« Wost hotel stay in recent memory-No heat in the room and no one ever came to service it after two calls »

Overall review: stay away if you have other options. Negatives: Team was unorganized and we had to wait over 20 minutes to check-in without ever being acknowledged. While waiting in the lobby to check-in, we had to observe the front desk receptionist argue w/ a guest about his belongings until they apologized and located his items. However, the biggest reason that I give them a low rating is that we had NO heat in the room and almost froze all night, We tried the thermostat by checking to ensure that it was on w/ the right settings and set it as high as 83 degrees, but it never got warmer. We called the hotel desk twice, once before going to bed and once when we got up in the morning. It was freezing during our time in Dallas and I think it was warmer outside than it was in our room. After two attempts of contacting the front desk about this issue, they promised they would have someone come take a look at our room to no avail. We ended up checking out without ever seeing anyone from service even attempt to fix the heater. Absolute worst hotel service ever. Also, Mini-fridge did not work. In addition, rooms could use an updated look to match their newly branded logo sign out front. Rooms were nothing special. I will also give a full review to you by giving the positives as well. Good location, free parking and wifi, mini-fridge(if it works) in room. I would advise finding another place to stay during your time in Dallas with a hotel that actually services and cares for their guests.

« Nice stay for a Dallas Stars game »

This hotel is in a perfect location to the American Airlines Center. Highly suggest going to the Rodeo Goat across the street for delicious burgers. Round trip Uber was only $10. Quiet rooms and great hot selection for breakfast.

    « Very, Very Happy! »

I read numerous reviews of surrounding hotels and was really concerned about finding one that didn't have bugs, lousy breakfast, stoned employees, security issues or a strip club across the street. I was very satisfied with my stay and everything they had to offer.

    « concert weekend »

The room was great, staff was friendly and clean hotel. The only thing it needed was a shuttle to take you to close attractions. There is a Denny's across the street that was easy for a late night snack, it's open 24 hours.

    « Good stay »

Stayed here for 3nights. We felt safe at the hotel. Rooms could do with an update and it was clean enough. Location is a bit out of town, but taxis are not too expensive to get around, plus there is nearby a bus stop. Nice diners opposite the hotel, which is great if you don't want to travel too far for dinner or breakfast.

« A great value for money, with a touch of Indian Hospitality! »

We had stayed in Best Western Market Centre, Dallas for 3 days in October 2016. The BWMC was right across the road from our conference hotel, and hence we had chosen the hotel. The BWMC is a great option for budget travellers, and for people wanting a quick business stay (just stay & breakfast, not using the hotel facilities much). We were an Indian delegation and were greeted by Mr. Champak Bhai Patel (CD Patel) while checking-in. Mr. Champak was one of the most pleasant and warm staff I have ever met in any hotel. Right from the start, Mr. Champak was with us, and helped us throughout our stay at the BW - Market Centre. As we were from India, he navigated us through all the local factors such as travel distance, type of transport, food, hotel amenities etc. Mr. Champak was very pleasant, and provided us great assistance during check-out as well. Overall, our stay experience was greatly enhanced by the presence and service by Mr. Champak Patel. So much so that, during the remainder of our trip, we always remembered the experience at BW-MC, and were comparing it with other hotels. My only feedback would be to improve the Gym at the hotel (it is quite outdated), and also try to improve the breakfast spread if possible. Other than this, the BWMC is a great value for money, for people wanting to stay in the Business Area of Dallas.

    « not statisfied »

As stated in other questions in survey. The room was not in good shape. the HVAC and TV were substandard. The breakfast items were warm to cold and not of a good quality. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. I will not stay here again. At $270 for 2 nights, it was no bargain!

    « Good Price/ Bad Breakfast »

Going to Texas State Fair on its last weekend was the purpose of this weekend stay. Based on location and quality of the rooms, the price is fair. Minor maintenance issues common with older hotels. Have stayed at this location several times before. But the breakfast experience was a disaster. Worst micro-waved food experience I have ever had at a Best Western location. Quality of food and presentation was worst than usual. Made worst by the fact they only had one waffle maker at this location. Breakfast was suppose to be served until 9:30. At 9:20 waffle station was out of batter, staff refused add anymore batter. Shut done entire breakfast area at 9:25. Every Best Western location should be required to have two waffle makers to handle the morning rush. Ate my micro-waved food earlier, went back unsuccessfully to get a waffle later after the morning rush.

    « Pleasant Stay »

We were there for an extended stay. The staff and owner are very helpful ,considerate and extending. The rooms are nice enough and the location is very close to downtown. You can park close to your room and don't have to deal with parking garages, etc. It's a noisy street but surprisingly quiet inside the rooms. Restaurants are close by and our overall stay would rate somewhere between very good and excellent.

    « Great Hotel! »

The cleaning staff was very accommodating to my seminar schedule, and coffee preferences, (caf not decaf). The front desk recommended an excellent TexMex restaurant. I'm a regular guest at this hotel, at least twice a year, precisely because the rates are reasonable and Mr. Patel and his staff are such a pleasure to do business with. I look forward to my next visit!

    « Avoid room 208 »

Pros: nice staff, comfy bedding (not heavy, seemed to be easily laundered, good pillows), doors that don't slam, good location. Con: noisy A/C in 208, apparently can't be fixed, because the maintenance guy tried. Our bed also made a weird, metallic sound when we sat on the foot of it.

