Best Western Plus London Croydon Aparthotel

Please note that you will not be able to open the windows in the rooms. To me it was a very claustrophobic experience. Windows don't open and the unit on the wall is not air conditioning, it only blows cold air. Corridors have no windows either and have unpleasant odour. Disposable cups and cutlery. Cigarettes smell everywhere. The rooms are otherwise quite nice so if the cheap price is all you're after and don't care about any of the above, go for it. I guess you get what you pay for. But I'd still expect some fresh air access.

Very good hotel, was based here for over a week, and slept well as rooms were quiet. Parking is underground and secure with a roll down shutter. Rooms had a fridge, hobs and a microwave / grill. Shower and everything in the bathroom was great. I had the packed lunch, which was basic but mostly fine. Staff were good, rooms were only cleaned if you requested and you had to leave the room of course. My only fault would be that my card seemed to stop opening the door each day, so I had to go back down to reception to fix it.

First of all the first room we were given had blood splatter on the walls and bed, second we found traces of snot on the headboard and lastly we found an empty condom wrapper on the floor under the bed. It was obvious that the room had been missed and not cleaned, so i asked for a room change which they did and the second room was fine. During our four days there we had no room service which meant no clean towels and the hotel also doesn't provide you with a iron so if you need one bring your own, and also throughout the hotel there was a damp smell like there had been a flood. The plus was that the only friendly member of staff we meet was the cleaner. I recommend that you avoid and look elsewhere.

Excellent service for key workers, working at Croydon University Hospital. Good value for money. Close to Croydon University Hospital. Car Part onsite- £7 per night. Staff friendly and helpful. I will recommended to stay in.

The staff were very freindly and listened to any queries that I had. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. There was peace and quite most of the time outside of the room. There was a working fridge and microwave available as well as a sink within the room which was really helpful during the fasting month. The only down side was the odour in the corridor and the lifts- smelt a bit like mould and I could smell weed too sometimes.

This hotel is based in Good location, hotel have good parking available at reasonable. The room size is good. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. The hotel had COVID-19 guidelines in place.

Great place to stay - very clean and comfortable and very modern. Our room was serviced very well each day. Each room has a kitchenette (no crockery or cutlery though) with a microwave - which was handy because of COVID no restaurants were open - although we did get some takeaways delivered. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It really is a diamond in the rough as the area isn't really that pleasant. But it's a perfect base when travelling to London or wherever. I really recommend it.

Rooms are lovely and the staff are very professional. I use this hotel weekly and have never had any issues. I always book here for me and the lads and would highly recommend. Fantastic value for money.

We stayed at this modern, well run and great value hotel for 54 nights over 10 separate stays during January to March whilst our house was being renovated. The rooms are clean, well equipped but compact - fridge, microwave and sink, and the beds are comfortable. Although these excellent facilities do allow for guests to self cater, we do recommend the authentic pizzas cooked in the restaurant's own pizza oven. Another bonus is the secured underground car park at £7 per night. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast each day - a special thank you to Carmen and Sudheesh for their friendly, attentive and helpful service. Thank you everyone, keep safe.

Booked a double room, got a triple with two single beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable. Mattress was shocking, had completely collapsed. Room was freezing cold, even with the AC set at 30. The AC took over half an hour to start after turning it on. Shower was cold every morning and it flooded the bathroom every time I used it. They advertise the room as an Aprthotel and it doesn't even have the basics. No plates, no glasses, no cutlery - just the standard two mugs for coffee. Rooms like these should have two plates, two bowls, two sets of cutlery, dish soap and tea towels.

I went to this place with my husband for a special occasion and we were not disappointed. We where greeted by a trainee girl at the reception who guided us through our checking, plus advised us to pre-book the breakfast and help us to find the near train station to London . She was very smiling and open and made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the value was excellent compared to other prices we had seen and we found the quality/value and atmosphere hard to match during the rest of our stay . We will most definitely stay here again . Thanks.

Had 2 nights there. The hotel was ok. The parking cost you 7 pounds per day. The room is having a sink, microwave, fridge and freezer, shower, Tv, AC. My AC had a wrong remote. So first night a was freezing in that room because. Me I can bare but I have a two years son. I didn't understand why I can't adjust on the heater the AC. So next day I went to reception and Staff Alexandru gave me the original remote from AC. And after that I managed to have a nice and warm night. On their website is writing WiFi but it didn't work in this days. They said that is Virgin fault. The disabled lift I don't know if is working because I tried to use it for my baby's pushchair and it was somebody in reception (Maria) and she ignore us. She saw us but she didn't said nothing. If is working or not. So I had to carry the pushchair on the stairs. In the end I would like to say thank to the romanians cleaner ladies who works hard and to Alexandru from reception. He was very friendly and helpful. He help me with the remote, places to visit around and advices how to get to London. Vă mulțumesc pentru ospitalitatea dumneavoastră.

Stayed with my friends after attending the birthday party. Very spacious and clean room for us three friends. Staff went an extra mile to check us in after 10 pm and made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was economical with lot of choices .. would definitely recommend

Luckily only a one night stay! It seems reception are also waiters amongst other things, the place is rather confused. I was the only one at dinner, I should have seen this as a sign! Italian menu but dry tasteless food. The service wasn't great, nor the food, the chef and the reception were clearly heard arguing about the chefs rudeness towards her. Asking for sauce seemed to cause an issue. The bedroom was beyond basic but I must say clean, but it was freezing cold, I slept with the heating unit on 30 but still little heat was coming out. I picked the hotel because it was convenient for the job I had to do, but I won't be staying again. Very low budget and fine if your only wishing to sleep and not be there for food or expecting anything else.

I had a pleasant stay, staff friendly and very helpful, it rained the whole time but cosy room to chill,the only annoying thing was slammed doors early morning.. lots of restaurants nearby to eat shopping on your doorstep..

Came here on Christmas night with my partner. The first room we were given had twin beds although we booked a double. while waiting for another room we decided to get some drinks but was told that the bar was closed.... we could however get alcoholic drinks if we had cash!!? (I'm assuming that this would go straight in to his pocket) so decided to decline his offer. The receptionist (male with glasses) was rude intimidating and behaved in a disrespectful threatening manner, he did not to place the room card in our hand and instead through it down on the counter. we ignored this as he wasn't going to ruin our Christmas! my partner asked a question and he just replied "good night sir" meaning that he had nothing to say to us!! We were then moved to another room and the place was an ice box, the air con did not work so we asked for and were given a heater. The heater didn't do much for the size of the room so we had to have it on all the time until we left in the morning. no free parking, we were charged £7, probably went in the receptionist pocket also. In short; very big room with a fridge in it. would be better to stay here in the summer as its just too cold in the winter.

No food served as chef called in sick! No hot water following morning as boiler had broken! Tried to cancel breakfast due to running behind due to no hot water and only the manager could process a credit so had to leave my credit card details (not very GDPR)! Bathroom had a ‘Dirt/Soil' smell too!

Good Value for Money, Clean, facilities in room are good, inc microwave. Secure parking and breakfast/stone baked pizza available. Location is not to far if willing to walk from centre ir if you take a cab/bus leave early as Croydon traffic at rush hours is standstill.

