Best Western Cottage Grove Inn

We stayed here for 3 days during the ice storm. The rooms were nice and clean. However, my husband and myself worked at this hotel 10 years and 2 owners ago. We were displaced that long ago. I went to the front desk to add a night and Molly told me she could not extend because we were not supposed to even be at that property. She could probably tell our situation was dire. I guess what I'm getting at is the way they made me feel. You just don't run your mouth at the front desk about previous employers 12 years later. Jessica ran a much tighter ship when she was the manager. The front desk is always out smoking. You have to wait for them until they feel like helping you. Jessica Kunz would not have let all the stuff I saw happen during the 3 days we were there. That a fact.

A pleasant place to stay. Easy access in and out. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Staff was on the ball-had good suggestions as to where to eat. Great beds - cozy and comfortable - slept great. I'll happily return.

We stayed in Cottage Grove to celebrate a Birthday, i choose this Best Western for convenience. I was thrilled to find a comfortable place to stay tucked in this sorta crowded corner next to I-5. the room was quiet and comfortable, the staff was happy & helpful. Breakfast was superb, and I heard many other guests say the same things at check out. What a great Crew! Well done all!

Very easy to book online. Very efficient & accommodating front desk staff. (I requested a ground floor room which was provided). Well-appointed room. Comfortable bed & pillows. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Quiet, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with a very personable and helpful breakfast room staff person. Safe, well lit parking area and easy access on and off the freeway. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Was clean, had a great pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good with options for everyone. Room was good size and comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend this over any other in this town. Was recommended to us by a friend that lives in the town as the best one.

The staff were friendly. The lodgings were old and it could have been cleaner. The other guests could have been more considerate for those of us trying to sleep during the nighttime hours. I do appreciate the breakfast offered.

This hotel is a normal hotel with some needed fixing. The food for breakfast is not kept hot. The staff that check you in are friendly. I feel the breakfast eating area is too small, but that is the best they can do for what they have.

Was fun to get away from the congestion of the larger cities but had a variety of food, Mexican, barbecue, etc. Felt very safe. I had $2,000 worth of items in the bed of my truck and they were still there in the morning.

This is my go-to place in Cottage Grove. It's always clean, the staff is great, and it's pet-friendly! There is a wonderful grassy area for dogs to stretch out and play The breakfast buffet is good for anyone from vegans to carnivores. I'm always grateful clean laundry facilities!

Check in went very smooth, our room was very clean. We could even see where the couch was cleaned and vacuumed. The staff was all very kind and helpful. Jeremy, the breakfast host made sure everything always full and clean. They offered a variety of items and even extras like chocolate filled bear claws, tortillas and salsa. Before checking out , I asked Molly, the morning registration host, for some extra soap. She brought me some in a container making easy to carry. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable rooms. Price we paid was reasonable. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good location, right off the freeway. Small parking lot with compact spaces though. Good breakfast options. They were the typical ones,scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, danishes, muffins, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee. Small breakfast area with a bad flow pattern though. Felt like you were holding up people or walking over then. Tables filled up fast. Kids enjoyed the pool. Internet had issues connecting at first but resolved quickly. Would definitely recommend and return again.

We just stayed two nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located near several fast food restaurants and right off Interstate 5. You are 18 miles from Eugene and Springfield Oregon. Their breakfast was good with various items. The staff was friendly and nice.

As soon as we walked in you were greeted with hot cocoa with a choice of toppings whipped cream & little marshmallows. We just got done working in the cold weather so this was perfect and just what we needed! On top of that everything was tip top! I would give a 10 across the board easily for this establishment! Caring team with a great atmosphere presented at all times and the choices at breakfast are the most abundant I've seen in any other on top of the quality and care they put into presenting it! I would suggest this hotel to anyone if they were coming through Cottage Grove!

Cottage Grove Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. We had to attend a funeral. And it was also close to everything in town. Plus the Staff was very nice!! .

Usually I am not comfortable in hotels. I am either boiling or it's loud, etc. but seriously, everything was great! The pool and hot tub were nice (everything in working order); the customer service was great; everything was comfortable!

I've stayed at the BW Cottage Grove several times & I've never been disappointed. The hotel is clean & taken care of. The staff is helpful & friendly. The location is perfect for me. The breakfast is an added bonus!

Came to watch Sprint Car Race Final. We like to walk over to the track so that we can have a couple beers with no worry. Room was better than expected. We liked that it had a fridge. Room was quiet. Couch was nice for having our Champaign and snacks...celebrating a birthday.

Very, very nice!! It was super quiet, and the staff was incredibly kind and nice and helpful. We stayed here for seven nights and had great visit even with the hotel being 100% booked the entire time. The staff handled the sell out terrifically. They were very responsive and willing to help in any way. The hot breakfast provided a great start to the day. This hotel has a terrific location close to highway and within walking distance to several chain restaurants. Also stores like Safeway grocery, Walgreens and Walmart are within a mile. Also about 1 mile away, is downtown Cottage Grove with great breweries and restaurants. We were there for the World Athletics Championships (Hayward Field at Univ of Oregon). We were very impressed how the hotel handled a continuous full house that included international guests. We will be back and we will stay here again. When in Cottage Grove, be sure to sneak out to Saginaw Winery just up the highway. It's super relaxing.

When we checked in the front desk person was not friendly nor treated us as a Rewards member. The hotel is in bad need of a total remodel. The breakfast is awful. We would not stay here again. It's more like a motor lodge than a motel and you have people walking by your outside room door when on the first floor making noise and hear people in the hallway from the interior door.

Room was good, had everything you'd expect. Breakfast was OK however staff didn't refill when things ran out, e.g cereals and bread weren't replaced when empty. Good base to explore the covered bridges and surrounding countryside.

Excellent stay on our way to Washington. Front desk gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Go to Stacy's. Room was nice and clean. Very roomy and well maintained. Nice breakfast was included in the morning. We are returning on our way home. Thanks for everything. Dog friendly too.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Rooms were clean and pet friendly, nice quiet evening, breakfast was delicious and they honored the AAA discount. Wifi worked well, room had fridge and great TV. Couldn't have been better!

I want to say the room was clean. We liked the people that worked there. The bed was rock hard and the room was little . The bathroom was very small. I think they charged to much. They did have a faily nice breakfast and hot coffee.

Everything was fine, especially the staff, but we expected more for the price. We feel it should be lowered for what the hotel offers or at least the continental breakfast to be impressive rather than 'sub-par'.The noise from the adjoining room kept waking us throughout the night. I didn't complain since somebody was ill, nobody to blame except the structure itself.

Comfortable beds. Appeared to be clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and. Hot tub before we hit the road. Breakfast was great. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, tortillas, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, a selection of juices and coffee. Would stay again.

At this point in time, we will plan on trying another motel when we come up next year. On arrival, we were greeted and given our keys. Our daughter was with us and we asked that she be put on the same floor as us. We were put on floor 2 she was put on floor 1. Then since we were on the second floor we looked for a luggage cart and there was none to be found. We had to lug our luggage to our room. Thank heavens they had a elevator. We had breakfast the next morning and it was fairly good. I will say one thing, if you like firm beds, you will love them. Neither my husband nor I could sleep well. We both work up with back aches and hip aches, yet our daughter loved her bed.

We stayed at the Best Western in Cottage Grove, OR 2/24-2/27. Overall stay was good. Great location within walking distance to multiple amenities but room #217 was a bit noisy since so close to the onramp & main road. Room was clean, staff was friendly, hot tub was nice and big, continental breakfast was good and appreciated the fact they had non-dairy milk. I think they were just really busy one morning but the only negative would be related to the breakfast. OJ went out, they ran out of creamer and ketchup but once we mentioned to the front desk they had the person in the kitchen try and restock quickly. We ended up needing to leave a day early and they gave us a credit back with I was grateful for.

Really nice property, easy on off the freeway. Quiet room ...we slept so well. We had a uhaul and were travelling between Seattle and the Bay Area. After a stop in Portland to see family we booked (with an plan to start in the early light to get over the mountains in daylight. Cottage Grove was a perfect choice, with Best Western ideal for our needs. It was extremely comfortable, great location, well priced. we could not tell from the map if it was easy on and off but we wanted to be far enough to make the next day simple. SUPER great choice. We chose the Best Western because we wanted clean and comfortable--and they delivered!

This hotel has great staff, clean rooms, fast internet, nice pool and good breakfast. They exceeded my expectations. Check in person noticed I had booked a room that can experience some noise from laundry and the highway, and she changed me to a quieter room. Breakfast was cooked perfect and all staff I talked to were super friendly and helpful. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and I was impressed. I'll be back!

Breakfast was mediocre. Eggs were swimming in water. Apples were the only fruit option. Specifically booked for the hot tub and pool. The pool room had mildew on the walls, hot tub didn't work. Room was dirty. Had several hairs in the bathtub. The whole room was very dusty. Stayed 2 nights and didnt get offered fresh towels or for our room to be made up. When we got back to our room on day 2 our key quit working. Front desk lady was no where to be found at check out.

After a long day of driving, we stopped for gas in Cottage Grove, and discovered this charming BW hotel in easy access to the freeway. We'd planned to drive about 20 minutes further, but decided to check in for the night at the Cottage Grove BW, and were glad we did. The woman who checked us in was warm and friendly, and got us checked into our clean and comfortable room quickly. Everything in the room worked, and our stay was very restful. It was nice to have a self-serve hot breakfast available the next morning, and all met our expectations. We had a quiet, restful stay, and would make this our stopover when coming through the area again.

