Best Western Plus Daphne Inn & Suites

The Best Western is situated among a group of hotels, just off Interstate 10 at Daphne, AL. Our room had a very comfortable king-sized bed, a big TV with a lot of channels, a microwave, fridge, a hairdryer, a hot drinks maker and, of course a shower. The breakfast was also very good. It had a great variety of dishes available, including fruit, cereals, sausages and eggs, fried potatoes, bagels, yogurts and waffles, as well as three different coffees and fruit juice. The Best Western was very competitively priced, compared to those around it, and is a great place to stay.

The rooms are very good sized. There was a love seat and the desk chair was real comfortable. An updated hotel all around. Even found a catfish restaurant close by. With the fridge in the room I was able to keep the leftovers.

Rooms great, bed comfortable, clean, great location, staff pleasant and you are fortunate if Willie is at the front desk! Great attitude, nice presence! Very nice place to stay! Safe atmosphere! Usually quiet!

My “large” family attended Mardi Gras this year in Bama and we had the pleasure of booking over 30 rooms at this hotel! Kudos to the entire staff! They showed us that Bama hospitality and customer service!

Great place to stay. It's a 45 minute drive from Pensacola and a15 minute drive to Mobile. The hotel is close to many highway thoroughfares, malls and eateries. I was surprised so many national brand stores just a stone throw away from the front door of our location. This place does have a outdoor pool, conference rooms and internet too!

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. Nice, modern decor. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was as expected, not great, not bad. Friendly and courteous staff. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in awhile. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Everyone we talked to at this hotel was so nice. I was very impressed. They were sweet and helpful. The room was clean, bed were comfortable and the breakfast was good. They served eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, bagels, ect. We would definitely stay here again.

There was confusion and/or training by the front desk staff, after much discussion among the staff, they gave us a key that didn't work, then a new key to the same room which was already occupied. The third time was an acceptable room.

We had the best ADA room. The roll-in shower was in good working order and the layout was near perfect. Willie, at the Front Desk was efficient and personable. Nice breakfast! Close to good restaurants and shopping mall too!

We had a really nice room. It appeared new paint/carpet had been installed recently. We noticed a few housekeeping issues. It seems to be a hotel epidemic these days, unfortunately. Check in was fast by Gina who was very friendly! There is only one elevator. We never had to wait long to get on. Breakfast is standard hotel fare. Property is VERY quiet.

This location was excellent. The manager on duty (DARLENE) is a great ambassador for BW at this location. The rooms were clean, the breakfast lounge was clean, breakfast choices were plentiful. this BW location is worthy of your itinerary.

Stayed here on the way to Texas and we enjoyed this Hotel so much we Booked a room her for our return trip to SC. Staff was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Slept great and woke up well rested after a long day of driving

Hotel was in just the right location for our Loxley overnight stay on our way from Mobile back Rt 10 towards Florida. Room was fine with comfortable beds and breakfast was also good with hot items as well as fruit and other usual motel offerings. Coffee was good and hot as well.

A great stay. We even used the guest laundry. Highly recommend your hotel. Breakfast was excellent and those wig served ut worked hard to keep ut stocked, get were warm and welcoming, Our son lives there and we told him to recommend this hotel to his out of town guests.

When we arrived, we asked for a couple of extra towels. We were told that there towels in our room - I hope so! Request denied. It was very hot and humid at our destination, so we turned the air down low. After making the pull-out sofa, my daughter requested an extra blanket and was told, "there's one in your room and no more available." The room had a musty odor, but thankfully, we stayed only one night.

Spent once night at this hotel. A terrific stay, friendly people, super clean, and the pool was absolutely amazing. We appreciated not being chased out of the pool the very second it closed. It gave us a few minutes to unwind at the end of a long day. The man at the desk was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was fairly average for a hotel of this time. The lobby smelled of incredibly strong air freshener! I highly recommend this hotel. Would happily stay here again!

Very clean and spacious room. Front desk was very welcoming. Breakfast was okay. There was gravy but no biscuits. They had waffles, cereal, bagels, bread, instant oatmeal, omelet eggs, boiled eggs, sweet rolls, patty sausage and hash browns.

We booked 1 night for stop on the way from Florida to TX to visit our children. Very impressed about this hotel and it's cleanest. Bed was made with white linens, straight and fresh… This hotel will be our stop on the way from now on.

Usually I just get a regular room when traveling, due to budget restraints, but this hotel has suites for just a few dollars more, which was a real treat. My suite was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was better than most in budget hotels, including a selection of hot items in addition to the usual continental breakast items. Enjoyed my stay here very much and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent safe location with a friendly and caring staff! During my stay the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and other family members late checkin due to travel delays from multiple states. Because of Best Western staff geniune concerns over our travel delays we were able to attend a family member funeral without the stress of trying to locate annother hotel at the last minute.

Friendly Front Desk staff and Breakfast staff. Spotless Hotel Room. Nice and comfortable furniture and bed. Really nice Toilet. All at a very fair price. Very nice Hotel, reminds me of the old days when Hotel Rooms were nicer than home.

We passed thru Daphne on our way to Fort Lauderdale from Texas. First time staying at this hotel and very glad that we did. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are decorated very nicely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and they have nice big pillows. The breakfast is one of the best that we have had. The internet was fantastic. Definitely a must stay if you're in the area.

Room was clean and over all entire place looked like it is always kept clean. Breakfast was good and staff offered to help with anything that wasn't to our liking. Internet was fast and easy to connect to, plus tv or cable selection was better than other hotels Ive stayed at.

I needed assistance with a special reservation and called to make sure this hotel could accommodate my request after others said no. Samuel was extremely helpful and went out of his way to work with me. I can't say enough how much this meant to me!

Beautiful hotel and the rooms were very good. Breakfast choices were plain or toasted bread, muffins, oatmeal (just add water), cereal and milk. Basically a continental fare and not a hot breakfast as advertised. Cream cheese but no bagels. No fruits.

The hotel is easy to find and has adequate parking. The room was clean and comfortable and a good bed made for a restful nights sleep. The breakfast was good and the variety reasonable. Best of all, was the very friendly staff; everyone was really quite nice. Overall it was a great experience.

This place was great! The staff was SO friendly! Sam checked us in in the evening and was so nice! I didn't get the gentleman's name that worked in the morning but he was awesome as well! Breakfast was soo good. The gym room was clean and so were the rooms. Very comfortable and welcoming. 12/10 would recommend!

Comfortable bed, great location (we went to USS Alabama), good breakfast, and location of pool was near laundry facilities so made that chore more pleasant. Setting in pool area was nice with palm trees visible and met a nice family too.

This has been a great hotel to stay at . I was a bit iffy on going to this hotel as I stay in others and sometimes they are hard to beat but this one turned it all around and will definitely changed my mind . The rooms are very clean with no problems and the staff is very greeting and great .

We stayed there and it was excellent. Everything the room and the service was great. I was more than I was hoping for. OMG the breakfast was high light of the stay. The breakfast had everything you wish for . I will love to stay there on my next trip.

On our trip from Houston to Miami this was our stopping point. We were checked in quickly and greeted with a friendly face! After being on the road it was a pleasant and fast check in. Parking was on site and convenient. Breakfast was just enough to get us going and check out was just as pleasant!

The room and service was great. The breakfast was awesome, if they didn't have what you wanted already out they would get it for you. I've tried the nearby lodging and this was the best yet. We will definitely stay here again

We always stay at Best Western when we travel & we found this property to be really nice. The facility is modern and squeeky clean, the lobby smells so fresh. The front desk and housekeeping staff were so very friendly and helpful during our 5 night stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were told that housekeeping would come in to clean the room after 3 days; they forgot us but then came the next day as we requested them too. The breakfast offered a couple of hot items and a few other basic items, definitely enough to get your day started. The hotel is near many restaurants and shopping so plenty of choices to suit your taste. Even though it is near many amenities we were not bothered by any noise. We would definitely stay here again and recommend others to do so as well.

From the moment we arrived till the time we left. The staff was excellent in every respect. We had a problem with the TV not working. We contacted the front desk, and they promptly resolved the problem.

This was my third visit to the BW in Daphne, Al. I highly recommend this BW! It is very accessible from I-10, local shops and restaurants, beaches, fun things to do; very clean and modern; rooms were spotless, which is a plus. The gentleman at the front desk is a definite plus to this establishment! Housekeeping was right on top of everything; replenishing towels, wash cloths, coffee in the room and other amenities. I will always stay at this BW when I am in this area and look forward to trying others when I visit other cities.

The hotel is it conveniently located right off interstate 10. It is well kept, the rooms were very nice, clean, the bathroom immaculate. The breakfast was sufficient, typical Best Western. And the staff was friendly. Daphne is not a destination but this is a great hotel to stop at. Price was right too

This hotel was very clean, had a wonderful staff amd rooms were updated and modern. The botel is in a very quiet area so tjere were no loud spunds to disturb us. The i ter etwas a bit weak for watching shows pn ojr laptop but we made it through the pixilation. The bed was super comfortable!

I am struggling to write a good review. We had to change rooms. In our first room the bed had makeup from the earlier guest. Was so clear that I wasn't sure how they didn't see it to clean it. Our second room was okay but surrounded by noisy guests, and the lady at the front desk said she couldn't do anything about it. Overall she was not helpful even when we checked in, although she kept saying she's been working at this hotel for many years. Still, I liked the bed as it was sturdy.

Alicia was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She took care of us and upgraded our room, when the regular Service Dog rooms weren't available, because the previous occupants' dogs had destroyed the rooms.

This was just a stop over on a multi day road trip but I was very pleased with the room and charging outlets offered in the room. Still a long way away from pre-COVID19 breakfast offerings and the BW phone app is always a struggle but this was a great find and I will stay here again.

We were passing by the area and decided to stay the night before continuing. Located near Inter state 10 very convenient. Breakfast was available and our room was clean and quiet just what we needed. We will be back!!

The lobby smelled very nice when entering and appeared clean and modern. The people at the desk were very helpful during check-in and with answering later questions about the room. The room was very clean and seemed large. Very nice experience overall. Keep up the good work and thanks.

We were displaced by Hurricane Ida, and therefore needed a working WiFi for obtaining information, etc.... The WiFi was terrible. So slow in fact, that it frequently timed out on the simplest download. Sadly, because of its location, we only got 1 bar on our mobile phones. The staff was very friendly and location to nearby shopping and restaurants was very good. Breakfast was ok. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Because of the WiFi, I cannot recommend this hotel, since most of us now do much of our business online.

Very happy with the hotel and staff. We came in for my birthday weekend with another couple. The rooms were spacious, The location was ideal to the shopping and dining we were engaging in. Balcony's would have been a nice option, as I like to sit outside and drink my coffee, but besides that we had a great time.

I was looking for a place to stay on our road trip to the east coast, and all of the hotels I normally use were booked solid due to Hurricane Ida. Thank goodness for BW!! I must have gotten the last room available. Whew!! The room was clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the overall stay was great. I would definitely book again.

Friendly helpful staff, good location, updated exterior and interior. Spacious comfortable rooms with plenty of outlets. Clean rooms, grounds and pool. Quality hot breakfast with plenty of choices including gluten free waffles. You can't go wrong here. It is a drive to the beaches, but I saved $260 a night by staying here instead of closer to the beach. That allowed us to splurge on really nice dinners every night at the nearby seafood restaurants. Overall, a very good experience, I would recommend this hotel highly.

This hotel was wonderful! It was clean, with modern decor. Our room was roomy and quiet. The lighting in the bathroom was fantastic! The desk clerks and the breakfast attendant were all very helpful and personable. After numerous "modified" breakfasts at other hotels, it was so nice to have a regular breakfast with so many choices, like omlettes, sausage, waffles, cereal, three kinds of juice, various teas and of course coffee. We had a reservation for one night but happlily stayed a second night. We will certainly stay there again if we are in the area.

