Best Western Executive Suites

No frills hotel but the room was comfortable, quiet, and safe. With add-on taxes the room is approximately $120. Breakfast was exceptional with real scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, biscuits and gravy, and a variety of cereals. Many truckers use this hotel. We ate dinner at the adjacent Jackson Square Grill. Be certain to take advantage of their Happy Hour 3-6:00 with (about) 1/2 price selected appetizers. A large Coors Light is $5.00. Buffalo Wild Wings, Long Horn, and a couple pizzerias are within walking distance of the Best Western.

The front desk clerk was super friendly and accommodating. And the breakfast was great too with a decent variety of foods to choose from. The room was clean and and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

I came down to Columbus to visit with my girlfriend and my son and I love staying at the best western it's a very nice hotel the rooms are always clean and nice I would stay at this hotel because it's the best in Columbus.

Over all this hotel if a good value. The only disadvantage is the lack of an elevator to the second floor and no available first floor rooms. I do admit it was after midnight when we started looking for a place to stop for the night and we are grateful to have found such a nice hotel on our way to our destination on such short notice on a holiday weekend.

Great stay, clean rooms and excellent service! Travelling alone, the area was safe. Plenty of places to walk and grab food. Air conditioning worked great after a looonnngg day of motorcycle riding! Highly reommend.

After staying at this hotel at least 5 times the owner accused me of stealing a pillow. I'm not sure what happened to the pillow that he claims is missing but I don't have it. A pillow is not worth me going to hell. Don't stay at the Best Western In Columbus, MS. If the owner had not talked to me like I was stupid I would not have given this review. I pray things get better for them.

The room was SO humid when we got checked in....the sheets were damp because of how thick the humidity was! We ended up going to Walmart to buy a fan for our stay. Outside of that, the beds were super comfortable (husband has a bad back & hotel beds are hard to please him!), the room was clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious. Very happy with our choice of hotel.

The floors in the room were beyond disgusting. When we walked barefoot through the room Our feet week caked with filth (ruined several wash cloths cleaning our feet to put shoes on) The refrigerator door would not close completely. You had to have reservations to use the pools, this was not disclosed before check in and the were very disappointed. We were there for ball tournaments so kinda hard to make a reservation

Sharon was born for hospitality, and I hope she is there for your visit! Most comfortable bed ever (I fell asleep before 8pm and slept until 7:40 am!!! And i have baaad insomnia, so..) Over all, a great experience that the employees get all the credit for!

The room was very spacious,liked the layout of the room,lots of room to move around,need more usb ports but that is my only complaint,was quiet,air conditioner worked great,loved the shower plenty of hot water,breakfast was very good also.

Great hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was wonderful I travel a lot and idt I've ever been in a cleaner room from the moment we opened the door it had a clean smell and most hotels smell musty this one did not. The bed was very comfortable even the pillows and that's an accomplishment. The bath tub was sparkling even in the corners. I will stay here every time I'm going through from now on I highly recommend..oh and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel, bacon, sausage, real eggs, smooth gravy even fried potatoes and all hot and fresh.

i have a medical condition that causes me to have extremely heavy periods he made it his business to mention me having my period on the bedding both nights i was there i felt it was none of his business! i felt embarrassed.

The hotel stay was probably a 2 out of 5 but i had 2 separate reservations, one for a Friday and one for Saturday. I called and cancelled the saturday and was told i would get a refund. When i checked in Friday i again asked and Saturday and was told yes i would get a refund. Now they are saying i won't get a refund but i bet they rebooked the hotel for that night. Lady at front desk on Friday said she is glad i didn't want the room now since they don't have any for Saturday.

From check in to check out was phenomenal. The front desk host were smiling and very accommodating . Because of some pandemic restriction breakfast was still FULL and delicious. Everything else such as the pool, was still in operational, but was restricted to appointment by room only. The room was well worth the amount. The room was very spacious, beautiful bedding, a wonderful sitting/living area, great size television, fridge, and microwave!! The hotel is close to everything mostly in walking distance, a lot of wonderful restaurants! Very short drive to shopping centers! ALL and all wonderful hotel and I WILL be staying again!

This is a awesome hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room are clean and smells good. Housekeeping does a awesome job. The owner is great he is not stuck up and will talk with the guest. Just overall a awesome hotel and very friendly staff

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, but this was the worst. We ask for a different room and we're told that we could not get one. We were in the area where all the construction workers stay and it was very noisy. The bathroom was not clean and we killed at least 10 roaches.

The staff were exceptional both at check in and check out. Our room was clean and spacious. The location was easy to access, but situated so room are very quiet. Could not ask for more. Walkable choice of restaurants.

