Best Western Plus Two Rivers Hotel & Suites

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Coming to the small town of demopolis I was worried because I didn't have many hotels to choose from. This best western was very clean, updated, and the staff were very friendly and kind. The lady there on 2/24/24 @ 10am. You are awesome, kind, and so patient and I really appreciate you.

The king bed was a pillow top type. Very soft and it felt like I was sinking in. (I'm usually a firm mattress kind of guy). I fell asleep right away and woke up 9.5 hours later. I've not slept like that in decades. I asked the front desk for mattress info - she'll find that out and email it to me. The TV service is useless. Ch up/ch down is all. No menu. No channell guide. It's only option is to go one channel at a time to see what's available. Useless and frustrating.

The room was extremely clean. Staff at desk and in kitchen were very courteous. Everything in the room worked. Would definitely stay there again. A few problems at breakfast and no discount on the room or I would have given it a 5 star rating.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great every morning. Quiet nights and the beds are comfortable. The only negative I could really say is that the door on my particular room was very loud when closing. Not sure if the guests next door were bothered by it or not. Other than that it was a great stay.

The staff is amazing!! Rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. Rooms always very clean. The front desk people are super helpful with any thing you need to be accommodating. Everything from another blanket to fixing a stay and getting reward points.

There were two lights out over the vanity in the bathroom and the handle was broken on the toilet, but other than that, I was very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the room. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

I rarely give five stars, but I can truly say this was by far one of the nicest and friendliest hotels I've stayed in. You can tell everybody enjoys what they do and their goal is to make your stay enjoyable.

The staff was friendly, room was clean. The breakfast was good oh my goodness the grits yummy! Location was good with plenty of store close by like Walmart, Dollar General and Dollar store,liquor store and lots restaurants.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was great. Had everything you could ever need. Only con was that the breakfast wasn't amazing (but the nespresso coffee machine they had was awesome). Overall, I'd recommend

This hotel was such a surprise to us. We were on vacation and this was a stop so we could go to a graduation in Tuscaloosa. Being a relatively small town I wasn't expecting such renovated, comfortable and clean accommodations. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C wasn't noisy. Room was spacious with a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast they offered without cost was very good. Omelets were freshly made and they had a machine that made pancakes. Other food was available and all clean and neat. The reception area was clean and open and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I recently stayed here for a friend's wedding. The Front Desk staff, especially Willie, was very thorough and accommodating, but the kitchen staff needs more training! i'm an early bird, (breakfast at 6). i asked the kitchen staff(Mattie) what time was breakfast going to be served. She proceeded to tell me that she had a tip jar. i told her i didn't have any cash on me and she then told me there was an ATM machine in the hotel. Needless to say, i wasn't sure what to say. I know this is a small town, and i am a tipper, but I felt that it was being demanded that i give a tip. I usually stay at Marriott and Hilton Branded Hotels and NEVER HAVE I BEEN ASKED FOR A TIP. HR- more training is definitely needed here.

The motel was clean and very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good and was an overall peaceful experience can't say enough about how nice and comfortable the beds was. Clean sheets no normal hotel bed

So I stayed here 6 years ago when traveling and it was a great stay and everything was good. This time around found some disappointment. Everything was fine room wise and clean and taken care, we left early so we did not do breakfast. But the disappointment comes with the check out process. When we went to check out we wasted nearly 45 minutes trying to check out to no avail and the lady doing breakfast woke clerk up for us. But the problem rises when he says we were not even registered but yet my credit card was charged Was told I would receive a phone call which never happened and I called them in the afternoon during rest stop to see what was going on. The room rate was wrong as well. Claim was everything was fine. Then get home and check my account and find over 400 dollars in charges form them for just a 1 night stay! This is not acceptable and still have not even gotten a receipt. Called again and same story. So my advice is to always check your account and really glad it was not my bank account and I didnt need my card since they drained it! Dont mind staying here but this can never happen by no means.

I rarely ever do hotel reviews, but for this stay I made sure I left a review on all platforms. The hospitality my family and I received here was unmatched. From sun up to sun down the employees made sure we had everything we needed. Check in process was quick and easy, as well as check out. We enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning, and snacks that Mrs. Margret got for our family to enjoy by the pool. The rooms were clean, and if we needed something front desk was one call away. We were a party of 15+ and each and every employee made sure we were taken care of. You guys are truly awesome and we will definitely be staying again when we return.

Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the cooks went above and beyond to take care of you. If I ever find myself in that area again, I will choose this motel again.

Check in clerk was new and had no idea how to enter my rewards number for points, he was apologetic and said he would get training, that never happened. Room was quiet and clean. Zero pressure in the shower head so if you have long hair getting the soap out will be a problem. We walked down to breakfast and smelled the bacon wafting down the hall. Got to the breakfast area and found no bacon, and no bread or bagels to toast, no pancake machine or waffle machine as we have seen in other Best Westerns. The orange juice machine was not working. The attendant had the tv on with some soap opera that she is obviously a fan of, the volume was way too loud for the small area. Somone came in and asked for bacon and eggs, off she went and cooked them up, she then told that person she would see them at home tonight. Somone else came in and asked for toast and eggs and bacon, she went off and made that. There was no communication or sign to identify that this was an option. I asked for bread to toast when I saw her with the loaf, but she took the loaf away when she put my slices in the toaster, so heaven forbid anyone else might take a slice.

Fast Check in, very clean hotel inside the lobby and the rooms, excellent staff, great breakfast and fast internet. Close to all main road, restaurants and shops. I would always stay there. Highly recommended.

