Best Western Inn & Suites

Our room was spacious, clean, and everything worked.. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast provided a nice variety of hot and cold foods. Because we needed to check out very early the last morning we were there, staff provided each of us with a bagged breakfast to go... so that we would have something to eat before we arrived at the Austin airport.

Best Western is so far the best hotel for the buck. Everybody is really nice, the rooms are clean and the food is plenty. I like the gym too. I was able to eat for free and then get a great workout after.

Receptionist, cleaning staff house keeping all were good. nice experience on the stay. Had amenities like Gym Swimming pool I didn't get chance to use those but saw people enjoying. Copperas Cove hotel is next to Walmart which helped me.

I loved the fact that there was a ceiling fan in my room. Other than road construction in front of the hotel that forces you to go weird ways especially if not familiar with the area, I HIGHLY recommend

The room was mediocre at at best, with inadequate lighting, clothing hangers that fell out of their track onto the floor, and a mini-fridge that slid out of its cubby. Worst, it had a malfunctioning air conditioner that kept the bedding and all my clothes soggy the whole time I was there.

Hotel staff was friendly. I've stayed at this hotel before. The back door did not work properly, our beds were uncomfortable. Great location near fast food places and near Walmart and HEB. Good breakfast, .

Enjoyed my 7 day stay at BW Copperas Cove. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The breakfast was perfectly fine, though a fruit option would have been good. The rooms were clean, and the service was good. Good location - not to far from the highway but far enough not to get road noise. My only comment for improvement is faily niche - but being a gym user, the dumbells were all huge - starting at 35lb! A few lighter ones would be good. Other than that, the gym was useful amenity. Thanks.

This hotel had some very old looking furnishings; however, there are obvious upgrades. There was a new shower/tub that worked perfectly and had a high showerhead for tall people! There also seemed to be new flooring and carpeting. The room&bathroom were very clean, which definitely outweighed some of the outdated furnishings. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

This hotel was clean and friendly beds were clean fresh smelling even the pillows very comfortable a lot of choices for breakfast. Staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy didn't take a long time

Visited Brady for the Annual Goat Cook-Off. Very busy weekend for this little town. Not a lot of choices for overnight stays. This motel worked out great for our group. Clean rooms and friendly people. Breakfast area was well kept. Chicken Express is located next door for easy tea access!!

My friend, two kids (8 months and 2 years old) and I arrived, checking-in late on a Thursday evening. The desk clerk was friendly and made it a breeze to get to our room after a long drive. We entered and removed our shoes to prepare for bed. My friend immediately stepped onto something hard on the carpet. Lifting her foot she discovered a white pill left from a previous occupant. We put our little ones on the bed and inspected the rest of the carpet. It was quite obvious that the room had not been vacuumed as we found three toenails between the two queen beds and an old french fry under the desk. We threw the pill away but left the "Three Amigos" (toenails) and "Krusty" (the lonely fry) on the floor, hoping we were helping the housekeeper see the obvious the next day when she made her rounds. We also reported this to the desk clerk who offered to vacuum the room for us even though (she advised) it was not her job. We declined since we were on our way to the swimming pool and had left our valuables in the room. The next day we arose early to start our day, only returning back to our room in the evening. We were tired and ready to wind down in our newly vacuumed room. But alas, it was not to be. The unwanted guests, Krusty and the Three Amigos, refused to be evicted; they were resting comfortably in the same places we had seen them earlier. These squatters had gotten a free stay in our room on our dime and I was somewhat grossed out by it. Since we only had one more night in the room I decided I could handle Krusty easily and disposed of him without much effort. The Three Amigos were another matter. I stared at the defensive circle they were in and knew they were prepared for battle; they intimidated me and they knew it! The mere thought of them set off my gag reflexes and I could not find the fortitude to remove these three moochers. For my health, I had to let them be. We reported the issue to the same clerk again. And again she offered to vacuum the room to which we declined (we were tired and wanted our privacy). The clerk checked some papers and shared with us that it appeared the housekeeper assigned to our room had gone home early, having felt unwell. The clerk asked us by chance if we had left the "privacy please" sign on our door. We had not. Besides, the beds had been made, trash bags removed and used towels replaced so housekeeping had come in to our room. We awoke to our final day in the room, enjoyed breakfast and then packed up. I gave one last look over the room to verify we had gotten all of our belongings. I dared not peer at the Three Amigos, fearing they would start something. I vacated the room with a sigh of relief. On a positive note, room rate was reasonable, the beds were clean and comfortable, pool temperature was perfect in 100 degree weather, desk clerk was great and the hot breakfast was good.

Shower/ tub not cleaned properly, problems not fixed, pool was down but looked like it had been down for quite some time. Staff was friendly but overall the visit was very disappointing. Probably won't stay here again. Sorry.

I was dealing with some outrageously stressful events happening in my life, and had tried a couple different hotels before I contacted Best Western, in Cove.. I needed assistance with rates on the room, and didn't want to be in a roach motel anymore.. the District manager and the employees of Copperas Cove Best Western helped me thru this time every step of the way

This Best Western is solid. Good price for a clean stay. The hotel is certainly not new but is certainly working great. One mattress was a bit aged in terms of structure but no significant issue. All amenities were in working order. 6am breakfast was breakfast tacos with all the fixins.

Stayed for one night. The hallways smelled. The bathroom was dirty. The towels were stained. The receptionist handled the breakfast with no gloves. Nothing looked cleaned. Pricey for the way the hotel looked.

