 stars for the cleanliness, feel, and hotel decor. This hotel is very clean I was very comfortable when I arrived. The rooms were spotless and the floor were tiled for the pet friendly rooms. The housecleaning team is a 5 star team. 3 Stars for the rest of the hotel. I was traveling with 2 dogs, 2 kids and my mother. I wanted to talk to the hotel to make sure that there was still space on the first floor and that we could get a pet friendly room. I called the hotel over a 24 hour period at least 25 times. Never an answer. I called the reservation desk and they called the hotel and no answer. I called the customer care office they tried getting a hold of the hotel, no answer. Customer Care did not have a back up number. I thought maybe their phones were out. Upon arrival I asked at the front desk and the lady told me she was having no problems with the phones. I noticed part of the problem that one person is doing all the work. First thing in the morning the front desk person puts a sign up saying if you need me I am prepping food in kitchen. My next issue was upon arrival I told them also about my dogs and they did not tell me they had a really nice dog area in back of hotel. I figured it out the next morning while walking my dog around. They really should highlight that fact since it was a very nice area to take your pets after a long time in the car. I would like to note that the lady at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was not tasty at all and I was extremely disappointed. The coffee was undrinkable and I dumped it out. I would stay here again because of the 5 star cleaning team. It would be wonderful though not to worry on an 11 hour drive through pouring rain if there would be a room available for you because of your pets.

I stayed here for 8 nights for business trip. This was my first stay at the Best Western Duluth but it won't be the last. The convenience of location and the helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. The rooms were very clean comfortable and I found it quiet. I highly recommend this establishment and I would stay again.

I always stay at Best Western everywhere I go, but everything was above and beyond about this BW. They were finishing a remodel I presume, but you couldn't tell it from the inside. The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. The staff was wonderful, and the fragrance of the hotel was phenomenal. I will definitely try to stay at this hotel again when I'm in the Atlanta area. I live in Tennessee, and I was very impressed with my first ever visit to Georgia, and this hotel was 90% of it. The beds were a little high for me because I am short, but they were so comfy and cozy. The décor was fabulous and classy. I didn't get up in time for breakfast because the beds were so comfy, but the rooms have individual keurig machines which was fab for me. The location is away from traffic and somewhat secluded, but I enjoyed that. Please make this hotel your priority if in the Daluth, Atlanta area.

Our stay here at the Best Western Duluth was fantastic. The rooms were attractive and clean and the bed was wonderful. The breakfast was tasty and plenty of choices whatever your preference. Parking lot was well light and close to entrance. In checking in and out the staff very knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. I want to recognize Regina at the front desk when we checked out because she was amazing!! We plan on staying here next time in the area. I just have one complaint and it's only for the GM because in the grand scheme overall for all the guest it may not relate to them. Sunday morning when we took out shower\\bath the body wash along with everything else showed a citrus fragrance. Well, it wasn't. It was vanilla. We are not a big fan of this smell and especially to soap our whole body in it. We told this to Regina and she apologized and said they must have ran out of citrus and gave us a hand full of citrus body lotion. Like I said overall IT WAS GREAT!!!

We were forced to find a room for the night. Didn't get in until 10pm. The receptionist helped us find the place since construction kept us from finding it. The receptionist was very kind and friendly and went out of her way to help in every aspect of our visit. The beds were amazingly comfortable...slept like a baby. The downside is the lighting in the hallways were dreary. The breakfast was super great. Scrambled eggs, bacon, cooked oatmeal, bagels, toast, cream cheese, yogurt, waffles etc. Microwave for your own things. Tea and coffee in your room. Wonderful place and would stay here again, if the opportunity arises.

Our stay here was very nice except for the construction going on and the pool being closed. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. Even with all of the construction going on outside of our window, it was very quiet in the room. Hopefully it will be really nice when the construction is finished, less dusty, and with an open pool the next time we visit Duluth.

Very welcoming check in. Nice room. Beds are firm but that's more of a personal preference. We like it cold and the a/c was right on time!! The bathrooms are spacious! The breakfast was good too! Had a great stay! Would recommend!

nice rooms, pet friendly, great bkf. only one clerk on the desk at 930 on a friday night. Waited 50- minutes to get a room- i was preregistered.On the plus side, the room was very clean and the staff were very professional and pleasant.