This was our fourth stay at this particular hotel and I believe it may be our last. The rooms were fairly clean but not as clean as we would have liked. The towels were like using sand paper and of course you had to be sure and return them immediately even if soaking wet before they would replace it. The breakfast was ice cold daily, no fruit options besides apples, and God forbid you run shirt on coffee... The internet was horrible to try and do any work on, it sucked!!! The only good parts were the price and the distance from the beach.

Every hotel was booked on the way to our softball tournament in Gulf Shores, and I am glad they were, because we looked on-line and found this hotel. I have never been to a Best Western Plus before. Now I've signed up for their reward program. We got a suite which had a huge and comfy king bed with fluffy bedding. A pull out loveseat and all modern touches. I really liked our room. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly. Our family had a very good stay over for the night.

The room was clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was the humidity in the room. The bathroom has no vent so the room was super humid after a shower. The breakfast was fantastic! They out did themselves making it nice.

Stayed one night at this location. The interior smelled as if they were trying to hide something...way too much Febreeze or cleaner of some sort. It was so over-powering.. even in the elevator. The staff was kind, but just an ok visit. Beds were fine, even the sofa bed which was a twin size. Breakfast was cereal, bagels, yogurt, waffles, juice and coffee...the usual. I'm glad it was just a one night stay.

For mobility challenged travelers, this hotel offers a very good option. Large bathroom with a zero entry shower and room for a wheelchair. A lower or tilted mirror in the bathroom would have been nice, but overall this was a very good handicapped room. I would stay here again.

The staff is friendly, the hotel is very clean, and the cost is minimal. The best part of it was how quiet the hotel was. No matter how busy it was there was no loud disruptions and they made us feel great about our stay!!

What a very wonderful property very nice and clean . Located in a wonderful location places to eat and shop near by. Access available only by guest keys on side entrances so very safe a quiet. Lobby very nice and clean also. Pool area also clean and located on the side of the building so no need and asking for a room over the pool. I will be visiting this location again. GOOD JOB BW PLUS

Quick summary: very comfortable, clean room. Friendly, professional staff. Even in COVID times, a very good breakfast. We were passing through the area on a road trip. We have had very good experiences with Best Western properties, and this was no exception. Room #223 has a comfy king bed and sofa area. Lots of pillows, and the comforter was just the right weight - not too heavy or too light (so many hotel comforters these days require you to crank up the AC to be comfortable.) Many amenities that you find at BW properties: in-room coffee maker, iron/board, TV with lots of channels, fridge, microwave. Good work desk and plugs for your electronic devices. Wifi worked well. Tub/shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion toiletries. Bathroom area feels upscale with nice stone countertops and finish work, and room to spread out your own toiletries. Good drawer and closet space. (BW seems to have given up on in-room safes.) Spotless housekeeping throughout - very clean. The staff has good COVID safety practices. Even during COVID, there was a really nice breakfast, with grab-and go -- freshly prepared omlettes, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. As usual, I'd like stronger coffee than typically found at BW, but that's me. The hotel itself feels very new and fresh. I LOVE some of the groovy decor touches -- I would love to take that large bubble light that changes colors in the lobby home and find a place for it. There are also nice design touches in the guest rooms. There is a pool that looked nice and clean, but we did not use it. So - a very good stay - highly recommended.

Very pleased with the young man who checked me in. Friendly and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable with him. No hot breakfast. Had to leave property to eat. I was in contact with 5 or 6 employees and was pleased with all of them. They were friendly. I appreciate a fresh smelling, American environment.

The BW Plus in Daphne exceeded all of our expectations. It is centrally located near dining, shopping and several cities we wanted to visit. The rooms are modern, large and comfortable. We felt like we had never left home.

My wife and I like to travel. In the past, we stayed at Hamptons and Holiday Inns. However both chains have gotten lazy and expensive so we decided to try the Best Western. We have been very happy (especially Best Western +). Best Western's prices, rooms and the cleanliness of their properties is outstanding.

New hotel, well appointed and quiet. Easy to get to/from roadways and near shopping. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Everything was in working order. Would like internet to be a bit stronger as I couldn't stream from my internet services without some buffering,

I've probably stayed at over 50 Best Western locations in the United States and Canada and this location (Daphne, AL) is in the top 3 of my favorites, possibly #1. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. The rooms are always extremely clean, even before the Covid pandemic.

one of the cleanest hotels I have seen in a long time, great service with a smile, and a real good eye for detail, next time I'm in this area I will come back if I can get a room at this hidden gem again.

my son wisdom tooth was removed. The walls are paper-thin people walking the hotel condition stop working. My son was hot and miserable. Breakfast could have been better at least give you yogurt in a cup

the minute we walked in the lobby we were greeted by a smiling desk clerk and a wonderful smell! very clean and pleasant. in fact the whole hotel rooms included had a very pleasant smell. i talked to several employees there in passing and they all seemed to be pleasant and enjoyed working there!

Spent hours listening to people yelling, doors slamming. Called desk clerk who told me he knew. I told him it couldn't continue I - he told me he would look into it. Staff KNEW of problem and allowed it to go on until it actually bothered another guest enough to do something! Wow. Next day I notice a bug is crawling on my phone on the side table, and then same type of bug crawling up me on my under garment! I have no idea what they were and had no bites - just the bugs. As you can imagine I wasn't very happy in the morning. Terrible time trying to sleep and then the bugs making me wonder if they were all my belongings as well. Upon checking out spoke to clerk who said she would immediately tell the manger Mitesh, and he would call me as soon as he got in. Well, fast forward to one week later and I have called the manager over and over. FInally I get a call from the man. No apology and his response is priceless. He tells me he can do nothing but tell a guest to behave and then after that, the hotel is not responsible for the guests behavior. Never mind the other guests on the same hall who paid their same good money for a night of rest -he can't call the police or ask the guests to leave for not following hotel policies or for bothering other guests. Then he says he has no idea what I am talking about when it comes to bugs. They checked and there were none like I must be crazy. Again, no apology, no responsibility taken. Blamed the guest instead of taking appropriate action.

Booked 3 rooms on a tour through the area. On the evening we were at the Best Western Plus, there was all kinds of noise in the first floor hallway where are three rooms were. This went on for a number of hours, banging of doors yelling up and down stomping up and down the hall. I finally got out of my bed and called the desk clerk told me that he had heard it too. Obviously he had done nothing. He said he would at that point. I went back to bed. That's why I wake up and I'm working on business sitting on the bed and walking on my phone are bugs walking on my bra was also a bug or two. These were too small to figure out what they were, but when I finish dressing I went to the desk clerk and in the morning and told her. I asked her for a discount on the room and also to be sure that she told the manager. After we left, I must have called three to five times looking for the manager who never called me back. He finally called me today and told me he could not help what other guess we're doing in the hotel it was not up to him to threaten them and he could not have them leave the hotel when they made noise it disrupted the entire Hall. He also said he had no idea what the bugs were but they found no bugs and so basically told me he was discounting what I said. I am a tour operator. I'm not looking for a freebie, just a nice clean quiet hotel when I bring my guests to visit the area. This is not it. The manager was combative, did not apologize, and basically said that he really could do nothing about the condition of his hotel and that it was too bad if I wasn't really particularly pleased. He would this Catherine 25% but he would not do anything else. Just FYI. You have lots of places to book. This is probably not where you should be looking.

We went to my stepsons wedding. All of the female front desk employees were nice. Also the owner, maintenance man & Reggie were also nice. The aroma was delightful. I work at a Bestwestern Plus in Lake Dallas, Texas so I plan on adding this to our location. The rooms were very nice & very clean. the lobby was beautiful.

Very clean hotel. Employees are kind and considerate. I had to report another guest for having 2 big dogs in his room, but front desk came right down and fixed that. The Covid-19 virus caused the bag breakfast to be undesirable. Over all we had a good stay.

We spent 6 nights here for our summer vacation/ covid getaway. Very nice modern hotel. Easy access to I 10. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. Very nice outdoor pool. Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. The room was large and has a small couch and a large bathroom. Due to covid no maid service and no breakfast. They were giving out a bagged breakfast which wasnt to bad. Just wish could have picked it up until 9am instead of 8 as we are on vacation and liked to sleep in. This hotel is very close to Mobile if your visiting there and about 30 to 45 mins to gulf beaches. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay here again.

So we were traveling from San Antonio back home and stayed here for one night First time we were told that our debit card would be charged $200 and then again for the room at $180. Yet we were told we being charged for smoking in the room. We do not smoke. So beware Hotels like Best Western will not be in our future.

We enjoyed our stay except for two very minor issues. The hallway was being renovated so it was covered with cardboard and looked very bad. The room was great. Also, the pre-packaged breakfast was only served until 8am on a Saturday morning. It would be nice if they provided that a little longer on the weekends.

Rude office worker, complained about giving us towels and breakfast bags. Other than the rude worker everything else was fine. On the first floor it can be very noisy, we stayed close to the stairs so you hear everything.

Friendly and clean. The breakfast choices were plentiful and tasted great. This hotel is close to shopping restaurants and the battleship USS Alabama. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfy.

This is an excellent place to stay if you're in the Mobile-Foley area. We spent Saturday in Mobile, stayed here, and then went to Foley. Daphne has some great stores too! Giant Shoe Station!! And of course, besides the outlets, Foley has Paula Deens restaurant. Staying at this Best Western will not disappoint!!

This hotel is located just outside of Mobile, AL, so it is very convenient to all of Mobile's activities. It is very easy to find and is located right across the street from a shopping mall that has great shops and lots of great restaurants to choose from.

Decent sized room with sofa. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure in shower! Breakfast was a bit better than normal for this tier of hotels. Was somewhat noisy the night we were there which may have been due to the lack of carpet in the hall on our floor during the renovation.

Clean, relaxing rooms. Best of all for us was the Breakfast attendant, who was ever-smiling and in constant motion. She kept everything full and clean. It was like breakfast at Grandma's. Can't think of anything better!

I've had some seriously horrible experiences with hotels... So much so that I actually avoid them at all costs.... This place... Converted me! I loved this hotel and the ppl working there. So kind and hospitable! It was like being at home, but better because they pampered me! And OMG the breakfast was amazing! Hopefully your stay will have the ham and cheese omelettes!!!! Incredible!

Great rooms nice ammenitys, was under renovation during my stay but was not a problem. I though the room was great and the bed was so comfortable. I was traveling and when I stopped I was ready to get into my room and shower and climb in bed. it was quick and easy to get registered and get my room without delay. I was resting comfortable in no time. and check out was fast and I was on my way.

Our stay at the Daphne Best Western was a great one. Clean, great Breakfast, easy on and off the freeway, We enjoyed Chris Lewis at the front desk. He was kind and helpful. Always asked us how our day was going. Darleen at the front desk was also kind and helpful. Thanks to both of them.

Great staff and great rooms. Very happy with them and will continue to stay at Best Westerns on my future travels. Very clean and mordern roons and the staff are the greatest. I will stay again and recomment them very highly!

This place was very nice (it even smelled nice in the hallways and they had music playing quietly which was neat.) Chris at the front desk helped me out with a mistake in my reservations and the lady at breakfast was constantly cleaning and checking the food. It was a very nice, clean, friendly place!

This hotel is so clean and comfortable, I totally recommend this hotel. On a return trip from Florida to Texas we broke the trip up to relax a bit and this is just what we needed. The staff is friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable.

Absolutely had a perfect stay here. Very friendly service, super clean room, no issues at all, and conveniently located!! Did not eat breakfast because we slept in from a late night concert so I can't speak to that. However, I will definitely come back!