Well worth getting off our route to stay here. We were tired and I was cranky from our motorcycle trip and was ready to settle for the night. Showed up had availability, room was huge, price was great, night's sleep was perfect. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Our shower did not work, we reported it first thing in the morning since we were going to be out all day. We came back to the room over 12 hours later at 10:30 only to find out had not repaired the shower.

This hotel was the filthiest hotel I've ever been in. I would not recommend this place to anyone even at a cheaper price I would not stay there again. the breakfast was minimal, the room was so dirty. the elevator had visible inch of dirt. around the edges of the carpeting was filthy the bathroom didn't even look like it had been cleaned never never never stay at this place

Staff was friendly and helpful. I will refer Best Western to other family and friends. Location was good because there were lots of places to eat Wal-Mart was very convenient, the hotel was also easy to get to. Very pleased!

Great room, the best personally prepared for breakfast, good amenities. The entire staff goes out of their way to make your stay feel like you are in your own hometown. I highly recommend the breakfast as they will cook to order eggs, meat, etc.

This is a very nice and clean hotel. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome. If you're looking for a place to stay in the Demoplois area, this is a good choice. Breakfast is prepared daily and is really tasty. The bed and room is very comfortable.

For the best in southern hospitality, good food, clean and functional room. it's the Best Western in Demopolis, Alabama. Southern comfort and good food is waiting for you. Easy to find on Hwy 80, just West of Hwy 43. I was there to bury my husband and my stay at the Best Western, was one more thing I didn't have to worry about. My stay was great.....returning in January for pleasure.

The facility was great - clean, spacious room, etc. More importantly, the staff was great - from desk clerk answering question and taking reservation to desk clerk at check-in and check-out (happened to be the same one). Everyone encountered was friendly and helpful. Would use again, if needed.

I cannot think of enough positive ways to describe the Best Western Plus Two Rivers Hotel in Demopolis. The hotel property is well-kept and every single one of the team members with whom we had contact was fabulous! We were greeted warmly and our room was virtually spotless when we opened the door. Breakfast was included and the man who cooked for us was friendly and wonderfully attentive. The only thing that I would prefer to see--and I think this is likely a corporate decision, rather than that of the local owner--is larger toiletries (i.e., shampoo and conditioner). Those thimble-sized bottles are not nearly enough for more than one person. I'm glad we travel with our own toiletries so we didn't have to rely on the toy versions provided by Best Western. If you are visiting Demopolis or just passing through and needing a place to rest, the Best Western has my highest recommendation. Onward...

Great staff hospitality and friendliness . Very clean and presentable facilities. The amenities in the rooms and the breakfast choices are great. Fresh breakfast items and fresh to cook items as your choice.

Nice people and very nice accommodations. If you find yourself close to this property and in need of a great place to spend the night with a very good breakfast, this should be your place. I stay at BW whenever I can because they have such comfortable beds and friendly people.

Clean, friendly, great breakfast that is cooked to order, mainly the eggs. I stay here a lot and I can't imagine a better place to stay when i am in Demopolis. From Cordell and Margaret, to Jay, Willie, Felicia and even John, they are awesome.

I enjoyed my stay and the rooms were clean, the front desk staff helped with all of my request. I attended a funeral, so it was a difficult time, but the staff made me feel comfortable and assisted with my needs. They were understanding, and most of all it was nice to sleep in a clean room. Nicely done.

Great hotel for rural area. Quiet and very functional for business. Staff was friendly and nice accommodations. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to this area to book at this hotel and enjoy the accommodations.

The value that you get for your money at this hotel is tremendous. The rooms are spacious and you get a fridge, microwave, sink and counter space. The beds are very comfortable. The best part of your stay is the breakfast. You get to order from a few items and your meal is made fresh.

other than overpriced for the area and amenities (pay much less for a lot more elsewhere), the rooms were clean, front desk at check-in was very friendly and Rebecca in the breakfast lounge made the stay worthwhile.

Close to 30 of us stayed here for 10 days in Aug 2019 and had a wonderful stay! The staff were fantastic and so welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and flexible. Let's be honest- anyone who has the patience to deal with 12 14-15 yr olds and their families for 10 days with a smile and friendly conversation are saints (Carolyn, evening staff!)! We LOVED the hot made-to-order breakfast- the cook was wonderful and bent over backwards to feed us all very well. Very comfy rooms and beds! The 2Q+sofabed with kitchenette and big desk rooms gave the other World Series teams room-envy! So spacious (see attached pic) they held our team through a PlayStation MLB competition. The lobby is also roomy with 2 computers, a massage chair, a wide high-top table for 10 (great for evening poker games or parents working remotely), and roomy couch/ chair lounge area in front of the fountain. LOVED the always-present ice water and lemonade. Be prepared- the pool is small- but if the boys stood fairly still, they all fit. They made it work and had a great time! Close to many restaurants- Sonic and Batter Up restaurants were in walking distance and Canecutters (no dinner) was on the other side of the parking lot. A very sincere THANK YOU Best Western for your hospitality and our wonderful experience at your hotel!

very nice Hotel would stay here again great breakfast comfortable rooms . one thing I did not like was the housekeeper going through your suitcase she did steal about 3 dollars in change so next time Iwill lock my suitcases when I go out for the day

I was worried about staying in small town with only few choices for hotels. This place far exceeded my expectations! It was so comfortable...yes, I would definitely stay here again! The mattress was the best I've ever slept in...everything about this place was well done!

My entire experience with this hotel was excellent. Check in was easy, the room was very pretty and clean, the bed wad so comfortable. It was quiet. Made to order breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend!

