"Best western Plus is the best"
Excellent service, manager was so professional and so was the staff. Will stay there again on my next trip to the area! The breakfast meals were great, eating area clean and neat and the staff was helpful.
"Lacks hospitality "
This place just lacks hospitality. The staff here is rude. It's hard to get anything extra you may need. I placed trash outside my door as the housekeeper instructed me to. I overheard the houseman upset about having to grab it. The outside trash area was overflowing with trash. It is easy to get to from the highway.
"Best western"
It was one of the worst experiences ever. From the staff that's completely unprofessional to the food all of it was terrible. The person that cooks tge food had the dirtiest apron I ever saw in my life. The shuttle bus is in a horrible condition. For 20 dollars 2 pers for a taxi back to tge airport is not worthed to use the service. The rooms are a goid size but they smell bad. All in all that is definitely not a hotel that deserves the star it has or the 150$ a night.
"STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE !"
Checked in here for a three day trip. Had to travel to town for a funeral. I'll start with service The lady that works overnight Shayla is kind. The person who checked me in Ron was AMAZING shout out to him. He was the best part of the stay. After getting me all set up and even offering me an extra blanket I was excited about choosing this hotel. HOWEVER He only worked the day of my check in AND after he left, my stay went downhill fast. The lady who covered the front desk during evening shift was intentionally disrespectful towards guest. During one incident I called and asked about housekeeping and was told they only clean rooms every 4th day and that I basically couldn't get any refreshing done whatsoever because I was only staying 3days. During another incident involving the same employee I called down to the front desk for sheets and was told in a nasty tone to "come get them yourself" I thought maybe she had a bad start to her shift I will give her some time. I leave and go to the funeral and come back through the lobby my friend request sheets from her again she responds "tell her to come get them herself the next time" She gives us the sheets and I notice she doesn't give me any pillow cases but I don't mention it because I'm already super uncomfortable being in her presence so I go up to my room and wait for the next shift to come in for any further assistance I may have needed. Next the rooms rooms are basic slightly outdated carpets look like they haven't been properly cleaned in awhile. The bedframe was loose and so was the door. It barely locked! The cable TV picture is extremely poor as well. Tv doesn't show clearly at all. Breakfast for breakfast there were many options but the food was cold most of the time and you'd have to rewarm it up. Even if you go to breakfast early the food will be cold. The flavored coffee was a really nice touch. That was delicious. PARKING listen hear me out parking is TIGHT I witnessed so many people almost hit each other's cars while parking. The elevator. There is only one super slow elevator and it's time for a maintenance check on it. I thought I was going to go through floor the way it shook. Definitely WILL NOT be staying here again. I expected so much better. I also requested to speak with a manager and was told there was no general manager employed at the time. Would definitely still like the chance to speak with someone.
"Disappointed"
Booked here specifically because website indicated extended parking is available for overnight guests flying in /out of Atlanta. Arrived to find hotel does not have adequate parking for overnight guests and does not allow extended parking. In my booking request I specifically indicated that I wanted extended parking thru the weekend. As a frequent traveler in and out of Atlanta this will be my first and last stay at this location. Ironically I received an email with my paid receipt hours before I checked in.
"Stinks of marijuana. Cigarette butts in elevator. No coffee in the morning before 6:30. Paper thin walls"
Stinks of pot. and cigarette smoke. No coffee in the morning before 6:30. Coffee maker in room didn't work. Paper thin walls. This was a Sunday night. Small parking spaces. Check in staff fine. Early morning staff....forget it. Disinterested. Staring at their phone.
"Great people"
I checked in at 4:45 a.m. and they offered to move my reservation to the next day so I could sleep longer. I was still out by 1:00 p.m. but that extra few ours make all the difference and I really appreciate it. Nice place, clean a little older but a great value. The people make the place for sure.
"Would stay again"
Great value for the location and cleanliness and great breakfast. Staff is nice, but a $100 deposit is required and takes 7-10 business days to go back on. That was the only set back. Otherwise it was a great place and Typhena is a ray of sunshine to start your day at breakfast!
"Excellent Customer Service"
I will always stay here when I visit Atlanta. The front desk team was amazing and provided excellent customer service from arrival to departure. The breakfast attendant was the best. I will definitely be back.
"Worthless. Not worth a red cent"
Everything a NO. Management. Cleanin less, Staff, everything. There is NO excuse for the atrocity. Please at any and ALL cost. No matter what. Any reviews didn't get a full experience of this totally miss of a hotel. Not one good thing I can say about this place … not one.
"Great stay"
We arrived around 2AM, and the night manager, Ronald, made our stay. He was super friendly, professional, and helpful. While we were still unloading, he got a baggage cart and offered out kids a drink before they headed up to bed. Morning staff was also equally helpful and friendly. The woman running the breakfast station kept everything stocked and clean. Rooms were very large. Facility was clean. Would definitely stay here again.
"Great breakfast."
We stayed on our way home from a funeral because one of our family members needed to fly out of the Atlanta airport early. She used the complimentary airport shuttle and had a very good experience with it. My children loved the view of the Atlanta airport and watched the planes fly in and out. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. The hostess in charge of breakfast was amazing. She was efficient, engaging, and kind. The biggest drawback was that the beds were not as comfortable as we would like. They are a bit hard. But, I would still stay again if I needed easy access to the airport.
"Stay was just ok due to the front desk staff. Breakfast staff was wonderful!"
We attempted to call to get information about the shuttle service. We were either on hold for over 10 minutes or the calls were never answered or got hung up on. It was an extremely cold night and we were unaware that there were no pickups at the international terminal. Eventually got through to discover we had to move to the domestic terminal to be picked up. The cheerful and helpful breakfast attendant increased our opinion of this hotel staff.
"MANAGER IS RUDE"
i flew into ATL for a friend trip and first off when i got there there was nothing for me to carry my luggage into the hotel with. then when i went to check in the manger by the name of REBECCA was very rude. No eye contact was made and she proceeded to command me for my ID. There was no hey how are you today or no form of greeting. all she said was "I will need your ID to check in." Than i asked her how she was doing today and all she said was "I will need your ID to check in". When she gave me the room keys she didn't place them in my hand she slid them across the counter to me. She didn't even inform me of the amenities of the hotel that she made me pay for. other than that every thing was fine at the hotel besides me having to carry my luggage to the 4th floor. The manager Rebecca is very rude and unfriendly. i wouldnt recommend dealing with her. Totally not a good face for the company's look
"Good Airport Option"
I have stayed here twice now, when flying out of ATL. Easy drive to the Rental Car return center in the morning. Nice sized rooms, plus a fitness center, along with a complimentary hot breakfast. The staff has also been very friendly and helpful during my visits.
"very unprofessional"
I was not satisfied with the room, I expressed this to the manager up front and she was not helpful at all with accommodating me. the room had a lizard in it and she said that she wouldn't be able to move me to another room because they were booked. she didn't care to come check the room out or anything of that nature. I even told her i would take a downgrade and she still denied my request. Very unprofessional!
"College Park"
Terrible. We stay at Best Westerns most of the time when we travel. Which is often. I have never been more disappointed. This place should not have A rating of a Plus much less A Best Western. The staff was great it is the building itself, not taken care of or owner just doesn't care.
"Comfortable, Clean and Accomodating"
I recommend this place. I was looking into a last-minute stay during the day (early morning to afternoon as a waited on a connection flight) and they were able to accommodate me through day use webpage and even accommodate earlier check-in than scheduled. Comfortable and clean.
"Best western plus hotel college park, Georgia"
Great hotel. Convenient to I 85 and the Atlanta airport. About 10 minutes from the airport in less than a minute from high 85. The only drawback was the elevator was out of order two different days and we had to walk from the fifth floor to the first level. However the staff did correct the issue by the end of the day. Other than that I wish they had a pool. They only have a fitness center. The staff that's great I have no complaints on that. I would stay here again.
"Very BAD EXPERIENCE"
My stay was horrible! The room had roaches. I shared photos and videos with front desk. The room furniture was ragged and worn. The mini refrigerator was broken. There was no phone connection, no room service and no wake up calls. The sheets were thin and dingy. The breakfast was a waste no coffee, no hot water no waffle batter! No juice..a waste! I was EXTREMELY disappointed.
"Reservation not honored, no parking, charged my credit card w/out approval"
Believe all of their bad reviews - it's all true. My reservation was for a suite; we were put in a tiny closet of a room. Staff was rude and claimed they couldn't do anything about it. The place really does smell like marijuana, and there was no where to park - probably because they have random people hanging around outside the hotel and at their cars doing.. I'm not sure WHAT. Didn't feel safe at all. The day after check-out, I received an invoice for a room charge in my email. I used Best Western points for the stay yet they still charged my credit a fee of over $40. I have tried calling the hotel multiple times and I'm either hung up on, put on hold only for no one to ever return, or told "a manager will call me back," and no one ever does. I've tried emailing twice with no response. I've reported them for fraudulent charges and to Best Western. Beware and stay somewhere else.
"Parking was a joke"
No where to park in hotel parking lot. Threatened to get towed. Would not recommend staying at this place. Took over an hour to find a spot to park, Not even in the hotel parking lot. Room was nice though.
"Got Dupped"
I booked with BW on Travigo, Travigo passed my information to booking.com. I wanted to stay 3 nights but had to leave by the 2nd night. Went to check out they already charged me when on the website stated they would hold card until check out. BW, Travigo and Booking worked together to keep your money via a thing called a "virtual Card" and they did not mentioned this. I wanted to pay with my card. It was like a guarantee between the companies. I contacted booking, booking blamed BW for not refunding and BW blamed Booking. Therefore things happened and it doesn't go as planed they decided to keep my money. Do not use Booking.com nor Travigo to book your stay anywhere. They have a triangle they use to keep their business alive. I got scammed, therefore, do not use Booking.com or Travigo. BW refuse to refund my money as well.
"Great Experience!!"
I really enjoyed my stay at Best Western Hotel.. Rooms were nicely clean! The breakfast was great and staff were awesome! I would definitely book again!! Thanks for all the amenities and everything else it was great! I had everything I needed!
"Room had odor, internet poor"
Room had odor, poor internet. Overall was not a good experience. Would not recommend. Please contact me if you want more information. For the price the experience was not good. It would be nice to have someone contact me
"A good night stay"
I had a wonderful stay. All employees made you feel so welcome. The breakfast was good. I just wished they had some grits and cheese. I was happy they had a shuttle that goes yo the airport. I needed to get two blankets because the coves on the bed was to thin.
"Rude workers, dirty hallways and rooms , marihuana smells."
rude workers, no customer service, not enough food at breakfast, smelly rooms, people smoking marijuana outside the lobby. old and smelly mattresses. overpaid for the service you'll be receive, looking around maybe get another hotel better.
"Reservations not honored and staff not helpful"
We booked an executive suite in advance of our stay as we needed the extra space with 2 teenage children. When we arrived at 6pm on day of check in we were told they had given our room away and only had regular room with 2 double beds and a sofa. Front desk claimed to have been calling to tell us we did not have our suite, but they did not leave message. We had to take the room as we had no options at that point and had to get checked in and on to our event. When we returned to our room that evening, we discovered there were no sheets, blanket or pillow for the couch. We called front desk and they said they didn't have any. We asked them to please find some as we needed the couch bed to sleep on. One hour later I went down to the desk to ask if they found any as they had not brought them up to us. Both women that were working were busy on their phones and had not even looked. I asked them again for something and they went in back and came back with 2 fitted sheets that neither fit the bed, something that looked like a sheer curtain and pillow. They said they had nothing else. The next morning the housekeeper was very nice and got us the things we needed after a miserable 1st night. The 2nd night when we returned to the hotel pretty late after midnight, there were random people all over the lobby, it was a concerning environment. When we got off the elevator on the 2nd floor for our room, the whole hallway smelled like marijuana very strongly. Fortunately we could not smell it inside our room. This hotel was a very bad experience. I was very disappointed in our stay and would not stay here again, nor recommend it.
"Bedbug!!!"
They have bedbugs real bad and I was move to 4 different rooms they all had beg bugs ! Sabreenya made my children sleep in the lobby because she refused to move us into a room with no bed bugs she tried to accuse me of being the bedbugs like I have them in my own home and I don't she is very rude
"Safety was a concern"
I was to check in on July 2 while I was in town for a conference. I entered the hotel after being picked up at the airport by the shuttle and it was awful from the start. I approached the desk at 130pm and asked if I could check in early as I needed to be downtown and my flight was delayed so I was already late. The woman at the desk said no there are no rooms ready. Now I could understand if I was asking to check in at 11am but 30 minutes before my check in time and no rooms ready is a bit off putting. So I asked her if they could hold my bag while I was at my meetings. She said no she could not be responsible for them and followed that up with she needed to call her GM and ask. I cannot be the first person who requested early check in or bag storage at the hotel. While she called her GM I asked if I could use the bathroom to change my clothes. She said that was ok, so I did went around the corner to use the restrooms. I changed in there and it was dirty and dingy. Trying to make the best of the situation I changed and returned the the front desk. She said I could leave my bag in the conference room and it would be safe and locked up she gave me a sticky note and said to attach it to the bag. She took a copy of my license and I called an uber. While waiting for my uber there was so much questionable activity all around I began to question my choice to stay but already late for the conference I proceeded to leave. The uber driver asked me if I was staying there and confirmed what I thought all along. After my conference I went back to the hotel and walked right in the door went right in the conference room to get my bag and walked right out no questions asked. I am lucky it was there. No one was at the front desk so anyone could have walked off with my bag. I have never had a more unsettling experience in a hotel. I booked another hotel and now would like to be reimbursed for my troubles.
"Never Again - Don't waist your money"
First of all, it was 95 outside and 85 in my room all night. Only the low fan worked on the AC and couldn't keep up with the heat. There was dry sperm on the carpet next to the bed. The carpet, was filthy. The light switches were filthy, so much for sanitizing for COVID. The shower was so gross that I wouldn't shower in it. And lastly, they show you a picture of a newly renovated room and put you in an old dingy room. Never Again
"Dirty, dingy hotel"
i'm shocked this hotel is rated 3.7… yuck. the rooms are dingy, the elevator was tiny & dirty, you just felt yucky & not clean. the bed was hard. the sheets had dirt in them. i would not stay again. all of it was gross. pool, fitness room, gross.
"Dont stay here!"
Overpriced! Horrible hospitality. Very rude staff. Subpar accommodations. Hidden fees. Tried to come here for my birthday and get a whirlpool room. My experience here was lukewarm at best just the room itself. I experienced attitude and a surprise additional $100 fee at the door at check in. Then additional fees on my bill that were not explained when I booked the room. Then attitude everytime I even approached the front desk for anything. Staff is very rude and not hospitable at all.
"Vacation"
The manager was rude when bringing up issues. The front desk wasn't manned when we first arrived. I could hear the manager yelling and swearing on the phone the whole time. The pool was out of service but was not listed online or posted in the lobby.
"Close to ATL Rental Car Return"
The Front Desk Staff was very friendly and welcoming. But the room had a mild, musty odor and is in need of a refresh. Also the house music being played in the hallway was at a high enough volume that it could be heard inside my guest room.
"Convenient"
Shanna was very helpful in the morning. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. I would have appreciated knowing the night before that the shuttle was not on the half hour, as I was told at checkin, but makes its trip about every half hour. So be forewarned. Good value and there is food available within walking distance if you without a car.
"Very Clean"
Some reviews of this hotel had us worried about the quality. The quality was very good, everything worked, breakfast was good, but with all that goodness there were two spoilers. I doubt that many know that at this hotel you are only permitted 1 bath towel per guest. Never had this problem at any other hotels. Sometimes you need one towel for your hair and another for your body, especially if you have long hair. The other issue was the very loud and noisy HVAC system. It worked very well. Cooled the room very quickly. But every time the fan unit started we could no longer hear the TV. I don't know if this is the norm for this Best Western but if it is they were shafted by their HVAC company. One star taken away for their towel policy and one star taken away for the noisy HVAC system.
"Excellant Stay"
We were on a trip to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta on April 19th.We stayed at the Best Western Plus Airport South. We arrived on Monday April 18th. We were warmly greeted by Rebecca. I immediately knew that this was going to be a great stay. She was very friendly, helpful and professional. She made us feel at home! We had no complaints at all. The housekeeping staff was also quite friendly. Even though this hotel is across the interstate from the Atlanta airport, once you stepped inside you would have never known it. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you're in the Atlanta area. Thank again for everything
"Mattresses are horrible. Felt like I slept on a sidewalk."
The mattress was horrible. My body was sore from sleeping on it. I've never slept outside before but I imagine this is what it feels like. It almost felt like it was two box springs stacked on top of each other.
Shanna R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear value customer, we thank you for your stay and hope that they next time will be a better time.
"Old -Tired -Loud"
Hotel wide Muzak blasted all night and said they couldn't turn it down. The staff simply said nothing they could do. Hotel shuttle doesn't run on time and stops at 4 properties before airport. This prop is very old. Wooden thin doors with 1” gap. No sleep. No offer and no adjustments for any charges.
Shanna R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear value customer, we do apologize for the music in the hallway making your stay uncomfortable. This situation will be address to the manager. We are making new changes to the hotel and would love for you to return. Thanks again for your stay and we hope to see you soon.
"Trailer"
Do not stay at this hotel!! To this date I have not received a check out receipt or my $100 deposit that I was charged for bucking on line. The manager was even contacted by corporate and told to email me a receipt and my refundable deposit to which she has not as of March 27 2022. T This place needs new management and Investigating by the GBI !
"Great airport hotel"
Comfortable, friendly, good breakfast, convenient shuttle. We arranged to park our car while away and everything has worked out perfectly. This will be our new Atlanta airport hotel. We even got an upgraded room
"Clean And Comfy"
Literally went to sleep as if I was home when I got in bed! The shower was great I brought my own soap of course. Overall, the room was comfortable, and I would visit again if need be! I give this place 8/10
Shanna R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review