Property was clean. Their staff was accommodating staff. Especially front desk when we asked to switch rooms. We would visit here again when we come next year. Wish they would have a Keurig coffee machine.

Thought I had a great room rate using rewards and a disable vet discount. Thought I secured a first floor room with a credit card. Receptionist saw us in person. Room rate increased. Discounted rate lower. First floor room vanished. Sad

This hotel did not even recognize that I had made a request for downstairs until the time of check in, when I was informed that there were rooms available. They did give me an upgrade, but, the hotel is dated, the bed was not comfortable and there was no breakfast.

Well, a picture is worth a thousand butterflies but mine is worth more than just butterflies.I picked an HD on their show room floor. I think I made them the best deal of the century. I sold my screaming eagle a couple of years back after a cancer scare. I told them I was replacing my old scooter if that's possible. I read their foul mouth emails but continued to press my purchase. In the end, the dopes sold the bike I had pretty much offered full price for. I booked this hotel, as I always have, almost two months in advance. After driving three hours, we get to the hotel, only to see written notes on the front door that it is CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION. We never received any communication or cancelation. Nothing! They had ample enough time to notify me that the hotel would be closed and give me enough time to book another hotel. This town is so small that there are only about three or four other hotels. Of course they were all booked already since the holiday fell on the weekend. The nearest hotel was 20 minutes away! Of course there was nothing anyone could do for the rate as well. When I booked in advance, the rate was perfect for my budget. After speaking to Customer Relations, the best they could do was book me a hotel and have their word that I would be reimbursed the difference once my receipt was submitted. I had to pay over double the rate I initially booked for a hotel that was further away and kept losing power. It was truly the worst experience I've ever encountered with a hotel. I will never be staying here again.

Night clerk is very rude with poor customer service. Treated me poorly when I asked a question because my name was not on the room with my husband. Cameras do not work so good luck when it comes to security for your vehicle. Did not want to give me managers name but wanted mine. Will not stay again.

It was horrible! The cleaning people they had were loud and very unprofessional. Especially this particular young lady with green hair she was just very disrespectful. The room looked like it was half way cleaned. Never again. If your alone and like a ghetto atmosphere maybe but other than that no.She was on the phone and just looked nasty. She was talking about other men in the motel just pure disrespectful!

Very nice staff at check-in and check-out. The room appeared to be old with old mattresses. The hotel had a great looking, outer appearances. The faucet leaked. Cheapest toiletries. Too tired to get another room.

room was dirty and dusty. Carpet along walls were dusty about 3 inches all the way around room. Hair on sheets,hair in shower. Dust on TV stand and TV. Was told pool was open..false. generic breakfast in bag. Bed was horrible.

With a couple of minor issues that were addressed very quickly, we enjoyed our stay. Danielle at the front desk was fantastic and check-in and throughout our stay. We stayed 4 nights and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Located about an hour away from Longhorn Cavern and the Colorado Bend State Park - perfect location for a Hill Country weekend. Friendly reception upon arrival, got an upgrade to suite-style room with king bed, sofa, coffee table, single comfy chair, desk and chair, large dresser, large flat screen TV, coffee maker, fridge with freezer shelf, microwave. Clean room and bath. Even though an older property, the hotel has been updated with contemporary design. Walmart and HEB+ store nearby. Quiet location, good night sleep. Hot breakfast includes eggs, sausage, bacon, toasts, bagels and english muffins, yogurt, cereal, waffles, pancakes. Coffee a bit weak and no USA Today newspaper, but a local paper. I'll be back.

Very good location. Staff was the best I ever had to deal with. Exceptional client care and meticulous cleanliness of this hostel. Rooms were clean and tidy. Housekeeping staff was very attentive to my needs. Will be staying here more often.

No help with luggage getting it upstairs. No hot tub. Breakfast is more towards continental rather than what you'd expect for “hot”. Long black hair is several areas in room and bathroom. Next time I'll check the competition first.

We stayed here for 10 nights in October. It's a nice hotel with spacious rooms, a great breakfast (including bacon!!) and wonderful/friendly staff. Margie (the hotel manager) was amazing - very competent and friendly, and helped us with additional reservations. The hotel is conveniently located with Walmart, HEB, and many restaurants nearby. It's also close to Fort Hood, and if you are visiting family in Killeen it is much nicer (and cheaper) than the Killeen hotels. We will definitely stay here from now on.

Great property, clean and neat, staff friendly and helpful. Only issue I had was vending machines were almost empty, and when I went t the front desk to get water, desk clerk was nowhere to be found, I banged on the bell for five minutes, and after fifteen minutes I left. NOt very good business to leave front of hotel completely unattended for that long. Never did get any water.

We booked this through booking.com. we stayed on a wed through a sat. We just drove 1400 miles when we arrived we had to wait until 1230 ish to check in .Check in is at 3pm . After explaining, they called me to come check in early. They have 2 floors no elevator!! Not in their description of hotel . Yes the staff was nice but very inconvenient for my son's dad . I requested for a 1rst floor they said they were filled up. Breakfast was ok . I prefer sausage gravy instead of flour gravy. To me , there could have been a better place to stay with more conveniece or places to set around the hotel. Overall decent but will not be returning.

This is definitely our stop while visiting. The entire staff was helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding restaurants and local sites. We've stayed here on three occasions and have had a great experience every time.