    « OU/TX weekend »

First off we requested a non-smoking room and they booked us in a smoking room. When we complained they just told us all they could do was spray the room. Second, the room was in horrible condition! The ceiling was coming in, the door had at least an inch crack at the bottom, and then bed made a loud bang each time you got on/off. Another couple we went with room was still dirty when they checked in. They had dead crickets and long black hair on in their bed, EW! I will never stay here again or recommend it!

Very good experience, people is very nice, and rooms are clean and comfortable , just have to improve breakfast and gym., location is very convenient to the people that go to the Dallas Market, you can walk to get it.

I have stayed here so many times that it is feels like a second home to me! The CEO here, Mr. Patel, presents a welcoming, safe, clean environment which is also extremely comfortable. His friendly, efficient staff make every effort to accommodate their guests. I use the fitness room every morning I am there. It is sparkling clean. I will always stay there when I am in Dallas. The location is perfect: close to downtown & all freeways.

    « Dallas Business Trip »

Nice Hotel, good location in the heart of Dallas. Breakfast is good, Internet is Awesome, Front Desk Staff is very helpful, but beware of the Housekeeping Staff, very Rude and Pushy and speak Broken English if that, I might consider staying here again, just hope they do something with staff training.

« Older hotel, good location »

The Best Western Market Center hotel is a really good location, not far from the center of Dallas. But if it was up to me, I'd demolish the place and put a brand new hotel in its place. It's seen better years, you can clearly tell it's old: no matter how many layers of orange paint you put over it. That also means a small room and no elevator outside. Good luck hauling your bags to the second floor. The place seems popular with builders and tourists alike. There's really nothing pretty about it though. The beds were comfy though and except for some hairs in the shower, the room was clean. We could hear the neighbors though. I assume older buildings have thin floors. The hot breakfast was fine though. If you need to be close to the center of Dallas, the hotel is an economical choice. But don't expect a fancy new place, because it's not. It's more a super8 then anything else.

« Great place for a great price! »

I really enjoyed my stay and would come again. I think the price I paid for it was a bargain considering the room, the location, and free parking and breakfast. Hotel seems well maintained and several furniture pieces in room looked new. Pool area is nice and cozy for an evening beer. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    « ? »

The location is nice. This is an older hotel and is in need of many upgrades. We chose this hotel because it was close to where we wanted to go. The Best West Plus In Lewisville was much nice. All the staff was very nice at this location.

« Poor value for the price »

Desk clerk was less than helpful. Room design was ridiculous, with "saloon doors" blocking the dressing area, but no door on the actual bathroom. Saloon doors didn't fit right and wouldn't stay closed, plus there were several inches of clearance at top and bottom. No microwave oven in room, although there was a small fridge. Very thin cover on beds. Breakfast included frozen items and hard pastry, and was expected to be eaten only in the breakfast lounge area, which was full. If you break the rules and take it to your room, there is no way to heat it to the point of being appetizing. A large cockroach crawled across the foot of a family member in our room. On the plus side, the motel is in a good location for access to the Market Hall, and easily accessible. The price was a scandal, but not out of touch with others nearby.

« The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. »

I have never before had cause to write such a negative review, but I urge you not to book this hotel. The hotel is at least 30 years out of date, and looks like it has neither seen a refurb or even a decent clean in that time. It is literally falling to pieces, or rather beginning to rot. The communual areas are at first glance, passable, or at least they were in the dead of night when I checked in. The rooms, or at least the one I had was simply horrific, a damp musty smell, poorly lit, paint peeling, dirt everywhere, soiled soft furnishings, and I could go on.... The only reason I did not check straight out was the fact it was gone midnight in a new city and I thought it best to hunker down until morning. Once it was first light I headed to reception and checked out as quickly as possible, asking for the 3 further nights I had already been charged for to be refunded. The staff did not even blink, I assume they are used to such demands and simply do so as they know that there is no real point in arguing. I simply cannot believe that Best Western could allow such a hotel in their chain, surely they do audits of their hotels? Either way I checked into a new hotel straight away at a similarly priced hotel not too far away later that afternoon and the difference was incredible. In fairness the location between the airport and the city center was good and the staff were nice, but this hotel needs to be closed for a a thorough refurbishment before it should be accepting anyone elses money. It is simply in diabolical condition, and possibly a health hazard. Please do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

    « my thoughts »

the room was very nice and the staff was great. the only things I didn't like was the small bathroom and the bed could have been a little softer. the location of the hotel was great. it was close to the conference and easy to find.

    « This is a horrible manager »

Charged more then what they told me I would be charged. Please go to another hotel, or expect to get more on your bill that what the guy promised to charged you. My bill was supposed to be $87 per night and they ended up charging me $112 per night I should have gone to a better hotel when I had the chance. The room smelled liked mold and the cleaning was not great.

    « Value for Money »

Hotel is not far from down town Dallas. Spacious room and big comfortable king size bed. Quiet and peaceful. Friendly and helpful front counter staff. There is a swimming but I don't have the time to swim. More important is value for money.

« Well located and comfortable »

Stayed here for one night on a points stay. Rooms and breakfast only OK, but I slept well. A number of places to eat across the street. Enjoyed Rodeo Goat for burgers. Right off the freeway, so easy to get to the Sixth floor museum and Bush library, the reasons I came here. Hotels everywhere too! Good location for travelers.

« Nice place to stay but replace the girl at the desk! »

Nice, quiet location. The rooms were nice ..appreciate the fridge and microwave. The bathroom was extremely small with the door being in the way. Very good hot breakfast. I would stay there again. Close and easy access to Dallas Love Field.

« well worth the price »

Nicely priced hotel in the heart of Market Center. Clean room. Good breakfast. Great job by housekeeping everyday. I would stay here again. The room is a little small but for the price you can't go wrong. I would recommend people to stay here.

