« Trip to Florida to visit Aunt »

Went to visit Aunt who was sick in hospital at Cocoa Beach. On the way down, I received a message that she was no longer in the hospital, but in rehab. She is 94 years old and doing much better. Plans are to return during Christmas.

    « A one night stay during a roadtrip »

Clean, helpful at the front desk and a pretty decent breakfast. There was a bit of a problem with our bathtub in one of our booked rooms, as it took almost 20 minutes to drain after a 15 minutes shower. I wouldn't staying here again. Good value for money.

    « Kind of disappointing »

We booked this hotel several months in advance. Our reservation was for a King room. We left a note with the reservation, asking for a quiet room on the upper floor. My fiancée is even a Diamond member in the BW Rewards program - obviously this is not worth anything. When we checked in, the staff member told us, the rooms had been assigned earlier that day and that our room was on the ground level. Also it was right across from the vending machine - so it was actually the opposite of what we asked for. There were no other rooms available, because the hotel was booked out. Since we didn't want to stay on the ground level at all, we decided to stay in a room on the upper floor with two double beds instead of the King room. The room itself was pretty worn out, furniture looked very old-fashioned. That was kind of surprising because the lobby and breakfast room were very modern. The air conditioning was unbelievably loud, I have not experienced anything like that before. Here's one positive thing about the hotel though: The breakfast was very good. They had a large selection: fresh yogurt and toppings, pancakes, waffles, pastries, toast, bagels, sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and so on. So that was a plus. I still don't understand why the hotel gives the opportunity to leave special requests upon booking when obviously they are not read by the staff. There is definitely room for improvement. It is by the way not the first time this has happened at Best Western hotels, whereas at competing hotel chains, they always consider our requests. So I am giving three stars, one for the breakfast, one for the reasonable price, one for overall cleanliness. Still - we would not stay here again.

« Night before our cruise »

We mad reservations at the Best Western Cocoa Inn, due to reviews on Trio Advisor. We were not disappointed. Staff was extremely helpful and we could understand them. The rooms were extremely clean and well kept. Thebes was very comfortable. We slept like babies. The breakfast was also very good. Only complaint would be all pork products. They need some turkey or beef sausage and perhaps plain gravy. Also, I accidentally left my pillow which they still had when we returned from our cruise. We will definitely stay again.

    « Nice stay »

Nice and clean hotel. Very nice cold/hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to shopping centers, restaurants and gas stations. Comfort beds. The room was clean. Newly remodeled lobby and well decorated.

    « Take birds »

We went to several hotels including Motel 6 and Courtyard by Marriott but BW was the only one that accepted our bird in his travelling cage. We were very tired and the staff were very accommodating. They even told us the phone number for Dominoes nearby as we were starving at this point.

    « Water »

There was a smell in my room on arrival and that did not go away. On awakening the entire courtyard was flooded and I had to wad barefooted to the lobby for breakfast and to my car. The staff was average, just didn't seem to have any energy.

    « Fair Value for $$ »

Stayed here 5 nights, price was within reason. Room was recently updated. No elevator (advised when I arrived). Free breakfast was as good as it gets. Room lacked vacant electrical outlets that were convenient for laptop or cell chargers.

    « Large clean room »

The room was large and clean. The breakfast was on of the best we have ever had. They had everything you could ever want. From fresh yogurt and toppings, to hot entrees and everything in between. They were always putting fresh food out. It was wonderful.

« Best place to stay! »

This was a gem of a hotel. Not a lot of decent hotels in this area that are reasonably priced. They put on a beautiful breakfast really nice assortment. The beds are very comfortable...rooms are nice & well maintained. Pool is spotless & they have nice outdoor grills to use as well.

« Great Service (during Hurricane Matthew) »

Reeple and his wife were amazing during our evacuation to this hotel in Cocoa, FL. during Hurricane Matthew. He was cool under pressure - wind howling, phone ringing off the hook. Always kind and patient, very professional. Accommodated vacationers, local and first responders with the same level of professionalism and generosity. We have also stayed there during our building project in Cocoa and they were great.

« our temporary home during a mandatory evacuation »

very hard to write a review when fleeing a major hurricane. the cocoa inn is in a good location for us and if we have to evacuate our home on a barrier island, we would definitely go to cocoa inn. the only suggestion we offer is the mattresses on the bed are very near the end of their lives and should be replaced. this was reported to management and we were assured that this wouid be taken care of.

    « Review »

I travel for business a lot and this hotel meets my needs spendidly. The hotel is clean and the service meets my needs. The rooms are adequate for my needs. I stay here at least four nights a week almost every week.

    « Fantastic »

Awesome overnight stay. We stayed at this hotel to attend a family event. Truly enjoyed our stay, easy access to I-95 and lots of different restaurants available in the area. The hotel was easy to find and very well maintained. We will stay at this hotel whenever we visit this area in the future.

« nice place to stay »

Had no problems here. when ever we needed something, like extra towels there was never an issue. Also the breakfast was really good!! the kids liked their "magic pancake maker"! We have never seen one of those before!