"Does this look like a $300/night hotel to you?"
Due to a nightmare at Atlanta airport, my wife and I were stranded on a Saturday night with no airline hotels available (as they had 'no more to give out' apparently). So, I booked this hotel on Expedia and was disconcerted by the price tag but what can you do? The cost was $259.12 plus $45.81 (taxes and fees) plus $39.64 (fees payable at the property) for a grand total of $300.64. Must be a good hotel for that price, right? Oooh, no ... nowhere near. First off, $45 for 1 night in taxes is outrageous. I have no idea what the extra $39.64 was for but I got a text from Expedia saying that there was another fee payable at the hotel of $28.63! For what and why?! Anyway, I called the hotel and was told the shuttle leaves at 11 pm so we were at the stop 5 minutes early but nothing. It was cold outside so I tried calling the hotel on numerous occasions either to be ignored or asked 'Can I put you on hold?'. I said 'No!' but was put on hold anyway! It took an hour to get the shuttle out so it was close to midnight by the time we checked in. The $28.63 was identified as a 'security fee' but the receptionist clearly didn't know what it was. It seems to be some sort of 'resort fee' scam for airport hotels. When we checked out, they did reverse the fee but I still paid the $39.64 to Expedia for (as far as I can tell) nothing whatsoever. The hotel was really poor. Astonishingly bad, in fact. Coffee was allegedly available 24 hours a day so we tried to get a cup but the machine didn't work. The breakfast was lamentable (literally no food!), there were stains on the sofa, the pool was closed and hardly looked like the sort of pool a $300/night hotel would have. The hotel is terrible, the staff are terrible, the breakfast is terrible and I would not recommend this property to anyone. Shame on you Expedia for even listing this dump.
Shanna R, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear Valued Guest, We regret to hear that you were not satisfied during your most recent stay at our property and wish we would have known about your issues while you were checked in or at checkout so that we may have been afforded the opportunity to correct any issues. We strive to provide a nice hot breakfast which consist of your choice of Waffles, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Patties, Turkey Sausage Links, Cheese Omelettes, Grits, Assorted Breads, Bagels, Danishes, Yogurt, Cereal and Oatmeal. We staff our breakfast with 2 breakfast attendants to ensure that all of our guest needs are being met while they dine in to the Complimentary Hot Breakfast. We provide coffee inside all 87 of our suite room accommodations as well as in the hotel breakfast area which is provided by a high-tech coffee and frappe dispenser which gives you a choice of 8 different flavors as well as frappes. Unfortunately, travel during peak seasons such as Spring Break, Race Week and Citywide Event Weeks you should expect higher hotel room rate as every hotel in the city was sold out and selling at higher rates, not just this property. We hope that you will reconsider and allow us to rectify this issue by calling and speak with management directly.
"Amazing Stay"
I've stayed here multiple times and each time it only seems to get better! Front desk staff is always amazing! Ms.Kaylin is such a joy and her customer service was so great on my last few stays these past months. She was very warm and kind and very smiley. And then I got to meet Ms.Shetori she's so sweet and very funny . I don't remember the other peoples names but they were nice. This location is a 10/10! And the breakfast has gotten so much better.
"Horrible experience!"
My experience at this hotel was HORRIBLE! My family was harassed and antagonized by a staff member. We were targeted by Shanna who identified herself as the Corporate Regional Director. Shanna was in the room next to ours #100. She made claims to her front desk staff saying she smelled marajuna coming from my room. I do NOT smoke AT ALL. When my sons and I entered the hallway leading to our room, I said “it smells like weed”. (I later read reviews on this College Park South location which stated the hotel smelled like weed the week before.) She then accused my sons of smoking marajuana in the hotel claiming she smelled it on them (another lie) and instructed her front desk staff to talk to them. Our second day there, my sons (19 & 16)were sitting outside the hotel on my car when they were suddenly surrounded by police, placed in handcuffs and searched. The police stated they received a call about them loitering and smoking weed in the parking lot which was not true. I addressed the front desk clerk and she denied any knowledge of the police being called. After that chain of events, we went back to our room to talk about what had just happened outside. 40 minutes later, I get a call from the front desk saying they just received a “noise complaint” for our room. At this point it's clear we are being targeted. I went to the front desk to ask for room relocation because I'm uncomfortable in our current room next to the General Manager Shanna as she was referred to me. Shanna happened to be walking past the desk at this same time. She immediately said “I think it's time for you to leave” I advised her I was not leaving and I would like to speak with the general manager. She then identified herself as not being the general manger, but the Corporate Regional Director. I began to express my frustration with her and her resolution was to leave the hotel and go somewhere where I would be happy. I again advised her I was not about to leave, I've paid my money to stay here and this is not professionalism or acceptable customer service. She became very condescending and armed with negative accusations. She accused my sons of standing in the stairwell next to her room talking about her. In actuality, They had no knowledge of who she was. She began violently attacked my parenting skills saying my children had not been raised right. In an effort to keep my composure, I decided to end the conversation. I asked for the number to corporate and Shanna's Last name. She told me she was the complaint person so complaints couldn't be made against her, but I could google the number and she was not providing her last name. I then asked if she was refusing to provide the contact information just to be clear. She then instructed the front desk clerk to look in the computer to give me the number. Being this incident took place outside of corporate business hours, I contacted corporate on day three (2-24-22)to explain the situation and my concerns. I was told I would be contacted by Shanna to try and reach a resolution to make my stay better. After making my complaint I was contacted by Shanna who stated I was placed on the “do not rent list”. She also said “all efforts had been exhausted and there was nothing else to do to make me happy. I immediately interrupted her to say “wait a minute, I was told you would be calling to try and reach a resolution that would rectify the situation. What warrants me being placed on the do not rent list? Shanna said it's something she has a right to do. I contacted corporate again to explain what had taken place. The young lady was flabbergasted and very apologetic. Shanna contacted corporate after she was contacted and launched another false claim. This time the claim stated I had 7people in my room. I'm new to Atlanta and I don't even know 7 people. The room was occupied by myself and my three sons. After I checked out and left , I received notifications from my bank that several charges were attempted to my debit card by the hotel another display dishonesty. I know this was a long read, but situations like this are deserving of awareness. People like this young woman should not be in the hospitality field. There was absolutely nothing hospitable about our stay. Even after addressing the issues nothing was done to improve our stay. We were discriminated against, targeted, lied on, disrespected, and my children were profiled. I will not encourage anyone who doesn't care to be treated the same way to stay here as long as Shanna is employed with this company
"Very Helpful"
When I walked into this place, I was very tired from being on the road for a long time. Rebecca at the front desk was like a breath of fresh air. She was very professional and helpful with everything. I recommend this place.
"Great Customer Service"
The staff here at this location are very friendly and professional. I had the opportunity to work with Ms. Kaylin at the front desk who provided me with everything that I needed to accommodate my stay. Check in is easy and smooth and they provide great breakfast. Look forward to future stays here!
"It was a nice, quiet stay."
The staff were always at the front desk and you didn't have to wait for someone to come. The room was clean and cozy and bedsheets we're clean too. The desk area and sofa was clean. There were also vending machines available.
"Best Western College Park"
Very nice hotel with a friendly staff and a good hot breakfast. I will definitely come again if I need to in the future. The hotel was also in a good location, very close to many things. They also had quality internet service.
"Loved my stay!!"
Very clean, cozy and the front desk ladies, Kaylin & Rebecca were friendly and always smiling! Would definitely stay again!! Housekeeping was sometimes lacking and loud in the breezeway but not enough to make my stay a bad stay.
"2/09/22 visit"
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and stocked. The breakfast was good and fresh. Rebecca and Kaylin Rocked. If we come through Atlanta again we will definitely stay here! We had a suite for a reasonable price. A desk and couch are nice.❤❤
"Don't go!"
There are a lot of hotels in the area. Avoid this one because it is not a pleasant stay. The rooms are old and dingy. The breakfast was the weakest I have ever experienced at a hotel. Find a different place!

"A great deal and more."
A great deal because of it's location to the airport and local transportation. The “And more”, well the and more are for the staff. One in particular is Kaylin Rebecca who made my checking simple and fast. I had been traveling for several hours and had to be up early the next morning for a meeting and work, thanks to Miss Kaylin knowledge of the local area, I was able to make a few quick stops, and make it to my meeting ahead of time. There are many hotels in that area but, for a “CLEAN ROOM” great staff including the shuttle drivers, at a great price there is no better choice.

"Great But Horrible"
Morning staff is absolutely AMAZING BEYOND PHENOMENAL JOB LADIES REBECCA AND KAYLIN! Those ladies were very pleasant and kind. I couldn't believe that I had a great encounter for the first time since I had checked in. Also, Ms.Shetori was very pleasant as well. Now that night shift is TERRIBLE that Ms.Nicole was horrible and she stated that she was a manager… absolutely a horrible choice for a management position. She didn't answer the phone! She was too busy laughing in some mans face and her delivery was horrible when I came to the desk. And my overall experience was a 7 out of 10 thanks to Kaylin and Rebecca.

"Not Clean"
The property is dated and overall pretty decent, but the cleaning staff needs to take the time to wipe everything down. It seemed that everything we touched was sticky. The location is close to the airport and I75 and that is why we picked this hotel.

"STAY AWAY!!!!"
Called hotel before booking and was told they have shuttle service that would pick me up from airport. Driver never showed and hotel didn't answer when I attempted to call back. Ended up sleeping in the airport. The next morning hotel staff said they have been experiencing problems with the transport service and were “sorry “ but couldn't reimburse me for a room I never got to stay in. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

"Relaxing Stay"
Kudos to the staff especially the morning crew of Shetori/Kaylin/Rebecca. Great one-night pit stop! Waffles for breakfast were really good. Clean room. Easy parking. Swift check-in and check out. Thanks!
"Worst stay ever"
Woke up to bed bug in the bed when I went to the front desk the staff wasn't there so I returned to the room but I didn't sleep cause I was scared…the room itself was nice though but the bed was hard waiting on management to respond

"Overall Trashy"
The vending machines worked correctly. Loud buzzing from PA speakers, shuttle did not run at night as advertised. The hotel itself didn't smell bad, just weird. There are just much better options in the area for the same price.

"At least the room as quiet"
If you're looking for the evening airport shuttle, find another hotel. If it even exists the driving is not going to the airport. There are hookers everywhere in the evenings too. The parking lot is full and dark and feels unsafe. Luckily there's a cop/detail and our car was fine. If you check in during the day, everyone is friendly but at night, good luck getting a coupon applied or feeling safe. But at least the room is quiet and I was greeted with my BW status.

"Service was great!"
Justin did a great job, He had a long line and handled it with ease. This place still needs some work though. The rooms need remodeled broken toilets, doors, burn marks everywhere just to name a few. We stay here frequently because it's convenient but sure wish they'd do something to the rooms. The best western in Duluth off Satellite is PERFECT! Smells AMAZING when you walk into the lobby. Always clean, it's newer so the rooms are good as well. I purchase pillows from the best western by my home in Florida because we love them so much but this one barley has pillows and its the little ones not the king pillows. pillows are important when away from home. over all decent stay so I will stop ranting about everything else. Have a great day, Give Justin a Bonus!!!

"Sweet employees"
We are from Alabama, we were headed to family's to celebrate thanksgiving and our car broke down on the side of 75, we call two different wrecker companies and both said they'd be there in 25 minutes or less, 2 hrs later nothing, so we had to wait on a friend from Alabama to come get us and take us there. I came in visibly upset and the only room they had was a king, of course I took it due to it was me and 3 kids stuck on a dangerous strip of round in the car. We got our room got comfortable and rested till we could get another car the next day and see that the one that was broken was hooked up and towed back home. The rooms was nice and clean. The employees we're great.

"Clean comfortable room near the ATL airport for a nice price."
The room was really clean. The bed was comfortable and the climate control worked well. I didn't really need much outside of checking in and out, so I cannot speak to the service other than my experience was good. I would totally stay here again should the need arise.

"Worst service ever"
When I arrived they had difficulty checking me in, then they charged the card my fiancé had put on file after I repeatedly asked them to charge the one I had handed them. Took their airport shuttle to the airport to meet her. Was told it ran every 30 minutes. After it wasn't on time I went to the front desk. She made me wait ten minutes before she would call to check on it, this was after I had already waited 5. She had to call over half a dozen people before she even figured out who was working it that day. When she finally talked to the right person they gave her no eta. It ended up arriving 40 minutes late. Then the driver refused to take me to the international terminal, so I had to wait for and take the airport shuttle from domestic. I didn't even bother trying to meet him back over there for the return trip, just took an Uber. The entire place smells of marijuana half the time, with the exception of one of the cleaning ladies who smelled like something had died. Cushions on the couch were ripped. Coffee maker doesn't work. Bathroom is poorly designed. Then to top it all off, I just went down for their bagged breakfast and they were out. Not that it's the biggest deal since it was just a bottle of water and the cheapest fruit cup and pastry that they can find at the dollar store down the street.
"Noisy"
The air conditioning unit in room was noisy. The elevator which was pretty close to the room I stayed in was squeaky and all night heard that and people laughing and talking well past midnight. The grab and go breakfast was not good, the fruit past it's prime and no coffee at all!! Not a pleasant experience at all! And the beds were very hard, could feel the springs in the mattress. No extra linens provided.
"Best Western MINUS"
One of the worst hotel experiences ever. Room was old and out of date. Refrigerator smelled. lampshades had holes in them. Bathroom fan ran constantly and was very loud. A full, hot breakfast was advertised. It was cold with few choices and the coffee maker was out of order. The floor breakfast room was dirty and sticky.

"Complete Disappointment"
I chose this hotel due to the close proximity to the airport and the airport shuttle. When we arrived at the International Terminal, there was a sign indicating to call the hotel to arrange for the shuttle. We called. And called. And called. We called dozens of times over a 35 minute period and the phone was not answered! FINALLY, after 35 minutes, they answered and we were told the shuttle looped thru the Domestic Terminal. We took a bus to that terminal and waited another 30+ minutes for a shuttle. The hotel is old and lacks modern upgrades. The carpets are worn and the room needs significant updates. We were told the airport shuttle begins at 5 AM and runs every 30 minutes. We were also told to arrive in the lobby 10-15 minutes early. We wanted the 6 AM, so we got to the lobby at 5:45 AM. 6:00 come and went. No shuttle. 6:15 - no shuttle. After the front desk called, it FINALLY showed at approx. 6:25. The check engine light was on. There was a low tire pressure light on. His low fuel light was on - had less than 12 miles to empty by the time we got to the airport - and the van was filthy. You can't make this stuff up. Almost everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Not at all a pleasant experience. Oh, and breakfast was supposed to be between 6-9 AM and it wasn't ready. We are generally happy with BW's, but we will NEVER stay at this one again. I'd rather sleep in the airport than give this hotel money.
S Daniels, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
I apologize that you had challenges with our shuttle service. I will be sure to address the shuttle service so that we provide the best service on a timely schedule. We appreciate your business and hope that you will stay with us again.

"Convenient and comfortable"
I've stayed at many Best Western hotels. BW continues to be in my top list of choice hotels when I travel because their prices are reasonable and their facilities tend to be “comfortable.” There's no “luxury” experience here, pretty much all the bells & whistles of a mid-grade hotel. This location was convenient to I-285, there's a McDonald's across the street, minutes away from the airport. The room was clean and spacious. There wasn't a lot of noise or door slams. The front desk staff was kind and courteous. Free grab and go breakfast that consisted of a fruit cup, granola bar, coffee cake and an apple. Coffeemaker provided w/coffee in room. Rooms were clean, WiFi free & reliable.

"Misrepresentation of Charges"
The amount I was charged was a lot more than my reservation stated. I had asked to see my charges several times - my invoice was not ready upon my departure so I still could not view it. The next day it was sent to me and I was charged $150.40 vs $135.83 - with my credit I presented it should have been $115.83 - totally unacceptable!

"Good."
I won't complain about my stay this was just a getaway. "Great !"
Thanks to Miss Shetori I was able to get a room with no problem! She was VERY helpful, answered ALL my questions, and she remembered my name when I told her I had called the hotel phone. My stay was great thanks to her. Thank you Best Western you have a great staff team. Congratulations as well Miss Shetori !!!!
"Customer Service"
Overall lacking in attention to details, long waits on the phone to get a shuttle…Having stayed at this hotel for every year for the last 10 years for DragonCon we have come to expect better services than we received in this visit…
"Ms"
Hospitality experience 100 there's not very much of that in the state of Georgia.they could have a better breakfast selection but overall there nice very clean rooms are spacious maids are curious but nice
"A Place For The People...Best Western, Best Choice!"
Running from a hurricane during a pandemic can be immensely stressful and challenging to say the least. However when you land in a place such as this you know that God is with you. James, the front desk agent was extremely friendly from the moment we walked through the door. His professionalism was coupled with compassion from the time that we checked in and remained until check out time. During his shift He, In casual conversations, He would always remind us that "things were gonna work". That helped us get through a really difficult time. I am forever grateful to the team here for the kindness shown during our stay. If your looking for a clean stay, spacious rooms with, affordable rates with excellent service, I highly recommend this place.
"Excellent Stay"
Very clean and spacious. The desk clerk James was very professional and helpful. Ready to assist our needs. The rooms were cozy. I like the couch area, desk to conduct business, and the microwave & fridge inside the room for convenient access to reheat and store food & beverages.
"Big City Comfort"
This location was perfect because all of my business were on this side of the city. I did not have to go into the city with all the traffic. The area and the hotel were secure. I will definite stay here again.
"Decent"
Good Experience , People was okay. it was a decent last minute stay, room wasnt the best but trust it wasn't the worst, location was good for everything that i planned to attend, parking is a little rough but other then that good, would do again.
"It's OK. Clean & good location!"
The room is clean and big enough for me. I'm happy with it. Front desk is nice (someone is nice someone is not I don't remember names). Just don't like the Air Conditioner, it's noisy, wakes me up at night. I stayed here 2 times and to me the upper level was better because the lower level was noisy. There was some talking outside until midnight. I'll choose this hotel again when needed and wish the price is lower a bit.
"Nice people"
Loved the people. Just would like everyday to have the room cleaned and fresh towels and wash clothes. It is also, time to open up for breakfast in the morning. The first night the room was nice and clean.
"Bed Bugs!"
This was legitimately the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. Hotel was not very clean, the pool was closed, the carpet in the halls and room was gross. People hanging out in the parking lot were sketchy. Hotel smelled like people were smoking inside. Woke up with bed bug bites! That has been physically hurtful, and logistically annoying, it has also been disturbing. Hotel management denied that they came from their hotel!