    « Very Disapointed »

Market Center Dallas, TX 1st room 203 the AC was making a bad noise. 2nd room 123..Yellow Jacket bees nest on the doors leading to the pool, we could not use. There was a T-shirt left on the floor from another guest that the cleaning people did not pick up. No ironing board in room had to ask for one (had an iron but no board). Towels were dingy & faded yellow (supposed to be white) & one wash cloth was light gray-stained. Towels also felt like sandpaper.. very hard. Commode leaked on the floor. Very disappointed. I spoke to the Manager & they did offer 50% off room price.

« Great hotel, good staff »

When hotels all look and feel the same these days, I will remember this one for how comfortable the room was, the plush towels and the good staff. The biggest surprise was that the vending machines were not a rip off like they are in most hotels!

    « Just ok »

Breakfast was terrible, upon check in, the hotel clerk accidentally forgot to give me back my drivers license and the room was really runned down. The price point was ok and the neighborhood is a little sketchy but it was helpful to be so close to love field. I'm glad we only stayed one night.

    « Ultimate BW »

Awesome property with friendly staffs. Superb internet speed in rooms. Nice food quality and top of that, right next to market centre.. The only issue I faced that there is no availability of Indian food / cousine around.

« Great Place to Stay: Close to the Children's Hospital »

Mr. Patel (owner/manager) and Lee (night shift manager) went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. I had two rooms that joined together while staying in the area for our one-week old grandson's eye surgery at the hospital. Mr. Patel was very accommodating in making the reservations and ensured our rooms were adjoined; additionally, that we had a great rate. Lee was very accommodating to our late arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel!!

    « Meh »

The bathroom is extremely small. I don't care what size you are the bathroom is too small. It's a box; an uncomfortable box. The chair that sat at the desk was filthy. It looked like someone did something strange on the chair. The side chair was filthy. It looked like a child urinated on it, or maybe someone with a weak bladder. The best part of the hotel is breakfast. Oh and sadly I arrived the day after the five policeman were murdered by a military trained sniper. I could tell that the receptionist was nerved up about it, because he kept telling me about his girlfriend that never showed up. He wanted me to know that she is black. I guess that was to make us feel comfortable, make him feel safe etc. I don't know. I didn't care. He was nice though. Oh one more issue is that I could smell marijuana coming from one of the rooms. The pool was okay. My daughter had fun in it. It's good for a quick stay, but if you are staying more than one night I would book elsewhere.

    « Dude, really? »

I stayed 4/08/16 through midday 7/08/16. We booked two non-smoking adjacent rooms, four months in advance, to attend a convention in Dallas. We called one month, one week, and the day of, to make sure our rooms were conjoined. We arrived and were told there were no conjoined rooms for us. We sucked it up and went with it. We received our keys and went on to our SMOKING rooms. We noticed the air conditioning was not working in one room, so we asked if there was anything they could do. They (the personnel at the hotel) said they needed to reset it, and they did, but to no avail. We asked for another room, and fortunately this air conditioning worked. After our dinner, we saw a mouse run across the floor in the second room. We asked for a different room and got the total run around. They said there were no other rooms available. That was their go-to response. But after we refused to go back to the other room, they found openings. We got three sets of keys before we settled in another room. First key- only one bed for four people, second key- someone already situated in the room, and the third set was the one we settled in. By the time we reached the third set of keys, it was eleven p.m. I was not pleased with how the staff handled this set of circumstances, and I have stayed at this hotel three other times. I know this place is cheaper than the others around it, but, honestly, this place needs to be bulldozed and turned into a parking lot.

« Great Owner and Staff. »

I just wanted to acknowledge the owner and staff of this hotel who helped us so much as we tried to locate our camcorder that we had lost in another hotel, three days previous. They made so many out of state phone calls and even continued to help after we had checked out. This was so much appreciated.

The following day after I checked out the hotel, the receptionist charged me twice.( they have your debit card or credit card information so they deducted from my bank account.) I have tried to reach out to the manager, guests service, call center and NOOOO one have even followed up.. I have the invoice of what I paid the departure day and there is no reason for the hotel to deduct money again out of my debit card. I have my bank account statement proving that the Best Western Hotel Market Center took more money out of my debit card. ¨Watch out travelers!! Don´t provide your debit or credit card information particularly at this hotel. They are Thieves!! Here is my contact information hoping some one from that company contact me to reimburse my money. Email:

    « Does the job »

Needed an inexpensive hotel near downtown Dallas. This old hotel is next to the Doubletree and down the street from the Anatole which are two luxury hotels. This is a basic stay hotel with WIFI, small pool and free breakfast. The people we dealt with were very helpful and nice in meeting our needs. Only a $6 Uber ride away from House of Blues and good dinning so this hotel DId The Job for us.

    « Bad Experience »

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! Shower was dirty, AC did not work very well. The staff was okay, breakfast buffet was adequate.. At check-out, clerk said her computer was down, and she couldn't give me a receipt. She said she would email it to me, but after 2 days, I still haven't received ti,.

« Best western in Market Center »

This is a good hotel and located close to Dallas downtown, The only detail I didn't like was the pool water, I think they have to give a better maintenance, because it wasn't clear. Breakfast and service from hotel personnel was good, and rooms clean and excellent service.