If you want a clean, nice hotel, this is a great place to stay. However, the staff are not very friendly, helpful, or welcoming, so it made for a bit of an unpleasant visit. Overall, I would recommend, but not highly.

Everyone there was helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better group of employee's. Look forward to staying here agin when I travel that way. The place was clean. Near to eating places for what every type of food you like. As as everyone knows that travel much I is important to have a Walmart close by for those things you for things you forget that the hotel doesn't have.

This has to be one of the nicest Best Westerns I have ever stayed. Staff was very helpful and knew the great places to eat. will definitely stay here again when I am in this area. Convenient to the interstate and attractions.

Daphne is usually our halfway point when travelling to Florida. We usually stay at the la Quinta across from this hotel but decided to try best western. We were very pleased with the service. The room smelled clean. Looked clean and updated. The breakfast was far better than la quinta. They had so many options. I tried instant grits for the first time and they were actually pretty good! Coffee is stronger than the la quinta hotel. The only bad thing would be the beds. Which may be the deal breaker if you are staying for more than 1 day. We sunk to the center of the bed. The pillows were lumpy and not too comfortable. My neck was aching in the morning. Other than that everything else was great. Always feel safe in the little area.

We were driving all day from Florida and needed a place to stay overnight; Chris at the front desk was not only courteous and friendly, he also helped a great deal when I needed to find a convenient and safe place to park our moving truck and car trailer. I can't recommend this Best Western enough.

Was very clean and welcoming! Had no issues with out stay and the breakfast was great! I had 3 teenagers they where welcomed with no problems and was able to use workout room and pool without me. Plusall the way around!

We were in town for the Softball World Series. It was a great location. Super nice and new. Breakfast area was nice and clean as well. A good variety of food. Would stay here again, if kept in new and clean condition.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff was very helpful. Very convenient location close to lots of restaurant options. Air conditioner cooled and water was hot. Very nice after 6 hours on the road. Will stay here again.

We made a last minute decision to stop and stay during a long road trip. Not only did they accommodate us but they were super nice in the process. Absolutely great service and I highly recommend them!

was kind of disappointed with the layout of room. had our two quen beds and the couch which pulled and we used for our grandson. the disfunctional part once you do that you cannot use the desk and the chair has to be moved. think it needed to have been set up differently when done. so it was hard to get anything done on my computer. we left early so cannot say anything about the breakfast but imagine it is the normal fair like most places. Other than that I guess the rooms were as expected.

We were greeted at check-in by Chris at the front desk. Chris was extremely helpful & efficient. We stayed 3 nights and saw Chris every day while he smiled and offered friendly banter, asking if there was anything he could do to make our stay better. When entering the hotel, the lobby catches your eye. It has a modernistic decor with high back chairs, a sofa and very large TV - very inviting. Going to our room, I noticed music piped into the corridors inviting one to sing along. The room is large with vestibule entry. The king bed had a night stand each siide and the other furniture iicluded a wrting desk & chair, sofa and bureau for clothing. The bath is the typical tub/shower combo. Breakfast included a large selection including biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, etc. However, there are only 9 tables - not enough when the hotel is full. Laundry facilities are available and both the washer and dryer worked very well ($2 each). Parking could be an issue when the hotel is at high capacity. But, there are 3 spaces reserved for elite members and we took advantage of that amenity. I have stayed in about 100 different Best Westerns throughout the US and never saw this elite reserved parking before. The hotel is in a good location with easy access to the interstate and other destinations such as restaurants, shopping, etc. Along wiwth Chris, the entire staff we encountered was personable, cheerful and helpful. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, wouldn't couldn't have asked for any better service than we received. The staff members were extremely awesome. The hotel was very clean and so was the pool.

The hotel was "nice" but nothing was excellent. I found no fault with anything and the price was reasonable but overall rather bland. The decor was inviting but again nothing of great note. An experience and property that is easy to forget.

Stayed one night on our way to the gulf coast. I'm very picky and it met my standards! Very nice girl when I called from the road at 9 pm, and she was equally as nice when we checked in. She gave us a room on the third floor (326) and it was very quiet! We all slept great. Our room was very clean! Can't praise the cleaning staff enough...as we were packing up the car a staff member came running out with our laptop that we had left in the room! Wow! The breakfast was huge! Everything you could ask for! Definitely book with confidence!

This is a great hotel. Location is good. Beds and accommodations were awesome. Breakfast was the normal breakfast but hot and very clean area. Staff was very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean, friendly staff. But the bed pillows were ridiculous. The pool was somewhat clean, but relaxing. The location was accessible to restaurants and shopping. I expected more from the BW Plus chain.

Checked into hotel late on Friday, 4/26, and went to bed. The next morning I got up and there was more lighting in the room. All over the floor by the bed were toenail clippings, not mine. After breakfast I told the girl at the front desk, she said she would take care of it. Later that night we came back to our room and the toenail clippings were still there. A housekeeper named Shirley "cleaned" our room.

If you are planning on using the sofa bed to sleep on, don't bother booking this hotel. I honestly can't believe a corporation like BW would allow this sort of incompetence with furniture in complete disrepair.

Wonderful hotel. Easy to access from freeway. Comfortable rooms and fabulous breakfast. Newly renovated and clean. Lose to lots of food places and shopping. Go to eat at historic downtown. They have an outdoor pool but no hot tub. Got to use by free nite voucher!

Hotel & breakfast were very nice but the check In was a hassle and the morning manager said the problem with the check In was a management policy. It had to do with using my AAA card which AAA “pushes” Best Western.

Charged for a room I did not stay in. Made several cancelation attempts and still was charged. Customer service is really bad was not helpful. Booking .com was horrible as well. I was told to dispute the charge on my credit card. Bad service should not be paid especially when doubling the prices.

Nice clean place, needs much more parking,and new couches in the room. Staff is very nice and helpful , breakfast is very good and plenty of it, it's in a tight location , and seemed to have a lot of trucks in the parking lot, The beds were comfortable and the price was reasonable.

The hotel had great service and had really comfortable beds. The front desk manager was very helpful with the reservations since they were changed last minute. We got there at 10 pm as a late check in an everyone was very helpful.

First off I would like to state, I despise the wretched state of Alabama. In my experience the people are very prude, disrespectful and hesitant to show a shred of respect to outsiders. I've been to this state on several business ventures; each time equally dis-pleasurable if not worse than the last. Now never mind that, it is beside the point. What I'm really writing my review for is for this specific hotel. If you ever do get stranded in this forsaken region, the would the best option for safe haven and decent people would be Best Western Plus Daphne Inn & Suites. The customer service was awesome, they were respectful and ready to help. Not to mention, they had comfy beds, functioning AC, clean water, decent decor, and plenty more to offer. Lastly, the most important part of this review, is the wonderful employee Chris, he was a pleasant host. I stake this claim for many reasons. His customer service was on point. A very cool respectable guy. Ready to help and very friendly. A welcome change from what I've experienced elsewhere in this state. I hope management knows this guy's worth, cause I know it when I see it. You helped make my experience here great. My tv wouldn't get signal and the front desk had me do two things to fix it. Had to unplug receiver everytime to change channels. Bed was awful. Sunk very badly in the middle. Desk chair broken (wouldn't raise up leaning sideways). Couch needed thrown in the dump. I realize they're renovating but you'd think they would condemn a room like I stayed in. Go somewhere else.

overall, good stay; hotel still under renovation; room was nice size with a room bath; furniture coffee table and entertainment center a litter worn but may be replace with the renovation. I'm a veteran and reservation included an upgrade to a suite. At check in I didn't received the suite. I was told that all the rooms are considered suites; if accurate this is very misleading and shame on Best Western Inn and SUITES: I wasn't offer any amenity for the mistake. My reservation was made online. The breakfast menu offered variety and was good. I stayed 4 nights over the Christmas Holiday and the stay was good. Hooray for the management for allowing the housekeeping department off the enjoy Christmas with their families. Also, sleeper sofa is worn and need replacing.

I stayed here one night on the way to New Orleans. It was quiet and I got a good nights rest. The Continental Breakfast was good and it was close to Mobile, Alabama. I went to Church on Sunday morning at The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile that Sunday morning and found out the parish had existed since 1702. The area had a lot of history and the Church was only about 15 minutes from my lodging. Much more history in the area I did not see since it was rainny when I was there.

We have stayed at this Best Western property previously. They are in the midst of a major remodel right now, lots of new tiling and mirrors, etc stacked neatly in the lobby but no messes or noise, etc. And I have to mention the awesome comfortable beds!!! Wow!!This is a nice place in a great location for us for when we come this way.

Overall it was a nice hotel, shopping oulet were very convenient right across the street. Nice breakfast, we have stayed there before, very clean and nice fresh scent. I'll most likely come back when its a little warmer so I can enjoy the outside.

Clerk lackadaisical, does bare minimum, refused to make fresh coffee "because no one else will want any". Really? Lots of people still drink coffee in the afternoon. Hotel is under renovation, dont remember seeing that mentioned on the reservation website. Breakfast skimpy compared to other PLUS properties. It's not a bad hotel, but there are better choices.

This hotel is located off of I-10 East outside of Mobile. It is easy off and on. It has a great breakfast menu. The price is really great and it offers Express checkout. Many restaurants are available in the area.

Great efforts are being made to upgrade this hotel. More importantly, the staff is making every effort to ensure that the upgrades do not affect your stay. There has been some really good improvements in the staff. They are very attentive to the Guests and the needs. Breakfast was always staffed and hot. The refurbished rooms are really nice.

Overall the hotel itself is not that bad, but a few things just didn't settle right with my family and I. We checked in and overall everything about our room was nice, we liked the amenities and cleanliness of the room along with a note from room-keeper welcoming us to the hotel. However, the next day we headed out for some fun but came back to an unclean room. The room-keepers had in fact been in our room because we had fresh towels, but the trash wasn't disposed of and our already partially made beds (we had half made that morning) were not made usually as they are in most hotels. We may be back in the future, but we're extremely dissatisfied with the service provided this trip.

The bed was comfortable. The pillow were a little weird. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast Buffett did the job and the coffee was good. The place is across the street from a shopping center which was convenient for dinner but our room did have some light pollution. We didn't think to ask for a room on the opposite side.

This hotel is in a great location off I-10 just east of Mobile.As far as food, there's a Mc Donald's at the end of the driveway, a shopping center with a movie theater,eateries from fast food to up scale sit down, and a grocery store(Publix) across the road,(AL 181). For example if I-10 is shut down US-90 parallels to the south and US-31 to the north. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a renovation in progress starting at the 2nd (of 3) floors. The staff is helpful and super friendly. The breakfast is as good as any hotel in its price range. Yeah I'll be back.

this is a great hotel!! we were very happy with the room size and all that was available to use!! we would have loved to stay longer, but it was the end of our trip and we were heading home to Oklahoma!!

Stayed at this facility many times, the rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is ready early. The location is in a great area, close to shopping and great restaurants.

WOW! That is what I will say to describe this property. And that is a WOW in a good way. We were in transit from FL to OK and needed to stop for the night. I jumped on the app to find a place near where we were on the highway and blindly picked this one. Man did I pick good! First thing I noticed when we got off the highway was that we were near everything. Shopping, food, gas, all plentiful. The hotel is right off the highway but not so close you get the noise from it. The property is well lit at night and very clean inside/out. The lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. They were undergoing renovations which I didn't recall seeing on the app BUT she was great to make sure we were put at the opposite end of the hotel. We never heard a thing. The room was super clean. The breakfast the next day was hot and fresh and it was even open earlier than the posted time. I did notice there were several construction type people there eating so maybe they opened it early for them I am not sure BUT even if so, that was a very nice gesture. By the way, the last few stays I've had, no one has acknowledged my Diamond Select status but this place did. I know that doesn't seem to be a big deal to harp on and normally it isn't, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise to be recognized for my choice to continually stay with BW. I worked some from the room and the wifi signal was strong and steady. Water pressure was great also. Bed was comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel previously on our way to beach. Rooms are spacious & clean. Staff very friendly. Even with renovations in progress, the premises were clean. Bed was comfortable, temp was good. Excellent value.