"Not what I expected!"
The staff lingered around and took their time for check in! I saw one of the staff members that was on the clock buying liquor from the liquor store. The lobby was packed, it was horrible. Upon arriving in the room, it smelled of cheap perfume as if someone had sprayed it to mask some other odors that were in the room! The jetted tub was dirty and that was the reason I booked the room despite having my own cleaning supplies! This was overall a horrible experience, & definitely not worth the money I spent!

"location was great"
The hotel is n a good location, but the parking is terrible. The staff at the desk are rude and extremely inconsiderate of the guests. I called down multiple times on the morning of checkout and no one answered, I came in around 2am and the clerk just dumb founded stared at me and never spoke. Its like they just want a paycheck and don't care about service. My room was clean, but coffee maker and clock were broken. I was overcharged with a hidden fee that is not reflected on the website nor is it an additional tax. Its a fee the hotel charges to that's hidden and unacceptable. The hotel charges $50 for diamond members to check in early and they could care less about breakfast because they ran out before it was over and that's not acceptable at all. Management was no where to be found, I saw in other reviews it was the same with the staff and management no where to be found.
"James Very Helpful!"
I had got off the plan early like way before check in time he was able to get me a room fast and the prices was reasonable!! (this was the third hotel I went too to try and get early check in) the room was also nice.

"Trip to College Park."
We enjoyed our room. The room was clean and stocked. The remote did not really work but, I changed the channel on the tv and just watched one channel. The only real complaint (if you want to call it that) was there were no USB ports to charge my phone. I plugged it into the tv while we were watching it to allow a small percentage to charge.
S Daniels, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
My apologies for your experience with the TV remote. We are currently working on a plan to address the availability of charging stations/outlets in the guest rooms. Please know that we appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again.
"Don't stay here unless you can't afford ANYWHERE else!"
This hotel sucked! It was the kind of hotel room where you don't want to take your socks off because you don't trust how clean the carpet is. I also felt like I was in a CSI episode because right after I checked into the hotel, two guys with t-shirts that said "SECURITY" on the front came busting in and were saying to each other, "ok you take the top floor, and I'll take the bottom" like they were looking for a criminal in the hotel I just checked into. My room stunk and I could hear everyone's conversation whether they were in the room next to me or in the hallway. The room and lobby internet were horrible and I ended up having to use my cell phone's hot spot. The people that worked at the front desk acted like they could care less about being at work. They weren't rude, just couldn't care less. Overall, it was horrible for me and I hope it's better for you!

"Great location, No caring front desk Staff, Security concern"
The hotel is in great location, accessible. I picked the hotel because thought there was a good deal. Parking - you will get if you are lucky. Security - There is a warning, leave your car and belongings your own risk (implies security issue) Front desk - they are NOT friendly, kinda you go find your own things, if you need towels go find the housekeeping in your floor and get it. Bill Accuracy - I was charged $8 more than the reservation amount, when called (after too many Hellos) told its service charge. Because of the additional charge, it took away the best deal as well. I should have paid $10-20 and stayed in a better hotel, I won't go back to this hotel again.

"DISGUSTING & UNSAFE"
The pillows had dark curly hair all over them when I first got up to the room (my hair is blonde and straight). There was dried up contact lenses in the sheets also. So obviously nothing was washed. The TV was not working and the room smelled like mildew. When I shut the door I thought the lock on the door did not work so I made sure to latch the deadbolt. WELL THANK GOD I DID!!! After being in the room for less than an hour I had just fallen asleep and I had someone USING A KEY and trying to push their way into my room!!! I was traveling by myself and it was 2am, so this was a terrifying experience. I proceeded to go downstairs to inform the front desk lady and she said “Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot I put you in that room.” The man who tried walking into my room was also in the lobby and said that he had walked into THREE ROOMS where people were already sleeping in them. The lady at the front desk said she didn't even fully check me in and that she just gave me a key because she was “confused.” THE FRONT DESK LADY IS JUST HANDING ROOM KEYS OUT TO RANDOM ROOMS HOPING THEY ARE OPEN! I asked to speak with the manager because the front desk lady was obviously no help at all. I immediately asked for a refund and said I would rather not sleep somewhere where strangers are walking into my room while I sleep. I was originally told that a refund would be issued to me by both the front desk lady and the manager. Since I was already skeptical about the front desk lady and the manager, I asked for written proof that I would be given a refund and ALL OF A SUDDEN they said a refund would not be able to be issued. Very convenient that when I ask for proof of a refund, all of a sudden they can't do it anymore. I then said that I would not be leaving until I had proof of a refund because I was in the room for less than an hour and had a STRANGER WALK IN WITH THE KEY HE WAS GIVEN. The manager then said she “did not have time for this” and that “she was working on other things” (....... at 2am)!? Bottom line is, this place is disgusting and completely unsafe. Staff and management is worthless. I would not even let my worst enemy stay here. I am so lucky that nothing terrible happened to me. This sad excuse for a hotel put me in a potentially VERY DANGEROUS situation.
S Daniels, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review

"Work travel"
Terrible, computers, wifi, tv all down! Front desk agent is very pleasant and handling it well but no timeframe on any of these things working again no parking at all in the parking lot, so you better hope somebody leaves or you will have nowhere to park if you're staying here. No way to know or verify that the rate you initially booked or the room is going to be the same since the computers are down! Ice machine only on second floor which smells like mildew. Hot mess! Stay somewhere else!
"Good Service"
I am highly impressed by the particularly the front desk staff. The only thing is about the hotel guests, some are noisy. The hotel may not have full control of this situation but some thing to be done.
"Friendly Staff, Clean Room"
Staff was great and the jacuzzi was a much needed relaxation tool. Room was clean and amenities were good. Neighborhood was a little barren but the hotel was a good refuge. Good food available for delivery.
"Great stay"

"Had to leave after 5 minutes"
This place was disgusting. Drove up and was amazed how different it looked from the picture. The entry door was pried on from the outside, smelled awful, dark, chair was torn, roach running in the bathtub when I turned the light on. I walked right out. Desk person didn't have anything to say when I told him the issues and that I wasn't staying. Said I couldn't get my money back.

costumer service is an art when done right but that's not the case at this location sadly as ah rewards member who's spending money at your hotel with the service i have thus far is below par and until things change with staff training and brand loyalty this won't be an option to stay moving forward i hope management can retrain the front desk staff so they understand what I CARE means on member web and pass all tasks before you allow them the power to get another BAD review

"Semen stains everywhere on toilet and couches smell like a nursing home I use to visit my grandmother in"
1556 Phoenix Blvd Atlanta, GA 30349United States do not comeeeee !!!! It's directly from the airport so this is the first place people choose . They have men semen stains all In the room on the toilets , they have the clean safe environment sign to cover up there bad job of cleaning .. I actually moved here on January 2021 so seeing this I know this is unacceptable. I believe they looked at me like a prostitute and thought I was going to be able to deal with it . All of the second floor smelled like a nursing home . I took pictures and told the front desk, they made me write a note for the manager , and said they will be back later this afternoon . They made no effort to try to refund me or compensate my stay. Or even give me the manager number . I rather come to the people about the situation then have to put them out in public like this . There's no excuse during this epidemic to create an unhealthy stay for people coming into Atlanta. They obviously do not care for your well being .

We had an unexpected layover in Atlanta and were able to secure a reservation here for a very reasonable price that included free round trip airport shuttle and grab and go breakfast. The hotel is older and has had some updates but falls short of other Best Western Plus properties. Our room was pretty clean and the bed firm and comfortable. Well worth the price.

"I ENJOYED MY STAY!"
I found myself in need of a hotel for a couple of weeks while transitioning out of a relationship. I had stayed at BW before when I visited Atlanta while living in North Carolina. I moved back to Atlanta and I remembered them. The rooms are nice, spacious, clean and a good value for my money. I LOVE the staff here! Everyone made my stay comfortable and stress free. When you're going through stressful, personal situations, it's VERY important to receive good Customer Service. BW did it! I will be here for a few more days and I will return here when in need of lodging again. Highly recommend!

"Terrible! Stay at Best Western Plus ATL Airport East instead."
The shower head in my room was horrible and made taking a shower a task instead of enjoyable. The hot water took so long to get hot I asked the front desk if something was wrong with it. You have to wait a very long time for it to get hot enough to shower. The remote for my TV wouldn't change the channels. They sent someone from housekeeping to fix it and she said it must be the TV because it was doing the same on two remotes. I called the front desk to see if I could extend my late check out by an hour and the manager that spoke to me said no because housekeeping needs the extra time to clean due to COVID and then hung up on me. There were hairs left on the toilet from their previous cleaning job. This place is disgusting and gross. I would recommend you stay at the Best Western Plus EAST on 301 N Central Ave in Hapeville,GA. It's not that far away and MUCH better. The way this hotel is managed is sad. Don't ruin your night by staying here.

"Just a dump!"
We have stayed at several BW Plus and they've been ok but this location is a good place to avoid at all cost, first off there was a lot of fast food meal trash at the entrance and the carpet inside was filthy. The elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs and then the key cards wouldn't work so after several trips to the front desk, we were in. I took my socks off and walked to the shower and stepped in and I left filthy tracks in the tub so the carpet must have been horribly dirty. When we reserved the room we chose this hotel because breakfast buffet was included but if wasn't open, only coffee juice muffins so we had to go out for breakfast, on arriving back at the hotel the elevator was broken again and the room key cards wouldn't work again so more trips down the stairs to front desk and eve the lady couldn't open it so we had to wait outside the room till she couldn't find a maintenance man, so basically steer clear of this location, it's just not worth it!

"Was ok"
I had an overnight play over, so the airline provided me a free hotel stay. It was very close to the airport and the airport shuttle was great. The hotel was average. The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel room needed updating. The carpet felt kind of gross under my feet. And the sheets had random stains. The fridge was not cold.

"Best Visit Ever"
Excellent staff, Very clean rooms. Will only stay here when I come to Atlanta . They also had a free airport shuttle. They also had a option to take me to the city which I thought was great. Just loved this place!!

"price was right, I'll look harder next time"
The A/C was on low when arrived but room smelled damp. It does appear that the rooms have been recently painted and was clean. No breakfast due to Covid. Did have coffee but was told had to bring your own cup. Front desk not real outgoing or helpful with local info on finding a place to eat. Airport shuttle was helpful and timely. Walls are thin and can hear the people in the next room talking. You get what you pay for!

"A lot of traffic in the hotel"
We enjoy our stay but questioned the security of safety it was a lot of night traffic that was concerning we didn't feel to safe at night the door locks was very weak to say the least a lot of noise as well

