Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites

Desk staff were friendly and helpful and check-in went smoothly. However, the room phone didn't work properly (I could hear the called party but they couldn't hear me) but was resolved the following day. Housekeeping dropped the ball the first morning by not replacing used amenities or coffee packets but the second day it was perfect. The room was furnished with dated furniture and the floor was vinyl tile. Also, the TV didn't work but the desk person on duty came to the room and corrected the problem. The best feature was the complementary breakfast with a number of fresh and tasty choices. The price was right and check-out took less than a minute. Overall, I would assign a "grade" of B- but would definitely consider returning.

This is not the first time we have stayed and have always been satisfied with the service that we received. It is centrally located giving easy access to restaurants and other services. I have and will continue to tell family and friends about the Turquoise Inn and Suites.

We had requested upper floor room, but was 'assigned' lower floor suite. Staff immediately changed our room to 2nd floor queen bed, but there a debut as to whether there was a charge difference-this was never settled and we were never given a reason why??? Our room was very clean and nice. Breakfast was standard- biscuits, gravy, eggs, assorted fruits and cereals. Location was good-half an hour away from Mesa Verde Park and restaurants close by.

I was in desperate need of a room, and Ashley, at the front desk was there to save me! She was so polite and professional, and her cheerful spirt brought light to my so far gloomy trip. I will definitely be staying here again!!!

As I have traveled to many cities and try to stay exclusively at best western properties. This property is one of the best. Great centralized location to town and very comfortable and quit. And great place to stay even for one night

Although the outside of this hotel is in need of a paint, our standard room was clean, comfortable bed and good linen. I found the bedside lights very high on the wall, and had to get out of bed to turn them off - that was the only issue (if you can call it that) that I had. The standard rooms are in the older part of the hotel, whilst the suites are at the back and I think more up to date. The breakfast was plentiful and outstanding, the best we have had in any hotel chain. The two ladies attending the breakfast room were on the ball, constantly cleaning (with gloves on) and replenishing the foodstuffs. Very friendly staff. There is no lift/elevator so one has to climb the stairs with one's luggage and stuff. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My room was pleasant, the beds comfortable, in a, great location For my needs, good , breakfast with many choices, the staff made me feel special and were attentive. The town itself had lots to offer close to lodging.

Stay far, far away from this hotel. Worse hotel experience EVER!!! The room was extremely filthy, ants and flying insects in the bathroom bathtub had black mud? in the bottom of it. I thought it was stained until my feet turned black and the water turned black. Sheets were gritty, No hot water in the shower/bathtub. No toilet paper when I checked in. Front desk clerk had to bring me some. Soaps and shampoo were just thrown onto the counter. Hair and weird black things were on the bedside table. Toilet seat was broken. Child above my room was jumping off the bed and stomping on the floor for hours. I called for early check in 2 days before my stay, yet I was told I never called. Again, stay far far away from this hotel.

Stayed here 3 nights. Room was a very good size with 2 beds, a sofa, table and coffee table. Beds very comfortable. Bath with shower, plenty of towels and toiletries, although I do miss having shower gel. Good coffee machine. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice and did vary over the 3 days. Had Almond milk, which was a first for hotels this holiday. Staff were all very polite. I would like to thank the reception staff that accepted 2 emails relating to my medical insurance and printing off the relevant forms. Hotel is well located for restaurants and the Mesa Verde National Park. Only down side - both computers in reception decided not to work when I needed one and some of the sockets in the room didn't work. I would definitely return to this hotel if I was ever in the area. The hotel does get full, so if you require a downstairs room make sure you book in plenty of time and request one.

When we do road trips we often stay at Best Western properties or others in same price range (eg La Quinta, Holiday Inn, etc). Sadly this was not a property I would choose to stay in again, although I expect that it is one of the better motels to stay at in Cortez. It is definitely in need of remodeling, especially the public areas. the lobby and breakfast area are drab and poorly lit. The parking is confusing. The staff at the front desk were friendly however and generally helpful. the room itself was fairly large and was clean. In retrospect I wish we had just stayed in Durango as we were really in the area to see the national park. If you must stay in Cortez I guess I would call the hotel acceptable, but unless they were to remodel I would not want to stay there again.

I stayed just one night with my kid and was not satisfied at all. The room we had was dirty. For example, I found a dead bug beside the bed. A strange smell is in the room. The shower was ugly and looked like, its 30 years old. It doesn‘t feel comfortable at all

I had a really good stay at the hotel. It is right on the main drag and close to several places to eat and a grocery store across the street. Breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. I would stay again.

Very good, could use a recreation or fitness room The pool was pretty nice and with nearby stores and entertainment, I was able to get everything I needed. Cleaning could use some work with proper placement and attention

Best Western Turquoise Inn was great and we extended our stay! The room is spacious, clean and odor-free. I felt safe in the area, too. There was a variety of breakfast foods and drinks and the dining area was clean and comfortable. There's LOTS to do in the surrounding area - just ask at the front desk. They marked points of interest on a map and it was so worth staying the extra night!

I have stayed at this hotel for work many times and it has definitely gotten better. They recently got a small face lift. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable but pillows are a bit on the small side. The internet can be slow.

I am in Cortez, CO often because of business interests I have in that vicinity. From experience, I can tell you that "The Turquoise" (as the locals call it) is the best place to stay. The rooms are large, extremely clean, and the staff is fantastic. They are friendly but professional, helpful, and concerned about you and making your stay a pleasant one.

The woman working at the front desk when I checked in during the evening was fantastic, but that's where the good experience ends. The room (suite) was spacious but was not very clean. The jacuzzi tub I paid extra for was filthy with dirt, soap scum and who knows what else. It clearly has not been cleaned in a long time. The shower also did not drain properly so you ended up standing in a pool of water after a few minutes. I raised these concerns with Best Western and did receive a response from a manager apologizing. I had stayed here once before with my parents in 1993 when I was a kid, but I think I've aged better than the hotel. It's in need of some serious maintenance and cleaning. Also, I accidently left a plastic container with snacks in the room when I checked out. I called the hotel later that day and housekeeping had found it and turned it into the front desk so I was able to come back and pick it up that evening. I wish someone would have called me when it was found to let me know, but I did get it back which was appreciated.

We were very pleased with our stay and the staff, rooms and breakfast were amazing. The bed mattress was very comfortable and our suite had plenty of room with a sofa for relaxing after a long day of driving. The internet is slow and the hotel does not have a fitness center.

Great stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Holly at the front desk was very helpful and had cookies at check in. Breakfast had a good variety. Very close to Mesa Verde National Park. Will stay here again on the next road trip.

This is an older property, but generally well maintained. We were upgraded to a suite (316) with 2 rooms, 3 sinks, and lots of space. Maybe because we were at the back of the hotel, there was no road noise. Beds were very comfy, the shower was great, and the breakfast was above average. Out bathroom door was damaged and dirty, and should have been cleaned or even replaced long ago. Also, our room had a limited view of the surrounding scenery - I suspect other properties in town provided better views.

Great location near Mesa Verde National Park. I believe the hotel is older, but has been nicely renovated and the rooms are quite large. Rooms were super clean and the breakfast was good and had a nice selection. The staff was super friendly and it was one of our more affordable stays on our Southwest National Parks trip. Highly recommended.

We just stayed here on our way to Phoenix. Great price for a king w/jacuzzi. Doors open to the outside but our room (1st floor, inside courtyard) was well covered. Room was clean & quiet. The bed & jacuzzi were in one room w/a door. The bathroom w/tub, sink, & long counter were in the middle w/another sink in the hall. Then the living room/kitchenette area has bar sink, microwave, & mini fridge under a long counter. There was also a couch, chair, coffee table, & work desk & chair. TVs in both rooms. Plenty of lighting & USB ports. Breakfast had plenty of options & tasty hot items. Hotel is on the main drag but had ample, well lit, parking in the back. Staff was friendly.

excellent staff and clean hotel and room. Has a large hot tub pool that we are definitely using next trip and bringing our pets with us in uncarpeted room. Breakfast was awesome all our favorites and coffee in rooms

internet was even worse then staying at the low rent motels even the econo lodge down the street has better internet. Being a best western i would think they should be better for there guests. the rooms are nice but the blankets are very thin and during winter they don't offer much warmth or comfort .

Super nice lady checked me in and gave me a large balcony area with table in front of my room on 2nd floor. It was a cold snowy evening but she heard me say I'd sit out regardless and gave me the perfect spot with an extended roof over my spot to sit. Large clean and comfy room. Breakfast very nice. Great walk-in rate. Just a lovely Best Western!

We were unable to get home to Ridgway Colorado due to the snow storm that hit Shiprock, Cortez, Delores, Rico and Lizard Head Pass. While my sister drove, I called AAA & asked for 2 rooms for 2 Seniors and 2 Adults. Stone with AAA was most helpful & found us the best rates with Best Western in Cortez. There met us there, my Nephew came in with me. Holly was working the front desk & when she saw that I had a walker, she immediately checked for a room downstairs. When she found one, it was a Suite and told us she would honor the price AAA had quoted me. I asked if that was the best price because we were not expecting to spend the night anywhere she lowered BOTH Suites by another $20 each! Later that night, I was trying to get on the internet and was having trouble. I called the front desk and I'm sorry I forgot the overnight lady's name, but she talked me through the sign in process. She was very friendly and helpful. Plus I forgot my toothbrush and paste. She said she had a few left so I went up and met her and again I'm sorry I forgot her name. Holly was leaving and I thanked her again. The next morning at breakfast, Elizabeth offered me a tray to carry my food. She was very nice, helpful and friendly.

2 sections: 100/200 series (face highway in a flat-U shape) and 300/400 series (don't face highway, have outdoor courtyard). Those rooms might be quiet, but ours wasn't (200 series). Road noise was horrible. Although it did calm down by bedtime, it was a bit stressful wondering if it would. Other source of noise: thin walls (neighbors not even especially loud). Wi-fi was spotty and mostly not accessible. Had planned to figure out what to do next day using internet, but couldn't due to poor connection. Thin towels. Not many electrical plugs; only 2 things can be plugged in on/near nightstand. Bathroom door can't be moved if someone is standing at sink. Bathroom doesn't have a fan; it has a window (not great if hot or cold day). Fridge doesn't have freezer section. Comfortable beds. Direct TV including movies. Across street from City Market. Could walk to shops/downtown area (didn't). Good counter space in room, but very limited in bathroom. Toilet doesn't flush well; have to hold handle down a long time (even if just toilet paper). Glad we only stayed one night; would not stay here again. Two weeks later, I called and learned they still hadn't fixed the internet. Seems like website should have had an alert; it said they provided wifi.

We just needed a place to rest up for the evening and sleep but we got something much better. The lady at the front desk was amazing. Even though she was swamped, she was able to take great care of us. We needed two rooms and they were both very nice suites that could sleep six people each. The hotel is older but it's really nice. My grandkids wanted to swim but the pool was closed. However, the indoor hot tub was open and it was amazing. It was basically the size of a backyard built in pool and was landscaped in rock with a waterfall. To them it was a lovely swimming pool. The grounds were also nicely landscaped with an area to BBQ and sit in a park-like area with a waterfall. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best that we've seen. It included full hot breakfast items and plenty of seating. It is located near Mesa Verde National Park and not too far from Four Corners Monument. It is also conveniently located to stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Noisy. Tiny bathrooms. No access to electrical plug on wall with beds. Sloppy housekeeping. Indifferent staff. There are many other options in Cortez at the same or lower price. I won't stay here again.

Great customer service! Clean, comfortable, and great assistance!! It was a great location for visiting Mesa Verde. The warm water pool was delightful! It was a very active weekend for the hotel (it was full) and they adjusted well to lots of demand.

Great friendly Hotel. We needed a room at 12:30AM, being a BW rewards member I hoped there would be availability. There was one room. We were greeted by a very friendly, knowledgeable young man named Kenneth who sold us his last room! He even gave me the rewards rate but he didn't have to. The room was clean and spacious. I like a firm but not too firm bed and the beds were terrific. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and many choices. This is a really nice charming hotel. the only thing for some, is there is no elevator if you have a room on the second floor. If you require an elevator be sure to book request a ground room floor for access.

Our softball team stayed here. They had all of our room cards ready and it didn't take long at all to get checked in. Breakfast is great with lots of options: biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles, bacon, juice, and more.

This is an older hotel and our queen room was small. However, it was clean, had two comfortable chairs to use, more amenities in the bathroom than I've seen in years—even mouthwash. Good selection for breakfast. Popcorn in the lobby and a very friendly, helpful staff. Only problem was no internet and the situation was explained to us. It won't be fixed until November.

Management here is amazing - very responsive, caring. I talked with Latrisha when we were 30 minutes away, regarding a last minute reservation I was poised to secure on the mobile app. I needed ground floor, which is impossible to do online - yet I wanted to book from the app to get perks like lower rate, points, etc. I booked online while she was talking with me, and she was able to save me a ground floor room. This review is about a stay in early October, 2022, in room 106, and our general experience. WHAT I LOVED: Ease of making the reservation. Friendliness and helpfulness of front desk staff on checkin. Amazing breakfast room and good breakfast options. Someone cleaning the tables constantly, so that it seemed very clean. Desk, dresser drawers, roomy dressing area with plenty of mirrors (even one full-length). Good TV and remote. Channel guide. Bedding warm and comfortable, 3 good pillows. Truly beautiful hot tub area. Entire property well kept with few exceptions ... WHAT I DID NOT LIKE Mattress not very comfortable - not up to Best Western standards. Okay, but not great. Desk light did not work; lights by each side of the bed are too high on the wall to be turned on and off from the bed - you have to stand up. There should have been 4 pillows rather than 3 on the queen bed. Desk light did not work - on/off switch was broken, as was the tech plug-in part. Outlet at the base of light no longer holds plugs firmly so does not really charge devices unless you somehow hold them in tightly. BOTTOM LINE I would stay here again. Good pricing, good experience, good management. Those are the keys to success and a good guest experience.

I was stuck in Cortez my husband was in the hospital, They treat me like family. Their rooms are clean their services great. I will recommend this hotel. I was alone and they made me feel like I mattered. During my stay there was a mix up with my room the second night, they upgraded my room and made it right. The breakfast was amazing. Thank you again.

The rooms are very nice. However, their WiFi sucks. It kept cutting out, and when connected it was weak. Finally had to turn on the hot spot on my phone to be able to use my laptop. Front desk response was oh the guy didn't come in today. We had the same problem yesterday. I told him reboot it... he said oh can't touch it. I work in hospitality, and we know how to reboot the WiFi on our property.

By far the worst Best Western we have had on our Route 66 trip. The Motel is dated, there was a damp/drains odour in the room, the bathroom was the smallest I've used in the US. There was no extraction whatsoever in our bathroom, the window wouldn't open, and after a shower the walls were running in condensation. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted, but after checking in and finding no internet I went down to reception to be told that the system was being updated and was only really available in the reception area. None of this was mentioned during check-in, and it is totally contrary to the Best Western advising of high speed availability. OK forgivable for a one off event, but reading the reviews on here I see that the Internet hasn't been working properly for a number of months, and as such advertising it whilst knowing it doesn't work is fraudulent. If I can type this report in the middle of monument valley there's no excuse whatsoever to not get on line in Cortez. All in all a pity really as much on offer was good, but sadly let down in a number of areas.