Conveniently located if the highway 5 and is a short drive to King Estate winery and historic downtown Cottage Grove. Rooms were clean and well stocked with amenities and towels. Free wifi was nice as was the free breakfast in the lobby to get your day started.

We stayed at this Best Western due to location. We were attending a U of O Ducks game. It is only 20 minutes from downtown. The hotel was very clean, good choices for breakfast and easy parking. Staff were very nice and helpful as needed. Cottage Grove is a nice little town with a great downtown area to visit & eat.

All in our stay was good. No signage on the breakfast for when it started. Room was clean and nice. Staff was friendly did not see many of them at all. We stay here again great location. Easy on and Easy off

the people at this motel take the time to make sure you are comfortable very friendly. They take the time when you check in to answer questions you may ask. If you need direction to some place they show you the directions so you do not get lost

The management of this hotel offered exceptional service and care during a challenging family emergency. They worked with my changing schedule and offered compassion and excellent service, extending flexibility in the face of unknown circumstances. The room was peaceful and comfortable and offered me a refuge in a very difficult time. I highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stop and rest. Several restaurants are within walking distance. There is a pool and hot tub and a good 'grab and go' breakfast. It was a refuge for me during a difficult experience. The management deserves an A+

Terrible, dated, smelly and dirty. Not just our room but the entire hotel. The pool has cracked uneven tiles. By the pool we found dried black stuff on the floor and ceiling and a dead cockroach. It would be nice to step into a bathroom and not have to straddle the toilet to close the door. Just left feeling dirty.

I just checked out where was pretty reasonably priced for a couple night stay in Oregon or Washington, and Cottage Grove won. I don't always care where I go; sometimes it's just about going. It worked well enough, but one night would have been enough here, and I wouldn't use it as more than just a place to sleep for a night when passing through again. Check-in was a weird experience - making you call to get someone at the front desk seems wrong. He didn't really seem to be listening to me, and having to order food for the next morning then and there didn't make sense. That food the next morning was bad, too, and I may have micorwaved my hand (but that's a different story). It felt like traveling back in time a year when COVID was just a month or two old. I appreciate doing some things to keep people safe, but let's be realistic here, folks. The hotel itself is old, but refreshed (I wouldn't call it a real remodel). The decor and lighting made it feel darker and dingier than it probably actually was, but the bed was comfortable enough, and the shower was decent. I asked for a high floor, and was given the first floor. Overall, I just didn't fell very welcome, but in reality it's just a pretty average Best Western. Traveling with my children on a road trip, I wanted added safety and I was looking for a hotel with interior entrances. I didn't expect that they would be hard to find in Southern Oregon on I-5. Others that I found were not reasonably priced. I was so happy to find Best Western Cottage Grove Inn. We backtracked 50 miles for it and glad we did. The front desk staff was so friendly and you could tell they were smiling under their masks. Room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here when we are in the area again.

The town itself is a hidden gem. Beautiful parks, and a stocked trout pond. We stopped for just one night and enjoyed the clean rooms, and an open pool. We had a leak in our room, so we reported it but it didn't bother us. The ground keeper is amazing and th staff was super friendly. I wish we planned for more time in this sleepy town.

Front desk staff was rude! I called ahead of time to ask about trailer parking. They confirmed they had it. When we arrived there was a car and a pickup in the spots. These spots can be seen from the front desk and they were too lazy to ask them to park elsewhere. When mentioned they just chuckled about it.

Myself and my family were in town for my mother's funeral. All small things mattered a lot for our stay. They were helpful and caring and made the whole process easy. Definitely recommend for this small beautiful town.

Great hotel between Seattle and LA. New, clean, friendly staff next to a couple of fast food restaurants and a gas station. A great stop on a drive north or south along 5. Need 14 more charters to enter in the review.

We spent one night here. The room was large and comfortable. Warning- the fridge is not turned on, so if you use it turn it on. The place was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy on/off from interstate.

I have stayed at this property several times because even though it is 20 min from Eugene, the price to comfort ratio is phenomenal. It's also a good stopping point midway though any trips I take. Clean room, comfortable bed, good water pressure, and accommodating staff. Near food and a Dutch bros coffee stand. Very consistent between stays.

This hotel is best described as a stop off I-5 to get some sleep. There is nothing special about this hotel. The rooms are dark and dingy. There are no "grounds" to speak of. It's stuck amongst a bunch of road-stop fast food places. No personality. No character. However, the beds are fairly comfortable, as they are at most Best Westerns. And they DO allow dogs. I stayed one night with my dog. Our room was fine. Wifi worked ok. I walked my dog along some bushes on the far side. The hotel was fairly crowded, but it remained surprisingly quiet at night. I DID hear all the folks slamming doors and leaving in the morning, though. Breakfast was extremely small, and tasteless. This is ok for a night, but it is not a place to stay for any extended length of time. This is one of my least favorite BW experiences.

I do have to say you have a very clean beautiful place here in Cottage Grove, OR. This was our first visit here. We enjoyed your pool and jacuzzi. Through all this covid we were glad it was open. I do have to say that your front desk lady I think her name was Marina, tends to be a bit lazy and huffs at you when you ask her anythimg. This will be the reason we will not return. Customer service is your business and when you have people of such being your face its disappointing.

No rooms cleaned. Had to get own towels, coffee, dump own garbage. No service whatsoever with non caring front desk !! Unfortunately had a two night stay booked to tour wine country. Regret the reservation and will never stay here again. Stay away !!

I was needing a room for one night, coming back from a Medical Appt., in Portland! Cottage Grove would be my Half Way Point! Plus I have family here! I really wanted to book a room for the night, as my grandson is learning to swim, and you have a Pool.. But I was Denied.. Thankfully the Village Green did not have this Impossible Hotel Rule! Plus the Deluxe Room at The Village Green was cheaper! Yet Best Western had Online Offers at 69$ a Night, that would not be honored, cheapest room at a 2 night minimum is 134$+tax. I worked in the Hotel Business for years & have never heard of such a thing at a Best Western... Sad..Very Sad! Your Losing Loyal Customers...I am only giving a 3 star for these reasons. I will Emend my Review when the Policy Changes... I do want to Thank Molly for Explaining to me the New Rules per the New Owner.. Molly was very Personable, Professional & Compassionate.. I give her a 10 Star Rating... Kathy in Southern Oregon....

A really great place to stay for exploring the 8? Covered bridges in town! A beautiful small town with tons of charm but close to everything. The hotels have maps for the bridges, worth it to go back in every season!

everything was super except too slow an internet connection for my complex work. Also there should be an internet advisory that I can fill in as a public work station. The lady suring my 5 am checkout was excellent.

Best deal, great rooms, excellent service, fabulous breakfast/restaurant - I joined the rewards club. It was last minute and I have a service dog. they even have a side lawn, large, for dogs! The staff was impeccable and gave me info about the rewards so I joined I was so impressed.

We stayed in Room 202 with the 3 double beds. It looked just like the pictures on the website. The room was clean and spacious considering the 3 beds. Pool and spa were nice. Breakfast was plentiful, hot and fresh. Appreciated that at check in we were asked approx time for breakfast to give staff heads up for supply/demand.

Very happy with our stay here. Rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Brought 3 dogs with us and it was no problem. They only charged one flat pet fee. Staff was very courteous. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is clean and quiet and a good value. I like the location for my business in Cottage Grove. The staff is courteous and attentive. (With one exception being the night clerk on my last night of my four night stay).

This hotel did not look like much from the outside. But staff makes this hotel feel like home. Parking was limited but staff even moved their car to accommodate mine. Rooms are clean. Pool and spa looked amazing!

Good Place to stay, an older property but well kept and maintained. Close to food and fuel. Walmart is less than a mile to the East. Pool is also well maintained. Our Grandkids loved the pool and breakfast serving.

I travel between Olympia WA and Brookings OR regularly, and this is a spectacular place to stop mid-way if I get a late start. Great value too. Beds are great, clean, and good water pressure. Very small property in comparison to the other BW's I've frequented, but it does the job. Worth driving the extra 35 miles from Eugene to stay here.

Stay at Best Western in Cottage Grove was wonderful. Fast, friendly service, and good room rate. Free breakfast was more than just a continental breakfast, as they had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, plus waffles. Of course, they had juices, milk, and all the coffee you could want. Air conditioning in room worked great, and room came with a microwave and mini refrigerator.

A clean,comfortable place to stay near Eugene Or. when you don't want to deal with the Football crowds in town.During football season Eugene turns from a mid-sized university town to an overcrowded mad house-Cottage Grove is a quick 20 minute drive away to escape the insanity

The Hotel is right off I5 and next door to Dutch Bros and Carl Jr. so if you just want a quick Meal on your way in and a quick coffee on your way out, you are in luck. Also Cottage grove has a nice little downtown area with some nice restaurants, the stay here was perfect to explore that as well.

Easy to find, right off the interstate. Friendly staff with good dinner rcommendations. Discount when you use their recommendation. Rooms are clean and comfortable. sometimes difficult to sleep in a different place, but its no problem with BW

My family and I needed a place to stay while we waited to get into our home. The team at Best Western Cottage Grove made our stay amazing. Friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and the facility is clean and taken care of.