    « Reasonable and CLEAN »

Very happy with our stay at Best Western Market Center in Dallas, TX. It was very reasonable prices for such close proximity to downtown (less than 3 miles from convention center). Hotel looks a little questionable from outside. It's nestled within a lot of newer properties. BUT.... it was well appointed and clean. Our room was a pleasant surprise. Believe its been renovated recently. We had a 1st floor open to courtyard / pool area. It was fabulous with kids (Youth Boxing Group). Some shady locals at night, but that's to be expected in a large city, downtown area. Denny's across the street was exceptional good service and food. Approximately 1-1.5 miles away there is a McDonalds, Popeyes, Burger King, and Jack N the Box. All very new and nice too.

« Nice Place to Stay »

This is an older motel situated near the downtown area of Dallas. The rooms are small, but very very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of tasty breakfast choices. We selected this motel for its location to the Convention Center and its price, which was very reasonable. We were not disappointed.

  • 3

Overall you pay for the quality of the hotel. I stayed here because it was the only one available at the time of booking. But for the rate they were asking, it could have been better. Best Western did the job though. Staff were friendly, and shuttle made it worth while.

    « business trip »

I stayed for two nights and found the hotel to be just fine. It is not a fancy hotel, and it's not priced that way either. Room size was pretty average for an under $100 stay. Cleanliness was good enough and the wifi worked

« Great place, good location to downtown Dallas »

The staff at BW Market Center are friendly and helpful, and the place offers a nice environment that's also convenient to downtown. I was there for pleasure and felt good. I had a lovely specious room and was generally pleased at the value for my money. Recommended.

    « Not a good experience »

I was not addressed by the clerk as a Diamond Member. I was placed in a room that was very outdated. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The floor lamp in the corner of the room did not work and I find that often at Best Western Hotels. Not sure why they even put one in the room if it's not going to work. I like to read so it would have been nice to have it working. The hotel is nestled next door to the Hilton and other better quality hotels. My rate was not that great for such an older hotel. I was not given the option of a better room location . My room was in the back of the hotel with no view. The restaurants in the area were slim to none.

    « small rooms »

The rooms were so crowded with furniture that you could not move and the fan in the bath room so loud you could not turn on the light. The facility was clean and convenient to the airport and the staff very helpful. Pool looked great and clean, but I did not have time to partake. Breakfast filling.

« Solid Stay at Reasonable Price »

Stayed here as a secondary hotel to the main hotel for my conference. I was looking for a combination of price with a safe, clean, nice place to stay for the little time I would be in the room. I got exactly that. Only gripe would be the bathroom size was a bit tight, but everything was clean and had no issues sleeping. All was quiet, and what few interactions I had with the staff were positive. In the event we have another event here where the host hotel is $200/night, I'd definitely consider staying here again. As a quick side note, if you stay here, you are within a 2-minute walk of a great burgers and beer joint, the Rodeo Goat.

« Market Center BW - excellent deal »

nice beds - quiet room - secure parking- convenient location breakfast very good - sausage, eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit staff quick and friendly what you see on the website matches reality

    « Great Stay »

We have stayed at this hotel before and have always enjoyed it. We unfortunately didn't make in last year seeing as it was full so, we were thrilled to be able to come back. The rooms are nice and comfy, the staff helpful and the breakfast was warm and tasty. The

    « Solid hotel Experience »

Nothing bad in particular. Good free breakfast, free parking, clean rooms. Overall great experience. Didn't use the exercise room but it looked like if 2 people were in it the room would already be crowded. Nice looking pool area. They had a sign in the breakfast area that customers can't take their breakfast to their rooms, because of that there was a potential problem since when we went down to eat the breakfast area was full the entire weekend but when we took our food to the room we were never bothered for doing so.

    « A very nice experience »

This hotel was a very nice surprise. Very well located, nice rooms, rich breakfast, kind staff! The staff really went above and beyond. The room was modern and spacious. The internet service very fast. I did not have any problems. I only wish the room had a microwave oven. There is a Denny's just across the street and a hamburger joint within one minute. This hotel is 6 minutes from downtown Dallas.

    « Great place. »

Great location, close to downtown, easy access to freeway, staff was great. Breakfast was good. Very clean, rooms very clean, free wifi. Need alittle update in bathrooms. No restaurants close by besides Denny's across the street.

    « BWMC Review »

Price to value is askew. Location is great but the property shows its age. Parking was tight and limited during events. Space in bathrooms very tight. Staff is nice. Be sure to get water before going up to your room and bring chargers for your devices.

    « Family friendly »

The hotel is very family friendly, nice location and clean surroundings. I would recommend this to anyone. Though there is no restaurant within hotel premise, there is Denny's across the street. Good restaurants are within 1 mile drive.

    « A pleasant stay »

Stayed here before but still a pleasant place to stay at...easy to get too of the freeway system and close to downtown. Very clean and looks great. Some updating would be good as the air-conditioner needs an upgrade and the bathrooms too but all in all a lot better than a a lot of other properties. The breakfast is above and beyond at what is offered at most other hotels. Great time had and will come back.

    « Great Option & Value »

Located at a very convenient distance to & from downtown Dallas. Also nice to have Denny's restaurant right across the street. It is a much better option for someone like me who likes free parking and not like in downtown where hotels offer and charge valet overnight parking at high prices. The hotel appearance, facilities and customer service were great...!!

    « Dallas »

Great hotel, good location, good price with a friendly and helpful staff. Good to know or have a hotel in a big city that usually isn't as nice.. The location was in downtown too that was convenient for me this trip.