Look like it was updated in the 90s. Absolutely no internet, no USB ports, and toilet that ran constantly. Friendly staff, but was told upfront that they were understaffed. Breakfast was reasonable and starts at 630.

We stay here several times a year. The suites are always comfortable, excellent beds. Love the sitting area. The grassy courtyard with its fountain adds a wonderful ambiance. Breakfast selection is excellent.

We have been staying here when we're in Cortez for years and have always been happy with this motel. We just stayed in a 2 bed queen suite, which was nice and well kept-up, and a good value. This motel is also an easy walk to the downtown, where the main restaurants and businesses are. I left my Kindle in the bed, and they found it and notified me before I even knew it was missing. They have already mailed it to me.

We stayed two days in a Suite room, separate living area with pull out and two queen beds in the other. The extra room was nice but the AC in the living area was out so it was a bit too warm for sleeping. Breakfast was good with lots of choices, pancakes, biscuit and gravy, breads, pastries, eggs, bacon, fruit and cereal. This is a 2 level exterior entry property, with no elevator so for ease I would suggest requesting ground floor room. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and the indoor jetted pool.

Stayed here two nights when visiting Canyon of the Ancients and Mesa Verde. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice, I didn't try the hot tub. Breakfast was very good. Conveniently located across from a grocery store (City Market) and there are good restaurants down the street.

Easy location right off the main road, the pool was lively with kids, but my room was perfectly quiet for a good night's rest to check out the Cliff palace early the next morning. Several great restaurants or bars in walking distance.

Was a great place to stay with everything I needed in just a walking distance. Food was great to eat in the early mornings as well and the staff was just so helpful too. My room was always prepared great everyday was well

BE ADVISED that wifi does not work at this hotel. It comes up about 5 to 10 minutes then arbitrarily drops for an hour or more--usually more. I brought this to attention to front desk 3 times and they did not care. I went to the lobby with my laptop to show them--still they did not care. They have a sign up to say they are upgrading--but per other reviews this same sign was up 8 months ago. So that is misrepresentation. They have no intention of providiing this service. Given that, they should REMOVE the "free hi speed" internet from the Best Western website for their listing AND from the marquis out front that said FREE HI SPEED INTERENET which circulates the whole time. They do NOT have it and it is a misrepresentation.

This Best Western has the appearance of a motel—two floors, no elevator, access for many rooms are from the outside. Not my favorite “look” or circumstance. That said, Evett at checkin was sweet and efficient and our room was wonderful—quiet much to my surprise given how full the hotel was, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine.

I've stayed at the Turquoise a few times now. The jacuzzi suites are the best; with a private back bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room; perfect for a small family. They have an unusual jetted hot pool that is open until midnight. Their breakfast is above average; they have Greek yogurt, V-8. The motel is clean, staff are friendly. I just went on a road trip with 6 different hotel stays, ranging from simple to fancy, and this was my favorite. I find myself needing lodging in this area fairly frequently; I'll always stay here when possible.

This Best Western seems to be a poorly rebranded motel 8. First off, it is a motel, not a hotel. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and only got 1 queen bed. The rooms were incredibly small - we were tripping over each other. Bathroom was extremely dated and dingy.

Hotel is in need of numerous upgrades from the door sensor to get in, the beds, the breakfast, and the bad odor in the rooms. The room was semi clean but had blonde hairs in the bed which did not belong to us. The bed was not too comfortable. Breakfast was decent (if you're hungry you will eat). The door sensor would not work 90% of the time we tried to get back into the room and was never fixed while we were there.

I was on a multistate road trip and had picked this location based on very good reviews. When I pulled up I was dismayed to see it was a hotel with the room entrances outside. However when I went to sleep I was out for the night. I had no issue with anyone walking by being obnoxious making all kinds of noise. That was a nice surprise! The breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, fatty bacon (just how I like it) and a glass of orange juice. If I had paid for it I would have been happy for it but it was free so that was even better.

All of the staff at this hotel were amazing. We were only there one night, but each and every one of them really worked hard to please, the were great. The room was very spacious and clean. I only wish they had a recycle bin on the property.

Nice facility. Friendly, efficient check in. Better than average breakfast. Good location. Easy walk to lots of restaurants and downtown. City Market right across the street. I was upgraded to a suite, which was nicely appointed. Wifi was slow. Good enough for e-mail, but could not stream a movie. Quiet at night. I would stay here again.

We had a very large room on the first floor. Although we were close to the street, the traffic noise was not a problem. The bathroom was small compared to the size of the room and made it a bit inconvenient. The staff was wonderful, both front desk and housekeeping. Everything was very clean. This location had changed management the week before so I would expect even more improvements after chatting with the new owner.

This place was spacious and comfortable. And our room was available for early check-in! The breakfast was delicious, and they had a good variety of hot and cold food. It was located near Mesa Verde National Park which was just one stop on our National Park road trip through Colorado and Utah. The staff were helpful and recommended a great restaurant within walking distance. There's a cute gift shop with quality merchandise. We were glad there was a grocery store right across the street.

My wife and I stayed here for one night on a recent road trip. We had a suite which was outstanding. It had two separate rooms plus a nice bathroom. It was very clean and there were a lot of tv channels available. Location is very good. You can walk to several good restaurants. The place is a bit of a throwback as it appears to be a converted motel and consists of several different buildings. Our building had two floors. There's no elevator to the second first floor. Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was pretty typical - mostly cold items with a few hot options. Nothing to write home about. We found the hotel to be a great value due to the quality of the room.

If you're looking for a place to stay this is it! Clean rooms, great water pressure, fantastic pleasant staff! Parking is great. Lot well maintained. Breakfast food was hot and fresh. The young lady preparing it was great!

We stayed in a Queen Suite which has an entirely separate living room featuring a work desk, two sofas and other furniture, a TV and a large condiment area with a sink, perfect for remote workers and families. The rooms were clean and the staff were very welcoming.

We have stayed here dozens of times since 2004. When we arrived I found my full name listed on a "Welcome Best Western members" board by the front desk. I find this a security risk for me while traveling. No one needs to know my house is empty. The desk chair in room our room was old and gross. Bathrooms have always been very tight in this hotel. Toilet didn't flush well and towel rack fell of the wall. It appeared that the hotel may have homeless or assisted families living there. There were questionable looking persons and vehicles around. It did not appear to me that those persons would have paid so much more to stay at a Best Western than the cheaper hotels in town. They would smoke cigarettes near our room door. Parking lot was littered with cigarette butts and trash. The hotel no longer has a high class look it did with the previous owner. It took way too long to check in. Numerous staff spent time talking about family for quite some time and asked me to wait while they talked. The same front desk person was also being harassed by an x-boyfriend who set off her cars alarm over and over again until the police showed up. We suggest staying at the Baymont down the street for a nicer room that costs less.

This is by far one of the nicest hotel that I stay in. When you get the upgraded room it is huge and very nice. The staff is always courteous and helps you any way they can. I would recommend anyone to stay when they come to town.

We wer greeted and given an upgrade to our room. What a good start! The indoor pool spa was open and we spent time in it each day. The room upgrade was a 2 queen suite so we had extra room and three sink total for our morning return. Hot breakfast, coffee in the room and of course microwave and frigarator. It is close to four corners our main occupation of the stay.

The hotel was nice but the bathrooms needed to be updated...they were very very small but the bed was comfortable the breakfast was excellent and service and the bed was comfortable. They also had a gift shop inside and was fully stocked with alot of items.

The building(s) don't look the best. But the rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We got a suite for a very reasonable price for the 3 of us which made it nice to spread out after being cooped up in smaller hotel rooms together. Only downside is their wifi doesn't work in all of the rooms.

I am a local and stayed here one night because of plumbing problems at home. I thought the motel was good, clean and pretty nicely furnished. The room was a little dark and the heater was pretty loud, but not enough to keep me awake. The location would be really good for tourists, with the grocery store (and the only Starbucks counter in town) across the street and La Casita restaurant up the block. The only real issue I had was that the wifi kept going out on me while I was trying to stream a show, which is frustrating in this day and age.

Only stayed for one night while passing through to Mesa Verde NP. Close to entrance. The heater "hummed" all night. Didn't report it because we didn't want to pack all our stuff up and move. Clean bathroom, beds were comfortable but pillows were small and flat. The breakfast was hot and had several choices. Staff was friendly and suggested we start our trip by going to the Visitors Center. Great idea! We also went to the Cultural Center before our trip and watched the 2 movies about the cliff dwellers. Also, another excellent suggestion. I would stay there again, price was reasonable.

Cute clean hotel. They are doing everything possible to provide superior service, I couldn't be more impressed by the staff. Rather than cutting down on service they are elevating it to the next level. Serving the hot breakfast instead of every one getting there own or like many hotels eliminating all together! We had a minor issue which was resolved immediately by the woman at the front desk, I apologize I did not get her name....thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We were just passing through and only stayed for one night. It was a good stop and our only complaint was that the room was a little dark. We needed more light to read and also just to see and find things. Older folks need more light!

Our stay started off on a bad note. The unit above us had a plumbing issue and water leaked through the ceiling in our bathroom. I notified the young lady at the desk and she quickly changed our room. In fact, she upgraded us to a suite. They are dog friendly for a $25 fee and they do serve a warm breakfast (limited choices). I would suggest they close off some rooms for updating and maintenance because that's what it needs. Maybe hire an extra maintenance man because it might be too much to handle for one guy. All in all a good experience.

The hotel and staff were great, as was the full complimentary breakfast (delicious), but the walls were so paper thin I could hear every footstep and snoring up above and at one point I woke up and thought the next-door neighbors were in my room! They weren't even being rowdy. I usually try to get a top floor room but that didn't happen this time. We did get an ADA room and there's no elevator so we didn't have to climb stairs which was nice. There was no table in the room which made it hard to eat dinner but the place was clean, beds were comfortable (we had two rooms) and walk in shower was nice.

very clean comfortable beds and pillows. Room ready when we arrived, Blonde lady at checkin was very friendly and helpful. Being seniors we really like how many seniors were at the hotel. very quiet experience. Breakfast was served by staff, lots of room to sit inside and outside. We had a room overlooking pool. Vey nice but we did not use the pool this time. Great location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Grocery store across the street. No complaints with this pace. Would recommend

Do not stay here ever. I stayed here on Sep 9 with my college age daughter. When I returned from picking up up some dinner, I noticed a man looking in my room's window. I asked him what he was doing and he said just walking by, and then ran away from the hotel, down the street. When I got in my daughter said someone had been calling the room trying to talk to her. I called the front desk to ask how and why the calls the were put through. The front desk person said they just put calls through and don't have called ID. I asked her to call the police, and she declined but said that I could. So I did. When the police came, instead of speaking to me, they spoke to the person at the front desk, who did not even inform of me what was happening. I asked for the manager to call me in the morning. I did not hear from her. Upon check out, I told the story again and asked the manager to call me. I did not hear from her. A few days later I called and told the story again and asked the manager to call me. This time she returned the call a few hours later. When I tried her back, she dryly told me the police could not find the person and no report was made. No apology for the incident, no explanation on how they might take effort to stop something that certainly seemed not to be a first time event for that creep. The manager Tiffany seemed like this was all some headache for her that she did not care about. Who knows what would have happened had I not come back when I did. I waited before writing this review, giving the hotel a chance to show me this was an isolated incident that they were focused on preventing in the future, and showing some sympathy towards us. They didn't do that. Don't ever stay there.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Clean and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful. Had not stayed at a Best Western in many years. Pleasantly surprised y the updates. Will definitely stay at one again

We needed a hotel last minute as our car died on Labor Day on our way home. The hotel was clean, the hot breakfast was well managed, the service was great. Would recommend to people staying in Cortez.

Hotel is very old and dated. The room smelled of smoke and mildew. Check-in was quick but after we went into our room and saw the condition, we returned to the front desk and no one was available after waiting 20 minutes we decided at accept the situation given that it was late and we needed to get rest. The breakfast was sparse but had what we wanted coffee, bread and cereal. I would NOT recommend this hotel. The reviews posted seem to me as bogus

Wonderful experience. Everything was great. Was upgraded to a suite for free with my rewards status. Room was very clean. Came with a giant jacuzzi tub. Front desk was lady was very helpful and inviting.

The hotel is clean, and well laid out. The rooms are spacious and well kept up. The employees are courteous and friendly. Great place to stay for a night or week if needed. The morning breakfast is a good start to the day. Excellent.

location great, convenient to mesa verde, and arches national parks as well as ancient pueblo and lowry pueblo etc. we stayed in a suite and it was outstanding. staff were friendly, helpful and fast. i witnessed them assisting others as well. the suites were fantastic and their was a great courtyard with water feature, trees and birds who nested there.

This is an older property that has had some updating. Is it the newest, shiniest place in town? No, but this hotel met my needs quite nicely. All I need is a room that is clean, quiet, comfortable, and equipped with all of the things I need on a trip (nice shower, a fridge, wifi, etc.). The Turquoise Inn checks all of those boxes and more. The breakfast they serve is very nice and it is served by some of the friendliest folks you're ever going to meet. The location is fantastic...right on Main Street. There are numerous restaurants, stores, and coffee shops all within a few blocks walking distance. There is a very nice grocery store right across the street. I would definitely return to the Turquoise Inn.

By far the friendliest staff we have encountered in a long time. And not just one person but all of the staff. This hotel also takes Covid restrictions seriously and staff follows through. The pool and hot tub are not next to each other which is weird. The pool was nice and honestly pretty warm. The hot tub temp is great but the room it's in is like a sauna. We didn't last long in there. Great place to stay if you are in Cortez. Laundry on site too

Enjoyed our stay, we were pleasantly surprised. We did not utilize the spa (jacuzzi) but it looked welcoming. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They seem to take an extra step at check in to welcome guests.

We enjoyed this hotel. We were met by the person at the front desk in a friendly matter and she was great at telling us all the details of the hotel and where to find things and what time things closed and what time breakfast was. The room was clean and we really liked the layout with the separate room with the couch. My key every so often had troubles being read which was kind of frustrating, but it was ok. I was a little disappointed that the ice machine on our floor was not in working order. The distance to the pool is quite a distance as well when you are back in the suite rooms, which was a little hard with kids, but it was ok.

This is a basic BW. The property could use an upgrade but the price we paid was not out of line for this room. It is within walking distance to several good restaurants. They have a nice outdoor pool to cool off in the afternoon. Note, like most establishments, it is on the main road through town. Try to get a room away from the road or you will hear traffic at night.

Loved our stay! Very nice motel, with helpful and friendly staff. We reserved a suite for our family of four and it was a wonderful relief after one room motels. Pool looked inviting and the whole place was great. Would absolutely stay again!

