"A first class hotel"

5
21/09/2018

We stayed two nights in the hotel. Everything went smooth, from check in to check out. I had an enormous room, clean and with a fine bathroom. A sofagroup included in the room. Good bed. A/C worked fine, and silent, breakfast was good (7 - 10), the staff very helpful (thank you to Mikhaela and her colleagues). Wi-Fi was fast all over the hotel. The hotel is situated in a sidestreet, and the environment is silent, exept from some dogbarking at night. Ask for a room away from the street. Walking distance to the center. They have a pick up service from the airport.

"A Good Choice"

13/01/2018

The location is a bit off from on a back street but close to Strada Ismail. So there are many shops and restaurant nearby. Also about 10 min walk to the Central Market. The rooms are quite good and there are international TV channels. Room size was quite generous. The gym was small but functional. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was over expectation. The wifi worked fine, better than most hotels I stayed at in Chisinau (more than 10).

"Great hotel downtown"

5
21/12/2017

I stayed at the Best Western Flowers while on business in Chisinau. The hotel was quiet and served a great breakfast. The room was very clean and the hotel desk was able to ask all my questions regarding places to eat at night with in walking distance.

"Nice experience in a spacious room"

5
21/11/2017

One of the hotel staff picked me up at the airport. Check in was quick and got a nice spacious room. Ironically it was next to the elevator BUT I did not hear it at all. I also did not hear much outside noise but there is a lot of construction surrounding the hotel and it is possible that there will not be as much privacy in the future. My room had a safe and I slept very well. There was free water and the breakfast buffet was tasty. You can order an omelette that the staff can make for you but please be patient. It will take some time to do this. It was non-smoking and the staff was cordial. I would definitely stay here if I come back to Kishinev. Thanks.

"Excellent Hotel, Good Staff, Pleasant Rooms, Nice Bar"

20/10/2017

Enjoyed the stay here for a couple of nights during the 2017 wine festival, the hotel was located a little away from the centre but taxis were very cheap (as was everything else in Chisinau) and a walk was a good way to let the amazing food on offer in Chisinau settle. The hotel staff were multi-lingual, friendly and very helpful, the rooms were of a very good standard with well-stocked mini-bars, nice decor and good facilities. The bar was pleasant with good bar staff, parking free and good wifi. Breakfast was buffet style but ample and had good coffee. We enjoyed the stay here for a few nights and would stay there again.

"Nice spacious room!"

25/08/2017

I stayed here just 2 nights for a conference I had in Chisinau. Hotel is really up to European standards. It's clean, services are good and breakfast is really ok. I didn't have the time to cruise around, but it's close to the center. Choose this hotel and you won't be disappointed.

"I enjoyed a couple of totally satisfactory couple of nights here"

5
13/08/2017

Some reviews I read before staying here suggested that it was not "central." I suppose that depends on your perspective. It is effectively 1-2 blocks from what were once the two biggest hotels in the city - Hotel Chisinau and the National. The city itself is what might be called "sprawling" in some ways, so maybe there is not such thing as a compact city center, but I enjoyed a lot of walking, some time in a couple of nice parks, and overall found everything worked out just as I had hoped. I found the hotel a very comfortable place to stay. The room was very clean, well-organized, and I very much appreciated the fast wi-fi connection.

"Wedding and visit"

29/04/2017

Very clean, friendly staff, good bed, lovely breakfast (as all Best Western Plus have). Rooms and hotel fairly new and well maintained. Helpful front desk in a place few speak English. Just off main streets and very quiet at night. Lovely French doors and A/C. Nice stay!!!

Thank you very much for a warm review. We are doing our best to make the guest's stay at Best Western Plus Flowers Hotel as comfortable as possible.