"Best Western should be ashamed"
This is the worst best western I've ever stayed at. The outside security cameras point down to the ground. The parking lot is tiny. The rooms are old and outdated the beds are so uncomfortable... This hotel is in the ghetto, people smoke weed inside the hotel and nothing gets done about it. While sitting in my truck one day, I saw a lady set her liquor bottle on top of her car and use the bathroom in the grass... Stay away from this place... it is not worth staying here.
"Great stop"
At first I tried to check in early and the staff member who was there was very abrupt at saying I couldn't check in before 1400. After I came back to check in the same lady was there and previously the attitude had gone and oh she saw that I was a gold card holder so was trying hard to be polite. The room itself was very nice spacious room comfortable had a couch king size bed so very enjoyable being comfortable when away from home. I was advised that there will be no breakfast as it's in a time where it's not allowed to use the breakfast area.
"Great beautiful hotel"
First off the hotel is beautiful. They maintain the property nicely. The gentlemen who checked me in was above amazing. I wish I would've got his name. I am deaf and he truly was patient with me and took his time. Lots of people are NOT taught how to deal with a deaf person. They know when someone is HoH to speak up but speaking up or telling doesn't help a deaf person. For that man o would truly stay here again if I ever needed weather business or pleasure.
"Do not leave your car parked here"
After a wonderful vacation away from home came back to the hotel to find my new vehicle dented in the hatch .. the hotel allows cars to park way to close and people were parked in the no parking fire zone .. called hotel to find out if they have a camera on a Friday and the manager was out and she's the only one who can look and called back on Monday and they say the camera doesn't go back that far .. lol ... so do not park your vehicles at this hotel !!!!
"doubled charged for 1 room 1 night solo traveler"
spent 1 night solo traveler on a stop over flight. Realised i was charged 2 times different rates for that same night . More than 1 month later still arguing with the hotel about the charge. REally poor customer service from the hotel and Bestwestern in general.
"Nice Place"
Clean, comfortable and well staffed. Great value. Just stayed overnight but was VERY quiet and got good rest, full breakfast and headed to ATL. Will stay again. Booked with Travelocity only because rates were better through them.
"Atlanta"
A+ excellent. Very clean hotel in general. Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hot and seating and tables clean. General Manager was excellent. All staff was friendly and helpful. Transportation was on time and friendly.
"I enjoyed my stay"
enjoyed my stay, the customer service was great! I had a problem with hot water, maintenance and the GM handled it IMMEDIATELY! Breakfast was super hot and fresh. I will be staying again in the near future
"My Stay Was Very Uncomfortable!"
This hotel is not very clean, and some of the guests you encounter are questionable. I was not comfortable in my room, and the furniture and carpet need to be updated, in and out of the rooms. I would not recommend this hotel!!!
"Horrible stay twice in one week"
OK so where to start: i booked this hotel because i was transferring planes and just needed a room to sleep. Guess what? didnt sleep on both stays. The first night was juste before the football game and the hotel was full of noisy young ppl. the whole night (until 5am), groups kept yelling and laughing out loud in the corridors, going from room to room to see their friends, and up and down the elevator (which was opposite of my door). No sleep. One week later, again, between two planes, i decided to come back. This time, my room's next door neighbours came back at 4:30am, put the TV super loud, and then decided to have sex and scream like pigs (i guess the TV was to cover their noises)... it didnt: the walls are super thin and you can hear ppl. I banged on the wall, they told me to f*** myself. I called them on their line, they didnt answer, and continued for more than one hour!!! Amazing. Called reception which was very apologetic, and they also tried to call them (i could hear the phone ringing) and they also didnt pikc up and continued. Unacceptable. Room: The room itself is nice, very large, the bed is also large but the sheets were placed upside down, so it made me think that they are just recylcing the same bedsheets between customers by reversing them (gross). There is a fridge (empty so no mini bar) and a micro oven (practical). Breakfast: dont even bother, it's disgusting! the eggs are not even real eggs, the patty was not meat either, the roasted potatoes were undercooked, the pastries were dry and mass produced, the juices were all chemical, and you need to eat in a carton plate with plastic utensils (really???? oh great for the environment) that you need to put in the trash yourself. No service there whatsoever either. Shuttle: what a joke again. the first time, it was very closed to midnight, no more shuttle. Another guest called them so they came after 45 min wait, and arrived just before the limit of check in (midnight). the second time, they said they were on the way (takes 10min from the hotel to the airport), and it came 45 min later. I froze my ass for one hour, while other hotel shuttles passed by 3-4 times in the same period. If i knew the whole experience would be that terrible, i would have spent more money to book at the Hyatt or Marriott. More expensive but at least, you get to sleep! Do NOT recommend staying here.
"Called for shuttle bus 4x. Left standing in cold for more than an hour"
The day before my booking, I called to find out about the airport shuttle and how to find it. I was told you go to ground transportation and give the hotel a call. Since Atlanta is a huge airport I asked which terminal? I was told any terminal. After collecting my bags from international, I went to ground transportation in the international concourse - F. I phoned the hotel and I was told they only pick up from domestic. When I get there give them a call. I went to domestic ground terminal and noticed they have a check-in for the airport shuttles. I realized this check-in is just to let the attendants know you are waiting for a particular hotel shuttle and they do not call the hotel. Since the hotel reception told me to call back- I did. They told me. It's on the way. Btw- there are two Best Westerns servicing the airport. One in the east that is a larger shuttle the size a small school bus. This seems to come frequently and is shared with another hotel. Then the one for this hotel - best western airport south looks like a small van and the company logo isn't as big. I heard the attendent say best western airport south and I saw the shuttle. Except by the time the driver could tell me it's not the right Best Western shuttle. The one I needed drove off. I couldn't believe it. I had called twice and left my full name. I called again and told them there were two best western shuttles and the one I needed left. Reception asked. Did he just leave? Thanks told her - yes it just left. She said I'll tell him to come back. I am sure a lot more than 15 minutes past. Another hotel shuttle driver saw me freezing and said call them back and scream at them. He would have taken me but it wasn't along his route. I called again and asked when will he be here? I was told the she doesn't know. She also doesn't know how I missed the shuttle. I thought thank you for blaming me – your supposed client!! He came back and I flagged him down because I didn't want to be missed again. He motioned that he needs to wait until the other shuttle clear the area. I thought that sounds reasonable. I finally got on the shuttle and reached the hotel. At check in reception apologized and said she told him to go back fast since it was really cold. His movement to me didn't seem to suggest any urgency and he didn't apologize or mention anything. I think if you are depending on an airport shuttle go to a hotel – then you should take one that has frequent service and not book at this hotel. I saw Marriott and Quality inn pulling in frequently. I was told breakfast starts at 6 am and the shuttle in the morning starts at 5 am. Since it seemed to take awhile to get to domestic last night and the shuttle seemed unreliable I decided to leave on the 6 am shuttle. The same person in reception from last night was still there. I guess the shift didn't end. She checked me out and told me there is coffee in the dining area. I thought that is good. I didn't expect anything since I was leaving before 6 am when breakfast starts. I noticed some pastries in the corner and took a plate. The attendant told me breakfast hasn't started. I said - I know but can't I just take a pastry? She actually told me – NO. However she did say the reception is supposed to give a packed breakfast for people leaving early. I thought- why didn't I get told this before? I went back to reception and asked about the brown bag breakfast. She said- I don't think they made any but I'll make you a bag. She did deliver the bag which was helpful. I went out to the shuttle at 5 minutes to 6 am and found the driver sleeping. I didn't want him just driving off like the guy from last night … so I knocked on the window. He seemed annoyed and said - the shuttle only leaves at 6 am. I said - I know but can I get in the shuttle. He got my bag and repeated the shuttle only leaves at 6 am. I told him - I know and this is fine. I just wanted to make sure I got on. He said- you don't have have to worry about getting on. Hardly no one comes at this time. My thoughts- I guess I messed up him getting 30 minutes more sleep. What was good 1. Reception was friendly and check-in fast 2. Rooms are a good size and newer furniture 3. Individual heating unit that you can control 4. Checkout was quick 5. Even though room 303 is in front of the elevator I didn't hear a lot of noise What needs improvement 1. Training in proper customer service skills are needed 2. The shuttle bus needs to be reliable 3. The carpet in the room is old and shows the age of the hotel 4. Complaining about possible new uniforms in front of a client is unprofessional
"Stay at best western !!"
My stay at best western is was awesome they made me feel like I was @ home but with more comfortable feelings . The room was very clean , bathroom was clean and service was amazing . Definitely would recommend
"Great hotel, service, & room"
I was coming from Birmingham and had an early flight out of Atlanta so I only stayed for the night, but what a great room. Super clean, had a kitchen, and a great bed. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it.
"Fantastic service people were very friendly"
I felt right at home they gave me exceptional service regardless what I needed. It's convenient to all locations easy access to all the freeways and airport. Rooms are clean breakfast is great. Staff very courteous
"Good Value"
This is a great choice if you are coming to town for a concert at Center Stage. You can get the shuttle to the airport, catch the MARTA train to Arts Center Station and a 5 min walk to Center Stage. Nuce folks here, clean room, hot/cold breakfast options. Only minor negative is not many food options close for lunch dinner.
"MILDEW ON MY PILLOWS!"
Mildew on my pillows! Stay at Best Western near Atlanta airport, when I arrived at my first room the a/c was emiting a mildew like smell. Called downstairs and exchange rooms, and realized after we got up that all of our pillows had mildew on them.
"Good location and price"
Near airport. Shuttle bus between airport and hotel is convenient. Room is clean and big. Price is cheaper than hotels of city center, no parking fee. Easy to park car. The staff are kindly and helpful.
"great hotel and staff next to airport"
Great hotel and staff, next to airport. The place was new with good parking. Close to many eateries and shopping needs. The breakfast was good . My room had extra couch living room. I would stay here again. I even signed up as rewards member.
"Unsafe Parking Lot"
My wife and I traveled to Las Vegas on June 10, 2019, and returned on June 14th, 2019. We decided to use an off-site airport parking company which booked us at the Best Western Plus Hotel at 1556 Phoenix Blvd, College Park, GA. We left my wife's Lexus ES 350 there. On coming back, I noticed the rear quarter panel and bumper on the passenger side had a dent and a scratch. Immediately, I apprised the situation to the hotel staff and the manager, Jackie Leonard. The staff called the police, and an officer took a report. I asked to see the video recording, and Jackie Leonard told the officer she would have it available for him. I do not know whether he did see it or not. On June 21st, I called Jackie Leonard, she said she could not discern the person who hit our car because it had rained for several days when we were gone. After that, I asked her for a statement of what she told me. To that effect, I sent her an email immediately--seeking a statement. I did not hear back from her, so I emailed again on July 21st and again did not hear from her. On September 10th, I sent her another email--threatening to report her behavior to TripAdvisor, social media outlets, and BBB. My good luck, this time she replied, saying the tape was erased and she would send me a statement that evening or the next day. That statement failed to arrive, so I wrote again on September 23rd, asking her not to bother but pay me the repair cost which is over 1000 dollars at Classic Collison. Again, no surprise, I never heard back from her. She is hiding behind the sign in front of the hotel that reads: "Not responsible for damages to parked cars." This is how Jackie Leonard behaves. In other words, her customer service sucks! Please do not stay at this hotel because your car could be damaged or broken into, neither YOU SHOULD USE ITS PARKING LOT TO PARK YOUR CAR IF FLYING OUT OF THE ATLANTA JACKSON-HARTSFIELD AIRPORT!!!
"Great the staff are very attentive to the guest needs and respond very quickly when there are concerned"
The staff here at this location a very attentive to the needs of the guests. If a problem arises they are quick to handle any situations day or night. The breakfast was delicious the coffee was hot the eggs we're great cooked to perfection.
"Very impressed"
Stay was great, upon arrival I was greeted by the GM with a smile and warm personality!!! Made me feel very welcome!!! Will definitely come back if im in the area!!! Was close enough to everything!! Well rested as well!!!
"Great stay, particularly with the staff"
Nice hotel to stay in. I would not just stay at this property when next we visit, but would recommend it to anyone you wishes to stay close to the airport. My spouse enjoyed every bit of it. And I am sure that our children will find it suitable when we come on another vacation.
"Atlanta Loyover Night"
Arrived Best Western at midnight on their shuttle from airport. Receptionist greeting me was very friendly, courteous and professional and check-in was very fast. Breakfast in morning was very good with something for everyone. Shuttle driver back to airport was extremely courteous, good driver, and gave exact instructions re where to go when we arrived at the terminal - very helpful, as this is a huge airport.
"Stay at best western plus"
The place was very clean the staff very helpful. Would recommend going if ever in the state of Georgia. The only thing I would like to see changed would be the whirlpool being operational. Was looking forward to relaxing in it but it was out of order
"Good Choice "
My stay at this BW Plus turned out to be a great choice. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was the best I've had at any BW. It had several choices and was tasty, unlike some hotels. Being close to the airport I was able to get my flight on time using the shuttle. Thanks. I will be back.
"Micheal"
Hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Especially the staff lady that prepares the breakfast'her name is Claire. She is very pleasant. The lady that cleans my room was Olivea. She made sure I had everyone I needed. I would record this hotel. You get a lot for the money and great location. Mike2269
"Great place to stay"
We stayed here for one night during a long layover. The front desk staff were beyond kind to us. Breakfast was absolutely one of the best hotel continental types. The staff were willing to take our bags and lock them up for the day before we could check in too. The room was nice and spacious and quiet. The carpets needed some work but the bed was clean and very comfortable. We took the shuttle to and from the airport. We booked the hotel with this as a key factor. This was not a punctual shuttle which was the only frustration we had during our stay.
"Clean, friendly, and convenient"
Great place to stay when you have an early flight (or arrive too late to get home). Clean, comfortable, and most of all--quiet. Check in and out was simple and the staff were very friendly. We paid for extended parking during our trip and had no problems.
"Dont stay here"
They will steal your things out of your room and then try and play like they didnt. We was not even in our room for more than 6 hrs before our things were taken. Our liquor and food was taken out of the hotel. Mind you we were staying for 4 days.
"SoSo"
It was an inexpensive overnight stay. They were in the midst of construction, so the lobby area was messy. Also, I needed to be picked up from the airport via shuttle and could not get the front desk to answer the phone.
"Great place to stay when you're catching an early morning flight."
I was skeptical about this hotel after reading some of the bad reviews. Well, folks, my experience couldn't have been better. The stay was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Some reviews said the place had an odd odor and was dirty. That was not what I encountered. The hotel was clean and odor free. Everything in the room was clean. Beds were very comfortable and I personally can't stand a regular mattress. The hotel is surrounded by a vast number of restaurants and their shuttle bus will even drive you there and pick you up. I would stay here again.
"Smells Bad"
Room 210 smells as if it has not been cleaned since the day it was built. I was afraid to touch anything. Had to purchase Ajax to clean the tub before taking a shower and air freshener in order to breath. I spoke with the front desk staff several times before receiving attitude and giving the opportunity to change rooms after 2 1/2 days in the smelly room.

"Primerica Convention"
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Front desk attendant Stephanie was awesome and accommodating. The free breakfast was good also and very convenient. Hotel is about 15 minutes away from downtown Atlanta but not to bad if traffic is moving smoothly.
"Smelly carpets and stained furniture"
The room and hallways smelled of dirty carpet. The maids tried covering it up with lots of room deodorizer but it needs to be replaced. The couch in the room was stained and we had to request a sheet to cover it to sit on. Upon arrival, we were told that our maid had left for the day. The bed was made but there were dirty cups on the floor and dirty socks in the bedroom.
"Inexperience staff"
I was given keys to a room with someone else in. When I went back down stairs front desk called the room a told the poor people they should not be in that room. When given another room when we get into the elevator there were two ladies getting out complaining of the same problem. When we get to our new room we can see in the room before opening the door. When we get in there was a beeping sound coming from the smoke detector. We go back down stairs.we had to wait because they were on the phone with another guest that just got to there room and had NO towels in the bathroom.when I told him about it he said (I thought I fixed it) and went back upstairs to fix it. When we went back upstairs only to find the smoke detector pulled out of the wall.at 4 O'clock in the morning the phone wake up call rang. Witch I did no ask for. The next morning we got in the shuttle to go to the international airport witch we have don in the past years only for the driver to tell us he only goes to domestic. He never said a word to us or helped us. While we were taking our luggage out he went to the side door and started to throw all the trash out onto the SIDEWALK in a from the previous trips.

"Economical Atlanta Hotel"
Big rooms. Economical. Super friendly, courteous staff. Close to airport. Close to expressway. Good breakfast: oatmeal, grits, eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, coffee, juice... Office printer available. I would stay here again!
"Would have stayed elsewhere if not stranded."
This place is pretty awful. We were vouchered to stay here by Delta (a whole other story) after they failed to arrive on time for our next flight. The hotel itself was dingy and poorly cleaned. The candy machine was infested by tiny red ants which I would include in a photo but they were too small to show up. We were given a king with a convertable couch with no linens. Had to go downstairs to get them and was told by the night clerk that they had no pillows. Really? A hotel without pillows. Ok. Right. The carpet smelled and the sheets were grey. When we checked out, the day guy asked why we didn't just get a room with two kings? We told him that we were told that the room we were given was the only one available, he told us that they had several open. So with that I asked if they had any pillows. Of course they did, big surprise. The one good note was that the breakfast was generous and pretty good but that would be it. Avoid.

"Not a good place to stay"
Rooms have dirty towels left from the previous guest. The room is old outdated. Stains was on the furniture in the room from previous visit. I only stayed here due to a conferences in Atlanta that weekend.

"Bestwestern the best"
I must say I work at a Best Western Property and this is one of the most relaxing place ever thanks Best Western for making my stay beautiful the staff was respectful I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room.
"Enjoyable Short Stay"
I came in for an overnight stay and was surprised to find everything up to speed. I don't usually stay in hotels with fewer than 3 1/2 stars because they are unpredictable. This was an exception. My room was nice and the staff was polite and answered my questions. I will patronize then again

"Not what I expected"
After a 9 hour drive I was looking forward to the hot tub that was listed as an amenity.... I called the morning we left to make sure it was in working order and was told it was. I have bad knees and car rides are hard on me. So when I arrived of course I found an Out of Order sign on it. I place a complaint never to be addressed by management so I called BW, still no response from management and it's the 4th day after. I asked at check out and she said the Gen Mgr and owner were aware of my complaint, filed with the customer service line. Parking is very limited and of course when I came back there was no parking available. Then as seen in the picture they just pile garbage up outside in the back of parking lot.imvery disappointed, I have worked for best western and this is not normal. I will not recommend anything but the breakfast at this Hotel. The attendant was very pleasant and the food was good.
"Our stay at Best Westren"
The stay was excellent, our room was facing the Atlanta Airport runway, my husband love air planes. All was well. We could lay in bed and watch the planes take off and land, my husband was in heaven on earth.
"Needs an update"
We stayed two nights. Room was clean but worn. Too noisy. People were loud and woke us up in the middle of the night. Shuttle was good but I think the driver slept in as we had to go with a driver from another hotel once

"Ok"
Jacuzzi was dirty, room was very cold on one part so the heat was messing up. The toilet kept running so the room had a little flood. Then it started to stink a little and the room was non smoking I was so mad
"Lack of cleanliness"
We were placed at this hotel as a Stay to Play hotel for a large volleyball tournament. The hotel was not clean and illegal activities were occurring and the hotel staff didn't do anything to stop. Out-dated and not comfortable

"Airport Hotel"
The hotel is clean, the staff is very nice and the facilities are in great condition. It's a short walk to the bus stop, and they have a shuttle that takes you to the airport where you can catch the train (MARTA). It's a good bang for the buck. I'd definitely considered staying there again if I'm in the Atlanta area.

"Not up to best western standards"
Stayed there for one night due to an early departure and was quite disappointed. The rooms are dated, uncomfortable beds and breakfast was already finished at 8.45am even if it is until 9am. The lady at breakfast on 21st was unfriendly and unwelcoming. There are better places to stay if in Atlanta airport area, be aware.

"BEWARE IF USING SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AIRPORT"
The stay was great and close to airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Took the morning shuttle (5AM) but didn't leave until 5:05. Driver had to be woken up, twice. No further problem until we returned one week later after long trip. Got to shuttle pick-up at the airport and waited thirty minutes and no shuttle. Another BW shuttle was nearby and asked the driver if the shuttle for BW Airport South was running. He checked and later said no. He offered to take us or take the Howard Johnson shuttle, which I hadn't seen in the thirty minutes I was there. I took him up on his offer. After returning to the motel to retrieve my car (which I paid $48 to park there for the week), I mentioned the problem to the front desk. She apologized and said she had not been made aware of the shuttle problem. The had a van to TAKE people TO the airport, but not pick anyone up. Had I called for the shuttle I would have been told to take the HJ shuttle (HJ is across the street).
angela d, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
We apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Our hotel shuttle was totaled in an accident and there are lists of things we have to get done to our new shuttle prior to to being able to pick up guest at the the airport. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
"Last minute stay"
Wonderful last minute stay. Staff was accommodating and professional. Room was clean and everything worked. Hotel is less than 10 minutes from Airport so the location couldn't have been better. I will definitely stay here again.

"Nice Best Western Property"
Nice clean BW property. Great free breakfast. Not many restaurants nearby unfortunately. Air Port shuttle is great except not to international terminal ...altho hopefully they will give some thought to our suggested fix to that situation for future guests.

"Best Western"
Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great service was given. Breakfast was free and very good. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom was up to date and very clean. Hotel was close to airport and downtown Atlanta.

"Basic rooms, No Service typical USA hotel!!"
Hotel is in nice location, close to airport. If you are arriving at international terminal, you will have to take a bus to reach the domestic terminal, where you have the hotel shuttle pick-up point. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is horrible... Very basic stuff. Spread is pathetic. There is no restaurants near by which is a minus. Service level of Hotel staff needs a big improvement...Though it has 3.5 star, the service is similar to budget hotel...

"Ok for a night! "
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a night. Room was spacious & clean, pillows and mattress were comfy. Bathroom was very narrow- the door ran into the toilet seat, and there was barely enough room to stand and get ready. Breakfast selection was good but the staff was very rude- we were finishing up our breakfast at 9:10am and lady turned off the lights because breakfast ends at 9am. Before she wrapped up everything she didn't even let us know if we wanted to grab anything. I am sure she does this to guests everyday, she needs to change this behavior or replaced. We have stayed at other BW and never had an unpleasant experience like this.

"The Place Is A Dump"
We stayed here for one night compliments of Delta Airlines because we missed our connecting flight. There were 2 of us traveling and we required 2 beds. Upon arriving at the hotel, the front desk agent informed us that Delta Airlines only reserved rooms with 1 King bed. This turned out not to be true once I placed a call to Delta Airlines. The room we were assigned had significant wear and tear and we questioned whether the linens were actually clean, as I noticed dried stains on one of the pillows and on one of the towels. When I called the front desk to request new linens and towels, I was advised that I would need to return to the front desk for new ones. This hotel located in College Park, GA also attracts college-aged party goers. We had to call the front desk 3 times throughout the night because there was a group of guests partying loud in the room next to ours. The staff did nothing to remedy the situation.