This hotel has wonderful staff that were very helpful and friendly. There is no elevator, it appears that this used to be a motel at some point in the past. The toilet in our room always threatened to not flush but never ran over. The carpet on the outside entrance to our room was very dirty but again, it was outside. The room was adequate for getting a decent nights sleep. Bed was older but comfortable enough. The carpets were probably clean but just felt grundgy. Because of the high demand for rooms during tourist season, it served our needs as we book a room at the last minute depending on what we are doing. Because of it's location, we did spend 3 nights there. It also had a pool that we did not use but families seemed to enjoy it.

The Hotel outside okay, and had great parking compared to the other hotels in the area. The staff very friendly & brought us extra pillows that is why I gave it a Poor and not "Terrible" review. I wasn't happy due to the dirty bathrooms, and floors. I stayed 3 days and they didn't make our bed, or bring us fresh linens and the hotel ran out of wash cloths? It wasn't just us that had this experience since we had friends along with us on this trip in another room and they had the same experience. Paid a high $$ for the room & I was very disappointed in this Hotel. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn, and Quinta Inn and had better experiences. We didn't experience the Jacuzzi or pool, they looked nice but wondered about their cleanliness due to our room experience. Overall I would not recommend this Hotel.

The internet went off, even during times when there were few guests at the motel. When the internet did work, it was slow. The motels has a run down appearance and could use refurbishing. The staff were friendly.

We stayed in the suite section of the hotel which is not visible from the road. It's quiet and has a relaxing courtyard with a water feature and tables. The front desk and breakfast staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Breakfast featured scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, fruit, yogurt, etc. There were many beverage choices. The best part was that due to Covid restrictions, the breakfast staff made and served the food. No standing in a line waiting to cook waffles!!! The suite had 3 sinks, one by the refrigerator/microwave, one off the hallway, and one in the shower area. This was so convenient for the 3 of us sharing the room.

Due to relocation we were traveling with our 65 lb crate trained dog. I called the hotel to discuss room options, Tom recommended a suite on the courtyard. It was the perfect choice( first floor, opens onto green space). Upon arrival, Jackson greeted us and gave us a milk bone for the dog. The place hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. the hotel is within walking distance to dining options. If you are traveling with a pet, this hotel is a great option!!!

Room was a nice size and clean. They have tables outside to sit at and visit or eat. The pool was great for our boys to swim in. The staff was very friendly. They also had a good breakfast. The only down side was the bathroom was pretty small. Our family would stay there again.

We were impressed with this BW. The check in was smooth and the checkout was easy. The room was well maintained and sizable. Needed help on a couple things and the front desk person was very helpful. The building shows its age but more than made up by the positive things already mentioned. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites Cortez DONT STAY HERE 791438005 Front desk staff were idiots. Here we are June, 21......and they are still playing the "COVID " Card.......Front desk said that I could not have an extra pillow because of COVID restrictions.......WHAT BS!!!!

We arrived late at night for our reservation and the host was very nice, got us checked in to our room quickly. The breakfast attendant Dayton was very helpful and very nice to talk to. The hotel was very clean and the shower was awesome.

Excellent choice of hotel. Not only is everything very clean and comfortable, but the hotel also offers a hot breakfast. And the coffee available in the room (Keurig) was excellent. More, we arrived in the evening, and it was COLD outside. However, the heater in the room was turned on, thanks to the hotel staff.

Friendly staff greated me at the door. They had nice and comfortable rooms. They had a very friendly person serving a hot breckfast. Hot tub area looked nice. Lots of local attractions near by. Centered in the town.

Came here to explore Mesa Verde with my kids and really wanted to sit in the hot tub at night. Was disappointed that it was cold the night we were there. We were told it would warm up but it didn't. The same thing happened to us at a best western we stayed at the next town over, so our whole trip was stuck without good hot tubs.

Just in town for one night of business. Our room had great amenities. I was impressed with the extreme cleanliness. Staff were great!! I will definitely stay again! Plus, it is close to all the restaurants.

Remember how cold it was? We booked two rooms and when we arrived the heat was off. Not just a fluke, but in both rooms and both bathrooms, too. It took a long while to warm up and the room was serviceable. Our rooms were in the corner sorta above the pool, and so they were covered. If it were warmer it would have been nice to gather out there for meals and such but it was icy. Nog much for breakfast though everyone was helpful.

This hotel is not a non smoking hotel. This is false advertising. The room smelled badly of smoking and outside all over the hotel there are cigarette butts and even places to conveniently put cigarettes. False advertising!

We have stayed at this place many times over the years and have always been pleased. But this time neither the person who checked us in or the one who checked us out wore masks. I asked about it and she said they were pro choice. I told her I was a 3 time cancer survivor and if I caught the virus I was toast so it felt like more than a choice- it felt very very inconsiderate. We will not be staying here again.

We stay at this hotel a couple of times a year on our trips from north to south and back. It is always clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. A very good value for your dollar. Easy walking distance to restaurants.

We had been traveling for 5 days and this was the 3rd Best western we stayed at. We stayed at 2 fancy hotels in Phoenix. And this Hotel was by far the best of our trip. The Front desk clerk provided amazing customer service. As did the breakfast attendant. If you need to stay in Cortez. This is the place to stop.

This is a well-appointed Best Western with a good location. The room was good, the bed quite comfortable, the heating system steady and quiet (unlike some in other Best Westerns that turn up and down loudly), the wifi good. But I'm taking the time to write because the staff were definitely friendly and efficient. The desk clerks I talked with were pleasing and quick, and the young lady handling the breakfast (carryout in this time of Covid) was likewise friendly and efficient. Good on them - they really helped make a winter stop in Cortez quite enjoyable. These are all marks of good management, I'd say.

I stayed at this facility for 2 nights. The room was clean, the area quite and a number of restaurants close by. After a hard day sightseeing and photographing it was a pleasure to return to this room.

The staff at this Best Western are very nice. The property looks a bit tired and old but the rooms are clean and everything was in working order. All was A-OK with our stay at this Best Western. Both check-in and check-out were easy and fast. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The wifi works really well. Service from the staff members operating the breakfast "buffet" was friendly and efficient, and it was done in a way that keeps customers safe during this era of COVID.

I chose this hotel because I was using my Best Western rewards points. I reserved two queen bed rooms and my request for ground floor rooms was honored. The overall hotel was well maintained and in a good location along the route I was taking to Denver Colorado. I like that you can park at your door for easy luggage transfer from vehicle to room. The rooms were clean and all the drains worked well in the sink & tub. I did not use the pool, but it looked very inviting. I could not partake in the the free hot breakfast as I left before the the breakfast room opened at 6:30 am, but I did inquire on what was on the menu and it sounded very good with all the basic breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, and etc. The A/C unit in the rooms worked very well. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I would not hesitate to stay at this Best Western in the future.

We were on way to 4Corners Monument and then Mesa Verde. This was well located. Only problem was no elevator. Had to drag belongings up and down stairway. As we are both in our 70s was tiring. The suite was nice and clean. COVID-19 breakfast

Cortez was the mid-way point driving to AZ from CO and back. We stayed here both ways because the price was right. The front desk and breakfast room people are extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is decent, with coffee, scrambled eggs and bacon, and various other basic offerings. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty run down and could use a makeover, especially under the Best Western brand name.

Room was disgustingly dirty, stayed only one night of a four night business trip. Asked for refund the next mornin, if I had noticed the bathroom the evening prior, I would have left then. Looked like dried puke around the toilet.

I really have to give props to the guy who runs the breakfast at the Best Western in Cortez. He really goes out of his way and is a great example of a classy hotel employee. I'm on a business trip and I have to leave for the job site early in the morning before the breakfast room officially opens. He not only let me in early while he was preparing the rest of the food so that I could grab a coffee and yogurt, he even stopped to make me a breakfast burrito! The guy is a class act and really improves the whole stay here.

I would give this a * 10 star * if I could super clean hotel staff was so friendly following all Covid guidelines the full breakfast was great and the service was spectacular. Dayton was the one who served our breakfast super clean friendly made me feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all. And will definitely be back because of the service with the breakfast was amazing GOD BLESS.

Stayed here for a funeral and came for breakfast. Dayton was beyond wonderful! He was following all Covid regulations. I felt bad he had to do all the work to serve all of us but he was more than happy to. He gave us better service than we got from a restraunt and he had to do it alone! We were all very impressed with the service and this will be our #1 spot when we return!

Hands down the best customer service I have had during a hotel stay with over 15 years of traveling experience. I stayed here for 115 days while working in Cortez and highly recommend choosing this hotel. The receptionists Eva, Jackson, and Kia, met or exceeded all of my requests to make my long stay better. I watched the hotel breakfast staff, Dayton, Brittany, and Faith work through COVID-19 restrictions and do everything they could to keep breakfast exciting and delicious. After 100 consecutive days in the same hotel, a tasty hot breakfast means everything to a guest. Way to make my day, every day! Lastly, the housekeeping staff and specifically, Shirley, went the extra mile to make my stay more comfortable. If you want great service, a tasty breakfast served with a smile (even if its underneath mask) and a back patio to grill while staying in the Four Corners area, I recommend this Best Western!

we selected Best Western hotels because of their overall good standards. However this hotel does not deserve to be called " Best Western ' and needs a complete overhaul. The room was not clean and smelly, the curb appeal speak entrance to the room was dirty and animal bones were lying on the door mat. The bathroom is so tiny that it was hard to move in and out.the vanity in the bath and guest room were not clean and gritty, the carpet needs good cleaning There were Bugs crawling out of my "fresh" Bath towel after my shower. On top of all this the room price is way above standard when compared to all the other best western we stayed in. The young men at the check- out however was very helpful and acted very professional and friendly.

We had just driven through the San Juans sightseeing and were done for the night. We found this Best Western after calling around looking for some place that would take our four-legged child. Staff was super friendly helping us with a discount and a room that worked for us (I wanted a nice hot bath). They also helped us locate a convenient restaurant that had outdoor dining. The room was basic but spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Very little road noise even though the motel is located on Main St. WiFi was more than adequate to stream our movie that night. We didn't utilize but their pool and hot tub were in use during our stay. I'd return here in a heartbeat if we were traveling through Cortez again.

Bathroom is super small and not vented. Room was stinky and had dog poop smeared on floor. Plug ins only worked when the lights were left on. Constant noise from street and truck in parking lot. Way overpriced for the condition of the room. Not what I expected for a best western

We really enjoyed out stay here. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, and good pet friendly amenities. Also very close to good restaurants and across the street from Starbucks. Will stay here again.

We were there on a fairly cold winter night. Because we're Diamond members we were upgraded to a suite with a gas fireplace and that was nice. The heater fan came on loudly a couple of times after we went to bed so I had to unplug it. Even turning it off didn't actually turn it off but it was fine after I unplugged it. The man who was there at check-in was nice and helpful. The exterior is a little, as they say, dated. The room was nice but not super modern.

When ever we stay in Cortez this is our hotel of choice. It is pet friendly which is why we first chose it, but it is always clean and neat and decently priced. The suites are definitely a good value.

Standard BW hotel room. Very nice hot tub. Excellent front desk staff - friendly, efficient, and helpful. Standard motel breakfast with some hot food. Very inexpensive during our off-season visit; excellent value for the price.

We went to Mesa Verde to see the cliff dwellings and especially see them lit up at night which they do once a year. Cortez Best Western is the closest hotel for us. It was excellent. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Staff is very nice and rooms are very clean. The dpa hot tub is great. Breakfast is good plenty of good hot food. Quiet location. The hotel is close to old town and shopping.

We're two Brits on a road trip. We stayed one night here to enable us to spend a full day in Mesa Verde. Great place: spacious, comfortable, practical, friendly, well laid out, everything you want for a roadside motel. It's at the end of Cortez with a higher concentration of eating places, all in walking distance. Decent breakfast buffet also.

My family had a wonderful stay. Both evening and morning front desk personnel were professional and friendly. Eva particularly was helpful with an issue at the previous best western that we had stayed at the day before. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Spacious room for the few days were in Cortez. They also take pets which was helpful. Beds were comfortable and they had a nice continental breakfast. Parking was not an issue and is close to everything you'd like to see.

We stayed here recently for two nights while on a road trip to see fall leaves. Check in was a breeze and we were given a first floor room in the back corner so off the main road (no road noise). The bathroom was rather small but fine for two people. Nice counter with mirror outside bathroom to place cosmetics etc. The room was clean and beds were comfy. We even had a little resident bat outside our door! The breakfast offerings were eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, cereals, oatmeal or waffles with fixins, and my husband's favorite--whipped cream! We would stay here again if in the area.

It was a friendly place to spend the 2 nights. Close enough to walk to the shopping market or to find something ti eat. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I booked this room because of the awesome fountain by the hot tub and on the property. The staff were all super friendly. It was a nice stay! I had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. I would go back and stay another time.

The motel is conveniently located in Cortez which has plenty of places around to grab some food including a Starbucks across the street inside a larger store. We found the front desk staff very friendly upon check in - no problems there. They really did make us feel welcome. Our room was not that amazing. It had what you needed - a working TV, a bed which we did find comfortable (I don't think it was that old) but it wasn't kept very clean. We kept finding random hairs dotted around and the bathroom didn't feel very fresh. There wasn't even an extractor fan - you just wedged the window open to let any steam out. There was a place to hand your clothes. Not a wardrobe or closet as such - more of a bar in the room. There is a pool within the grounds too should you want to use it! The breakfast wasn't that great either. One of the poorer quality Best Western breakfasts on our visit. Had we not kept finding hairs in the room and on the wall (yes the wall - check out the video!!) then I'd give it a 3/5 but as such, can only rate it 2/5 and based on our stay; would not recommend or return here.

We had a reservation for one night. We were a couple of hours later than we planned for and needed a ground floor room, so I called the hotel directly. The clerk said she would hold a ground floor room for us. She said she got off at 9:00 pm but if we arrived after that time, she would be sure and let the next staff member know about holding the room for us. We arrived before she left, and she was very friendly at check-in. She had put us in Room 317 which is ground level at the back of the hotel's property. She stated the room number is 317, but it is definitely ground level. She stated it is an older property. When we opened the door to our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a two-room suite! There was a couch, chair, computer desk and chair, microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, and large TV in that room. The second room had two queen beds in it and another TV. The beds were very comfortable! The only issue we had was hearing the people upstairs and next door, but after they quieted down, we slept great! We would definitely stay there next time we come through Cortez.

This is our favorite Best Western Inn. We are repeat customers. Everyone is so friendly and the rooms are super clean. And if you are pulling a trailer, they have a parking area for you. We travel with our pets and this is a very pet friendly motel. The location is central to the local restaurants and you are across the street from a major grocery store. I highly recommend you stay here.

This is a great property. Check in went very smooth, all though we wish all our rooms were close together. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool and indoor spa were amazingly clean, very nice to have access to after 8 days on the road. The breakfast area is small and was packed, but we were able to get coffee and a waffle for the road.