Had to switch rooms several times checking in due to dirty bathrooms. When I went to bed and dozed off, a couple ants were crawling across me. Jumped out of bed and saw ants crawling up wall and onto ceiling. Changed clothes and checked out that night. I had to wait until next day to try to get refund since I was told had to be manager who could authorize credit. Also, upon check-in had to give time I wanted breakfast since they don't waste food.

For $125 (taxes), you get a clean, somewhat updated room (but loud AC) & a better-than-average breakfast w/cottage scrambled eggs, 2 kinds of sausage, & make-your own waffle. The exterior & lobby are tired, need updating. Our main complaint was the Democrat debate was on that night w/10 candidates & we wanted to watch some conservative commentary on FOX, but only the left-leaning big networks were available on cable. Evidently, opposing viewpoints are censored at this Best Western.

If you are looking for a gym, no need to go there. However if you want a great, clean room with refrigerator, microwave and a coffee/tea bar, outstanding, courteous staff and a breakfast that rivals any restaurants, you have come to the right place. It does have a swimming pool and spa. The price is very competitive and did I say the beds are best!

Reasonable rates and good location. The clerk that checked us in seemed to be more interested in his paperwork than taking care of carbon-based life forms standing in front of him. The room had two queen beds and was good sized, but ants had moved in over night and were crawling on the toilet and tub. Complimentary breakfast was what you would expect. The woman caring for it did a good job of keeping it stocked with hot food.

Our stay was very pleasant. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. I thought that being so close to the freeway and streets it would be a very noisy facility, quite the contrary. We had a couch to sit on to relax and unwind. Which turned out to be a hide-a-bed. The room had all the amenities and then some. They had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Overall, I would come back to stay again.

This property is dated but well maintained. The bed is very comfortable and linens are nice. The room is fair sized, although the toilet and shower area is very small. Sink is located right inside the door adjacent to the toilet area. Vanity around sink is ample. Dutch Bros and fast food restaurants are within walking distance. Walmart is close by car. There is a laundry room, vending machines and ice on the first floor. There is also a large indoor pool area with spa. Breakfast is served hot every day, included in the price of the stay. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Belgian waffle maker is hot and ready. Fresh fruit, yogurt selections, variety of bread to toast, bagels and small muffins. Outstanding! We will always return to this hotel when visiting family in Cottage Grove.

The entry might be a bit hidden, but the factors of having a couple of fast food places in front and a 24hr Espresso Stand also, make this a great stopover. Super easy to get to from the freeway. Your morning will get a good start with an attentive staff at breakfast.

Great place to stop for the night. You will have to take the Covered Bridges tour while in Cottage grove. Its a great way to see the area. Close to the main highway.This is a well maintain hotel to stay at.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean rooms and hotel. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. In the morning we woke up to a full breakfast. Waffles,eggs and sausage with gravy. And a lot more!

When we travel Best Western is our usual choice for a motel due to their value and that there is normally one very close to where we are at. As usual we had a large clean room. it was quiet and fit our needs well. The night we were there the motel was very full and it caused issues with the internet, and the air conditioner had some issues that were fixed with unplugging and doing a reset, but all in all it was a pleasant stay. Also appreciated the breakfast. It adds value to our stay.

The staff here went above and beyond. When we got stuck in a snowstorm and I5 was closed we stopped here. They were at capacity but gave up a room they had been reserving for staff. Some of their employees couldn't make it in with the weather, so the staff they had were working double shifts to keep the place running. The owner stayed overnight and even made breakfast! The staff couldn't have been more generous under the circumstances and it was a true safe haven for our family. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This was my family's first time staying in this hotel (not the first time staying with Best Western). We stayed 2 nights & 2 days. We enjoyed the atmosphere at this hotel. The continental breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly helpful staff. Great free breakfast. Close to eat out food, Walmart, gas. Easy on & off of I5. Nice indoor pool & hot tub. Only Dominos pizza delivers. Good pizza.Beds were comfy & room was clean.

The breakfast was the best part of the stay. The dining area was well stocked and offered a variety of food. The room was updated and fairly clean. The beds are comfortable. The housekeeping staff spent a lot of time negatively discussing specific rooms and the patrons that were in them which was disturbing. Ill stay again if in the area, but didn't appreciate having to listen to the housekeepers speak poorly of guests.

We made a “spontaneous” decision to stay here when we got caught in a major snowstorm. We figured we'd wait it out for a night and then be on our way in the morning. When we woke up, it was still snowing, the interstate was closed, and to top it off the power was out in the entire town. The hotel was completely full of stranded travelers by this point, and the staff informed everyone that the next night would be on the house because they didn't want people to put themselves in danger trying to get out on the roads. They also offered up whatever food was available and helped the guests shovel out their cars. As far as the hotel itself, it was exactly what you'd expect from a Best Western- nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The staff takes great care of the place and the weary travelers who pass through its doors. Their kindness was a reminder that there are good people in the world, and we were thankful that if we had to get caught in a snowstorm we ended up here. It's also worth noting that this kindness appeared to extend to everyone we met in the town (the gas station for example).

It is one of the best motels I stayed at. The service was excellent and everyone went out of there way to make my stay very pleasant. The room was very clean and my stay was excellent. I would recommend this motel to everyone. The manager, Jessica was very professional and did a good job.

This place was pet friendly, but was super clean and didn't smell like pets. Thank goodness! A great stop. Quiet, safe. Felt totally comfortable walking my dog at 2am in their little grassy area next to the lobby.

Best bed I've slept on at any Best Western. It was high easy to get out of and the pillows were nice and fluffy!! Great breakfast and very doggie friendly. Also a Dutch Brothers Coffee drive through about 100' near the entrance!! Great location.

Great, helpful staff. Clean, cozy rooms.I left a jacket behind and Jessica made sure I got it returned to me. She was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Even my pet friendly one did not smell like pets and I did not see any hair anywhere. My only complaints for this hotel are the super, way too salty eggs.

I was so impressed with the manager. We left on a Saturday and what manager works on a busy weekend and helps all the guests with checkout and anything they need. She did and I was very impressed. Her philosophy is if not for her great employees the hotel could not run so smoothly. Great attitude from management.

This is one of the best Best Westerns we've ever stayed. During our 5 day road trip, we stayed at three BWs and this beat them all by a long shot! Good value, nicely appointed rooms that were very clean, great front desk service, dog friendly inside and out, and a tasty breakfast with meats, potatoes, eggs, and a variety of breads. What's not to like? Definitely a five star!

Perfect spot as we just wanted an overnight and an early start South. Lots of well lit parking. Reception was quick and organized. Gave a good suggestion for dinner about 5 minutes drive plus gave a coupon for restaurant. Room was clean . Only issue was noisy neighbours in hall . Breakfast was ready at 6 am and was better than most Best Western breakfasts

This hotel was just what was needed after a full day of Interstate 5 driving. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quite and clean. And the price was good. Breakfast was filling and adequate. If we come through here again we would definitely stay here again.

This nice stay is the 2nd of our multi-day drive from the SoCal to Seattle. We were greatly impressed with the personal and attentive customer service from the staff. Rooms and facilities are nice, clean and well updated. Room is quiet. I was well rested in the morning. Hot breakfast was simple but had everything I wanted. Price is very competitive in a small town with many competition. Their location is great, with many restaurants nearby. I like their BW Rewards program. As a member I got perks like free bottled water and snacks. They even offer express check-out for member. Do take a few extra minutes to sign up for the BW Rewards program, even if you don't travel for business. The perks are well worth it. The new Best Western has definitely won me over!

Great service, clean room, helpful staff and right off I-5. All was in good shape except for the curtains had some stains. The internet was fast. All of the furnature was in excellent shape. The television was a flat screen with a great clicker. We will return to this motel. They offer popcorn in the evenings.

We booked this on the road coming from Sacramento. We weren't sure if we would get thru the I-5 because of the fires but made it. We booked and arrived around 5 p.m. Front desk was very courteous and friendly and helped us find a place to eat dinner.

Our visit was last minute and the staff was super helpful in getting us a great room at a great price. The girl that helped us check in was actually done with her shift and stayed as the other desk gal was helping another traveler. She was friendly, helpful and apologized for being in "street clothes". The whole experience was great

The Best Western in Cottage Grove was our four and final stay at a BW during our road trip through Oregon and California. We like the chain because we know we're going to find them pretty much everywhere, and the accommodations are clean and comfortable, breakfast is included, and the modest price fits our budget...all of which describes the Cottage Grove location as well. The location is immediately off the freeway, adjacent to all of the town's fast-food restaurants, but the area the hotel is in is not the historic Cottage Grove downtown, where the real character of the town is located. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are what we've come to expect at Best Westerns all over the western U.S., so no surprises there. One suggestion I have would be to stock some English Breakfast tea along with the other flavors of black and herbal teas; the Lipton tea bags provided don't quite cut it when you want a nice brisk cuppa in the morning.

This hotel is pretty nice. Breakfast is pretty good, it is the basic hot breakfast with cereal, yogurt etc. The room is comfortable and the pool and hot tub are very nice. The staff were very friendly, seemed genuinely interested in helping. I recommend this place any time you are in Cottage Grove

Breakfast was the best self-serve breakfast I've had! Very impressed at what we got for the price. I have a general rule to never spend less than $100 for a hotel room but this hotel blew expectations out if the water. Clean comfortable rooms, great price and great breakfast!!