Was quite disappointed from the moment we arrived. Sold hotel parking and allocated one room. We initially parked in the car park and as we walked to the lift there were two girls sat in a car down there and there was a very strong smell of weed being smoked (is this really the first impression you want of your hotel Best Western?). Then when we got out of the lift on the floor where we had been told our room was we were greeted but a member of staff asking us to go back down to reception as we had been given the wrong room. Returned to reception to be given a room on the first floor (directly above the entrance to the car park and the electric gates). Room seemed ok at first but we then noticed a regular noise which turned out to be the gates to the car park opening and closing, this happened quite often. We then had to go out in the car and when we returned we were told that the car park was full and so we could not park there (hello we had paid for a parking space at the hotel, not at another hotel around the corner so when you pay for parking there you do actually expect to park there). So i had to then drive around the corner onto the main road and then park at the Ibis hotel. then it came to breakfast. The 'cooked' breakfast needs some real attention as there is no choice in regards to the contents of the breakfast (with the exception of how you want your eggs, everything else is just put on the plate). When the food came out the grilled tomatoes were stone cold as were the beans and the entire breakfast was certainly not what i expect from Best Western (come on guys you are really letting the company down here). All in all a disappointing stay and the only thing that we didnt really have a problem with was checking out!!!!! Breakfast not worth the amount you pay for it either and i would not recommend it to others.

This was one of the two hotels that we stayed during our recent trip to London. The other one being Travelodge Finsbury (please check out my comments in another post). For this Bestwestern Croydon, all i can: I LOVE I LOVE I LOVE this hotel. Pros: 1. Clean 2. Modern 3. Love the pantry with microwave- so very convenient 4. Location opposite the mosque 5. love the design and the beds. 6. Toilet is nice. Cons: 1. Location, quite far from public transport. 2.Parking for 10 pounds per day :( 3. Nothing else cause i love this hotel. Thank you so much for your superb hotel. I will comeback for sure.

An excellent find with the added budget price, underground onsite parking (£7 charge) Arrived late, around 9.45pm and after a long commute to find the in house pizza oven about to close, but thankfully the chef accepted to prepare my order. It was delicious, possibly the best I have ever had outside of Italy With a room rate less than £60 I wasn't expecting anything as good as the room which even has a sink and microwave? I paid with discount £45.24 after discounts applied online + car park. A bargain The room was fresh, clean. Large Double and single bed. The bathroom fan is well noisy but stops when the light is turn off, no long after drone. Room 411 Slept well

Excellent value for money. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. We had a big room with a large double and single bed . There is a small kitchen and large refrigerator if you wish to prepare your own meals . The large TV screen has all freeview channels too. Continental or English breakfast is an option which are taken in the small restaurant near reception on the ground floor. Staff are polite , courteous and very efficient. We took advantage of the underground parking which is available at the hotel for £7 per night. We have relatives living in the area and have stayed here on a number of occasions and would recommend this hotel very highly.

Comfortable and clean with good in room facilities - oven/microwave and sink. Very handy. Check in nice and easy and staff friendly. Good spot for travelling in the London area without heading into central London and congestion zone.

We stayed in this hotel only 1 night and even that was unbearable. Although the room was clean and looked nice at first sight it was the most unpleasant room I ever stayed in. It was a room with NO window - It felt like a prison. (Although I guess prisoners are even allowed a window) I don't understand how you can rent out this kind of room. We were not given any explanation nor apology and paid the full price for the room. The ventilation of the bathroom made a lot of noice, earplugs didn't even help. The lights of the 2 (!) smoke dectectors were so bright that it made it very difficult to sleep. Probably are the other rooms of the hotel better, but renting out this kind of room says enough about the customer unfriendly approach of the management/personal

Nothing overwhelming about my stay but it served it purpose well and for what it was intended for, did it well. No issues checking in, checking out and moving round. Hotel is well situated for exploring Croydon with the entertainment complex equidistant from town centre. Would've welcomed good food options that may have swayed us to eat at the restaurant but no problem either way. Just a really decent stay

Me and my wife has booked this hotel for 5 nights in London, accommodation is very good and nice and staff very much cooperative and helpful, they always guided us for the route in london, Specially Monika and Prashant are very good.I will definitely stay here again.✨✨✨

Nothing much to criticise - rooms are well equipped with a small kitchenette area (no cutlery or plates etc.) On the edge of Croydon but convenient if you need somewhere to stay around there. Underground car park (which I didn't use)

Aparthotel becomes an option in London as the international hotel chains do not offer facilities in room line with their hotels in USA. In this scenario Best Western aparthotel is a better choice v/s other group hotesl namely Accor and Wyndham. This hotel has good location with easy access to transport, restaurants and superstores. Location is excellent for Asian visitors in general and particular to Indians.

We asked for a quiet room, which we got and twin beds. We stayed in room 106. The floors of the corridors are covered in soft carpet which softenes the sounds of neighbours. The beds were perfect! We asked for a twin and got a family room. The bathroom was absolutely spotless! A good startpoint to see London, we took bus 109 to Norbury, got a train into Victoria and from thereon we travelled by tube and bus. We recommend this hotel! Also because for 7 pounds a night our car was in the parking garage! Tops!

You get what you need if you to visit London for an afford price. Quiet place, good bed and sleeping conditions, good english breakfast (besides you may get the continental breakfast for free at certain periods). Employees are active listening and try to do their best in case of problems. The only negative point is that Croydon is far from the London City centre : commuting is 1.5 hour (average). So the hotel is fine, savvy but time consuming for transportation. You can't get everything in London.

When I stumbled across this hotel, I was a bit apprehensive as it was £60 for a saturday night in the school holidays in Central London. The hotel itself it's really nice, big spacious rooms, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Underground parking was great, no fear someone would steal our car during the night. Overall very impressed for the money and a really nice hotel, will definitely be staying here next time we're in London.

There is a mosque other side of the road, so best place to stay for Muslims also, Asian foods are walking distance, May be a bit problem with absolute Halal cooked Breakfast in the hotel restaurant, however bread + butter + coffee is great!

Stay was comfortable and staff is friendly. Public transport from this location is quite good; as 24 hr bus service is there. Recommend to stay at this place. Was with family and would prefer to stay again at Best Western.

The hotel itself was great. The rooms were clean and all the facilties were great. The staff were very pleasent and helpful. Traveling London was a bit hard as you need two trains. If you need to do work in the area a great option. Parking is available and bar and resturant. plenty of buses to take to the station

I have now stayed at this hotel on 4 different occasions and not once have I been dissatisfied the staff, location and quality of the hotel far out rank any hotel I have stayed in before and I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

The room looked great and everything was neatly put together. The only thing that may be an issue is that it can be extremely hot at night when trying to sleep even with the electronic fan on. However, that may be because I chose to book in on the hottest day of the year so far lol. Checking in and out was quick and straight forward. Excellent service at the front desk. Great place to stay the night. Not much negative to say about this place at all.

I attended a party in Croydon needed a hotel with comfort for the night, read the reviews and had mixed feelings, I decided it was a good location and near to the station.. Well so glad I stayed here it met high standards and above, by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in and I'm a regular traveller, rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, bar on site with reasonable prices.. The only draw back no shops nearby it's a bit of a walk to the high street. So glad I choose this place as I usually stay in Ibis which is just next door, very good prices..