This place knows how to treat their reward members! We arrived rather late and not only did we still receive the first floor room we had requested, we were upgraded to a suite located along the courtyard, away from the road, and next to a relaxing fountain. Our suite had two TV's ( with fresh remotes) which had hundreds of channels, a full kitchenette, 2 sinks, and a separate jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Furniture appeared new and I loved the southwestern design on all the lamps, of which there were plenty. The bed was comfortable, much nicer than the ones we've had the last few days. We had to call down to find out how to turn on the jacuzzi. They really need to put some instructions in the room. The jacuzzi felt great after a long day of hiking. The only complaint I would have about the room is that the towel bars on the sinks are way too low. They need to be raised up. Breakfast was pretty good for a motel. There was biscuits and gravy, home fried potatoes, scrambled eggs with cheese, and sausage. I do wish more motels would serve bacon. There was outside seating available in the courtyard when the weather is nice. They even had a gift shop.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was good except that we had to enter the motel through a rear door which often experienced key card issues. Then you had to wait for someone to let you in or walk all the way around the motel to the front desk. We had key card issues every day we stayed here. However, the room was quiet, the bed good, the free breakfast extensive. It would have been better if more healthy options were available: all the dry cereals were high in sugar (but the nutritional info was posted); the scrambled eggs were over salted; none of the bread was whole grain.

good value for your money - room was very clean and large. Plenty of seating room as well as storage area. Lobby was clean, water and newspaper out for guests as well as computers. Bet part of this property - the staff - notably Eva - warm welcome, answered all questions ( which i always have a lot ) called a local restaurant for us - great host.! Breakfast spread was better than expected - every choice was there.

The folks here were great and the facility was wonderful. They went out of their way to take care of our groups needs! They had buckets of water and rags for our motorcycles. They also shuttled us to our restaurant so we could have an adult beverage without being concerned.

We were a group of 4 and the staff was very good and tried to accommodate and help us in any way. This is older facility but has been remodeled and repainted and everything worked. It is close to many canyons and National Parks and monuments and other attractions. We were surprised as to the size of the rooms.

Were greeted promptly and had a very nice gentleman to check us in. Had snacks up front with lemonade and punch. Liked having our room next to the car for ease of bringing our things in and out. Had a lovely sunset to enjoy. The room was a nice size, and the bed very comfortable. Had a laundry area and we were able to get our clothes done for the 2nd half of a long vacation. Only one dollar for a load and a dollar for dryer. Had a nice pool that we did not try out, but looked like others were enjoying a cool time in the pool. Would stay again if we are in the area again.

We stayed at Best Western one night. When I booked the hotel, I looked at pictures and read reviews. When I arrived, I thought, I got in the wrong place. The hotel looks like a 2 star motel. It has a great location. Our room was upgraded. It was clean, but all the furniture looked like from last century. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy, eggs, pastries, coffee. Everything was fine, but I wouldn't give 3 stars to the motel.

Best hotel stay of my Four Corners Road Trips. I got a king room through my best western rewards points and it ended up being almost the size of my apartment. Two huge rooms--the first with a sofa, desk, TV, fridge and microwave, the bathroom with separate sink just outside and the bedroom which had another TV with a huge jet tub which I definitely enjoyed. Breakfast was great with make your own waffle machine and there were two computers for use by guests. Great service and glad I stayed.

Stayed here on a motorcycle trip September 4th, 2019. We had booked another place in Cortez which was terrible so we relocated here. The front counter staff was very nice and helpful and the room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. A good place for an overnight stay.

From the moment we were greeted by Jaime to our quick departure out the back door, we felt so at home and welcome throughout our stay. Jaime gave us the personal touch. When I booked this reservation I requested a ground floor and in honoring our request Jaime went further by providing the last room that was closest to the back parking lot. We were able to easily transfer our luggage from our car to our room. Usually managing doors and luggage can be difficult but this hotel has a sliding glass door that stays open after you slide your card across the reader. I booked a room with two queen beds but we walked into a three room suite. The living area had an armoire where the refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plenty of counter space and a generous size sink where we could refill our water containers with the wonderfully tasting water. There was a television in each room and a variety of HBO channels were complimentary. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and the bathroom was spic and span. There was another sink/mirror separated from the bathroom amenities. We slept comfortably without a sound to wake us. The complimentary breakfast was tasty provided many options. the employee keeping the room clean and food stocked was extremely conscientious. I accidentally dropped the lid to the crock pot filled with a cheese sauce and the worker picked it up in seconds and proceeded to wash it (thank goodness it was plastic, surviving the fall).

Long story short: I had a car accident just before leaving, and the staff was VERY kind, generous, and helpful. They were concerned for my safety, they provided me with drinks and saved me breakfast, among other things. The property was very nice; beds, TV, grounds, all were fine. But the staff was GREAT!

I just stumbled onto this place, but it was a real gem. Lots of good places to eat, drink and shop within walking distance. It's also very close to Mesa Verde (which I visited after my stay). I also had my bicycle with me, and they have some excellent roads for biking.

Very nice place. Clean. Amenities include pool, hot tub, breakfast, etc. Located in center of town on main highway. Convenient to restaurants near Mesa Verti National Park. Nice sized rooms. I recommend.

Reasonably priced and clean. When we arrived, there was fruit flavored water and chips and salsa in the lobby. Jamie, at the desk, took care of us and recommended restaurants when we asked. We needed to do laundry but really wanted to get to dinner. He even offered to switch our wash to the dryer while we were at dinner, to help us out! Pools were nice and the breakfast was plentiful with hot options.

We were on vacation and reserved two rooms. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. The only thing that seemed off for us was how very small the bathrooms were. In particular, the sinks were so close to the shower/tubs that it made moving around in there hard. Otherwise, good rooms.

Our check in was very pleasant & easy. The staff was helpful & when we arrived to our room we had been upgraded without our knowledge! What a pleasant surprise. The room was clean & comfortable..... always appreciated. I talked to Eva about our billing & she was very kind and patient explaining to me that the $20 credit would be applied to our final billing. (Thank you soooo much Eva). As usual, the breakfast was hot & typical BW - eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, biscuits & gravy... waffles, pastry, yogurt, toast, bagels, cold cereal, fresh fruit, etc. I absolutely love their coffee - bold but not bitter! Very reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean place; friendly staff, nice pool area, right on the main highway so easy access to everything that we wanted to do; two grocery stores close by; Four Corners monument and Verde Mesa National Park within a short driving distance.

Everything was nice here. Helpful folks at check-in, and some nacho chips and delicious salsa (and cookies and mixed nuts) in the lobby. Our room was a “king suite” and was very nice, with a distinct “living room” and a bathroom and a bedroom. Loved the very quiet air conditioner! There was a little water feature outside our door—nice! Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, though crowded. A very nice stay in Cortez!

My family stayed here one night before visiting Mesa Verde, The property has a 60's motel vibe with most rooms opening to an exterior hallway facing the parking lot. We were upgraded to a suite which faced an inner courtyard that was quiet and shaded. While the property is old, it is very clean and well taken care of. It has some nice extra touches like chips and salsa in the afternoon and a better than average hotel breakfast.

Hotel options are limited in Cortez, but this BW was a reasonably good choice for us. We spent 4 nights in one of their 2-room "deluxe" suites and the stay was OK. The lack of an elevator was irritating when we had to schlep our luggage, and while the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel had a worn look to it. Our suite wasn't overly large, but we enjoyed having 2 rooms to spread out in. The towels were soft & fluffy and the bed was fine. Housekeeping did a good job keeping our room clean and comfy.

Great stay for Mesa Verde National Park. Location, rate, parking and desk staff were good. Our suite was huge with multiple electrical outlets, good air quality, slightly dirty HVAC filters, a window that opened, multiple seating options, two televisions, lots of counter space and 3 sinks. Great breakfast with bananas. No elevator for second floor.

Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Got a no cost upgrade to a 1 room suite (guess cause we're BW loyalty members...we joined the rewards club a few years ago, but haven't traveled that often, so very surprised & happy with the upgrade). Clean hotel that has been renovated. Doors open from the outside like the old motels/inns, with some rooms opening to parking lot, and others (like ours) opened into an indoor courtyard.Bed was comfy, free breakfast was decent (though not much room to move around all the tables). We stayed in Cortez to tour the Mesa Verde national park. Great town...very 50s vibe...even have an old timey drive in burger joint. Only about 10-15 min drive to park entrance, so good location, and several restaurants in walking distance.

This is a great go to couples Spa.. Absolutely love the large indoor hot tub with a waterfall. The breakfast is always fresh and delicious. And the staff makes the place perfect. Location is very Central to restaurants and shopping as well as the sights in the area

We had such a great time recently at this hotel. A nice large room, two pools (indoor and outdoor), great breakfast, and the people couldn't be nicer--they definitely went the extra mile. We couldn't have been happier!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were disappointed that the swimming pool wasn't open and they gave us an upgrade as compensation which was nice. The room was spacious and opened onto a garden area. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices

The choices in Cortez, CO are not many, but our stay at this Best Western was very good. The facility has all your needs: clean room, quiet place, good breakfast, indoor and outdoor pools and online check-in. Pleasant staff and a good location to stay for a visit to Mesa Verde National Park.

BW Turquoise Inn was great! Rm 200 was great and was perfect for our stay. Very comfortable and clean. 3 queens and a pull out sofa bed was a great surprise. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and even gave us fruit bags to go on the road.

We stayed at the motel while visiting the area. It's an older motel but it well maintained. There staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Great breakfast offering. The management runs an efficient and well maintained facility.

The location of this hotel was very convenient. It has an awesome hot tub!! I have never seen a hot tub so large and unique. Location to the park and restaurants was great. Very clean, spacious hotel. Our room had laminate flooring, which was nice.

Needed a place to stay, and this motel fit the bill. Our room was clean and quiet, had hot and cold water, and the A/C worked. Breakfast was decent, and the facility is in the middle of town and across the street from City Market.

We stayed one night as part of a Grand Canyon - Mesa Verde - Durango trip. Our room was quite satisfactory, although a bit quirky. We were near the stairway, under a porch, and our room had a somewhat odd layout. That said, it was clean, comfy, and relatively quiet. We were on the first floor and did hear some foot noise from above, but it was minimal and didn't interfere with our sleep. The lady at the front desk (Eva?) was exceptional. Breakfast was typical - maybe a little above average. Value was consistent with what we paid other places for similar rooms. Pool wasn't open yet, but we wouldn't have used it anyway.

Suite was expensive until we got the Military discount. Our room was nice with the fireplace inside. Breakfast was good. Had a lot of variety. Wish the hotel was nice all around, considering the price people pay.

The staff at the Best Western Turquoise Inn are the best anywhere we have stayed in quite some time. They are all so friendly and helpful. They go above & beyond to help. I am gluten intolerant, so was pleasantly surprised to find out they had some gluten-free options available for me at breakfast. They have the BEST breakfast food available, hands down, of anywhere we have stayed. To have some gluten-free options available too, PRICELESS.

Having fallen at Mesa Verde and faced planted an asphalt parking lot - I could not climb stairs. The staff at check in immediately rearranged our rooms and gave us a ground floor room. AND they gave my wife extra plastic bags for use as ice packs. The rooms were very spacious and exceptionally clean. We definitley recommend them.

The automatic door into the motel wasn't functioning. The room door jamb was split badly enough to eliminate any feeling of security. The second day of our stay there was no maid service at all. We had to get the night manager to give us clean towels, TP and morning coffee. I won't stay at another Best Western. Too many bad experiences. These guys used to be much better.

This was one of the best hotels that we stayed at on our whole trip it was very clean and Comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly and breakfast was awesome it was really good. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Just passing through on our cross country move. Hotel was convenient, clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool is seasonal so it was closed but the indoor spa/pool was open and perfect for swimming. Only 40 mins from 4 corners.

We stayed here for 3 days in order to hike the area during a cold snowy spell and our expectations weren't high. In winter the walkways /outdoor corridors were bleak and unkempt. However the room we had #407 (suite and at the back/ side) was large with a bathroom separating the lounge area from the twin beds. The beds were good but the thinness of the blanket (one!) meant we left the heater going all night. The water was hot and had good pressure after the first night and as reported by others, the bathroom fan was very loud but didn't need to be in the entire night so not an issue. The lounge area had a microwave and sink and fridge - all fine The breakfast was above average from what we've come across in USA. Still way too much plastic but some better food options than normal. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In all we'd return - mainly because it would be a case of better the devil you know etc. no other hotel looked better.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great attendant was super sweet. I will definitely be staying at this property again . The hot tub is amazing and very relaxing the suite with the fire place was great .

I felt very welcomed at this hotel. The staff is awesome. Especially Trecia. She was was very accommodating and made my stay there felt like home. I was there for only a night but wish it was more. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This is our second stay here and will do so again when we are in the area. The staff is great, rooms are large ,clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good food, and served neatly. Overall a wonderful base for sightseeing and enjoying this nice community.

was moving family and stopped here for one night. Pulled in about 8pm. Had car with tow behind trailer. had to park across the street in a shopping center lot but they gave us a tag to id vehicle. No issues in morning. Accepted pets, 2 dogs and a cat. Room had plenty of space. Beds were ok. In middle of town so a bit of a pain turning in and out. Breakfast was usual best western.

The help we received from the man who checked us in was awesome. He helped my husband park our truck and trailer. He helped us carry our luggage to the room he turned on our heat for us it was awesome. Every one needs this experience. A great place to stay. We will be back

Having travelled from Australia to see some of America we have found the Best Western group to have a high standard for the price. The Cortez hotel staff were cheerful and helpfull. We stayed 3 nights as it was central to many tourist opportunities. The room presentation was of a high standard. The breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard

If you are going to Mesa Verde Natl Park and don't mind the extra driving outside the park, this is THE place to stay. We got a great rate online but when we got to the front desk to check in, they informed us that the rate had gone down and that they were giving us the lower rate. What service! After all taxes and fees for 2 adults and 2 beds we paid $106 for 1 night. The room was clean, quiet with a comfortable bed and everything in working order. We were on the 2nd floor and had to maneuver stairs with suitcases but it was not a problem for us and I'm sure they have an elevator somewhere. We asked for recommendations on dinner and they sent us to Jimmer's literally in the next block so walkable. Jimmer's was great; see that review. The free breakfast was OUTSTANDING! Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese, ham (no bacon), make your own waffles with whip cream & Nutella; fabulous! They also had the standards, e.g., cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, muffins, toast, coffee, tea, juice, milk. I'm sure I'm missing some items as they had quite the spread; all included in the room rate. There was 1 person dedicated to refilling items and keeping the area clean. We could not have asked for better service or accommodations. I wish we would have stayed here for all 3 nights in the area. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Hospitality Is something you only appreciate when you have nowhere to stay. Lucky me! By some miracle i had kept the Best Western Turquoise Inn's phone number on my speed dial so when i found some of my plans and "you can stay with us anytime" promises falling through, I said a prayer and hit the speed dial.I explained what had happened, when i needed the room, and abracadabra, it was booked. Best Western knows how to look out for its guests and they really did a fabulous job by me.But more than that, the Turquoise Inn is a Cortez 'lady', she is always turned out to the nines, house proud as we used to say, and whatever little extra you may need, they'll try to help you. My forecast is for more trips to Cortez, next time I'll be staying with The Queen of Main Street.