"Not really of business hotel standard"

3
31/03/2017

Just returned from two-week business stay here. Hotel is located 20 mins walk from the heart of the central area, in a run-down but peaceful area, but we chose it because it was near where we were working. It is small, with 40 rooms over four floors, and has no luxury facilities. The clientele seems to be mainly local, not international, businessmen. We had suite rooms at a good corporate rate, and comfort level was fine even though the room was dark - poor ratio of window to blank wall - and rather old-fashioned in its decoration. Windows needed attention (dirt from recent building works outside and two double glazing panes misted over in the middle). Two light bulbs in room not working (three in a colleague's) suggests there is no regular checklist for keeping standards up. The hotel's general facilities consist of a bar (dark but cosy) and a restaurant that was very little used. Breakfast was poor: cheap cereals, some fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, packeted bread to toast, cheese slices and warm fried eggs and sausages. Other eggs could be ordered on demand but the concept of a 4.5 minute soft-boiled egg was rather a challenge for the chef, with a hit trate of about 20% over my stay. Evening meals were mainly grilled meats and fish with roasted vegetables, nothing inspiring but at least reasonably priced, as was the wine. The kitchen ran out of dishes rather too often For business travellers there is a 'business centre' which is full of the hotel's accounting records in boxes on the floor. But it has two working computers and a printer, so was fine to work in. There is also a large conference room with very gloomy feel and a musty smell, probably because no light is allowed to enter it and the windows are never opened. The hotel's staff are young, friendly and very hard working. Delightful people who try their best, despite not being trained to the standards familiar to people who regularly stay in American Chains. This hotel is Moldovan owned and part of the BW franchise, and the difference with internationally-managed hotels does show!

"One night stay"

18/01/2017

Very good hotel which would ideally suit the business traveler. Excellent facilities and helpful staff. Central location and very good restaurant (Fish and chips recommended) but they are definitely very different to any you may have tried before!

"Satisfactory Tourist Hotel"

3
09/10/2016

I stayed here for 4 nights. Its located a little off center but on the airport side of town and not far from the train station. It's clean, has excellent wifi, is in a quiet side road, and near a few cheap places to eat. Given that it's only 6 years old it feels tired but everything works and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet is a little basic but adequate. I visited the restaurant on 1 evening. There were only 2 of us in there and I felt it was a bit of an inconvenience for the server to actually have customers but the Moldovan cuisine was well cooked and the Moldovan wine excellent

, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Plus Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Thank you. We are doing our best for the guests to be comfortable. We revised the breakfast menu and hope you will like it next time you are at our hotel.

"Surprisingly good"

4
04/10/2016

Well fitted and appointed, decent size rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Food pretty good. Slightly away from the centre of the city, and next to a building site for an apartment block, but walkable to the centre and local amenities. Rack rates are high nonetheless, so worth exploring getting a decent deal. But a recommended venue.

, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Plus Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Thank you kindly for the review. The construction works are finally over. Hotels management is always open for discussion of any topic, including rates. We'll be glad to see you at the hotel.

"Choose your room carefully"

29/08/2016

Pleasant hotel, friendly staff, large well equipped rooms, but ... LOCAL DOGS barking on and off throughout the night, particularly bad for the left hand side rooms, and limited breakfast choice with slow service.

"Nice hotel with great onsite restaurant; Not in the center of the city"

4
28/08/2016

I stayed here for one night after arriving back from Tiraspol, so that I would be in a convenient location from which to leave for the airport early the next morning. I stayed in Room 507, which had a TV, Wi-Fi connection, luggage rack (or else you can put your bag on the desk), minibar and free tea, coffee and bottle of water. The bathroom had a shower (but no bath), hair dryer and makeup mirror. My main gripe was that the power socket in the bedroom was not conveniently located. The reception staff were helpful. There's a great onsite restaurant, which I recommend if you're saying at the hotel, especially as I don't think there are many other decent restaurants in this area of town. (Frankly, even in the very center of Chisinau, where I had stayed earlier on the trip, the food options aren't great.)

, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Thank you for such a high appreciation of our services. It is very important to us. Hope to see you again at our hotel. Best regards, Best Western Plus Flowers Hotel team.