    « Peaceful Place »

Best Western Cocoa. It,s very nicely kept. The lobby has been upgraded nicely. The breakfast area is very clean and well organized. There's a variety of breakfast items to choose from. the room was very clean and well kept. The atmosphere was tranquil. the pool area felt very private. the pool was great! enjoyed our stay. Would go back gladly. Great price!! Convienently located and easy to find.

    « Nice little Gem »

Been driving for several hours and just really needed to get out of the car. Turned off the highway and BAM ...there it was, The Best Western Cocoa Inn. On first impressions I could tell the property was their since the Moon Landing but that didn't deter me as I also noticed that every inch of it had been painted recently. So I decided to give it a try. I was tired and just really needed some sleep. After not having a very hard decision on where to park because of the ample amount of parking spaces I mosied into the lobby to see if I could get a room. It was extremely evident that the lobby had just recently been remodeled as everything looked crisp and very comfortable. I approached the front desk where I was greeted by, oh what was her name..ummm oh yeah Jessica. From start to finish she was pleasant and made the check-in process very simple. Got all the check-in information, keys in hand, map of the property so I wasn't wandering around like a zombie tourist trying to find my room and headed out the door. I passed the water fountain and contemplated to toss in a penny or not. Continued down the walkway past the fauna, which you could tell was maintained and taken care of. Pfft now i'm just rambling. Ok, so I get to my room and open the door to a nice surprise, the room was actually bigger then what I had expected. There was a desk, a microwave, a mini-fridge, a flat screen TV, a table and two chairs to which I could sit down and eat something at. The bathroom and vanity area was very very clean. The coffee maker, iron and ironing board were tucked away just above the in room safe. Hanging on the shower wall were the bottles that dispensed the shampoo and conditioner which was a change from the tiny little bottles most hotels supply. The shower and floor grout was WHITE !! not that faded brown color. Carpet appeared clean IE.. no noticeable stains and the room didn't have that musky odor some other hotels do. Although the beds are not Pillow tops they were way more comfortable then the one I use I home so obviously I slept like a baby. I was a tad worried about the highway being so close because sometimes at other hotels you hear the road noise but this wasn't the case at all here. I ended up watching some free HBO and falling asleep. Just goes to not judge a book by it's cover. The Best Western Cocoa Inn is definitely worth the stay and will tell all of my friends and family to stay here if they ever find themselves looking for a bed while traveling to the Space Coast.

« Ended up here accidently - but we were glad! »

The person at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. The room was good, clean and very nice. The swimming pool was worth the drive. Quiet and nice. I'd stay here again. Kind of tucked away, but definitely worth the drive to find it.

    « Wonderful Renovation »

The renovations in the lobby area and breakfast area carried through to the rooms. VERY pleased with the appearance of the room and cleanliness. The outside area is kept very clean. It took a couple seconds to 'find' although right off I95 because BW is changing it's logo so mentally I was just looking for the blue/orange Best Western - this one is blue/white. Little weird but it's that accepting change deal. This hotel was worth the stay and we will be back!

    « Exceptional »

I stay in a lot of hotels for work. On average of 3 to 4 a week. I generally look for convenience. This lovely gem, is directly of the interstate, and usually has plenty of truck parking. It is 15 minutes away from Cocoa Beach, and Cape Canaveral Space Center. The landscaping is well maintained, the grounds are clean. The rooms are cozy, clean, and upgraded. The beds are comfortable, and the towels are soft. Nice view of the inner commons pool area. If you are not to finicky about food, there is a Waffle House, a Subway, and an IHOP within walking distance. The staff are pleasant, and hospitable. I will definitely choose to return.

« Very Clean and Accommodating »

My family and I arrived very late to the hotel but were greeted by a woman that was very informative, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms we rented were CLEAN, in excellent working order, and with zero complaint. My fiance and I slept in late but the kids all ate and had no complaints about breakfast. This hotel is nice and around 15 miles to the beach. If we're in the area again, we will return to this hotel without question. Nice place!

« nice place for the price »

This is a interstate hotel, about 12 miles from the actual beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area and grounds were nice also. It is not a place I would spend a weeks Florida vacation, but since we were passing thru Cocoa Beach it was very nice for a one night visit. I would stay again.

« Clean and comfortable, friendly staff »

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice pool. Breakfast was good with hot waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Also cold cereal, fruit and yogurt. By main road but quiet. Need a car or taxi to go anywhere. Two story building, no elevator. They even have coin laundry room. We enjoyed our 2-night stay. Thank you!

« Nice budget hotel for a stay before a cruise »

This is definitely a small budget hotel. However, the rooms were clean and the hot breakfast was good. It is right next to a gas station/truck stop but was not loud. We stayed one night before our Disney cruise and packaged it with parking our car for the week. I will say when we first pulled up at night it was dark and looked closed. However we realized there was a restaurant attached that was closed so it made it look dark. A recommendation would be to get some lights out there and have a clear sign directing you to where the front desk area is. We actually thought it was closed down when we pulled up. But as I said, the rooms were spacious and clean. There was what looked like a nice pool, free wifi and the free hot breakfast was good and a nice plus. There were also some nice fresh cookies at the front desk. I would recommend this for a stay before or after a cruise as it is convenient to the Port Canaveral cruise terminal.