I always stay at best westerns whenever I travel and this was by far the worst one I've stayed at. The front desk was not friendly, never smiling or anything. We made them aware of a huge wasp nest near the entrance of the hotel and nothing was done about it by the end of our stay. It was a very big nest which makes it hard to believe that no one else noticed. Maybe they should have put up a sign or something if they weren't able to take care of it quickly, because you never know if someone may be allergic. The pool was murky and the poolside furniture was old, dirty and full of hair. The room isn't clean either. It seems like they just replace the sheets and throw away the trash from the last person staying there. The tub and floors are not clean and nothing is dusted. We got extremely bad allergies while staying there and realized at the end of our stay that the AC unit vent was completely full of dust. I'm very disappointed with my stay.

The location of the hotel is good and the Room was clean. The bed was very hard and it was a coil mattress. The breakfast was decent, although there was no salt and pepper. Decent price for the location.

Keep it simple. The front desk is the key. If they answer with professionalism, friendliness, and enthusiasm, I like the feeling I get with those qualities. So book it. As a traveler one must be open minded, friendly, and easy going. This is the secrets of the traveler.

Everything about this hotel was Okay except the beds were so hard to sleep on. Breakfast was great..had a gorgeous pool. Military love to stay here. It's very close to shopping and restaurants. A wonderful movie thea6is also close by. Wineries and lots of things to do in a short driving distance.

Single female traveling alone - I felt safe and the amenities were excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and good. The eating area was clean and comfortable. Slept extremely well and felt rested in the morning which typically does not happen for me when I travel.

Check in was a breeze and had no issues with our room. Second time to stay at this facility and will be back. We checked in Friday night and did it via my email and made it easier when we got to the hotel.

I had business in Killeen, but the cost of the hotel there around the Ft. Hood area was a little too expensive. This hotel is a quick and easy 10-min. trip down the interstate and a lot less expensive. Plus it was far enough away from the main highway to afford me a nice, quiet sleep without the sound of traffic.

Bad back hell! No it's not a beautiful historic hundred year old hotel there is no elevator. If I am traveling for business I don't want to make four trips carrying everything upstairs I can't leave in my car. Old ac took a while to cool room -really slow tv-room not bad and a Walmart and HEB and lots of restaurants nearby but no way would I stay again maybe the motel 6 next door

I loved the location and all of the shopping opportunities it provided. It had a small mall very close and Wal-Mart is directly across the street. It was wonderful, clean and the breakfast was good. I loved the water they had by the front desk that had fresh cucumbers cut up in it.

Nice property. Quick check in, no issues while I was staying there. Close to plenty of places to eat, Walmart and H-E-B. Quick access to Fort Hood, Killeen, and the Killeen Airport. Will definitely stay again.

My wife and I were in Copperas Cove for a softball tournament and needed a place to stay. We searched the internet and chose this hotel by the reviews. Great choice. Better price by using online reservation. Room was held for us even though we got there late that night. Continental breakfast had a huge choice of items including blueberry option for waffles. Very clean, comfortable clean beds, washer dryer option and right next door to a Walmart. Highly recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel quickly and on the recommendation of a friend. The King room was large and included a sofa bed. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was easily available and good. There is no elevator at this location so had a first floor room.

Ripley was the night manager. She was very understanding and a kind person. I met Eva in the morning was just as amicable. Besides the friendly staff, the room was very clean. I've visited some Marriots and asked the staff to change the sheets, shower curtains or clean the bathroom upon arrival. My room was perfect. The breakfast was good as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I'll be back.

We always enjoy our stays here when we come down to visit my family. We have really enjoyed the updates that have been made and new front desk staff hired.It's a great hotel with truly some of the best staff ever!

Given the choice, i would usually stay in a different chain but my usual chain was not an option. BW was easily equal to my usual Staff was helpful, room pleasant breakfast fine and extended timewise.

Great location (multiple fast food businesses, HEB and Wal-Mart all within a short walking distance), always clean rooms, good breakfast, nice swimming pool and fitness room, pleasant customer service, extremely easy to book rooms online

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Desk clerks were VERY nice, friendly and full of information. VERY impressed that the clerk called me after I got to my room to see if the accomodations were okay. Check-in/out process was handled with care. SO impressed with the size of our Double Queen Suite. The bedding and pillows were awesome and there was even a ceiling fan! You certainly don't see that much in hotels. LOTS of places to eat nearby i.e. restaurants and fast food. PLUS a Walmart right across the road. I will DEFINITELY stay here again if I'm in the area.

The staff was very nice; once I got there I was welcomed with a smile. The room was the right size and so it was the bed. The breakfast was good as well. I did not encounter any issues during my short stay. I recommend this place.

I was going to give this more stars. But I have had trouble with desk clerks during my stay over two weeks which I have given them hundreds of dollars.I will get to them in a minute: The good: Ripley is a fantastic, friendly manager. The rooms are clean. The hot breakfast is substantial. It is located across the street from a Wal Mart and about half a mile from an HEB grocery store. The bad: I had several bad experiences with a few desk clerks. The first was friendly, although he dishonest, slept on the job, and put breakfast out late while telling guests that the hotel usually puts out breakfast later on weekends. That was untrue. The second clerk was extremely rude and hostile to me. She actually put biscuits inside the gravy and when I asked her to remake it, she snapped at me that she would have to wash the dishes all over again. I had to argue with her to get the gravy remade. She finally did after yelling at me. Finally, and this was the straw that broke the camel's back; I had been working on a major project for the two weeks that I have been there. The printer was not working when I tried to print out my finished project. The clerk, initially refused to call the manager to see if I could send it to the desk. Keep in mind this was a huge project and it took weeks to complete. Then, the clerk just flat out ignored me. I admit I did yell at her but that was only after she ignored me. What happened the third time, as I said, was the final straw. They seemed unappreciative of my long stay. Despite a couple friendly clerks and the manager and do not intend to return. If you want to keep your sanity, I would advise the same.