« Nightmare at Best Western »

I have stayed in many hotels, but nothing could compare to how disgusting this hotel is. When I checked into my room, I could not believe how dirty my room was there was stains on the sheets, stains on the carpet, the A/C vents was filled with dust and room had so much rain damage it was unbelievable how worn and torn the hotel was, the headboard was dirty, the towels all had stains. The toilet hose was coming apart from the back. And I am sure you are asking why did I stay! The only reason I stayed was because my daughter and her teammates where staying there and upon me checking in, they already charged my credit card in full. When I went to the front desk to speak with manager, I was told no one was in to help me. They did not offer to move me or refund me for the awful stay. I am truly disappointed with the staff and hotel. Best Western Hotels have been around for such a long time, and I have stayed at many of your hotels, but the Market Center location, really needs help with hospitality and definitely repairs must be made. I worked in hotels from Houston to Alabama and there was always a manager on duty to take care of guest needs and concerns. I know it takes time to renovate hotels, but the rooms need to be clean, but if the employees are bringing their children to work it is very hard to do your best work, when you are having to watch your child. I noticed that there was more than three children with there mothers at work. Not only is productivity problem it is a safety problem, they should not have there kids at work, especially on the guest rooms and the back of the house kitchen area. I sent a complaint to their corporate office and the response was immediate, but upon speaking with rep, I realize he had not even read my concerns or complaints, but he was quick to offer me a $35.00 refund.

    « Great American Feel »

We stayed here during our trip to Dallas for Wrestlemania. The hotel had this cool American Motel vibe, with cute little balconies. It felt homely and so safe. The bedroom wasn't the most modern. There was quite a lot of artex, but the room was huge! We had a superkingsize bed, sofa/ lounge area and a nice bathroom. We didn't try the breakfast (with Wrestlemania on it was busy) but the Denny's across the street was cheap and yummy! I did see the breakfast area had a waffle maker to make waffles in the shape of Texas- this looked awesome! The staff were lovely. In the morning, when we went out, reception gave us bottled water. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were genuinely surprised to receive tips and were very grateful. Transport links are simple. It is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop up the street or a 10 minute walk to the dart train system. A fab location! We would stay here again!

We rented this location to be close to the convention center but not have to break the bank. It was nice and convenient and served its purpose. There are restaurants an fast food places located close by. the parking is tight for full size vehicles but it worked.

    « Horrible »

The hotel feels old and grubby. The rooms are shabby and the breakfast is dismal. We also had trouble with our booking, we had booked a room with two beds but when we arrived we only had one. Because the hotel was fully booked we were unable to change rooms until the next night. The staff weren't very knowledgeable of the area and seemed confused by simple requests such as booking a taxi to the airport. One positive is that there is a bus route just up the road to get into the downtown area. The only place to eat nearby is a Denny's diner or the restaurant at the the Hilton next door. We were really disappointed with this hotel and the staff. I wouldn't stay again.

« Small but great breakfast »

The rooms are tiny but decorated nicely. I had to literally be careful how I moved so I wouldn't bump into the bed or dresser or desk. Plus most of the room are external; meaning the doors are on the outside. For me, traveling alone, I prefer not to have doors on the outside. I wish I knew that before I booked. Their breakfast was great. Waffles the shape of Texas and a good number of choices. Staff was great. Very helpful when calling a cab for me (evening staff). Cab ride to American Airlines Arena averages 7-9 dollars. There is a Denny's across the street for lunch/dinner.

    « Best Western Dallas »

I went on a one week driving tour of Texas. I chose holels based on free breakfast and availability of free parking. I was surprised this hotel was not on a bus line as many others are that I have stayed in. Room was nice but a/c not that good. Luckily it was not a heat wave. Plenty of brochures and desk clerk helped with directions. Nice full breakfast and coffee available at all times. Also loved to be able to reheat leftovers in the microwave.

    « it's ok..... »

this hotel is ok....needs remodeling and room smelled musty when we got there. The safe didn't work and front desk clerk had no clue how to make it work. Bed was pretty comfy after a long day site seeing, ac was cold and an extra blanket would've been nice. Now the shower.....that is the best thing about the room, water pressure was is best I've encountered in a hotel room. Overall for the price it was a good space and close to downtown and Rodeo Goat was a short walk away.....

« Old and smelly rooms, »

I had a request of a midnight check in and a late check out, but didn't received any reply till the deadline of free cancellation. The hotel was an old one, needs a refurbishment. Smelly rooms with stuck doors and not properly working bath tubs. The safe box in the room was not working. They changed my room on the second day to a room with the same issue on the safe box! It was fixed at my last day, finally! I wasn't in room whole days, because of whole days involving at a conference, Not consuming so much of the breakfast and in-room coffee and so forth. The room left very clean with a solo occupancy. On the last day when I asked for staying at least till 3pm, because of the Turnado and bad weather, it was not agreed and I was obliged to leave the room unhappy while there were not any new guest waiting for stay because of the Sunday evening and storm. It was a shame, sorry.

« Nice hotel, great price excellent location »

Always excellent BW hospitality. Great room, breakfast and service. We always stay at BW because of their consistently fair pricing, nice rooms and of course, the waffles in the AM! Great coffee here, too. sdm

    « Nice Hotel »

We stayed here during our trip for Wrestlemania 32 The hotel is lovely and clean.. The beds are by far the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in during a hotel stay. Its basically an american Premier Inn Upon arrival though our bill to stay was an extra $100 then what we were quoted when reserving off I had a picture of the receipt but the guy behind the reception literally didn't care. He kind of said "well this is the price you have to pay and needs to pay upfront now" I don't remember his name but he was rather rude.. Never said hello or goodbye. Apart from him the rest of the staff were awesome! Polite, helpful and could not do enough for you. Plus you are opposite a Denny's which is really cool! They clean your rooms everyday and do an awfully good job of it too! Apart from the bill and that one member of staff i would definitely recommend this hotel! I will be sending an email about the extra $100 though Overall... Stay at this hotel.. its lovely and only a $5 uber trip to Downtown. Plus if you do stop here try the Rodeo Goat down the road! Burgers are immense

    « Value »

A lot of other hotels in the area that charge $250.00 to $300.00 plus. So this is a gem at 135.00 and that's using an internet search of various sites. It has a pool and rooms are worn but the bed was conformable.