I read the reviews for this place before booking a hotel and most were very good. I'm glad so many others had a good experience, but we didn't. The room we were assigned to was not very clean. The floors were slippery, but not because they were so clean - they had a greasy feel to them. So we kept our shoes on. I found a long black hair on the bathroom wall. The door was off of alignment so that there was a decent-sized opening, enough for large insects to come in (and we were on the ground floor). The first night there were probably 4-5 guys outside just talking into the wee hours of the morning right outside of our room so we couldn't sleep (I don't fault the hotel for that, but it might be something others would take into consideration). There was a big dent in one of the lampshades and the water in the shower took forever to drain. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because the breakfast had a good selection, the area was clean, and the staff we interacted with were kind. I would not stay here again.

I love space and the XL Queen room gave me that and more with the living room space. Just a rule of thumb... Travel with your own cleaning supply. I rented three rooms for a family trip and really only had to "DEEP" clean one (crap on the bathroom door handle). The other two were inspected and then I lightly cleaned as we normally do for health and hygiene reasons.

Although the rooms are aging, this is a clean establishment that meets the standards Best Western customers expect. Rooms are not too small, so there is room for luggage and people can still move around easily. Breakfast included is convenient.

I had to be moved 3x. I couldn't even get any sleep. I had to throw away all by belongings. Rooms were nasty, flies everywhere. I would not recommend this to anyone. It's needs to best shut down and fully exterminated.

They treated us like we committed a crime! We booked two rooms. One room for my daughter's family and one for my husband and I. My daughter brought her dog. I never even thought about her dog when I booked it and checked us all in. We were not hiding the dog. We took her out of the car on arrival, where she took care of her potty business, outside, as she is house broken. Then walked her up stairs to the room. Straight back into her crate. The dog is only 6 lbs! The house keeper rushes down to the desk and tells that we have a dog. First, it was none of her business. Second, she had no idea if we paid extra for the dog or not. I made a genuine mistake booking it. Then the manager knocks on our door and says we must pay it or both rooms must check out! When I went to the desk, the manager and the clerk both gave me a nasty look and never cracked a smile while they processed thd payment. My daughter had to leave the next day, and find other accommidations to avoid another hellacious fee per night stay! I guess we are treated like criminals because we are animal lovers and treat animals like family. Dont expect anything but people to take your money! No such thing as customer service at this hotel!

If you want a nice very clean updated room with no hassles then this hotel is the place for you. I have stayed here multiple times over the past years and I have enjoyed every stay. It is professional staffed and ran by a professional manager Shanon Jones.

The rooms and location is why we stay here. Off the main path so don't have the noise that comes from being right on highway. Would recommend stay at this suites. The staff is very helpful and kind. Not far from MSU campus but far enough we don't have the noise of students.

The front desk was very nice and walking into the hotel was very clean and welcoming! The room was very spacious and really clean. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area! The hotel is also located in walking distance of restaurants which is very nice too.

I got the king suite deluxe and the bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable! The shower water pressure was to die for! It was in a secluded(it is off the highway but near restaurants, gas stations, shopping centers) but nice area of the town and I would definitely recommend!!

My 85 year old father needed a comfortable, handicapped accessible room for a few nights during a move. When we visited Best Western and asked if they had an available handicap accessible room, the front desk staff were super helpful and immediately let us preview the room for him. The room (306) was spacious, quiet, clean, and provided everything he needed. He felt very comfortable there during his stay, and I found the staff of the hotel to be friendly, concerned, and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here while travelling. The hotel was tricky for us to find, because it's kind of tucked behind a restaurant. The room was very clean, the mattress was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. There was a breakfast, but really nothing that appealed to me. Staff kind of watched while we ate, which was a bit uncomfortable. It's actually adjacent to a number of restaurants, making it easy to walk to them. That was nice, as it's located on a busy road. Access to the rooms is from outside, right off the parking lot which made it easy to load/unload the car.

Room, breakfast, exercise room, pool area, outside appearance are all top-notch. I'm a Platinum rewards member of Holiday Inn who losses the points opportunity when in Columbus because of Sharon, the staff, and the great service here. Clean, clean, clean home away from home!

We were in town for a graduation at Mississippi State University. It was approximately 20 minutes away, which wasn't bad. The hotel staff were very friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The price was a great value especially since it included breakfast.

This property is one of the best of the best. Given a choice, we choose Best Western and the Columbus, MS is the best. The manager there really cares and keeps things clean and working properly. Breakfast is always very good. Location is convenient and has easy access.