The suite was great, everyone had a bed. The breakfast is also welcome, standard breakfast items, with something for everyone. The staff was friendly and welcoming with suggestions of when to see which attractions due to weather. We will make the Best Western Turquoise our destination for the 4-corners area. Good parking and the hotel is close to off site amenities like grocery, laundry and dining.

you know how to tell a good hotel--when you hate to leave! the staff felt like family after a few days! room was clean and quiet. the breakfast was great. they have a green chile sauce for the potatoe that was just spicy enough to get your interest, but not burn your mouth. Great job!

Very convenient location so you can walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and there is a nice outdoor pool. Staff at the main desk are pleasant and very helpful. Friendly staff! Breakfast is varied and well-maintained by a lovely gentleman. He's helpful and welcoming. Only complaint I have is that you can hear every footstep from the room up above. We happened to have some people that started pacing very early one morning. Since this is a heavily traveled town, the room was somewhat pricey. Location and time of year influenced the cost.

I stay at the Cortez best western every time I go there mainly for the very friendly,helpful staff , they are by far the best ones I have ever dealt with. They will accommodate me the best way that they can. the rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is very good with lots to choose from

We stayed in a suite which had two full size TV's, one in the seating room with refrig, sink, microwave. The beds were so comfortable and air conditioner was the best on the whole ten day trip. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. My husband thought the breakfast eggs were the best of all the hotels we stayed on this trip.

The hotel is very close to town centre for dining out. The food market just across the street is convenient. The hotel room is clean and feels comfortable. The breakfast was very poor, which is also the average standard in this country.

Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Awesome pet area with grass. Most hotels in this are dont have grass and if your dogs are picky them this is the place to go. The rooms are also accommodating to pets and the linens were clean.

We settled on this place as a central location for us to explore the 4 corners country of Colorado; our stay was 4 nights, arriving on a Sunday and leaving on Thursday. It turned out to be perfect for our purpose, and it was a nice quiet place to stay to boot! We visited Mesa Verde Park, 4 corners, Canyon of the Ancients, and Aztec New Mexico during our stay; and this hotel was perfect to use as a "headquarters". There was a fine variety for breakfast in the mornings, and 3 good restaurants within about 2 minutes walk of the hotel. If I return to this area of Colorado again,, I will make it a point to stay here again.

I love BW. But this place was one of the best places I've stayed. Nice rooms, helpful staff and great location. We were upgraded at check in which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and a wonderful retreat at the end of the day. Staff was kind and helpful.

We stayed here for one night to visit Mesa Verde. It was a 2 bedrooms suite, clean and comfortable beds. The hotel is a little old in some area. The breakfast was very good. No elevator and we have to carry the luggage up the stair. The hotel is on the main road, heading toward the Mesa Verde direction. All the restaurants and shops are also on the same road.

Our suite was really nice. Plenty of space. Everything clean. The complementary brakfast was good. Most evenings we has a session in the spa which can have more than ten people in it. Easy access on the ground floor. The staff took great care of us.

Lots of competition in Cortez. For attention they have expensive Sony Jumbotron road side sign and landscape.. Nice beds, clean and new looking carpet. Second floor has outdoor stairs. Some rooms are for pets. The next town in any direction is a good hour away. Mesa Verde Park is only five miles.

This hotel was a great. It is an older style hotel that has been nicely updated. The bed was comfortable. In most hotels of this style the soap for the shower is half a credit card size shaving. This one was a decent size for a shower. The staff was great, very knowledgeable of the area and recommended some fantastic places for dinner. Lots of variety at breakfast with a cute gift shop attached. We were traveling with our dog and there was a great grass area in the center where she could catch up on local news and do her business. It was clean, other visitors were kind and cleaned up after their pets. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a large room with plenty of towels and a very comfortable bed. The only problem with our stay here was that the hotel had two tour buses and that caused a traffic jam for breakfast. The tours were not noisy so we had a peaceful night. Breakfast area was very crowded as both tours were trying to leave early. This hotel is close to Mesa Verde National Park. The town also features some interesting murals and local museums.

The staff went overboard for our stay. We stayed in a suite, we had three of us. We had a bedroom, bathroom with sink inside, sink outside. Living area, with couch that made into a bed, with a sink, fridge and microwave. Each room had their own tv and air conditioner. Our bedroom had a fireplace. This was a perfect setup for us as we had three adults in the room. The bed was great, not too hard, not too soft. Lots of pillow options. We were up stairs right across the yard from the mountain fountain, which we used for a back drop for pre wedding family photos. Along with the fire place in the room. Perfect setup for our three days, staff was just wonderful in explaining the sites, local resturants and where to find things we needed at the last minute for the wedding. Hotel is not new, but has been updated and they did a great job at it. Would stay here again if ever in the area. We stayed in the far side of the hotel. parking was to the rear of the hotel, but very lighted parking lot. We left very early every day so we never got to use the breakfast area, but it was large and they do have a gift shop with local made items and jewelry. Grassy area by the fountain with some outside table and chairs. Room was very quiet, but you could here TV's in the other room when they were on, AC was a little loud when on, but worked great. We have stayed at other Best Westerns and this was not our first choice, but since they had a suite with a separate bedroom, we choose to stay here and wow, we are glad we did and the price was great for us. Perfect location for hiking, site seeing and a wedding.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel while exploring southwest Colorado. This is an older hotel which is clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. The 2 queen bedroom is average size but not large enough to leave our suit cases open. The bath area (tub/shower, lavatory and toilet) was very small and cramped with no ventilation. The breakfast area was good size and well organized, the breakfast had scrambled eggs with sausage, potatoes, with hot and cold cereal, toast, muffins, bagels and some fruit. Except the bath area this was a nice hotel.

All rooms face to the outside of the building. Judging from the crank-out single pane window in the bathroom, this motel is an older structure that could have been built as recently as in the 60's. The stairwells are heavily soiled from many years of traffic and could do with a muriatic acid wash to clean them up and a coat of sanded paint to lend safe friction under foot and a much more inviting appearance, as this is the first thing an occupant sees up close when ascending to the upper level. There is visible attention on the other hand to keeping the rooms looking presentable and clean inside. Furnishings are in keeping with the price for the room. I was not bothered by any noise from the other occupants, and did avoid taking a bottom floor for that reason. It was a welcome change from other motels to see that the shower faucet had a water saving flow control with a rain-type shower head. Hot breakfast, swimming pool and heated jacuzzi are among the amenities included in the price of $107 + tax.

We stayed one night, and our room was comfortable and clean. However, our room was also slightly noisy, as it was on the ground floor next to the car park and we could also occasionally hear our neighbours staying above us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which was very pleasant!

Very nice hotel and night lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant Latosha made checking in late easy and quick she helped us with finding things to do in the area. Breakfast was ok except the young man was very rude didn't act like he wanted to help us he was in the kitchen complaining the whole time we were their. The lady in the gift shop was nice .

We have stayed at this property 2 times now over the past 2 years when visiting family in the area, and enjoyed each stay. In our experience, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast good with much variety both hot and cold, pool and indoor hot tub great to have available, the grounds are pleasant, and rooms just right. First stay was a regular Queen bed room, the second in a King suite with jetted tub in master bedroom. Really liked the suite with all the amenities. We will stay here again.

We got a queen bed suite and was a really big room that worked perfect for our family. Nice comfortable beds , we were close to the breakfast area with some patio tables right outside our room. We were close to restaurants and stores.

My husband and I, along with two friends from Austria, enjoyed a lovely time in Cortez at the BW Turquoise Inn and Suites. The staff were so welcoming. The room was clean and bright. We especially liked the pool, and although we didn't try the hot tub, it looked inviting. Breakfast was huge!! It included both hot and cold items for anyone's taste in the a.m. Thank you.

Great location, decent breakfast, reasonable cost. Our room had vinyl flooring which is great for cleaning up spills, etc. The pool is a welcome respite from a long road trip. They have an indoor jetted pool/tub - we didn't go in because it was always really full. We were able to walk to a number of restaurants, and a market across the street. An interior courtyard with grass was great for our little dog to run after a ball - a little small for a big dog.

This motel is an older property, but it has been updated and well maintained. Our room was a little small, but clean and comfortable. There was a nice variety at breakfast. The motel is located on the Main Street in Cortez and is convenient to all things downtown.

This is a wonderful hotel! It was clean and comfortable, and the employees are very kind and helpful. Shout out to Trisha for being so welcoming and friendly! Our suite had 2 Queens, with a separate sitting room and a pull out couch- perfect for families. The breakfast options were amazing and everything tasted good. We loved staying here so much we decided to stay an extra day! Great place to stay.

We stayed here for two nights while we visited Mesa Verde. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offerings were diverse and plentiful. I can not say enough about how wonderful the staff was at this location. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. One of the best hotel experiences we had during our summer vacation.

We had an extended family group here. The rooms, pool, and breakfast offerings were comfortable. The Breakfast room was a bit crowded, but appreciated the overflow outdoor seating for a crowded morning. Our suites were a little inconveniently placed on the other side of the hotel from the regular rooms that the rest of the group were in. We had a little dog with us too and he was welcome as well.

Hotel room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Fridge, coffee and cable television. The wifi was strong. Friendly staff- very accommodating. Great location - near by restaurants, gas station and grocery store.

Great place to stay and enjoy life, one of the best Inn's we have stayed at during our 15 years of retired life. Strongly recommend if you wish to be taken care of by a group of professional and caring individules.

The hotel has a great breakfast hot tub and laundry facility which was good after ten days of traveling. The room is very comfortable and renovated nicely with a desk & three chairs. The lobby is charming and there is a gift shop with nice southwestern items.

Excellent place to stay if you plan on visiting Mesa Verde National Park. The hotel offers everything you expect from a Best Western - a nice room with internet access, a pool, and a good breakfast. Best Western is my favorite chain overall and I will continue to use them wherever I can. A special thank you to Trisha and Eva who made my stay great; they both went out of there way to be helpful during my stay.

Very nicely updated best western, stay at many, one of the nicest. Great breakfast, awesome staff. Very nice location, walk to dinner. Downtown Cortez offers a few good venues for food , we tried a couple, and were not disappointed thanks!

This is a courtyard-style motor hotel, where the front of the suites face into a small courtyard. The bedroom faced a small side street and I didn't notice any street noise. Kind of an interesting waterfall feature in the courtyard. The coolest feature was the very large indoor jetted pool. (Too big to be a hot tub.) The jetted pool was great for relaxing sore muscles. The Two Queen Suite was nice with very fresh interior finishes. The living room was large with a sofa, desk, TV, and a console containing a mini-refrigerator, microwave and wet bar. There was a lavatory inside the bathroom, and also one just outside. In the wall was a fold out ironing board and iron. The bedroom had a separate TV and a chair in the corner. The full breakfast was nice. They had what seemed to be a specialty. A crock pot with Colorado-Made Santiago's Green Chile. If I ever pass through the area again, I will plan my trip to stop here. Especially since it is a relatively short drive to Moab.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a suite room with a separate bedroom. It was very comfortable with one of the best beds on our trip. The staff are helpful and have done a good job making the property look nice. The morning breakfast was also very good. We will stay here again when back in Cortez.

Loved how the room was set up, it obviously had been remodeled recently and no carpet which was awesome. The sofa bed was in the front room and had its own television which was nice for the kids. Had a very good breakfast as well. Lots of amenities close to the hotel, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

Stayed here for access to Mesa Verde National Park. The front desk was very friendly and quick to check us in. The front desk even registered me for the $20 cash card special that was going on. I was greeted and thanked for being a BW member. Being a gold member didn't get me much though as our room, while on the 2nd floor, was facing the parking lot and main road in Cortez. In spite of that, it was very quiet and I got a great night's sleep. The front desk made good recommendations for dining places. Down side was breakfast. The eggs were runny and didn't seem quite done. The potatoes didn't look done as well. The waffles were very good though. The sink was inside the bathroom area, making it difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. There was no fan in the bathroom and the window in there had no shade so that the morning sun shined in and might wake you up.

Super clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was much nicer than most hotel offerings. Staff was great. Second floor room was quite. Great location if you're visiting the park. Two blocks to what may be the world's best Mexican restaurant.

We stayed one night here in an accessible room while on vacation. The room was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and nice. The location was great. The breakfast was good. what more could one want. We would stay here again.

We stopped in Cortez on our way down to New Mexico. We were treated so well, the room was so quiet and the breakfast was so good we stayed again on our way home. We are Best Western people and this is one of the best. Thanks!

Best Western doesn't disappoint yet again. Our room was good size, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Nothing over the top, but what you would expect from a BW property. They also offer a very good breakfast to get you going in the morning.

I can't remember the last time I stayed at a Best Western and I didn't expect much except for a small, clean room and a mediocre breakfast for budget-friendly lodging. I was quite surprised that the room was a well appointed one bedroom suite with 2 comfy queen beds. I appreciated the kitchen counter area with sink, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The sofa was the most comfy but it was nice to have someplace to sit and relax other than the beds. The extra bathroom sink located outside the bathroom door meant my husband and I could get ready at the same time and not be in each other's way. The continental breakfast was beyond continental and I appreciated having so many choices. It was nice to see gluten free options and I was hoping to see almond milk offered. Overall a very pleasant stay and I will definitely look at BW hotels in the future.

Went fishing to Cortez this past weekend, I've stayed at Best Western terquois inn before when I was working in the area last year and I was so impressed with the friendly employees at the hotel, they made me feel right at home and gave me a very reasonable rate

This is a lovely property, an older facility updated but still maintaining the small town feel with very friendly and helpful staff and the Mexican style interior cool courtyard with grass and a waterfall. Request a courtyard room! But the big surprise is the breakfast....huge! Have not seen the variety and options like this in hotels twice the size! And be sure to try the homemade chile sauce for the eggs.

The staff were amazing, all very friendly !!! The room was large. The bed was really comfortable. Very clean property. Breakfast was a very large assortment of items. I thought I lost my cell phone and the staff were very helpful in helping me locate it (in my car). Very close to Mesa Verde National Park. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Large, clean room, friendly staff, yummy breakfast & fast WiFi. Was in a great location in town (make sure you go eat at Main st Brewery & Once upon a sandwich!) 10mins drive to Mesa verde National park.

Very nice hotel for the money. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire place appeared to be clean and well cared for. Our room was large, clean, well stocked with coffee etc. OH, one of the few hotels we found with in room coffee maker :) Lots of channels on the TV, the bed slept very well. All around great place to stay.

Our stay started with very friendly and professional check-in staff. We've been BW members for years and so had accumulated a lot of points. The woman checking us in noticed our points total and said we were eligible for a free night. We've never had this offer before, so we accepted with pleasure. Our stay was excellent. With a free room that was clean and comfortable, we weren't looking for short-comings, so just enjoyed this nice surprise. We'll stay here again when in the area.

. We arrived at this hotel on a day of rain and snowy driving, the hotel was warm and welcoming. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly making us feel very welcome. Our room was large and comfortable.

The Turquoise Inn has all newly renovated rooms, and everything is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very professional, welcoming, and they all provide great service whenever anything is needed!