We stayed one night while on a cross-country road trip. The hotel is located off of I-5, but far enough from highway that it was quiet. It's a fairly small place. I saw somewhere that it had recently been renovated. It looked like the interior walls had been freshly painted and the carpets replaced. Our room was spotlessly clean. There are a number of fast food places in the immediate area. A good casual sit-down restaurant, the Vintage Inn, is located across the street. Breakfast area was small but adequate. There were a variety of cold items, and they did have chafing dishs of hot scrambled eggs and breakfast meats. Pretty standard for an included breakfast, but welcome before hitting the road, A little trivia - in the movie “Animal House,” the famous parade scene was filmed on Main Street in Cottage Grove. It looks pretty much the same 40 years later.

The Staff were excellent and the hotel room clean. We really enjoyed the comfortable bed and room. The indoor swimming pool and hot tub were a real treat as they were also clean and we had them to ourselves. Breakfast was always plentiful but wish there were more to choose from. The property is an older property with things in need of repair..ie; doors leading to outside parking lot did not lock. Overall, I would have to give the hotel an excellent review for the professional staff they had but because of the problem with the property the most I could give it ir very good.

Above average breakfast included- biscuits & gravy, meat, eggs, potatoes o'brien. Bathrooms still looked outdated, but still, everything else was quite exceptional for a small town motel. Helpfulness and friendliness of staff and the breakfast offerings were quite a wonderful surprise. Cheaper places in town, but worth the extra bucks.

This hotel is in an easily accessible location. The service was excellent, breakfast was a notch up from the usual, room was clean and comfortable. I prefer a slightly softer bed but still got a decent night's sleep. Would stay here again.

This hotel is awesome! My husband, daughter and I stayed here on May 4 2018. The general manager Jessica is extremely nice and helpful. She seemed to know many guest names by the morning which is something you expect at the Ritz but not at small town hotels. Her staff are all really kind as well. It's a smaller hotel so it's quiet and just off I-5 enough that you don't hear a thing at night but close enough that you're not driving far off the main road. The beds are comfy (firm but soft), room is well kept and clean. There is a fridge, tv and microwave. The best part of this hotel is the hot breakfast. There were make-your-own waffles, make-your-own breakfast burritos (with bacon, salsa and cheese for toppings), yogurt, biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, potato/peppers dish, 4 fruit juices, coffee, 3 types of syrup (we had the boysenberry), milk, fresh bananas, fresh cut cantaloupe, fresh cut oranges, 4 kinds of cereal, and more but I can't remember it all. All very fresh and very hot. Very impressive. The pool is small but that is expected for a small hotel. It is very clean & ventilated so you don't pass out from the chlorine smell. There is a hot tub with handicap accessible chair to both pool and hot tub. I highly recommend staying here for the convenience, the customer service and the breakfast. It also has a Dutch bros coffee stand next door so you can caffeinate with local Oregon brew on your way out of town. Cottage Grove is home to 6 covered bridges as well which makes for a beautiful drive if you're up to it. There are 2 of those bridges near this hotel so we plan to check those out when we leave. The hotel has a map of where the bridges are so ask the front desk.

This is a wonderful place to stay, management and staff are very friendly and helpful. Places to eat close by. Sites all around to visit. Really enjoy Dutch Bros right next door. They serve a good breakfast at hotel and coffee all night long.

Great if you can sleep on a board. This motel gets high marks in many categories....except the bed! Breakfast is excellent, service and cleanliness is fine. But why stay when you can't sleep? Disappointing...We have stayed before and were very satisfied.

The room was good, all staff was pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it was very clean and look great. We will be staying there again when we are back in the area.

Service was fantastic right from check in with Jessica till we left the next morning. We were given the rate that I had found online without even asking for it. This rarely happens as I usually get quoted a much higher rate when I don't reserve with other hotel chains. The hotel is convenient for I-5 travel but you can not hear the highway from the hotel. Like most hotels the walls are a bit thin but all was quiet by 9:30 pm. Jessica was really helpful at check in and made sure we had all we needed. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. We left early in the morning but even at 4:30 am they had hot coffee and tea ready so we took a cup to go. We were too early for the breakfast but they had bananas and packaged breakfasts (eg oatmeal) available. We will definitely use this hotel again next year on our way home from California.

My husband and I are very satisfied with Best Western here in the US and in Europe. I was traveling for a memorial service alone, and this property not only met my expectations but exceeded it! Jessica the Manager greeted me by name every time she saw me, offered 2 bottles of water and a granola bar upon check in as I am a Rewards member. Hot and cold items at breakfast with varied offerings. Room was comfortable and free internet fast. My experience could not have been better. Location right off I 5.

The location is right off I-5. From the moment I stepped foot into the reception area I was warmly greeted and felt cared for. My room was clean and comfortable. I had everything I needed, and as a Rewards member received 2 bottled waters and a granola bar on check in. The breakfast had variety which was included in the rate. I saw several well behaved dogs with owners staying here which is a plus for people traveling with pets. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

The staff and manager here were great. They were personable and called you by name. The hotel was fresh and clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, sausage, eggs, potatoes waffles, a wide variety of pastries, cereals, juice and coffee . I would stay here again.

We come to Cottage Grove 3-4 times a year as we are wine club members at several local vineyards. This hotel is our first choice always for several reasons. The rooms are spacious, clean, and stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. Jessica and her staff are always friendly, well trained in customer service, and happy to help with any request. The full breakfast can't be beat. The food is fresh with lots of choices. If you need to dine out, there are all kinds of restaurants and fast food places nearby. The only drawback is the freeway noise can be a little loud if you are on that side of the hotel. Earplugs solved the problem for us. You can't go wrong staying here.

This motel provides good value, a reasonable compromise between the size and appointments of the rooms and the cost of the stay. The rooms are clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable. The staff is exceptionally helpful and thoughtful! AND, they take pets! The breakfast, as is the case in every motel these days, is factory food. So if you care about your health, eat elsewhere.

We went to rent room on 2/9/2018. Was told we can't rent because of our service animal. Explained ADA law. Clerk Brittany at front desk was not very helpful. Her attitude was condescending and unprofessional. Very uneducated of the ADA law and service animals. If you are disabled traveling with service animal, don't go there!!! Never want go back there again. Go to other town. Will report it to ADA and Best Western HQ customer service. They need to be educated on ADA law.

This is a very traveler friendly hotel. The hotel manager was very professional, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to restaurants and other places of interest.

The room has large and good beds. They fight to prepare a tasteful breakfast. The front staff likes a good and personalized talk. Highway 5 is not a problem, but the surroundings are soulless. In winter, it is a struggle to find the way. Parking entrance is small and lost on a murky intersection. Be prepared for an overwhelming bore if there is a need for a place to eat.

A friend & I stayed here recently & found the staff friendly & the room clean & comfortable. I love Cottage Grove, so many interesting things to see & do. We rode bikes on the Doreen Lake Rail Trail. A fun & scenic ride. The down town area is cool too & we basically rode our bikes all over town from the hotel. Have stayed elsewhere in CG on a different occasion but this was a much nicer choice.

We needed a place to stay while visiting with long time friends. They had a reasonable deal, so we checked them out. The room was very nice, seemed pretty recently updated. They had on site laundry which was helpful for mr. The pool and spa were and awesome addition! I do hope they have fixed the rail to get in and out of the hot tub? It was not welded in, and very loose. If one was to fall getting out, there may be serious injury! The continental breakfast as was the best I had at any stay while in Oregon. I would try them out again.

Freeway close, convenient location to dining and shopping. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and appealing. We were there during the holidays. They decorated the lobby and even had lights in the trees and shrubs outside. We will stay here whenever we are in town.

This is a very nice and clean hotel. We will definitely stay there again. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good. We checked out on Christmas morning and there was a goodie bag filled with all kinds of good stuff left outside our door.

The hotel felt very clean. My room was very comfortable and breakfast was great. It was the least expensive hotel during my trip from California to a Canada and back. I will definitely stay at this hotel if I am ever around the area.

We went to see our newest grandchild. We were here for two night and enjoyed the facilities. The staff were all great and friendly. All were professional and courteous. The GM was top notch, accommodating and very helpful. I think its needs a better entrance as you have to go through the Carl's JR lot to get to it. Room was great, real reasonable pricing. Will definitely go back and stay here.

I took a shower thinking I could use the hair dryer to dry my hair. The hair dryer was broken. Advised the front desk, they said they would fix it while we went to breakfast. sure enough after breakfast there was a new hair dryer in the room. That was fast work.

This is a very nice hotel: the staff was very pleasant, efficient, and accomodating. The breakfast foods were better than most, primarily because they had a wide variety of hot food (not that paper thin "bacon" product you get at other places) and REAL fresh fruit (I've never had better cantelope and strawberries). Good job, BW!

We were greeted by a friendly gal, quickly registered for our room. They even called the day before to inquire about our arrival time so our room would be ready. Rooms were clean and welcoming. They asked us to estimate the time we would come to breakfast so there would be plenty of food, and that it would be fresh. A great amount of thought and planning seemed to be given to serve those staying there very well. Great place to stay.

The place is very nice and clean. Enjoy your stay in this little town in Oregon... A very nice little town along the I-5 Route. Lots of amenities and easy access to fuel and food. There is even a Walmart and Bi-Mart here. If golf is your thing, you can do that as well.

The variety of Breakfast food was great and there was a Silverware option instead of plastic. Staff did a wonderful job keeping dishes full and hot. Pillows were pretty bad so bring your own. Bathroom really needs an upgrade and a little more TLC in the cleaning dept.