The room was clean but because it has a sofa does not make it a suite. The When you sat on the sofa it took you down to within 12 inches from the floor. The cushion went inside the frame and you went to the floor or you sat on an upright board that kept you from going to the floor. I had to have help to get up. I had booked two rooms and both room had sofa's that were in the same condition.

This hotel is by far one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in; From the staff, so helpful & polite, Housekeeping working on getting your room right, Breakfast out, hot & a lot of times early, We're coming back to stay again & having to be away from home.... B/W makes it a lot easier to handle !

Kudos to smiling Chris at the front desk :-) Quick, efficient & welcoming, he even offered to help me bring in my overloaded luggage cart as I dragged in after a very long 988 mile day (Wildwood to Miami to Daphne.) Normally I would have stopped much sooner, but having stayed here previously I decided to press on and was so glad I did because the property was every bit as nice as I remembered. I especially appreciated the covered canopy and automatic front doors which enabled me to bring my things in without getting drenched in the pouring rain. No worries about navigating stairs if you have mobility issues because they have an elevator in the lobby. Room #321 was lovely, although there was an odd dank odor which, happily, quickly dissipated with a little squirt of my handy dandy travel size Ozium. Large flat screen TV with lots of channels. Mini fridge & microwave. Sofa bed & coffee table. Free, fast wifi with lots of signal strength. THANK YOU for the easily accessible outlets w/USB ports for charging electronics on the bedside night stands. Anyone who has ever had to pull hotel furniture away from the wall in their hunt for an outlet knows how nice it is to not have to do that !!! Plenty of HOT water. Noticed a touch of reddish mold or mineral deposit on the shower head but other than that the bathroom was quite clean with nice tile flooring and ample granite counter space. Generous supply of bright white towels. Slept well on super comfortable king size bed with triple sheets and four fat, fluffy pillows. Great room at a great price!

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Daphne we were attending the blue star salute event and it was very convenient to the battleship complimentary breakfast was that standing with a varied menu each day

Just stayed in Crawfordville at a Best Western and was less than pleased so this stop was welcomed. Reception was inviting and receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Registration was quick! Hallways were clean, second floor had an odd odor not bad really just odd. But room was large and clean. Beds comfortable and linens of good quality. Manager was very accommodating. It started to storm and rained heavily. Our window started to leak. Called front desk and manager was at door in minutes. Problem taken care of promptly. Pool area was nice, pool clean and had rainbow colored lights and a blow up duck for kids. Pool towels at pool and receptionist actually gave towels as we walked by and spoke with children. Breakfast was nice. Canadian bacon a nice treat. Everything was fresh and well displayed. Coffee was good. Breakfast attendant helpful and pleasant. Great job and good customer service.

We've been on a long 12 day vacation and this was absolutely the best hotel of all our stays. The room was clean. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was the best! The price was right. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed five nights in this BW hotel just off north of I -10,exit 38.Room was big,very quiet overlooking the back gardens .Pool is open at all times, which was highly appreciated for early laps .Charcoal BBQ available near the pool . Housekeeping staff very friendly and efficient.Full free breakfast,including hot plates such as waffles pancakes and one morning, delicious scrambled eggs mixed w/ tomatoes and peppers ,a little bit like huevos rancheros . For groceries,there is a Publix supermarket nearby ,and a fridge and a microwave in the room . This hotel was an ideal hub for our Mobile bay area visit .

We stayed at BW for 4 nights. Our room was clean upon arrival. We left every morning around 8 and got back to our room each night at 9pm. Basically all that was done to our room each day was carelessly make our beds and replace our towels. They did not replenish any toiletry items or vacuum the floors. The last night was the worst. We got back to our room around 9pm. We were on the 3rd floor. The door to the laundry shoot was left open. Our room had not been touched. We went to the front desk & was told it was because we had the Do Not Disturb sign out. Which we Did Not. We never used the sign the 4 nights we were there. We will not ever go back to BW in Daphne & would not recommend it. It's sad that a person does not have enough pride in what they are doing to make sure the job is done right. Your room should be cleaned and stocked just like the first day you arrived it doesn't matter the length of your stay. Pay the extra $ and go somewhere else, there are plenty other places to stay in that area.

friendly, helpful staff..lovely clean good sized rooms...the free breakfast is an added bonus....There is a shopping centre and restaurants just across the hwy...We had dinner at ruby Tuesday, it was reasonably priced and tasty..staff were very friendly as well.

Everything was great. Easy off and on freeway. WiFi really fast. Lots of choices for coffee. Comfortable seating area away from breakfast room to enjoy our first cup of coffee in the morning. This location had a special system in lobby that gave off a very pleasant aroma.

One of the best motels I've stayed in in quite awhile. I will be staying in this motel during my next trip! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends traveling in this direction! The breakfast alone was wonderful.

Exterior of the hotel very clean..parking lot well lite,pool area very clean with nice furnishings..hotel manager very accommodating..had a bit of a problem with a gentleman at front desk ..informed him i would be staying an other night he stated he have to reswipe my credit card for incidentals I informed him I've been here 3 days and you only have to this once..he stated this is hotel policy..I stated would wait for the mng.to book my room..I could see he wasn't happy with me...so waited for the mng.she booked me in for an another day...and didn't even ask for my credit card no problem..my room was clean..I thought the bedding was very dingy looking ...needed bleached Hotel room i feel the decor needs a lot of help...couch was broke needs repaired or replaced ..the one TV near the couch . It was mounted in the corner and way it was mounted you could not watch it...crazy...all in all my stay was nothing to write home about..

Was passing through to reach fl. I decided to stay here for the night. Best move i made. Stayed at a best western before ( several years ago). I was very happy then and just as happy during this stay. It looks as if the hotel was recently remodeled very clean and fresh decor. If your in the area this is the best bang for your buck!

What a great worker I want to acknowledge Chris he is one of if not the best at his job his customer service skills and his ability to resolve any situation with a quickness he is extremely helpful and he will know your name and greet you! This hotel is a great place to stay but the 5 star rating is because of the passion Chris puts into his job and the staff here have all been nice but Chris goes above and beyond!

This hotel and staff were truly outstanding at a very reasonable price. The hotel is located in close proximity to Cracker Barrel, Logan's Roadhouse, Ruby Tuesday and California Dreaming restaurants with other shopping nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Overall the room was clean and the breakfast was adequate. We were in room 126. The office chair at the desk was broken, it could not be adjusted up, so it was like sitting on the floor. The internet was very, very slow. The connection was somewhat better in the lobby, but who wants to sit in the lobby to check their email? I was traveling through and needed to leave, so I did not have time to report these issues to the front desk. I can't say whether or not they would be addressed in a timely manner.

Hotel location was right off the freeway and the Hotel clerk Chris helped us find the best room rates since we didn't have a reservation due to traveling home from Miami. The hotel and room was very clean, breakfast was pretty good and the staff was very friendly.

LONG day on the road ~ but I wanted to beat weather & traffic so opted to drive through the night. Thank you TripAdvisor for helping me to choose this lovely property. Arrived in the wee hours and Irma at front desk had everythign ready so all I had to do was sign in and head for my room. Lots of fat, fluffy pillows and I melted into some of the best sleep ever !!! Fridge/micro and flat screen TV with lots of channels. Free wifi with great signal. Didn't partake of breakfast but appreciated the "To Go" brown bag Matt offered me at check out. Looking forward to staying here again :-)

This hotel is across the street from several restaurants and a large shopping center. It is just east of Mobile and reasonably priced. It is tucked off the roadway, behind a bank. Nice room, however our room had not been occupied for over a week, thus the thermostat was set for A/C. The room was 59* when we entered. Fortunately, we had not had dinner, so we switched it to heat, at 70* and left. When we got back it was fine.

Rooms very clean and stocked with the needed amenities. Breakfast area items fresh and well attended by staff. Employees here really like their jobs and show it through their greetings, smiles and attitudes. I think that speaks well of the management on down. Hotel is far enough off I-10 and Hwy 181 that noise is not an issue. Well taken care of property. Strip Mall across from hotel with restaurants and many stores. We enjoy Wintzell's Oyster House located there. We stay here on our way down to Santa Rosa Beach and have never had an issue with this property. You just won't do better in this price range, IMHO.

Stayed here with our family of 5 in a suite with pull out sofa bed and 2 queens. The beds were very comfortable, the sofa bed was typical and adequate, the size of the room was sufficient, and breakfast was great. Would stay here again!

As someone under 21, this was pretty much the only place that would let me stay in this area. I was driving from Florida to Texas, and it was nice to have somewhere that would let me in and not be shady and disgusting. Here, I felt safe and I was not treated like a hooligan who was going to trash the room. Everyone was super friendly, and the entire hotel was spotless.I even stayed in this same place on my way back to Florida.

A nice best western, clean and nicely decorated. A little bit off the road, and in between and behind two other hotels, but nice and quiet. The food was prepared well and tasty. The staff was very polite.

Great overnight stop while traveling through Alabama, close to the freeway and within walking distance to several restaurants. Staff was great. Breakfast was fairly standard but definitely filled me up.

I think all plus locations should look this way. The lights and cleanliness outside make it that more appealing. The staff that night was Chris. He was very helpful and asked if I was satisfied with everything and made sure I was taken care of.

How nice to be greeted with a warm friendly smile and pleasant conversation. Just like coming home! Great hotel as per the standard at all Best Western hotels! Everything was just perfect! Quiet and comfy and big bountiful breakfast in the morning. So perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice, excellent choice of breakfast foods, room was very clean, nice and quiet, enjoyable stay! Tv schedule was handy, front desk very helpful with choices for dinner, all in all a good choice, will definitely stay here again when in the area!

We were in town for a high school football game. This location was very close to the stadium and plenty of places to eat and shop. It is on a main road but the location is quiet. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. There was a full breakfast with lots of choices. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here when we are in the area.

This hotel was very reasonable, with the same amenities of higher priced hotels. Room was clean, hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very nice. Easy in and out. It was right on our way. Plenty of parking.

Spent 5 days here it was really good. The staff is helpful and very nice. This hotel is close to shopping and many eating establishments. Have stayed here many times before and would recommend it to all travelers. Close to the highway. It is very quiet every though close.

Excellent place to stay. This was our first Best Western Plus experience and I have to say it was amazing. I have never slept so well in a motel bed. And the breakfast every morning was off the charts. I have never had a hot complementary breakfast like that in a motel before..

The 3rd floor smelled like body odor, the room was dirty, the carpets stained, the t v did not work and the air conditioner did not work. The front desk said they would make a note of it. That was my first time at a Best Western and it will be my last.

The hotel is nestled just east of Mobile in Daphne, Alabama. Near shopping, great eateries and is a perfect place for business or pleasure. Recommend this location if traveling through South Alabama. The front desk always offered a smile and when needing some assistance, were there to help in anyway. Cannot say enough about this location.

Very convenient location, friendly folks, clean, and a great value! It was really close to good restaurants and shopping. Just off the Interstate. The free breakfast was really nice and saved us at least $25. Will definitely stay here again!

Best Western continues to be a reliable place to make camp for a night. We stopped here on our motorcycle trip coming out of New Orleans so we could get out of the impending rain. Nice place, clean and well managed. If I had a concern/recommendation, it would be to create a place you could sit outside. We like to sit outside and talk while we have an after dinner cigar and bourbon. Solid place though.