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years for business and pleasure and the staff, room and service are always very satisfactory. I always feel very welcomed and special requests are always accommodated 'with pleasure'.

The tub fit 2 and it was in the King bedroom. It had the bathroom with shower and toilet separate from the bedroom so our child didn't have to enter our room to use the bathroom or shower. It was a perfect set up and it was in between the living room and bedroom. The bedroom had a real door, unlike the Residence Inn King suite that had french doors with a huge gap. Alot of the LaQuintas have that same dumb french door in their suites. The breakfast was also nice and we stayed also at the one in Durango and like this one better. I'd passing this way again we will stay here and in this type of suite. Don't go to farm fresh bistro if they recommend, not great.

This Best Western is losing the race against time and competition. It's very conveniently located for visiting Mesa Verde National Park, and the rooms are large. But the "lick-and-a-promise" remodeling (boasted on its website and its electronic sign) didn't fix what's needed. This is an old fashioned park-outside-your-door motel with two stories. Tiny bathrooms don't have any ventilation, except a small window you wouldn't want to touch. Not enough electric outlets near the bed for charging devices. Poor lighting. Installing tile floors in the room was probably a good thing (replacing carpet, no doubt), but the room feels less-than-welcoming. Thin doors to the outside are "secured" with a small chain and a peephole. Breakfast is standard, and OK, but "hot" water for beverages was a euphemism. All staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly and helpful. But I'd stay elsewhere in the future.

The room was fairly large, and seemed to have been recently redone. It was quite chilly though, no matter how high we set the thermostat on the heater in our room. The front desk staff was pretty helpful, but breakfast was just full of staff being loud and kind of rambunctious. It was a bit off-putting.

We just randomly chose this hotel for a one night stay. We were VERY pleased. Front desk upgraded us to a suite which had just been renovated. It was great. Best and quietest night's sleep we have had in a hotel

A nice clean hotel in Cortez with a very good breakfast. A good location for seeing the Anasazi Cultural Center and other National Parks and monuments. Mesa Verde National Park is excellent. Would stay there again if in Cortez.

We got in late but were treated very well. Anything that we needed, they provided even when we needed a can opener for a food item we had. The gift shop was closed but opened for us anyway. So friendly and helpful.. Would definitely stay there again!

King Suite with a fireplace, at a great price. We stayed for business, early morning trail runs and visited Mesa Verde. Turquoise Inn was convenient to everything we like doing. If you like Mexican food, Gustavo's, only 3 blocks west, is the BEST.

We have often spent a night in Cortez traveling between NM & Utah and always stay at the BW Turquoise Inn. We find it very comfortable and most convenient to walk to several good eating and drinking establishments in this nice little town. The inner courtyard is especially refreshing in the summer. The staff is always very friendly & helpful. Rooms are very clean & comfortable.

We called and got a last minute reservation as we were traveling. When we arrived the gentleman at the front desk was so very accommodating. The room was in excellent shape. Very clean. The unit was very up to date. This was much appreciated. excellent breakfast. Check out was very easy and all the staff were friendly and had a smile on their face. We will definitely stay there again

Good location right off the highway in Cortez (we came in from Bluff, UT); easy checkin, friendly staff; room was clean and comfortable, nice beds, good sleep. No frills breakfast self service, disposable cups, plates, plastic cutlery- bring your own if you are on a mission to reduce singly use plastic (like me). Very good value one night in low season. Next stop- Durango.

Very helpful and considerate staff. Proactive and friendly. Hotel was clean and everything was in good working order. Location was central to a number of parks and recreation areas. Parking was secure and there was plenary of parking available.

This is a great place to stay in Cortez. The King Suite was perfect for our needs, friendly front desk service in both making our reservation and seeing to our needs during our stay. Comfortable, modern rooms, excellent bed, high marks all around. Great full breakfast. I will stay here again when we are coming through Cortez. Great town.

Hot water was unavailable on day of departure. It was 18 degrees outside and nothing but cold water. Received an unsatisfactory resolution. If I would have known there would not be any hot water I would not have stayed at this hotel. Instead I got a room at a discount and a very cold shower.

All staff-members were pleasant, cheerful and friendly. Clean and comfortable room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The parking lot was free of litter and safe. The grounds are well maintained. Ground floor room had no noise from above.

Always clean and quiet, with one of the best complimentary breakfasts you will ever find! Employees are always knowledgeable, professional and polite! The new, upgraded rooms are a quietly held secret and they awesome!

I have stayed at this hotel before while visiting Mesa Verde National Park. It's just a short drive to the park. I also recommend visiting the Anasazi Heritage Museum while here. They have remodeled this hotel since I stayed last. The rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. I would have given this hotel an excellent rating but it's an older hotel. I have to give a special shout-out to the staff. From check-in to check-out they were all fantastic. Breakfast is served here. It was nothing fancy but it served its purpose by starting my day off right. It's rare that I leave a hotel with a smile on my face, this one made that happen. Nice job staff, I will be back. Keep it up!

We have stayed here before and like the convenience to Mesa Verde and City Market across street. But the comfortable suites are lovely. You have a good nights sleep (although the TV station list was tempting!) then breakfast in morning before you leave for another day of traveling or touring.

Heading to Mesa Verde and stopped for the night. Was upgraded to a suite as a diamond member. Got some great recommendations for an early morning walk. Nice choices of resturants in town for 2 vegetarians. Not a problem with the hotel or breakfast.

This hotel was wonderful for our needs. Brittany at the desk was very helpful, polite and friendly. I really liked the set up of the hotel--we could back right up to our door to load/unload which is always a plus. The large room appeared to be recently remodeled with a wood laminate floor, fridge, and very comfy bed. I will stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

This hotel management ensures that it's exterior, common areas and guest rooms are consistently up-to-date, clean and well-maintained. I have stayed here numerous times and the staff is great at making me feel at home and goes the extra mile to make my stay a pleasant one.

This is a very clean and comfortable motel with a super good breakfast menu, food was fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable with spacious rooms. Great location, and easy access from the interstate. I can highly recommend this place.

This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms, that have been recently remodeled. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Cortez and it's within walking distance to our favorite in town restaurant. The breakfast is fresh and has some good options for all types of dietary restrictions. The staff is friendly. Overall good value.

The check in desk lady was very friendly and had a great smile. She up-graded us to a suite. The breakfast was about you would expect EXCEPT they had some EXCELLENT green chili to add to the eggs and sausage..

This BW had very clean rooms and a great tasty breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful and answered questions we had. We would stay there again. We were locked out of our rooms and they explained if was from the fall back and offered to re-key our keys to get back in.

Nice clean place to stay with very friendly sweet staff. We were in town for third season deer hunt. The staff are very friendly helpful people. The continental breakfast was the best hotel provided breakfast we have ever eaten.

My wife and I planned to visit Mesa Verde National Park and this was a good choice for a place to stay. It is comfortable and in a good location to see the sites in Cortez, and is close to Mesa Verde.

Very clean, beautiful suite room, fireplace, 2 TV's, very comfortable bed, quiet room and good breakfast to start the day. The hotel lobby was also clean and lovely. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a problem with noise next door & were promptly moved to a quieter location. Fortunately it was shoulder season so a room was available.Thanks so much to Trisha for her prompt & friendly service.

You owe it to yourself to try this hotel - it has been remodeled lately and the rooms are great - clean, well cared for and great amenities (fast internet, fridge, large shower, coffee..). And the breakfast that is offered in the morning is GREAT, as opposed to some of the other 'continental breakfasts' that are offered by the competition. Location is great with really good Thai and Indian restaurants a couple of blocks away and Mesa Verde 10 miles down the road.

I spent four nights in a King Suite at the Best Western-Cortez on business. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located. It is about 4.5 miles from Phil's Trailhead where you'll find excellent mountain biking trails! I also walked to the town center for dinner at the Farm Bistro. It was a half a mile. Lovely town with friendly people.

Stayed here in September, with my brother and his wife. We were upgraded to a suite each! They were both spacious and very clean with all amenities. Jaime on reception was very helpful and suggested La Casita for dinner; we walked there and had a fantastic meal. Breakfast was good; although the room was quite busy. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful hotel. Best Best Western Hotel we have ever stayed in. All staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Front desk called our room after we got there to see if all ok with our room! Tricia made sure we got a ground floor room for our stay! The girls at the breakfast were so helpful and pleasant! The lowest subpar Best Western we've stayed in, at a MUCH HIGHER price! Over $160+ for 2 people and a pet! Guest below us complained about the office chair rolling on the floor and while outside, people clearly drunk, yelling obscenities at each other. Just an overall disappointment with THIS Best Western compared to the numerous Best Westerns we've stayed in, during our cross country travels.

Pretty good hotel with point redemption. As diamond member, was told we got upgraded to king suite. Room was on 2nd floor, without elevator, so took some effort to get our luggage up. There was also lots of leaves on hallway floor. Breakfast was good. We had 1 night stay before going to Mesa Verde NP the next day. This was good place for that 1 night stay.

This was the best hotel stay ever. In all areas of services provided. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable --a little hard since I sleep on a waterbed (yes, a waterbed). If I wasn't used to a soft bed, this bed would probably have been just fine. We had a gas fire place in our room --romantic! The staff were super helpful and professional. This was a great experience even though, we were in town for a funeral.

Today is October 17th At first this place seemed to be nice until i saw that there were literally bed bugs crawling on the first matress. I did a little inspection looking for my safety I found a dead bug appearing to be a gnat was sticking on a pillow. This place is straight up disgusting. I stayed in room 401 The first mattress was the worst, seems like they haven't changed those sheets nor washed them. Please for all the people that stayed here check your beds. Horrible experience DISGUSTING!

A very nice and affordable place to stay near Mesa Verde National Park. The staff stand out in being friendly, helpful, and a starting your day with a smile. I would stay there again in the future and recommend it.

Fabulously comfortable, great experience. Used mobile check in and check out, which was very easy and convenient. The complimentary breakfast was REALLY good. Biscuits and gravy along with those eggs and home fried potatoes? Yep. Waffles. Of course. Making your own chocolate waffles, or waffles with blueberries, and/or pecans, and or strawberry topping or real whipped cream topping...WOW! Really nice! The rooms were super clean and decoratively very nice. Wish I'd realized they had a year-round, indoor sauna pool! Just have the best things to say about our stay...but lastly, the FIREPLACE....loved it!

All of the staff were quick to respond, funny, joyful, and very knowledgeable. Breakfast had the best green chili that I put on eggs, biscuits, hash browns, and ate by itself! We stayed for business and were treated very well.

I can't imagine staying at any other hotel in Cortez. The Best Western Turquoise Inn has a great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a delicious and extensive breakfast every morning. If there is any downside to this hotel it would be that, during busy times, the parking situation and the availability of seating in the breakfast room can be difficult. I highly recommend the Best Western Turquoise Inn when visiting or passing through Cortez, Colorado.

2 couples traveling across several states. This was a very nice and clean hotel. The only thing was, the pool was drained and it seemed like it was not going to be used for the summer. The next day, I went on there website, it shows an indoor pool or hot tub of some sort but not sure where it was.

Well kept property. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Good wifi. Room seemed newly decorated. We were able to stay in one of their suites. A separate living room and bedroom. A fire place in the bedroom. Two tvs . Would stay again next time in Cortez. The breakfast was exceptional.

The hotel staff was excellent, they up graded our room to a suit with a fire place for being diamond members. The staff was very knowledgeable about restaurants in the area with good choices . This hotel was in a good location to visit monument valley. I would recommend this hotel for convenience.

We came to this hotel because it offered suites and it was recently remodeled. We loved the breakfast each morning, a new flavored waffle was offered each day. The breakfast area had more tables than most places we have stayed. The breakfast Staff is friendly and making sure we were happy and had plenty of food available. The rooms were beautifully remodeled. They have an inner court with a waterfall with Chairs for relaxation. They have a gift shop with crafts made by Native Americans and very friendly staffs that are knowledgeable with the items they sell. The front desk has lemon aid, which was a treat. We will return.

This motel is well located in Cortez. The staff was very accommodating, especially the breakfast crew. They went out of their way to provide a better than usual breakfast experience. Unfortunately, due to its age, the room was noisy due to road noise, but especially due to the sounds of folks overhead.

Room was small and in need of remodeling. Bed was too soft. Plumbing fixtures functioned okay but need to be replaced. Breakfast was adequate and served well, but could have included more healthy options such as whole wheat bread, etc. I expect more from Best Western than I got at this facility.

Well, we got in early, but tired and they worked to find a room that was ready for us - that was a pretty big deal. I have been to other places that are sticklers for the "moment" you can check in. So - huge thank yous! The room was spacious and clean and nicely appointed. There was a nice sized fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker and a tub - everything I could want. There are two pools. A large outdoor pool with lots of lounging areas for the sunbathers. And the indoor pool was like a grotto. Kids loved it - and so did the older folks. There is a handicap lift to help people who need help - get in and out. I have not seen that before. The front desk staff was very welcoming. And - there are snacks! When we checked in, there was a fruity drink with bananas in it - very refreshing. And chips and salsa. Breakfast was very good. They had the usual things like fruit, yogurt, cereal, waffles, sausage patties. There were also over hard eggs - instead of the ubiquitous scrambled eggs. AND an excellent green chile sauce. Not too spicy but not too gentle. You felt like you were indeed in the southwest. Nice little gift shop and you are close to downtown restaurants (walking distance). I had a great visit here.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, easy to find, very enjoyable and relaxing, even though we were just passing thru on this trip , we will for sure stay at this hotel again, when we travel or visit mesa verde or the casino

Upon seeing a crowded parking lot and an average looking building, I expected a mediocre experience. Surprisingly, our second floor room was spacious, clean and quite comfortable. Bright bathroom lighting and plenty of mirrors, along with quality toiletries amplified the experience. The breakfast area offers more choices than similar chains and adds a nice touch with locally themed food. An affordable gift shop is a bonus.

Hotel was nice, pretty clean. Employees were friendly and helpful. Room was a little small. We needed a comfy sofa or chair to relax in. Bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was good. Would have liked a bigger variety of pastries. We had a nice stay.

Of all the properties we stayed in, in our recent trip covering Southern Colorado this property was the best one. for the price in my opinion was very good. A large flat screen tv with full tv guide, two large Queen beds with a choice of pillows, large comfy chair with a footstool and a desk. Coffee machine with capsules and very good coffee, extra capsules supplied at reception. Fridge and a microwave. Very comfy beds and room cleanliness spot on, nice shower and bath combo, only thing was the sink was in the main bedroom. Yes it is on the design of a motel, but was also very popular and was full most night we were there, very pleasant receptionist who said hello every time we passed by. Reasonable breakfast although they did a lot of chilli, not our taste being British but we got by with cereal, eggs which were cooked fresh until they put chilli powder on them, yoghurts and toast. Although on the main road never heard the traffic and I am a very light sleeper. It also had an indoor and outdoor pool plus jacuzzi.

We were pleasantly surprised. Everyone we had contact with were very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Tons of choices. The lay-out of the hotel was very appealing. Didn't realize we were in the middle of Cortez. If in Cortez don't hesitate to book a room.