"Average"
Not a bad place to stay for a night between flights. Not bad, but not great. They have free van service to and from the airport. The breakfast starts early and was good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I would stay again.
"Theft break into my car"
Actually, I had a good night in this hotel before the flight the next day and I booked to park there for 15 days since it has a good rate. However, the stuff in my car was stolen by a theft by destroying the lock of my car. I put all of the things in the trunk so I was confused about why it was my car that came to this bad situation. The hotel said they only have 7 days security camera. I found some of the comments mentioned there are guards patrolling during night but this still happened on my car. I think the hotel is somehow resposible for the security of my car but I got no compensation from the hotel.
Angela D, Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
We apologize for the unfortunate incident with the break in of your car. Even though we have measures in place to deter theft unfortunately we cannot catch them all. Again with truly apologize for this unfortunate incident.
"Great Stay/Great Location"
Was going to concert at the new Mercedes Benz Stadium. Staff was friendly and hotel was very very clean. Breakfast was great. No problems here. Will definitely stay again when we go back for next concert. Everyone spoke to you as you walked through the hotel which just showed that
"Dirty sheets/carpet & police in parking lot"
We had asked for downstairs due to our disabilities. Check in was horrible, once we reported illegal activity on sidewalk in front of hotel. Were given a very very filthy room on 1st level, sheets were not clean, carpet was so dirty, feet stuck when walking. We were very tired had an early check out to catch a flight or we would have never stayed here. The staff were not caring, they have a security guard on duty & local police were in parking lot patrolling - all on video! Would never stay here again.
"Near the airport/Nära flygplatsen"
Good location not far from the airport and close to downtown. Clean, quiet, everything was prepared when we arrived which was very nice as we had landed after a long flight. Effective and friendly staff. We were noted as Best Western members.
"great!"
perfect! have stayed here for past 15 yrs! would recommend to anyone to stay for any reason!. will be coming back this winter and again in the spring. family loves to watch the planes but can not hear!
"Just fine for us"
After a long experience at ATL airport standing in line for Delta to rebook flights due to weather, BW was perfect for us to get the rest we needed to continue our travel. Clean, comfortable, and super friendly & helpful staff! Thank you Lorenzo for your hospitality and help!
"Worst hotel ever"
Staff rude and unprofessional, especially the lady in charge tonight (I don't recall her name). I requested to talk with the manager and she denied telling him/her a story on the phone. I will definitely report the manager and the staff.
"BUGS BUGS BUGS"
BEWARE OF BUGS... Stayed at this hotel Saturday night 7/7 room 212 Room had stains in odd places like the curtain tops etc. But the issue I had was when I went to bed I was bit by something that drew blood needless to say I could not sleep there ... I let the manager know She took my name and number and verified the bite on my ankle area . She assured me the manager would call me later that day. No call yesterday so I called today to follow up Spoke with gm Alonso or Alfonso I was unsure which he said but he took my info and said that he would look into it and he had stated on my 1st call with him that he was wondering why room 212 was taken out of service when he got in yesterday and that he would look into it and call me back A few hours later he called me back and confirmed they needed to call an exterminator and that the exterminator confirmed he needed to get rid of some uninvited guests but he was unsure of which had bitten me also report was not in front of him. He offered me 1 nights stay at his hotel. I was angry at this point because I said I was calling to find out if I need to see a Dr. bc of the bite he said no I did not Then I asked why didn't you call me yesterday as I was told you would and he said that he only found out today so I said but you said you were wondering yesterday when you came in why 212 was out of service and your story does not add up bc you also did not call me today - I called you. Im hoping someone will reach out to me to resolve else I'll keep posting this on any and all hotel sites until someone with authority can represent the hotel
"Enjoyable Stay with Professional Staff!"
The front desk agent (Andre, I think was the name) was so helpful and friendly even after dealing with an inevitable front desk reservation error. He maintained professionalism while having half a dozen guests waiting. He made a point to speak to my teenage grandson as we checked in too. After having a couple of disappointing stays earlier in this trip, we were delighted to open the door to our room and be able to say "Ahhhhhhh"! The room was fresh, sparkling clean and well furnished. It was truly comfortable and relaxing. After having "zombie like" hostesses at breakfast in other locations, what a refreshing surprise to have a sweet lady with a caring manner taking care of everyone at breakfast. She personally told each diner that she would be putting certain items up shortly in case they wanted to get a refill. She seemed so happy to help. NOTE: there are limited dining options near this property. The Pappa Johns Pizza made placing a simple order a big production. However, the Happy Buddha Chinese restaurant a few doors down had amazing food and generous portions. The Crab Rangoon was fantastic and reasonably priced. Other than these, there was a McDonald's. Plan meals accordingly. Avoid the nearby laundromat. It was nasty!
"Fine - few frills; good service"
I was booked in here by Delta airlines after a storm caused a missed connection. The shuttle delivered a load of passengers in reasonable time -- and we all got checked-in by efficient and friendly enough front desk staff. The room was very large, but fairly basic. Everything worked fine, and it seemed clean too. I didn't see much of the rest of the hotel -- it was late-in-early-out -- but it seemed fine. There was breakfast available from 6am, but I was leaving too early for that! I doubt I'd have chosen Best Western by my own selection - but it was absolutely fine.
"Parts stolen off of car"
I paid to leave my car at this hotel or motel for several weeks while traveling. When I returned and picked up my car, it sounded like it was about to explore. I got it to a garage and the catalytic converter had been stolen from the vehicle. I got down on the pavement to look when the owner of the garage told me and it had been sawed off. I got it repaired to the tune of several hundred dollars. I contacted the Best Western and was told that they are not responsible and have a sign to prove it. There was no offer to check video cameras, which they most probably have. I called the national headquarters and told what had happened and was told I would be contacted within 3 to 5 business days. That was 13 days ago. I called again, just now, and was told that a response was made 2 days after my first call. They did NOT respond to me, by phone or email. I asked what the response was and was told that they are not responsible. I have stayed at many Best Westerns over the years but will think long and hard before I stay at another one. My insurance paid for most of the repair but I thought that the hotel and the chain office would want to know what had happened at one of their locations, especially since the staff has access to which cars will be parked there for some time. I was wrong. Do not stay or park at this hotel if you value your cars safety.
Angela D, Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Hello Charles, I wanted to sincerely apologize for your experience with us, Yes, there is a sign out in the parking lot that states that " we are not responsible for vehicles" but the Managers did consider your review and there is security in place on property to help maintain safety, We hope you reconsider staying with us. Thank you.
"Good stay."
Good location, good shuttle services, friendly staffs, clean room, good breakfast. I very satisfied with the hotel, but only 1 thing need to be fixed, that is the bed sheets are too old, they need to be replaced.
"Will never stay at a Best Western again"
Late on a Sunday evening after bad weather wreaked havoc with plane schedules on the east coast my airline incorrectly told me I would not be able to get from Atlanta to my destination until the next morning. Desperate not to sleep in the airport I quickly made a reservation. Less than an hour later found the airline was wrong and quickly called the hotel. The person at the desk was very nice and said that under these circumstances they usually could cancel the reservation and refund my money. The manager the next day evidently saw it differently and denied my request with no explanation. A hotel that desperate for $100 probably isn't worth staying at. Don't know what I was thinking. Honestly, have never had a good stay at a Best Western. Won't make the mistake of trying one again, even in desperate circumstances.
Angela D, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear Ms Mirkis, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had issues with your connecting flight. This is the first I am hearing of your situation. I see that you booked your reservation through Priceline, which is paid through them. The cancellation has to go through the OTA you booked through as you paid Priceline, not the hotel. Unfortunately, when one books through an online travel agent such as Priceline, you agree to their terms, policies and procedures and pay the agency. Should you need further explaination, feel free to reach out to the property or Priceline for assistance.
"Convenient place"
This is a good place to stay overnight for a next day flight. There is a McDonald's near by and a grill across the street. Beds ok. Parking a little cramped. Rooms have plenty of space. Walls and floors a little bit outdated. Overall would stay here again.
"Outstanding friendly service from staff."
I was placed in this hotel by Delta Airlines when a transatlantic flight was overbooked. The room was comfortable. Buffet breakfast plentiful. Coffee delicious. Free shuttle timely. But, the staff makes this hotel. They were friendly and helpful and went well beyond standard expectations to make my stay with them memorable. Because it was a last minute arrangement, I had limited toiletries with me. I risked asking for what was available to from the hotel to purchase. They provided everything I asked for with a great sense of humor. This made the stay one I will never forget. THANK YOU!
"Dirty Bed - Not worth the money"
When we pulled the bedsheets back there was a Long black hair on mattress bed sheet, The bedsheets were NOT changed. I worked and have stayed in many Hotels and these were not changed. The TV was NOT High Def. The room is very dated just like the hotel. The lady at the front desk was nice and that was the only plus from the experience.
Angela D, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear Michael We appreciate your feedback and the time you took to post. We are concerned to just be hearing of your discomfort, as this is something we take very seriously and would have been addressed immediately and personally. The rooms were recently updated last year. Thank you for choosing Best Western Plus
"Courtesy of Delta bc of flight issues"
Flight into ATL was 2.5 hours later and we missed our connection. It was 9 pm and we had no choice but to shelter in ATL for the night. Delta comped the room (be sure to get your overnight kits at a Delta station before leaving ATL). Exit the terminal after claiming luggage and walk down a winding sidewalk to a variety of bays. Stand in the bay that say BW-So. Note, there are at least 2 BW's, so go to the correct spot. While waiting, the other hotels had at least 3 cycles of vans picking up customers. We were grateful when ours finally arrived. We got to the BW at 11 pm. Mind you, there are NO food establishments adjacent to the hotel nor does it have any food service. The vending machines were broken (and we hope our credit card isn't compromised from trying everything possible to get a coke and bag of chips.) We ordered from Prime Pizza (can't find the company on TripAdvisor to review) and the food took exactly 1 hour to arrive. It was accurate and we were hungry. The alarm clock did not have a volume button and was stuck on blast level. The tv did not work. The hot water was hot and the bed was flat. For those 2 things, we are thankful. We got to bed close to 12:30 and a fight broke out somewhere on our floor. A man and a woman. They would carry on and stop all night long. Around 3 am, young children were playing and running in the hallway. We got up at 5 to go back to ATL. The breakfast buffet at BW was adequate but not stellar. It opened at 6. We caught the shuttle at 6:30. Our driver was the same fellow from the night before.
Angela D, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear Kim, We appreciate the time you took providing feedback regarding your stay. We are empathetic to the flight and connection issues. We aim to provide a quality product and excellent customer service. It is unfortunate none of these other issues within our control were addressed, as we are always obliged to take care of our guests concerns immediately, but we cannot do so if they are not brought to our attention during one's stay. Here at Best Western South, we are always prepared to accommodate our distressed Delta guests with snacks, drinks, overnight kits, etc upon request. Our shuttle runs every 30 minutes from the hotel beginning at 5 A.M. in the morning. There is a restaurant across the street called Bowties which stays open until 2 AM as well as numerous menus at the front desk, of which 1 of them is Prime and they advertise order take 1 hour for delivery as they are cooked to order. The television issue you encountered was due to not pointing the remote at the eye of the television, which was addressed during the stay. I do not see shift notes regarding any disturbances or fights for the night of your stay. This is something that is not taken lightly and dealt with by security or local law enforcement immediately. Again, we apologize for any discomfort you may have endured.
"Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, College Park, GEORGIA"
My stay at Best Western Plus Airport South near Atlanta International Airport was the WORST experience in my life. The lobby was a mess with on-going construction, and there were no warning signs for the slippery floor that was covered in plastic. We were assigned to a room that is next door to a room full of guests for a bachelorette party, and the room right below our neighboring room is also having the same party. The noise level was literally THROUGH THE ROOF--IT IS LIKE A WIND BLOWER IS BILLOWING RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR HEAD!!! After waiting far nearly 20 minutes after I complained about it, which is past midnight and I had to personally go downstairs to get the hotel staff, we were finally transferred to another room, which is only a bit better. I would NEVER stay there EVER AGAIN!!!!

"Basic Airport Hotel"
This was the last of 5 different hotels I slept in over 6 days. Unfortunately it was my least favorite. The bed was comfortable and the room clean, however, I couldn't sleep due to worrying about my rental car in the parking lot and having my room situated right over the entrance. I can't say I felt safe in this neighborhood. Did the shuttle driver and other guests have to be so loud exiting the vehicle? The walls were also thin. I could hear the TV blaring next door. The positives; the woman who checked me in was very friendly, the room is large, and the shuttle seemed to be running quite regularly. The car rental return is about 5 minutes from the hotel, however, it isn't a direct shot, so make sure you have the correct address.

You rose to the morning with your rental car in the same condition and spot you left it in, no harm came about, and security officers on staff regularly. We appreciate your business and choosing to stay at the Best Western Plus
"Stopover after late flight"
Perfectly good average hotel near the car rental centre of Atlanta airport. Room good size, clean and average condition. Breakfast basic, but satisfactory. The only criticism of breakfast is that everything was plastics - plates, cup, cutlery.
BinaPatel, SWilliams at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear AALNewark, We appreciate your feedback and the time you took to do so. I am pleased to hear that your stay was pleasurable and your needs were accommodated to your standards. As a 3 star hotel, we provide a free continental hot breakfast, which is basic and does include plastic-ware. This is to be expected in 3 star and below. We try our best to provide our guests with the best eco-friendly and durable plastic-ware available on the market to make up for the lack of china and silverware. We appreciate you choosing Best Western Plus Airport South.
"Great location, quiet rooms, needs more parking!"
The rooms here are comfortable, the free breakfast was one of the best I had ever had at a hotel of this type, and the rooms are quiet. That being said, the parking situation is terrible here. There are not enough parking spots #1, and #2, the parking along the side of the hotel is so cramped, if one large truck parks there it creates a hazard to get out of the spot. Fortunately, there was a building next door that had additional parking, but I am not sure if it is OK to park there. Since some of the building appeared vacant and it was a weekend (not to mention there were Uhauls and Ryders parked there), we used it as overflow and didn't;t get towed...lol. The hotel was clean, but there was a large dark curly hair still inside the tub when we got there..kind of disturbing, but nothing a little water in the tub didn't fix. For the price and location, it was well worth it.
BinaPatel, SWilliams at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear RStackon, We appreciate your feedback and the time you took to do so. I am pleased your stay was pleasurable and accommodating. I understand the frustration with parking and we are working to address this issue to hopefully alleviate further frustrations. We appreciate your business and look forward to your return visit. Thak you for choosing Best Western Plus South
"Pretty Good"
Needed a place close to the airport in order to catch an early morning flight. Nice staff and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was pretty good. The bad thing about this property was the parking. When they get full, its pretty hard to get a spot on the property. You have to park next door at a office park.
"Expensive and low quality"
The hotel was priced higher than nicer ones in the area. We chose to pay more for this one because of the hot tub but when we got there the jets didn't work in the hot tub and the room was very dirty and grimy. The rooms were fine, bathrooms were small. We were only there for 1 night which was fine, if we were staying more than 1 night I would have gone somewhere else. The airport shuttle took almost an hour to come pick us up after we called them and the shuttle driver seemed as if he were drunk. The next morning when we went to take the shuttle back to the airport we found the shuttle driver sleeping on the steering wheel of the shuttle out front. You couldn't understand anything he said when he talked which made the ride a little uncomfortable. There was no one at the front desk to check us out so after standing and waiting for several minutes we just left the keys on the counter so we could get to the airport.

"It's an airport hotel. "
It's a no frills experience. The rooms are a good size. And the bed very comfortable. We had a view over the airport. Which I liked. The fittings and furnishings are tired although fully functional. There is a pool and gym although we didn't use it. There isn't a restaurant or bar. You can order in food from a menu in the room. Breakfast is basic. Plastic and paper. The staff are friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle only runs from the domestic side so , if like us you come into the international side go to bus stop 3 and get the free shuttle to the domestic side. Then go to the hotel shuttle stand. Our bus was there although you may need to call the hotel to request it so make sure you have the number. It took over an hour from arrivals to the hotel with the two shuttles. To get to Atlanta downtown we took the local Marta bus which stops outside the hotel it drops you at College Park station where you get the train into the centre. . It took about 20 minutes and cost $2.50 for the bus. At the station you can then get a $9.00 pass for all trains and buses for the day. The train took another 20 minutes. So about an hour to get to downtown. It's functional for an overnight for the airport.
"Great place "
This was a great hotel to stay at there is a pool they serve breakfast and it is very close to the airport and there are several restaurants in walking distance. The only problem is the shuttles from the airport take forever to come
"Cancellation Policy"
I reserved one night fearing I would be stuck at the airport. I reserved on Jan 17th at around noon. About 2 hours later I attempted to cancel and was told according to their cancellation policy, reservations must be cancelled BEFORE JAN 14th. They refused to give me a refund. ARE THEY REALLY THAT STUPID ?
Angela D, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
We apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced in reference to our cancellation policy. I would suggest that you contact a manager directly at the hotel to see if we can assist you further after we have more information.
"Basic"
Room was clean, very basic hotel. The reason for the 2 star rating was the breakfast. Absolutely disgusting, the gravy foe biscuits was like water, bacon was terrible and everything else was terrible. They take no pride in any food at all. Microwave food from the market is 100 times better.

"Rude and Liars"
My flight at ATL was late, so I missed my connection. Delta gave me a voucher to use for a free night. I called at 3.33am to get directions on pick up stop. I called again at 3:38am, 4:10am, 4:25am and 4:38am. They never came. I am standing in 20 degree cold. I saw Crown Plaza, Motel 6, Marriott, Hyatt Place and Days Inn busses and others go thru TWICE while waiting for Best Western. Man on phone was rude. I finally got in a Hyatt Place bus and he took me to Hyatt Place so I could rest. Never will use a Best Western!!!!!

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by our shuttle. We have put measures in place to ensure that this will not happen again in the future.
"Great Stay"
Great hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Provide breakfast and internet in rooms. Staff were cordial and professional. Good amenities and close to the airport. The power training equipment in the fitness center was broken while we were there. Can do with that being up and functional.

"Not good. Had to park really far away and walk in dark parking area that belonged to another building."

""Money Well Spent""
The rooms are big and comfortable. They were jetted tub in my very spacious room, which is a plus; this was of course was my business trip(noted that all rooms are the same). The bed was warm, they are fixed very neatly. Front Desk Staff was excellent, while friendly and professional. The General Manager: King came by and greeted all guest during breakfast, which was very nice touch. I would stay here again, if I find myself returning to Atlanta; "Highly Recommended".

"Kesha staff employee"
It was a last minute stay & I was stuck in Atlanta during their horrible weather. The staff member Kesha was very helpful. All other hotels were full & I could not find anywhere else to go for the location close to the airport.

"Truly Average"
Missed a connection due to a late flight and stayed here one night at Delta's expense. Nothing noteworthy to report about this place, except the shuttle service is routinely late and the drivers aren't interested in service--just blasting their preferred music across the shuttle to prevent any reasonable attempt at conversation. Be sure to schedule your shuttle ride at least an hour in advance of what you'd normally plan. We almost missed our alternate flight because the shuttle driver showed up 45 minutes late. Our room was fairly sizeable and clean, with good climate control, water pressure, etc. Hall noise was a real problem though. Breakfast was poor, but had all the pieces to be really good--hot fare as well as typical continental items. Coffee and juice were extremely watered-down and when we pressed the breakfast lady, she exchanged the pre-made beverage boxes in the machines. Coffee is not brewed here, it comes in a box and is simply heated up in the dispenser. Fruit was very limited, but fresh. Overall, a very average experience, and one I would not repeat willingly, especially if it were on my dime.