Air Freshner in the room was very strong. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and she said she hears that a lot. Seemed clean enough, but I wonder what they were covering up with all that air Freshner. The check in clerk smelled like weed. Breakfast was good.

Sharon and the staff she has wisely hired and maintained are an excellent team. This BW offers clean, well maintained rooms and public areas. Having an indoor pool is wonderful. Breakfast is hot with staff keeping it clean and stocked. This is a favorite stop in travels!

I was initially disappointed in this property because the online photos did not show that the rooms are exterior. I also checked in late and did not like checking in through a window with bullet proof glass, there was also an offensive odor in the check in area when we arrived. We paid an expensive rate to stay at this property and I did not expect any of this. The room, however was nice and the internet worked well. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was above what similarly rated hotels offer. There was a miscommunication about housekeeping, but the GM did take steps to correct it. I was unfamiliar with their billing structure as I have been loyal to another hotel chain with very different practices. Overall, this property met our needs and all of our issues were handled with professionalism. The other ladies that worked at the property (both breakfast service and housekeeping were great).

The room was very nice and roomy. The staff was very helpful, friendly and had a great sense of humor. The breakfast was good - not like the usual frozen to heated fare at hotels. The location was easy to get to, and there was a great restaurant (The Grill) right next to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Upon entering the establishment the lobby and outside grouds were extremely nice. The receptionist was pleasant, friendly and even suggested great resturants in tge area. The bed and rooms were very clean, relaxing and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. I loved how the manager Sharon Jones has a great relationship and bond with her co-workers and when you love you job it shows through your work thats why this hotel gets a 5star from me. The presentation, quality and selection were excellent. I normally do not find "Breakfast" potatoes, Turkey Sausage and grits on the breakfast bar. A quiet room, and a great breakfast, what else can you ask for? Rick

This is my Favorite place to stay when I visit my Child at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. It's clean, quite, and the staff knows us as soon as we walk in to check in. I highly recommend staying here for short or long term stays.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and I loved the sitting area. The hotal was in a great location and the staff was friendly and helpful. The indoor pool area is very nice and convenient.

This BW is staffed well. Breakfast is hot, with fresh eggs included. The rooms, water pressure, and pool are wonderful. I've stayed here before and will return. I use a variety of hotel chains in my travels. I use to stay elsewhere when in Columbus. Then I came home to BW!

Very nice stay, I would like to see more locations closer to greenwood. Very well kept location. Extremely well kep and update. We're from Minneapolis so a great sleep is very important for my family and great breakfast. Thankyou to the staff, they are a huge asset and deserve very high praise.

The room was clean and the decor was nice . I enjoyed my stay . The only downside was there was not a bath tub in the room . The complimentary breakfast was a plus . The area had many restaurants around it .

This is a clean place with updates that are very nice. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is always hot and plentiful. Internet has always been fast and when we were there when a tornado hit the staff was very helpful in letting our friends when they called to make sure we still had rooms and power. They let them know they are were not damaged and was with power since we were not there at the time of the storm and they could let us know.

Great value. Room was satisfactory. Check in was very quick and the front desk clerk was very friendly. Location is very near many restaurants and access to the facility is very easy although it is set off the road considerably. Wall to my took me was thin and I picked up every word of phone conversation next door.

Clean rooms, great breakfast, ggod internet, shower water pressure was terrible, the water didn't even get warm enough to take a comfortable bath or shower, pool was unavailable, kids partying in the parking lot until 5am running up & down stairs, very very noisy, check out staff was too busy berating someone on the phone to check me out, the night check in guy was awesome though.

I recommend this location, especially if you need space. The oversize room offered here is great. The front desk staff at check-in and check-out were very pleasant and our housekeeper was exceptionally friendly. Although the beds could be updated, our room was spacious, clean and we were comfortable.

Service and price CAN NOT be beat anywhere around Columbus. This was second visit within 2 months. Best in the Columbus area. It was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. The customer service was above and beyond normal you will find.

Seemed as if they were always running out of food. Also this is the first BW I've stayed where there were exterior instead of interior corridors. The largest rooms (mine) were in the building farthest away from the lobby and fitness center.

We always enjoy our visits to Columbus, Mississippi and our stay at this hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Even on busy football weekends we get great service!

As a retired military traveler this is by far the best value in the area. Their oversize king room for $75.00 (booked on BW website) saves a bundle and is bigger than my first entrapment :). Staff is great, breakfast is decent and you have to try the Grill restaurant just in front of the hotel.