They promised us a cot. We even got an email confirming this. We never got the cot. Toddler had to sleep on bed! But the bed was only a double bed, not made for three people to sleep on. Terrible service, we let the reception know the cot was missing and they said someone would send it. Then kept us waiting for over an hour to tell us we wouldn't be getting one.(past midnight by this time) We could have bought one with us if we knew this or gone elsewhere, where they can accommodate a bigger bed or a cot. Not great for families unless you want to book two rooms and sleep separately on your getaway!

A lovely stay, friendly staff and would recommend. Hope to visit again soon On entering the room you could see and smell the cleanliness. Totally surprised that there was a microwave and fridge in the room as didn't notice at the time of booking which was a bonus! There was a double bed and a single bed in the room of which the double bed was extra comfy. Great size TV, air con that wasn't too confusing to operate, very clean bathroom with all that was needed for a great overnight stay. The hotel is located off the main road which was peaceful. First time visiting this chain of hotels and will be sure to visit again Only downside that there was only 1 plate, 1 spoon and no paper towels in the kitchen area, luckily I'm a lady who has cutlery in my handbag (don't ask lol)

Stayed in business with 16 colleagues . Hotel itself was modern well decorated and clean . The room I had was spacious with large king size and single bed . The bathroom was well equipped with a good shower , there was a hairdryer wired in there but wasn't the best not the traditional hairdryer you would expect more like a pipe they blew out warm air . Plenty of hanging space and sockets including some by the bed which is great when charging mobile phone overnight . However there was no socket anywhere near the mirror which made styling hair very difficult . There was a sink and cooker in the room but I couldnt see any plates cutlery and no table to eat any meal you may prepare but a different touch . There was air con in the room which was good and a large flat screen TV . There was no iron In room but was available in reception . Room included a safe . Staff were friendly and helpful . The thing that made me rate only as average rather than good was due to the following : when our group booked we opted to include evening meal . We were sent a set menu to order from which wasn't over exciting but ok and told we must order in advance and we had no option other than set menu . We duly submitted our order then were told there were too many of us to do our options And we would all have to have the same which is ridiculous as we had some dietary requirements , vegetarians etc in the group. We were also told we could not sit together . Eventually after a lot of messages back and forth we were finally ‘allowed ‘ to have the options we ordered . On the day we stayed when the meals arrived they were very poor quality and disappointing. The lasagne looked like the ones for a pound from Iceland and you could tell it had just been tipped from its container , was very small and had no garnish or no accompanying garlic bread. The chicken and roasted potatoes was bland and dry and the potatoes were tinned new potatoes that had been put in the oven . Fish with fish and chips was cheap and hard . Two of my colleagues who did get some salad with their orders found flies on the iceberg lettuce . Deserts were also bland and uninspiring . We also had breakfast the following morning there was the option to order a plated full English breakfast or chose from the continental section, choice was limited in this section but was plenty of tea coffee in two but no cold drink options . The four that was available though was nice and my colleagues enjoyed the cooked breakfast although one had to send back as had no bacon . It is a pity the food and the issues with Pre ordering spoilt what is otherwise a lovely hotel .

We booked this apartment hotel as we were traveling with 2 kids. Was much satisfied with the spacious room which had a small kitchenette. The bathroom was very clean.The staff was very helpful. Will surely recommend!!

The Chef Davide is very nice and his cuisine is delicious... he is very gentle to customers and he meets others' requests. Me, for exemple, I couldn't eat many dishes and he gave me the possibility to choose about others dishes like pizza, fish and pasta. Very kind person

Amazing value for money. I have to say the room was very spacious, fitted with a fridge and even an owen. Bathroom was clean and at high standard. There is really hard to point something out. Maybe the fact the reception and eating space is basically in the same lobby.

My first ever stay with Best Western and certainly a pleasurable experience. Lovely surroundings and extremely pleasant and receptive staff. It was also the best price plus exellent value for money available in the area and definitely better room quality than a more popular hotel that we booked a few days later!

The decor of room & amenities was excellent, the staff were polite & professional, also helpful when I needed help with the air conditioning. I'd recommend it & look forward to staying here again. Good Value for money

the hotel located down a quiet side street. next to all the buses for Croydon, so ideally situated.The decor was lovely and a big comfortable bed, with kitchen sink, fridge,kettle tea and coffee provided.

My partner and I treated ourselves to a spa and then spent a few nights at BW Aparhotel...Our stay was short and sweet! The room was spotless and the service was good. Would definitely recommend. Unfortunately an accident nearby took place on the day of our arrival, so the road was blocked, causing quite a bit of disruption. Otherwise a really lovely stay...

I stayed here on Sunday 7th April 2019 and can tell you this is by far the best hotel in Croydon, a hidden Gem I'm glad I discovered, no other hotel in Croydon gets such good consistant, reviews plus very few hotels actually look like the pictures they advertise theres are true to form. Trust me you won't be disappointed will definitely be returning.

I loved the room especially with a kitchenette which makes it exceptionally great. I went out to local shops got some dinner and breakfast and heated in the room. I'd stay over and over as long as I need to visit and stay Croydon. Very good service.. I arrived an hour earlier and I was checked in and they gie you all the information and services. Really excellent spot!!

Dropped in for a pizza and a beer 26 March 19. I have stayed in the Ibis 200m away for over six weeks, just wish I'd booked this place! The staff are superb; especially the evening manager, and the food all be it pizza was the best I have had in ages! Stone baked style at an average price of £7. All in all first class

I have stayed in many hotels but i must say this hotel has great staff working there especially Michela, Working in a 5 star hotel myself as a Operations Manager i can see that she is great asset to the hotel

This hotel in Croydon (near Mayday Hospital) is very well run. Not only does it have spacious, clean and well decorated en-suite guest rooms, there is also built in a mini kitchen. This latter facility means that you are able to cook your own food, if necessary. Also there is on site a pizza restaurant (small) and a well stocked bar. Room service is superb, as are the internet connections via wifi in each room. The staff are available 24/7 to meet every need.

A relatively new hotel with a rather un-inspiring exterior. The interior of the hotel is excellent as it is a fairly new build. The rooms and great and so are the amenities. The staff are friendly and always willing to help.

The night stay was great, the room was clean, very well kept and modern. We just needed some where to rest for the night, and that is what we did The roast chicken dinner was cooked well and again just what we needed

Stayed for one night and was very satisfied with the room itself; the bed was incredibly comfortable, everything was clean and in good working order. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the vertiginous slope down to the underground car-park; which was equally if not more unnerving on the way back up, as you have to stop to feed your ticket into a machine. Luckily my car has recently had a new clutch fitted... The receptionist was really helpful when I asked the best route to Heathrow; printing out detailed directions for me.

Stayed at this hotel with work for a week and wouldn't recommend. Hotel rooms only heating is via an air conditioning unit which is so loud its impossible to sleep with it on. When you return to your room it takes nearly an hour to warm up meaning you need to sit in your room with a coat. Breakfast was average

This January I Stayed in this hotel for three nights with my family. We had an event to attend in Croydon. The hotel is extremely Confotrable , clean and its rooms are well arranged. Location is good with good car park. If at anytime I intend to visit Croyfon , for sure I will stsy in it. Well recommended. Thanks

Good clean room with fridge and microwave etc. A view of a garden out the back. It was quite hard to find it when I went due to a road closure but that isnt the fault of the hotel. Convenient location, easy walking distance of food places. I cant remember for sure but I think there was a charge for the car park which I wasnt expecting. All good though, nice and modern.