Best Western in Cortez Colorado, very nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, good location, parking lot looks small, I think is limited. Good internet, ok breakfast. Outside swimming pool. Inside Hot Tub. Worth to stay

This hotel was a great find and the rooms we had was very nice. Clean large King Suite was a deal and the location is great. Fortunately we have a handicap permit so parking was great but it looked limited. Breakfast was great as well and was a thumbs up. Would definitely book here again and would be sure to get ground floor.

Good price and a great location right at the gateway to several national parks in Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. However, the rooms carpeting needed to be cleaned or replaced and the bathrooms were very small the door barely cleared the sink and toilet. The windows in the bathroom were the old crank to open type I used to encounter in older hotels. The rooms overall could be updated. However, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable and checking in and out was a breeze. The price is also a good value considering where the hotel is placed on the map if you are vacationing. Just be prepared for small bathrooms that look like they were designed for kids, not adult, if you stay.

Close to Masa Verde so quick and easy access. The room was clean and neat. The beds at BW as always seems comfortable. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, did not have to wait for anything. I would again recommend this BW Hotel and because it is so close to Masa Verde, I would defiantly stay here again.

This facility is well located and a short drive to many of the National Parks. Rooms were very clean, well appointed with Wi-Fi and good breakfast. Very comfortable 3-day stay. Front desk staff were helpful and very friendly.

Great value! Pricing is excellent, location is super, and the rooms are neat and clean. The front desk lady (Brittany) was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. She did a super job and made us comfortable and welcomed!

We paid so much more for bad hotels in Flagstaff, this was a welcome surprise quality to cost ratio. Nice hotel. Worth it.

We have stayed here several times and find it conveniently located to nearby restaurants and other amenities. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help, if needed. Although it is near the main road, it is reasonably quiet.

Clean, friendly, nothing that they don't have....great price!!! Convenient and easy drive to Mesa Verde. Staff is right there, ready to help. You won't be sorry! Pool, hot tub, great breakfast, wonderful gift shop.

Rooms were very nice, clean and updated. The night manager was very helpful and friendly. She let us know that there was a motorcycle wash and said that we could park our bike up front by the office in case it would rain. We had a very nice stay, room was GREAT , breakfast was awesome. Only one problem, some one decided to put a scratch in the gas tank on the motorcycle while it was parked overnight in front of the office. I called to see if they had camera's in the lot but they did not. You know how Harley owners are about their bikes!

This was our final overnight on our 5500 mile 26 day motorcycle road trip. We were recognized as returning guests at check-in and well treated as per our Diamond Rewards status. The breakfast experience was excellent including delicious scrambled eggs which were not over-cooked as is the case in most hotels.

I will admit that I was not expecting much from Cortez. After a long day of driving, the plan was to stay here before our next day jaunt to Mesa Verde. What a pleasant surprise! The jacuzzi spa was open until midnight, and it was just what I needed. I have never seen a more unique and unusual concept. It was big enough to fit the 3 of us with more than ample room to move around. The temperature was perfect. The jets were awesome. The whole concept was impressive. You will never find a more unique jacuzzi spa concept complete with a ripping waterfall cascade. Our rooms were amazing, and if you are going to Mesa Verde, this is the place to stay. The suite room had a queen bed and a separate room right inside the doorway with a pull out sofa bed. The queen bed room had a privacy door which in effect gave us 2 rooms for the price of one. The staff was courteous, kind, and helpful. We were treated well. We would definitely go back to this location. It was simply a pleasurable stay. The only issue I had was that it was the typical Best Western breakfast fare. Not very imaginative.

This was a great choice for my family's trip to Mesa Verde. We stayed in one of the 2 Queen Suites that has a sleeper sofa in the separate living area. It was very nice to be able to sleep 5 family members comfortably. The location was perfect, right in the middle of town with lots of eating options within walking distance. The outdoor pool was nicely heated. We didn't try the indoor pool. The only negative we experienced was the Wi-Fi. When it worked it was great, but sometimes we had trouble connecting.

This hotel met our needs. We needed to leave early the next morning for an early tour of Mesa Verde. The breakfast was at 6:30 which allowed us time to get up there. The rooms were nice with plenty of space.

We had a great night, and the check in and check staff were spectacular! They did everything to make us feel comfortable and at ease. They made sure we had a ground floor. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

The room was very large. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was just average. There was a covered upstairs porch. Wish we would have had more time to sit and enjoy that. I was surprised when I got home and checked my credit card and discovered a $30 charge. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Good location and large room are the only positive mark here. Everything else is on the negative side. Very hard to find parking in the evening, both front and back. We stayed in the back in suite area, and people parked in un-organize fashion. Internet was non existing in room we stayed. Other rooms were on and off the whole time. Breakfast served by horrible staffs. Not sure because the hotel owner policy or staff members, but 30 minutes before breakfast time end, most of the foods were gone and did not see any re-supply.... at all. Ice maker in upstair was broke. Front door stuck, very hard to open with electronic keys. Bathroom light cover loose, making noise when open bathroom door. I am not picky when staying at hotel, but this one was the worst I see at BW brand, at this star level.

Adding the word "Suite" to your name or saying that the rooms were remodeled doesn't make this place anything more than a very tired third rate motel. Best Western seems interested in upgrading their reputation. However, this place does not do that. Our "upgraded" room included an ac that didn't work, a torn lamp shade, battered cheap wooden furniture and a total lack of style ... and oh yes -- very lumpy pillows. The outside area was poorly kept, the parking lot cracked and pot holed. The crowded breakfast room had the appeal of such a room in a factory and was next to a broken down indoor pool ... we went across the street to a Starbucks. On returning after dinner there was no space left to park. The lot was filled with cars, trucks and motorcycles. The clients seem to be a mix of tourists, transient workers and bikers. The only high note was the very friendly reception. There is NO reason to stay here. Cortez has several new, mid and upper range motels. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Nick

Our family stayed in this Best Western during our stay in Cortez. We were very pleased with our very spacious room with wooden floors. The room was very clean! We would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The Cortez Best Western Turquoise Inn is clearly an acquired old roadside motel that has been purchased and renovated. If the price and ratings lead you to expect a typical BW experience, you will be sorely disappointed: the rooms, especially in the front part of the hotel, are just a step above Motel-6. Rooms have new furniture, pillow top mattresses, and some new tile/countertops in the bathrooms, but the doors are splintering (see photo), the under-window air-conditioning units are noisy, the outside walkways are a mess, and the cleaning crew must have been ordered to skimp at every opportunity. The seal on the bottle of complimentary mouthwash in our room had been broken and the bottle refilled, and the shampoo bottle had been refilled to the brim and was leaking out on the counter. And the mattress pad was dirty and badly stained (see photos). We didn't feel safe using anything in this room. Moreover, the hotel attracts a rowdy customer base--kids were running up and down the second floor walkways, and people were yelling at each other on the porches throughout the night. Several times kids banged loudly on our door, either mistaking it for their own or playing pranks. Parking is also very cramped and insufficient for the hotel--people had to park in every nook and cranny. And the TV remote only works from about 3 feet from the screen, though there are plenty of directTV channels if you want to get up and walk to the TV every time you want to switch channels. There is an outdoor pool tucked in the corner at the front of the hotel, an indoor jet-pool 'spa,' and a breakfast room. The free breakfast was ok, but not great. Hot items included scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, and make-your own waffles. Juices, bananas and apples, a few breads and cereals, and a few kid-sized Danimals yogurts were the other choices. The staff was very friendly. There is a nice grass courtyard and fountain area off the breakfast room with rooms away from the parking lot. It looks newer than the rest so I'd recommend asking for a room there instead of the streetside ones. Having seen and visited other hotels in Cortez I'd definitely say this one is not in the top 5. Certainly not a typical Best Western.

Traveling with family, requested a suite and received a lovely large room. Enter into a sitting area with TV, fridge, micro, coffee maker, sofa sleeper and comfortable chair, also a desk area. Bath area between this room and the bedroom with 2 nice comfortable queen beds (nice large area, not crowded ) The bath area complete with a sink inside and one outside, nice touch. Linens nice for both bed and bath. Great shower head and lots of hot water. Nice amenities also Bath and Body Works. Breakfast area a little crowded, but lots of good and assorted food. Sitting areas both inside and outside on the patio. We really enjoyed sitting there. Our only complaint was that we had to climb the stairs to our room on the second floor. I am a Sr. citizen and when I go for 3 days I pack for 10, so was hauling around a heavy suitcase and ditty bag and other items necessary for my comfort.

Clean rooms and attentive Staff made our stay very comfortable. Good morning Breakfast and good coffee. Quiet room too. Located in a good part of town near restaurants. Great Authentic mexican food at Gustavo's restaurant. Easy access to Highway 160.

Good location in Cortez for access to Mesa Verde and Four Corners monument. Our 2 queen suite was comfortable and quiet. Don't arrive at breakfast too late or there won't be anything left. Seems they start shutting it down 15-20 minutes before official ending time. This is a decent hotel for the price.

Clean spacious room, bed AND pillow very comfortable. Very helpful and caring staff. Breakfast is good. 30 minutes from Durango and an hour or so from Telluride. Stayed at this hotel on a number of trips and will continue to do so in the future.

Room was very clean and was good for our needs. I got a good rate. Breakfast was included and good, standard Best Western. Friendly Staff. The hotel is old, but don't let that steer you away, like I said the room was clean. It is a 2 story hotel with no elevator, and one does not have to go through the lobby to get to your room. I guess one would call it an open air entrance to your room.. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that I thought the common walk ways could be cleaner. I guess this could be difficult being outside. I would return and recommend this hotel. Close to several good restaurants.

This Best Western was perfect. I was traveling with other family members and had asked for rooms close together. They were next door to each other. There was a court yard just outside our rooms where my grandchildren could relax. They loved the pool although it was small. We all slept well in the beds. The A.C. worked very well and were quiet.

The front desk personnel as well as all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially tricia. The beds were great, it was clean. My grandkids loved the out door pool and we all loved the large in door hot tub, Good Breakfast. Good location to Mesa Verde National PARK. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.

Our room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable, except for the hide-a-bed (which is the nature of those beds). Great water pressure in the shower. I loved the inner courtyard for breakfast. It was very peaceful. Not something you usually expect for a hotel breakfast. My kids loved the hot tub. I think it is the biggest hotel hot tub I've ever seen. I would stay here again and I am getting really picky about hotels the more I travel.

We really enjoyed staying here. Everyone at the motel was was extra nice and friendly. We arrived early because of rain and were able to check in. The employees were extra friendly. I would recommend this place to any one.

On this Senior games trip we are also taking a mini vacation. Mesa Verde NM was our objective. In Cortez, CO., just six miles from the entrance to this Nat. Monument, is this property. Just right for what we needed. This is a National Monument that everyone should visit and put this property on your list of place to stay. We've been here both summer and winter. There are several good places to eat and all have great service. Also the Four Corners is not that far away.

the motel was great . everything was in order. But Trisha knows her stuff. I witnessed over and over again her giving guest information. She was spot on ... everything from a vegan menu restaurant to activities to a restaurant with a diverse menu. Thank you Trisha!!!

After my experience with a choice hotel in this area we called best Western and they had a room for us. We have stayed at this hotel befor.It has the best breakfast in town for a motel. Also very clean rooms and a very Great staff. Thank you for good people . I highly recommend this place.

Room was good, staff was very friendly, we didn't have a reservation some times you get better deals when you just walk in I wasn't too concerned considering there were several other hotels down the road. Good breakfast and a little awkward with only stairs no elevator but we servived! I'm sure if we asked someone would have assisted us. I was pleasantly surprised. No issues with the room.

The stairs to the outdoor pool are slippery. The hand rail of the outdoor pool is wobbly. My wife slipped and fell hitting her knee on stairs. Five days later her knee still hurts. The morning we checked out we went to the market across the street, when we came out, there was an ambulance near the pool pulling someone out on a stretcher. Now my family had just saw a father & his two boys heading to the pool, hopefully they weren't hurt. Maybe someone in the hotel had a natural crisis. The door to room 108 is very difficult to open, the door is jammed. As I turned the handle, I would have to drive my shoulder into the door to open it. The bathroom could be opened, but it couldn't be closed. The handle did not work. Which being on the first floor made me very uneasy about leaving belongings when we left the room. When we checked in we overheard that the hotel was full when the guest in front of us asked. Which why I didn't ask for another room.

Had a nice stay here. The room was very clean except it needed a mopping in one spot. Very good place to stay for Mesa Verde, near the center of town and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff was extremely nice and the breakfast was a nice addition.

A nice motel with a friendly service. We had a big room that was comfortable. We had three problems: a. the Wifi didn't work ( there was some problem in the hotel ) - the second time it happens to us in the best western. b. One of the air conditions in the room made a lot of noise so we couldn't use it. c. One of the air filters in the bathroom was very dirty. Breakfast was nice and that;s it.

Wonderful people, very accommodating. We stay here every summer when visiting friends. Close to Mesa Verde National Park and Four Corners and a nice visit to Durango. Easy to book online for special discounts. Reservation desk very helpful to fill our special requests. Great breakfast and nice atmosphere!

Our family of 5 had very nice accommodations in a suite. The room was nicely appointed and felt newly remodeled. The breakfast had a good variety of food and the premises were clean. We would stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is a "A+".. newly remodeled hotel and very clean and well kept. Well worth the $$. Staff was amazing! Everyone went out of their way to make my stay great! Will definitely stay here again when back in Cortez!

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over the years. The staff has always been exceptional and along with the upgrades to the property, thus continues to be our choice to stay when in the area.

Good breakfast with a decent sized area. Our room had 2 queen bed with a sofa and small living room. The room was very clean. We arrived around 10:30 pm after a long drive. We wish we could have been there earlier to enjoy the pool.

My family really loved the suite we were in. It was very clean and had very comfortable beds. The breakfast provided was delicious. I would definitely stay here if I'm ever around the area again. Excellent overall service.

We typically stay at several motels on our way to our final vacation destination. This motel far exceeded the average "one night stay." The room was clean and modern, mattresses were firm, and after a hard day's travel, the motel was fairly quite, considering there were lots of families with younger children staying at the same time we were. The morning breakfast area was well stocked with full meal options and there were great restaurants well within walking distance.

The hotel was nice and clean. Rooms were spacious. Front desk was super nice. I would recommend getting to breakfast when the first open, it gets super busy. The indoor pool looked nice from a distance though I did not get in.

BW Turquoise Inn is located in Cortez, just 30 minutes from Mesa Verde NP. Hotel has large renovated rooms. Our standard room was very big and fully equipe with coffee machine and fridge. the a/c system was a little bit noisy. Hotel has a little outdoor pool to refresh from high Arizona temperature and a very nice indoor hot tube. There's also a laundry corner that comes in handy! Free hot continental breakfast according to BW standards

As I have said in previous post, Best Westerns are hit or miss. They blew me out of the water with this one. We showed up to a suite with 2 queens and a pull out couch. Very clean, nice decor, and very comfortable. Breakfast was also wonderful. The staff was attentive through the whole visit. The one concern was the back parking lot. It is not very well lit, and once we parked and got out, there was a guy laying against a car that was obviously not his. We could barely see him, and had to go get management. Still an amazing hotel but make sure you are aware back there.