BW might just pull this facility's BW name. The carpets look worn; they had to repair an outlet in the lobby; the pool most definitely needs repair. The pool's approach hallway is grim with chipped paint and the falling-away window sills are about to lose their ceramic tiles. Leeda at the front desk was very helpful finding the hidden power strip and handling an accidental double booking. The staff at breakfast kept everything topped up and super clean. We have stayed at much higher quality BWs throughout the western USA.

We stay at this hotel to visit family in Cottage Grove and it's a bonus that they allow dogs. The rooms are clean, and have comfortable beds. The staff we have encountered on each trip have been so friendly and helpful-makes our stay that much more enjoyable.

Coming up on the end of a 3-week road trip, and all we want to do is get a good night's sleep. We stayed on the road too long this day, and checked in latter than we had planned. The check in went so quickly that you would think they were waiting for me to arrive especially. Room was in good shape, and we slept like babies.

One of the best aspects of a decent hotel is to be able to relax on a clean, comfortable bed. The beds at BW Cottage Grove are very comfortable with fluffy duvet, extra-thick mattresses and plenty of pillows. The room is nice, nothing special really. Bathroom is TINY, even for one person, though the sink is in the outer room, which helps. Front desk calls after you've had time to settle in. I don't like the intrusion, but I'm sure most will appreciate the courtesy. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Excellent hot breakfast complete with eggs, potatoes, sausage, gravy, waffles, cereal, pastries, selection of fresh fruit. Easy on/off location from I-5 with plenty of shopping and dining options.

After an 11 day road trip, with 8 different Best Western hotels visited, I have to say Cottage Grove had the best Breakfast bar. Fresh fruit. Biscuits and gravy and much more. Thank you. I'll probably be back.

Booked this room through booking.com but it was the same price as walking through the door, so it didn't count towards my rewards. My stay here was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean. The breakfast was about average but there was a dedicated employee to clean up and help you if needed.

This was a really nice hotel. The rooms have interior corridor access. The room was also very quiet even though it was near a busy street. We could not hear any traffic at all. There is also a indoor pool/hot tub which was great for the chilly afternoon we arrived. Hotel staff take pride in their facility and were very courteous and helpful. There are 2 room that have exterior access for those with special needs and the handicap parking spaces are right in front of those rooms. The breakfast area was very well stocked and very clean. We had fresh strawberries and cantaloupe melon available the day we were there. There is a family restaurant across the street which was easy to get to for dinner. We definitely will stay here again if we are in the area.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Cottage Grove, Oregon. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding -- fresh sliced fruit and southwestern potatoes were delicious! The facility was clean, the beds comfortable, and it was situated in a great location, close to the freeway, restaurants, and a service station was near by.

Our experience at The Best Western Cottage Grove Inn was great. We needed a hotel for one night in the middle of 2 long driving days. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and caring. Breakfast was better than the average hotel at that price range.

We stopped just passing thru Oregon. Very nice rooms. Front desk was helpful for directions and recommendations on restaurants. Value was good. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. Food was hot and ready when we came done. Coffee was good too.

This hotel is shoe-horned in between a bunch of fast food restaurants. It is a step above normal Best Western's primarily due to its staff. They went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. They were sold out but you would never know it. The breakfast was particularly enjoyable as to its variety. Cottage Grove is a bit of a diamond in the rough. It is 20 minutes from Eugene and is known as the "Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon".

We were here overnight for the August '17 eclipse. Our room was spacious and clean, and I am particularly sensitive to bad odors - our room and the hotel in general smelled fresh and clean! The indoor pool was open late, which we appreciated. Since we were getting up early to drive to the eclipse totality path, we would miss the free breakfast. The hotel opened the breakfast room up early (3 a.m.) for all the eclipse chasers, and we were able to get cereal and coffee, etc., and they had little travel bags with an energy bar and a bottle of water for each of us. They even had a couple of eclipse-safe glasses in our room for us. This was one of the most personable hotels we've ever stayed at. They were very good at making their hotel be a positive part of our eclipse experience! Besides all of that, the service was good and the beds were very comfortable, and the location was right next to a freeway, and had food places all around. I would definitely stay here again.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and convenient location off the I-5. I always use this hotel when I come up for my family reunion. In earlier years, I tried another hotel in Cottage Grove, and a Super 8 in Creswell - both of those hotels were of lower quality and service.

This was a very great place to stay. Spent two nights and everything was clean and orderly. The free breakfast was excellent compared to a lot of the ones I've had at other best westerns. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again!!

She'd checked us in the night before, and returned to work in the morning before we'd gotten up and ready for breakfast. Simply amazing to witness her work ethic and customer service skills in action. She is a credit to her employer.

When I went to check in after eight hours of driving, I was very tired. Clerk at check-in made me feel like I was the most important person checking in. I had a rewards membership which he let me know gave me a 10% discount on the room. Also he processed my $20 gift certificate and let me know about express check-out, which would have my receipt slipped under my door the next morning, so that I wouldn't have to go to front desk before checking out. Breakfast included fresh scrabbled eggs, bacon, sausage as well as cereal of waffles for those that wanted them. Room was very clean and done to make visitors feel at home.

Great place to stay, just off the highway. Staff was very helpful and courteous especially Leeda (not sure if spelled correctly). Definitely a stopping place for our road trips to/from California. Breakfast was great, staff was very engaging! I work as a GM for another hotel brand and lived my experience!

A good value place for a stop on the road with family and pets. The staff is really nice and helpful, the breakfast is convenient. Nice to have a pool for the kids to use up some energy. Consistent with my overall positive experiences with Best Western.

Veyr nice hotel. Excellent location. Close to the I-5 but very quiet. Would stay again. The breakfast was very good. There was an excellent variety of fresh fruit and hot breakfast foods. The staff made sure that there ws enough of everything and went around to each table to make sure all was well. Very clean throughout.

We were looking for a hotel that was reasonable under $100 to book as we were traveling. I booked hotel on Best Western site and got immediate room at a reduced rate, walked in less than 10 minutes later and reservations and room was ready

I booked two rooms last minute for our guys staying out of town. The staff went above and beyond making room for our crowd. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hot coffee and breakfast got our guys going! I would highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in/near the area.

Hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway but you don't hear any freeway noise! Was within walking distance to a nice restraunt. Kids really enjoyed having the pool to themselves. The hot tub jets didn't work very well and the breakfast room seemed a little crowded in the morning but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay. We were on our for the Solar eclipse. The staff were very accommodating (breakfast) for their guest who wanted to leave early to find the exact spot they wanted to enjoy a once in life time to event. Thanks again, Best Western

Stayed here on our way to the solar eclipse. Parking was easy (once you get past the Burger King) and check in was easy. A few minutes after we got to our room housekeeping came by...with free eclipse glasses! Nice touch. Beds were comfy and we slept well. Even though breakfast did not officially start until 6:30, we were pleasantly surprised to find cereal, muffins and breads available at 6 am.

Was in Eugene area for the 2017 Eclipse and... although this hotel is less than 20 minutes from Eugene, the price for the night was more than $50 less ! Great deal in a cute little town and I was headed south anyway.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a very friendly staff. Jessica and her team were so very polite and willing to help you in any way. The rooms were very clean and everything worked in the room. And then there was BREAKFAST -- Breakfast was amazing and definitely higher quality compared to other hotels. This was our second visit to the Best Western Cottage Grove as the first experience was quite nice. This second visit was the same! I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at several Best Westerns during our 33 day trip throughout Oregon and Northern California in July 2017. BW Cottage Grove was one of the better ones, particularly for the price. Breakfast choices were varied; the hot food was topped up quickly. The woman who was doing the cooking in an adjoining room seemed to be very proud of her job and it showed in the quality of the food presented. Front desk staff were helpful, particularly since my husband happened to 'forget' my backpack containing our overseas airline tickets, passports, money & credit cards, etc. Lisa picked it up off the trolly and put it behind the desk. I was very grateful to recover my bag - or it would have been a completely different trip! Room was comfortable, nice bedding and pillows.

Maybe it should have a 3+ rating, but TripAdvisor doesn't do that. The front desk gal said that they only had down pillows, she gave us a blanket to wrap around the pillow. The toilet area was clean but pretty cramped. Our room was not so well sound-insulated. Breakfast was the usual BW stuff with instant oatmeal, cold cereal, meal and eggs, baked goods (including raisin bread, always a plus for me.)

This hotel was one of the better BW we have stayed at for the price, quality, comfort and overall experience. Good job. We will use it again on another trip! There were many places to choose from for supper and we found it was easy access off the freeway. Very comfortable room and bed.

If you're simply looking for a very clean, nicely appointed room, then this is a great choice. The hotel looked recently renovated. The check in time is also a little earlier than a lot of hotels so that was a nice surprise especially after driving for 6 hrs. Jessica, the gen. manager got us checked in as soon as we walked through the doors and made sure everything was to our liking. This is a good 1/2 way point if you're heading to NorCal from the Seattle/Tacoma area, so we would definitely stay here again. I liked this Hotel better than the downtown Hilton we stayed at in Eugene OR. The free breakfast for the 6 of us was also a very nice perk.

We had to change our reservation to a day earlier at the last minute. All went smoothly. Staff very friendly and eager to please. Very reasonable rate. Excellent breakfast - eggs, sausage, fresh fruit and much more. Good location next to restaurants and freeway. Some freeway noise, but room was quiet and bed was comfortable.