Stayed one night here before catching a flight out of Austin... typical best western service... rooms were large and clean, shower and bathroom were in order... location was situated close to many services with Walmart right across the street...

We were staying here just for the night for my son to see friends while we traveled cross country back to Seattle. The hotel had overbooked and so they gave us an upgrade to a suite at no charge which was a nice treat. The room was huge and very comfortable. There was a Walmart and restaurants in walking distance. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Excellent customer service by the Staff. Truly appreciate the professionalism by the staff, 1st I must thank the entire Janitorial staff, whom deserves to be applauded and appreciated. (Wonderful job and Thank you for Intergrity), Thank you to Ripely, Danielle, and Margoire for taking the time to accommodate our Military personnel in resolving a difficult logistic situation. Thank you to Navaleme, Ruby and Bernice, and all the other Support staff I unfortunately may have not mention, I appreciate your efforts. I recommend this Best Western Inn & Suite location for future accommodations for handling both sectors, the Private sector (Civilian) and Military business. I will be retaining Best Western Inn & Suites services in the future.

We stayed in one of suites and couldn't have been happier. We have stayed here before and we are never disappointed with the quality of service and location. We would surely recommend this motel to anyone who would happened to be in this general area.

We stayed at this Best Western on our way to visit the River Walk in San Antonio. Our room was on the first floor where we enjoyed the large room as well as the large bathroom with the long counter top. I don't know if the shower head had been replace but the shower pressure was awesome...loved it. The room was clean and comfortable. Another plus was the great breakfast with bacon & sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles AND biscuits and gravy. On our way home we stayed on the second floor. There's no elevator but these old folks didn't have any trouble. All was great except that the floor in the bathroom was dirty. That's why I rated it as Very Good.......So very close to being excellent.

We were in town for a wedding, got a good deal and figured you can't really go wrong with Best Western, I was wrong. To be fair, the hotel isn't horrible, just not somewhere I'd stay again for several reasons. The hotel is small but I assume Copperas Cove doesn't have a booming tourist industry. The room was simple but clean and it was in a good location. There are several restaurants near by and an HEB around the corner. The mattress was uncomfortable and the bed didn't have a comforter, just a thin blanket folded at the end of the bed. We had to ask for a second blanket because it was way too small to share with two people. The sheets were thin and wouldn't stay on the mattress so we woke up tangled in sheets and our sad blankets. Our phone was broken and they didn't replace it in that two nights we were there. The breakfast was mediocre at best. If you're just looking for a cheap, safe, and conveniently located hotel, it'll serve its purpose but don't expect more than that. I do have to say that the staff was very nice.

Visited overnight on a road trip from the UK . The hotel feels new with clean comfortable large rooms . Close to freeway and access to shops and restaurants. Walmart is opposite! Safe Neighbourhood. Ticks all the boxes !

Firstly, hotels should inform their clients when construction is taking place. Thankfully our family is young and nimble enough to carry luggage up and down stairs, because we had to! The elevators weren't working. The quality of the beds themselves was poor. They were very hard. I know you cannot please every person, but I am not picky when it comes to mattresses; I can usually sleep pretty much anywhere, but these mattresses were so hard my hip bones were actually sore from sleeping on them for two nights. The blanket was more like a heavy sheet. One of the electrical outlets in the bathroom quit working. We tried using the re-set button, but it didn't fix it. The outlet itself looked to be partially broken. The lady who checked us in was rude. When my husband asked if a law enforcement discount was provided, she informed him in a less than friendly manner that since we booked using a 3rd party there wasn't any discount. When he asked her what the difference might be between booking directly though the hotel as opposed to using a 3rd party, she informed him she wasn't going to tell him; we were going to pay what we expected to pay via the 3rd party reservation. (He wasn't trying to get out of paying more; he was just curious.) He specifically asked her what time breakfast began and ended. She told him 6 am-10pm. However, when our family went downstairs, we discovered there wasn't any breakfast due to construction in that area. My husband asked a different employee about breakfast for the day & she told him it wasn't scheduled due to construction, and the night employee should have told him so. (The very same night employee who was so rude to him at check in.) Our second morning we did sample the breakfast area; however, it was incredibly disappointing. The coffee was so weak you could literally see the bottom of your cup, and worse, it was cold. One gentleman told the desk employee the coffee was cold, and she told him, “let me finish this and I'll take care of it”. It sounded like a mother scolding a child. I don't know what she was doing, but almost 20 minutes later she finally made her way to the breakfast area. She took the coffee canisters to go make new coffee. That took another 20+ minutes. When she finally returned, I filled my cup from the fresh canister but it was the very same weak & cold coffee the gentleman had complained about to begin with. The bacon was a gooey mess, the eggs didn't taste like eggs. I don't recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and dedicated to making your stay comfortable. What I personally struggle with is the crappy showers. I've changed to several different hotels in Copperas Cove and they share the same issue. Clogged shower heads. They ALL seem to use the shower heads with all the special pulsing, throbbing water choices. The problem, they don't work, their clogged, dribbling water out of them. I'll be attempting to stay in Killeen next time.

we stayed at the Best Western Copperas Cove, TX during the Christmas holidays to be close to family, We have stayed he several times, the room was large and roomy, clean and well kept. The morning breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, waffles, gravy, biscuits, the juice machine was off because the maintenance worker took the key and the server could not get to work. Overal a great trip and stay.