« OK for the price »

The hotel was ok for the price. Is in a zone close to downtown and you can take buses there. We tried using the DART but you have to travel round the World trade center to get there. The hotel needs some serious remodelling. The outside looks really ugly. Our room had a lot of issues, including the safety box not working, the bathroom door not closing. I understand this wasn't a 5 star hotel. But I've had way better experiences with Best Western before at the same price and star rating

    « Mr Phil Drury »

Just got back from a stay at this hotel. Room was cleaned daily. Had a small issue with safe but was fixed within minutes. The evening guy on reception (Lee I believe his name was) was very friendly, helpful and provided us with lots of information, water, juice and coffee. Would definitely recommend if anyone is visiting the American Airlines Center as only a small drive/bus ride away. Thanks from England :)

    « Clean comfortable hotel! »

No major complaints with this hotel! We arrived at 1:00 am from airport via a taxi and the front desk fellow was very helpful..offering us water, fruit, and anything else we needed. It was a short night of sleep, but comfortable room. The bed was a little soft for me, but not for my husband!! Great stay! Great breakfast with a lot of and cold items!

« Very pleasant place to rest my head »

In at 11:00pm and out at 7:30am for a quick overnight business trip, Great bed, clean, quiet, courteous staff, and free wifi. Everything I needed. Wasn't sure where to get a good value hotel near Uptown. Found it and would come back again.

« Nice place and great value near Market Center »

This is an excellent value in the Market Center area. Clean rooms, very comfortable bed. Good internet service and a decent breakfast, all included. It is very close to Market Center areas, love field and downtown Dallas.

    « Excellent Customer Service »

The help I received from Danny and Lee made my stay at the Market Center, Dallas , Texas hotel was amazing to say the least. Without their help I may never have recovered my wallet that I left in the cab that took me from Love Field to the hotel. I will be forever grateful to them. The breakfast was always hot and plenty of it with friendly staff . In fact all of the staff I met were really helpful and pleasant. Kudos to everyone at the hotel.

    « Weekend trip »

Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at Best Western. The hotel is located near a lot of restaurants, Medieval Times included! The staff was friendly, the room was clean, I really have no complaints at all! Would definitely recommend to others!!

    « good, but a bit expensive »

Everything was OK (clean and interior OK) except small bathroom and a bit expensive price. Same kind of hotels usually cost 30-40% less. The receptionist was nice, wearing bow tie and being very polite.

« Ok Hotel - good location for convention »

Close to the convention centers in Dallas. Breakfast is good enough and pool looked clean but could go in as it was still winter. Front desk was busy and only one person working it, while others lingered in the back room - lol

    « Wonderful »

As Always, Our Experience with Best Western was exceptionally Well. Will continue to stay at Best Western Hotels as we travel across the US with our Business. Their Staff has always been very helpful when we have asked for anything and very friendly. We have never had any problems with their services.

« Great Room, Great Price »

This Hotel has really comfortable beds and nice up dated rooms for a very reasonable price. I only needed to stay one night for a conference in another Hotel down the street. This hotel was $ 40 dollars a night cheaper than any other in the area.

    « Good stay »

Our particular room was huge with a comfortable bed. The bathroom could have been larger and the room would not have suffered. I Am very particular about my hotel breakfasts. The biscuits were baked to perfection! Nice sausage patties, nothing was dried out or cooked to death! They even had a sugar free option of a vitaminized water which is very nice for those who can't have sugary juices. And the best thing of all was that they had REAL BUTTER! it all went with the room cost.

    « Motel 6 with a little polish »

Adequate. For location. $40-$50 room In a $100 location...Safe did not work and was needed. Faucet on tub was extremely loose and drain broken. SMALL bathroom. Cleanliness was so so...Bed was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great. If not for the bed, breakfast and location my review would be negative. And im verrry sure this was a better choice than across the street. Might stay here again. Our trip to 'rodeo goat' a block away made this experience even better. AWESOME burgers :-)

Not good to go . place is a dump. Dirty floors , dirty gross shower not fit to even bathe a dog. Very small handicapped access. Pics they have posted are very misleading and false advertising. Health Department should be informed...

    « Entertainment »

Pics are very miss leading . Very dirty. Nothing like the pics on the internet . not smoker friendly .rude staff.. BEST BET to STAY 1 HR FROM THERE AT THE BEST WESTERN PLUS IN BURLESON TEXAS . Great Rates also there.

    « The UN Experience »

A 3 day stay for a conference in Dallas. This motel rates a mediocre at best. Crushed wine bottle in the parking lot during whole stay. Room was not cleaned one day. Houskeeping stated someone was in the room. I left at 7:30 each day and returned late. Never got a reason or offer to comp some room charge for this oversight on the evening it was reported or when I checked. Manager never available.

    « Could be better »

Very good location, but the outside needs upgrades as well as the rooms. Bed was too hard, ac did not work well and the vent in the bathroom sound like a tornado! We could not turn that off because it was connected to the light switch! We turned the AC to 60 but it never got cooler than 78 and that can be very uncomfortable in Dallas when it's 85 outside.