"Central location with free parking place"

23/08/2016

We had a big and nice room for 3 pax. It was confortable, the wi-fi free and it works good. Breakfast is disappointing for a Best Western hotel. Almost nothing to eat. A little bit of salami and cheese, some cereals and eggs. Dinner was good and all the dishes were delicious. The stuff vrey friendly and professional.

, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear Corina, we have changed a few items at breakfast and added more new ones. We hope you'll like it next time you are our guest.

"Nice hotel."

22/06/2016

Nice hotel. Friendly workers, clean rooms, good breakfast. Now, there is a big apartment building in construction right by the hotel and they make noise until late, other then that, my friends loved it.

"Refreshing"

4
10/06/2016

My daughter and I stayed here after her pharmacy rotation at the Moldovan hospital. The city was hot and dry and this was one of a few places with air conditioning and amenities. We were within walking distance to beautiful parks, historic churches and a shopping mall. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

"Comfortable, centrally located hotel"

5
07/06/2016

One of the Best Western Hotels we have been to. The room was large with a large comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and good wi fi. It is in a residential area with much building in progress, none of which could be heard from the room. The mat in hotel lift announced the day in English!

"Elegant and friendly"

5
28/05/2016

Very quiet, but not too far from the centre (although it is a step to the very centre of Chisinau). Clean, and large rooms, with a big shower facility. Food in the terrace bar was fine, not a bad choice, and good quality at very reasonable prices. Excellent wine by the glass or bottle. Everybody doing their best, charming young staff being very helpful. A good choice this hotel.

"Best hotel in Chisinau"

5
22/05/2016

You should stay here if you decided to come to Chisinau. Nice and comfortable rooms, new furniture. Center located. Breakfast included and tea coffee in rooms. They have gym room and small sauna included and free of charge. Food is tasty, have many options

"Good for a short stay"

3
25/04/2016

Location is not great, but this is not at all a bad choice for a short stay. The hotel is situated in a residential area, but quite close to restaurants. Rooms are basic, so are the bathrooms. Breakfast options quite limited and hotel bar closes at 11PM. However, rooms are very quiet and relaxing, so I would definitely return there. Reception staff are extremely nice and helpful.

"Nice hotel located in downtown Chisinau"

4
25/04/2016

Hotel is nice, located very close to Stefan Cel mar avenue. They have conference room in the sixth floor, sauna and massage center.e service, Good breakfast, nice service, rooms are clean, 24 hour reception. In average 3 star hotel. Price could be less. 160 Euros per night per person is an exaggeration.

"Need a update"

4
28/03/2016

The location is good, a little back from the big road, so not much noise. The room is good but need a update. The breakfast is good for Moldova but the bread was not really fresh, sadly. The people in the hotel are service minded and help you out all the time

"Very friendly hotel in Chisinau"

4
20/02/2016

Location of the hotel allows for quick ride to the airport. It is on the edge of city center. Main street walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a restaurant with limited but tasty menu and acceptable prices. Great rooms and beds.

"Great for business, not couples "

4
14/02/2016

The hotel is great for mid range. Everything is clean, also the food in the restaurant is quite good. Not so expensive, perfect for business, not for couples. The king size bed is small :). Free parking for the clients. Overall the hotel is great but the view is bad.

"Reliable, good, nothing sensational, but still preferred place for staying in Kishinev"

4
10/02/2016

Obviously the preferred place to stay for foreigners in Kishinev. 50% of the travelers in the Austrian flight were there 50 minutes after landing. good rooms, good WiFi, moderate breakfast, large rooms, warm enough. Do not expect anything extraordinary and the expectations will be met. Just a place to sleep, nothing more

"Good enough "

3
01/01/2016

Not alot of options for business travellers. This hotel is good enough for your need. Front desk has good attitude although have some trouble with English. Room is okay but can be renovated further as well as the bathroom. This is quite near to good restaurants. Breakfast, nothing special but can serve your basic need.