Overall we had a great experience. Very friendly staff and perfect service every time we stay here. We really enjoyed new furniture in room. When we stayed renovation was in progress and as per front desk staff it will completed soon.

Excellent room and breakfast for a medium priced hotel room. Would have rated the room cleanliness a five star for excellence if not for the dead cricket behind the bathroom door which remained there during our three night stay.

Good stay. Was doing renovations to improve the place. No elevators to the second floor. Find better way to keep breakfast warmer longer. Look into possible early check in option. Look into replacing alarm clocks.

Great hotel. Amazing staff. I would stay there again for sure! The staff and location of the hotel were perfect for the business I was there for. Always helpful and right off the interstate. I would recommend to anyone to stay at this Best Western. Definitely worth it!

stary ws uneventful, room was quite and restfull. bathtub drainage wa slow, notified managment on departure on the slow drainage & they were receptive to our notification. Would stay here again when in the area. good price for the area.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the room was large enough to spread out and be comfortable...Staff was nice and accommodating. Location aws close to shopping and lots of eating places. Would stay here again!

As a former cove resident, I know the area and I know what's available, and the BWs in this area will please. Cove is quiet and many amenities are in walking distance during the stay. Coffee and breakfast items were fresh and great.

Overall it was great stay. Enjoyed pool and fitness center. Great loacation. Food Shopping Theater all in walking distance. Hotel staff was very helpful. All rooms were non smoking and loved it. Usually hard to find 100% non smoking hotel.

Rooms are large and beds were very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and we felt very welcome and all staff provided whatever we needed! Used the fitness center and enjoyed! Breakfast was good, and was a friendly place to gather and watch the latest on Harvey. Breakfast staff always had the area clean and well stocked!

I'm pretty loyal to best western hotels because of their rewards program. I can always count on best western to provide a clean comfortable room, with very comfortable beds and extra pillows for a fair price. Breakfast is pretty consistent throughout the chain, good variety. I have usually encountered great staff members too.

The front Desk was extremely Rude. I let my family use my Reward points to go visit my brother before he deployed again and they refused to allow them to use the points until i called and then out of no where they kicked them out of there room after the first night and said they didn't have a room for the night

Check in was fast and friendly. Upon entering the room foul odor was noticed. Comforter on one of the beds had huge stains that could not have been missed by the cleaning staff. The sheets on the other bed were full of hair from the previous guest so they had not been changed. They had obviously just made the beds and moved on. Asked the front desk for a different room and were told the only had two singles that were no joined so we checked out and left. Front desk staff was friendly and apologetic. Would not stay here ever. Nicer hotels on the same block for comparable rates.

1st room we checked into had a funky smell & bugs in the bathroom. I went down to desk was given a new room. Also had a funky smell front office gave us glade spray. The sleeper sofa mattress was extremely thin. I had my kids take turns sleeping on just the sofa. The beds were uncomfortable after 3 nights my hips hurt. We had two rooms & the other people with us had the same complaint. The kids liked the pool & adults liked the built in seats. Breakfast was your typical free breakfast. Front desk staff were always polite. This place needs a major remodel! In the end I guess you get what you pay for. $86 a night not the greatest accommodations.

We stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and nice and the air conditioning was cold (and it was 100* out.) Pool was nice. Breakfast was great... tons of choices. Very nice stay, we would definitely come back.

I hate surveys. Sometime the answer choices simply don't fit. I either lie or simply do not complete the survey. On this one, for example, I do not remember how many nights I've stayed at BW in the last year. Maybe 3 or even 10. Give more flexible for answers. Always allow "other."

The breakfast food/drinks were not good. Most of the food was cold and rubbery tasting. The room was great and the service was excellent! Check in/out was easy and fast. The staff was friendly. Overall, it was worth redeeming my points for.

The stay was great overall. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean. The only bad thing was the bed it was very hard but I have stayed here before and didn't have this problem so maybe it was just in this room. Overall great experience!

The interior of the hotel is as sad and neglected as the impression you get from the outside. The lobby has a musty smell. The staff didn't seem to be motivated, well-trained or happy. Our room wasn't clean and when we came back from dinner, there was a large, dead cockroach in the doorway. We didn't get any allergies from sleeping the night, though. We cut our stay short and found another hotel from that point on.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly, that stood out more than anything. The fitness center had the things I need. The pool was very nice, the inside of it looked new and it was very clean. The room was decent and very clean and the sheets on the bed smelled good. Overall it was a great hotel, I would definitely return. It is one of the nicer ones in the area.

The desk staff were very helpful. The room was average clean/decorated/updated. The bottom of the pool wore the skin off my grandsons toes. The mattresses REALLY, REALLY need to be replaced with better quality!!