« Good Place for an overnight stay »

The Best Western was located in the correct area and the price was right for an overnight stay after visiting relatives. The pool looked inviting, although we did not use it. The breakfast was good. Staff were polite. The room was clean and larger than many motel rooms. We would stay here again if our needs put us in the area for an overnight stay.

    « enjoyable 3 night stay! »

stayed at this hotel july 8th to 10th on a layover for work. Excellent location that has truck parking and friendly helpful staff. The rooms were very clean, and maid service was excellent! Enjoyable hot breakfast as well, loved the pancake machine. took advantage of the pool as it was very hot. used the laundry facilities as well which were excellent. would definitely go back to this hotel

    « Leisure Trip »

For me a fairly good motel in a convenient location that fits my needs. Room was good except that the toilet needed repairing or replaced to better flush. Breakfast was good as usual. No problem with checking in or out - fast and friendly service.

« Nice stay on our way to the beach! »

We stayed in room 160 for one night. The room was clean. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly.I would stay here again if I was in the area. The hotel was right next to a small truck stop, so there was a little noise from the trucks, but we didn't mind that and we felt very safe. The pool was clean, and quite.

« Total failure of reservation »

My son flew to Orlando from North Carolina at 9:00 AM on 21June 2016, to help one of his daughters and two-month old grandson (my grand daughter and great grandson) move to North Carolina. He planned a one-day belated Father's Day dinner at the Outback restaurant to include his party of three and his other daughter and her boyfriend as well as my wife and me. Inasmuch as I knew he had been up since early that morning and that he had spent the day packing for the move and that our dinner was scheduled for 6:30 PM I did not want him driving as tired as I knew he would be. At about 3:30 PM on 21 June I visited the Best Western Cocoa Inn, 4225 King Street, Cocoa, FL 32926 to reserve and pay for 2 adjacent rooms, each with a single king-size bed. Upon my arrival the young woman at the counter apparently received a private call on her cell phone and accordingly stepped into the office behind her to take the call. Five or so minutes later she returned and upon hearing my specific request assured me that such rooms were available. I told her that I am 74 years of age and am a retired service member as well as a member of AAA, AARP, the American Legion, etc. She requested and got my driver's license and credit card and I told her that I wanted the rooms charged to me so that my son would be able to pick up the keys after our dinner. I further explained to the cashier/manager/clerk whatever that our dinner would begin at 6:30 PM and that my son would be there afterward and that was why I was reserving and paying for the rooms to insure their availability. At approximately 9:00 PM we arrived back at the afore-mentioned Best Western Cocoa Inn only to be informed by the female counter clerk (her young male compatriot remained present, but mute throughout) that they had no adjacent rooms available despite an almost empty parking lot. I was immediately upset that my earlier visit and reservation/payment were ignored. The young woman informed me that I could accept two rooms that were not adjacent or go elsewhere. As the hour was late I reluctantly accepted, but stated that I intended to contact Best Western's corporate headquarters. The young woman then told me that this motel was independently owned and that the corporation held no sway over the owner. I hope that isn't so. Let me state here that this motel is immediately beside a very large truck stop and that my son and grand-daughter's rooms were on the side closest to the truck stop. I had wanted adjacent rooms to give my grand-daughter a sense of some security. I met my son for breakfast at a nearby IHOP early the next morning and he informed me that the rooms were clean and that as tired as he was he had slept well. Upon checking out the manager had apologized to him for the missteps of the night before (I am not sure what the ?missteps? were as did he find that I had been charged twice and/or that the night clerk had not even bothered to check on rooms that should have been in my name or whatever?). An after the fact apology is totally inadequate for what had transpired. I recommend that if you can't find better accommodations that you do not accept anything verbal from this ?business?. It is obvious that this Best Western franchise has no integrity.

    « Okay »

This was an older, outside corridor style motel. The grounds were very pretty. The rooms have been updated. We checked in around 4pm, turned the A/C to 68 and left to join an event we were in town for. When we returned to our room about 9:30, it was hot in the room and the A/C was making a loud noise. We walked to the office and were told someone would be down to check it. We stood there in the room waiting for the fellow to come. When he did, he came to the same conclusion we did and said he would be right back. He was back in a few minutes with keys to a new room. A little frustrating so late at night, don't know why she couldn't just move us in the first place. The ac in the new room worked great as did the wifi. The breakfast was good with mini waffles and pancakes and an interesting yogurt dispenser instead of individual cartons.

    « Great visit »

We very much enjoyed our stay at St.Augustine in large part because of the great service at Best Western. We walked around the first day and then enjoyed both the trolley tour and the marine tour on our second day to get a good feel of the layout and history of the city.