« Average Hotel in great proximity to Convention Center »

The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. My only problem came when I went to the vending machine and found that condoms were sold along with the snacks and candy. This was appalling to me! Sure glad I didn't have any children with me.

« A Great Value for the Price »

The outside appearance does not match the inside. It has been nicely updated & in really good shape. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The outside pool was small but The location was convenient to the American Airlines Center as well as many restaurants & shopping.

    « best western »

Hotel is good. staff are very helptul . Not enough towel racks in convenient places. Vent in bathroom was very loud. Walls are pretty thin, & could hear the TV next door. The maid had left the TV unplugged & we reported to staff that the TV wasn't working & they came right away & checked behind the credenza

    « Just OK »

It's a decent place but over priced for the quality of the rooms, it's comparable to the Sleep Inn ($55 per night) over by the airport. We will most likely choose a different Hotel for future visits..

    « Dallas Stay »

Enjoyable stay near downtown Dallas, clean and convenient if not a little pricey. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if they wanted a reasonable hotel conveniently near to downtown Dallas. The breakfast was quite good although some hot products were luke warm. The room was comfortable although the fan in the bathroom made a racket.

« Good Value for the money »

Good hotel. Second time I stayed there, and I would stay again. Had problems with wireless internet, no connection and when connected super slow. So I decided not to use my pad, and instead use the phone with regular data plan. When reported, employee told me it was because I was using Android and not iPhone, he didn't know what he was talking about. Breakfast was good with all the hot items, hotel very clean.

    « 3 nights; unremarkable. Older property. »

Night 1 the heat in my room didn't work all night. The desk clerk kindly offered me a different room, but I was unpacked and too tired to move; he brought a portable space heater & extra blankets to my room. Night 2, the room was 80F, and I had to shut off the heat & open a window to sleep. My toilet made surging (water filling sounds) every few minutes. Avoid room #204. The bathroom was tiny. Overall, the hotel is old & worn, but kept clean. I am pretty sure I smelled pot several times on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is decent, and parking is off-street and free, which is nice. There is a Denny's across the street, and the neighborhood seems quiet. Staff was friendly & helpful.

    « Cozy stay »

Nice hotel with a good price & a Dennys across the street. Older hotel with a kind of Santa Fe/Mexican feel to it. The rooms are a little on the small side, but big enough for 1 or 2 people easily. Nice staff, good wifi, & a cozy little spot.

« Still reliable option for DMC First Monday atendees »

The rate went up to $99 The bed linens and pillows improved but the pesky a/c and bathroom ventilator are soooo loud! The complimentary breakfast buffet improved also- now offers meat eggs biscuits gravy as well as fresh fruit yogurt and cereal. We found out there is no ice machine on first floor.

    « Nice hotel »

We had a 3-day meeting at the Doubletree next door. Their prices seemed high, and their parking was not friendly to those with difficulty climbing stairs. The Best Western answered both of these problems for us. Hotel was quiet and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. The only problem was that the decaf coffee dispenser did not work either morning. All in all, a pleasant stay.

« Best Western Approriately Named »

I do believe that this hotel chain is the best. I had stayed at several prior to my first BW experience and since then, over 10 years ago I will not even consider another hotel chain. Quality is what I expect and I have never been disappointed. Even my grandkids ask to stay at BW when we travel. They love the spacious rooms and the breakfast.

    « I stay here every month... »

I have business in Dallas and have tried a lot of the hotels in this area, but I have settled on staying at the Best Western Market Center every time i come to town. It is by far the best value you can find. Big rooms, clean, convenient to the freeway, convenient to restaurants and activities, but the best part is the friendliness of the staff I now know them all by first name and the owner Mr Patel is always friendly and gracious. I highly recommend this hotel and i know that you will have a great stay!

    « great experience »

I truly liked this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. I was able to get work done and sleep well. This is going to be my new home-away-from-home when I have to travel to Dallas for work each month. Very friendly staff who are very accommodating and want to make your stay the best it can be. Price was very reasonable especially considering the area. I will say the bathrooms are quite compact but completely functional so not worthy of complaint on my part.

    « Nice place »

This was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The room was very nice and clean with a big king sized bed. Breakfast was free, it was a little hit and miss but overall not bad. The location is pretty good if you want to visit downtown Dallas, it was only a short bus ride into downtown Dallas which has many of the most popular tourist attractions of Dallas such as the Sixth Floor museum (which was AMAZING by the way). As for food options close by, there's a Denny's just across the road, 2 burger places a little way down the road and around the corner is Medieval Times (a medieval themed jousting dinner show which was fun to visit). Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to people wanting a quiet, clean, pleasant hotel to stay in.

« Clean room and good service »

I stayed a couple nights at this hotel and found it to be a pleasant experience and well priced. The breakfast is typical, the pool is maintained and it is centrally located. The staff offered me complimentary bottle water as I came and went and they were helpful with area information. If your looking for a good clean stay at an affordable price this is a good choice.

« An evening in Dallas »

My wife and I were flying out of the Love Field Airport the next morning so we wanted a close trip to the airport in the morning. This hotel was newly remodeled so it was very nice, clean and quiet. I was very happy with the options they provided for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was less than a 10 minute drive to the airport which was a bonus! Highly recommend staying here.

    « Not a Best Western »

This is not a hotel that should be classed as part of the best western group. The room was not cleaned regularly, there were bugs in the bed and a cockroach in the room. There was no bar and the breakfast was tasteless. Look at another hotel if you plan a trip to Dallas, I wish we did.