My husband and I were on our way to Florida. This was a stopping point along the way. We got in around 11pm. We were greeted with a smile and checked in promptly. We enjoyed breakfast before heading out the next morning.

This hotel was a very nice hotel especially for a reasonable rate. Very clean, friendly employees, good breakfast, and decent pool outdoor. We enjoyed it only downfall no parking for a big rig. So we had to drop trailer 30 minutes away and park truck up hill from hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at hotel...wonderful place to stay, convenient to interstate, shopping and restaurants. It is also close to a wonderful little town called Fairhope...a gem of a place to visit for wonderful little shops and restaurants.

Each September, we travel to Mobile for our anniversary. We have found that we have stayed at the Daphne Best Western for the last four years. Our reasons are staff, value, quality, fresh breakfast choices, and location.

Very clean and spacious, with reasonably priced rooms. Hot breakfast was very tasty and more to choose from than most hotels we have stayed at. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

we left the area to avoid hurricane Irma and ended up at the BW. Usually not a pet friendly hotel, but they made exceptions due to the weather. we had our two cats with us. Our experience was very nice and we would certainly stay there again when in the area.

Good continental breakfast with standard options, good pool, decent work out room. Extremely convenient to a myriad of restaurants , shopping. Bowling, movies, gasoline. What a friendly town also. Grocery store also nearby

A quaint stopover on our way to Sarasota FL. The Room was neat and comfortable the bathroom had plenty of hot water and linen. The was staff most helpful in finding a seafood restaurant not to far from the motel. The breakfast was just what we needed to get up & on the road.

Wrong city but great service. Canceled original reservations due to hurricane but when weather cleared Chris went out of his way to get us back in a room for a little get away.His rebooking actually ended up being cheaper !

The hotel sits back off a lane and gives the impression of being a stately country mansion.Overall there is an opulent feeling of "class" even down to the decor and carpeting along the corridors. Quite simply it's very nice and we had a most enjoyable overnight stay, a good night's rest and a tasty breakfast included.. Reasonably priced too (for a BW Plus).

The Best Western Plus is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel offers many great features. I enjoyed the space and comfort of my room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping could have been better in the lobby restroom. Breakfast was excellent. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would like to stay at another Best Western Plus in the future.

Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very close to shopping and dining. Room décor seems to be dated. Some stains in the carpet. I believe more detail could be given to the cleaning of the rooms. Shower floor seemed a bit unstable. Overall, not a bad stay but it could be better.

The hotel was clean and had a very nice breakfast with a lot of choices. Comfortable, clean room in a nice, quiet area. The employee at the front desk was very friendly when we checked in, even though he was the only on at the desk and was swamped. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Hotel was in a quiet area, with restaurants nearby, only about 15 min from USS Alabama. The room was nice, beds comfortable and the breakfast very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definately consider staying here again if in the area.

Eric was extremely helpful both each time we stayed at this facility. He presented an amazing array of food for breakfast each of the mornings we were departing. He kept the food coming so everyone would have what he or she needed. Eric and Chris were very helpful while making our reservations. We used our AARP discount each time and received an appreciated discount on both stays. The rooms were very clean, bed was great, loved the sofa in the room (which we used to relax after our long drive) towels were thick and looked new! We were quite pleased the first time we stopped at this facility so we decided that on the return trip. We knew that we did not want to take a chance with the other hotels in the area because this one left such an amazing impression the first time. We now have this Best Western Plus saved in our phone so when we come this way again we will be staying here again. Our thanks to all for doing such an amazing job!

Pretty nice hotel. Staff is very friendly. Beds weren't the most comfortable but better than most. Very clean, safe area. Loved the view. Breakfast was our only issue. The ants were taking over but the did take down the food and clean up the area. Coffee was awesome!

We deicided to spend a day at the beach. We did not want to spend a whole day driving so we found a reasonably priced hotel and was very pleased. We will stay here again. It was clean, and the staff was great.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and convenient. We were passing through and wanted something economical and close to the interstate. I felt safe and slept soundly. Once we closed our doors, it was silent in the room and I got a perfect night's sleep.

It was nice place to stay and close to several restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. It had breakfast. We didn't not eat but it looked good. We were glad that the location was so good. We would stay there again.

In town all week for young girls softball tournament. Immediately, Chris Lewis made us feel right at home and set the tone of our entire stay. From there, the entire staff continued the excellent hospitality, constantly checking on us to make sure our needs were attended to and we were satisfied with our stay and accommodations. It was one of the best experiences we have ever experienced.

The room was very nice. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was horrible. Couldn't even tell if anyone had cleaned my room. I left a white linen jacket in my room, and called later that night to see if they had retrieved it. Someone had already claimed it for themselves. Oh well, not everyone is an honest Abe.

I planned a family reunion 6 months in advance upon arrival we were told the rooms would be ready between 1-3. When we went back at 3 we were told the rooms were not ready!!! That it would be an hour!

Overall stay was great!! Polite staff and clean inside and outside!! My husband and kids had a great time in the pool!! I would recommend Best Western Hotel & Resorts to anyone looking for a great environment and a great price!!

This hotel is located in a very good area, plenty of shopping and restaurants around this location. Also the price was great and had good amenities. The room wasn't too clean, but all we have to do is report the issue to the lobby and they gave us another room.

It's a pretty hotel & the beds are very comfortable. Ordered from a place called Tuesday something & it was really good. Lots of good restaurants in the area. The room was pretty clean. I would stay here again, but would probably get breakfast elsewhere.

Check out was a problem since no one would stay at the desk. The guy was on his phone and away from his desk or outside lobby SMOKING. When I reported the dirty air conditioner the man told me that they are due for a cleaning since they only get cleaned every 3 months. I told him a quick wipe down would make it a lot better and he said they do that every 3 months when they clean them. The air conditioner vents in hallways were also dirty and had mold like growth. Check in was good and room was clean (except AC).

Although it was not the least expensive hotel in the area, the room was exceptional and comfortable. Check in was quick and the area was very quiet. We did not try the breakfast but it looked good and the eating area was spacious.

We stayed here 3 nights. The hotel is very nice and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Location is very easy to find. My only "cons" are: Staff could be more courteous (except for the young lady who was working on Thur when we checked in...she was fantastic), the hallway had an odor...not sure what it was, but it was always there. Breakfast is typical or maybe a bit above for that style (Hot food).

We stopped on our way to the beach to break up our family trip. I know we were not expecting a 4 star hotel but since this was a best western "plus" we thought there would be a little more care in the rooms. The hotel was non- smoking but the room smelled horribly of smoke, the toilet ran loudly and the handle would come off if you moved it too much. The mattress to the sofa sleeper, the springs were broken and busting through the covers. I hope that this does not represent the best western brand throughout as my husband travels and does use this hotel.

I stayed at this location for a conference for a week that I attended in Mobile , please allow me to list my concerns below. ---- carpet dirty, smell in room, housekeeping not professional AT ALL , manager needs to attend customer services classes he was terrible he defends employee before hearing customer concern, had to empty my own trash! The process for cleaning the room is different from every hotel I have ever stayed ! They come pick up towels and never bring them Back you eventually have to call for the towels because you can't take a bath, the room was cleaned maybe twice since being there for a week! I would not recommend this place to a dog or cat ! I have never been so humiliated in my life ! No one is professional at this hotel! Everyone needs to be fired ! I just happened to catch the manager as I was leaving on the last day and he didn't even try to call that morning or anything . Also one day while housekeeping we're doing whatever they do they we're playing music on cells phones that was very inappropriate and talking loud in the hall ! They also lied and said we had a DO not disturb on our door they lied. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ........

I stayed in this hotel with my family for a a couple of nights. I really, really, really enjoyed Daphne as a city. The hotel however can really be a top notch hotel if they got their cleaning crew in line. When I checked in, the front desk guy just let me stand there while he was on the phone and when he got off, he waited another minute and then acknowledged my presence. The room was not ready because the cleaning crew had not cleaned it and it was well after check-out time. But judging, I shant do because maybe they were short handed. The breakfast was pretty good. They had eggs,omelets, sausage patties, sausage links, cereal, pastries, waffles, pancakes, juice, boiled eggs, yogurt; ample supply. You'd better get there in plenty of time because if you linger past their shut down time, they are locking everything up and cleaning up around you. One of the best things about this hotel was Christopher, the young gentleman at the front desk. He was the nicest, sweetest, funniest, caring young man at the hotel. He spoke every time I passed by the desk and had a smile and a laugh for me. I hate he wasn't there on my last night. Overall, the hotel is nice, and I did enjoy my stay.

BW Plus Daphne is by far one of the nicest BW's I have stayed at. The staff is fantastic. One young man, looked high and low for a straw for me because the local fast-food restaurant across the street neglected to give me one with my milkshake! Everyone wa so nice, courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with each day!

We've been to this location 3 times in the last 12 months great staff & location we will definitely be coming back again next year as our pit stop to Orlando & our pit stop when we drive back home to Tx

Found our first stay at this hotel a very pleasant experience overall. We especially liked having the option of Dark Roast coffee at breakfast! Room was attractive and amenities were consistently functional but really missed having an over-sink light in bathroom. Appreciated the nice hair dryer, but the shampoo, etc., provided were small and unimpressive considering the nightly rates.

Great location as it is quiet and allows for relaxation. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. I like this place and will stay there again. Restaurants are conveniently close and so after a drive from New Orleans, it was a wonderful stopping place.

Last minute stop on drive to FL and we were very pleased with the room. Size was good, mattress great, good linens , lots of pillows. Bathroom good, shower excellent. The breakfast was very good lots of choices, always like a choice of regular or dark coffee. It was very quiet even though almost totally full.

The motel was great I will for sure go back to BWP in daphne. The motel rooms was large and clean . The breakfast was outstanding and had plenty for people.i would recommend this inn to anyone'traveling to Daphne

A mistake was made initially in our room assignment within our group. The Hotel Mgr stepped in and took care of the problem as quickly as he could....he was very sorry about the mistake and we were upgraded to a better room at no cost. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was very clean and very comfortable.

Very well kept hotel - outside and in. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable to guarantee a good nights sleep. Outdoor pool was a great asset to our stay. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Housekeeping is lacking. Some trash and a cleaning rag left in our room. Needs better maintenance. There was mildew on the ceiling in our bathroom. Mattress on the sofa bed was super old and didn't look very comfortable. I just put sheets on the sofa for my daughter to sleep on.

We stayed here one night due to bad weather on our way home to Texas. The staff is the rudest we have ever experienced. The worst Best Western we have ever stayed in. Room was filthy and mold in AC. Smelled horrible. Broken lamp, dirty comforter, paint peeling off everywhere in room. Workers spraying Lysol everywhere to cover up the odor. They advertise free breakfast until 9am so when I arrived at 8:55am the female worker there began to lock everything as I was trying to access it. I couldn't believe it. She wouldn't look at me as she did it and was racing to finish as quickly as possible. I went and told the guy at the front desk and he looked at his watch at said, "well it's 9am." I told him we stay at places with free breakfast all of the time and have never experienced rudeness like this before. He said he'd let the manager, Matisse know. Best part about this place is LEAVING it! Disgusting.

Clean rooms except for a little dust along the walls behind furniture. Large King room with separate sitting area. Friendly night front desk lady gave us ideas for food after checking in late. Breakfast is the best I have had so far, eggs, bacon, sausage, waffle and pancake maker, fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads and biscuits and gravy. Full yummy breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

The one thing that stood out was the comfort of the bed, loved it and I have stayed in many hotels. The pull out sofa bed was horrible, felt like laying on a bunch of metal rods. Breakfast, nice touch. Locations, excellent. Staff, not overly friendly. Was a tad concerned when first entering the bathroom and noticed someones razor blade cover laying on the floor. It leads me to believe the floor was not swept. The bathroom mirror was not clean either. Good stay for what was needed.