We travel for leisure and stay at Best Western properties 50+ nights per year in various states. As such, we have experienced the offerings of a wide variety of properties, some good, some not so much. In our experience, this property ranks at the top of all the categories, the most important being customer service. In this stay, I must comment that the Columbus Executive Suites had a tough act to follow as we had spent the previous night in a Best Western Premier property in Natchez, MS where our accommodations were top notch and the service excellent. In Columbus, we were more than pleasantly surprised at the accommodations, service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and completeness of the breakfast. The room was spotless, the heat/air conditioning units appeared new and were very quiet and there was tile instead of being carpeted throughout. There was plenty of hot water and the drains worked as designed. The property sits back from the road, so there was no noise and our sleep on the very comfortable mattress was uninterrupted. WIFI worked great. Well done to management and staff!! The best evaluation a guest can provide is return business and we would not hesitate to come back and stay here again.

We checked in quit early, which was no problem at all according to the very friendly and humorous desk lady (sorry, forgot her name). She gave us a great room, 10 yards from the beautiful indoor pool, and 15 yards from the very good breakfast buffet. The room was huge, clean and had a very comfortable King bed. Lost of shops and restaurants in walking distance (try Jackson Square Grill), coud'nt be better. All the staffmembers were very friendly and helpfull. Would definitly stay here again.

Stayed at this BW for 5 days for a trip, and had the best experience. Rooms are huge. Very clean, even has that clean scent/smell to it. The free breakfast is fantastic (don't miss out). The staff is even better, they work as a great team. Seriously, great place!

Would not recommend this hotel since the General Manager engaged in insulting and changing rates as she pleased. Booked online on Best Western and when I get to check out my rate changed by the GM for charges that I am not even aware of. Called Customer care and they seemed to be less helpful and so I have initiated to contact the Chief Operating Officer David Kong of Best Western International for resolution on this problem.

Clean room with great size, priced well for type of room quality staff very friendly and helpful breakfast was great. Won't stay anywhere else best stay I ever had every time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great place, good breakfast. Very spacious room, great layout- very functional for business or a small family. We enjoyed being able to walk to all the surrounding restaurants. Having a refrigerator/microwave in the room was great also. Very good deal for the money!

We stayed here for two nights along with multiple family members and friends for my daughter's wedding. The staff was very helpful in accommodating our needs and dealing with last minute change in room needs. The breakfast was hot and had a variety of food items. The rooms were clean and I enjoyed an extra large king room so that we were able to have guests visit to our rooms.

Terrance Welch at the desk was excellent. He fixed my tv in a minute.I just pulled into the parking lot after 15 hours of driving and got lucky with this one. Service and breakfast was excellent. They had an indoor pool and laundry on site. Two deer came up to our room to say hi.

We stayed here to be near the hospital. It's minutes away. Very clean and neat property. Nothing fancy but very functional Drive up rooms but we felt safe. We were in the very back building in an over large room with couch and chairs. Super comfortable beds .Looks recently updated. Quiet area even though it's in a busy part of town. Didn't have time to take advantage of the indoor heated pool but it looked nice . Breakfast was good , all you could ask for ! Front desk lady on the 22nd a.m. was exceptionally kind to my mom !

This is a great hotel with extremely friendly staff who always make us feel welcome and go out of their way to make sure we have a good stay! We did not have the breakfast but love the location and the friendly staff. The rooms are always clean and quiet!

Would highly recommend this hotel. We chose it because of the indoor pool. The pool and area were clean and the pool was heated. We enjoyed it very much. There was a nice hot breakfast provided in the lobby area which was very clean and nice. The breakfast attendant was wonderful and made sure everything was adequately stocked. All of the staff was very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows provided. The hotel was right near restaurants and other activities. You could walk to several restaurants right next door. Overall very good experience and highly recommended.

The check in/out process was very easy. A long hold for incidental hold but i guess that's a company policy. Overall it was great. Buffet style breakfast with a full bar, it's great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was fabulous. The room was incredibly spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds and good quality pillows and bedding made for an excellent night's sleep and there was no noise to be heard at all. Breakfast was good and offered a wide choice of hot and cold items. For dinner choices, there are a multitude of options all within just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel - Lost Pizza, Longhorn Steakhouse, Peppers, Buffalo Wild Wings etc. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

The staff at this location are very pleasant especially the Assistant Manager!! The breakfast was good but would recommend possibly looking into getting 2 waffle machines. There are no elevators at this location. I was expecting an indoor hotel but the rooms were outside.

We stayed 3 nights the room was comfortable and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Motel is a little dated, but was very clean. We were worried about noise, but we were pleasantly pleased with how quiet it was.