Dear Steve, While we understand your stay with us was brief due to missing your connection flight, which may have resulted in your distress for the late shuttle services you have mentioned. I will be addressing the issues of the blasting of music on the shuttle which I had no knowledge of prior to this review. We try our best to address each issue as they arise in order to provide outstanding customer service to our guest. On behalf of my staff I extend my apologies and invite you back to experience our service improvements. Yours Sincerely, King Veira
"It is near the airport with a shuttle."
Not much to write home about. It was a decent place to stay close to the airport for an early flight. The shuttle was good, but limited in space (a few people were left on the curb trying to catch the first flight out. Left before breakfast, so I don't know anything about that; The front desk seemed efficient, but I had to make a few calls after the fact to get it all straightened out. In the end, it was okay.

"Uncomfortable bed with a side of mortal peril"
Stayed at this hotel for a medical school examination offered nearby. Hotel featured people roaming the halls yelling at each other, a bed with the same texture as the surface of Mars, 4 pillows that were half filled standard pillow cases. I'm not sure if they were real pillows or just cases filled with poly-fil. 4 pomeranian sized pillows for a king sized bed. Staff member had someone come to the hotel looking for her and begin screaming at her demanding she come outside so she didn't lose her job while arguing with him. Bonus features: bulletproof glass window to talk through at night, hair of a stranger in the towels, and free transit to the airport so you can get the hell out of there.
"Spent 2 nights at this hotel for Step 2 CS"
I really enjoyed my stay there. I was there for my Step 2 CS. The hotel is very close to the testing center at the Two Crown Center in Atlanta. The Hotel's shuttle picked me up from the airport the day of my arrival and also drove me back to the airport 2 days later. The shuttle also dropped me off at the testing center for my Step 2 CS exam and offered to pick me up at 10 PM at the end my exam. I also appreciated the free breakfast in the morning from 6 to 9 AM. My room was clean and I slept comfortably the two nights that I was there. I also met three other medical students who were at the hotel for their step 2 CS and they all enjoyed their stay.

"Okay place to stay at near airport"
I was coming in from a trip late at night so didn't want to drive home. My husband meet me at the hotel so he didn't have to worry about getting to airport. Beds were soft n pillows were lousy. Pillows were small n just fit your head on them to be comfortable. Had problem at breaksfast so can't say how good it would be

"Very nice space"
We booked at the last minute. The hotel was in great shape and the room was very large and comfortable, with a living space in addition to the bedroom. Right next to the airport but we didn't hear planes.
"Adequate for an overnight stay before a flight "
The room was spacious and clean, though outdated. The bathroom was clean but needed some maintenance. The hotel is convenient for getting to and from the airport and offers a free shuttle every 30 minutes. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was good. It would be nice if light snacks were available for purchase at the hotel since it does not have food options outside breakfast.
"Needs updated rooms."
Happy with the staff and hotel experience. However, the room was outdated and needed remodeling. I was disappointed in the quality of the room. The staff, however, was wonderful and made an excellent suggestion on where to eat.
"Alway Pleasant"
I am a long time user of Best Western. I spent 11 months in a Best Western in Attalla, Alabama for my company. I use Best Western in my personal travels and I have yet to be disappointed. Hotel staff is always helpful and courteous. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.
"Top Notch customer service"
We experienced customer service that exceeded our expectations at our stay. Also, the rooms are recently renovated and very nice. The breakfast area also looked recently done and wonderful, unfortunately our plane took off before breakfast opened so we didn't get to try it out. Shuttle service was great as well.
"Okay Stay"
I took the shuttle bus to the hotel from ATL - worked just fine. Check in was easy but not real friendly staff. My room was most spacious (suite), and felt warm and inviting. You could hear the planes nearby but it wasn't bad at all. The bed was very comfortable. Work space was fine and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The whole hotel was clean and looked like it was taken care of outside as well. The shower was nice and hot and powerful. Breakfast was free and very, very good. No where to eat in walking distance but they have flyers for in room delivery options. I would stay again no problems.

"SHOWER DIDN'T WORK, EXCELLENT STAFF WHO WORK THERE THOUGH"
Brenda was amazing and the entire staff who works at this hotel that's very close to the airport!!! (: Staff was friendly, helpful, fast and efficient, calm, and patient with their guests. Very professional staff with excellent customer service skills. The only issue I had, the shower wasn't working the morning I had to leave for the airport. Also, the lightbulbs in the room didn't create a soothing atmosphere to relax: 2 bright florescent bulbs and 2 soft glow bulbs.

"loud a/c unit"
Went to room and turned a/c down, a/c does not get cold, and it makes extremely loud rattling noises. called downstairs to ask mike about it, he told me he will send someone up, but no one came, room got really hot at night, the loud noise affected my sleep, parking lot is cramped and hotel is close to ghetto. you really do not feel your vehicle is safe.

"Never Again"
The fire alarm went off twice, once in the night and in the early morning again. The receptionist blamed it in us, he said we pushed the sofa against the phone plug which caused the alarm. We are tolerant people but I would have expected immediate help and an excuse. Miserable and unfriendly customer service!

"It Does Its Job"
I stood at here after having a meeting in the city for work and then an early flight out the next day. The hotel is an airport hotel and comes with the good and the bad that goes with that. It is very easy to get to the airport, just one road really and a five minute drive from the hotel. There are a few fast food places around and the room comes with a very good free breakfast. The room I had was clean and quiet. It was a pretty large room, AKA a suite and thus I was pleasantly surprised with that. Don't expect more out of the staff than the minimum to do their job. Upon check in I was pretty much given my room key with all of 2 or 3 words said to me. The same quiet met me at check out. I unfortunately had to bring my car to the hotel and this is a major downside with this establishment. The parking area is very small with there being very little room to back out of your space or even to pull into it. I imagine, if you do bring your car, that it will get a bit dinged and dented up. There are other hotels in the area that I would probably stay at before coming back here.
"Really nice!!"
It was better than i hope so. The personnel were very attentive, breakfeast was good. Very nice stay. The only thing i dint like it that it was far from shoppings or places to go. But overall a good hotel, grwat view of the airport.
"Case of the good room and bad bathroom."
The room sleeping area was found to be in good condition however the bathroom that requires a high rate of attention fail short . And because of the potential to pass on serious germs and Illness we just can not over look problems that may cause problems to any traveling customer seeking lodging.
"Uber or Lyft"
After waiting for 35 minutes the shuttle driver still had not arrived to work. A group of guests were standing out front waiting. My husband ended up driving as many as possible to the airport to avoid missing our flights. I would not recommend relying on the airport shuttle service. Lyft was $12, a lot cheaper then a missed flight.
"Good stay after a long day of flying"
We stayed here since we got to Atlanta at 1am and did not want to drive at those hours after flying all day. The room was confortable as was the bed. They offer a full breakfast bar which is included with your stay. The only downside is that their parking lot is small, but you can park on the building next door which they claim to own. I would recommend this hotel for budget travelers as well as people with no restrictions (it is certainly better than some of the hotels in the area, including the Marriott).
"So So"
This was an average BW. I have stayed in better ones on this trip. The hotel looked weary and worn. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It was just a place to stay before flying out the next day.
"Poor communication"
My daughter left her jewelery box in our room and did not notice until we arrived at our next destination. Having emailed the manager of the hotel twice I have yet to have a response. Still unable to make an insurance claim until I have had confirmation that it has been looked for.
"Okay Rooms, but OverPriced"
The hotel needs security. Five vehicles were broken into during my stay. The hotel states that they aren't responsible for stolen items left in the vehicles. The cameras don't show the entire parking lot. The parking lot is small, with tight parking. The rear side of the hotel where the vehicles were broken into is dimly lighted.

"No"
Shuttle took 90 minutes to pick me up from airport. Nothing in walking distance. No cable or internet on last day. Loud staff outside my room. Door only closed if I turned the handle from inside. Not very clean.
BinaPatel, Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Dear valued guest please accept my apology for not exceeding your expectations. It was very unfortunate that when you came to stay at our property was the same time that hurricane Irma decided to visit Atlanta. During the chaos at the airport the north terminal was shut down and all traffic was routed to one area which created a traffic nightmare. That is the reason our shuttle was held up. Thank you for bringing to our attention about your room and our staff, those issues was immediately addressed.
"Avoiding Irma!"
Location is very close to the airport with restaurants near by. We would have liked to stay longer but the hotel could not accommodate us. We ended up at the Hampton Inn in Cumming, GA. Would have been a disaster if we didn't have a car rental.
"A reasonable hotel near Atlanta Airport"
Best Western Plus Hotel and Suites Atlanta Airport South is a 10 minute free shuttle bus ride from Atlanta Airport. If arriving at the International Terminal you need to take a 10 minute Airport shuttle bus to the Domestic Terminal where all the hotel shuttle buses are. There are so many hotel shuttle buses that it is a bit confusing and even more so because there are several different Best Western Hotels near the airport so check carefully before getting on to the shuttle. I was not too happy waiting for almost one hour for the right shuttle bus. The hotel is efficient and comfortable and has all usual facilities including a microwave in the room. The female receptionist of duty was extremely helpful giving me good information and helping me print my boarding pass. The return shuttle bus operates every half hour. If arriving at Atlanta Airport International Terminal be prepared for an extremely long walk to get out of the terminal, the longest I have ever done in any Airport around the world. If departing you can check in at Domestic and take the airside train to International.
"Very Thankful home away from home"
Im a regular at the atlanta airport South and it is a great hotel, nice friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. I will be a member i travel for business and had a great out come he room was nice, the bathroom was decent. We stayed in the king suite, there was a desk, couch, tv and a good king sized bed. In the morning there was a complimentary breakfast downstairs which was average

"Good night sleep, average breakfast"
We came in late at night with the shuttle from the airport. The staff at the front desk was friendly, the bus driver was just disgusting. He burped during the ride, we had to load our own luggage and he was calling and driving (he almost ran a red light). The room was nice, the bathroom was decent. We stayed in the king suite, there was a desk, couch, tv and a good king sized bed. In the morning there was a complimentary breakfast downstairs which was average. The spoons and forks where plastic, the food was fairly good. Would stay here again for the price it costs, if you can spend a bit more I would go to the Hampton our Fairfield Inn.

"Enjoyed my stay"
Hotel was nice. Customer service was great from beginning to end. Room was comfortable...furniture and carpet a little outdated but overall it was a good stay. AC in the room was great. Nice and frosty.

"Great Place to Stay"
This hotel, in addition to being a quality hotel, has an excellent location. The airport is a very few minutes away. There shuttle service is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are great. Very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great, offering many choices. We have absolutely no complaints, and will be using this facility again in the future.

"Hit and Miss"
First, I would stay there again and these are some points of interest. This place had a lot of good things, exceptionally friendly staff, the room was overall comfortable, clean fridge, good breakfast, and the room was sound proof (important being next to the airport). Problems included only one of 2 ice makers worked several days, key cards kept going bad, one slow elevator, and a toilet that stopped up with anything more than liquid.
Angela D, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Thank you for bringing the above mentioned items to our attention. We apologize for not exceeding your expectations and we will use the information to make sure future guests would not experience the same issues
"Hotel stay"
This is a great place to stay..the room is clean the staff is very courteous and all the aminities are available within your reach. Their breakfast is also great. The shuttle specially the lady driver is very helpful and so courteous. I highly recommended BW south whenever I fly to Atlanta.
Angela D, Front Office Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Thank you for your kind response. It was our pleasure to provide you with excellent customer service.
"So-so"
Very friendly staff. However, the facility is old and show its age. The pool needs painting and the rooms need upgrading. Window dressings were worn. We may return for another stay, just not sure yet.
"Visited for STEP 2CS"
Great location for my test. One block away to the Atlanta Testing Centre and right near the airport. Clean, and comfortable. A bit dated in the halls and elevator, but did the trick and included breakfast. Good price and deal for the test. Recommend.
"Hot Tub Above Our Room Leaked into Our Ceiling/Wall"
Clean, comfortable, overall just fine. Our biggest complaint- and we called the front desk immediately- was the King Sized Room above us, with a hot tub, leaked onto our ceiling and actually removed the ceiling and wall finishing in our room. Other than that- pretty straight forward.
"Great Hotel"
What a great hotel. Warm and friendly staff, rooms we're so nice and I slept great. Breakfast was good, Pool was great after long day. Shuttle took us to restaurant for dinner, lots of options and shuttle driver helped us pick a good one. What a GREAT PLACE TO STAY. Even though it's at the Airport it was super quiet. We'll be back!
"BED BUGS!!!! Stay away!!!"
Despite the really gross, ratty van that serves as their airport shuttle, I was pretty pleased with the overall updated feel of the hotel compared to my expectations of a Best Western. However; I'll skip past all the other details of what I could review... and just say that I woke up covered in bed bug bites after my stay!!!!!!!! Horrific. I had my 18 month-old with me, and I'm still terrified that I'm carrying bugs home with me and risking an infestation at my house. This is my first experience having bed bugs at a hotel, and I hope my last. We rushed out in the morning to catch a flight, so I didn't see the bites until we got in the car. I am still waiting to speak to a manager to get a refund. But please don't stay in room 208!!! Bed bugs are nearly impossible to get rid of, and I have no idea what measures they have taken, or will take, to treat the room.
, General Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. Superior customer service is our priority and it is taken very seriously. Since your last stay we have purchased a brand new van. We have also had the exterminator to come out and inspect the room that you rented and he has provided documentation that there is no evidence of bed bugs in this room. If I can be of further assistance please contact me directly at the property
"Great service and staff. Breakfast was great. Room was very clean and beds were so comfortable. We all slept very well"
The staff was wonderful and rooms were clean. Very quiet despite being by the airport. No noise at all. Beds were great. Breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit.
"Overnight"
My flight was cancelled and had to spend a full day. Room is ok, but did not have complimentary bottles of water. Hot breakfast ok and the waitress was very informative about how to spend our free time.Located close to the airport with shuttle van. I will stay there next time if necessary.
"It was OK"
One night stay from 8pm until 5am to catch our plane at 7am. the shuttle to the hotel and back was nice and convient. however there were some problems with the room. pictures show in the bathroom. they should do some remodeling. the beds were comfortable. loved hearing and seeing the airplanes from my window all evening. the gentleman at the front desk was very nice. and the driver offered to take us somewhere to eat if we wanted to i forget the fast food place but that was the only option or order in pizza. It was nice for a few hours rest but wouldnt stay longer than that.
"Home away from Home"
This hotel is clean and a great value for money, the staff are welcoming and professional. Depending on the day, the parking lot can be over crowded due to functions in the conference room but other than that, no complaints.
"Bummed at Best Western Plus"
Reggie was nice at check-in. After that, the value was lacking for the cost, higher than I usually pay at Best Western Plus. The room had no microwave or refrigerator. The bathroom lacked sealant around front of toilet with no tile at base go wall behind toilet between toilet and shower. Breakfast ran short of omelets and sausage more than once between 8:30 and 9:00, keeping me waiting and competing for one omelet. The waste basket near me was overflowing. I will never stay here again.
"Staff was so helpful!"
I had to extend our stay due to an injury and the staff was so super sweet accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this one! Plus the rooms were clean, spacious and really quiet even though we were right next to the airport.
"Not good for USMLE exam stay"
The clientele were extremely rude and boisterous throughout the night. Men were revving motorcycles and blaring music into the early hours of the morning outside the lobby. Also experienced someone aggressively banging on our doors throughout the morning and walking away. This was very frightening in the middle of the night. Staff did not make rounds or encourage these individuals to limit their noise for guests. I got no sleep. If you are looking at this hotel because it was recommended as close to the USMLE site, do not sacrifice your sleep before the exam for the cheaper price.
"Good room, horrendous breakfast"
Arrived at 11:00 p.m. the night before a morning flight. Staff friendly. Room was clean, beds (2) were very good (firm), bathroom fine, HVAC not too intrusive. First time in awhile at a Best Western, after staying mostly at Hampton Inns, where the breakfasts are generally good and occasionally very good. The breakfast at this Best Western was horrible. The cheese omelets were dry and tasteless. There was a yogurt refrigerator with no yogurt, and an oatmeal display (dry packets) with no oatmeal. The raisin bran bin was empty. You get the picture. We stayed here based on ratings and price. If a good breakfast is important, stay somewhere else.
"Convenient to Airport"
Delta put me up here overnight after canceling my flight. Free shuttle, and staff was very helpful. Room was clean, quiet, and large. Hotel was average regarding age, vending, and elevator. A convenient stay for the airport.
"No frills"
Adequate for our one night after a long day flying into Atlanta airport. Few niggly issues, exercise room had no facility to clean machines, room extremely dark as couple lamps not working, breakfast very basic. BUT for what we paid and how long our stay was we did not think it warranted involving the staff, maybe if we had they would have resolved. Our check in was efficient, and the guy was super friendly and welcoming, which was appreciated as we were all tired and eager for sleep!
"good price for the area"
Me and my wife flew in and had a resrvation here. The pickup was nice and the room was very nice for the price. I was not exspecting anything this good in the area. Room was clean. We were in the Atlanta area for the next day and they let us keep our bags in there office. The Breakfast was better than most places. If you need a night before or after a flight I would recommend this place. We also rode the shuttle back to the airport the next day and used MARTA to travel around Atlanta.
"Good place for a short stay"
We stayed 2 nights here attending the Rotary International convention at the GWCC. Check-in was fast and friendly. The check in rep on Saturday morning was very kind ( sorry,I forgot her name). The shuttle bus driver (Clarence) was very friendly and we had some interesting conversations. He made our drive from the airport to the hotel fun. I could not see any restaurants or shops at walking distance but the shuttle was usually available to take people to close restaurants etc. It was quite comfortable to get to GWCC from this hotel. The shuttle takes you to the airport, then you took the MARTA to GWCC. Room was clean. The air conditioner worked well. The room had a fridge and a microwave oven which came in handy. Rooms were cleaned daily before we came back in the afternoon. It was a bit noisy as the room was on the airport side. The bed was comfortable. There was a complimentary breakfast, nothing fantastic, just the usual fare. Sometimes they ran out of cutlery. A bit surprised that we were told we could not print our boarding pass because they had run out of toner. All in all, it is a good place o stay for a short period.
"Best Western"
Good Hotel and Good Staff, Hotel is not located near any dinning or shopping. Breakfast could be more quality items and more options. Room was clean and stocked service was good. The location is not very good if you wish to dine out or shop.
"Close to Atlanta "
This hotel is close to Atalnta and our destination for the Georgia Aquarium. Rooms were decently priced and clean. Furnishings were well. It was a little loud being next to the airport, but the bed was so comfortable I fell asleep and stayed asleep. Breakfast was great they had hot breakfast. Juices, gravy and biscuits, sausage, little omelets, yogurt bagels etc. I'd recommend staying here if you will be close to Atlanta but don't want the traffic
"Upgrades needed"
When you find food in your refrigerator from the previous guest did you see a sign of the service you going to get. The property is in need of upgrade and it appears to be a party hotel at night. We were woken up at one in the morning but I guess you were shouting in the hallway. Also the bed was very uncomfortable.
"Convenient to the airport and College Park train station"
I stayed here while attending my daughter's HS graduation. Upon check-in, my wife and I were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. I had a rental car and it was a short drive from the airport (less than six minutes). For those without a car, the hotel provides shuttle service. The room was great but the shower lacked some water pressure. However, that was a minor inconvenience. The parking is tight and can fill up quickly. If you want to venture into downtown ATL without navigating through its busy traffic, a MARTA public train station is nearby with free parking. We did that one day and it was stress-free while exploring some of what Atlanta has to offer. We'll be back here...
"Mehh"
I stayed her while visiting Atlanta, while I have nothing negative to say about the hotel, I am not entirely sure I'd stay here again. It's a great value for your money, decent fast food restaurants are in the area but not walking distance and they even offer free continental breakfast and free airport shuttle. My only vice was the bed situation; I had a double suite and the beds were incredibly small, there was no way two adults would fit and the couch was not pull out. Although the pool, whirlpool and fitness center was small, I ultimately enjoyed my stay as the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
"Great value hotel, kind staff"
Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Service was good, room was good, loved the breakfast and in particular the coffee and bagels. The only thing I wish could be improved but think perhaps it is the same for all other hotels, is the airport shuttle pick up, which is only possible at the "purple zone". You will need to take a shuttle to get there so if you have lots of luggage it's not easy. But airport shuttle back was just fine. Would go back whenever the price is right!
"Weekend stay"
Booked at last minute. Checked in same day as booking. Gentleman greeted me and was very kind. Not too crazy about the parking. Kinda tight and not enough lights. Wasn't really in the room majority of the stay but it was great for a last minute stay. I would use them again.
"Great airport hotel"
We've stayed at this hotel before because it offers convenience on flights in and out of Atlanta. Comfortable lodging, great little breakfast with omelets, waffles, etc., and nice workout room and pool. If arriving late, no food service available, however. Eat at airport!
"Overnight stay at Best Western Suites"
A one night stay to break up our travels from Florida. Ample parking! Free breakfast in the am! Comfortable beds. I don't like the way some of the smaller hotels setup the coffee maker in the bathroom. Who wants to make coffee in the bathroom? Good for a sleep over. Parking lot does get full fast! Front desk is friendly. Price is reasonable.
"overnight"
Great place to stay with very pleasant and helpful staff. Continental breakfast included has standard fare. Pool a bit cool at this time of year but hot tub nice. Great cleanliness. Not a lot in the see especially if you are walking but they do have a shuttle to and from airport or MARTA.
"Tay review"
It was nice stay the staff was nice and the room was spacious and they made sure I know I was reward as a gold client. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator was too small I would definitely stay and recommend it to friends and family
"Stay preflight"
This was the closest and cheapest stay close to Atlanta's airport. Everyone was helpful and the room was clean. There was onsite room service and van service to airport, I did not use these services but the convenience is great.
"Nothing special, just for travel"
Regular hotel voor travel only. No bar, restaurant, outside terras or other facilities. Breakfast till 9 and then you have to leave immediatly. Room was ok. Nothing special. Just for travel en sleep only.
"Cleanliness is superb!!"
This hotel is so clean and the rooms are amazing! I didn't even have to hunt down housekeeping to clean my room when I was away they did it automatically. The hotel even smells wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.
BinaPatel, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
We appreciate your wonderful review of our hotel and our team!!! Thank you for being our guest and please visit us again!! Warm Regards-Bina Patel
"Layover"
On average an okay place to stay for one night. Patricia is rude and a tyrant. Housekeeping is great. Love the airport shuttle, it was very convenient. Yhe shuttle drivers are great, friendly and ready to help with luggage.
"Tired, but Clean"
My family stayed here the night before flying back home. It's an older hotel, and it's a bit worn down, but it's clean, and the room was spacious. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. If you're just looking for a place to crash, this place works.
"Good Overnight Stay Near Airport"
We stayed here on a 24 hour layover primarily because this hotel offers shuttle service. The shuttle drivers were friendly and professional. The hotel itself seemed to be in a safe area. The room was comfortable and clean as was the bed. Internet was very good. We have stayed here twice and would return. There is a Howard Johnsons across the street that opens for dinner at 5 p.m. They offer country style food with great service.
"To keep business,Keep your customers satisfied at all times,Practice good business ethics."
After arriving at the best western airport south phoenix blvd. My reservation was to pay cash upon arrival on Wednesday November 22nd and use my card for the two additional nights and check out on sat November 26th 2016.However, I was not allowed to pay cash when I arrived and had to go back and forth with the night staff about the matter on November 25th 2016 as well as the date of arrival.I also came out the this morning to check out and my driver side window was busted out and again besides the front desk woman stating with no courteous I contact that there's a sign stating the hotel is not responsible for anything. That's all well and good but you are running a business and again there a things called business ethics .EVENTUALLY THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS WILL HURT YOUR BUSINESS. Common courtesy would be to help out in any way to assist your good customers and to train your employees to be courteous as well as talk respectfully to them as well. Considering the distance I drove and chose your business to stay at. Bill C. New Jersey
"Overnight Stay"
I stayed here for one night 11/10/16-11/11/16 for a night in town for family business. The hotel was great; clean and friendly. The area..... not so well! If you don't have a car there is no where to eat! Major turn off!!! But the front desk was friendly and very reliable source for other places to eat outside the area! Free breakfast and quick trip to the airport.
"Good enough"
Hotel was clean, safe, and had transportation to and from airport. Shuttle ride takes about 15 minutes. Breakfast was decent but unremarkable. no nearby good food choices so be ready to order in or venture out. Hotel only had a treadmill and recumbent bike and the treadmill was broken so do not expect to work out.
"a good nights sleep"
this hotel is very close to the Atlanta airport so I can turn my car in the night before & a shuttle will take me to the airport when I am ready. I don't have to deal with any traffic or worry about being late for my flight. Staff is very helpful & kind. The prices was adjusted to a very low fee according to the types of memberships that I had. I will go back again next year when I am in that area.