I don't think we could ever get as good a motel experience as we had at the Best Western in cottage grove! We loved it there! The breakfast was nicer than most Ihops or Dennys. The sweetest and most helpful people. Super comfy beds. Great pool and jacuzzi. Very reasonably priced. Close to everything. I can't think of a single thing that could have been better. Everything was perfect!

Best in town for sure, right off freeway but no noise from the cars. Their front door stayed upen the whole time I was there, it was broke down waiting on parts, so we had flys in the lobby and breakfast area but not to bad. Only downside to the stay was the breakfast is same every day.

Way above my expectations when we drove into little Cottage Grove. The receptionist, Lida, was so nice and helpful that she made our stay here very nice. Our room was clean and quiet. I appreciated the little things in the room, like Dial brand soap in the bath, nice shower head, and a grab bar in the tub/shower. Well thought out. Also breakfast was way more than expected. I have stayed at other BW and they as well as most hotels have the same breakfast. But here, they had real scrambled eggs, and good quality sausage and name brand cereals. Nice to eat the real Raisin Brand.

The small town was crowded with tourists for the Bohemia Mining Days Festival. The Best Western was a nice refuge from all the activity in the area. Nice quiet comfortable room with a much better than average breakfast offering. Hotel staff were particularly knowledgeable about the area.

The BW in Cottage Grove is a wonderful place to stay. The locations is great. We took a drive out to Dorena Lake, it was beautiful. Wonderful breakfast in the mornings, comfortable bed, pool and hot tub and friendly staff.

The Best Western in Cottage Grove is extremely well managed. The staff are super helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is well prepared with fresh strawberries, melons, bananas and raisin bread as delightful extras. Given that this is just off of the interstate (so some traffic noise), I believe it is a good choice for an evening off the road or as a base for exploration of the area.

I travel a lot. This is the first trip that I booked two different Best Western Hotels. Both blew my mind at quality and price. I am very happy and pleased and will look at booking more best westerns in the future.

We were looking for an affordable but nice place to stay for my godson's graduation. This ended up being a great place not too far from the campus in Eugene. Kids loved the pool and breakfasts were just want we needed to start the day off right!

The process of reservations, check in and out were very efficient. Nice staff, clean room, and great breakfast. I think the evening we stayed was sold out, but it didn't seem busy. The staff was very nice. We would stay there again and recommend it.

A friendly, accomodating staff make this BW the place to stay if you are spending a night in Cottage Grove. Location is close to restaurants, ample parking and a good inhouse breakfast. Though the exterior is very plain, the service and atmosphere more than make up for that. Good amenities too - washing machine, snacks, pool. Beds are very comfortable.

Just what is needed while on a road trip! Throughout my travels, I've learned making reservations at the desk sometimes saves you a lot of money. Last night was no exception. As the sun went down, I looked for road signs for hotels. This was right off the highway! Checked online for price; then walked in and asked about a room. I got $40 off the best on-line price (which also included AAA discounts.) While this is a basic hotel that will not win based on updated beauty; it is very clean and the desk attendant was very nice. Besides the basic clean comfortable room; a few nice "extras". - Elevator - luggage rack for use to pack in and out. (Important if taking valuable items on the road) - large rain-type shower head - shower had Dial bath gel & shampoos versus the horrible Best Western soap that leaves a film on your skin. Nice to get back on the road feeling clean! -Fridge and microwave in all rooms - in room coffee and tea - Fairly quiet - choice of fast food in walking distance; and a restaurant across street - flimsy towels, but so what? They do their job. I'd rather have flimsy towels than spend an extra hundred dollars. Good hotel for road trippers.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice pool area that we didn't have time to use. The breakfast was outstanding for a hotel of this type, much better then all the similar hotels that we stayed at in Oregon. Most appreciative of the manager who went out of her way to answer all of our questions and get us directions to where we wanted to go. Exemplary service!

Friendly check in and helpful with a travel issue I had. The breakfast is very good with friendly employees taking care of you. There are local restaurants, gas stations, golf course and a Walmart close to this hotel.

Great Hotel, great food, great staff, terrible parking. Lot lines painted too close to park and have room getting out of vehicle or afraid someone might scrape your car trying to get in or out of their's. I had to park up on a curb in order to get passengers out of the car without scraping the car next to ours.

We booked this at the last minute after a long flight. It was after midnight when we got there and we discovered a very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, with a great shower. Every aspect of our stay here went well. Perfectly maintained hotel with great staff. Can't go wrong here. However entrance to this motel is rather tricky. It has a Karl's Jr out front blocking it's view.

Yeah outside the hotel was very clean and the grounds and parking the staff for checking in were very helpful very helpful with directions on where to eat upon entering the room it was clean the bed was very comfortable have a good night sleep good breakfast in the morning was adequate very hard and staff very helpful at breakfast I was checking to make sure you had what you needed and make sure there was plenty of items out the checkout was very easy very fast and very friendly

Only two things I care about. I often find info about cleanliness but never about mattresses. Hotel employee here told me they got new owners and new mattresses. Wish hotels would put this info up on their websites.

Very nice facility for the price! Conveniently located off highway and felt like a safe area. Very clean, comfortable, grassy area for dog relief, low pet fee and excellent full breakfast included. This Best Western totally met all of my expectations, in fact we stayed here on the trip up to WA and also on the return to CA.

We were staying here for a wedding and while it was cost-effective, it was not great. There were too few towels in the room for 2 people, the smoke alarm went off while we were taking a shower - apparently the steam set it off - and when we called the front desk, were told that "oh yeah, that happens in that room." Also, breakfast was served until 10:00 AM, but they were cleaning things up and putting food away at 9:30; they seemed in a darned big hurry to get rid of us. Very poor customer service.

This was an average hotel. There was nothing special about it other than it was close to the freeway. The rooms were quiet and one could get a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was nothing special. It was basically the same as what one would receive when staying at a Holiday Inn Express. The staff did not recognize me as a rewards member so I am still unsure if I am receiving points for my stay. I was not offered bonus points or a snack.

We stayed one night as we were traveling through the area. The staff was pleasant, the room though a bit tired, was clean and met our needs. There was a nice variety of foods available for breakfast and the breakfast room was very clean as well.

Clean and quiet place; easy on/off from I-5. We chose Cottage Grove over other places because of the many covered bridges and miles of bike trails, mostly separated from the road. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants and groceries. We will return.

Hotel appears to have been remodeled recently (maybe between 1-3 years?) The front desk staff person was super nice and funny. Lobby was small, but so is the hotel. Room was nice, bathroom was a tad small (shower/toilet only, the vanity was in the room). Normally not a problem, but we were travelling with our teenage son, so made it a tad difficult to change clothes as the "bathroom" was so small. Breakfast was really good, I normally don't expect much for a continental breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised. Overall good value and nice accommodations. 20 min south from Eugene.

This hotel staff is FABULOUS! We were greeted with a smile and cheerfulness and that continued through our whole visit. The breakfast bar is wonderful. The hot tub and the pool were clean.The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you to the amazing staff.

Didn't hear a thing from neighboring rooms all night, even the plumbing is noise insulated. Quiet heater and refrigerator too! Nice firm beds and down pillows, sleep quality was great. The lady in charge of the breakfast was very nice and made sure we were happy with the food. Pride in workmanship shows.

On a road trip returning home. Check-in was quick and desk staff very friendly. Room very clean and everything worked. Breakfast selection was very good and food was tasty. Checkout was very quick and staff was again very friendly. Noticed the manager walking around asking guests about the breakfast and any ways to improve. Nice touch.

This is a small unpretentious motel that provided clean, up to date rooms and had a very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was typical for Best Western, the dinning room was clean and the staff was excellent. A little gem. I will be staying here whenever I travel up I-5.

Room was very small, yet still carried the same price as all the other larger rooms. Located right next to the pool and across the hall from vending machines and an exit- we should have know better; very noisy! Best Western travel promotion of $10 travel card for each night is somewhat of a joke, as you don't see the card for several days so can't use on consecutive nights and in two instances, we never received one at all, including from this location.

The room was clean and comfortable! Jessica at the desk was very friendly and made sure we were happy with our room. Breakfast had everything we needed and the food was great. We would come back again!

Love, Love love this hotel, everyone was so nice and professional, especially Dustin and Jessica. I had been to my brothers funeral , and had driven around 600 miles, when we hit a storm, hail and rain, wild winds. My car started acting up and I needed service. Then I saw from the freeway BW, that was it I was spent. I needed a room, I did not have reservation, and Dustin said No Problem. He said it is pretty nasty out there, lets get you all set up. Our room was just what we needed and the breakfast was great the next morning. Thank You Best Western.

Well I just tested the staff patience today. In the breakfast room I upset the glass container of strawberry syrup onto the floor and it exploded in all directions. Red syrup and glass all over floor. Couldn't believe I did that. Staff and management jumped in right away and had it cleaned in no time. They were very gracious accepting my apologies and made me feel at ease throughout this ordeal while I am sure I hindered their schedule of checkouts somewhat. It was a situation that was dealt with great finesse. Thank you for your great service.

The staff if very friendly, and the beds are extremely comfortable. I travel 6 months out of the year for work, and this is one of the better motels I have stayed at. Highly recommend them. If I am in the area again, will be staying here for sure.