My fiancée and daughters stayed for the night, booking in before for son and girlfriends baby shower. The hotel is very clean, well lit and pleasant. The room, a ground floor one, was a very pleasant surprise, four single beds up a few steps, to the left after a few paces passing the shower/toilet along from the front door. Recently refurbished and done very well in my opinion. The room was well lit and air-conditioned. Though you would have thought the inclusion of a USB or two wouldn't go amiss. An evening meal, lovely and not at all expensive; soft drinks on the hand, were to say the least; bottom of the purse rippingly so! Breakfast. Ordered with the fee for the nights stay, Full English, was argued over by the staff; who absolutely insisted that it has to be paid for! Even when showed the email confirmation stating that it had been previously paid in full! An unsatisfactory continental breakfast later and check out.

Booked to stay in this hotel in Croydon, arrived at 2045 to be left standing at reception for some time despite two staff members seeing me, no apologies when one eventually booked me in. I found the staff very unfriendly, not one smiled and every thing seemed to me that I was disturbing them. The room was OK and quiet but the parking is a night mare. Now not a fan of Best Western Hotels and will certainly not be booking with them again.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the kitchenette is an added bonus for families travelling with kids. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The only downside we faced was with the housekeeping staff who left the rim of a dustbin on top of our suitcase and on more than one occasion, failed to wash the cups. The hotel is at a walking distance from a couple of bus stops. Monica, from the front desk was extremely helpful at all times.

Stayed here and travelled into London every day. Lovely warm room, spotlessly clean. Kettle, cups, tea & coffee supplied. Microwave & fridge amazing idea! Breakfast we tryed both English and continental buffet. English was huge! Perfect start to a days sight seeing. Staff were lovely, helpful & polite. Can find no fault at all. Will be returning

Modest hotel in general, but I can see huge opportunity for improvements (breakfast and wifi) If you need connection for your work, definitely find another hotel. Staff was very polite and friendly...

I had an appointment at Croydon university hospital and this hotel was ideal as literally across the road The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was modern clean and comfortable It included a little kitchen space with fridge and microwave! I would definitely recommend

I visited this hotel for a week when I was working at Croydon Hospital. It is the perfect location for it, a couple of minutes walk to my destination. Rooms are not big but spacious enough and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and loved having a smart TV to connect to Netflix (remember to logout when you leave, my coworker had someone Netflix's at his room) The continental breakfast options were good. Hot drinks, juices, toast, freshly baked mini croissants and pain au chocolate and also fruit. The restaurant makes a lovely pizza. There are not many choices for dinner but price was reasonable even as room service if you're feeling like eating in. If not, the high street is around 20-30min walk with plenty of options. Some closer small places too. My only complaint was about the cleaning. When I checked in there were suspicious brown/red marks on the bathroom walls so I had to call for a cleaner. The next day again I found a set of used false eyelashes sticking to the phone. Staff was helpful and apologized. In summary, good rooms, comfy bed, lovely staff and good breakfast. I will definitely stay here again when working at the area and will recommend it to my colleagues.

I wouldn't stop here again due to the price as it is not reflective of the quality of accommodation and as such have to rate it based on this. If this was marketed at a bedsit / hostel and around half the price I would stay here again with friends and it would get a 5. The furniture / decoration / cooking facilities etc are all very cheap. The hotel staff are not attentive and verging on rude (I had to ask the receptionist to stop his social conversation with a colleague to check me in). The bar / restaurant feels like that of a hostel on the Continent. The room was no throughly cleaned.

Was looking for a reasonable priced hotel close to city . Which would be clean, safe and comfortable. This hotel ticked all these boxes . For the price it is very good . Breakfast also for the price was very good considering its on London .

We stayed here twice in transit between UK and Australia. The hotel has been recently refurbished and is of a high standard. The rooms are comfortable (very good beds) and each has a microwave, fridge, sink etc., which is handy. Secure parking beneath the hotel is very good, with lift access directly to all floors. Staff are obliging and friendly - we had a few small issues which were rectified immediately, and with apologies. The breakfast (served to the side of the lobby area) is plentiful and caters for most people's tastes. The location suited us well, but there are no restaurants in the immediate area. We were happy to walk quite a distance to find a few places, but others might find this an issue. The only criticism I'd have is that the room doors have heavy hinges so that guests either have to slam them (disturbs sleepers) or the locks don't engage and an audible beep begins, which also disturbs sleepers. Minor complaint, otherwise highly recommended.

We arrived on the 18th of August there were 2 adults and 3 children. We stayed in a ground floor quadruple room with 4 single beds in it, where fab as the children could sleep top and tail as one was only aged 2. The beds were very comfortable, there was a fridge and a microwave which was fab for the youngest child's bed time bottle. There air con was fab but we did fall asleep with it on n woke up cold (our fault ??). We didn't have breakfast there as we left for London quite early so can't comment on the food. Shower was fab n really powerful and Easy to get to the correct temperature. There is also a hair dryer towels and bodywash shampoo and soaps is the bathroom. There is a tesco express about 5 minute walk away. Also bus stop not to far away. Car park was under the hotel and at 7 pound for 24 hours is reasonable. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes. Would we stay here again? Yes we would

Nice location if you are doing your business or visit in Croydon area. The hotel offers parking facility which is reasonably charged at £7 for every 24 hours. They serve continental and full English breakfast at a reasonable price too. We had the continental breakfast and found that very nice. We booked a 3-bed room which was of reasonable size. Room is clean and has air-con which is essential in a very hot summer in London, bed is comfortable. There are also a microwave and a fridge in the room which is very convenient for guests who want to eat something hot in the room instead of ordering room service. The nighbourhood is quiet and safe. We like this hotel and will certainly stay here again when we come to Croydon.

I stayed here for two night as I had an appointment at Croyden hospital. The hotel is very close to the hospital. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable and I had no complaints. Arrived on a Sunday evening to find the dining room does not open on a Sunday. Meals are served in the reception area which is very busy . The meals were not good and could not recommend them. It did not help having a lady stand beside our table brushing her hair while her son picked his nose...discussing . One of the waitress was scratching her head . I did not enjoy anything to eat in this hotel. Hopefully I will not have to return.

Spend 19 weeks working in Croydon, staying in various properties and this was by far and away the best of the bunch, great rooms and friendly staff. On site parking and nice restaurant bar, with cooking facility's in the room

Stayed here for 3 days on a group tour. The room and restroom were clean and perfect for our short stay. The staff was nice, helpful and accommodating to our group of 20 especially during our scheduled breakfast time. The location is not ideal as it takes all forms of public transportation to get to the center of town (about an hour to city center). But in overall, great hotel and staff.

When we arrived we found our room as they said! It was nice and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was whilst read the booklet they have in the room it says out your spare key in the slot so that you can charge your electronics while not in the room and also to keep the a/c on...we did that one morning and when we got back to our room it was hot because the room cleaner took it out of the slot!! We called the front desk and he said oh Im sorry someone should have told you that they do that! If their manual says leave it then I feel like they need to leave it or change what the book says! He made a note and they never took it out again.