Alarm for room next door woke me up before 5 am. Front desk blamed the fact that room was adjoining. Well, then don't assign adjoining. Rooms are nicely remodeled. Bed comfortable. Was given handicapped room. High toilet.

During my stay, I had a unique situation. The General Manager handled my issue, after normal business hours, while she was off-site, with compassion and professionalism. She is truly a valuable asset, that sets the standard in personalized conscious professional customer service. Refreshing to find in Columbus, MS.

Older styled property with room doors to the outside, but well cared for & updated. Good value for us. Would recommend to others. Was a little concerned when the lobby was locked & we had to communicate with the clerk through the hole in the window. But no trouble while we were there.

Old and run down. Rooms in need of general maintenance and overhaul. Staff was friendly. Road noise was excessive. Pull out sofa was inadequate and staff “ran out of linens” which is simply not acceptable. Will not return.

Between the cleanliness, security, staff, and breakfast, I would challenge anyone to find a better spot in Columbus than this one. I'm thru here ever 6 months for 911 service testing for cell phone towers. I travel all over from I-20 north to Tennessee border. Believe me, after 221 average days on the road a year, when I say I wish every place was this nice to come back to at the end of the day. Their breakfast is homemade. The quality, and cleanliness of the breakfast is a strong link in this chain of professionally managed property.You aren't just number. They truly care.

We had a King Suite and it was a great price, and a beautiful room. We stay at this hotel every time we come to see my daughter in Columbus, MS. We love the staff, the indoor pool and fitness center, and also the hot breakfast. Thanks to all of the staff for the great job that you do.

The only problem I had was the lady at the front desk wasn't very nice at check in. She wasn't considerate at all that I didn't want a smoking room I only took it because it said that's all that was available. When I arrived my room wasn't clean but there were other rooms that were! She still wouldn't let me have a different room. Then I had to go by medicine due to sleeping in a smoking room, and sanitizers to help with the odor! I ask for a bottom floor room and also an end unit upon booking and got neither. My only complaint was the check in lady! Nice hotel other employees were awesome! Will stay again and will recommend to others!

We stayed here for the State Bama game. Got a great rate for Veterans. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and by far the best free breakfast buffet ever! There is a shuttle for $10pp to go to the games that Columbus Visitors Bureau operates. Worth every penny. Be aware that the sofa bed is by request only. Since I didn't know that I didn't request. My 23 wasn't keen on sharing a bed with my 7 year old but since they were so tired after the game it wasn't the worst thing. But I did wish we had known.

My stay was and excellent experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I felt safe. Lots of businesses nearby but rooms very quiet, didn't hear any thing inside the room. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends

Both the treadmill and TV did not work in exercise room. There was a drastic increase in room cost due, almost double, to ballgame in adjacent town. I call this price-gouging. The breakfast was very good compared to other hotels.

For what we paid, our stay at this hotel was less than satisfactory. This was basically a motel room with a let-out couch. The first room did not have a working door lock so we could not get in. The second room was so humid that the sheets were wet to the touch. We felt gross after being in there for only ten minutes so I asked to switch rooms. The last room was OK (missing bulbs in lamp and broken iron). The customer service was really good. Every issue we had was addressed in a timely manner. The problem was just with the amount of issues we had in a 24 hour period. I would not stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly to our family. The real bargain is the breakfast not just the ordinary juice and Danish but hot biscuits and gravy along with sausage, fried potatoes, eggs, waffles, bacon and not just variety but good tasting home cooked food. Could not ask for any better at this price point

Was a very good experience. Was staying a night by myself with 2 small children. They made sure a was close to front desk and my vehicle was parked right outside my room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay three again when I go to get my grand babies.

Very helpful staff, I actually make a mistake with my booking, and they sorted it out without any drama. Check in and check out was smooth with very friendly staff that made us feel welcome. They were close to many restaurants and the also have a nice swimming pool.

Our family was visiting our son at CAB, traveling with 4 adults and 2 children. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful all around. The GM actually checked us in and was so personable. Breakfast was better than the standard continental and the breakfast hostess was pleasant and attentive. Great trip thanks to our experience at the hotel, no worries and no stress!

This a nice place to stay. The full breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was very disappointed to find in our "No Smoking" room some stale cigarette butts crushed in the corner of the nightstand, along with a partial box of Zyrtec D. I found this as we were checking out. I made pictures and reported it to the front desk clerk. She stated she was just filling in but would let management know and I could call them on Monday. I did email the manager, voicing my concerns. Just a little concerned now about the housekeeping practices.