I needed to cool off after a long work week and the outdoor pool has just finished being re-modeled, and was so refreshing on a hot Texas day! You can see that there are lots of improvements and updates being made at this somewhat older hotel. The maintenance staff, house-keepers and front desk employees were all just wonderful people. The hotel owner was there when I checked in, and he was very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely come back! Also, the breakfast is very tasty and well-presented, with a large selection. I especially loved the "build-your-own" breakfast burritos. Yum! Hot coffee was available at any time, which I really liked. I signed up for express check-out, which was offered when I arrived for my stay, but I went to the desk anyhow, at check-out, just so I could again thank the caring staff for my wonderful visit. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family. Two thumbs up! Thanks! ALSO - the location is SUPER convenient. Stores and the movie theater, as well as many restaurants are all in very close walking distance.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly, that stood out more than anything. The fitness center had the things I need. I would recommend adding a yoga mat or fitness ball for women. The pool was very nice, the inside of it looked new and it was very clean. The internet had a strong connection and didn't drop unless I left the building. The breakfast was great, a lot more choices than I'm used to seeing at a continental breakfast! I made my own breakfast tacos and my boyfriend made a blueberry waffle. He recommends you add whipped cream as a topping. The room was decent, it looked a little outdated but it was very clean and the sheets on the bed smelled good. They had free HBO which was nice to watch at night. Overall it was a great hotel, I would definitely return. It is one of the nicer ones in the area.

I can't say enough about this place! Clean, convenient, and extremely helpful staff. I was surprised at how attentive and helpful the staff was. The manager, Riley, was fantastic! My son was sick when we got there after a long road trip and she gave us hot cocoa, tea and honey and offered an ice pack. I've never had hotel staff treat us as friends before and she surely did. Room was clean, amenities plentiful, and incredibly affordable. Will be back anytime!

Great breakfast, Clean outside, new colors, clean lobby, good location near mayor markets but for me most important and sadly to say they do not allow pet, she say there was NO Senior discount, my room smell, heater lamp did not work, no shampoo no conditioner, refrigerator was old and ugly, bed lamp have no place to connect, control remote was dirty, bed comforter was stein, no elevator for second floor and no single bed room available for "BW reward" member on first floor. Cold swimming poll, I didn't use the exercise room but for the look of others customers that did went to see it, seems it was not good

When traveling with your children you always want them to have a clean, safe environment to stay in as a minimum. I was severely disappointed that this property did not provide that! While I cannot speak for all Best Western Hotels, this property was terrible. In addition to a terrible odor in the room, there were live and dead bugs in the bathroom! I would not stay here again and would not recommend for anyone else to stay there either.

Excellent stay staff was helpful and caring. Rooms were great and clean. Hotel was clean and pool was just remodeled and looked great. The facilities were very nice and very well kept. I plan on staying there again.

The location was a great location. I found the it very convenient for my needs. ATMs, restaurants (Wendy, Panda Express, Chic Fil a, Walmart, HEB...etc. The staff is very polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is passing through the Copperas Cove/Killeen area.`

My husband's home town is Copperas Cove, and we come home often to visit family and stay in hotels - needless to say, we've visited almost all of the Copperas Cove hotels. This is the best we found so far! The room was comfy (we had a king suite), pool was great, fitness center had what I needed and the business center was convenient when I needed printed copies. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 rating was breakfast. I understand they will be redoing the breakfast area soon, but the food wasn't that great - and it was hard to find something healthy (low cholesterol, in my case) to eat. They did have fresh fruit that was very good. Coffee, water and juice are available all day in the lobby and I took advantage of that - it was appreciated. All the staff was very friendly.

I have been staying here for many years since new but I stayed somewhere else last time because I thought the place was getting a bit dated/worn ( how long until they start duct taping the carpet and furniture rips I thought ). I regretted that choice since the other place was no good at all. So I came back here for one night because I could not find a different location for all 3 nights. It turns out that this CC BW has been renovated etc. Also the same great customer service . To summarize I am just going to stay loyal to this location. I like it and it's kind of like home to me.

We had a room that did not cool, and carpet was wet. They were redoing that room, and the manager did not know it, and she gave the room to us. We were moved, but it was a hassle, and no compensation for this.

I have stayed here many times and have always had a great experience! The staff are professional and friendly. The rooms are spacious and all needs are met. Breakfast is very good. Everything is clean and comfortable. It's like a home away from home.

Needed to stay just 1 night while we are traveling. Check was fast and easy. This places does not have an elevator, but it's only 2 stores so it's not that big of a deal if you are able and no large luggage to carry. Bed was good and comfortable. We had a king suite so room was spacious. Even had a ceiling fan! Always a pause for air circulation. If we are ever in the area again, we will come back to this place.

Hotel was ok, but keycards almost never worked in side door of the hotel, and parking in front of hotel was very limited. Also, the shower head leaked very badly. More water dripped straight down from the shower head than came out the business end.

This Best Western is a great value – quiet and clean with a very friendly staff. I love the rooms, many of them have a ceiling fan. They have also upgraded their continental breakfast, making it comparable to Marriott courtyards, etc.

Stayed over night with 2 adults and 2 children age 1 and 3. Enjoyed the pool and the breakfast meal was one of the best. We would do it again. Only thing, I wished it had was a hot tub. The kids really enjoyed the pool

Members of the staff were very helpful. The food in the mornings was hot and very taste. We have been going to this hotel for many years and will continue to make it a part of out out of town hotel. We love the staff and the service.

Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was over the septic system so I had to keep all drain plugs closed to keep them from invading my room. If I forgot, I came back to my room and found a few roaches ranging from an inch to two inches in length.

Room had a musty smell. Crickets in bathroom. Hotel is in bad need of updates. Exterior looks better than interior. No elevator to second floor. Breakfast was average. Small lobby. Did not use workout room so I cannot comment on this. Key cards did not work properly.

This hotel is close to Fort Hood and has very friendly staff. Breakfast is fair and the exercise room needs some updating. Bed are very comfortable and the rooms are large. All rooms have refrigerator and microwave and Wal mart is very close and convenient.