We had an awesome stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was awesome. We stayed for two nights and ate breakfast both mornings there. The breakfast was very good and they made omelets for us they were very good and a nice change from the typical hotel eggs. The front desk staff was very helpful and check in was easy.

I was in the area on business and they booked me at the Best Western. The check-in took some time as the person was very slow and thought there was a problem with the reservation from a note left by the office manager. They could have contacted prior to my arrival to ensure there was not an error but did not. I was given an upgraded room that was very spacious though the furniture needs a refresh. There was a very pleasant note from the General Manager providing his personal number for 24-7 contact if there was a problem at the Best Western that was not resolved by the front desk. The breakfast area had an abundance of food and a super friendly lady who gave a personal welcome to each guest entering and willingness to cook up a nice meal if so desired. The only point for consideration is providing some gluten-free options, such as gluten-free oatmeal, bread, muffins, or similar food product.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice and clean. Full breakfast was very good. The location was good. The hotel was set back from from the highway so noise was not a problem. I slept well.

Stayed here on our way back to California. Very nice room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Liked the fact that the view from our room was a grass area that went into a forest area. Having a cooked to order breakfast was a big plus. Everyone was very friendly.

My stay at Best Western Plus Two for 3 days were worry free. The stay at the Rivers Hotel & Suites was great and satisfing, the staff was attentive to the customers, very professional and I would highly recommend it!

This was my second time staying at this hotel and it was another great visit. The staff were friendly and the breakfast to order was fantastic! The room was clean (the queen suite was large) and beds comfortable.

Couldn't ask or expect a more pleasant stay. BW is the Best of the Best. I am on the road several weeks at a time and I am very picky about cleanliness and friendly staff is always a plus. I cant say enough about my experiences at any BW that i have had the pleasure to stay at. Certainly my choice of places to stay.

Booked this hotel just because it was on our travel route. What a wonderful place to stay. The room was huge and very comfortable. The personal, cooked breakfast the next morning was a very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this Best Western location!

The highlight is the cook making you bacon and eggs to order. That was awesome!! He runs the kitchen Tuesday through Thursday. The hotel seemed modern, clean and very comfortable. I wish the internet was a secured network, that was my only complaint. Otherwise, great place for the money.

I was in town for business for 3 days and stayed here. The location is just outside of town and is a short drive to the Wal mart. The staff here was great and my room was decent. My bed was very "used" and felt blown out. I prefer a much firmer mattress. The housekeepers did an excellent job keeping the room clean and supplied with fresh towels. My rom was equipped with a good sized fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. However, they did not have an in room safe. The breakfast in the morning is the highlight! Ms. Felicia will cook you up anything you like to order and they offered an excellent breakfast for free! Mr John also helped keeping my stay comfortable. The location is mot 5 stars, but the staff definitely are! Excellent place to spend the night!

We went with a big group and the speedy service of check in was awesome. The lobby was clean and the breakfast area was clean. The bed slept great and the ac was already on and the room was very clean as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if back in the area will stay there again. Excellent all the way around!!!

This place was great! Our room was large and clean. The pool was nice. The best thing was breakfast. Ms. Nettie made us a veritable feast and took excellent care of us. I must say the coffee is outstanding too!

This is a decent hotel and the room I got was fine. It was nicely appointed, things (mostly) worked and it appeared clean, which to me is the most important thing for any hotel room. There was a small bar area with a microwave and refrigerator. The working desk and chair were comfortable and there were several outlets conveniently placed in the foot of the lamp on the table. There were also several outlets placed conveniently on the bedside table. There were some things that detracted. The hotel is quite popular and the two nights I stayed there the parking lot was completely full such that it was hard to find a parking spot if arriving late. The light in my bathroom (the toilet and shower – the area with the sink is separate) was such that it was almost hard to see what you were doing. Last thing, the wall mounting for the TV may have been treated a bit roughly by a prior guest or it was not designed for the TV it was holding but it was difficult to position the TV conveniently if sitting on the coach, it kept turn the wrong way, but I finally managed to get it turned the right way and stay there. All in all, the hotel is fine as I said, but I think it is a bit too expensive. I paid over $110 per night with tax included. I find that to be a bit much for this hotel but maybe I got a bad deal or I expect too much, you decide.

We stayed here when visiting family in Linden and small college touring. Definitely the best Best Western I've been to. The rooms were big and spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and they had complimentary breakfast made to order. I definitely recommend!

We had Family Reunion at Best Western, Demopolis, AL I was surprise at the location, being from, Tuscaloosa county, but to my surprise it was lovely, the room was clean, large and had a mini frig, ,microwave, sitting area, there was a pool, fit room and safe parking. The staff were wonderful, we had Meet/Greet at the Hotel in the Hospitality Room and it did get kind of loud, but we had a good Reunion, Best Western Demopolis is the place to go. oh yes don't forget the breakfast it 's the bomb.

Very good location,not to far from the highway very clean,nice employee,very nice pool area,,very large parking lots .good viewing area, lots of nice plants and flowers around location.just make you feel right at home

This is definitely a great place to stay. The hotel was very clean and the room as well. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredible, the great and friendly cook made breakfast to order for each one of us. My family and I were very pleased with our stay. There's restaurants very near by and a super Walmart that's very close. All within a four mile radius. Now the ONLY reason I didn't give this place a 5 star rating was because the bathroom tub was a bit ‘moldy' in the corners and there was a yellow substance on the actual bathtub. It looked like urine but it didn't smell like it. I'm not sure what it truly was but it rinsed right off with water. There was an anti slip mat provided so that helped with not putting our feet in the actual tub. But all in all would we choose to stay there again? Absolutely.