« Convenient Location To Kennedy Space Center »

We were looking for a hotel for 2 nights to visit Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center. Found this hotel and glad we did. Got to the hotel early in the day and our room wasn't ready so we drove the 10 miles to Cocoa Beach for the day. The hotel offered to call us when our room was ready. When we got back we found the hotel staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice pool area and landscaping. Our room was clean and comfortable as well. A breakfast was offered each morning with a very nice selection of breakfast items. We were very pleased with the hotel and would highly recommend it. 10 miles to Cocoa Beach and about the same to Kennedy Space Center.

« Convenient location to Kennedy Space Center »

Needed a place to stay for a couple nights so we could visit Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center. Arrived early so our room wasn't ready so we drove the 10 miles to Cocoa Beach for the day. Got back at 6 and our room was ready. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable, landscaping was nice and had a nice pool. Our room was nice and clean as well. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we got back due to storms in the area. Got to use the pool the second night. Very nice. Hotel offered a nice breakfast with many choices. Totally pleased with this hotel. Highly recommended......

« Great value for the price »

While the exterior of this hotel doesn't look great, the room was large and clean. The bed was particularly comfortable, wifi was good, and the shower had decent water pressure. I was pleasantly surprised that the hairdryer worked, a rarity in most budget hotels. The hotel isn't really near anything else, but if you need an affordable place to stay in the area, this was good value for our money.

« Do not go Western, go home »

I try to write reviews and give hotels the shadow of the doubt. There is nothing positive to say about our experience at Best Western Inn Cocoa. The rooms are dark and dingy. The service is possibly the worst I have run across. My sister and I arrived at the hotel at 1am after going on a casino cruise. Our room key did not work so my sister went to the front desk. The clerk reset the key. We tried it and it did not work. So I went down to the front desk again. The clerk reset the key again and it still did not work. She reset it 2 times and it still did not work. It was now almost 2am. She finally said that it was possible the lock needed to be reprogrammed. However, she did not know how to reprogram. So she gave us another room for the night. We had to sleep in our dirty clothes. My sister who had cancer and needs pain medicine at night had to go without her meds. Not to mention all the mosquito bites we endured trying to get into our original room. The next day we called the front desk and were told to meet the someone at original room. We arrived at our room which was opened but were told one of us had to stay in the room because the door would lock us out again. At this point we decided not to partake of the free breakfast but to just leave. We went to talk to the front desk about a refund. She told us she was too busy to talk us and gave us the manager's number and email. I called and emailed. I never received a response. It is clear the staff and management do not care about customer service. I strongly recommend that travellers avoid this hotel.

« getting on a cruise out of port canaveral »

Made arrangements to stay the night and leave the car for the week. The people at this hotel made us feel at home. The breakfast was great, the room clean and the staff was great. I was in a wheel chair and they made it all very easy for me , with every thing on the ground floor On my upcoming cruises I will be using this hotel again.

    « really happy »

breakfast offered a great deal of variety..pancakes waffles eggs oatmeal grits biscuits & gravy ...cereal & fruit. Landscape was really done well and looks remodeled recently. Staff was nice. Rooms are very clean.. water pressure good. Beds a little hard for my liking ..but, i would return.

    « Good service »

Chosen because it was near family. Prefer Best Western near a quieter location. This one is adjacent to a very active truck stop. But overall, it was fine. Rooms could use a little updating. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby is in the process of redecorating, which will help.

« Sleep, Park and Cruise »

They provided all that was promised! The room and facilites were excellent and the breakfast was awesome! We appreciated having a free Wall Street journal to read! We parked our car there for a week while we cruised and it was still there when we returned:)

« Not close enough to main highways »

We stayed at this Best Western as it was very late at night and we were very tired. In the past I have often chosen Best Western when travelling around Canada so I expected a very good service. The Hotel is quite large and the rooms are adequate but then the price was quite reasonable. The staff, though friendly, did not really have a handle on what was around the area so it took us quite some time to find a place to have dinner. The room was clean and the furniture was a bit dated but adequate as well. Breakfast was ok. Nothing to report here. Quite forgetable.

    « Stay before cruise »

Clean room. Great location right by the pier. Pool was nice. People at the front desk where very nice. We paid a little extra to stay the 2 new night and was able to leave are car there all week till we returned from our cruise. I would stay here again great area.

    « Good nights sleep »

We really really enjoy this place. Jessica at the front desk is very friendly and she remembered us from three weeks ago. The rooms are always clean and smell nice, beds are comfortable, Pillows are also. Breakfast is good with plenty of hot items for a hungry tummy. Cookies are available on Fri & Sat. Close to IHOP and Waffle House. Town is only a few miles east.

    « Clean, roomy »

The rather dated outward appearance can be misleading. We had no complaints at all. Everything is clean. The landscaping and the pool area are very well done. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was like new. Due to an early departure, we didn't get to try the breakfast. I would stay there again.