We needed an hotel close to Croydon hospital and we were lucky to find this amazing little hotel. What it lacks in size is made up for by the quality of the staff and the amenities offered. The hotel has been open a year and the reception area is pristine. From check in to checking out we were greeted by professional and well trained staff. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. A big bonus was underground secure parking at £7 per night. The room was comfortable with a small kitchen, large wall mounted smart TV on which to watch the football in bed, many sockets and a spacious shower cubicle in the bathroom. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked for our evening meal. There is a small bar area. The Pizza we took to our room was hot and had plenty of flavour. The "Full English" breakfast was well cooked,beautifully presented and a very reasonable price.. There were plenty of fillings on offer for my omelette. The "Continental" option was varied (including gluten free) and replenished often. Great coffee. Additionally, "Breakfast to Go" was available for early check out. This hotel may be smaller than most in the area but it sets a very high standard in guest care. .

Stayed for 2 nights. On checking in gave us a triple room instead of a double. Said they were fully booked but managed to change rooms. Paid for a breakfast rate, but told both mornings we hadn't got breakfast and had to pay extra and then when I showed them the booking, said it was only continental so had to pay more for full English twice. Breakfast was ok, but had to order the full English and wait. Room was clean though, although some staff were a bit abrupt. Not sure I'd be in a hurry to stay again

Parking at the hotel is a total nightmare. Bedroom was clean and tidy good aircon. Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was large and a descent shower. The drain cover in shower was not fixed down though. Breakfast was a bit manic 3 coach loads not enough staff replenishing the food. Still descent hotel.

Upon our arrival,we were greeted and checked in by a young woman,who was very accommodating,professional.There were many restaurants,small shops and a shopping district within walking distance or a short ride away on public transit

We arrived quite late at this hotel as we had driven up from Preston to visit our friends who lived there. From the photos online I thought it would be a quirky little hotel but when we walked in the reception area was very modern! It was a small area with a mini restaurant to the right of the reception desk. None of the bedrooms are on the ground floor which is nice, the bedroom we had was quirky (see attached photos) and the bathroom was bigger then I thought it might be. The reception staff were nice and the breakfast was lovely. We stayed 2 nights and only had it on the first morning but it was nice, we had a continental breakfast so I couldn't let you know about the fried food. As for the price I used my BW points to pay (32000) and I would say it was worth it. It costs about £7 to use their car park but you then get to park it out of the way of the street under the hotel. All in all a nice little visit. Would stay again.

Is great place as a base for the South of London. Rooms are good with a comfy bed, smart tv, micro wave and fridge. Pizza was great although was disappointed that the rotisserie chicken was not on as it was great last time I stayed fingers crossed for next time.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the receptionist he took a few details a deposit and asssigned us to our room. The room was "Very Clean" and fully equiped, which also provides a convectional oven and a fridge/freezer. The hotel provides a well served restaurant, the pizzas are stone baked, and the chicken is cooked tastfully on a rotisserie, with beautifully roasted potatoes. An unusually good, outstanding young cheft and a well organized, professional waitress, to help the meal come to a plesant satisfaction. The first night sleep, very comfortable pillows and matress perfect. Full english breakfast was very well cooked and the continental was always fully stocked. We would like to thank Leo and his team for the Invaluable stay!

I booked this hotel through booking.com and was pleasantly suprised on arrival. A smart looking new or refurbished build just off the main london road. Underground parking was availalble though at a cost of £8 per night which for london is cheap. The reception was moderna nd spotless and i was greated by a lovely receptionist who could've have been more helpful - Name was Kirsty. After booking in , i went to my room which again was spotless though not sure i liked the yellow and blue theme! free internet all night was great and room facilities just perfect. I was going to eat out but persauded to eat at the hotel so opted for a pizza.again wasnt overpriced and very tasty. I had a few drinks (though no orange and lemonade) so had to have just lemonade. After a decent nights sleep i went for breakfase which was fresh and plentyful. i booked out by Mihaela who was from poland and extremely lovely and efficient - couldnt have done more and very quick............ off to the car and out in london.............................a perfect hotel and a gem to find , cheers Alan

We choose this hotel as it was close to the hospital. The reception staff were excellent. The room was big, clean and well equipped. The shower was good too. There was plenty of tea and coffee, a fridge and a multi cooker too. The pizza restaurant was very good too.It is around a fifteen minute walk to West Croydon station, there are plenty of buses.

The bedroom was designed really well, large, very clean, spacious and relaxing. The professionalism and kindness of the staff was very much appreciated. The breakfast tasted lovely and was extremely good value.

We stayed at hotel while our daughter was in hospital over the road. This is a very nice hotel with helpful staff. Great value food served in restaurant. Staying at the hotel made our difficult time so much more bearable. The rooms are very comfortable.

I needed to stay at this hotel due to work commitments over the last couple of weeks. On 2 occasions so far, I was unable to get an affordable room via the usual hotel websites but was able to obtain a very good rate on calling the hotel direct. The reception and serving staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you welcome. A slightly newer hotel with very good room specifications.

Stayed here twice in the last few months - large spotlessly clean room with bonus of fridge and microwave - great price and some of the best pizzas you will eat cooked fresh in the on site pizza oven. Underground parking is extra £7.00 a day. Didn't have breakfasts so can't comment on quality. Reception is utilitarian but clean. Only drawback for us was that room 101 didn't have opening windows and although air conditioning was great could feel a little stuffy. Other than this would recommend as great value for money.

We had a good experience. Nice and very kind staff. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean. The Breakfast was good too. The hotel has a good access and it is easy to find. So everything was good.

Very pleasant accommodation. Comfortable clean and well decorated rooms. Nice to have secure parking as well. Restaurant has a limited choice on the menu but available options were excellent value for money and well prepared and presented.

When I mentioned at check-in that my husband is nowadays having difficulty getting in and out of baths the receptinist, full of concern, switched us to a disability-adapted room on the ground floor. We are grateful for her consideration and certainly found it an interesting experience. The shower base flush with the bathroom floor is obviously just what wheelchair users need but was also fine for us. However we were a bit flummoxed by the complete absence of hoerizontal surfaces on which to park spongebags, etc.; I should have thought that wheelchair users need these just as much as the rest of us. In general, I suggest that when customers ask about the presence of a walk-in shower, they are not asking for something wheelchair-compatible - merely for something which is in a cubicle rather than suspended over a bathtub! The other tiny detail which irritated us was the way coathangers from the hanging space kept getting caught in the door every time we left the room. We quickly learnt to manage this - but felt we shouldn't have to. The trouble is that , we suspect, this design flaw is replicated in every other room. So, a little more attention to detail would not go amiss. However, our stay was comfortable and all the staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

I discovered this property last minute. I needed to be in London for work and came across it. The hotel has everything and more people need. Almost a home from home in fairness. Bathroom excellent. Staff excellent. Location fine. Absolutely no problems. They even have a happy hour at the bar! Didn't have breakfast as had connections to make. I will definitely return and have decided to make this property my base when in London. The Wi-Fi is excelle t by hotel standards. Well done team.