This was my first time staying at a Best Western Hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and spacious, very modern decor. The staff was polite and helpful. The free breakfast was great and the Lady who prepared the meal to your order was great.

Very impressed with his hotel. Not much to choose from in Demopolis. So glad we made the decision to stay here. Ms Nettie cooking breakfast was the highlight. She gave us hugs when we left. Front desk was very personable, as well.

We arrived at 1 in the morning after a very long drive. When I say long, I mean 15 hours. We were greeted by the nicest lady. Very friendly staff. Rooms were nice. The beds were soooooo comfy. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was awesome. Shout out to Miss Nettie! Only thing Is, you can tell the hotel was remodeled. Paint was scraped off in areas like outlets and so forth. Overall, best place to stay in demopolis.

We stayed here with 10 kids and 4 adults. The rooms were very spacious with 2 beds and pull out twin bed in a separate sitting area. There was a lady who cooked your breakfast. She was so friendly and provided great service. The only issue we had upon arriving was that the keys would not work to our rooms. It was resolved the next day, though!

I'm a truck driver and my stay here was excellent just needed a better place to park my truck. The staff was extra nice and very helpful. The bed was extra comfy and the decor of the room was nice. The area of the hotel was ok but it was very quiet.

Great services received during my stay. The staff were very friendly and greeted me every time I came in and out. I was very pleased when the owner call to explain the problem I was having with my credit card....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We stayed one night for a short business trip and were not disappointed with the Best Western Plus. We were provided a clean room, comfortable beds, and roomy suite with all necessities. Luxury, not exactly, but Miss Nettie made up for it with her cheerful helpfulness at check in and then following at breakfast. We would be happy to stay here again.

This was our first trip to Alabama. Our grandchildren have resided there. We were very concerned while searching for accommodations. The front desk employees were fabulous and the service staff above all. This was a wonderful choice and we will be back!!

The Best Western Two Rivers Hotel in Demopolis, Alabama, is one of the best of the Best Westerns we have visited. The hosts were friendly and prepared for our pre-registered visit. The room was fresh and immaculate. The exercise equipment was in good working order. And you can't go wrong with Ms. Nettie's cooked-to-order breakfasts!

Dead rat in parking lot, empty beer containers in parking area, hidden debris under bed skirts, spilled liquid in elevator... I found for the price this was a marginally maintained hotel, and the front desk personal not big on taking care of the issues when I brought them to their attention.

This may be the nicest hotel in this price range that I have stayed in a long time. My room was large and recently renovated. Breakfast cooked to order by Ms. Nettie was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at the facility late in the evening and was greeted very warmly by the gentleman at the front desk. He quickly expedited my reservation and I was in the room within 5 minutes. When I entered the room I was astonished at the room layout and the space in the room. I regretted that my family was not with me with all of the extra room available. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was surprised to find that there was a sound machine in my room, which is a must for me when I travel, and I thought this was a great touch since I did not have to dig out my own. The morning breakfast was better than most continental sorts, and the lady taking care of the breakfast was extremely sweet, and more than ready to help any way she could. All employees that I came in contact with were very kind and the management staff were very professional. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

I've travelled to Demopolis many times and stayed other places but this is the best. Everything about this hotel is as it should be. The staff is excellent, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is well lit.

my husband and I love to stay here after going to Alabama football games. Great price for a great stay - and breakfast is always delicious!! There are so many hotels who up the prices during football season and it's wonderful that this hotel does not!! We so appreciate that - and they also give a discount to retired military which is important to us as well.

The hotel is very clean and the staff always makes sure that you have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable too. I would recommend this hotel for families and business travel. It has easy access to the main roads.

This property is highly recommended. Staff very, very helpful. Breakfast is different and very good. For a rural setting, this is an exceptional motel. The rooms, when you walk in, are impressive (we were in 112). The bath is well designed with privacy. Overall, just a fun place to stay.

Nettie added to the overall experience and made breakfast a real treat! Made to order, she served up breakfast with enthusiasm and pride. Our bus was scheduled to leave at 6:00 am and she was ready to provide us with a made to order meal at 5:30 even though the sign said breakfast was available beginning at 6:00 am. THANK YOU!

Room was super spacious, clean, and comfy! We slept extremely well. The beds are very comfortable. My dog was welcome without an additional fee!! And breakfast in the morning was great. Would stay here again.

I almost never give reviews but this place was a surprise. The entire facility was noticeably VERY clean. The staff was super friendly and the bed was like one you would find in a five star hotel. I would not stay anywhere else if I am ever in this area again.

Very dusty, bug under mattress, non working room keys, no cleaning of room, bad customer service with housekeeping, allergies were triggered by all the dust buildup in room. Swelling of knee due to walking back and forth to front desk to room key activated. Trash hanging out of trash can directly in front of hotel door and on the ground surrounding trash can by benches.

The rooms are very modern and clean. The format of the rooms are suite oriented so very comfortable. Best breakfast in town with a great hostess. Plenty of parking and conveniently located, but a little hard to find.

Last year when we stayed in Demopolis we had stayed at another hotel. While in town I just happened to stop by the BW where I met Ms. Nettie. She got to bragging about her breakfast and I stated to her that when we come back in 2017 I was going to stay at the BW. Well this year we stayed at the BW because of Ms Nettie and she fixed us a breakfast that was out of this world!!!! Her Western Omelet should be in the Omelet Hall of Fame. Will definitely be back at the BW in 2018!! Cordaro, the front desk clerk went above an beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. We were able to get an early check in. I liked the listing for the restaurants in the area that was on display at the front desk. I had asked Cordaro for a recommendation on the restaurants. For down home soul food cooking he recommended Kora's Soul Food. I had not eaten food that good since I left my mama's home. Thank you Cordaro for your hospitality and recommendations. Very clean rooms and accommodating staff members. Location is great, right off the highway but without the noise of one. Resturants are close by along with a 24 hour Walmart. I would stay here again and again. Best hotel in town!