These are very nice, clean suites with very comfortable beds and extremely friendly staff. Very conveniently located to all the great town of Columbus has to offer as well as 2 dirt race tracks! We stay here every year!

We were very satisfied with our stay. The Best Western full breakfast is always a hit! Our room was super nice and modern. My fiancé is quite sensitive to smells and has complained about hotel rooms in the past, but he was super pleased with this room!!

The cost of the room was very much in line and less than what you might expect. There was great access to local restaurants several just outside of the parking lot of the hotel. I love outside rooms but most of the hotels with outside rooms have declined but this one is it top shape.

This BW is the best I have stayed in. It's in a convenient location, close to restaurants and Wal-Mart. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is great. There's a wide variety of choices, including a full hot breakfast bar.

I did not like the air freshner. I have allergies and it is a problem. The overall stay was good. I would consider staying at this hotel again. I will request no air freshner. People have allergies. A nice stay at a good location.

I can only speak for room 301 which is the room in which we stayed. Love the size of the room. The furnishings were great because we had family visit and the sectional sofa and chair gave everyone a place to sit. What didn't I love -- the beds - they were so hard neither of us could sleep on them (and we tried both beds in the room). We got very little sleep. What could have been better -- the lighting was dim and the TV didn't have any of the channels we normally watch. Also note - the hotel is on the main thoroughfare and there is no traffic light at the entrance, nor are you connected through the parking lots to other businesses where you could get to a traffic light. Traffic was frequently bumper to bumper and you couldn't get out onto traffic very easily.

I have stayed at the hotel several different times, most of the time for 4 days at a time. The staff is always very professional and courteous. The only point of concern for me is the tv in the breakfast area if often set on sports for the morning. Being that we are traveling I would prefer to see the local weather, traffic and new so I could better plan my day.

We only stayed one night but everything was great. Would stay here again. The staff was very helpful. Everything we requested was provided. I would recommend this hotel to others. We did not eat breakfast but it did look good.

AC malfunctioned. We were moved to another room instantly.The room we were moved to was even nicer than the original room. The night manager was on the spot and went the extra mile to insure we were fully satisified.

Nice, well appointed rooms. Good breakfast. Indoor, heated swimming pool. Next door to a Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar. No elevator, but there are many rooms on the first floor. Rooms have brand new 1080p TVs and the remotes are cleaned by housekeeping.

Service was unbearably horrendous. Communication on bill payment were never the same from person to person causing undue aggravation. Found a cockroach in the pool area in which the employee was absolutely no help and didn't care. The next day there was a pigeon in the pool area to which the same employee said, "yes this happens a lot. it will eventually leave" To which I had to get the bird out myself just so my son could swim. Even after all of the aggravation, at no time did anyone apologize or even offer any solutions, credit, or sympathy. This is totally unacceptable practice in customer service industry.

Hotel refused to accommodate breakfast time as little as 5 minutes when the breakfast was available. There was no guest access to the lobby and guests had to wait outside until exactly 5:30. The guest only access door was also locked until exactly 5:30 and when the manager was asked to accommodate the guests they just stated it was their policy with no further explanation.

Best Western Hotels have made a great comeback over the past 10 years. The hotel staff was very hospitable and made our stay so pleasant...kudos to them! The hotel was very clean and well kept and, yes, the beds were terrific! I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you Best Western.

Not only does the structure and context of the hotel help to facilitate the whole process for visitors, but the personnel is professional, friendly and a pleasure to be around. Moreover, I have found the Hotel to be consistently organized and clean during each stay!

This was my third stay the this hotel. Since my last stay in February they have updated the rooms. I was completely happy with this hotel. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. If your in Columbus don't hesitate to stay here, you won't be disappointed. Great HDTV and internet speeds. Couches and desks. You can't go wrong!

I have traveled for business and pleasure during the course of my 70 years and was socked by the attitude of the hotel employee in talking to my traveling friend while obtaining a room. If it had not been so late I would have gone on down the road. My teenage grandson asked to use the restroom during this time but was told he could not unless he was a registered guest. What kind of hospitality is this! I had to pay $10.00 extra for breakfast because of there was three of us sharing the room. Before leaving in the morning I got a coffee and a little to eat but was first asked my room number and the name of my spouse. Maybe they thought I was a bum looking for a free meal. Really unbelievable. This franchise needs some training in people skills. The hotel only had a few guest form observing the number of cars present. Gee there maybe a good reason for that.