    « Bed Bug Problem »

If you wake up itching...Leave immediately and wash your clothes thoroughly when you get home. I traveled twice in the last 3 weeks for business. The first time I stayed at my usual hotel in Lake City and then came to this Best Western, When I woke up i the morning, I was itching all over. I figured it was from the hotel in Lake City because this Best Western appeared much nicer. Well, the second trip a few weeks later, I only stayed at the Best Western and guess what????? Same itching and huge bites all over my body the next morning. I googled what do Bed Bug bites look like, and it looked exactly like what I got after staying the night at this hotel. BAD NEWS ----

    « Nice room »

The room was nice, clean, and smelled fine. Everything in the room "worked" as it was supposed to. The alarm clock, coffee maker, hair dryer, TV, remote, shower, toilet, and climate all worked and was in good repair. The only thing I didn't like about this property was that there was some parking that was like 'around the other side' of the building from where your rooms were. I didn't like the car being so far from us, or being parked in front of other people's rooms. The location really wasn't the best, but the room was nice, clean, and quiet, and reasonably priced.

« Great Place to Stay »

We spent the night here before we went on a cruise. VERY clean, comfortable beds and within walking distance to the beach. Nice pool area with a small bar area. Grandsons loved the pool and the ocean. They also provide breakfast which was quite good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend staying here.

« Great last minute find! »

We had to get a hotel for a last minute unexpected stay. Due to spring break and many events in the area it was hard to find anywhere at all to stay. A girl named Ashley in the national reservations dept.was sweet and very helpful. The next day, when checking in, there was a girl named Jessica (She was there all weekend). She was absolutely wonderful, sweet, helpful, and pleasant and on the phone as well. She is a great first impression and immediately started our stay off right. We were given three freshly made cookies upon check-in. Delicious. Double chocolate was the best. Free paper available. The place was very clean all over inside and out. The grounds were very nice with a lot of beautiful plants, grills, and a pool area with patio seating. The rooms were clean and had a nice microwave and oven, wifi, flat screen tv, comfortable beds and pillows, beds, table and chairs, dresser, and a desk in the rooms. Everything in the room worked. They have a laundry, plenty of ice and soda machines, a fitness room, a meeting room, and a breakfast lounge, and plenty of parking. They have a continental that breakfast that was excellent (I'm not a big hotel breakfast fan and this was great). Waffles, pancakes (great topping options for both), scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits sand gravy, fruit, rolls, toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices and more. We needed more pillows - the maintenance man was quick, helpful, and very nice. I wish I would have gotten his name. He should be on the schedule for April 2, 2016 at 9 pm. The location was perfect for our event. Right off of I95. Next door is a Pilot gas station with a Subway and it was clean. Across the street there is an Ihop. This is an older facility that has been updated. I would stay there again, especially for an event purpose.

    « Noisy »

Rooms are direct external access. During our stay it was sold out and very noisy. Beds are uncomfortable and noisy. With every move you make the beds squeaks and groan. The room was fairly clean and the internet worked well.

    « happy with stay »

we felt very happy with are stay we never had to wait long for service . we tell other people about the services there and tell them they wouldni have any problems staying there and returning again .rippple is a very caring person and very friendly

    « Perfect for what I needed »

This room was just the right distance away from the place I needed to be. It was right off the highway. The staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy. I did not get to participate in the free breakfast but loved that there were complementary cookies at check-in. The only problem I had was that there was hair in my sink. Everything else was clean and tidy.

    « Family »

Close to cruise lines, easy, great breakfast, clean rooms great staff, will come again.I will be cruising again in July with my mom and my sister and her family, planning on staying again, Was a great experiance..

« Not fancy, just great value »

You'll likely be underwhelmed at first. It's in a bleah location, and it looks dated outside. But rooms are clean and big. The breakfast compares well to Hampton Inn. The service is lovely. The gym is brand new. The pool is good enough. It's an easy drive to Cocoa Beach and baseball at Viera. The price is terrific. If you want pretty, go elsewhere. But if you want to keep your cash for FL fun, you can't do much better

« Convenient ,clean for overnight stay »

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Savannah, Georgia. This hotel is located right off I-95. It is an older hotel but the grounds are nicely kept, rooms are clean(very important), beds are comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

« Not so great service »

Checking in we had to wait several minutes and was interrupted by the lady behind the desk answering the phone. Check in time is 3pm. We tried to check in at 4:40 and the room was not ready. She said come back in an hour. Finally got checked in, gave us the key card and no thank you, or anything else. Room was clean, shower was clean and lots of hot water, but not good water pressure. We had a noisy neighbor that yelled at her kid late at night and the next morning. Thin walls, I guess. Breakfast was hot and had omelets and bacon or sausage, and fresh fruit. Checked out with same delay as check in. She was on the phone, and putting phone calls before waiting customers. Again, no courteous remarks, no thank you's. We will not stay there again. I like friendly courteous places and I'm sure there are other better places to stay.

    « great hotel »

this was our first time at this hotel and you could ask for a nice place to stay room was very clean grounds was nice and neat nice garden and plants food was very good nice rooms hotel very clean keep up the great job on the manager and all the staff I hope to spend a nother time at this hotel I will tell all my friends to pick this hotel just like home

    « Nice Experience »

Good hotel. Nice and clean, friendly staff. The breakfast was okay depending on which items you eat. The internet is a little slow but usable as long as you do not require uploading or downloading large amounts of data.