Rooms fitted with hard floors and a kitchen sink! The room was freezing cold and I had to ask someone to turn the wall mounted air conditioner on to heat. The evening menu consisted of mostly pizza with sandwiches provided as room service at £5 each. I thought I would have a desert which was limited to ice cream at £4 a portion. I just couldn't bring myself to ask how many dolops that would have bought and I headed off for an early night. Breakfast was initially denied as I had not paid for it, so I got out the receipt to prove that I had paid £6.95 after all so I ordered a full English. That turned out to be another £2 so I settled for toast. That's pretty expensive toast you know!!! If this is the Best, Western has to offer, then I'm seriously disappointed! Anyone no what the plus refers to in Best Weston Plus? My experience is more like Best Weston minus! Maybe the plus is that everything is extra? You want a heated room in January? Plus that cost? Breakfast? Plus that too etc etc.

Booked last minute and weary at first due to the low price.However after reading loads of brilliant reviews I definitely had to check it out for myself. I was pleasantly surprised at what was in offer for the price. Room was Fun and Funky. Loved that we had a little kitchen area with fridge and microwave. What a great surprise that was. Lovely bathroom with hairdryer. And the bed.... So comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at the hotel as we were watching a football match at Crystal Palace. Fantastic hotel, from the moment we walked through the door, we didn't have any problems. The lady on Reception, sorry cannt remember her name, but I do remember she had trainee on her badge, was very courteous and informative. The room was absolutely spotless as was all areas of the hotel. The continental breakfast was sufficient for our needs. We would have no hesitation in returning to the hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a great stay

Stayed in a hotel next door but entered for dinner as their restaurant was recommended to us. Nice thin crust pizza, real Italian recipe I think, good price also. Quite small lobby/restaurant area, not too many tables.

Arrived after 520km drive from Netherlands later than expected as Eurotunnel delayed. Went to place car in car park and told abruptly by person on other end of intercom 'car parks full'. Buzzed Reception again, same reply 'car parks full'. Leave car and go into reception to be told car park is on a first come first serve. I asked them to check my booking notes. Upon checking my reservation it clearly states 'car parking MUST be available on arrival'. I even phoned the hotel in advance and was not at any point informed that parking is limited. After driving in circles I was lucky to find a space 5 minutes walk from hotel that I could park in, but had to get up extra early the next morning to move my so I didn't get a ticket. Not a great start as I really needed a good sleep and could have done without an early start. Room decor is colourful (but looks tacky). Beds are not the worst but don't expect a luxurious sleep. The mattress topper is very thin. The laminate floor is basic and very cold underfoot.cheap if not wearing shoes. Dropped my wallet on the floor near the bed. Bent down to pick it up and noticed fluff, loads of fluff under the beds. Clearly not been cleaned properly in a while. Some unidentified splooge marks on furniture. Place could do with a proper clean, it felt rushed. Also a long female hair attached to the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom. The Bulb in the lamp on desk was blown and what looked like a couple of days worth of dust on the tea and coffee tray. Positives, bathroom is clean (except hair), quiet hotel but awful location. Would I stay here again? No, I think I'd rather sleep on my mates floor, which was the alternative, and an offer I regret not taking up.

Excellent facilities and very good value for money. The staff are courteous, very helpful and professional. Very useful as a location for visiting London in that there is an excellent train service from Croydon main line to London. The hotel is also situated on excellent bus routes.

I rarely have a complaint about a hotel and I have stayed in many both in the U.K. and abroad but with this one I will make an exception. This hotel was booked through booking.com by a friend on my behalf and paid for by PayPal. When we arrived on the Monday we were informed that the booking had not been paid for and that we would have to pay. I was not pleased but paid by card. The matter was raised with the hotel manager and we were assured that the problem would be sorted by Friday the day we were to leave. We were told the problem was between booking.com and the hotel. Friday arrived and we were told that a refund had been made to an account which was not mine and we assumed that it was my friends. Why the refund was not made to my card still remains a complete mystery to me. Upon checking with my friend the refund was not made to his account. He contacted the hotel and they were not interested he was told to contact booking.com. This attitude is not acceptable, but typical, they had been paid and could not care less. Booking.com on the other had were great all they required was proof of payment and they would issue a refund. Unfortunately I now have to wait between 10 and 15 workings days for my money. As for the hotel, the entrance was in disarray due to refurbishment as was the parking area. The parking bays are very tightly packed and great care needs to be taken when manoeuvring. Parking costs £7 per day. Evening meals were limited to either Pizza or a curry. Breakfast was either full English or continental. The room was clean and tidy but I never managed to get the air conditioning to work which is essential in a room with sealed windows. The staff were great and very helpful. However, I will not be staying in this hotel again.

Pleasantly surprised how good this hotel was a definite rival for the likes of Premier Inn and Travel lodge. Location good for getting to work next day, facilities and staff were excellent. had a triple bed room for me and my work colleagues going to a wedding reception that evening, beds were comfy bathroom immaculate we even had a microwave and fridge loved it. Will definitely go back and definitely value for money.

It did the job. Easy parking. Nice staff. The room would be excellent for those who use it to stop over for an interview or work related events. Not really good for leisure if you are planning for staying more than 2 nights or so.

Room was great with comfortable bed and amenities. Room come with a kitchenette and an oven. No stove. Shower water pressure is good. Heater is working fine. Location is about an hour drive to city. 5 mins walk to nearby restaurants or fast food. Overall a good hotel for those want a good rate stay.

This has been the best weekend i have ever had in London. Mihaela the receptionist and her colleges have been very welcoming and patient as I was there with 2 under 5 year olds who are very energetic. The room was very satisfying. Comfortable beds. A sink, smart tv and my personal favorite a fridge and Russell Hobbs Ovenmicrowave. I could choose weather to go down to the restaurant or make some snacks for the kids without breaking the bank account??. I will defiantly stay here again with the whole family and would defiantly stay here again

When my wife told me she'd booked a Best Western at £55 a night I have to be honest I wasn't expecting much. However I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The on-site parking was great, the hotel is well presented and decorated, the staff were lovely and the room was excellent. It's an aparthotel so the room was spacious and had good amenities including a microwave and good sized fridge. The beds were very comfortable with a choice of pillows. The bathroom was very clean and had a shower with very good pressure and nice toiletries. The air con in the room worked well and was easy to use. All in all an absolute bargain and I'd definitely stay here again.

the staff at the hotel were fantastic, never wanted for anything. the room was really nice, lovely décor. the location was not great for me but the staff helped me with cheap taxi's. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

I was so pleased with this accommodation- I've rebooked it twice! If you are in the Croydon/Sutton area for business you can't really beat it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and the little kitchenettes in each room mean you can self cater. The interior decorating is quite strong and in your face but ties in with the local history. Bathrooms are a good size and got better quality fittings than you get with some other hotels in a similar price bracket. Showerhead could be a little more powerful but good sized shower. Everything at the hotel feels very new (apparently it's been open for about 11mths) and exceptionally clean. I've had a great nights sleep each night- very little, if any, noise. If you want something more fancy than a ready meal in your microwave the restaurant/bar downstairs does a really good pizza, although the dining room/lounge/bar area could do with a few dividing walls to separate it from the lobby/reception and maybe some furnishings that make you want to linger over your dinner rather than escape to your room! There is parking on site that you can pay for but of the 3 nights I've stayed there I've managed to find free/unrestricted parking on the roads surrounding the hotel- once literally outside the front door! It's probably the best value hotel accommodation I've found in a very long time and for the quality of the room I'd easily expect to pay £20-30 more a night!