I really enjoyed the friendly staff and convenient location of this hotel. When we arrived we realized that we had mistakenly booked the wrong date, but the front desk agent was very helpful and moved our reservation for us without making us feel foolish. The breakfast staff and front office staff were very engaging and informative about their area and the Half Marathon event, which made our conversations with them during breakfast a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through. I didn't have a need for any of the local restaurants and stores as I was only in town for less than 24 hours, but the hotels is located within very close walking distance (like a 1-2 minute walk) to many fast food locations and other little markets for those who are dining alone or on a tight schedule.

Great hotel for the price. Comfy beds and great breakfast. Only $15 for your dog. Recommend requesting room on back side of hotel. Parking lot /street noise make it difficult to sleep. Folks get up and going early here so there was no hot water by 7am. Front desk offered to waive my dog fee as a courtesy for water issue. Much appreciated.

We stayed at this property last week and couldn't be more happy. The staff was absolutely amazing. The desk clerk, Leada, was so friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us. The property itself has everything we needed including a pool, jacuzzi, Business Center and free breakfast plus they're dog friendly. The breakfast was very good. Maria who works in the breakfast area was super friendly. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Had a great room with king size bed, sofa, micro, frig, Wi-Fi, great hot breakfast, indoor pool, quiet, clean, comfortable bed and very affordable. Easy access on/off the I5. The staff was incredibly friendly from the front desk to housekeeping.

This place is too far from Eugene - walls are very thin so you can hear the people in the next room laughing and their conversations - you can hear water running from other rooms - will not be staying for the two nights that were booked

Here on business with the wife and a small dog. The staff, especially Leeda, are super professional and courteous. I inspected the room with my ALS (alternate light source) and could find no "mistakes". My nose (and the dog's) detected no strong cleaners. I heard no complaints from other guests.

In Cottage Grove for memorial service for family member. Several family members stayed in several rooms and used breakfast area for informal afternoon gathering. Staff were most kind and helpful. Recommend this place because of excellent staff service. Rooms quite adequate for our needs.

On a road trip cross country from New York we decided to stay here on our way to Portland. The rooms were nice and clean with very comfortable beds. The hot tub was really nice and we got to get some laundry done as well. All of the staff seemed super friendly. The breakfast in the morning was really great with a variety of things to choose from. Check in and check out were smooth with no problems. If you need a place to stay in the area, this is a great choice!

On a road trip and driving through. Called BW and Justin was the first person I spoke to, he was very friendly and accommodated our needs. Justin was at the counter to check us in and, again, everything went very smooth. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. Hope to come back some day.

This hotel is rated #1 in Cottage Grove for a number of reasons. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent prices. All my needs were satisfied. This was a berth nice place to spend a night on my way through Oregon. Will stay here again in future.

After driving 600 miles to the little town of Cottage Grove. There is not much there. The Best Western is a welcome site. We have stay here several times and Jessica the manager always goes out of here way to make your everything is perfect.

The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the pool and spa were nice. The staff were friendly upon entering. Wifi is great. You can walk to different restaurants and the location is easy to get to because it is right off the freeway.

I was on a road trip, just me and my three boys. The staff were exceptionally nice, the indoor pool was just what the kiddos needed after a day in the car, the breakfast filled us up as needed in the morning. Usually stay at Motel 6 to save money, but felt that the extra expense upgrading to Best Western was worthwhile to feel a little safer, for a better pool and for the breakfast.

Hotel is best around regarding service. Breakfast hours are long enough to allow me to sleep in and then get breakfast. Fast food and other restaurants for lunch and dinner are within walking distance. Hotel location is right off of I-5 for easy on easy off travel. Family reunion camp site was right up the mountain from the hotel location.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to the Ducks game. The hotel has easy access on and off the freeway, and has many food/gas options in very close proximity. The front desk staff was pleasant, check in/check out went smoothly. The room is nice and updated. The bathroom is very small. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is the carpet in our room felt very sticky, everywhere you walked.

We checked in here on the spur of the moment after a bad experience at a neighbouring hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The reception staff showed us three rooms to choose from before we confirmed our booking. The room was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities, including the buffet breakfast, were amazing. Really good value for money.

I liked that this was close to freeway, for a quick in and out stay. Another strong point was that the hotel is small and you don't have to spend huge amounts of time tracking through the facility or having a long walk to breakfast, or back to the auto. Breakfast was what you usually expect with a BW, however did like the option of having the salsa for my eggs. Bathroom was a little cramped and awkward for getting ready in the morning, but no biggie, we worked through it. The parking spots are very small; and with a couple of large rigs monopolizing two spots, it did make it bit of challenge and battle to keep a spot. Not much they can do with limited space. Another plus, many quick food and other services close by for a quick over night stay, especially with this being a pit stop and less of a destination. Overall, a very good stay.

I use Best Western for all my travel needs, they are always very professional and extremely courteous. they attend to any need that may arise and for this I am very grateful and will continue to support them.

We were visiting friends and family in the area. Our dogs were treated with the same respect we ladies were. The breakfast served was complete with yogurt, waffles, scrambled eggs and delicious sausage gravy.

Hotel seems fairly new. Nice, clean, we'll kept. Nice staff. There is an auto race nearby and while I could hear it in the parking lot it was a non issue in the room with the TV on. And I'm sure they quit racing before it gets too late. I would definitely stay here again.

Another fantastic Best Western on the I-5 Corridor in Oregon! Not a bad commute to Eugene and with the Track and Field Trials going on made it a great location with a fantastic price. Breakfast was great, the room and area clean with helpful staff and an easy check-in/out process!

We took the last room available in the area. We were coming from Pacific City driving through on our way back to California. Our plan was to stay in Eugene but everything was booked...i mean everything. It was getting late, plus it was rainning and our little one was ready for bed...we had to find something. This was the only reason why we drove to Cottage Grove to stay in this hotel. It was crazy expenssive too. Over 200 a night, really?the bed was the most unconfortable bed ever. The mattress was too soft and more like it hasnt been replaced in years! The carpet was dirty and lobby area was also dirty. Will not be staying there again for sure. Later we found out all hotels were booked due to the olympics trials in Eugene. We remember this for next trip.

We arrived to a friendly and helpful front desk clerk. She was very helpful in locating a great restaurant in town that was just across from a quaint covered bridge. The next morning, we left after a nice breakfast. Will stay at this hotel again next year on our annual travels to be with family.

This is a nice motel for the price. The staff was courteous and efficient. They were also very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast area is a bit small but has a nice variety of offerings. The wi-fi service was adeqaute as well.

Not bad for a best western in cottage grove. They had the ac blasting before I arrived to my room. Small but great breakfast, coffee could have been stronger. Great water pressure in the shower, nice beds. Hot tub could have been cleaned a little, there were a few floaties. If Eugene is all booked or too expensive, stay here... definitely a decent spot.

This hotel was clean, our room was clean and the staff was very friendly, asking if there was anything they could help us with. Breakfast area was clean and had quite a few choices. We will plan to stay there the next time we are in town.

Don't hesitate to stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and much better than the price would suggest. Obviously this isn't a 5 star review putting this hotel up against luxury hotels but it gets a 5 star put up against other hotels in the same price range. The staff was very courteous as well.

The questions in the survey and the way i answered them cover our stay at Best Western. I cannot express the friendly staff that had taken care of us. Everyone made us feel like they had known us for a long time.

On the road traveling, spent the night. Staff extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome with my dogs. I had a very comfortable night stay and the price was reasonable. Plenty of places to eat nearby and next door was dutch brothers coffee!

Hotel does deserve the high rating given by other reviewers. The hotel pool and jaccuzzi does seem to be the only thing that could be improved perhaps by improving the lighting and a more vibrant paint job-- does not match the quality of the rest of the hotel, but still the pool was nice to have.

I stayed here one night. Some of the rooms have exterior doors on the first floor, and I was concerned they might not have an elevator, but they do have one! The clerk was great for checkin and checkout. I wasn't expecting much for breakfast, but they offered a wide variety of hot and cold items, which was great. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small. The in room toiletries were very nice, and they offer in-room tea bags in addition to coffee. The bedside table lamps also had 2 outlets in the base, which was great for my Cpap and my phone charger.

This hotel was very nice and affordable. The couch in the room was really comfy and the bed was amazing. The pool was EXTREMELY cold but otherwise our stay was very comfortable. I would consider staying at this hotel again.

We had a great stay. The check in was quick and the staff member was very friendly and helpful. The pool is open until 11 and that was appreciated. The breakfast had a large variety of foods, both hot and cold. The room was larger than I expected and very clean. I appreciated the friendly accommodating staff.

First off: We travel with our small well behaved dog. Hotels/Motels are becoming more acceptable to pets thank-goodness. However they often delegate the less appealing and inferior rooms to pet owners yet charge more for the pet than for a child. Our pets are well behaved and accustomed to travels. On a recent stop in Cottage Grove, OR we stopped at a DIFFERENT RESORT (not this Best Western), well known facility to get a room. We were shown two rooms to choose, one was dark, musty smelling and very old and worn, the other was not a pet room but it didn't have a “bed skirt” so they would reluctantly “allow” the pet. It was better but also worn and old and clearly a last resort room. We moved on to the Best Western just around the corner and asked if they were pet friendly and they said they most certainly were. Not only were they friendly they were welcoming of pets and the room was not an inferior room but a clean, bright room that bespoke of care to pets and their human companions. THANK-YOU BEST WESTERN, COTTAGE GROVE, OR! The rooms are clean, the hallways are wide and clean, the stairways are very wide and bright, the elevator is convenient and the lobby is clean and bright. The beds are firm and clean and no sags. Modern flat screen TV and refrigerator (not like the other un-named resort around the corner). Breakfast is nice and hot as advertised and most of all, the staff cares and is friendly. Just across the street is a very nice family diner and the hotel is convenient to the freeway and other businesses for travelers. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western and will make it our home away from home when Cottage Grove is our stop.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Simple hot breakfast was adequate to get the day started. (I have been required to enter more words...) Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, waffle, sausage patties, your choice of orange, apple, water or coffee. There were also some refrigerated items like yogurt. Apples and bananas were available. There were some hot chocolate packages there as well. Everything was OK except for the sausage patties; they were too salty and somewhat too soft. The bed was comfortable, the AC unit worked well. However, when it was first turned on (heat), a strong smell of hot dust came out and lasted for several minutes.

this is a great place to spend a night or two, very friendly staff, clean rooms, and decent price. has a pool and good breakfast so great place for the kids as well. very centrally located with lots of fast food style restaurants to go to.