In all my years of staying at different hotels, I have never had a check-in experience as bad as this one, and pray that I never will again. After having an extremely stressful day, and being involved in an accident on the highway, me and my family were more than ready to get some much needed rest. Upon walking into the hotel, we were greeted by a gentleman front desk clerk who was incredibly nasty towards me and my family. I figured that this situation could be remedied by speaking to a manager, but to my dismay, even the manager was extremely rude towards me. The only thing that could possibly be the saving grace for this hotel, is the quality of their rooms and breakfast.

Poor inadaquate service. Contacted manager and she was rude and argumentative. Key cards did not work on two different occasions, room service terrible and breakfast service had milk in a glass container that was refilled without being washed out. You would ask, "How do I know?" When you leave door open as you refill bar this is what you see. No apology, and nothing was resolved at that moment. Took several calls to customer service to clear this matter.

My family and I were in town for a couple of nights and needed a reasonably priced hotel to crash. To our surprise this place was definitely a diamond in the rough. We had 3 rooms and all of them were HUGEMONGOUS!!! Honestly, if we'd known they were so big we would've only gotten two. LOL!! Needless to say our stay was great. Wi-fi took some time to work, the breakfast was good, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. We had a nice time and I'd choose Best Western again any day.

Absolutely wonderful, accommodating, friendliest staff. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable! I stayed at this hotel for 11 days. My room was always cleaned and my requests attended to promptly. The area has many restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel!

Rude reservation staff, cancelled my reservation 72 hours before my arrival, because that is when they run you debit or credit card, yes, 72 HOURS BEFORE you arrive. My debit card had been breached earlier in the week so it was declined. No call even though they say they did, and certainly no voice mail. Room smelled of urine, GROSS! I had to be the maintenance man and fix the toilet. Management said it would be 8am before someone would be in to fix it. Were we supposed to just keep using it and wait??? Not nearly enough towels available for swimming guests. you see plenty locked in a room but the night clerk could not access them. were told we had to leave the lobby at 10 because she had to lock up. My advise is never ever book here. stay in the next available town if no other rooms are available.

Our soccer team booked this hotel well in advance and it was still unable to meet our needs. We booked the two queen suite to accommodate three adults and a child and were told they were out of linens for the sofa bed. They were also unable to provide more than three towels for the four of us. The breakfast buffet was awful and poor stocked and maintained. Only one of our keys worked. The wifi was so slow we just didn't use it. The location was good and walking distance to restaurants. But we will look for other accommodations in the future.

Room was very clean, not a noisy location. Bed was comfy, a little on the soft side. Didn't make it down for breakfast in the morning. Walked next door to a Buffalo Wild Wings for late dinner. Next morning continued on our trip to Destin, FL down Hwy 45. Didn't make it down for breakfast in the morning.

Room was about what I expect for the price. Beds were very comfortable. TV had plenty of channels and worked fine. We also had comfortable seating area in room. I did not use the indoor pool, but went to look at it. It looked very nice. Pool room was warm, so I'm guessing the water was heated. Breakfast was good and lady in charge of breakfast was friendly. All staff we encountered were smiling and spoke to us. Cons: Young lady on staff during check-in was new and did not know how to handle a reservation paid with points and also had a hard time getting printer to work. She had to call someone to help her over the phone. Someone should have been with her to help handle her and my frustration. I don't blame her; I blame the manager. On another subject, walls were extremely thin and we could hear the people in the next room very clearly. Also, bathroom was TINY. Door barely missed hitting the toilet when opened. Sink and vanity were outside bathroom.

Clean and well-maintained lodging. The staff was very professional and friendly. They responded to our personal room preferences with outstanding courtesy. The breakfast was excellent. Without a question, one of our best accommodation experiences.

This is a older hotel but it is well maintained and managed. Everything works in the rooms. Rooms are clean, plenty of towels and supplies. Beds are pretty comfortable too. This is my go to hotel in Columbus.

The friendly staff made this hotel a good choice! Very friendly! The rooms were big. I could hear the people in the next room, and the room and pool could use a little maintenance, but I would stay here again.

Requested a Non-Smoking, was put in a smoking room with no other available. Floors were sticky, towels were dirty, pull out was broken, ash trays in the room, and it smelled bad. The breakfast bar was overwhelmed by people and no seating.

Stayed here for 2 months while I was working in Columbus, and looking for an apartment. The hotel staff was friendly every single time that I went to the front desk. The maid staff was very friendly when I seen them. They did a great job cleaning my room every day. The rooms are newly renovated so they have a modern look to them. It's the nicest Outdoor Best western that you will stay in. Highly recommend it.