I was impressed from the front door on. Very clean and open rooms beautifully decorated. When we came to our room it was huge and very well kept. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. the manager called our room to see if we were satisfied I told her absolutely. I would gladly recamend this Best Western to anyone,

We got a second floor room and then discovered there was no elevator. They had carts for luggage but seeing as they won't climb stairs, they were kinda pointless. It's OK if you are traveling light but lugging luggage to the second floor was rather inconvenient. Other than that it was a good clean motel on average with the Best Western chain.

I am so thankful for the friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. I was very impressed as to cleanliness too . I had read some reviews and was trying to choose us a good place of value ...I will stay again when in this area .I know Jackie and Stephanie care for the folks that visit and take care of their needs .As I was one of them . Small hotel with very nice rooms. The hotel has an odor that hits you when you walk in the front door. Even the hallway has an odor. Smoking odor maybe but it's offensive. The rooms are very nice and have ceiling fans and do not have an odor. Breakfast was very good considering what the rate for the room is. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The quality of the Copperas Cove Best Western has been declining in recent years. I've stayed a couple of times per year when in the that area for business for about three decades. This Best Western has a very good location for Fort Hood, and for many years this hotel was my favorite. The facility appearance is getting dingy, staff service has fallen to just average, and maintenance has deteriorated. One of the three exercise machines has been out of order for months and now two of the three don't work. Also function of the keycards has become less and less reliable.

When we first arrived I was told the room was not ready and then told it was and when we entered it had not been cleaned out so we informed hotel staff and they accommodated us immediately in another room. the free buffet breakfast isn't too tasty so I suggest you prepare your own food or eat out while you enjoy your stay and the swimming pool is much smaller than it looks like in pictures but still very clean and nice to enjoy if it is a hot summer day.

Outstanding comfortable place. I've stayed in several hotels in Copperas Cove and this is the best. One of the friendliest staff's I ever dealt with from owner to employees. Well maintained and great pool.

We had two rooms. The mattresses in one was obviously newer than the other. Big difference in comfort. Room 117 needs new mattresses! Room 105 was great. Other than breakfast ending at 9am on Sunday, it was a decent stay for the price. I would stay again if traveling through. Everything else was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I wish I can give it a minus 10 for first impressions. I've stayed at many economic motel/Inn/hotel and this was by far the worst as far as first impressions. The landscape was unkempt, the front doors are manual (big inconvenience when you have arms full and baggage) and as soon as you enter, the smell of stale cigarette smoke permeates the entire lobby. The desk clerk on duty didn't acknowledge me as she stood there chatting with an employee, so I proceeded to ring the little silver bell on the counter to get her to attention. During check-in she handed me the room keys while at the same time, blurting out the room number. The room was on the second floor. I turned to look for the directional sign for the elevator, but couldn't see one. I asked where the elevator was located and she kindly told me "we don't have an elevator. " What!?! At that point, I was two seconds from turning around and going right through those manual doors and back into my car! I quickly said, that's not going to work...between my bad back and bad knees...not happening! I asked if a room was available on the first floor, she said yes and again handed me the room keys while blurting out the room number. I proceeded to the room, entered and was greeted by the stale cigarette smoke the filled the room. The very last impression was not so bad, which was the room layout and amenities. Overall, I will never ever stay at that property again! Ever!

Clean room, comfy bed, reasonable price, close to Wal-Mart and HEB. What more could you ask for? The breakfast could be better but it was standard fare for a continental breakfast. This hotel is very close to Killeen with easy access if you can't find a room there.

The staff at this hotel was very helpful in meeting our needs in a direct manner. I liked that about this hotel. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast which was nothing fancy but its food. Only real complaint i had was the internet was pretty much useless.

I stayed at this hotel many times and never had a issue. When I checked in the girl at the front desk was really polite and nice. The issue I had was late at night I heard a commotion that woke Me and my husband up. What I came out and heard was confrontation between a guest and the lady who was running the front desk at night. I heard cussing and other words that we're being said to the guest. I was so appalled to hear and see this. The front desk lady was antagonizing whatever issue the guest was having she was arguing and cursing with her. I don't think this kind of professionalism should be allowed no matter what the situation was. Employees should never come at a guest that way. My husband and I ended up leaving early the next morning we spoke to the front desk lady she was so sweet and she who was so apologetic and she said she would pass this on to her manager. I will never stay at this hotel if you have employees working there thinking it's okay to curse from behind the desk!

A truly nice hotel with a decent breakfast included. (Yay, for bacon!) The room was very large and the bed truly comfortable. A great place to crash if you're in the area. This hotel does not have an elevator so be sure you can hike to the second floor or that they will work with you to get you into a downstairs room if you have mobility issues.

This was a good hotel for the price. I had a smoking room, something that is hard to come by anymore, so I had no problems with smoky hallways. The room was clean and the bathroom very nice and big. The furniture was a little worn out but I expect that in an Inn.

I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting Texas with family. Nice hotel, the Texas shaped waffles for breakfast was a nice touch. Not the best experience but definitely not the worst. I would stay again. I included a picture of the view from my room not bad.

The hallway was full of smoke at all times. Needs better exhaust system or reduce the smoking inside. The bed was lumpy & uncomfortable. The eggs were terrible & there was no meat for breakfast. Could have had extra towels in the room.

The stay was great. Room clean. Everyone was friendly. Check-out is at 12, which is good if you stay out late. Only complaint is cleaning ladies really loud at 9am when you are trying to sleep in. Great location. Walmart right across, theater down the street, restaurants nearby. Very reasonable prices!!! I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay , and would go back again. Everyone was warm and friendly from check in over the phone to checkout at the counter Breakfast was good, I just wish there had been some bacon /sausage. They did have sausage biscuit.