We loved our stay in the comfortable nicely decorated room with all the ammenties you could want, including a washer and dryer if needed :) The hotel was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. I would most definately stay in the hotel again.

I was laying in bed watching TV and saw something strange in the ceiling so I take pictures of it. I go down to the front desk and the guy laughs. Oh someone was in there smoking. I go in the morning the new guy was going to give me$30 off my stay but the manager said that was to much and offered me$10. Needless to say I declined. Sending these pictures to corporate

We we extremely happy. Morgan and Margret were so accomadating before we arrived. They were both so gracious. Our rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious, microwave and fridge AND sofa. We we so comfortable. The sweetest lady was in the kitchen. She made us anything we wanted for breakfast. Her omlets were to die for. She was so sweet to the boys and very helpful to the boys. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope Mattie has a wounderful 4th of July Birthday for for 8 children and 18 grandchildren. She Blessed our hearts and know sleep will do the same for you. Love me some Best Western Plus Rivers. Enjoy and tell her Mobile said hello!!!!!

I didn't have high expectations booking a room at the Best Western in Demopolis but after arriving I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was very clean with nice updates and modern decor. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy and I slept very well....probably one of the best nights sleep in a hotel. The free breakfast was very good and quite impressive having a made to order omelette fresh and hot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely would stay here again.

This was a quick one night visit. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and Ms. Nettie offered a variety of omelette choices. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Although all of the rooms were booked, we couldn't hear the neighbors through he walls or door.

It is a new, clean motel with a friendly staff. They have the usual motel breakfast plus a lady that cooks whatever you want. No charge. Also a coffee machine the has several coffee selections including decaf. You can go to breakfast area area anytime and pickup some cereal, fruit or snack. This is the place I will stay the next time I have work in the area!

Demopolis is a small Alabama town located between two rivers in the Black Belt, the historically agricultural area of the state. Few restaurants, no high end hotels, The Best Western was a nice surprise, not elegant, but vey nice, clean and a very accommodating staff

We were in town to attend the West Alabama University Athletic banquet. Everyone thought we would be okay to drive the 3 hours down and back with no problem. However, at the last minute we decided to spend the night. We were told by family that the nicest hotel in town was booked already and the next best thing was the Best Western Plus. The room was nice with 2 Queen beds, sofa, desk, and a flat screen television with cable. I loved the kitchenette that had a refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee and tea choices and even a small sink. The only disappointment was the bathroom. The tub looked rusty or dirty and I just threw the bath mat on top of it. Too tired to go through the trouble of asking for a new room. There was also a half bottle of water in the refrigerator from another guest. I didn't realize this until after the banquet when we stopped by the Walmart up the street (very convenient) and I bought a huge bottle of water for the price of the small ones at the hotel. The next morning we went for the free breakfast. There was a lady who made good omelettes and waffles. However, she needed help cleaning the tables in between guests and stocking the rest of the buffet while she cooked. I would definitely stay there again.

Great southern hospitality. It was a busy weekend in Demopolis with turkey hunting in season, dog field trials at the cattle ranch and Rooster Day downtown, but the staff handled everything for us. We got an early check-in so we could unload items we had stored in the back of our truck. Our room was large and spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Miss Nettie who will prepare a custom breakfast is a real treasure.

I always stay here when traveling back to the area to visit family and almost always have had an okay room experience which was the same on this most recent visit. Bed was comfy and plush; clean. Bathroom clean. Looked like new carpet. Window was very smudgy and there was no hot water in the bathroom. (This was fixed the next morning). Ms. Nettie in the breakfast area, is always so fun to visit with. Treats you like you're sitting at grandma's kitchen table. She'll fix you just about anything for breakfast; quick too. There is a negative on this stay though. As I returned back to the hotel after visiting family, the desk clerk was sitting at the computer in the lounging area with an acquaintance that was on a phone call with the speaker turned on loud enough that I could hear the conversation of the person on the other end and this person was using quite the language. Not very professional to allow that to be taking place in the lobby of such a nice hotel. Made me very uncomfortable. So, with a little extra training of the staff this would be a 4 star experience for me.

We come back every year. Great staff, great room, great prices, and breakfast has southern hospitality with Ms. Mattie!!! There are all kinds of choices for breakfast. They offer flavored coffee creamers.

Large modern room. Excellent King bed. Very Clean. Lobby staff very helpful in finding a good local eating place. we ended up enjoying catfish and cocktails at the Red Barn about 1/2 mile from the Best Western.

This ranks as one of the top ten hotels I've stayed at in my life. The room was spotless, the price was very fair, and the staff made us feel right at home. I will likely stay here the next time I pass through and will gladly recommend it.

This hotel is not all too bad but for it to be a plus hotel it didn't really seem like too much of an upgrade. No matter what you think the definition of a high quality hotel is;this does not match it. However the location of the hotel is an ideal one. So if you are around this part of Alabama staying here might not be so bad. Just remember there are compromises to be made.

The hotel is very neat and clean. The staff is extra friendly. I have stayed there numerous times over the last few years. The lady in the breakfast area was awesome. She would make anything you wanted for breakfast. This is definitely not your typical continental breakfast hotel. They are always great!