    « Good for me »

Pro's and Con's about my stay. I was there for a close by function. I was extremely grateful to have a first floor room. They honored my request. While the hotel is older, my room was clean. The bed was VERY comfortable and the linens were very soft! Problems arose for two sets of friends. One set were told about an extra charge for having their son in the room. When they questioned this the desk clerk cancelled their reservation. Another friend had requested a first floor room...due to being handicapped. Her request was not honored and she was threatened to have her reservation cancelled. It wasn't cancelled but she was put on a second floor and had to carry everything up the stairs.

    « Hotel room smell »

Our hotel room smelled moldy and the carpet was very dirty. My husband and I both woke up with headaches and not feeling great. Receptionist didn't care about when we informed her about the horrible smell the next morning.

« Great place to stay before going on a cruise from Port Canaveral »

This is an older hotel that is well kept. The rooms are clean. That is the most important thing to us. The refrigerator is a welcome amenity. The beds are comfortable. The wifi was free and powerful enough for us. The rooms open to the outside, which make unloading the luggage very easy. We parked directly in front of our door. There are also rooms that open on to the pool area which would be a little longer walk. No elevators - so if you have a lot of luggage or are physically challenged make sure you ask for the first floor when you make your reservation. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Not to great, but OK. They have a pancake machine that makes fresh pancakes for you. That was good for my husband. It take about 20-30 minutes to get to Port Canaveral from here. We like to stay here because it saves at least $50 when you compare the prices for the hotels right by the Port.

    « good choice »

We were there several days while visiting family in the area. It was a good place to stay. The motel and grounds are nicely kept up. The bed was fine with good reading lights next to it. The motel was surprisingly quiet, even when it was full. There was some freeway noise, but it was muted and not a problem. The staff were nice. The motel was also much less expensive than ones farther south in Viera.

    « Good Prices & Amenities »

The BW franchise is a generally solid Brand that provides a good product at a reasonable price. This hotel is well run the rooms are clean and it's close to all the local attractions right off the interstate. The service and attitude of the staff is good and helpful. Enjoy.

    « Quiet Location! »

It was a three day holiday week-end and most of the hotel along I-95 was booked or too pricey for a quick night stay. I located the hotel on my cellphone having an availability so we stopped. The military discount rate was great, "THANK YOU VERY MUCH". The front desk agent was very friendly and recommended a very good place for dinner. The breakfast was good, plenty of selection however not very large to accommodate a lot of guests. Room was very clean and bed comfortable.

    « A Great Stay »

This was an excellent experience. Very nice facility, with helpful staff. A a great value. Continental breakfast was quite good, including hot waffles...Yum! We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Port Canaveral. We were able to get a shuttle to the port as part of our package, left the vehicle parked in a lighted lot during our week on the cruise, and picked it up after being shuttled back to the hotel following the cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Cocoa area for a Port Canaveral cruise. You will enjoy lovely landscaping and save a bundle on port parking.

    « Cocoa Inn, Cocoa,Fl »

.We were very pleased with this hotel. Front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was fine. Beautifully landscaped. Fitness center was very nice. All of the equipment actually worked. The interior of the lobby was nicely decorated. I believe maybe just remodeled. Would recommend. Easy to find.

    « Avearge Hotel »

Average hotel best described as Truckers paradise! Though they are making an attempt at cleaning up and remodeling, they are at least a year out before anyone can consider this place above a 2 start hotel.

    « Bad Breakfast »

Nice Hotel but don't eat Breakfast there! Our stops at Best Western in the past have all been great but this time everthing went well till breakfast. Hard boiled eggs in a warming pan of COLD Water, Sasage was luke warm. I tryed a bowl of rain bran but the milk did not test fresh and the juice was so bad I dumped it. The water that the juice was mixed with was not filtered and had a fowl last. My wife even dumped her tea. Go across the street to the I HOP

« Looking for a safe, inexpensive overnight? »

We were coming into town to take a cruise and needed a place to stay after driving 24 hours. It was clean and nice. It seemed safe and had a great breakfast. It was just what we needed for the night. If you're looking for five stars...don't stay here.

    « Quiet location. »

We're just passing through on our way to the Florida Keys and was getting late so we decided to stop for the night. Great quiet location, awesome military discount, comfortable bed, clean room and nice selection for breakfast.

    « BEST HOTEL »

The best hotel. It is highly recommended. Breakfst excellent. People are friendly. I will stay here again and I will let my friends know about this hotel. The price is right. Not so cheap and not so expensive plus you get free breakfast. This is a good deal.

    « Awesome Hotel »

I would recommend anyone traveling to this area to stay here. The rooms were clean, comfortable and budget friendly. This is a central location to Cocoa Beach and surrounding areas. We were visiting friends for a few days and this hotel worked out great. We flew into Sanford Orlando Airport and this was a short drive from there. We utilized the express check out as we were leaving on an early flight. This worked out perfectly, and the copy of my bill was waiting in my email when I returned home.