When another hotel left us stranded, Manager Eric Hillabrand came through and "rescued" us with exactly what we needed- and on a busy Holiday Weekend no less!!! Clean rooms, great breakfast, THE place to stay !

It was a great value and great place. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. The staff was very helpful in making reservations and directions to the hotel. Upon check in the staff was courteous and gave us directions and places open late for dinner as we arrived around 10pm.

The property is in a convenient enough location, close to I-10 and quiet. It's really not BW plus standard however and the rooms that are billed as "suites" are anything but. They are narrow rooms with a tiny window and a somewhat wide entry and a shabby looking 2 person sofa in an odd corner - which faces nothing , not even the tv. If that makes a "suite" - then its a suite. LOL Everything in the property looks shabby, yet mostly clean. The impression just isn't great. There is little attention to detail. The biggest letdown of this particular BW is the staff. There is Billy, who mans the desk and who is quite forceful with guests .. as in .. he will tell you what is and what will be and that is it. when questioned about the 10$ off promotion that is all over the tv and more importantly, on cardboard cutouts on his very desk - infront of his nose, TWICE - he claims its the first he has ever heard of it and he has no clue what to do about it.. but he did get help from the front desk manager.. then stated "its in the system" - whatever that means. Then there is "the front desk manager" - no nametag (on may 5th) who wanders around in very thin baby blue "shorts" with a different color drawstring that appear to be pajama bottoms , a very faded formerly red coke t-shirt and socks - NO SHOES! When he noticed us looking at him funny , he shrugged and said "casual Friday". There is casual ... and then there is "slob"

The hotel is in a great location (close to shopping and food) for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and the room appeared to be clean with the exception of the carpet which appeared to have not been vacuumed and there was plenty of dust behind the TV. The staff was very helpful.

Awesome hotel!! Night manager was super friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was extremely clean and updated. The room was absolutely perfect! Comfortable beds, nice furniture and decor. Breakfast was amazing, by far the best I have had in any hotel so far!

This hotel has great employees. The breakfast is outstanding. There are several cooked items, yogurts, lots of different fruits, oatmeals, pastries, breads, and teas, a waffle maker, options such as coconut, granola, & chocolate chips for the oatmeal and yogurts, cereals, and various other items. The bed in room 101 is the right height for a disabled person. The couch is not. We stay here 2-3 times a year when visiting family. Our daughter stays in another hotel. In the evenings, we gather at our hotel because it is more comfortable. You can walk on the carpet in this hotel without turning your socks black. This says a lot about the cleanliness of the hotel.

The Best Western stole $115 from me in unexplained charges on my credit card. The Housekepping staff was excellent but the Breakfast was horrible/inedible. The room was clean but the pillows were horrible.

Had a great stay. The hotel is in great location lots of places to eat around . It's about 35-40 min. Drive to gulf shores beaches.The only issue I had the was the sofa bed not the comfortable. Other then the sofa bed it was a great place to stay.

This was my second visit and it was just as pleasing as the first. The room was very clean and comfortable (roomy). Great staff, very professional and courteous. A great area full of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

I was told I couldn't check in early upon arriving after a long, 8 hour drive, so I went to nap in my car & wait the 2 hours until I could check in. About 10 minutes later, a staff member knocked on my car window & said they'd have a room ready for me in about 10 minutes! It was wonderful! That's going above & beyond! The hotel is in a great area with lots of restaurants & shopping very close by, the rooms are spacious, clean & updated and the bed was very comfortable.

Best place to stay if you like friendly, clean and easy access. Our room was very nice . . . bigger than the rooms at Disney with great ammenities. The pool was awesome and the fitness ewipment in good condition in a clean room. Our breakast was wonderful: great selection and quality.

First time stay here and room was great! Shower was good, bed comfortable, had microwave, fridge, desk, couch. Breakfast was okay but nothing super but had regular fare but with omelets, biscuits and gravy, sausage, French toast sticks, etc. nice lobby and friendly and helpful staff. Would definetly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay but should have been better. Couch in our room was very uncomfortable. Made the PM manager sit in it..hope she reported the trouble she had getting up. Breakfast is minimal. Coffee great in the morning, tepid in the afternoon. Why have water dispensers across from main desk if they never have water?(Yes I found the water cooler) Lots of chairs in dining room could use a good scrub..gravy? Garbage can should be scrubbed clean or replaced Lighting in bathroom is dim. 2 big pillows instead of 4 small ones on the bed would be fine.

Not really a plus hotel. The desk chair was dysfunctional and the lighting in the bathroom was so weak you could barely shave by it. If this is what Best Western is calling a plus hotel they need to look closer at their properties.

Had to cancel our trip to Savannah due to storm and decided to come to Mobile. Stayed for 3 nights and will come back again. Spacious and clean room. Hotel is across street from a large mall with lots of restaurants to choose from. The front desk provided excellent dinner recommendations.

The stay at the hotel and the staff were great however it is not a place to go for smokers or pet owners they are NOT pet friendly at all and you cant smoke in any of the rooms. I feel that all hotels should aim towards pleasing all guests not just some us who do smoke and have pets pay for the rooms the same as non-smoking people so we smokers should have the same service for our money. The hotel is big enough to separate rooms and such in a manner so to please anyone and everyone.

No Complaints at all. Everything was clean, good selection of breakfast. Hotel staff even allowed us to bring in outside food for dinner and use the breakfast tables. Internet was amazingly fast. Security cameras everywhere covering the parking lot and entrance, and you can view on lobby tv what they are aimed at.

Very nice room as you expect from a + hotel. Had trouble with the Wi-Fi but they reset the modem and it came back on although the the reception insisted there was nothing wrong.. Parkin ok, lifts and a good nights sleep. Very busy in the morning for breakfast but still a good hot breakfast

this hotel was excellent and we were more than just very pleased. we considered it outstanding. All our problems which were few were easily taken care of. The staff went out of their way to assist us. We cannot honestly say there was a single employee there that did not do their best to accommodate us .

Clean, comfortable room, great bed! But this is why I look for Best Western Hotels when I travel. I was traveling alone from Albuquerque NM to Jacksonville, Fllorida, it was getting too late to keep driving and I wanted to get past Mobile on my 3rd night. Next stop, just over the long bridge heading east. I found this really nice, comfy place to stop for the night. The yound lady behind the check-in desk was having problems getting the computer system to boot up, so could not get me checked in. She was kind enough to give me a key anyway and let me finish checking in after I put my things in the room and parked my car. It took a while, but she kept appologizing for the problem. It was after midnight when the system finally came back up. In the morning, I slept in too late and missed breakfast and checkout. The morning clerk, Eric, was really understanding and let me check out really late. This is a hotel I would stop at again if in the area. The staff is very accommodating and understanding. I cannot comment on the other amenities as I did not use any of them. Just a very restful night of sleep.

Was traveling on way back to Florida. This Best Western Plus was an excellent value, good experience and easy access. The full breakfast menu was very good & really enjoyed the selection of eggs & sausage & bacon. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and big screen tv was fun to watch.

This Best Western is back off the main highway so you have to look carefully to see its location. Our stay there was outstanding. They gave us a room that was really easy to get to and in a prime location. The cost was very reasonable. The room was large so you could spread out and do your thing. It was really quiet too. The staff were there to help you and gave excellent directions to the places you wanted to visit. Really enjoyed the breakfast. I would say outstanding overall.

Was in the area for business and decided to give BW a try. The rate was very fair, the hotel staff was very friendly, the room was spacious , clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was also hot and delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during a softball tournament at Al Trione Park and it is a perfect location. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is right across from the Eastern Shore Center so plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. My only complaint was that the room was 52 degrees when we got there. I had to turn on the heat to get it to a normal temperature. We would stay again.

My mom, sister and niece all stayed for labor day weekend. It is a very nice and clean property. My mom was impressed with the breakfast because it was a full hot breakfast and not just a continental type. The pool looked very nice but we didn't use it. All in all..we would stay again and it was definitely worth the 90.00 a night.

This hotel looks nice on the outside... The price was good, breakfast was good, location was great, front desk was nice, it's quiet and safe, but that's where the good stuff ends. We stayed here twice, on each way of our trip. The first stay we found a comb on the middle of the floor of our room(weird), trash behind the night stand, the bed sheets looked like they had not been changed and didn't smell fresh(that bleachy smell) either. The pull out bed was holding on by a spring, and I had my 2 smallest children on it in fear of it collapsing with any additional weight. I thought we just had a bad room, so I kept my returning reservation. The 2nd room was worse than the first! The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, one of the white towels was grey like a cleaning rag and didn't smell that great/fresh compared to the white towels. I found a toenail clipping on the floor between the 2 beds, which would have been picked up if they had vacuumed. The curtains had ketchup or something on them. Now I'm saving the best part for last: The sheets were NOT CLEANED AGAIN! There was HAIR under the pillows on one bed. The sheets did not smell fresh, especially compared to the duvet cover which was clean, and they were wrinkled on one bed where you would usually sit while watching tv. I have pictures. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this made me angry. I'm not a picky person, and I can overlook when things are a little worn out or not perfect, but not changing the sheets is illegal and GROSS! I have serious doubts that I will ever stay at a Best Western again, and will never stay at this specific hotel again.

It was very clean and they accept pets. We have a small schnauzer. The beds were extremely comfortable. This is close to Battleship Alabama. We ate at Logans Roadhouse near by. Also there was a Bass Pro Shop/Fish Company. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Front desk tried to charge me $110 vs reservation confirmation quote of $76, made via a direct telephone reservation to this hotels reservation staff....front desk backed off when I showed her the actual email confirmation quote of $76!!

Convenient location with easy access to I-10, Highways 98 & 90.. Excellent housekeeping and standards of cleanliness. Back rooms are quietest. Pool is clean and inviting. Good breakfast with adequate seating and fresh hot entries.

The appearance was superb The beds were comfortable and the price was good. The staff was really nice, and helpful. They had a storm and it knocked out the intranet and cable but they had it back up in a quick fashion. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that is traveling in the area.

My wife and I and my son and his wife stayed here in May 2016 and were really pleased with the rooms, service and location. Would recommend for overnight stays and for longer term stays. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful! Breakfast was very sufficient and good for an early start. Room was comfortable and had a great night's sleep.

When I review a hotel on Trip Advisor I look for service and what you get for your money. That way a hotel that offers all the amenities but charges a bundle can be weighed against a smaller hotel that gives great bang for the dollars spent. This is one of those hotel. Nice area, lots of restaurants and stores are nearby. Nice room, bigger than most with a separate sitting area. Good breakfast and polite staff. Rooms were well stocked and very affordable, around $80. That is why I rated it 5 out of 5.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly. Our room was clean. Our little guy enjoyed the pool which was very warm and clean. The breakfast was full of choices and kept clean. The front desk staff made a great recommendation for lunch!

I had make reservations for two night at this hotel. We were going to a wedding on Orange beach. We were going to drive back and forth each day. The wedding was on a Friday evening at 6 PM. I soon realized that I needed to have another day so we would not have to get dressed before 11 AM and then the wedding was at 6 PM. I talked to the desk and they took care of it right away. The staff were extremely friendly. They spoke ever time you seen them and were always in a good mood. The hotel sets back off the hwy. and is very quite. The room was spotless and the bed was the best I have slept on in a long time. The room was spotless and they took care of it everyday and did an excellent job. The parking lot was well lit and plenty of spaces. The only thing I would change would be the breakfast. Please put some bacon on the menu.