I always enjoy staying at Best Western. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location makes it easy to shop at the 24 hour Wal-Mart or if you decide that your hungry there are a couple of fast food places opened with in walking distances, ie, Whataburger.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner especially since they have a strict no check in till 3:00pm. Overall this was not a terrible experience. The room advertised and I had booked had a sleeper couch but when we checked in there was no sleeper couch. Please do not take this as a bad review because its not a bad place to stay and we will probably use this hotel again in the future.

This Best Western was the best value and the quality of the service, rooms and amenities were the highest any in this area. The staff was exceptional, all of them. I would stay here again when I am in the area.

This Best Western is one of the best in Copperas Cove, Texas. The staff is very nice and goes out of their way to help you. The place is always clean and present to stay there. The room we stayed in was clean and very nice. We had a suit and loved the way we could have family members over and have lots of room to move about.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting the area. It was a good hotel but would probably check out another hotel next time. The people behind the counter are very friendly. The buffet type breakfast was very good. The one thing that lost them a higher rating was the staff that did the room. The beds were made but they didn't clean the bathroom very good, if they even went in there at all. The soap wrapper on the edge of the tub, which I forgot to throw away, was still there. The coffee pot supplies were not renewed. I drank the decaf, they did not replace it and didn't give any more sugar or creamer, which were used the previous day. And this, probably not their fault, was the tv cable went out our last night, all channels, so nothing was on the tv. When I went to the front desk I couldn't find anybody. Because of these we would probably not return.

This is our 5th stay at this hotel since it was built. Our room is always clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. It was nice to have the buffet breakfast with a variety of hot and cold foods. This hotel does have WIFI, business center (fax etc) free newspapers (local and USA Today) and also an indoor fitness room. The only downside is that the handicap parking area in the front of the hotel is not well lit. I brought this to the attention of the manager who said it will be corrected. Will continue to stay here.

A clean property and a good value for the money. Room was comfortable and clean with usual amenities. This two story hotel does not have an elevator. Guests with limited mobility should request a ground floor room for their stay.

I've stayed in this hotel at least four days a month for over a,year while in the area on business. I had always had a comfortable room and friendly service until this time. The hotel manager has absolutely no business dealing with any customers. He was rude, disrespectful, and refused to give me a receipt to show my credit card was closed out. When asked about the receipt he told me I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. I have since started staying at the hotel next door with much better service. It's a shame this location has such a horrible manager because the other front desk clerks that were friendly and knew how to provide good customer service have been run off or left.

Best Western Inn & Suites, in Copperas Cove, TEXAS has always been the best place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is always clean. Sometimes we have checked in late and our room is always available. We like to stay in the same room and the Best Western in Copperas Cove always try to give us the room we like so much.

The staff is very nice and helpful. We have stayed here many times when we come to visit family. We have never had a problem with this Best Western. We have been there so many times we the staff thinks we are family.

We always stay at this Best Western when we are going over to Temple to the VA, as we like to enjoy the sites, history and little towns around that part of Texas. We take in a whole day of "fun stuff" before our annual medical visit.

I have stayed here loyally since new and while I still like it , I am afraid that it needs some upgrading. The location is very quiet and convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. The complimentary coffee is usually cold. The free breakfast is good except the hash browns which are bland. My room was ok except there were white stains on my blankets in various places and my pillow smelled like puke. In the bathroom there were hairs on the edge of the bathtub and the toilet caulking was grimy and separating from the toilet. The table in the room had wear spots on it. The carpet feels grimy like it was steam cleaned a hundred times. Please renovate this stuff so I can come back

Closest hotel to Colorado Bend State Park that was decent & economical (found good rate online). Would have preferred to stay in Lampasas as its closer to the park but the hotels in Lampasas are limited - 1 hotel was super scary and another was over our buget for a 1 nite stay. This hotel was a little drive but conveniently close to a movie theatre, walmart and lots of places to eat. Hotel was pleasant, friendly staff, and had large, quiet room for us. Large restroom very nice. 2 problems - 1) our room was on 2nd floor and there is no working elevator. 2) pillows not to comfy. Free full breakfast had biscuits, gravy, sausages, eggs, cereals, juices, coffee - good variety. Dining area was crowded but appreciated the trays so you can carry the food to your room where it was quiet. Would stay again.

This was our 5th stay here. I'm very picky with cleanliness and this place I feel completely comfortable with. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Hotel is quiet. Breakfast was just okay on this last visit. They use to serve bacon but this time it was sausage and biscuits. Mine was a little too sweaty and I couldn't eat it. The only thing I can complain about is that there is a cigarette smoke odor in the hallways. But the place is clean and the rooms don't have that odor.

Cleanliness!!! The cleanliness was horrendous. There was a seminal fluid stain on the bedspread under one of the pillows, there was a grotesque amount of hair built up and collected in the shower drain and strands of dark colored hair stuck to the light colored wall in the bathroom. The carpet was dingy looking and had some gum pressed into the carpet beside the bed, which someone had attempted to remove, but what remained of the gum was still tacky and stuck to your foot when that unsuspecting person steps out of the bed first thing in the morning.

Towels were rough and worn. Hall stunk with cigarette smoke. A/C not working in our room. After more than an hour they finally switched rooms for us. The hotel seemed run down and in need of updating. No elevator for 2nd floor.