This was a pleasant hotel in Demopolis, AL. We stayed one night here. It's located near stores and restaurants. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean, the amenities decent, and breakfast was GREAT. We liked the "fresh" remote and the high beds. However, my elderly mother found it very difficult to get in the bed. Pro for some; cons for others. There was a dead cricket on the floor between the beds. Our toilet tissue holder was literally coming off the wall. This probably is the result of patrons having to reach behind themselves to pull the tissue, which is extremely difficult to do while sitting on the commode. Also, it didn't roll roll freely. Since there is nowhere else to hang the holders, I suggest replacing them with open-end holders. The carpet is frayed where it meets the bathroom tiles. The serenity noise machine did not work. I looked forward to that. The wi-fi worked great. All of these things are minor in the greater scheme of things. Overall, I can say that we had a nice stay at this hotel. I would recommend it to others. As most everyone has commented: Ms. Nettie was extremely helpful and nice. We really enjoyed the breakfast and her southern hospitality.

Spent two nights at this Best Western this past week end. I found the room to be very clean and comfortable offering all the things you could possilbly need. A complimentary breakfast was offered every morning and it was very nice. Considering the cost I found this hotel to be an exceptional value and will certainly stay there the next time I am in the area.

my wife and I stayed here this past Saturday night and were pleasantly surprised. The room was extremely clean and very spaciousness. The staff was very friendly as well. It was a place that that you felt that the employees took pride in their jobs. The breakfast was outstanding.

Stayed here because of the reviews about Miss Nettie. They were not wrong! You have to stay here just to meet her and be encouraged by her uplifting cheerful attitude! She cooks your breakfast to order and fast. They offered scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelets, grits, pancakes, waffles, and more. Disappointed no hash browns on the menu now but when she explained they couldn't get a good product that was no problem. Don't forget to tip her well for her service. Nice quiet clean hotel. In process of remodeling but remodeled room was very modern and clean. My only objection was the pillow top bed which kills my back. Don't know if they have any rooms without those.

Stayed here for a weekend due to business. Hotel is nice and mostly clean. Beds are comfy and soft. King suite had a kitchen area, desk, and love seat. They have HDTV but the channel guide is incorrect. The hotel is non smoking. Internet speeds are decent and the signal is strong. The only knock was I found was a blood sugar needle under the love seat. I realize things like this happen but they need to check under the couches for things like this. All in all this is a nice hotel.

I stayed at this hotel recently. It was clean and had very comfortable beds. They're still remodeling the hotel, but the work that they've completed so far looks great. I would highly recommend it wether it's for a family or business stay. I was also able to do an early check-in when I arrived earlier than expected.

Nice new clean room . Microwave Refrigerator. Love the beds. Friendly staff. Breakfast was a stand out from other hotels on our trip. Ms. E was a delightful person and cooked to our order! Pool clean and inviting but had no time to enjoy it this trip.

Stayed in May 2016 and the hotel was in the middle of remodeling but it still was a great stay. Very clean through out the hotel. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great free breakfast all cooked to order. Would stay again if in Demopolis.

If you are traveling for business or pleasure, I would highly suggest this hotel. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to go to the pool because of the weather but it looks very relaxing.

This hotel was comfortable - new beds, clean (new) carpet and rooms, friendly staff. There's two floors and the second was very quiet, the rooms are very spacious but the pool is small and Windows don't open for fresh air, but would recommend to stay in Demopolis.

Room was perfect and the breakfast and the cook was excellent. Loved the setup of the rooms which was equipped with everything that you needed. They're going through remodeling but it was still a very pleasant stay.

I had a very pleasant stay. Miss Nettie was especially wonderful in her preparation and her presentation of the food. Although the hotel was in the process of renovating, the workers tried their best not to inconvience the guests.

Very nice hotel. Although it is being remodeled at the present this was not a problem with noise, dust, or trash. The hotel staff was the friendliest we have encountered and the breakfast, prepared individually by Mrs. Nettie was wonderful. The only negative (if you could call it that) was that the bed was so tall my rather short wife had trouble "climbing in".

Very roomy, clean, comfortable beds, very nice staff. Doing renovations didn't keep this hotel from making sure their customers had a nice stay. The ball team was well rested and fed with the free continental breakfast. The nice lady made us waffles, omelets, and crispy bacon.

We stayed here while visiting family in Demopolis. The hotel was being renovated but you could not tell there was work going on. The hotel was amazing. Our room was large. It had a nice desk with a comfy chair, a comfortable love seat that I actually wasn't afraid to sit on, a nice kitchenette with lots of cabinet space, along with a microwave and coffee maker. We had a king bed that was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The sheets and the blankets were so soft.... I didn't want to leave the room. The room had great AC that was nice to come into after being out in 90 degree heat. The bathroom was very nice and there was water pressure in the shower YAY! The breakfast was very good. There were lots of options to choose from, cold cereal, yogurt, breads, muffins, eggs including omelets, bacon, sausage grits, the options are many! The hotel has a pool, we did not have a chance to use it but it was small. There was a BBQ grill out there at the pool to have a cookout if you wanted. The staff was super friendly always saying hello and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. I really have to say this is the best hotel Demopolis has to offer!

Stayed here with a group of 10 jet skiers while doing the loop. Very friendly staff. Fresh omelets in the AM. Great manager who treats his employees like family so they treat the guests the same way. Best BW I have ever stayed in. See my review under Red Barn for great place for dinner.

A nice place to stay that allows pets. Was currently being renovated, but was not an issue. I recommend this place to anyone traveling with a pet. The room was clean and no odors. Everything worked properly.