"Better than the Hapeville Best Western"
When I fly in and out of ATL I use a motel with long term parking near the airport. I have stayed at a Best Western for my last three trips. The one south of the airport is more convenient, has a good breakfast, and inexpensive parking. I will stay in this same motel in January 2017 when I fly to and from Tucson.

"Good enough for a quick nights sleep"
Staff was pleasant. The food was the standard BW fare. This is a good location to by-pass Atlanta and keep rolling west. Rooms are fairly clean but need a little work in the bathrooms. Its also pet friendly with lots of walking areas outside.
BinaPatel, Public Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Thank you for taking time to review our hotel. We appreciate honest feedback from our guests, because it helps us to improve our services. We did want to point out that our hotel is not pet friendly, unless you have a service pet. Once again, thank you for being our guest. "Clean, close to airport, very nice"
The hotel is a Best Western Plus, and the plus part makes a difference. It was very nice and there were friendly staff members at check-in and check-out. Very close to the airport, which was a positive for me.

"Comfortable Stay/ Close the The Airport"
I decided to stay at the hotel as I had an early outbound flight out of Atlanta and enjoyed a luxurious jacuzzi suite. The suite offered a breakfast area and seating area. The room was comfortable and was quiet as I was concerned about the noise to to the close proximity to the airport.
BinaPatel, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review

"Wait for Transportation"
Had to find our way to the transportation pickup point at the airport. Was hard to find because airport does not have signage and you ask from point to point. Rooms was ready and comfortable for you stay. Nice breakfast and off we again went back to the airport for the last flight to our destination. Would stay here again
BinaPatel, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
I understand that the airport transportation is a bit hard to locate, and want to apologize for the wait. We will be sure and explain to all future guest coming from the airport that our shuttle is located at ground transportation, zone 3. We are glad that you did enjoy the rest of your stay with us. Thank you for staying with us, and hope to see you again soon! Warm Regards, Bina Patel-Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South
"Good for transit"
The room is clean and spacious. I have two kids and they can play and enjoy the space inside the room. The breakfast is standard, they have shuttle to airport, the staff is helpful and the price is reasonable. The best is we arrive early and they gave us early check in.

"Great, comfortable & friendly staff!"
We found the hotel very comfortable and although close to the airport we could not hear the planes at all. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and it served a great breakfast! Perfect for weary road trippers! An older style hotel, it had everything we needed and more!

"Relatively comfortable stay"
We stayed at this hotel after failing to get a connecting flight to North Carolina. The shuttle service was an excellent perk as was the breakfast. As our luggage was sent to North Carolina, it was necessary to ask for toiletries at the front desk. The only thing NOT available was antiperspirant, although it WAS available at a vending machine at a cost of $3.00.

"Comfortable BW Plus"
This has to be one of the most friendly hotels we have stayed in in some time. From the time we entered to check in the staff could not do enough to see to our needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Provided breakfast was standard fare but what you would expect. Definitely would stay here again.

"It Would've Been a 5"
My wife and I rested here after moving out our place. I wanted to stay for 1) the proximity to the airport and 2) to give my wife a good night's rest. The African American gentleman with the highlight in his hair at the front desk was very professional and accommodating. I requested a late check-out with an additional hour added on and paid the $30 fee. He made sure my wife and I were comfortable and seemed to genuinely care. I explained that my wife and I had to vacate our home under abnormal circumstances and he said he'd pray that all goes well. Once I departed and deplaned, I called to see if I could get his name to give him commendations. The lady who answered the phone would not give me his name and asked, "What are commendations?" I explained that I wanted the gentleman's supervisor to know how professional he was and she said, "Oh, you can just go on TripAdviser for that." I ended the conversation while doing that, my wife called telling me the housekeeping had showed up, repeatedly knocked on the door and entered even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. She told housekeeping that I paid for a late check-out and housekeeping called the front desk. The same lady who did not know what commendations were said there was no record of such. I let her know that my credit card showed the late check-out fee for which she replied that she would 'do not this time'; not good since my receipt indicates my payment for service. My wife ended up leaving early out of frustration.
BinaPatel, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel & Suites Airport South, responded to this review
Please accept my apologies for the misunderstanding with the late checkout. I am very sorry that your wife was not able to rest properly. We will reverse the fees for the late checkout. Also, I appreciate your wonderful comments for Ray. I have shared these with him. Thank you for being a valued guest, and we hope to see you again soon! "Short but comfortable stay"
We stayed at this hotel as part of a transit, and it was ideal as it was in walking distance to a local iHop and Wendy's. The photos underrate the room, as the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. They have great showers, and there was strong Wifi which is always of course a deal breaker.
"Quiet, clean, comfortable"
The title says it all. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The ground are very nicely landscaped; the lobby, breakfast room, halls and elevator are immaculate. Breakfast was hot and the items were constantly replenished as guests served themselves. One thing to keep in mind is that there is not a restaurant within walking distance (except McDonald's) so you will have to drive a distance for your meal or drinks. Not a show-stopper but good to know. No complaints. It is exactly what you expect to find. No surprises, which can be very welcoming after a long day of driving.
"comfort and accessibility"
great experience being wheel chair bound my accommodations were very comfortable and accessible. having flew in from Detroit arriving at the hotel I will admit I was a little surprised at how nice the hotel appeared from the outside judging from my past experiences traveling with my family over the years. We rarely stayed at Best Westerns but I always saw there Logo big cities or little towns. once I got inside things just started getting better and better. When I got to my room I said this is how you do it. With a breakfast on top