« not what you bargained for »

beds were small and hard ,AC made too much noise door knob to bath room broken and breakfast was good if you ate cereal. I will not stay at this location again as the beds were so small that only one person could fit in a bed and the bed was too hard. did not like telling one of my kids to build a pallet on the floor to sleep on.I expected more for my money.

    « Save your $$$$$ »

This hotel appears to be okay at check in but do not stay here especially in room 166. There is a bad flooding problem that settles right in front of the door and does not drain. I had to walk through two inches of water, getting my shoes and hems of my pants soaked. I had to carry my dogs out of the door as the water was too deep and they had just been groomed. Once out the parking was also flooded. The water was in the room. The room Stinks of mold and there is not a manager on site. There was only one towel and one wash cloth and one hand towel in a room with a king size bed. So I had to go to get another towel. No grab bars in the shower and warm water poor pressure. Don't stay here. I will speak to the manager in the morning and write corporate. This is unsatisfactory.

« Just what we wanted »

Although the lobby area is still undergoing renovations (looks like they're going to be quite nice), we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Cocoa Inn and would certainly stay there again should the occasion arise. Our receptionist was very helpful and answered a series of questions about our stay, shuttle arrangements to Port Canaveral, and even about nearby eateries. The room was very clean, well appointed with standard, pleasant decor. And the mattress was very comfortable! Oh, and the AC unit was comparatively quiet and apparently clean as I awoke without massive congestion! Since we were cruising, the free parking with one night's stay was a major attraction and while the independent shuttle company left a bit to be desired, it was far better to wait a bit and pay $28 round trip instead of the $135 parking at the port! The area where cars are to be left was convenient and well lighted, so we felt quite comfortable leaving our vehicles. Breakfast was a cut above, with a good sized room and the feature that had compliments from almost everyone - there was a pancake maker as well as a waffle maker. More important to me - the coffee was good! Of course it wasn't a gourmet breakfast, but it was a cut above the average. As I said, we would gladly stay again and were very pleased with our selection, with one minor criticism. There was only one person at the check-in desk and while she remained perfectly charming and helpful, it was clear that she was having trouble handling all the business, especially as we were checking in at 'rush hour' - about 4 pm. People had to wait longer than usual to get checked in. Why the management wouldn't put on an extra hand during evening rush is a mystery to me, and I hasten to add, a seemingly growing trend.

    « Very nice hotel »

Although the hotel was in the middle of renovations, I thought the room was very nice. It was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. TV and internet access a plus. The free breakfast was one of the best spreads I have seen. The pool looked nice, although it was too cool to use it for my stay. I would have liked it if there was an exercise room, but maybe that is in the plans for the renovations.

    « Good location »

Let's be honest, this is no 5 five star resort. In fact, this was probably a motel at one point. The furniture and property, despite some renovations is a big dated. However, we did not experience any issues and the customer service was excellent. The rates are perfect. Good experience!

    « Best is right »

I had a long journey to Cocoa Florida and arrived after midnight. The clerk was so polite and helpful it really was a welcome for weary travelers. She gave me my AAA discount without a problem, the price was great and the clerk offered a late check out as we checked in pretty late. We had a great clean pool facing room that was well worth the $85. I can't say enough good things about this place, the free breakfast and the staff.

    « Yes »

Yes it was a nice place to stay. It had everything we needed. Breakfast had a nice variety. The rooms were nice and had shampoo and soaps. I liked the separate sink. I was able to make my tea. Breakfast had everything from cereal to pancakes. Great

« On the road again »

Just left ft Lauderdale now were heading north towards home with some stops along the way,the rooms are large with king size beds doing lots of renovations to the lobby and front desk area.Pool looks great to bad its not July, very nice courtyard around pool, very quiet not what I'm used to being in Miami and Lauderdale all the time, the room is very clean I'm quite impressed alot better than the extended stay I have been in for the last two weeks in Lauderdale. But if your looking for night life you have to head east towards the beach cause there AINT (southern talk) NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING IN THE AREA,the Winn Dixie me and my crew went to was like a time warp back to the sixties....kinda weird. So if your looking for a quiet place to stay for a night or two you will be happy you stopped here there's not even any suspicious characters milling around or any drug deals in parking lot, guess ill have to watch the big screen tv (very nice tv might I add )for a hotel so don't let the looks from the road fool ya not a bad place at all. YALL COME BACK NOW..YA HEAR??

« We enjoyed all the good service, »

Great, good breakfast. Clean , good service. Close to the beaches 20 or 30 minutes Close to airport and Orlando and Disney. All for a good price. I will recommend to freinds and family who are on a close budget.

    « Clean and affordable »

The room was clean and a good price. The shower had good pressure and the air conditioner was also good. Only problem was the AC (being a split unit) had no noise insulation so whenever people walked by you could here them as if the window was open.

« clean, affordable, great breakfast »

I recently had to visit Florida for a quick over nighter to attend a family funeral. The staff at the hotel are friendly, the room was clean, wifi worked great, and the free breakfast was great! I've never seen such a good hotel breakfast - they had waffles, pancakes, sausage and biscuits with gravy, pastries, juice, coffee, oatmeal, grits, fruit and cold cereal. Had a slight glitch with the HBO - sound went off for about 15 minutes - while all the other channels worked fine. The only restaurants right nearby are fast food and just a few to choose from, but much more to choose from if you drive a little further. Because I have family in this area, I may need to visit again - I will definitely keep this hotel in mind.