I enjoyed my stay at this best western. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is on the small side, but the pool area was nice with plenty of seating. The curtousy of the staff is great And the breakfast was delicious, with the breakfast area being clean. I have also kept my pet at this motel. Ample are to walk your pet.

Several times a year I go to Demopolis and I have stayed at all of the hotels there. After the first time I stayed at the Best Western, I have not and will not stay anywhere else. From the time you walk in until the time you leave the staff will exceed your every need. They also have the best breakfast you can get that is cooked by the nicest lady. I travel a ton for work and I wish every place I stayed was half as clean and friendly as this place is.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Even though they were remodeling, the staff was very friendly and pleasant and the construction work was not obtrusive. The bed is very comfortable and the in room internet is speedy.

This is a great little hotel in the small town of Demopolis....... the rooms very spacious and very clean.....the two people at the front desk and the breakfast attendant were extremely friendly..... and the breakfast attendant fixed me a Western Omelet upon my request..... I look forward to staying again.....

My co worker and I have never experienced such horrible accommodations and customer service in all of our business traveling. Demopolis, AL doesn't offer much, but I believe we would had experienced better luck at a motel six. I definitely didn't expect this type of poor quality from a name as big as the Best Western PLUS AND SUITES! To begin with, when we called to book the two rooms we booked, a lady answered the phone with a very mono toned dialect and said "Best Western, can I help you". No "Thanks for calling" or excitement/interest in her voice at all. I replied back with "Yes ma'am! We would like to book two rooms for the beginning of next week starting Monday - Friday". Her instant reply was "Sorry I cant help you with that. Another woman will have to do that and she isn't available right now. Can I have your number and call you back when she is available?". Of course I said yes and supplied my number. After that phone experience, and lack of help, we tried around to others. After getting other prices and finally receiving a call back we decided, based on previous experiences with Best Western we decided to overlook the phone conversation and book. We expected the face to face experience to be better. We were wrong! Once arrived to check in the two African American ladies at the front desk we blunt, seemed depressed, and not very welcoming. I could had assumed it was a bad day but they sounded like the two ladies I spoke with over the phone to book. We took it as it was just their personalities. We simply accepted our key cards and reported to our rooms (after I had to ask about wifi, breakfast times, and other details). Once in our room, we unpacked and began to explore the room. It looked nice. However, after further settling in we noticed that the picture on the TV was going out and the HDMI ports would not work as well as the toilet would not flush. We called and reported these issues to the front desk at around 3pm. We were told "sorry our maintenance guy is gone and all i can do is come plunge the toilet for you. Give me until 5pm so that my partner up front can get back from lunch.". I wasnt sure why we had to wait two hours for one team member to become available, so I asked "Ma'am, If we could, would it be possible to switch rooms?" her reply was "We don't have any more doubles, we are fully booked. there are no more rooms available.". This seemed outrages given the fact that there was a total of like 10 cars in the parking lot with a two story building and as we walked to our rooms we seem vacant rooms, but never the less, we agreed and waited. The two African american woman that were at the front earlier and checked us in both made it to our room at about 6pm after having to call at about 5:15pm to remind her of the issue. The fact that both of them came up was very condescending because the entire reasoning of someone not coming before 5pm was because there was only two of them and the front desk could not be left unattended. But oh well, at this rate, I just really needed a working toilet and TV and didn't want to argue. When they came in they were mumbling under their breaths and giggling as they brought in Fabu cleaner and a plunger and worked the toilet for about 15 minutes. They finally got the toilet to flush and was about to leave until we asked about the TV. They looked at the TV, slapped the back of it, wiggled cables, and said "we dont know whats wrong with it but we dont have another. We will see if we can still one from another room". My first thought was WHAT OTHER ROOM??? WE REQUESTED A ROOM CHANGE! They were booked. Were they going to take a TV from another valued customer? We simply, trying to remain respectful said "Okay, Thank you guys" and because we said the word "guys" they stopped as they just turned around after not saying your welcome or anything and walked away with a disgusted face and said "we aint guys. we girls.". I simply said guys meaning plural or more then one. After they said that they shut the door and laughed as if they just put us in our place. After that, we never called or asked for anything else. we felt very uncomfortable staying there. We booked Monday through Friday but worked extra hours to be out by Wednesday. I can only hope we never be stuck with a Best Western again if this is what we have to expect from its staff. Not to mention, when we left, the older, white gentleman at the front desk when we checked out just looked up as we left and watched us walk out and never said thank you for your stay or even good bye. Not one work! He was dressed like management. Our company travels a lot and this information will be passed on. I may even share this on social media and business links through out various clients that we deal with on a daily basis. Thank someone who is reading this, if anyone is reading this, for at least acknowledging the concern. Thanks... Good luck. Sorry for any typos or errors due to my haste.

The Best Western was a great place for a weekend stay. The room was nice with two beds, sofa, frig, microwave, and desk area. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and professional. The rate comes with free made to order breakfast. Miss Nettie made us her special omelets, crispy bacon, and pancakes. For a family of 4, that is a considerable value. Free Wifi and free parking. Also, their vending machines were also inexpensive - 60 cents for most things that other hotels would charge $1 for. I appreciate the hotel not nickeling and diming me for everything like many other hotels. They were renovating the front lobby so it will look fabulous for next time. We will now always stay at this hotel when we go to visit relatives in Linden.

When I arrived, the exterior of this hotel was so plain, then there was remodeling going on in the lobby area but the Manager was so pleasant and helpful as I checked in and the room was wonderful. There was a note in the room stating they did not want to be a "cookie cutter" hotel and it was not. The room was immaculate and full of amenities. The bed was so comfortable and the room so quiet, I overslept and missed the full breakfast they serve!