"Great place to stay"
The room was clean and staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel was easy to find and entry and exiting was easy. They have a shuttle to the airport. Even though I wasn't going to the airport someone checked with me at breakfast to see if I needed the shuttle - how nice and considerate! The room was dark enough for sleeping except for the night light that I couldn't turn off except to unplug. TV and internet both worked. I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last eight years and find it to be consistently like I have described.
"Far from best staff"
The hall and room was musty smelling which made breathing a problem. The microwave kept beeping a "song" in the middle of the night. The breakfast was OK but lacked the eggs and cups of yogurts selections. The rest of breakfast items were usual fair.
"Could have stayed in a back packers and had a better experience!"
Nothing good to say about this place. We arrived at 1am and were pretty tired, hungry and grumpy so the state of the hotel didnt help. Very dated and it smelled funky. Towels were very thin and crunchy. Snack vending machines didnt work and we really wanted food. Staff werent bad but didnt go out of their way to be helpful either. The so called 'free' airport shuttle had the smallest luggage compartment in the world, so when we rocked up with 4 large suitcases we were basically made to feel unwanted and told to get another shuttle. Free breakfast was grosse! Bed was reasonably comfortable. I have had worse! For the cost I would say go elsewhere, you can do better.
"Nice hotel close to the airport"
Clean and modern room, good breakfast with a wide variety, reasonable price and close to the airport. It was maybe a 10 minute drive to downtown and the aquarium. I would stay here again if I was back in Atlanta.
"OK Hotel, terrible trans to airport."
The hotel is fine, but the shuttle service to the airport is poorly maintained, difficult to find, and run by incompetent drivers. Hotel staff was also very poor in communicating the location and details of the shuttle service. It DOESN'T STOP AT THE INTERNATIONAL TERMINDAL. Which "Area 3?"
"Ok for a night..."
We chose this hotel as we were arriving in Atlanta late in the evening and wanted to stay overnight before leaving for Savannah the next day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had booked a King room. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was the mildewy/mouldy smell in the room that seemed to be coming from the air conditioner. I don't know whether it was the HVAC system or the fact that perhaps the room had not been used for a while, but it was overwhelming. We were too tired to request another room by the time we arrived and settled in, but you definitely want to be aware of this and do request another room if you encounter this problem. Also, the walls are fairly thin between adjoining rooms so you can hear everything (including the TV and any loud discussions).
"I Would Highly Recommend This Hotel!"
The staff was great and the one incident I encountered was corrected quickly and professionally! If you do not have a car, it is not close to any food except McDonalds. That was the only thing I did not like about the location.
"Fulfilled the need"
Missed our connecting flight. Delta put us up here. I was a little worried when I heard best western since not all of them are the best. This one was not one of them. The van picked up and took us to the hotel. The room was much nicer, bigger and cleaner than I thought it would be. Breakfast was good too and the ride to the airport the next morning was right on time.
"Great Stay. Excellent Location."
Great Stay. Excellent Location to Atlanta Airport. Staff very friendly. Proximity to restaurants good. Felt safe and secure. Had to check out early to get on International Flight and staff was very efficient and helpful.
"Needs to improve shuttle"
We went to hotel to stay the night before an early flight!! scheduled shuttle for 400 am was told it would be there at 355 at 440 still no shuttle and had to call us a cab! we paid to park there for a week and on returning! waited 50 minutes at the airport for a shuttle was suppose to run every 30minutes called twice , was treated rude by a foriegn lady, and she just lied twice said shuttle was on its way, we called again in 30 minutes she got huffy again i cancelled and paid for another shuttle back to hotel! oh the night clerk lady was very very nice and helpful! they need more like her!!
"Lay over"
I had to stay a night because I missed my connecting flight. This hotel was very nice and clean and had great amenities to offer since I was left without luggage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great room and comfy bed. Clean
"Don't stay here"
Arrived at Atlanta Airport about 11 p.m. and called for pickup from the airport. Van driver did not show up. Arrived at hotel around midnight. Another hotel chain gave me a ride to the hotel. Desk clerk was very personable and helpful with check in. Very old decor. Room had odor and was dirty. Attempted to check out of the hotel at 4:30 a.m. and no one was available to check me out. Had to seek out the van driver for a ride. He was asleep in the lobby.
"Needs a better shuttle service"
I think it would be good to have a bigger shuttle, or multiple shuttles for busier times. We were waiting about 5 minutes in advance of the 7 am shuttle, but there were too many people, so we had to wait for the 7:30 shuttle and we had to rush to make our flight once we got to the airport. Everything else was wonderful. Josie was very sweet and made us feel welcome.
"Best Western - Atlanta Airport"
No complaints here. Service, room, and location were all great. It only took about 10 minutes to get to the rental location at the airport. The hotel is located in College Park. We stopped at the gas station not too far from the hotel and although there were no issues while there, it did not seem like the area was the greatest.
"excellent"
very nice hotel after coming from hotel by airport tried to book they said other hotel compared to this one didnt even come close . hotel staff was very good when coming in very helpful and knew what she was doing
"Location great, 7 minutes from Airport"
Close to Airport, friendly staff.Enjoyed having coffee and a Danish before we headed to the Airport to pick up my son. I did not really check out the area around the Hotel, so not sure what is nearby as far as shopping or Restaurants. We had stopped at Newman, Georgia on the way which is probably 20 miles away.. There is plenty of shopping and Restaurants here.
"No problems what so ever"
Booked the hotel online, hotels was just like the pictures. Room was clean, well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Internet was very fast. When I got to the hotel and realized we were right across the street from the airport, I was a little hesitant, but NEVER heard the first airplane!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
"Nice and clean"
A really nice and clean hotel in a short distance to the rental car return at Atlanta Airport. Staff was very friendly, the room big and clean. Only the brekfast was - compared to other BW breakfast Arrangements - a big disappointment. There was only a limited choice of items, warm breakfast didn't not taste at all.
"Not amazing, not bad"
This hotel, if you get a decent deal, is worth the price that you pay for it. Its clean and semi-modern (for an airport hotel) and the breakfast is good enough to not feel the need to eat anywhere else. The shuttle was a bit nerve racking if you are hesitant of other people driving you around but it's free so there's nothing much to complain about. Overall it's an adequate place to stay if you're just using the airport. On a side note, we walked to the McDonalds that was just down the street and the lobby was closed before 10pm, which was a little disappointing but there was a Checkers just a block down that you could eat at.
"JOSEPHINE IS AMAZING!!!"
After a terrible experience with Delta airlines, my plane was cancelled and I had to stay over in Atlanta. Josephine was so cordial, polite and very helpful! She gave me everything I needed and made me welcomed. When I come back, I'm sure to stay again. Thanks for the great stay.
"Absolutely horrible, nightmare experience. I will not stay here even if they paid me"
My flight was canceled on 5/1/2016 so unfortunately I stayed at this horrible hotel. The hotel room looks nice but that's about it. The night staff (Jackline?) was very rude and she tried to get you to be sleepless. First of all the room I received was extremely loud. The next door neighbor was fighting, arguing and I can hear every words loud and clear through the door between the two room. I went down to be changed to another. She was very reluctant to change the room. Then she switched me to a room without hot water in the shower. So after a-day's torture with Delta airline at the airport. My misfortune continued. I took a quick shower in cold water. As if that's not enough, the bedding was extremely thin and it became terribly cold. I turned on the heater but it was still preventing me to sleep because my body was very cold. And the heater was venting some very unpleasant smell. I called the front desk, and this Jacky girl said that you have to come down to get a blanket yourself. With my night dress, I went to the front desk to gat blankets. She refused to give me two blanket and she said it is the rule. I was not able to sleep because it was too cold for me. Unless you would like to be tortured and not be able to sleep, do not go to this hotel. Poor management, poor utilities, poor quality. I will not stay here even if they paid me.
"No Planes Flying Over"
I'm always concerned about staying near an airport since I don't want to hear planes all night. This Best Western is a short distance from the airport and so quiet! No planes and no traffic noise because, while it's close to a main street, it's actually on a street that doesn't get a lot of traffic. We had a very restful night and a nice, complementary breakfast in the morning (biscuits and gravy were good). The lady in the breakfast area kept everything stocked and there were plenty of table since it was a weekday.
"Fitness"
It's clean, but they need to upgrade. The equipment in the exercise room this old, matradado and not functioning properly. The elevator; It gives the feeling that is going to fall, besides the noisy doors, espcially the bathroom. To stay a night, I think it can serve
"The place to stay"
When traveling to/through Atlanta, the Best Western seems to be the location able to accommodate each traveler's requirements. Professional, yet family values. Truly a surprise, and thank you again, Denise!
"Comfortable and cozy hotel"
The hotel is very nice and clean. I always enjoy my stay here, one of the best and the staff is always friendly with great customer service. Jeaneete doesn't greet you until she is ready to serve you, this could be better but other than that great hotel for the price and location.
"Good stay"
Good service, friendly staff, everything ready for us when we got there. Opened up area for students to practice chess in the breakfast room at 9:00pm. Big beautiful rooms cleaned daily. Very modern - contemporary decor. Only thing it had no laundromat.
"Incredible find!"
After a long day on the construction-riddled freeway, this hotel turned out to be our savior for the evening. Denise behind the front desk was ready to arrange transportation for us to go eat and watch NCAA basketball. After our horrible day, we decided to stay in and she found us an incredible delivery restaurant. She was caring, friendly and compassionate. The rate at the hotel was reasonable. The rooms clean and very comfortable as well. We overlooked the runways of the airport and you couldn't hear anything. It was fun to watch though!
"Wonderful experience!"
Miss Denise and Miss Josephine were so nice and helpful at the desk. Also very funny. Fast and efficient service. The room and bathroom was neat and comfortable. I would definitely come back here on my next trip and recommend this to anyone going to this area.
"DON'T PARK YOUR CAR HERE"
Left my car here for 3 days when flying out of ATL. Parking lot is very tight. My car was hit and when I asked for them to review the parking lot video so I could file a police report of the hit and run, they said they wouldn't do it. I was told it was my problem and not theirs. I was also told by another employee that this happens all the time but that management won't reconfigure the parking spaces to allow for more room because of the cost to do so and the loss of parking revenue.
"The front desk staff (especially Miss Pat) was amazing!!!"
The staff was incredibly helpful!!!! When our toddler got sick, Miss Pat came to our rescue and brought us towels and soap. She was kind, caring, and sympathetic! We couldn't have been more blessed by her help!!!!
"Great Value"
The room was very spacious, with plenty of room for separation of work and play. The internet connection was fast running making for an easy work time. The hotel breakfast area was very spacious easily accommodating all the guests.
"Good place to stay!"
This hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle was on time. Consider staying here as it is close to the airport. Breakfast was good and hot and a good variety. We were able to leave our car there for only $5 per day. Took the shuttle back to the hotel when we returned from our trip. I would definitely stay here again.
"A Great Hotel For Business or Leisure"
The staff is awesome, Ms. Pat and Beamma is a fresh of good air. Great for the price and location is good. You will not be disappointed at this BestWestern Hotel. I have never had a bad experience here and they always make you feel important with that great southern hospitality.
"Good location for domestic flights"
Odd parking arrangement, but fine if you are flying in or out of Atlanta. Rooms are standard BW offering. The breakfast area is a very odd layout - L shaped with some items on what may once have been a bar, but which is high and inconvenient - particularly for the waffle maker. Cups are separate from drinks, and while the staff was friendly, refilling of serving dishes was slow.
"Unexpected Layover"
United Airlines provided a voucher due to flight delay. Hotel was good choice for unexpected stay. Did not use any of teh facilities or have breakfast due to early flight return. Would reccomed for a reasonable rate at $74 night
"Nice Hotel"
Good hotel near airport with airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Also, not really close to downtown but you can uber there for about 10-15 bucks. But it is right around the corner from a bad area. The good thing is that it is off of a bus system but you are still able to access nice surrounding areas. Great place to stay if you have a rental car.
"super happy"
Days Inn next door gave our room away well before checkin time so we were forced to go to Best Western and I'm happy I did. They knocked off $30 a night from there rates to help us out and the hotel was much better.
"We missed our flight. "
We had to stay overnight due to missing our flight. The stay was great. The room was larger than I thought it would be and it was very clean! My husband did not like the bed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The best part however was the man who drove the shuttle. He was hilarious, personable, and very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we knew what was available around the hotel and downtown Atlanta and took us to the international gate for our flight the next day.
"Very nice"
This hotel had large, clean rooms (suite size), a good breakfast, courteous staff, and a free shuttle to the airport. It almost made up for our delayed flight and an unexpected layover. We were only there over night, so not sure what other accommodations they offer.
"Well rested"
Monthly I come to the Atlanta area on business, finally I've found a hotel I want to return to. The staff is great, the breakfast is satisfying, but best of all is a great night sleep. This hotel is quiet, smoke-free and the beds are VERY COMFORTABLE.

"Bed Bugs!!!!!!"
Stayed the night because of a misses connection - I would have been better sleeping in the airport. When I awoke, I was covered in bed bug bites. The front desk lady was extremely rude and kept saying you are wrong. Clearly the red bite marks across my back and legs don't exist. The manager claims they have no bed bugs and I must be having an allergic reaction. It is true, I am allergic to bed bugs!!! The only other thing I am allergic to is a chemical has been banned in the US for 20 years. I don't know which is worse. STAY AWAY!!

"Great location and easy access to College Park MARTA station"
The hotel was as expected and we didn't have any issues. I usually write reviews about hotels but my main focus is the great access to the College Park MARTA station. We drove in for the Chick Fil A Peach Bowl. We didn't want to stay near the stadium so opted to stay in this area and take the train to the Dome/GWCC station. It was the easiest and best decision ever. The parking at College Park MARTA station is free for 24 hours. The cost of the ticket was around $6.00 per person round trip. The train stop is a 5 minute walk to the stadium. My suggestion is to drive to the station prior to the event so you can get an idea of the route and where to park. We would definitely stay here again!
"Great stay really clean"
stayed overnight on Business and enjoyed the stay. Front desk clerk was very friendly and very helpful. Room was a suite and on end of building with very low noise from inside or outside even tho airport was visible from room #419
"Nicely Updates"
We stayed here twice, before and after our travel. Good location for the airport. Staff was friendly, our king room was very large with a sitting area with sofa and work desk, separate from the bed area. Bathroom had good lighting!! It appears the hotel has been updated recently. On our return night, their were a number of travelers checking in due to a cancellations from the recent snow storm. The young lady at the desk was very efficient and handling everyone, kept her cool, and even joked as she quickly processed everyone. Shuttle to the airport can only hold about 12 people, so we had to wait for a second run to the airport. Something to consider if you are cutting it close. They also offer parking while you are away for only $5 day. I thought that was an excellent value. You do need to call the hotel for shuttle when you return, it isn't automatic pick up. Typical breakfast buffet. Would use them again when in the area. Bed was very comfortable.
"Very nice hotel"
Loved the updated decor of the hotel, inside the lobby and the rooms. Very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the option of a late check out. Staff was friendly as well. We arrived very late...3:00 am and were offered a late check out thank goodness. I would recommend this hotel to others. It is also in a central location.
"Great Hotel close to the airport"
This hotel is convenient to the airport. Their shuttle bus will take you to the airport and dinner. The hotel is quiet, and friendly, the beds are very comfortable. I have stayed here twice and will stay again.
"Mr. Don"
Priced right. Convenient to airport, shuttle to and from airport works great. And with the recommendation from the Front Desk Girl to return our Rental Car that night rather than early AM the next day was a blessing.
"Exceeding Expectations"
Firstly, I'll summarize my experience at this Hotel... Impeccable Service, Cleanliness, Quality, and Prices. The staff I encountered during my short stay, that I'd like to point out and highly reccommend.... Front Desk Staff Members; Denise Pat Angela Reggie Housekeeping; Edith Cruz Doniesha Gladys(Asst Supervisor) All of which I'd personally reccomend, and would surely hire(all with management positions), at a 5 Star Resort. I flew out of Palm Beach on Delta Airlines, on the way to Colorado Springs, Co.... After a short layover in Atlanta, GA, we boarded the plane to CO. Seated and buckled in, the Pilot appeared and informed us that a mechanical issue with my plane was discovered, and the Brakes were inneffective. After a terrible experience, flaberghasted, and exhausted. Both the staff and the Best Western Hotel made me feel at home, and almost forgot about the very reason that I founded myslf alone, and stranded in Atlanta GA
"Decent place to spend the night"
My flight reached in the evening and I stayed for the night. Shuttle picked me up and dropped me to the airport. Rooms were clean, bathroom was big enough and clean. Hotel staff was friendly. Had a decent breakfast as well.
""Port in a storm""
Pricing was high, and the facility needs work for the price. The sofa had stains on the pillows, We had an adjactent room and we could hear the person passing gas next door. Curtious and professional staff.
"Convienent"
I was only here for one brief night. Room was clean and quiet, just what I needed. The shuttle service to/from airport was very helpful. I needed to be at the airport before shuttle service began and the hotel staff was very kind and generous to have a taxi waiting for me.
"Nothing worked"
Too much to mention but NOTHING worked and I was there for 9 nights. Housekeepers had attitudes and gave me the bottle of air freshener to spray for myself. Angela the manager and Carlton in maintenance and Gannet on days at reception were GREAT. Only ones who made trip tolerable. No water pressure, water wasn't hot, phone didn't work, plugs loose on walls, heater came on by itself and was told by staff to unplug. This is in NOVEMBER!! weekend day crew bad attitudes like they are doing you a favor being there. AGM will not call you back if you have issues even if you request it. Says she did but she didn't leave a message. Oh and anyone trying to call you can not leave a message on your phone so don't expect to see red light lit. Staff told me that doesn't work.

"Good Service"
Arrived at Atlanta in the evening and it was great to be picked up by the shuttle for this hotel. Breakfast was also included which was fine. We arrived at the International Terminal. We got ground transport bus over to Domestic terminal then found hotel shuttle buses. Really easy to find. The hotel shuttle took us back to airport the next morning to pick up rental car. Great service. Surprised at bad reviews because we found the hotel to be clean and very comfortable.

"Comimg home to the Atlanta airport Best western"
Great at usual, very comfortable with the new decor. The staff is very friendly except the early morning driver to the airport that was kind of grumpy when I asked him to take me to he north side. He said,"this is he only stop", he did not know that we are assidous travelers and know our way around. I insisted and he drove us to the other side not before slamming the car door. The old man that drives in the evening is delightful.

"Never again!"
I am beyond disappointed in my Best Western stay on 11/11/15 and general manager Kamlesh Patel's customer service. We stayed at this location because of proximity to airport. All we needed was a bed and hot showers but there was no hot water in the shower no matter how long it ran. Called the front desk that night and was not offered another room. Told front desk again at check out the next morning and was told to call the hotel manager with the complaint. GM Kamlesh Patel would not personally call me back, instead using another employee named Angela. She was very courteous and compassionate but said she was only authorized to refund $20 out of the $100 to make up for the lack of hot water. I asked Angela to tell Patel that was unacceptable and she said that was all she was authorized to refund me because we stayed at the hotel instead of leaving that night (which made no sense to me because I already paid for the room in full). She did clarify that I was not offered another room because the hotel was fully booked. After several phone calls back and forth to give Angela time to talk with the general manager, she said Patel authorized her to refund $50 out of the $100 but if that was still not acceptable to me then I would get no money back. I asked her if Patel realized I would leave bad reviews and she implied he didn't care. I'm baffled by the way general manager Kamlesh Patel treats customers.
"Pass on this one - Run down and not kept up"
I found this hotel left a lot to be desired:, run down, poor upkeep, not so nice desk clerk. I would prob. not ever stay in this hotel again due to being run down and not well equipped. Better choices out there for the $$
"Close to Airport"
The Co. I work for is based in Atlanta, Ga. We build restaurants around the US. So I stay at Best Westerns a lot. When I have to fly out of the area, I stay at this one because it is so close to the airport with great service, great breakfast, large rooms, nearly 24 hr. shuttle to and from the airport, plenty of close places to eat and even a hotel eatery. I had a flight that was earlier than there shuttle started and they provided me a taxi, free of charge. AND Downtown Atlanta is only an easy 15 minute drive. "GO Bengals" I will be back.
"Outstanding Service"
I arrived here on 10/22/2015, passing through on my way to Talladega. The manager, Kamlesh, and Pat were checking people in quite expediently. Very friendly and efficient. I even requested a late checkout because I'm was having to wait for my race buddy (grandson) to pick me up. They were happy to accommodate my request, and I've had to sit in their lobby all day the next day. They've been nothing but nice, and helpful. Ganett (hope I spelled it right) kept me company all day when she wasn't busy w/her duties. Did I mention the king room was very nicely decorated, and clean? Great accommodations at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Atlanta! Thank you for your hospitality! The one thing I would comment on negatively was their shuttle service. Very slow. Took them almost an hour to pick me up at the airport. Never appeared to be in a big hurry.
"looks"
The rooms have great services, small fridge, nice tv quality, great bathroom, pleasurable pressure water. love the gym but there is no restaurant, neither room service. Additionally I arrived late in the evening and the lady at front desk was a bit tired and still she was the sweetest thing. She made sure to understand what I was telling and never made a fuss about it. The manager was right beside her and didn't have to say a word.
"The SWEETEST People!!"
Our room was great! And the best price we've paid yet in our married life. Ms. Pat, who works the front desk hooked us up with late checkout at noon when we checked in and when she checked us out she personally bought us breakfast!!! The shuttle driver, Tony, was just what we needed after a trying day at the airport. He was very friendly and even helped us get the best deal on dinner. We would definitely recommend staying here! They take care of you like family! =)
"Not my washcloth..."
Pretty gross to find a used washcloth from a previous stay hanging in the shower during my stay. Hotel staff just took my room number, and that was all. There was no attempt to make the situation right.
"Average airport hotel"
Good size room (2 queens) but stale air and partly shabby looking. Breakfast ok. Good enough for one overnight stay passing through. Shuttlebus service to domestic airport only. From there skytrain to rental car centre.
"What a difference a year makes!"
Last year this time; the hotel was renovated either your business volume has had a huge surge in hotel gest for it to look so worn out. the shower curtains were shredded looking and the towels had a dull grey appearance. I stay here for the excellent location and the great complimentary breakfast bar which i still rate exceptional
"Clean and Comfortable"
Very nice and clean hotel. The rooms were suite style with new TVs and appliances. The breakfast was well stocked with all the expected items. The front desk was very helpful and courteous. I would stay here again.
"HUGE ROOM"
The executive suite was huge. Our party included 4 adults and a baby and we had plenty of room. There was a living room that was a good size and a kitchen area that was huge that had a kitchen table in it. My daughter kept saying they should put the desk in the space, I think if you should check out this room if you don't like to be too confined. I will stay here again.
"Good Airport Hotel"
The shuttle service and the friendly driver helped to make this a really good airport hotel stay. I had to overnight before catching an early morning flight, and not only did I find the shuttle very timely and comfortable, but the sleep quality at the hotel was quite nice. The breakfast was satisfactory as well. No complaints. Will stay there again if I have to overnight in Atlanta.
"In Town for Atlanta Braves game"
Wonderful place to stay! Staff was very nice! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and good choices. Room was clean and quiet. Airport shuttle, we missed the first one and driver came right back and got us to our plane on time. Front desk clerk very nice! Pleasantly surprised! Great location if flying in and out. Not many places to eat close by, only McDonald's, but they offer free shuttle to restaurant and will bring you back. Great stay!
"dissatisfied"
Their ad on trip adviser says free parking. It only applied to the one night we stayed. We had to pay for the other 5 nights we had to pay $5 a day. Across the street parking is free. We had to wait for a ride to the airport and barely made it to our gate in time.