"Good mid range hotel"

4
03/12/2015

Best Western Plus is a good option for short stays in Chisinau. The hotel is located some 15 /20 minutes walk from the main square government buildings and a block from Stefan cel Mare. Standard rooms are smallish but well arranged. The staff is helpful, service being up to standards. In short, really in lines with one can expect from Best Western.

"Great Hotel with Quaint Touches"

5
27/11/2015

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in a business trip to Chisinau. Couldn't have stayed anywhere better with comfy rooms, lovely staff and great price. Rooms are large with a comfy bed, hot showers, warm heating and fast internet. There is a little bar that serves gorgeous food at unbelievably cheap prices plus local beer that less than 50p a bottle (hic!!!) Breakfast is basic but filling. The hotel is in a slightly back street area but is safe and 5 minute walk from an area of bars and restaurants. Can't recommend this place high enough to western travellers as a place to stay and feel comfortable. Enjoy X

"Nice hotel but bed view"

4
18/11/2015

First of all, the bed thing at this hotel is the view and surrounding area: abandoned buildings and construction sites all around. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel decorated, clean, nice room, spacious bathroom, and all the facilities which you need. The rooms are little small, and the breakfast is not so great for a 4 stars hotel. For a walk to the centre the hotel is ideally located. Along Stefan cel Mare Boulevard or through the Central market you walk in about 15 minutes to the two central parks of Chisinau. Wi-Fi in the hotel is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The cooling equipment is little noisy, but without this is a queit and cozy hotel. If you come here, you must arrange a winery tour at Cricova and / or Milesti (really underground cities). Purcari wine is the best, but is far from Chisinau.

"wonderful hotel"

5
06/11/2015

Considering other accommodation experienced in Chisinau, this is a very good hotel, in nice area. Service in wonderful and staff is very supportive. Sorry that I could not have booked a room without breakfast, as I had a very early departure.

"service, price,"

04/11/2015

Was optimal. Staff was friendly, price quality was optimal. Everything was very good. I would everytime recommend this hotel to friends Staff is allways ready to help. Service total was optimal. I have stayed at this hotel 7 times the last year 14 months.

"Very nice stay"

29/10/2015

Hotel located close from the main street Stefan Cel Mare but in a quiet street. Places to park for free in front of the hotel. Rooms very comfortable, good kitchen, nice service. Very good price/quality

"Excellent hotel"

27/10/2015

I was staying at the Best Western Plus Flowers hotel in October 2015. Everything was great. I really really enjoyed the service. They have pillow menus in the room, complimentary water and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is nice. Recommend it to everybody

"Good hotel"

15/10/2015

I just finished my stay in Best Western Flowers. It is my 8 time there. The hotel is near the city center. The staff of the reception look like they are "angry" but they have been always kindly and helpful. Don't expect that the receptionist stand up for you, they don't use to do so. Rooms are OK, they have nice mattresses and clean WC. Believe me if you know the standards of the hotels in Moldova, you will know that you are in good hands if you finally book in BW Flowers.

Serghei C, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear Mr. Ruben! Thank you for choosing BEST WESTERN PLUS FLOWERS hotel for the 8th time. It is really really important for us!!! Your review is very important for the travelers and also will help us to make our service better. Thank you again and see you next time as our guest!

"Excellent service, food, location and cleanness"

5
15/10/2015

I have received the best service and the manager Dmitri went beyond of what was expected. Very friendly staff (reception, restaurant), great food (best food in Chisinau as i went other restaurants and it was not comparable, breakfast was very very tasty and a lot of choice of food such as home made waffles, crepes, eggs, natural juices, yogurt, fruits, meat, cereal), comfortable bed, very cozy, clean room, TV channels in all languages. Conference room was very good with timely service of the staff in terms of setting up the room according to your needs. Hotel is also conveniently located on the main street (Stefanu cel Mare), near 2 shopping centers and 20min walk to the center of the city. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Wonderful experience.

Serghei C, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear Marianna! Thank you for your feedback! We really happy that you used many of our services (conference, restaurant, accommodation) and remained happy with all of them. It means that in future we will continue to deliver the best service we can in order to make your stay with us comfortable.