I was disappointed by how unhelpful this hotel was when I had a change of circumstances out of my control which meant I needed to change the date of my booking. I was told that this was not possible and therefore lost £56. I was hoping to still use this hotel but at a slightly later date - I will now be finding somewhere else to stay and will make sure my friends do the same.

This hotel is very close to Croydon Hospital. It is slightly awkward to get to via a one way system and narrow roads. Apart from this, along with a very steep entrance to the car park, it is a lovely hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much for them. The food takes a little time to cook, however it is well worth the wait.

Booked into the Best Western Croydon for a 4 day break visiting our son. He lives in Wandsworth, South London. The commute into London is only around 6.5 miles. A fantastic base for anyone to explore the sights. The hotel has a bright, contemporary feel to it. Very comforable beds, a small kitchen, and beautiful bathroom. Spotlessly clean and both the continental or full english breakfast is fantastic. Under ground parking at £7 a day is a bargain. From the managers Jayesh and Atanu to Dominika and Carmen your every need is taken care of. Would highly recommend your stay here and my family and I will be back. Thank you once again.

Best roast chicken I've ever had, staff friendly, rooms clean and, on google, the person who said it's expensive should think about his life ... We spent £16 for a full roast chicken plus trimings, it is just awesome. Love this hotel

manager and staff have no idea about service, took 40 min to check in and so in helpful Charged my credit card twice due to not knowing what they are doing rooms ok but basic, Food awful, korma salty, bread solid , soup cold (needed to leave longer in microwave) no cooked breakfast, only rock hard rolls and hard dry bread, little ham and check packet cheese, apple juice was pure sugar, best western reply was not thier problem

On arrival we where informed of the £30 deposit to be held on your debit/credit card unfortunately we had not been notified prior to this but we did book through a comparison website (maybe you could update the T&C's with these companies). This deposit is also held for much longer then most hotels who practice this security measure. One of the staff members wasn't very pleasant but after it taking a while to check in we was not surprised with the type of clientele that they had to deal with. Once given our key we used the lift to access our room which absolutely reeked and really needs a good clean! The room itself was very clean and had quite a few extras including air con, smart tv, microwave, cutlery, plates, sink. Also the usual towels ect.. the bed was comfortable. For us though we just did not feel comfortable staying at the hotel so therefore wouldn't return.

Great hotel, lovely clean room, loved the kitchenette style with Combi oven, nice big television, we were allowed a late check out also. Will definitely stay again, lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble and free apples!

Upon arrival there was a little confusion regarding an earlier check in time which at first wasn't going to be allowed but it was quickly sorted. The staff are polite and welcoming. My room was lovely, quite spacious and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had everything we could have needed in our room. I would definitely recommend it and will be using it again if I come back to Croydon.

I have stayed at many hotels and I am always fair with my reviews. I have NEVER had such a bad experience as I did at this hotel. First thing you should note is that upon booking, before getting the key to your room you have to pay the hotel £30.00 on your debit card(returnable 10 (TEN) days after leaving) If you dont have a debit card you have to leave then cash, which they are supposed to return when you leave. Getting my money back was torturous, they denied having it, denied knowing anything about it and it was only after a very heated argument did they "suddenly" remember my deposit. The rooms are filthy, you cannot open a window even the slightest for fresh air. The Wifi is free but definitely not even worth being free, its almost non-existant. The location is awful, its actually not safe to walk those streets after dark. When I stayed there were over 100 teenage foreign students in the hotel, OK kids will be kids, run around the corridors, play with the internal phones and generally make a noise...so what, they are just children. poor show on the teachers for not controlling them, even poorer show by the staff who just did not give a dam despite many guests complaining. The variety of food available is poor, but I will say the Pizza chef is quite outstanding and definitely working in the wrong venue. I can not imagine that I will ever stay there again and have urged my company not to book it for anyone. I have stayed in a few other best westerns and its unfair to berate the whole company as the others have been exceptional. Heath and Safety, environmental health need to take a long hard look at this hotel and the staff who are running it. Best Western as a company need to look closely too. This is probably the worst review I have ever given and I did think long and hard before writing this. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

Absolutely lovely stay very comfortable. Friendly staff and were able to help with anything. Great facilities and very easy to park, beds are super comfortable and very quiet rooms. Had a great stay would definitely use again.

We decided to stay at a hotel for the weekend and the best western croydon was the perfect choice it's super clean and comfortable and has really friendly staff. The room also comes with a microwave and a small kitchen like space which is good for longer stays also.

I stayed here for 2 days and the stay was excellent. Rooms are very neat and clean. Extremely helpful staff. I didn't like the location. That was the reason why I didn't give 5 stars. Croydon is not a very safe town to stay in London.

I was served my Mihaela front desk supervisor her services were out of this world great communication and people skills and very patient and make sure that you are well comfortable and know your way around the hotel

I was check in on 28.09-29.09 for 1 night The personal was very friendly specialy Mihaela that she explain everything that other hotels dont do. The room was big and verry clean I like it they give me infomation about breakfast and dinner

Every aspect of my stay was satisfied and always with a smile from the staff. Comfortable bed, good breakfast choices and a chef who knows how to cook a great pizza. The location is an easy 20 min walk to the train station and suited my requirements. Very professional staff who were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

There isn't a lot to write about this hotel it exceeded expectations in all areas service facilities location. A really well run hotel doing the Best Western brand proud !!!!!! Lovely hotel very new and clean and staffs in hotel are very helpful and attentive.. I was made feel ''Welcome on Check in and did the rooming process very efficiently. The room was spacious and comfortable with nice selection of tea & coffee . A good selection of items to choose from morning breakfast . Easy access to shops and local transports .

Nice accommodations. Doesn't look great outside, but is cool on the inside. Lots of Indian people in suits walking around - these are the owners. Modern room. To have power in the room, you put your key in a slot. Unfortunately, when you leave with your key, the power shuts off - which mean that whatever climate control you set up, you'll have to redo it when you return - this is a tweak i might suggest to the owners. Also, there is a charge for breakfast and an additional charge for parking - though my accommodation detail on priceline said breakfast included and did not mention there was a charge for parking.

Extremely hospitable staff. Comfortable rooms. And the food is excellent as well. Definitely worth your money. There are various restaurants and pubs around. Lots of Indian SriLankan places to eat for people coming from those countries.

I stayed at this hotel almost the entire summer, very clean rooms, the staff was extremely friendly and the commute into central London is less than hour. The rooms are equipped with microwave, refrigerator, flat screen televisions with awesome channels and free WiFi which is very reliable. Very modern I would say. The prices were great as well. On average I paid £50 per night which is awesome. The beds were very comfortable. The area is mostly residential and very safe. The Croydon shopping centre is just up the street and you also have a vast variety of restaurants in the area. Getting to and from Gatwick airport is quick and easy using the train. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel was very nice when I stayed, the hotel is very modern and looks very nice on the inside but the building outside didn't look that nice, you'll be pleasantly surprised if you do decide to stay here. I had a good night sleep and managed to get breakfast nice and early although there was lots of people also getting breakfast meaning it was very busy. Also, the car park hasn't been built yet so you will have to park in the Ibis next door until the car park is finished, this will cost you £7 per night. The shower was warm and the bathroom was very nice. The free wifi was alright. All round I think this hotel was very nice and is highly recommended.