    « Good place »

Pros: conveniently located in/near downtown, comfy beds, free WiFi, free breakfast Cons: questionable neighborhood at first glance, extremely small parking lot, definitely in need of a thorough renovation Overall, good stay with a good night's rest. Would definitely return unless nearby hotels had better rates.

    « Great Hotel »

Great hotel that is convenient, clean, and the staff is very helpful! It is very easy to get into, and has many restaurants nearby. It is also very convenient to Dallas Love Field, which makes getting to the airport at an early hour Great!

    « enjoyable »

Great location, i use to stay up the street for a higher price. Comfortable bed, had a restful nights sleep during the 4 day stay. Will be using the same hotel next year, bringing family and friends along.

    « Highly recommended »

Very nice place to stay walking distance to downtown Dallas, rooms very clean & breakfast A-1, highly recommended for anyone on a budget, you get your moneys worth, and manager always available to help.

    « I would recommend this hotel »

Good site for business, especially with the local healthcare facilities. The burger bar down the street is excellent, Rodeo Goats is a one block walk. Highly recommend. Hotel satisfied all my requirements and was worth the value.

« you get what you pay for »

The hotel was 1/2 the price of everything around it. The beds were rock hard. We went to a concert and got to the room about 1AM. There was very loud tejano music and stomping happening in the room above us. I called the front desk and complained. They said give them a few minutes and they would take care of it. About 10 minutes later, i heard banging on the door and then things did quiet down. On the plus side, while the room felt extremely old, it was very clean and the hotel breakfast was decent too.

    « pretty good value »

Clean and stocked room, with large counters, desk & reasonable refrigerator; iron, iron board, hairdryer. luggage holder, hangers, drawers. Internet worked well. Several extra plugs. Somewhat small & outdated furnishings. Breakfast egg "pancake" maybe from powder? need more fruit. Very nice staff, helpful. Good business center, fitness room, pool.

    « Quiet and Courteous »

The owner and staff were gracious and polite. My room was clean and quiet allowing for a restful sleep during my business trip. Finally, the breakfast area was clean and well stocked, with the microwave and area available throughout the day. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

« Best Western Market Center »

Older property, minimal amenities. We stayed here for OU/TX game. Our room was clean. Bathroom small but clean. Onsite parking. Easy access from freeway. Short drive to parking area at Market Center DART station. Hot breakfast included waffles, biscuits, eggs, bacon/sausage, etc. Also had pastries, etc. Area is full of all the chain hotels. Staff was professional and knowledgeable. Some rooms have outside entrances. Overall hotel is good, just older and in need of some overall updating.

    « Great Location »

Close to a public transportation lot for the Dallas DART line which got us to American Airlines Arena in about 5 minutes. Great food across the street and lots of restaurants in the Market Square area. The Room was very Clean and the area is very quiet.

    « Awful service »

The man who checked us in was very nice; he was on the morning shift. He was able to give us a room before the check-in time. After we got back from eating, we were tired and wanted to take a shower. The "old" smell in the room was terrible. That's when we noticed the tub wasn't draining. I called the next front desk clerk - Brandon? - and he said he would try to find a plunger to unclog it. After 15-20 minutes, we didn't hear from him, so I called him back. He was very rude as the first time he answered the phone and he said: "I'm still working on it. I am going to move you to a different room." Without asking me if I wanted to move - he didn't care. Then he hung up. After another 10 minutes, the new room didn't smell bad. But the shower head was only dripping a couple of drops. I went to the front desk and asked for a toothbrush. He said they were out, that other guests got them all. I went back to my room and fell asleep, but the alarm was going off every two hours, so I had to get up in the middle of the night and unplug it. When I finally fell asleep, the fridge was making a loud noise that kept me awake for another 20 minutes. In the morning when I was trying to dry my hair, the hair dryer wasn't working and the sink was leaking. Everything on the counter was wet. We were done with this hotel, so when I went down to check out, there was nobody at the front desk. The lady was helping herself to breakfast. So we left the keys on the counter and left without taking the risk of eating breakfast. Overall, we received bad service from the clerk. He seemed miserable working there and someone needs to fix the maintenance problems. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

    « great hospitality »

will surely recommend this property considering that the owner himself takes such personal interest in making the guests feel at home. and the same runs across all the staff members and including the front desk. all in all, a great value for money !

    « Good Value »

Pros: The hotel is clean. The surrounding area seems safe. The pool is clean and nicely situated in a courtyard surrounded by rooms. The staff is great, very kind and professional. Cons: Rooms are a little outdated. A/C was very loud. Coffee maker in the room had a bad odor, but we were able to get coffee from the breakfast area instead. Overall a good value for the cost.

    « 5 day stay for a conference »

A very good hotel considering the reasonable price. Clean and comfortable rooms. Efficient, helpful and polite staff. Even a pool and small gym for those that want to work off the food. The breakfast was a little budget, but for the price you can't really complain.

« Good place to stay »

We stayed here prior to an early morning doctor's appointment in Dallas. It was quite satisfactory for our purpose and convenient to our destination. The Denny's across the street provided a place to eat dinner and some breakfast items were available early enough for us to have a continental breakfast before we had to leave.

I stay in a lot of hotels, at least twice a month, and this was one of my favorites. I just loved the atmosphere. Although I was on the go go....I felt very relaxed. It was also a very great location to everywhere I needed to be. I don't think I traveled more than 15 minutes to any of my destinations. Great job to the leadership in this hotel. Also, Denny's is located just across the street. I went there twice....and I mean you literally walk across the street. That was a plus, to be able to go in for some dessert. Overall, this does seem to be an older, but well maintained property. I would recommend it to anyone.