« Great location for Space Coast marathon »

Only stayed here one night for the Space Coast Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. If you are racing, you can't beat this location. It's the closest to the race start/finish. They have it organized with the race for a shuttle. Upon check in they had fresh-baked cookies at the front counter, and they gave all runners a snack bag for breakfast the next morning (you could choose to take it on check in or get it in the a.m.) with an apple, banana, protein bar, and bottled water. I thought that was really nice to make us welcome. They have free wifi, and a breakfast buffet is included which has the typical hotel breakfast items like bagels and muffins, waffles, and some hot food. Not fancy, but enough to start the day. Parking is free. Most of the other hotels associated with the Space Coast race are on the beach, which is nice, but if you don't plan on staying at the beach for a little vacation, then why pay all the extra? Plus this place is much closer to the start and finish so the shuttle ride is shorter. If you are not coming for the race, otherwise, the hotel is about 4 miles from Cocoa Village (actually where the race starts) that is a shopping and dining area. I'm not sure how far it would be to the beach - not sure this would be your best option for a beach visit. I think it's also pretty close to Cape Canaveral so it's a good location for that kind of visit. It's also right off 95, so it's easy to get to. Otherwise, accommodations are basic. Nothing fancy. Combo shampoo/conditioner so BYO if you like separate. There is a pool on site.

    « Space Coast Marathon »

This was a great value for our marathon stay. We will definitely be staying there for the next two years as we complete our marathon goals at Cape Canaveral. They provided a runner goodie bag for our marathon for the morning, had a volunteer making sure we got on the bus, and had great rates for the race...awesome experience.

« Best Western Cocoa Inn Stay »

This Best western was easy to get to. Convenient. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend staying there when you are in the area. The breakfast choices provided me and my husband with many options

« Not bad for the money. »

This hotel is not the greatest of BW I have stayed at but for the price it served its purpose. Hotel is under renovation at this moment so hopefully when they get done things will improve. Right of the I-95, 6 miles to the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

    « Over night stay »

Driving through to get to Daytona and stop for night sleep.Hotel was under remodeling u wouldn't have notice no noise of construction. Very friendly and serviceable front desk.Breakfast was perfect. cool pancake and waffle machine.

    « A hidden gem... »

I absolutely love staying at this hotel. It is perfect for a weekend getaway or a week long vacation. The staff is exceptional, housekeeping is great, and the rooms are comfortable and very accommodating with a hairdryer, coffee maker, microwave, refrig, great tv, internet, HBO and a pristine pool to top it off.

« Stay at Best Western Cocoa, FL »

Nice and polite people, rooms were clean, breakfast room was kept clean and everything was lept supplied withn food and drink. Motel personnel were neat, clean and polite in every aspect. Plenty of parking area, outside appreance was nice and attractive, I would recommend this motel to everyone I know. If I came back to this area I would stay at this motel.

« my stay at the best western »

the room didn't have the appearance of being clean. It had hair on the bed and in one of the towels. The carpet also had 1 big stain on the side of the bed. they had a nice variety for breakfast. I did notice that they are renovating the lobby area of the hotel

« BUGS and NO MANAGER »

Moved pillows 3 bug wings! Was given new sheets to change bed but itched all night. Had to pay full price not even a discount. Keep trying to get in touch with manager he is never there and no assistant managers. Wow what a place to work. dirty, run down should of slept in my car.

« Not a bad place, just a bad location. »

My coworker arranged for this room sight unseen. It's very near I-95 and a busy Pilot travel center filled with semi Trucks. Luckily our room was quiet and clean. The bathroom was very clean. I have no complaints, except that I did not feel safe, due to some seedy looking people wandering around the property. They looked like drug addicts. Hotel staff were polite. We slept well.

    « As expected »

Clean, well maintained room and grounds. Could stand better drainage around the pool area. Got ankle deep after a rain storm. No excessive noise. Friendly staff. Wifi is slow as dial-up and goes out when it rains. Otherwise everything was fine.

« Clean rooms friendly staff »

I stayed at this location for a week it was a very clean and quiet hotel. Rooms were up to date and very clean. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with helping us with any concerns. Great place to stay, will return when one the area.

    « No bugs »

My biggest concern was that there would be bugs and to my delight there wasn't. The front desk put us in an isolated room and that made for a pleasant stay- no one above us or next to us. I have a feeling that the walls are thin but that did not affect us. The pool was nice but a little too small. The breakfast area was going through renovation and I did not feel comfortable eating among unfinished sheet rock with the fans blowing dust. The food was not appetizing in the least. We were offered a 5% discount on the last day but 5% for the previous two days would have been better (at least it would help after having to eat at the next door Waffle House). The motel is right next to a truck stop on a major road which made it convenient to get to but not a vacation-type location.