Booked as good deal via Best Western website. States new build, but clearly still building it. Painters actually in on visit. Staff helpful & friendly, great onsite secure underground carpark. Room set out to good finish, although laminate flooring :-( Weird setup as apartment hotel, so mini kitchen in room. No windows to open which is weird and surely a fire risk, air con was rubbish kept cutting out once it thought it brought room to required temperature and not maintaining it. Good WiFi signal, comfy bed. Good 10 minute walk into town with plenty to eat and shop Breakfast a let down as typical continental style which is not ideal for businessmen. Considering location and price, got what paid for.

It's a prison house with lack of oxygen result of Windows not opening. House keeping came every day wasn't satisfied with the cleaning job. Room service is very poor twice we had to wait for our room to be clean receptionist didn't even have the courtesy to offer us tea considering we arrived early on the first day. Lastly one of the things that really frustrated me was not able to sit in the lobby to drink a brevage mainly because it was not purchased in the bar. My family and I had the worst experience and wouldn't go back even if it was the last place on earth

I was there on the 13th April 2017. Booked for 3 people actually we were only 2 people and asked for a price reduction (ok my fault). No way. Furthermore I was asked extra £.30 as a caution found that would have been refounded on the leave on my bank account. The receptionist gave me a receipt, but I am still waiting. Claimed several time the occurrence I have never been refounded nor answered. Shame on you.

Wonderful Experience. Food quality fantastic. Service excellent. Location convenient. Breakfast alright. Maximum comfort in the room. Overall staying was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to others.

Stayed for a night. Free wifi. My room was a triple bed room. Room is big. In-room kitchen sink, microwave, fridge and water boiler. Bed is comfortable and water pressure for shower is good. 5mins walk to Tesco express which is convenient for us to get snacks and drinks. Overall a comfortable and good stay.

Hi,I had one of the best stays in London in East Croydon area , it's very close to Croydon hospital. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Staff are very helpful and the pizza restaurant is very good. They have a good breakfast spread.

Just a one night stay... Plus - comfy bed, nice room, friendly staff. Cons - Microwave and sink provided. But no cutlery, plates or utensils. Might as well have saved themselves the cost of the kitchen! I was treated to a Disabled room (I'm not disabled). These should be avoided if you can. Ground Floor near the eating area, sound travelled along the corridor waking me early. Shower is great for someone in a wheelchair - too low if you are not. Work spaces are limited I suspect, and where they are available they are too high to be comfortable.

Me and my wife stayed here on a Friday night and had a great time. Hotel is modern and contemporary with big comfy beds and fluffy pillows. The hotel was nice and quite even for a Friday night and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

I booked a 2 night stay at this hotel.on the 1st of may 2017 And i was delighted by what i got for my money. The room was spotless. Beds were comfy.Powerful shower. Hair drier built in in the bathroom free toiletries Microwave and fridge in the room which meant we could cater for ourselves which helps to keeps costs down.Complimentary tea and coffee. The staff were polite friendly and very helpful.Especially Simone and Michaela I couldnt recommend this hotel enough for the price i paid.Ameneties minutes from hotel bus service excellent.

Stayed here overnight while on a course in Croydon. The hotel is great and nicely tucked out of the way off a busy main road. There is free parking on the road if you can find a space, but I opted for parking next door at the IBIS for an additional £7. All the staff I encountered were friendly and extremely helpful, directing me to the local shops so I could get a quick dinner. I opted to eat in my room as there was facilities within my room to heat food etc which was great. This would be particularly helpful if you were staying longer than a night and wanted to keep things cheap! There is WIFI but it is only free for the first 24 hours once you signed up to a buffer website. Not sure how much it is thereafter, but the initial free 24 hours was enough for me. The bed was extremely comfortable, with plenty of big fluffy pillows and a nice warm duvet. The window view wasn't the greatest (looking out the back of the hotel to another) but it was certainly quiet so I can't complain and I slept very well. Check out was very quick and efficient and they provided me with my token so I could exit the car park next door! Overall perfect for an overnight stay

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in London. All staff are all so helpful, polite & friendly & greet everyone with a smile. Food is scrumptious every night, rooms & bathrooms perfectly clean. Leaving in a little while & we will be sorry to go. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Excellent, new, top-notch hotel, with very friendly staff. You can find a really nice stay there. All facilities are very good, as well as breakfasts. One disadvantage of the hotel is that is a little bit to far from the city. You have to spend an hour to get to the city, and it costs you more than usually while sleeping in Crystal Palace for example. Hotel is situated in fifth zone. But anyway, I can solemnly recommend it.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel because we visited a Premier League match in the Selhurst Park Stadium. The hotel is brand-new and therefore recommendable. Especially the staff at the front desk is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant located in the hotel lobby serves amzaing pizzas which taste like holiday in Italy because the cooks are Italian. Also the waitress Simona is really nice.

This property is only about 2/3 months old and although at present does not have its own parking (it is being worked on now) this aparthotel is a good find. The staff can not be faulted in their efforts to help and the rooms are well appointed. Mine had a sink and microwave in if needed. The restaurant offers a slightly limited menu at present, but the pizzas which are made in front of you are excellent and can only be recommended. Situated off the main road down a side road access could be an issue, but overall I can only recommend this venture.

Difficult one to review for me. I stay in hotels regularly and there are some positives and negatives to this hotel. The negatives outweighed the positives so I will not stay again. The hotel is freshly renovated. It is clean and modern. Reception were friendly even though it took an age to check in. There is no car park, I was not advised when booking it would be an extra £7. You park on ibis and walk to the hotel. The hotel was more like a hostel. Not many English residents and the food options were poor at best. Pizza and chicken but the chicken had sold out. Bed was really hard, no bath just a shower depending on what you prefer. I woke up to some young people smoking directly out of my window. View was not the best ! Okay if you want a cheap stay in London. Not for me, I didn't feel safe with some of the clientele in the hotel. Barricaded my door before I went to sleep.

I stayed at the Best Western for a weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The postcode given on Booking.com led me astray and I ended up at a not so nice looking guest house. This hotel is located at Dunheved South not West and is directly opposite the Mosque. They don't have parking but if you're lucky you can find a spot on any of the adjacent roads. If not you have to park at your he Ibis hotel next door for a fee of £7. It's located closely to central Croydon and there are many transport links, West Croydon station is 5 minutes away, several bus stops and not too far from a tram stop. The lady at reception was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is newly built so looks very nice. The rooms are decorated in a way that reflects Croydon's history which is a nice touch. The room also has a kitchenette and microwave and a modern bathroom. The only complaint I have were the other residents on my floor who were very noisy in the night. I would definitely stay there again!

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, fantastic rooms. Everything was great. I stayed at Jury's Inn, Holiday Inn, Travelodge and a few more. Nothing compares with this one. Especially the rooms.. One word: amazing

The Best Western Plus London Croydon Aparthotel is a very good option to stay in the south of London!!! The people who are working there are really very friendly and helpful!!! The room is very comfortable and has all the facilities you need!!!