We loved this hotel. Do not let the exterior fool you. We had a two queen, one sofa suite for a family of six. Much to our surprise there were two separate rooms, two tvs, three sinks and lots of room. Also there was outdoor seating to hang out. My daughter played her guitar near the waterfall. The pool was nice and cool. The indoor hot tub nice and relaxing. Nice free breakfast and super friendly staff! I highly recommend!!

When we arrived there was a problem with the reservation, and to add to the potential problem was the fact that the hotel was full. Well, Jamie the front desk person couldn't have been MORE helpful. He managed to " find us a room" and ease our worries. And we had booked two rooms. He handled it . We had 308 ( first floor), and I believe it was an upgraded room. It was wonderful. It is not a new hotel, and looks like it just recently became a BW property. Breakfast? Pretty darn good, and there were two folks that were constantly replenishing the items--it was very busy. They too, were most gracious and helpful. We reticently signed up for the BW rewards program. We are glad we did . IT was a pleasure staying there

The staff went above and beyond when we found ourselves broken down and no rental cars available in the area. They got us checked in super early and were so nice at a time that was so hectic and hard for us and our four kids. Great suite and great rate.

Rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. Room was spacious and comfortable. Stayed in a suite and the jacuzzi tub was phenomenal. Beds were ever so comfy, providing us with a good nights sleep. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It's worth paying a few dollars more for the comfort. The breakfast offerings was the best offered at any hotel I stayed in on my 7 day road trip through SW Colorado. I liked it so much that I tired to change my reservation from the hotel I was already booked into for next city I was going to, but that Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites but it didn't have any vacancies. This chain will be the first one I look for on my next road trip.

The individual at the desk was very kind, humorous, and a pleasure to talk with. Checking in was very easy, and we were happy to have such expedient service. Our room was very nice; clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very nicely displayed, and there many choices. Our breakfast was very good.

Best Western is always my first choice to stay when out of town. They are always clean. The breakfast is always good. Friendly staff that care about their customers. They always try to accommodate you as to your room needs are concerns. Not much else to say. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I booked this hotel sight unseen for the last leg of our "let's explore Colorado" trip. I usually take the time to view images of a given hotel before I book. Not the case here. WHAT a nice surprise. While they are upgrading slowly but surely, it was the SIZE of this hotel that stood out for us. Great stopping point, & not too far from 4 Corners/Monument Valley.

We had a long drive and were so glad we booked the Turquoise Inn- Best Western in Cortez, Colorado. We loved our visit! The landscape and sunset and the mountains were beautiful. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. The staff was so kind. The breakfast was exceptional. We were ready to continue our journey. Cortez is very close to Mesa Verde National Park and we visited Chimney Rock National Landmark.

This hotel is centrally located, across the street from the city market, and a quick walk to the best bakery in town. Many eateries were within 3-4 blocks. Book ahead because the hotel frequently sells out during summer and numerous people were turned away by 4: p.m. Monday-Thursday the week I stayed. I'm sure the weekends would be as busy. Staff point out that the hotel had a million dollar renovation. The renovated part was obvious and the off-gassing was noticeable, but not intolerable. My room was a suite with 2 queen beds. Suite meaning bigger room as opposed to really spiffy experience. The fridge froze everything in it, but I considered myself lucky. Most others complained of a non-working fridge. The mattress was very comfortable, but the bedding was a bit thin and I felt like a light blanket would have made the night more comfortable. The bed and pillows were not overly firm. The tv in the living area did not work. However, the large screen in the sleeping area was quite sufficient for the news. The cable service provided infomercials, sports, a few programs and pay-per-view movies. The bathroom had a harsh fan that came on when the light switch was flipped. the fan sounded like someone was taking off at the airport. It created too much of a draft when showering, so bathing was a darkened experience. The suite had air-con in the sleeping area as well as another unit in the front sitting room, so the long set-up was comfortable. My bedroom window faced the main drag and traffic noise filtered in. The suite had an odd set-up. I would think the sleeping room would be on the quieter courtyard rather than on the noisier traffic side, but no one asked me. Thankfully, Cortez shuts down fairly early so the traffic noise was do-able. The second floor, east wing ice maker was broken, but the unit in the breakfast room spit out plenty of ice to re-supply a small cooler. The hotel breakfast was nasty, so I went across the street to the Pie Maker bakery and enjoyed a very good breakfast.

Hotel is only 20 minutes from Mesa Verde NP, in the heart of Cortez. Restaurants, Grocery Store in walking distance. Still working on the renovations, which was no problem at all. 35 minutes from the 4 corners, in the middle of nowhere, with native Americans selling their products.

Very busy week, bathroom cleaning could have had better quality control before letting guest in. Check in staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was large and well appointed. Wifi worked great, extra parking in the back worked out well for small truck and trailer.

We've stayed at the Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites, Cortez, COLORADO several times and have never been disappointed. We use it as a base from which we explore the surrounding interesting landscape or as a waypoint on our way to NM or Durango. We recommend it to you and your family.

No problems with ths stay. The jacuzzi pool was the best I have ever experienced--large and pretty. The kids especially enjoyed it as they could actually swim around in it. The people at the front desk were helpful in showing me where to go for more information. The room was clean and roomy. I was pleased to find mouth wash among the amenities. My whole family enjoyed the stay and said it was the best motel we stayed in on our trip. The kids liked the waffles for breakfast and the grown ups were glad that there were fruit options. The location is perfect for going to Mesa Verde or the Canyon of the Ancients. It is also not far from Shiprock and Four Corners.

We stayed in a suite since there were 5 of us. Not a very large room but sufficient for a one night stay. The rooms have been semi updated with granite countertops, mini fridge and microwave. We had a separate sink outside the bathroom plus a small bar sink in the living room. The shower head was wonderful and beds comfy. The overall feel of the hotel is a little tired, but I wouldn't let that stop me from staying there again. Tricia at the front desk was super helpful. Breakfast was disappointing as they had run out of waffle batter by the time we got there and having a picky eater child meant no breakfast for him.

Dirty bathroom (unflushed toilet that stank). Nonexistant breakfast because of lack of planning for a crowd on a holiday weekend. Desk staff not helpful. Mary in the gift shop was great! Parking a trailer was challenging --had to park in back without monitoring for security.

We stayed here for a night the day before the grand re-opening so there were quite a few workmen around in the morning but they didnt disrupt us at all. The room was perfectly good, and had been redecorated (although the outside flooring really needs replacing). Breakfast was fine, nothing special but perfectly acceptable, and a very nice steakhouse close by.

Terribly noise being located off the highway. Also, the room next door was having a party, and hotel did nothing to stop it. Also, wifi did. It work at all. And the pool was completely drained. Breakfast was just okay.

I had an amazing time and look forward to visiting again soon. The breakfast was decent and being able to visit the Mesa Verde National Park was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. I am truly grateful.

Loved this hotel! People were happy and friendly!! Clean, and go above and beyond. Rooms were so comfortable and clean! Breakfast was very good and they are very accommodating to your needs. This is a MUST STAY at place when in Cortez!!!

We have stayed at the Turquoise Inn & Suites several times and have always had a good experience. The staff has always been very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent to walk to any of several pubs & eating establishments. Rooms are very comfortable & clean. I especially like the grassy courtyard with water feature to relax in before dinner.

On a positive note, we found the beds and room to be quite comfy and the breakfast offerings adequate. However, the hotel's soundproofing must need some refurbishing, as the noise from other guests above us and on the walkways was a little disturbing-I am not sure the hotel can do anything about people needing to leave extremely early in the morning, but it was a bit disturbing. We certainly would stay here again! It is well-located to gas stations, grocery stores, and the town's center.

The staff was very accommodating and nice. Showed concern about our stay. The room had every thing you'd need. It looked clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The jetted tub in the bedroom was interesting and we took advantage of it.

We rented a suite that had a separate bedroom for us and a living room with a sofa bed for our son. Worked out very well for us. Breakfast was delicious. Also pet friendly for our dog. Very quiet and comfortable. Sofa bed wasn't great but OK.

A very nice hotel in the middle of town with a great hot spar pool and a hearty breakfast of eggs and meat.. The staff are nice and its near the liquer store and a good restaurants.. Ten mins away from Mesa Verde

Perfect location to walk to restaurants. Good breakfast. Clean new rooms. Hot tub had broken the day we arrived, so manager Trish upgraded us to a room with a jetted tub. Fantastic customer service!!!

Staff was great, both on check in and when we decided to extend our stay. Our reason for being here was Mesa Verde, Four Corners and Hovenweep. A short drive to all from here. Ample parking and our suite was very accomodating. Also, the waterfall in the courtyard was nice to listen to.

We stayed there for a night at the end of April. Great place, very nice and very comfortable. We stayed in an efficiency and it was so nice. The surroundings were beautiful and on the outside of our room was a small waterfall, very relaxing. The price was very economical for everything we got. All Best Westerns have great breakfasts, hot cooked breakfasts with eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, and yogurt. The best breakfasts of any franchise. I highly recommend this place if you are passing through.

We arrived for a two night stay the first week of April. We couldn't have the type of room that we had reserved (see attached picture) because the desk attendant said that all of those rooms are being renovated. We were put in a room with two queens and a sofa bed. We had reserved king beds, so that was quite disappointing right off the bat. Also, the reservation stated it was a two bedroom, and we were put in a one bedroom. That was an additional disappointment. There was no compensation made for the difference in room. The desk attendant cheerfully explained that we'd been "upgraded" to a suite, when a suite is what we'd reserved in the first place. We had five people (two couples and a child), so it was all a bit squished and no one really had their own space. We were put in a room that hadn't yet been remodeled, and I can see that the remodel to the rooms is a timely one as the paint and carpet looked worn and could use a refresh. The bathroom was only stocked with 3 bath towels, so one of us went to the front desk to ask for a couple more and were told they would bring some down. Several hours later when it was time to go to bed, the towels still hadn't arrived, so we had to go back to the front desk and get some. They asked if we would like extra towels when our room was made up the next day, and we said yes. They were not provided the next day, requiring another trip to the lobby. Our toilet paper wasn't replenished when the room was cleaned, so we had to request an additional roll at the front desk. The first night we could hear someone snoring through the wall in another room, so you could say the walls could be better insulated. The list of channels on the TV includes some that are not available, which was kind of annoying. There was a garbage can in the courtyard that was overflowing our entire stay. The breakfast was good and the beds were fairly comfortable. We forgot to bring toothpaste and the desk attendant gave us some of that. By way of information, this property is in a good location in the center of town. There are lots of places to eat nearby and a grocery store right across the street. The room has a nice counter area with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom has a vanity outside of the shower/toilet area which is nice for getting several people ready in the morning.

Wish we could have stayed longer, excellent check in and great staff. Let us park our Harley by the awning because of bad weather. They put us in a fantastic room for the night. The breakfast room was very nice and the staff kept everything full.

Our stay at BW was excellent. The hotel had their "Grand Re Opening Celebration" which included the residents to participate with free giveaways, food and DJ - it was a fun time! The staff at BW are very pleasant and offered dining suggestions locally for us. The staff was very professional and helpful to our needs and experiences. Breakfast was wonderful with staff helping and assisting to maintain a clean and full items service. The BW has completed their upgrading exterior - looks great! Our room was comfortable and quiet.

It was just good hotel to stay. However, needs a couple isse to be proved from my experience from 2 night staying. I still don't get why I couldn't see the travel channel and weather channel without paying.

Nice place to rest during travel with nice people there to help and be of service. Nice facilities, especially the pool. Nice reception area and comfortable breakfast lounge. I had a suite and it was more space than actually needed, good deal.

The best Western in Cortez is Centrally located. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The rooms are very nice, although they currently are doing construction on the hotel that has lasted months and is a bit annoying.

I had reserved my room for the wrong weekend, with another site. My bad! Trish at the front counter was very helpful, she had her co-worker (didn't catch his name, sorry) book us in a suite, which was all they had left, due to a huge cyclist thing going on. They were super cool about it, gave me a discount! I messed up and still got a deal. She Also told me I could call the website I used and cancel, even though the website said non refundable. I called the website, they called the hotel, I received my money back from said website. I was very pleased. The hotel was going thru some renovations, but that didn't affect us. The suite was very nice. Clean, and comfy. The heated pool was wonderful after a long day of driving. They ran out of breakfast. That was the only bad thing. And I would stay there again, no problem.

Great location and friendly staff who went way over what we expected! They had us park our motorcycle by the front lobby and kept an eye on it overnight. Breakfast was excellent! Scrambled eggs and all the other fixings you could ask for.

Many of the rooms are undergoing a complete overhaul, new carpeting, mattresses, etc. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was very nice. As for the breakfast, the selection was very good except for the oatmeal. Rather than individual packets of oatmeal they served a pot of "blah". We have stayed at this BW many times since the late 1980s and have always found it to be really nice. On another note, we stayed at two other BW properties. The BW were offering a special to receive a $10 gift card for each night stay. What wasn't said is that the card can only be used at BW properties and is valid only until August. The promotion was misleading.

This is an excellent hotel that has been recently remodeled. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious. We were upgraded to a suite because I am a diamond club member. It was awesome to have so much room for the family to spread out. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful.

Took a 3 night trip to hike in the Cortez area and stayed here. Paid $94 per night for a room with 2 queen beds/non-smoking. PROS: Room was just remodeled. Gone was gross carpeting and replaced with nice hardwood floors (no suspect wet/mold in carpet). The walls freshly painted and the bathroom very clean and sealed. The room was HUGE!! on one side was a long couch and coffee table, dresser, small desk with mini fridge and LARGE TV. On the other were the 2 queen beds. Beyond the bed area was an alcove for hanging clothes with a countertop that spanned almost the whole width of the room with coffee maker and lots of space for your stuff and the door to the bathroom which was small with just the toilet, sink and tub/shower. Directly across the street was an awesome grocery store and gas station. We would pick up picnic foods at the store before we left for the day. The breakfast had hot and cold choices and was plentiful. CONS: Clearly the room above us also had hardwood floors and the family staying in it never seemed to sleep nor remove their shoes when indoors!!! Much of the hotel is still being remodeled but we had no trouble with all the workmen etc, As the bathroom itself is small I put all my getting ready for the day stuff on the counter outside and after a shower went there to get ready, only to discover while my husband was in the shower that the hair dryer is mounted in the bathroom and not the counter. The WORST PART is the entire wall along the bed side of the room did not have a single electrical outlet so there was NO alarm clock in the room nor anyway to plug in your phone and put it on the bedside tables. Overall this was a nice place to stay and I had no safety or sanitary concerns here.

This staff is wonderful, everyone is so friendly! Thanks for making our trip a wonderful experience, the rooms we've stayed in are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is definitely a plus with a very nice variety for all .

A great place to stay there and great people and a great location in the town and they have the stuff we need if we don't have any of it with us and everyone is friendly there and have if we have a problem there