"Decent hotel but chaotic breakfast service"

3
14/10/2015

This is a decent hotel with friendly reception and bar staff. The rooms are comfortable although the view from those at the back is over a demolition site. However, no work was progressing when we were there so it was quiet. The breakfast facilities are barely adequate. The coffee dispenser is very slow and frequently runs out of water and being situated in a corner adjacent to the toast machine results in crowding. The replenishment of supplies in general is very slow. More staff and more space is needed! .

Serghei C, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear Mr. David! Thank you for you review! It is important for us and will help us to do our service better. Due to your review we ordered a new coffee machine which will be faster and quality of coffee you drink increases. The breakfast served from 7 to 10 a.m. For 3 hours as you see. The time you came was the busiest (15 min), because the whole group of 25 people simultaneously came to breakfast. I am really sorry for this and will do everything possible in order such situation will never repeat.

"Great Hotel"

05/10/2015

Staff helpful, friendly and most speak good English. Quick check in and no issue having a late checkout. Located on side street and very close to town centre, only 5 minute walk. Free WIFI Breakfast typical eastern European which was enough for me, restaurant meals were pleasant enough. Bar and outside section of restaurant great places to relax Need to be careful when having shower due to being located above a deep bath. This is a modern Hotel and my room which was a Suite was Quiet, clean, very comfortable and relaxing, would have to be one of the top hotels in Chisinau

Serghei C, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear Mr. TomoPortHedland! Thank you for your nice review! Everything we do is to make your stay comfortable out of your country. Your review helps us to do it better and to make corrections whatever is needed. THANK YOU AGAIN!

01/10/2015

Modern hotel with good facilities situated just off the main street (Stefan Cel Mare) in Chisinau. Staff were helpful. My bedroom was spacious with en suite shower . Free water was refreshed every day. Breakfast was adequate (good for the region). Ate once in the hotel restaurant which was pleasant enough. Only drawbacks were the poorly lit street outside and the building works in the vicinity (although there was no noise from these activities).

Serghei C, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear valued guest! Thank you for you high appreciation of our services! Hope the construction will be finished soon and the view on the street will be nicer. Thank you again for your comments! Hope to see you next time as our guest.

Very good hotel, stayed there on several occasions, food is delicious at the restaurant, helpful and friendly stuff, good wifi and the gym. Location is central, walkibg distance to central street stefan cel mare and restaurants there.

"Extremely poor check in experience"

4
22/08/2015

I unfortunately had an extremely bad experience when I arrived. Alexandru was at the front desk and was extremely abrupt and rude. I travel extensively (a few months out of the year) and this was the worst welcome I have ever experienced. The reservation had only been made a short time before and rather than try to find it, I was told to leave the luggage and return at the 2 pm check in time. It was an extremely hot day in Chisinau and there were rooms available. I was shocked by his lack of hospitality. Not only that, but when I inquired about a map and recommendations for where to go he continued to be rude and was unhelpful. There was an extremely kind woman who also was behind the desk. She ended up taking over by giving me recommendations and suggestions. I wish I had caught her name so I can share it with Best Western when I contact them about Alexandru. She truly tried to make up for Alexandru's horrible hospitality and for that I am extremely grateful. The room was extremely comfortable and well maintained. The wifi access was great and the buffet breakfast was wonderful as well. When it comes to the hotel itself I highly recommend it for a stay in Chisinau. Best Western may just need to do some additional training for how to greet hotel guests, because it appears that they have an employee in Chisinau in need of additional training.

Serghei C, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Flowers Hotel, responded to this review
Dear valued guest! Thank you for your feedback. It is very important for us! Due to very high occupancy we could not offer you the room at your early checkin. Normally we do offer rooms upon the arrival even if the room is done but not inspected (in the case the guest is agree to get it). We understand how tired are our guests and want them to get the room as soon as possible. Again sorry for negative checkin experience. Thank you very much for your comments on our services. We are pleased to deliver the best service we can. Hope to ser you next time at our property!