The Best Western Plus was a great hotel for a weekend stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff there were friendly and professional. Miss Nettie in the dining room made us great breakfast omelets and pancakes. Will definitely stay there every time we come to Demopolis!

As usual, I expect nothing but the best at the Best Western Two Rivers Demopolis Hotel. Once again, I was not disappointed. The rooms are clean and I'm no afraid to go out at night. From check in to check out, I always expect and get the best from all the staff at this hotel.

Not too many options in this town but this hotel was the best rated...rooms have small fridge and micro. Small sofa and work table. Bed is very comfortable, Thanks! Main issues: Room painted a dark color and many scrapes in the green paint needs touched up in every room. Biggest disappointment was the filth around the bed and items that don't get moved. Nightstand has not been moved in YEARS... Manager please take an hour and have your staff do some deep cleaning in the rooms. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We will be back in the area to stay and hope that you can resolve the cleaning issues.

We have family who live in Demopolis, and we visit every year near Christmas and occasionally make additional trips during the year. We always stay at Best Western Plus Two Rivers Hotel & Suites. It truly is the best place in town! We know, because we tried others before landing at BWPTR several years ago. The hotel is always clean, , the rooms quite large, the beds fresh and comfortable, it is usually quiet, and the staff is always friendly and helpful, treating guests like family. They were very kind and helpful a couple of years ago when we lost a grandparent. Our entire extended family stayed there for a couple of days for the funeral. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and gladly allowed us to gather and share pictures and memories in their lobby and breakfast area. Last year, our nephew became ill with the flu early in the morning while staying with grandparents at great grandmother's house during Christmas. We needed to get him out of the house away from elderly family members and babies, so the staff dropped what they were doing, cleaned a recently vacated room and got him right in well before noon. I just made our reservation for this Christmas, and I am already looking forward to breakfast with Miss Nettie! Our kids look forward to seeing her every year. She is as much a part of our family Christmas tradition as watching for the Demopolis Christmas tree on the broadcasting tower to appear on the horizon signaling that we are almost there. Miss Nettie is a good cook and a sweet, hospitable lady who can spin a yarn or two when she has the time. Be sure to try her made to order omelette! If you are looking for clean, comfortable, and hospitable, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

From all the other hotels in the area, I would recommend Best Western Plus for the value and quality of service that we received. The room was very clean, and the bed was extra comfortable. The breakfast was also great.

This hotel is clean and comfortable and the best in town. There is very limited hotels to choose from in Demopolis AL. I usually stay at a Hilton Brand hotel but there are none in this town. I have two criteria for hotels, clean and quite, this one meets those needs.

the staff and the hotel were extremely good. the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was good as well. However, being there for business I absolutely rely on an excellent internet connection. The internet, when it actually connected, was so slow I could not work and had to change hotels well before my original check out date

I cannot speak more highly of Two Rivers Best Western Plus. I would say it was one of the best motels we have ever stayed in - and we have done a lot of road trips across the USA. We arrived at Best Western Plus after a long journey across the Mississippi and were greeted by a friendly young man at reception. He booked us into a suite for a very good rate ($US89 per night), even though it was 9pm and we hadn't made a booking. Highlights included: - Laundry facilities - $1.50 a load - Nettie's breakfast - who treats her guest like they are staying in her own home - Option for breakfast in bed - generous rooms fit for a business executive - excellent free wifi. There is not much to talk about for the town of Demopolis - but if you are looking for a place to rest, I would recommend Two Rivers Best Western Plus. As long time Best Western rewards folks, we booked this hotel for two nights while we were preparing our boat to continue on America's Great Loop. They had no record of our reservation (possibly our mistake, we don't know) and told us the hotel was fully booked anyway for the two nights we wanted. We found another place for the first night, but went online immediately and booked the Best Western for the second night. Apparently they weren't full after all. When we arrived at the hotel, no one was on duty and the carpet was filthy with loose dirt and leaves. We hung around for 5 minutes, then started banging on the counter and outside window (we could hear a tv in the back room). Still no one. After another five minutes, someone came out from the back room, looked surprised to see us (it was 6:30 pm, not the mIddle of the night), and checked us in. We started toward the elevator with our bags, and there was a sign on the elevator that it was not operating. The checkin clerk said, "oh, sorry, I meant to tell you the elevator doesn't work." There was no offer to assist us with our bags. We schlepped up the stairs, got to our room. It was average. Clean, no bath mat unless you call the hand towel draped over the tub a bath mat. Breakfast the next day was abysmal, though there is a sweet lady offering to make waffles and eggs. The "butter" for the toast was a spray margarine. Bacon was paper thin and tasteless, orange juice tasted like a fake orange drink. The rug in the breakfast room was filthy with loose dirt - very unappetizing.

While visiting Demopolis on business, I wanted to try a different hotel. I had trouble opening the door and staff assisted me in openng the door. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was okay, I just grabbed some yogurt and a muffin.

These folks did an outstanding job! Clean rooms, clean facility, great staff! They even offer free breakfast in bed...Pretty awesome. Stayed one night then returned for another. The breakfast lady cooked us a to order breakfast one morning. Fantastic service!

The hotel room was fantastic; beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, nice pillows. The AC unit would not turn off and I ended up unplugging it in the middle of the night because i was so cold. I didn't report it- may have been a simple solution. The fridge and coffee maker were functioning and their tea/coffee selection was awesome. Best hotel I've been in. The breakfast was not very good- old, and stale eggs, not a lot of options. It was my only dislike really.