Stayed at this hotel for one night while on vacation biggest mistake we ever made. We got to our room which was clean no gripe there,but half the channels on the provided list did not work. Bed sheets and pillow cases felt rough like burlap and the continental breakfast appeared to have come from the freezer of a grocery store and heated in the microwave . The waffle though was tasty hence the one star. P.S they also refused a coupon from one of there local coupon books.

We went to this hotel by the review I read on TripAdvisor I thought some of the complaints were some whiny people but after staying a couple nights I say they had something to really complain about. The Breakfast was below average compared to other best Western plus hotels I have been to also the hotel maids don't resupply towels or wash rags like normal all they did was make our beds they never replaced what we used we was short on toilet paper we always had to get our towels and wash rags everyday in the lobby and the pool is so dirty it's ridiculous we found a big giant spider and catipillar in the bottom of the pool lots of bark and debris and a solid film of dirt on the bottom of the pool the hotel and rooms are in desent shape but they aren't anywhere close to staying on top of it. This will be the last time I stay here I would of stayed In mobile,alabama at the Homewood suites the rest of the week if I knew this place was this bad. For what I paid for this room for 4 nights I won't be back!!

Our family stayed here on our way to Florida and really enjoyed it. The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable, the pool was enjoyable and the breakfast was delicious. We will definately be back.

We can here for my aunt funeral ,the housekeeping staff help with directions they are simply wonderful .The front desk guy help us find great restaurants. We enjoyed the drive at night the view was beautiful .we will be back to visit on our vacation. Thank You The Law Family

Clean and well maintained. No room issues at all. Plenty of space in the room. Very good price for the holiday weekend. Only issue is that we did not realize it was an hour drive to the beach. The area is great for shopping and dining. Also, great breakfast options.

Breakfast was cold. Not enough seating for everyone. First room smelled horrible and has to change rooms. 2nd was better. Hallways smelled horrible at least on our floor. It's ok but I wouldn't visit again unless it was a last choice. Plenty of hotels in the area so just check around.

Stayed in a 2 queen room with sofa-bed. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was included and the cinnamon rolls were delicious. Pancake machine was broken and coffee was very weak. Not bad for what I paid.

Room was very clean and well stocked with towels etc. Breakfast was GREAT!!!!!!. Grandson loved the swimming pool. It was up to date and clean. I will stay here again if ever in the area. The lobby smelled like home made sugar cookies baking but alas they did not serve warm cookies. My only complaint.

This was an excellent hotel in a very clean nice town. The room was perfect king suite with sleeper sofa. Amenities were the best. Would definitely recommend it! The pool was small but clean. The staff were so helpful and kind. We loved our stay here it was great.

This was a lovely room, with standard amenities and good breakfast. Overall it was clean… The bathroom looked as if there were a slight interruption to the cleaning process when we checked in. (There was a big hairball on the floor and the mirror wasn't clean. But the way it was done made me think that the process had been started and it was interrupted.) It wasn't a big deal, and the size and comfort of the room was lovely. The couch in the room had seen better days, but that too was minor.

Extremely nice Best Western with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Entire facility was very clean, and the staff were friendly and accomadating. The hotel sits far enough off the highway to be very quiet. There are multiple security cameras outside, and the parking lot is well-lit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stopped here for one night on our way cross country. Very convenient to the freeway, and a really nice facility. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again. Oh yea, breakfast was excellent!

Booked two nights here and arrived early but the clerk let us have a room straight away. Room was clean and comfy, breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the pool and had it to ourselves. Plenty of places to eat across the road. Would recommend the Best Western and if we ever get the chance to tour the USA again would definitely stay here again

Better check the prices if there is anything going on they raise the prices doesnt matter that your not there for the event.We were on our way to a fuineral and we had to pay $50 more because of some event going on in the area.

I was excited to stay at this hotel after reading all the good reviews but after visiting this location they have the worst customer service. My husband and I booked a last minute reservation here and as a gift my mom said she would pay for the two nights. When I made the reservation I asked if I had to have the credit card used to hold the room with me due to the fact it was my moms not mine. I was told that I did not. After driving over 4 hours to get here we went to check in. When I arrived the lady asked for my license and cc. I explained the story and gave lady's name I made reservation with. She didn't seem to really care. I asked to speak to manager, she stated he wasn't there. I told her to call him. She did but went into another room and was whispering. She came back and said we couldn't have the room without the cc. I asked to speak to manger and she said I couldn't speak to him. I understand policy of having to show the credit card but if you have employees telling you something and you drive hours and think u have a room it is very upsetting. More up setting that you can't even speak to a manager. They can run your cc if you don't cancel your reservation late or don't show but if you show without card you can't stay. I asked for a receipt showing cx of room and was also told she could email me bit couldn't print anything out. All around horrible customer service.

My family was on the way home from a weekend getaway when our wheel bearing went out in our car. We safely made it to Best Western Plus in Daphne, Alabama, which I found via Google. When we arrived I was warmly greeted by Eric who was working the desk. He was empathic to our situation. We had to stay for 2 nights, the whole staff was wonderful to all of us. The double room was so spacious, with two comfortable beds that felt like a warm hug; a nice sitting area, and workspace. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The work out room was a good bonus. We didn't get to swim because it was a little chilly but the pool area was also very nice. I highly recommend this Best Western Plus Hotel for anyone staying in Daphne/Spanish Fort area of Alabama. We will be back!!!

Very clean, got great sleep. Had issue with the TV and the Front Desk Clerk she didn't have much of a welcoming personality. Had a knock on our door by I guess the lady in charge of Housekeeping, not sure since she was wearing plain clothes and no uniform. Overall ok for a short weekend stay.

Very nice accommodations with pleasant staff. Hotel was very clean and quiet and is conveniently located to other recreational activities. Room was very comfortable. Internet service was excellent. Exercise room is small but has very good equipment.

Traveling to New Orleans we stayed overnight at this location. Everything about this place was top notch. My wife and I liked the convenience of the hotel to the interstate. It was very clean and well staffed. It made our trip a pleasure.

The room was very nice. The beds were comfortable, linens were soft, towels luxurious and little extras made the room great. There were 4 adults and a small child. One of the adults was to sleep on the sofa bed, which was horrible. When pulled out, the corners were sticking up. The adult tried to lay on the sofa bed and it was like he fell into a hole. He put the sofa back together and tried to just sleep on the sofa part. He ended up sleeping on the floor and refused to stay with the rest of us, sleeping on an air mattress at a family members home. Other than the sofa being horrible the room was nice. The breakfast bar was great. The food was good and there were many items I would never have expected. Yogurt, omelets, ham and sausage were provided along with waffles, bagels and a pastry assortment. This is just some of the items offered. I was impressed. Upon check out, I let the man at the desk know that there was a light bulb burned out in the bathroom and the bathroom vent did not work. I just wanted to let them know as a "nicety", (we weren't hindered by these things at all) and was informed that the rooms were ventilated as a whole..... etc. I didn't need a lecture, I was just telling them to let them know. We were already there for 2 days. The lady that checked us in was fabulous! Very nice, accommodating and informative. I would stay again but if there is a bulb burnt out, they are on their own to figure it out.

This was the last hotel overnight on a very long (over 6200 mi total) trip. It isn't RIGHT off the highway, which is a plus because it was very quiet, but was easy an easy on-and-off location and easy to find. The place was very clean, well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was standard quality and adequate.

Hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The room was very comfortable after a long ride from Memphis, TN. We slept really good and enjoyed the comforts of our room. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection. There were many restaurants to choose from near the hotel.

My son, daughter-in-law and I stayed only one night in this fantastic hotel, but it was GREAT. Very clean (I'm an extremist) and plenty of room. We were in a handicap accessible Queen double bedroom. We didn't have a wheelchair, but anyone who did, and stayed in this room could have maneuvered about very well. I will be staying here again.

Very nice hotel,everything was fine. Stayed in a king rm,had plenty of space and everything I needed. Just don't wait til 8:40 to go to breakfast if you want gravy as it was all gone! Will/would stay there again!

Personnel made this a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and healthy. Parking was convenient. It is close to great shopping, too. This will be our regular accommodation every time we come to the Gulf Shores.

Funeral in Fairhope interment at Alabama Veterans Cemetery Spanish Fort so good location for both. Convenient to Fairhope, Daphne and right on I 10. New so clean, quiet. Right behind Regions Bank next to LaQuinta and McDonalds. Could be hard to find at night

Returning from a quick trip to Texas. Could not travel any further. Called from on the road, booked a room for 2 adults & 2 kids. Hotel was fantastic, price was right. Easy on and off for the freeway and lots of places to eat nearby.

I had previously stayed next door at the LA Quinta however this hotel is far better and priced the same. It's an all suite hotel so the rooms were not too small. They all have a micro and little fridge. Each room comes with a couch and desk. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The only issue we had while staying at the hotel was the difficulty of using the fold out couch. The room configuration required the couch the be at an odd and when opened in to a bed you are unable to get around it all and have to walk on top of it to reach the other side of the room. The breakfast was really good and we were all happy.

I had booked a reservation at a Best Western in Pensacola but ran into an issue trying to pay for the room with my boss's credit card. This happens occasionally but it's never a welcome encounter, especially late at night. I tried a few other local hotels but could not find a room available at a hotel that would allow me to use his credit card. So, late at night I returned to Interstate 10 and drove West until I crossed over into Alabama and wandered into the Best Western Plus Daphne Inn & Suites. Matt was at the desk and he didn't hesitate to book me into a great room at a great price. Fortunately for me, there was also a small "store" and I was able to get a Ramen Noodles to make my late dinner in the room microwave. Needless to say, this hotel was a godsend for me. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the hot breakfast was above average for "free breakfast" fare. This hotel is a little hard to find but it's a gem and well worth seeking out.

You can never go wrong staying at a Best Western. Have been a loyal guest for over 25 years both in the States and Europe and Great Britian. Have always been satisfied. Our stay was only overnight after being on the road for 14 hours. Our room was comfortable and clean and we both got a good nights sleep as well as fresh coffee and light breakfast before starting out the next day.

This was a nice clean hotel...The breakfast was eggs,sausage, biscuits and gravy ect ect it was very good...The internet was horrible....but the room was clean... Had a small hiccup with check in ...would stay again.

We selected this hotel through a third party website for one night as my husband is making arrangements as next of Kin for his terminally ill father. We secured a late check out for noon upon arrival. We were traveling with my ten month old and were trying to get her changed to get out of the room while my husband was in the shower. I informed the housekeeper out front of our room that I would be out momentarily to which she had no issue. A man at the front desk (whose name I am omitting here due to the severity of the incident) called the room at 12:10pm I told him I was leaving as soon as a I changed my child. He immediately called back and told me to get out of the room "right f'ing now" or he was charging me another "f'ing night". I had my friend take my daughter to the car and my husband got dressed. We approached the front desk at 12:20pm to inform them we were leaving. The man started screaming again and I politely told him I understood if he needed to charge us an extra night, but he did not need to be swearing at me. I have PTSD and had asked my friend to take my service animal to the bathroom prior to this incident. He started screaming louder to "get the f out of his hotel. He was calling the police." He stood up and kicked his chair back and slammed his hands down on the desk like he was preparing to come over it and started running back towards the door to enter the lobby where I was standing with my husband. The second man at the desk began apologizing and said he was not calling the police because we had done nothing wrong. 2 housekeepers overheard the exchange and ran to attempt to control the employee. This unnecessary incident triggered my PTSD and the other employees were highly sympathetic and encouraged me to contact the general manager who is on vacation, but would check his voicemail. I left to the parking lot to get to my dog and my friend reentered the lobby to retrieve the managers information. She found the out of control employee crying hysterically and begging for me to come back so he could apologize to me. He said he was on medication and was having a bad day. Unfortunately, an apology wasn't going to be enough and I didn't want to return to the same environment where a man tried to come after me for no reason. They later left a voicemail on my husbands phone that the employee was extremely apologetic and was working with the booking agency to refund our stay and hoped I was feeling better. I am leaving 2 stars instead of one because the housekeepers and other front desk attendant tried to control the situation and they are working on a refund, but it doesn't change the fact that an outrageous incident occurred over a few short minutes in the room past check out time. I am sympathetic to mental illness, but when you work with the public you need to be able to utilize your coping skills to keep yourself in control, or call out if you cannot handle yourself that day. I believe this to be an isolated incident and not a reflection of the hotel as a whole, but the whole experience has turned me away from the hotel indefintely. The apology and refund cannot make up for what transpired today.

easy access to major highway, lots of great restaurants very close by, off the main road enough to be very quiet. We chose a known hotel name since we were staying in a part of country we didn't know at all. It was fine. Only minor complaint was some of towels were a bit frayed - no big deal.