On a cool, rainy evening in February the last thing I was anticipating having to do was to walk from my parked car to the lobby with my bags only to find out that I was booked into a room in the satellite building. This meant hauling my bags back to the car after check in and then out again and up to my room. It'd also help of the 2nd floor numbers were larger or llluminated to see from the ground in the dark. All that aside, the suite room was updated, spacious, fairly clean and comfortable although the pillows and towels both left something to be desired. A few other noticeable negatives was the unfriendly appearance of the bath fan, some orange-ish colored mildew in the shower, the shower head spraying water out the back of it and the lack of regular coffee with technology in room coffeemaker. On the positive side the service and expansive breakfast were both quite good. Overall my experience was okay and it certainly was nice the the Buffalo Wild Wings was right next door. I think I'd stay again but would prefer a room in the main building with a little bit more attention to tell details in the room. A good value in the hotel market in this day and age, decent with a little room for improvement. I'd consider staying again.

I stayed here for two nights for a mini vacation. The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was great, pool was clean and everyone was so nice. The manager name is Sharon. She made sure we were comfortable and that everything was alright during our stay. I will be staying here again. Great hotel to choose.

I travel constantly and this was the nicest Best Western that I have stayed at in Mississippi. Everything was clean, the staff was wonderful and friendly, the breakfast was great and the grounds were clean and I felt safe in this area.

I stay at this hotel only. I have tried most of the rest and i find this one the best for me for the money. Great staff and management. The breakfast is good but the buffet is hard to access some items in the back pans. Hint hint.

We were looking for a hotel in Columbus that had an indoor pool for our 4 kids to swim in while we stayed the night. This was the only hotel we could find that did. I was a bit skeptical because of the exterior corridors. (Not a big fan for safety reasons) But we booked it anyway and were very pleased. You can tell this hotel was recently updated and they did a great job with the renovations! We stayed in a double queen suit and couldn't believe the size of the room!!! It was huge!!! It even had an "L" shaped sectional couch that pulled out into a bed. The room was spotless and the linens smelled fresh! The room had everything you needed and the TV had 100's of channels, including all the HBO channels! My family of 6 and I travel a lot and this was the most comfortable room we have ever stayed in. The room was so big the kids even played "tag" before bed. The indoor pool was a perfect size and temp for the kids to play and swim in! On top of all the other positives this hotel offers, the staff was extremely nice and helpful! Everyone we spoke to wore a smile and had the eagerness to help! Their hot breakfast was good too! They have everything to start your day off great! My only complaint is that we stayed in, what I'm assuming is an addition to the hotel. It was across the parking lot from the main building. Not really a big deal, except for the fact it was raining during our stay. So unless we wanted to pile everyone in the car to get from the main building to ours, we had to walk across the parking lot in the rain. Not really a big deal, because the other positives outweighed that one negative! We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return the next time we visit Columbus!

Stayed in an Executive Suite, pleased with room updates and size of room. I would recommend this hotel for someone needing to stay in the area. This hotel met my expectations despite the no immediate water in fitness room.

I made a reservation at the end of July for Oct. 24. I reserved a room online using my credit card. Three days before my arrival, I was called by the hotel manager and told that the credit card I used to reserve the room was invalid. When I offered to give her a different credit card number, she told me the reservation had been cancelled and there were no rooms available. I was not even given the opportunity to use a different credit card to hold my reservation. I have never stayed at this property before, and because of this experience, I will never stay here in the future! I know for certain that other hotel chains will courteously allow you to change your credit card information if there is a problem so that you will not be inconvenienced with having to find another hotel at the last minute!

Clean rooms and solid service. Originally wanted to stay right off Hwy. 82 in newer hotels, but they were booked. Happen to find this Best Western just 2-3 minutes away and because of the location and it's being right next to restaurants and shopping, we just walked and never had to get back in the car to find something.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed in this motel and we most likely will stay again if we are in the area. The staff is second to none, the rooms are nice and the breakfast is very good. Sharon, the Manager, is absolutely terrific!! We certainly would recommend this motel.

When staying in a small town hotel my expectations are usually low, but this hotel could compete in larger cities. The rooms have recently been renovated and have all the amenities of higher end hotels. If you need to stay in Columbus this is a great place to stay.

This hotel is clean, the rooms are clean and plenty of room the relax, the staff is very friendly, Michelle Harris, the front desk clerk is great, she's friendly, helpful and she has an awesome personality. The free breakfast was good and hot. I will stay there again the next time I'm in that area.

Clean room; nice staff. Great for a one night stay. Lobby was locked upon late arrival; however, staff greeted us through glass window. Made me fee a little uneasy about our safety. Overall experience was excellent. Will stay there again.