Property is close to the highway and easy to access. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. We would stay again. The staff are helpful and courteous. Rooms are the second floor in the back are quieter.

I stayed here with my family for a quick get away. I found the location very convent. Right off the freeway and very close to lots of fast food locations and Wal*Mart was just on the other side of I-5. The staff answered all my questions and gave lots of info on fun things to do with kids. I would gladly stay there again.

Good hotel for the price. Comfortable, clean and helpful staff. We checked in late and checked out early, quick and easy. Dog friendly. Breakfast was good, except coffee in the rooms not the best and limited tea selection if you are a tea drinker, but besides that good deal for the money.

This Best Western was a great place to stay while in Cottage Grove. My wife and I stayed here in January on our way down to Arizona and really enjoyed it. One other time, we stayed at the other hotel down the street and were not impressed. This Best Western had a nice comfortable king size bed and the room & bathroom were very clean. The price was reasonable compared to others we have stayed at over the years. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice clean hotel, with a Dutch Bros Coffee hut in parking lot.... open 24 hours a day. Decent breakfast buffet with protein, not just carbs. Pet friendly. We usually stay in suite, the cost difference is less than $10. Happy staff.

We loved our stay at Cottage Grove OR. The beds were so comfy. but most of all they are pet friendly. Not many hotels have a decent amount of grassy areas, but this one is very nice and it's just outside the breakfast area so you can watch other dogs and owners for breakfast entertainment.

Awesome place to stay great staff clean hotel with indoor spa and pool. My wife and I stay at this hotel whenever we visit Cottage Grove Oregon. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through this part of the country.

Had a great night stay at this hotel. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. Would stay here again when travelling south. Very clean with friendly/helpful staff. Has indoor pool and hot tub which is open until 11pm and opens again at 6am. Two hours south of Portland on I5

Overnighted at this hotel driving back to Canada. It was a 9/10 for cleanliness. Indoor pool and hot tub. Decent beds and well maintained rooms. The price was under a $100 for a double queen room. Also had a hot breakfast.

Room was very clean, well stocked with essentials like soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, was set up well for travelers who haven't traveled together all that often also. Pool also has a shower for getting the pool water off and it's right there at the pool. There were nice lifts for persons with limited mobility also. Will stay again for sure, very friendly staff- they are pros at this- they know how to treat travelers.

Always clean, great price and wonderful staff, from front desk, housekeeping to the breakfast staff! We love to stay here. We often use the room with 3 beds or connecting rooms. We ALWAYS use the pool! Good food nearby.

Booked this place because the trip advisor rating was higher than other local hotels. DO NOT TRUST THE RATING! Despite the fact that there are No Smoking signs everywhere this hotel reeks of tobacco. So much that it triggered and asthma attack. I think the ventilation system must push air from room to room. Horrible!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location off freeway. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown (eggs and bacon were... not good), but there were cereal, toast, waffles, etc. so it's all good. The room itself was great for the cost. My wife, my baby (in a pack and play), and I all slept wonderfully.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past year, the nearby restaurants are great for dinner and the breakfast served is really good. The Village Restaurant has very good value and good food as well as cupons for a discount.

We stayed one night. Trouble finding a place to park but the room itself was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool. Right off the highway and close to many fast food restaurants. Very convenient.

Have stayed several times at this location. Staff is always friendly, food is always tasty, and rooms are always comfy. Great drama free place to relax and be taken care of. It's location is convenient to everything Cottage Grove, and not all that far to Eugene if you want to travel there.

We like Best Western Hotels generally because of the comfort of beds, breakfast and pleasant staff, but the Best Western Cottage Grove Inn had delightful staff on at the desk and in the breakfast room during our stay. The breakfast attendant seemed genuinely interested in the quality of our breakfast experience. Desk staff engaged with the customers in light cheerful conversation that brought a smile.

We just spent 2 nights at this wonderful place. I've stayed here several times, and each time am surprised how they are continually updating their furniture, rugs, bedding, etc. They have fabulous luxurious linens and super-comfy mattresses, yummy full breakfasts, clean, clean, clean, and well-kept rooms and public areas. The carpeting looks new, perhaps because they maintain it so well, and so does the furniture. But BY FAR, the best part of staying here is the friendly, caring, competent staff. Everyone from Jessica, the manager, to the evening desk fellow, Maria who maintains the breakfast buffet, to housekeeping are awesome. They make their guests feel welcome and pampered. One of the finest small hotels in the U.S.

Due to road conditions we stay the night in Cottage Grove and the Best Western. The rooms was comfortable, clean, great internet connection. we had 2 little dogs with us. Clerk was friendly and gave information on surrounding area. In the morning we left the room to have breakfast, and each occupied guest room had a Christmas Card and basket of candy in front of it. What a nice touch. Thank you Breakfast was good, and many choices.

I was very happy with our accommodations. I would used the facilities for a third time if the need arose. The staff was very courteous. Our boys enjoyed a swim in an adequate pool The breakfast was especially well done.

This was a great hotel to stay at for our purposes. Traveling with two other adults and the room with three beds was perfect. Decent breakfast and clean rooms. I stayed here when visiting University of Oregon for the family weekend and would consider staying here again even though it is 18 miles from the university.

the staff here is amazingly friendly and it's the cleanest best western I've ever stayed in. while I still believe the price is more than it should be, this is the nicest of the best westerns I've visited. Located right off the freeway, I was concerned about the sleep quality when I saw the proximity to a multitude of businesses; however, even though we had a parking lot side room, the noise level was incredibly low. we were attending a show in Eugene and this was one of the cheapest places we could find, so we decided to live with the drive. It was well worth it (the best western in Eugene was asking almost $300/nt for the same night!). if you find yourself needing to stay near Eugene, this is really worth the drive for the price, service and cleanliness.

My family of four stayed here for the weekend in October, 2015. The hotel was clean and worked well for us. Rooms were clean and everything was functional. We used the pool which was helpful in getting some of the energy out of our boys (10 and 13). the morning breakfast was pretty standard with many different choices. I would stay here again if I was in the area. Hotel staff was very friendly!

We had a first floor handicapped room. Were able to park right out front. Bed was comfortable, everything worked as expected. Didnt use other amenities. Breakfast was eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, waffles as well as pastries and cereals.

This was a very clean hotel, with a beautiful indoor swimming pool and nice hot tub. Laundry room was easy access for all to use. A variety of restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. Staff all very friendly and helpful with you concerns. Excellent breakfast with many choices to choose from.

This is a nice hotel, and you are in walking distance of a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. I don't think it's worth a hundred dollars though, so ask for a discount if you have to stay here, there's not too many options at this exit.

There is not much to choose from in Cottage Grove (a pleasant town if you choose to explore off the freeway), perhaps due to being within 20 miles of Eugene/Springfield and the plethora of rooms found there. This Best Western is located near the bottom of an off-ramp from Interstate 5. There is some highway noise, however I found it easy to ignore. Fast food all around (Carl's Jr., KFC, Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Burger King), plus a couple of traditional restaurants, all within easy walking distance. Found a much better hamburger place in town - the Bonanza Drive-Up - if you are willing to drive 7 minutes. This appears to be a newer building, and the amenities seem to reflect that. Rooms were mostly quiet, beds and furnishings comfortable, everything in good, working order. Indoor hallways help keep highway noise to a minimum. Check in/out was fast and friendly. Hot breakfast was OK - waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy. I think they scramble something other than fresh eggs (Egg Beaters, perhaps?), but it was quite edible. This was a great place to stay for "just passing through". Would make a good base from which to explore the area for a couple of days. It is on my list for a return visit.

The Cottage grove Best Western is a nice motel/hotel even though it can be tricky trying to find the entrance driveway. We were greeted by a friendly clerk upon check in who had everything arranged. Our Room was spacious,with a microwave and refrigerator (one with a big enough freezer to freeze blue ice packs) everything was clean and in good repair and the bed was very comfortable.. It was nice to wake up to a hot breakfast before hitting the road again. I did think the price was a little high considering the location but we would likely stay again.

Easy access to the highway - comfortable beds/bedding and really clean. The Manager looked after us really well, especially as we had left our computer at a previous hotel and she arranged for it to be send on to our next stop. Good access to food outlets and a good restaurant in town. Always stop here on our way north or south.

Always very clean and well kept. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We use this hotel 3-4 times a year and NEVER look at other options in the area. The kids LOVE the breakfast and it's so nice to hit the road with a full tummy. We also like that there are room options for 3 beds or 2 queens with connecting doors. Really options for just about any family/group. Think we've used them all at one time or another :-)