Always a great stay! Never had a problem with this hotel. All staff were very nice. Great breakfast. Hotel is well maintained. I stayed for a combination of business and pleasure. I also stayed because of the bad storms that came through with the tornados.

We have stayed at Best Westerns all over the U.S. and this nearly new property is one of the very best. Front desk service, room furnishings, breakfast offerings, location and price were all outstanding. Our family business was in Mobile, 13 miles away on I-10, but this was very convenient and located in a new, thriving and upscale community. Highly recommended!

OK - I hate hotels that allow smoking and/or pets. This is an extremely clean hotel, convenient to get to, on a quiet street at a reasonable price. They have it all. The room was great with a sofa and coffee table, a desk with chair, small fridge, free wifi, free breakfast, etc. Basically as far as I am concerned this was the best value for the amenities and state of the hotel for any hotel I have stayed at for quite some time. I will make sure I stay here on my way through from now on. I really applaud the management for the NO PET policy and NO SMOKING policy.

We booked a good deal with Priceline and called the hotel to see if we could change to two double beds. They said we could if we paid the upgrade price of 30 dollars. We decided we would do this but when we arrived at the hotel we were told because we booked with a third party they couldn't change it. They were told when I called earlier we booked through Priceline and they knew this by looking at our reservation. Unfolded the couch and there were no sheets. Did finally find them after a phone call to the front desk. Sheets were two top sheets and one had a hole in it. First time to stay at a best western through Priceline. Out of all our travels we have never had a problem with hotel accommodations until now. I think we will be staying away from the best western chains if they are all like this. Disappointed

We were headed to the Gulf Coast but picked this location because it was more in line with the hours of travel that day vs. the next day's schedule, and because it was a BW Plus at a fair price. Checking in another gentleman was ahead of me and I overheard him ask Receptionist Jessica about her day and I learned she was somewhat exhausted. She was not complaining, just truthfully answering, yet she never missed a beat with her service. Before I started my check in information I encouraged her to go ahead and answer the desk telephone. I noticed how smoothly she was able to seemingly perform 2-3 tasks at once. Our assigned room and amenities were all top notch and the advertised complimentary "full" breakfast was exactly that. I do not know that I have had a better complimentary breakfast at a stay in a number of years. The only problem with this quality of stay at the beginning of our trip is that it could only go down from there! Thank you Jessica and to the owners of that facility!

The hotel was comfortable. We slept well and we were only there to break up a long trip, so overall the stay was satisfactory. The breakfast experience left a lot to be desired. We have stayed at other Best Western Plus properties that were more accommodating with better food.

OVERALL: Very pleasantly surprised. Great looking property with attention to detail; friendly staff; great value. I highly recommend and will return when I pass through again if the price is still similar. LOCATION: It was right off of I-10 and I mainly picked it for that reason because I was heading West to East and wanted to start out on the other side of Mobile in the morning. It looked like a safe neighborhood with shopping and restaurants across the streets. CHECK-IN: Friendly front desk with quick check-in. The Lobby was impressive and inviting. ROOM: More attention to detail... the towels were folded in style, rather than just hanging. The bathroom counter was stone with an inset sink. The room was spacious and visually appealing. The bed was made and with plenty of pillows. AMENITIES: Another example of some of the less expensive hotels offering more amenities than the expensive ones: -Parking was free -WiFi was free and was sufficient for me -Gym had a treadmill that was in great shape and... it's random... but I was hoping for a scale because I'm neurotic... and there was one! -Breakfast was free and was great

Very nice hotel, room and staff were very nice. The only problem we had was the noise outside where the air conditioners compressors are located and above us was some type of motor running on the roof, we were in room 314. Should have asked to be moved, but did not notice the noise until later when trying to sleep.

We stayed at this motel with our rewards points we received while traveling last year. We were given a suite that was super nice and very clean. While traveling the next day after checkout, my husband remembered he left his favorite jeans and shirt in the closet of our room. We called them and they had found them .their policy is to call UPS ,they pick it up,bill your credit card . we had the clothes the next day. We could not have had a better experience anywhere. I definitely recommend mend this motel.no pets and no smoking motel.they had a very nice looking breakfast roombut we slept in and did not eat there. A cracker barrel was right across the street. Motel was just before the big bridge .

The room was super nice the bed was soft and the bathroom was nice! But the free breakfast was pretty bad! the waffle tasted like plastic! but they have cereal and bagels so that was good! The hotel had nice parking and it wasn't to close to the highway so it's nice and quiet! All in all great place to stay!

We stayed here for the Go Daddy Bowl. We came in the day of the game and left before 5am the next day (Christmas Eve Day). We didn't need anything fancy or with tons of features. We simply needed something clean, easy, and with a good staff. Checks on all 3! The great staff allowed us to check in early so we didn't have to come back from the city before the game. Hotel was great. Room was large and clean. Great location; we were in downtown Mobile in 10-15 minutes eating oysters!

My family and I stayed one night at this hotel during our trip to Texas, and this was great for us since it was located near restaurants, great conditions and good service. The only thing we were concerned about was breakfast because we expected something better.

I normally place a lot of trust in tripadvisor reviews especially if the review sight has over 200 reviews (as this place does) but unless I just visited at an bad time this place is very overrated. Check-in : OK, not very friendly. Lobby is decorated for Christmas with cheesy large inflatable characters (i.e. Santa Claus). Room : there are SIX different lamps to turn on/off individually (one with a broken shade) to provide light to the room, Really? The design team for best western needs to go back to school. The room was clean and bathroom acceptable. The small fridge made noises and when I went to move a tray in the fridge it was filled with a 1/2 inch of water that spilled all over the carpet. The overall TV experience was one of the worst I've had at a hotel : it took 20 minutes to figure out how to select ESPN (you have to select 1-503 (the dash on the remote is faded) - again, who could design such a ridiculous system? Reception on the TV was very poor (no HD on the channels I watched). Free wifi was OK but I CONSTANTLY had to resign into it (at least 5 times in one day). To add insult to injury the password was "We Care" - NO, you obviously DON'T! I understand this is a "value" hotel but I've stayed in many hotels at this price point that were much nicer.

We stayed here on our way back home from Walt Disney World. The room was large and the breakfast was excellent. We usually stay at Hampton Inn when we visit, but I will chose this hotel again on my next Disney trip!

Nice place to say. Quiet and clean hotel, easy access from main roads, close to stores and gas station, great free hot breakfast in the morning. Rooms are big, confy and clean. Reception staff is very nice and do not hesitate to give some help. I would return to stay again ! 9//10 !

Very comfortable, very clean, very affordable, very friendly staff, breakfast high quality....I always stay at Best western hotel's - never consider any other chain! Very easy reservation process....easy and convenient interstate placement makes it easy to find the hotel of choice.

Wonderful location that was very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great price compared to others in downtown area. Close to restaurants. Definetly recommend and will stay here every time driving through.

Good accommodations Friendly staff comfortable bed- sofa worn out Breakfast acceptable for hotel food one negative- there were boxes in view in the lobby which took away from the tidiness appearance. May have been there to use for Christmas decorations but did not impress me as a first appearance as you walk in the door. Other than that it was a nice clean comfortable place to stay for our trip. Very convenient to our conference and shopping and eating establishments.

We stayed at this hotel after reading reviews online. We found the hotel to have clean, comfortable rooms. It is located just off the highway and near several places to dine This hotel is also close to a shopping mall. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

Wanted to visit the USS ALABAMA but hotels in Mobile were extremely pricey. Just a short drive to Daphne and we found this gem! Great price, wonderful, spacious room, extremely clean, awesome hot breakfast. Will definitely stay again when we are in this area. You will not be disappointed!!??

My family and I traveled to Spanish Fort for a high school playoff game. I booked the Best Western Plus online and was not disappointed. Great location to the high school and very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

You simply cannot beat this Best Western in Daphne. Great Location - Near decent eateries and grocery - Very Nice Rooms - Clean - Quiet - Comfortable ! I have stayed in dozens of Hotels and I always go back to the Best ~

Booked this hotel two different times and would highly recommend as it is safe and the rooms are exceptionally clean. The "King-Sized" bed is very comfy and the sofa is also a great touch...pleasant experience all the way around!

King room was spacious and very comfortable and extremely quite, slept like a baby. Breakfast was also very good delicious link sausage and Royal Cup coffee. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. My only complaint is they need more signage hotel was a hard to see from the street Highly recommend this location.

I have visited this hotel twice now and this is one of the best stays in quite a while. Great staff and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is near quite a few shopping and eateries. I could travel to the coast of both Alabama,Florida and Mississippi within an hour or so without any problems. This location is great for any type travel plan.

We stayed here on the eastbound leg of our trip, and decided to repeat the experience on our return leg. The hot breakfast, included, is the best I have encountered outside of top tier hotels. The kingsized beds are firm and of good quality, but the loveseat was not particularly good. Front desk service is cordial and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. Decor is neutral but adequate

If you are on the road on business or doing your annual road trip, this BWP is worth the stop. Clean, nice staff, and convenient to Gulf Shores and Mobile. We spent two days here while on our annual road trip.

This place was very nice, the desk clerk warm and friendly, she quickly got us a room and gave us info on where our room was located and breakfast hours. Once to the room we were pleasantly surprised with the generous size of the room and the decor. Hot breakfast the next morning was very nice, it included omelets, sausage, waffles you make yourself, assorted breads and pastries, fruits and cereals. The breakfast selection changes day to day. It was quite good. Very comfy beds, plenty of pillows, just an overall great place would stay again!!!

This hotel was very clean. The front desk lady was very nice and friendly. The room was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed. I would recommend it to anyone. If I'm in the area again I will stay here.

To find roaches, left overs on carpet and a TV with sound but no picture after a long day on the road it's horrible, than being told that the roaches are normal at this time of the year it was unbelievable.

Hotel was very clean. Extremely quiet even though they were booked. Breakfast was average. Easy to get to and lots of shopping in the area. Wish there had been some type of restaurant directory. Would book again if in the area.

Great people guy at the front desk was so helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Will go back if we ever need a place to stay in the area We requested a room down stairs and close to the pool. They nailed it! Beds were great breakfast was fine coffee was strong.

I stay in hotels at least 3 weeks out of every month and stay at numerous brands as well. If they all had the service that this hotel had it would be a pleasure to stay and wouldn't be so bad being away from home as much as I do. They went above and beyond to make service a number one priority. After a long journey being greeted by the front desk is my first impression and this hotel was exceptional. The young lady was not only very courteous but very friendly as well. Being later in the evening I have checked I to numerous hotels and it seems that they will put their less desirable employees to work this shift. Big mistake. Nice sized, clean room with comfortable beds. The weather was very hot, so it's hard to complain about the AC being too cold, but we had to turn it off occasionally. It ran constantly. Decent breakfast and pool.
